YES! Trump Administration orders end of funding to UN to provide humanitarian aid to persecuted religious minorities in the Middle East

Instead, from now on, America will provide financial and humanitarian support “directly” to persecuted Christian communities in the Middle East through USAID rather than funneling it through the corrupt UN,” VP Mike Pence told Middle East Christian leaders gathered in the nation’s capital for the annual ‘In Defense of Christians’ summit.

“My friends, those days are over,” Pence said, adding that the Obama administration paid more than one billion dollars for humanitarian aid, with the majority of the funding funneled through the U.N. “Yet the United Nations has too often failed to help the most vulnerable communities, especially religious minorities,” Pence said. “The result has been that countless people continue to suffer and struggle needlessly.”

Pence called it a “sad reality” that the main U.N. presence in terror-ridden places like Syria and Iraq is their flag posted on abandoned buildings in places where persecuted Christians are not even present. “And while faith-based groups with proven track records and deep roots in these communities are more than willing to assist, the United Nations too often denies their funding requests,” Pence said.

“Our fellow Christians and all who are persecuted in the Middle East should not have to rely on multinational institutions when America can help them directly,” Pence said, announcing Trump’s order to the State Department to “stop funding ineffective relief efforts at the United Nations.”

“And from this day forward, America will provide support directly to persecuted communities through USAID,” he said. Pence concluded his remarks by citing scripture, specifically Hebrew 13:5-6 in the New Testament: “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”

An Ypsilanti man arrested by the FBI’s counterterrorism team in August said he was an Islamic State supporter, admitting he made pipe bombs and watched terrorist propaganda videos, according to federal records obtained by The Detroit News.

Yousef Mohammad Ramadan also boasted that committing a terrorist attack in the United States is easy compared to overseas.

Search warrant records offer new insight into a counterterrorism investigation shrouded in secrecy and help explain why Ramadan was removed from a Royal Jordanian Airlines flight in August at Detroit Metropolitan Airport.

The records also reveal Ramadan is at the center of the latest counter-terrorism investigation involving a Metro Detroit supporter of the Islamic State group, also known as ISIS. His arrest in late August came days before terror suspect Sebastian Gregerson was sentenced to federal prison.

“It is not uncommon for someone to be so fervent in their beliefs to boast and talk about it,” said Seamus Hughes, deputy director of George Washington University’s Program on Extremism, who has interviewed numerous people tied to the Islamic State. “They are not shy.”

Ramadan, 28, has not been charged with a terrorism-related crime and the status of the investigation was unclear Wednesday. The filings came more than a month after the former security guard was indicted on two counts of knowingly possessing a firearm with an obliterated serial number, a five-year felony.

He is being held without bond.

FBI spokesman Tim Wiley declined comment.

“We will be filing a written response to the defense motion,” said Gina Balaya, a spokeswoman for the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Detroit.

Dozens of pages of search warrant records were filed in federal court Wednesday in a bid by Ramadan’s legal team to suppress evidence seized during the investigation and statements the man made while being questioned by investigators. His court-appointed lawyers allege Ramadan was assaulted by investigators and denied access to an attorney.

Ramadan was trying to fly from Detroit Metropolitan Airport to Amman, Jordan, on Aug. 15 with the ultimate destination of Israel, his lawyer wrote in a filing Wednesday. Before the plane could depart, investigators searched his checked baggage.

Inside, investigators found pepper spray, knives, a stun gun, black masks, two-way radios, a gas mask, a tactical vest and other items, according to a search warrant affidavit filed in federal court.

A secondary inspection uncovered numerous electronic devices, including laptops, iPhones and storage devices.

Investigators questioned Ramadan about the stun gun and other items found in the luggage.

“Ramadan could not give an answer and became very nervous,” FBI Special Agent Ryan Schanberger wrote in a search warrant affidavit.

Based on Ramadan’s response, investigators searched the electronic storage devices.

Investigators found videos of Ramadan shooting pistols and rifles, including a sniper rifle. They also found photos and videos of pipe bombs and propaganda videos and photos related to the Islamic State, including videos of fighters wearing black masks similar to those found in Ramadan’s luggage, according to Schanberger.

FBI agents showed Ramadan a photo obtained from one of his electronic devices. The photo showed what appeared to be a homemade, improvised explosive device, or pipe bomb, according to the filing.

