Democrats struggling to rebuild their party after their stunning 2016 presidential defeat were dealt another blow on Thursday: Donna Brazile’s acknowledgement that the Democratic National Committee tipped the scales in favor of Hillary Clinton during last year’s primary.
In a surprising excerpt from her upcoming book, Brazile, who took over the DNC on an interim basis last year after Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (R-Fla.) stepped down as chair, criticized the agreement between Clinton’s 2016 campaign and the DNC meant to keep the party financially viable.
The arrangement, she wrote in a book excerpt published in Politico, was “not illegal, but it sure looked unethical.”
“If the fight had been fair, one campaign would not have control of the party before voters had decided which one they wanted to lead,” Brazile wrote. “This was not a criminal act, but as I saw it, it compromised the party’s integrity.”Democratic circles were abuzz on Thursday after Brazile’s piece was published because, as one former Clinton aide put it, “it poured buckets of salt on the wounds” of the party.
“It's another episode of the 2016 soap opera everyone wishes was over, that’s for damn sure,” said Tracy Sefl, a Democratic consultant who served as a surrogate to the Clinton campaign during the 2016 race.
Democrats appearing on cable television on Thursday were asked about Brazile’s revelations, and entered the unending fight.
Asked by CNN’s Jake Tapper if the Democratic Party was indeed rigged for Clinton, Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) offered a simple “Yes.”
Sanders aides and supporters said Brazile’s admission proved that they were right all along when they said the DNC was tipping the scales in favor of Clinton.
Jeff Weaver, who served as Sanders’s former campaign manager, called the DNC actions “egregious” and “undemocratic” in an interview with CNN’s Brooke Baldwin.
“It can’t be allowed to happen again,” Weaver said.
“Let me tell this to the elites who today still control much of the Democratic Party apparatus: If you do not open up the party, if you do not allow the people in, if you do not advocate for the types of reforms that we need, you will be destroying the opportunity we have to take on Donald Trump,” Weaver cautioned.
In the interview, Weaver hinted that the DNC’s behavior could have prevented Sanders from ultimately vying against Donald Trump.
“There is no doubt that he would have defeated Donald Trump,” he said.
A Clinton spokesman did not return a request for comment.
Multiple Democrats have talked to The Hill about how those tensions complicate the party’s efforts to rebuild.
In her new book, Clinton accused Sanders of inflicting damage on her campaign. And Clinton supporters were miffed when Sanders was asked to speak at a women’s event in Detroit last month.
“The problem is, some Hillary people still can’t accept the reality that she was a flawed candidate, so they’re trying to blame it on anybody else just like she did in her book,” Bill Press, a Sanders surrogate and radio talk show host, said in an email to The Hill. Sanders aides appearing Thursday generally sought to take the high road.
Weaver in his interview with Baldwin repeatedly said it was important for Democrats to move on and unify in opposition to Trump's policies.
Press argued that that Sanders is “doing the right thing” by refusing to “get drawn into Hillary bullshit, while criss-crossing the country in support of progressive candidates and helping rebuild the Democratic Party.”
But when it comes to putting the pieces back together, Democrats say they’re concerned about how the party will unify.
“I think it’s a problem. It really is,” said Brad Bannon, a Democratic strategist. “It’s going to make it that much harder to come together. And now that there’s confirmation that this actually went on, it makes it increasingly difficult to incorporate the Bernie people."
“And I don’t blame them either,” Bannon added. “Now there’s confirmation of it, and they have every right to be angry about it because they knew it all along.”

