GOP Convention Delegates and Alternates may switch from Trump to Cruz

The 2016 Republican National Committee‘s Convention convenes on July 18.  During this Convention, Republicans will elect a 2016 Presidential nominee for the November General Election ballot. 

During the 2016 Republican Primary season, many Republicans and a majority of other Americans were angry at the activity with President Obama and Capitol Hill legislators.  ‘We the People’ began seeking a new candidate who would stop this activity as was proceeding in Washington, DC; more illegal immigration, more out-of-control spending, high unemployment, a faulty ObamaCare protecting system, and others. 

Voters became encouraged as Donald Trump would speak out loudly saying what ‘We the People’ were thinking. 

Trump would then and even now continues to inappropriately throw cheap insults to challengers so as to criticize, downgrade, and/or call out other improper names to blast ‘ALL’ competitors who even question Donald Trump; on important issues. 

Donald Trump’s political instruction appeared to do or say whatever was necessary to dominate, damage, and even destroy all Republican Party Presidential candidates. 

Whenever others and the Medias criticized Donald Trump for his name calling, most American just ignored the Medias; continuing their Trump support.  ‘We the People’ felt like we had found a new voice. 

Now, many Americans and Republicans who supported and voted for Trump are now finding out that ‘MUCH’ of what Donald Trump says was not true then and words he continues to utter are ‘just not true’.  Challengers and others who question Donald Trump on critical issues are not all liars, weak, and/or useless people, etc.  Many Republicans who supported Donald Trump earlier are now turning their backs on Donald Trump, and his campaign. 

Many are tired of Donald Trump’s ‘UNTRUTHFUL’ cheap insults at many very good men, and especially, ‘ALL’ GOP challengers. 

As Trump continues to  say ‘stupid’ things and persist in calling his GOP challengers and others inappropriate names, Trump has become an embarrassment to the Republican Party and to Americans. 

As the GOP Convention begins on October 16, Sen. Ted Cruz is still on stage.  Sen. Ted Cruz , as a lawyer, has a lifetime history in legal support of Constitutional freedoms including Clerking with the deceased SCOTUS Chief Justice, William Rehnquist.

"But the Day is past. The Second Day of July 1776, will be the most memorable Epocha, in the History of America."

Thus wrote John Adams, to his wife Abigail, on July 3, 1776. The Independence from Britain had been approved the day before he wrote to Abigail, yet the final wording of the Declaration of Independence wasn't completed and its final form wasn't approved until July 4, 1776.  John Hancock did sign the document on July 4, though it was many months later when the final signatures were affixed thereto.

Now, 240 years after those men were willing to "pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes, and our sacred Honor", most have lost sight of what their intentions were, what was created from their fortitude, and what so many have died in the cause of, until recently.

Six years ago, I set out to identify what that Declaration would look like, today, should we, once again, cast off the yoke of despotism. I did not refer to it as a declaration of independence, rather, as a Declaration of Dissolution of Government, since we still have a Constitution, and there is no government that we want independence from -- only a return to the limitations imposed upon that government by the Constitution that created it.

The grievances that were set forth in that document were as follows:

  • They have created a fourth branch of government (Administrative Agencies) that is independent of, and not subject to the will of the People;
  • Their courts have refused to rule upon the Constitutionality of matters before them;
  • They have imposed taxes that appropriate fully one-third of the value of one's earnings;
  • They have generated a debt obligation on our posterity, still unborn, into the unforeseeable future;
  • They have seduced millions of their people into dependence upon that government, at the expense of their neighbors;
  • The have secured for themselves benefit packages approaching those realized by members of Royal courts;
  • The have allowed the appointment of officials in capacities not recognized by the Constitution, and barred from recourse by the People;
  • They have established control over State and local governments by funding and obligations associated therewith;
  • The have supported the creation of a standing army amounting to over one million officers who have both civil and military authority given them by the government;
  • They have expanded the standing army by granting policing powers to many agencies of government who have no need to be armed and authorized to use those arms;
  • The have provided undue immunity and impunity to those who have been given such powers;
  • They have enacted laws that have effectively limit the selection of government office holders from two primary parties.
  • They have endeavored to create empire around the world, which serves not the People of this nation;
  • They have waged war without a proper deceleration of war stating who the enemy is and what event will conclude those wars;
  • They have enacted laws well outside of any police powers anticipated by the Framers of the Constitution;
  • The have subjected States to arbitrary control of the federal government contrary to the guaranteed form of Republican Government within the States;
  • They have allowed the use of fiat currency, contrary to the Constitution, and have continued this practice under the guise of a national emergency, which has existed for over 80 years;
  • They have allowed favored financial institutions to loan money that does not exist to the people, at usurious rates;
  • They have loosened the immigration laws that have served this country well through its history, and refuse, now, to enforce those laws that had been enacted to protect our nation from invasion;
  • They have taken States of the Union to court for the State enforcing laws that the federal government refuses to enforce;
  • They have extended their jurisdiction over the jurisdiction of the States, nullifying the State's right to a Republican Form of Government;
  • They have assumed jurisdiction in foreign lands, enforced by kidnapping, torture and assassination;
  • They have suppressed traditions held dear, for centuries, in this nation;
  • They have removed the rights of traditional churches and have granted rights to churches foreign to our heritage;
  • They have assumed authority not granted by the Constitution;
  • They have denied the States and the People rights guaranteed and protected by the Bill of Rights;
  • They have refused to abide by the "Separation of Powers" doctrine by allowing members of the judicial branches of government to hold office in the legislative and executive branches of government;
  • The have granted to fictitious entities (corporations, associations, unions and other organizations) rights that are recognized to be granted by the Creator only to the people, in their individual capacity;
  • They have formed alliances with foreign nations which are objectionable to the intent of the Constitution, and grant favors to foreign interests over the interest of the People;
  • They have accused large groups of our population, including veterans who have fought for the country, of being a source of threat to that government, naming them as terrorists.

The very same author, Thomas Jefferson, in a letter to William Stephens Smith (November 13, 1787), wrote:

"what country can preserve it’s liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? let them take arms. the remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon & pacify them. what signify a few lives lost in a century or two? the tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots & tyrants. it is it’s natural manure."

So, we must ask ourselves just what we are celebrating, this July 4, 2016. And, we must ask ourselves what we intend to do about that which we once held so sacred.

Columnist Michelle Malkin recently reported on a disturbing case in Twin Falls, Idaho, in which three foreigners, all minors, allegedly violated a young disabled girl.
          Not much is known about the case, and there is growing suspicion among Idaho residents that, because of the circumstances, Muslim sympathizers are attempting to bury the story. As such, Wendy J. Olson, whom Barack nObama picked as U.S. Attorney for the District of Idaho in 2010, threatened last week to use the justice system to quash whistleblowers. "The spread of false information or inflammatory or threatening statements about the perpetrators or the crime itself reduces public safety and may violate federal law," she declared on Friday.
          As Gary Bauer points out, "While clearly high on the left's wish list, there is no federal law under which someone can be prosecuted for 'inflammatory statements.' As one law professor explained in the Washington Post, Olson's statement 'looks like an attempt to chill constitutionally protected speech through the threat of federal prosecution.'"
          That's exactly what it is, and it follows the nObama administration's playbook. For example, on July 15, 2011, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation received the support of then Secretary of State liar-Hilly Clinton in passing UN Resolution 16/18 to censor worldwide any speech perceived to be insulting to Islam. It's part of the same strategy being utilized to penalize climate dissenters.
          For what it's worth, Olson later tried to walk back her incriminating remark, saying, "The statement was not intended to and does not threaten to arrest or prosecute anyone for First Amendment protected speech. I issued the statement because public officials in Twin Falls have received threats. Certain threatening or harassing communications may violate federal law and will be investigated."
          Regardless, Olson exposed a top priority of the nObama administration — using constitutionally protected "hate speech" as a means of regulating the First Amendment.  -The Patriot Post

 Why Benghazi Makes a Difference

Lewis Morris: The release of the final report from the House Select Committee on Benghazi spoke volumes about the lack of concern Barack nObama, liar-Hilly Clinton and the rest of the administration have for American national security. The report, which was completed despite every effort of nObama's White House and congressional Democrats, points out in no uncertain terms that the deaths of Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three of his colleagues could have been prevented. But nObama's craven political narrative was paramount, and liar-Clinton now declares "it's pretty clear it's time to move on." She has the White House to win, after all.
          The report rightfully castigates the administration for failing to provide needed security for the American embassy in Libya despite the repeated reports from Benghazi about security threats in the area. Those security threats, by the way, were created by the nObama/liar-Clinton policy of decapitating Libyan leadership and leaving a vacuum in its place.
          What is worse, however, is the cover-up that nObama, liar-Clinton and their cronies engaged in to protect their own skins.
          The attack on the American facility in Benghazi was a political inconvenience for nObama, and it was treated as such. Taking place on September 11, 2012, in the midst of nObama's re-election campaign, the terrorist attack proved false his narrative that al-Qaida had been "decimated."
          The administration was so invested in that story that they were caught flat-footed when emergency calls came from the Benghazi compound. Rep. Trey Gowdy, Chairman of the House Select Committee on Benghazi, noted, "At the time of the mortar attack, at 5:15 am, not a single wheel of a single U.S. military asset was headed towards Libya. So this was seven hours after the initial attack, and the world's most powerful military can't get a single wheel turning towards the region."
          Instead of owning up to its intelligence failure and its inability to protect Americans in the field, nObama chose to blame the attack on a YouTube video. This claim, which liar-Clinton trotted out on the night of the attack — after she had already told the Egyptian prime minister that it was al-Qaida.
          Then-UN ambassador Susan Rice followed by trumpeting the video story in media interviews, but it quickly fell apart under scrutiny. But ever the team player, Rice stuck to the story, and she was later rewarded by being named National Security Advisor.
          It's virtually certain Rice was given her marching orders by nObama, though she was not given any intelligence information about the situation that preceded the attack or the details of what actually took place.
          When that story came apart, and liar-Clinton sat before Congress to explain, she literally shrugged and shouted at congressional Republicans, "What difference, at this point, does it make?"
          What liar-Clinton knew or what she failed to understand about the developments in Libya in 2012 will likely be forever a point of speculation. Her private email server, which the State Department and the White House let her have despite numerous security questions, has been wiped clean of anything that would truly compromise her political future.
          The Benghazi committee's final report concludes that the administration was more concerned with nObama's re-election campaign than protecting personnel in Libya and certainly more than admitting their mistakes after the fact.
          The report states unequivocally, "What we did find was a tragic failure of leadership — in the run up to the attack and the night of — and an administration that, so blinded by politics and its desire to win an election, disregarded a basic duty of government: Tell the people the truth."
          There was no mention by American personnel in Libya about a video fomenting unrest, or of any protests related to it. What is noted in the final report, however, in voluminous detail, is the fact that the administration ignored calls for stepped up security in Benghazi and ignored concerns about increased unrest, again, fomenting in the wake of nObama and liar-Clinton's failed Libya policy.
          Yet the Leftmedia has been triumphantly running headlines declaring "no new evidence of wrongdoing by lar-Hilly Clinton."
          It can only be surmised that nObama and liar-Clinton hoped that when the 3:00 a.m. call came that Americans overseas were under attack that the whole thing would blow over. The president and his secretary of state hoped that the inconvenience of Americans under fire would not derail nObama's chances for re-election, and that the timing of the attack would not refute the narrative that nObama had defeated Osama bin Laden and al-Qaida.
          Democrats released their own report Monday ahead of the official House report, and took several hundred pages to chastise House Republicans, Mitt Romney, and even Donald Trump for creating a so-called partisan witch-hunt to embarrass nObama and liar-Clinton. Truth be told, those two have done that all on their own. The worst point of all is that four brave Americans died so that nObama and liar-Clinton could protect the sham that is their political careers.
          "A lot of people tell pollsters they don't trust me," liar-Clinton admitted earlier this week. "I personally know I have work to do on this front." As this damning report makes clear, she's earned every ounce of that distrust.   -The Patriot Post

