In a majority vote, the dummycrats-DNC passed a measure to block superdelegates — elected officials and party leaders — from casting a vote for any presidential candidate unless a second ballot is required at the 2020 national convention, stripping them of power. The change comes after supporters of Sen. commie-Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., asserted superdelegates gave liar-Hillary Clinton an unfair advantage, creating a perception that she had the nomination sewn up before the primary. But the reforms codified Saturday, which dramatically change the way the party picks its presidential nominee, were backed by supporters of both liar-Clinton and commie-Sanders. “Sanctuary Schools” Defy Immigration Crackdown

In a resounding rebuke of the Trump Administration and its immigration  agenda, several school boards have recently declared their districts “safe havens” or “sanctuaries,” meaning they offer protections to illegal aliens residing in the districts against deportation by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). On August 14, Upper Darby School Board in Pennsylvania adopted a resolution declaring the school district a safe haven for illegal alien families. The resolution reads: Whereas the Upper Darby School Board is committed to the success of all students, regardless of immigration status; all schools within Upper Darby School District will be a welcoming place for students and families to seek help, assistance, information, and safety if faced with feat [sic] and anxiety about immigration enforcement. Of course, Upper Darby is not the first school district to give sanctuary to illegal aliens. It joins hundreds more with policies ranging from just vaguely creating a “welcoming environment” to specifically not cooperating with federal immigration officials without a warrant, subpoena, or court order...

Ankara Tries Turkish Cypriot Journalist for Criticizing Turkey

The charges concern the January 21 front page of the newspaper, which criticized Turkey's invasion of the Syrian city of Afrin as well as an article by Levent about a violent mob action against his newspaper on January 22. Afrika, which has a left-wing political stance, is located in the occupied northern section of Nicosia and covers news related to Cyprus, Turkey and the wider region. There’s No Such Thing as a ‘Conservative’ Carbon Tax

Note that they won’t boost growth and you’re told that they will save the planet. The confusion abounds: carbon tax proposals are sold as the key to reducing burdensome red tape, even though that tape can be and has been cut absent a sweeping new tax regime. The tax is supposed to be “revenue neutral” thanks to offsetting tax cuts elsewhere—even as that same revenue gets promised to households in the form of a “dividend.” Through careful calibration, the tax is meant to offset efficiently the externalities associated with carbon-dioxide emissions — although no reliable estimate of those externalities exists. As I observed more than three years ago: “If we grabbed the wrists of carbon-tax advocates and demanded they turn over the shells all at once, we would find there was never a marble to begin with.” A new piece of legislation bears out that warning. Congressman Carlos Curbelo (R-FL) has introduced a carbon tax bill with none of the properties that proponents had promised to conservatives. It raises taxes dramatically, while refunding little of the money back to households. It slows economic growth. It does not eliminate EPA authority over greenhouse gases or address other climate-related regulations. It will increase if arbitrary targets are not met. But the criers of the conservative carbon tax aren’t outraged, or even opposed. They are delighted...

US set to announce it rejects Palestinian ‘right of return’

The US will announce a policy that, “from its point of view, essentially cancels the ‘right of return,'” the report said. The “right of return” is one of the key core issues of dispute in the Israeli-Palestinian  conflict. The Palestinians claim that five million people — tens of thousands of original refugees from what is today’s Israel, and their millions of descendants — have a “right of return.”  Israel rejects the demand, saying that it represents a bid by the Palestinians to destroy Israel by weight of numbers. Israel’s population is almost nine million, some three-quarters of whom are Jewish. An influx of millions would mean Israel could no longer be a Jewish-majority state. According to the Hadashot TV report Saturday, the US in early September will set out its policy on the issue. It will produce a report that says there are actually only some half-a-million Palestinians who should be legitimately considered refugees, and make plain that it rejects the UN designation under which the millions of descendants of the original refugees are also considered refugees. Let's Join Together to Stop 

Out-of-Control Prosecutors

{ cnsnews.com } ~ At this unique moment in American history, liberals and conservatives have something in common: an abhorrence of government prosecutors run amok.

Republicans are livid at the federal fishing expedition known as the Mueller investigation. Bit players have been dragooned into an endlessly politicized probe. The media has taken sides; nonstop leaks have tainted the process. And the lead witch-hunter wields enormous and unchecked power to trump up (pun intended) charges against marginal campaign figures that have nothing to do with alleged Russian collusion.

Monday's split jury verdict in lobbyist Paul Manafort's trial on fraud charges (guilty on eight, hung on 10) will be hyped by the collusion truthers as proof positive of Putin-flavored pudding. But Manafort's actual financial crime convictions have nichego to do with any imagined campaign conspiracy with the dreaded Reds.

There's another truth that should be obvious to government watchdogs from all parts of the political spectrum. However shady Manafort's activities and they were swampy with a capital "SWAMP", they were simply a means to Mueller's end of twisting the screws on a potential snitch to bring down Donald Trump. Manafort's dealings (stretching back to 2004) largely predated his flash-in-the-pan stint in 2016 with the campaign. The feds were aware of his foreign dalliances under the scumbag/liar-nObama administration, but chose to do nothing — nichego — until Trump took office.

Put aside partisan politics for a moment and let's be real: For every honest and principled prosecutor working in the courts, there are obsessive Captain Queegs in office searching for political wins strawberries! instead of seeking the truth.

On the opposite side of the aisle, left-leaning criminal justice reformers understand this reality well — and have fought hard to educate the public about the role official misconduct plays in wrongful convictions. Indeed, the National Registry of Exonerations run by the University of Michigan Law School, reported recently that nationwide in 2017, there were a "record-high 84 official misconduct exonerations — or exonerations given because of official misconduct committed by those vested with the power of the law, such as police officers, prosecutors, and governmental officials." That's a stunning 60 percent of exoneration cases last year alone.

Thanks to the warm, fuzzy blanket of prosecutorial immunity, very few of the government actors involved in such misconduct are ever held to account.

That's changing. This week, New York became the first state to create a commission on prosecutorial misconduct. After an intense lobbying battle, dummycrats-Democratic Gov. Andrew Cuomo signed the act this week. The legislative effort was spearheaded by exonerees who personally suffered and survived the whims, falsehoods and power trips of district attorneys who suppressed exculpatory evidence, coerced false confessions and solicited false eyewitness testimony from career jailhouse snitches. I'll have more on the remarkable journey by those leading this historic charge in an upcoming column and CRTV videos.

Meanwhile, in California, prosecutorial misconduct stemming from intentionally withholding or altering evidence is a felony as a result of a law passed in 2016. Proposed by a dummycrats-Democrat, the bill earned bipartisan support after watchdogs exposed the failures of the California courts to report official misconduct as required by statute and the abdication of the California Bar Association to punish wrongdoing.

The iron shield of absolute immunity must be removed from prosecutors. As retired federal judge Frederic Block points out: "Police officers do not have it and they are held accountable in courts of law for their egregious behavior. We wisely do not give our law enforcement officers, or even the President, carte blanche to do as they please; bad prosecutors should similarly be accountable."

Author and lawyer John Grisham similarly noted in The Wall Street Journal in support of the New York prosecutorial misconduct condition: "It is sadly ironic that those we trust to put away criminals are thoroughly unaccountable when their own unethical behavior is discovered. ... The failure to regulate prosecutorial misconduct enables more misconduct and wrongful convictions."

Exoneration super-lawyer Kathleen Zellner, who has won a record $108 million in verdicts and settlements on behalf of the wrongfully accused most recently an added $11 million for Missouri exoneree Ryan Ferguson, put it bluntly:

"Good prosecutors do not need absolute immunity."

Those who commit the crime of wrongful convictions should do the time. On this, all good-faith citizens who believe in equal justice can and should agree.

But to argue that a charge of treason against a president is not a justification for pulling a clearance is a claim both arrogant and absurd.

Again, a security clearance is not a constitutional right.

With 4 million Americans holding top-secret clearances, and this city awash in leaks to the media from present and past intel and security officials, it is time to strip the swamp creatures of their special privileges.

The White House should press upon Congress a policy of automatic cancellation of security clearances, for intelligence and military officers, upon resignation, retirement or severance.

Clearances should be retained only for departing officers who can demonstrate that their “need to know” national secrets remains crucial to our security, not merely advantageous to their pursuit of lucrative jobs in the military-industrial complex.

Officials in the security realm who take clearances with them on leaving office are like House members who retain all the access, perks and privileges of Congress after they step down to earn seven-figure salaries lobbying their former congressional colleagues.

The White House statement of Sarah Huckabee Sanders on scumbag/commie-John Brennan’s loss of his clearances was spot on:

“Any access granted to our nation’s secrets should be in furtherance of national, not personal, interests.

“Mr. scumbag/commie-Brennan has recently leveraged his status as a former high-ranking official with access to highly sensitive information to make a series of unfounded and outrageous allegations – wild outbursts on the Internet and television – about this administration. Mr.scumbag/commie-Brennan’s lying and recent conduct, characterized by increasingly frenzied commentary, is wholly inconsistent with access to the nation’s most closely held secrets, and facilitates the very aim of our adversaries, which is to sow division and chaos.”

Trump is said to be evaluating pulling the security clearances of scumbag-Clapper, ex-FBI Director scumbag-James Comey, former CIA Director Michael Hayden, former Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe, former FBI counterintelligence official Peter Strzok and former FBI lawyer Lisa Page.

This is a good start. Some of these individuals have been fired. Some are under investigation. Some were involved in the FBI’s “get-Trump” cabal to prevent his election and then to abort his presidency.

Some have become talking heads on cable TV, exploiting the credibility of their former titles and offices to undermine an elected president.

Again, they have a First Amendment right to do this. But they should be stripped of their clearances to show the nation that the president is dealing with insiders who have joined the Resistance.

At bottom, the issue is: Who speaks for America?

Is it the mainstream media, the deep state, the permanent government, the city that gave Trump 4 percent of its votes? Or is it that vast slice of Middle America that sent Trump to drain the swamp?

Trump’s enemies, and they are legion, want to see Robert Mueller charge him with collusion with Russia and obstructing the investigation of that collusion. They want to see the dummycrats-Democratic Party take over the House in November, and the Senate, and move on to impeach and remove Trump from office. Then they want to put him where Paul Manafort sits today.

For Trump, a truce or a negotiated peace with these people is never going to happen. But this issue of security clearances is a battlefield where the president cannot lose, if he fights wisely.

Americans sense that these are privileges that should be extended to those who protect us, not perks for former officials to exploit and monetize while they attempt to bring down the commander in chief.

