Democrat’s Pakistani IT Aides Indicted for Conspiracy Against U.S.
Bill Clinton and Pakistani-Muslim Imran Awan

A federal grand jury Thursday indicted two former information technology (IT) aides of Democratic Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz — Pakistani-born Imran Awan and his wife Hina Alvi — on four counts of conspiracy in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.
The FBI arrested Awan at Dulles International Airport July 24 as he was preparing to board a flight to Pakistan. When his wife Alvi left the U.S. for Pakistan in March, federal authorities found more than $12,000 in cash hidden in a suitcase. She had withdrawn the couple’s three children from local schools and does not intend to return to the U.S., according to the FBI.
“Defendants AWAN and ALVI did unlawfully, willfully, and knowingly conspire, combine, confederate, and agree with each other to commit offenses against the United States,” including bank fraud, false statements, and unlawful monetary transactions, the indictment said.
An arraignment date has not yet been set, and a spokesman for the U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia did not immediately respond to The Daily Caller News Foundation Investigative Group’s question about when Hina Alvi would become a fugitive if she does not return to the U.S. voluntarily, or whether officials would seek to extradite her from Pakistan.
In addition to lying on multiple mortgage disclosures, as an affidavit alleged at the time of Imran’s arrest, the indictment claims Hina lied by claiming medical hardship in order to withdraw hundreds of thousands of dollars from a retirement program.
The Awans, three of their relatives and a close friend are the targets of an FBI and U.S. Capitol Police criminal investigation into allegations they committed congressional cybersecurity violations and large-scale theft of congressional property in a scheme that may have begun more than a decade ago.
The crew worked as shared IT aides for dozens of House Democrats, including many who were members of the intelligence, foreign affairs and homeland security committees. Most of the Democrats fired them when the Capitol Police investigation became public in February, and their access to the congressional IT system was terminated.
However, Wasserman Schultz kept Alvi on her payroll until March and Awan until the day after his arrest. Authorities arrested Awan on the bank fraud charges in order to take his passport and prevent his leaving the U.S. as the investigation into their Capitol Hill activities continues.

We hadn’t traveled together outside the country—the country, in our case, being Norway—all summer, so a few weeks ago we decided to plan a brief, cheap trip to somewhere else in Europe. We put together a list of our favorite cities, plus a few we haven’t yet gotten to. We checked out airfares and hotel prices. And we consulted a color-coded map of Europe that I’d run across online. The darker the color of the country, the greater the likelihood, according to experts, that it will be a terrorist target in the near future. We love Berlin and Munich, but Angela Merkel’s madness has made those cities unappealing destinations, so we crossed them off immediately. So we decided on Barcelona. We’d been to Spain multiple times, but never its second most-populous city. It seemed a sensible choice: it didn’t come up often in discussions of possible terrorist targets….
A quick search just now led me to an article from last May noting that terrorism fears had diminished American tourism to Paris, London, and Berlin. Barcelona, however, perceived as safer, had “become one of Europe’s tourism hotspots,” with La Rambla “packed from morning well into the evening” during the summer months.
Forget the color-coded maps. It’s all a crapshoot, all guesswork. No place in Western Europe is truly safe from the warriors of Islam. Their goal is nothing less than the conquest of the continent. They’re at war with us, and the easiest victims for them to pick off are those of us who—on holiday in some unfamiliar city, map and camera in hand—are, for the moment anyway, the least aware that we, too, whether we like it or not, are at war with them.
Sharia Germany investigates Iranian-born politician for “Islamophobia”
Germany authorities do not admit of the possibility that Laleh Hadjimohamadvali might know what she is talking about. They appear to have fully accepted Sharia blasphemy norms, and consider criticism of Islam to be an offense punishable by law.

Prosecutors in the southwest German city of Saarbrücken are investigating an Iran-born AfD politician over accusations that she made Islamophobic statements.
A prosecutor’s office spokeswoman said on Wednesday that AfD politician Laleh Hadjimohamadvali – a candidate in the upcoming national elections – is suspected of defamation of religious groups, as well as incitement to hatred.
Hadjimohamadvali was born in Iran and has said that she fled to Germany to get away from Islam in the 1980s after the 1979 Iranian Revolution led to the establishment of an Islamic Republic.
According to the Saarbrücker Zeitung, Hadjimohamadvali said during a party gathering on June 24th that Islam was “worse than the plague” because she said Muslims become stronger in Germany every day and are taking over an ever greater portion of the country.
A former member of the AfD reported the statements to authorities after the Saarbrücker Zeitung reported what she said.
The newspaper further writes that Hadjimohamadvali claims she has been blocked from Facebook multiple times in the past because of her posts….
The leading state candidate for the AfD in the national election, Christian Wirth, has distanced himself from both women, saying that the generalization and denigration of an entire religion is “not permissible”.
“There are also many peaceful Muslims in our country,” Wirth told the Saarbrücker Zeitung….

If you had argued pre-Obergefell that de-sexing marriage would lead to drag queens leading preschool storytime in public libraries and public schools hounded into hiding their mandatory sex ed curriculum from parents after a settlement requiring trans-friendly “education” starting in kindergarten, you would have been called an unhinged bigot. How could what two consenting adults do privately have any effect on whether five-year-olds are told they should consider cutting off their penises? Preposterous. Fear-mongering. Wild-eyed insanity.

