UK’s Independent: “Are peaceful Muslims in denial about their religion?”

As I have often noted lately, the Western intelligentsia is very, very anxious to make sure that you have a positive view of Islam. I say we ignore the market, and start burning American Oil in American Combustion Turbines equipped with American made exhaust scrubber stacks and quiet inlets to make electricity less expensive for all companies supporting Americans by operating their facilities on American soil.

We need to start sticking together and demanding it to be so. We have the natural resources here and the minds that can put them to best use. Let's get on it and demand American Industry to return to its roots.

We have the good sense here to safely exit our society's reliance on fossil fuel by maximizing our own performance in electrical production in the interim between now and any net zero emissions energy production methods of the future. We need to do this while being the best stewards possible to the planet. Lets Go. If anyone can do this right, WE can.

Now, an analysis of the latest IRS filing for the foundation that bears her name, the Bill, Hilly, and Chelsea Clinton Foundation, shows a similar compensation disparity between men and women employees.  Opinion: On Leadership and Courage
(Chris Skates) - By now, most of you have heard Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech from Tuesday before the House. Words are cheap these days and our society is all too loose, free and easy with exaggerated praise...No exaggeration here, the Prime Minister’s speech was epic. It was powerful, historic even, considering the march of militant Islam around the world. It was also a speech by a leader desperate to find a kindred spirit and an intellectual equal among a body that is supposed to consist of other leaders. I do not consider myself a Zionist. I do not believe that Israel is always right in everything it does. Yet it is right on this and the issue is not debatable. Iran is a rogue state that endangers the West as well as Israel if it possesses a nuclear bomb. What’s more, negotiations with the granddaddy of all terror states can only be engaged in by the breathtakingly naïve, or perhaps those too cowardly to face the daunting reality of Islamic terror as we now know it. (Even as I write this, the intelligence community has disclosed that Iranian General Suleimani and the elite Iranian Quds Force are suddenly fighting alongside our supposed ally, Iraq. That self-same ally into which the US has poured billions of dollars and unspeakable gallons of blood from our valiant military.) What in our past three decades of painful interaction with this country leads anyone to believe that they will do what they say? Besides, thus far the White House and State Department haven’t even gotten Iran to say they will do anything of substance.       http://www.westkentuckystar.com/Opinion/Commentary/Opinion-On-Leadership-and-Courage.aspx

Islamic Tribunal Using Sharia Law In Texas Has Been Confirmed
(Dylan) - Texas has confirmed the existence of an Islamic tribunal in Texas that will make judgments in accordance with Sharia law. The website states that Sharia’s well known criminal law, which includes things like cutting off hands of offenders, is only a portion of Sharia law. This tribunal would not do such things, but will focus on civil Sharia law rather than criminal Sharia law. They still have not be given the authority to do so in the state of Texas.     http://gopthedailydose.com/2015/03/08/bombshell-video-islamic-tribunal-using-sharia-law-in-texas-has-been-confirmed/#

There are months, and months, and months of gaps In Clinton email
(Andrew C. However, given the nature of this Gowdy revelation it’s easy to see the real motivation. During an appearance on CBS News’ “Face the Nation” today, Rep.  Sharia USA: Delaware Radio Host Fired for Islamic Comments
(pamelageller.com) - The norming of sharia. What this radio host said is not unreasonable, and even less grounds for firing, but that is where we are in the US. Perhaps he could have packaged it better, but is that where we are?...Yes. Every thought has to be pre-screened and edited for consumption? It’s like we are living in an Islamic country. Shredding the first amendment. Muslim armies across the world are waging holy war in the cause of Islam. The human toll is unfathomable, the body count daily. American Muslims are flocking to join the jihad and we are not allowed to talk about the threat here at home. If I lived in Delaware, I would be protesting this radio station. Adding insult to injury or should I say terror to sharia, USA Today asks a terror-linked group, CAIR, for comment. That’s rich, but it illustrates just how twisted this whole conflict has become.       http://pamelageller.com/2015/03/sharia-usa-delaware-radio-host-fired-for-islamic-comments.html/

How Easily Lies About Gaza Are Swallowed
(Ryan Jones) - Gaza is a difficult place to live, to say the least. And in its current condition, the terrorist-ruled coastal enclave provides a tantalizingly easy propaganda tool with which to smear Israel...Even mundane news about annual weather cycles can be used to feed the anti-Israel machine. Such was the case late last month when media outlets around the world (not only the Arab Press) frantically reported that Israel was deliberately flooding residential areas in Gaza by opening dams in the southern Negev region. Not only did these professional journalists fail to fact-check the story, they didn’t even bother to notice that the same false rumor has been propagated every winter for the past several years.       http://www.israeltoday.co.il/NewsItem/tabid/178/nid/26188/Default.aspx?utm_source=news&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=No-sidebar-news-1&utm_content=1645

 nObama's Assault on the Constitution
(David Limbaugh) - One of the many reasons constitutional conservatives consider President nObama a threat to the Constitution is his disdain for the separation of powers, illustrated most recently in his plan to bypass the Senate in making an arms deal with Iran...The Framers understood that throughout history, the real threat to God-given liberty had been centralized, unchecked governmental power. As such, they crafted our system in a way to limit the consolidation of that power, especially in the federal government. If he goes ahead and by-pass congress on this issue, he definitely needs to be impeach and congress needs to get off their butts and act.        http://americanactionnews.com/articles/obama-s-assault-on-the-constitution

Arabs stand with Israel against nObama
(James Simpson) - President nObama has ushered in a world that defines the statement “truth is stranger than fiction.” Defying his oath to “support and defend the U.S. Constitution…” nObama has in a few short years turned the world upside down...He has sided with our enemies against our friends in the Middle East, and has worked assiduously to “negotiate” a deal allowing Iran to obtain the bomb. He supported the successful effort to depose Hosni Mubarak, one of our most loyal Arab allies, and more importantly, promoted his replacement with the Muslim Brotherhood, the organization responsible for the assassination of Egyptian President Anwar Sadat, the rise of al Qaeda and practically every other Islamic terrorist organization in the world. In Libya nObama forced America to side with al Qaeda linked groups to overthrow Qaddafi – an action which eventuated in the murder of an ambassador, two US Navy SEALS and one other American. Now one of those Islamist “friends” has become ISIS’s representative in Libya.      http://noisyroom.net/blog/2015/03/08/arabs-stand-with-israel-against-obama/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+Noisyroomnet+%28NoisyRoom.net%29
History's Proven Solution to Barbarism
Dr. Marshall Foster

(worldhistoryinstitute.com) - The “civilized” world is in shock as it is bombarded daily with scenes of kidnaping, burning or beheading of Christians, journalists, aid workers and soldiers.

What hope is there of ever ending such barbarity by Islamic radicals like ISIS? The story of one man who confronted a nation filled with human sacrifice, genocide and sex slavery, can give us lasting encouragement. This man’s name was Patrick. We know him today as St. Patrick, the founder of Ireland. There once was a land so barbaric and backward that even the Roman Empire refused to go there. Early medieval maps designated the unmapped territory of Ireland with the title “Here do be monsters.”

Over 1,000 Irish slave traders attacked a small town on the northwest coast of Britain in 405 A.D. Their goal? - To capture hundreds of Christian youth and sell them into slavery back in Ireland. Sixteen year old Patrick was beaten, bound and thrown into the raider’s ship and quickly transported back to Ireland along with hundreds of other youth. There this Celtic boy, the son of a Christian elder and nobleman, was sold as a slave to a pagan, druid warlord named Miliucc in the frozen north of the Island.

Approaching Miliucc’s fort, Patrick would have seen human skulls hanging from the pointed stakes which formed the palisade, the defensive wall. Druids believed that the human head was the seat of the soul of their enemies. They drank from their skulls and they hung the shrunken heads of rivals on their belts. It was a culture of death, similar to the modern ISIL. They even used the same techniques of sacrifice to their pagan gods as the Islamic radicals of today, such as burning their captives alive in cages.

During Patrick’s ordeal he would have witnessed the Celtic pagan ritual of Beltaine during which a colossal wicker cage in the form of a man was  assembled – the Wicker Man. Many rival clansmen, runaway slaves and even innocent children were crammed inside this cage.

Then the Wicker Man was set aflame. In the fiery inferno the screams of the victims could be heard for miles delighting the chief and terrorizing the people. During his captivity, as he barely survived in the open fields tending sheep, Patrick prayed over a hundred times a day. According to his own writings he was radically converted to a sincere faith in Christ.

After six years in captivity Patrick writes that God spoke to him saying, “Your ship is ready” and directed him to escape to the eastern coastline. He boarded the ship and eventually came home to Britain and his family. But not long after, God spoke to Patrick in a dream and he heard Irish voices saying, “Please, holy boy, come and walk among us again.”

Patrick heard the call and after years of preparation he sold his noble title, bought three small sail boats and took twelve friends with him to go back to serve the people that had enslaved him as a boy. Over the next 30 years, beginning in 435, Patrick preached the loving gospel of forgiveness to the Stone Age culture of Ireland, whose people were still enslaved to druid gods of death and human sacrifice.

With no army, facing almost certain death, Patrick proclaimed the true God of loving kindness and forgiveness with such power that the youth, especially, were challenged to abandon their gods of fear and violence and give themselves to the great cause of liberating the hearts of people all over the world.

Author Thomas Cahill explains how he envisioned the Irish pagans of the 5th century responding to Patrick’s message. The Irish must have thought “We can put away our knives and abandon our altars. These are no longer required…He has given us His own Son, and we are washed clean in the blood of this lamb. God does not hate us; He loves us.”

Without an army or support from the Roman church, Patrick went from town to town setting up over 300 churches, schools and monasteries. He trained thousands of ministers who began to translate and preserve the great documents of antiquity in desolate, cold monastic outposts on the edge of civilization. Cahill says, “as the Roman Empire fell, as all through Europe matted, unwashed barbarians descended on the Roman cities looting artifacts and burning books, the Irish … took up the great labor of copying all of  Western literature….Without the Mission of the Irish Monks, who single-handedly re-founded European Civilization throughout the continent… the world that came after them would have been an entirely different one – a world without books. And our own world would have never come to be.” Patrick and his disciples also were the first nation to end sex trafficking and slavery.

But how is this “early history” relevant to us today in our current struggle with radical Islam and atheistic Communism? Patrick illustrates history’s only proven strategy that has subdued the blood-lust of lost souls from any pagan ideology to give up their beheading ways. Ireland was no aberration. Its peaceful transformation became an example which has been repeated in nations worldwide. Let us proclaim, with sincere humility, the God-honoring fact that the tyrannical pagan nations of Ireland, Scotland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Holland, France, England, America, Australia, New Zealand and dozens of other nations have been peacefully liberated by Jesus, the true Liberator. Civilization, based on the rule of law, however, stands on the brink of collapse because we have forgotten the source of our civility – the God of the Bible.

The biblical strategy of liberty, although primarily based upon the voluntary conversion and transformation of individuals, does not preclude the necessity in this fallen world of restraining evil by force. It is a self-evident truth, confirmed throughout the Scriptures, that all people have a right and a duty of self-defense against lawless rogues. While rebuilding pagan nations can never be accomplished by force, the military, led by civil magistrates (Romans 13, Gen. 9) has the right and responsibility, as do the people, to defend themselves and their land from attack. See the “Christian Just War Theory” for details.

John Calvin was faced with the extinction of Christianity five centuries ago in Europe at the hands of the Ottoman Turks. The great Biblicist put the major responsibility for the future of Christendom in the right place – right at the steps of the church. Calvin said “Until the Church finds the will and heart to reach the Muslims with the Gospel we shall always be at peril.” So it is today.

The church has the major responsibility, as God’s Ambassadors of reconciliation, to reach the unreachable and disciple the nations, remembering that Christians also were all at one time “dead in our trespasses and sins.”

Hillary Email Scandal Catches Obama in Transparency Untruth

Hillary Clinton has addressed her private email scandal so far only with a lone tweet, although she reportedly plans to publicly address the issue today. But Barack Obama has already taken plenty of flak on the subject. Over the weekend, CBS News asked Obama when he learned of Clinton’s private account. “The same time everybody else learned it – through news reports,” Obama replied. “The policy of my administration is to encourage transparency, which is why my emails, the BlackBerry I carry around, all those records are available and archived.” But that little untruth was undermined by Obama’s spokesman, Josh Earnest, who admitted Monday that Obama emailed Hillary at her private account. Earnest told reporters, “The president, as I think many people expected, did over the course of his first several years in office trade emails with his secretary of state. I would not describe the number of emails as large, but they did have the occasion to email each other.” Unlike Technology subcommittee member Sen. Lindsey Graham(R-SC), Obama knows how to use email; his oft-repeated story of incompetence can’t help him in this instance.

Social Security Continuing to Implement Amnesty Actions

It was the logical next step. If illegal immigrants are getting Social Security numbers, then they are going to collect benefits. Stephen Goss, chief actuary for the Social Security Administration, wrote a letter to Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) claiming that by 2017 some 16,000 illegal immigrants amnestied by Barack Obama’s executive action would start receiving Social Security benefits. Furthermore, Goss admitted the agency is ignoring the injunction blocking the implementation of Obama’s executive decrees. In the letter, Goss wrote, “Based on the best advice and counsel we have gotten, we’re working on the assumption that these [mass amnesty actions] will persist. Most indications we seem to get are that it’s likely that this will get back on track, with some delay.” This is the administration that has 6.5 million active Social Security numbers for people112 years old or older. Put another way, the administration is rife with bad record keeping, fraud and a host of illegal immigrants who are using stolen numbers to stay in the country. More…

McConnell Promises to Raise Debt Ceiling

Raise the debt ceiling? No problem, says Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell. “I made it very clear after the November election that we’re certainly not going to shut down the government or default on the national debt,” McConnell said Sunday. “We will figure some way to handle that. And, hopefully, it might carry some other important legislation that we can agree on in connection with it.” At issue is, yet again, the legal limit on the nation’s debt. Last year, lawmakers opted for a “debt ceiling holiday” instead of a specific statutory limit increase, but the holiday ends March 15. The national debt stands at nearly $18.2 trillion, up from $10.6 trillion at Barack Obama’s inauguration, but it’s still not enough. Instead of putting up a fight after gaining control of both chambers of Congress, McConnell said the GOP would rather just play nice. It’s not that shutting down the government is the desirable strategy every time Republicans disagree with Obama, but they have repeatedly shown deathly fear of the very idea. Obama knows that, which only strengthens his resolve and makes each of these fights more of a farce. Republicans gained exactly nothing last time, and now they appear to be chickening out in advance.

SCOTUS Upholds Religious Liberty in ObamaCare Case

Before the Hobby Lobby case, the court system told the University of Notre Dame it had to comply with ObamaCare’s contraception mandate – even if doing so violated the Catholic university’s collective conscience. But in a ruling by the Supreme Court Monday, the case was sent back to the lower court with instructions that the court must decide the case based on the Hobby Lobby ruling. Mark Rienzi, senior counsel of the Becket Fund for Religious Liberty, said, “This is a major blow to the federal government’s contraception mandate. For the past year, the Notre Dame decision has been the centerpiece of the government’s effort to force religious ministries to violate their beliefs or pay fines to the IRS. As with the Supreme Court’s decisions in Little Sisters of the Poor and Hobby Lobby, this is a strong signal that the Supreme Court will ultimately reject the government’s narrow view of religious liberty.” The court is willing to buck the Obama administration on ObamaCare for the sake of religious Liberty. Hopefully, it will, in a similar manner, decide to buck politics in its King v. Burwell ruling. More…

Under NV Law, Gun Carrying Homes Can’t Give Foster Care

Brian and Valerie Wilson are at the forefront of the effort to change foster care policies in Nevada. The couple – who started carrying handguns after an attempted home invasion – wanted to become foster care parents, but they were denied because Nevada rejects applications from couples if they have gun permits. According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, assemblywoman Michele Fiore, who cosponsored a bill changing the foster care polices, said, “I don’t know if some of my peers have toured Child Haven or have been in Child Haven, but we have children in need of great foster care, and we have had people that are law-abiding citizens that have gotten their background checks, that have their CCWs, literally denied to foster a child because they have a concealed-weapons permit.” It’s an unjust policy. Couples like the Wilsons are law-abiding citizens exercising their Second Amendment rights, yet the foster care system rules that gun ownership is somehow less lawful. More…

Does the Ethanol Mandate Include Singing Its Praises?