The left's worn-out tactic of name-calling, labeling people as bigots, homophobes, xenophobes or racists isn't working. The more they hurl accusations, the bigger the movement grows.

Globalists fail to understand human psyche. They don't get that humans are hardwired with an innate desire for freedom, and the longer it is repressed the stronger the desire grows.

In a nutshell, globalism is a skewed worldview based on fear of death and lack of faith in God's provision.

A little historical background: Globalism first showed up on the planet with the Tower of Babel. After the flood, God instructed man to disperse and "fill the Earth," but a nimrod named Nimrod thought he had a better idea, and gathered together a group of likeminded faithless rebels who believed dispersing was a bad idea. So they built a city and a tall tower with the intention to live in a world of perpetual sameness under the control of a universal ruler, Nimrod the nimrod.

To them, oneness, globalism, meant survival. But Genesis 11 tells the rest of the story and what God thought about this primitive version of globalism. Because of their disobedience and self-sufficiency, "... the Lord scattered them from there all over the earth...That is why it was called Babel ---- because there the Lord confused the language of the whole world..."

If individual nations with unique languages, customs and cultures are good enough for God, it should be good enough for us. That's why the globalist utopian dream of peaceful coexistence and economic share-everything-ness is just a dream and will never become a reality.

Nonetheless, diehards will do everything in their power to make it work. They've sewn our mouths shut with political correctness and shackled our hands with abusive, controlling regulations. They are so committed to their globalism purpose, they feel the need to cover for it every time something like Fort Hood, San Bernardino or the Orlando massacre happens.

Globalism's a real and present problem, but if you've read The Book, you understand there really is no permanent fix. The best we can do is do our best to delay the arrival of the inevitable like Great Britain's Brexit referendum just did. But in the meantime, one thing's for certain: Another train is set to arrive and we are promised that one will be right on time. May we not be so preoccupied with Babel-like self-reliance that we fail to prepare for the trip that really matters.

If Indicted, Can Hillary Prevail?

I did some digging to get a somewhat cogent answer to that question, and , in brief, here is what I found so far:

First, while there is a consensus that there are sufficient grounds for the FBI to recommend indictment, the chances of the Lynch-Obama duumverate permitting indictment is, at best and for purely political reasons, slim.

Second, if the charges are sufficiently egregious (multiple felonies), and if the Justice Department does not refer the matter to a grand jury for review and possible prosecution, it is generally believed that there will be electrifying high-profile resignations from and sensitive leaks by the FBI, the intelligence community and the Justice Department which, presumably, would adversely affect Hillary’s ability to win at the convention or in a general election.  

Third, from a constitutional standpoint there is no legal reason for Hillary to withdraw her candidacy before the convention, and Hillary, with the assistance of the media, would draw upon “the court of public opinion” to get elected and to see her through to inauguration in January.  (Note: the Constitution only lists qualifications for a president, not disqualifications; adding ex post facto disqualifiers would be unconstitutional.)

Fourth, since it’s a near certainty that Hillary will not withdraw even if indicted before the convention,  a “brokered convention”  might well ensue which could force her out. Though her delegates are committed to supporting her on the first round of balloting, the 712 super delegates could easily bolt and rally around another candidate if they felt the chances of her election had been seriously jeopardized. Party loyalty could well trump loyalty to Hillary.

Fifth, if Hillary is indicted, there is no constitutional requirement for her to withdraw. Period.

Sixth, if Hillary is indicted, wins the general election and delays the trial until after inauguration in January, per Art II Sec 4 only impeachment by a majority in the House and conviction by 2/3 vote in the Senate can remove her from office. (Note: indictment is not an impeachable offense;  and an impeachable offense is not necessarily an indictable offense; impeachment is a political process.) And if she’s not convicted by the Senate, which is the most likely scenario, Hillary skates free—at least while she’s president. If she leaves office before the 5-year statute of limitation which begins ticking from date of indictment is met--in other words, she’s not elected to a second term--she can still be tried. (Note: for terrorism and financial crimes the statute of limitations is 8 and 10 years respectively.)

Seventh, a sitting president can order the AG to drop all charges, or to not either pursue prosecution or to enforce any sentence imposed. Such an action would surely place into question her constitutional responsibility to “faithfully execute the laws” of the United States and would be, therefore, an impeachable offense.

Eighth, since there is no limit on a president’s pardoning authority, but as no president or governor has ever attempted to pardon himself/herself in the past, Hillary’s pardoning herself would be unprecedented and could easily be construed by the public and Congress as morally—not legally—reprehensible.  The repugnancy of a self-pardon might well be sufficient for an otherwise reluctant Congress to impeach, try and remove her  from office.

Conclusions: my guess is that a narcissistic Hillary Clinton would be more than willing to put the country through the wringer to achieve political power--public interest, traditional standards of rectitude and moral conduct be damned.

If nothing else, these unseemly developments should spark renewed interest in an Art V Convention of States to tighten up qualifications for presidential candidates, to say nothing of limiting the constitutional authority of an increasingly imperial Executive Branch. These acrid developments should also both incur the moral outrage of the People and encourage individual States to  review their election standards as well.

If the charges are as substantive, well-founded and egregious as many on both the left and right agree they are, and if 1) Hillary wins the general election and, 2)  Congress abdicates is constitutional responsibility to impeach and remove her from office, then all bets are off as to the viability of this once venerable constitutional republic. If massive marches on the White House to force her resignation are not attempted or don't succeed, then secession or rebellion can be Americans' only salvation.

The Republican Party has officially advocated free trade for years, including the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and, albeit while less unified, the current Trans-Pacific Partnership. Donald Trump promised to exit NAFTA if it's not renegotiated, and he likewise said he'd kill the TPP.
          Trump's position isn't new and it isn't surprising, especially given that Republican voters aren't so keen on what free trade deals have done (real and perceived) to American manufacturing and jobs. The American middle class feels the squeeze, sees the shuttered factories and can't find anything at Walmart made in America. Thus Trump's position really resonates, whereas the traditional party position just seems out of touch — like everything else from the Beltway. "On trade, on immigration, on foreign policy, we are going to put America first again," Trump said. Who could disagree with that?
          Trump's real political strategy is simple. liar-Hilly Clinton once called the TPP "the gold standard" for trade deals. Now she opposes it. And while union bosses fell into line behind liar-Clinton, her policies are an extension of Barack nObama's, and those policies hurt American workers. So not only has Trump neutralized another issue liar-Clinton might have used to attack him, he's appealing across party lines in hopes of bringing in blue-collar workers to the GOP tent come November.

          Speaking of terrorism, the Islamic State attacked the Istanbul airport Wednesday, killing at least 41 and wounding 239. Several observations: 1. Conflating the two often serves the Left's purposes. But the real carnage was inflicted with suicide vests. 2. Horror and Hush-Up in Twin Falls, Idaho

{freedomsback.com} ~ Something wicked happened in Idaho’s rural Magic Valley. The evil has been compounded by politicians, media and special interest groups doing their damnedest to suppress the story and quell a righteous citizen rebellion.

On June 7, a brief news item appeared on local Twin Falls, Idaho-based KMVT about a “reported sexual assault that possibly occurred near the Fawnbrook Apartments” five days earlier. Unconfirmed accounts of the alleged crime on conservative-leaning websites, plus reports from area members of anti-jihad activist Brigitte Gabriel’s Act for America group and longtime watchdog Ann Corcoran’s Refugee Resettlement Watch blog, culminated in coverage on the powerhouse Drudge Report.

The social media groundswell, untethered from the constraints of political correctness, forced government authorities to respond.

Police and the local prosecutor’s office grudgingly confirmed that an investigation had begun into the incident. The victim: A mentally disabled 5-year-old girl. The alleged perpetrators: Three boys, ages 7, 10 and 14, from Sudanese and Iraqi immigrant families predominantly Muslim who have been in the country for less than two years — all but confirming that they are refugees.

What happened? The case is under seal because it involves minors, but prosecutor Grant Loebs said there is videotape of the alleged sexual assault a fact which local activists first divulged. Two of the boys are in custody. It’s not clear what happened to the third.

Here’s the sickening thing: The people who should have been asking tough questions — like, you know, mainstream journalists — have spent more time attacking local whistleblowers and bloggers than they have spent demanding answers and holding public officials accountable.

Why? Consider the backdrop. Residents in Twin Falls have been worried about the impact of an increasing influx of refugees, many from jihad-coddling countries, over the past several years. Their concerns about crime, welfare, health care, and schools echo those of communities across the country who are bearing the coercive brunt of Beltway bleeding hearts’ refugee resettlement policies enacted in a shroud of secrecy.