Rod Dreher’s “Law of Merited Impossibility” strikes again: “It will never happen, and when it does, you bigots will deserve it.” As I’ve written before, Obergefell and related caselaw, which are still developing, are turning out not to be about what consenting adults do privately. They are the spear tip of a wholesale shift in law that is already negatively affecting children, because at its heart is the principle that sexuality is genderless. . .
Of course this is bad for kids, but it’s not about kids. They’re just pawns, as usual. It’s about politics. Pushing transgenderism not only destabilizes a key component of a child’s identity but also contributes to early sexualization that is linked with mental illness and risky behaviors. Early exposure to and lack of clear parental direction about sex is also linked with increased gender confusion, which is precisely what we’re seeing as clinics for cutting and pasting children’s hormones and body parts explode inside a media environment that glamorizes this form of child abuse. . .
Saint Paul’s Nova Classical Academy is ranked by U.S. News and World Report as the top Minnesota high school. But it has been transformed into a rainbow Trojan horse after Dave and Hannah Edwards sued Nova for not including pro-transgender materials starting in kindergarten to accommodate their five-year-old son, whom they claim is transgender. Parents began transferring their kindergarteners out of the child’s class when they came home saying things like, “Mom, I think you can choose if you want to be a boy or a girl,” according to interviews with The Daily Signal.
The little boy began wearing a female uniform and accessories, and classes began to include pro-trans picture books endorsing gender fluidity. This month’s settlement after 16 months of litigation requires the school to make all uniforms available to both sexes, pay LGBT organizations to “train staff” in politically correct behavior every three years, and “not adopt any gender policy that allows parents to opt out of requirements in the gender inclusion policy because of objections based on religion or conscience.” This lawyer and Federalist contributor, after reviewing the settlement, said it appears to ban the school from even notifying parents of its sex policies. A day after Cloudflare removed service to the Daily Stormer, it has now terminated service to Cody Wilson’s website GhostGunner.net, Wilson announced on Twitter:

In the wake of Charlottesville, both GoDaddy and Google have refused to manage the domain registration for the Daily Stormer, a neo-Nazi website that, in the words of the Southern Poverty Law Center, is “dedicated to spreading anti-Semitism, neo-Nazism, and white nationalism.” Subsequently Cloudflare, whose service was used to protect the site from denial-of-service attacks, has also dropped them as a customer, with a telling quote from Cloudflare’s CEO: “Literally, I woke up in a bad mood and decided someone shouldn’t be allowed on the Internet. No one should have that power.”
We agree. Even for free speech advocates, this situation is deeply fraught with emotional, logistical, and legal twists and turns. All fair-minded people must stand against the hateful violence and aggression that seems to be growing across our country. But we must also recognize that on the Internet, any tactic used now to silence neo-Nazis will soon be used against others, including people whose opinions we agree with.

Never one to back down from a challenge, when PayPal and others dropped service to his Defense Distributed project, Wilson turned to bitcoin to fund his operation. Because of that, Wilson worked to develop an anonymous wallet for the cryptocurrency called Dark Wallet. Wilson is also in a legal battle against the State Department over whether CAD files for printable gun designs fall under gun manufacturing laws.