2015-03-10-b57008af.jpgRepublicans pledge allegiance

A number of potential Republican presidential candidates descended on the Iowa Ag Summit this past weekend to shore up their bona fides with the state’s agricultural industry. Unfortunately, when it came to the subject of ethanol and the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS), most of the White House hopefuls resorted to pandering to voters rather than speaking truth about failed policy.

The hard-charging environmental lobby rallies around corn-based ethanol as a fuel alternative because ecofascists have great faith that it’s better for the environment (spoiler alert: it’s not). Farmers, particularly those in Iowa, embrace the policy mandating ethanol as a fuel additive because it raises demand for corn and puts more money in their pockets.

The environmental and agricultural lobbies have been strong enough to keep the RFS alive even after a number of scientists and economists have disproven the effectiveness and benefits of ethanol.

Sure, ethanol combustion in automobiles does produce less CO2 than fossil fuel combustion, which gives climate change fanatics warm fuzzies. However, growing all the corn necessary to meet Washington’s arbitrary mandate (and its subsequent effect on food prices), along with the intensive production process of manufacturing ethanol, heavily outweighs any benefits we experience through ethanol use. And that’s not to mention the fuel’s destructiveness for engines, or that CO2 is not a pollutant.

An Associated Press investigation into ethanol production revealed that, in their rush to clear land to plant corn, farmers “wiped out millions of acres of conservation land, destroyed habitat and polluted water supplies.” Wetlands were devastated, and billions of pounds of fertilizers contaminated rivers. Had manufacturers of any other product taken these actions, the Obama White House would be calling for investigations and fines. Instead, the administration plows ahead with current policy.

And as Mark Alexander wrote last year, “More than 90% of our nation’s corn crop went toward feeding people and livestock in the year 2000, with less than 5% of the crop going toward ethanol. In 2013, however, a whopping 40% went toward ethanol. To illustrate this grossly inefficient use of our natural resources, the amount of grain required to fill a 25-gallon automotive fuel tank with ethanol is enough grain to feed one person for an entire year.”

Nevertheless, Iowa Gov. Terry Branstad played the role of Captain Obvious when he stated that any candidate who publicly opposes the ethanol mandate would probably not win the Iowa caucus next year. In truth, it’s tough to stand in front of a crowd of potential supporters and tell them you are against their favorite policy. But no one ever said having the courage of your convictions was easy.

Almost all of the major GOP White House contenders failed the conviction test in Iowa.

Rick Perry said, “I don’t think you pull the RFS [Renewable Fuel Standard] out and discriminate against the RFS and leave all these other subsidies.” In other words, subsidies are good because subsidies exist.

Chris Christie and Lindsey Graham voiced full-throated support for the RFS, and Mike Huckabee claimed ethanol was good for national security policy by reducing dependence on foreign imports. Rick Santorum argued ethanol “creates jobs in small-town and rural America, which is where people are hurting.”

Even Scott Walker, who opposed ethanol in 2006, said that while he is opposed to government intervention he will support the ethanol mandate. “Right now we don’t have a free and open marketplace,” he asserted, so why not keep the mandate going? He did add that eventually there will be “no need to have a standard,” but his squishiness was palpable.

Jeb Bush was less objectionable, but also ducked making any substantive statements. “The markets are ultimately going to have to decide this,” he said, though he equivocated by refusing to set a firm deadline for phasing out the RFS.

Only Ted Cruz managed to get it right. “I recognize that this is a gathering of a lot of folks where the answer you’d like me to give is, ‘I’m for the RFS, darn it,’” he said. “But I’ll tell you, people are pretty fed up, I think, with politicians who go around and tell one group one thing, tell another group another thing, and then they go to Washington and they don’t do anything that they said they would do.”

Cruz added, “I don’t think Washington should be picking winners and losers. When it comes to energy, we should have an all-of-the-above approach, but it should be driven by the market.” Exactly right.

The audience applauded Cruz’s candor for coming out against the RFS, but no doubt many also made a mental note to scratch him off their short list for 2016.

Republicans don’t seem to have a problem speaking out against ObamaCare’s mandate that Americans buy health insurance. Why do they then embrace the mandate that Americans buy ethanol?

The answer is simple: Iowa is always an important state for presidential candidates as its caucus kicks off the primaries. But the ethanol debacle illustrates why this privilege should no longer reside in the Hawkeye State. GOP candidates should be standing by free market principles instead of corporate welfare, but thanks to the primary structure they’re forced to pander to Iowa farmers.

Little Support for Obama’s ‘Strategy’ Against ISIL

2015-03-10-6aa502a1.jpg

Problems continue to abound for Barack Obama in dealing with the Islamic State and other jihadists in the Middle East. He claims he wants congressional support, and he boasts there is a united front to combat the Islamic State, but, given the current situation in the Middle East and Obama’s record of failed foreign policy, few are lining up to follow his lead.

Early last month, Obama submitted to Congress his request for an Authorization for the Use of Military Force (AUMF) to fight the Islamic State. As we noted then, his request prohibits any enduring offensive combat operations and sets a timetable for three years, which in his warped view will show the world our resolve in countering the Islamic State.

In reality, the 2001 AUMF against al-Qaida and the 2002 AUMF for military operations in Iraq allow Obama to pursue the Islamic State. But those AUMFs were during the Bush administration, and since Obama doesn’t want to commit to a ground campaign, or for that matter have any part of Bush’s war strategy, he wants his own AUMF.

It appears, however, that due to his numerous failed strategies in the Middle East (Libya, Syria, Egypt, Yemen and Iraq) he can’t even convince Senate Democrats to approve his AUMF request. Obama obviously wants Congress to share responsibility for his strategy debacle against the Islamic State, but lawmakers aren’t taking the bait.

If Congress was to grant his AUMF request and things deteriorate further, Obama would shift the blame on Congress. At the same time, if Congress doesn’t grant his AUMF request, he will blame Congress for not giving him authorization. But remember, he already has authorization under the 2001 and 2002 agreements, yet he won’t commit to putting boots on the ground. For now, we will just have boots in the air.

Speaking of boots in the air, the U.S. air campaign has had some success in Syria, but is also doing the lion’s share of work. According to The Washington Post, “Of the 2,738 airstrikes the coalition has conducted in Iraq and Syria since last summer, the Americans have carried out 2,203.”

The Post adds that “the picture on the ground in Iraq is similar,” with U.S forces of just under 3,000 troops far outnumbering other countries such as Australia and France. This despite Obama saying there would be no ground troops. Move along; nothing to see here. They are strictly advisers and trainers, the administration says – that is until they’re shot at and must fight back. But we digress.

Meanwhile, there are no members of the Arab alliance who have announced they will send advisers to Iraq. Since the Iraqi government can’t seem to muster support for its fight against the Islamic State, who then to turn to but the United States? Well, kind of.

The Iraqi government is asking for the U.S. to start dropping bombs on Saddam Hussein’s home town of Tikrit, which is currently held by ISIL. Baghdad wants Tikrit back, but it isn’t happy with Washington. An aide to the prime minister complained, “The Americans continue procrastinating about the time it will take to liberate the country.” If the Iraqis are waiting for Obama to admit he left too soon or is acting too slowly, they will be waiting forever.

While Baghdad waits for Obama to act, the Iran-Iraq coalition – yes, you read that right – has made little progress. According to World Affairs' Michael Totten, “The Iraqi armed forces consist partly of Iraqi Shia militias led by Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps.” But, he writes, “The Iranian-Iraqi coalition has made almost no progress at all in Tikrit. ISIS laced the area with mines and is dispatching suicide bombers with reckless abandon – another bit of irony. Iran’s Lebanese client Hezbollah pioneered suicide bombings in the Middle East during the 1980s, and now that very deplorable tactic is being used against its own architects closer to home.”

With Tikrit consisting primarily of Sunni Muslims, and with a deep distrust for Iran, is there any reason to believe more sectarian violence won’t erupt? For Iraqis in Tikrit, it’s essentially a choice between being slaughtered by ISIL or taken over by Iran.

The violence, political chaos and instability in the Middle East is made worse when a sitting president with no foreign policy experience fails to recognize, deal with, or at the very least contain the spread of radical Islam. Given the circumstances in Syria and Iraq and the fact that Iran is seeking to expand its influence (while pursuing nuclear weapons), what good would Obama’s AUMF request do anyway?

He has not decimated al-Qaida and the Islamic State is still growing. In fact, Boko Haram recently announced its allegiance to the Islamic State. When Obama declared terrorists were on the run, he must have meant that they were running to join forces.

OPINION IN BRIEF

St. Augustine of Hippo (354-430 AD): “Though defensive violence will always be ‘a sad necessity’ in the eyes of men of principle, it would be still more unfortunate if wrongdoers should dominate just men.”

Columnist Ed Feulner: “[T]he FCC has assured the public that it won’t resort to regulating broadband providers as fully as the law would allow. They’ll still have a large degree of autonomy, we’re to believe. But you don’t have to be as skeptical of government promises as I am to view this assurance with a heavy dose of suspicion. I’m not saying the FCC is necessarily being disingenuous. But consider the government’s track record. President Lyndon Johnson, for example, told us that the welfare system he signed into law in the 1960s would be a ‘hand up,’ not a handout. Yet until the 1996 reform, it was impossible to view as anything but a handout. More recently, we have …. Dodd-Frank and Obamacare. Policymakers can have all the good intentions in the world, but it doesn’t change what can and does happen when their so-called solutions are put into practice. … [W]e’ve been here twice before, once in 2006 and again in 2010. Both times, net neutrality didn’t survive a court challenge, and that’s where we look now. … Sorry, but net neutrality is like a virus or a bad line of code. It needs to be eradicated, not embraced. The government is here, all right, but not to help. Time to hit ‘delete.’”

Columnist Arnold Ahlert: “Iran is the Shi'ite side of the terrorist equation. The Sunni side is equally problematic. Nigerian terror group Boko Haram has reportedly pledged its allegiance to ISIS. ISIS itself has expanded operations in Libya, resulting in the beheading of eight guards after last week’s assault on an oil field. Nine foreigners were also abducted. Eight was the ‘magic number’ in Iraq as well, as in eight dead bodies hung by their feet in Iraq’s Kirkuk province. ISIS was equally busy destroying antiquities dating back to 717 BC. … It bears repeating for the terminally addled members of the Obama administration and their equally clueless sycophants: Every day ISIS remains viable is another day they remain inspirational to domestic jihadists who have already made it clear that places like Paris, Sydney, London, Cophenhagen, Oklahoma, Canada and New York can be converted into killing fields. Nevertheless, Obama and company remain in second gear as his promise to ‘degrade and destroy’ what he once referred to as a ‘JV team’ rings increasingly hollow.”

About the Racist Bus Chanting...

“Racist”. “Hate-speech”. “Offensive words.” “Offensive behaviour”.

I am listening to the news and a story about a fraternity's racist video or something of the sort. Seems college kids were making comments about another race – they were generalizing, stereotyping, and using what some call ‘offensive’ language.

As if on-cue, the ‘marchers’ and ‘protesters’ start. Their chants – their aggressive response to these ‘racist’ kids of the frat who was recorded.

Here’s what was on the vid: Kids on a bus chanting “There’ll never be a nigger in SAE. You can hang them from a tree but they’ll never sign with me, there’ll never be a nigger in SAE!”
Of course we have ‘outrage’. Of course we have calls for, in essence, to ‘burn this MF’er down!’. We have high-horse riders on twitter begging for ‘something to be done!’.

Here’s the scariest part of all of this: Ready for it?

If THIS type of behaviour – although idiotic, stupid, whatever – is enough to incite protests and saber rattling and ‘outrage’, I question the resolve of our society. I question the weakness – to actually get ‘outraged’ by people I don’t know chanting something stupid not directed towards anyone specific, in a non-threatening way, without knowing if anyone of color was on the bus participating – of our population. People outraged at SPEECH are NOT tough enough to defend freedom nor liberty. People so-upset at the mere WORDS of others have NO chance in holding a society together.

Here’s the proper response: “Those kids are idiots. Move on”

That video does NOT mean ‘our society has farther to go in race-relations’ . That video is NOT evidence of racists; for I believe saying something racist does not make somebody a racist any more than saying something in japanese makes somebody japanese.

As a man with likely-african roots, I’m bewildered at the flip-flop in violence against another race since ‘our nation began’ and about the 1960s. Back in the day, white folk killed, tortured, and harassed folks of color sometimes with impunity. Today, (probably) European-american, or…hrm…lighter-pigment skin-colour kids on a bus do a chant and that’s ‘evidence of racism’ while folks of sharing part of my ancestry burn buildings, assault people, KILL people, and destroy innocent bystanders and that is LARGELY accepted by the likes of our (partially) black president and his counsel. The rampant destruction of a city is the result of White-on-Black racism. It’s not their fault. They SHOULD riot because cops arrest more black folk than white folk (no mention of the black folk doing the crime in the fist place).

Its understandable to our societal "leaders" because today's youth-of-colour have innate fear, frustration and pain from their ANCESTRIAL struggles (literally – people have said shit like that). Warning! Crazy-talk ahead. But talk that is TRUE (as displayed) in the minds of our weakest-but-loudest segment of society:

Group of kids with largely European-American heritage on a bus chanting black-centric racist words: Proof of white privledge, racism, and all things bad.
Group of people with largely african heritage Burning the streets and buildings, rioting, looting, and assaulting others: ALSO Proof of white privilege, racism, and all things bad.

What the HELL is wrong with us, as a people? If somebody wants to be a racist, but is not otherwise infringing upon the rights, freedoms of others? Who gives a shit.
Liberty SHOULD be enough to quell the ‘outrage’. But it will not. Liberty will take a back seat to people looking to be special-enough as to be offended. It’s not only within race-relations – it’s with illnesses, tragedy, and victory.

Go to a funeral – especially that of a young person – and you’ll likely hear how close the person speaking was to the deceased. You’ll hear how SAD the person speaking is. You’ll hear how the person speaking has LOST SO MUCH! Maybe the person speaking should instead focus on the deceased – NOT themselves. We hear it on forums, and in bars: “Well…my BUDDY was in A’stan! He got hurt!” Another jumps in “Well MY body lost his leg!” Then a third “Well MY BUDDY lost ALL his limbs!” With victory – “Oh yeah? Well MY COUSIN knows a guy who was friends with a woman whose sister’s best friend’s former roommate knew Tom Brady!”

Human nature rises up and demands association-for-attention in ALL situations. We yearn to be special-enough as to be associated with tragedy or victory. It’s a case of “LOOK AT ME!! I am OFFENDED!! Some stupid white kids were chanting on a bus! But that HURTS ME! Acknowledge me!! Validate ME!!”

Unfortunately, the response to this video is WORSE than the video. Happens all the time.

The US is a police state

By: Juan Reynoso, WTP Activist  -  voteforamerica@gmail.com

Americas must realize that self-scrutiny is not treason. Self-examination is not disloyalty.

We seek the truth and let the people know. Truth and knowledge diffused among the people are necessary for the preservation of our Democracy, rights, freedom and liberties.

America is a police state. http://www.policestateusa.com/

The Patriot act, real name is bondage. The Patriot act slogan is; if we give-up our rights we will demise terrorism and create a perfect society. But the truth is; social control through a maniacal sycophantic ill policy created and executed by the elite sycophants that rule our country is bondage.

It really doesn’t matter what you call them—the 1%, the elite, the controllers, the masterminds, the shadow government, the police state, the surveillance state, the military industrial complex—so long as you understand that while they are in control we are being exploited and transform into slaves while they are getting rich and in control of our government.

The problem, of course, is that we fail to see that we are the solution, the fact is that we fail to understand that divided we will fail and that united we can do anything; luck will not save us and will not get us out of this mess. The people dealing the cards—the politicians, the corporations, the judges, the prosecutors, the police, the bureaucrats, the military, the media, etc.—have only one prevailing concern, and that is to maintain their power and control over the country and us, for money; for the love of money they become sinners. Criminals, that subscribe to the sycophant’s ideology that the ends justified the means.

