If President Trump Is Mentally Unstable, Let’s Hope It’s Contagious

The latest obsession of the mainstream media and other leftists is questioning the President’s mental health. Allow me to suggest that If they are correct and the President is mentally unstable it’s not necessarily a bad thing. In fact, if having a screw loose makes people as successful as Donald Trump was during the past eleven and a half months, we should pray it’s contagious and that everyone in Congress and the federal bureaucracy catches it (and me also).

For example, CNN’s media reporter Brian Stelter who has been attacking Trump since he started running said on  “Anderson Cooper 360”:

“What would we say if the leader of Germany or China or Brazil posted tweets like Trump’s? How would we cover it? We’d say: That person is not well. We’d wonder whether that person is fit to hold office.”

Politico reported that Yale psychiatry professor Dr. Bandy X. Lee spent two days on Capitol Hill last month speaking to Senators about Trump’s mental state:

In private meetings with more than a dozen members of Congress held on December 5 and 6, Lee briefed lawmakers — all Democrats except for one Republican senator, whom Lee declined to identify. Her professional warning to Capitol Hill: “He’s going to unravel, and we are seeing the signs.”

John Heilemann said Trump seemed “demented and deranged, and Trump hater Bill Kristol tweeted that Pence should be preparing himself to take power in accordance with the 25th Amendment  “in case it’s suddenly needed.”

There are other examples also, but none of the people questioning the president’s capacity address the most important point. Are president Trump’s incredible set of accomplishments during his first year in the White House a result of his supposed madness? Or do the accomplishments prove the armchair psychiatrists and shrinks who never examined the POTUS are the ones who are a bit “fruit loops?”

Just look at what this president who supposedly has a diminished capacity has been able to accomplish:

  1. Led Congress to pass tax reform bill providing $5.5 billion in cuts and repealed oppressive Obamacare mandate.
  2. Fuel economic growth moving GDP above 3 percent.
  3. Boosted economic confidence, causing the Dow Jones index to grow to record highs and at a record pace.
  4. Signed an Executive Order demanding that two regulations be killed for every new one, boosting economic growth.
  5. Withdrew from the Obama-era Paris Climate Agreement, ending one-sided environmental regulations.
  6. Withdrew from the Trans-Pacific Partnership which had terms unfavorable to the US.
  7. Began renegotiating the North American Free Trade Agreement for the same reason.
  8. Convinced companies like Toyota, Mazda, Broadcom Limited, and Foxconn announced plans to open new plants in the U.S.
  9. Ended Obama’s job-killing Clean Power Plan.
  10. Allowed military professionals freedom needed to win the war on terror, as a result, kicking ISIS butts.
  11. Normalized good relationships with Saudi Arabia that Barack Obama damaged by ignoring the red line he set.
  12. Started treating Israel like an ally, as opposed to treating it like an empire like Barack Obama did.
  13. Publicly admonished the Palestinians for inciting terrorism and paying “blood money” to terrorists.
  14. Ended the Obama-era “catch and release” of illegal immigrants.
  15. Significantly reduced the number of illegal aliens slipping through the southern border.
  16. Appointed and got Senate confirmation for twelve federal appeals court judges an all-time record for a first-year president.
  17. Nominated and received confirmation of Neil Gorsuch to the Supreme Court.
  18. Went to the Middle East and convinced some Muslim nations to join in fighting terrorism.
  19. Reinstated the “Mexico City Policy” killed by Obama which blocks foreign aid being used for abortions.
  20. Pressured North Korea to end its nuclear program, got UN to increase sanctions against the N Korean regime, living rent-free inside Kim Jung Un’s head, moving the despot to reopen talks with the south.
  21. Pressuring China to help get Kim Jung Un to behave.
  22. Ordered new sanctions on the despotic dictatorship in Venezuela.
  23. Pressured NATO partners to increase their military budgets to the level they had previously agreed to.
  24. Ordered the bombing of Syria for using chemical warfare against its own people, enforcing a red line Obama set and ignored.
  25. Used his personal relationship with China’s president to secure the release of three UCLA students arrested for shoplifting a pair of sunglasses.
  26. Kept his promise to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and began the process of moving US embassy to Israel’s capital city.
  27. Directed the Pentagon to upgrade and modernize America’s nuclear arsenal.

