ROB MANESS

With the extraordinary Cruz vs. Trump battle for the GOP presidential nomination sucking up all of the political oxygen, it is easy to miss the fact that awesome conservative and retired Air Force colonel Rob Maness is running for the U.S. Senate in Louisiana.

Folks, please allow me to cut to the chase.  Our country is going to hell in a handbasket, fueled by GOP cowardice and an entire Democratic Party hijacked by anti-American zealots.  The only way we stop the horrific effects of Obama's insanity and corruption in both parties is to send rock-solid conservatives we can trust to Washington, candidates with backbones of steel who refuse to go along to get along.

Speaking of backbone, Maness's military awards and combat decorations include the Legion of Merit, the Bronze Star, and the Air Medal.  I am pretty sure Maness will not be intimidated by RINOs, metrosexual Democrats, or Obama's bureaucratic henchmen in D.C.  Maness is like an oak tree, firmly and deeply rooted in the rich, fertile soil of his Christian faith.

When you cut through all the political deceptions, lies, and broken promises, it always comes down to sending character-driven representatives to Washington.  Rob Maness's record proves he fits the bill.  In plain language, Maness is one of us, folks – a real family, God, and country good guy.

I was extremely impressed when I met Rob during his 2014 run for the Senate – a strong conservative fighter, highly respected community leader, served 32 years in the military, husband, father of five, and grandpa of four.

It is not surprising that national conservative heavyweights and organizations are united in endorsing Rob Maness for U.S. Senate.  Those supporting Maness include Dr. Ben Carson, Sarah Palin, Dr. James Dobson, Lt. Governor Billy Nungesser, Conservative Campaign Committee, the Tea Party of Louisiana, Tea Party Nation, Tea Party Forward, the National Association for Gun Rights, and Special Operations Speaks.

Rather than listing all of Rob's leadership roles and achievements, I will say he has proven his competence at the local, state, and federal levels of government, an effective steward of citizens' tax dollars.  Please visit his website for details.

As with any conservative Republican who faithfully advocates for We the People, the GOP establishment is often displeased with and threatened by Maness.  Rob wears their discomfort with him as a badge of honor.

There is a down-to-earth everyman quality about Rob, driving his pickup truck around Louisiana, spreading the good news of traditional American principles and values: God, family, country, and the Constitution.  Please enjoy this entertaining 30-second TV ad in which Rob promises to wrestle the gators in D.C.

Here is an example of Maness's strong, decisive leadership regarding our national security.  In response to the jihadi attacks in Brussels, Maness advises Congress to fulfill its constitutional duty and finally declare war against the Islamic State.  Maness says, “[U]ntil we formally declare war, our enemies and objectives will continue to be unclear, and the American people will continue to be divided.”

C'mon folks, admit it.  Isn't Maness's manly stand for American leadership a refreshing contrast to Obama's and Kerry's apologize-for-our-very-existence and give-our-enemies-everything-they-want approach?

By the way, the Islamic terrorist attacks in Brussels hit a little too close to home for the Maness family.  The night before the attacks, Rob's and Candy's son flew out of Europe on military leave on an American Airlines flight.

According to a new Pew Research report, our country is undergoing a scary demographic shift.  Decades of allowing liberals to brainwash our kids and not encouraging immigrants to assimilate is taking America down a different path, far away from the country envisioned by our Founding Fathers.

The only way to ensure that the America we grew up with will be there for our grandkids and great-grandkids is to consistently send rock-solid conservatives who espouse traditional American principles and values to Washington.  In that regard, America desperately needs Col. Rob Maness in the U.S. Senate.  Please, let's help him folks.  God bless.

IRS Cannot Ensure the Safety of Taxpayer
Data  In a follow up security audit to determine how many improvements the Internal Revenue Service made to its data security, the Government Accountability Office (GAO) concluded the IRS is "making progress." Last year, the GAO recommended 70 changes to the tax collecting agency. "Financial and taxpayer data will remain unnecessarily vulnerable to inappropriate and undetected use, modification, or disclosure," the GAO said. And while the IRS picks away at its vulnerabilities, the threat of tax refund fraud is increasing. In 2014, criminals pilfered $6.5 billion from taxpayers by filing false W-2s with the individuals' information. This year, the IRS predicts criminals will get away with $21 billion. Remember: The IRS has been taking a little from every paycheck year round. The refunds belong to the taxpayer.
"It goes without saying that if the IRS were a private business, its executives would either be in court or prison," wrote Investor's Business Daily. "But the White House can at least make fixing these glaring risks a priority. Until that happens, expect to hear more reports of IRS data breaches."
Meanwhile, for more than 1,000 days, the IRS has successfully avoided cooperating with investigations looking into its targeting of conservative nonprofits to aid Barack nObama's re-election. The IRS needs reform in more ways than one.  -The Patriot Post

 April Fools' Day Outlawed
Barack nObama has always been fond of his phone and pen, but this is getting ridiculous. In a new executive order this morning, nObama outlawed April Fools' Day. Perhaps he thought the symbolism was too representative of his own policies. Or perhaps he's just making the most of his last year in office, checking off things from his self-described "rhymes with bucket" list. Kind of like renaming Mount McKinley. Whatever the reason, nObama clearly thinks he can do whatever he wants.
Ok, ok. April Fools'! nObama did not actually issue any such order this morning. But it's certainly believable, isn't it?
Meanwhile, his Marxist brothers in China did ban the "holiday." Or at least that's what The Washington Post reports. "As part of a long-running effort to win control of the narrative on social media and deter dissent," the Post says, "China's Communist Party launched a campaign three years ago to criminalize the spreading of rumors. Xinhua's post suggests an April Fools' Day prank that mocked or undermined the Party could have potentially serious consequences." Those "serious" consequences were pretty darn funny back in 2012, when China's propaganda machine was duped by a report on North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un's devastating good looks — it came from The Onion, a satirical site.
So the current report from China may be true, but take it with a grain of salt. It is April 1, after all.  -The Patriot Post

March Jobs Report: Another Step in Slow
Recovery  During the month of March, the U.S. economy continued plodding along in its slow recovery from the 2008 economic collapse. The Bureau of Labor Statistics' March jobs report showed the economy added 215,000 jobs and the unemployment rate edged up slightly to 5%. Wages, which economists worried about because they were not rising, increased by seven cents to $25.43.
But the real story of the economy lies in the percentage of Americans who wake up and go to work every day. Total employment in the nObama economy remains at historic lows. In March 2008, the labor force participation rate hovered at 66.1%. Eight years later, in the midst of a "recovery," the rate rebounded slightly to 63% in March. Meanwhile, the employment-population ratio — which only measures people who hold down jobs, not people who are hustling for one — stood at 62.7% March 2008. A year later, that ratio sunk to 59.9% — the same ratio America is experiencing today. Part of the cause could be all the Baby Boomers headed into retirement, but the bigger factor is that nObama has focused more on "fairness" through income redistribution than free-market policies that create jobs.
Economists generally think this jobs report is positive. When Americans are returning to the labor force, they are not necessarily looking for a job for long, according to FiveThirtyEight's Ben Casselman. American Enterprise Institute's James Pethokoukis pointed out job gains this strong haven't been seen since the late 90s. But the economy is no where near where it was in the first quarter of 2008.  -The Patriot Post

{aim.org} ~ People might sense that Islamist terror is on the rise as they follow daily news reporting, but they might be shocked at how significantly it has spiraled in lethality and focus in a very short amount of time... Deaths from jihadist assaults rose from an annual average of roughly 2,500 innocents per year from 2001 to 2006, to an average of 3,300 per year in 2007-2011, to 9,000 per year in 2012-2013 and to an average of more than 28,000 in 2014-2015. Also, Attacks were widespread across the globe with significant periods of time between them in the period from 2001 to 2006 suggesting that communication and coordination was not nearly as sophisticated as we see today...

{thenewamerican.com} ~ Speaking at the UN’s “High-Level Meeting on Responsibility Sharing for Syrian refugees” in Geneva on March 30, UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon said, “the United Nations must do everything in its power to help Syrian refugee children — and all refugees.”... Among the steps Ban proposed was “expanding legal pathways for refugees into a greater number of countries.” Ban said: “We are here to address the biggest refugee and displacement crisis of our time.” The refugee crisis to which Ban referred began in 2011 when large numbers of refugees began fleeing the civil war in Syria. However, it reached mammoth proportions in 2015 when than a million migrants and refugees crossed into Europe. While EU nations initially welcomed the refugees, the ceaseless wave of tens of thousands of them finally placed an unbearable burden on the host nations. Incidences of lawlessness and crime among the migrants have spread, budgets have stretched to the breaking point by providing services to the refugees, and the terrorist attacks in Paris and Brussels by members of ISIS who entered Europe along with the refugees has caused widespread fear. Where is the UN to help these countrys? But they are willing to take our money. They need to be deported from the USA soil.

