{washingtonexaminer.com} ~ House Intelligence Committee chairman Devin Nunes has issued an angry demand to the FBI and Department of Justice to explain... why they kept the committee in the dark over the reason Special Counsel Robert Mueller kicked a key supervising FBI agent off the Trump-Russia investigation. Stories in both the Washington Post and New York Times on Saturday reported that Peter Strzok, who played a key role in the original FBI investigation into the Trump-Russia matter, and then a key role in Mueller's investigation, and who earlier had played an equally critical role in the FBI's liar-Hillary Clinton email investigation, was reassigned out of the Mueller office because of anti-Trump texts he exchanged with a top FBI lawyer, Lisa Page, with whom Strzok was having an extramarital affair. Strzok was transferred to the FBI's human resources office — an obvious demotion -- in July. The Post reported that Strzok and Page exchanged text messages that "expressed anti-Trump sentiments and other comments that appeared to favor liar-Clinton."..  http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/byron-york-nunes-blows-up-threatens-contempt-after-fbi-stonewalls-house-on-russia-investigator-demoted-for-anti-trump-bias/article/2642387

{gatestoneinstitute.org} ~ Palestinian Authority (PA) President Mahmoud Abbas continues to mouth his "desire" to achieve peace with Israel on the basis of a two-state solution... Abbas's ruling Fatah faction and PLO partners, however, evidently have a different agenda: to wage war on Israel until the "liberation of all of Palestine." In a speech delivered on his behalf by Riyad Mansour, the Palestinian envoy to the United Nations, on November 30, Abbas repeated his commitment to a two-state solution based on international law and the 1967 "borders." Abbas called on the UN "to force Israel to recognize the State of Palestine based on the 1967 borders as the basis for a two-state solution, and to agree on a demarcation of borders in line with the resolutions of the international community."...   https://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/11477/palestinians-missed-opportunities

{foxnews.com} ~ Capping months of speculation, President Trump on Monday signed a pair of executive orders to significantly shrink two of Utah’s national monuments... Bears Ears and the Grand Staircase-Escalante – that were created by his Democratic predecessors. The controversial move was pitched by Trump as a win for states' rights and follows an April review conducted by Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke on the boundaries of large national monuments. The review initially looked at more than two dozen sites designated by presidential decree since the 1990s. Trump’s presidential proclamations cut Bears Ears by 85 percent and Grand Staircase-Escalante in half. The action is also likely to trigger a legal battle that could alter the government’s approach to conservation...   http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2017/12/04/trump-shrinks-utah-monuments-created-by-obama-clinton.html

{jpost.com} ~ If the Palestinians are counting on a strong response from Arab states if the Trump administration recognizes Jerusalem as Israel’s capital... they are likely to be disappointed. Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyadh Malki called Sunday for an emergency meeting of the Arab League amid US media reports that US President Donald Trump is going to deliver a speech on Wednesday in which he will recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. But the bitter reality for the Palestinians is that key Arab countries – Saudi Arabia, Egypt and even Jordan with its Palestinian majority and role as custodian of Jerusalem holy sites – are simply too dependent on US goodwill to get into a real row with the Trump administration. This is a case where each of their national interests trumps Arab solidarity...  http://www.jpost.com/Arab-Israeli-Conflict/Arab-states-will-likely-cave-if-US-declares-Jerusalem-Israels-capital-515912?utm_source=newsletter&utm_campaign=4-12-2017&utm_content=arab-states-will-likely-cave-if-us-declares-jerusalem-israels-capital-515912

{frontpagemag.com} ~ Petraeus, liar-nObama’s CIA Director, lied to FBI agents about passing classified materials to his mistress... Despite being caught in the lie on a recording, he was never charged for it, as Flynn was. Instead he only pleaded guilty to mishandling classified information and received a slap on the wrist. While Justice Department personnel had wanted to hold Petraeus accountable, the final decision was made by Attorney General Holder and FBI Director Comey. Lawyers for Petraeus insisted that he couldn’t be charged with lying to the FBI because DOJ guidelines recommend not charging “in situations in which a suspect, during an investigation, merely denies guilt in response to questioning by the government.” Petraeus admitted making false statements, but was never charged over them. That’s what makes Flynn’s case so striking. General Petraeus lied about committing a crime. His mishandling of classified information was a serious issue. And yet he was never charged for it... http://www.frontpagemag.com/fpm/268596/flynns-case-proves-its-time-fire-mueller-daniel-greenfield

{townhall.com} ~ Hypocrite –  hip-uh-krit “a person who pretends to have virtues, moral or religious beliefs, principles, etc.  that he or she does not actually possess, especially a person whose actions belie stated beliefs.”

Donald Trump has been president for a year, yet my social media newsfeed and email inbox still overflow with stupefied leftwing evangelicals who hate Trump literally and loathe the conservative Christians that voted for him.

So then, where was the outrage from the same better-than-thou Chardonnay-swirling leftwing evangelical crowd when Christians voted for liar-nObama?

It’s obvious that their condemnation has less to do with evangelicalism or Christianity and more to do with their political leanings.

Otherwise, when liar-nObama was in office, they would have expressed a little of that righteous indignation they currently can’t control when liar-nObama’s policies harmed Christian bakers and nearly sent the Little Sisters of the Poor to the poor house.

If this were about Christian values, they would have joined a “resistance” movement when liar-nObama’s definition of marriage “evolved,” and would have occupied the White House lawn when his administration told boldfaced lies about the slain in Benghazi.

They didn’t hesitate to support a president who was “pro-choice” on third-trimester abortions, but they have zero grace for our current president -- who has already fulfilled promises on key conservative issues like judicial nominations, abortion and religious freedom.

It’s sad to say and quite telling, but Trump’s political positions are more Christian than theirs.

During liar-nObama’s years, there was no condemnation…no resistance…no anger because leftwing evangelicals were more committed to liar-nObama and his leftist policies than they were to Christ.

It doesn’t help that so many evangelical churches today are led by leftist clergy garbed in a cloak of religiosity like one of liar-nObama’s former spiritual advisors, Reverend Jim Wallis, the editor and founder of Sojourners magazine.

In October, Wallis wrote a scathing article titled “The Religious Right Will Rise and Fall with Donald Trump,” condemning evangelical conservatives who support Trump. He wrote, “Trump is the natural conclusion to how the religious right movement began, and what it has become. When it comes to this movement, the operative word is not ‘religious’ or even ‘Christian’, but ‘right.’ And for the vast majority of ‘values voters’ who are white Christians, the operative word is not ‘Christian’ but ‘white.’ ”

Isn’t that swell? Especially coming from a guy whose organization received funding from none other than George Soros’s Open Society Institute, an organization known for financing groups that support atheism, abortion, and one-world government globalism. A few years ago, Jay Richards at the National Review found that Sojourners received $325,000 from Soros’s organization between 2004 and 2007 and “at least forty-nine separate foundation grants…totaling $2,159,346” from organizations like the Tides Foundation and the Wallace Global Fund, “which also supports ACORN and a cornucopia of population-control groups.” Yes, population-control groups.

Wallis was one of eight ordained ministers and four staff members from Sojourners arrested by Capitol police November 30. According to a video posted on the magazine website, the group was detained while protesting the Republican tax plan in the Senate building. They were shouting scriptures while loudly warning senators their souls were in danger if they supported the GOP’s new tax plan. One woman threatened, “Senators, we put you on notice. Your souls are in danger and this is your final warning.”

It’s good to be concerned about souls in danger, but the train jumps the track when we redefine Christianity by cherry-picking scripture and weaponizing biblical principles to make political points. In his day, Jesus had no patience for people like that. He called them “vipers…hypocrites…sons of the devil.”

If words have meaning, and indeed they do, “leftwing evangelicals” might want to drop the oxymoron and choose one label or the other. Lord knows, they can’t be both.

Tax Reform: Political (Pyrrhic) Victory?
uerxk2TlQF9DBz_7jjikduks3kmMhjvbu78ome0F8qPFuiWDUSTVtdyap0V1A964nkF2SuLdXuisTTLmrr-nBz6wcOC1R_pS76Q9tSyMV6VjcoHrM6o41wSL698xZTA=s0-d-e1-ft#%3Ca%20rel%3Dnofollow%20href=?width=500by Nate Jackson:  In the wee hours of Saturday morning, Senate Republicans managed to pass their tax reform package. It’s a “yuge” political win for both the congressional GOP and for President Donald Trump. The bill will now go to conference with the House, as both chambers have passed reform along the same broad outline and compromise before Christmas is quite doable.

There are some caveats to everything we just said, however. Sen. Bob Corker (R-TN) was the lone Republican “no” on the Senate’s bill; he objected to how much it would add to the deficit. We share his concerns about our national debt, but our problem is with the spending side of things. Meanwhile, 13 House Republicans voted against that chamber’s bill, and Democrats, who know how to march in lockstep, were unified in both House and Senate. Thus the lack of any bipartisan consensus, the rushed and opaque work outside regular order, and the middle-of-the-night vote is all somewhat reminiscent of liar-nObamaCare. Will tax reform similarly end up as a Pyrrhic victory for the GOP? Democrats and their media mouthpieces will continue to attack it as “tax cuts for the rich at the expense of the poor,” perhaps costing the GOP control of Congress in 2018.
We’ve certainly done our share of reporting on the mixed bag of the GOP’s reform efforts, and we’d prefer any number of different prescriptions. But politically it’s the overall perception of the bill among the electorate that will matter next year. So Republicans hope that people see through Democrats’ class warfare rhetoric, that biased realtors are wrong about the damage to home prices, and that the Keynesians are underestimating economic growth generated by more Americans keeping more of their money. Leftists are wrong, of course. For one thing, just wait until the lower corporate tax rate results in a stock market boost, adding more money to the 401(k)s of millions of American workers. The economic effect will be good, even if it could be better with policy tweaks.
In short, Republicans are hoping that far-from-perfect tax reform is better than the status quo.

by Jeff Crouere
{townhall.com} ~ While the liberal media is celebrating the announcement that former Trump National Security Adviser Michael Flynn has pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI, a bigger scandal was practically ignored.

