If Canada is going to prosecute every anti-Semitic imam, Canadian authorities are going to have to make many more arrests, for the anti-Semitism that Maulana Syed Mohammad Zaki Baqri and others like him express is rooted in the Qur’an. Canada and all other Western countries are in the anomalous position of inviting Muslims into the country and celebrating the practice of Islam, while treating some expressions of mainstream Qur’anic Islam as criminal activity. This is going to come to a head sooner or later, and either non-Muslim authorities will make clear that the aspects of Islam that contradict Western values are not welcome and will not be permitted, or they will surrender altogether.

The Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Centre (FSWC) has filed a hate-speech complaint with Toronto police about yet another imam who recently allegedly called for the elimination of Israelis and Jews at an annual protest known to promote anti-Semitism.

Maulana Syed Mohammad Zaki Baqri of the Pickering-based Council of Islamic Guidance and the corresponding Al Mahdi Centre allegedly told the June 24 Al Quds Day rally in a combination of English and Arabic that Jews and Israelis need to be eliminated for what they’ve apparently done to the people of Gaza.

“The systematic elimination of Jews … Israelis, Zionists should know … It is the law that whoever oppresses, he has to be eliminated. One day or another,” the imam is heard saying to the crowd, several of whom are waving anti-Israel placards.

FSWC CEO Avi Benlolo said the complaint was filed two weeks ago with Toronto police hate crimes unit after their staff videotaped the proceedings of the event, which occurred at the Toronto-owned park north of Wellesley St. and Queen’s Park proper. He said some 2,000 people attended, including students and youngsters….

Berkeley, California radio station KPFA cancels Richard Dawkins event because he criticized Islam

Richard Dawkins criticizes all religions, and the concept of religion itself. But criticizing Islam is forbidden on the Left, and so KPFA canceled his appearance: “we didn’t know he had offended and hurt – in his tweets and other comments on Islam, so many people.”

The station insists that “while KPFA emphatically supports serious free speech, we do not support abusive speech.” But who is to decide what is legitimate criticism of Islam and what is “abusive speech”? The purveyors of the “Islamophobia” fiction have never clarified that or pointed to any critic of Islam whom they don’t consider “abusive.” They haven’t because they can’t. There is no criticism of Islam that they find acceptable. Dawkins can criticize Christianity and KPFA will cheer, but when he turns to Islam, he immediately becomes “abusive.” The objective of labeling such criticism abusive is to silence it. Every critic of Islam, even those on the Left such as Dawkins, Sam Harris, and Bill Maher, is accused of “bigotry” and “abusive speech” for daring to utter even the slightest negative opinion of the Religion of Peace. The objective is to intimidate people into fearing to utter any criticism of Islam, which will allow the jihad to advance unopposed and unimpeded.

And so the West’s quiet acceptance of Sharia blasphemy laws continues.

But why? You can guess. The talk was to be sponsored by a Berkeley radio station, KPFA, and they made this announcement—but didn’t even inform Richard before deep-sixing the event. Through the ticketing agency, Brown Paper Tickets, KPFA sent out this email with the “reasons”:

There you have it, ladies and gentlemen: the termites have spread to Berkeley, and have dined well on the wooden heads of the Deciders. Although there are undoubtedly a few authoritarian Dawkins-bashing atheists who will be pleased at this, it’s a terrible blow for free speech, and likely a big disappointment for those who hoped to see Richard. I’m sure that some of the Perpetually Offended, with perhaps Muslims among them, complained to the radio station, and KPFA caved….

Political correctness put her in the way of a “nervous, jumpy” Muslim cop who took her life. My latest in FrontPage:

A forty-year-old Australian woman named Justine Damond called 911 in Minneapolis Saturday night to report what she thought might be a rape; when police arrived, she approached the police car, and a Minneapolis police officer named Mohamed Noor shot her dead. Since then, Noor has refused to be interviewed by investigators, but has spoken to friends about what happened and why. The more Noor and those who know him have spoken, the more it becomes clear: Justine Damond was a casualty of “Islamophobia.”