There are plenty of others but I am sure you get the point. President Trump has been incredibly successful for a “mentally unstable” man during his first year on the job.

During the Civil War, a committee of arrogant elitists met with President Lincoln and demanded General Grant’s removal, because, they claimed, he was a whiskey drinker, and little better than a common drunkard. “Ah!” exclaimed the great emancipator, “you surprise me, gentlemen. But can you tell me where he gets his whiskey?” “We cannot, Mr. President. But why do you desire to know?” “Because, if I can only find out, I will send a barrel of this wonderful whiskey to every general in the army.”

That’s how people should feel about the claims of President Trump’s diminished mental capacity. Arrogant elitists who never experienced a President speaking his mind without using flowery diplomatic words are claiming this president is becoming more cuckoo than a clock. But taking the cue from Abe Lincoln, we should find out what is causing what the liberals and mainstream media claims are the mental problems of the President to spread his success around.

Once we find out what is causing this mentally unstable success we should make sure that all Congressmen and the federal bureaucracy catch the same problem so they will be as successful as President Trump. And if there is any left, I would like some also. Please note if there isn’t any of Trump’s mental instability left, I’ll take a barrel of Gen. Grant’s whiskey as a consolation.

For example, 252,000 jobs were generated in November, but December saw just 148,000 — a month-over-month reduction of 104,000 and about 42,000 fewer than economists’ expectations, according to CNBC. At 4.1%, the headline unemployment rate remained static, though the U-6 rate, a better measure, ticked up to 8.1% from 8%. Most of the jobs report blame is being pegged on the retail industry, which fell by roughly 20,000 jobs, and that certainly makes sense as brick and mortar stores are still grappling with Internet sales. But other factors may be at play.

          While the jobs numbers failed to meet economists’ expectations, there was one person who anticipated the possibility of a lackluster report. On Nov. 30, meteorologist and Patriot Post contributor Joe Bastardi warned, “Caution: December Weather May Cause Skidding of the Economy.” Americans were accustomed to unseasonable warm Decembers in recent years, but Bastardi foresaw a major change this time around. He wrote, “The potential for more extreme cold between Dec. 10 and Jan. 10 has us very concerned.” In fact, his research revealed that the coming cold “would have a huge effect on the economy in almost all sectors from the Plains and areas east.”
          Of course, climate change alarmists are tying the U.S. deep freeze to man-made global warming. Guys like scum-Al Gore are proclaiming, “It’s bitter cold in parts of the US, but climate scientist Dr. Michael Mann explains that’s exactly what we should expect from the climate crisis.” Which is rubbish — analogs derived from Bastardi provide example after example of similar extreme patterns before global warming was even part of the discussion. And deep freezes like our current one add credence to the idea that cold weather hurts the economy far more than warm weather.
          By the way, Bastardi expects milder temperatures later this month, but anomalous cold could return in February. So a similar jobs report could presumably be in the offing when February’s economic analysis is released. January’s buzzkill report is neither the fault of Donald Trump’s economic policies — in fact, investors appear mostly unbothered — nor the result of man-made global warming. {wnd.com} ~ On several occasions over the last few months, I have asserted that while those who voted for Donald Trump in November of 2016 did so due to disgust over the political status quo and in some cases due to adversity they experienced that was directly brought about by the policies of the previous administration, most of these voters remain ignorant of the broader dynamic at hand. As such, part of my mission has become to aid in revealing aspects of this dynamic to the electorate, because it is essential that voters understand these in order to effectively support our president as he addresses same.

As anyone who was around during the Cold War can attest, in the former Soviet Union, the political class was essentially comprised of gangsters, the most ruthless of which ascended to the highest echelons of government. The increasing similarity of our political system to this one won’t be wasted on those who remember. The “Trump Revolution” has resulted in a vigorous mobilization of leftist factions in America largely because it represents an existential threat to their decades-long pernicious agenda. Trump himself, as the consummate capitalist, represents a symbolic as well as an existential threat to the elite-run oligarchical collectivist model the political establishment is attempting to install in America.