Fellow Americans we got the power, united we can take our country back. It is simple just follow this rule. United we stand to take our country back:

1-     Close your account on the interstate Banks and deposit your money in credit unions or local Banks. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gTsV6WpPvqI

2-     Buy products made in the USA.

3-     Support local family farming and buy local produce

4-     Form Cooperatives for economic development and create local jobs.

5-     Support local business and family own business.

6-     Seek people that will be interest in community living.

7-     Use Car pulling system to save on transportation

8-     Use your church as a center for community integration and unity.

9-     Form organizations, think tanks for community and neighborhoods problems solving strategies.

10-  Promote key elements of success (Trust- integrity – honesty – respect – working together -  family values and love for each other)

Will SCOTUS Save nObamaCare From Itself?
As headlines tuned to her majesty's secret email servers and the Senate's failure to override Barack nObama's Keystone veto, the Supreme Court Wednesday considered oral arguments in a case that could potentially unravel the disaster known as the Affordable Care Act, or nObamaCare. The case, King v. Burwell, challenges the legality of federal health insurance subsidies for individuals in states that have not set up health insurance exchanges. It's a case built on solid ground. The law specifically declares -- nine times to be exact -- that subsidies are available only through exchanges "established by the state." Yet 36 states opted not to establish an exchange or have discontinued their exchange. So, the IRS issued regulations declaring subsidies are available in these states, in direct violation of the wording in the ACA. Solicitor General Donald Verrilli Jr., who argued on behalf of the administration, said interpreting the law as the plaintiffs argue would "revoke the administration's promise" to give Americans affordable health care and noted, "That cannot be the statute Congress intended." Barack nObama didn't worry himself with revoking his promises about keeping insurance plans or doctors. Why worry about subsidies?  -The Patriot Post

 No Justice for Ferguson
As expected, the Justice Department released its report on endemic racism in the Ferguson Police Department, determining that blacks were treated unfairly in "nearly every aspect of Ferguson's law enforcement system." The DOJ's findings were virtually a foregone conclusion. Attorney General Eric Holder and his merry band set out to find racism among white cops and, lo and behold, their witch hunt was successful. But, if some of the findings are indeed true, it's hard to say there isn't a real problem in Ferguson. For purely partisan reasons, Holder and his boss, Barack nObama, launched a national campaign to throw municipal, county and state law enforcement officers under the bus -- the same cops they frequently use as photo-op props. Holder said the DOJ's findings explain why a black man's death at the hands of a white police officer "set off the city of Ferguson like a powder keg." Perhaps that's partly true, especially if the perception among the populace is that the police are out to get them, but it's also far more complicated than Holder lets on. And can we really believe anything he says?  -The Patriot Post

nOBAMA CONTROLS CLINTON’S FATE IN EMAIL SCANDAL
Hilly Clinton
said she wants “the public to see [her] email” in a tweet so Clintonian in its tortured language that it would have been perfect for a #throwbackthursday. The presumptive Democratic nominee most certainly does not want the public to see her “email,” which is why she built and maintained a secret server that risked massive security breaches but was designed to allow the eradication of any troublesome messages. That the server may have been overseen by a longtime aide with ties to the Clintons’ pardon scandal only makes the nostalgia more poignant. Pop in a Spin Doctors’ CD and let the 90s vibe flow, America. The former secretary of state is actually referring to emails she has already given the agency. Clinton’s campaign team would obviously have no qualms about releasing what has been already sterilized. But blaming the scandal on a bureaucratic snag beyond her control is an effort to inculpate the nObama administration. Team nObama, however, is fighting back.  -Fox News
4064068816?profile=original
Out on the ledge -   AP reports today that the White House counsel’s office did not know Clinton was relying on private email servers and did so against the instructions she had been given. This comes after administration figures on Wednesday stepped gingerly away from the whole controversy, declaring their own electronic hygiene immaculate but leaving unanswered questions about Clinton’s potential misdeeds. It seems unlikely that Republican-led efforts to extract Clinton’s old emails will be fruitful. After all, if she is guilty of what her accusers allege, why would she suddenly get religion and cough up incriminating emails? What would be the point of breaking the rules and having a shady “homebrew” server if only to dump the data at the moment most damaging? But if the nObama administration were to decide to get serious, this could be the beginning of the end for Clinton’s second presidential campaign. Did someone say “special prosecutor?”
“The bigger concern is was she transacting official government business that’s on a server that’s not secure? Because we know these servers are targets for foreign intelligence. We know the Chinese, the Russians, the North Koreans, the Cubans and others are constantly trying to hack into computers and especially that of government officials and if she was transacting sensitive State Department business on an insecure server, that alone is reason to be alarmed.” –Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., on “The Kelly File”  -Fox News

Dems anxious for alternative -   WaPo: “Democratic activists in early presidential nominating states say that new controversies swirling around Hilly Rodham Clinton have made them more eager than ever for alternatives in 2016. The undercurrent of anxiety about Clinton’s vulnerabilities has grown in recent days with potentially damaging news of foreign donations to the Clinton Foundation and the former secretary of state’s use of private email accounts to conduct official business.”
[A new Quinnipiac Poll, taken before the controversy broke over Hilly Clinton’s use of a private email account as secretary of state, showed the Democratic frontrunner maintaining a 42 point lead over her closest competitor.  Without Clinton in the race, Democratic voters polled give Vice President loose lips Joe Biden the lead at 35 percent, Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren, 25 percent and Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont, 7 percent.]
“There’s always another shoe to drop with Hilly… ‘I’ll tell you this: [loose lips Joe Biden] ain’t got no e-mail problems. He ain’t got no foundation problems. What you see with loose lips Joe is what you get. There’s nothing hidden there.’” -- Dick Harpootlian, a former Democratic Party chairman in South Carolina in an interview with WaPo.   -Fox News

Heroes in Egypt Confront Islamist Ideology
(Michael Armanious) - For the first time in the history, a heroic head of state stood before Al-Azhar's scholars, insisting they acknowledge that there is a real problem with Al-Azhar's teachings and asking them to reform the religious ideology, primarily through changing its core domain, education...Sisi had the courage to call for a religious revolution within Al-Azhar. In the house of the religious scholars, he took them on. What made his speech remarkable is that he pointed to the problem within, and did not blame a Western or Jewish conspiracy for the problems facing Muslims. About a month after Sisi's heroic speech, in which he said, "We must revolutionize our religion," Ibrahim Eissa, an Egyptian journalist and another hero of the Middle East, backed him up. Eissa said on Egyptian television, on February 3, that no one in Egypt has had the courage to admit that the ideology and activities of ISIS are based on Islamic sources.  An Arab-backed imposter
(Joseph Farah) - Rearrange all the letters of President Barack nObama just so and you can get a perfect anagram using all 20 characters with none left over...You know what it says? “An Arab-backed imposter.” Now that’s a nearly perfect description of who Barack Hussein nObama really is. What are the chances? I say nearly perfect only because I like to spell impostor with the O rather than the E. But both are acceptable. Maybe you’ve seen this before. It’s new to me.  U.S. Set to Be the New Swing Producer

But it seems the Saudis are tiring of this role. And now, the United States is ready to take control…       http://www.wallstreetdaily.com/2015/03/03/saudi-arabia-oil-production/

King V. Burwell and the Rule of Law
(insideronline.org) - From the early days of the Republic, a core component of our constitutional character has been the idea that our government is a government of laws and not of men...
The current Administration, however, has engaged in a sustained assault on the rule of law. In the latest instance, notwithstanding nObamacare’s unmistakably clear text, which limits subsidies to plans purchased through state-established exchanges, and notwithstanding that this limitation was absolutely fundamental to accomplishing Congress’s purpose of incentivizing states to establish exchanges, the President decided that he would also offer subsidies for plans purchased through federally established exchanges. President nObama maintains the law must be rewritten to avoid the consequences the law itself imposes. The American people deserve a health care law that works, and a President who follows the law.

Opportunity for Congress and the States to Clear Away nObamacare’s
(insideronline.org) - Congress and the states should seize the opportunity and clear the way for patient-centered, market-based reforms to take root in the states...Congress should devolve the regulatory authority over insurance back to the states. In anticipation of such an exemption, states should use their authority now to put in place their own policies governing insurance. Congress should not preserve the flawed Affordable Care Act (ACA) subsidy scheme and states should not adopt state exchanges. Instead, congress should exempt individuals, employers, and insurance plans in states that have no state exchange from the ACA’s costly rules, regulations, and mandates.       URL:thf_media.s3.amazonaws.com/2015/pdf/IB4360.pdf

Executive Actions on Immigration and Their Impact on State Elections
(Hans A. von Spakovsky) - The U.S. already has a problem with noncitizens being able to easily register and vote in our elections—whether they do so intentionally or not—with little chance of detection or even prosecution when they are detected...There have been numerous such cases around the country, from Florida to Virginia to Ohio to California. Those ineligible voters could make the difference in a close election, and we have many close elections, particularly in local races.  On November 20, President nObama announced his new immigration policy, which is being implemented through a series of directives issued by Jeh Johnson, the Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). This executive action, which will not only provide “deferred action” for aliens illegally in the United States—no prosecution or enforcement of federal law requiring their removal—but will also provide them with social security numbers and employment authorization documents or work permits. Lawsuits are already ongoing to force states to provide all aliens granted deferred status with driver’s licenses, and other states such as Georgia are already granting driver’s licenses to such aliens.       http://www.heritage.org/research/testimony/2015/the-presidents-executive-actions-on-immigration-and-their-impact-on-federal-and-state-elections

The ATF has NO Authority to Ban Ammunition!
(Tim Brown) - As we all heard in February, Obama's Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (BATFE) under B. Todd Jones has decided to put forth a notice that they are intending on banning the M855 AR-15 rounds known as "green tips."...The move is completely unconstitutional as the states gave no authority to infringe on the right of the people to keep and bear arms. This would include the ammunition used by any of those arms. Of course, the reason for a move to ban ammunition is because the administration and gun grabbers in both the House and Senate wanted to usurp the Second Amendment, seize authority they do not have, and attack gun ownership via ammunition. After all, if you don't have ammunition, what good is a gun, right?       http://eaglerising.com/15810/atf-no-authority-ban-ammunition/#iizTp06D31rmvBmJ.99

(James Simpson) - While the nObama administration appears to have used its power once again to force the issue of net neutrality, the FCC has been rebuked in the courts twice before, and is likely to lose on this one as well...On Feb. 26, the five FCC commissioners voted 3-2 to place the Internet under strict common-carrier rules of Title II of the Communications Act of 1934. It was a party line vote, with the three Democrats voting for and two Republicans voting against. The FCC kept the 332-page regulation under wraps before the vote. As with nObamacare, they had to pass it so we could find out what is in it. Chairman Tom Wheeler even refused to testify before Congress on the rules under consideration. Even though they have now voted, they have yet to release the document to the public. The FCC is supposedly an independent body, commissioned by Congress, but in a public announcement broadcast on YouTube, nObama essentially ordered Wheeler to impose “the strongest possible rules” on the Internet. Nothing new for this president, but Wheeler himself had been initially opposed to this idea, instead working on a “third way,” which used some authority from the Communications Act but avoided the heavy hand of Title II. However, as so many others who find themselves at odds with the administration, he abruptly changed his tune and began promoting what appeared to be the nObama plan.       http://noisyroom.net/blog/2015/03/07/how-independent-was-the-net-neutrality-decision/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+Noisyroomnet+%28NoisyRoom.net%29

City Wages KGB-Style Crackdown on Churches
(Fox News) – A government crackdown on churches has Christians in Lake Worth, Fla., wondering if they live in the United States or the former Soviet Union...Churches in Lake Worth, population 36,000,  have been ordered to acquire a business license. As if the church has to get the government’s permission to preach and pray? But wait. It gets worse, folks. City officials were so concerned about one congregation that they dispatched a code enforcement officer cloaked in a hoodie to spy on a Southern Baptist church that was meeting in a coffee house. “Government employees are public servants and prohibited by the Constitution from inhibiting religious freedom.”        http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2015/03/05/florida-city-wages-soviet-style-crackdown-on-churches/#sthash.LrPucKwl.dpuf
What nObama Can Learn
about Radical Islam from New Saudi King
Irfan Al-Alawi and Stephen Schwartz
1034.jpg

(meforum.org) - Following the death of Saudi King Abdullah at the end of January, and the succession of his half-brother, now King Salman, 79, many observers of the desert monarchy have speculated on its future.

Almost immediately, King Salman has commenced an effort to clear the air regarding Islamist ideology and its association with terrorism. That's rather unlike President nObama. While he and some other Western leaders claim they are combating radical Islam, they habitually refuse to call it by its correct name. Instead, they employ euphemisms.

American Counter-'Extremism'

On February 18, nObama summoned a three-day conclave titled "Countering Violent Extremism." Such terminology suggests that the atrocities of the Islamic State or ISIS, al Qaeda, the Taliban and other South Asian jihadists, and Iranian operatives in various countries, are mere aspects of a general planetary wave of ethnic and political turmoil.

They are not. Radical Islamist terrorism reflects a feature of Islam that has erupted and then subsided repeatedly over the centuries of Muslim history. It has its own specific content and dynamics. But the merest recognition of this reality was absent from a fact sheet on the "White House Summit on Countering Violent Extremism" issued by the presidential press office. In nearly 1,700 words of bureaucratic boilerplate, references to "Muslims," "Islam," "Wahhabism," "Taliban," or "Iran," did not appear even once.

Instead, the fact sheet was replete with the suffocating esoterism of the Beltway vocabulary, referring to "drivers and indicators of radicalization," "stakeholders and practitioners," and "extremist messaging and narratives." Nothing that transpired at the "summit" indicated any better reasoning in the current administration. Indeed, according to a February 13 report entitled, grotesquely, "nObama Summit Targets American Extremism," on Voice of America News, the meeting was concentrated as much on social pathologies like urban gangs in our country as on Islamist fanaticism.

"Countering Violent Extremism" was provided with its own acronym – "CVE" – which will probably be forgotten quickly, just as the approach itself is likely to fail. Before September 11, 2001, Islamist terror was treated as a criminal problem. Now it is viewed by Western elites as a sociological conundrum, involving, as stated by nObama in his address to the United Nations in September 2014, "underlying grievances and conflicts that feed extremism."

While obstacles to Muslim integration in some Western countries, and youthful alienation, feed radical recruitment, little progress has been made, in 13 years since 9/11, to broaden Western comprehension of the more basic role of Islamist ideology. In this context, the responsibility of Iran for encouragement of the hideous bloodbath by the Syrian regime should not be overlooked.

Saudi Counter-Terrorism

Saudi King Salman, by contrast, has put forward a very different attitude in remarks to a conference of Islamic scholars in Mecca in February, under the rubric of "Islam and Counter Terrorism." As reported by the Jidda-based Saudi Gazette, "the King said the entire world is threatened by the 'Islamized terrorism' which kills, destroys and commits all kinds of vices under the name of Islam." In addition, "he said the detestable crimes of terrorists were the root cause of the hostile campaigns against Islam and Muslims," according to the paper. King Salman added that many people fear Islam and "are skeptical of us and our religion."

Aside from Saudi Arabia, the Mecca conference drew participants from Lebanon, Sudan, Egypt, Algeria, Morocco, Senegal, India, France, Thailand, and other countries. The meeting was held by the Muslim World League (MWL), created in 1962 as a trans-national coalition of Wahhabi and other fundamentalist entities. MWL came under widespread suspicion in the aftermath of September 11, 2001. MWL currently has offices in 34 Muslim and non-Muslim lands, and operates 21 expansive mosques or "Islamic cultural centers" on six continents.

But MWL has not returned to the area of Washington, DC, where its office in Herndon, Virginia, was raided by U.S. authorities in 2002. Its past establishment of grandiose mosques and distribution of cash across the globe were, it seems, curtailed under King Abdullah, whose reign began in 2005. MWL has not, however, increased the sophistication of its image. Its website is poorly edited and confuses, currently, South Korea, where MWL operates a mosque and office, with North Korea.

Nevertheless, the anti-terror strategy adopted by King Salman since he assumed the throne appears predicated on an impressive clarity and frankness. The February Mecca conference declared in its English-language program,

These juveniles and fool dreamers… with their reckless actions and careless audacity to spill innocent people's blood… have horrified honest people and terrorized Muslims and others… they shout 'there is no god but Allah,' and 'Allah is great.' To these zealots, these are empty slogans without any substance… this distorted campaign has committed horrible sins under the cover of Islam... The time has come for scholars, preachers and people of conscience to warn people against this scourge, and disavow it.

