Showing himself to be a class act, Rush Limbaugh apologized to Ms Fluke. Rush further explained that his apology was not the result of losing sponsors. Rush said he turns down millions of dollars in sponsors each years. Rush said he apologized because he realized he had taken his sarcasm, to prove a point, a bit too far.
Folks, when I was a little boy, I said I wanted to grow up to be a man. What was my image of a man? My dad and Sheriff Andy Taylor of Mayberry. Both men seemed to always try to do the right thing regardless of the consequences or people's opinions.
It frustrates me that whenever a conservative says the wrong thing or makes a mistake, conservatives run for the tall grass to distance themselves from our colleague caught in the media's crosshairs.
Well, I “ain't” doing that! Unapologetic, I love brother Rush!
I am not going to waste your time, stating the obvious about the media's hypocrisy regarding defending women. We all know they never defend conservative women, when viciously attacked.
I thought, “Oh my gosh, what if the left finally succeeded in getting the FCC to kick Rush off of the air? What would we do?” But then a truth I have learned over the years, gave me peace. As much as I appreciate Rush's efforts and extremely powerful influence in our tea party movement, no man is our source. God is our source.
Sadly, we lost brother Andrew. King Obama has decreed, bring me the head of Rush Limbaugh. Obama and his mainstream media machine's evil efforts will fail. Cause last time I checked, God is still in control. Hang in there patriots, we're gonna win!

The fact of the matter is this. insurance providers have always had the option to offer coverage for various things, as it should be. It should be up to them, not the government.
From a practical business angle, it may be economically prudent for the insurors to "offer" (as an option) to pay for BC. It would seem that this would be to their benefit; less expensive than paying for prenatal and delivery costs. But again, it should be left up to the insurors to make that decisison.
BTW, reffering to women that use BC in derogatory terms, just because the use BC, just don't seem right. There's allot of married women and women in monogomous relationships that use BC. Are we going to call them nasty names too?
I think this whole uproar has been just another distraction by the Obama administraton, to cammoflauge something more sinister that he's up to. Or maybe he's trying to find the right button to push to cause the people to take up arms against him. He'd love to declare Martial Law before the elections.
Thank you Monkia! Very well said!!!
Oh geez, Gail...you aren't even on the topic. Your issues don't even relate to what is being discussed and you know it. Stop trying to 'liberalize' what is directly in front of you.
I am a military wife and let me tell you Gail we have nothing to say about our health insurance or anything else!!! We did not stand in front of the American people and whine about what we think we are entitled to We move when the government demands us to , we live in places we would much rather not and we are never consulted about our preferences!! Get off your high horse and look at the problem! Are we to supply sex toys for these losers next??? Where does it stop this entitlement demand?? Sex seems to be these womens hobby and I don't believe we should have to pay for anyones hobbies!!!
My niece, a Republican, is serving her country in the Middle East. She is on birth control. She emailed me to ask if she is a "slut" for having them under her insurance plan. She says this is a big topic right now and her group says that Fluke is wrong but it is wrong to call her a slut. Nicole wants me to ask "my friends" if they think she is a slut, too. She and I are on instant message tonight.
I'm not missing any points. Government workers are getting birth control pills at our expense bc they are paid by taxpayers. I want to know if they are sluts or not.
And, just for reference....when I was in my 20s and 30s....I paid FOR MY OWN BIRTH CONTROL! It was an individual choice....not one made by 'the government' and forced upon other people to pony up and pay for....no, you make your choices and you live with them...that is called INDIVIDUAL RESPONSIBILITY! And, before you even answer, yes, mine could have been considered 'medically necessary' at the time. But I paid for it...I did NOT expect others to pay for it!
Gail, get with the program....what you are discussing is NOT the issue! The issue is forcing people to pay for the birth control of others...while 'others' are promiscuous. What part of that are you NOT understanding???
You didn't answer me on military women, military wives and other govt employees being sluts for using birth control purchased under their employment health plan. If "we" the taxpayers are paying for it, does that make them a "slut".
I am greatly familiar with politically correct language and I think PC is a great problem in our nation. But it does not give us license to err in the other direction. I think you get it, but you don't want to get it. These are not rules established by the left, they are rules of decency.
Now, someone please tell me if you think all government employees, including military, are whores for getting birth control from their employer's health plan? Catholics, pls do not reply, bc I understand your stance on it from a religious standpoint and do not need further education. I would really like an answer to my question.
Gail, Gail...if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck...then it is a duck! What the heck is wrong with calling it as we see it? Nothing. Political correctness is no longer an issue-we reject it. Free speech is free speech. Why is it wrong to call it as we see it?? Because it is politically incorrect?? Sorry, as stated previously....we do not follow the rules established by the left anymore...
