NOT OBAMA IS NOT ENOUGH

In a time of such unrest, it is distressing no clear figure has emerged that conservatives can get excited about, lift their spirits and throw their support in the ring. So far, it's the "been there, done that" crowd, and after the disasterous 2008 campaign, conservatives are not jumping on the bandwagon for any of them.

NOT OBAMA IS NOT ENOUGH

....they (GOP) must be willing to detail specific alternatives to the Obama agenda

    So true, Lyman. Most of the people in congress need to be voted out, save a handful of true patriots. Those who think they know better than the people -- buh-bye!

    The problem is that one that I encounter and detest in business; process orientation. Fresh faces arrive in DC and with a few rare exceptions are vastly outnumbered by the entrenched establishment. They are divided and conquered: "We don't care what you promised your voters on the campaign. If you pull any of that $h!# here, we'll make sure that you don't get reelected."

    One positive sign is the formation of the Tea Party caucus by Michele Bachmann. The true believers elected in November will have support from like-minded patriots and not restraint by the perpetual doormats in leadership.

    The big achievement will be keeping the fire lit until at least 2014 to tilt the U.S. Senate, the most obnoxious example of abuse of process, in the right direction.

    That's quite a list, Phil. I pray to God someone comes forward with the backbone to stop this nonsense.
