Muslim killer-cop’s story falls apart: Justine Damond’s neighbors heard no loud noises — multiple people interviewed

( Muslims do not assimilate! They infiltrate! )

Mohamed Noor said he was “startled” by a loud noise. He sounds little a little girl (and a liar). That notwithstanding, neighbors said, they heard nothing.

Pajama-clad Justine Damond was unarmed when Mohamed Noor fired multiple shots and shot her dead. She died at the scene.

From the Daily Telegraph: (thanks to Scott)

“Howevever, the police department’s internal affairs unit can compel him to give a statement as part of its own investigation, and fire himif he refuses, said Minneapolis defense lawyer Joe Friedberg, whoisn’t involved in the case.”

That statement cannot be used against him in any criminal investigation.

Fred Bruno, Mr Harrity’s lawyer, told the Minneapolis Star Tribune that his client and Mohamed Noor, who shot Damond, may have been spooked by a “loud noise” before the Australian woman approached the police car.

News Corp spoke to half a dozen residents who were in their houses around the crime scene on Saturday night and none had heard the gunshot or any other loud noises that sounded like fireworks. One
resident a block from the scene, waiter Tom McConnell, said however it was common during the current summer holidays for fireworks left over from the recent July 4 celebrations to be set off on weekend nights.

disrespect for women is consistent with Islamic text and teachings.

Noor’s contempt and racism against blacks in not surprising. Black in Arabic is abeed – which means slave. Millions of blacks live as slaves in Muslim countries. Muslim slavery of blacks accounts for 20% of the population of Mauritania. American Black leaders aligning themselves with racists and misogynists and slave owners speaks to the success of disinformation regarding Islam in this country.

Women’s March Minnesota announced plans for a “healing and justice” walk for Damond. Is this a Sarsour victory lap?

Unanswered questions:
— What happened during the missing two minutes where Noor radioed in that he was responding to the 911 call about a reported rape and the next call, “shots fired”?

— Were the complaints against Minneapolis police officer Mohamed Noor from women? Did they had to do with excessive force?

— Is it common for a rookie cop in Minneapolis to have three complaints lodged against him in the first two years of duty?

— Why was his body cam off?

— Why was his gun out?

— He is going through a divorce, with no mention in the local news as to the ex-wife or circumstances. Did he beat her?

Neighbour of Justine Damond’s killer gives shocking new insight into his behaviour

Chris Miller, Noor’s neighbour, says he wasn’t surprised to hear the officer was responsible for the shooting. Picture: Jules Ameel

EXCLUSIVE

EXCERPT: KILLER cop Mohamed Noor is known in the townhouse complex where his large family lives as quick-tempered, “jumpy” and “extremely nervous”.

New insight into the character of the Minneapolis policeman emerged on Thursday as investigators released transcripts of the two emergency calls Australian life coach Justine Damond made just before Noor shot her dead last Saturday night.

Noor, 31, is the oldest of Mohamed Abass and Rahmo Ali’s ten children and is a frequent presence at his parents’ modest white two-storey home, which they share with his four younger siblings and is just 2km from his apartment.

Forklift driver Chris Miller, 49, has lived next door for the past two years and said he wasn’t surprised to learn Noor was the policeman making international headlines for firing on Ms Damond after she called 911 about what she thought was a sexual assault in the alley behind her house.

“He is extremely nervous … he is a little jumpy … he doesn’t really respect women, the least thing you say to him can set him off,” Mr Miller said.

“When they say a policeman shot an Australian lady I thought uh, oh but then when they said who it was I was like, ‘OK.’”

He said Noor, who has refused to explain to investigators what led him to shoot dead bride-to-be Damond, was a strict and ill-tempered presence in the townhouse block, where children play together in a playground in a small park between the units.

“He got into it with the kids, they were outside playing and something got stuck in a tree and he came out and he just started yelling at the kids because they were out here playing,” Mr Miller said.

“He has little respect for women he has little respect for blacks and kids,” said Mr Miller, who is African-American.

“He has an air like you just couldn’t really be around him.”

Islamic supremacism.

Noor’s partner, Officer Matt Harrity, told investigators from Minnesota’s Bureau of Crime Apprehension the 31 year old rookie cop shot Ms Damond as she approached their squad car just as a loud noise erupted.

While Noor has not spoken about the incident, his brother on Tuesday told News Corp Australia the shooting was an “unfortunate” accident.

“We feel so bad about this, we are traumatised ourselves. It’s so unfortunate,” a family member said.

Unfortunate. These people are soulless.

Court Stunner! Girl Must Use Girls Locker Room

Rejecting eight years of “gender identity” politics under President Obama, a Missouri appeals court ruled a biological girl must use a locker room for girls.

The Missouri Court of Appeals, Western District, this week affirmed the dismissal of a complaint by a female identified by the court only as R.M.A.

She had sued the Blue Springs R-IV School District and its board of education because, after adopting a male name and changing the gender reference on her birth certificate, she still was being required by the school district to use facilities designated for females . . .

The girl alleged her exclusion from the boys’ restrooms and locker rooms subjected her “to different requirements for accessing the services of the school” due to gender.

However, the school argued that the Missouri Human Rights Act, under which the claim was filed, “does not extend its protection to claims based on gender identity.” (Read more from “Court Stunner! Government Demands ‘Queer Theology’ in Seminaries

An executive agency of the United Kingdom’s Foreign and Commonwealth Office has issued a report demanding that seminaries include “queer theology” in their courses for students and confirming even Sunday schools must have “teaching of LGBTI beliefs.”

The stunning document was released by Wilton Park, which is part of the Foreign Office structure, and it also demands that the Bible be reinterpreted “to make it compatible with LGBTI ideology.”

Officials at the Barnabas Fund, which is a Christian organization that works in support of persecuted Christians around the globe, were surprised . . .

“The recommendations, if implemented, would massively reverse freedom of religion across the globe,” they wrote.

“Once it is accepted that any ideology can be imposed on those who hold conscientious disagreement with it, a very significant backward step has been taken both in relation to i) Freedom of Religion or Belief and ii) human rights generally.” (Read more from “Government Demands ‘Queer Theology’ in Seminaries” HERE) http://joemiller.us/2017/07/government-demands-queer-theology-seminaries/

Christian Demonstrators Attacked, Injured by Liberals Waving Gay Pride Flag

“Defense of Christianity” demonstration in front of Calgary’s City Hall turned violent.

Street Church had a valid permit and was ready to begin when angry members of Calgary’s “Anti-Fascist Action” group started screaming in the faces of demonstrators.

The “Street Church” demonstrators screamed back, “Jesus loves you and wants to save your soul,” and similar messages. Confrontations escalated, culminating in the “Anti-Fascist” group starting several mixed martial arts fights.