Just ask members of the so-called alt-right, the pro-Donald Trump white nationalist movement that received considerable attention during the 2016 presidential election. Enter Hatreon, a new crowdfunding service. Like Patreon, Hatreon allows users to donate money to their favorite internet personalities, while the website takes a small cut. But Hatreon doesn’t have any “hate speech” restrictions. Which is perhaps why it’s attracted controversial figures such as alt-right leader Richard Spencer and Andrew Anglin, founder of neo-Nazi news site The Daily Stormer.
In 2014, PayPal cut off Anglin from its service for promoting “hate, violence, racial intolerance or the financial exploitation of a crime,” according to an email from the company that Anglin published on his site. The Daily Stormer is looking for new funding because it is being sued by the Southern Poverty Law Center for organizing a harassment campaign against a Jewish woman in Montana. Google Insiders Warn ‘Outright Censorship’ of the Internet Is Google’s Top Priority… and Everyone Has Been Intimidated Into Silence
If the right to bear arms is the most important right outlined in the United States Constitution, then the freedom of speech is a close second. The Founding Fathers understood better than anyone that those who are in positions of power ought to be distrusted to a certain degree, and that tyranny will come to America unless those with authority are restrained. One way we restrain these authoritarian figures (namely the politicians in Washington DC) is by practicing our First Amendment rights to speak about, praise or criticize the direction in which the country is going. The freedom of speech allows us to hold politicians accountable, elect leaders that will govern in our best interests, and expel those who don’t. Without the ability to speak freely and openly, none of this is possible.
Currently, and sadly, the freedom of speech is under attack in America. The mainstream media, Hollywood and leftists on college campuses across the country have been the main culprits of the assault on free speech, however recently it has also been undermined on the Internet. More and more frequently, stories are emerging of conservative voices being suppressed or even silenced by various social media websites, search engines, and even Google.
Recently, a Google employee who goes by the alias “Hal” spoke to Breitbart News about the political bias that allegedly runs rampant throughout the company. Hal’s interview with Breitbart is the first in a series entitled “Rebels of Google,” which will be published in full within the next few days.
In the interview, Hal, who understandably chose to use a fake name out of fear of losing his job, spoke about the ongoing effort within Google to suppress certain content that the company doesn’t want the public to have easy access to.
“Many people now fear that Google, Facebook and other companies are moving to control and censor their content. Are these fears justified?” asked Breitbart reported Allum Bokhari. “That is absolutely what Google is trying to do,” Hal replied. “The pro-censorship voices are very loud, and they have the management’s ear. The anti-censorship people are afraid of retaliation, and people are afraid to openly support them because everyone in their management chain is constantly signaling their allegiance to far-left ideology. Our leadership (Sundar in particular) is weak, so he capitulates to the meanest bullies on the block.”
The news is particularly damning to conservatives, who in recent years have been working to establish a stronghold on the Internet considering the fact that all other outlets, from the mainstream media to Hollywood, are run by leftists. A prominent example of this is Mark Levin’s LevinTV, which is an Internet-based conservative program launched last year that puts out new episodes every weeknight. If Google is actively working to censor ideas and information that do not align with the progressive ideology, conservative voices on the Internet could be in serious trouble. Another area of the Internet where widespread censorship is occurring is on the Google-owned video sharing website, YouTube. Just days ago, YouTube revealed on their official blog that they would be taking action to censor what they consider to be “hate speech” and “violent extremism.” YouTube also plans on launching a “trusted flagger” program, which will help the video sharing website identify videos that contain hate speech and extremism. Unsurprisingly, one of the organizations tasked with identifying which videos are to be censored is the left wing No Hate Speech Movement, as well as the Anti-Defamation League.
With liberal censorship running rampant in the mainstream media, in Hollywood, on college campuses and across the Internet, our country needs pro-First Amendment voices now more than ever. Once the freedom of speech is gone, it is only a matter of time before an all-powerful authoritarian state is established and individual liberty in America ceases to exist. New Law Lets Police Confiscate Guns ‘Without Due Process’ If Someone Reports You
A new law in Oregon could lead to residents having all of their guns confiscated based on a single complaint, raising concerns about the possibility of corruption if false complaints are used to strip law-abiding citizens of their right to defend themselves.
Senate Bill 719, which is defined as one that “Creates process for obtaining extreme risk protection order prohibiting person from possessing deadly weapon when court finds that person presents risk in near future, including imminent risk, of suicide or causing injury to another person” was signed into law by Democratic Gov. Kate Brown on Wednesday.
The confiscation of an individual’s firearms can be pursued through the filing of an “Extreme Risk Protection Order,” which is submitted to a judge in civil court by a police officer or a concerned family or household member.
“Requires court to order respondent to surrender deadly weapons and concealed handgun license within 24 hours of service of initial order, and immediately upon service of continued or renewed order. Provides for law enforcement officer serving order to request immediate surrender of deadly weapons and concealed handgun license and authorizes law enforcement officer to take possession of surrendered items.”
During the legislative process, Brown expressed her support for the bill, calling it “a common-sense, life-saving bill that will help protect Oregon’s women and children by closing the ‘Boyfriend Loophole,’ preventing convicted stalkers from buying or possessing guns, and keeping guns out of the wrong hands.”
The bill passed in the Oregon State Senate by a vote of 17-11 in May, and in the House by a vote of 31-20 in July, before it reached Brown’s desk in August. Once it goes into effect, if an Extreme Risk Protection Order is granted by a judge, the resident in question could legally lose his or her right to possess or purchase firearms or ammo for one year.
While suspects have 30 days to request a hearing in an attempt to regain possession of their seized firearms once an order has been issued, and while individuals who file fake protection orders could face up to one year in prison, gun rights advocates still are not convinced that this new law will eradicate gun violence, even in domestic situations.
In a statement, the National Rifle Association’s Institute for Legislative Action argued that Extreme Risk Protection Orders “could be obtained by a law enforcement officer, family member, or household member in an ex parte hearing to deprive someone of their Second Amendment rights without due process of the law.”
By allowing a law enforcement officer, family member, or household member to seek the ERPO, SB 719A would allow people who are not mental health professionals, who may be mistaken, and who may only have minimal contact with the respondent to file a petition with the court and testify on the respondent’s state of mind. This ex parte order, which strips the accused of their Second Amendment rights, would be issued by a judge based on the brief statement of the petitioner. The accused would not be afforded the chance to appear in court to defend themselves against the allegations when the ERPO is issued. These orders may be issued without any allegations of criminal behavior.
The new law in Oregon was inspired by a law that went into effect in California in January 2016. Assembly Bill No. 1014 authorized “gun violence restraining orders” which allowed law enforcement to seize the firearms of an individual if a judge “finds that there is reasonable cause to believe that the subject of the petition poses an immediate and present danger of causing personal injury to himself, herself, or another by having in his or her custody or control, owning, purchasing, possessing, or receiving a firearm.”
While there are a number of problems with the new trend of gun confiscation laws, one of the most glaring issues is that a “protection order” can be filed by a police officer who has had minimal contact with the suspect in question, and if it is granted by the judge, the suspect will have his or her firearms confiscated immediately, and the only way to return them is to go through a lengthy court process—eliminating one of the most basic principles of due process. A Charlottesville police officer has come forward to express his outrage at being told to “stand down” by the city mayor during violent clashes between protesters.
The officer also claims the protests, which pitched “white supremacists” against members of Antifa, were “set up” to allow for the groups to ignite into exactly what happened.
“We [Charlotesville police] were ordered to bring the rival groups together. As soon as they were in contact with each other, we were told to stand down. It was outrageous. We weren’t allowed to arrest anyone without asking the mayor first. We weren’t even allowed to stop the driver as he sped away.“
“The event was being set up as far back as at least May and it went like clockwork.”
At no point is the car that plowed into the crowd of protesters perused by police – there is not a police car in sight leading into the area, or out.
Michael Signer, the mayor of Charlottesville, ordered police to stand down during the most chaotic and destructive period of the protests – despite police protests against the orders.
“We wanted to do our job and keep the peace. But these mother******s in charge really want to destroy America.”
Fox News reporter Doug McKelway was on the scene in Charlottesville and he backs up the police officer’s claims.
“I can say, having been in Emancipation Park from early on that morning, that what I saw with my own two eyes confirms what this law enforcement source told us. At least from all visible appearances. We saw people coming out of that park who had head-wounds, who were bleeding from the head, people walking into that park with bats, with sticks — you saw what they were wearing — helmets, body armor, they had come — and this pertains to both sides — they had come to do damage.. you cannot help but notice from that video that police had been more pro-active, they could have potentially calmed this thing down to some degree.”