On Thursday, Judicial Watch released 29 pages of FBI emails regarding the inexcusable June 27, 2016 meeting between former President liar-Bill Clinton and then Attorney General Loretta Lynch on the tarmac of the Sky Harbor International Airport in Phoenix, AZ. This meeting was not accidental, as liar-Clinton purposely delayed the takeoff of his aircraft to arrange the supposedly impromptu encounter with the Attorney General.

According to Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton, “These new FBI documents show the FBI was more concerned about a whistle-blower who told the truth about the infamous liar-Clinton-Lynch tarmac meeting than the scandalous meeting itself.”

In the midst of a FBI investigation into liar-Hillary Clinton’s “extremely careless” handling of top secret email communications, Lynch held a secretive meeting with her husband. This bombshell information would have never been made public if not for the investigative work of Phoenix television anchor Christopher Sign, who received a tip about the meeting from a “trusted source.”

With an ongoing Justice Department investigation into the improper handling of email communications, it was highly improper for Lynch to agree to the meeting with liar-Bill Clinton just days before FBI agents would interview his wife. Once confronted about the tarmac meeting, Lynch claimed they only discussed golf and grandchildren, which is a completely ludicrous explanation for the 30-minute meeting.

If the meeting was so innocent, why did the Justice Department withhold key documents for so long? After an initial July 7, 2016 Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request by Judicial Watch for documents pertaining to the meeting, the Justice Department claimed that nothing could be located. Only after an official FOIA lawsuit did the department provide the various FBI email exchanges.

As noted by Fitton, the real focus of the emails was to try to locate the leaker who exposed the meeting. One unidentified FBI agent lamented that the meeting was disclosed to the press and claimed that “We need to find that guy” in order to get him fired or sanctioned by his supervisors. The emails show that the FBI believed the source was a Phoenix police officer and one agent expressed a desire to ban the officer from being involved in future security details.

This anger is very indicative of what is wrong with the FBI today. The source who leaked news of the meeting to the local media did a real public service and should be commended. Americans had a right to know that the Attorney General was involved in a questionable meeting while an investigation was purportedly ongoing.  Unfortunately, instead of congratulating the source, the FBI wanted to punish this individual, obviously because they wanted to protect the reputation of the Attorney General and the presidential aspirations of liar-Hillary Clinton.

The FBI should be impartial, not be taking sides in political campaigns. The bureau was obviously politically comprised, much like the IRS during their unfair harassment of Tea Party groups.

In any vigorous and honest FBI investigation, agents should be outraged if the Attorney General held a secret meeting with the spouse of the subject being examined for wrongdoing. Instead agents showed only concern about identifying the police officer who caused the embarrassment. This nonchalant attitude was not shared by Lynch who admitted that the ill-advised meeting “cast a cloud” on the Justice Department’s investigation into liar-Hillary Clinton.

These disclosures lead to the distressing conclusion that the liar-Hillary Clinton investigation was a sham from the very beginning. In fact, when liar-Clinton was finally interviewed by the FBI on July 2, 2016, she was not under oath and there was no recording of the meeting. Several weeks earlier, before the FBI had interviewed liar-Clinton or 17 key witnesses in the investigation, then FBI Director James Comey had already begun drafting her exoneration statement.

These unusual procedures were denounced by U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-IA) and U.S. Senator Lindsay Graham (R-SC) in a joint statement. According to the Senators, “Conclusion first, fact-gathering second—that’s no way to run an investigation.  The FBI should be held to a higher standard than that, especially in a matter of such great public interest and controversy.”

Of course, the Senators are right as the FBI’s handling of this matter was atrocious. A mere three days after the inadequate interview of liar-Clinton, Comey announced that she would not be indicted despite what many legal analysts believe were her clear violations of federal law.

Evidently, the FBI, under the direction of James Comey, had no intention of ever truly investigating liar-Hillary Clinton and bringing charges against her. If there was ever an issue that needed a Special Counsel investigation, it is not “Russian collusion,” but the Justice Department’s collusion with liar-Hillary Clinton.

{rickwells.us} ~ Sometimes politicians admit they were wrong with their words and deeds... other times they let their efforts to correct the damage they’ve done do the talking for them.  Angela Merkel would never admit she seriously injured Germany and the rest of Europe as the EU invasion master but her actions indicate she’s fully aware she’s created a monster and is now feebly and likely fruitlessly trying to bail her nation and herself out with taxpayer cash. The German people are covering the expenses of what might be called Merkel’s “Get out and get a check” scheme, where rejected asylum-seekers who voluntarily move back home to their nation of origin, not to another EU nation, receive a cash bonus of 3,000 Euros, ($3,570). The unwanted foreigners have until February 28th to apply and would receive their payment once they are in their home nation. But that’s not all, there’s more potential cash for those Merkel imports willing to self-deport...  https://rickwells.us/merkel-migrant-destroying-germany/

{investigativeproject.org} ~ It began in 2007 after a lengthy, expensive and mostly closed-door inquiry the led to a $10.5 million payoff to Maher Arar... Arar was a joint Canadian-Syrian citizen under pre-9/11 investigation by the RCMP and others regarding his activities and associations related to Islamist terrorism. Despite being aware of the investigation, Arar left Canada in 2002 for extended international travel and was detained when he flew into New York. He then was transferred by U.S. officials to Syria. He subsequently claimed he was tortured because of information provided by Canadian officials. Canadians learned last month that their government awarded $31.25 million to three of Arar's associates who were also under RCMP and U.S. terrorism investigations – Abdullak Almalki, Abou el Maati and Muayyed Nurredin – to settle their civil lawsuit...  https://www.investigativeproject.org/7008/why-is-canada-cutting-checks-to-suspected

{rickwells.us} ~ The citizens of Portland, Oregon have themselves to blame and their fellow libtard sanctuary city supporters and facilitators... for the fact that a 20-time deported Mexican illegal with a long criminal history brutally raped two of their female citizens. On Friday, Sergio Jose Martinez, 31, was sentenced to 35 years in prison in that leftist stronghold after he pled guilty to kidnapping, sexual assault, sodomy and multiple other serious offenses. In addition to the physical harm he caused his victims and the emotional trauma of their experiences to all involved, Martinez smiled throughout the sentencing and told the family members he’d see them all in hell. That’s the kind of individual the City of Portland protects instead of taking care of their innocent citizens... https://rickwells.us/sanctuary-city-rapist-taunts/

{westernjournalism.com} ~ Fox News chief White House correspondent John Roberts revealed Friday on live TV the identity of the official... who reportedly told former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn to talk to the Russian government about sanctions imposed by the U.S. on Russia. In court papers filed Friday, special counsel Robert Mueller referred to a “senior” official on then-President-elect Donald Trump’s transition team. On Dec. 29, 2016, Flynn contacted that official to determine what he should tell then-Russian Ambassador to the U.S. Sergey Kislyak about those sanctions, according to Mueller. Reporting from outside the White House, Roberts identified that “senior” official as K.T. McFarland, the former deputy national security adviser who is currently waiting to be confirmed by the Senate as the ambassador to Singapore..https://www.westernjournalism.com/fox-news-reveals-identity-unnamed-trump-official-directed-flynn-contact-russians/?utm_source=Email&utm_medium=conservativebyte&utm_campaign=dailypm&utm_content=libertyalliance

{truthrevolt.org} ~ Five months ago, 28 year old Ziv Moyal, an Israeli security officer at Israel’s embassy in Amman, was stabbed in his apartment by a Jordanian assailant, whom he shot and killed.

Moyal also accidentally killed his Jordanian landlord, who was present on the scene.

Incited by the state-controlled media, the Jordanian public was whipped into an anti-Israel frenzy. In short order, a mob surrounded the embassy, to which Moyal and another 20 Israeli diplomats fled immediately after the incident.

For 24 hours, those Israeli diplomats, led by Ambassador Einat Schlein were besieged.

Despite the fact that they are barred from doing so under the Vienna Convention, Jordanian authorities demanded to interrogate Moyal. By refusing to enable the diplomats to safely return to Israel until Moyal submitted to questioning, they effectively held Schlein and her colleagues hostage.

It took the intervention of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to end the life-threatening crisis. The price of Jordan’s King Abdullah II for the freedom and protection of Israel’s diplomatic personnel was high. In exchange for their safe passage, Netanyahu agreed to permit Jordanian officials to be present during Moyal’s questioning by Israeli officials. He also succumbed to Abdullah’s demand that Israeli police remove metal detectors from the Temple Mount, which had been deployed a few days before amid widescale violence by Muslim worshipers against Jews.

Since its diplomats were evacuated in July, Israel’s embassy has been closed. Jordan has refused to permit Schlein to return to her duties and has insisted that Moyal be tried for the death of his assailant and his landlord.

It was reported Wednesday that in the interest of ending the diplomatic crisis and reopening its embassy, Netanyahu has decided to promote Schlein to a senior position in the Foreign Ministry and appoint a replacement.

But Jordan isn’t interested in ending the crisis.

On Thursday, Reuters quoted a Jordanian diplomatic source saying that a new Israeli ambassador “will not be welcome in Jordan until a due legal process takes its course against Moyal and justice is served.”

So, unless Israel criminally prosecutes its diplomat who was attacked in his home by a terrorist, Jordan will continue to breach its peace treaty with Israel and bar the Israeli embassy from operating in Amman.

Jordan’s latest round of diplomatic war against Israel took place while Abdullah was in Washington on a “working visit.”

More often than not, Abdullah, who is touted by the US as a moderate leader and a US ally, spends his visits in Washington lobbying against Israel. And, given his reputation as a moderate, he is usually successful.

This week’s visit was no different.

According to the Jordanian media – which he controls – Abdullah is devoting significant time in his meetings with senior administration and Congressional officials to attacking Israel.

Specifically, Abdullah is lobbying against President Donald Trump’s intention to move the US embassy to Jerusalem, in accordance with US law.

On Friday, Trump will have to sign a semi-annual waiver of the 1995 Jerusalem Embassy Act.

The act requires the State Department to relocate the embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. If Trump doesn’t sign the waiver, the embassy will automatically be moved to Jerusalem, in accordance with the law.