“Ramadan stated that it was like a large firework that would make a loud bang when detonated, and that these items were sometimes used to throw at soldiers overseas,” the agent wrote.

Agents asked Ramadan how long it took to build the device.

“About one hour,” Ramadan said.

He immediately recanted, however, saying it would take one hour if he had all the components, according to the filing.

Ramadan said he made explosive devices for “educational purposes” while overseas and tested one by throwing it against a wall, according to the filing.

He acknowledged owning the items found in the luggage. Ramadan said he bought the items for personal protection and for making YouTube videos, court records show.

Ramadan had multiple YouTube channels. One, named “WB.88Guns,” contained seven videos posted between November 2016 and February 2017.

The videos show an individual shooting or handling various types of firearms, including a sniper rifle, according to the filing.

Five of the videos were shot outdoors in arid environments.

Ramadan told FBI agents he owned three weapons, including two rifles and a Glock pistol he had placed in a storage unit before arriving at the airport. Ramadan, however, did not disclose owning another pistol that was registered to him, the agent wrote.

Ramadan also was questioned about the Islamic State propaganda videos and photos found on his electronic devices.

“Ramadan stated that he likes and watches all aspects of combat footage,” the agent wrote. “He claimed that he does support ISIS’ goal of establishing … an Islamic State, but that he does not support their methods of violence to achieve that goal, instead preferring a peaceful approach to converting non-believers into the Muslim religion and/or forming an Islamic State.”

Investigators told Ramadan that watching violent ISIS videos could prompt him to commit a violent act.

“Ramadan responded by saying that if he ever wanted to commit an attack he certainly would not have to travel overseas to do it,” the agent wrote. “Ramadan stated that he would do it in the United States as it would be much easier to accomplish than overseas.

“Ramadan stated that even if his weapons were confiscated, he could simply buy more weapons off the street…,” the agent added. “Ramadan further stated that a domestic attack would still be viewed and praised as a huge victory by ISIS.”

He would never wage an attack overseas, especially in Israel, the father of four small children told agents.

“Because the Israelis retaliate against every family member for the acts of the perpetrator, even though they had no involvement,” Ramadan told investigators, according to the court filing.

Corey Feldman Asks Public for Help Exposing Hollywood Pedophilia, Says He Fears for His Life

In the wake of recent sexual abuse allegations against Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein, actor Corey Feldman has stepped back into the limelight with a crowdfunding campaign to help expose Hollywood pedophilia. In a tweet sent out at 5 am on Wednesday, Feldman released a YouTube video announcing the campaign with the text, “U asked 4 it….U got it…LETS DO THIS!”

In the new video Feldman describes how his efforts to expose Hollywood pedophilia have brought him heartache and caused several of his band mates to quit out of fear for their lives. “I am very alone, but I need to protect myself and my family,” Feldman stated. “What I am proposing is a plan that I believe can literally change the entertainment system as we know it, and I believe that I can also bring down, potentially, a pedophile ring that I have been aware of since I was a child.”

Feldman’s plan is to raise enough money to film a movie about his life which will reveal the truth about Hollywood pedophilia. “In his book, Coreyography, Corey describes what happened but it isn’t clear who exactly the predators are,” the campaign reads. “The best way, he feels, in order to tell the whole story, is for Corey to come forward in the form of a film about his life.” The campaign has raised over $20,000 since launching Wednesday morning.

Feldman goes on to say that he can name at least six names and that the crimes lead all the way to the head of a Hollywood studio. “Rumors have been told, stories have been made up about me. All because they fear what I know as the truth.”

The new video comes only days after Feldman and his touring band were detained and harassed by the Mangham Police Department in Louisiana on Saturday for legal possession of cannabis. He was charged with one count of possession of marijuana and a traffic charge. However, Feldman clarified the situation via Twitter, stating that he was not arrested for cannabis.

I feel compelled to issue a warning.

Yes, I am well aware of the ANTIFA threat that war will come to our streets on November 4^th, as the transparently fascist…masquerading as anti-fascists goons who I believe to be more libertarian than liberal, and thus anarchists, continue to bloviate about staged violence aimed at shutting down the freedom of expression and attacking the police and government at large…but there’s a reason for the date they chose.