Murkowski 1 of the 3 Republican Senators Blocking Final Effort to Defund Planned Parenthood )

( Do not forget the importance of the 2018 Nov.8 elections time to clean house of all oppose the

will of the people and are elected president!

Principles for a FREE SOCIETY )

It looks like Planned Parenthood won’t be defunded and Obamacare won’t be repealed thanks to three Republican senators.

Republicans failed to rally enough senators to vote for the Better Care Reconciliation Act, which would repeal and replace Obamacare. Then, Majority Leader Sen. Mitch McConnell, R-Kentucky, announced the Senate would instead only vote on repealing the pro-abortion healthcare law.

The bill repealing Obamacare would also defund Planned Parenthood for one year. Three Republican senators, Shelley Moore Capito of West Virginia, Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, and Susan Collins of Maine, have all said they’d vote against the bill. This means McConnell doesn’t have the 50 votes needed to debate and then pass the bill.

Capito has a mixed record on abortion, having voted for a few moderate pro-life bills but also to expand research on human embryonic stem cell lines and fund contraception. In 2015, she voted to repeal Obamacare, when it was obvious the then-president would veto the legislation. She said she doesn’t support repealing Obamacare without a replacement.

Freeeeedom! This All-Out WAR on Obamacare Will Make You Fist-Pump

The House Freedom Caucus has not abandoned the health care fight. In fact, it has declared all-out war on Obamacare.

On Wednesday, the conservative House members filed a motion to force a vote on the 2015 repeal bill the GOP-controlled Congress passed and sent to President Obama.

Congressman Tom Garrett, R-Va., a freshman representative, filed a special rule known as a “discharge petition” to begin the process of forcing a vote.

“Every member of this body elected prior to last year’s election who has an ‘R’ beside their name at some point voted on many of the dozens of occasions on which we passed a repeal,” Garrett told reporters, with many of his caucus colleagues accompanying his side. “Let me be clear on this: It’s not a full repeal and nothing. It’s a full repeal with two years … with a 24-month phase-out to find a replacement.”

“This is a message to House leadership that we support their best efforts and we want to work with them to continue to move the ball forward to do what we all said we wanted to do,” Garrett said.

“This is a message to the Senate that if they act as Leader McConnell has suggested that they act, we have their backs. We will be here. This is a message to the president of the United States that we haven’t abandoned the fight, nor have we relinquished our desire to fight for the promises we made.”

Rep. Garrett went on address the Left’s ad hominem attacks on Republicans.

“We hear about how Republicans ‘don’t care and they want to kill people.’ ‘They don’t care about people. ‘They want to knock people off their plans,” Garrett said.

“In this nation you can choose, in some places, to buy marijuana. You can choose to pay to go bungie jumping. You can choose to go scuba diving. You can buy explosives for the Fourth of July. But, by gosh, you can’t buy a health care plan that doesn’t have maternity or mental health care even if you want to,” Garrett said.

“So we’re about choice, we’re about freedom, and we’re about keeping our word. We’re about helping our leadership do what they say they wanted to do, and we’re about absolutely letting the people at home who are as frustrated as I am, and was, know that there are still some people here who are going to do what they said they would do.”

The repeal legislation Garrett and the other members of the Freedom Caucus want Congress to vote on would repeal most of Obamacare. To force a vote, the discharge petition will require signatures from 218 members of Congress.

Even if there aren’t enough to sign the petition, one benefit is that voters will be able to see which members of Congress support repeal, and which don’t.

“We should put on President Trump’s desk what we put on President Obama’s desk. We should demand no less,” said Freedom Caucus Chairman Mark Meadows R-N.C.

This is what it looks like to be a conservative in Congress and fight. (For more from the author of “Freeeeedom! This All-Out WAR on Obamacare Will Make You Fist-Pump” please click HERE) http://joemiller.us/2017/07/freeeeedom-war-obamacare-will-make-fist-pump/

The REAL Reason for GOP Hypocrisy

The REAL Reason for GOP Hypocrisy

( Remember there are elections 2018 Nov. 18 time to clean house )

So, when it was impossible to repeal or replace or do anything about Obamacare because President Obama was in the Oval Office with his veto pen?

As the Daily Caller noted here: “Forty-eight current Republican senators supported the 2015 Obamacare repeal bill, including Sens. Lisa Murkowski of Alaska and Shelley Moore Capito of West Virginia.”

Then? Then the unexpected, as explained here by Republican Pennsylvania Senator Pat Toomey recently. The headline: “Sen. Pat Toomey on health care delay: I didn’t think Trump would win presidency.”

The story says, in part: “‘I didn’t expect Donald Trump to win. I think most of my colleagues didn’t. So we didn’t expect to be in this situation,’ Pat Toomey, R-Pa., said Wednesday […] The Pennsylvanian senator isn’t the only GOP lawmaker working on health care who also wasn’t expecting the Trump presidency. ‘I didn’t think President Trump had a chance at winning,’ Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., said in an interview with a local Kentucky TV station in December 2016.”

And now? Now that there is in fact a President Trump sitting at Obama’s old desk, pen in hand and ready to sign a repeal of Obamacare? Again, the Daily Caller: “Two Republicans senators who voted to repeal Obamacare in 2015 now say they will not support a similar bill by Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell […] Now Murkowski and Moore Capito oppose the McConnell measure.”

The utter hypocrisy here is breathtaking. This is a flat-out betrayal of one of the biggest GOP promises since the days of opposition to slavery.

There is room for disagreement on how to go about the repeal. This amounts to a discussion of whether the glass is half full or half empty. Is the GOP bill cementing Obamacare in place — as per Senator Rand Paul? Or is it a move, however tepid, toward a free-market system?

When it says of the “Obamacare Republicans”: “The Obamacare Republicans ran on fiscal discipline but they rejected the best chance for entitlement reform in a generation. They campaigned against deficits—and some like Mr. Moran and Nevada’s Dean Heller have endorsed a balanced-budget amendment—yet they dismissed a $1.022 trillion spending cut. They denounced Obamacare’s $701 billion in tax increases but then panicked over repealing ‘tax cuts for the rich.’”

Particularly startling in all this mess was this comment, again per the WSJ, from Utah’s Senator Mike Lee: “Mr. Lee opposed the first draft of the bill in part because it ‘included hundreds of billions of dollars in tax cuts for the affluent.’ He opposed the new version for ‘not repealing all of the Obamacare taxes.’”

One can only be gobsmacked that any Republican United States Senator has picked up the class warfare thinking of the Obama Left by protesting against “hundreds of billions of dollars in tax cuts for the affluent.”