Members of the Twin Falls City Council smugly likened refugee resettlement critics to “white supremacists.” Regional newspapers including the Idaho Statesman and the Spokane Spokesman-Review rushed to discredit the on-scene reporting of internet writers such as Leo Hohmann, who had interviewed a witness to the crime for World Net Daily.

“Jolene Payne, an 89-year-old retired nurse who lives at the complex” told Hohmann that she spotted one of the boys “taking pictures with a camera” outside the apartment complex’s laundry room. She went inside and found the 5-year-old naked with two of the younger boys naked standing over her. “The worst thing was the way they peed all over her clothes,” she recounted.

Pro-mass immigration advocates may not like the sources of some of the original reporting that forced the case into the sunlight, but the watchdogs got more right than wrong. These critics now have Twin Falls’ political leaders sputtering to cover their backsides and police brass defending themselves against explosive charges that they dragged their feet.

Instead, the “professional journalists” dwelt on a few early factual errors about whether the boys were from Syria and whether a knife was used — and filled their dismissive articles with “can’t we all just get along” propaganda from refugee resettlement advocates and contractors with vested financial interests in the game.

The callousness of local officials and indifference of local and national media reminds me very much of an international incident that went viral on YouTube earlier this year in the eastern German town of Bad Schlema — located in a region overrun by Muslim refugees.

A concerned grandfather whose granddaughter under the age of 10 was sexually harassed by Muslim migrants protested to mayor Jens Muller. In response to his plea for help, Muller told the elderly man to direct his family to “not walk in areas” where refugees would be.

“Just don’t provoke them and don’t walk in those areas.”

The grandfather lamented at the public meeting: “You’re not allowed to walk in your own city anymore.”

To which the jaded mayor replied: “This is the way it is.”

Thank goodness there are Americans still fighting against the collective shrug of sovereignty surrender. Louder, please.

Leftist Nightmare: Black Conservatives Running for Office

Someone passed on to me the latest video commentary by black conservative AlfonZo Rachel. Awesome! The brother boldly speaks the truth with humor, passion, and intelligence. I first met Zo about seven years ago.

His video caused me to reminisce about how we black conservatives have been out there on the front lines for many years, trying to wake up fellow blacks, encouraging them to liberate themselves from government and Democrat party slavery.

Some blacks are just plain stuck on stupid. Sorry, folks, but that's the truth. I have an idiot relative in mind. No matter what facts I show him about how blacks continue to suffer greatly due to Obama and democrat policies, his reply is I should be ashamed of myself for not supporting our black president.

Liberal mainstream media have done an excellent job keeping black conservatives off American's radar. Leftist's greatest fear is for the masses to hear blacks expressing love for their country; saying they don't hate or resent fellow Americans who are white; blacks who don't believe they are owed anything and believe they can succeed without democrats lowering standards or government intervention.

When I toured on Tea Party Express, CNN was embedded, producing a documentary. They were with us for at least 35 tea party rallies. I spoke and opened each rally singing my “American Tea Party Anthem.” Also traveling with us were various black conservative speakers, politicians, and authors. And yet, when CNN aired their documentary, not a single black participant was featured. CNN's sin of omission contributed to my dad believing the left's lie that the tea party movement is racist, a bunch of scary redneck white people.

As I stated, the liberal mainstream media have done a great job keeping black conservative sightings almost as rare as Bigfoot sightings. Race exploitation profiteers Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson are household names among blacks. Meanwhile, my dad and most blacks that I know never heard of black conservative national radio talk show host, entrepreneur and businessman extraordinaire Herman Cain until his brief presidential campaign.

Leftists claim to be advocates for blacks. Given the epidemic of black school dropouts, fatherless households, unemployment, and crime plaguing urban blacks, one would assume Leftists would celebrate Herman Cain as a role model of what can be achieved via hard work and right choices. Instead, Leftists (liberal media, NAACP, Congressional Black Caucus and so-called civil rights advocates) despise Herman Cain. Cain contradicts Leftist's storyline that America is racist and only voting for Democrats and total dependency on government can save blacks.

For years, the only black conservatives I knew of and heard on national media were Walter Williams, Dr. Thomas Sowell, and Mychal Massie of Project 21. I first met Mychal about six years ago and was pretty starstruck. Today, Mychal is a dear conservative friend, still fighting the good fight.

There's a new crop of black conservatives entering the political arena. It does my heart good hearing about young blacks who rejected drinking the Left's America-sucks-and-you're-entitled-to-other-peoples'-hard-earned-stuff Kool-Aid.

I am extremely excited to report that black conservative/Republican Darryl Glenn is running for the Colorado U.S. Senate seat. Glenn, endorsed by Ted Cruz, plans to knock off Democrat incumbent Senator Michael Bennet. Anything you can do to assist this rock-solid conservative is greatly appreciated.

A black conservative whom I greatly respect told me he dislikes adding race into the equation. He dislikes saying we need more black conservatives. He thinks we should say we need more conservatives. Period. While I see his point, the reality is the Left has made race an issue. They say if you're black and conservative, you are stupid, mentally ill, and a betrayer of your people. We need more black conservatives in office, in the high-profile big arena, spreading truth.

Niger's late dad was civil rights icon Roy Innis. Unlike the despicable race profiteers of today, Mr. Innis was a “for real” civil rights activist. I came across a debate on YouTube between Al Sharpton and Roy Innis on the Morton Downey Jr. TV show. It got so heated that Mr. Innis physically pushed Sharpton out of his chair.

While I have never seen Niger get up into a liberal's grill, he is the Left's worse nightmare; an articulate black upbeat advocate for conservatism; a politician, tea party activist and spokesperson.

I met sister Dr. Alveda King years ago when we were panelist at a DC press conference. I was a bit starstruck meeting the niece of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. As a black conservative activist, Alveda's calling and passion is centered around the issue of abortion. Blacks are aborting themselves into extinction.

Years ago at an event, a hostess approached me with a black conservative she wanted to introduce to me. He planned to run for congress. It was Col. Allen West. Wow, need I say more.

Black conservative powerhouse Star Parker is a former welfare cheat. You can imagine how upsetting it is to liberal Democrats to have lost her. Using her personal story, Star exposes how welfare dependency destroys black families.

There are numerous other black conservatives out there that have been spreading the good news of conservatism for a long time; underfunded and underexposed due to liberal mainstream media bias.

It took years, but I finally led my black brother to the light of conservatism. He had dinner with a group of black buddies. After one guy had a few adult beverages, he verbally attacked my brother for his conservative political views. “You're a white man! And I bet you're even a Republican!” My brother took out his voter registration card, held it up for them to see and proudly proclaimed, “You're right, I am a Republican.”

Folks, we black conservatives still have much work to do, breaking down old stereotypes and Democrat/liberal media lies and deceptions.

So Bill liar-Clinton met Attorney General Loretta Lynch privately Tuesday when the pair spent 30 minutes aboard her government airplane on the tarmac in Phoenix. Why does that matter?
          liar-Hilly Clinton, the presumptive Democrat nominee, is still under investigation by the FBI over her private email server. She almost certainly broke federal law regarding the handling of classified material. The FBI is under the direction of the Justice Department, which is headed by Lynch, who was chosen by Barack nObama. Lynch will ultimately decide whether any FBI recommendation of indictment against liar-Clinton actually go anywhere. Oh, that's why it matters.
          Will FBI Director James Comey conclude liar-Clinton broke the law and recommend an indictment? Will Lynch take that recommendation and actually press charges? Will liar-Clinton step or be pushed aside in favor of loose lips-Joe Biden? We suppose the answers to those questions depend in some measure on how well Bill schmoozed Loretta aboard that plane.
          Lynch says the meeting was "primarily social" and topics included his grandchildren, travel and golf, not the investigation or any other government business. Give us a break. The attorney general just happened to have an unscheduled private meeting with the spouse of an FBI suspect who wants to succeed the AG's boss and we're supposed to believe that never came up.
          Such corruption is par for the course with the liar-Clintons. Newly uncovered emails reveal that liar-Clinton's campaign communicated with her buddy and Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe on his plan to grant voting rights to 200,000 felons in time to turn Virginia blue this November. He was working with other leftist groups, too, not state election officials. The North America Leaders' Summit — or what the Investor's Business Daily editorial board aptly calls the "'Three Amigos' summit" — began Wednesday in Ottawa, Canada, and it involves that Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau along with Barack nObama and Mexico's Pena Nieto. According to the White House website, the trio is unveiling "[a] historic goal to achieve 50% clean power across North America by 2025."
          "The administration calls it 'ambitious,'" says Investor's. "We call it 'ludicrous.'" Here's why:
          "Since the U.S. accounts for three-quarters of the total energy produced by these three countries, the responsibility of living up to any such agreement would fall most heavily on the U.S. ... According to the Department of Energy's Energy Information Administration, 'clean energy' — nuclear, hydroelectric, solar, wind, biomass, etc. — makes up less than one-fifth of U.S. energy production. ... So the only way to get there would be to dramatically increase one or all of these sources in nine years."
          And even then, IBD elucidates, the problem becomes fourfold: 1. Ecofascists are opposed to an energy infrastructure that relies heavily on hydroelectric and nuclear power. 2. Even if America did decide to broaden its reliance on nuclear energy — and there are no plans to do so — the process for developing the infrastructure would take far longer than the White House's timeframe. 3. On the remaining options — wind, solar and biomass — "production levels from these sources would have to increase something like 470% in nine years for clean energy to account for half of the nation's energy production." Even the optimists would agree that's an unrealistic expectation. 4. A pledge may look great on paper, but will Canada and Mexico follow through? That's the trillion-dollar question.
          "For a guy who is desperately fishing around for something to claim as a legacy," IBD concludes, "President nObama's running around making promises that he knows will never be kept is an odd way to go about things." {jewishworldreview.com} ~ Many activists celebrate "Israel Apartheid Week" by agitating against the Jewish state at a rally or perhaps a roundtable discussion. This year Dore Gold, director general of Israel's Foreign Ministry, marked the occasion by visiting the government that replaced the apartheid regime in South Africa.