Mohamed Noor is a Somali Muslim. He was the first Somali Muslim on the Minneapolis police force. In 2016, Minneapolis Mayor Betsy Hodges expressed her excitement about that fact: “I want to take a moment to recognize Officer Mohamed Noor, the newest Somali officer in the Minneapolis Police Department. Officer Noor has been assigned to the 5th Precinct, where his arrival has been highly celebrated, particularly by the Somali community in and around Karmel Mall.”

Hodges wasn’t excited because Mohamed Noor had the skills necessary to become a fine police officer. She was only excited because he represented a religious and ethnic that she was anxious to court. And it is increasingly clear, as we learn about Mohamed Noor’s nervousness and jumpiness and lack of respect for women, and from his own account of events that he relayed to friends (that he was “startled” and reacted by opening fire), that Mohamed Noor was not cut out to be a policeman. He did not have the temperament for it, and if he hadn’t killed Justine Damond, he would likely have done something similar at some point.

So why was he on the force at all? Because he was the first Somali Muslim on the Minneapolis police force. He was a symbol of our glorious multicultural mosaic. He was a rebuke to “Islamophobes” and proof that what they say is false. Minneapolis authorities placed a great deal of faith in Mohamed Noor. He was for them the triumph of diversity, the victory of their worldview. But he has let them down.

Mohamed Noor is not a jihad terrorist. This was not a jihad attack. He is just a trigger-happy, panicky, reckless individual who held his job not because he was fit for it, but because of what he symbolized. And in the wake of his failure, Minneapolis multiculturalists aren’t about to reconsider their religion. On the contrary, they are doubling down. Minneapolis Mayor Betsy Hodges has immediately recognized — as authorities do everywhere after jihad attacks — that the real victims are not those who were killed or wounded, but the Muslim community. She should have issued a statement saying that she recognized that Mohamed Noor was not hired because he was competent, but because he was a Somali Muslim, and that she sees now that Leftist social engineering on the police force costs lives. She should have promised that from now on, police officers will be hired based on their fitness for the job, not their religion or ethnicity.

Mayor Hodges is reassuring Muslims and warning against “Islamophobia,” as if a non-Muslim police officer had shot an unarmed Muslim woman. But that’s not what happened. And in issuing this warning, Hodges is only reinforcing the false premises that led to the killing of Justine Damond in the first place: the idea that Muslims are a victimized, persecuted community that needs special consideration, such that an incompetent Muslim police officer had to be hired. This just ensures that in the future, there will be more Justine Damonds.

The Obama Administration struggled to say the phrase “radical Islam,” but new reports reveal an alarming number of Islamofascist training camps right here in the United States.

The Clarion Project revealed a 22-site network of terrorist training villages on U.S. soil. But this network and these compounds are not new. They have been around for years and have grown more potent with each day that passes. Now Trump is trying to do something about them, Truth Uncensored reported.

Police were finally able to obtain a warrant allowing them to search a mysterious Muslim compound hidden within the Catskill Mountains in New York State, Tea Party reports.

President Trump sent federal agents in to search a Muslim compound known as “Islamberg” after a resident of the radical community was arrested stealing ammunition. The raid uncovered weapons, armor, and explosives.

For over two decades police have been monitoring the “Islamberg” compound in New York State. Over a hundred Muslims live in the 70-acre compound protected from prying eyes.

Multiple complaints were placed over the years as Americans living near the compound frequently heard gunfire and explosions. The police could not prove that a crime had been committed.

Law enforcement had been blocked from searching the compound for over two decades as they could not justify a warrant – until Ramadan Abdullah slipped up.

Ramadan Abdullah was arrested in Johnson City, New York, after he attempted to steal boxes of ammunition from a local Gander Mountain store. Police could then obtain a warrant allowing them to search Abdullah’s home in the compound.

Police were stunned to discover a massive cache of illegal weapons. Eight assault rifles, four handguns, a shotgun, two hunting rifles, and thousands of rounds of ammunition were uncovered.

Abdullah first came to the attention of police in the 1970s, but he has managed to stay off their radar until now. In 1977 he was arrested with the materials needed to produce at least 50 bombs.

Abdullah’s arrest appears to validate the fears of many New Yorkers and Americans. For at least 20 years there has been a secret Muslim terrorist training compound. Dozens of other compounds could be scattered across the nation preparing for an impending clash.