So, what do we have here when all is said and done? (And it must be noted, there are kudos for Texas Senator Ted Cruz and his ceaseless efforts to get something done that has some relation to principle.)

What we have is one very, very confused Republican Party.

The party of the free market is making it abundantly clear that it is really the party terrified of the liberal media and Democrats picturing them as so many Ebenezer Scrooges for wanting to take away a new entitlement … in spite of the fact that said entitlement is crashing and burning around them and is surely at the root of some future national financial calamity, as was witnessed with the infamous Community Reinvestment Act that eventually contributed to the financial collapse of 2008.

Note well that the CRA, passed in 1977 at the instigation of President Jimmy Carter, passed the House by a vote of 384-26, with 18 of those 26 nays coming from Republicans. Other than those 18 — conservatives of the day with names like California’s John Rousselot and Bob Dornan, Ohio’s John Ashbrook, and Illinois’ Phil Crane — the rest of the House Republicans sided with Jimmy Carter, Tip O’Neill, and liberals.

Decades later, of course, the financial house of cards they set in motion crashed. As Mark Levin notes in “Rediscovering Americanism”: “The progressives’ interference with the housing market through the Community Reinvestment Act resulted in the collapse of that market, a calamitous disaster for millions of homeowners who lost the equity in their homes or lost their homes outright.”

Exactly. But now, as in 1977, progressives have interfered with a giant chunk of the American economy, this time the American health care system. And as demonstrated in the GOP-controlled Senate, there are Republicans today, as in 1977, all too willing to side with the progressives as they buy in to the same reasoning for not repealing Obamacare that they bought in passing the CRA.

The idea was succinctly and fatuously expressed this time by West Virginia’s Shelley Moore Capito: “As I have said before, I did not come to Washington to hurt people.”

Except, of course, she is. Obamacare has ruined health insurance for many Americans, and, yes, as noted here, it has even proved fatal for some. (In that cited case of Long Islander Frank Alfisi, who was denied needed dialysis because of Obamacare rules, at his death, Mr. Alfisi’s daughter was told by her father’s doctor, “You can thank Mr. Obama for this.”)

There is a serious problem here — a problem that has nothing to do with health care. The problem? Far too many Republicans have been politically gulled into buying the progressive argument about the role of government, because they fear being painted as an elected version of Scrooge or, worse — because they genuinely buy in to leftist/progressive dogma about the role of government.

This is in complete opposition to the founding principles of the country, not to mention those of the GOP. And it produces disasters like refusing to repeal Obamacare or going along with disasters waiting to happen, like the Community Reinvestment Act. As Rush Limbaugh has asked in the wake of this disaster: “What’s the point of voting Republican?”

In sum, too many Republicans (most prominently, today, Senators Murkowski and Capito) are ignoring the wisdom of Ronald Reagan.

“The nine most terrifying words in the English language are, ‘I’m from the government and I’m here to help.’”

The Daily Jot - Don't be a Doomer

Don't be a Doomer

NOTEWhen writing about God and Jesus, The Daily Jot means YHVH as God and Yeshua Ha Mashiach as Jesus--the actual original names and the true nature and character of them.

Wednesday, July 19, 2017
If you listen to or read the news, there is no doubt it can have an impact on you. Americans are bombarded day in and day out about the horrible condition of our country. We see, hear or read story after story about how bad our President is, how bad Congress is, how bad God is, how bad the things that we always knew as good and right are. It was difficult, for example, for me to find one good news story this morning as I perused my news sources. If you start believing all this, it will have a very negative impact on your life's outlook. It will affect your mentality. It will affect your relationships. It will change the way your brain processes information. And that's the game of Satan, which the media and leftists are playing.

There has been a great increase in the number of emails I receive saying in various ways that America is doomed. These emails, with good documentation, point to stories and statistics that, at least in their writer's minds, point to the demise of America. The moral condition of our nation; the hatred that is espoused by those claiming anyone who disagrees with them are haters; the appearance that those who are seeking the obstruction and overthrow of the Constitutional basis of America are in the majority and they are winning; the lack of the "Church" to focus on spreading the gospel and it's tremendous life-living instruction-all these things point to an America in decline. Yes, they do. We live in perilous times.

A few days ago, Chris and I visited Jamestown, Va., one of the first colonial settlements in our country. These men came to America on a 4 ½ month journey packed like sardines in small "ships." They carved out a civilization through hard work, facing tremendously negative elements. The pilgrims on the Mayflower had it even rougher a little more than a decade later. The French Huguenots in Florida actually faced execution by the Spanish for their religious beliefs. I'm sure there were times when these courageous people thought the world was ending, but they kept on, having enormous faith in God. The Jamestown settlers were required to attend prayer services twice a day. Point is, they were bloomers, not doomers.

America is an ideal, even more than it is a country. Being American means that you are free to do and be, to worship, to speak, to enjoy the fruits of your labor, to dream and to invent, to lead or to follow. Yes, our country is facing a terrible time. If we, however, face these times as doomers, it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. For me, so long as there is God, there is hope. Remember Elijah after the miracle on Mt Carmel became filled with fear and told the Lord in 1 Kings 19:10, "and I, even I only, am left: and they seek my life to take it away." He, having little hope, thought he was the only prophet of God left alive, but God had preserved 7,000 who had not bowed to Baal. America is going through a rough time, but it has before. It's the remnant of good people who need to focus on God's work and once again turn the world upside down.
Have a Blessed and Powerful Day!

Bad News for LGBTQ: Plan to Take Back Rainbow

Many thousands of years before the “gay” movement claimed the rainbow as its emblem, God fashioned the brilliantly colored banner of light and painted it across the sky as a beautiful symbol of his enduring covenant with mankind.

Six millennia later, bare-skinned “gay” men would strut their stuff on parade floats wearing nothing but rainbow Speedos, tutu skirts and body paint, celebrating their homosexual “pride” by proudly displaying the spectrum through America’s public streets.

Now, after decades of witnessing the colors splashed across “gay” parades, flags, bumper stickers and even the White House in 2015, one prominent Christian has announced his plan to “take back the rainbow.”

Ken Ham is president of Answers in Genesis, which created the Ark Encounter, a massive reproduction in Kentucky of the biblical Noah’s Ark. Described as the largest timber frame structure in the world, the project re-created Noah’s Ark at 510 feet long, 85 feet wide and 51 feet high . . .

Ham announced on Twitter that the ark will be lit with a massive rainbow every evening. (Read more from “Bad News for LGBTQ: Plan to Take Back Rainbow” HERE) http://joemiller.us/2017/07/bad-news-lgbtq-plan-take-back-rainbow/

Creepy New ‘Smart Toys’ Allow Pedophiles to Track and Talk Directly to Kids

A particularly ominous warning was put out by the FBI’s Internet Crime Complaint Center this week alerting people to the potential dangers Internet-connected toys pose to adults and children alike. Not only do these ‘spy toys’ have the potential to record kids’ conversations, track their movements, reveal their location — they even allow perverts to TALK to children directly.