Crowds of paid protesters and useful psychopaths are being sent into pitched battle against one another to sour the mood of the nation and further divide us all.
Fox News reports, that since the election, scores of activists have taken to the streets, town halls and rallies to blast President Trump. That’s all with the blessing of their boss thanks to social justice benefits and paid time off work policies that are growing in popularity.
At San Francisco marketing firm Traction, social justice benefits take the form of two so-called “Days of Action” a year.
“If someone wanted to participate in a pro-life rally,” says Kleinberg, “they are absolutely welcome to do that. This is not about the partners at Traction promoting our agenda, it’s about having a broader view of democracy, and encouraging people to be engaged.”
But in the famously left-leaning Bay Area, conservative activists don’t buy it.

Antifa Protester Says Violence Against the Far-Right Is Totally Fine
Yvette Felarca, the Berkeley area school teacher and militant left-wing protester responsible for organizing the riot at the University of California, Berkeley in February 2017, claims that violence against the far-right is “not a crime.”
Felarca, who belongs to “By Any Means Necessary,” a far-left group, is currently facing assault charges after she was caught on video assaulting a white supremacist during a July 2016 rally in Sacramento, Cali.
The school teacher and her compatriots engaged in violent clashes against members of the far-right Traditional Worker’s Party, which had a permit to march in the city. The violence between the two groups resulted in a number of assaults and multiple stabbings. In July 2017, police charged Felarca with “assault by means of force likely to inflict great bodily injury, participating in a riot, and inciting a riot.”

As more news of what happened in Charlottesville, Virginia, comes to light, information is also surfacing about the presence of “black bloc” anti-protesters who were geared up and ready for violence, says an article on Buzzfeed.
Black bloc protesters have been on the rise since President Trump took office. One of their first notable appearances this year was at the Berkeley riots, according to Rolling Stone. Occupy Oakland sent out a tweet following the violent protest saying, “We won this night. We will control the streets. We will liberate the land. We will fight fascists. We will dismantle the state. This is war.”
The black bloc protesters are an intimidating sight. Dressed entirely in black, with masks, wielding clubs, shields, and Molotov cocktails, their presence is becoming a sure sign that violence will soon occur. When they arrived at night to join the protests against controversial right-wing speaker Milo Yiannopoulos appearing at the University of California-Berkeley, the once-peaceful demonstration became chaos.
These radicals smashed windows, fought police, and set fire to the area. Their worst violence was leveled against Trump supporters. One woman was pepper sprayed in the face during an interview with a local news station and a particularly disturbing video showed a Trump supporter lying face down on the street being struck by a shovel.
One member of the black bloc at the Berkeley riots, Neil Lawrence, said this type of violence is becoming the only answer for leftist radicals upset with the shift to right-minded politics, according to Newsweek, “It became clear to me and my close friends that the tone of living in America is changing, and in order to stop being scared, we started organizing. I, a transgender Jew, don’t have a problem with violence against fascists.”
Most disturbing about all of this is that the rioting was a result of members of the Left refusing to acknowledge free speech because it doesn’t agree with their beliefs, as evidenced by the phone call Dan Mogulof, Assistant Vice Chancellor of the university, received before the protests.
He related, “I had a faculty member of the campus call me and say, ‘You must ban him.’ I said, ‘We’re not allowed to do that, he is protected by the First Amendment.’ They say, ‘No, he’s not.’ So I say, ‘Why do you believe that?’ and they said, ‘Because he’s wrong.’”
One of the professors at Berkeley, Jack Citrin, said the rioters were mistaken to claim themselves liberal while denying free speech. He said it raises a major issue. “I think the defense of free speech is a very real issue now,” Citrin said. “And that battle takes place in many forms and includes demands for so-called ‘safe spaces,’– which I view as absurd. There’s a whole range of issues that have arisen that has made the firm commitment to free speech in academia less secure.”
The destruction dealt by these domestic terrorists during the Berkeley riots amounted to over $500,000 in damages. Their successful tactics, and the fact that few of them were ever arrested, no doubt gives inspiration to similar protesting that will more than likely occur across the country.
The black bloc rioters no more represent liberals than white supremacists represent conservatives. And their actions should not define those who were protesting peacefully at both Berkeley and Charlottesville. But it is concerning that there exist individuals on both sides of the political spectrum who resort to violence to voice their opposition, but only one side is being condemned.
It seems the Left increasingly seeks to squelch the free speech rights of any who disagree with them. Do you fear you may lose your rights?
As reported by The Guardian, President Trump blamed the violence on “many sides,” and the rioting at Berkeley proves that there do exist radical terrorists on the Left. It needs to be acknowledged and dealt with, just as we hold neo-Nazis and other perceived right-sided radicals accountable for their crimes.
Violence, no matter whose opinion it’s fighting for, isn’t acceptable.