You see…November 4^th is a Saturday…which comes on the heels of a Friday night…which traditionally is, I believe, the weekly 2fer special on Jose Cuervo at the Pretend to be Against Nazi Corner Bar…and Nazis who pretend not to be Nazis are always in a mood the morning after a night of getting Obama-faced.

If the ANTIFA anarchist army isn’t too hung over, there will be a ruckus raised, some businesses will be damaged, arson is always a possibility with these thugs and there will, no doubt, be people getting hurt, but in the grand scheme of things, as soon as the inane inebriates start sobering up…and many will be doing that in jail, the overall effect will be little more than idiots going a step further in the aspect of exposing their true nature while the targets of their booze-fueled rampage…Conservatives…will still hold the moral high ground.

But that’s not the warning I feel compelled to issue.

Consider this something of a weather warning…there is about to be a blizzard, and while there’s no reason to run to the store to stock up on milk, bread and eggs as so many folks in blizzard prone areas often do…unless French Toast is a staple survival food on the off chance one might become stranded by climate change…my advice is to make some popcorn, because this will be rather entertaining.

On November 8^th, the 1^st anniversary of the abjectly humiliating loss by Hillary Clinton, liberal snowflakes far and wide have been making plans to gather in groups…I’ll refer to them as snowflake drifts…to look skyward…and scream incoherently.

Minnesota: St. Cloud city council squelches citizen revolt over refugees

What happened at the St. Cloud, Minnesota, City Council on Monday night is being described as a well-organized “ambush” designed to shut down a citizen uprising or “pocket of resistance” against runaway refugee resettlement in the small city.

College-age students filled the council chambers. Only five people were allowed to approach the podium and speak, all of them in favor of unlimited refugee resettlement with no accountability to the taxpayer.

A resolution was hastily introduced, read and voted on.

Mission accomplished.

The ambush was successful.

And the local Somali community is now celebrating.

It all started when several of the council members who support unlimited refugee resettlement with no financial accountability to the taxpayer were informed that one of their colleagues, Councilman Jeff Johnson, planned to introduce a resolution at their Nov. 6 meeting calling for a moratorium on all resettlements in St. Cloud until an economic impact study could be completed.

Johnson’s resolution would also require the city to verify that it is in full compliance with all facets of the federal Refugee Act of 1980 as signed by then-president Jimmy Carter.

But Johnson’s opponents, clearly having collaborated among themselves beforehand, sprung a new resolution on the public at the Monday, Oct. 23, meeting and passed it 5-1 after begrudgingly allowing only a few minutes of debate.

The efforts by Johnson to support financial accountability were undercut before they were even heard in a public forum.

Councilman Jeff Goerger made sure of it. His “Resolution in Support of a Just and Welcoming Community” states that the city will not make any effort to investigate or audit the federal refugee program that has transformed the city’s demographics over the past decade and loaded up its welfare system with Third Worlders, most of them from the failed state of Somalia that has been bogged down in perpetual civil war for nearly three decades and continues to ship its citizens to Western democracies in Europe, Canada and the United States by the tens of thousands every year.

After six more Somali youths were caught trying to leave the state to join ISIS, Minnesota’s Obama-appointed U.S. Attorney Andrew Luger admitted at a press conference on April 20, 2015, that “We have a terror recruiting problem in Minnesota.”

Then, just over a year later, the terrorism came home to St. Cloud itself, when 21-year-old Nadir Adan, a Somali refugee, carried out a knife attack at the Crossroads Center mall, injuring 10 people, two critically, after asking many of his victims if they were Muslims. Those who said no got stabbed.

That may have been St. Cloud’s crossroads moment. Instead of taking the threat seriously, they backed off and swallowed the propaganda of the Council on American-Islamic Relations and Lutheran Social Services, which rakes in millions of dollars by resettling Somali Muslims in the state.

It was clear on whose side the council members, other than Jeff Johnson, were standing at Monday’s meeting.

“I think it’s important to show people this one guy bringing forth a resolution is not the voice of the city council or the voice of the people in our community,” said Councilman Jeff Goerger, who introduced the “Welcoming and Just City” resolution before his colleague’s resolution could be introduced and voted on.

Goerger stated, to a resounding applause, that the city has absorbed the thousands of Somalis “without an impact on the city budget or our quality of life.”