The symbolism is delicious. Here is a top diplomat from a country compared by its foes to the regime of P.W. Botha meeting in Pretoria with diplomats who helped to bring that regime down. Gold made sure to visit Nelson Mandela's home in Soweto, which is now a museum, in case the point was missed.

And yet many activists on both sides of this issue have been missing this point. First there is the movement to boycott, divest and sanction Israel, known as BDS. One of its founders, Omar Barghouti, wrote in January that a meeting of an Israeli Knesset committee to combat BDS revealed an "Israeli fear of isolation." In the absence of a peace process, BDS appears to have momentum as more and more academic associations, student governments and churches sign on to the campaign.

Then there is the counter-BDS movement. Earlier this month, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, D, announced he would divest his state's funds from businesses that engaged in the boycott of Israel, and even individuals who advocate for such boycotts. Other states are now considering similar laws and prominent Jewish philanthropists are funding efforts to BDS the BDS movement, so to speak.

Both sides of this fight give the impression that Israel is becoming a pariah. And yet BDS has failed as both an economic and diplomatic weapon. Consider that since 2006, when the movement began, Israel's gross domestic product has nearly doubled, going from a little over $154 billion to $299 billion for 2015.

Israel is also warming ties with countries all over the world, even as Europe and the U.S. are increasing the pressure over Jewish settlements in the West Bank.

Let's start with Africa. Next month, Benjamin Netanyahu will be the first Israeli prime minister since Yitzhak Rabin to travel to African capitals for meetings with the leaders of Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda and Uganda. Netanyahu's visit to Uganda is particularly significant because his brother was killed in Israel's raid on Entebbe in that country 40 years ago to free hostages kidnapped by German and Palestinian Marxists. Back then, Uganda's government gave refuge to terrorists; today it seeks Israel's help in fighting them.

Israel under Netanyahu is also expanding links with China, now the country's third-largest trading partner. Gold told me this week at his Foreign Ministry office that it's almost impossible to get a seat these days on the El Al flight from Tel Aviv to Beijing.

A similar story can be told about Israel's relationship with India, whose Narendra Modi is expected to be the first Indian prime minister ever to visit Israel later this year. As the Israelis increase defense trade with India, it has also begun to end some of its historic support for the Palestinians at the United Nations.

Then there is Russia. Netanyahu has met with President Vladimir Putin four times in the last year. He has also worked out a deal, according to senior officials who spoke to me on background, in which Russia will allow Israeli jets to target members of the terrorist group Hezbollah operating in Syria, where Russians now control the air space.

"The prime minister is cognitive of the fact that the United States is the number one ally," Gold told me. "But the relationship with Putin has vastly improved. Instead of being in conflict with him like we were, we are now making sure there is a line open to him."

Finally, Israel is repairing and enhancing relationships in the Middle East. In 2011, Turkey downgraded its ties following Israel's raid on a flotilla trying to breach the naval blockade of Gaza. This month, Turkey's foreign minister announced that his country was one or two meetings away from normalizing the relationship again.

There is also much secret diplomacy between Israel and the Gulf monarchies. Israel has had such contacts with Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates since the height of the peace process in the 1990s. But Gold told me there was an important difference between Israel's Arab diplomacy today and during the peace process years.

In the 1990s, Israel was allowed to open trade missions and begin contacts with Arab states because a process was in place to create a Palestinian state. During the second intifada of 2000-05, these openings closed. Now, Gold says, his diplomacy with the Arab states resembles the dynamics that created the predecessor of the European Union after the end of World War II.

"The European Union was formed because of a mutual threat from Soviet armored divisions," Gold said. Today, he argued, the Middle East faces the twin threats of Iran and the Islamic State, which "creates a lot of mutual interests between Israel and the Arab states."

Not everyone is convinced on this last point. In April, the Washington Institute for Near East Policy hosted a rare public conversation between retired Israeli general, Yaacov Amidror, and former a Saudi intelligence chief, Prince Turki al-Faisal. Despite the cordial environment, the Saudi prince made it clear that there would be no formal recognition of Israel until there was a just peace with the Palestinians.

Edward Djerejian, a former senior U.S. diplomat who directs the James A. Baker Institute for Public Policy at Rice University, agrees. "The Palestinian issue remains a central political issue that deters Israel's full integration in the region," he told me.

Nonetheless, the flow of diplomacy in the region is reversing. In the 1990s, Europe tried to persuade Israel's Arab neighbors to accept it. Today, Israel quietly collaborates with its Arab neighbors as European states threaten to distance themselves over the Palestinian issue.

This is why so many Israelis worry, despite the new outreach to India, China, Russia and the Arab states. Yair Lapid, the leader of a major centrist party here, this year said his country had never been as isolated as it is today.

Ksenia Svetlova, a former journalist and Labor Party member of Knesset who serves on its foreign affairs committee, stressed this point as well. She told me she was more concerned with how Europe and America viewed Israel than she was with Turkey, Russia or Saudi Arabia. "We can have great tactical relations with non-democratic countries, Egypt is the proof," she said. "But the true bond will always be with other countries that act like us and share our values."

Put another way, Israel's new friends are no substitute for its old ones.

House Democrats released their own 339-page Benghazi prebuttal ahead of the forthcoming final bipartisan report from the House Select Committee on Benghazi, which was released Tuesday. Naturally, Democrats absolved Barack nObama and liar-Hilly Clinton of all responsibility and declared that Republicans are on a partisan witch-hunt. "We have been hampered in our work by the ongoing Republican obsession with conspiracy theories that have no basis in reality," they write. "Rather than reject these conspiracy theories in the absence of evidence — or in the face of hard facts — Select Committee Republicans embraced them and turned them into a political crusade."
          There's plenty of blame to go around for security failures before and during the attack. But as readers of these pages recall all too well, the most important point regarding this fiasco is the nObama/liar-Clinton political narrative. It's about what decisions were based on the political implications.
          Four Americans, including Ambassador Chris Stevens, were killed by al-Qaida jihadis in Benghazi on Sept. 11, 2012 — a rather key date. They were abandoned by their superiors in a chaotic state created by foreign policy failure in Libya. Yet nObama and liar-Clinton publicly insisted the attack was a spontaneous protest caused by a YouTube video — even though liar-Clinton admitted privately it was al-Qaida. They told this political fable because nObama was running for re-election on the narrative of having killed Osama bin Laden and having decimated al-Qaida. Those shenanigans are the hard facts of the nObama/liar-Clinton political crusade. And indeed, liar-Clinton is still lying as she too seeks the White House.
          In the Democrats' report about Benghazi, the word "Republican" is mentioned 200 times. Even more bafflingly, "Trump" is in there 23 times. "liar-Clinton" is named the most at 334, but that's almost entirely defensive. The bottom line is that Democrats are circling the wagons for their presumptive nominee. Moving from big-government Massachusetts to rural Maine in 1977, I quickly learned that local control was prized. There was, for example, a movement to withdraw my new town of Lovell from the Maine School Administrative District #72 which it had joined only a few years before. Lovell had run its own schools for a century and a half and bristled under the new bureaucracy. There had been a choice of three high schools: Fryeburg Academy, Gould Academy, or Bridgton Academy, but no more. I was Director of Special Education, a district-wide job requiring me to travel around to six elementary and junior high schools to supervise staff. The position was created because of a federal mandate and it was all about meetings, paperwork, phone calls, paperwork, and more meetings.

The new district borrowed to build the New Suncook School in Lovell. It wasn’t paid off yet so that was an issue in Lovell’s pulling out. It was overcrowded already and just down the street was the old, unused Annie Heald School, a wooden building owned by the town. The superintendent asked me to attend a Lovell Budget Committee meeting to inquire about the district leasing it. I was new in town, so I introduced myself and made the pitch. The Yankee Republicans who dominated the committee in those days looked at me silently for nearly a full minute after I was done. “Any questions?” I asked. One older guy with sharp eyes and arms folded across his chest said, “Yeah, I have a question.”

“Ten years ago, when the superintendent wanted Lovell to join this new district, he said the Annie Heald School was a firetrap and they had to build a new school. Now, after the old school has been sitting there for ten years with nothing done to it, they say they want to use it again?”

“Good question,” I said. I had no idea about any of that and felt that I’d been set up. Locals believed they’d been manipulated by the “bigger is better” argument bureaucrats use, and maybe they had. The effort to pull out failed though, because people like me with young families were moving up from Massachusetts and other states. We thought ourselves better educated and believed bigger was better too. I do not believe that anymore.

Shortly after, I was elected a selectman and served with two Yankee Republicans who thought Lovell people knew what was best for Lovell, that their judgement was better than the state’s or the federal government’s and they could govern themselves more effectively if they were left alone. After nine years I became convinced they were right, and that was one of the realizations pushing my political perspective from the big-government left to the small-government right where it has been ever since.

I supervised two federal programs — Title I and Special Education. Since then, the feds have taken over the school lunch program and now curriculum as well. More tax revenue goes to Augusta and Washington and what little comes back has strings attached — most recently, regulations concerning transgenders in locker rooms and bathrooms.

Back then, I was one of only three administrators and two secretaries in a district with 1200 students K-8. Now there are Now there are 1160 students but double the administrators, way more secretaries, way more teachers, much bigger buildings, much more paperwork, many more meetings, and a much bigger budget. Is there more learning going on for all that? After thirty-four years teaching in the district, I have to say no, and I could make a strong case that there’s actually less.

The federal government has also taken over health care — doing about the same with that as they have with schools. Working with the United Nations, the feds are planting refugees all over the country — a hundred here, five hundred there — often without informing local cities and towns they’re coming. Students in Manchester, NH schools speak 82 different languages, a severe strain. The mayor there has asked the feds to stop but they won’t. Washington knows what’s best for Manchester. When Lewiston, Maine’s mayor said his city couldn’t accept any more Somali refugees, big government liberals called him a racist. There are similar problems in Portland, where one out of seven people are foreign born.

Similar problems have been plaguing the UK and other EU countries for decades, and they were a major factor in the Brexit vote. Big government elites running the EU say the UK should take still more refugees. Ordinary Brits want local control and last week they shocked the elites by voting to leave the EU. More countries will follow. As liberal elites push for more central government power, ordinary citizens are pushing back.