The alert, titled: CONSUMER NOTICE: INTERNET-CONNECTED TOYS COULD PRESENT PRIVACY AND CONTACT CONCERNS FOR CHILDREN, warns users of the security risks and vulnerabilities posed by this new line of smart toys that connect via WiFi or Bluetooth to your home network.

The toys, according to the warning, typically contain sensors, microphones, cameras, data storage components, and other multimedia capabilities – including speech recognition and GPS options.

According to the FBI, “microphones could record and collect conversations within earshot of the device. Information such as the child’s name, school, likes and dislikes, and activities may be disclosed through normal conversation with the toy or in the surrounding environment. The collection of a child’s personal information combined with a toy’s ability to connect to the Internet or other devices raises concerns for privacy and physical safety.”

Given how easily children give out their information — especially considering they think they are engaging with a harmless toy — the implications for abuse from criminal and government actors are damning.

The deliberate or accidental vulnerabilities inside these toys present a unique opportunity for sickos who want to spy on or otherwise engage in conversation with unsuspecting children.

According to the FBI, these “devices could pose a risk for unauthorized access to the toy and allow communications with a child user.”

In other words, pedophiles could access these toys and talk to children, potentially luring them out of the home and into the arms of their attacker. Given the fact that many of these spy toys use GPS, the predators would easily be able to locate their victim.

However, it’s not just children that are unprotected, these toys are vulnerable to exploits which could allow hackers access to the microphone and cameras — essentially allowing for unauthorized surveillance of their unwitting victims. These exploits would then pave the way for identity theft, bank fraud, or even violent crimes against adults and children alike.

The FBI notes that “Security safeguards for these toys can be overlooked in the rush to market them and to make them easy to use.

“Consumers should perform online research of these products for any known issues that have been identified by security researchers or in consumer reports,” the FBI recommended.

Even if you do all your research and pick out the safest spy toys on the market, however, the data collected and security measures are all out of your hands and in the hands of the manufacturer or server operations.

As the tech site Slash Gear points out, unfortunately, server security is on the manufacturer or their third-party partner responsible for storing the data, and it certainly seems that in a lot of cases, security of these servers is put on the back burner until a breach actually occurs.

As with any Internet-connected devices, allowing children unsupervised access from the start is a terrible idea. And, if you must have them, it is your responsibility to supervise your children, secure your internet access, and make sure that these toys aren’t wholeheartedly spying on you and your kids.

Ironically enough, these toys sound like the FBI’s wet dream.

As TFTP reported last year, a formal complaint filed with the FTC by the Electronic Privacy Information Center (EPIC), the Campaign for a Commercial Free Childhood, the Center for Digital Democracy, and the Consumers Union notes that the “toys subject young children to ongoing surveillance,” in violation of privacy and consumer protection laws — and, worse, the nature of the company Genesis Toys employs for that purpose.

“Nuance Communications,” the aforementioned groups state in a complaint to the FTC, “represents itself as a leader in voice technology, including speech recognition software and voice biometric solutions that allow a search of the company’s 60 million enrolled voiceprints for a voice match from recorded conversations to be performed within minutes. Nuance markets its technology to private and public entities and delivers its voice biometric technology to military, intelligence, and law enforcement agencies.”

“Both Genesis Toys and Nuance Communications unfairly and deceptively collect, use, and disclose audio files of children’s voices without providing adequate notice or obtaining verified parental consent,” the complaint stated.

While the FBI lists a myriad of different ways consumers can limit their risks of exploitation from these toys, conveniently absent from their list is the simple option of not buying them. Comey Went Outside FBI Protocol With Leaks

Former FBI Director James Comey’s actions in leaking to the media his own memos about meetings with President Donald Trump were not in keeping with how the Department of Justice operates, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein said Wednesday.

During a Fox News interview, Rosenstein said he would not directly address Comey’s actions. However, he was forthright when asked by Martha MacCallum on The Story whether he would ever consider it proper for an FBI director to leak notes to the media regarding a meeting with a president.

“As a general proposition, you have to understand the Department of Justice. We take confidentiality seriously, so when we have memoranda about our ongoing matters, we have an obligation to keep that confidential,” Rosenstein said.

Rosenstein also said the principle of confidentiality is basic to the work of the Department of Justice.

“I think it is quite clear,” he said. “It’s what we were taught, all of us prosecutors and agents.”

During the interview, he also defended hiring special counsel Robert Mueller to investigate collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia, something Trump has denied for months.

“I’ve got to explain that I made the decision to appoint Director Mueller based upon his reputation. He had an excellent reputation. Really bipartisan support for his integrity. That’s why I made that decision,” Rosenstein said. “But I can assure you that if there were conflicts that arose because of Director Mueller or anybody employed by Director Mueller, we have a process within the department to take care of that.”

Rosenstein said Mueller’s probe should be judged once it completes its work.

“The Department of Justice, we judge by results, and so my view about that is, we’ll see if they do the right thing,” Rosenstein said.

Comey said he believed the memos he wrote were his to do with as he pleased, but the FBI has indicated it has a different view. Four of the seven memos Comey wrote contained classified information, the FBI has told Congress.

FBI policy forbids an agent from sharing classified information without prior written permission, and all records created during official duties are government property.

Columbia University professor Daniel Richman, a Comey friend who leaked part of one memo to The New York Times, has said no rules were broken.

“No memos were given to the press, and no memos were classified at the time I received them,” Richman said, adding that the physical memo was never shared, only its “substance.” (For more from the author of “Comey Went Outside FBI Protocol With Leaks” please click HERE) http://joemiller.us/2017/07/comey-went-outside-fbi-protocol-leaks/

The Left Is a Greater Threat to America Than Putin

Last week, I tweeted, “The news media in the West pose a far greater danger to Western civilization than Russia does.”

To my surprise, the tweet went viral. And while there were more likes than dislikes, 99 percent of the written reactions were negative.

Typical reactions were:

–“F— you.”

–“Move to Russia.”

–“Your very full diapers pose a very great danger, please change them.” That received 1,880 likes.

–“I’ve wiped s— off my shoes more trustworthy and patriotic than your sorry a–.” That received 606 likes.

You get the idea.

But it wasn’t the ad hominem insults that I found troubling. What was troubling was the low state of logical thinking that so many responses reflected.