by Political Editors: The federal government’s over-regulation doesn’t just consume Americans’ money and time, it’s impacting our freedom as well. One issue that has slowly gained the attention of an increasing number of Americans and politicians is the need for criminal justice reforms. America’s high prison populations, along with a high number of repeat offenders, is pointed to by many as evidence suggesting that the nation’s penal system is seriously broken. In October, Senate Republicans introduced three bills designed to reform the criminal justice system. These bills are a step in the right direction, but they still overlook one major component of the problem rarely mentioned — the problem of over-criminalization. Put simply, there are way too many federal laws and regulations on the books. Experts who have studied the problem estimate that only about 5,000 of the more than 300,000 criminally enforceable federal laws have ever been directly voted on by Congress. That means that almost 99% of the federal criminal law code has been created by unelected bureaucrats working within executive branch agencies. In other words, there are no elected officials who the American public can hold accountable for these federal laws. This was not how the federal government was designed to work, as the job of the creating and voting on laws is supposed to be the responsibility of the legislative branch, not the executive. Basic American civics.
How did we end up here? Much of the initial blame falls on Franklin D. Roosevelt and his New Deal executive power grab. Since 1940, the number of civilians employed in the executive branch has tripled. Along with increasing the size and scope of the executive branch was the development of legal doctrine stipulating that courts are to defer to a federal agency’s own interpretations of the scope of its authority. Essentially, these federal agencies have been granted the power to make whatever rules they claim fit within their own defined authority. According to the Competitive Enterprise Institute, for every law Congress passes, federal agencies create 18 new regulations.
The greater number of criminal laws created, the greater the potential for more Americans to run afoul of those laws, intentionally so or not. More rules create more rule breakers. This power must return to Congress, where elected officials can be held directly responsible for the laws they vote on. No more of this handing off power and authority to unelected career bureaucrats.

The ad began with minority children (including one Muslim) walking along the street, only to become terrified by a truck sporting a Gadsden Flag license plate and flying a Confederate flag in the back because, the implication was, the driver was seeking to run them down. Each of the kids awakens to find it was only a dream, but the viewer is meant to conclude their fears were founded because Republicans are racist. After the New York terror attack Tuesday involving a jihadi running down his victims with a truck, the Latino Victory Fund — funded in part by George Soros — pulled the ad. Its mission was accomplished anyway.
As Becket Adams writes, “It shouldn’t have taken an act of terror for the Latino Victory Fund to realize its ad was in extremely poor taste, and that it did nothing to lift our political discourse, but we’ll take the small victories where we can find them.”

Three observations: First, as LVF president Cristóbal J. Alex explained, “We knew our ad would ruffle feathers. We held a mirror up to the Republican Party, and they don’t like what they see.” The second part is garbage and any honest person knows that. On Wednesday, she stepped into the foray once again, this time sounding off on men and women. “It’s like the problem in the world today is we love our boys, and we raise our girls,” liar-nObama said. “We raise them to be strong, and sometimes we take care not to hurt men — and I think we pay for that a little bit.” How so? “Are we protecting our men too much so they feel a little entitled and … self-righteous sometimes? But, that’s kind of on us too as women and mothers, as we nurture men and push girls to be perfect.” If anyone knows about self-righteous entitlement it’s Democrats. It’s true that in our increasingly feminized and fatherless society, boys are no longer taught to be real men. We don’t think that’s what liar-Michelle means.
But never fear; Democrats are doing something about all this white male privilege that’s supposedly plaguing our society.
The Daily Wire reports, “In an email issued to DNC insiders on Monday, Data Services manager Madeleine Leader announced that the Technology Department is looking to fill several positions and asked interested parties to forward the openings to their colleagues.” But some folks need not apply. “I personally would prefer that you not forward to cisgender straight white males, since they’re already in the majority,” she added.
Ah, the party of diversity and inclusion. In reality, Democrats are the party of division and grievance, seeking to “rectify” wrongs both real and perceived by punishing white men who had nothing to do with it. Witness their fearmongering ad in Virginia. Or countless other examples of denigrating and destroying men rather than contributing to a culture of American value.

