The original intent of the founders was to have a Federalist system which consisted of individual states and a small central government with very limited powers. The idea was that the states would send the senators to Washington to represent them. If a senator started voting against the best interests of the state which he represented, he could be immediately recalled.
What happens today when a senator violates his oath of office and votes for unconstitutional bills? Nothing. I remember many years ago that if a father came home from work he would hear his wife tell of a corruption and so they would watch the 6 pm news. Of course I am not against anyone choosing to work. This is not what I am saying. We need to check out the changes and remember what is called balance in our life. Never be a devout Liberal or devout Conservative! Today Conservatives are called radical Conservatives! I mean, who really wants honor and morality in government? If one does, the Liberal media labels them radicals!
If one wants to teach our American children about honor and being responsible, you are labelled radicals! Liberals suggest that is somehow of a religious nature! We all know that all societies lived in this or died! We have to support responsibility instead of the Liberal childishness that has corrupted America and us as individuals!
No it is not. We do not need less voice by allowing the State to take over our voting rights. All I see is attacks on our Amendments or our own Constitutional rights and few suggest what the problem has been since the founding our our Country. We do not have a say as to is appointed to the Supreme Court. When women wanted the vote or when black Americans wanted the vote and insisted, who kept them from this? The Supreme Court and against the majority of our wishes.
If we really had a say would not Obama Care of been rejected by the Supreme Court because it attacks all Americans right to choose? We are loosing or moral right to choose on majopr issues and it is because we allow a bad media to support those that have shown not to listen to us but trample on our rights and our Constitution.
If we keep electing those who do not support the word honor for adults and children; who refuse to listen to most Americans; and spearhead support for everything our Country once stood for, we are getting what we voted for. We note, of course that the last election has been proven crooked and some of this illegal voting by the Communist supporting unions. The unions were once a good thing and for us workers but now they seem to think, for some reason, that workers should be forced to join. It makes us wonder as was before most workers wanted our unions because they were for the worker. Now they are simple puppets of the Liberal/Communist movement! A lesson: What was the label on JFK as President? A Moderate Democrat, right? Our day would call him a Right Wing Conservative! "Ask not what your Country can do for you but ask what you can do for your Country!" A real Democrat that supports Democracy! There are none in our present Democratic Party and they are an insult to America!
