Where are Jim, Tim, and Franklin now?
Just in case you might have wondered how their ineptitude affected their
lives after they ruined so many dreams and lives. Where are Jim, Tim and Franklin now?
Here's a quick look into the three former Fannie Mae executives who
brought down Wall Street.
Franklin Raines - was a Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at Fannie
Mae. Raines was forced to retire from his position with Fannie Mae when
auditing discovered severe irregularities in Fannie Mae's accounting
activities. Raines left with a "golden parachute valued at $240 Million
in benefits. The Government filed suit against Raines when the depth
of the accounting scandal became clear.
Tim Howard - was the Chief Financial Officer of Fannie Mae. Howard "was
a strong internal proponent of using accounting strategies that would
ensure a "stable pattern of earnings" at Fannie. Investigations by federal
regulators and the company's board of directors since concluded that
management did manipulate 1998 earnings to trigger bonuses. Raines and
Howard resigned under pressure in late 2004. Howard's Golden Parachute
was estimated at $20 Million!
Jim Johnson - A former executive at Lehman Brothers and who was later
forced from his position as Fannie Mae CEO. Investigators found that
Fannie Mae had hidden a substantial amount of Johnson's 1998
compensation from the public, reporting that it was between $6 million
and $7 million when it fact it was $21 million." Johnson is currently under
investigation for taking illegal loans from Countrywide while serving as
CEO of Fannie Mae. Johnson's Golden Parachute was estimated at
$28 Million.

Kinda makes you sick to your stomach.
Our government is rotten to the core !

There's gotta be some big mortgage banks, lenders, involved with this too, 'n more likely now appointed czars, 'n officials within the federal housing dept, insuring gov't guaranteed properties remain gov't property.Has public property diminishes, so do the publics rights, just has those who now live in gov't subsidized housing must meet the regulations of its owning body.Ya don't think the property investments of acorn was done out of compassion for the poor, elderly, 'n disabled, do ya. It's a tax exempt racket, that funds a great deal of the lefts passions.Owning the property,they own the tenants,and the tenants become the channel to sustain their lives,paid for by the U.S. taxpayer.
We can vote in 2012 and have a majorty but the Oshi*will steal the election by his cohorts like the new black polecats acorn and all the other scum will stuff the ballot boxs like they did the first time.We might as well drag out our slingshots and stones and prepare for a civil war.If Mitt does win the Oshi* wont go quitley he will have to be removed by force.He will instigate national riots by the blacks who look at him as their black messiah.Most of them poor souls are just plain gullable.They have been sold a bill of goods by the likes of jessie jackson and al the liar sharpton. telling them how whity,the crackers,honkiees have treated them so bad.To bad that americas first black president had to be a kenyen and not a real black american.The Oshi* is using them and they dont know it.
Each one of them should be sued for every penny they have robbed off the American people, it would make a great Class Action Lawsuit, quick before we enact Torte reforms....Then it should be divided equally among all the people who's incomes directly went down as a result of the downturn in the Housing Industry, which I think is every American Homeowner... Their golden parachutes should be given back to the taxpayers.

You are definitely not simple minded. To be frank, I don't know too many people who have an understanding of current political undercurrents as you do. NDAA is another joint effort by both sides of the isle, the purpose of which is not clear. Any major changes in policy such as the Council of Governors concerns me. If we didn't require it before, what do we require of it now? I hope it is not too late also. Amen.
James, great explanation of state's ability to nullify federal law. The question being, what do you suppose the Council of Governors is really all about and how does it apply to the NDAA?

That's what makes this election so bizarre. They choose a Rightwing politician to compeat against a Leftwing politician on the premise that the Leftwing politician will destroy the country based on a policy that the Rightwing politician already implemented on a state wide basis six years ago. What could be more ironic. What could be more insulting to the public's intelligence. It's as if they tested the concept under a Rightwing politician's watch, transfered it to a national level under a Leftwing politician's term where they are running into opposition so they use the Rightwing politician who originally implemented it to be the opposition to the Leftwing politician implementing the same plan.
What I can't help but think of is maditory car insurance, which, if you don't use it, is essentially manditory payment for a service that may not be used or show any return. If you attempt to use it, there is a good chance the insurance company will refuse payment claiming any number of loopholes they may have created.
Now think about how this applies to your health care. What the Supreme Court has decided is Constitutional is to force citizens to pay for something they may never use or benefit from, then it is at the insurance companies descretion as to whether it will be afforded to you, with the state taking the position as the final arbitrator should you decide to pursue the issue. And now health care is to incorporate what is commonly referred to as "death panels." If the insurance companies are to make an assessment as to whether health care is neccessary in your particular instance, I'm sure death panels will play an increasingly integral role. How could this possibly be construded as Constitutional? Because the insurance industry and the IRS want it?
Another thing it appears they are doing is padding the role of the IRS. There has been talk in recent years of doing away with the IRS with a fair tax. This may benefit the taxayer but would not be benefitial to the federal government. This could be construed as another attempt to circumvent the will of the people.
And we wonder "why" the obama-soetoro campaign is running out of cash?? Not really, look who he's got "handling he cash" - -some of the biggest thieves on the planet!!