It was a little while ago that Sen. John McCain was awarded the Liberty Medal from the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia. The Liberty Medal is given to those who have “secured the blessings of personal liberty to people the world over.” In the speech McCain spoke brashly about of the current President. It is alarming that this particular award was given to a Senator who has constantly ignored the damage done to civil liberties in the search for “national security”. Senator McCain has never worried about past conflicts started without Congressional approval, at least until Donald Trump became President. Now he wants in on the action and to make the decisions for going to war that are not his to make.
The speech was nothing more than Trump bashing by the ultimate RINO. He talks of abandoning the “Ideals we have advanced around the globe” but neglects to mention embracing the gangs of thugs in the Middle East from Saudi Arabia, to Libya, and even as far back as Kosovo. McCain has thrown his policies behind the Yemen debacle that has led to war crimes and disasters to the people of the poverty stricken country. The foreign policy that has been developed by this senator has led to wars in countries we should not be in because McCain has pushed for agreements that do not benefit those countries. There have been conflicts started by our country with countries that had the temerity to disagree with this man. Of course, McCain clothes it all up in patriotism and freedom, values that disappear with the dust hanging heavily from the bombings over the areas like a evil cloud. While McCain spiels of “half baked nationalism” he continues to push an interventionism that is at best irresponsible and at worst criminal.
On the domestic front, McCain has clearly turned his back on the American people. Calling President Trump “poorly informed” and “impulsive” McCain has turned against the Wall and instead wants a “comprehensive” immigration bill that the progressive/socialist Democrats and the other RINOS can rally around. This was the same man who called “Antifa” and “Black Lives Matter” are the true Americans after Charlottesville. McCain tweeted “ There’s no moral equivalency between racists and Americans standing up to defy hate and bigotry.” Does this man not know that the main agenda of Antifa is to make American ungovernable. Perhaps that is what the globalists such as McCain really wants, to make America ungovernable. And isn’t this the same old man who called the Tea Party “wacko birds” and “hobbits” because they wanted to control spending and lower taxes. That should explain whose side McCain really is on.
Before our military leaders Defense Secretary James Mattis and Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Joseph Dunford, that made the decisions that make this country safe, McCain refused to allow nominations for positions of national security because they refused to state in an open forum what the processes were in place to move forward. Questions abound over this new McCain doctrine. Where was McCain when the “ leading from behind was failing so miserably, or when Obama went on his apology tour, or the ransom of over $1 billion paid to Iran or when the country’s Uranium was sold to the Russians by our government? Where was McCain when North Korea, Syria, Iran and Russia treated our country with impunity, knowing that our Muslim in Chief would do nothing to stop them. This is the abandoning of America’s Ideals that Sen. McCain is so vocal about now with President Trump. Where were you then Sir? I suggest the speech that you so knowingly gave when you awarded the Liberty Medal was about eight years too late.
It is a given that McCain has never forgiven President Trump saying he was not a war hero because he was captured. Now a globalist, McCain is using the rhetoric of the Soros backed globalists of which he is one.
The Trump dossier is also a sticking point that McCain has yet to explain. Aleksej Gubarev, a Russian tech executive that was named in the dossier is claimed to have been recruited by the FSB, the Russian intelligence agency. The question that is at the forefront of this situation is who gave the dossier to Buzzfeed to publish. According to Evan Fray-Witzer, Gubarev’s lawyer claimed that Buzzfeed asked Fusion GPS for the dossier and were refused, so how did they get it? Sen. McCain and a former official at the McCain Institute funded by George Soros, were told about the dossier and Kramer flew to London to met with Steele and procure the dossier. There are no answers forthcoming and even the Congressional committees are at a stalemate because Fusion GPS has pleaded the fifth.
McCain, understandably has been given leeway because he was a war hero from the same Vietnam War that I and many others also fought. The damage done to this country, to the military and the psyche of the conflict will never be over for many. Those who fought and died there on the whole did their part for a country that they loved.
On March 25th,1999 two of McCain fellow POW’s Ted Guy and Gordon Larson told the Phoenix New Times that they doubted McCain was physically harmed. While he was at The Plantation” he was not physically abused. The Plantation was the compound that people were released from and no one was ever physically abused. Upon his transfer to the Hanoi Hilton and by his own account McCain cracked after two or three days.McCain promised them military information if they would take him to the hospital where he denies that he received any special medical treatment. In the first two weeks in the hospital, the Hanoi government started press releases and announcements from John McCain. Divulged by McCain were specific military information and intelligence the location of his carrier and pertinent information on strength and numbers and even the location and number of rescue boats. The information about routes of incoming American aircraft helped the Hanoi government to increase the effectiveness of their air defense systems. Included in the information was altitude, direction and alist of targets American aircraft were intending to hit. This led to a an increase of 60% more aircraft lost and resulting in calling off of bombing of North Vietnam.