I am an Orthodox rabbi, and I cannot remember the last time I put down a volume of the Talmud to keep abreast of the latest prices on pork bellies. So they have to figure out how to keep the ratings up. They love a murder — oh, how they love a murder! Especially of a young pretty White girl. Based more on the Cohen developments than the Manafort conviction, the media is running with the narrative that we’re now at the beginning of the end of Donald Trump’s presidency. According to the prevailing wisdom, it goes like this: Because Cohen pled guilty to paying off Stormy Daniels for the purposes of influencing the election, and because Cohen worked for Trump, Trump is guilty of breaking campaign finance law and should probably be in an orange jumpsuit by the end of the year. Okay, very few analysts, even in the fake news media, are trying to get us to buy that one, but they do think that Trump is guilty of a crime because his old lawyer – facing years upon years in prison – said he was. None of these stories bother to wonder if Cohen is lying to save his skin and none of them bother to take on the thorny issue of whether or not that payment to Stormy actually WAS a crime in the first place. They just assume so because, well, that makes a better story. The ONLY reason that Stormy count in mixed in with the rest of Cohen’s dirty laundry is because it’s the only thing they can even broadly relate to the president. And you’ll recall, as the media recalls, that all of this is supposed to be related to the president. Right? That’s what Robert Mueller’s witch hunt is all about, correct? Of course it is. So if we’re just talking about some sleazy dudes that Trump happened to do business with, well, that hardly makes for a good show, now does it? The big difference is that the CIA usually has had a lot more leeway in how its informants can operate than a detective looking to bring in a drug kingpin or a killer. The informant — or “asset” — is taking huge risks, as he is pretty much betraying his country. Some countries don’t take kindly to that.
               Well, some new tools came along. The idea was to reduce the risk to assets through the use of an online system. This was seen as a way to get information faster and theoretically keep the asset safer. The assumption was that an agent could get information and still be at his desk working as a cultural attache or some other official cover in the embassy — and not be seen by the opposing side meeting with the informant on numerous occasions.
               Well, U.S. intelligence didn’t set the system up right, and it was compromised. Exactly how, we still don’t know, years after the fact. The most likely explanation appears to be a combination of a poor set-up of the online comms system (initially designed for use in the Middle East) that allowed China to hack into a more secure version of the online system, along with the acts of a Chinese spy in the CIA. One of the other fundamental failures was to not take China’s Great Firewall into account.
               The end result: At least a dozen assets were captured and executed. America lostassets in China, as China increased its power. There’s no sugar-coating the fact that this was a major disaster. But rebuilding networks is not the only challenge facing the intelligence community. It is facing some other challenges, inflicted by Beltway politicians.
               We should remember that during the War on Terror, members of the intelligence community were told that enhanced interrogation techniques were legal and could be used when necessary, only to see thescumbag/liar-nObama administration do an about-face with cover from the likes of rino-John McCain. Even afterscumbag/liar-nObama was gone, rino-McCain then proceeded to help dummycrats-Democrats slime Gina Haspel, now the CIA director, over those interrogation techniques. Such shameful treatment makes agents in the field wonder if politicians will have their back or stab them in it.
               The other problem is that the questions over the misuse of the FISA court have now made it that much harder to rebuild the intelligence community or to get agents to take risks to carry out missions necessary to protect this country’s vital interests, even in the face of the growing threats from Russia and China. The takedown of Iran’s nuclear ambitions is also going to require covert action and intelligence gathering — the type of missions our intelligence agencies are intended to carry out.
               As a result, we now are at a greater risk of being caught by surprise should China make an aggressive move.

Troy Balderson was certified  the winner of Ohio's 12th Congressional District on Friday... denying dummycrats-Democrats the major upset they had sought ahead of the November midterm elections. The Trump-backed Balderson had declared victory over dummycrats-Democrat Danny O’Connor on Aug. 7, but O’Connor had declined to concede because of the small margin. According to the Associated Press, after final absentee and provisional ballots were counted, Balderson defeated O'Connor by 1,680 votes — a mere 0.8-percent margin in a district Trump won by 11 points two years ago. The result fell 520 votes outside the window to trigger an automatic recount. Balderson takes the seat previously held by Republican Pat Tiberi, who resigned in January to take another job. But Balderson and O’Connor will face each other again in November for a full term. The special election was a test of voter sentiment before November's high-stakes general election, which will decide which political party controls the House...

Trump tells Secretary of State Pompeo to cancel North Korea trip

In the meantime I would like to send my warmest regards to Chairman Kim. An editorial in the August issue of the Ontario-based Crescent Internationalmagazine calls terrorism an "integral part of U.S. foreign policy." It decries support by the U.S. and Iran's arch-enemy Saudi Arabia for the Mujahideen-e Khalq Organization (MKO), an exiled Iranian dissident group that seeks to overthrow Iran's government. "With zero support in Iran and its ranks rapidly dwindling, how does MKO finance its programs?" asked Crescent International editor Zafar Bangash. "The Saudi regime funds them lavishly. The terrorists in turn pay tons of money to greedy and corrupt American officials and politicians. Not surprisingly it has become well known that America has the best democracy money can buy. We can add to this another truism: terrorism is an integral part of US foreign policy." Bangash praised Iran's Islamic Revolution in a 2008 op-ed and predicted its expansion to other parts of the Muslim world: "What Iran's Islamic Revolution demonstrates is that, once it succeeds in overthrowing an imposed order, a truly Islamic movement becomes impervious to foreign machinations because it enjoys the support of its people." A Nation of Laws — In Name Only 

by Arnold Ahlert:  While dummycrats-Democrats and their equally clueless allies continue to advocate for the abolition of ICE, another Narrative has blown up in their faces. Leftist outrage arising from the apprehension of illegal alien Joel Arrona-Lara, who was driving his wife to an appointment for a scheduled C-section, was eviscerated by a most “inconvenient” detail: Arrona-Lara is wanted for murder in Mexico.
               And in what is becoming almost routine, the media did its best to cast the arrest in a manner sympathetic to the suspect and his illegal-alien wife. “A newborn is without his father Friday after immigration agents detained the man as he was taking his wife to deliver the baby,” CBS News reported. “After her husband was detained, Venegas drove herself to the hospital and delivered her baby, she told local media. Surveillance video from inside the store shows her crying and distraught,” The Washington Post stated.
               The media also blamed President Donald Trump for the arrest. Newsweek framed it as a “Trump crackdown,” and The New York Times declared that the arrest “quickly provoked outrage and fed into a growing anger toward ICE and the Trump administration’s sweeping immigration policies.”
               The Huffington Post pushed another ICE-bashing angle, quoting Emilio Amaya García, director of the Community Services Center of San Bernardino, who is representing Arrona-Lara. García insisted ICE “not only could … have endangered the life of the mother, but also that of the child, who is a citizen of this country.”
               Which brings us to another reality that angers millions of Americans. Arrona-Lara and his wife, Maria del Carmen Venegas, have lived in America illegally for a dozen years, but their five children are U.S. citizens. That is thanks to the “anchor baby” fiasco.
               According to the Congressional Budget Office, there are approximately 4.5 million anchor babies in the United States under 18 years of age. As Mark Alexander wrote of the misinterpretation of the Constitution to provide for “birthright citizenship” for illegals, “In the very words of the 14th Amendment’s authors … ‘subject to the jurisdiction thereof’ clearly and plainly referred to those who were legal citizens. It did not and never has implied any legal standing for the children of illegal immigrants.”
               In the meantime, a compelling incentive for sneaking into America remains operative. It is an incentive made even more attractive by the legions of leftists and their media apparatchiks who invariably insist the illegal parents of those anchor babies are themselves sacrosanct, because enforcing the law would “break up families.”
               Even an outstanding homicide warrant fails to elicit anything resembling common sense.
               Moreover, in many leftist enclaves, progressives who once insisted the only justifiable arrest of an illegal was the commission of a crime in addition to being in the country illegally, have defined deviancy down. In New York City, a bill passed by Mayor Bill de Blasio and the City Council in 2014 prevents the transfer of an arrested illegal to ICE custody “unless the feds have a warrant, or the suspect is on a terrorism watch list or has committed a violent crime, such as rape or murder,” the New York Post explains.
               Other crimes, even felonies? Irrelevant. New York is hardly an outlier. Few things epitomize the American Left’s contempt for the Rule of Law more than the hundreds of locales around the nation that have declared themselves “sanctuary cities.”
               And when illegals commit crimes, including rape and  murder because these cities refuse to cooperate with ICE? We get progressive rationale in its most bankrupt incarnation: Illegals commit crimes at “lesser rates” than their American counterparts.
               Those who abide the despicable rationale that a certain number of wholly avoidable crimes is “reasonable” have more blood on their hands: University of Iowa student Mollie Tibbetts was allegedly murdered by illegal alien Cristhian Rivera. Elizabeth dinky-Warren paid brief lip service to Tibbetts before attempting to hammer the Trump administration for the same family separation policies practiced by the scumbag/liar-nObama administration.
               Remorse? “Likely coming to a Trump rally near you…. Investigators: Suspect in Mollie Tibbetts death is in custody, subject to immigration detainer,” tweeted AP White House reporter Zeke Miller.
               It’s not just people attempting to sneak across the border who’ve noticed the Left’s utterly twisted worldview. In 2017, more than 700,000 foreigners overstayed their temporary visas,  according to the Department of Homeland Security. DHS framed this as a good thing, because it represents only 1.33 percent of the 52,656,022 people who entered the nation and departed as expected. The agency also noted that another 100,000 likely departed as well, leaving “only” 600,000 who remained here illegally.
               Unfortunately, reality bites: That number is double the 300,000 people apprehended trying to cross the border that same year, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
               And once again, they’re incentivized by reality: archaic computer systems, many of which are 15 years old, make it exceedingly difficult to keep track of overstayers. Bureaucratic inefficiency is also part of the infuriating mix, as there are at least 27 DHS systems and databases that support visa-related investigations, requiring between 10 and 40 passwords to access them, a report by the DHS’s inspector general reveals. Lockouts ranging from minutes to several days also afflict the system. “As a result,” the IG’s office explained, “it may take months for ICE to determine a visa holder’s status and whether that person may pose a national security threat.”
               Bureaucratic ineptitude is abetted by Congress, where members of both political parties have made it clear they prefer a globalist-oriented, open-borders agenda more than protecting national sovereignty and national security. Nothing speaks to that reality more forcefully than “boob bait for the masses” assertions that any immigration reform passed by Congress must be “comprehensive.”
               That’s orchestrated gridlock, courtesy of hopelessly corrupt dummycrats-Democrats and a duplicitous Republican majority that refuses to enact piece-by-piece legislation, relying mostly on the excuse that they can’t get 60 Senate votes they claim are necessary. Yet it was former dummycrats-Democrat Senate Majority leader Harry dinky-Reid who invoked the nuclear option when it suited his party’s interests.
               But Republicans won’t serve America’s interests by invoking the nuclear option to end the de facto invasion of our nation?
               While Congress intentionally dithers, thousands more cross the border, or overstay their visas. More than 20 illegal-alien children per day skip deportation hearings, adding to the more than 200,000 Unaccompanied Alien Children (UACs) that have been released in America, the overwhelming majority of which will remain here illegally.
               Nonetheless, according to the San Bernardino Sun, it’s ICE that “faces questions” for detaining a suspected murderer. And according to a soulless White House reporter, the murder of another innocent American is nothing more than a rallying cry for “deplorables.”
               The endgame? An exceptional America that has been a magnet for those fleeing dysfunctional and corrupt countries becomes more like those countries — all while shameless Democrats cheer the “fundamental transformation” and spineless Republicans sit on their hands.
               Decent Americans? Forced to cope with the damning reality that we are becoming a nation of laws — in name only.

Time for Sessions to Leave DOJ, Senior Senate Leaders Say

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA), both long-time  colleagues of Sessions, told reporters Thursday that although Sessions has served the Justice Department with distinction, his lack of faith in the president and vice versa, has now become a distraction to the administration. Graham, who spoke to SaraACarter.com on Thursday afternoon, noted that Sessions has served with distinction but Trump has the right to replace him as the relationship between the two is in disrepair. “I think this president, like every other president, has the right to pick cabinet members that he feels comfortable with, as long as they are qualified and competent. To suggest that President Trump is stuck with one attorney general for his eight years, or four years, is just not right,” said Graham. “Jeff Sessions is a fine man. There will come a day, I believe, when President Trump will want somebody new. The working relationship is strained, that happens on occasion and I support the president’s right to have a cabinet of his choosing.” Tensions reached a boiling point Thursday after  Sessions shot back at the president’s comments earlier that morning in an interview with Fox and Friend’s Ainsley Earhardt, that he “never took control of the Justice Department.”...