{freedomoutpost.com} ~ There is certainly a conflict of interest concerning the FBI's alleged desires to deal with Hilly Clinton in a criminal matter, but is subservient to the Department of Justice that is run by a known Constitution violator by the name of Loretta Lynch... However, though Lynch is a Constitution violator, it is her law firm that is tied to Hilly Clinton that is a part of the issue in the current matter regarding Clinton's blatant disregard for federal law concerning her illegal and unsecured email server. It's well known that if the FBI recommends prosecution in the Hilly Clinton email case, the decision will be put in the hands of Attorney General Loretta Lynch. But little known is the fact that Lynch was a litigation partner for eight years at a major Washington law firm that served the Clintons. Lynch was with the Washington-headquartered international law firm Hogan & Hartson LLP from March 2002 through April 2010. {washingtonexaminer.com} ~ President nObama boasted Friday about his administration's exemplary record on transparency related to nuclear materials, and cited as an example his decision to share U.S. security protocols with the world... along with information about the size of the U.S.'s highly enriched uranium stockpile. As of Sept. 30, 2013 the nation had 585.6 metric tons of highly enriched uranium, a fact that hasn't been declassified in 15 years, nObama noted during the summit's opening session. The last public figure was 740.7 metric tons, and the difference shows the U.S. has reduced its stockpile by more than 20 percent. "This type of information sharing … is an important part of the effort to strengthen global nuclear security," the White House stated in releasing the data. "The value of transparency has been highlighted by the United States throughout the Nuclear Security Summit process." {aei.org} ~ It’s not just a matter of jihadis from more than 100 countries transiting Turkey, often unmolested, to join the Islamic State. Blaming poor border security doesn’t cut it when journalists have photographed Turkey’s intelligence service actively supporting and supplying the Islamic State... Rather, it’s the fact that Turkey provides visa waivers or issues visas on demand for citizens of countries that contribute to the Islamic State. Demand visitors under the age of 40 get visas in advance and the flow of foreign fighters into Syria would slow to a trickle. The basic problem with Erdoğan, however, is he does not believe radical Sunni terrorism exists. Even when Islamic State fighters took hostage 49 Turkish diplomats and truck drivers in Mosul, Erdoğan bent over backwards to avoid calling the hostage-takers terrorists both before and after the diplomats’ release. But it’s not just the Islamic State. Erdoğan has defended his invitation for Sudanese President Omar Hassan al-Bashir to visit Turkey, despite genocide charges leveled by the International Criminal Court. “A Muslim can never commit genocide,” he explained, adding that he preferred to meet with Bashir over Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. After Hamas won the January 2006 Palestinian elections, the United States, European Union, and even moderate Arab states urged continued isolation of Hamas until it accepted Palestinian commitments under the Oslo Accords, namely foreswearing terrorism and recognizing Israel’s right to exist. Hamas refused, and found a friend in Turkey. Erdoğan broke the international consensus by inviting Khaled Mishaal, the movement’s most radical leader, to address the AKP where he received a hero’s welcome. In the wake of last week’s bombing in the heart of Istanbul’s shopping district, an AKP deputy lamented only that more Israelis had not been killed and wounded...        http://www.aei.org/publication/why-its-impossible-to-defeat-isis-with-erdogan-in-power/?utm_source=paramount&utm_medium=email&utm_content=AEITHISWEEK&utm_campaign=Weekly040216

{theeconomiccollapseblog.com} ~ Ten years ago, a major Hollywood film entitled “Idiocracy” was released, and it was an excellent metaphor for what would happen to America over the course of the next decade... In the movie, an “average American” wakes up 500 years in the future only to discover that he is the most intelligent person by far in the “dumbed down” society that he suddenly finds himself in. Sadly, I truly believe that if people of average intellect from the 1950s and 1960s were transported to 2016, they would likely be considered mental giants compared to the rest of us.  We have a country where criminals are being paid $1000 a month not to shoot people, and the highest paid public employee in more than half the states is a football coach. Hardly anyone takes time to read a book anymore, and yet the average American spends 302 minutes a day watching television. 75 percent of our young adults cannot find Israel on a map of the Middle East, but they sure know how to find smut on the Internet. It may be hard to believe, but there are more than 4 million adult websites on the Internet today, and they get more traffic than Netflix, Amazon and Twitter combined. What in the world has happened to us? How is it possible that we have become so stupid? According to a brand new report that was recently released, almost 10 percent of our college graduates believe that Judge Judy is on the Supreme Court…

{rickwells.us} ~ Even if your country has been a frequent target of Islamic terrorists and the supposed leader of the United States has repeatedly stated that our nation stands “shoulder to shoulder” with the French people in the fight against those responsible, the truth isn’t allowed to be spoken in the White House... Generally a prohibition on speaking the truth is not a problem, as our politicians have an unnatural aversion to its use. It can create problems for foreigners not familiar with our customs of politicians lying to their “subjects.” Francois Hollande, President of France, may not have realized that he had been transported into the modern day equivalent of the Twilight Zone, when he described Islamic terrorism as what it is. nObama staffers were quick to take corrective measures to make certain that no sensitive terrorist ears, including the overly large ones on the side specimens on each side of his host’s head, were injured or offended by the truth. Suddenly a fifteen second segment of the audio was deleted from the permanent record of the meeting. {freedomsback.com} ~ It’s not over. It’s never over. After last week’s deadly airport and subway bombings in Brussels, the Belgian government remains on high alert for jihad attacks and espionage at its nuclear facilities.

One Belgian nuke plant security guard was murdered recently and his ID is missing. Two of the Brussels bombers reportedly spied on the home of a top senior scientist in the country’s nuclear program. ISIS has been implicated in an alleged insider plot to obtain radioisotopes from one of Belgium’s nuclear plants for a dirty bomb. Two former Belgian nuke plant workers left their jobs to fight for ISIS in Syria.

This is all according to plan. The al-Qaida house organ, Inspire magazine, has urged its followers to conduct attacks using “specialized expertise and those who work in sensitive locations that would offer them unique opportunities” to wreak havoc.

Could Islamic terrorists and other criminal menaces now exploit homeland security vulnerabilities at our own nuclear power plants and other utilities here in the U.S.?

Answer: They already have.

In 2011, a little-remembered Department of Homeland Security intelligence report warned of the ongoing enterprise of jihadi infiltration at nuclear, utility and other infrastructure facilities. The memo, titled “Insider Threat to Utilities,” warned that “violent extremists have, in fact, obtained insider positions.” Moreover, “outsiders have attempted to solicit utility-sector employees” for damaging physical and cyber attacks.

“Based on the reliable reporting of previous incidents, we have high confidence in our judgment that insiders and their actions pose a significant threat to the infrastructure and information systems of U.S. facilities,” the bulletin detailed. "Insider information on sites, infrastructure, networks, and personnel is valuable to our adversaries and may increase the impact of any attack on the utilities infrastructure.”

No kidding, Captain Obvious and First Lieutenant Duh!

Since the 9/11 attacks, the U.S. nuclear industry has spent more than $2 billion upgrading security — including more than doubling the number of armed guards at entrances and checkpoints surrounding the plants.

But when the threats are coming from inside the tent, all those armed forces outside the perimeters are for show.

South Jersey jihadist and al-Qaida-linked radical Sharif Mobley held positions at several nuclear power plants in Salem County, New Jersey, before moving to Yemen. He had passed several federal background checks as recently as 2008. In December, Mobley was sentenced to 10 years in prison after shooting a guard during an attempted escape from detention on terrorism charges.

How many radicalized Muslims — homegrown converts, foreign business visa holders and foreign students — are working inside America’s sensitive infrastructure? Thanks to our suicidal refusal to profile international visitors and workers from jihadist breeding grounds, nobody knows!

Politically correct politicians and terror-coddling grievance groups condemn monitoring and tracking of Muslim refugees and Muslims enclaves (such as those in Minneapolis and Maine where tens of thousands of Somalis have resettled). They cried “Islamophobia” when homeland security officials wanted to interview Muslim visa holders from terror-sponsoring nations after the 9/11 attacks.

And consider this: There are now more than 100,000 Muslim students accepted into U.S. college and universities every year from the Middle East and North Africa. Nuclear engineering is one of the fields of study for which F-1 foreign student visa holders can obtain work and extended residency through the Optional Training Program. None are screened for jihadist loyalties and sympathies.

How many legal visa holders let alone illegal visa overstayers who entered through these pipelines have gained access to sensitive facilities? Nobody knows!

Earlier this year, DHS admitted it doesn’t investigate 99 percent of illegal visa overstayers who entered here on business or tourism — 500,000-plus in 2015 alone, including thousands from Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, Libya, Pakistan, Syria and Yemen. The feds still haven’t compiled up-to-date visa overstay data for those who came in as foreign students and guest workers including high-tech foreigners working in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

Then there are the security breaches involving who knows how many illegal border-crossers, fake document users and deportation violators. Dozens of illegal immigrants using fake Social Security numbers were swept up in immediate post-9/11 raids at nuclear sub bases, power plants and Navy aircraft carriers. But it didn’t take long for the feds to hit the snooze button.

In 2011, Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio arrested Cruz Loya Alvares, who was working at the Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station despite being a Mexican illegal immigrant who had been deported in 2000. He paid human smugglers to bring him back, secured work in construction, and somehow escaped re-deportation despite being cited by Mesa County Police for driving with a suspended license.

In 2012, another Mexican illegal immigrant, Nestor Martinez-Ochoa, who worked in construction, was arrested after trying to enter the same Palo Verde nuclear power plant with a fake ID — not by federal authorities, but again by Arpaio’s office.

These arrests are exceptions, not the rule. Worksite enforcement under President Obama is a joke.

The specter of nuclear jihad is terrifying, but the chilling fact is that homeland security has already been in meltdown for years. We’re doing ourselves in.

Facts are foreign to Trumpers as they continue to ignore them one after the other as they fac-1.jpg?width=198pertain to the true nature of their one and only candidate. Low-information voters are one thing but screw-the-facts to preserve a blind following voters are something else entirely.

It has been more than interesting, and quite telling, to watch as his Trumpness’s blind followers excuse one thing after another like their candidate’s position on abortion. When confronted with video of Trump making his pro-choice agenda known, Trumpers excuse it because it was “so long ago it is no longer relevant” and besides, they claim, he’s changed…evolved.

Then they ignore completely his stand on the topic from just 2 years ago when he again made his true liberal agenda known by tweeting…”7 months, 8 months, 9 months pregnant, it doesn’t matter. Women should have the choice to abortion.”