Speculation that Trump may refuse to sign the waiver was raised this week by Vice President Mike Pence. In his speech at a UN event marking the 70th anniversary of the UN vote to end the British Mandate in the land of Israel and partition the land between a Jewish state and an Arab state, Pence made clear that moving the embassy is being actively discussed.

According the Times of Jordan, Abdullah told senior US lawmakers that “moving the embassy… could be potentially exploited by terrorists to stoke anger, frustration and desperation in order to spread their ideologies.”

During his visit, Abdullah also met with Pence, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and Trump’s national security adviser, H.R. McMaster.

Although Jordanian media reports of those visits did not include information regarding the possible move of the US embassy, it stands to reason that Abdullah made similar points to Pence and McMaster.

It can only be hoped that Abdullah’s warnings were rebuked by his American interlocutors.

Because, if terrorists are motivated to act in the wake of a US decision to move the embassy, Jordan will hold a significant share of the blame.

To understand why, it is important to remember what happened last July in Amman. Had Abdullah ordered his media organs to either tell the truth about what happened at Moyal’s apartment or simply not report the incident at all until the embassy staff were safely in Israel, the diplomatic crisis would have been averted.

Abdullah chose, instead, to stoke the passions of his people, which wasn’t difficult. Thanks to decades of antisemitic incitement at the hands of his media, school system and religious authorities, the people of Jordan are overwhelmingly antisemitic. And this suits Abdullah just fine. He, too, is largely sympathetic to anti-Israeli terrorism and terrorists.

It isn’t surprising that Abdullah acted as he did. His position on terrorism against Israelis is by and large supportive.

Last March, for instance, Abdullah rejected the US’s extradition request for Hamas terrorist and mass murderer Ahlam Tamimi, the mastermind of the 2001 Sbarro bombing in Jerusalem.

Fifteen people, including seven children were murdered in the attack. Tamimi selected the Sbarro pizzeria as her target because of the large number of children who frequented the eatery during summer vacation.

She was sentenced to 16 life-in-prison sentences, but was released in Israel’s exchange of Hamas terrorists for captive IDF sergeant Gilad Schalit in 2011. Upon her release, she moved to Amman where Abdullah gave her the red carpet treatment. In her new home, Tamimi hosts a show on Hamas’s television station. She uses her platform to incite terrorism and indoctrinate her viewers to aspire to murder Israelis, as she did.

Several of Tamimi’s victims at Sbarro were American citizens, including 15-year-old Malki Roth and 31-year-old Shoshana Judy Greenbaum.

Greenbaum was five months pregnant when her body was blown apart.

By harboring Tamimi, Abdullah tells his subjects they are right to hate Israelis and seek to work toward Israel’s destruction.

This brings us to the question of Trump’s possible decision to move the US embassy in Israel to Israel’s capital.

By having his media spew a constant diet of genocidal antisemitism, Abdullah is all but guaranteeing that the terrorism he warns of will occur if Trump enforces US law and moves the embassy. So he is not speaking as a worried friend when he tells his American hosts of the dire consequences of moving the embassy. He is threatening them with an outcome for which he will have significant responsibility.

One of the reasons Abdullah feels comfortable making the argument that moving the embassy will provoke terrorism is because that is the argument that has been used successfully to block the transfer of the US embassy to Israel in the past.

But, in October, we received a clear indication that these Chicken Little warnings are untrue.

In October, Trump overruled Secretary of Defense James Mattis, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and McMaster, and chose not to tell Congress that Iran was in compliance of the nuclear deal the Iranians were breaching. Supporters of the nuclear deal in the administration and outside of it warned that such a move would have a deeply destabilizing impact on the region and endanger the US.

As the past three months have shown, those warnings were entirely wrong.

The world did not explode after Trump rejected the received wisdom of the foreign policy establishment in Washington. Instead, the US’s Sunni-Arab allies have been empowered to join forces to combat Iran. Economically and diplomatically, Iran is far more isolated globally today than it was three months ago.

Moreover, Trump now has the ability to base US policy toward Iran on reality rather than clinging to the lie of Iranian moderation and compliance with the nuclear deal.

No, Trump has not mapped out a clear strategy for containing and scaling back Iranian power. If he had, the US would have stopped arming and funding the Iranian-controlled Lebanese Armed Forces by now.

But, at least he hasn’t based an Iran policy on fantasy as his predecessor Barack liar-nObama did.

Moreover, even the limited steps Trump has taken toward developing a strategy for dealing with Iran have been effective and rational. For instance, to protect the nuclear deal and maintain its claim that Iran was formally complying with its terms, the liar-nObama administration paid the Iranian regime $8.6 million to buy heavy water that Iran produced in excess of the quantities permitted under the nuclear deal.

This week, the White House announced that it would stop this practice. As a National Security Council spokesman told the Washington Free Beacon, “The United States is not planning to purchase any Iranian heavy water. We have made it clear to Iran that it is their responsibility to remain under the heavy water limit.”

The sky didn’t fall when Trump bucked the collected wisdom of the entire foreign policy elite in Washington, including his top three national security advisers. By basing his policy on reality, he expanded his maneuver room, empowered US allies and began basing US policies toward Iran on reality.

Moreover, Trump now has the ability to base US policy toward Iran on reality rather than clinging to the lie of Iranian moderation and compliance with the nuclear deal.

‘No Justice!’ — Trump Claims Flynn Held

To Higher Standard Than liar-Hillary Clinton

by PETER HASSON

{dailycaller.com} ~ President Trump slammed the FBI and Department of Justice on Twitter Saturday night... claiming that former national security adviser Michael Flynn is being held to a higher standard than former secretary of state liar-Hillary Clinton was during the FBI investigation into her email server. Flynn pleaded guilty on Friday to lying to the FBI as part of the investigation into Russian meddling into the 2016 election. “So General Flynn lies to the FBI and his life is destroyed, while Crooked liar-Hillary Clinton, on that now famous FBI holiday “interrogation” with no swearing in and no recording, lies many times…and nothing happens to her?” Trump tweeted. “Rigged system, or just a double standard?”...Trump tell that to Session also.

Mueller aide fired for anti-Trump texts now facing review for role in liar-Clinton email probe

by James Rosen

{foxnews.com} ~ Two senior Justice Department officials have confirmed to Fox News that the department's Office of Inspector General... is reviewing the role played in the liar-Hillary Clinton email investigation by Peter Strzok, a former deputy director for counterintelligence at the FBI who was removed from the staff of Special Counsel Robert S. Mueller III earlier this year, after Mueller learned that Strzok had exchanged anti-Trump texts with a colleague. A source close to the matter said the OIG probe, which will examine Strzok's roles in a number of other politically sensitive cases, should be completed by "very early next year."  The task will be exceedingly complex, given Strzok's consequential portfolio. He participated in the FBI's fateful interview with liar-Hillary Clinton on July 2, 2016 – just days before then-FBI Director James Comey announced he was declining to recommend prosecution of Mrs. liar-Clinton in connection with her use, as secretary of state, of a private email server... http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2017/12/03/mueller-aide-fired-for-anti-trump-texts-now-facing-review-for-role-in-clinton-email-probe.html

Palestinians Promise Explosion of Violence if Trump Recognizes Jerusalem as Israel's Capital

by israeltoday.co.il

{israeltoday.co.il} ~ Rumors are rife that US President Donald Trump will officially recognize a united Jerusalem as the capital of the State of Israel sometime this week... possibly in lieu of actually moving the US Embassy to the Holy City in the short term. But the Palestinian leadership is warning that if Trump takes either of those steps, they will unleash a wave of terrorist violence that will affect the entire world.  "Any American declaration of recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel – if there is one – would mean total destruction of the peace process," senior Palestinian Authority advisor Mahmoud Al-Habbash told reporters on Saturday. "The whole world will pay a price for any change or harm to the political reality of Jerusalem."...Palestinians can go to hell.   http://www.israeltoday.co.il/NewsItem/tabid/178/nid/32875/Default.aspx

A COMMONSENSE TUTORIAL

by Burt Prelutsky

A few years ago, I saw a need and tried to fill it in my own some small way. I approached a small college devoted to the visual arts and architecture in Pasadena, CA, seeking a teaching gig.

As things turned out, I might have been able to obtain a position teaching a course in screenplays, but there are already too many unemployed screenwriters presumably teaching that stuff to far too many people who are, themselves, destined to join the ranks of the terminally unemployed.

It was my suggestion that I inaugurate a course in logic or commonsense or learning how to think, as opposed to what to think, which has become the sole mission of far too many academic propagandists.

I never even got far enough along to discuss a salary. The authorities turned me down flat.

Well, just because I lack a classroom is no reason I shouldn’t share some of the things I would have wished to pass along to the students.

First off, I would have told them to begin using their instincts. For instance, if a professor insists that socialism is preferable to capitalism and that, furthermore, blacks and Hispanics deserve the advantages of Affirmative Action, ask them why they themselves continue living in a hopelessly capitalist society when they could achieve Nirvana by simply packing up and moving to Cuba, China, Venezuela or North Korea.

Then follow up that question with a second: Why, assuming them to be white, were they holding down a job, which, by their own admission, should be the birthright of a far more-deserving black or Hispanic?

And, finally, force them to explain why, if socialism is as wonderful as they claim, a North Korean soldier, suffering from tuberculosis, hepatitis and an intestinal tract teeming with parasites, would risk being shot five times by actual count to escape from Paradise.

Instinct or intuition, which is commonly and mistakenly presumed to be a feminine attribute, is relied upon by those in life and death situations; namely, soldiers and cops.  A veteran cop will scan a block and somehow know in his gut that something is amiss, or he’ll spot a couple of guys seemingly minding their own business and be willing to bet next month’s salary that they’re up to no good.

Some people, if they’re smart enough or have learned a few things over the years know better than to confuse politicians of either party with moral leaders. In fact, if you’re getting your principles from politicians, you’re a fool.

I like to think I have principles, but I also have priorities. That means I am far more concerned with how a guy is going to vote than whether he pinched someone’s butt in the distant or even not so distant past.

A vote should never be mistaken as an endorsement of the man or woman’s character. If character really counted in public life, we would probably have to make do with five senators and a dozen or so warm bodies in the House.  Unfortunately, the 535 members of Congress, most of them dopes or weasels, get to decide how the rest of us live. Therefore, it behooves us to elect those most likely to reflect our wishes as individuals and as Americans.