The central message is that over the last several decades, the United States has been infiltrated by elements of the political left in a manner and on a scale that would have horrified the average citizen during the Cold War. The insinuation of leftist operatives progressives, socialists and a smattering of communists includes Democrats and Republicans at all levels of government, the press, activists and political donors, and has given rise to a culture of abject lawlessness within our government and amongst politicos at large.

The depth and breadth of this corruption must be communicated to the electorate as effectively as possible if we are to extricate the Deep State and entrenched socialist menace.

It has been well-established that the political establishment in the past, I would have referred to those on the political left operates in a decidedly amoral fashion as a matter of course, having determined that the ends justify the means. Nowhere has this fact been more clearly demonstrated than in the blitz of fake news and contrived scandals orchestrated by the political left in the cause of discrediting, demonizing and slandering President Donald Trump. This of course began as soon as Trump declared his candidacy for the office of president and included unreliable and shadowy intelligence, as well as desperate, baseless claims of Trump being a racist, a misogynist, a homophobe, an Islamophobe … the list goes on ad infinitum.

Among the most widespread animadversions cast in Donald Trump’s direction has been the claim that he is a misogynist and/or a sexual predator of some sort. Although this backfired during the 2016 campaign when Trump’s political enemies proved incapable of finding any women able to corroborate these charges out of the thousands with whom Trump has worked and employed over decades, they obviously have not given up.

One of the prominent stories in the current news cycle has become that of Trump’s political enemies having conspired during the campaign to financially compensate prospective Trump accusers for their testimony against him. As reported in the New York Times last week, celebrity lawyer Lisa Bloom, who was working with a number of prospective Trump accusers, received at least $500,000 from donors supporting liar-Hillary Clinton during the campaign to this end. Among them was Susie Tompkins Buell, founder of Esprit Clothing and a long-time liar-Clinton donor. According to the Times, Bloom reportedly solicited donors by saying that she was working with women who might “find the courage to speak out” against Trump if the donors would provide funds for them.

Bloom, daughter of the equally odious celebrity attorney Gloria Allred, was largely responsible for employing similarly unethical methods to oust Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly last spring.

This is not only illustrative of the lack of scruples evidenced by people like Lisa Bloom, but it is also illegal. Such action-conspiring with individuals to proffer false testimony against another in a legal proceeding falls well within the purview of anti-conspiracy statutes and should be prosecuted accordingly, as is the case when members of organized crime do likewise. More importantly, it is essential to recognize that any rationalization or justification for going after Trump in this manner represents the culture of abject lawlessness described earlier.

As I pointed out last November, once again, we have liars, cheats and thieves with law degrees abetted by other liars, cheats and thieves with law degrees, all of whom are well-acquainted with the most effective ways to skirt – or break – the law. The government-media complex, which repeatedly overlooked dozens of crimes committed by the previous administration and its surrogates, nevertheless holds out the vain hope that an undoctored photo of Trump handing Russian President Vladimir Putin a fat check or raping someone on the Capitol steps at High Noon will eventually materialize.

Barring that, it’s become evident that they intend to simply make something up.

Still more important is the realization that the willingness of the political establishment to engage in these tactics illustrates how none of this is about Trump at all. We are indeed in the midst of a carefully crafted, protracted political coup of the foulest order, orchestrated by individuals no less vile and acrimonious than the old Soviet apparatchiks who enslaved generations of people during the last century.