In its final communiqué, the conference condemned "the ideological deviation ... based on irrational concepts that govern the Muslims' relationship with others. These include jihad." The summary document stated that terrorism "has tarnished the image of Islam throughout the world," with "an unfounded wave of accusing people of apostasy, depravity and unacceptable theological] innovation… atrocities have been committed based on erroneous and unfounded interpretations… the stigma of terrorism is attached to Muslims.

The conference observed that,

sectarian strife, and mounting animosity among Muslims, have drawn them into conflicts, and driven them into warring factions. Their communities and their countries are on the verge of crumbling into small factional and ethnic feuding entities; distracted away from working for the best interests of their nation and civilization by these conflicts. Muslim minorities have been denuded of their potential. A wedge of enmity has been driven between them and their fellow citizens and communities. The relationship soured among compatriots of one single country, and has spoiled any chance of rapprochement... Thus, Muslims faced isolation and marginalization in their own homelands.

The idiom of the Mecca conference represents a difference from past rhetoric by Muslim leaders aimed only at dissociating radical Islam from the religion as a whole, or blaming the West for the problems within the faith. Much more is required to make a new commitment to self-examination among Muslims real. But as his predecessor, King Abdullah, adopted small but meaningful internal reforms, King Salman has begun a significant, more ambitious process, and we may hope he has the courage and stamina to carry it through.

SCA-1.jpg?width=263He says he didn’t know anything about it.

He’s said it before and we didn’t believe then so why on earth should we believe him now?

Late last week, Barack Hussein Obama  claimed that HE first heard about Hillary Clinton’s private email account, used by her for ALL…each and every bit of her sending and receiving of official communications throughout her ENTIRE reign as Secretary of State…when we ALL heard about it…“The same time everybody else learned it, through news reports.”

Bullcrap. He was lying. And here’s the PROOF…

Yesterday, according to spokesweasel Josh Earnest…“The president did email with Secretary Clinton. The president did, as I think many people expected, did over the course of his first several years in office exchange emails with his secretary of State.”

He could not have received and CERTAINLY could not have SENT emails from or TO that account…an account that clearly did not end in ‘state.gov’ without KNOWING that is was NOT an official GOVERNMENT account. Obama knew it all along and when he said he didn’t, until it came out in the media…he was flat-out lying.

An educated guess…Obama was trying to cover his own ass until he realized that there is a strong likelihood that some of those emails, between himself and Hillary are now in the hands of Trey Gowdy.

But there’s more…

Hilly Clinton, Master of Her Emails
Rep. Trey Gowdy's House committee re-investigating the attack on the Benghazi consulate subpoenaed Hilly Clinton Wednesday for her emails about Libya during her time as secretary of state. Turns out, Clinton had been operating her own email account based on a server she set up in her New York home -- and this gives her control of what information she releases. "I want the public to see my email," Clinton tweeted last night. "I asked State to release them. They said they will review them for release as soon as possible." But here's the kicker: Because Clinton herself controls the emails, the State Department can only release the emails she gives it, according to State spokeswoman Marie Harf. This runs afoul of every ideal of free and open government, as well as the law. Sen. Chuck Grassley said, "The trend of using private email for public business is detrimental to good government. The public's business ought to be public with few exceptions." Clinton promises transparency, though there is no way to verify that she is disclosing everything. And the fact she navigated the creation of a home-based email service that permanently deletes emails shows she is determined to be anything but. More...

Clinton's Email Was a National Security Threat
When Hilly Clinton set up a private email in her New York home, she invited the full brunt of Chinese and Russian cyber intelligence upon herself. The National Security Agency -- whose first duty is to actually provide cyber security -- was not protecting her account as it does with government email accounts. Her email also did not have Google or Yahoo security teams protecting it from hackers. Lead technologist for the ACLU Chris Soghoian told Wired Magazine, "Although the American people didn't know about [Hilly's email account], it's almost certain that foreign intelligence agencies did, just as the NSA knows which Indian and Spanish officials use Gmail and Yahoo accounts. She's not the first official to use private email and not the last. But there are serious security issue associated with these kinds of services." Furthermore, Clinton's team did not set up her encryption software correctly, akin to leaving home with an unlocked screen door to keep intruders out. When asked by a reporter if those emails contained classified information, State Department spokeswoman Marie Harf replied, "I don't think it's really a pertinent question."  Keystone Vote Doesn't Overcome nObama's Veto
Barack nObama's veto pen is strong. The Senate failed by five votes Wednesday to override nObama's veto of the Keystone XL pipeline. Even though eight Democrats voted with Republicans, the proposal only got 62 votes. Republicans say this is not the end to the pipeline, though. The bill's author, Sen. John Hoeven (R-ND), said, "If we don't win the battle today, we will win the war, because we will attach it to another piece of legislation." Already, Republicans are planning to attach a Keystone proposal to a transportation-funding bill that Congress must pass by May 31. If that fails, then lawmakers will attempt to tack Keystone to an energy bill later. This strategy may set up fights like the failed fight to defund nObama in his executive actions granting amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants. It should at least be entertaining. More...

Defense of Boston Marathon Bomber Admits He Did It
The trial of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev -- the co-conspirator of the Boston Marathon Bombing -- began in Boston Wednesday with his defense attorney admitting, "It was him." In the coming days of trial, defense attorney Judy Clarke will argue before the jury that Tsarnaev doesn't deserve the death penalty for his hand in planting two IEDs at the finish line of the Boston Marathon nearly two years ago. It was Tsarnaev's brother, Tamerlan, who became obsessed with jihad and pressured his brother "by his age, their culture and Tamerlan's sheer force of personality" into committing an act of terror. Clarke told the court, "It was Tamerlan Tsarnaev who self-radicalized. It was Dzhokhar who followed." That's the pivotal question, as that will determine what Tsarnaev's punishment will be.  IRS: We're Gonna Need Another Half Billion, OK?
IRS Commissioner John Koskinen told a Senate appropriations subcommittee Tuesday that the IRS just needs a little fiscal help to enforce nObamaCare. As in an additional $490.4 million in the next fiscal year. "This additional funding, the majority of which is for required information technology upgrades, will allow the IRS to increase efforts to ensure compliance with a number of tax-related provisions of the ACA, including the premium tax credit and individual shared responsibility provision," Koskinen said. "The funding will provide enhanced technology infrastructure and applications support, and allow necessary, major modifications to existing IRS tax administration systems." The timing is almost amusing, given that the Supreme Court heard arguments earlier Wednesday regarding subsidies on the federal exchange. Surely the IRS doesn't need another half a billion dollars to correctly read the statute? More...

Iran’s Cozy Relationship With The nObama White House
(rickwells.us) - Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is concerned about the expansion of Iran and the willingness of the current American ‘president’ to allow the threat they present to increase...He’s not alone in his concern; there are many Sunni Arab nations in the Middle East, as well as many Americans here at home who share those same fears. The very real potential for the nObama regime to allow Iran to obtain nuclear weapons only adds to the growing global anxiety. Joining Netanyahu in his uneasiness over the terrorist nation is Saudi Arabia, one of those Sunni Nations which faces a very uncertain future in the face of a nuclear-armed Iran. On Thursday, Saudi Foreign Minister Saud Al-Faisal echoed the words of the Israeli Prime Minister, accusing Iran of “taking over” Iraq and having their fingerprints all over Syria, Lebanon and Yemen.       http://www.rickwells.us/irans-cozy-relationship-with-the-obama-white-house-more-than-just-pen-pals-with-mutual-admiration/

Hilly Ordered Libyan Leader Gadaffi’s Death
(rickwells.us) - Retired Admiral James “Ace” Lyons is asked who he trusts more when it comes to the threat of Islamic terrorism and the situation in the Middle East, Hussein nObama or the Prime Minister of Israel...Lyons answers without hesitation, “Well, obviously the Prime Minister of Israel has it right. And what your listeners should know, you know there’s no difference between al-Qaeda, the Islamic State and the Muslim Brotherhood. They all have the same objective and that’s to impose Sharia Law in place of our Constitution.” He addresses Hussein nObama’s unwillingness to define the enemy, noting that “The problem is the penetration by the Muslim Brotherhood that has gone on for years but it has greatly accelerated under the nObama administration in penetrating all of our national security agencies, including the Joint Chiefs of Staff. They have carte blanche entre into the White House. They have in fact become a defective cabinet member.” Lyons adds, “And what you have to understand, the Muslim Brotherhood creed is to destroy the United States from within and replace our Constitution with Sharia Law. You have to ask yourself why would this ‘president’ embrace the Muslim Brotherhood.

Liberal California College Students Vote To Ban American Flag
(rickwells.us) - Every day brings another insult to Americans from the cesspool of collectivist idiocy that is the State of California...The latest insult to the American people comes at the hand upturned and empty of the Associated Students of University of California, Irvine. That group voted on Tuesday to remove all flags, the most offensive and predominate one being the American Flag, from an inclusive space on their campus. The reasons behind it were the usual political correctness and “intolerant tolerance.” Far from being proud of our nation, they are offended by our national symbol. The wise associated students would never dream of letting reality intrude into their utopian fantasyland. Although all of the students are adults, some apparently still lack the emotional development to cope with the concepts of national pride and patriotism. Therefore, as has become the customary practice, the symbols of America will be discarded in the interest of accommodation.       http://www.rickwells.us/liberal-california-college-students-vote-to-ban-american-flag-because-its-not-politically-correct-could-be-hate-speech/

 Iran is ‘taking over Iraq’
(Jim Emerson) - Because of Barack nObama’s lack of a real foreign policy, Prince Saud al-Faisal, the Saudi foreign minister is moving to have his country “take over Iraq“...At this point, the United States and its allies are only conducting an air war against the Islamic State but we will be sending ground troops soon. The lack of U.S. presence and policy will allow the Iranians to exert a greater influence over the Shia Government in Baghdad. Win or lose the Iraqis will aligned themselves with the Iranians because they saw the Muslim apologists in the White House abandoned them to Sunni terrorists.       http://www.coachisright.com/category/jim-emerson/

Gowdy Makes HUGE Bombshell Revelation on Hilly in Benghazi
(teapartypolitics.com) - Hilly did something so shocking, so illegal, even Democrats are freaking out over it...What might that have been?  Stop Shooting The Messenger!
(Bradlee Dean) - Last week was filled with high treason and assaults coming from members of this criminal administration toward those that they swore to serve (Article II, Section 4 of the U.S Constitution)...Of course, the American people believe, for some odd reason, that those who serve the people in this country have a lawful right to do the unlawful things they engage in. If it is not the nObama administration telling on itself by declaring that it will defend Muslim jihadists if they are attacked, then it is nObama looking to unconstitutionally take over local and state police. We also have Franklin Graham warning the American people that nObama is opening the doors for Christian persecution in America. Of course, he is. He has been warring against everything that is America for the last six years, namely America’s Christian heritage, as well as who we are under the Constitution.

President nObama, butt out of Alaska
(State Sen. Cathy Giessel ) - On a Sunday morning last month, President nObama showed once again his determination to stunt our state's development when he designated as a wilderness area the coastal plain of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge...This comes after his executive actions to close energy leasing in Bristol Bay and the Chukchi and Beaufort Seas. These decisions were all made without the support of Congress or Alaskan officials. The decision doesn't just affect Alaskans. Alaska is an energy artery to the United States. For more than twenty years, one-fifth of the nation's oil production traveled through our Trans Alaska Pipeline System (TAPS). This despite the fact that 60 percent of our land is in federal hands, and seven of the ten largest National Parks are in our state, along with the largest state park in the country. Americans drive cars running on Alaskan crude, and then fly oil-fueled planes to enjoy our scenic lands and wildlife.     http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/president-obama-please-butt-out-of-alaska/article/2561056?utm_campaign=Washington%20Examiner:%20Opinion%20Digest%20PMI&utm_source=Washington%20Examiner:%20Opinion%20Digest%20PMI%20-%2003/06/15&utm_medium=email

 EPA's toxic mess on transparency
(washingtonexaminer.com) - In August 2012, the conservative watchdog group Landmark Legal Foundation made a Freedom of Information Act request for records at the Environmental Protection Agency...specifically seeking records of any efforts to slow down the issue of new regulations until after the 2012 election. FOIA requests are supposed to be acknowledged and complied with very promptly. In this case, EPA bureaucrats did precisely what the Freedom of Information Act is intended to prevent — they slow-walked Landmark's request past the 2012 elections, so that voters could not use the information to make their decision. They used one form of government opacity (foot-dragging) to protect another (a secretive regulatory process). The incident raises an important question about government transparency in general. As the Roman poet Juvenal famously asked, "Who will guard the guards themselves?" Can bureaucrats be trusted when they are tasked with providing records of their own behavior? In this case, the answer is evidently no.       http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/epas-toxic-mess-on-transparency/article/2561130?utm_campaign=Washington%20Examiner:%20Opinion%20Digest%20PMI&utm_source=Washington%20Examiner:%20Opinion%20Digest%20PMI%20-%2003/06/15&utm_medium=email

Our Government Plans to Thank Our Military by Cutting...
(Sara Noble) - The government is planning to cut jobs, salaries and benefits of our military. Some of these people have served four tours of duty in combat zones. We know what the military faces when they go into these war zones. We’ve seen what these terrorists do...They should never have to worry about their pay, benefits or job security, not while they’re on active duty and not while they are retired. We are not only cutting the size of our military force, ships, equipment, arms, we are cutting salaries, retirement, healthcare and housing of the brave men and women who fight to protect the American people at great personal sacrifice. Even commissaries in the States will suffer cuts.       http://www.independentsentinel.com/our-government-plans-to-thank-our-military-by-cutting-their-jobs-pay-benefits-housing-retirement/

Hilly Busted Teaming Up With Third World Country in Corruption
(conservativetribune.com) - Hilly Clinton’s pile of dirty laundry is growing larger by the day and we still have a year to go before the campaign really heats up for the presidency...Reports from a new book exposing Clinton’s list of scandals say that her brother, Tom Rodham, was the head of one of two companies granted an extremely rare “gold exploitation permit” from the corrupt third world country of Haiti. The permit was issued in 2012 following a staggering $3.1 billion in aid that Clinton’s State Department sent to the country after it suffered a massive earthquake in 2010. Making matters worse, Rodham’s tiny, so-called mining company, VCS Mining, then made a convenient addition to their board — former Haitian Prime Minister Jean-Max Bellerive. The same man also acts as Bill Clinton’s co-chair of the Interim Haiti Recovery Commission. Just coincidence, right?       http://conservativetribune.com/hillary-third-world-corruption/?utm_source=feedblitz&utm_medium=FeedBlitzEmail&utm_content=936184&utm_campaign=0

BN-HD491_noonan_republicancandidates_20150226120543.jpg

(peggynoonan.com) - Thoughts on the 2016 primaries:

No one expects anything from the Democrats. They will back, accept or acquiesce in a coronation. This will not be called passive but disciplined. But when you think about it—one of our two major parties, in a time of considerable national peril, will settle its presidential nomination without vigorous debate—it is weird and disturbing.

Republicans are the action, and will draw all the lightning. A read on where the base—huge, broad and varied, including but not limited to attendees of this week’s Conservative Political Action Conference—is:

Republicans this year are not looking for Reagan. They’re looking for Churchill. They’re looking for the guy who knows the war is already here, not the guy who knows the war can be averted if we defeat the guys who would wage it. What is “the war”? Everything from scarily sluggish economic growth to long-term liabilities and deficits; from the melting away of the post-World-War-II order to the Mideast to domestic terrorism. Every four years there is frustration and argument; this year there is urgency.

What the Republican Party needs in a presidential candidate is not a centrist who can make the sale to conservatives in the primaries; it is a conservative who can win over centrists in the general election. That means the Republican nominee should be a man or woman who can redefine conservative thinking for current circumstances and produce policies that centrists and independents will find worthy of consideration.

Jeb Bush is said by some and treated by many as the front-runner, the one to beat. I don’t see it. In fact I think he’s making a poor impression.

It’s a commonplace to say nobody’s watching this early. But some people are, especially activists in the base and the mainstream media, which is picking up impressions that will harden into widespread clichés. What are they seeing?