In the wake of the Charlottesville riot, several cities witnessed mobs of people tearing down Confederate memorial statues. Those who tore down these monuments justified their actions by claiming to be fighting against racism and white nationalism. In his press conference Tuesday, Donald Trump wondered where the call for monument removals would end: "Is George Washington next week? And Thomas Jefferson the week after?" The answer may be sooner than that.
On Wednesday, professional race-baiter Al Sharpton was asked by Charlie Rose, "Should they take down the Jefferson Memorial?" Sharpton responded, "When you look at the fact that public monuments are supported by public funds, you're asking me to subsidize the insult of my family. I would repeat that the public should not be paying to uphold somebody who has had that kind of background. You have private museums, you have other things that you may want to do there."
Let's be abundantly clear: Racism is wrong. Those who justify condemning, excluding and hating others based solely and primarily due to their race or ethnicity are wrong. Those who hold views that espouse one's race to be of greater significance than their common humanity with other races are wrong. This is why both white supremacists and Black Lives Matter activists are wrong. They have chosen to see and interpret everything through the lens of race rather than the reality of our shared common humanity. They have chosen to highlight both real and perceived grievances as justification for holding racist views, and they justify animosity toward anyone who rejects these race-based perspectives.
The Left for years has steadily fueled a grievance culture, especially among racial minority groups — all for political gain. But now this grievance culture is threatening to set the nation on fire, in some cases literally. Various ideas and symbols are and can be offensive, but when people are taught that to be offended is to be oppressed, people will rise up to fight. Now we have leftists calling for removal of symbols of America's history, all because they have chosen to identify these symbols with only negative and offensive ideas. The truth is that America's Founders were flawed men, as all individuals are, but they worked to produce the greatest, freest country on earth. And Americans today and people around the world have benefited immeasurably from their contributions. liar-nObama’s tweet was in response to the bedlam in Charlottesville, VA on August 12, when two hate groups that will share an eternity in Hell together, collided.
While liar-nObama’s tweet was nice, he is like most leftists who call out their enemy with ease, but conveniently turn a blind eye to the evil perpetrated on their own side, to serve their own purpose.
New York Times reporter, Sheryl Gay Stolberg, was on the ground in Charlottesville and live-tweeted: “The hard left seemed as hate-filled as alt-right. I saw club-wielding ‘antifa’ beating white nationalists being led out of the park.” Interestingly, the Southern Poverty Law Center reports the organizer of the white supremacist rally, Jason Kessler, is a former Barack liar-nObama supporter and Occupy movement activist.
We haven’t heard much about that have we?
If Democrats had even a semblance of honesty, rather than reassigning their guilt to Republicans, they would acknowledge Democrats birthed the Ku Klux Klan and created Jim Crow laws. They would also admit that pro-slavery Democrats launched the Civil War.
No wonder they support tearing down statues to erase history.
Instead, we’ve heard a deafening cacophony of cockeyed reporting by agenda driven journalists.
This is not OK.
What’s worse, those experiencing brain tingles over liar-nObama’s tweet self-righteously justify their side’s fascistic behavior in the name of anti-fascism. Rather than seeing what happened for what it really was, the blind now leads the blind.

Johnson was a rabid, anti-white bigot who shot 12 Dallas cops, assassinating five, during a Black Lives Matter event. It was reported Johnson told a hostage negotiator he wanted to kill white people, especially white officers. He also had social media associations with factions the Southern Poverty Law Center designated as hate groups.
Even so, the great-and-mighty blind guide himself, Barack liar-nObama responded to the massacre with a grandiloquent: “I think it’s very hard to untangle the motives of this shooter.”
Motives are always hard to untangle with selective vision. Truth is distorted if one chooses to view the world through the lens of color, gender and race like leftists do and liar-nObama did during the memorial service for the slain Dallas officers.
Rather than jumping on the perfect opportunity to sow unity, the former Divider-in-Chief coldheartedly lectured mourners about racial bias. Speaking about the Black Lives Matter movement, liar-nObama said Americans “cannot simply turn away and dismiss those in peaceful protest as troublemakers or paranoid. “We can’t simply dismiss it as a symptom of political correctness or reverse racism…centuries of racial discrimination, of slavery and subjugation and Jim Crow, they didn’t simply vanish with the end of lawful segregation,” he said.
In that moment, liar-nObama told us what he really thinks when he turned a blind eye to an obvious racism-inspired massacre while simultaneously offering a wink-and-a-nod at those weaponizing hate.
Even back in 2008 liar-nObama said, “Despite the temptation to view my candidacy through a purely racial lens, we won commanding victories in states with some of the whitest populations in the country. In South Carolina, where the Confederate Flag still flies, we built a powerful coalition of African-American and white Americans.”
Nevertheless, that liar-nObama’s Charlottesville tweet is one of the most “liked” in Twitter history speaks to the spiritual blindness and downright ignorance which has befallen this nation.

Don't Let the Media Tell You What to Think
At a press conference Tuesday, President Donald Trump responded to questions from reporters about the violent and deadly riot that transpired in Charlottesville, Virginia, over the weekend, and he again leveled blame on both white racists and the "alt-left." Naturally, "reporters" and politicians on both sides of the aisle raced to the microphones to offer their statements condemning Trump's words. This is becoming par for the course. The Leftmedia tells Americans how to think; no nuance or caveat allowed. You either express your absolute hatred of neo-Nazi white supremacists or you are one. And if you're a Republican, you are one either way, they say.
We in our humble shop have been more than willing to call out Trump for foolish things he has said, but we find ourselves more often than not having to push back against and correct the mainstream media narrative. These pontificators — even some conservatives — have become so biased and hostile against Trump that they're unable to accurately and objectively report on what he says. It appears now more so than ever that the MSM's primary objective is to instruct Americans on what to think and not to report the news and trust Americans to freely come to their own conclusions. For the MSM, propaganda has replaced reporting.
The MSM's practice has been to intentionally conflate conservatives with white supremacists, and more specifically to tacitly suggest that anyone who voted for Trump is a closet racist. Secondly, the MSM has inferred that Trump, by defending the right of white supremacist groups to express their speech via protests, must secretly be in agreement with their views, irrespective of his repeated rejection of those views.
Here are a few of Trump's statements from Tuesday's press conference; decide for yourself what he said:
"What about the alt-left that came charging in at the, as you say, the alt-right? Do they have any semblance of guilt? Let me ask you this: What about the fact that they came charging with clubs in the hands, swinging clubs? Do they have any problem? I think they do."
"You had a group on one side that was bad, and you had a group on the other side that was also very violent, and nobody wants to say that. But I'll say it right now."
"I've condemned neo-Nazis. I've condemned many different groups. But not all those people were neo-Nazis. Believe me. Not all of those people were white supremacists by any stretch."
"This week it's Robert E. Lee. I notice that Stonewall Jackson's [statue is] coming down. I wonder, is George Washington next week, and is it Thomas Jefferson the week after? You really do have to ask yourself, when does it stop?"
"I think there's blame on both sides. You look at both sides. I think there's blame on both sides, and I have no doubt about it, and you [reporters] don't have any doubt about it, either. And if you reported it accurately, you would say it."
"You had some very bad people in that group, but you also had people that were very fine people — on both sides. ... You had people in that group that were there to protest the taking down of, to them, a very, very important statue, and the renaming of a park from Robert E. Lee to another name."
That last statement — "fine people on both sides" — was problematic in that it was easy to take out of context. But what Trump meant is where he ended up — that decent people come down on both sides of the statue debate. It was not decent people dominating either protest. His muddling of the point doesn't invalidate it. In any case, watching the press conference or reading all of Trump's remarks leaves one with a very different perspective than reading the Leftmedia's cherry-picked quotes. And that's their intent.