The families of the 10 people stabbed at the mall by Dahir Adan last year might disagree with that “quality of life” remark. And what about the family of 20-year-old Davee Duvose, who was stabbed to death at a house party by Somali refugee Muhiyahdim Mohamed Hassan in July 2015? Their quality of life will no doubt never be the same.

Nearly 350 people showed up for Monday night’s meeting in an environment that some described as “chaotic,” with many holding signs and shouting down those with whom they disagreed. Some of the signs stated “Welcome Refugees!” and “We are one community! Don’t divide us!” Other signs stated “Save our city” and “Stop refugees now.”

“They tried to shut down discussion because they didn’t want Jeff [Johnson] to speak at all,” said Ron Branstner, who was at the meeting. “People were yelling, ‘Don’t let him speak!’ and ‘He’s out of order!’ The president of city council [Carol Lewis] did not want him to speak.”

And as the link above describes the meeting,  St. Cloud isn’t a welcoming city:

The St. Cloud Times article covering last night’s meeting showed a picture of Councilman Johnson surrounded by 5-7 Somali men. The caption for the Times’ photo read “St. Cloud City Council member Jeff Johnson talks with community leaders following a council meeting Monday, October 23, at city hall.” Dr. Palmer, a professor emeritus at St. Cloud State, issued a statement about what he saw happening. Dr. Palmer’s statement said “The Times’ article has a photo of Jeff surrounded. For the record, I was in the first row of the bleachers, directly behind where the city administrator sits. I was talking with a few people at the end of the council meeting when I noticed that Jeff was surrounded by 5 to 7 Somalian men. It appeared they were badgering Jeff and had him cornered. Fearing for his safety, I walked through the crowd and approached him, saying “Dr. Johnson, I need to talk to you right now.” I reached toward him and took his hand, saying let’s move near the door to talk. That is when I noticed the police officer and he was urging Jeff to go through the door. Once we were outside the Council Chamber, the officer asked that we move into the conference room located directly behind the chambers. When Jeff and I finished our conversation, the two officers in the conference room offered to escort Jeff and I to our cars. The uniformed officer previously told me that several of the men who surrounded Jeff were of concern. I think the officer was concerned for Jeff’s safety.”

This incident raises questions that can’t be ignored, though I’m certain that Mayor Kleis and the 5 ostriches that voted for Goerger’s resolution would rather ignore what happened.

France: Mother of jihadist child-murderer says, “The prophet permits the killing of Jewish children”

In Paris, France, the trial against Abelkader Merah (35), the brother of Mohammed Merah, is entering its fourth week. Mohammed Merah, the 23-year-old gunman who killed seven people, including three Jewish children, a teacher and three paratroopers whom he shot in the back, was shot and killed by French police after a 32-hour stand-off in 2012. His brother, Abelkader, is on trial for complicity in the killings. Special attention has been given to his mother’s, Zoulikha Aziri, testimony, which was given on 18 October.

Among the child victims of Mohammed Merah was 8-year-old Mirian Monsonego, whom he shot in the head. So here we have a jihadist family. The mother of Abelkader and Mohammed — according to witness Mohamed Sifaoui, who made a documentary on the family — stated that Zoulikha Aziri declared that “Arabs are born to hate the Jews” and that “the prophet permits the killing of Jewish children.“

This profound Jew-hatred is ingrained in Islamic supremacists and is often spewed publicly with no consequences. Some recent cases reported by Jihad Watch include:

• Toronto imam Ayman Elkasrawy prayed that Allah would kill all Jews, but instead of receiving a just penalty, Elkasrawy’s words were covered up by the Toronto Star. Robert Spencer held The Star accountable and took them to task, as did Honest Reporting.
• Another Toronto imam, Sheikh Abdulqani Mursal, at Masjid Al Hikma mosque in Toronto, explained that the fate of the Jews is to be killed by the Muslims.
• In the Netherlands, Muslims at a pro-Palestinian rally screamed and chanted about killing Jews.
• In Marseille, a former principal at a preparatory school for teens admitted to regularly advising Jews not to attend his institution, for fear of harassment by Muslim students.
• Saudi Cleric Mamdouh Al-Harb preached that the “Muslims’ war is with the Jews and not just with Zionists’ and that saying otherwise ‘constitutes a denial of the words of Allah and of the Prophet Muhammad’”.
• The list is endless. Meanwhile, UN Watch fired back at countries accusing Israel of apartheid and abuses: “Where are your Jews?”