The Pastor is Not the Only U.S. Hostage in Turkey

This month, the United States not only issued Global Magnitsky sanctions against two Turkish ministers... it also doubled tariffs on steel and aluminum from Turkey, sending the lira into freefall. These measures were Washington’s official response to Ankara’s imprisonment of North Carolina pastor Andrew Brunson for almost two years under farcical charges. Both President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence have incessantly invoked Turkey’s treatment of the pastor, notably when announcing the punitive measures. On Wednesday, National Security Advisor John Bolton went a step further,  saying that the diplomatic crisis “could be over instantly” if Turkey “did the right thing as a NATO ally…and release pastor Brunson without condition.” All of this has left the Turkish public wondering how the case of a single cleric merited a showdown between two NATO allies. The White House’s strategy to free Brunson and resolve the crisis has failed in part because it singles out the faith leader. In fact, Brunson is only one of many pawns in Erdogan’s “hostage diplomacy,” a strategy of imprisoning Western nationals to extract diplomatic concessions. Besides Brunson, the Turkish president’s victims include jailed NASA physicist Serkan Golge as well as chemistry professor Ismail Kul, whose trial continues in Turkey. Ankara has also put behind bars three Turkish employees of the U.S. mission in Turkey— more targets of Erdogan’s anti-American campaign. The double standard in U.S. policy is not lost on the victims. For both moral and strategic reasons, Washington needs to treat all American victims of hostage-taking as equal priorities, and show that it stands behind all its citizens and diplomatic staff...

The peninsula hosts more than 10,000 U.S. military personnel and approximately 72 F-15 fighter jets at its Al Udeid military base... In this turbulent part of the world, alliances, like enmities, can be treacherous. In March, the Foreign Affairs Committee of the US House of Representatives was already looking at four alternatives that could become the military headquarters when the Al Udeid contract with Qatar will expire in 2023. After "closely observing its Qatar's financial and banking system due to fears of support for terrorist organisations and individuals associated with them," Washington apparently decided it had to rethink Al Udeid and its Qatari "allies." Enter Turkey. The Qataris, not knowing that their grandchildren would one day be the best strategic allies of their Ottoman colonialists' grandchildren, fought the Ottomans to gain their independence in 1915, thereby ending the 44-year-long Ottoman rule in the peninsula. Independence had come at last. It lasted for about a year, until 1916, when Qatar became a British protectorate until 1971. Today, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's Turkey is Qatar's best ally. This alliance is structured on common ideology featuring pro-Hamas, pro-Muslim Brotherhood Islamism.  Ahmed Charai, in an article for The National Interest, has forcefully reminded the world that: "As Qatar faces international pressure to stop harboring senior Muslim Brotherhood figures, there are clear indications that it will facilitate their migration to Turkey. So among the urgent challenges for the U.S. allies to address is the question of how to weaken this budding alliance."  Charai has a point. Profiles of Valor: Air Force Sgt. John Chapman 

by Publius:  It was a long time coming, but President Donald Trump awarded a posthumous Medal of Honor to Air Force Sgt. John Chapman, who sacrificed himself on a mountainside in Afghanistan in 2002 to save more than 20 of his fellow service members. Chapman’s widow received the award on her late husband’s behalf, and he is now the first Airman to receive the Medal since the Vietnam War.

             His citation reads: Technical Sergeant John A. Chapman distinguished himself by extraordinary heroism as an Air Force Special Tactics Combat Controller, attached to a Navy Sea, Air, and Land (SEAL) Team conducting reconnaissance operations in Takur Ghar, Afghanistan, on March 4, 2002. During insertion, the team’s helicopter was ambushed causing a teammate to fall into an entrenched group of enemy combatants below. Sergeant Chapman and the team voluntarily reinserted onto the snow-capped mountain, into the heart of a known enemy stronghold to rescue one of their own. Without regard for his own safety, Sergeant Chapman immediately engaged, moving in the direction of the closest enemy position despite coming under heavy fire from multiple directions. He fearlessly charged an enemy bunker, up a steep incline in thigh-deep snow and into hostile fire, directly engaging the enemy. Upon reaching the bunker, Sergeant Chapman assaulted and cleared the position, killing all enemy occupants. With complete disregard for his own life, Sergeant Chapman deliberately moved from cover only 12 meters from the enemy, and exposed himself once again to attack a second bunker, from which an emplaced machine gun was firing on his team. During this assault from an exposed position directly in the line of intense fire, Sergeant Chapman was struck and injured by enemy fire. Despite severe, mortal wounds, he continued to fight relentlessly, sustaining a violent engagement with multiple enemy personnel before making the ultimate sacrifice. By his heroic actions and extraordinary valor, sacrificing his life for the lives of his teammates, Technical Sergeant Chapman upheld the highest traditions of military service and reflected great credit upon himself and the United States Air Force.
               Military.com elaborates, “In all, Chapman sustained nine wounds, seven of which were nonfatal, according to his autopsy report. A medical examiner concluded he lived and fought through gunshot wounds to his thigh, heel, calf and torso, which pierced his liver. He had a broken nose and other facial wounds, suggesting he engaged in hand-to-hand combat in close quarters. The final fatal shots likely came from a PKM machine gun, officials said.”
               In May, we relayed the story of Navy SEAL Britt Slabinski, who received the Medal for actions in the same battle. Actions during that battle were the subject of some controversy because Chapman was presumed dead and left behind only to revive and continue fighting. We believe each American Patriot involved in this battle acted with honor and bravery given the circumstances, and we’re pleased to see both Slabinski and Chapman awarded with our nation’s highest honor.

Mueller Putting the ‘Squeeze’ on Trump Jr.

{ westernjournal.com } ~ In the minds of anti-Trump liberals, the special counsel investigation led by Robert Mueller just scored a couple of “wins” with regard to the guilty verdicts... for former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort and a guilty plea by former Trump attorney Michael Cohen. This, even as neither of those have much of anything to do with President Donald Trump or his 2016 campaign. Manafort’s crimes are related to bank and tax fraud from several years ago, and the supposed “campaign finance violations” Cohen pleaded guilty to are in dispute as actually even occurring, much less being a “crime” rising to the impeachable offense level. Regardless, some liberals insist that Mueller is continuing to close in on the ultimate goal of digging up impeachable trouble for Trump, and anonymous sources have claimed that recent developments have the president “rattled,” particularly a suspicion that Mueller is “squeezing” the president’s eldest son, Donald Trump, Jr. That assertion came in an anonymously-sourced article by Gabriel Sherman of Vanity Fair, which painted the picture of an enraged and “extremely frustrated” President Trump in recent days and weeks. Trump has supposedly grown to doubt the loyalty of White House counsel Don McGahn, a feeling made worse by recent articles in The New York Times and The Washington Post detailing McGahn’s cooperation with Mueller’s investigation, allegedly even sitting for more than 30 hours of interviews with “extensive notes” of his countless interactions with the president...

dummycrats-Dems Use Cohen to Try Obstructing Kavanaugh Hearings 

by Thomas Gallatin:  In their latest obstructionist play, Senate dummycrats-Democrats have called for postponing confirmation hearings for President Donald Trump’s Supreme Court nominee, Brett Kavanaugh. In a speech on the Senate floor on Wednesday, Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) contended that the recent plea deal made by Trump’s former personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, is an indictment against the president. Based solely on Cohen’s allegation, Schumer argued that Trump is “an unindicted co-conspirator of a federal crime” and thus he should not get to make “a lifetime appointment to the Supreme Court” because the Court “may someday soon determine the extent of the president’s legal jeopardy.” Conveniently fordummycrats- Democrats, scumbag/clown-Schumer declared, “The Senate Judiciary Committee should immediately pause the consideration of the Kavanaugh nomination.”

              dummycrats-Democrats are clearly seeking to exploit this as a political tool for the coming midterms. Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) echoed scumbag/clown-Schumer’s talking points, insisting that Kavanaugh’s nomination was “tainted with illegality.” And the always hyperbolic dummycrats-Democrat senator from New Jersey, Cory Booker, demanded that Kavanaugh’s confirmation process be halted until Robert Mueller’s investigation is concluded because of “the matter of the president being credibly implicated, or alleged to be a criminal co-conspirator” in crimes related to campaign-finance law. Booker, after all, would like to make his own appointment after 2020.
               It’s almost comical how predictable thedummycrats- Democrats are in so quickly jumping off their Trump/Russia collusion conspiracy just as soon as the opportunity to use another completely unrelated crime presented itself. It’s their “get Trump at all costs” policy. And yet in this instance, Schumer’s argument finds no support in historic precedent. Back in 1998, while the House was proceeding with impeachment hearings against liar-Bill Clinton, the Senate had no qualms about confirming his nominee, Sonia Sotomayor, to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
               Like we mentioned earlier, dummycrats-Democrats’ rhetoric is merely intended as a means of pandering to their political base for the midterm elections, as dummycrats-Democrats know full well they won’t be able to stop the confirmation hearings.

$675 billion Pentagon spending bill approved by the Senate

The proposal represents the biggest hike in defense funding in about 15 years, but now must be reconciled by a conference committee with a similar $675 billion bill passed by the House in June. The Senate bill was passed as part of a minibus appropriations bill that included the departments of Education, Labor, and Health and Human Services. Congress has about a month to negotiate a final compromise on appropriations, vote on it and send it to President Trump for his signature before the end of the fiscal year on Sept. 30. The U.S. action was in response to the house arrest of American Pastor Andrew Brunson, on concocted charges of terrorism by the Turkish authorities. The megalomaniac Erdogan has imprisoned Pastor Brunson in retaliation for the U.S. refusal to extradite Pennsylvania-based Mohammed Fethullah Gulen, a Turkish religious figure, imam, and writer, who is the founder of the worldwide Gulen Hizmet movement. Erdogan blames his now bitter rival Fethullah Gulen of instigating the 2016 attempted coup in Turkey. Also, the administration imposed export restrictions against Russia in response to Moscow’s use of a nerve agent to poison a former Russian spy in Britain, sending the Russian currency, the Ruble, tumbling to a two-year low. But the Islamic Republic of Iran poses the most potent threat to American interests, and to the security of U.S. allies in the Middle East - and Trump knows it. Cohen's plea deal is prosecutor's attempt to set up Trump

Why was Michael Cohen investigated?... Because the “Steele dossier” had him making secret trips to meet with Russians that never happened, so his business dealings got a thorough scrubbing and, in the process, he fell into the Paul Manafort bin reserved by the special counsel for squeezing until the juice comes out. We are back to 1998 all over again, with presidents and candidates covering up their alleged marital misdeeds and prosecutors trying to turn legal acts into illegal ones by inventing new crimes. The plot to get President Trump out of office thickens, as Cohen obviously was his own mini crime syndicate and decided that his betrayals meant he would be better served turning on his old boss to cut the best deal with prosecutors he could rather than holding out and getting the full Manafort treatment. That was clear the minute he hired attorney Lanny Davis, who does not try cases and did past work for liar-Hillary Clinton. Cohen had recorded his client, trying to entrap him, sold information about Trump to corporations for millions of dollars while acting as his lawyer, and did not pay taxes on millions. The sweetener for the prosecutors, of course, was getting Cohen to plead guilty to campaign violations that were not campaign violations. Money paid to people who come out of the woodwork and shake down people under threat of revealing bad sexual stories are not legitimate campaign expenditures. They are personal expenditures. That is true for both candidates we like and candidates we do not. Just imagine if candidates used campaign funds instead of their own money to pay folks like Stormy Daniels to keep quiet about affairs. They would get indicted for misuse of campaign funds for personal purposes and for tax evasion. Paying for nondisclosure agreements for perfectly legal activities is not a crime, not a campaign contribution as commonly understood or ruled upon by the Federal Election Commission. Nor did they understand why scumbag- Durbin would prefer to delay Kavanaugh’s confirmation hearings until after the November elections. Rather than asking about the Constitutional basis for delaying the confirmation, MSNBC host Mika Brzezinski asked a much more subjective question: “Do you think that’s fair?” The MSNBC panel let scumbag-Durbin say that “we are on the threshold of a constitutional crisis.” But there has been no indictment, subpoena, impeachment or vote for removal of President Trump. The panel didn’t ask whether scumbag- Durbin is more interested in Kavanaugh’s confirmation than supporting the Constitution’s explicit powers of the presidency under Article II of the Constitution granted to Trump...