Just last Wednesday, the Trumpers darling candidate advocated for punishments of any women who get abortions if abortions are made illegal but that men should not be held in any way responsible.  His Trumpness was quite clear on the subject even after further questioning by Chris Matthews…

GREED DESTROYED THE MORAL LEADERSHIP OF OUR COUNTRY.

http://www.chicagobusiness.com/article/20160202/NEWS13/160209943/fists-start-flying-over-chicago-schools

Chicago should learn from the president of Ecuador Rafael Correa. Place people before money, not money before people.

The foundation of our society are our youth, we must do the impossible to educate our youth; we must place education and the future of our people before money, not money before people.

The problem in the whole country is the 30 Years of Reaganomics that destroyed our economic.  The economic policies of Ronald Reagan was a deception and a lie that continue for 30 years and to this day in being promoted by the corrupt politicians puppets of the oligarchs and the propaganda machinery of the ones that control our country "THE MAIN STREAM NEWS MEDIA”. Cutting taxes for the rich; give them the power to buy the corrupt politicians and control our cities and our country’s economic; that destroyed our jobs, our schools, our education system our infrastructure and our cities, Hundreds of cities are being destroy by the so call Reaganomics and we are in complete denial of the cause of this destruction and the demise our country, by Reaganomics the ill policy that cut taxes for the rich at the expenses of the working class.

JOIN THE POLITICAL REVOLUTION

By: Juan Reynoso, WTP Activist -  www.represent.us

Americas must realize that self-scrutiny is not treason. Self-examination is not disloyalty. Truth and knowledge diffused among the people are necessary for the reclamation and preservation of our Democracy, rights, freedom and liberties.

GREED DESTROYED THE MORAL LEADERSHIP OF OUR COUNTRY

Greed destroyed the moral leadership of our country- http://biblescripture.net/Bill.html

The U.S. should learn from the president of Ecuador Rafael Correa. Place people before money, not money before people.

We need a US political revolution to cleanse Washington and the states of this union of corrupt politicians and replace them with a moral leadership establishment that will be focus on the people of our United States. God give us hope and the wisdom to stand united to reclaim our country and make us to be the guiding light for the world to follow, not by force but by example.

30 Years of Reaganomics destroyed our economic, the economic policies of Ronald Reagan was a deception and a lie that continue for 30 years and to this day is being promoted by the corrupt politicians puppets of the oligarchs and the “THE MAIN STREAM NEWS MEDIA” the propaganda machinery of the ones that control our country . Cutting taxes for the rich; give them the power to buy the corrupt Washington politicians and control our country’s economic and to protect their interest in foreign countries send the CIA to undermine and overthrow these government by deception and lies in the name of democracy, human rights or whatever they invented to justified their ill takeover of these countries, for exploitation and predatory colonization of these countries.

I am 78 years old and I have experienced the takeover of our country by the oligarchs. It is the super-rich and the elite of the Republican Party Neocons warmongers that in a strategic partnership systematically are pushing back the progress of the American working class and all the effort of growing and improving our national economy.   Via the mainstream news media the propaganda machinery that feed the people their unchecked misinformation and disinformation, the Republican Party Neocon Elite has even shanghaied the emotional support of everyday ordinary Republican and Americans into taking non-sensible political positions against their own best economic and self-interests.

Today the people is waking up and seeing the results of the policies that were implemented by the puppets of the oligarchs “The majority of the neocons Republicans and the Democrats whores” that sell out to the oligarchs. Americans today find themselves to an increasingly unaffordable healthcare, a true unemployment of 18% with no private sector job or growth opportunities, poor quality education and few good teachers that really care to educate our children, a police force that is overpay and abuse their power and become the number one killers of the minority in this country. The American worker is the one that suffer the consequences, no one can denied that most American today work for slave wages that it is not enough to cover their family living expenses such as food, housing, health insurance, gas, and other things they need; we are on the path toward a third-world country, but it is not too late to change this path of self-destruction, millions of people recognize what is happening and they are join the BERNIE SANDERS political revolution to help all of us the ordinary American, in a sustained effort to get off our country from the path toward a third world country status. Thanks God we have some Republicans and Democrats that believe in our country’s mission, that our country was founded by the people and for the people; under the ideology that our government was formed to protect and defend our God given freedom and liberty to self-determination. Our US constitution and our Bill of rights it is based on the Bible principles “The laws of nature are the laws of God, whose authority can be superseded by no power on earth.”

It is not too late to recognize, that what is happening in our country is the result of greed for power and money, the love for money destroy our nation moral responsibility. God is giving us hope to take our country back and reclaim our moral principles, take responsibility for the making of our future and embrace God’s laws as our guiding light to build a country with moral responsibility toward all humanity.

Our country was formed under the Bible’s principles.

Disarming the people is a sure way that leads to oppression of the people. Look to Cuba, the government took away their guns, then their property and finally businesses. The island was turned from a prosperous island to a third world country by its leaders. Noah Webster urged the ratification of the Constitution, "Before a standing army can rule, the people must be disarmed; as they are in almost every kingdom in Europe." George Mason stated in his Virginia delegates regarding the colonies' recent experience with Britain, in which the Monarch's goal had been "to disarm the people; that [that] . . . was the best and most effectual way to enslave them." A widely reprinted article by Tench Coxe, an ally and correspondent of James Madison, described the Second Amendment's overriding goal as a check upon the national government's standing army: As civil rulers, not having their duty to the people duly before them, may attempt to tyrannize, and as the military forces which must be occasionally raised to defend our country, might pervert their power to the injury of their fellow citizens, the people are confirmed by the next article in their right to keep and bear their private arms.

Why do they hate Trump ?

I find it hard to understand the liberal demos when they find Mr.Trump the worst candidate this country has ever had.   Some say he is not smart enough.  That he is anti-women.   That he is anti-abortion.

Mr.Obama went to Columbia Univ. and they will not release his grades and achievements (if any).

Mr.Obama spent less than one term in congress before being elected..(With no achievements)

In the last 7+ years Mr.Obama has shredded our Constitution.

Mr.Obama is very pro-abortion (the murdering of babies).

Etc.Etc.

But the liberals find no problems anywhere with him.

Mr.Trump is a very smart businessman. Not a lawyer Not a politician   He loves women (He married several).  He has great, lovable children.

We need exactly this type of person to run this country..

How nObama Facilitated More Islamic Terror
Most Americans are well aware of the Islamic terrorist attack in Brussels last week that left 35 dead. That awareness level probably declines, however, regarding the Easter Sunday attack in Pakistan. Jamaat-ul-Ahrar (JuA), a faction of the Pakistani Taliban, slaughtered 72 people, mostly children, and reminded the world their "target was Christians." Despite these atrocities, progressives here and in the EU invariably assure us the threat of terrorism is overblown. Such despicable nonsense cannot withstand a terribly inconvenient reality: There are far more Islamic attacks occurring than being reported by the media.
"This list of terrorist attacks committed by Muslims since 9/11/01 ... is incomplete because not all such attacks are picked up by international news sources, even those resulting in multiple loss of life," explains a website dedicated to chronicling violence committed by the Religion of Peace™. "These are not incidents of ordinary crime involving nominal Muslims killing for money or vendetta. We only include incidents of deadly violence that are reasonably determined to have been committed out of religious duty — as interpreted by the perpetrator."
What has been picked up is nothing short of astounding. In the last 30 days alone, there have been 136 terrorist attacks in 25 different countries. Those attacks have killed 1,122 people and injured another 3,111. And the website is quick to remind us that undercounting remains an ongoing problem, citing November 2014 as a month where they accounted for 284 attacks and 2,515 deaths, even as a BBC analysis of the same time period tallied 664 attacks and 5,042 deaths in 14 different countries.
For perspective, BBC notes those totals came to "a daily average of 168 deaths, or seven every hour."
Yet for many progressives and their media enablers, questioning or criticizing Islam results in reflexive accusations of Islamophobia. Leading the charge are organizations like the Council on Islamic-American Relations (CAIR) despite its continuing status as an unindicted co-conspirator in the terror-finance trial against the Holy Land Foundation and several officials of that organization found guilty of funding the terrorist group Hamas.
CAIR is joined by nObama, who can't put the words "terrorism" and "Islamic" in the same sentence, yet assures us that the Islamic State is "not an existential threat" to the United States. This despite FBI director James Comey's revelation last October that there are at least 900 investigations of suspected ISIL operatives, recruits and individuals currently occurring, putting his agency under a strain. "If that becomes the new normal," Comey said, "that would be hard to keep up."

 OPINION IN BRIEF
Ryan Anderson: "Big business has stomped into another state, trying to impose the values of the cultural left. This time, a governor who dared to stand up for responsible policy is being targeted by big business' bullying over bathrooms. At issue is H.B. 2, a bill North Carolina Gov. Pat McCrory signed into law last week after it passed the House 83-25 and the Senate 32-0. ... The mayor of San Francisco issued an order to 'to bar any publicly-funded city employee travel to the State of North Carolina.' ThinkProgress reports that IBM, PayPal, Apple, Facebook, Google, and Salesforce are all against the law. The ACLU has even lodged a federal lawsuit against North Carolina. The NBA has said North Carolina's law might make it move the 2017 All-Star Game out of Charlotte. The NBA threat over the All-Star Game is particularly amusing. The NBA (and its sister organization, the WNBA) apparently think bathroom access shouldn't be based on biology, but basketball leagues should. The NBA and WNBA, of course, are free to have gender-neutral basketball teams — and to have gender-neutral bathrooms at those games. That they are threatening the state to impose a policy that even they haven't voluntarily adopted is the height of hypocrisy. ... What Americans need now is strong political leadership to stand up to the cronyist bullying and do what's best for the American people."