 Military Readiness and nObama's Transgender Decree  The battle over what accommodations to make for the transgendered has been raging for the last couple of years. Barack nObama's social engineering of the military has been ongoing since Jan. 20, 2009. By the end of this week, the two fronts will converge, as nObama will lift the ban on transgendered service members.
          In December 2010, Barack nObama signed the repeal of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell," the Pentagon policy (signed by Bill Clinton) prohibiting open homosexuals from serving in the military. After a year of contrived review, transgendered individuals will likewise be able to serve openly as of July 1, 2016 — and announcement made during "LGBT Pride Month" and just in time for Independence Day.           Defense Secretary Ash Carter announced last year that the ban would be lifted unless a review revealed doing so would have "adverse impact on military effectiveness and readiness." It will have adverse consequences, but nObama had no intention of ever admitting it, stubbornly going full speed ahead with his "fundamental transformation" of our nation.
          We face threats from the Islamic State, as well as Russia and China on the rise, and nObama's focused on socially engineering the military. Maybe those three geopolitical threats are shaking in their boots knowing that Bradley can become "Chelsea" and still wear the uniform, but we seriously doubt it.
          All humans have inherent, God-given dignity and should be treated with respect, but that doesn't mean undermining national security for the celebration of mental illness. And make no mistake: nObama's objective isn't about dignity, and it's most certainly not about what makes our military a more effective fighting force. It's about making the normalization of homosexuality a matter of law in regard to Defense Department personnel, practices and policy — all in an effort to pander to female Democrat voters in an election year.  -The Patriot Post

 TransCanada Sues Over Keystone Politics 
Barack nObama's November Keystone rejection was a decision marred with corruption, deceit and outright lies. Economically — and, yes, even environmentally — there simply was no good reason to bury the project. Lo and behold, just as Keystone advocates predicted, the oil pipeline that could be helping to propel the U.S. economy is now closer to heading overseas.
          But TransCanada isn't going to let the nObama administration off the hook for its gerrymandering that cost the company considerable monetary losses. On Friday, the company launched a $15 billion lawsuit in which the U.S. is charged with violating the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA). TransCanada alleges, "None of [the] technical analysis or legal wrangling was material to the administration's final decision. Instead, the rejection was symbolic and based merely on the desire to make the U.S. appear strong on climate change, even though the State Department had itself concluded that denial would have no significant impact on the environment."
          The company is absolutely right, and the trial should be cut and dry. As Bloomberg reported, TransCanada contends it "had every reason to believe it would win approval to build Keystone XL." Unfortunately, politics — namely, the Paris Climate Accord that passed in December — got in the way.
          Meanwhile, the Democrat Party is restructuring its platform to include a formal provision that facilitates the nObama administration's witch hunt against skeptics of man-made "climate change." Also on Friday, a committee agreed to language that states, "Democrats ... respectfully request the Department of Justice investigate allegations of corporate fraud on the part of fossil fuel companies accused of misleading shareholders and the public on the scientific reality of climate change." They may want to rethink that position.
          Imagine how much progress America could make if Democrats spent time debating things that actually matter (like how to systematically dismantle Islamic militants). Good for TransCanada for taking them to task.  -The Patriot Post

nObama's money and Israel's sovereignty

{jewishworldreview.com} ~ This week, Israeli parliment member (MK) Michael Oren stood up to his boss in the Kulanu party, Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon, to the political Left, including hundreds of retired security brass, and to the IDF General Staff. The former ambassador to Washington urged Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu not to sign the multi-year security assistance deal that US President Barack nObama demands Israel accept.

The problem isn’t the money. By all accounts, nObama’s multi-year military assistance package is generous.

The problem is that in exchange for the expanded military aid, nObama is demanding that Israel surrender its diplomatic and military independence to the White House.

For more than 40 years, every US administration – including the nObama administration – that has sought to harm Israel in any way has hit up against an unmovable obstacle. Whether the White House wanted to enable the UN Security Council to pass an anti-Israel resolution, place an embargo on military exports or bureaucratically slow them down to force Israel to stand down during wartime; whether the White House wanted block expanded trade deals, crowd out Israel’s military industries, or sell game changing weapons systems to Israel’s enemies, the US Congress has always stopped it in its tracks.

Israel-haters in the US speak endlessly about the supposedly all powerful and malign “Israel lobby,” which controls US foreign affairs. But the simple truth is that it wouldn’t matter all that much if AIPAC were to shut down tomorrow. Even without AIPAC, Israel would enjoy the support of Congress.

It would continue to enjoy that support because the vast majority of Americans support Israel and expect their representatives in Congress to support Israel.

In other words, the “Israel lobby” is none other than the American people.

As Oren warned, nObama’s military assistance package would disenfranchise the American public when it comes to US policy toward Israel. The agreement bars Israel from asking that Congress augment the assistance that nObama has offered and bars Congress from acting. So if a future administration chooses to breach the agreement, or to suspend it, or if conditions change and Israel requires other assistance, Congress would be barred from stepping into the breach.

Then there is the assistance agreement’s assault on Israel’s military independence.

Israel’s military industries are the primary guarantor of its independent capacity to fight and win wars.

Successive administrations have sought to restrict the activities of Israel’s military industries and have used the military assistance to achieve their goal.

Israeli critics of US assistance note that Israel’s military industries are the primary casualties of the aid.

Currently, the US allows Israel to use a mere 25 percent of its assistance at home. As a consequence, the main beneficiary of US military assistance to Israel are US defense contractors.

Critics of the US aid argue that if Israel stops receiving military assistance, far from harming the economy, the move would strengthen Israeli industry and expand economic growth. The thousands of jobs at US defense contractors that are created through US military assistance to Israel, will move to Israel, and go to Israelis.

Moreover, whereas Israel gives the US its technology for free as part of the security assistance package, if it stops accepting the assistance, it will be free to sell its technology to other partners such as India, which will eagerly partner with Israel in weapons development and production projects.

Strategically, canceling the US military aid package would massively expand Israel’s military independence of action.

On the other hand, the deal that nObama is now trying to coerce Netanyahu to sign will require Jerusalem to give up the 25 percent of the military assistance it is now allowed to spend at home. Oren noted that such a concession will cost thousands of Israelis their jobs.

But even worse, an Israeli agreement to spend all future US military assistance in the US would be tantamount to an Israeli agreement to concede its military independence to the White House for a fistful of dollars. Without the independent capacity to develop and produce defense systems, spare parts and munitions, Israel will be unable to take military action without White House approval.

nObama’s own record makes clear what Israel would be risking.

Two years ago during Operation Protective Edge, nObama initiated an unofficial embargo on missile transfers to Israel. In an act of economic warfare, nObama also temporarily banned US commercial flights from traveling to Ben-Gurion Airport and so threatened the economy. nObama undertook these steps as a means to coerce Israel into accepting Hamas’s cease-fire terms.

Aside from nObama’s terms themselves, the most distressing aspect of the current fight over nObama’s defense deal is that the IDF senior brass – in active duty and reserves – supports nObama.

This support goes hand in hand with a series of actions taken by current and former senior security officials in recent months and weeks. Taken together, they strengthen the unpleasant and distressing conclusion that the nObama administration has unreasonably close ties to Israel’s security establishment and is using them to undermine the elected government.

Since last month, retired IDF general officers have produced two major position papers dealing with various aspects of a future Israeli withdrawal from Judea, Samaria and Jerusalem. Their most notable common feature is that they both reflect the nObama administration’s policies on the Palestinian conflict with Israel.

The first paper, “Security First,” was produced by a group called Commanders for Israel’s Security. With the signatures of more than 200 retired generals, and recently endorsed by former prime minister and defense minister Ehud Barak, the CIS paper calls for Israel to announce that it is ending its claims to sovereign rights over Judea and Samaria. It also calls for Israel to take a number of unilateral steps in Judea, Samaria and Jerusalem in order to show the Palestinians that it is serious about surrendering the areas in the framework of a peace deal with the PLO.

Among other things, the generals call for Israel to administratively divide Jerusalem. The Arab neighborhoods should be administered by an Arabs-only municipal authority that will operate within Jerusalem’s city hall but be autonomous in its decisions.

The generals also call for a complete cessation of all building activities in Israeli communities in Judea and Samaria outside the separation barrier. Residents of these communities, they recommend, should be pressured to abandon their homes in exchange for government money.

The second paper was prepared by the Washington- based Center for a New American Security. CNAS is led by former senior nObama administration officials.

“A Security System for the Two-State Solution” was authored by leading members of US Gen. John Allen’s team of advisers. In 2013, Secretary of State hanoi-John Kerry hired Allen to prepare a security plan that would convince the Israeli government and public to surrender the Jordan Valley in the framework of a peace deal with the Palestinians. The public, and the government rejected his recommendations.

Among the paper’s co-authors are Maj.-Gen. (res.) Gadi Shamni, the former IDF attaché to Washington, and Nimord Novik, Shimon Peres’s former chief of staff. Novik also played a central role in writing the “Security First” paper.

In 2013-2014, Shamni raised a lot of Israeli eyebrows when it was reported Allen had hired him to serve on his team. Shamni’s closest point man in his work for Allen was hanoi-Kerry’s lead negotiator Martin Indyk. Indyk viewed Shamni’s presence on the team as a means to subvert public opinion. Indyk sought to recruit other retired IDF generals to work with Shamni to lobby Israelis to support Allen’s plan, which required Israel to surrender its control over the border with Jordan

The CNAS report essentially parrots Allen’s plan.

Like Allen’s plan, the CNAS plan claims to provide security arrangements that will provide for Israel’s defense even after it withdraws from the Jordan Valley, and the rest of Judea and Samaria.

To this end, the report purports to “Build a multilayered system that addresses Israel’s security concerns and in which Israel retains the right of self-defense as well as the capacity to defend itself by itself, but ensures that this is only necessary in extremis.”

And who determines whether Israel has reached such an extreme situation? The Americans will. The basic premise of the CNAS paper is that the US military will replace the IDF as the guarantor of Israel’s survival.

US forces will patrol the Jordan Valley along with Palestinian forces, which they will train.

More important, the Americans will stand at the helm of a security committee composed of Israelis, Palestinians and Jordanians. The Americans will dictate the tempo of Israeli withdrawals from Judea and Samaria, including from the international border with Jordan. If Israel believes that the Palestinians are not able or willing to maintain security in the areas that Israel is to vacate, and the Americans disagree, Israel will be forced to withdraw despite its objections.