If it bothers you to vote for one politician over another because of their moral lapses, keep in mind that you are not privy to all the facts. These days, you only need to wait a week or two before the candidate you thought was the moral superior to the guy you voted against turns out to be an even more disgusting degenerate.

At times, you simply have to overlook the many things Republicans in Washington don’t get done and focus, instead, on the things that the Democrats do.

But please feel free, however, to penalize the riffraff who populate show business.  If you’re offended by their creepy behavior, stop going to their movies, tuning into their TV shows, buying their CDs or attending their concerts.

● Speaking of which, it took a very long time, but creepy Al Franken has finally begun saying funny things. He finally deigned to comment on the allegations that during photo ops with Minnesota voters, he was grabbing the tushies of women who, for some bizarre reason, craved photographic proof that they had once been in the presence of the human warthog. He explained: “I have taken thousands of pictures with people in crowded, often chaotic, situations.” Or, if that's not good enough, he added: "I'm a warm person. I hug people."

While I like to think I'm a warm person, and although I can’t claim to have been photographed as often as the senator, I’ve never once found myself with my hands inexplicably on some stranger's fanny.

Thus far, we have only heard allegations made about Franken in his political life. I am still waiting for the nubile young females who make up the bulk of the gofers on TV shows, such as “Saturday Night Live,” to come forward and show us Franken’s fingerprints.

● Like Orrin Hatch, who blew his stack when the Democrats kept insisting that the tax bill only favored the rich, I am sick and tired of millionaires such as Chuck clown-Schumer, Nancy Pulosi and Dianne Feinstein, insisting that the GOP is the party of millionaires and billionaires.

Most of the wealthiest Americans Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, Ted Turner, Jeff Bezos, Tom Steyer, Mark Zuckerberg, Larry Page, George Soros, David Geffen, Sam Zell, Steven Spielberg, Mark Cuban, Barry Diller, Oprah Winfrey, Mort Zuckerman) are liberal zealots.

Although I find it abominable that nearly half of all Americans pay no income tax, it’s a fact the richest seven or eight percent pick up roughly 70% of the tab for the nation. But when those calling for the rest of us to pay more taxes pull financial shenanigans in order to pay less, I believe a flag should be thrown.

Warren Buffet, who famously complained that his secretary paid a higher tax rate than he did, fought the IRS tooth and claw for years on end to avoid paying his corporate taxes. Recently, the repulsive George Soros moved $18 billion into a foundation in order to avoid paying his own “fair share” to Uncle Sam.

● I have admitted that I don’t care to join groups, even those dedicated to promoting conservative issues and candidates. My problem is that I am unwilling to hand over my inalienable right to speak for myself to others, and I am often surprised by how many conservatives don’t even think twice about doing so.

● The liberals are doing their darndest to tie Paul Manafort to Donald Trump, even though Trump fired the man and replaced him with Kellyanne Conway fairly early in the campaign. At the same time, they ignore the fact that even as the FBI was closing in on a group of Islamic ITs led by Imran Awan, and tied to the Muslim Brotherhood, Rep. Debbie Wasserman-Schultz refused to sign his pink slip. It was only after Mr. Awan was arrested while trying to flee the country that Mrs. Wasserman-Schultz finally got around to removing him from the federal payroll.

Awan and his associates all had security access to computers belonging to congressional libs, but Mrs. Wasserman-Schultz defended her reluctance to question their illegal activities because it would have constituted Islamophobia on her part!

● As I see people, particularly those in their teens and twenties, walking around with their noses two inches from their electronic toys, it occurs to me that, thanks to the anti-social network, never in human history have so many people with absolutely nothing to say spent so much time saying it.

Why couldn’t I come up with a religion of my very own?

Report Details Links Between Georgetown Univ’s Islamic Studies Dept and Radical Islam

Georgetown University, the United States’ oldest Catholic university, now a bastion of radical islam?

via New Report Details Links Between Georgetown University’s Islamic Studies Department and Radical Islam – The Georgetown Review

The Georgetown Review secured a report from academic watchdog Campus Watch, a project of the Middle East Forum, that details troubling financial and ideological connections between Georgetown’s various Middle East studies faculty and Islamism, anti-Western scholarship, and anti-Semitism dating back to the 1970s.

Entitled “Islamists, Apologists, and Fellow Travelers: Middle East Studies Faculty at Georgetown,” the report segments the professors at the center of the Campus Watch investigation into two categories, the “old” and “new” guard, and illustrates the questionable ideological and political affiliations of the field’s most prominent staff.

Among these employees is John Esposito, the founding director of the Alwaleed Center for Muslim-Christian Understanding (ACMCU). According to Campus Watch, Esposito began the program’s transition to radicalism. For example, in 2005, Esposito secured a $20 million gift from Saudi Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal to support and expand the Center’s mission. Since this donation, ACMCU has been criticized as a “magnet for Arab and Muslim money,” as the Center developed ties to individuals and organizations directly involved in Islamic terrorism. These include convicted Palestinian Islamic Jihad leader Sami Al-Arian, Yusuf al-Qaradawi, the Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas Operative Azzam Tamimi and his Institute for Islamic Political Thought, and Hamas Spokesman Ahmad Yusuf.

Esposito has also tweeted links to vicious articles attacking a now-late Holocaust-survivor for being “anti-Palestinian” as well as claiming that Israeli soldiers have used Palestinian children as “soccer balls.” He has praised Yusuf al-Qaradawi, who has expressed repeated support for suicide bombing, including against American service members in Iraq.

Fast forward to today and the current director, Jonathan Brown, has not simply cemented Esposito’s poisonous legacy, but extended it. Our readers might remember Jonathan Brown as the professor who defended Islamic slavery and rape in early 2017. Brown is also a signatory to the Religious Studies Scholars Statement of Solidarity with the Palestinians BDS Movement and the 2014 Academic Boycott of Israel letter.

The report argues that this increasingly biased focus contradicts the Center’s mission of creating a free and open dialogue between faiths. In order to remedy this polarization and to combat anti-Semitic tendencies, Campus Watch calls for Georgetown University to adhere to academic integrity with the presentation of rigorously derived, unbiased information to its students; the certainty that funds given to the Middle East studies departments are promoting non-partisan scholarship; and a reining in of anti-Semitic and anti-American ideologies.

Southern Poverty Law Center Refuses to Label Antifa a Hate Group

The Southern Poverty Law Center refuses to label the left-wing extremist organization antifa a hate group.

The SPLC’s “hate map” features groups and organizations that it classifies as hateful according to its own criteria. On this map, people can find the U.S. Border Patrol and the Family Research Council.

However, the antifa label is nowhere to be found, The Washington Times reported.

Although there are countless videos demonstrating the left-wing extremist organization’s violent behavior and rhetoric, SPLC president Richard Cohen believes that antifa doesn’t demonstrate hate.

“If you are familiar with our work, we write about antifa often,” Cohen said Thursday in a testimony he gave to the House Homeland Security Committee. “We condemn their tactics — I’ve said so publicly and we do so always — but antifa is not a group that vilifies people on the basis of race, ethnicity, religion and the like.”

Pennsylvania Republican Scott Perry told the SPLC during Cohen’s testimony on domestic terrorism that the SPLC “reduces” their “credibility” by refusing to add antifa to their list of hate groups.

“So you’re OK with antifa as long as they don’t say things that you don’t agree with, but it’s OK if they hit people on the head with a bike lock or set things on fire or riot and flout the law by wearing face masks and incite riots — you’re OK with that?” Perry asked.

Cohen responded by stating: “We condemn groups like antifa, we write about them often. We don’t list them as hate groups.”

When asked about why the SPLC doesn’t include groups such as the Students for Justice in Palestine who have reportedly advocated for violence against Jewish people on their list, Cohen responded with the following.

“I don’t know about that particular group,” he said. “We try to call hate as we see it. We limit our list not by left versus right but by groups that vilify others for factors such as race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion or the like.”

Virginia Republican Rep. Thomas Garrett then pointed out that leaders of the SPLC almost exclusively donate to Democrats, prompting the possibility that liberal influence may seep its way into the SPLC’s decision making processes.

“The liberal tradition is an inclusive one,” Cohen said. “Hate is the opposite of that liberal tradition of inclusivity. So it’s not surprising to me that people at the SPLC, people at other inclusive organizations tend to give money to liberal organizations. It seems obvious to me.”

Although Cohen and the SPLC have refused to label antifa as a hate group, there have been multiple examples of its members espousing extremely violent behavior and rhetoric.

In the video that can be seen below, an antifa member identified as Eric Clanton can be seen hitting a Trump supporter with a bike lock.

Michael Isaacson, a professor at John Jay College and self-proclaimed antifa member, also tweeted a horrific statement aimed at his students.

“Some of ya’ll might think it sucks being an anti-fascist teaching at John Jay College but I think it’s a privilege to teach future dead cops,” Isaacson wrote, as reported by the New York Post.

Isaacson was reportedly suspended in September after pressure was put on the college to dismiss him. (For more from the author of “Southern Poverty Law Center Refuses to Label Antifa a Hate Group” please click HERE) http://joemiller.us/2017/12/southern-poverty-law-center-refuses-la

Supreme Court allows full enforcement of Trump travel ban

  • The Supreme Court is allowing President Donald Trump's latest travel ban on six Muslim-majority nations to go into effect.
  • Two of the nine justices — Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Sonia Sotomayor — dissented.
  • The ban applies to travelers from Chad, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Syria and Yemen.

Supreme Court rules travel ban can go fully into effect   19 Hours Ago | 01:27

The Supreme Court on Monday allowed the Trump administration to fully enforce a ban on travel to the United States by residents of six mostly Muslim countries.

This is not a final ruling on the travel ban: Challenges to the policy are winding through the federal courts, and the justices themselves ultimately are expected to rule on its legality.

But the action indicates that the high court might eventually approve the latest version of the ban, announced by President Donald Trump in September. Lower courts have continued to find problems with the policy.

Opponents of this and previous versions of the ban say they show a bias against Muslims. They say that was reinforced most recently by Trump's retweets of anti-Muslim videos.