A Familiar Pattern at the IRS

One of the hallmarks of the American identity is the belief that the American people can trust our government to be fair and honest. To undermine this legitimacy would be the death knell of this republic. The weaponization of any portion of our government for an ideology and the use of taxpayer money of meet an agenda is unacceptable to the people of this country.
Under Obama the weight of the various agencies were brought to bear on an unsuspecting populous through the progressive socialists within the government and with the full imprimatur of the Obama administration. From Fast and Furious to the IRS and even up to today we are still cleaning up after the damage the Obama left behind.
My intent today is to focus on the IRS and what the Obama administration did with that agency to do lasting damage to this country by suppressing the conservative Tea Party movement. As a political movement the Tea Party was harassed for many years, and even to this day there are many Tea Party organizations that still have not received the non-profit status that they were requesting.
The major player in the IRS fiasco was and remains Lois Lerner. It has been proven that there were contacts with Democratic Rep. Elijah Cummings and Democratic Senator Sheldon Whitehouse about the True the Vote organization.
Cummings staffers first contacted the IRS about True the Vote was in August 2012, asking for information on the Organization and Ms. Engelbrecht. In January 2013 Cummings staff requested further information about the organization from the IRS. Lerner and Deputy Holly Paz went out of their way to obtain as much information as they could which was then sent to Rep. Cummings and was then hidden from the Majority of members of the Oversight Committee. At the end of January Deputy Director of the tax exempt division Holly Paz sent True the Vote’s 990 forms to Cummings staff, a clear violation of federal law. During this entire time Rep. Cummings denied any contact with the IRS . In fact during the time that Ms. Engelbrecht testified before a Subcommittee hearing on this matter which occurred on February sixth 2014, Rep. Cummings used all the black victim rage he could muster to vehemently denounce this woman and deny and contact or coordination with the IRS against True the Vote.
The purposes of these discussions were to discuss the criminal prosecution of conservative c4s who report they are not involved in any political activity and how to go about proving that they were. It was discussed how just one IRS prosecution would impact these groups of conservative Tea Party members and stifle the work they were doing
This line of reasoning moved further up the chain to the Department of Justice led by Eric Holder,( the only Attorney General ever found in Contempt of Congress), before being shut down. Including the DOJ in going after these targeted groups would assure great difficulty in obtaining the documents needed to set the timeline for the illegal activities including the coordination and improper sharing of the taxpayer information connected to the Tea Party groups involved.
Lerner was more than happy to discuss hiding all facets of this illegal activity and even went as far as giving an interview to Politico to tell her lies to the American public and attempt to place herself as the victim. The only group she refused to explain these actions to was the Oversight Committee, the only group whose only purpose is the root out the illegal activities and prosecute those who break the law. Asking for members’ lists, what books they read, the text of prayers and where they and their members go to church are outside the purview of investigation for c4 applications. Lerner and her equally culpable replacement John Koskinen actually told the House ways and Means committee that
“Whenever we can, we follow the law”.
Under Obama, anything was possible and breaking the law was just something to ignore. It was our President who prejudged the investigation that took place over four years and declared there was not a “smidgen of corruption” when he fully knew the facts were pointing to jail time for IRS officials.
Those who worked in the IRS, including Lois Lerner, Holly Paz and later. John Koskinen were knee deep in a criminal enterprise whose only purpose was to harass intimidate, attempt tp criminalize and bankrupt those who political ideology was different from the progressive socialist line. The basic premise was that they could use their public positions in the government to shut down those with opposing views. The bureaucrats in Washington were allowed to use the budget and power of the federal government to target free speech an abuse of power that went far beyond anything that Richard Nixon ever contemplated and these thugs should be held accountable.
A recent settlement of $3.5 million in a class action lawsuit does not go far enough. Lerner and the rest if the swamp at the IRS need to be held accountable. While the taxpayers are paying for the misdeeds of the Lerner IRS, she is now retired with a full government pension provided by the taxpayers.
And now Lois Lerner and Holly Paz have requested that the sworn depositions that they were forced to give be sealed because they are afraid that harm may come to them from the American Public if it were to be made public. But if they did nothing wrong why should the public not be able have those depositions made available. Is it because the actions they took to humiliate and damage others with whom that have a political disagreement were illegal?
The largest miscarriage of justice in this whole debacle was the DOJ, who worked in collusion with the IRS in this whole matter, decided not to prosecute. And although Lois Lerner intentionally misled both federal investigators and the American public about what transpired, the DOJ claimed that they couldn’t prosecute because here was no Intent. Sound familiar?

A Church of England church has been allowed to remove its pews in order to cater for local Muslims.  St Thomas Werneth, in Oldham, near Manchester, has been given permission to remove the pews to allow it to hold more events with the wider community, which is “broadly Muslim”, the Chancellor of the Diocese of Manchester said.