 North Carolina's Bathroom Wars
The North Carolina legislature is under immense scrutiny for overruling a Charlotte city ordinance that, come April 1, would have forced businesses to give transgender people special admission privileges in selecting dressing and restroom facilities. Talk about an April Fools' joke.
Predictably, the Leftmedia's bias is showing. According to CBS News, "The law Republican Gov. Pat McCrory signed last week requires people to use multi-stall bathrooms that match their birth certificates at state agencies, schools and universities, even if that means forcing transgender people with heavy beards to use women's rooms and putting people with feminine appearances in men's rooms." Quite frankly, this isn't about placating the demands of "transgender people with heavy beards" or "people with feminine appearances." It's about protecting the wellbeing of otherwise healthy children. Besides, the law doesn't say a man who undergoes surgery to remove his manhood can't change his birth certificate.
That America is even having this debate is absurd, but even more fatuous is the angst it's giving so-called LGBT pacifiers.
We begin with North Carolina Attorney General Roy Cooper, who announced he intends not to honor the law and, in fact, to refuse to defend it against any challenge. According to Cooper, "Not only is this new law a national embarrassment, it will set North Carolina's economy back if we don't repeal it."
That prompted Gov. McCrory to fire back, "When you are the state's lawyer, you are a lawyer first and a politician second. Therefore, I encourage the Attorney General to reconsider his flawed logic. I am fulfilling my oath of office and we expect him to do the same." He's right. But just like the nObama Justice Department — which is constitutionally tasked with defending Rule of Law — declined to defend the Defense of Marriage Act, don't expect much oath-keeping in the North Carolina AG's office.
Meanwhile, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo and San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee have signed directives prohibiting government employees from visiting North Carolina on the taxpayers' dime. Cuomo declared, "As long as there is a law in North Carolina that creates the grounds for discrimination against LGBT people, I am barring non-essential state travel to that state."
There are myriad issues at play here. Heritage Foundation's Ryan Anderson calls the blowback "textbook cultural cronyism" and explains that, under the bill's terms, "private schools, restaurants, stores, and businesses are free to establish whatever bathroom policies they'd like, but that access to government bathrooms will be determined primarily by biological sex." That's hardly what we would call "unfair," but it's precisely why leftists are deliberately misrepresenting the law as discriminatory. In their minds, the only "fair" law is one that subordinates our natural rights to their agenda. Anderson goes on to make this astute observation:

The NBA has said North Carolina's law might make it move the 2017 All-Star Game out of Charlotte. The NBA threat over the All-Star Game is particularly amusing. The NBA (and its sister organization, the WNBA) apparently think bathroom access shouldn't be based on biology, but basketball leagues should. The NBA and WNBA, of course, are free to have gender-neutral basketball teams — and to have gender-neutral bathrooms at those games. That they are threatening the state to impose a policy that even they haven't voluntarily adopted is the height of hypocrisy.

Giving further credence to one of the fundamental arguments conservatives have made against placating transgender individuals, Family Research Council's Tony Perkins writes: "[E]ntire companies are threatening to pull out of the state because Governor McCrory refused to risk the safety of his entire state for less than one half of one percent of the country's population. And, it turns out, he may have done more to protect the people who identify as transgendered than most liberals have. Just this week, a transgendered woman was raped in one of these new unisex bathrooms — at an LGBT landmark no less. At the Stonewall Inn in New York City, the liberals' monument to 'tolerance,' one of their own was attacked. Even here, at this bastion of sexual confusion, these policies are hurting the people they were designed to 'help!'" Considering most students struggling with transgenderism eventually move on, the question has to be asked: What's the objective? Perkins adds:

According to the American College of Pediatricians, the Left's agenda is child abuse! The harms of this gender ideology, which the ACP lays out ... in its statement of opposition, can destroy a person for life. What sends the wrong message are policies that try to keep children frozen in this fleeting phase of uncertainty. A full 98% of gender-confused boys and 88% of gender-confused girls "eventually accept their biological sex after naturally passing through puberty."

North Carolina got this one right, and other states should take note. The best way conservatives can respond is by emulating Gov. McCrory and forge ahead amid intense opposition — and there will be much of it from the Rainbow Mafia. As Anderson says, "What Americans need now is strong political leadership to stand up to the cronyist bullying and do what's best for the American people." That takes principled steadfastness. {rickwells.us} ~ Hilly Clinton makes her positions clear in a rally that had more excitement than the typical ear drum- grating, spine tingling, cringe-inducing cackle fests we’ve become familiar with but will never become accustomed to... With a little bit of creative editing to deliver the proper message that needed to be heard, the one that was languishing on the inside, dying to get out was freed, released into the public sphere, depicting some glimpses into just who is the real Hilly Clinton. The Democrat front runner tells the crowd, “Don’t let anybody tell you to trust and respect the presidential candidate’s rhetoric. Because, you know what? It works.” She continued, “Killery Clinton belongs to corporations but unfortunately, hundreds of thousands of people seem to have forgotten that basic truth.” She says, “So let there be no doubt. I’m just interested in wealth and power, not making things right.”...        http://rickwells.us/archives/27949

{freebeacon.com} ~ North Korea has developed a new long-range mobile intercontinental ballistic missile that the Pentagon says moves the country’s leader Kim Jong Un closer to the goal of building missiles capable of striking the U.S. mainland with nuclear warheads... The new missile is called the KN-14 by the Pentagon and is a longer-range variant of the KN-08 road-mobile ICBM first made public in 2012. Both the KN-08 and the new KN-14 have not been flight tested. {wnd.com} ~ Perhaps it’s my twisted imagination, but I can’t help observing current geopolitical machinations and wonder what individuals from another juncture in history or even a non-earthbound civilization might conclude about our society and, more importantly, those who currently hold power and pre-eminence among us... There are things occurring on the geopolitical scene that simply do not merit debate over what is actually transpiring, yet on a daily basis, these are being misrepresented by political leaders, media, the press and even religious leaders to such a degree that it is surreal beyond description. One of the most noteworthy examples of this phenomenon has been our scurvy knave of a low-born, treasonous scoundrel president, Barack Hussein nObama, as he attempts to characterize Muslim populations as benign and assimilable. Specifically, I refer to nObama’s recent rhetoric in light of the massive uptick in terror attacks by Muslims over the last several years. He’s found it necessary to admonish Americans not to hold animosity nor suspicion toward “America’s Mooslims” as a result of their worldwide terror attacks, their ongoing invasion of Europe and the tinderbox they have made of the Middle East and parts of Africa. Presumably, this is toward strengthening his argument for allowing untold numbers of Muslim “refugees” into the United States...

{aei.org} ~ Writing in this space five years ago, I made the controversial prediction that the rating of U.S. government debt would soon be downgraded. In August of that year, Standard & Poor’s duly obliged... I revisited the topic in November 2011 and argued that the U.S. would probably not regain its stain-free AAA rating anytime soon: The history of downgrades is that they endure. At this writing, the U.S. has yet to regain that rating. Today, we are deep into a presidential election, and no candidate of either major party has made much of the national debt. Bernie Sanders has proposed perhaps $20 trillion in new spending and Mrs. Clinton has suggested a good deal of her own, while the Republicans have tended to emphasize tax reductions. Chris Christie was the candidate who focused most on the debt, offering an ambitious Social Security reform. Is it right to ignore the debt? Have the fiscal-policy developments of the past few years fixed the problem? Not so long ago, the Greek economy was in free fall, Greeks were rioting in the streets, and Germans were ponying up billions to bail them out. We have seen what a debt crisis looks like. Our politicians assume that it can’t happen here, and that debt reduction is not urgent. But this could be a big mistake...

{aei.org} ~ Many believe that the debate around income inequality – that inequality is increasing at a rapid pace and that the share of incomes at the top has become more concentrated over time – has been settled... However, a new study by economists Bricker et al. cautions against jumping hastily to these conclusions. In their paper, the authors find that earlier studies, relying largely on tax returns data to measure income inequality, have overstated the pace and share of income gains at the top. Addressing measurement and conceptual problems with earlier studies, their paper finds that the income share of the top 1 percent is lower today and is growing less rapidly than the estimates reported by economists Thomas Piketty and Emmanuel Saez. Specifically, the share of income received by the top 1 percent is reported at 23 percent in 2012 by Piketty and Saez, while Bricker et al. estimate it to be at 18 percent in 2012. Where do these differences in results come from?...        http://www.aei.org/publication/income-inequality-is-not-out-of-control/?utm_source=paramount&utm_medium=email&utm_content=AEITODAY&utm_campaign=040116

{wallstreetdaily.com} ~ There’s one area in which a Clinton presidency would be starkly different from that of a free-market Republican like Ted Cruz: regulation... She’s a staunch supporter of regulations for global warming as well as her favored industries – such as clean energy. While this stance would be a continuation of President nObama’s approach though different from her husband’s presidential policies, it would negatively impact the economy. Most regulatory agencies were founded in the early 1970s, when there was a sharp downturn in U.S. productivity growth. Annual U.S. labor productivity growth declined from an average of 2.9% in 1947-73, to 1.9% in 1973-2010. These rates dropped further to an annual 0.4% since 2010 during an era of extra-aggressive regulation and ultra-low interest rates...

{conservativereview.com} ~ When nObama delegitimized our immigration laws and implemented executive amnesty back in November 2014, he harnessed the fallout from the lawlessness as a means of blackmailing Congress to pass legislative amnesty... He is now doing the same thing with executive jailbreak in order to allure Congress into passing legislative jailbreak.  And much like with the immigration issue, Republican leaders are more than happy to give his jailbreak agenda tailwinds instead of opposing it with full vigor. Earlier today, nObama announced the commutation of sentences for 61 drug traffickers who will be released from federal prison in July.  According to the Associated Press, “The latest tranche of commutations brings to 248 the total number of inmates whose sentences nObama has commuted — more than the past six presidents combined.”  As we’ve noted in a series of articles this past year, the federal prison population is actually relatively small, hovering at roughly 160,000.  And most of those in federal prison, as opposed to state penitentiaries, are indeed violent criminals who likely committed other crimes but pleaded down to and were sentenced for drug trafficking.  Also, up to 30% are non-citizens and should be deported instead of released into our population...