One of the worst examples of Islamic Jew-hatred is the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement that acts against Israel for no justifiable reason. It aims to delegitimize the Jewish state, weaken it and finally destroy it, in accordance with the PA, Fatah, Hamas Charters and the repeated efforts by the Muslim countries surrounding Israel.

According to France 24, Zoulikha Aziri struggled on Wednesday, not hesitating to aim accusations at her younger son, in a fierce, but rambling and implausible defence of her elder son. Her testimony provoked anger with the family of her sons’ victims and incidents with the defence counsels. At the outset, she declared:

“Abdelkader has nothing to do with what has happened, what Mohammed did, it’s very serious, but he is dead. (…) Abdelkader was normal, he didn’t have problems. Mohammed was crazy (…) from when he was very small, he had problems. He said to me:’I have a voice in my head.’“

Aziri continued to offer contradictory evidence, aimed at putting the blame on Mohammed, in an attempt to weaken the evidence against Abdelkader. This attempt was undermined however, by a relative of the Merah family saying on Tuesday, that Zoulikha Aziri had said after the attacks that she was proud of her son “bringing France to its knees.”

Painting an idyllic picture of Abdelkader, she said he was “gentle at home” and practised “a normal Islam” and not a violent form of Salafism. She consistently blamed Mohammed for everything, including organising for an acquaintance of her sons, Sabri Essid, to go to Syria – even though Abdelkader has already admitted to organising the trip. When confronted with her virulent anti-Semitism, which was reported on by the ex-girlfriend of her oldest son, she defends herself by saying:

“All my doctors are Jews,“

inviting sneers from the public galleries. Summing up Aziri’s testimony, Géraldine Berger-Stenger, defence counsel for one of the civil parties, said that:

“She was lying through her teeth, covering for Abdelkader and putting the blame on Mohamed Merah.“

Dupond-Moretti, cousel for the accused, tried to defend her by saying she is “both the mother of the accused and the mother of a dead son“, which earned him the vocal protests of the galleries. The brother of Imad Ibn Ziaten, one of the paratrooper victims, shouted:

“Shut up! You are not ashamed! You are wicked people, you are pieces of shit, you are assassins!“

They are also drawn by the average American themselves, glued to their television screens and subjected to the “other” dealing verbal abuse and violence on the “us.”

Everyone is either denouncing white supremacy, white racism, and Nazis; or they are bashing Commies, blacks, and anyone on the left. Everyone is joining their “team” and preparing for battle, as if some racial or ideological coup will result in the betterment of their situation. Keyboard commandos are typing away that if the “us” can rid ourselves of the “other” we will somehow reach a new utopia. Fanatical ideologues from both the left and the right are in the streets preaching the same message.

Donald Trump has a role to play in this but it’s not what you think. Trump, whatever he may be, has been linked with white supremacy, white nationalism, and general racism when nothing in his campaign or his presidency has ever suggested that this is the case (except, perhaps, for the nomination of Jeff Sessions who is now going after “Nazis” when he himself was once considered too racist for ’80s Kansas Republicans). The “left” in America immediately linked Trump with the Unite the Right Activists and demanded that he condemn only the right wing troublemakers. Trump, to his credit, denounced racism, hatred, and violence on both sides. For the “left,” however, that was not enough. Nothing is ever enough. Trump had to call out only whites and right wingers or he is a Nazi.

As a result of political pressure – itself a result of insanity and culture creation – Trump finally condemned the white protest groups and only the white protest groups, announcing a violation of the First and probably the Fourth Amendment should his new policy be taken to its logical conclusion. But that was not enough for the “left” because, like flag worship and worship of military “service” on the right, nothing is ever enough. But it might be enough to initiate an impeachment proceeding at some point in the future if he goes ahead with plans to target participants. Once again, it looks like Trump has been routed by the Deep State. Expect more foreign policy aggression and more domestic oppression in the very near future as the Deep State grabs the wheel and helps Trump keep it between the lines.