"President Trump's anti-Muslim prejudice is no secret. He has repeatedly confirmed it, including just last week on Twitter. It's unfortunate that the full ban can move forward for now, but this order does not address the merits of our claims," said Omar Jadwat, director of the American Civil Liberties Union's Immigrants' Rights Project. The ACLU is representing some opponents of the ban.

Twitter

Just two justices, Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Sonia Sotomayor, noted their disagreement with court orders allowing the latest policy to take full effect.

The new policy is not expected to cause the chaos that ensued at airports when Trump rolled out his first ban without warning in January.

The ban applies to travelers from Chad, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Syria and Yemen. Lower courts had said people from those nations with a claim of a "bona fide" relationship with someone in the United States could not be kept out of the country. Grandparents, cousins and other relatives were among those courts said could not be excluded.

The courts were borrowing language the Supreme Court itself came up with last summer to allow partial enforcement of an earlier version of the ban.

Now, those relationships will no longer provide a blanket exemption from the ban, although visa officials can make exceptions on a case-by-case basis.

The justices offered no explanation for their order, but the administration had said that blocking the full ban was causing "irreparable harm" because the policy is based on legitimate national security and foreign policy concerns.

In lawsuits filed in Hawaii and Maryland, federal courts said the updated travel ban violated federal immigration law. The travel policy also applies to travelers from North Korea and to some Venezuelan government officials and their families, but the lawsuits did not challenge those restrictions. Also unaffected are refugees. A temporary ban on refugees expired in October.

All the rulings so far have been on a preliminary basis. The San Francisco-based 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals and the 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Richmond, Virginia, will be holding arguments on the legality of the ban this week.

Both courts are dealing with the issue on an accelerated basis, and the Supreme Court noted it expects those courts to reach decisions "with appropriate dispatch."

Quick resolution by appellate courts would allow the Supreme Court to hear and decide the issue this term, by the end of June.

Well what do you know…a rogue FBI agent recently released from the special counsel investigation has been released by Robert Mueller and been reassigned to the human resources office.  It also has been uncovered that he may have sabotaged the Clinton email investigation which former FBI Director James Comey and former Attorney General Loretta Lynch described as a “matter”.  Yesterday in The Trump Times I wrote an article regarding the rogue agent asking how he may have compromised the Clinton email investigation.  Well now we know.  If you have not had time to read the article, here are the questions I posed:  “Will Mueller’s team credibly investigate what actions Strzok may have taken that stonewalled or compromised the Clinton email investigation?  Was Strzok involved in the investigation of Clinton Foundation bribery by foreign governments?  Did Strzok violate any code of conduct regulations of the FBI?  What did James Comey know and when did he know it?  After all the special prosecutor has been given authority to examine “any matters that arose or may arise directly from the investigation.” This revelation has opened up Pandora’s Box in relation to potential FBI corruption, FBI integrity, bad news for Mueller’s reputation and investigation.”

FREE TRUMP 2020 HATS

NOW…it has been uncovered that Strzok changed wording in Comey’s draft describing Clinton’s actions as “grossly negligent” to “extremely careless.”  The law regarding “gross negligence” in handing of classified information is as follows:

18 U.S. Code § 793 (f) Whoever, being entrusted with or having lawful possession or control of any document, writing, code book, signal book, sketch, photograph, photographic negative, blueprint, plan, map, model, instrument, appliance, note, or information, relating to the national defense, (1) through gross negligence permits the same to be removed from its proper place of custody or delivered to anyone in violation of his trust, or to be lost, stolen, abstracted, or destroyed, or (2) having knowledge that the same has been illegally removed from its proper place of custody or delivered to anyone in violation of its trust, or lost, or stolen, abstracted, or destroyed, and fails to make prompt report of such loss, theft, abstraction, or destruction to his superior officer—

Give the Gift of TRUMP

Shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both.

At this point I believe James Comey needs to delete his Twitter account, because this blows his credibility out of the water with a stick of dynamite.  This outs James Comey as another rogue agent, undermines any credibility he had left, and forever batters his already tarnished reputation.  Sad state because I always thought James Comey was a good cop until the gross negligence in handling of the Clinton email investigation.

While I hate popcorn I am tempted to pop a bag, recline back in my recliner and watch the fireworks that should provide a good show.  Otherwise, we will know the Mueller Investigation was a dud from the beginning.

by Judge Andrew Napolitano
{townhall.com} ~ In August, when President Donald Trump's lawyers persuaded him to refrain from attacking independent counsel Robert Mueller publicly -- he had many times called Mueller's investigation a "witch hunt" -- they also told him that the investigation was not aimed at him and not to worry because it would be over by Thanksgiving.

These are the same lawyers who revealed a fissure in the strategy of the president's legal team. On one side are presidential lawyers who want to cooperate fully with Mueller because they are convinced that the president has nothing to fear from the public revelation of truthful information.

On the other side are presidential lawyers who believe that the office of the presidency is being diminished by its subservient surrendering of all demanded documents and emails to Mueller's investigators -- materials that skilled prosecutors might somehow be able to use against the president or members of his inner circle someday.

Adding to this is the presence of Gen. John Kelly, the White House chief of staff, a non-lawyer, who serves as the referee when the president's lawyers disagree. That disagreement was heightened on Thanksgiving eve when a letter arrived at the White House. It must have been received as if it were a thunderbolt and no doubt generated bitter reminders of the "over by Thanksgiving" remark made to Trump personally.

Here is the back story.

When the government is investigating or prosecuting a group of people who have some common bond or prior relationship or mutual interest, it is not uncommon for their lawyers to enter into a joint defense agreement. This type of agreement is a written contract that generally governs the relationship of the potential defendants to one another and their joint relationship to the government. Though no two agreements are identical, they generally provide for the sharing of communications to and from the government, the sharing of evidence and a joint defense.

So if one of the lawyers in the agreement receives a request from the government for documents from that lawyer's client, that lawyer will share the request and copies of the surrendered documents with the other lawyers who have signed the agreement.

The joint defense established by the agreement -- we will sink or swim together -- prohibits any person whose lawyer has signed the agreement from pointing a finger at any other person whose lawyer has signed the agreement. This united front often strengthens the defense team and frustrates the government. These agreements are common, lawful and binding until any potential defendant withdraws.

Lawyers must be very careful about what they have agreed to do because a lawyer's first and core loyalty is to her or his client, not to the group of folks represented by fellow counselors who have signed the agreement.

In the Mueller investigation, lawyers for some of the major targets -- but not all -- signed such an agreement. Those who did include lawyers for the president and lawyers for his former national security adviser, Michael Flynn.

Last Wednesday evening, after Trump had left the White House for a Thanksgiving weekend at his Florida estate, Flynn's lawyers delivered a letter to lawyers for all the others in the agreement, including Don McGahn, who is White House counsel, to announce their withdrawal from it. This means that they can no longer comply with the terms of the agreement because they are about to have communications with Mueller's team that they cannot share with the lawyers for the others.

That can only mean that Flynn is offering to give the government something. But Mueller's prosecutors are threatening Flynn's liberty. Why would he help them?

The retired lieutenant general faces a host of potential felonies -- conspiracy to kidnap a foreign national, conducting a private foreign policy with a foreign government, failing to register as a foreign agent, failing to report income from a foreign government, working for a foreign government while working for the U.S. government, lying to FBI agents -- all of which expose him to decades of federal prison time.

Flynn might help Mueller prosecute others because Mueller could reduce Flynn's prison exposure substantially in return for credible evidence against another person in the agreement.

The tantalizing question remains: What evidence does Flynn have that Mueller wants or can use? Here is where this business of independent counsels -- prosecutors not answerable through normal Department of Justice channels -- can become dangerous to personal liberty.

Because this independent counsel's office has been established solely to examine whether any Americans aided the Russian assault on our electoral system in the months leading up to the presidential election in 2016, Mueller, who heads that office, like his many predecessors who were appointed solely to investigate one person or one crime or one series of events, will have a natural tendency to indict someone for something, if only to justify his office's existence.

We have already seen this in the charges against three former Trump colleagues -- for lying to the FBI and for money laundering -- which have no visible connection to the Russians or the election. Though there may be no visible connection to the Russians or the election, there may be an invisible one, so to speak.

Uncovering that kind of connection, which is brought about by fear of incarceration and a willingness to trade knowledge of dirt on former compatriots in return for one's own freedom, is a technique mastered by prosecutors for nearly a century. But is this type of dirt, which is essentially purchased by the government by shaving years off federal prison exposure, believable?

Regrettably, this purchased, bribed testimony is, more often than not, believed by jurors, even though they are told of the deals that brought the evidence to them. Though Trump's lawyers are gainsaying this Flynn reversal, they must know how potentially dangerous it is to their client. Flynn was Trump's nearly constant confidant from June 2015 to February 2017.

Thanksgiving is over. Mueller and his team remain hard at work.

Days after it emerged that former Special Counsel investigator Peter Strzok was fired from Robert Mueller's Trump-Russia probe in August for sending anti-Trump text messages to his mistress while the two were working together on the Clinton email investigation, Sara Carter of Circa told a Fox News panel that there are more anti-Trump messages sent by Mueller's team floating around.

Carter previously emerged as one of the handful of people to review documents obtained by an undercover FBI informant embedded in the Russian uranium industry. Appearing on Hannity's show Monday night, Carter was asked about rumors of more anti-Trump sentiment expressed by Mueller's team:

Sean Hannity: I’m hearing rumors all over the place Sara Carter that there are other anti-Trump text-emails out there. And we know about them.

Sara Carter: I think you’re hearing correctly Sean and I think a lot more is going to come out. In fact, I know a lot more is going to come out based on the sources I’ve spoken to.