Imam Mohammad Tawhidi says he repeatedly warned New York Mayor Bill De Blasio about the terror threat in New York City but that he was ignored because De Blasio was more interested in undermining President Trump.
An Islamic terrorist pledging allegiance to ISIS killed eight people and injured at least eleven others yesterday, mowing them down in a pick-up truck on a bike track alongside West Street in Lower Manhattan.
Iranian-born Imam Mohammad Tawhidi revealed on Twitter that he had given De Blasio specific intelligence about the terror threat in the city but was rebuffed every time he reached out.
“About #NYC terrorist attack, I personally sent letters to Mayor De Blasio online & in person about terrorist breeding in NYC.He did nothing,” tweeted Tawhidi, adding, “In 2016, I told Mayor De Blasio that I was in NYC and noticed some hot radical centres. I was willing to point out serious cases. Ignored!”
“Not only am I a Muslim Imam who understands the threat of Islamic Extremism, I also hold a certificate in counter-terrorism. Now what!?” asked Tawhidi.
The imam then suggested that De Blasio was more interested in trying to sabotage the Trump presidency than fighting Islamic extremism.
“Fact: In the last two years, De Blasio spent all his energy and resources in trying to bring down President Trump and not Islamic Extremists,” said Tawhidi.

Ambassador Nikki Haley blasted the United Nations Wednesday in a defiant speech to the 193-member General Assembly before it adopted a resolution calling for an end to the U.S. economic embargo on Cuba.
Haley called the long-standing debate “political theater.”
“Let’s be honest about what we really see going on here,” Haley said. “This assembly does not have the power to end the U.S. embargo. It is based in U.S. law, which only the United States Congress can change.”
The United States voted Wednesday against the U.N. resolution condemning the American trade embargo against Cuba after abstaining last year, during the administration of Barack Obama, for the first time in 25 years.
by Jordan Candler: Late into the regular season, Oakland Athletics catcher Bruce Maxwell decided to join the “movement” spurred by former NFL quarterback and apparent protégé Colin Kaepernick by kneeling for the national anthem. As Maxwell explained when he began his stunt on Sept. 23, “My kneeling is what’s getting the attention, and I’m kneeling for the people who don’t have a voice. This goes beyond the black and Hispanic communities because right now we have a racial divide that’s being practiced from the highest power we have in this country saying it’s basically OK to treat people differently. I’m kneeling for a cause but I’m in no way disrespecting my country or my flag.” A Sports Illustrated article later stated that “Maxwell has been the target of racial slurs and threats of violence” in the aftermath of his kneeling. That may or may not be true, but Maxwell is certainly no stand-up guy and can even be accused of perpetrating the very things he supposedly despises. In Huntsville, Alabama — his hometown — someone is accusing Maxwell of “outright lying” over allegations of discrimination.
According to Fox News, “Maxwell, 26, claimed [last] week that a waiter … refused him service after identifying him as the MLB player who took the knee during ‘The Star Spangled Banner’ last month — only the waiter has a very different version of events and he told Fox News that was far from what went down.” In fact, the waiter says his refusal to serve alcohol to Maxwell’s friend due to an expired ID is what prompted the bogus story. And his manager is backing up the server’s version of events.
And there’s now yet another reason to question Maxwell’s allegations. In a terrible and telling display of his true character, Maxwell was arrested over the weekend for brandishing a weapon. According to another Fox News report, he “pointed a gun at a female food delivery person in Scottsdale, Ariz. Scottsdale police said officers went to Maxwell’s home Saturday night after getting a call about a person with a gun. Maxwell was booked on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and disorderly conduct.”
And this is why nobody takes athletes’ social activism seriously — because a disproportionate number of them are uncivil and need to practice what they preach. How many athletes, particularly in the NFL, can be accused of sexual abuse and violence? Too many. And too many also have absolutely zero tolerance for authority. For example, the Associated Press reports, “All but 10 members of the Houston Texans took a knee during the national anthem Sunday, as the vast majority of the team protested the owner’s ‘inmates running the prison’ comment.” Ironically, the one thing you won’t see is anthem kneelers protesting the actions that make some of them inmates. ~The Patriot Post