The Coming ISIS–al Qaeda Merger

{foreignaffairs.com} ~ Thus in 1917 Leon Trotsky consigned the Mensheviks, the non-Bolshevik faction of the Russian Social Democratic Workers’ Party, to perennial insignificance—a fate from which they never recovered... Only five years ago, al Qaeda’s downfall appeared similarly imminent. Its founder and leader was dead. A succession of key lieutenants had been eliminated. And the region was transformed by the Arab Spring. Civil protest, it seemed, had achieved what terrorism had manifestly failed to deliver—and al Qaeda was the biggest loser. As John O. Brennan, then deputy national security advisor for Homeland Security and Counterterrorism and assistant to the president, told an audience gathered at a DC think tank in April 2012, “For the first time since this fight began, we can look ahead and envision a world in which the al Qaeda core is simply no longer relevant.” Less than a month later, on the first anniversary of al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden’s killing, U.S. President Barack nObama proudly proclaimed that, “The goal that I set—to defeat al Qaeda and deny it a chance to rebuild—is now within our reach.” How completely different it all looks today. In February, Director of National Intelligence James R. Clapper painted a singularly bleak picture of a newly resurgent al Qaeda alongside an ambitiously expansionist Islamic State (ISIS) in his annual worldwide threat assessment. Al Qaeda and its affiliates, Clapper told the Senate Armed Services Committee, “have proven resilient and are positioned to make gains in 2016…. They will continue to pose a threat to local, regional, and even possibly global interests….” More alarming still was the rise of an even more extreme offshoot. ISIS, he explained, “has become the preeminent terrorist threat because of its self-described caliphate in Syria and Iraq, its branches and emerging branches in other countries, and its increasing ability to direct and inspire attacks against a wide range of targets around the world.”...        https://www.foreignaffairs.com/articles/2016-03-29/coming-isis-al-qaeda-merger?cid=nlc-twofa-20160331&sp_mid=51049333&sp_rid=cnVkeXRpcnJlQGdtYWlsLmNvbQS2&sp

{townhall.com} ~ As the world mourned the dead and wounded in Brussels and President nObama was doing "the wave" at a baseball game with commie dictator Raul Castro in Havana, ISIS was asking its followers on social media to choose which country's colors they would like next displayed on the Eiffel Tower.

At a press conference in Argentina from his next stop on his Spring Break tour, nObama said in a press conference "Groups like [ISIS] can't destroy us. They can't defeat us. They can't produce anything. They're not an existential threat to us." His laissez-faire tone implied Americans should accept as the "new normal" an occasional bombing here or a San Bernardino attack there.

Europe's utopian dream of open borders and coexistence has disappeared, and what's happening there is headed here if we take seriously what ISIS vows to accomplish. It's as if liberals believe their little piece of the world will miraculously remain safe -- if they don't offend the offenders.

Sometimes we just need to cast aside political correctness and call it for what it is. As Confucius said, "The beginning of wisdom is to call things by their right names." If we fail to identify this enemy, we give it license to define us -- and then destroy us. Frankly, America's doomed if another Democrat wins the White House in November. To liberals, American leadership means ignoring or coddling evil, not destroying it.

Truth is, the only hope we have is that a smart, strong and principled leader like Sen. Ted Cruz wins. Everyone's attacking Cruz for his comments on CNN after the Brussels attacks, suggesting cop presence be increased in questionable areas of the country. Cruz told Anderson Cooper: "If you have a neighborhood where there's a high level of gang activity, the way to prevent it is you increase the law enforcement presence there and you target the gang members to get them off the streets. I'm talking about any area where there is a higher incidence of radical Islamic terrorism."

As if that's a bad idea? A May 29, 2015 WND.com article, "Minnesota Muslims Brutally Honest: We Want Sharia," highlights that large numbers of Somali immigrants prefer Sharia Law and have little desire to assimilate into American culture. The article documents over the past 7 years "dozens of young Muslims have left the streets of Cedar-Riverside, referred to by some Minnesotans as 'Little Mogadishu' for its high concentration of Somali refugees, to travel abroad and fight for terrorist groups" like al-Shabab and ISIS. CBS News once reported the Cedar-Riverside neighborhood is a "fertile ground for Islamic terrorist groups recruiting new fighters."

And Ted Cruz's suggestion is out of line? Please. Cruz nailed it in his March 22, 2016 social media response to the Brussels attacks: "Radical Islam is at war with us. For over seven years we have had a president who refuses to acknowledge this reality. And the truth is, we can never hope to defeat this evil so long as we refuse to even name it. That ends on January 20, 2017, when I am sworn in as a president. We will name our enemy - radical Islamic terrorism. And we will defeat it."

And no, "tweeting" the enemy into oblivion isn't a plausible alternative. Speaking to a group of reporters the same day, Cruz called slump-Trump's policies into question saying, "Donald slump-Trump is wrong that America should withdraw from the world and abandon our allies. Donald slump-Trump is wrong that America should retreat from Europe, retreat from NATO, hand Putin a major victory and while he's at it hand ISIS a major victory."

While liberals lecture us on retaining our "American values" in response to ISIS, let's remember what Winston Churchill said: "Victory at all costs, victory in spite of all terror, victory however long and hard the road may be, for without victory, there is no survival."

"Without victory, there is no survival." Enough said.

Have You Hugged a Terrorist Today?

By Craig Andresen Right Side Patriots http://www.americanpbn.com/

Mark Zuckerberg had this to say regarding Islamic terrorists and Islamic terrorism…hug-1.jpg?width=185

“I believe the only sustainable way to fight back against those who seek to divide us is to create a world where understanding and empathy can spread faster than hate. Where every single person in every country feels connected and cared for and loved. That’s the world we can and must build together.”

In 2014, Hillary Clinton said this on the same topic…

“This is what we call smart power. Using every possible tool and partner to advance peace and security. Leaving no one on the sidelines. Showing respect even for one’s enemies. Trying to understand, in so far as psychologically possible, empathize with their perspective and point of view. Helping to define the problems, determine the solutions. That is what we believe in the 21st century will change — change the prospects for peace.”

Last year, in 2015, Obama spewed out this line…

“Efforts to counter violent extremism will only succeed if citizens can address legitimate grievances through the democratic process and express themselves through strong civil societies.”

And it was Marie Harf, the propagandist for John Kerry’s State Department who offered up this take on Islamic terrorists…

“We’re killing a lot of them, and we’re going to keep killing more of them. … But we cannot win this war by killing them. We need … to go after the root causes that leads people to join these groups, whether it’s lack of opportunity for jobs or…”

Let’s take these quotes from last to first shall we?

nObama to Media: You Shouldn't Let Pols Lie
The lecturer in chief is at it again, telling a group of journalists how to do their jobs. "A job well done is about more than just handing someone a microphone," Barack nObama pontificated. "It is to probe and to question, and to dig deeper, and to demand more. The electorate would be better served if that happened. It would be better served if billions of dollars in free media came with serious accountability, especially when politicians issue unworkable plans or make promises they can't keep. And there are reporters here who know they can't keep them. I know that's a shocking concept that politicians would do that. But without a press that asks tough questions, voters take them at their word. When people put their faith in someone who can't possibly deliver on his or her promises, that only breeds more cynicism."
He just perfectly described his rise in 2007 and 2008, though he pretty clearly meant his remarks as a rebuke for the unending media attention given to Donald slump-Trump over the last year. Who promised "if you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor"? Who swore he'd bring about the best recovery we've ever seen? Who insisted he would withdraw U.S. forces from Iraq and declare mission accomplished? And who not only got away with these phony promises, but won re-election after serving up such lies? nObama did, largely thanks to a Leftmedia that circled the wagons.
So for nObama to lecture his own sycophants about truth-telling against the other side, to borrow a phrase, "only breeds more cynicism."  -The Patriot Post

Nation's Last Handgun Ban Shot Down
The U.S District Court for the Mariana Islands struck down the nation's last handgun ban, ruling that permanent residents of the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI) have the constitutional right to keep and bear arms. "The Second Amendment, as well as the Due Process Clause and Equal Protection Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment, are the law of the land in the CNMI as if it were a state," wrote Chief Judge Ramona Manglona. "The Second Amendment, made applicable against the states through the Fourteenth Amendment, protects the fundamental right of armed self-defense, and prohibits any state from completely banning handguns." David Radich, a Navy veteran of the Gulf War, and his wife, Li-Rong Radich, took the commonwealth to court after Li-Rong was attacked and beaten when she was at home alone in 2010. When they applied for a weapons identification card to get a gun to protect themselves, they were ignored.
This isn't the only Second Amendment win of late. Last week, Idaho became the ninth state to institute constitutional carry, codifying that any resident 21 years or older has the right to carry without a permit. And earlier this month, the West Virginia legislature overrode its governor's veto to institute constitutional carry in that state. Such developments show that from the Appalachians to the furthest islands in the Pacific Ocean the law recognizes everyday Americans have the right to self defense, a right that is becoming harder for the Left to erode.   -The Patriot Post