Tangentially, it has been widely reported that Mueller's special counsel is stacked with investigators who have donated to Obama, Clinton or other Democrat causes. As Jessica McBride reported in Heavy:

Andrew Weissmann: Weissmann is a Barack Obama and Democratic campaign donor, according to federal records. “Weissmann, who led the Enron investigation, previously gave $2,300 to Obama’s first presidential campaign in 2008 and $2,000 to the Democratic National Committee in 2006
Jeannie Rhee: donated $5,400 to Hillary Clinton in 2015 and 2016, according to FEC records. The records show she gave $2,500 each to Obama for America and Obama Victory Fund 2012 in 2011
Andrew Goldstein: According to Fox News, “Goldstein contributed a combined $3,300 to Obama’s campaigns in 2008 and 2012”
Greg Andres: FEC records show that Andres has donated at least $2,700 to Senator Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY)
James Quarles: Donated thousands of dollars to the campaigns of Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. He has also donated money recently to other Democrats, including Friends of Chuck Schumer and two other Democrats. He has a lengthy donation history dating back years. He did donate to two Republicans over the years, however.
Elizabeth Prelogar: A former law clerk to Justics Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Elena Kagen, gave $250 to Hillary Clinton in 2016, according to FEC records. She also gave $500 total to Obama for America and the Obama Victory Fund 2012.
Brandon Van Grack: gave small amounts to ActBlue, an effort to raise money for Democrats, and to a Democratic candidate for Congress in 2012. In 2008, he gave about $286 to Barack Obama.
Rush Atkinson: donated $200 to Clinton’s campaign in 2016.
Kyle Freeny: In 2012, Freeny gave $300 to Obama. In 2008, Freeny also gave $250 to Obama, FEC records show.

To review: veteran FBI agent Peter Strzok, working under James Comey, headed up both the Clinton email investigation and the Trump-Russia probe before Mueller's special counsel was created to take the reigns. Strzok - who was responsible for changing the FBI's opinion of Clinton's mishandling of classified info from "grossly negligent" to "extremely careless," - had an extramarital affair with FBI lawyer Lisa Page while the two were working on the Clinton "matter." During the investigation, Strzok sent Page anti-Trump / pro-Clinton text messages, which resulted in the dismissal of both Strzok and Page from Mueller's Trump-Russia probe. Strzok now works in the FBI's HR department.

Strzok's conduct during the Clinton email investigation and any other politically charged cases he's worked on, are now being investigated by the DOJ's Office of Personel Management the results of which, per Sara Carter of Circa, will be coming out in December and January.

Moreover, as we reported earlier today, House Speaker Paul Ryan accused the DOJ and FBI of "stonewalling" the House Intelligence Committee's wide-ranging subpoena related to the "Trump dossier," along with the fact that the FBI appears to have willfully tried to conceal the reason for Strzok's reassignment from the committee.

Meanwhile, upon being blindsided with this information and publicly embarrassed, Intel committee chairman Devin Nunes was understandably less than pleased.

In a statement issued Sunday, Nunes announced a serious escalation: His committee, he said, is preparing to hold Andrew McCabe and assistant AG Rod Rosenstein in contempt for the DOJ's failure to comply with Nunes's subpoena. He also accused the FBI and the DOJ of willfully refusing to comply with an Aug. 24 subpoena in part by refusing the committee's request "for an explanation of Peter Strzok's dismissal from the mueller probe."

“By hiding from Congress, and from the American people, documented political bias by a key FBI head investigator for both the Russia collusion probe and the Clinton email investigation, the FBI and DOJ engaged in a willful attempt to thwart Congress’ constitutional oversight responsibility. This is part of a months-long pattern by the DOJ and FBI of stonewalling and obstructing this Committee’s oversight work, particularly oversight of their use of the Steele dossier. At this point, these agencies should be investigating themselves.

“The DOJ has now expressed—on a Saturday, just hours after the press reports on Strzok’s dismissal appeared—a sudden willingness to comply with some of the Committee’s long-standing demands. This attempted 11th-hour accommodation is neither credible nor believable, and in fact is yet another example of the DOJ’s disingenuousness and obstruction. Therefore, I have instructed House Intelligence Committee staff to begin drawing up a contempt of Congress resolution for DOJ Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and FBI Director Christopher Wray. Unless all our outstanding demands are fully met by close of business on Monday, December 4, 2017, the committee will have the opportunity to move this resolution before the end of the month."

It now appears that the FBI will have even more explaining to do as evidence of additional anti-Trump bias among members of Mueller's investigation appear to be on the horizon...

Enemy NFL Joins Globalists Soros, Jones In Deal To Fund Our Destruction – Patriots Must Kill The NFL

NFL is now actively engaged as a partner with their field thugs who have clearly expressed their hatred for our nation and people who don’t look like them. Teaming up with Soros

goodell soros jones nfl

In an article last week I described the NFL teaming up with George Soros and the spoiled rich field-thugs in financing the assault on the American public, particularly white and pro-police patriots, that the players have successful managed to fund through a shakedown of the cowardly league owners.

For some reason, rather than standing up to the riff-raff that are rapidly destroying any remaining American appetite for what used to be their entertainment business, the NFL owners are attempting to buy their way out of the “protest problem” by rewarding the America-hating players with money for their leftist causes.

The ransom of between $89 and $100 million over 7 years will fund black supremacists and other anti-white and anti-cop hate groups as well as race-based special privileges for non-whites. The most egregious component of the social suicide through entertainment arrangement is that the most vituperative enemies of our Republic, those who strive daily for our national destruction, will become the newest teammates of the field thugs, coaches and owners.

The Washington Times reported on Monday specific “social-justice” hate groups that are to be recipients of the money, and how prominent George Soros and other leftist agitators and organizations are in the scheme.” Detailing the nature of the agreement, it clearly should be the last straw for non-radical Americans to permanently turn the page and their backs on the NFL, the final nail in their coffin.

They reveal that NFL owners will be directing 25 percent of the tens of millions of dollars to the Dream Corps, an Obama connected social chaos group led by self-avowed communist Van Jones. They are advocates for the full array of leftist agenda items, who are teamed up with predatory globalist pariah George Soros. They’ve called for saving the “Clean Power Plan,” cutting the prison population by half and granting sanctuary to all comers.

Another fifty percent will go to the United Negro College Fund to provide race-based education benefits to blacks and not a dime for needy white kids. Racism is perfectly acceptable to the left as long as they are the perpetrators or the beneficiaries. In this instance they are both.

Also receiving money from the type of sellout the NFL has no business being involved in is the budding “non-profit,” the Players Coalition, which has been advised by the Soros-funded Campaign for Fair Sentencing of Youth and the radical leftist Center for American Progress, where John Podesta and Tom Steyer sit as board members.

Robert Kuykendall, the spokesman for 2ndVote, a conservative corporate watchdog group responded, “If this is how the NFL plans to bring back the millions of Americans who are fed up with the players’ antics and anthem protests, then the league just fumbled the ball. Why would any conservative spend another dollar supporting the NFL if that dollar will be directly funneled to left-wing activists like Van Jones?”

The agreement will still have to be approved by the owners at their annual meeting which begins in March. If Americans respond as they should be responding, the owners will be more concerned with attempting to save their league.

This specific information published in the Washington Times is a call to action for American patriots of all colors who oppose the communist takeover and the social justice “equality” these cowardly owners are facilitating by caving in to the demand of their field thugs.

They are not men of principle or character, none of them, not the owners, coaches or players. They are immoral cowards who will sell out their nation and their countrymen to communists for the sake of keeping the peace. Peace is sometimes the enemy of liberty.

Even if the players all stop demonstrating and reminding us of the America-hating societal parasites that they are, the reality is that a revitalization of the league is a financial boost to those who are working to destroy America, the open borders global government fascists. The best thing for our nation is for the NFL to go out of business, to die of their own self-inflicted wounds, their political corruption and moral failures.

They have sided with the enemies of America and that makes them the enemy as well. The patriotic thing to do is to completely purge any contact with them from our daily lives. Patriots need to kill the NFL and quickly. Die, NFL – Die.

Watergate Was Nothing Compared to This
by Tom McLaughlin

s-l1000.jpg
{tommclaughlin.blogspot.com} ~ First thing every morning I skipped down two flights of stairs to get the Boston Globe because I couldn’t wait to read the latest developments in the Watergate scandal then bringing down the Nixon Administration. Familiar as I still am with those details, they pale by comparison to abuses of power under the liar-nObama Administration and its collusion with the 2016 liar-Hillary Clinton presidential campaign recently coming to light.
The%252BPlumbers%252BIn%252B1971%252C%252BDaniel%252BEllsberg%252C%252Bformer%252BDefense%252BDepartment%252Bofficial%252C%252Bleaked%252Ba%252Bsecret%252BPentagon%252Bstudy%252Bof%252Bthe%252BVietnam%252BWar%252Bto%252Bthe%252BNY%252BTimes..jpg
President Nixon’s campaign had hired a group called “the plumbers” to plug leaks of information from his administration to the media. Their activities were legal up to the point when they broke into to a rented office of DNC Chairman Larry O’Brien in Washington, DC’s Watergate Hotel, hence the name of the infamous scandal. They were hoping to find embarrassing information to hurt Democrat presidential candidate George McGovern’s 1972 campaign against Nixon.
lois-lerner-something-to-hide.jpg
During the long investigation into this break-in, other illegal activities came to light including another break-in to the office of Daniel Ellsburg’s psychiatrist. Ellsburg had leaked the classified “Pentagon Papers,” which revealed that some of Nixon’s public statements about his conduct of the Vietnam War were erroneous, and the New York Times published them. Nixon was not aware of the Watergate break-in until the Washington Post began publishing stories about it. At that point he began using his executive power to thwart the investigation. That led to credible charges of “obstruction of justice,” for which he resigned to avoid impeachment.
nytimes-nixonresigns.jpg
Nixon had contemplated other abuses of his power like using the IRS to harass political enemies of which he had made an infamous list. He never did, but Americans were appalled that he considered it. The liar-Obama Administration, however, did more than consider it. It actually used the IRS to harass political enemies, but The Washington Post and the rest of mainstream media were disinclined to investigate.
a46c4bb9ded756fa7d50f0ab3649dab5--college-students-scandal.jpg
Conservative pundits claim most of the 62,979,879 Americans who voted for Trump last year believe Democrats, Republican leadership, and Mainstream Media all cooperate with each other against them. Variously called “Bitter Clingers” by liar-nObama and “Deplorables” by liar-Hillary Clinton, Trump supporters see their man as someone with the temperament necessary to kick all their a**es while he “drains the swamp” in which they all reside.
obama-called-me-clinger-hillary-calls-me-deplorable-terrorists-call-5577645.png
Denizens of the swamp went into a collective panic when Trump unexpectedly won. After the shock wore off, the lame-duck liar-nObama Administration began laying traps for him using an obscure, never-enforced 1799 law called “The Logan Act” according to columnist Byron York. Using the Logan Act as justification, liar-nObama officials cited the dodgy “Trump Dossier” constructed by an opposition research firm paid by the liar-Hillary Clinton campaign and the Democrat National Committee (DNC). FBI agent Peter Strzok, whom Special Counsel Mueller recently dismissed from his investigation, used the dodgy dossier to obtain FISA warrants to wiretap both the Trump campaign and the Trump transition team.
a-top-fbi-investigator-has-unexpectedly-stepped-away-from-special-counsel-muellers-russia-probe.jpg
Strzok and Mueller