by Thomas Gallatin: Historic Christ Church in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia, suddenly found itself in the national news after its leaders’ recent decision to remove plaques honoring its most famous parishioners, George Washington and Robert E. Lee. “The plaques in our sanctuary make some in our presence feel unsafe or unwelcome,” the church’s leaders explained. “Some visitors and guests who worship with us choose not to return because they receive an unintended message from the prominent presence of the plaques.” Since it’s all the rage today to take down monuments honoring Confederate leaders, the church’s decision to remove Lee’s plaque, while regrettable, is at least somewhat understandable. But why also take down Washington’s plaque? Were Church leaders fearful that an unhealthy degree of idolizing of the plaque had taken hold of the congregation to venerate Washington over Christ? If fear for the health of members’ souls was the impetus, then by all means remove these stumbling stones. Of course, that was far from the reason. Instead, the decision was made out of deference to the vacillating opinions of mere mortals. Christ Church leadership was afraid of offending someone because of the historic fact that George Washington owned slaves — the unforgivable sin of today.
To be clear, Christ Church has every right to remove this plaque honoring its past members, even when one of those members just happens to be the first president of the United States. But Christ Church’s rationale for removing the plaques speaks more about a troubling spirit of our modern age, where those individuals of the past who accomplished great achievements are condemned for accepting that which was culturally common within their own day. Our inability as a modern culture to judge with a nuanced understanding those from the past says more about our own prejudice than it does our forefathers.
And of all places a Christian church is built upon the foundation of recognizing that people are sinners who are saved by faith in the only perfect sinless individual, the God-man Jesus Christ. The parable of the woman caught in adultery comes to mind. The leaders of Jesus’ day brought the guilty woman before him saying that according to the law she deserved to be stoned. Jesus didn’t deny her guilt but made a simple and yet profound statement: “Let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone at her.” Beware of overstating the sins of those in the past while ignoring the sins of the present.

That’s the message from a Democratic National Committee data services manager, currently on the hunt to filll multiple vacancies in the tech department.
The political organization, which routinely makes grand statements about inclusion, recently sent an email to its employees looking to recruit people for eight open spots including IT Systems Administrator, Product Manager and Chief Security Officer.
Though the Oct. 30 email says that the DNC is looking for a “staff of diverse voices and life experiences,” it apparently doesn’t mean white men.
DNC’s Data Service Manager Madeleine Leader purportedly wrote in an email that the desire for diversity excludes “cisgender straight white males.”
Leader adds, “I personally would prefer that you not forward to cisgender straight white males, as they are already in the majority.”
Cisgender is a term for people whose gender identity matches the sex that they were assigned to at birth.
“The email in question was not authorized by the DNC nor was it authorized by senior leadership," spokesman Michael Tyler told Fox News. "All hiring decisions at the DNC are made consistent with the DNC’s commitment to equal employment opportunity and hiring an inclusive and talented staff that reflects the coalition of the Democratic Party, because our diversity is our greatest strength.”

Tuesday on his nationally syndicated radio show, conservative talker Rush Limbaugh pointed out the mood of the Democratic Party, which he described as resentful and unhappy, and noted liberal comedians are “consumed by hatred.”
This combination of negative emotions according to Limbaugh has made the Democratic Party “the largest hate group” in the country.

“Let me tell you something, folks. There is an inescapable observation and conclusion, and it is this.
You have to look very hard — and you have to spend a long time looking — to find a genuinely happy or content left-wing political person. Whether they’re an activist or not.
If they’re engaged in any way, shape, manner, or form of politics, they’re not happy, no matter what. When they elected Obama, they got angrier. They got more enraged. After every success they have, nothing is ever enough. No amount much success ever makes them happy
Look at what they’ve done in the area of marriage. They’ve completely defeated it. There’s never any real laughter, happiness or contentment. It isn’t healthy just seeing a constant level of rage. They can’t be sustained. With this degree of rage and hatred we see in the American left today, a healthy mind and hearth can’t be sustained.
Mr. Rush has always been clever, and has been outsmarting liberals.
Their attitude is becoming a serious issue, violence becomes justified in their minds when they don’t win elections.
They don’t seem happy, and want to shove their disrespect down the throats of anyone who dares to disagree with them, even when they get their way
This attitude can’t go on. Eventually the result will be a torn up America.