Mr. Bush is spending much of his time in The Rooms—offices and conference rooms—with millionaires and billionaires. Money in politics is very important, and Mr. Bush makes a great impression on the denizens of The Rooms. He speaks their language. They like his experience, the fluency with which he speaks of domestic policy. Here his family name helps him; they know he is politically vetted, a successful former governor, is respectful of the imperatives of business, and is bottom-line sane.

It is going so well that Patrick O’Connor of the Journal reported this week the Bush team is asking fundraisers who want to join the campaign’s top tier to collect $500,000 by the end of March. But veteran bundlers expect it will cost more “to reach the inner circle . . . because deep-pocketed donors have been so eager to write big checks.”

All this reflects a deliberate allocating of the candidate’s time. The Bush campaign will vacuum up money now and be interesting and compelling later. They’re trying to force rivals out of the race by picking up their potential donors and leaving nothing but crumbs.

Mr. Bush’s operation is also, according to the New York Times, muscling party strategists and policy specialists to advise only him and no one else. Again a message is sent: Be with us now or we’ll remember later. It sounds tough and Clintonian. Actually it looks less like a sales pitch than a hostile takeover.

There’s something tentative and joyless in Mr. Bush’s public presentations. He isn’t mixing it up with voters or wading into the crowd. So far he is not good at the podium. His recent foreign-policy speech was both bland and jangly, and its one memorable statement—“I am my own man”—was the kind of thing a candidate shouldn’t have to say.

What is most missing so far is a fierce sense of engagement, a passionate desire to lead America out of the morass, a fiery—or Churchillian—certainty that he is the man for the moment. In its place we see a softer, wanner I’m smart, accomplished, know policy, and it’s my turn.

I am not sure Mr. Bush likes the base. If he doesn’t, it would explain some of his discomfort. I am wondering if he sees the base as a challenge, not a home, something he has to manage, not something he is of. He was perhaps referring to this in December when he said you have “to lose the primary to win the general.” Actually you have to win it, but to really succeed you have to show you share the base’s heart, that you understand its beginning points and align with it on essentials. When you disagree with it you address those issues among friends, and with confidence. You can’t cover up differences in a passive-aggressive way—at their feet when you really want to be at their throat.

A certain resistance to the idea of Mr. Bush is bubbling up among some journalists and intellectuals. In an arresting piece in the Atlantic, David Frum asked if he is the Republican nObama —essentially bicultural, interested in transforming a nation he finds lacking. “Both Jeb Bush and Barack nObama are men who have openly and publicly struggled with their ambivalence about their family inheritance. Both responded by leaving the place of their youth to create new identities for themselves: Barack nObama, as an organizer in the poor African-American neighborhoods of Chicago; Jeb Bush in Mexico, Venezuela, and at last in Cuban-influenced Miami. Both are men who have talked a great deal about the feeling of being ‘between two worlds,’ ” Mr. nObama in his books and Mr. Bush in his speeches. “Both chose wives who would more deeply connect them to their new chosen identity. Both derived from their new identity a sharp critique of their nation as it is. Both have built their campaign for president upon a deep commitment to fundamental transformation of their nation into what they believe it should be.”

Jim Geraghty of National Review writes of “considerable evidence that there’s a lot of Jeb-skepticism out there among conservatives.” Jay Cost of the Weekly Standard says Mr. Bush may be “cornering the market” on professional Republicans but asks: “What is the case for a Bush restoration, beyond the fact that it would make the professional GOP comfortable once again? Why should average Republican primary voters—the insurance salesmen and truck drivers, not pollsters and policy advisers—choose Jeb over Scott Walker, Chris Christie , Ted Cruz, or the dozen other potential nominees?”

These are respected voices read by many conservatives.

Finally, this week’s polls—yes, it’s early—offer Mr. Bush little comfort. A Quinnipiac poll in Iowa has him coming in fifth, behind Mr. Walker, Rand Paul , Ben Carson and Mike Huckabee . Chris Cillizza of the Washington Post noted the really bad news for Mr. Bush is that he was well known among respondents “and not all that well liked”—41% favorable to 40% unfavorable. A national survey from Public Policy Polling shows Mr. Walker in the lead at 25%, with Mr. Carson at 18%, and Mr. Bush in third place with 17%.

The road is long. Maybe Jeb Bush will succeed. But no one should bow to his inevitability. He doesn’t have a better chance with Republican voters than some other possible candidates, and may have less.

It’s Too Easy to Get Guns, Obama Grumbles

Barack Obama thinks it’s way too easy to buy a gun, and he wants to “fix” that. “As long as you can go in some neighborhoods and it is easier for you to buy a firearm than it is for you to buy a book – there are neighborhoods where it is easier for you to buy a handgun and clips than it is for you to buy a fresh vegetable – as long as that’s the case, we’re going to continue to see unnecessary violence,” Obama warned at a town hall meeting at Benedict College. Clearly frustrated with Congress for not fully exploiting the murders at Sandy Hook Elementary in 2012 to pass gun control, Obama complained, “I thought … what happened at Sandy Hook would make us think about it. You would have thought that’s got to be enough of a motivator. But we couldn’t get it done.” Without Congress, he said, “It is difficult to reduce the availability of guns.” That is his goal, after all. However, he added, “We’ve tried to get as much done administratively” as possible.

Indeed he has. The ATF is considering a ban on M855 ammunition, which is widely used in AR-15s. And “considering” is probably not strong enough a word, as the ATF recently published the new regulation in its 2014 Regulation Guide, released in January. When Townhall’s Katie Pavlichcalled them out, the ATF backtracked and claimed it was a “publishing mistake” – that the regulation was not finalized. Unfortunately, that doesn’t mean the ban won’t take effect, just that the ATF announced prematurely. Obama has 700 days, a phone and a pen. He won’t stop with green-tip ammo.

In Selma, Obama Slams ‘Voter Suppression’ Laws

Speaking in Selma Saturday for the 50th anniversary of the civil rights march there, Barack Obama told marchers that today’s voter ID laws are commensurate with what plagued blacks 50 years ago. “Right now, in 2015, 50 years after Selma, there are laws across this country designed to make it harder for people to vote,” Obama complained. “As we speak, more of such laws are being proposed. Meanwhile, the Voting Rights Act – the culmination of so much blood, so much sweat and tears, the product of so much sacrifice in the face of wanton violence – the Voting Rights Act stands weakened, its future subject to political rancor. How can that be? The Voting Rights Act was one of the crowning achievements of our democracy, the result of Republican and Democratic efforts. President [Ronald] Reagan signed its renewal when he was in office. President George W. Bush signed its renewal when he was in office. One hundred members of Congress have come here today to honor people who were willing to die for the right to protect it. If we want to honor this day, let that hundred go back to Washington and gather four hundred more, and together pledge to make it their mission to restore that law this year. That’s how we honor those on this bridge.” Requiring that voting citizens prove who they are – just as if they were buying alcohol – is not “suppressing the vote.” That’s especially true in a nation in which Obama has just legalized nearly five million illegals. He’s misrepresenting history for political gain. More…

NY Times Lets Obama Set Agenda for Selma Remembrance

Read the headline and examine the picture of The New York Times' front cover after political leaders commemorated the 50-year anniversary of the march at Selma, and you’d think the whole event was all about Barack Obama. The Times highlighted his quote, “We know the march is not yet over,” in the headline, and the photo of the event featured a white-shirted Obama linking arms with Rep. John Lewis, who was at the original march. Obama’s speech linked what happened 50 years ago to the recent unrest in Ferguson, Missouri. Yet the Times' coverage all but ignored the GOP presence at the march. George W. Bush was in the front line of marchers, but The Times cropped him out of the picture. The media lambasted GOP leaders for skipping the march, though Bush and House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy were there. One notable absence was Hillary Clinton, who decided it was more important to attend a Clinton Global Initiative event in Florida than commemorate a seminal moment in the civil rights movement. The Left tried to co-opt the event for two purposes: First, to smear Republicans who stayed home. Second, to mold the civil rights narrative for political ends. And, as always, the New York Times helped them do it. More…

Holder Warns Police: We’re Coming After You

In the wake of the Justice Department’s predictable findings of racist police in Ferguson, Attorney General Eric Holder fired a shot across the bow. “We are prepared to use all the powers that we have, all the power that we have, to ensure that the situation changes there,” Holder said Friday. “That means everything from working with them to coming up with an entirely new structure.” In other words, the Ferguson Police Department is on notice. But not just Ferguson. “I hope [police departments around the nation are] listening to these comments, and understand the intensity with which the feelings are felt at the federal government level to ensure that we use all the tools that we can to make sure that what happened in Ferguson is uncovered and simply does not happen in any other part of the country,” Holder added. “But I also want to make people understand, there are 18,000 police departments in this country, and I think what we saw in Ferguson was an anomaly.” We’d say that’s a pretty clear sign of what will be on incoming AG Loretta Lynch’s agenda.

Hillary Clinton Has Always Avoided a Paper Trail

Hillary Clinton borders on paranoia when it comes to documenting her work, as if she considers transparency and oversight the enemy. In 1994, she said she didn’t even keep a diary. “It could get subpoenaed! I don’t write anything down,” she said. Recently, a video surfaced of a 2001 ABC report that shows Clinton saying she didn’t use email: “As much as I’ve been investigated and all of that, you know, why would I – I don’t even want – why would I ever want to do email?” But now, it turns out that crafty grandma was running her own email server – which can permanently delete emails. Head of the House committee investigating the attack on the Benghazi consulate in 2012, Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC), said Clinton has kept emails from his committee’s investigation. “There are gaps of months of months of months,” he said. “If you think to that iconic picture of her on a C-17 flying to Libya … we have no emails from that day. In fact we have no emails from that trip.” Unlike Lois Lerner’s emails, Clinton’s may be gone for good. As “clueless” as ever, Barack Obama distanced himself from the former secretary of state, trotting out his tired old excuse that he learned about the scandal “through news reports.” Sure thing.

RIGHT ANALYSIS

Paying to Pray?

2015-03-09-e314214c.jpg

A funny thing happened in the South Florida city of Lake Worth. It appears the local government has given churches the idea they must pay a fee to exercise their constitutionally protected right to worship as they please. In fact, in a move that smacks of totalitarianism, one particular church was singled out for “observation” by a hoodie-wearing code enforcement officer who compiled an official Case Narrative that reads like a bad detective novel.

In the city’s crosshairs is a Southern Baptist institution known as the Common Ground Church. The church owns and operates a coffee house in the downtown area, and for the last three months it has used it to hold weekly worship services. Previously the congregation rented space at other facilities in the area.

Common Ground Pastor Mike Olive spoke with Fox News' Todd Starnes and told him problems began arising last month following an encounter with City Commissioner Andy Amoroso. “After we opened up the coffee bar and started doing services, I heard that he told people we were anti-gay,” Olive told Starnes. “So I went to his shop to ask him about that.” Despite Olive’s insistence that his church is all about loving God and loving people, and that his message to the gay community “is the same as it is to the straight community,” Amoroso remained unconvinced, warning the pastor that he’d “better not have a church down there.”

Amoroso may have a personal axe to grind. According to the Keep the Faith News website, Amoroso runs a newsstand and a gay-pornography business in Lake Worth. Shortly after Olive and Amoroso’s meeting, an “anonymous complaint” was lodged, precipitating the compliance officer’s visit last month.

That city-code enforcement officer is Gerard A. Coscia, who spent two Sundays in a row watching Common Ground Church hold services at the Common Ground Coffee House. On Feb. 8, Coscia secretly filmed the service. The following Sunday he came back, handed Olive’s associate pastor his business card – and told him the church has one week to vacate the building.

As his report indicates, Coscia brought his inner author and CIA wannabe tendencies to the task. “I walked back to the Coffee Bar and was able to visualize, in my opinion what appeared to be a ministry in progress,” his report states. “There was the following going on inside the Coffee Bar: Someone speaking from a podium. A [sic] overhead TV or projection with scripture verse on it. Rows of people sitting in chairs on both sides like a gathering setting. People holding what appeared to be bibles or religious books as one had a cross on it.”

Coscia further revealed he conducted a Google search, discovering that the church actually existed at the address he investigated, that Olive was a preacher, and that there was a calendar of service times. Coscia’s ultimate analysis? “I inspected the property and found the following violations: Business rental property found without a current City of Lake Worth Business license, specifically to operate as a church, or a house of Worship.”

Lake Worth community sustainability director William Waters insisted the city had nothing against the church and was merely responding to the aforementioned complaint. Waters further claimed the city “couldn’t give preferential treatment to churches versus other businesses.”

A church thus becomes a business, and Waters explained that every business in the community received letters regarding permits and fees. Joan Abell, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, confirmed that reality, producing a letter from the city warning, “[I]t shall be unlawful for any person or business, directly or indirectly, to engage in or conduct any business profession or occupation in the city, without first making an application for, and having obtained a city of Lake Worth business license.”

Abell was upset, saying, “We’ve been there 99 years and we’ve never had to have a license. Where do you all of a sudden say the church has to have a license to gather and pray?”

After this story became national news, the city backtracked, denying claims it had threatened anyone. “This is entirely a big misunderstanding,” said Mayor Pam Triolo. “The city’s intention is not to penalize churches in any way, shape or form. No, there’s no fee to pray.”

The report by Coscia and the letter sent to Abell say otherwise.

Adding to the city’s woes is attorney Mat Staver, founder of Liberty Counsel, a law firm specializing in religious liberty. He sent a letter to City Manager Michael Bornstein, explaining that churches are not businesses and don’t need licenses to operate, that the city’s own laws exempt churches regardless, and that even the occupational licenses and taxes they are now attempting to collect “are an exclusive prerogative of the Florida legislature.” He asks the city to stop collecting business fees, refund those they have collected, and provide written assurance of both.

“Government employees are public servants and prohibited by the Constitution from inhibiting religious freedom,” he explains.

Nevertheless, the city insists the congregation still needs a use and occupancy certificate for “safety purposes” separate from the one for the coffee bar.

The Patriot Post spoke with Olive, who remains optimistic about his future in the city despite local blogger Wes Blackman taking him to task for a “ridiculous non-story,” one “giving our little City a black eye on the national stage.”

“We’re not mad at the city,” Olive explained. “I live here. I work here. We love the city and when people ask me why we’re giving the city a black eye, I tell them were not. The city has a black eye and we want be the ‘ice’ that brings healing to Lake Worth.”

Such healing may be temporary. Oliver also revealed that “police have told us we can’t hand out Gospel tracts because it violates Lake Worth’s panhandling law, which is one of the most aggressive in Palm Beach County.” Handing out what Christians believe is the word of God constitutes panhandling? You’ve got another “misunderstanding” to address, Mayor Triolo.

Right-to-Work Comes to Wisconsin

2015-03-09-9117b502.jpg

Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker on Monday signed right-to-work legislation, making “America’s Dairyland” the 25th state with laws preventing mandatory union membership and payment of dues. It’s both good for Wisconsin’s economy and is a feather in Walker’s presidential cap.

Through a section of the 1947 Taft-Hartley Act, states were permitted to enact legislation that allowed contracts to be signed between unions and businesses requiring workers at the particular company to pay labor fees, and legally binding those companies to fire workers who refused to join the union. Section 14B of this Act specifically noted that a right-to-work law would prevent such extortion.

Union members make up about 8% of Wisconsin’s current labor force. Just 30 years ago that number was 22%. Indeed, nationwide, labor unions are losing the muscle that once made them mighty – because their numbers have dwindled for the last three decades.

Walker’s tenure as Wisconsin governor has been marked by freeing the entire labor market from the chokehold of union membership. Upon his initial election in 2010, Walker went to work with the State Assembly to dismantle public-sector unions. The Wisconsin Act 10 eliminated collective bargaining for state workers, including teachers, addressed extravagant benefits and pension promises, and protected the state from a $3.6 billion budget deficit. That battle sent Walker to national prominence.

The 2011 Republican-led reform successfully implemented by Walker hit the same funding mechanism in public-sector unions as will now impact private-sector unions: forced dues payment.

Currently, detractors of right-to-work laws argue wage suppression will result without mandatory labor union representation. But that’s just not backed up by the facts.