In a ruling made last month, Geoffrey Tattershall QC said that the church would be allowed to remove the seating because the proposals would have “major public benefit outweighing any harm resulting from the loss of the pews”.

The 19th century church is the only one in the parish and is in an area which is 88 per cent non-white British.

“Its continuing presence is important in enabling social cohesion and contact between local Muslims and Christians,” the Chancellor said.

“The purpose of the re-ordering of the Church is to open up the Church for community use, as part of its service and mission to the mainly Muslim community in the parish and to enable the wider community to share its heritage.

“The Church wishes to be a place of welcome, growth and engagement for the local communities.”

The plan was supported by the Venerable Cherry Vann, the Archdeacon of Rochdale, who said there was “significant interfaith work” going on in the area and “a genuine desire among some of the Muslim leaders to build bridges and work in partnership with the Church.”

“Moreover there is clearly some goodwill towards the church in the (at present) largely Muslim community in Werneth and it is important that the church has the flexibility and capacity to exercise a ministry of hospitality to those living in the parish through a variety of community-based activities,” she said.

Local church school St Thomas in Werneth was earlier this year reported to have only Muslim pupils.

The Victorian Society raised concerns about the plans, which it said would be “damaging” to the Grade II listed church.

The Chancellor said he had “no hesitation” in ruling that the pews were “not of any significant historic merit, particularly since they were only recently installed in 1970”, and could be removed.

Honor killing and violence is in accordance with Islamic mores and tradition, which is why we see an increase in honor killings in the West: it’s a result of Muslim immigration.

A recent survey showed that 91 percent of honor killings worldwide are committed by Muslims, and 84 percent of honor killings in the United States were done by Muslims. This is no surprise. Also, the legal codes of Jordan, Syria, and other Muslim countries have substantially reduced penalties for honor murders as compared to other murders, and Islamic clerics have resisted efforts to stiffen penalties for honor killings. Karachi:  A girl and her fiance were gunned down, allegedly by the girl’s maternal uncle after spotting them chatting in Pakistan’s Sindh province, in the latest case of honour killing, a media report said.

The girl, identified as Nazeeran, was speaking with her husband-to-be Shahid in Nayi Wahi village in the suburbs of Ghotki town when her uncle spotted them.

The uncle opened fire on them out of anger, Express News reported.

According to police, the victims were each other’s cousins and the incident was a case of ‘honour killing’.

Two suspects, both of whom happen to be the girl’s uncles, have been arrested so far.

Honour killings are pandemic in Pakistan, and women are its predominant victims.

An angry Pakistani youth allegedly shot dead his sister and her husband in Rawalpindi last month for marrying without the family’s consent.

In November, a newly-wed couple in Sindh province who married without the consent of their elders were killed allegedly on the orders of a jirga (village elders).Comments

More Pakistani women are murdered at the hands of close family members for supposed immoral behaviour than Pakistani civilians are killed by terrorism, the report said.

The Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (HRCP) has reported an average of 650 honour killings annually over the past decade. But since most go unreported, the real number is likely to be much higher, the report said.

Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) is being accused by extremely angry members of the Florida Republican Party of rigging the National Committeewoman race to keep the establishment in place and sabotage popular pro-Trump candidate Karen Giorno.

Giorno was Trump’s Florida director during the primaries as well as a senior adviser working in Trump Tower during the general election. She has also previously worked in the Bush White House and as Governor Rick Scott’s director of external affairs.

According to Maryann Pistilli, a grassroots activist who got her start with the Tea Party and went on to become a co-chair for the Trump campaign in Florida as well and a regional director for the RPOF, the treatment Giorno was subjected to by the state party was like nothing she had ever seen before.

“We were treated so rudely up there, I was employee of theirs — so were these other women,” Pistilli, audibly upset, said of the treatment of herself, Giorno and the other women who were stumping for her by her former employers. “These women that were with me worked their butts off during the election to help our party win and they were treated with such disrespect!”