Identity politics: It's all today's Democrats have

{ wnd.com } ~ No offense, my dummycrats-Democratic friends, but only in the modern dummycrats-Democratic Party could a dummycrats-Democratic icon such as Andrew Cuomo fearlessly and publicly claim that America “was never that great.” Just two decades ago, fewdummycrats-Democrats would dare make that statement.

Lest you fall for the lie that this was merely a one-off hyperbole, notice the full range of Cuomo’s intentional remarks.

“We’re not going to make America great again,” said the New York governor. “It was never that great. We have not reached greatness. We will reach greatness when every American is fully engaged. We will reach greatness when discrimination and stereotyping against women, 51 percent of our population, is gone and every woman’s full potential is realized and unleashed and every woman is making her full contribution.”

Later, realizing that Cuomo had stepped in it, his press secretary, Dani Lever, scrambled to salvage his disastrous utterance. “The governor believes America is great and that her full greatness will be fully realized when every man, woman, and child has full equality,” she said in a statement. “America has not yet reached its maximum potential.” Lever continued: “When the president speaks about making America great again – going back in time – he ignores the pain so many endured and that we suffered from slavery, discrimination, segregation, sexism and marginalized women’s contributions. The governor believes that when everyone is fully included and everyone is contributing to their maximum potential, that is when America will achieve maximum greatness.”

Notice that Lever admitted that Cuomo was responding directly to the Trump slogan, “Make America Great Again.” This slogan inherently recognizes that America has been great and Trump wants to restore all of its greatness. Cuomo intended to contradict that assumption, which is why he said America has never been that great. He didn’t say or mean, as Lever insisted, that America used to be great but has fallen and that we need to restore it. If that were the case, he wouldn’t have chosen Trump’s slogan as a point of attack, because he would have agreed with it. No, Cuomo was quite clear. In his view and that of so many on the left, America has never been that great.

Sadly, in the leftist worldview, it will never be that great. No matter how many reforms are implemented, no matter how much blood is spilled, no matter how many constitutional amendments are ratified to extend legal equality and equal opportunity to all Americans, it will never be enough for the left, because accusing conservatives of hatred, intolerance, bigotry and heartlessness is about all they have. But it’s not all they believe and all they stand for.

Yes, many conservative analysts are correct that over the past two decades, identity politics has become dominant in the dummycrats-Democratic Party, but identity politics is not what really animates its leftist leaders. Their divisive rhetoric is more a calculated electoral tactic to agitate minorities against Republicans than a deeply held belief.

You can’t convince me that dummycrats-Democratic Party leaders truly believe that half the nation – the half that disagrees with them politically – is racist, bigoted, sexist, homophobic and the rest of the poisonous adjectival litany with which they routinely smear us. But it certainly keeps them competitive when their policies don’t.

They say they champion women and African-Americans, but do they really respect them? Do they really treat them all with equal dignity? Just watch what happens when a member of either group dissents from their leftist orthodoxy. The person is treated, not just by black and female liberals but by preening white heterosexual liberals, as inauthentic – as an Uncle Tom or a traitors to his or her race or gender. They ostracize the person as a subhuman heretic whose race or gender counts for nothing if he or she defies the leftist cause.

It is easy for Cuomo to say America “was never that great,” because he and his leftist soul mates believe it. It rolls off their tongues because they reject so much of the American idea. That is why candidate Barack scumbag/liar-nObama could proudly declare his intention to fundamentally transform America. That is why Michelle scumbag/liar-nObama, witnessing her husband’s electoral success, could say, “For the first time in my adult life, I am proud of my country.”

For Cuomo and the left, the discontentment about America isn’t just or even mostly about the plight of minorities. It is about America’s founding principles.

Liberals don’t embrace the Constitution and the rule of law in the same way conservatives do. They pay lip service to the separation of powers and pretend that Donald Trump is usurping authority when he makes derogatory comments about members of the media whose sole reason for existence is to attack him. But they cheered Presidentscumbag/liar-nObama’s lawless executive power grabs, and they support appellate judges who arrogate to themselves the prerogatives of super-legislators. They treat the cherished principles of federalism and states’ rights as historical mistakes or fictions.

And despite their denials, the dummycrats-Democratic Party has come to fully embrace socialism. Unsurprisingly, a decisive majority of dummycrats-Democrats prefer socialism over capitalism, according to a recent Gallup poll.

When Cuomo’s defenders claim he was only referring to gender discrimination and other forms of bigotry when he proudly denied America’s historical greatness, they’re dissembling. The dummycrats-Democratic Party and many of its grass-roots supporters reject the American idea itself; it’s not just that it was originally tainted by the sin and stain of slavery. That’s why they favor open borders and amnesty for the millions of immigrants who are here illegally. If they believed America is unique, they would believe its uniqueness is worth preserving and support legal and controlled immigration and assimilation of immigrants into the unique American fabric.

But even with the damaging revelation that the majority ofdummycrats-Democratic voters heart socialism, the party honchos still won’t be able to openly embrace it – because this is anathema to a majority of Americans.

In view of its historical track record of abject failure, there is no way dummycrats-Democrats can defend socialism on the merits, which is why they will continue to defame their political opponents as being racist, sexist and multi-phobic. It’s what modern dummycrats-Democrats are; it’s what they do; it’s all they’ve got.

Mueller and the Media Represent the Ancien Régime

{ spectator.org } ~ The Mueller probe, with its indictments of Trump associates for offenses unrelated to its ostensible mandate, combined with mendacious media coverage of President Trump... is an obvious attempt to restore the old order that the electorate rejected in 2016. It seeks to annul the will of the voters and return us to the incipient authoritarianism that germinated during the scumbag/liar-nObama era, and which the ruling class expected to blossom under liar-Clinton. The bureaucrats who support the restoration of Beltway despotism call themselves public servants, yet despise the public. The politicians who support it call themselves dummycrats-Democrats, yet despise democracy. The most important fact to absorb about all this is counterintuitive: The primary target isn’t really the President. Mueller and his apologists know Trump is the voice of a nationwide rebellion against their authority, and realize that the threat can’t be neutralized until he is silenced. The end game is to crush what they see as a peasant’s revolt. Mueller’s function is to provide a legal pretext for removing the President from office. The role of the media is to misrepresent everything he does in order to trick independent voters into giving the dummycrats-Democrats a majority in the House. This will prevent Trump from continuing to act on his 2016 mandate. The dummycrats-Democrats will  impeach the President if they gain a majority in the House, regardless of their chances of securing a conviction in the Senate. Impeachment will effectively shut down his Presidency either way. Fighting it would involve so much White House time that virtually nothing else would get done. And this is an important dummycrats-Democratic goal. Moreover, if Senate Republicans are as weak-kneed as they were in 1974, a conviction may not be necessary to get Trump out of the White House. Graham: ‘Very Likely’ Trump Fires Sessions After Midterms

{ spectator.org } ~ At a conference examining California’s housing crisis, one of the more liberal audience members expressed her frustration at those of us who even talked about free markets... I don’t recall her exact words, but the mere mention of such ideas were a non-starter. Apparently, such notions shouldn’t be raised in polite company given what they mean for the poor and disenfranchised. Couldn’t we just get back to discussing government regulations and programs? That comment summarized the problem with discussing public policy in a state where such ideas are considered arcane. The notion that people should be free to pursue their own lives, with only minimal interference and subsidy from the government, is never on the table. The assumption, in the Legislature, among policymakers and in local government, is that private actors would leave a path of death and destruction if the government didn’t try to manage everything. That the government itself always leaves destruction in its wake — not only within its own bureaucracies but within the industries it controls — simply is more evidence that government needs even more power. We’re free to talk about tweaking current rules and regulations, but never to propose reducing or eliminating them. Government knows best, even when government employees are caught repeatedly enriching themselves at our expense. And, of course, there’s virtually no area of our lives — outside our sexual behavior and reproductive “choices” — that should be free from state interference. It should be no surprise, then, that the libertarian Cato Institute’s latest “Freedom in the 50 States” report finds California nearly at the bottom, in 48th place. New York and Hawaii were worse, but California has been remarkably consistent in its ranking over the past 16 years...

Social Security Fails

You may not believe that, but it's a fact.

That FICA money taken from your paycheck was not saved for you in a "trust fund." Politicians misled us. They spent every penny the moment it came in.

This started as soon as they created Social Security. They assumed that FICA payments from young workers would cover the cost of sending checks to older people. After all, at the time, most Americans died before they reached 65.

Now, however, people keep living longer. There just aren't enough young people to cover my Social Security checks.

So Social Security is going broke. This year, the program went into the red for the first time.

Presidents routinely promise to fix this problem.

George W. Bush said he'd "strengthen and save" Social Security. Barack scumbag/liar-nObama said he'd "safeguard" it, and Donald Trump said that he'll "save" it.

But none has done anything to save it.

"There is a plan out there to save it, but it requires some tough choices," says Heritage Foundation budget analyst Romina Boccia.

Heritage proposes cutting payments to rich people and raising the retirement age to 70.

Good luck with that. Seniors vote. Most vote against politicians who suggest cutting benefits.

This summer, interviewing people for my new video about Social Security's coming bankruptcy, was the first time I had heard the majority of such a group say they were aware there is a problem. One said, "We're already at a trillion dollars deficit ... It's almost like a big Ponzi scheme."

Actually, more like a pyramid scheme. Ponzi schemes secretly take your money. But the Social Security trick is written into the law -- there for anyone who bothers to look.

Social Security isn't the only hard choice ahead of us. Medicare will run out of money in just eight years. At that point, benefits will automatically be cut. Social Security hits its wall in 15 years.

Amazingly, as we approach this disaster, dummycrats-Democrats say -- spend even more.

Sen. Elizabeth dinky-Warren, D-Mass., proudly announced, "Nearly every dummycrats-Democrat in the United States Senate has voted in favor of expanding Social Security."

How would they pay for it? "Raise taxes on the wealthy!" is the usual answer.

I tried that on Boccia: "Just raise taxes on the rich!"

"There isn't enough money, even that the rich would have," she countered, "to pay for the $200 trillion in unfunded liabilities."

One partial solution proposed by Heritage and others is to let younger workers put some of their Social Security money into their own personal retirement accounts.

"Imagine being able to own and control your own retirement dollars," urged Boccia, with genuine excitement. "You could invest it in businesses, grow the economy, whatever rocks your boat."

If history is any guide, private accounts would almost certainly pay retirees more than Social Security will ever pay.

"Even a conservative portfolio of stocks and bonds that got you about a 5 percent annual return, you would make many times more," said Boccia.

She's right. Money in government hands just sits there or gets spent wastefully; it's rarely invested wisely.

Private accounts have been tried in a few countries. In Chile, the investment they created helped make Chile the richest country in Latin America. Before, Chile was poorer than most.

Yet even after that success, leftists in South America hold street protests against private accounts. They're angry because capitalists get a slice of the pie.

I told Boccia that I couldn't understand why people in Chile don't loudly cheer private accounts because of the wealth they'd created.

"We lack gratitude," she replied, "for what the free market provides. That is difficult to wrap your head around. It's easy to think, 'Here is the government. This is where I go.'"