For example, in 2012, Michigan became a right-to-work state under the leadership of Republican Governor Rick Snyder, also elected in 2010, and the Michigan Legislature. By 2013, its per-capita personal income rose to $39,215 from $38,291 in 2012. And by 2014, more than 8,000 teachers had made the decision not to pay union dues, while total union membership dropped almost two percentage points in the first full year of the law’s implementation.

It’s certainly interesting that as soon as people have the right to work without union interference union participation drops and incomes rise. It implies that, unless unions have some legal leverage enabling forced participation and extortion, they are undesirable and ineffective.

The reason is simple: Right-to-work laws give workers the opportunity to pursue employment without having to pay dues to unions, who frequently use that money to secure political power at the expense of worker protections. Right-to-work allows for greater access to jobs, while a government mandated minimum wage prices some prospective workers out of those jobs. Which one makes more sense if creating jobs is the objective?

OPINION IN BRIEF

The Gipper: “I’ve always believed that we are, each of us, put here for a reason, that there is a plan, somehow a divine plan for all of us.”

Columnist Peggy Noonan: “The press is painting all this as a story about how Mrs. Clinton, in her love for secrecy and control, has given ammunition to her enemies. But that’s not the story. The story is that this is what she does, and always has. The rules apply to others, not her. She’s special, entitled, exempt from the rules – the rules under which, as the Federalist reports, the State Department in 2012 forced the resignation of a U.S. ambassador, ‘in part for setting up an unsanctioned private e-mail system.’ Why doesn’t the legacy press swarm her on this? Because she is political royalty. They are used to seeing her as a regal, queenly figure. They’ve been habituated to understand that Mrs. Clinton is not to be harried, not to be subjected to gotcha questions or impertinent grilling. She is a Democrat, a star, not some grubby Republican governor from nowhere. … An aspect of the story goes beyond criticism of Mrs. Clinton and gets to criticism of us. A generation or two ago, a person so encrusted in a reputation for scandal would not be considered a possible presidential contender. She would be ineligible. Now she is inevitable.”

Columnist Star Parker: “Why do we need a new federal law to protect those whose religious convictions see marriage as it has been understood for our whole national history? Because a war is taking place in our country to delegitimize religion and to use every means of legal aggression to make it impossible for those with traditional biblical faith to live according to their convictions in their public lives. … Can it really be, now that homosexual activists have won victories to redefine the meaning of marriage, that anyone adhering in their public life to their traditional religious convictions breaks the law? Will one day a pastor preaching from the pulpit wind up in a lawsuit? Can it really be that it is not enough for homosexual activists to legally do what they want? That they won’t rest until those that refuse to accept these lifestyles are destroyed? This is not freedom and this is not America. This is a fight for the heart and soul of our country. Politicians who give lip service to American freedom but who will not fight for the very values that make our freedom possible, the values on which our nation was built, don’t belong in positions of leadership.”

Mr. nObama’s Nov. 20 announcement offered a number of different benefits to illegal immigrants, including expanding eligibility for his 2012 amnesty for Dreamers and boosting the amount of time he was granting an amnesty form deportation and permits for legal work from two years to three years.  NOT JUST BIBI: PRESSURE GROWS TO NIX DEAL ON IRAN   NUKES
Reuters: “U.S. Secretary of State Hanoi John Kerry flies to Riyadh this week to try to reassure King Salman that any nuclear deal with Iran will be in Saudi interests, despite the kingdom's fears that it may boost Tehran's backing for Shi'ite Muslim groups in the region. … While the main critics of the U.S. push for a nuclear deal with Iran are Israel and Congressional Republicans, Sunni Muslim powerhouse Saudi Arabia is also concerned that an accord would allow Iran to devote more cash and energy to Shi'ite proxies in Syria, Iraq, Lebanon and Yemen, escalating conflicts. ‘The Saudis fear nObama will give the Iranians a deal whatever the cost because it is important for his legacy and that Iran will get a certain regional status in exchange for an agreement,’ said one diplomat in the Gulf.”

 WALKER BACKS LATE-TERM ABORTION BAN
Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel: “Gov. Wisconsin Right to Life has touted as its top priority legislation that has yet to be introduced that would prevent women from seeking abortions in most cases after 20 weeks. Walker said in last year's campaign he opposed abortion, but refused to say whether he supported banning the procedure after 20 weeks…In a Tuesday letter, he addressed specific legislation head on. ‘As the Wisconsin legislature moves forward in the coming session, further protections for mother and child are likely to come to my desk in the form of a bill to prohibit abortions after 20 weeks,’ his letter said. ‘I will sign that bill when it gets to my desk and support similar legislation on the federal level.  ORANGE YOU GLAD I DIDN’T SAY BANANA?
Did you know about the war on knock-knock jokes? NPR examined the history and evolution of knock-knock jokes, or as they were originally known, “do you know” jokes, e.g. “Do you know Arthur?” “Arthur who?” “Arthurmometer!” Pun haters at the start of the 20th century believed that such drivel couldn’t last. Not only did it last but intensified with the knock-knock format in the 1930s. Central Pennsylvania seems to have been the epicenter of the boom, with special credit belonging to radio station WKBO in Harrisburg, which marked the selection of Frank Knox as the 1936 Republican vice presidential nominee a day of the jokes. Get it? Knox-Knox. Clubs of knock-knock lovers, musical numbers and appearances in movie scripts followed as craze intensified, as did the corresponding loathing among sophisticates. In time, the jokes receded to being mostly kids’ stuff, as they provide a great formula for young jokesters who are learning about comedic timing. When they were gone from mainstream life, the haters could finally greet Miss Zellitsover at the door. You know… Gladys Zellitsover.  -Fox News

Media Cheerleading for nObamacare Victory at Supreme Court

A recent Washington Post editorial even suggests that the Supreme Court, which heard arguments for this case on March 4, should avoid tearing “apart a law that has slowly but surely found its footing.” The idea that nObamacare—a job-killing law that is unaffordable and unworkable, coupled with more than 20,000 pages of added regulations causing perverse effects on the marketplace—has “surely found its footing” is part of a false narrative created jointly by pro-administration advocates and a media willing to justify the burdensome restrictions this has placed on the American people.       http://www.aim.org/aim-column/media-cheerleading-for-obamacare-victory-at-supreme-court/?utm_source=AIM+-+Daily+Email&utm_campaign=email030615&utm_medium=email

Michigan Town passes sharia resolution against ‘islamophobia’
(pamelageller.com) - The Michigan Taylor City Council unanimously approved a resolution Tuesday that supports a campaign against sharia under the guise of “hate based on religion.” Islamic supremacism as law...Jihadists are conducting a genocide against Christians across the world and US politicians are passing resolutions prohibiting criticism of genocide, gender apartheid, creed apartheid, misogyny and Islamic Jew-hatred. Islamic supremacists are embedding themselves in school boards, town councils, etc., to impose Islam on secular American society. Embedded Muslims and their well-paid stooges in local governments are passing resolutions to impose the sharia — to prohibit criticism of Islam and jihad.  On Iran, the White House Should Respond Seriously to Netanyahu
(Alan M. Dershowitz) - Contrary to what critics have claimed, war is not the only alternative to the deal with Iran currently being considered by Washington. Now, Alan Dershowitz argues...the nObama administration is obliged to answer the Israeli prime minister’s proposals for a better deal: The decision to accept or reject a deal with Iran over its nuclear-weapons program may be the most important foreign-policy issue of the 21st century. Many members of Congress, perhaps most, agree with the prime minister of Israel rather than with the president of the United States on this issue. . . . Perhaps the president can persuade Congress to support this deal, but [his administration] must engage with, rather than ignore, our duly elected representatives of the people. . . .       http://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/5326/netanyahu-iran-proposal

Facing an Existential Threat: Christians Living in Islamic Lands
(Jack Kerwick) - In spite of what Barack nObama would have us believe, he was as much in tune to Benjamin Netanyahu’s address to Congress this week as was anyone and everyone else in the world...But exclusive focus on American/Israeli and Israeli/Islamic relations threatens to blind us to the fierce, unrelenting oppression with which Christians throughout the world are routinely forced to reckon courtesy of their Islamic neighbors. Throughout the Islamosphere in Africa and the Middle East, men, women, and children have been subjected en masse to unspeakable acts of cruelty. Jihadists, while pillaging and burning homes and churches, have laid waste to whole communities. Families have been destroyed as husbands and fathers were bludgeoned, beheaded, and burned to death; wives and mothers raped, beaten, and starved; young boys forced to convert to Islam and take up arms on behalf of their captors; and young girls enslaved and sold off to become either wives to grown men or human missiles—i.e. suicide bombers.   http://www.frontpagemag.com/2015/jack-kerwick/facing-an-existential-threat-christians-living-in-islamic-lands/?utm_source=FrontPage+Magazine&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=b7ea720923-Mailchimp_FrontPageMag&utm_term=0_57e32c1dad-b7ea720923-156509103

He Can’t Negotiate Iran Treaty Alone, Senate Must Advise And Consent
(rickwells.us) - Greta Van Susteren notes that both she and Hussein nObama attended and taught at law schools and both studied the same United States Constitution. She offers him a refresher in recognition of his failure of act in accordance with its mandates...She says, “Article 2, section 2, clause 2 includes the treaty clause, which empowers the President to propose and negotiate agreements between the United States and other nations, which become treaties after, yes after, the advice and consent of a super-majority of the U.S. Senate.” She points out, “That means the ‘president’ has no power to make a deal solely with Iran, solely alone, he can’t do that. Presidents are not kings, they’re not dictators, and under our Constitution the President of the United States has broad powers but by no means absolute powers.” The Senate is 'We the People'.       http://www.rickwells.us/in-case-constitutional-expert-obama-forgot-he-cant-negotiate-iran-treaty-alone-senate-must-advise-and-consent/

JW claims E-mail Was Government Issue and Then Cover-up
(nicedeb.wordpress.com) - Tom Fitton of Judicial Watch was on The Kelly File, Thursday night, to talk about his group’s years-long efforts to get Hilly Clinton’s emails from the State Department. Six+ years of document requests had turned up nothing... “It was notable,” Fitton said. “So notable that we filed additional lawsuits just to make sure they didn’t have an out not to give us the material.” He said they ended up dismissing one lawsuit after the State Dept told them that they had searched her office and didn’t find anything. “They had an obligation to tell us,” Fitton declared. “They’re not only lying to us, they’re messing with the courts – and this is a seven year cover-up. The administration knew this from the beginning. As soon as she began using this email account – and it’s not a private email account. It was a government account that was disguised and hidden from the American people.”

 The new government bourgeoisie
(Daniel Bongino) - The Hilly Clinton email saga is an outrageous story. This is not a story about email etiquette, it’s a story about the new government bourgeoisie...The new government bourgeoisie are a class of high-ranking government officials who operate by a separate and distinct set of rules. The rules they live by are not the rules the rest of America lives by. They are not the rules the rest of the federal workforce lives by either. If, during my time as a Secret Service agent ensuring her security, I had purchased a private email server and conducted all of my official government business on it, I likely would have been immediately terminated. It’s not a coincidence that trust in government is at a near all-time low. Working Americans understand that there are two different Americas; one for the connected insider-class, and one for the “little people.”
It's All Bad News for nObamaCare
Alan Caruba
AA%2B-%2BObamacare%2Bis%2BShovel%2BReady.jpg
(factsnotfantasy.blogspot.com) - On Wednesday, March 4, the Supreme Court will hear the King v. Burwell case. It is likely to deliver a death blow to nObamaCare when the decision is announced in a few months. About the only good thing nObamaCare demonstrated is that the federal government should be kept from taking over sectors of the nation’s economy that are working just fine without it.

Health care expert Edmund Haislmaier and legal expert, both of The Heritage Foundation, provided an explanation of the case. “The question before the Supreme Court is whether the nObama administration overstepped its authority in issuing an IRS ruling that conflicts with the nObamaCare statute. The statute allows payment of nObamaCare subsidies only to individuals who obtain coverage ‘through an Exchange established by a State.’”

nObamaCare got such a cold reception nationwide that 34 States refused to set up an exchange, forcing the feds to do it. Those exchanges distributed subsidies to individuals participating in them, but the nObamaCare statute “seemingly did not authorize subsidies in such cases.” Suffice to say that nObamaCare health insurance is considerably more costly than what one could have previously purchased on one’s own; thus the need for the subsidies gambit.

Heartland%2B-%2BHealth%2BCare%2BNews.png
The February edition of Health Care News, published by The Heartland Institute was filled with articles attesting to the failure of nObamaCare. Here are a few excerpts from them.
Devon M. Herrick, Ph.D., a health economist and senior fellow at the National Center for Policy Analysis, noted “nObama touts the claim (that) millions more people are now covered under health care insurance policies through employer plans. However, research has shown exchange subsidies will cause employers to drop coverage…Mandatory benefits are not free; workers bear the cost in the form of lower wages.”

Dr. Herrick added, “nObama said (in his State of the Union speech that) ‘in the past year alone about ten million uninsured Americans finally gained the security of health coverage,’ but he neglected to mention roughly 6 million were coverage through Medicaid expansion and many of them were finding it difficult to find doctors willing to work for the paltry fees state Medicaid programs pay doctors for treatment.”

An article by Matthew Glans, a Heartland senior policy analyst, noted that “The Health and Welfare Committee of the Tennessee Senate voted on February 5 to reject a bill that would have allowed Gov. Bill Haslam to expanded Medicare under the Affordable Care Act.”

Kenneth Artz reported that “A new study by the Office of Inspector General for the Department of Health and Human Services found half of all providers listed in Medicaid managed-care plans are not available to new Medicaid patients, either because they are not at the listed location or aren’t accepting new Medicaid patients.” Feeling ill? “For doctors who are accepting new Medicaid patients, the average wait time to get an appointment is two weeks, with close to 25% of patient having waits of one month or longer.”

Tom Steward, writing for the Minnesota Bureau of Watchdog.org, contributed to Health Care News noted that “In a significant victory for religious liberty and economic freedom, the American Manufacturing Company received a permanent federal exemption from provisions of the Affordable Care Act that contradict the owner’s religious convictions.”

Sean Parnell, the managing editor of Health Care News, reported that “Rhode Island officials predicted up to 100,000 residents would use the state-created exchange established under the Affordable Care Act to buy health insurance in 2014. Data from the state show only 27,961 people enrolled during the 2014 open-enrollment period, a number that declined throughout the year as many enrollees failed to pay their first premium or later dropped coverage.”

nObamaCare is on critical care because it could die at any time. Not surprisingly, three Republicans, John Kline, Paul Ryan, and Fred Upton, chairmen respectively of the House Committee on Education and Workforce, Ways and Means, and Energy and Commerce, have put together a plan to address the likelihood that the Supreme Court decision will put an end to nObamaCare.

As they said in a recent Wall Street Journal commentary, “If the court rules against the administration, as any fair reading of the law would demand, millions of individuals and families will hit a major roadblock. They’ll be stuck with health insurance designed by Washington, D.C., that they can’t afford.”
“What we propose is the off-ramp out of nObamaCare toward patient-centered health care. It has two parts: First, make insurance more affordable by ending Washington mandates and giving choice back to the states, individuals and families. And, second, support Americans in purchasing the coverage of their choosing.”

What a unique idea! Let people choose the health care plan they want and that they can afford. That’s the way it used to be before the Affordable Care Act was passed entirely by Democrat votes because the GOP would not support it. That’s why Congress is controlled by the GOP these days. And that’s why this nation will return to the free marketplace.