There are a number of questionable aspects to this event that should make people take a step back and think hard about what is happening here. The police, despite the violence and despite expecting the violence, stood down and let it continue. The car crasher narrative is full of fishy details such as his actual connection to white nationalist groups and a personal history that might raise red flags. Many white nationalist activists were not only from out of state but of questionable loyalties (from the point of view of the group itself) and Antifa had a very well-coordinated presence. Both sides were stacked with bodies from outside of Charlottesville.

And then came Boston. Once seen as the city where the concept that would be considered free speech was birthed, it may now be the city in which free speech comes to die. After all, it was recently the scene of 40,000 protesters who came to march against the concept of free speech itself, claiming free speech is just a cover for “Nazism.”

Ironically, most of the participants in the counter-rally in Boston were just typical Democrats and “leftists” who put about as much effort into research as one does choosing a breakfast cereal from the cabinet. Reading emotional headlines on Facebook about the Free Speech Rally which was really a gathering of scary “fascists,” “Nazis,” and “White Supremacists,” these individuals rushed out to save the world from non-violent demonstration and expression. Of course, the event was not a white supremacist rally; it was a rally to re-affirm the concept of free speech. It had individuals from every walk of life, race, gender, and political ideology. Black Lives Matter was invited to speak, but BLM refused to do so. Instead, BLM joined Antifa and other violent groups to attack the participants and engage in violence to make sure that free speech, not racist ideologies, is put back in the closet. No doubt most of the participants in the counter-protest thought they were fighting Nazis and the KKK. Antifa and BLM, however, were there to fight free speech.

It’s also ironic that so many radicalized leftists are now arguing that “free speech is just a cover for Nazism” and warn against the dangers of becoming a “free speech fetishist.” If this doesn’t solidify a person’s position as an enemy of free people, I don’t know what will.

There’s nothing like seeing a young lesbian being labeled a bigot and symbol of “Nazi hate.” There’s nothing like seeing a self-described “radical feminist” from the ’60s being shouted down as a “Nazi” by a man proclaiming to be fighting for “women’s rights.” Watching the live stream, I saw this very “radical feminist from the ’60s” trying to reason with unreasonable people, pointing out that, without free speech, she would never have been able to speak out for her cause decades ago. She was immediately decried as a fascist by the very group of people who are trying to eliminate her right to free speech. Is this not a hallmark of fascism? This level of cognitive dissonance is scarcely conceivable.

In another example of cognitive dissonance, the radicals of the “revolutionary left” claim that “free speech” is cover for Nazism and, since Nazism killed 6-14 million people, free speech should not be allowed in their case. However, following that logic, shouldn’t we prioritize banning the free speech of Antifa and BLM? After all, Communism killed at least 150 million people in two countries alone. Wouldn’t Communism then be the greater danger?

Obviously, free speech is free speech. So long as speech doesn’t become an overt act of violence (saying we should do something is different from actually doing it) or restriction of rights, etc., it must be allowed and protected. This is the case for BLM, Communists, flag burners and, yes, even Nazis. Freedom of Speech is the most basic human and civil right. It is the last line of defense for anyone with a grievance and for any oppressed minority. It must be protected and defended at all costs.

What is clear, though, is that Love did not Trump Hate in Boston. Hate and Fascism Trumped Freedom and Free Speech.

It is also important to point out that, while 40k leftists found it possible to march in the streets against Nazis that were never even there, they were quiet as mice for eight years as their messiah bombed the shit out of Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria, Somalia, Pakistan, destroyed Ukraine, and aided in the bombing and destruction of Yemen. Even now, with the ultimate orange-haired Satan in office, leftists still can’t find it in their hearts to oppose bombing any of the aforementioned countries.

So congratulations to all the protesters who flooded the streets to protest free speech and have the most basic of human rights dismantled. You have made yourself the enemy of free people and of oppressed minorities everywhere.

Make no mistake, the events in Charlottesville and Boston are only the beginning of what is coming to America. This is not the result of two opposing sides at the grassroots; it is the Hegelian dialectic playing out once again, and the American people, true to form, are falling for it. Out of this problem, we have already seen the reaction and, soon, we will see a solution. Of course, that solution will come from the top down. I, personally, am convinced that these marches, rallies, and events have been carefully constructed to achieve an ultimate goal. The overwhelming majority of white supremacist groups have long been infiltrated and controlled by agents of the federal government, and there is scarcely a leftist group that can survive longer than two weeks without a paycheck from George Soros.