It was Strzok, presumably under the direction of then-FBI Director Comey, who offered to pay $50,000 of taxpayer money to Christopher Steele, author of the dodgy dossier, to continue his research against Donald Trump during the campaign! Strzok also led the dubious FBI “investigation” of liar-Hillary Clinton’s emails. Compared to these revelations, Nixon’s actions during Watergate seem trivial. Why aren’t Washington Post reporters looking into these developments?
2017-05-25-aa456eaf_large.jpg
Under dubious authority, other liar-nObama officials including Susan Rice and Samantha Power requested hundreds of FISA transcripts including General Flynn’s December, 2016 contacts with Russian Ambassador Sergei Kislyak during Trump’s transition. They unmasked Flynn to set him up for FBI interrogation four days after Trump’s inauguration. ABC reporter Brian Ross breathlessly reported last Friday that Trump directed Flynn’s conversations during the campaign! Ross had to retract it hours later and was suspended by ABC, but not before his report caused the stock market to plunge.
screen_shot_2017-12-01_at_3.26.35_pm.png
Flynn and Kushner

According the Buzzfeed, it was actually Trump son-in-law Jared Kushner who instructed Flynn to contact Kislyak and discuss the then-upcoming UN Security Council vote against Israeli settlements in East Jerusalem and the West Bank. Most importantly, however, his instruction was during the transition after Trump had won — not during the campaign — and therefore not within the realm of Mueller’s original charge to investigate alleged Russia/Trump campaign collusion. It’s perfectly reasonable for a transition official like Flynn to contact foreign governments, yet Flynn evidently lied about them to the FBI. Why? We don’t know.
(Update: Its was K.T. McFarland not Jared Kushner who asked Flynn to contact Kislyak)
C9D3Er6VwAEyCpz.jpg-large.jpeg
As of this writing, neither Mueller nor anyone else has yet found evidence of Trump/Russia campaign collusion despite a year-and-a-half of investigations by mainstream media and Congressional Democrats. Trump supporters see them all as part of “the swamp” conspiring to bring down the Trump Administration. For that, there’s plenty of evidence.

Watergate was nothing compared to what I’m seeing now.

{rickwells.us} ~ Once again the swamp creatures of the judiciary slithered to the rescue of their slimy, sleazy comrade liar-Hillary Clinton... ruling against the American people and in favor of keeping the liar-Clinton crimes as secret as they can. The US Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia ruled on Friday, siding with the Jeff Sessions  DOJ which argued on liar-Clinton’s behalf, against ordering the release of draft indictments prepared against her during the mid-1990s Whitewater scandal. Judicial Watch had filed a Freedom of Information Act Request with the National Archives and Records Administration in 2015 for the two draft indictments. They were the product of an independent Counsel investigation into suspected fraudulent liar-Clinton real estate dealings...Trump you need to get rid of Session.  https://rickwells.us/judicial-watch-court-clinton/

GOP Takes Step To Free Americans

From liar-nObama Socialism Mandate

by rickwells.us

{rickwells.us} ~ Senate Republicans are far from perfect and many, if not most of them, are part of the problem with the DC Swamp... They did, however, on Friday, do something no globalist Democrat would ever consider doing. They voted against wealth redistribution. In passing the Senate tax bill, the liar-nObamacare individual mandate was eliminated. The decree by our former foreign-born emperor that those of us who didn’t opt in for their overpriced, largely useless and unsustainable health care plan were to be turned upside down, vigorously shaken and the contents of our pockets, including our wallets, confiscated, will be no more...  https://rickwells.us/gop-obama-socialism-mandate/

Trump should Pardon Flynn,

Sessions should Fire Mueller and then Resign

by Michael P. Rethman

{ipatriot.com} ~ General Michael Flynn served honorably in the U.S. Army rising to become a 3-star general and head the Defense Intelligence Agency... Unfortunately for Flynn, he found the sewer that is DC to his liking – where it’s seemingly okay to be hired by foreign governments who seek to alter U.S. policy. Yet despite its questionable ethics, what Flynn did for Turkey isn’t illegal. Instead, Flynn’s major mistake was naively supporting Donald J. Trump’s campaign for President. This was tantamount to painting a target on his own back in the waning days of the corrupt liar-nObama Administration... http://ipatriot.com/trump-pardon-flynn-sessions-fire-mueller-resign/

Georgia Copyrighted Its Own Laws. Now,

It’s Suing a Nonprofit Group for Publishing Them.

by Amy Swearer

{dailysignal.com} ~ The state of Georgia has one, and only one, official set of laws: the Official Code of Georgia Annotated... There’s just one tiny problem for Georgia citizens who wish to know exactly what’s in the code: It will cost them hundreds of dollars to read it. Why? Because Georgia copyrighted its own code and gave sole distribution rights to LexisNexis, a for-profit company. The state has since raked in tens of thousands of dollars’ worth of royalty fees every year, all for allowing its citizens the privilege of reading their own laws..http://dailysignal.com/2017/12/01/georgia-copyrighted-laws-now-suing-non-profit-group-publishing/?utm_source=heritagefoundation&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=theinsider&mkt_tok=eyJpIjoiWkdJeE1qTTFPVFV4TlRkaSIsInQiOiJMT3lrUFwvYVhmNkpqc0hqcituRWVkOHVrcEM0NzBcL21sTmprbWFJNDR2V2hLNUI0RWllVEhPSTZtRG1BQ1hRM2dzYU52dFFLWW5FSXB2NWdtOG40NWlDakk1NzhOK0MxZkhZcEVRM3JuXC9GanQ0UU82SncxYXA3YUxsS1d5VnUraSJ9

The net neutrality farce: From the start, the

concept has been based on a flawed foundation

by THOMAS HAZLETT

{nydailynews.com} ~ For the sixth time in the last decade, U.S. rules on "network neutrality" are set to flip... The controversial policy — first imposed by the Federal Communications Commission under Bush 43, then struck down by federal courts, then re-imposed under President liar-nObama, then overturned again, then imposed yet again — is now slated for demolition by Ajit Pai, the FCC head appointed by President Trump. In a public radio debate not long ago, Tom Wheeler — who led the FCC from 2013 until early this year — argued for net neutrality regulations to protect subscribers from anti-competitive actions by their Internet Service Providers (ISPs). He asserted that the rules would protect internet start-ups of the future, singling out AOL as his historical example. It was a stunning misdirection...  http://www.nydailynews.com/opinion/net-neutrality-farce-article-1.3649219?utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=theinsider&utm_source=heritagefoundation&mkt_tok=eyJpIjoiWkdJeE1qTTFPVFV4TlRkaSIsInQiOiJMT3lrUFwvYVhmNkpqc0hqcituRWVkOHVrcEM0NzBcL21sTmprbWFJNDR2V2hLNUI0RWllVEhPSTZtRG1BQ1hRM2dzYU52dFFLWW5FSXB2NWdtOG40NWlDakk1NzhOK0MxZkhZcEVRM3JuXC9GanQ0UU82SncxYXA3YUxsS1d5VnUraSJ9

Cuomo’s Expensive Puerto Rico

“Better Than Ever” Bail Out – We Pay

by rickwells.us

{rickwells.us} ~ Andrew Cuomo is on his next political campaign, perhaps for governor of New York or maybe President of the United States... He’s saying what he believes will endear him to the parasites of America, also known as Democrat voters, both on the island of Puerto Rico and on the US mainland. The corrupt Democrats running and ruining Puerto Rico and hindering the aid effort are the ones responsible for what happened to that third world money pit that, unfortunately, is a US territory. It’s not the Trump administration’s fault, as was clearly evident during the immediate aftermath of the hurricanes. The mayor of San Juan and others vividly highlighted the fact that the Puerto Rican Democrats are every bit as corrupt and hypocritical as their mainland cousins... https://rickwells.us/cuomo-puerto-rico-better-pay/

DICTATORS

by Burt Prelutsky

For a long time, I have been firmly convinced that the ideal form of government would be a benevolent dictator, someone who could cut through the usual bureaucratic red tape and partisan politics that afflict representative forms of government, in order to do the most good, most quickly, for the most people.

Unfortunately, dictators who aren’t malevolent tyrants are rarer than unicorns. And as nobody is in a position to offer me the job, it appears we are pretty much stuck with what we have.

The problem is that even in such enlightened nations as England and the U.S., we have witnessed and sat idly by while those in authority misused their powers. In America, as we all recall, we all saw President liar-nObama enable the bureaucrats at the EPA to destroy businesses on the flimsiest of ecological whims.

At the same time, he was allowed to get away with one whopper after another. Time and again, he swore that if we liked our doctors and our health insurance, we would be allowed to hang onto them under the Affordable Care Act.

Because he wasn’t impeached for such blatant lies, he felt that even after insisting on 26 separate occasions that he didn’t have the constitutional right to prevent six million illegal aliens from being deported, it was safe to go ahead and issue an executive order preventing their eviction.

What the dictator class did in England was, in a way, even worse because lying in the name of partisanship is bad, but it has a traditional basis in human nature. Nobody really expects politicians to have a moral compass. We all understand that those holding public office are mainly motivated by power and greed. But we expect more from those sworn to uphold the Hippocratic Oath, whose primary obligation is to do no harm.