GOP Primary: Broken Pledges and Sharpened  Knives  All three remaining candidates in the GOP primary said at a town hall event Tuesday night that they no longer stand by their pledges to support the eventual nominee. In September, Donald slump-Trump and the rest of the 17 candidates signed loyalty oaths to the eventual nominee. slump-Trump, though, gave himself an out by saying he would break his oath if he felt he was being treated unfairly. When asked Tuesday if he considers himself bound to the loyalty oath, slump-Trump responded, "No, I don't anymore," adding that he felt he had "been treated very unfairly." He can dish it out but he can't take it. What is slump-Trump's word worth? Not much more than a certificate from slump-Trump University.
Then again, the loyalty oath isn't exactly holding the other candidates. Ted Cruz said he would not support a candidate who attacked his wife, referring to slump-Trump's tweet comparing their wives' appearance. John "Prince of light 'n' hope" Kasich said he wants "to see how this thing finishes out."
Red State's Caleb Howe wrote regarding the broken pledges, "I will tell you this, and if you fail to accept it, then you fail at truth: It's slump-Trump's fault. Every other candidate would have supported the eventual nominee were it not for the poisonous Donald slump-Trump campaign destroying all it touches. That's just a fact y'all."
In related news, Marco Rubio has contacted Republican Party officials in states where he won delegates and asked that those delegates remain committed to him at the GOP Convention in July. In essence, he's trying to ensure a contested convention and block slump-Trump from winning the nomination on the first ballot. This deep division doesn't bode well for a party that must rally around a candidate in order to defeat Hilly Clinton in November.    -The Patriot Post

{cnsnews.com} ~  In a second loss in less than two weeks, a federal court has once again ruled against the nObama administration, this time in a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) tussle with Judicial Watch over the Clinton email fiasco... Previously, on March 22, the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals ordered the Justice Department and the IRS to stop their “continuous resistance” and “meritless” objections to producing information and documentation sought in a lawsuit filed by a Tea Party organization in the IRS targeting scandal. This time, Judge Royce C. Lamberth of the District Court of the District of Columbia issued an order on March 29 giving Judicial Watch the ability to take limited discovery of State Department officials on the adequacy of the Department’s “search for responsive documents” in a FOIA request filed by Judicial Watch seeking former Secretary of State Hilly Clinton’s internal email correspondence. The purpose of the discovery, which, Lamberth admitted, “is exceedingly rare in FOIA cases,” is to help the court determine whether the State Department’s search “reasonably produced all responsive documents.”...  http://www.cnsnews.com/commentary/hans-von-spakovsky/obamas-state-department-loses-another-round-clinton-email-fiasco

Famed humanitarian and philosopher Bernard-Henri Lévy

{algemeiner.com} ~ The world today is engaged in a “battle for truth” against three main lies being spread by antisemites and growing in popularity, said French philosopher and humanitarian Bernard-Henri Lévy... In his acceptance speech for the Warrior for Truth Award at the third annual Algemeiner “Jewish 100 Gala” in New York Monday evening, Lévy explained that while the current wave of antisemitism has not yet won, “It could win at the end” if “the work for the truth, the battle for truth” is not waged. Referring to the classic ancient enemy of the Jews recounted in the Torah, Lévy said, “Who is Amalek today? What is the face of Amalek today? Amalek is everywhere, of course, but especially in the minds and bodies of the antisemites. When people ask me in my country, but also everywhere, what to do against antisemitism, how to reply to antisemitism, how to resist this wave which has not won at all but which could win at the end, I used to say that the only reply is a battle for truth.”...        http://www.algemeiner.com/2016/03/30/bernard-henri-levy-at-algemeiner-gala-we-must-wage-battle-for-truth-against-antisemitisms-three-main-lies-video/#

{news.usni.org} ~ As is the case in privacy laws created after World War II, and widened in the wake of the Edward Snowden leaks in Europe, “we’re going to pay a price” for limiting intelligence-collection when it comes to knowing what adversaries, terrorists and even allies are thinking... the former chairman of the U.S. House Intelligence Committee said Wednesday. Mike Rogers, speaking at the Heritage Foundation, a Washington, D.C., think-tank, used the CIA as an example of self-imposed restrictions limiting intelligence-gathering. “If you’re not stealing secrets . . . how do you know what their intention is?” such as when China deploys troops for the first time outside its region to Djibouti in the Horn of Africa or Russia changes its cyber-use policy and then knocks out Ukraine’s electric grid. The seven-term Republican congressman from Michigan mentioned both countries’ militarization of space as another threat and one that could directly affect American military operations. With the Federal Reserve inspiring a sense of desperation around fad markets, it’s important to stay cautious. The popular stock you pick now may have to be “returned” later at a lower price. This is especially true when it comes to electric utilities, as of late. {breitbart.com} ~ There is much debate over the negative effects of massive trade deficits, and what the best strategy for correcting them might be, but it’s hard to deny the U.S. trade deficit with China is staggering in scale … and it got that way after just a few decades of old-school “free trade” orthodoxy. Raul Amoros of HowMuch.net puts the issue in perspective: The start couldn’t be more balanced: in 1985, the U.S. exported $3.9 billion to China, and imported goods and services for the exact same amount. But by 2015, there was a staggering imbalance, to China’s advantage, of $365.7 billion – an all-time record, not just for U.S.-China trade, but for any bilateral trade, ever. It’s not that U.S. exports to China haven’t increased. They have, and by a lot. America exported an impressive $116.2 billion into China last year, 30 times more than in 1985. That makes China the U.S.’s third-biggest export market, nearly twice as important as Japan ($62.5 billion), in fourth place. But that’s still a lot less than U.S. exports to Canada ($280.3 billion) or Mexico ($236.4 billion). Meanwhile, Chinese exports to the U.S. have exploded. In 2015, China exported $481.9 billion to the U.S. – an amazing 123 times more than in 1985...        http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2016/03/30/30-years-free-trade-brings-400-trade-imbalance-china/

{pjmedia.com} ~ If, since 9/11, you've begun to think that all American politicians are corrupt, that our national anger was deliberately misdirected to places where it could be expended with absolutely no result, and that our military has been exhausted in a series of pointless, unwinnable wars against third-rate Islamic nations...you're absolutely correct... Everywhere you look, from George W. Bush holding hands with various members of the Saudi "royal" family on down, the real enemy of civilization wraps its tentacles more tightly around us. Case in point: the sham GOP candidate, widely despised former Naval officer and second-most-loathed man in the U.S. Senate, the ineffable John McCain: A nonprofit with ties to Senator John McCain received a $1 million donation from the government of Saudi Arabia in 2014, according to documents filed with the U.S. Internal Revenue Service. The Arizona Republican has strictly honorary roles with the McCain Institute for International Leadership, a program at Arizona State University, and its fundraising arm, the McCain Institute Foundation, according to his office. But McCain has appeared at fundraising events for the institute and his Senate campaign’s fundraiser is listed in its tax returns as the contact person for the foundation...

{onenewsnow.com} ~ If there is one thing that is bipartisan in Washington, it is brazen hypocrisy.

Currently there is much indignation being expressed by Democrats because the Republican-controlled Senate refuses to hold confirmation hearings on President nObama's nominee to the Supreme Court, to fill the vacancy caused by the death of Justice Antonin Scalia.

The Democrats complain, and the media echo their complaint, that it is the Senate's duty to provide "advice and consent" on the President's appointment of various federal officials. Therefore, according to this claim, the Senate is neglecting its Constitutional duty by refusing even to hold hearings to determine whether the nominee is qualified, and then vote accordingly.

First of all, the "advice and consent" provision of the Constitution is a restriction on the President's power, not an imposition of a duty on the Senate. It says nothing about the Senate's having a duty to hold hearings, or vote, on any Presidential nominee, whether for the Supreme Court or for any other federal institution. The power to consent is the power to refuse to consent, and for many years no hearings were held, whether the Senate consented or did not consent.

Nor have Democrats hesitated, when they controlled the Senate, to refuse to hold hearings or to vote when a lame-duck President nominated someone for some position requiring Senate confirmation during a Presidential election year.

When the shoe was on the other foot, the Republicans made the same arguments as the Democrats are making today, and the Democrats made the same arguments as the Republicans are now making.

The obvious reason, in both cases, is that the party controlling the Senate wants to save the appointment for their own candidate for the Presidency to make after winning the upcoming election. The rest is political hypocrisy on both sides.

None of this is new. It was already well-known 40 years ago, when President Gerald Ford nominated me to become one of the commissioners of the Federal Trade Commission during the 1976 Presidential election year.

After months passed without any hearings being held, I went to see the chief legislative aide of the committee that was responsible for confirming or denying. When the two of us were alone, he said to me, quite frankly, "We've gone over your record with a fine tooth comb and can find nothing to object to. So we are simply not going to hold hearings at all."

"If this were not an election year," he said, "your nomination would have sailed right through. But we think our man is going to win the Presidential election this year, and we want him to nominate someone in tune with our thinking."

Various Democrats who are currently denouncing the Republican Senate, including Vice President loose lips-Biden, have used very similar arguments against letting lame-duck Republican Presidents appoint Supreme Court justices.

Last week, the New York Times ran a front-page "news" story about something Chief Justice John Roberts had said, more than a month ago, prior to the death of Justice Scalia, under the headline "Stern Rebuke For Senators."

Since Justice Scalia was still alive then, and there was no Supreme Court vacancy to fill at the time, Chief Justice Roberts' remarks had nothing to do with the current controversy. Nor were these remarks news after such a long lapse of time. But this was part of a pattern of the New York Times' disguising editorials as front-page news stories.

In short, the political hypocrisy was matched by journalistic hypocrisy. Indeed, there was more than a little judicial hypocrisy in Chief Justice Roberts' complaint that Senate confirmation hearings on Supreme Court nominees do not confine themselves to the nominees' judicial qualifications, rather than their conservative or liberal orientations.

If judges confined themselves to acting like judges, instead of legislating from the bench, creating new "rights" out of thin air that are nowhere to be found in the Constitution, maybe Senate confirmation hearings for Supreme Court nominees would not be such bitter and ugly ideological battles.

Chief Justice Roberts himself practically repealed the 10th Amendment's limitation on federal power when he wrote the decision that the government could order us all to buy nObamaCare insurance policies. When judges act like whores, they can hardly expect to be treated like nuns.