If it fails to do so, or if it acts militarily against US objections, it will lose US diplomatic backing.

Shamni’s paper, like nObama’s defense assistance deal, is based on one strategic assumption: That Israel can trust the administration – any administration that ever will be – so much that its best bet is to give up its diplomatic and strategic independence in exchange for American weapons and nObama’s promises. Moreover, it can commit its survival to the proposition that the US is strategically infallible.

On that point, it is worth noting that this week, terrorists whose affiliation was not reported detonated a car bomb along Jordan’s border with Iraq and Syria.

Six people were killed.

The affected area has been the site of several recent attacks by Iranian-allied forces. As J.E. Dyer has noted, Iran seeks to use its control over the Iraqi army’s campaign against ISIS in Falluja as a stepping stone in its westward expansion into Jordan.

In response to the attack, the Jordanian military declared the northern and eastern border areas closed military zones.

In the CNAS report, the threat posed to Israel from the east through Jordan is casually dismissed. While the authors allow that such a threat exists in theory, they insist that an attack from the east is “much less likely since the fall of Saddam Hussein.”

Revealing the unity of purpose between the CIS and CNAS, both were presented in New York earlier this month at an event sponsored by the far-left Israel Policy Forum. The forum is considered a major player today due to its intimate ties to Democratic presidential candidate liar-Hilly Clinton.

Shamni and his colleagues admitted, “Persuading Israelis to entrust part of their security to the United States will be one of the most challenging hurdles to an agreement.”

Let us hope that it remains an insurmountable obstacle.

Opening them even wider to allow tens of thousands more illegals into our already financially strapped, and economically stagnant, country from latin America to the terrorist rat's nests in the MidEast.   And, in the same manner that the Obama admn had engineered Operation Fast & Furious, where federal agents purchased guns from gun stores stateside, to sell them to the Mexican drug cartels, where they'd eventually be used on our side of the border, w/ the intention of advancing ever stricter their gun restriction laws and regulations - w/ the sole goal of completely eradicating the Second Amendment all together, was what I believe the intention w/ the Obama admn's KNOWLEDGE of who Omar Mateen really was PRIOR to the mass massacre in Orlando, Florida. The dems had sacrificed at least FIFTY lives in their attempts to  advance their anti-Second Amendment agenda.

Now, in the "right" corner, the so called "conservative" columnist, George Will, had announced his leaving the GOP - because the Trump is the presumed nmoniee. It looks to me that Will's behavior, which is in lockstep w/ the American side of the global machine, is actually about how the American people are disrupting the well established political  order of things.  Just like w/ the EU, the order being - the elitist / oligarchy is at the tippy top. Only THEY can set the rules; and EVERYONE else is expected to obey and respect the pecking order - period!  These GOP sorts are the very same ones that have sworn to vote for Hillary before they'd ever circle around the Trump; or, especially, a Cruz.  It may just be the one promise that the GOP progressive-machine will keep.

Meanwhile, back over the pond,the "upper crust" of the EU had clamored for a re-vote on Brexit. Fortunately, the UK's PM Cameron, has put a stop to it. Although I doubt that he'll do anything to expedite the UK's separation from the EU. And, like true all-govt-progressives that the Euro-machine is, they will play every dirty trick in the book to try to stoo it from happening - and they will deter other EU nations from doing the same. And, how does the EU machine intend to do that?  Well, they call it an "Ultimatum"...

Here is wisdom.  The deceptive catalyst being used to nake the USA a full member of the globalist EU is w/ a "climate change" treaty.  It was attempted aerlier during Obama's first term w/ the Copenhagen Accord.  Even then a number of GOP members were on board!  Big surprise, huh!.  

The only reason that I can see as to why that globalist treaty wasn't fiercely pursued and passed by the all democrat dominated WH and Congress was because their focus was solely on passing Obamacare.  Not to mention the heavy pressure the GOPers were getting thru the protests that had formed across the country by the grassroots population then referred to as the TEA party movement.  The GOP had 2010 n their mind.  Thus, they made all sorts of promises to get them, or keep them, in office.  Since the masses where so ignorant about the real consequences lurking behind the veil of the "climate change" treaty  (aka Copenhagen Accord), the GOP's support pf it went unnoticed. It didn't get the exposure that the Obamacare debate was getting. Thus, sending the GOPers  running for the hills. Well, at least till the elections were over anyway.  One thing's for certain, the self proclaimed "world citizen" Barack Hussein Obama's promise of a "transparent" govt ended the moment he was first sworn in to Office.  The same can be said about Boehner and the others of the establishment as well.

Make no mistake about it.  There's been quite a few GOPers that have been on board w/ the globalization of the USA going back to George HW Bush (41).  Now, what does that mean in layman's termss?   Just look at what the EU elite intend to do w/ th its member-nations. It  is what this "American" govt intends to do w/ US:  The eradcation of our 1st and 2nd Amendment Rights. The disolving of our immigration laws; and stopping even the very States from any efforts to enforce the Constitutional laws regarding our borders.  In other words, the very destruction of our INDIVIDUAL Freedom; our Liberty; and our very sovereignty as a nation.  

Obama's promise of "fundamental transformation" of the United States, w/ the help of the progressive members of the GOP, as well as the ignorance or the full knowledge of and blessing by this pro socialist American culture, is almost complete.

 The Shock Heard Round the World 
The British declared independence from the 28-nation European Union Thursday in a surprise outcome to the referendum known as "Brexit." Prime Minister David Cameron, who supported the "Remain" side but took a gamble in calling for a referendum, made his own Brexit. He announced his resignation saying, "The country requires fresh leadership." Global markets collapsed and the British pound fell to a 30-year low.
          There are now many questions. How long until markets recover? How will Great Britain's fifth-largest-in-the-world economy fare on its own? How will this affect the EU, now that Germany is clearly the strongest nation remaining? Will Scotland hold another referendum on leaving the UK two years after the last one failed? That referendum failed largely because the Scots wanted to remain in the EU. How will the U.S. relationship with Britain change? After all, Barack nObama pushed for the UK to remain in the EU and even threated our best ally with back-of-the-queue status on trade if they left.
          A couple of observations. After a pro-Remain member of Parliament was politically murdered last week, it appeared Remain would prevail. But Leave pulled away in what is perhaps a sign that voters don't always share politically incorrect sentiments with pollsters. They said one thing and then voted according to what they really thought — and that was to tell the EU and its leftist bureaucrat-run "utopia" where to go.
          As the Heritage Foundation's Nile Gardiner put it, "The vote for Brexit is a vote for sovereignty and self-determination. Britain will no longer be subject to European legislation, with Britain's Parliament retaking control. British judges will no longer be overruled by the European Court of Justice, and British businesses will be liberated from mountains of EU regulations, which have undermined economic liberty." How might that affect our own election this year?
          Indeed, that brings us to the other thought: Let's hope nObama does for liar-Hilly Clinton what he did for the Remain vote. There is a powerful and growing sentiment against centralized control, whether it be among our British cousins or our fellow Americans. Elites beware.

 Nearly Half of Released Criminal Aliens 
 Became Repeat Offenders  Say what? Another agency caught duping Americans? Shocking, we know, but that's standard procedure under this administration. According to a new report from the Federation for American Immigration Reform, "Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) records ... show that the agency grossly misrepresented — by almost tenfold — the number of subsequent offenses committed by criminal aliens it released from custody onto the streets in FY 2014."
          This obviously wasn't just some rounding error. ICE claims that it decided to release 30,588 criminal aliens in FY 2014, of which 1,423 became repeat offenders. That's bad enough, but not nearly as bad as the actual number of repeat offenders — 13,288. Put another way, a whopping 43% of released criminals recommitted crimes. Even worse, says FAIR, "It is important to note that not all criminal charges result in convictions. Thus, the number of offenses committed by criminal aliens ICE turned loose is likely significantly greater." Indeed, and how many other criminals simply haven't been caught yet?
          These weren't just aliens with petty offenses, either. FAIR says, "The list of convictions for offenses committed by criminals ICE did not deem worthy of deportation in FY 2014 includes: homicide, kidnapping, assault, sexual assault, drunk driving, and other offenses."
          When you hear stories like this, you can at least begin to understand the appeal of a biometric exit program, which the Department of Homeland Security is making plans to enact as a means of gathering data on foreigners with expired visas who remain in the United States. The merits are iffy, and the media once ridiculed a similar idea offered by a certain former Republican presidential candidate, but it's easy to see why so many Americans are sick of being lied to, and why Donald Trump's simple and repetitive promise to build a wall is so powerful. 
 A Texas-Sized VA Scandal 
The increasingly frivolous Department of Veterans Affairs is closer than ever to becoming perennially incapable of getting its ducks in a row. The latest example of negligence comes from an "anonymous allegation" submitted to the VA Office of Inspector General concerning the Michael E. DeBakey Veterans Affairs Medical Center, located in Houston, Texas. In a June 20 report, the IG probe exposed more of the same old story: "We substantiated that two previous scheduling supervisors and a current director of two CBOCs [Community Based Outpatient Clinics] instructed staff to incorrectly record cancellations as canceled by the patient [emphasis added.]"
          The report says that "223 appointments" were "incorrectly recorded as patient cancellations during the July 2014 through June 2015 time frame." Additionally, "Of the 223 appointment cancellations, staff rescheduled 94 appointments (42 percent) beyond 30 days. For these 94 appointments, veterans encountered an average 81-day wait, which was 78 days longer than shown in the electronic scheduling system. We found that wait times were understated about 66 days for 50 appointments (22 percent) when they were initially scheduled."
          What was it Barack nObama once said? "We're not going to stop working to make sure that they get the care, the benefits and the opportunities that they've earned and they deserve. I said we wouldn't tolerate misconduct, and we will not. I said that we have to do better, and we will." That was in May 2014 — more than two years ago. What's his excuse now?
          Add to this the possibility that disgraced former VA Director Sharon Helman could be rehired, and the situation becomes downright surreal. Explaining the Israeli Left

{truthrevolt.org} ~ Over the past few days, two incidents occurred which together, tell us the story of the Israeli Left.

Monday night, Channel 10 revealed that the Labor Party has no regard for Israel’s national interests.