But eventually, even governments run out of other people's money.

Like most American politicians, Donald Trump campaigned saying, "I'm not going to cut Social Security ... not going to cut Medicare."

He and other politicians pretend they're protecting people's futures, but they are not. They're ignoring the inevitable.

Better to fix old-age programs now -- rather than have them suddenly go bankrupt later.

Not so fast. As conservative talk radio star Mark Levin made clear Tuesday, through an interview with a former Federal Elections Commission chairman, the Cohen plea bargain is not exactly the slam dunk against Trump that it’s being portrayed by the mainstream media. Cohen agreed to plead guilty to eight criminal counts of tax evasion (five counts), making a false statement to a financial institution (one count), and campaign finance violations (two counts), according to The Wall Street Journal. It’s the campaign finance charges that have liberals going bananas. But Cohen only pleaded to them, Levin said, to avoid prosecution on even more charges. “Prosecutors and Cohen cut a deal. It’s a plea bargain,” Levin said, according to Conservative Review. “It’s not a precedent. … They obviously had more on Michael Cohen, or Michael Cohen wouldn’t have cut a deal.” More to the point, Levin said, Cohen’s guilty plea to campaign finance charges don’t mean there was an actual violation of the law...

Trump's Troubles Put in Perspective 

by Mark Alexander:  Donald Trump’s troubles are the trouble with Donald Trump. He is a package deal, and part of the deal is ugly. This is not a revelation, but it certainly does provide plenty of obstructionist fodder for dummycrats-Democrat Party hacks and their Leftmedia conglomerate.

             More on that in a minute, but first…Those of us who supported his election over liar-Hillary Clinton had no illusion that Trump had the character of George Washington or Ronald Reagan. But as Nate Jackson noted yesterday, Trump’s considerable character issues were “baked into the 2016 election cake.” We knew what we were getting. It is unfortunate that Republicans have to defend a current president by comparing his failings to past   dummycrats-Democrat presidents, but that is the degraded reality of contemporary politics.
               Frankly, I have been surprised at how effective Trump has been as, to put it mildly, an “unconventional president.” A review of his first year MAGA accomplishments, and adding numerous legislative, judicial, regulatory, and economic accomplishments thus far in his second year, is remarkable. No conventional president has done more to turn the country back toward Liberty in his first 18 months in office than Donald Trump.
               Writing recently about the epidemic of Trump Derangement Syndrome afflicting the Left, I noted the reason why: “The day Trump arrived in DC, he dropped a bomb on the status quo in Congress and its special interests. He dropped a bomb on the regulatory behemoths and their bureaucratic bottlenecks. He dropped a bomb on the trade and national security institutions and alliances that failed miserably over the previous eight years. And he dropped a bomb on all the pundits and mainstream media outlets.”
               Trump’s “style” has caused more political consternation resulting in more uncivil discourse than any president in the last century. But as seasoned political observer Walter Williams notes, sometimes men of high character make bad presidents, while sometimes men of low character make good presidents.
               Enter the Russia collusion setup — orchestrated by former CIA Director scumbag/commie-John Brennan, former FBI Director scumbag-James Comey and, of course, liar-Hillary Clinton’s campaign.
                scumbag-Comey, by his own admission, released details of the fake Russian dossier (which became a Trump investigation centerpiece based on a questionable FISA memo) in order to prompt the appointment of a special prosecutor. That was a masterful play to keep Trump on the ropes through the 2018 midterms.
               It was clear that the appointment of Robert Mueller and his team of liar-Clintonistas would open up the proverbial “can of worms” in regard to all things Trump, and those connected to him, despite the fact there has been and likely will be no evidence of Russian collusion. To date, Mueller has not indicated any investigation into the genuine 2016 election collusion between Team liar-Clinton and the Russians to set Trump up for a takedown.
               And that brings us to this week, which featured the convictions of Trump associates Paul Manafort and Michael Cohen. Nothing in those convictions and plea deals have anything to do with “Russian collusion,” but again, the worms are out, and in the case of Cohen, so much for “lawyer-client privilege.”
               For starters, all the analysis from Right and Left notwithstanding, the biggest concern for Trump right now is not what Manafort and Cohen have been convicted of thus far. Manafort has an upcoming trial that pertains to his past dealings with Russian companies. But a much greater threat to Trump is what Cohen has yet to tell prosecutors about Trump. As his former attorney, Cohen knows where, on Trump’s behalf, he hid corporate and personal legal skeletons.
               As for the current charges against Cohen related to “hush money” paid to a couple of women with whom Trump had some salacious involvement long ago, the Left is trying to spin that into “high crimes and misdemeanors” for a faux impeachment proceeding.
               Trump insists, of course, that he has broken no laws. “Michael Cohen plead guilty to two counts of campaign finance violations that are not a crime. … The only thing that I have done wrong is to win an election that was expected to be won by Crooked liar-Hillary Clinton and the dummycrats-Democrats.”
               In regard to these latest Trump troubles uncovered by Mueller, my money is on the most cogent analysis from dummycrats-Democrat Harvard law professor Alan Dershowitz.
               On the hush money, Dershowitz concluded: If Mr. Trump the candidate contributed several hundred thousand dollars to his own campaign to pay hush money to women who were either truthfully or falsely alleging against him, that is not a crime. The candidate can contribute as much as he wants. … The election laws are a morass of misdemeanors, felonies, crimes, non-crimes, with exceptions, so you have to get over the legal barrier first. Then you have to get over the credibility barrier. The only evidence that the president did anything that might be unlawful even arguably comes from a man who has admitted to be a liar, had a lawyer-client privilege with the president. There are a lot of barriers to what Cohen said … in court. Remember, there has been no indictment, grand jury, only a statement, an elocution, by a man who has admitted to criminal conduct. So we are far away from impeachable offense or a criminal offense against the president.
               On Trump’s asking Cohen to make the payments: Cohen would be acting for Trump as Trump’s representative, and the campaign contribution would be lawful as long as [the candidate] paid for it. … So the prosecutor is in a “catch-22.” If he believes Cohen, that the president directed him to do it, then it’s not a crime at all. If he doesn’t believe Cohen, then Cohen has committed the crime. The legal pundits who are saying that if Cohen admits a crime, that makes Trump and “un-indicted co-conspirator,” they are just wrong as a matter of basic criminal law.
               Asked by Bret Baier why Cohen would plead guilty to this campaign finance violation: This was an add-on. They had him dead to rights on the medallions, on the taxes — they threw this in … in order to give him an opportunity to say something negative about Donald Trump. Look, they’re not interested in Cohen, they’re interested in Trump. Judge Ellis said that in the Manafort case. So they threw in the campaign contribution law in order to find a connection to Trump. Medallions have no connection to Trump. Taxes have no connection to Trump. This is the only alleged crime that has a connection to Trump.
               Regarding absurd comparisons to Watergate, Dershowitz declared: It’s not even a close question. That is so over the top. It’s just not a crime to contribute to your own campaign. … I challenge any of those saying it’s a crime to find anything in criminal law that would make it a crime for a [candidate] to pay someone [to benefit] his own election. It’s not against the law. … The Rule of Law requires that when you say something is a crime, show me the statute. There is no statute that would make that a crime. It might be a misdemeanor for the campaign to fail to report that payment, but that would be the campaign, not the candidate.“
               And on the Left’s political impeachment rhetoric: If you are talking about high crimes and misdemeanors, that’s absurd. That’s not the kind of thing the Framers had in mind. … You need a high crime and misdemeanor. Every campaign has violated some technical election law. Thedummycrats-Democrats are going to run on "Give us the House and we’ll impeach the president.” … They’re not going to get close on an impeachment track. They are not going to find the crime. … The candidate is entitled to contribute a million dollars to his own campaign.
               Predictably the dummycrats-Democrats are using the latest Trump troubles to insist a delay in the confirmation hearings for U.S. Court of Appeals Judge Brett Kavanaugh, an outstanding choice to replace Justice Anthony Kennedy.
               Moving on, we will see what else Cohen has to say.

Trump had made the comments in a wide-ranging interview with “Fox & Friends.” The president, on the heels of the first guilty verdict from a trial connected to Special Counsel Robert Mueller's probe, continued to fume over Sessions' recusal from the Russia investigation. "Jeff Sessions never took control of the Justice Department, and it's a sort of an incredible thing," Trump claimed.  But Sessions countered in a written statement: “I took control of the Department of Justice the day I was sworn in, which is why we have had unprecedented success at effectuating the President’s agenda—one that protects the safety and security rights of the American people, reduces violent crime, enforces our immigration laws, promotes economic growth, and advances religious liberty.”...

Bolton revealed that Russia’s president Vladimir Putin had told president Trump he would be content if Iranian regular and irregular forces would be withdrawn from Syria but that he was not able “to do it himself.” Trump’s envoy suggested the U.S. would work together with the Russian military to achieve the goal of a complete Iranian withdrawal from Syria and said he would bring up the issue with his Russian counterpart Nikolai Patrushev during a meeting in Geneva on Wednesday. “So the point was that perhaps joint US-Russian efforts might be sufficient. Inspector Phil Key, of Greater Manchester Police, said: "Abdul Rauf is a nasty, bully of a man who beat the children in his classes until it became normalised. The children were left cowering and holding onto their ears, their arms and their legs after he repeatedly used violence as a punishment. This Just In: Russian Election Meddling Never Ended 

by Jordan Candler:  On Tuesday, news reports emerged wherein Russian hackers are accused anew of meddling in U.S. elections. This time, the chief targets of the Kremlin’s machinations are Republican organizations.

             As The New York Times reports, “Microsoft Corporation said that it detected and seized websites that were created in recent weeks by hackers linked to the Russian unit formerly known as the G.R.U. The sites appeared meant to trick people into thinking they were clicking through links managed by the Hudson Institute and the International Republican Institute, but were secretly redirected to web pages created by the hackers to steal passwords and other credentials. Microsoft also found websites imitating the United States Senate, but not specific Senate offices or political campaigns.”
               Of course, no one should be flabbergasted by Russia’s perpetual meddling. The Times correctly points out that “the shift to attacking conservative think tanks underscores the Russian intelligence agency’s goals: to disrupt any institutions challenging Moscow and President Vladimir V. Putin of Russia.” Case in point: The Wall Street Journal reports, “The Russian hacking group has launched a number of attempted digital intrusions in recent months, Microsoft said. Missouri Democrat Sen. Claire McCaskill last month disclosed that her office had been a target of a phishing scam.” In other words, both dummycrats-Democrats and Republicans are prey.
               However, not everyone wants you to think so. Whereas the Times headline was clearly unambiguous — "New Russian Hacking Targeted Republican Groups, Microsoft Says" — The Washington Post was far more insinuating: “Microsoft says it has found a Russian operation targeting U.S. political institutions.” “Republican Groups,” “U.S. political institutions” — same unequivocal meaning, right?
               According to Hudson Institute spokesman David Tell, “We are not surprised by this. There can’t be an even peripherally involved office in politics in Washington that does not routinely get emails ending in .ru with weird attachments in them.” And according to International Republican Institute President Daniel Twining, “It is clearly designed to sow confusion, conflict and fear among those who criticize Mr. Putin’s authoritarian regime.” For his part, Microsoft President Brad Smith stated, “These attacks are seeking to disrupt and divide. There is an asymmetric risk here for democratic societies. The kind of attacks we see from authoritarian regimes are seeking to fracture and splinter groups in our society.”
               All of these points should lead to the same conclusion: Whatever “collusion” narrative the Left keeps chasing, the fact of the matter is that Russia is willing and able to interfere wherever, whenever, and with whomever it deems necessary. Our bickering over unsubstantiated “collusion” has the Russians grabbing the popcorn in amusement as they watch their master plan come to fruition.
               As the Washington Examiner’s Tom Rogan writes, a  counter punch is warranted: “While the U.S. government has condemned those attacks as a grievous assault on democracy, it has not imposed adequate consequences for them. These latest attacks mean U.S. deterrent credibility is not-so-slowly perishing. In turn, Russia has added reason to believe it can conduct aggressive operations in other areas. Putin must be educated to his error.”