{wnd.com} ~ The inexhaustible left is perpetually lying in wait to entrap President Donald Trump in some impeachable offense. Sadly, some vocal Trump critics on the right seem just as eager to purge America of Trump.
They hate him and hate that he won, and their impeachment lust will not be satiated until he’s gone.
The Trump haters on the right are one thing. But don’t be deceived into believing that the anti-Trump angst factories on the left are only about Trump. To be sure, these leftists hate Trump with a white-hot passion, but their primary goal is to thwart, suppress and ultimately silence political conservatism. It is to reinvigorate Barack liar-nObama’s failed progressive agenda by any means necessary.
If Trump weren’t president, the left’s monomaniacal zeal to obliterate all things conservative would be unabated. Though Trump often makes their job easier, they would savage any Republican president, including the venerable Vice President Mike Pence, should he later ascend to the office. They’d maul Pence for his unapologetically Christian and social conservative views and paint him as an unmitigated bigot.
No matter what you think of the Charlottesville tragedy, in a limited but significant sense, it has become leftists’ new Russia – for as long as they can get mileage out of it. It is liberals’ latest best chance to discredit Trump and his agenda and run him out of town on a humiliating impeachment rail – and into the hoosegow to boot, if possible.
How ironic that these rule of law-defying opportunists are champing at the bit to impeach Trump in the name of the rule of law. They couldn’t care less about whether he’s committed any impeachable offenses under the Constitution. For them, his impeachability inheres in his political views. It predates his inauguration – and persists. Right-wingers, whether conservative ideologues or not, are intrinsically bigoted. Trump’s alleged boorishness, his lack of filter and, most of all, his tweets are just icing on the cake. Leftists shouldn’t have to tolerate occupancy of the Oval Office by a man so repugnant to them. So, the will of the people and the electoral process be damned, Trump must go. They will not rest until something they throw against the wall sticks.
With Collusiongate having failed them so far, they believe they’ve finally hit pay dirt with Charlottesville. When you cut through all the clutter and noise, it seems that Trump’s main sin was saying that both sides were at fault and that there were good people on both sides of the protest.
If I thought that by this Trump meant that there are good people among neo-Nazis and white supremacists, I would join in the strong criticism. And I admit he could have been more artful. If you are predisposed to believe that Trump is a racist, you’ll probably find something in his statement to support your predisposition.
But I don’t believe for a second that Trump is a racist or that he approves of white supremacy, neo-Nazism, anti-Semitism or any other form of racism or bigotry. I think that what he meant was that there are good people among those defending the monuments. And it appears that most Americans agree with that, despite the media’s conscious effort to suggest otherwise. Recent polls show that some 62 percent of Americans support preserving the monuments as historic symbols, and 67 percent of Republicans approve of Trump’s statement on Charlottesville. Do any of you really want to claim that 62 percent of Americans or 67 percent of Republicans are bigots?
I don’t think I’m exaggerating when I say many leftists do indeed believe that. Indeed, isn’t that really at the heart of this flap? Aren’t Trump’s critics implying, in the end, that he’s a racist – or at the very least that his statement was a dog whistle to white supremacists because he believes they are an important part of his base? Are they implying that those who continue to support him are also stained by bigotry?
I don’t believe that more than the slightest fraction of a percentage of Trump supporters are neo-Nazis or white supremacists just because some of these Neanderthals choose to praise or champion Trump. I further reject that neo-Nazis, fascists and white supremacists are politically conservative, but the left’s historical revisionism enables it to smear the entire right wing with this bilious claim.
Some leftists have suggested that Trump was trying to create moral equivalence between the extremists on the left and the neo-Nazis, indignantly describing the leftist protesters as innocuous, noble opponents of slavery and bigotry who have no other agenda than to register their dissent against these white supremacists.
Please don’t accuse me of deflecting or defending the abhorrent white supremacists for this, but I am not going to sit idly by while this kind of wretched propaganda is disseminated. These misnamed leftist Antifa are anti-fascist in name only and are anything but innocent. They are community organizers, often bused in from afar and funded by leftist Alinskyites to create havoc, chaos and political, social and racial unrest throughout the nation. They are up to no good, and though I won’t fall into the trap of attempting to compare the relative evils of these various groups and thereby be painted as being soft on racism, I will not be intimidated into silence about them.
Wouldn’t it be glorious if the media devoted just one-third of the time they spend trashing Trump to covering his policy agenda – albeit as unfair as that reportage would be? America is still stinging from the liar-nObama years and before, and we all need to focus less on hate and angst and more on true reforms that could benefit the American people.
The violence and murder in Charlottesville are indefensible, abhorrent and gut-wrenching, and I pray that we can cut through shameless efforts at political exploitation and learn constructive lessons from this.

