George Eliot wrote:  "Blessed is the man, having nothing to say, abstains from giving us wordy evidence of the fact."  Therefore, I will only quote some of my favorite patriots for your consideration:

"When a well-packaged web of lies has been sold gradually to the masses over generations, the truth will seem utterly preposterous and its speaker a raving lunatic."  Donald James Wheal [Marxism, eugenics, global chaos, ACA/Obamacare, welfare...]

"The last official act of any government is the looting of the treasury."  George Washington [Govt. bailouts, crony capitalism, Quantitative Easing, massive welfare expenditures, Obamacare...]

"Government is not reason: it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master."  George Washington  [Patriot Act, Executive Fiat, the militarization of local police, secret armies, anti-gun legislation, the NSA, FBI, IRS, TSA, Homeland Security...]

"The strength or weakness of a society depends more on the level of its spiritual life than on its level of industrialization.  Neither a market economy nor even general abundance constitutes the crowning of human life.  If a nation's spiritual energies have been exhausted, it will not be saved from collapse by the most perfect government structure or by any industrial development.  A tree with a rotten core cannot stand."  [Assault on religious freedoms, abortion, prejudices and bigotry, assaults on the U.S. Constitution...]

  • Welcome. They hit right on but do our children in our public schools ever get facts on American History? Washington was a slave owner, but it did not say it was to keep them safe and they became family! He even had the colonies vote to remove slavery and it lost by one vote. that is when he went out to purchase those he ate with and loved! He was a devout "born again" Christian as were over 85 who signed our Declaration of Independence.