Channel 10 disclosed that ahead of the 2015 Knesset elections, Labor – and now Zionist Union – leader MK Yitzhak Herzog engaged in private negotiations with PLO chief and Palestinian Authority leader Mahmoud Abbas. During the course of their meetings, Herzog signed a letter, which he sent to Abbas.
Among other things, in the letter Herzog pledged that a government under his leadership will withdraw from all of Judea and Samaria, partition Jerusalem, surrender Israel’s security control over the Jordan Valley, permit the immigration of Palestinian “refugees” into the post-withdrawal rump Jewish state, and place Israel’s counterterror operations under the control of a joint Israeli-Jordanian-Palestinian security committee.

Abbas for his part, agreed to a “symbolic” Israeli security presence in the Jordan Valley.

Whether Abbas agreed to Herzog’s offer is unclear.

But it is also unimportant.

Herzog, as opposition leader, has no authority to negotiate on behalf of Israel. And Abbas knows it. So even if he did agree to Herzog’s terms, his agreement is meaningless.

Abbas can agree to whatever he wants in the framework of pretend negotiations with pretend Israeli leaders. None of his statements bind him.

Herzog didn’t deny the report. Rather he said he held his private talks with the PLO chief in an effort to prevent a new Palestinian terror wave. In other words, Herzog surrendered Jerusalem, and signed the eviction notices of hundreds of thousands of law abiding Israeli citizens to appease Abbas, lest he set off a new terror war against Israel.

Herzog added ruefully, that his efforts failed.

Again, translated into normal language, Herzog admitted that Abbas went ahead and issued the kill orders against Israelis, despite Herzog’s efforts to forestall them by making an unauthorized offer to give Jerusalem to a murderer.

Abbas hasn’t survived as the unelected leader of a terrorist group and of the PA for the past 12 years because he’s stupid. Abbas knows what he is doing when he “negotiates” with the likes of Herzog. He’s been running so-called “Track 2” negotiations with Herzog and his colleagues and predecessors on the Left for more than twenty years.

Abbas has repeatedly engaged in phony negotiations with Herzog and his ilk because it serves his interest to do so.

Israeli leftists are critical partners in the PLO’s political war against Israel.

The goal of the PLO’s political war is to criminalize the Jewish state by castigating it as the “occupier” and “settlement builder” that blocks all efforts to achieve peace.

By agreeing that the elected government is recalcitrant, the Israeli Left proves Abbas’s point.

By reaching phony deals with Abbas, these leaders absolve him of all responsibility for the absence of peace.

The most obvious reason that Herzog and his colleagues engage in these operations is because they believe that weakening the elected government strengthens them. They see Israel’s national interests not as something common to all the country’s citizens, but as chips to be gambled away in their bid for political power.

Joining the PLO’s political war against Israel, they believe, improves their chances of beating Likud and the other right-wing parties at the ballot box.

But there is another – equally, if not more powerful -- reason that Herzog and his fellow leftists openly subvert the government and carry out unauthorized and arguably illegal phony peace talks with the PLO.

They are motivated by hatred.

The Israeli Left doesn’t merely view itself as the political rival of the Right. They view themselves as engaged in a life and death struggle with right wingers – and particularly the national religious camp. And this death struggle is not based on political calculations. It is based on pure, irrational and uncontrollable hatred.

Which brings us to the second big story about the Israeli Left.

Saturday night, Ofer Newman, who serves both as Herzog’s personal spokesman and as spokesman for the Zionist Union, published a post on Facebook that most Nazis would be comfortable signing on to.

Newman called Jews who live in Judea and Samaria, “lowly murderers.”

He said that Israelis living beyond the 1949 armistice lines, “are destroying our future.”

Arguing for the mass imprisonment of the Jews who live beyond the 1949 armistice lines Newman wrote in a manner that echoes medieval blood libels, they “built houses at the expense of our friends’ blood. They built swimming pools on the blood of murdered children.

They built cemeteries because they don’t care.”

“What kind of distorted moral foundation enabled these people to march forward towards the deaths of thousands of Israelis with no one there to say, ‘That’s enough. You are despicable murderers. You belong in jail!’” After Newman’s remarks were publicized, Herzog said he yelled at him and Newman said he didn’t mean it.

But of course he did.

So did Channel 10s news anchor Oshrat Cotler, when she said last week that the so-called settlers “are crazy.”

When her remarks caused an uproar, she corrected herself, noting that not all so-called settlers are crazy, some are sane. Which was nice.

The Left’s boundless, unhinged hatred for the religious Right, along with its continuous subversion of the national interest in order to advance its bid for power has caused Israel enormous, strategic damage.

The entire initiative to withdraw from Gaza, and destroy the Israeli towns and villages in the area while expelling their predominantly religious Zionist residents was predicated on a desire not to advance national security, but to destroy the religious Right.

Haaretz and other leading leftist voices admitted openly that endangering the country by surrendering Gaza, along with Gaza’s border with Egypt, to terrorists was a small price to pay for destroying the religious Zionist movement.

A month before the August 2005 expulsions, Haaretz published an editorial, which explained that it really didn’t matter whether Israel’s security was damaged by the withdrawal.

The real question,” the paper argued, “is not how many mortar shells will fall, or who will guard the Philadelphi Route between Gaza and Egypt, or whether the Palestinians will dance on the roofs of the destroyed communities.

“The real question is who sets the national agenda. The disengagement of Israeli policy from its religious fuel is the real disengagement currently on the agenda. On the day after the disengagement, religious Zionism’s status will be different.”

Israel has fought three wars with the Palestinians and one with Hezbollah since that withdrawal. Hundreds of soldiers and civilians have been killed. Thousands have been wounded.

Whereas 25,000 Israelis lived within range of Palestinian mortars and rockets from Gaza in July 2005, today Hamas’s missiles have a range covering nearly all of Israel.

Today we are subjected to daily claims by Leftist politicians, activists and their media partners that Israelis are tired of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu. His days in power are over. The “public” now sees that the Left is the only side that brings hope so it behooves the government to listen to the “public” and let the Left rule for a change.

But the reality for many of us is that until this monstrosity affects someone you personally know it becomes someone else’s problem…not yours. So now let me tell you a story about someone many of us know, but before I reveal his name it must be understood that his story is indeed ‘everyman’s’ story now that ObamaCare is the law of the land.

Beware of pollsters

The reliability of polling companies and others should be highly suspect.   The recent "national " poll I just read was by the ABCNews and Washington Post.   Very conservative organizations !  They had Hillary ahead of Trump by about 12%.    Another poll result had Trump ahead of Hillary in a state.

It seems to me to question and maby disbelieve any poll by- 1. Any university, 2. Any newspaper,3. Just who were called ?   Call 1000 people and pose the question a certain way,call only people  in a big city as opposed to farmland people, and your results will be very different.

And the people called may lie.  They may not vote.   Giving an opinion of like does not mean the vote will ever be cast.

Therefore....disbelieve most polls.

 Democrats Stage a 'Sit-In' to Deny Civil Rights 
The Second Amendment is, in our estimation, the First Civil Right. In other words, the right of the people to keep and bear arms secures all other rights. So it's quite ironic to see people who stood for civil rights 50 years ago now taking a seat to protest against civil rights. That was the scene in Congress Wednesday as several House Democrats literally sat on the floor and demanded a vote to pass gun control measures. They propose to deny Second Amendment rights via trampling Fifth (and Sixth) Amendment Rights, and they claim the First Amendment as justification for the protest — all while singing the civil rights anthem "We Will Overcome." Republicans responded by calling a recess and shutting off C-SPAN cameras.
          The Leftmedia gleefully trumpeted the Democrats' "historic" moment, but we believe the word they're looking for is "histrionic."
          Rep. John Lewis (D-GA) staged sit-ins for civil rights in the 1960s. But he's completely blind to the irony of the present situation. Gun control began in the 1800s as a racist method of keeping guns out of the hands of blacks. You might even say those blacks were on government lists meant to deny their rights. Who else was on an FBI watch list? A gun-owning Martin Luther King Jr. Yet now a man who claims King's legacy, and declares on his website that he is "one of the most courageous persons the Civil Rights Movement ever produced," is using old methods to deny civil rights.
          By the way, did we mention that Lewis himself was once erroneously on a terror watch list? As Stephen Kruiser ponders, "Not only was he erroneously placed on the list, he couldn't get himself off of it quickly. At the time, Lewis had been in Congress for 27 years. If he couldn't get it cleared up quickly, what chance does an average citizen have?"
          Back in January, Barack nObama likewise had the gall to claim King's legacy — quoting the "fierce urgency of now" line — to pass gun control. Where was that "fierce urgency" when Democrats controlled the White House and all of Congress in 2009 and 2010? This is all exploitative politics for them, complete with immediate fundraising appeals based on the sit-in — because Democrats truly have no shame.