The Commando vs. the Community Organizer
In a much-anticipated and contentious address to Congress, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Tuesday spoke bluntly about the threat posed by the Islamic Republic of Iran's pursuit of nuclear weapons. He was downright presidential -- something our nation has sorely lacked for the last six years. Netanyahu's 45-minute speech recounted Iran's past acts of terror, its continued call for the destruction of Israel, its recent success in spreading malign influence and control through the Middle East, and its track record of cheating and lying to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). Netanyahu drew a line in the sand, and Barack nObama's response will no doubt be on the wrong side. Indeed, nObama immediately claimed there was "nothing new" in the prime minister's speech, and in a sense he's right: The facts about Iran are not new, nor are they in dispute, even among those currently negotiating with Iran. The key point is that Netanyahu and like-minded people believe the deal toward which nObama is working rewards Iran with a path to nuclear weapons rather than preventing Iran from obtaining them -- something even the nObama administration still says would be "unacceptable." nObama obviously resents that a leader of Netanyahu's stature would attempt to upset the diplomatic apple cart by speaking the plain truth at a time when the nObama administration seems determined to ignore the truth in pursuit of a deal --any deal-The Patriot Post

NO ENTITLEMENT REFORM: HILLY EMAIL SCANDAL REVEALS   CORE WEAKNESS
If you were one of the many, many people running the second presidential campaign of Hilly Clinton, what is one thing you absolutely, positively, double-dog, by-jiminy would not want your candidate to be doing tonight? Other than perhaps hosting an event on electronic transparency for the exiled government of Libya, Clinton has found absolutely the worst place to be. She is going to attend a gala at a super-posh venue on Wall Street for her family foundation. Woof. Hitting what reportedly will be a glitzy event to raise more money from the global upper crust for a foundation at the center of a fundraising fiasco would be bad enough for the presumptive Democratic nominee even without the bizarre new and continually expanding scandal surrounding her private emails at the State Department. Prior to the new revelations, Clinton might have been able to blow off the press, schmooze with the .0001 percent and get back on the trail. But the revelations will turn tonight into a public embarrassment fitted like Versace gown for political attacks rather than a private indulgence.  -Fox News

Enablers -   One can’t blame Clinton for the bad timing. She certainly knew that dodging transparency and accountability measures would result in a scandal, but she couldn’t have known when. (When you are operating a “homebrew” server out of your house for official emails, you probably aren’t figuring it’s no big deal.) She must have imagined that she could ride out the bad press and that the disruption would be worth the advantages offered by secrecy and unaccountability. One cannot blame Clinton for the disastrous timing of this concatenation, but if she and her family can’t resist celebrating their Wall Street connections and big buckraking right now there is an evident lack of judgment at work. Through that lens, we get a better insight on why Clinton felt she could operate her own private email system when she worked for the government. Because she felt entitled to do so. As her campaign lumbers and lurches forward, we see entitlement at the core of many of Clinton’s problems. If there is not one of her many advisers who are able to convince Clinton that she must learn to live by the rules, this candidacy will be just as doomed as the last one.
Sauce for the goose…  “At the end of the day, it looks like they were trying to avoid the records act ... by operating official business off the official systems,” –John Podesta, top adviser to Hilly Clinton, criticizing the Bush administration officials for using private emails in a 2007 WSJ interview -Fox News

(WHITE) HOUSE OF PAIN: NO PLAN TO AID THOSE WHO   COULD BEAR BRUNT IN nOBAMACARE CASE
With Supreme Court arguments today on a case that could blow the bottom out of nObamaCare and put policies for millions at risk, the president and his team is reverting to the Clubber Lang doctrine for such standoffs. Their prediction: Pain. As the NYT reports, the administration is intentionally refusing to consider any backup plans at the risk of signaling “to the justices that reasonable solutions existed.”  And if past conduct is indicative, the president must also hope that by maximizing suffering in the short term, he can better block Republican alternatives and gain the upper hand on preserving his law in the eventual rescue operation. Meanwhile, no fewer than four Republican plans have emerged. The most recent is from by Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, and five co-sponsors, including Sen. John Barrasso, R-Wyo., and Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla. There are other, potentially complementary, plans already on offer including one includes financial assistance for individuals who would lose coverage, another that would offer tax credits and the one perhaps best suited for an emergency measure sponsored by Sen. Ben Sasse, R-Neb.

Government case rests in part on Jonathan Gruber’s honesty - WaPo: “MIT economist Jonathan Gruber first earned notoriety because of this challenge. Opponents of the law last summer circulated a 2012 video of him saying — contrary to the administration's argument — that states would deprive their residents of subsidies if they didn't set up their own exchanges. Gruber, who had widely been described as an architect of the ACA, later said the comments were a mistake.”  -Fox News
4064049297?profile=original
Carpe diem -   New in Fox News Opinion, former Romney policy adviser Lanhee Chen writes that Republicans should seize the opportunity to tackle the future of health care: “Liberal commentators are doing their best to portray a doomsday scenario for the American health care system if the plaintiffs in the case are victorious. And most importantly, President nObama is sure to blame Republicans if the impact of the case is lost coverage or higher premiums. There is a talented field of potential Republican candidates for the presidency in 2016, however, who should see the King case as an opportunity to make important arguments about the future of the American health care system.”  -Fox News

dinky Reid Secured Subsidies for Aides’ Donors
(Lachlan Markay) - Corporate donors to a green energy nonprofit operated by Senate Minority Leader dinky Harry Reid’s (D., Nev.) former staffers and a current campaign operative...have received billions of dollars in federal loan guarantees and grant money as a result of dinky Reid’s advocacy. Fulcrum Bioenergy began contributing to the Clean Energy Project (CEP) in 2013. One year later, the Nevada Democrat steered tens of millions of dollars in federal grant money to the California biofuel company. Fulcrum is one of at least nine corporate donors to the Clean Energy Project (CEP) that have secured federal financing for themselves or a client due in part to dinky Reid’s behind-the-scenes advocacy—activity that watchdogs warn could be construed as unethical.      http://americanactionnews.com/articles/senator-harry-reid-secured-subsidies-for-aides-donors

 Ted Cruz Unveils nObamacare Alternative
(thehill.com) - Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) on Tuesday offered the latest in a series of Republican nObamaCare alternatives ahead of a Supreme Court ruling that could gut the law...Cruz’s bill, called the Health Care Choices Act, would allow people to buy health insurance across state lines, long a Republican health policy goal. It would also repeal Title I of nObamaCare, which would undo much of the law, including the mandate to buy insurance, the insurance marketplaces and subsidies to help people afford coverage. Republicans are looking to show that they have a plan ready if the court strikes down subsidies for around 7.5 million people in the roughly three-dozen states using federally run marketplaces. The court will hear arguments in the case, King v. Burwell, on Wednesday.       http://thehill.com/policy/healthcare/234499-cruz-unveils-obamacare-alternative#sthash.fQy1li6U.dpuf

Supreme Court Appears Split on ObamaCare Subsidies
Supreme Court Appears Split on nObamaCare Subsidies
(Raven Clabough) - Reports indicate that the Supreme Court appeared to be divided strictly along ideological lines on Wednesday during opening arguments in the King v. Burwell case, one in a series of lawsuits challenging portions of the Affordable Care Act (nObamaCare)... "Burwell" refers to Health and Human Services Secretary Sylvia Matthews Burwell, named as the defendant in the cases. A decision in the case is expected by the end of June, and would potentially impact eight million people. The Competitive Enterprise Institute (CEI), a libertarian think tank in Washington, D.C., is providing support for the challengers, including financial support in the King case. The focus is on language in the law regarding subsidies for those who purchase insurance on exchanges “established by the state.” The plaintiffs contend that the administration incorrectly interpreted the language to allow subsidies nationwide and that the language of the law explicitly establishes that the subsidies should only be available to those who live in states that established their own health-insurance marketplace. Why is the language so hard to understand for these Judges?        http://www.thenewamerican.com/usnews/health-care/item/20284-supreme-court-appears-split-on-obamacare-subsidies?utm_source=Newsletter&utm_campaign=267754baa1-The_Editors_Top_Picks_3_12_143_12_2014&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_8ca494f2d2-267754baa1-289778381

(rickwells.us) - Mark Levin asks some serious questions about how and why the story of Hilly Clinton’s emails became known as well but there are other concerns as well...He points out how not only was Hilly Clinton using private emails for all of her official, classified duties, but so are officials at the EPA and elsewhere, as a means of concealment of the anti-American and likely criminal conduct they are engaging in. He says it’s being done “For two reasons, so you can’t file a freedom of information act request and know what they’re doing, in clear violation of that federal statute. And so Congress, when it asks for emails and other documentation, never even thinks about asking for personal emails.” He asks, “This isn’t tyranny? Oh, this is tyranny. This is sort of the replay of the game of the 1990’s. He says there are two reasons why Clinton can’t hold a two-hour press conference and clear the air. He notes, “Number one, she’s a Clinton. Netanyahu and Jewish Survival

Cartoon%2B-%2BIran%2BNuke%2BDeal.jpg
(factsnotfantasy.blogspot.com) - In 1933, approximately 9.5 million Jews lived in Europe, representing 1.7% of the total European population which, in turn, was about 60% of the Jewish world population, estimated to have been 15.2 million.

By 1945, in the wake of the Holocaust, two out of every three Jews would be dead.

By 2012 the global Jewish population had reached 13.75 million. That is less than 0.2 percent of the world’s population.

The Israeli Central Bureau of Statistics reported that 43% of the world’s Jewish community lives in Israel. Sharing Israel as their home were 1,636,600 Arabs and a diverse population of Christians and non-Jews, numbering around 318,000.

If the Iranians make good on their threat to “wipe Israel off the map”, presumably with nuclear weapons they would acquire by stealth and deception, the Jewish world population would be cut nearly in half.

AA%2B-%2BNetanyahu.jpg
All of this will be on Benjamin Netanyahu’s mind when, as the Prime Minister of Israel, he addresses a joint meeting of Congress. It will be his third such speech. On July 10, 1996, he said the world must act to prevent Iran’s nuclearization, since “the deadline for attaining this goal is getting extremely close.”

In 2011 he returned, saying “When I stood here, I spoke of the consequences of Iran developing nuclear weapons. Now time is running out. The hinge of history may soon turn, for the greatest danger of all could soon be upon us, a militant Islamic regime armed with nuclear weapons.”

So now it is 2015 and the only thing Netanyahu knows for sure is that the Iranians remain intent on being able to produce their own nuclear weapons.

The March 2nd edition of The Times of Israel reported that Yukiya Amano, the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency, said “Iran has yet to provide explanations that enable the agency to clarify two outstanding practical measures”, a diplomatic way of referring to “alleged explosive tests and other issues related to research that may also be useful for military uses of atomic energy.” This is the same problem that the U.N. agency has with North Korea.

Netanyahu was worried about Iran’s nuclear weapons program in 1996, in 2011, and now in 2015; more than enough time for Iran to have made considerable progress toward their goal. At the heart of this third address to Congress is the survival of nearly half of all the Jews in the world because they live in Israel.

It’s no secret there is no love-loss between Bibi Netanyahu and Barack nObama, but this third effort to urge Congress to go on record supporting the survival of Israel is necessary because, for the first time since 1948, there is some cause to wonder whether a war-weary U.S. would come to Israel’s defense.

nObama has said in no uncertain terms that he wants to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons. However, the world has learned that the gap between what he says and what he does is often wide or non-existent. It must be said, however, that past Presidents have decried North Korea’s acquisition of nuclear weapons, but that has not translated into any direct action because China entered the Korean conflict in the 1950s to defend it and no one wants a repeat of that.

Netanyahu does not speak for “all Jews.” He speaks for Israel and other than national survival the political divisions there are even more diverse than our own. The fact that he is running for reelection there is not a factor for his speech to Congress—timing is.

One suspects that the best intelligence both Israel and the U.S. have been able to secure suggests that, this time, Iran is very close to its goal of being able to produce its own nuclear weapons despite the sanctions that have been imposed.

Netanyahu is understandably concerned about the negotiations that nObama has relentlessly pursued with Iran, the result of which has alienated not only Israel, but Saudi Arabia and all of the Gulf nations. The P5+1 parties to the negotiations include Russia, China, France, United Kingdom and Germany. The negotiations have deadlocked in the past and may do so again despite the fact that both Russia and China have close ties to Iran.

Even if Iran agrees to terms that would supposedly slow or stop its nuclear weapons program, there is not a scintilla of evidence that they would fulfill their promises. Iran, after all, is the world’s leading sponsor of terrorism worldwide.

The odds are that Netanyahu knows that Iran, this time, is very close to becoming militarily nuclear. Addressing Congress calls attention to the danger, not only domestically, but worldwide.

What Netanyahu also knows is that President nObama seems to have blind spot when it comes to the growing anti-Semitism that resembles what existed in the 1930s in Europe. When Jews in a French kosher supermarket were murdered, nObama referred to it as an act of “violent, vicious zealots who behead people or randomly shoot a bunch of folks in a deli in Paris.”

Whoa! It wasn’t “a bunch of folks.” They were Jews buying food for the Sabbath meal.  And those “violent, vicious zealots” were Muslims, just like the ISIS Muslims beheading, crucifying, burning, kidnapping, and enslaving those they don’t kill for being Christian, Jewish, Yazidis, or just not Muslim enough!

Netanyahu’s speech will, indeed, be historic. It may not be his last visit to the chambers of Congress.

The shattered, staggering, dhimmi, subjugated UK is welcoming those who seek its ruin into the foremost corridors of power. “Islamist Sympathiser Launches ‘Muslim Manifesto’ in British Parliament,” by Donna Rachel Edmunds, Breitbart, March 6, 2015: A known Islamist has appeared in Parliament […]

Australia: Teen jihadi wannabes caught at airport and sent home

As a result of this interception, a Sydney family remains together. This highlights afresh the need to work within communities and with parents to disrupt attempts to […]

Over 100 freed Gitmo detainees have returned to jihad

This is not surprising, since absolutely nothing was done at Guantanamo to disabuse these men of the beliefs that led them to wage jihad in the first place. Any such action would have been “Islamophobic.” And so the Qur’an, the book that inspired the actions that landed them in Guantanamo in the first place, is […]

Islamic State destroys 2,000-year-old city of Hatra

This follows closely after their destruction of Nimrud and of the Mosul museum artifacts. Clearly the Islamic State is determined to leave nothing un-Islamic in their domains. They want to create ruin and destruction of non-Muslim installations, because the Qur’an holds up ruins as the signs of Allah’s wrath upon the disbelievers: “Many were the […]

650 Muslims from Germany have joined the Islamic State

650 “Germans” have joined the Islamic State, according to the headline. Really? How many are Roman Catholics and how many are Lutherans? All 650 are actually Muslims, of course. Do they consider themselves Germans in any way other than geographically? Unlikely. They almost certainly were taught Islamic values, including the distaste that the “best of […]

Female Islamic State recruiter arrested at Barcelona airport

The Islamic State continues to show that it has enormous appeal for all too many young Muslims in the West. And that would […]

Thank the Lord Rush Limbaugh's On.

rush-limbaugh

Walking out to my shed to work on a project, I thought, what if I turn on the radio and Rush is not there. It was unsettling. Please forgive me folks. My intention is not to be morbid, but that day will inevitably come; prayerfully many years from now.

In the black church I grew up in, at funerals, someone always sang, “Give Me My Flowers.”

Give me my flowers while I yet live so that I can see the beauty that they bring. Speak kind words to me while I can hear them so that I can hear the beauty that they bring.”

Folks, I just want to give Rush some flowers, to take a moment to thank him for the extremely positive impact he has had on my life and America. I still remember where I was the first time I heard him in the 80s. Who is this loudmouth guy? Where is my regular talk radio host Tom Marr? Shortly after that, I became hooked.

The major thing Rush did for me was to define the enemy; liberals and Liberalism. This knowledge opened my eyes to no longer be fooled by liberals' compassionate-sounding rhetoric. Rush educated me to their snooty racist superiority and failed policies, which have devastated lives, particularly blacks', for decades. While I instinctively knew it, Rush articulated why Conservatism is the best and most direct path for everyone seeking to achieve his or her American Dream.

Remember Dan's Bake Sale? In essence, it was the first modern-day Tea Party rally. Dan Kay called Rush's show. His wife said they could not afford the $29.95 annual fee for Rush's newsletter. Rush was tempted to gift Dan a subscription, but decided it would stifle Dan's drive to “be the best he could be” and make him a “dependent ward of the EIB radio network.”

Poking fun at the Democrats' encouraging elementary students to have bake sales to help Clinton pay down the national debt, Rush suggested a bake sale for Dan. Rush's idea inspired his millions of listeners, making Dan's Bake Sale an instant international phenomenon. May 22, 1993 upwards to sixty thousand Rush listeners from all over the U.S. and the world gathered in Fort Collins, Colorado to buy a cookie from Dan. The event was a powerful positive illustration of Conservatism.

On a personal note, inspired by Rush and led by God, I became the tea party activist I am today. Back in the early 90s, for 15 years I was a graphic designer at a Baltimore TV station recently promoted to department supervisor. Every day I listened to Rush while working.