This was exemplified by their reminding me how important a free press is to democracy (as if attacking the behavior of the media were the same as denying the need for a free press); their asking how many nukes the media have compared with Russia (as if a threat to lives were the same as a threat to a civilization); and their thinking that my tweet was about President Donald Trump (he was never mentioned, and the words were just as true when Barack Obama was president).

My tweet was about the Western left undoing Western civilization. My one regret is that I did not mention universities along with the media.

The tweet had nothing to do with the existence of a free press. Attacking what the media is doing is not the same as attacking the existence of the media—any more than attacking Trump is attacking the existence of the presidency.

With regard to Russia having more nukes than the media, those who noted this fact so missed the entire point of the tweet that it is almost breathtaking.

When one speaks about dangers to a civilization, one is speaking ideologically, not physically. Of course, if Russia were to unleash its nuclear weapons against the West, it would kill vast numbers of Westerners.

However, that would no more mean the end of Western civilization than the Holocaust meant the end of Jewish civilization. Civilization connotes a body of ideas and a value system.

Furthermore, a Russian nuclear attack threatening the West’s physical existence is an utterly remote possibility. Russian leaders, just as Soviet leaders before them, fear what is known as MAD (mutually assured destruction).

The real nuclear threat comes from North Korea and, above all, Iran, which constantly announces its intent to exterminate Israel. But while The New York Times cannot stop writing about the threat Russian President Vladimir Putin poses, it accuses Trump of “demonizing” Iran.

The real threat to Western civilization is Western civilization ceasing to believe in itself. And, in that regard, Russia poses no danger, while the left-wing-dominated media and universities pose an existential threat.

That’s why the most depressing of the negative reactions were those from people calling themselves conservatives. If conservatism isn’t about conserving Western civilization first and foremost, what is it about?

Students in college have voted the American flag off their campus. Where did these students learn their unprecedented contempt for America and patriotism, if not from their schools and the media?

European countries continue to welcome in millions of Muslims, adding to the tens of millions of Muslims already in Europe—many of whom, if not most, have no interest in adopting Europe’s values.

Do the critics of my tweet conclude nothing about the left’s role—meaning the role of Western media and academia—in promoting multiculturalism, the doctrine that holds that no cultural, religious, or value system is superior to any other?

At the University of Pennsylvania, its left-wing English department has removed its long-standing portrait of Shakespeare because he was white and male. Is that not a direct hit on Western civilization?

The left-wing prime minister of Canada has proudly announced, “There is no core identity, no mainstream in Canada,” and that Canada is “the first postnational state.”

What produced him? Putin?

Is it Putin who is removing American flags from American campuses?

Is Putin destroying the notion of male and female?

Has Putin convinced half of America’s millennials that socialism is preferable to capitalism?

Did Putin convince Pope Francis that Islamic terrorists are no more of a threat to Europe than baptized Catholics who kill their girlfriends?

Is Putin the reason Oxford University students voted that Israel is a greater threat to peace than Hamas?

Putin is indeed a murderous quasi dictator. But all this contempt for Western civilization comes from the Western media and the Western universities.

The smoking gun was provided just two weeks ago in the media’s reactions to Trump’s speech in Warsaw, Poland, in which he called for protecting Western civilization.

Virtually the entire Western media said it was a call to protect white racism—because the media deem Western civilization to be nothing more than a euphemism for white supremacy.

That’s what my tweet was about. (For more from the author of “The Left Is a Greater Threat to America Than Putin” (For more from the author of “The Left Is a Greater Threat to America Than Putin” please click HERE) http://joemiller.us/2017/07/left-greater-threat-america-putin/

NEW YORK TIMES REFUSES To Publish Op-Ed By Lifetime Democrat, Top Legal Scholar Alan Dershowitz Because It Defended Innocence Of President Trump [VIDEO] http://100percentfedup.com/new-york-times-refuses-publish-op-ed-lifetime-democrat-top-legal-scholar

Alan Dershowitz has been a regular contributor to #FakeNews New York Times for decades. This time however, the New York Times, the publication that used to be the “gold standard” in journalism, has drawn the line, as the liberal Harvard law professor’s op-ed doesn’t jive with their relentless character assassination of our sitting president. Let that sink in…

Mr. Dershowitz told the Washington Examiner in an interview Monday that he’s tried to get in touch with the The New York Times’ editors, to no avail. He said he wanted to publish an op-ed last month arguing that President Trump likely didn’t attempt to obstruct justice when he fired former FBI Director James Comey.
“I said that I thought the readers of the New York Times were entitled to hear or read the other side of the issue whether there were crimes committed,” he said. “And I really do think The New York Times does not want its readers to hear an alternative point of view on the issue of whether or not Trump administration is committing crimes.”

A Times spokesperson declined to comment, telling the Examiner that the paper does not discuss the editorial process for op-ed submissions.

Dershowitz lays out his case on Anderson Cooper’s 360 show on CNN, as he attempts to explain the constitutionality of President Trump’s actions in how he handled former FBI director James Comey. Watch leftist legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin attempt to argue the protections afforded to our president in the Constitution don’t matter if you hate Trump and that he should be impeached:

Mr. Dershowitz has made headlines recently for arguing that there was likely no crime committed by Donald Trump Jr. in June 2016 when he met with Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya in order to get potentially damaging information on Hillary Clinton. Mr. Dershowitz has stuck by his claim that the younger Mr. Trump’s c

Maxine Waters: Trump should have been convicted of a crime ‘numerous times’; Calls Tucker Carlson ‘racist’

123

In an interview published Wednesday at the New York Times, Rep. Maxine Waters, D-Calif., claimed that President Trump should have been convicted of a crime “numerous times,” but, the Washington Free Beacon notes, she failed to provide specifics.

New York Times Magazine writer Ana Marie Cox asked a question about a 2012 House Ethics Committee’s investigation for improperly intervening on behalf of a bank her husband had a financial stake in. Waters used that question to segue into an attack on Trump.

“Do you think it’s odd that [Republicans] did that to you but won’t go after President Trump?” Cox asked.

“I was completely exonerated,” Waters said in response. “There have been numerous times when Trump should have been convicted of a crime. If Robert Mueller does the investigation that I think he’s going to do, I think he will connect the dots. I think that they’re going to find not only conflict of interest but also obstruction of justice. I think he’s in for new possibilities of either being charged criminally or, as I think, impeached.”

“Waters did not specify for which crimes Trump should have been convicted,” David Rutz said at the Free Beacon, adding:

The Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington previously dubbed Waters one of the “most corrupt” members of Congress, but her invectives against Trump have made her a progressive darling in 2017 and led to the nickname “Auntie Maxine” from millennial supporters.

“I’ve seen a few references to your rhetoric, including the nickname Kerosene Maxine. Do you like—” Cox started to ask.