 State Department Disabled Its Security for 
 liar-Clinton's Email  In 2010, the State Department had a problem. Emails that Secretary of State liar-Hilly Clinton and her staff sent from her private email server were not getting through to the rest of the department operating on the official system. Trying to fix the problem, Ken LaVolpe, a senior technical official, informed State IT employees in December 2010, "This should trump all other activities." Finally, the tech wizards hit upon a solution: They disabled the software installed on the government's systems to prevent block phishing emails. Hackers and identity thieves use phishing emails to appear like they are from a trustworthy source to solicit sensitive information or place malware on someone's computer. No wonder it was also blocking liar-Clinton.
          But disabling the software left a door open for Russian and Chinese hackers to breach the State Department system. And get in they did. Last year news broke that State Department IT was struggling to eradicate Russian hackers in its email system, hackers that were able to infiltrate the White House's system as well. News at the time said the intrusion happened after liar-Clinton left. Perhaps State Department IT reinstalled the phishing blocking software by then. If not, it was yet another vulnerability thanks to liar-Clinton. Other vulnerabilities include liar-Clinton discussing the names of CIA operatives and details about the Special Access Program on her unsecured server.
          Meanwhile, in a deposition hearing Wednesday, liar-Clinton's own IT specialist Bryan Pagliano invoked the fifth over 125 times as he was questioned about liar-Clinton's email set up. Think the liar-Clinton machine has something to hide?   -The Patriot Post

 Trump Shows Just How Hard He'll Slam liar-Clinton  It was a pair of dueling speeches, really, attack and counter attack. On Tuesday, liar-Hilly Clinton feebly struck at Donald Trump's economic policies in an attempt to discredit the real estate mogul's past experience. The next day, Donald Trump made a speech designed to take on liar-Clinton's experience as secretary of state, her "best" résumé item for the presidency. "The liar-Hilly Clinton foreign policy has cost America thousands of lives and trillions of dollars — and unleashed ISIS across the world," said the presumed GOP nominee. "No secretary of state has been more wrong, more often and in more places than liar-Hilly Clinton. Her decisions spread death, destruction and terrorism everywhere she touched."
          As several commentators noted, this may very well be Trump's best strategy to unite the Republican Party after the divisive primary: Focus the firepower on liar-Clinton. Hot Air's Allahpundit writes, "If he had stuck to this message at his rallies and in his interviews over the last six weeks, there'd be no 'Dump Trump' contingent at the convention and his fundraising may well have taken off. Nothing unites the right, after all, like a forceful argument against the left."
          And there was plenty for Trump to slam — even without touching on the liar-Clintons' personal lives. "liar-Hilly Clinton has perfected the politics of personal profit and theft," Trump said. He even found fault in her campaign slogan: "Her campaign slogan is, 'I'm with her.' You know what my response to that is? I'm with you: the American people." By the time Trump is done with her, liar-Clinton's only accomplishment, if she's elected, will be that she's a woman. {townhall.com} ~ In the aftermath of the Orlando massacre, leftist voices are not only blaming conservative Christians for the tragedy, they are now calling on Christians to renounce their sacred beliefs and historic convictions, as if holding to a biblical definition of marriage leads to mass murder.

This is not only ridiculous and reprehensible. It is also logically absurd.

Consider these alternative scenarios.

Let’s say that for years, gay activists vilified conservative Christians in the ugliest ways, not only calling us bigots and hypocrites and equating us with Hitler, the Nazis, the Taliban, and ISIS, but also saying that we deserve to die, sending us death threats, posting death wishes on social media, and holding up posters at rallies with lines like, “Throw them to the lions!” For the record, this is not hypothetical. I can document every word of this in sickening detail.

Then, one Sunday morning, a radical Muslim of Iraqi descent barges into a church service and kills 49 worshipers, injuring 53 others before he is killed.

Are the gay activists to blame or is the radical Muslim to blame?

Obviously, the radical Muslim.

Are the gay activists complicit?

Of course not, despite their hatred and animosity.

What if conservative Christians turned to gay activists and said, “Can’t you see the damage your words have done? Can’t you see that your death threats helped produce this toxic, murderous environment? It’s time that you renounce your homosexuality!”

What would the reaction be from the gay community? One can only imagine.

Now let’s change the scenario a little.

This time, it’s outspoken atheists who have been vilifying conservative Christians, mocking their intelligence, belittling their God, scorning their Scriptures, and even claiming that is it child abuse for Christian parents to be able to teach the tenets of their faith to their own children. This, of course, has been happening for years as well.

After years of abusive atheistic comments, the radical Muslim barges into that Sunday church service and carries out his massacre.

Are the atheists to blame? Are they complicit in the attack? Do they bear some of the responsibility?

Of course not.

And could conservative Christians turn around and say to them, “Look at the damage you’ve done. It’s time you renounce your atheism and embrace Christianity”?

Obviously not.

Yet gay activists and their allies on the left are not only blaming Christians for the Orlando tragedy, they are telling us it’s time to change our beliefs. How utterly and completely absurd.

The fact is, my parallel scenarios were not even true parallels, since conservative Christians have not been engaging in hate speech against gays and lesbians. Note to the LGBT community: Just because you call something hateful doesn’t make it hateful.

We have not been calling for their murder God forbid!, and even the miniscule, fringe minority, of professing Christians who call for the death penalty for practicing homosexuals do not call for their murder. Note also that, as Christians, we oppose adultery, fornication, polygamy, and polyamory, but we don’t hate adulterers, fornicators, polygamists, or polyamorists, nor do we call for their death.

We have simply said that God designed men for women and women for men, that children deserve a mother and father, that homosexual practice is sinful, that a teenage boy shouldn’t be playing on the girls’ sports teams and sharing their locker rooms and shower stalls, and that a biological male is not a woman.

There is no hatred in these positions, no vilification of fellow-human beings, no calls for violence, no death threats or death wishes. Instead, there is a proclamation that all of us have sinned against God, that all of us are fallen and flawed to the very core of our beings, that all of us deserve death, and that, through Jesus, God wants to have mercy on all.

In a million years, no one could draw a logical or moral line between this message and the cold-blooded murder of gays and lesbians. Not in a million years.

What has happened is that Christians have pushed back against laws that we feel are unjust or unhelpful, especially laws that endanger our most fundamental national freedoms or that could potentially endanger our children.

In response, leftist activists have called us haters and bigots and worse. But that is simply their perception. I have documented this as well, demonstrating how gay websites have bashed Christian rallies and put ugly words on the mouths of the speakers, whereas in reality not a single speaker engaged in anything resembling hate speech.

So, we simply stand up for marriage and family and for freedoms of religion, conscience, and speech in response to a radical LGBT agenda to reshape our nation, and our opponents attack us in the most vile and even hysterical tone, equating us with ISIS and the like.

In other words, the so-called toxic environment which conservative Christians have allegedly created is largely the product of the interpretation put on our words by gay activists and their allies.

The toxicity is not coming from us, and we bear no more responsibility for the actions of a Muslim terrorist in Orlando than we bear for a Muslim terrorist in Falluja.

But there’s one more thing that needs to be addressed.

Followers of Jesus do not pick and choose what we believe. As Augustine once commented, “If you believe what you like in the gospels, and reject what you don't like, it is not the gospel you believe, but yourself.”

It’s not up to us to reinterpret a biblical truth because society doesn’t like it or because it’s considered out of fashion. It’s not up to us to tell the Creator what’s best for His creation or tell the Ruler of the universe how things on earth should go, nor is it our job to lecture the Judge of the world about justice.

And when it comes to homosexual practice, despite many attempts to rewrite the Bible, the verdict remains the same: 1) there is not a single positive reference to homosexual practice in the Bible; 2) every scriptural reference to homosexual practice is decidedly negative in the strongest of terms; 3) marriage is established as the lifelong union of one man and woman; 4) forgiveness and mercy are offered to all, homosexual and heterosexual alike.

Jonah Goldberg recently asked, “Why Can’t the Left Distinguish Conservative Christians from Islamic Terrorists?”

In my opinion, the answer is willful ignorance.

The leftists have embraced lies about conservative Christians for many years now and they are simply building on the foundation of those lies. Believers in Jesus and other conservatives better prepare well for the coming storm.

Obama's War on Seniors

Since 2009, the Obama Administration — whether intentionally or not — has been crippling the well-being of our senior citizens. Under the fiscal irresponsibility of Obama’s reign, inflation has risen by over 12%, leaving seniors on fixed incomes with less money in their wallets and purses. Last year, Obama’s budget deal extorted $150 billion from the Social Security trust fund in order to finance other areas of the budget. And now, Obama is planning his most egregious action yet — he wants to meddle with the elderly’s Medicare benefits and impose a hidden tax on their drugs.

Medicare Part D, better known as the Medicare prescription drug benefit, is a federal government program that subsidizes the costs of prescription drugs for Medicare beneficiaries.  While there is plenty for conservatives to not like about the program, it has at least brought free market prices back to the drug industry. Although Part D drugs are subsidized, prices are still determined through private negotiations between insurers and pharmaceutical companies. And, since the prices are negotiated through the private sector, costs have successfully spiraled downward. In fact, seniors can now often purchase drugs at a 30  percent discount from their originally marked prices. The cost-effectiveness of the drug benefit program has actually exceeded expectations —  to date, it has only cost taxpayers 55 percent of what it was originally budgeted for.

Although Medicare Part D has thrived under the restraints of private market forces, the White House is requesting that the public sector intervene in the program. In his recent budget proposal, President Obama asked that Congress repeal the non-interference provision, a clause which inhibits the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) from interfering in Medicare Part D price negotiations. 

Translation: Obama is asking Congress to price-fix Medicare Part D drugs. If this country’s last two generations of senior citizens have learned anything, it’s that price-fixing never works  — it always leads to problems, normally shortages of the given product. We saw this with food during World War II and gas during the Jimmy Carter Administration. By setting the price of these goods artificially low, demand skyrocketed, causing their supply to run out. 

Price-fixing is not something that we can afford to let happen in the drug industry. Senior citizens need their medicine — they are dependent on it for survival. Interfering with the free market in the drug industry is not just bad economics, it also jeopardizes the health and safety of millions.

But President Obama’s budget proposal won’t just price-fix drugs, it will also impose a hidden drug tax on senior citizens. Obama requested that pharmaceutical companies return up to 40 percent of their sales back to Medicare. Unfortunately, this “gift” to Social Security will result in drug makers selling their goods at a loss, causing them to peddle the difference onto consumers. Prices will rise, and seniors will have less money in their already cash-strapped pockets.

Clearly, the potential effects of this Obama budget proposal are staggering. Thankfully, the conservative intellectual class is onto Obama’s Medicare schemes, and they’re doing everything they can to stop them. Last week, 26 leading conservative organizations, including Americans for Prosperity, the American Conservative Union, and the Center for Freedom and Prosperity, sent a joint letter to Congress cautioning the body from adopting the Obama Administration’s fiscally irresponsible Medicare Part D plan.

“Government forcing companies to turn money over to the Treasury is not a rebate, it’s a tax,” the coalition letter stated. “This tax will have a significant impact on the market. Drug companies will respond by embedding the cost of the tax in the price of their drugs, driving up the total cost of insurance. Increasing the price of insurance—due to direct government involvement—is a de facto tax increase on America’s seniors.”

While conservative advocacy groups outspoken opposition to this budget proposal will certainly be helpful in striking down these Medicare Part D provisions, the proposal’s fate lies in ultimately lies in the hands of the Republican-controlled Congress. The GOP holds a comfortable majority in both the House and the Senate — it can easily stop this fiscally irresponsible bill if it wants to. America’s seniors are counting on them to do so.