Politicians, journalists and judges should all spare us pious hypocrisy.

What is happening in the USA?  Is America becoming a nation whereas an overwhelming majority of citizens covet money more than the yearn for God’s guidance as instructed in our Holy Bible?

“For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.” 1 Timothy 6:10 (KJV)

Georgia’s Republican Gov. Nathan Deal ‘vetoed’ legislation that would support God’s Word; Deal saying economics (money) was justifiable for his veto.

The issue at hand?  Males and females must use separate bathrooms for protecting our children.

LGBT based organizations are pressuring businesses to discontinue spending money, and governments to ‘oppose’ legislation(s) in all states; in LGBT’s effort to compel these sick and immoral communities to use economics (money) as the basis to disguise their wicked issue.  LGBT is rejecting God’s law, as described in the Holy Bible.

Without leadership, Pastors, Priests, Vicars, etc. will be forced to cease teaching Christians Biblical Instructions.

Our Holy Bible rejects LGBT based government legislations: Leviticus 18:22 (KJV); Leviticus 20:13, and Romans 1:26-27.  Federalist Papers freedoms and values are expressed in ‘creating’ our US Constitution.

Our Founding Fathers’ Judeo-Christian values’ writings are expressed in the Declaration of Independence and our Constitution.

Americans must return to Biblical principles.  Scriptural teachings create ‘peace of mind’.

Americans must restore Judeo-Christian values.  Constitutional freedoms and values will be restored.  WWJD?  Watch it!

 Vetoing Religious Liberty
On Monday, religious liberty took another hit when Georgia Republican Governor Nathan Deal vetoed a bill passed by the state legislature earlier this month. We have long warned that the path to same-sex marriage was a slippery slope because the Rainbow Mafia won't stop their bullying until they get total acceptance of their way. And it's made worse when proper protections can't be put in place.
Deal apparently caved to the pressure of big business and chose to side with economic interests over Liberty and common sense. For a governor who has a reasonably conservative track record, this compromise on the principles of Liberty comes as a double blow. But it also demonstrates how the homosexual lobby along with big businesses that support that agenda won't even tolerate the mildest form of protection for those who cherish religious freedom.
As the Heritage Foundation's Ryan Anderson notes, "The Georgia religious freedom bill that Deal vetoed would have safeguarded clergy from having to officiate same-sex weddings, prevented faith-based organizations from being forced to hire someone who publicly undermines their mission, and prohibited the state government from discriminating against churches and their affiliated ministries because they believe marriage is between a man and a woman."
But he also noted the bill was "the result of a series of compromises that significantly watered down the original version." For example, the bill did not protect bakers, florists and other small business owners who might be involved in wedding ceremonies. Those are the ones who would benefit most from this legislation, but nevertheless several big business executives from Disney, Apple, Time Warner, Intel and Salesforce called governor Deal asking him to veto the legislation. The NFL and NCAA also threatened to yank future sporting events from the state.
Apparently the economic pressure, and threats of boycotts and of canceling football championships were too much for the governor and he sided with uncommon sense over the common good.
Anderson notes that in explaining his veto, Deal argued that the religious liberty bill "doesn't reflect the character of our state or the character of its people." He also added that states should not pass any religious freedom laws, for religious freedom "is best left to the broad protections of the First Amendment."
Ideally, he's correct, but the governor is missing the point behind the bill that he just vetoed. As Anderson notes, "Americans need both broad protections and specific protections."
Yes it is true that the First Amendment shields Americans from government encroachment on religious freedom. But it is also true that the Rainbow Mafia is increasingly aggressive in its fascist efforts to enforce "tolerance" — to force individuals and businesses to either violate conscience or be charged with discrimination.
This bill was designed to protect pastors, churches and Christian schools in Georgia from being forced to comply with the demands of homosexual activists. It is not enough for the homosexual activists and big businesses that support them to recognize that there are already some so-called churches and religious organizations that do accept and promote their lifestyle. No, they want everyone to accept and celebrate it.
Where is the tolerance in this? If you believe that marriage is between one man and one woman, yet you can't operate a business or a church on that belief, then where is the freedom? Obviously, there is no tolerance, only compliance, and if there isn't compliance then there are and will be penalties.
Deal missed the perfect opportunity to take a stand for the truth. And by not taking a stand on principle, the liberty of the pastors, churches and religious schools in the Peach State is jeopardized, while the Rainbow Mafia is emboldened by a victory.
Our culture has and is changing, and for that reason alone it is essential that state and local governments preserve liberty for those who desire to maintain the traditional view of marriage being between one man and one woman.
There will be numerous legal challenges ahead, regardless of the outcome in Georgia. While this battle for religious liberty was lost, the war for our culture will continue. We must not cave to the pressures from those who seek to strip away one of our most fundamental freedoms.  -The Patriot Post

{thenewamerican.com} ~ There is a growing sense — expressed by legal experts over the past few weeks — that Hilly Clinton will soon be indicted for storing and transmitting classified information over her unsecured, private e-mail server... Now, that sense is beginning to take the form of formal interviews, as investigators are poised to question some people very close to the former secretary of state. The Los Angeles Times reported Sunday that federal prosecutors working on the high-profile case “have begun the process of setting up formal interviews with some of Clinton's longtime and closest aides, according to two people familiar with the probe, an indication that the inquiry is moving into its final phases.” This seems to substantiate the statements of some — including Judge Napollitano — that the immunity offered to Brian Pagliano, who set up and maintained the server for Clinton, is an indication that a grand jury is hearing evidence in the case...        http://www.thenewamerican.com/usnews/crime/item/22862-indictment-could-be-only-weeks-away-for-clinton

{aei.org} ~ Since 2008, the Federal Reserve has engaged in three rounds of quantitative easing that has enormously expanded the size of the Federal Reserve’s balance sheet from $800 billion to around $4.5 trillion at present... It has done so with the intention of stimulating the U.S. economy through increasing asset prices and through encouraging more risk taking by lenders. In the process, the Federal Reserve has helped to produce a strong bull market in equity prices and a large reduction in borrowing rates for high risk borrowers both at home and abroad. It has also resulted in extraordinarily low interest rates on bank deposits and on other instruments of household saving. While the Federal Reserve might claim that its policy of aggressive quantitative easing helped to shorten the U.S. economic recession and to promote the gradual economic recovery of the past several years, it also contributed to a sense of economic unfairness among a broad segment of the electorate. Equally troubling, it seems to have set up the stage for large corrections in both domestic and global financial markets that could entail substantial long run costs to the American and global economies. At a time that a strong boom in equity prices substantially boosted the wealth of stockholders, who for the most part are in the upper income brackets, real wages continued their long-run secular stagnation. Similarly, at a time that equity holders were prospering on the back of a rising stock market, savers, especially in the older age brackets, were seeing their interest earnings decimated. It should be little wonder then that a large part of the electorate are now clamoring for a basic change in economic policy direction that might be of greater benefit to their own economic wellbeing than have past policies...        http://www.aei.org/publication/quantitative-easings-chickens-coming-

{dailysignal.com} ~ As every 10-year-old who ever got a sweater for a birthday present has been told, “it’s the thought that counts.” That seems to be the guiding principle at the Department of Energy and the California Public Utilities Commission when it comes to solar power... The latest example is the $2.2 billion Ivanpah solar thermal plant in California. (Note: Solar thermal plants do not use solar panels to directly convert sunshine to electricity; they use sunshine to boil water that then drives conventional turbines.) In spite of all this, Ivanpah has fallen woefully short of its production targets. The managers’ explanation for why production came up 32 percent below expected output is the weather. In addition to raising questions about planning for uncertainty, it is not all that clear how a nine-percent drop in sunshine causes a 32-percent drop in production...        http://dailysignal.com/2016/03/29/taxpayers-are-footing-bill-for-solar-project-that-doesnt-work/?utm_source=heritagefoundation&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=morningbell&mkt_tok=3RkMMJWWfF9wsRonu6vIdO%2FhmjTEU5z16uwlXaS1iokz2EFye%2BLIHETpodcMTcRhM7zYDBceEJhqyQJxPr3NLtQN191pRhLiDA%3D%3D

It is not as though there haven't been plenty of opportunities. {jewishworldreview.com} ~ Admit it. After the terrorist attacks in Brussels this past week, after the brief reflection for those lost or wounded and the sense of "oh, no, not again" passed, other thoughts quickly followed.
.

My own selfish but natural worry, as a mother of three: Should we cancel that trip to Europe this summer?
.

And the questions I've fielded from family and friends, as a professional in homeland security and counterterrorism in the nearly 15 years since 9/11, have varied but never ceased: Should I buy a gun? Only with training and safety measures at home, and certainly not to combat Islamic terrorists. Is Times Square safe on New Year's Eve? Like every crowd scene, you have to stay alert, but security is high at events like that. Or my personal favorite, because it combines parental insecurities with disaster management: Is Tulane a good school so many years after Hurricane Katrina? Yes; it had a few rough months, but your kid should still apply.
.

All these queries about a world in mayhem boil down to: Is my family safe? The answer is both simple and liberating: No, not entirely. America was built vulnerable, and thank goodness for that. The flow of people and things, the movement to and within cities, the congregation of the masses that makes our lives meaningful, whether at church or at Fenway Park, are inherently risky.
.

Our system a federal government with limited powers, mayors overseeing police departments, governors directing National Guards wasn't designed to produce a seamless shield against every conceivable threat. Every day, more than 2 million passengers board planes at U.S. airports. The movement of goods and services - the expectation that everything from airline tickets to groceries can be purchased with just a few mouse clicks - is our lifeline. We've traded a measure of safety for convenience. And in our America, there are sometimes monsters under the bed.
.