Manafort Juror Speaks Out

The Leftmedia's Suicidal Assassination of Trump

Not only is over 90% of all media coverage of President Donald Trump decidedly negative, the media continues to equate Trump to an American Hitler, claiming he is silencing free speech and endangering a free press.

             Seriously? The only way to escape the raging flood of anti-Trump effluent from the Leftmedia propaganda machine is to completely unplug. Sports doesn’t even give us a break, as ESPN rehired Keith Olbermann despite his vicious comments about Trump and Trump supporters. Having taken a massive ratings hit though, ESPN may be starting to get the message.
               Regardless, if Trump is suppressing free speech he is doing a horrible job of it.
               CNN’s scumbag-Jim Acosta, known primarily as the idiot who screams at Trump, laughably told fellow anti-Trumper and late-night host Stephen Colbert that journalists are “not supposed to be the story.” He’s right, yet the media continues to make itself the story.
               Last week, more than 350 media outlets from around the country colluded on editorials protesting President Trump, claiming to be victims of his attacks on “fake news.” Because nothing says “we’re not coordinating negative coverage to take down President Trump” like hundreds of newspapers simultaneously printing editorials attacking Trump.
               On the matter of “fake news,” President Trump is not always articulate, but he is usually right. The evidence of intentional misrepresentation of facts by the media is impossible to miss. Examples of media bias range from selective omissions of relevant facts to editorials masquerading as news to outright lies. We don’t even have to go back far to find glaring examples.
               When Trump called fired White House employee and “Apprentice” star Omarosa Manigault-Newman a “dog” for releasing tapes she secretly recorded inside the West Wing, the media almost universally claimed it to be a racist comment. Does that mean journalists equate black people with dogs? Trump certainly doesn’t, based on the list of people he has called a “dog” on Twitter, including Mitt Romney, pasty actor Robert Pattinson, and anti-Trumpers George Will, Erick Erickson, and Bill Maher … all white.
               This same duplicitous media portrays black rapper Kanye West, a big Trump supporter, as a race traitor. Journalists ignore the fact that the Trump administration is actively working to help poor black children escape failing schools, working on criminal justice reform (which will disproportionately benefit the black community), and they largely ignore the fact that Trump’s economic policies have resulted in the lowest black and Hispanic unemployment rates ever recorded. As with the claims of Trump suppressing free speech, if Trump is a racist, he is doing a horrible job!
               And, of course, most media outlets avoid reporting Trump’s 36% approval rating among black Americans, an amazing number considering it was just 19% last year, and just 8% of blacks voted for Trump in 2016. dummycrats-Democrats must be terrified, which is why the media is ramping up the “Trump’s a racist” stories.
               The media is also attempting to spin Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani’s comment that “truth is not truth” as some Orwellian redefinition, intentionally taking it out of context to make him appear to endorse lying. Even NBC interviewer Chuck Todd admitted Giuliani was right.
               Some of the egregious examples of journalistic deceit come in what is NOT reported. For example, Trump’s ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) department is under fire from the open-borders Left for being inherently racist and for ripping illegal-alien families apart.
               So it should come as no surprise that when journalists covered the story of an illegal alien arrested by ICE as he drove his pregnant wife to the hospital, they conveniently omitted the very crucial detail that he was wanted for murder. This omission is intentionally deceitful.
               Media giants desperately try to convince us they are unbiased, but their actions reveal their dishonesty. Even before the election, major media outlets announced their intentions to destroy Trump at all cost. New York Times editor Dean Baquet openly admitted his publication would attack Trump in a way never done to any candidate before. Other rags took their cue to follow.
               By contrast, as Barack scumbag/liar-nObama attacked the free press, that same press actively colluded with scumbag/liar-nObama and liar-Hillary Clinton to protect them and influence elections. And today news outlets use high-ranking former scumbag/liar-nObama administration officials, like CIA Director scumbag/commie-John Brennan and dummycrats-DNI scumbag-James Clapper, to attack Trump, despite those two having been exposed for repeatedly lying and committing perjury.
               The Leftmedia has spent two years spewing 24/7 coverage of the alleged Trump/Russia collusion investigation despite zero evidence, yet ignores mountains of evidence of liar-Hillary’s felonious behavior, including taking bribes from Russian oligarchs.
               The public is well aware of this anti-Trump crusade, and the media is paying a price. A staggering 70% of Americans believe mainstream media outlets report stories “they know to be fake, false or purposely misleading.”
               At the end of the day, in their relentless effort to assassinate Trump, the Leftmedia is committing professional suicide.

The Arizona Secretary of State’s office said last Friday the petition drive was qualified to make the ballot, exceeding the number of signatures needed by 100,000. Arizonans for Affordable Electricity (AFAE), a group opposed to the measure funded primarily by a utility company in the states, argued that some signature gatherers were felons, which in most cases would violate state law. Trump's Good, Bad, and Ugly Day 

by Nate Jackson:  In March, we issued a warning about President Donald Trump’s salacious affairs with a porn star and a Playboy model a dozen years ago: “A man’s private morality does affect his ability to govern. At a bare minimum, the bad press is a distraction; at worst, it reveals a deep untrustworthiness that plays out in policy and personnel decisions. Moreover, all the hush money and other legal wrangling over flings with porn stars could seriously jeopardize the president.”

             Unfortunately, that warning proved all too prescient with yesterday’s news about Michael Cohen and Paul Manafort. More on that in a minute.
               Now don’t get us wrong — Trump may not be a good man, but he’s been a good president. He has, as Mark Alexander noted recently, “dropped a bomb on the status quo” in Washington. A desperately needed bomb. No wonder he’s a target for destruction.
               As for Trump’s (lack of) character, that was baked into the 2016 election cake. Voters knew exactly who they were electing — and that he was vastly preferable to a criminally corrupt swamp creature named liar-Hillary Clinton. Moreover, as you recall, liar-Bill Clinton had multiple accusations of rape and sexual assault, but dummycrats-Democrats rallied around him. Barack scumbag/liar-nObama lied about the murders of four Americans in Benghazi to win reelection in 2012, yetdummycrats-Democrats rallied around him. Now they care about character? Please.
               Yet it’s also true, as David French argues, “There is no universe that exists under which all the MAGA-folks wouldn’t be calling for liar-Hillary’s impeachment or resignation under similar facts.”
               Which brings us to the facts about Cohen and Manafort. Cohen, the president’s former lawyer, pleaded guilty to tax evasion, illegal campaign contributions, and making false statements to secure a loan. As part of his effort to obtain a better plea deal, he threw Trump under the bus, alleging that “a candidate for federal office” ordered and reimbursed hush-money payments to mistresses “for the principal purpose of influencing the election,” a violation of campaign-finance law because these in-kind contributions by Cohen exceeded the legal limit. That’s a serious charge, but it’s a difficult one to prove. As Harvard law professor Alan Dershowitz said of the Cohen deal, “It’s not nearly as deadly lethal [to Trump] as some have portrayed it as being.”
               But Cohen’s lawyer, Lanny Davis, is a leftist who was special counsel to liar-Bill Clinton, so he knows how to protect a dummycrats-Democrat and attack a Republican.
               Manafort was targeted by Robert Mueller’s team for various crimes committed before Trump’s candidacy. The jury convicted him on eight of 18 charges — a decidedly mixed bag. None of it had to do with Trump, and none of it had to do with Russian collusion. As with Cohen, it was all related to tax and bank fraud, and anyone who thinks such sleazy behavior isn’t commonplace among campaign advisers isn’t paying attention. Recall that District Judge T.S. Ellis chastised Mueller’s team, saying, “You don’t really care about Mr. Manafort. You really care about what information Mr. Manafort can give you to lead you to Mr. Trump and an impeachment, or whatever.”
               As Mollie Hemingway points out, “One of Manafort’s associates in the whole lobbying enterprise was [ dummycrats- Democrat] Tony Podesta, who has yet to be indicted for his role.” The obvious double standard and specific political targeting actually helps Trump politically.
               Yesterday was a bad day for the GOP, not necessarily for Trump — “draining the swamp” notwithstanding. It most certainly was not, as NBC News laughably asserts, “the darkest day for the presidency since Watergate.” That assertion is being parroted across the Leftmedia spectrum. Trump uses chaos to his advantage, even if it is needlessly distracting chaos. But the House is in jeopardy of falling todummycrats-Democrats, who will then be sorely tempted to pursue impeachment proceedings. Most Leftmedia outlets seem to consider impeachment a foregone conclusion, even if a Senate conviction will never happen.
               Leftists’ sole strategy is delegitimizing Donald Trump. Driven by their own Trump Derangement Syndrome, they’ll use yesterday’s news to maximum effect in seeking to exact retribution for Trump’s only real “crime” — defeating liar-Hillary Clinton in 2016.

In this, the last of a five-part series on how Barack Obama, Jr. is a creation of the Central Intelligence Agency, WMR delves into the behavior modification, creative leadership, and phenomenological research programs that were at full throttle while Obama was an employee of CIA front Business International Corporation (BIC).

In 1984, while Obama was working as an editor at BIC in Manhattan, CIA deputy director for intelligence Robert Gates, who Obama retained as his Secretary of Defense from the Bush administration, renamed the CIA's Political Psychology Division the Political Psychology Center (PPC) and transferred the group from the Office of Global Issues (OGI) to the Office of Scientific and Weapons Research (OSWR).

The CIA's political psychology program is directly linked to its overall psychological and behavioral science programs. In fact, the CIA continues to send CIA officers for training to the Stanford Institute for Political Psychology program at Stanford University. Stanford and Stanford Research Institute (SRI) figure prominently in the CIA behavioral science and modification programs that enabled Barack Obama to hurdle into political office.

A CIA memorandum from the chief of OSWR/PPC to the Associate Deputy Director for Intelligence, dated 1984, requests that a consultant member of the PPC's Senior Behavioral Science Panel be permitted to publish an unclassified paper prepared by the PPC at the University of Chicago. At the time of Gates's push for political psychology programs at the CIA, Obama was working on the very same psychological – propaganda "journalism" projects at BIC, a CIA front. The paper in question sought to depict Iranian Ayatollah Khomeini as intent on bringing down "'Western' supported regimes and to establish in their place one 'united Islamic Nation' guided by the Islamic Republic of Iran and Ayatollah Khomeini." The paper suggests Khomeini would accomplish his goals by stirring up the Shi'a populations of "Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Syria, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, and Iraq" and maintain "the Gulf and the Arab world in a state of crisis."

The CIA's push for political action on the international and domestic media is seen in a formerly SECRET/SENSITIVE agenda for a meeting on "Political Action," dated August 5, 1982 and attended by Secretary of State George Schultz, Secretary of Defense Caspar Weinberger, Deputy defense Secretary Frank Carlucci, CIA Director William Casey, US Information Agency director Charles Wick, and National Security Adviser William Clark.

The CIA's Project MOCKINGBIRD, developed under the aegis of Cord Meyer, was a Cold War-era program designed to influence the foreign and domestic media and its successor programs governed the CIA's use of BIC journalists, of which Obama was one, to push propaganda and disinformation at home and abroad. With the approval of the new Political Action doctrine by the Reagan administration, there was a major push to use companies like BIC and other private sector operations to push U.S. propaganda abroad. The cover for the Reagan administration had to be in the private sector for, as the memo states, "Obviously as a government we cannot and should not simply emulate Soviet methods. Nor will our political parties be able in the foreseeable future to play the international role of European parties. But there is much that we can do."