“There are no indications there was a plan in place to commit an act of violence. However, it begs the question, what was he doing with all this and what were his intentions down the road?” said New York State Police Major Barnes. “Who knows what kind of large scale tragedy that this investigation may have prevented later down the road.”

Ramadan Abdullah was in close contact with the terrorist-linked Muslims of America.

IDAHO STATE UNIVERSITY: Saudi Muslim student arrested after kidnapping a motorist at knifepoint

Police said 23-year-old Saud Khalid Almudaiheem (below), a student from Saudi Arabia who is living in Pocatello, was charged with two counts of felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and one felony charge of second-degree kidnapping.

East Idaho News (h/t Ben M)  Around 2 a.m. Sunday, police said they received a call from a motorist claiming that Almudaiheem brandished a black box-cutter style knife and demanded a ride from the Jacksons Food Stores on South Fifth Avenue to an area near the Ridgecrest Apartments on Bartz Way.

After dropping Almudaiheem off, police said the victim called police to report the incident.

Later, at a Chevron gas station, Almudaiheem used the same black box-cutter style knife to threaten other motorists for a ride. Upon arrival, police determined Almudaiheem was allegedly involved in the original complaint and arrested him at the gas station.

If convicted of the aggravated assault charges, Almudaiheem will face up to 10 years in prison and a fine of up to $10,000. The second-degree kidnapping charge carries a maximum sentence of 25 years in prison. Almudaiheem is currently incarcerated at the Bannock County Jail and bond in the case was set at $50,000.

Born and raised in Dearborn, Michigan, Northville resident Fayrouz Saad is the product of hard working parents who immigrated from Lebanon more than 40 years ago.

“It really starts with my parents,” Saad said. “Moving to Michigan for the American Dream. They started a small business in Detroit’s Eastern Market. A very typical story. And I learned a lot from what they were able to accomplish. Really saw how hard work can make a difference for families.”

On Thursday, Saad, the director of Detroit’s Office of Immigrant Affairs, announced that she is running for Congress in Michigan’s 11th Congressional District in 2018. Saad said she feels that the American Dream her parents had access to is at stake; she wants to ensure that citizens have a way to thrive and not solely get by.

[It’s at stake due to rampant illegal immigration and mass importation of Muslims.]

Saad, 34, earned undergraduate degrees in political science and psychology from the University of Michigan in 2004 and a master’s degree in public administration from Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government in 2015.

“After college, I started off as part of the Kerry presidential campaign,” Saad said. “And that was a really great experience because I got to understand the district better.”

Saad’s work as a field organizer in the 11th District for Democrat John Kerry’s 2004 campaign for president gave her an initial taste for public service; she went on to work for the late Democratic State Rep. Gino Polidori in 2005. He passed away in 2014.

Saad added that she feels strongly about the fight to protect and expand Medicaid by ensuring Americans have reliable healthcare and that citizens shouldn’t be worried they might be among the millions left without care.

She has watched the change in the nation since President Trump’s administration took office and she has deeply felt how his immigration ban has affected many people.

“I believe we need immigration reform,” Saad said. “I believe that part of that should be a pathway to citizenship. The way to do it is not the way the Trump administration is doing it. Its not by leaving people guessing what is going to happen next. Not by living in fear or tearing families apart; we aren’t going to play into a narrative that divides.”

In 2009, Saad accepted an appointment by President Obama to the Department of Homeland Security’s Office of Intergovernmental Affairs. There, she worked on relationships with the immigrant population and the government by being a liaison between them and elected officials; she also worked on issues regarding cybersecurity, national security and law enforcement.

“It was a great experience,” she said. “I had spent my entire career in Michigan. It allowed me the opportunity to understand how federal government works on the inside.

Saad’s most recent work in public service began in 2015 when Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan appointed her as the city’s first director of immigrant affairs. She recently ended her appointment to prepare for her run for congress.

The President shone a bright light on one of those families: Detroit’s own Aref and Aida Saad, immigrants who left their home behind in Lebanon in 1973 and settled in Detroit, and the parents of Fayrouz Saad, the first Director of the City of Detroit Mayor’s Office of Immigrant Affairs (MOIA). President Obama highlighted the Saad’s economic contributions to metro Detroit through Aref’s entrepreneurship and now thriving business in Detroit’s Eastern Market providing halal meats to Muslim community.