America is falling apart at the seams. It may soon become an unlivable country. As its empire continues to spread across the world and as the once most powerful economy on the face of the earth continues to hemorrhage jobs, the junk heap of infrastructure that was once the envy of the world is now the scene of skirmishes between increasingly radicalized people, hyped up on political and racial ideology, gender issues, sexuality, and religion. Unlike Rome, America won’t need Barbarians to crash its gates. They’re already inside.

The country that baptized itself in blood from the very beginning and has created entire generations of bloodthirsty citizens will then see the chickens of war and collapse come home to roost.

In 1987, seven decades after Russia’s Communist Revolution and the generations of misery, mayhem and murder that it seeded worldwide, Ronald Reagan delivered a speech at Berlin’s Brandenburg Gate where John F. Kennedy had delivered his condemnation of communism a quarter-century earlier.

Reagan, whose administration is credited by all fair-minded historians as engineering the 1991 fall of the Evil Empire, issued this challenge: “There stands before the entire world one great and inescapable conclusion: Freedom leads to prosperity. … General Secretary Gorbachev, if you seek peace, if you seek prosperity for the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe, if you seek liberalization: Come here to this gate! Mr. Gorbachev, open this gate! Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!”

Those iconic words, “Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall,” did indeed set in motion the demolition of the much-hated Berlin Wall, just as it signaled the beginning of the end of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics and freedom for its subordinate satellite states.

Russia’s “Red October” Revolution was inspired by the Communist Manifesto, published by Karl Marx in 1848. Marx wrote, “The theory of the Communists may be summed up in the single sentence: Abolition of private property. … Take away the heritage of a people and they are easily destroyed.”

That same year, historian Alexis de Tocqueville offered a different perspective: “Democracy extends the sphere of individual freedom, socialism restricts it. Democracy attaches all possible value to each man; socialism makes each man a mere agent, a mere number. Democracy and socialism have nothing in common but one word: equality. But notice the difference: while democracy seeks equality in liberty, socialism seeks equality in restraint and servitude.”

As history would have it, Russian revolutionary leader Vladimir Lenin sided with Marx: “The goal of socialism,” he said, “is communism.” But instead of a utopian socialist “workers’ paradise,” a succession of brutal communist tyrants unleashed seven decades of global terror — at an incalculable human toll.

The resulting ideological Cold War between East and West was delineated by what Winston Churchill described as the “Iron Curtain.” In 1949, Harry Truman noted, “We believe that all men are created equal because they are created in the image of God. From this faith we will not be moved. … Communism is based on the belief that man is so weak and inadequate that he is unable to govern himself, and therefore requires the rule of strong masters.”

Three years later, Truman’s successor, Dwight Eisenhower, warned, “The Bill of Rights contains no grant of privilege for a group of people to destroy the Bill of Rights. A group — like the Communist conspiracy — dedicated to the ultimate destruction of all civil liberties, cannot be allowed to claim civil liberties as its privileged sanctuary from which to carry on subversion of the Government.”

But while Truman and Eisenhower expressed our nation’s largely bipartisan disdain for communism in the post-WWII era, the ideology had its stateside supporters: “I am for socialism,” Roger Baldwin insisted. “I seek social ownership of property, the abolition of the propertied class, and sole control of those who produce wealth. Communism is the goal.”

Is it any wonder that Baldwin went on to co-found the American Civil Liberties Union?

In 1959, Soviet leader Nikita Khrushchev told Eisenhower’s Cabinet Secretary Ezra Taft Benson: “Your children’s children will live under communism. You Americans are so gullible. No, you won’t accept Communism outright, but we’ll keep feeding you small doses of Socialism until you will finally wake up and find that you already have Communism. We won’t have to fight you; We’ll so weaken your economy, until you fall like overripe fruit into our hands.”

In the two decades that followed, communism and socialism metastasized around the world, until three electoral events changed the course of history in a matter of months: the election of Pope John Paul II on October 16, 1978; the election of British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher on May 3, 1979; and the election of President Ronald Reagan on November 4, 1980. Together, these three champions of Freedom would wage an all-out ideological war on communism.

For the record, between 1917 and 1991, there were almost 150 million civilian casualties of communist dictatorships, the three largest dictatorial offenders being China (73,237,000), the USSR (58,627,000) and Germany (11,000,000). Where those dictatorships exist today, the slaughter continues.