She described the RPOF as “infested” with Never-Trumpers and recalled an incident where one of the women she was with handed an invitation to Giorno’s reception to a party chairwoman and she crumpled it up in a ball and threw it at them. “That’s the RPOF,” Pistilli said, dismayed.

Speaking to the Gateway Pundit on the condition of anonymity due to their role within the party, someone heavily involved in the election detailed how Rubio made an unannounced visit to the party’s quarterly meeting in Orlando on Saturday to personally lobby against Giorno after realizing that she was going to win. 

“He rigged it,” they stated.

“Giorno was responsible for the Florida primary, she cleared the field for Trump,” the source told the Gateway Pundit. “When you clear the field for the anti-establishment candidate, you don’t make a lot of friends.”

On Friday evening, Giorno and her opponent Kathleen King held dueling receptions to garner support ahead of Saturday’s vote. Giorno, who was endorsed by Citizens for Trump, Bikers for Trump, the MAGA Coalition, Sebastian Gorka, and many others within the MAGA movement, had roughly 150-175 lively people in attendance. King only had a small fraction of supporters attend her own.

According to a count by those close to her campaign, Giorno was in the lead by approximately 20 votes going into Saturday’s election.

Chris Cox, the founder of Bikers for Trump, who was in Florida campaigning for Giorno confirmed to the Gateway Pundit that their informal whip polling had her with approximately 90 votes on Friday, yet on Saturday she only received 48.

Multiple sources within the party told the Gateway Pundit that RPOF chairman Blaise Ingoglia had sent trackers to the receptions to determine which voting members were stopping by Giorno’s event.

The visible contrast in support, they said, appeared to spook the establishment members of the party who did not want to see a close ally of our president take the reigns. Panicked, Ingoglia suddenly added Rubio to the agenda ahead of the morning’s vote. It is highly unusual for a sitting senator to attend one of these meetings and the party itself is not supposed to have a dog in the fight.

“I thought we had about 90 in the bag, when they came out and said 48 to King’s 128 I was flabbergasted,” Cox said. “I was beside myself and couldn’t believe it. The math didn’t add up. Later it came out that Rubio had come in at the last second and was using the power of his office to influence these county chairmen.”

Sources close to the election told GWP that the senator personally met with several people who had previously committed to vote for Giorno and that they inexplicably flipped the other way after discussions with him.

“The establishment went into preservation mode. Marco shows up and pulled aside Giorno’s supporters, including one who is running for State Representative. If you’re running for State Rep and a sitting senator pulls you aside — you’re going to do whatever he says,” the source said. “These are the types of things that were happening.”

One anonymous source repeatedly referred to Rubio’s interference as “collusion” and compared it to the Democratic National Committee and Debbie Wasserman-Schultz rigging the 2016 primary race against Bernie Sanders. 

The sentiment was echoed by Cox and Pistilli.

“It’s a good old boys system,” Cox said. “King, this woman who won, the whole premise was that she was entitled to it. She was next in line — it was her turn. It was similar to the Hillary Clinton narrative.”

Pistilli added that, “it was her turn, if you know what I mean. I was saying to myself, am I with a bunch of Democrats right now? This is what Democrats do — they eat their own. They’re obstructionists and they don’t like Trump.”

“The way that Karen was treated, I can’t find the words. It was so disheartening for me. Here is a woman that they should respect immensely for everything she has done for the Republican Party. She was the head of the Trump campaign in Florida! She brought our party the victory!” Pistilli said. “Instead of praising her, they demeaned her.”

Pistilli explained that aside from the spying and disrespect, the Never-Trump members of the RPOF were spreading fake news to smear her.

“Karen clearly should have won and was the most qualified for the job. She’s a phone call away from the president and is close to the governor. Instead we put a woman who is a lifer within the RPOF without any big accomplishments into the job because ‘it’s her turn,’” Pistilli said. “They didn’t want a MAGA coalition leader because they are Never-Trumpers.”

King will now be replacing Sharon Day, who was recently appointed by Trump as the US ambassador to Costa Rica.

“The RPOF doesn’t stand for the Republican Party of Florida, it stands for the Rubio Party of Florida,” Cox told the Gateway Pundit.