“I don’t,” Waters said. “I think it was born out of a right-wing group’s description of a person they didn’t like, and they try to tag you with something that would help others believe there’s something wrong with you. I like Auntie Maxine.”

Poor baby…

Keep in mind this is the California Democrat who egged on the Rodney King riots years ago with the battle cry of “no justice, no peace.”  Earlier this year, we reached out to her office to find out if she condemns the death threats made against Trump and his supporters.  We still haven’t received a response from her.

Waters has made it clear she hates this president and his supporters, even going so far as to question their patriotism.

But Waters wasn’t finished, accusing Fox News’ Tucker Carlson of racism for using what Cox called “loaded language” about her homes.

“I own several properties. The way he talked about it is: What right does an African-American woman have to do well? He doesn’t know anything about my investments, about the house that I’ve lived in for 25, 30 years. This idea of ‘’how could she afford that?’’ is racist, and I just dismiss it,” she said.

But Carlson’s comments are spot on.  According to the Los Angeles Times, federal disclosures from 2014 indicated that “Waters and her husband own property in Los Angeles, Palm Springs, Kern County and Washington, D.C. Her home in the Windsor Square neighborhood of Los Angeles is valued at at least $1 million, Waters reported, as is her mortgage on the property.”

Her net worth at the time, the Times said, was -$15,000.  That’s right — a NEGATIVE $15,000.

Here’s video of Carlson’s comments: http://conservativefiringline.com/maxine-waters-trump-convicted-crime-numerous-times/

The interview concluded with Waters declaring that she would not waste her time engaging in a private conversation with the president.  Something tells me the feeling is somewhat mutual…

{aim.org} ~ It was 46 years ago, almost to the day, that the Washington Post ran a story on how man’s behavior was affecting his environment... “In the next 50 years fine dust that humans discharge into the atmosphere by burning fossil fuel will screen out so much of the sun’s rays that the Earth’s average temperature could fall by six degrees,” the Post reported. “Sustained emissions over five to 10 years could be sufficient to trigger an ice age.” But long before the shelf life of the Post’s prediction began to run out with no Ice Age in sight, the newspaper changed course and decided burning fossil fuel would make the weather hotter, not colder. It makes one wonder – Is the Post trying to deliver serious scientific information? Or does it just view pot shots at the energy industry as a way to sell papers? The question came up again on Monday, when the Post carried a story in its Metro section entitled, “Timeline of sea-rise impacts is predicted.”... http://www.aim.org/aim-column/washington-post-gives-megaphone-to-far-left-groups-climate-fearmongering/?utm_source=AIM+-+Daily+Email&utm_campaign=Daily%20Email%20Jul-18-2017&utm_medium=email

Democrats Panic as Colorado
Voters Cancel Their Registrations in Droves
{totalconservative.com} ~ According to a report from the Denver Post, some 3,400 Colorado voters have canceled their registrations in recent weeks, with some of them claiming their decision stems from President Trump’s Election Integrity Commission... and its controversial requests for voter information from all 50 states. The mass de-registrations, while representing a tiny fraction of Colorado voters, have nonetheless given Democrats another excuse to cry about “voter suppression,” a theme that promises to be at the front of their politics in the coming years. At the heart of the controversy is a request from the voter commission asking states to send the White House data from the voter rolls including felony convictions, military status, and voting history, along with personal information such as addresses and social security numbers... http://totalconservative.com/democrats-panic-colorado-voters-cancel-registrations-droves/

 by Rita Dunaway
{wnd.com} ~ In their passion to achieve a government-crafted utopia, the liberal/progressive movement often does more harm than good. This is because their tool of choice – the government – can only apply superficial solutions that come with harmful side effects.

Efforts to correct “income inequality” and “fight poverty” through government entitlement programs are a prime example. As columnist George Will recently asked and answered, “What if large causes of poverty are not matters of material distribution but are behavioral – bad choices and the cultures that produce them? If so, policymakers must rethink their confidence in social salvation through economic abundance.”

Exactly. Even if the government could afford to provide for the basic needs of its citizens from a budgetary perspective (it can’t), doing so would not address many of the root causes of poverty: out-of-wedlock childbirth, divorce and unemployment.

Now consider the push to impose an increasing number and variety of legal restrictions and regulations upon gun ownership. While some basic requirements, like background checks, make sense as a way of making it harder for criminals to obtain weapons, many of the left’s proposals for “gun control” do more to burden law-abiding sportsmen and homeowners than to actually keep anyone safe from criminal activity.

Statistics show that the vast majority of crimes committed with firearms are not committed by the legal owner of the firearm, so it makes little sense to make it more difficult for citizens to legally acquire and carry guns; the citizens who jump through these legal hoops are not the problem.

Nevertheless, liberals like writer Warren Blumenfeld advocate onerous government restrictions upon the Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms, including limiting the number of firearms a person can own, the number of bullets a firearm clip can hold and “re-thinking” concealed-carry laws.

Right now, conservative watchdog group 2nd Vote, is conducting a scientific experiment to test its theory that in fact, “guns don’t kill people; people kill people.” The group has set up a live “gun cam” to monitor one particular gun for criminal behavior.

It may be a silly stunt, but it makes the point: More rules and regulations aimed at an inanimate object aren’t going to make us safer from criminals intent upon destruction.

Let’s look at one more example: funding for education. We see a continuous push for government to invest more and more money in education. Anyone who opposes it is demonized.

I don’t think anyone would argue about the value of good education and its importance to society, so if increased spending on education translated into better-educated students, then it would make a lot of sense. But a study released by the Heritage Foundation several years ago revealed that the steady increase in funding for education over time has not produced corresponding gains in educational achievement.

What does make a difference? According to another Heritage study, the structure and stability of the child’s family and parental involvement in schoolwork have a huge impact on academic performance.

But, sadly for the government-is-the-answer crowd, these are not factors that can be addressed by budgetary line items.

There is a lot to be admired about the liberal/progressive movement. I believe most of the activists within this camp are truly motivated by a legitimate, noble concern for others. This should be recognized and commended. But there is a gaping hole in their worldview; it’s the vacant place where one looks for a link between the proposed solutions – which invariably involve government – and the problems meant to be solved.

Government is not a tool capable of resolving all human struggles, and in America, that was recognized from the start. As Thomas Paine wrote, in “Common Sense,” “Society is produced by our wants, and government by our wickedness; the former promotes our happiness positively, by uniting our affections; the latter negatively, by restraining our voices.”

The role of government in improving human society is a narrowly limited one: to protect its citizens’ rights, to punish wrongdoing and to point people toward the universal Moral Law through basic legal codes that reinforce its fundamental tenets.