Saad is challenging Trott, who partnered with a Democrat to Toughen fed penalty on female genital mutilation:

U.S. Rep. Dave Trott is proposing to make female genital mutilation a 15-year crime nationwide, matching a tough new Michigan penalty signed into law earlier this month.

The Stopping Abusive Female Exploitation (SAFE) Act would increase the current federal punishment of up to five years in prison for mutilating the genitals of anyone under the age of 18.

The Birmingham Republican is introducing the bipartisan legislation Thursday with Rep. Carolyn Maloney, D-New York.

Where will Saad fall on that issue? Will any reporter ask?

Muslim female genital mutilation case spreads to LA, Chicago and New York

Detroit — The grand jury investigation into female genital mutilation has spread to at least three more states as federal agents have identified new targets in the case, according to federal court records.

The targets live in Los Angeles, Chicago and New York, according to federal court records and interviews with people close to an investigation that, until now, was focused on conduct involving girls from Michigan and Minnesota.

The developments are the latest in a case alleging six people participated in a conspiracy to cut prepubescent girls as part of a religious procedure practiced by a small sect of Shia Muslims from India, the Dawoodi Bohra. A central figure in the case is Dr. Jumana Nagarwala of Northville, who is accused of mutilating girls’ genitalia at the Burhani Medical Clinic in Livonia.

Federal officials have identified new targets in Los Angeles, Chicago and Minnesota, Nagarwala’s lawyer Shannon Smith wrote in a court filing Tuesday. She believes more people will be charged in federal court.

The Detroit News has learned federal agents are investigating at least one other person in New York. One criminal defense lawyer based in New York City declined to comment about the investigation during an interview Monday.

The most recent indictment in the case alleges six girls were mutilated – including four from Michigan.

“There is also absolutely no evidence to support the government’s statement that Dr. Nagarwala cut the genitals of dozens of victims,” Smith wrote. “When the government makes claims like it ‘estimates’ that Dr. Nagarwala performed (female genital mutilation) on at least 100 minor girls, the government is unable to support the assertion and certainly has provided no discovery to support the claim.”

Some members of the Dawoodi Bohra community who have spoken against the procedure said genital mutilation is performed to suppress female sexuality, reduce sexual pleasure and curb promiscuity, according to court records. Female genital mutilation has been a federal crime in the U.S. since 1996.

A Northville doctor charged with mutilating the genitalia of 7-year-old girls will stay behind bars pending trial to prevent her from fleeing the country, a federal judge ruled Wednesday.

Dr. Jumana Nagarwala of Northville is a flight risk because she is facing charges that could send her to federal prison for the rest of her life and because she has ties overseas, U.S. District Judge Bernard Friedman said.

Nagarwala, a U.S. citizen and mother of four children with family in India and Africa, is scheduled to stand trial Oct. 10 with five others in the nation’s first federal case involving female genital mutilation.

Wherever there are Muslim girls in the U.S., there are very likely FGM victims.

Creeping Sharia has posted on the Capitol Hill mini-mosque several times. And as noted previously:

“We started praying together in each others’ offices,” [Suhail] Khan says. “Then we started praying once a month in the Veterans’ Affairs Committee room.”

As the service grew, then-Speaker Newt Gingrich (R-Ga.) gave them permission to use the basement room on Fridays.

Robert Spencer in PJ Media: Willful Ignorance: House Rejects Rep. Franks’ Proposal to Study Islam

This is how you lose to Islamic terror. My latest in PJ Media:

By nine votes, 217 to 208, the House of Representatives on Friday voted down a proposal to identify “Islamic religious doctrines, concepts or schools of thought” that jihad terrorists use.

Twenty Republicans joined the solid Democratic bloc to vote down this measure, which Muslim Representative Keith Ellison (D-MN) termed “wrongheaded” and fought hard to defeat. It’s hard to believe that there would be 217 votes against understanding the ideology that motivates and incites jihad violence, but that testifies to the power of the “Islamophobia” victimhood lobby today.

The measure would have directed the Defense Department to carry out:

… strategic assessments of the use of violent or unorthodox Islamic religious doctrine to support extremist or terrorist messaging and justification.