That appalling history notwithstanding, The New York Times, the statist journal of record, is celebrating the centennial of Lenin’s Bolshevik Revolution — the advent of communism — with an extensive series “The Red Century.” The Times pretends to explore the ideological failings of communism in an effort to rehabilitate, if not romanticize, the ideology’s reputation, which The Times bravely notes is “morally complex.”

The murder and planned starvation of more than 150 million civilians over the last century is not “morally complex.”

As an antidote to the Times’ communist coddling, John Stossel and Jonah Goldberg provide two far more succinct and vigorous perspectives on communism.

Of course, National Socialism and Democratic Socialism are much the same as Marxist Socialism — behind a façade. Leftists would like you to believe that there’s a clear distinction, but Adolf Hitler was certainly a socialist.

In his autobiography Mein Kampf, Hitler wrote of his Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei (National Socialist German Workers’ Party, the “NAZI Party”), “The party should not become a constable of public opinion, but must dominate it. It must not become a servant of the masses, but their master.” On the socialist state versus individual Liberty, he wrote, “The unity of a nation’s spirit and will are worth far more than the freedom of the spirit and will of an individual; and that the higher interests involved in the life of the whole must here set the limits and lay down the duties of the interests of the individual.”

Of course, despotism has always been an element of evil human behavior. In John Locke’s 1690 Second Treatise on Civil Government, he wrote, “Despotical power is absolute, arbitrary power of one person to take the life and property of another against their will.”

Having witnessed the fate of the Soviet Union, the world’s most powerful communist dictator of the present day, Xi Jinping of the People’s Republic of China, endeavors to avoid a similar fate by implementing a “socialist market economy” while maintaining strong central government control. At present, China has the world’s fastest growing economy, though it’s still only ranked 106th by per capita GDP. But that success masks a very fragile political foundation subject to trade balance tremors, which is why Xi continues to prop up his nuclear puppet North Korea as a defense against U.S. trade sanctions.

However, while communist dictators pay attention to history, leftist socialism deniers in America are more entrenched than ever. We would do well to revisit Nikita Khrushschev’s assertion that “Your children’s children will live under communism,” and ask whether it still poses a real risk.

Of course it does. As dystopian novelist Aldous Huxley wrote, “That men do not learn very much from the lessons of history is the most important of all the lessons of history.” Or, as that esteemed savant Forrest Gump observed, “Stupid is as stupid does.”

After eight years of failed domestic and foreign policies under Barack Obama, whose radical statism and populist socialism were shaped by his Marxist mentors, the newest iteration of the Democrats’ neo-communists, the ironically named “antifa movement,” is thriving.

In the wake of Donald Trump’s improbable victory over Hillary Clinton, who had earlier sandbagged her party’s overt socialist protagonist Bernie Sanders, the Democratic Socialists have shifted into anger-fueled high gear.

Most of these socialist sympathizers gravitate toward statism because they want somebody to take care of them. They have no sense of history, never took a civics class, and have never lifted a finger in defense of the Liberty they now enjoy.

Ignorance is bliss, until it’s not.

So who’s holding the line? The growing ranks of American Patriots, that’s who.

We come from all walks of life and every corner of our nation, but at the end of the day, after doing our best to make ends meet in the great diversity of stations we occupy, and despite our differences, we have this in common: As heirs to the blessings of Liberty, the innate and inherent Rights of Man bequeathed to us at great personal cost by our Patriot forebears and generations since, we are resolute that it is our duty “to Support and Defend” that blessing, and avow upon our sacred honor to extend it to the next generation. We are vigilant, strong, prepared and faithful in that resolve.

As such, we recognize that no form of government has been more antithetical to Liberty than the tyrannical communist and socialist regimes in the last century, and we will never acquiesce to those in our own country, whose goal is “fundamentally transforming the United States of America” from a nation guided by Rule of Law and supported by free enterprise to one subdued by the statist rule of men under the increasingly oppressive “progressivism” of Democratic Socialism.

In the words of Joseph Story from his Commentaries on the Constitution, “Let the American youth never forget, that they possess a noble inheritance, bought by the toils, and sufferings, and blood of their ancestors.” Please help us defend Liberty and extend that blessing to the next generation with your support of the 2017 Patriot Annual Fund.