The memo states that there should be a private sector campaign to challenge the Soviets abroad and states that "even the New York Times" supported such an effort. The private sector propaganda effort was called PROJECT TRUTH and its details are outlined in a formerly Confidential memorandum from Wick to Clark dated April 23,1982.

A major propaganda effort against the Soviets, using U.S. and foreign private – unions, parties, youth, church, business, etc.–and public persons and elements, is described. Particular targets for the initiative included the May 13-16 Bilderberg meeting in Norway, the Fall UN General Assembly meeting, the April 28 Washington meeting of the Conference of Non-Governmental Organizations, and a contrivance known as "International Afghanistan Day."

The Reagan national security team was clearly intent, using cut-outs like BIC and others, to increase the U.S. "ability to generate political initiatives and conduct political campaigns, using overt and covert resources and combining government and private efforts here and abroad.

The CIA, Business International Corporation, Looking Glass, and nurturing future leadership

CIA files indicate the PPC was partially involved with a project called LOOKING GLASS, which involved a group of CIA and top business officials whose mission included "cultivating talent" from an early age.

WMR has obtained an agenda from the "Conference on Cultivating Talent" held in Greensboro, North Carolina from January 17–18, 1984, and co-sponsored by the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL). CCL was founded in 1970 by H. Smith Richardson, founder of the Vick Chemical Company.

Among the participants were the CIA's director of training and education, former National Security Agency (NSA) director Admiral Noel Gayler, and William Verity, Jr., the former chairman of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and a director at BIC in Manhattan. Gayler also served as Commander of the U.S. Pacific Command in Hawaii from 1972 to 1976, succeeding Admiral John S. McCain, Jr., the father of Obama's 2008 challenger, Senator John S. McCain III of Arizona.

Verity, who was also chairman of Armco steel corporation, later succeeded Malcolm Baldrige, Jr. as Secretary of Commerce in the Reagan administration. Verity became Commerce Secretary after Baldrige died in a freak rodeo accident in California. During his directorship at BIC, Verity also served on the boards of Eli Lilly and Chase Manhattan Bank, as well as serving as chairman of the board of trustees of Ford's Theater in Washington, DC.

Most of the CCL participants at the two - day conference were behavioral scientists. In our previous report on Obama and the CIA, WMR revealed that CIA director Richard Helms considered the University of Hawaii, the alma mater of Obama's mother and father, as one of five top centers for the CIA's behavioral science research work. The others were MIT, Yale, University of Michigan, and UCLA.

Speaking at the CCL conference, in addition to Verity, were Billie L. Alban, President of Alban & Williams, Ltd., an international consultancy. Alban was a core faculty member at UCLA and previously served on the staff of the Tavistock Institute in London. Currently, she teaches at Columbia University. Part of Alban's biography held in CIA archival files, which states her clients included the CIA - linked Bankers Trust, is redacted. Today, CCL's board of governors includes faculty members from Columbia and Harvard universities.

Verity was joined at the conference by two executives of Armco. One cartoon from the conference found in the CIA archives depicts two men with one pointing to a group of people representing the bottom rungs of society and exclaiming, "There is the raw material for a new, dynamic world!" The presence of Verity of BIC at the conference attended by the CIA's chief of education and training raises the specter of BIC's role in supplying "raw material" from its ranks, individuals like Obama, for the CIA's "new, dynamic world."

The CIA and Tavistock:

Also known as the “Freud Hilton,” Tavistock has long been involved in brainwashing techniques and CIA work since its foundation. The institute also has links to the Harvard Psychology Clinic, the CIA, and Stanford Research Institute (SRI), a major contractor for CIA psychic warfare activities in the 1970s and 80s. Alban told the 1984 CCL seminar, “talent should be nurtured and developed for tomorrow not today. If one focuses on today’s requirements, by the time talents are nurtured one will find they are the talents required of yesterday. The focus must be visionary and look to the needs of the future.”

The Tavistock Institute has long been linked with the CIA’s MK-ULTRA and Projects BLUEBIRD and ARTICHOKE mind control and brain-washing operations, conducted by the CIA’s top scientist for such matters, Dr. Sidney Gottlieb. Much of the records about MK-ULTRA and other CIA programs was destroyed on the order of Helms in 1972.

BLUEBIRD documents describe what the CIA was trying to accomplish with behavioral modification in the early 1950s: “Can we ‘alter’ a person’s personality? Can we devise a system for making unwilling subjects into willing agents and then transfer that control to untrained agency agents in the field by use of codes or identifying signs?” In other words, the movie “The Manchurian Candidate,” was not purely a fictional account within the CIA’s research and scientific community.

Considering Obama’s penchant for homosexual encounters in Chicago and Washington, DC, the question of a continuation of Gottlieb’s OPERATION MIDNIGHT CLIMAX continues to the present day. A sub-program of MK-ULTRA, MIDNIGHT EXPRESS employed prostitutes in the San Francisco Bay Area and New York City to lure targeted individuals into CIA safe houses where they would then be plied with drugs like LSD.

They would then be tested for their susceptibility to sexual blackmail. The program was “officially” halted in 1966, but the continuing use of prostitutes by the CIA for blackmail purposes has been verified to WMR by workers in the sex industry.

Twelve pages in the CIA’s director for training and education’s January 25, 1984, report to the deputy director for administration remain classified to this day, but in a hand written note on the CIA transmittal sheet, he states “I think you will find Tab B to be very interesting.” The deputy director for administration replies, also in a handwritten note, “I did – though I don’t [subscribe]? to call the community on Tab C.”

Tab B is the training and education director’s comments to the CCL. The talking points include:

• “Pleased to be invited to participate and to exchange ideas on the cultivating and nurturing of talent.
• Our recent visibility has been both an asset and a liability in this regard. More people know of the CIA and its activities than when I joined (tell the labor union story), and this attracts some good people. By the same token, it brings out the weird ones.
• We have an exceptional screening process involving security investigation, testing, (assessment – OSSCCL) psychological screening, medical review, interviewing, polygraph, etc. (and a long processing time!) [Ed. note: it cannot be determined if this reference is to the Office of Strategic Services, the forerunner of the CIA or the CIA’s Special Security Office. CCL, however, appears to indicate a past and on-going relationship between the CIA and the Center for Creative Leadership.]
• So, the people who come to us are, for the most part, exceptionally talented, thoroughly screened, and represent a real challenge for us to stretch, nurture and retain.
• Eventually reach the point where at least some people are identified early on as having high potential for senior agency-wide positions and are consciously developed toward that end.

CIA university recruitment the year Obama graduated from Columbia: 

A September 11, 1984 memo to Dan Carlin, the assistant director of the President's Foreign Intelligence Advisory Board (PFIAB) from the CIA's executive assistant/executive director to director William Casey points out the academia sources for the past year's CIA undergraduate recruits. Two recruits came from Columbia University. Obama graduated from Columbia in 1983 after reportedly studying under Zbigniew Brzezinski, the former National Security Adviser to President Carter. The chairman of the PFIAB at the time of the stepped-up CIA college recruiting campaign was Anne Armstrong, the Ford administration's ambassador to London from 1976 to 1977 and a major backer of George H.W. and George W. Bush. A one-time board member of Halliburton, Armstrong was a mentor for Karl Rove when she served as co-chairman of the Republican National Committee from 1971 to 1973.

By way of comparison, one undergraduate was recruited from Harvard, one from Occidental College (where Obama attended before transferring to Columbia), one from Claremont Men's College, one from Pepperdine. Topping the list are five each from Georgetown and Dartmouth. Graduate recruits include one from Harvard Law, where Obama attended law school after his "community service" work in Chicago; three from the University of Michigan (one of Helms's favored behavioral science research campuses), and, trumpeting other graduate schools, American University in Washington, with five new recruits.

CIA archival records also indicate an on-going relationship between Obama's former college, Occidental, and the CIA in 1983. A MacNeil-Lehrer Newshour transcript shows a guest, Lawrence Caldwell of Occidental, as having been a scholar in residence at the CIA's Office of Soviet Analysis for two years.

Behavioral science, the CIA, and SRI:

A formerly Secret NOFORN [not releasable to foreign nationals] proposal for the CIA, dated December 31, 1992, and prepared for the CIA by Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) describes in great detail the agency’s behavioral science programs, which included anomalous cognition (AC) and anomalous perturbation (AP). AC is defined as “the awareness of information that is considered otherwise shielded from all known sensory channels” and AP is “the perturbation of physical matter under conditions of complete physical and sensorial isolation.”

The document states that research into both field began in 1973 with the CIA engaged in such research and was followed by U.S. military service and Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) research with SRI through fiscal year 1990. The document also states “beginning in 1986, the U.S. Army Medical Research and Development Command (USAMRDC) [Fort Detrick, Maryland] initiated the first coordinated long-term examination of AC and AP phenomenon.”

The nexus of Obama’s almae matres: Occidental, Columbia, and Harvard, as well as that of his parents, the University of Hawaii, in the CIA’s mind control, behavioral modification, and mass hypnosis projects is deeply troubling. The fact that Obama has failed to provide a full accounting of his past academic and professional employment history, coupled with the presence of a major CIA presence within his and his parents’, grandparents’, and step-father’s backgrounds opens up the real possibility that Obama was, to use the CIA’s own term, “nurtured,” for a higher calling.  Obama told the nation that his would be the most open and transparent in recent recent history. However, Obama’s biography and those of his parents and guardians are full of more holes than a slice of Swiss cheese. It is well past time for the President to make good on that promise and fully release his past academic, passport, employment, and overseas travel records.

After eight brutal years of George W. Bush and Dick Cheney, the nation was ready for any change. Unfortunately, the CIA, through LOOKING GLASS, MK-ULTRA, ARTICHOKE, PANDORA, and other behavioral science programs were ready to answer the call. The CIA answered the call with Obama and most of us bought him and his “Hope and Change” propaganda fecundity “nurtured” by CIA programs going back some sixty years.”

A cloud service provider and security research firm contacted the dummycrats-DNC early Tuesday that a fake login page had been created to try to collect usernames and passwords that would give access to the party’s database, a source told CNN. The page appeared to look like the access page dummycrats- Democratic Party officials and campaigns use to log into Votebuilder, which hosts the voter database, the CNN report said. It is not clear who may have been behind the attempted hack. The dummycrats-DNC does not believe its voter files were accessed or changed. Not So Fast: Michael Cohen’s Plea Agreement

Did Not Necessarily Implicate The President

{ dailycaller.com } ~ On Tuesday, Michael Cohen recently entered a guilty plea and admitted to violating campaign finance laws... by arranging hush money payments under the direction of an “unnamed candidate.” While Mr. Cohen did not directly name President Trump, many people automatically assumed that he was referring to then-candidate Trump and that his admission possibly implicated the president. While many in the news media are celebrating this news, they might be celebrating prematurely and without good reason. Michael Cohen’s admission must be taken in the proper context. First, his admission was part of a plea deal. What this means is that the prosecutor offered Mr. Cohen a “deal” of some sort for his testimony. Oftentimes, plea deals include a lesser charge or a reduced sentence. And just because a defendant is offered a plea deal does not necessarily mean that his testimony is truthful, honest, and/or corroborated. Moreover, a plea deal is not an adjudication of guilt and does not create legal precedent. In other words, Mr. Cohen’s plea agreement cannot be used or presented to a court as legal authority...