There is nothing “unorthodox” about jihad violence in Islamic law and doctrine. Yet even though this specification that the Islamic doctrines to be studied were “unorthodox” allowed for support from those who hold that jihad terror is a twisting and hijacking of the religion of peace, that wasn’t good enough. According to Politico:

[The proposal received] heavy criticism from Muslim lawmakers serving in Congress, Muslim interest groups and the American Civil Liberties Union, who say the proposal would unfairly target Muslims.

Ellison added:

If you have an amendment that says we’re going to study one religion and only one, we’re going to look at their leaders and put them on a list — only them — and you are going to talk about what’s orthodox practice and what’s unorthodox, then you are putting extra scrutiny on that religion.

Yes, you are.

And there is a reason for that: 30,000 jihad attacks committed in the name of Islam and in accord with its teachings since September 11, 2001.

No one religion has anything approaching that kind of record of death and destruction. So why shouldn’t we put extra scrutiny on that religion?

The Muslim Brotherhood-linked Ellison also claimed that the measure was “abridging the free exercise of that religion.”

Yes, again — insofar as the free exercise of that religion involves bombs, AK-47s, machetes, and the like. The free exercise of any religion is not a license to break existing laws. The free exercise of religion is not a free pass to commit treason or subversion or sedition. The Constitutional guarantee of the free exercise of a religion does not allow the adherents of that religion to commit violence in its name and in accord with its teachings. When they crafted the First Amendment, the Founding Fathers did not envision a religion that mandated warfare against and the subjugation of unbelievers; nor did they intend to lace the Constitution or Bill of Rights with time bombs that would ultimately destroy the republic they were trying to create.

Nor does studying the motivating ideology of jihad terrorists restrict the practice of Islam by peaceful Muslims in any way.

If these peaceful Muslims are as appalled by jihad terrorism as Islamic groups in the U.S. profess to be, why wouldn’t they welcome an attempt to address this alleged misuse of their religion, and support this proposal? The sponsor of the measure, Rep. Trent Franks (R-AZ), noted correctly:

Right now, there is a certain spectrum within the Islamist world that is at the root of the ideological impulse for terrorism. … Ironically, Muslims are the prime targets of these groups. To suggest that this is anti-Muslim is a fallacy, and I think that anyone who really understands it knows that. … We’ve worked very hard to protect the religious freedom for everybody. But it is important that we empower America to identify those heroic Muslims within the world that will help us begin to delegitimize this ideology of global jihad.

His appeal was to no avail. Ellison would not number himself among the “heroic Muslims” who would “help us begin to delegitimize this ideology of global jihad.” He said of Franks and his measure:

This is the wrong way to do what he’s trying to do….

Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu didn’t mince words in a recent discussion with France’s Emmanuel Macron, telling the president in a recent meeting that political Islam is on all courts press to wipe out the West.

In fact, Bibi said, that’s the whole reason for political Islam’s being.

He said, in a widely reported statement: “Political Islam seeks to desetroy both Israel and European countries. We have heard extremist voices that not only call for the destruction of the Jewish state, but the Jews themselves and everyone who objects to and opposes their way.”

Netanyahu also warned: France will not be exempt from this Islamic desire for destruction.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and French President Emmanuel Macron discussed the dangers of political Islam while commemorating the 75th anniversary of the expulsion of French Jews during World War II in Paris Sunday.

Netanyahu addressed Israeli-Palestinian relations, saying that political Islam is an obstacle to peace in that region and is spreading to Europe. …

“The radical Islam that Iran and ISIS represent seeks to destroy us and destroy Europe. Israel is their first goal. They do not hate the West because of Israel, but they hate Israel because of the West. They are trying to destroy us and you, and since France is a great power they will not ignore it,” warned Netanyahu.

Macron commented on anti-Semitism stating that “anti-Zionism” is the new form of anti-Semitism in Europe. He also stressed that France must acknowledge their responsibility in the Holocaust. His statement sharply contrasts that of his former presidential opponent Marine Le Pen, leader of the National Front party who stated that France did not bear accountability in the Holocaust.

“I think that in general, more generally, if there were those responsible, it was those who were in power at the time. This is not France,” she said. She claimed she wanted the French to be “proud to be French again” over remembering past injustices.

The French parliament voted on July 6 to extend the country’s “state of emergency” until Nov. 1, 2017, allowing heightened security measures to continue in highly-populated areas.