When eight-month-old Charlie Gard was diagnosed with mitochondrial DNA depletion syndrome, a terminal neurological disease, his parents went about raising money through charitable donations to take their baby son to New York for experimental treatment. But the hospital objected, insisting that Charlie had the right to die with dignity.

When the parents countered that their son’s primary right was to live, the battle entered the legal system. Time and again, the English courts ruled in favor of the hospital. By the time Dr. Michio Hirano was permitted to come over from New York to examine the baby, he said it was too late for his treatment to have any chance of saving Charlie.

The court then ruled that Charlie would be taken off his respirator. Charlie died the next day. I can’t confirm that he died with his dignity intact. But however little he may have had, it dwarfed that of London’s Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children or the English legal system.

● Some people have defended the smutty things that Donald Trump said about women to Billy Bush during that famous conversation aboard a bus. They insist it was just a case of boys being boys, although Mr. Trump was pushing 60 at the time. They said it was just the sort of locker room braggadocio that males always engage in.

I’m 77. Therefore, I have spent a lot of time in locker rooms, though not recently, I’m happy to say. They were steamy, stinky places, but I never heard anything like the sort of crap Mr. Trump said to Bush. And I’m willing to wager that most of the men reading this haven’t, either.

But there’s no question that America has become a much coarser place over the years. I would trace it back to the 60s with the advent of its simplistic “Make Love Not War” slogan and the hippies’ campaign on behalf of “Free Love,” neither of which had anything to do with love, but were simply shorthand for irresponsible sex, which in turn made tax-subsidized abortions a hot-button issue for Democrats.

But that in no way diminishes liar-Bill Clinton’s influence on our culture through his sexual misbehavior both as the governor of Arkansas and the president of the United States.

But that doesn’t excuse Trump. I voted for him and plan to do so again in 2020, but that doesn’t mean I don’t think someone should wash his mouth out with a bar of Lifebuoy.

● I have long wondered how the American Revolution is taught in English schools and regarded by the English people. Is it a major or minor item in the national consciousness? Do they consider America’s victory as a major loss or as a lucky near-miss?

I have met people from England, but I never asked, possibly to avoid opening old wounds. But if anyone can provide me with an answer, please drop me an email.

● I hate to keep harping on Roy Moore and the allegations against him, but I can’t get over the fact that the man has been in public life for more than 30 years and there had never before been a hint of inappropriate sexual behavior. Unlike the politicians and show biz celebrities who have been accused in recent months, none of those making allegations against Mr. Moore were in a position where he could have destroyed their careers had they come forward.

Considering that nobody had breathed a word of scandal against Moore during his GOP primary battle with Luther Strange, it should make a person wonder. I would think that the timing of the allegations, coming just weeks before an election pitting him against an uberliberal named Doug Jones, would make every Alabama voter at least a little suspicious. I mean, as coincidences go, it is definitely a pipperoo.

● I have always been surprised by the lines from movies that become commonplace for no readily discernible reason. At least when it’s a line like the one from “Casablanca” where the cynical chief of police says he’s shocked to find that gambling is taking place in the backroom at Rick’s, even as he’s pocketing his winnings, the line is timeless because there are always corrupt politicians to whom it applies.

But why for a time was it impossible to avoid hearing “Make my day,” “Hasta la vista, baby” and “Life is like a box of chocolates,” on a daily, sometimes hourly, basis?

Sometimes, the line didn’t even exist the way it came to be repeated. Humphrey Bogart never told Dooley Wilson to “Play it again, Sam.” He said: “You played it for her, you can play it for me.”

In “Cool Hand Luke,” Strother Martin didn’t tell Paul Newman: “What we’ve got here is a failure to communicate.” He left out the “a,” which, to my ear and most other ears, apparently, destroyed the flow of the line.

Sean Connery’s identifying himself as “Bonds…James Bond” has become iconic, but perhaps that’s mainly due to its constant repetition in the Bond franchise. But, eight years prior to “Dr. No,” Sterling Hayden introduced himself to saloon owner Joan Crawford, using the same self-important inflection, as “Guitar…Johnny Guitar.”

● The best thing about having Thanksgiving in the rearview mirror is that it means that Christmas is just around the corner.

It is sometimes said that pretty girls in high school will hang around with homely girls because they look so much better in comparison and it cuts down on the competition.

I have always felt that way when it comes to the two holidays. Thanksgiving is cardboard turkeys, Pilgrims wearing funny hats stalking the ugliest bird to be found in the animal kingdom, and pumpkins whose bottoms go mushy in a few days. There aren’t even any catchy tunes connected to the fourth Thursday in November. Even Irving Berlin never wrote a song commemorating the occasion.

But, then, suddenly, magically, Thanksgiving is transformed into Christmas, which is essentially like the erstwhile dirty-faced, g-dropping, flower seller, Eliza Doolittle, appearing on Professor Higgins’ staircase, all gussied up for the ball, rivaling Grace Kelly and Lady Di in the princess competition.

Barry Donadio is the Republican Candidate for Queen Anne’s County Commissioner in district 3 for the 2018 election. He is also currently the Sergeant at Arms of the Maryland Republican Party.

On December 1st 2017, he marched in the Centerville, Maryland Christmas Parade with his daughters Dona and Giovanna by his side.

It was a warm evening for December 1st and the turn out for the parade was larger then recent years. There we lots of children and rideside campfires. It was an over all great time for all.

Donadio said that he was impressed by the hospitallity shown to him by county residents while he was walking in the parade.

Donadio has lead an aggressive campaign by meeting with citizens and community leaders to address their concerns. He states he is going to fix the traffic problems in the county as well as keeping the taxes in the county low. He also wants to create more jobs in the county, especially medium wage jobs.

Because of his strong law enforcement backround as a former member of the U.S. Secret Service, he will be addressing heroin addiction issues and crime. Keeping our children off alcohol and drugs are also on his agenda.

{foxnews.com} ~ The U.S. Senate voted just before 2 a.m. ET Saturday to pass a sweeping tax overhaul worth roughly $1.4 trillion... putting the Trump White House a big step closer to its first major legislative victory – and many Americans closer to a tax cut. The vote was 51-49, with Republican Bob Corker of Tennessee the only member of the GOP to side with the Democrats in opposition. Not long after the vote, President Donald Trump tweeted his reaction: "We are one step closer to delivering MASSIVE tax cuts for working families across America," the president wrote. "Special thanks to @SenateMajLdr RINO-Mitch McConnell and Chairman @SenOrrinHatch for shepherding our bill through the Senate. {townhall.com} ~ For a host of reasons, it is extremely important that Republicans pass the most pro-growth tax reform bill that can squeak by both houses of Congress.

Though President Trump's tweets and manners upset a lot of people, what seems to be lost in the mix is that his administration is making progress along many fronts. It's not just his judicial appointments, though it is difficult to overstate how excellent these have been.

He has also quietly made improvements in a number of other areas, scaling back oppressive administrative regulations on the environment, immigration and health care. The administrative state is a galloping cancer on our liberties that Congress rarely reins in, so Trump deserves credit for lawfully rescinding some of Barack liar-nObama's unlawful orders.

Trump has also helped restore pride in America by promoting the American idea and expressing pride in and supporting the military and our national defense. He has not yet been the trade protectionist I feared, and he has been more circumspect in foreign policy than some anticipated.

But unless Trump is able to advance his legislative agenda, Republicans will be handicapped in 2018, not to mention 2020. Aware of this, Democrats will conspire to thwart any GOP tax bill, even one they would support if they were in charge.

Though the mouth-foaming left can't seem to discern this, Trump is not strongly ideological. Liberals see any Republican president as a right-wing extremist who must be stopped at all costs. Trump's idiosyncratic behavior makes him all the more contemptible to them, but they would oppose his agenda just as fervently if he had pristine manners like, say, George W. Bush or Mitt Romney.

And though Trump's non-ideological bent may work to his advantage in some cases, it is clearly a detriment to advancing a legislative agenda. This is one place where governance is markedly different from running a business.

Though a handful of recalcitrant Republican senators can rightfully be blamed for the GOP's failure thus far to repeal liar-nObamacare, Trump might very well have been able to overcome this obstacle had he presented a clearer vision. The problem is that he didn't have one and was too malleable, by which he forfeited his ability to build a coalition and lead on the issue. He just wanted a victory, and that is never enough.

The deeper problem was that he was of two minds on the issue. He was trying to reconcile conflicting goals -- to reinstitute market forces in health care without removing the underlying socialistic structure of liar-nObamacare.

We are seeing a bit of the same with the tax bill. The current bill is partially pro-growth, especially on the corporate side, but is schizophrenic because it incorporates the Democrats' class-warfare assumptions. I believe that Trump erred in allowing the Democrats to frame the debate in their terms when he said the rich don't need a tax cut -- as if their money belongs to the government and they can only keep what the government, in its beneficence, allows.

Another major problem is that Republicans have tacitly conceded that every bill has to be "revenue-neutral" based on static scoring. That is, for every dollar in taxes they cut, they have to raise taxes somewhere else, totally factoring out the growth-generating aspects of reduced marginal rates. Republicans throw in part of the towel before negotiations begin.

Even if you believe that reducing tax rates won't expand the revenue pie, why is their default position to raise taxes elsewhere to pay for cuts instead of reducing spending?

I doubt that I will be ecstatic with whatever version finally emerges from Congress, but based on current proposals, I am optimistic that it will be a significant improvement over the status quo in substantially reducing corporate rates and individual rates on most of the middle class the poor don't pay and in simplifying the code.

I pray that the Republicans pass the best version they can so that they can fulfill one promise and then move on to spending issues and revisit health care reform -- from a stronger position.

When they turn to spending, they will have to face the unpleasant reality that it is numerically impossible to curb the federal leviathan without once and for all tackling so-called entitlements. The Democrats will never do it, and they'll force Republicans to walk over hot coals in hell to make any progress here, but that's better than bequeathing our children fiscal hell.

I was encouraged to read recently that Paul Ryan and others in the GOP leadership fully intend to work on these issues next. If we think health care and taxes are a tough sell, just wait for entitlements.

So let's not allow, once again, the perfect to be the enemy of the good but encourage Congress to pass tax reform. The market is up based on positive signals, but those signals, as soon as possible, must be reinforced by real legislation. The clock is ticking.