No More Pious Platitudes

{ tommclaughlin.blogspot.com } ~ How old is the Catholic Church? Well, what year are we in? It’s 2018 years old, the oldest, continually-functioning institution on earth. Along the way it’s been corrupted and reformed more than once and we’re overdue for another purge. When now-former Cardinal Theodore McCarrick was credibly accused earlier this month of having molested young men and boys for decades, I was shaken. When the sexual abuse scandal first broke in 2002, McCarrick had been a prominent spokesperson assuring us all that he and other bishops would straighten everything out. Now we see he’d been a predator himself the entire time.

 

Then came the grand jury report in Pennsylvania earlier last week documenting that a thousand young people, mostly adolescent boys, were systematically molested by over three hundred priests. How many more were there who never came forth? Even worse, it was covered up for decades by other priests and bishops just like McCarrick. Those bishops live in mansions, but they belong in prison cells. How many clergy knew what was going on but lacked the courage to speak up? They should resign immediately. The time for pious platitudes is over.

I was born a Boston-Irish-Catholic-dummycrats-Democrat in 1951 and went to mass every Sunday. I attended Catholic schools from second grade through high school. After eighteen, my attendance declined. After going out on my own I had stopped attending altogether. Only when I had children who asked me about God did I go back.

 

Some years later The Boston Globe published its 2002 Spotlight Series on the huge scandal in the Boston Archdiocese. Priests had been raping altar boys by the hundreds across eastern Massachusetts for decades — all covered up by bishops, Cardinal Bernard Law, and others until the Globe blew it wide open. The Globe had done us all a service but they were wrong about one thing. They spun it as a “Pedophile Priest Scandal,” and yes, there were a few pedophile priests who molested children, but the vast majority of assaults were by homosexual priests preying on pubescent boys and young men. It was most definitely a homosexual priest scandal, but Cardinal McCarrick and others the USCCB (United States Conference of Catholic Bishops) carefully painted it as something else. Now we know why.

 

Several of their advisors, however, disagreed. According to a 2011 article in the Linacre Quarterly: “Dr. Paul McHugh, a member of the first USCCB National Review Board and former psychiatrist-in-chief at Johns Hopkins Hospital, stated in an interview about the crisis: “I’m amazed that this fundamental bombshell [of the homosexual predation of American adolescent males] has not been the subject of greater interest and discussion. . . . I’m astonished that people throughout America are not . . . wondering about what the mechanisms were that set this alight.”

 

A more recent article in US News and World Report cites research concluding that a majority of Catholic priests are homosexual. The Catholic Church has long taught that homosexuality is “intrinsically disordered,” but it’s obvious now that many American and European priests, bishops, cardinals, and maybe Pope Francis, don’t believe it. Many, maybe most people in the pews don’t believe it either. How many Catholic readers here have heard homilies about homosexual sex at mass? I’ve heard only one in the past thirty years.

 

The Church also teaches that abortion is wrong, but how many homilies have you heard about that? Again, I’ve heard only two in thirty years. As many as half the people in the pews don’t believe homosexual sex or abortion arewrong and live accordingly. The late Bishop Fulton Sheen put it best: “If you don't behave as you believe, you will end by believing as you behave.”

 

Such are the consequences of the last century’s sexual revolution. If the Catholic Church is to be saved, bishops and priests who don’t believe its teachings must leave. Those remaining must return to preaching that the only proper place for sexual behavior is in a marriage between one man and one woman that welcomes children. They must preach that abortion is always wrong except to save the life of the mother, which is hardly ever necessary. Most people calling themselves Catholics today think it okay to live lives in violation of Catholic teachings, and it’s increasingly clear that many in the clergy, too, think it’s okay to wink at the rules. This cannot continue.

 

To preach on church teachings, one must believe them and those homilies will very likely drive down both attendance at mass and revenue from the collection box. Many parishioners and clergy will join Episcopal, Unitarian, and other churches where rules are easier, or you can make your own.

 

We used to see the Catholic Church as holding fast to basic Christian principles against enormous world pressure to relax them. It’s harder to see it that way now.

Michael Cohen subpoenaed in NY

James Gazzale, a spokesman for the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance, confirmed to Fox News that Cohen was subpoenaed "for relevant information in light of the public disclosures made yesterday," but declined to comment further on the investigation. The subpoena was first reported by The Associated Press. Investigators have been looking into whether Trump or his eponymous charity broke state law or lied about their tax liability. Anyone charged with a state crime could not be pardoned by the president. The subpoena was issued one day after Cohen pleaded guilty to violating federal campaign finance laws and claimed he did so at the behest of then-candidate Trump. Cohen admitted to arranging hush-money payments to adult-film star Stormy Daniels and Playboy model Karen McDougal so that they would keep quiet about claims they had affairs with Trump. The man often described as Trump's "fixer" said in court that the payments were meant to influence the outcome of the 2016 presidential election...

Illegal Alien Charged in Murder of College Student 

by Thomas Gallatin:  Sad news broke yesterday: The body of missing University of Iowa student Mollie Tibbetts was found in a corn field a few miles from her home in the small town of Brooklyn, Iowa. Tibbetts’s sudden disappearance during an evening jog last month made front-page news across the nation as her family and friends appealed to the public for any information. Police announced Tuesday that they had arrested and charged Cristhian Rivera, a 24-year-old illegal alien, with first-degree murder.

             Authorities stated that Rivera had been living in the area for the last four to seven years and that he worked at Yarrabee Farms, a local family-run farm. Yarrabee Farms issued a statement saying that Rivera had been “vetted through the government’s E-Verify system, and [he] was an employee in good standing.” The company further added, “Yarrabee Farms follows all laws related to verifying employees are legal to work in the United States, and we regularly seek outside counsel to ensure we stay up-to-date on employment law matters. We keep records on all employees and have shared that information with authorities.”
               Meanwhile, the mainstream media continued its practice of blurring the lines between legal and illegal immigrants by referencing Rivera as an “undocumented immigrant.” Yet that proves to be ironic and misleading in this case, given that Rivera was actually “documented,” though it’s clear his documentation was not legal.
               On Monday, Immigration and Customs Enforcement Executive Associate Director Matthew Albence noted the danger in dummycrats-Democrat and leftist calls for abolishing ICE. “If you abolished ICE and removed the whole interior enforcement arm of immigration enforcement, you will have created the greatest pull factor this country has ever seen,” he said, adding, “Individuals south of the border will know that as long as they keep trying and keep trying to get past the border patrol, that there is no possibility that they will ever be arrested, even if they get arrested for criminal violation in this country, that there is no possibility they will ever be arrested by immigration and by ICE. Without that deterrent effect, you will have rampant crime throughout our communities.”
               Iowa Republican Gov. Kim Reynolds asserted, “As Iowans, we are heartbroken, and we are angry. We are angry that a broken immigration system allowed a predator like this to live in our community, and we will do all we can [to] bring justice to Mollie’s killer.” Texas Republican Gov. Gregg Abbott took aim at sanctuary cities, writing, “This is why so many Americans are angry about sanctuary cities. It’s why Texas banned sanctuary cities. It’s about safety.” Perhaps he was hearkening back to the last high-profile death perpetrated by an illegal alien — that of Kate Steinle in the sanctuary city of San Francisco.
               No matter how dummycrats-Democrats and open-borders proponents try to spin it, crimes like this committed by illegal aliens are on their heads. Leftists play an active role in seeking to limit effective means of securing our country’s borders, working against the enforcement of our nation’s immigration laws via the creation of “sanctuary cities” while calling for the abolishment of ICE.
               If  dummycrats-Democrats were truly concerned over the security of U.S. citizens as well as the plight of illegal aliens, they would be front and center in promoting a strong, secure border and the full enforcement of immigration laws. Doing so would go a long way in reducing the systematic and horrific abuse illegals suffer in the human-trafficking industry that thrives on lax immigration enforcement. But alas, for dummycrats-Democrats it’s all about securing their own hold on political power, not about serving their fellow Americans or even the illegals they claim to champion.

Hamas Refuses to Disarm as a Part of Any Truce With Israel

"We benefit from the truce," senior Hamas official Mahmoud Zahar was quoted as telling the online newspaper Al-Khaleej Online. "Our weapons will remain in our hands and there are no conditions regarding Hamas's right to continue the resistance. The truce does not require a political price from Hamas and it is not part of the deal of the century." The "deal of the century" refers to US President Donald Trump's yet-to-be-announced plan for peace in the Middle East. Zahar's statement came in response to claims by Palestinian Authority and Fatah officials to the effect that any cease-fire agreement between Hamas and Israel would pave the way for the implementation of Trump's unseen plan which, they charge, is aimed at "liquidating" the Palestinian cause. PA President Mahmoud Abbas and some of his top officials in Ramallah claimed in the past few days that efforts to reach a cease-fire deal between Israel and Hamas were also aimed at separating the Gaza Strip from the West Bank. On Monday, ICE arrested Palij, 95, a former labor camp guard, enforcing a 2004 court order the same day President Donald Trump praised ICE and Customs and Border Protection officials at a White House ceremony. Specifically for ICE, created in 2003, this marks at least the fourth Nazi arrest, deporting Nazi concentration camp guards John Demjanjuk and Josias Kumpf in 2009, and soldier John (Ivan) Kalymon in 2011. “Despite a court ordering his deportation in 2004, past administrations were unsuccessful in removing Palij,” White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said in a statement. “To protect the promise of freedom for Holocaust survivors and their families, President Trump prioritized the removal of Palij. Through extensive negotiations, President Trump and his team secured Palij’s deportation to Germany and advanced the United States’ collaborative efforts with a key European ally,” Sanders added. For months, some dummycrats-Democrats have demanded the government “abolish ICE,” which is charged with enforcing immigration law in the interior of the country. Last month, three House dummycrats-Democrats  introduced legislation to shut down ICE. 'Affordable Care' Becomes Slightly More Affordable 

by Political Editors:  As the midterm election campaign season nears the home stretch, one of the major issues dummycrats-Democrats were seeking to exploit has seemingly dried up — the ballooning costs of scumbag/liar-nObamaCare premiums. Yes, oddly enough, they wanted to hang the catastrophic results of their own law on Republicans for tweaking it. Earlier this year the Congressional Budget Office projected that the average cost of scumbag/liar-nObamaCare premiums would increase by 15% in 2019. Following this projection,dummycrats-Democrats wailed about how President Donald Trump and Republicans were undermining the Affordable Care Act.

             The Leftmedia quickly went to bat for dummycrats-Democrats, with the Center for American Progress predicting that scumbag/liar-nObamaCare’s “benchmark plan” would shoot up 25% next year, all because the individual mandate had been repealed by Republican tax reform. For example, CAP calculated that rates in Pennsylvania would climb 27%, Wisconsin would rise 28%, and the states of Arizona and Nebraska would increase 29%. By most estimates, dummycrats-Democrats saw the pain of skyrocketing rates as a political club to bludgeon their Republican challengers.
               However, insurers are now requesting premium increases at rates significantly less than even the CBO’s early projections. As Investor’s Business Daily explains, “scumbag/liar-nObamaCare premiums will rise a mere 0.7% in Pennsylvania, according to the state’s insurance commissioner. They will climb by just 1% in Nebraska. In Wisconsin, they’re expected to drop by 3.5%, and drop by more than 5% in Arizona.”
               It now appears that dummycrats-Democrats and their cohorts in the MSM will have to turn elsewhere to glean sparse evidence to support their message of a coming Armageddon should voters not elect them back into power. While Republicans did fail in their repeated attempts to repeal the ACA — as is almost always the case, once an entitlement program is implemented, it becomes almost impossible to repeal it in its entirety — Trump and Republicans have been successful in amending some of the most abusive aspects of the law, specifically the individual mandate. And people are going to save a little money.