Companies were downsizing, and people were laid off. Rush encouraged them to shift their thinking and view the lay off as an opportunity to pursue their dreams. Well, I bought it. I was not laid off, but did not want to put in another 15 years to retirement.

I always wanted a career as a singer/songwriter which I pursued on weekends and vacations. Fired up by Rush's optimism, upon getting the green light from my wife Mary, I gave the TV station my two week notice and began pursuing my dream full time.

It was an insane thing to do. I was in my late 40s. Rather than taking you through my entire wilderness experience, we became homeless for six months. During that time, God dealt with and matured me in many ways. As a P.K. (preacher's kid) I grew up hearing people in church say, “Trust God.” For me, it was a Christian cliche. Several times in my wilderness experience when all appeared lost, God came through. Thus, I learned to trust God.

Trying to survive, I was grateful to get a job as a helper on a construction site. During my lunch break, I heard on the radio that a local radio station was hosting a support rally for our troops. I called the producer and asked if I could sing my original song, “Celebrate America”. Remarkably, never having heard of me, the producer said, “Yes.”

Folks, performing at that rally led to being asked to perform at major rallies hosted by Glenn Beck, G. Gordon Liddy and Gathering of Eagles which led to being invited to tour the country on the Tea Party Express. I have been on over a dozen national bus tours with Tea Party Express and other groups which led to my current position as Chairman of the Conservative Campaign Committee.

Rush often referenced the American Thinker website. As a writer, my style in the world of politics is somewhat unique. So when AT publisher Thomas Lifson e-mailed that they were publishing my article, Mary and I were ecstatic. That was many articles and a book ago (Confessions of a Black Conservative).

Over the years, the Democrats and Liberals won unfair evil victories. Millions of conservatives could hardly wait for Rush to come on the air to bring us back from the edge with his infectious optimism, faith and inspiration. Thus, the thought of Rush not being there was a little unsettling.

Praise God, Rush is still on the air. I would like to end my flowers for Rush with one of my favorite Rush parodies. Please enjoy, “Thank the Lord Rush Limbaugh's On” performed by the Rush Hawkins Singers.

Chairman, Conservative Campaign Committee

 nObama: Netanyahu Said 'Nothing New'

(Read on for the full analysis of Benjamin Netanyahu's remarks below.)

In a rebuttal to Israeli Prime Minster Benjamin Netanyahu's speech before Congress, Barack nObama petulantly insisted, "As far as I can tell, there was nothing new. ... The prime minister didn't offer any viable alternatives." But neither has nObama, which is precisely the reason for Netanyahu's visit. The problem isn't that Israel has no strategy for halting Iran's nuclear program; rather nObama doesn't agree with the military response it would likely entail. He claimed, "Iran has in fact frozen its program, rolled back some of its most dangerous, highly enriched uranium, and subjected itself to the kinds of verifications and inspections that we had not previously seen." What delusional absurdity. Iran is doing the complete opposite, much of it underground, but nObama nevertheless says his plan is working and nuked Netanyahu for opposing the deal that prompted negotiations: "When we shaped that interim deal ... Netanyahu made almost the precise same speech about how dangerous that deal was going to be." Well, yeah. Look at where we are now. Amping up the tough-talk even further, nObama promised, "What I can guarantee is that if it's a deal I sign off on, I will be able to prove that it is the best way for us to prevent Iran from getting nuclear weapons." And you can also keep your health insurance.  -The Patriot Post

Pelosi 'Near Tears' Throughout Bibi's Speech
House Minority Leader Nancy Pulosi suffered mightily through Benjamin Netanyahu's speech. And it had barely concluded before she released a statement: "The unbreakable bonds between the United States and Israel are rooted in our shared values, our common ideals and mutual interests. ... That is why, as one who values the U.S.-Israel relationship, and loves Israel, I was near tears throughout the Prime Minister's speech -- saddened by the insult to the intelligence of the United States as part of the P5 +1 nations, and saddened by the condescension toward our knowledge of the threat posed by Iran and our broader commitment to preventing nuclear proliferation." Netanyahu's speech was of value because Barack nObama has so spectacularly failed when it comes to nuclear negotiations with Iran. Pulosi can cry about insults to her intelligence, but the real crying shame is her party is so partisan that many Democrats refused to stand even when Netanyahu declared there must never be another Holocaust. Astoundingly shameful.  -The Patriot Post

 House Passes 'Clean' DHS Bill
Left with no viable alternative, the House voted 257-167 Tuesday to pass a full-year funding bill for the Department of Homeland Security. More than two-thirds of Republicans voted "no." The vote essentially ends the fruitless standoff over Barack nObama's unconstitutional immigration actions, as the Senate passed the same bill, 68-31, last week. Unfortunately, Republicans spent more time fighting each other than countering nObama, and from the outset they chose an unwinnable strategy. As the old adage goes, never take a hostage you're not willing to shoot, and Republicans clearly forgot that advice. Again. Speaker backstabber John Boehner blamed the Senate: "Unfortunately, the fight was never won in the other chamber. Democrats stayed united and blocked our bill, and our Republican colleagues in the Senate never found a way to win this fight." But he also offered a silver lining. "I am as outraged and frustrated as you at the lawless and unconstitutional actions of this president," backstabber Boehner told House Republicans during a conference meeting. "I believe this decision -- considering where we are -- is the right one for this team, and the right one for this country. The good news is that the president's executive action has been stopped, for now. This matter will continue to be litigated in the courts, where we have our best chance of winning this fight." Time will tell, but nObama has proved he's not willing to bow to anyone. More...  -The Patriot Post

SCOTUS Hears Second Challenge to nObamaCare
Today the Supreme Court will hear the arguments in King v. Burwell, a challenge to nObamaCare that contends subsidies granted via the federal health exchange are illegal under the "Affordable" Care Act because the law permits them only under state exchanges. The pressure is on Chief Justice John Roberts, who was the deciding vote when the court upheld nObamaCare in 2012. In his last opinion on OnbamaCare, Roberts -- to paraphrase Charles Dickens -- made the law into an ass, declaring the federal government could compel people to buy goods (a.k.a. health insurance) by calling it a tax. Because he showed himself susceptible to political intimidation in 2012, the Left is now running editorials claiming that, if Roberts allows SCOTUS to strike down nObamaCare this time, it will show itself to be a bench of activist judges. In The Washington Post, leftist reporter Robert Barnes wrote, "[T]he eponymous head of the Roberts court has the most to lose. After all, its decisions cannot be respected if the court is not respected." In his nomination hearing, Roberts said he was an umpire that called "balls and strikes and not to pitch or bat." But if Roberts ends up being the meek umpire at home plate scared of the crowd, he may redefine "state" to mean any level of government. And that ruling will not only cement nObamaCare into law, it will open up a flood of federal government expansion. More...

Warren Buffett Doesn't Like Being Demonized
Warren Buffett may be the poster child for the Left's goal of taxing the rich through a "Buffett rule," but it doesn't mean the man likes the law when the political speech is stripped away. Sen. Elizabeth Warren has been griping about the rich, not hiding the fact she wants to strip Wall Street of its money. Buffett doesn't like it and he put down a Coke long enough to air his grievance to CNBC. "She would do better if she was less angry and demonized less," Buffett said. "I believe in hate the sin, love the sinner. And I also believe in praising by name and criticizing by category. … I do think it's a mistake to get angry with your -- with people that disagree with you. I mean, in the end we do have to work together." Looks like Buffett wants the government to ask politely if it could just take his money. Notably, Warren attained her position by playing people like him against a jealous middle and lower class. In other words, it's Warren's style that made the "Buffett rule" popular.  Hilly’s State Dept. Fired U.S. Ambassador In 2011 For Personal Email
(theconservativetreehouse.com) - Although Hilly Clinton and her allies may be claiming that her private e-mail system is no big deal, Hilly’s State Department actually forced the 2012 resignation of the U.S. ambassador to Kenya in part for setting up an unsanctioned private e-mail system...According to a 2012 report from the State Deptartment’s inspector general, former U.S. ambassador to Kenya Scott Gration set up a private e-mail system for his office in 2011. The inspector general’s report specifically noted that Gration violated State Department policy by using a private, unsanctioned e-mail service for official. In its executive summary listing its key judgments against the U.S. ambassador to Kenya who served under Hilly Clinton, the inspector general stated that Gration’s decision to willfully violate departmental information security policies highlighted Gration’s “reluctance to accept clear-cut U.S. Government decisions.” The report claimed that this reluctance to obey governmental security policies was the former ambassador’s “greatest weakness.” (read more) And yet, its okay for Hilly to do the same. Muslim Man Stabs Wife 15 Times for Wanting to Learn English

(answeringmuslims.com) - Here's a fact that our leaders just can't get their minds around...Beliefs have consequences. We're told not to question the beliefs of Muslims, and that we're racists if we do...But when a man believes what Allah and Muhammad say about women, there is a significant danger of abuse. If we ignore this danger, aren't we saying that Muslim women don't matter?  Nazakat Ali, 30, stabbed his 27-year old partner Shahzana Kausar during a row at their home in Rochdale, Greater Manchester, after she made it clear she wanted to enrol at college to study English.

What Are You Really Willing to Do to Stop Terrorists From Entering?
(Michael Cutler) - The question that serves as the title of my commentary today is the question every American, irrespective of political affiliation, must ask their elected senators and congressional representatives...For all too many of our leaders, while they claim that they would stop at nothing to protect America and Americans, the reality is far different. Despite their claims to the contrary, they will not do anything to truly secure our borders or instill real integrity to the immigration system or the process by which applications for visas or immigration benefits are adjudicated.  The Pointlessness of the Two-Phased Nuclear Deal
(Majid Rafizadeh) - The deadline for the “first phase” of nuclear talks between the Islamic Republic and the six world powers (known as the P5+1; the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Russia, and China) is approaching...The prolonged negotiations appear to be making progress, according to Secretary of State Hanoi John Kerry. In addition, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif stated that both sides came to “a better understanding” at the negotiation. After the interim nuclear deal was reached in November 2013, the nuclear negotiations between the two sides were again divided into two stages in order to reach a final and comprehensive nuclear deal. Hanoi Kerry previously proposed the two-phased nuclear negotiations. The question that is being ignored by the mainstream media is: What are the real objectives of dividing the final negotiations into two stages?       http://www.frontpagemag.com/2015/majid-rafizadeh/the-pointlessness-of-the-two-phased-nuclear-deal/?utm_source=FrontPage+Magazine&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=291aaf9099-Mailchimp_FrontPageMag&utm_term=0_57e32c1dad-291aaf9099-156509103

Which is a hate crime, and which is "random folks"? Left: Survivors of the terrorist attack on the kosher Hyper Cacher supermarket in Paris flee the store, as police move in. Right: The three victims who were murdered by their neighbor in Chapel Hill.
Hate Crimes: US Lynches the Facts
(Douglas Murray) - The police are now under serious pressure -- as they were in the cases of Trayvon Martin and "Ferguson" -- to attribute the crime to causes other than those they may actually think to be the case...There are many difficulties with "hate crimes" legislation. But one of the worst is that it turns the law from being blind into being a tool that can be used not only to drive home a political vision, but one that can be used to ignore and even lobby to change facts. While a lot of people seem not to want to recognize when Jews are killed as Jews, the truth is that a very great number of people appear to want Muslims or Blacks, when they are killed, to have been murdered because they were Muslims or Blacks. This is the disturbing trend that seems to have fed into these moments of Presidential blindness.       http://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/5272/hate-crimes

\ The Founders Foresaw nObama, But Not Boehner And McCon-nell
(conservativehq.com) - Conservatives, concerned, if not already in a white-hot fury, about President nObama’s frequent trampling on the Constitution and governing traditions of the United States...have sometimes been tempted to view what’s been going on in Washington for the past six years as something the Framers of the Constitution never anticipated, and hence failed to guard against in our Nation’s founding document. But nothing could be further from the truth – the Constitution, and the Federalist Papers that explain how it was expected to operate, created a system of effective checks on a "usurping" or power hungry executive. The Framers set-up a system of three branches of government; executive, legislative and judicial, with not just the assumption, but with the clear direction, that they would enforce the Constitution upon each other. And, in the conclusion of Federalist 48 James Madison introduced the problem we face today:       http://www.conservativehq.com/article/19819-founders-foresaw-obama-not-boehner-and-McConnell

Hilly Will Not Run for President
Alan Caruba
Hillary's%2BWorld.jpg
(factsnotfantasy.blogspot.com) - The revelations, reported initially in the most left-wing newspaper in the nation, The New York Times, that Hilly Clinton used her own private emails to conduct public business, suggests that there are forces within the Democratic Party that do not want her to be its candidate for President in 2016.

It’s not like Hilly did not know she was supposed to use the State Department’s email system for reasons of national security; her private emails could have been hacked by forces unfriendly to the U.S. All government employees are routinely briefed on the laws that require this.

For the record, I am no fan of Hilly Clinton. On September 18 of last year, I wrote a commentary titled “Go Away, Hilly” in which I asked “Other than earning her law degree, name one thing that Hilly Clinton has accomplished on her own. Her accomplishments—slim as they are—have been achieved on the coattails of either Bill Clinton or Barack nObama.”
Beyond Hilly, what I object to is the necessity to raise millions with which to secure either Party’s nomination and a billion to run for the presidency. We are electing someone who has literally bought the election courtesy of donors who have made the selection for the rest of us. There is something fundamentally undemocratic about that.

That said, I don’t think Hilly Clinton will run in 2016.

That may surprise you, but it surprises me as well. And, yes, I could be wrong, but the revelations about her patently illegal email use while Secretary of State suggests that there are forces within her Party that want to end her candidacy now rather than later. They are sending her a message.

Ron Fournier is the Senior Political Columnist and Editorial Director of National Journal. Prior to that, he worked at the Associated Press for 20 years, most recently as its Washington Bureau Chief. On March 3rd, he wrote an opinion piece titled “Maybe she doesn’t want to run in 2016, top Democrats wonder. Maybe she shouldn’t.”
“Two weeks ago,” wrote Fournier, “we learned that the Clinton Foundation accepted contributions from foreign countries. Assurances from the nObama administration and Clinton aides that no donations were made during her tenure as Secretary of State were proven false.”

“Now The New York Times is reporting that Clinton used a personal email account to conduct government business as Secretary of State, an apparent violation of federal requirements that her records be retained.” He quoted one unnamed “senior Democrat” as saying “This story has legs as long as the election”, noting that many senior Democrats “are angry.”

“My concern,” wrote Fournier, “is that Clinton does not see this controversy as a personal failing. Rather, she sees it as a political problem that can be fixed with more polls, more money, and more attacks.” He described her problem as “a lack of shame about money, personal accountability, and transparency.”

If there is one thing to which the Democratic Party is totally dedicated, it is winning the White House and control of the Congress. Ever since President nObama has been in office, it has taken a beating as voters have relentlessly transferred power to the Republican Party in Congress and in many States. It is an unmistakable trend and one that must keep Democrat strategists up at night.

In January 2014, a Pew Research poll found that 69% of women who identified themselves as Democrats hoped to see a female President in their lifetime, compared to only 20% of Republican women. In April 2014, a Rasmussen poll found that “51% of likely U.S. voters have at least a somewhat favorable opinion of Clinton, while 44% view her unfavorably.”

The Huffington Post analysis of the Pew poll concluded that “not wanting Clinton in office is the only one explanation for Republican woman’s relative lack of enthusiasm about electing a candidate of their own gender”, adding that “It may be that (the) gender of a candidate has simply become a less compelling factor for voters…”

Six years of having a President who was elected primarily because he is black have taught voters that race and gender are insufficient factors on which to base one’s vote.

Six years of a sluggish economy, massive unemployment, declining wealth among the Middle Class, and a disaster called foreign policy will influence 2016 votes along with, of course, whoever the candidates may be.

So I will return to my conjecture that Hilly, no matter her desire to be the first woman U.S. President, will also have to address the practical realities of politics. Opposition from within the Democratic Party will likely be a deciding factor. She has put off announcing her intentions until April. If she puts it off again that would suggest some deep misgivings.

If you had the choice between a life of great wealth and fame as opposed to the daily inquisition and criticism that comes with the presidency, which would you choose?
