Question: Which U.S. President was military-trained in combat, branded a traitor and led a group of insurrectionists in a rebellion to overthrow the established government? Reportedly had a rather large price on his head being a significant bounty paid in hard currency. He faced capital punishment if captured, evaded law enforcement, traveled the countryside fully armed with advanced weapons stolen from government armories, and reportedly killed government officers in hand-to-hand combat during attempts to arrest or kill him on sight. He recruited fellow insurrectionists, trained them to kill government law enforcement, and, in later conflicts, was responsible for the deaths of many government military officers.
During the Insurrectionist upraising now called the Revolutionary War, the existing government, led by the British, considered George Washington a traitor for spearheading the insurgency against their rule. Washington’s role as the Commander-in-Chief of the Insurgents, now known as the Continental Army, being a organized force of revolutionary insurrectionists—made him the leading figure in the insurgency.
If captured, Washington and other revolutionary leaders would have been charged with treason, a crime punishable by death under British law. His bald-faced defiance placed him at the forefront of British efforts to suppress the upraising, with orders to kill or capture him on sight.
Combat seasoned with blood on his sword, Washington led a surprise attack on a French scouting party during the French and Indian War. This skirmish resulted in the death of French Commander Joseph Coulon de Jumonville. It was reported that Washington himself delivered the fatal blow, killing Commander Joseph Coulon de Jumonville on the spot!
Throughout the insurrection (a.k.a.) Revolutionary War, Washington’s leadership in battle involved direct hand-to-hand combat against highly trained and heavily armed government forces. His military experience, tactical skill and willingness for hand-to-hand combat earned him great respect.
Then American people elected him as the first President of the United States and would have made him King, but he refused and so our great Republic was born.
Final Word: This is who we are, this is what we do and this is who we elect!

This is what America used to be. Now they are taught DEI and how to be transgendered. Parents need to start suing for what they have done to their kids.
I know most of this but disagree with the part about hand-to-hand combat killing government officials. I know of no time when Washington fought in hand to hand except with the Indians during the French and Indian War.
The series named 'TURN,' was a made for tv series based on all of this. It was about Washington's first spy ring. I loveed this show. Women helped, gave signals by flying a black petticoat. Women seduced British officers to get info to pass on. The names, which I do not remember now, were the same names as in reality. Leeway was taken, but the premise was based on truth.

They all knew they were dead unless they won, but they had backbone, determination, conviction, and courage!
For decades our men are made to be soft........the fight was slowly bred out of Americans as they were thought to rely on government, don't get involved, stop following your gut, don't believe your lying eyes!
Wow! Why isn't this being taught in our schools? ........never mind the dems don't want the people strong or led by strong leaders.