When government goes much beyond this, either by using such a broad brush to eliminate harm that it intrudes upon law-abiding citizens or by seeking to become, itself, a positive doer of good in society, the result will invariably be some combination of the following: a contraction of its citizens’ liberty, an erosion of their charitable instincts and personal responsibility, and a colossal waste of money.

The DC Circuit Court of Appeals, in a 2-1 ruling, recently reversed the decision by EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt of a 90-day stay on implementing new methane emissions regulations created during the final year of Barack liar-nObama's presidency. Pruitt argued that the stay was needed in order to thoroughly review the financial impact of the new regulations on the fossil fuel industry. Even the EPA estimated the compliance cost to be as high as $530 million, which means it would most likely be far higher. Pruitt further argued that not enough time was given for the oil industry to weigh in before the regulation went into effect.
The court rejected Pruitt's argument, with the majority stating, "The administrative record thus makes clear that industry groups had ample opportunity to comment on all four issues on which EPA granted reconsideration, and indeed, that in several instances the agency incorporated those comments directly into the final rule."
But there's one big problem here that demonstrates yet another example of judicial overreach in the era of Donald Trump. This action taken by the court is extraordinary in that the court itself has recognized that its authority is limited to the reviewing of "final agency actions," which clearly EPA Director Pruitt's 90-day stay does not merit. In her dissenting opinion, Judge Janice Rogers blasted the majority opinion, stating, "In contrast to our precedent, the Court's opinion concludes a particular administration proceeding has innumerable final agency actions, including intermediate decisions. No authority supports this proposition."
Pruitt can appeal to the Supreme Court, but he won't get a ruling on it until next year, and in the meantime the liar-nObama-era regulation will go into effect. This is yet another reason for Trump to get busy putting conservative judges on the bench. It's clear that the Left will continue to appeal to activist judges to block as much of Trump's agenda as possible.  ~The Patriot Post

{pamelageller.com} ~ The five billion euro project, which includes a cargo terminal and an airport, is designed, Israel says, to boost the impoverished Palestinian enclave’s economy and the humanitarian needs of its nearly two million residents... The Islamist militant group Hamas has controlled Gaza for much of the past decade but Israel says it’s widely perceived as being responsible for the territory as it’s largely the only lifeline to it. “I don’t have any illusion about the Hamas, we know who is the Hamas, who is Yehya Sinwar Hamas leader in Gaza and the other people there. But I’m trying to separate between the civilian problems and military problems,” said Israel Katz, Israeli Intelligence and Transport minister... http://pamelageller.com/2017/07/israel-buidling-palestinian-island.html/

{jewishworldreview.com} ~
Israel began implementing new security measures, including checkpoints and metal detectors, in Jerusalem's Old City on Sunday, two days after three gunmen killed two police officers at the entrance to one of Islam's holiest sites.

The three perpetrators, Palestinian Muslims with Israeli citizenship, were caught on Israeli police cameras exiting the sacred Al-Aqsa mosque compound, a site that is also revered by Jews, shooting the two officers before darting back inside the esplanade.

The assailants, all from the Arab-Israeli town of Umm al-Fahm, were shot dead at the site by security forces.

Immediately following the incident on Friday morning, Israelis, who refer to the site as the Temple Mount, closed the mosque and prevented worshipers from entering the compound and Old City for the first time since 1969.

The move was condemned by many in the Muslim world, who view the ramped-up security as an attempt by Israel to change the precious status quo at the site, which is often a flash point of violence between the sides.

Israeli police said the measures were a necessary secure the site and ensure there were no other weapons present.

Several members of the Wakf, the Islamic trust that administers the site, were detained by police, suspected of aiding the three attackers or for inciting violence against Israel, local media reported.

In an interview on Israel Army Radio on Sunday, Maj. Gen. Yoram Halevy, the Jerusalem District police commander, said dozens of knives, slingshots, batons, spikes and unexploded ordinances were found during the police sweep.

He also said that Jerusalem municipal workers had entered the mosque on Saturday to clean up after the police.

In the aftermath of the attack, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas held a rare phone call, with Netanyahu imploring that there would be no change to the current arrangements at the complex and Abbas, in a rare move, condemned the violence and called on Netanyahu to reopen the site.

After holding a security briefing Saturday night, Netanyahu agreed to do so, ordering the mosque to reopen on Sunday. However, by early afternoon, only Muslim residents of the city were being allowed to enter, and all worshipers had to pass through newly installed metal detectors.

"Those three who were killed Friday didn't do anything good for Muslims or for Jerusalem," said Hafez Sublaban, who runs a small grocery store opposite one of the entrances to the mosque. "The only ones who benefit from it are the Jews. They have taken advantage of the situation."

Sublaban, who has run his kiosk there for more than 20 years, said he did not recall a situation where worshipers were prevented from entering the mosque. But, he said, residents of Jerusalem's Old City endure surveillance 24 hours a day, seven days a week from hundreds of Israeli police security cameras that dot the narrow alleyways and monitor the entrances to the holy site.

"This is not the right state of mind for those who want to go and worship," said Sublaban.

"This is our mosque and our place of worship, we are against these ruthless procedures," said Umm Amar, a 53-year-old resident of the Old City, about to pass the newly set up Israeli police checkpoint to reach the mosque.

"We don't really know what happened on Friday, only G0D knows that, but what we do know is that it has made the situation worse," she said. "I was born here in 1964, and I don't ever remember a time that the mosque was closed for worship."

A family from Jordan that had arrived in Jerusalem on Saturday stood nearby. Because of the tight security, Israeli police officers turned them away.

"This is unacceptable," said Jamal Ishtwayeh, a resident of Amman. "It's like someone coming here from the Vatican and discovering that their church is closed."

Until now, Israel has allowed security personnel employed by the Wakf, to take responsibility for security arrangements after pressure from Jordan, which oversees the site in a complicated arrangement dating back to the 1967 war.

Jordanian news agency Petra reported that Jordan's King Abdullah telephoned Netanyahu on Saturday. He condemned the violence and called for the mosque to be immediately reopened.

Speaking to Israel Army Radio on Sunday, Israel's Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan said that it was up to Israel to decide security protocol for the site and that metal detectors would now be installed at all nine gates into the compound. He also said that police cameras should be able to view the public areas around the mosque.