Cox asserted that Rubio is a chameleon who actively undermined the President of the United States with his actions.

“We were just trying to ensure that at least one of the three votes at the RNC — which would be the chairman, the national committeewoman and the national committeeman — would represent the president and the MAGA movement,” the source said.

Pistilli, for her part, will not be giving up despite the horrible mistreatment of Trump supporters.

“All aboard the Trump Train because we are now going into the RPOF! That’s my new mission,” Pistilli said.

She explained that the only way you can vote is to become a member of a Republican Executive Committee or join the RPOF — and that she will now be working to flood their ranks with Trump supporters to vote the Never-Trumpers out and take the party back.

“It’s very scary, but I have never stopped and will never stop fighting. Blaise [Ingoglia] needs to understand that right now these cards are stacked against him because we aren’t going away,” Pistilli said, noting that the people who volunteered for Trump and Giorno were also paying attention to what happened with the votes. “Those people sitting in that room and voting — they don’t go out and knock doors, they don’t make phone calls — all they are is a bunch of people with titles. They’re a bunch of opportunists.”

The new year had barely emerged when we were caught up in the latest leftist plot to yet again raise doubts about the Trump Presidency. This time it is clear that our friends on the left put a lot of time and effort – and money – into a wall-concocted scheme pursuant to their never-ending fantasy of bringing down the President. Will it work, or has this latest effort finally exposed the malicious undercurrent of hatred for what it is – a desperate effort to assuage the paranoia of a group of cry babies who just can’t get over that their candidate lost and Trump won?

On the face of it, the allegations raised in the book are so outrageous that even many members of the opposition are scratching their heads. The author himself is not a newcomer to this scandalous smear campaign strategy. Watching his interviews over the past days, it is clear that his common theme is equivocation.

He doesn’t answer a single question directly; he dances around the queries and – like any good con man, he obfuscates the dialogue with platitudes and half-answers. Make no mistake about it, this latest bombshell was well-planned, well-funded, and well-conceived . It was almost too good – and there lies the rub. Like a Hollywood script for an action drama, the actor’s lines are predictable and pedestrian. After  a while, the audience hits a stone wall of disbelief.

Let’s look at some of the more outrageous allegations. The author would have us believe that the entire Trump family thinks their patriarch is a loon. Right, and if you believe that, I have some land I would sell you in the Everglades. The Trump family is smart, politically savvy, and quite used to being in the spotlight. Even if they weren’t aware they were being formally interviewed, there is no way they would go on the record with salacious comments about the new President. The author can claim all he wants that he has “notes and recordings” of these comments. I’d like to hear them. I bet you’re not going to hear a single recording of Ivanka, Jared, Trump, Jr., or any other family member trashing the Donald. For one thing, you can’t record someone unless they give permission, and if they didn’t give permission, it is a criminal act to do so.

As for the “notes,” I wouldn’t believe the paper they’re printed on. Sure, if the author interviewed staff members and sat in on a number of staff meetings over the course of months – anybody could string together a dialogue from multiple venues, taken out of context, and assembling them into a purported “quote.” It’s the oldest journalistic trick in the books. We see it every day, employed by our friends on the left, to convince us of such things that the world is flat, armgeddon is just around the corner, or “climate change” (I.e., CO2 emissions)  is really responsible for floods, blizzards, hurricanes, earthquakes, and “global warming.”

Come on, guys, do you really think we’re buying this? The problem is that the left is so obsessed with taking down Trump that they fabricate stories on a daily basis just to keep us Trumpers reeling on our heels, and they are relentless in their Machiavellian ways. But this time they have gone too far.

When a fabrication is so outrageous and unbelievable that even the members of the cabal are doubting, the jig is up. If I were running the White House Communications office, I wouldn’t grace this latest leftist plot with one more statement. Of course, it is easy for me to say – my family isn’t being attacked and ridiculed. We know our President doesn’t cotton well to smears against his family. It’s hard to ignore. But sometimes, you have to turn the other cheek and move on.