The American Left's Infatuation With Communism
By Arnold Ahlert: This year marks the 100th anniversary of the two revolutions that swept through Russia, ending the reign of the czarists and enabling the rise of radical Bolsheviks led by Vladimir Lenin. Since then communist ideology has precipitated the deaths of more than 100 million people — and counting.
The riot in Charlottesville last Saturday is a stark reminder of the American Left's dubious double standard with regard to virulent ideologies. While leftists are correctly contemptuous of the Nazism that forms the foundation of white supremacist hate groups, they retain a soft spot in their hearts for Communism. And yet both ideologies are flip sides of the same totalitarian coin.
For most leftists, and many other Americans, Hitler's Third Reich remains the ultimate expression of racist, murderous hate. Yet among the 20th century's worst mass murderers, Adolf Hitler comes in third — by a wide margin. By most historical estimates, Hitler murdered six million Jews and an additional five million others, bringing his total to 11 million.
Josef Stalin's total is conventionally put at 20 million killed, with some historians contending it may be twice that number.
Both men pale in comparison to Mao Zedung. Chairman Mao bears responsibility for 40 to 77 million killed, with the discrepancy owing to an ongoing historical argument over whether the mass starvation of millions in China's great famine (1958-1961) was intentional or not. Most historians lean toward the higher number.
Mao and Stalin were Communism's superstars, but there were other mass murderers like Pol Pot and the Khmer Rouge, who ruled Cambodia from 1975-1979 and killed up to two million people. Their ascendance was part of the Communist takeover of the Southeast Asian Peninsula following America's withdrawal from Vietnam, whose own fall to Communism was aided and abetted by a Democrat-controlled Congress that cut funding to South Vietnam's government from $700 million in 1974 to only $300 million the following year. This enabled Hanoi's Communist takeover and additional mass murders.
So why is Hitler, as opposed to Mao or Stalin, the embodiment of evil? Because the American Left has never completely rejected its belief in the philosophy of Communism and its radical egalitarian, collectivist worldview. Leftists only wish to paint the American Right as racist, and thus use Nazis as a bludgeon.
Moreover, a certain level of nostalgia remains the order of the day. In a series of articles called "Red Century," The New York Times explored an ideology it alternately acknowledged as horrific yet "morally complex."
Morally bankrupt is more like it, despite Times columnist and Democratic Socialists of America vice chairman Bhaskar Sunkara's pathetic attempt to separate the message from the messengers. "We may reject the version of Lenin and the Bolsheviks as crazed demons and choose to see them as well-intentioned people trying to build a better world out of a crisis, but we must work out how to avoid their failures," he insists.
Such contemptible nonsense courtesy of the Times is nothing new. Reporter Walter Duranty won a Pulitzer Prize for singing Stalin's praises during a Ukrainian famine that killed 10 million in 1932. Yet as Sunkara indicates, Duranty's apologist take — "you can't make an omelet without breaking a few eggs" — remains ideologically operational.
It also remains literally operational in Venezuela, whose implosion reveals the rank ignorance of leftist useful idiots like Jesse Jackson, Sean Penn, Michael Moore, Danny Glover, Oliver Stone and others who hailed the "21st century Socialism" that is devolving into totalitarian tyranny. The same totalitarian tyranny entrenched in North Korea.
To communist sympathizers and adherents, none of it matters. Nor does it matter that Communism's founders, Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels, were avowed racists and anti-Semites. Both expressed contempt for Mexicans, politicians with "n—ger-like" features, a quality Engels referred to as a "degree nearer to the rest of the animal kingdom than the rest of us," and the "huckstering" Marx referred to as the "worldly religion of the Jew."
"The progressive blind spot to communism reflects historical ignorance on the part of Americans and Europeans," columnist Michael Rubin asserts.
In America, it is cultivated ignorance. Thus 40% of Millennials believe it's acceptable to suppress offensive speech about minorities, while minorities and their equally clueless allies countenance elimination of history itself, emulating the Islamic State, as well as the Nazis who destroyed any piece of art Hitler found offensive.
And on America's college campuses, where leftists routinely shut down speech they define as "hate" — employing violence if necessary to do so — they are emulating Communist China's Red Guard movement that precipitated attacks on those whose traditional views were insufficiently "revolutionary."
The Left's cultivation of communist ideas has occurred for decades. In 1993, Library of Congress experts traveled to Moscow to copy previously secret records of Communist Party USA activities that had been sent to the Soviet Union for safekeeping. They reveal irrefutable evidence of cooperation between the Soviets and American leftists from the '20s through the '40s. Coded Soviet intercepts known as the Venona Papers confirmed that infiltration, vindicating much of what Sen. Joseph McCarthy asserted during the '50s, despite his continuing status as the Left's most enduring icon of evil.
In the '60s, the college students who recoiled in the presence of a swastika did so while wearing Che Guevara T-shirts and singing the praises of Communist Party U.S.A. radicals like Angela Davis. It was also a time when future failed Democrat presidential candidate liar-Hillary Clinton was learning and teaching the revolutionary tactics of communist sympathizer Saul Alinsky — tactics Barack liar-nObama perfected in winning the presidency.
In the '70s and '80s, Democrats pursued their admiration of the Soviet Union with vigor, making peace trips to the USSR, often as members of communist-created front groups. And when Ronald Reagan called the Soviets the "evil empire" they actually were, Democrats painted him as a warmonger who would lead the nation to nuclear holocaust. Moreover, the party that currently excoriates Donald Trump for his Russian connections apparently had no problem when Ted Kennedy offered to help the Soviets thwart Reagan's re-election.
Most recently, the liar-nObama administration had at least two communist sympathizers working for it: former White House Communication Director Anita Dunn, who professed admiration for Mao Zedung, and former CIA Director John Brennan, who voted for Communist Party candidate Gus Hall in 1980. As for liar-nObama himself, a video from 1995 shows him stating he was taught about race relations by Communist Party member Frank Marshall Davis.
"Until the left, and all the institutions influenced by the left, acknowledge how evil communism has been, we will continue to live in a morally confused world," argues Dennis Prager.
Of course, as Prager knows full well, the American Left embraces Communism. Moreover, moral confusion is a necessary component of leftist power. When right and wrong are relative, "by any means necessary" becomes a "reasonable" substitute. Exhibit A is a despicable Washington Post op-ed by Johns Hopkins University associate professor N.D.B. Connolly, who insists leftist "generic solutions" to racism, etc. aren't working. What to do instead? "Start throwing rocks," he advises.
Thus, 100 years and 100 million deaths later, the American Left's infatuation with Communism remains undimmed. And as decent Americans recoil in disgust, the historical purges remain ongoing, begging the inevitable question:

After what happened in Charlottesville, the topic is especially timely, which is why Fox and Friends host Brian Kilmeade immediately asked her an important question: “I want to talk about where your book starts, and that’s our Constitution. As an African-American woman, do you see yourself in this Constitution? {townhall.com} ~ Last weekend, serious violence broke out in Charlottesville, Virginia, when a group of white supremacist demonstrators was confronted by a group of folks who were there to condemn the message the demonstrators had come to advance. The message was critical of the government for removing a statue of Gen. Robert E. Lee from a public place.
For some, Lee is associated with the military defense of slavery. For others, he is associated with the military defense of the right of states to leave the union -- a union they voluntarily joined. For the organizers of the Charlottesville rally, the removal of the statue provided a platform to articulate crudely their view that the Caucasian race is somehow morally superior to every other.
Such a political and philosophical position is hardly rational to anyone who respects the dignity of all people and their moral equality before God and legal equality in America. Believing that one race is morally superior to others is largely a hate-filled theory, supportable only by bias, prejudice, fear and resentment -- and perhaps a wish to turn back the clock to a time when the Supreme Court declared that nonwhites were not full people under the Constitution, a declaration eradicated by war and history and constitutional amendments.
These hateful, hurtful ideas -- articulated publicly through Nazi salutes and flags and incendiary rhetoric last weekend -- aroused animosity on the part of those who came to Charlottesville to resist and challenge and condemn these views. After the police left the scene and rejected their duty to protect the speakers and those in the audience, a crazy person drove his car into the midst of the melee that ensued, and an innocent young woman was killed when she was hit by the car.
Is hate speech protected under the Constitution? In a word, yes.
The First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, which protects "the freedom of speech" from infringement by the government, has a long and storied history. The drafters of the amendment referred to it as "the" freedom of speech in order to underscore its pre-political existence. Stated differently, the freedom of speech is a natural right, one that derives from our humanity, and hence it pre-existed the government that was prohibited from infringing upon it. The government doesn't grant free speech, but it is supposed to protect it.
In the early years of the republic, Congress punished speech that was critical of the government, through the Alien and Sedition Acts. The same generation that had just written that Congress shall make no law abridging the freedom of speech abridged it. During the Civil War, Abraham Lincoln, relying on no law, punished speech in the North that was critical of his wartime presidency. During both world wars, Woodrow Wilson and Franklin D. Roosevelt used the Espionage Act of 1917 to punish speech that was hateful of the government, because, they argued, it might tend to undermine the nation's war efforts. Lincoln's infringements were rejected by the Supreme Court. Wilson's and FDR's were upheld.
It was not until 1969 that a unanimous Supreme Court gave us the modern articulation of the nature and extent of free speech. Clarence Brandenburg, a Ku Klux Klan leader in Ohio, verbally attacked Jews and blacks in the government in Washington, D.C., at a public rally. He urged his followers to travel to Washington and produce violence against them. He was prosecuted and convicted under an Ohio law that largely prohibited the public expression of hatred as a means to overthrow the government.
Brandenburg's conviction was reversed by the Supreme Court, which ruled essentially that the whole purpose of the First Amendment is to protect the speech we hate and fear. The speech we love and embrace needs no protection. Moreover, the right to decide what speech to listen to is enjoyed by individuals, not by groups collectively and not by the government.
All innocuous speech, the court ruled, is absolutely protected, and all speech is innocuous when there is time for more speech to challenge it. This rule -- known as the Brandenburg doctrine -- has consistently been upheld by the court since its articulation.
Now, back to Charlottesville. The government cannot take sides in public disputes, because by doing so, it becomes a censor and thus infringes upon the free speech rights of those against whom it has taken a position. On the contrary -- and this was not done in Charlottesville -- the government has the duty to protect the speaker's right to say whatever he wishes and the audience's right to hear and respond to the speaker.
When the police decline to maintain order -- as was their decision in Charlottesville -- they permit the "heckler's veto," whereby the audience silences the speech it hates. And when the heckler's veto comes about through government failure as it did in Charlottesville, it is unconstitutional. It is the functional equivalent of the government's taking sides and censoring the speech it hates or fears.
The whole purpose of the First Amendment is to encourage open, wide, robust debate about the policies of the government and the people who run it. It would be antithetical to that purpose for the government itself to decide what speech is acceptable and what is not in public discourse.
What about hate speech? The remedy for it is not to silence or censor it, because we need to know from whence it comes. The remedy is more speech -- speech to challenge the hatred, speech to educate the haters, speech to expose their moral vacuity. More speech will create an atmosphere antithetical to hatred, and it will reinforce the right of every individual to pursue happiness, which is the American promise.
But that promise is only as valuable as the fidelity to it of those in government, whom we have hired to protect it. In Charlottesville, they failed.