{rickwells.us} ~ Lou Dobbs has noticed that in addition to Susan Rice, there are others who are trying to hide from the prying eyes of Congressional committees... among them is Fusion GPS founder Glenn Simpson, who last week refused an invitation to testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee. Gregg  Jarrett joins Dobbs to discuss what Jarrett described as an epidemic of unmasking being engaged in by the liar-nObama regime and that crimes may have been committed. The bigger the criminal the more demanding they are, as we learned with liar-Hillary Clinton and her criminal entourage. The level of cooperation of those conducting the investigation is a good indicator of whether or not they are taking things seriously or merely going through the motions. So far, nothing serious threatens Susan Rice... http://rickwells.us/dobbs-jarrett-rice-bailing-testifying-real-legal-jeopardy/

{news.usni.org} ~ Saying “we cannot afford to stand aside” while Russia ignores the 30-year-old Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces treaty, an outspoken member of the Senate Armed Services Committee... said one way to bring the Kremlin into compliance was for Washington to withdraw from two pacts Moscow views as crucial to its security. Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.), speaking at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, said the United States could step away from the Strategic Arms Reduction and “Open Skies” treaties and that would send a message that Washington no longer accepts Vladimir Putin’s “pattern of bad behavior.” While not calling for that immediately or having the United States also ignore the provisions of the INF treaty now, he said there were three other “sensible steps” to show Russia “the time has come to put an end to this” acting as if it can pick and choose whether it would honor treaty commitments... https://news.usni.org/2017/07/17/cotton-talks-tough-russian-non-compliance-inf-treaty?utm_source=USNI+News&utm_campaign=f50b6d9173-USNI_NEWS_DAILY&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_0dd4a1450b-f50b6d9173-231491269&mc_cid=f50b6d9173&mc_eid=3999f18767

{wnd.com} ~ For a year, the big question of Russiagate has boiled down to this: Did Donald Trump’s campaign collude with the Russians in hacking the DNC?

And until last week, the answer was “no.”

As ex-CIA director Mike Morell said in March, “On the question of the Trump campaign conspiring with the Russians … there is smoke, but there is no fire, at all. … There’s no little campfire, there’s no little candle, there’s no spark.”

Well, last week, it appeared there had been a fire in Trump Tower. On June 9, 2016, Donald Trump Jr., Jared Kushner and Paul Manafort met with Russians – in anticipation of promised dirt on liar-Hillary Clinton’s campaign.

While not a crime, this was a blunder. For Donald Jr. had long insisted there had been no collusion with the Russians. Caught in flagrante, he went full Pinocchio for four days.

And as the details of that June 9 meeting spilled out, Trump defenders were left with egg on their faces, while anti-Trump media were able to keep the spotlight laser-focused on where they want it – Russiagate.

This reality underscores a truth of our time. In the 19th century, power meant control of the means of production; today, power lies in control of the means of communication.

Who controls the media spotlight controls what people talk about and think about. And mainstream media are determined to keep that spotlight on Trump-Russia, and as far away as possible from their agenda – breaking the Trump presidency and bringing him down.

Almost daily, there are leaks from the investigative and security arms of the U.S. government designed to damage this president.

Just days into Trump’s presidency, a rifle-shot intel community leak of a December meeting between Trump national security adviser Gen. Michael Flynn and Russia’s ambassador forced the firing of Flynn.

An Oval Office meeting with the Russian foreign minister in which Trump disclosed that Israeli intelligence had ferreted out evidence that ISIS was developing computer bombs to explode on airliners was leaked. This alerted ISIS, damaged the president and imperiled Israeli intelligence sources and methods.

Some of the leaks from national security and investigative agencies are felonies, not only violations of the leaker’s solemn oath to protect secrets, but of federal law.

Yet the press is happy to collude with these leakers and to pay them in the coin they seek. First, by publishing the secrets the leakers want revealed. Second, by protecting them from exposure to arrest and prosecution for the crimes they are committing.

The mutual agendas of the deep-state leakers and the mainstream media mesh perfectly.

Consider the original Russiagate offense.

Confidential emails of the DNC and John Podesta were hacked, i.e., stolen by Russian intelligence and given to WikiLeaks. And who was the third and indispensable party in this “Tinker to Evers to Chance” double-play combination?

The media itself. While deploring Russian hacking as an “act of war” against “our democracy,” the media published the fruits of the hacking. It was the media that revealed what Podesta wrote and how the DNC tilted the tables against Bernie Sanders.

If the media believed Russian hacking was a crime against our democracy, why did they publish the fruits of that crime?

Is it not monumental hypocrisy to denounce Russia’s hacking of the computers of Democratic political leaders and institutions, while splashing the contents of the theft all over Page 1?

Not only do our Beltway media traffic in stolen secrets and stolen goods, but the knowledge that they will publish secrets and protect those who leak them is an incentive for bureaucratic disloyalty and criminality.

Our mainstream media are like the fellow who avoids the risk of stealing cars, but wants to fence them once stolen and repainted.

Some journalists know exactly who is leaking against Trump, but they are as protective of their colleagues’ “sources” as of their own. Thus, the public is left in the dark as to what the real agenda is here, and who is sabotaging a president in whom they placed so much hope.

And thus does democracy die in darkness.

Do the American people not have a “right to know” who are the leakers within the government who are daily spilling secrets to destroy their president? Are the identities of the saboteurs not a legitimate subject of investigation? Ought they not be exposed and rooted out?

Where is the special prosecutor to investigate the collusion between bureaucrats and members of the press who traffic in the stolen secrets of the republic?

Bottom line: Trump is facing a stacked deck.

People inside the executive branch are daily providing fresh meat to feed the scandal. Anti-Trump media are transfixed by it. It is the Watergate of their generation. They can smell the blood in the water. The Pulitzers are calling. And they love it, for they loathe Donald Trump both for who he is and what he stands for.

It is hard to see when this ends, or how it ends well for the country.

How to push through the Trump agenda

If I were Donald Trump, this is how I would force my agenda through the Republican-controlled legislature.

First, I would schedule an "important" prime-time announcement from the Oval Office.  (Also, I would make some oblique remarks that would lead the media to think that I might be going to announce my resignation.  This ploy is to ensure maximum coverage and viewership.)

Once on-air, I would say the following:

"During the campaign I made no pretense about my agenda, and you elected me specifically to implement that agenda.  My positions have not changed.  We must repeal Obamacare.  We must cut taxes.  And we must build the wall."

"When I came to Washington, I fully expected that the Democrats would oppose my efforts.  What I did not expect was to also be battling the Republicans.  I need your help to break this logjam.

"To this end, I am starting a Political Action Committee called DTS-PAC.  DTS stands for Drain-The-Swamp.  All of the contributions to this PAC will be used to fund primary challenges against those Republicans who refuse to pass my agenda.

"If you still support me and the issues that brought me here, I ask that you make a contribution to this PAC during the month of August.  This effort will costly, but every dollar you donate will send a message to these politicians in the only language they understand.  Money."

I believe this would raise an enormous amount of money and put the fear of god into our political elites.  They would either have to support the agenda or face the loss of their power.