This, too, will be yesterday’s news. But this time, doubt will begin to creep into even the most loyal anti-Trumpers, and their credibility rating will begin to erode. Slowly but surely, it will decline. Sure, Michael Wolff will make his millions, but it is only a fleeting moment of fame. His career as a journalist and TV celebrity is over. Another career up in smoke for a momentary short term gain. There is nothing as old as yesterday’s news.

It was classic liar-nObama, never letting a crisis go to waste. He took advantage of an uncommon disaster as a pretext for aggressively pushing his leftist economic and climate agenda under the guise of needing to protect the environment. liar-nObama’s decision negatively impacted the nation’s economy as well as the federal government’s coffers. From 2008 to 2016, the fed saw a drop from $18 billion down to $2.8 billion in offshore activities tax revenue.

          In announcing the policy change, Zinke said, “We’re embarking on a new path for energy dominance in America, particularly on offshore. This is a clear difference between energy weakness and energy dominance. We are going to become the strongest energy superpower.” The Interior Department then announced that it would hold at least 47 lease sales between 2019 and 2024, the majority of which would be off the coast of Alaska and in the Gulf of Mexico. The proposal would also free up the waters off the California coast, which have been closed to drilling since 1969.
          From a national security and economic stand point, Trump’s good move will benefit the country. It would significantly further the U.S.’s move toward energy independence, stimulate more economic growth and increase government revenue. However, politically speaking, it will be met with some resistance. Already, two Florida Republicans, Gov. Rick Scott and Sen. Marco Rubio, have pushed back on the plan, requesting that Florida’s coastal waters remain under liar-mObama’s moratorium. North Carolina has also responded coldly to the news. The reality is that both these states rely heavily on coastal tourism and fear the potential economic consequences from negative public perception of offshore energy drilling.
          But the fact remains that reversing liar-nObama’s extreme moratorium does not change the fact that the U.S. has the world’s most stringent regulations when it comes to offshore drilling. by Jordan Candler:  EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt is without a doubt one of the most all-around hated members of President Donald Trump’s team. The reason? Under Pruitt’s predecessor, Gina McCarthy, environmental protection was merely a misnomer. The overarching goal was to circumvent Congress by legislating essentially from Barack liar-nObama’s desk. For the Left, this was a desirable exploitation of power that helped fulfill an agenda. Therefore, Pruitt’s federalist-inspired ideology and leadership came under immense scrutiny, which began before he even took the reins.

          Now, after a year’s worth of regulatory rollbacks, a Washington Post article laments on “How Scott Pruitt turned the EPA into one of Trump’s most powerful tools.” The title alone is laughable and entirely backwards, as implies that it is Pruitt, not McCarthy, who turned the agency into a power-hungry leviathan. The story itself explains that Pruitt did nothing of the sort.
          The Post reports, “In legal maneuvers and executive actions, in public speeches and closed-door meetings with industry groups, [Pruitt] has moved to shrink the agency’s reach, alter its focus, and pause or reverse numerous environmental rules. The effect has been to steer the EPA in the direction sought by those being regulated.” Amazingly, the Post goes on to make a baffling comparison between Pruitt and McCarthy: “The two share something in common: a willingness to use the agency’s broad executive authority to act unilaterally.”
          We can’t recall the Post ever making such a big deal out of McCarthy’s abuse of power. In other words, what the media believes wasn’t a problem under McCarthy is today exceedingly dangerous. After all, as the Post writes, “Pruitt has begun to dismantle former president Barack liar-nObama’s environmental legacy, halting the agency’s efforts to combat climate change and to shift the nation away from its reliance on fossil fuels.” Besides, how can anyone possibly draw comparisons between a person who oversteps her role with unconstitutional rules and another who wants things done in a legal manner?
          The fact of the matter is, the EPA was one of Barack liar-nObama’s most powerful weapons in his quest to fundamentally transform America. If the Post’s lousy headline is meant to suggest that Pruitt is one of Trump’s most effective team members in returning toward limited government, then yes. But if it’s implying Pruitt is as power-hungry and corrupt as liar-nObama and his EPA administrator, then absolutely not. The EPA needs to be brought back to an equilibrium, which is what Pruitt is doing. And kudos to him for doing so amidst the unfair treatment and the dirt being thrown at him.