In the immediate years after 9/11, the security establishment sold a vision of an America that never existed, a vision based on some notion that the country had been invulnerable and risk-free before the terrorists struck. The shock of such a massive attack on civilians in the homeland caused much of the public to experience collective amnesia, as if our nation had never before navigated perils, including ones much more dangerous than al-Qaida.
.

Threats constantly change, yet our political discourse suggests that our vulnerabilities are simply for lack of resources, commitment or competence. Sometimes, that is true. But mostly we are vulnerable because we choose to be; because we've accepted, at least implicitly, that some risk is tolerable. A state that could stop every suicide bomber wouldn't be a free or, let's face it, fun one.
.

We will simply never get to maximum defensive posture. Regardless of political affiliation, Americans wouldn't tolerate the delay or intrusion of a public mass-transit system that required bag checks and pat-downs. After the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing, many wondered how to make the race safe the next year. A heavier police presence helps, but the only truly safe way to host a marathon is to not have one at all. The risks we tolerate, then, are not necessarily bad bargains simply because an enemy can exploit them.
.

No matter what promises are made on the campaign trail, terrorism will never be vanquished. There is no ideology, no surveillance, no wall that will definitely stop some 24-year-old from becoming radicalized on the Web, gaining access to guns and shooting a soft target. When we don't admit this to ourselves, we often swing between the extremes of putting our heads in the sand or losing them entirely.
.

This is not to say we should throw up our hands and hope for the best; our sense of unease is real. Yes, gun-related deaths firearms are responsible for more than 30,000 American fatalities per year far outstrip any violence in our country associated with terrorism, and our chance of dying in a terrorist attack is 1 in 20 million, which is why President nObama says the Islamic State is not an existential threat. But it doesn't help much to criticize the nervous and anxious simply because terrorism makes them feel terrorized. If that 1 in 20 million is my child, it's an existential threat to me.
.

Yet we still live, often joyfully, in a world with gun violence. And drunk drivers. And disease. We implore government to allocate resources as best it can to minimize those risks. Once we move past our angst, this becomes the most rational way to approach terrorist violence.
.

Accepting these vulnerabilities means our safety can be measured and evaluated on three core premises: how well we minimize our risks, maximize our defenses and maintain our spirit. Minimizing risk includes actions as far-ranging as intelligence-gathering, the disruption of terrorist cells abroad by drone strikes or police sweeps, diplomatic efforts and criminal cases. It's reasonable to debate the relative weight we should put on each, but risk will remain as long as long as our enemies do.
.

Maximizing our defenses includes implementing visa and border controls, supporting first-responder training and equipment, and hardening soft targets to the extent practicable. A bunch of state police officers watching a crowded bridge can often look like security theater, but its intent is to display a layer of defense that could make an attack less likely.
.

If the attributes of our homeland security sound familiar risk-reducing, defense-building, spirit-maintaining, it is because we practice them every day at home. We lock doors, wear helmets and keep a fire extinguisher in the kitchen - but we don't shy from cooking on the stove. Stuff also happens in the homeland. We must demand much from our government to make us safer. But we must also accept that vulnerability isn't always failure.

Bugs Bunny Was Right…What a Maroon

As bugs bunny would say…mor-1.jpg?width=194

“What a maroon…”

The man who would be POTUS…the loon followed by blind, low-information voters…Donald J. Trump…is now bordering on displaying the collective intelligence of a sack of potatoes.

My apologies to spuds everywhere.

Given that whoever the next POTUS is, that person will be tasked with appointing at least one, if not several Supreme Court Justices and one would think…no…one would HOPE that whoever that is has, at the very least, an inkling of what the job of a Supreme Court Justice actually is.

Now we KNOW that Ted Cruz knows exactly what the duties of the SCOTUS are. After all, Cruz has argued several cases before the nation’s highest court and as a Constitutional expert, Cruz knows full well that the SCOTUS interprets the Constitution were our laws are concerned. It is the job of the SCOTUS to determine whether or not our laws meet Constitutional muster.

But moron Don?

Lobbies, American Jobs And ILLEGAL Immigration Policy Go Hand In Hand

An ole TPP friend had made the following reply:  "So now Gianormous Global Corporations are the lobbyists for foreign nations, forced to be so, much as American business is forced to be the Sheriff of Nottingham for the Federal Robbing Hoods."

My Reply:

And, as long as lobbies...which include the likes of Wall Street, George Soros, as well as "green" energy, etc, control the Chamber of Commerce, and the unions, which in turn control the elected officials and the candidates alike,  America WILL continue maintaining the very progressive "open border" policy which is very much a socio-economic National  Security problem.

My question is:  Is the global economy now as intwined and ingrained within the American culture / psyche as SocSec and Medicare is?  I say, not YET!  But,  the moment the US relinquished its WELL EARNED status as a WORLD leader of manufacturing...even bigger than even Germany was post WW1,  skilled trade labor began diminishing across the country as well.   And, what became the by-product of that?  The entitlement / welfare culture.

Has any of you  noticed that the "outspoken" Trump has diddly-squat to say about the chokehold that the lobbies I mentioned above, INCLUDING THE UNIONS, are as much to blame, if not moreso, than our tax policies?   Hmmm....

Bad Policing Before and After Brussels
Could the Brussels attack have been prevented if Belgian law enforcement realized sooner the extent of the Islamist threat? At least in hindsight, the signs were glaringly obvious, and though the realization would have come at the eleventh hour, it might have been enough to prevent three jihadists from wheeling bomb-laden bags into the Brussels airport. When Belgian authorities arrested suspected Paris attacker Salah Abdeslam, they ignored the weapons and detonators investigators discovered in the safe house where they found Abdeslam's fingerprints. They read him their version of the Miranda rights, waited for him to recover a bit from surgery, and never asked Abdeslam for details about a forthcoming attack.
"Abdeslam's questioning is a textbook example of why the law enforcement model for interrogating terrorists is a disaster," wrote Marc Thiessen, a counterterrorism research fellow at the American Enterprise Institute. "As we saw in Brussels, law enforcement officials are in no hurry to extract answers from a detainee, because they are questioning terrorists  after an attack has occurred. Their goal is to extract a confession in order to secure a conviction. In such circumstances, patience is a virtue."
For years, Belgian law enforcement lived in an alternate reality. It placed politically correct policing above national security. That allowed the festering of neighborhoods of jihadist sympathizers that helped shelter the Paris and Belgium attackers. The assumption was that the Islamic State didn't have a network established in the country, and that Abdeslam was an anomaly from a threat still beheading people in the Syrian desert hundreds of miles away.
But as The New York Times makes painfully clear, the Islamic State was miles ahead of the Belgian police. Even before the group declared itself a caliphate, the Islamic State was sending jihadists to Europe with general directions and deadlines for small-scale attacks so that the network was obscured. Predictably, "enlightened" European leaders dismissed those attacks as isolated incidents perpetrated by mentally unstable lone wolves. Islam is the Religion of Peace™, after all. But the Islamic State was probing — hitting singles instead of swinging for the jihadist version of a homerun. Who knows how many cells are still in Europe, or how many are in the United States, waiting, planning?  -The Patriot Post

nObama Preparing to Placate Iran. Again
A new report in The Washington Free Beacon suggests that pretty soon we could be adding another broken promise to the nObama legacy: "Leading foreign policy voices in Congress say they are preparing to fight against an nObama administration effort to provide Iran unprecedented access to U.S. financial resources as part of an expanded package meant to address new demands from the Islamic Republic's for greater economic concessions. ... The nObama administration is currently exploring new options to grant Iran more sanctions relief than promised under the comprehensive nuclear agreement reached last year, just days after Iran's Supreme Leader gave a speech accusing the United States of interfering with Iranian banking."
As Mark Dubowitz and Jonathan Schanzer note in The Wall Street Journal, "[T]he nObama administration vowed that the Islamic Republic would never get the ultimate prize: access to the U.S. financial system or dollar transactions. Treasury Secretary Jacob Lew was adamant during a congressional grilling last July. 'Iranian banks will not be able to clear U.S. dollars through New York,' he told the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, or 'hold correspondent account relationships with U.S. financial institutions, or enter into financing arrangements with U.S. banks.' Yet as Rep. Ed Royce (R., Calif.) noted in a March 22 letter to the White House, Mr. Lew, during a Financial Services Committee hearing earlier that day, 'appeared to leave the door open' to Iran getting access to the U.S. financial system."
Remember, Iran already received a $100-150 billion windfall when sanctions were lifted, all of which apparently has already been spent. (Can't imagine on what.) Rep. Mike Pompeo quips, "As if a windfall of over $100 billion in sanctions relief was too small, and the massive cash influx into Iran from new business deals too paltry, President nObama appears to be looking for ways to make further concessions to Iran. This would be comical if it wasn't so dangerous." In his final year, the only thing nObama's asking is: What's one more broken promise? The sum of all lies is growing by the day.  -The Patriot Post

 Is NATO Obsolete?
"NATO is costing us a fortune, and yes, we're protecting Europe with NATO, but we're spending a lot of money," said Donald slump-Trump last week. "I think NATO as a concept is good, but it's not as good as it was when it first evolved." He stood by the assessment this week — indeed, he went even further, calling NATO "obsolete" as well as "disproportionately" and "extremely" expensive for the U.S. "We should readjust NATO," he said. "And it's going to have to be either readjusted to take care of terrorism, or we're going to have to set up a new coalition, a new group of the countries to handle terrorism, because terrorism is out of control."
slump-Trump may be relying on a national security team of one, so maybe he doesn't realize NATO spent a decade fighting terrorism with the U.S. in Afghanistan. But that doesn't mean he's totally off the reservation. Dwight Eisenhower, who became supreme commander of NATO in 1951, once said, "If in 10 years, all American troops stationed in Europe for national defense purposes have not been returned to the United States, then this whole project [NATO] will have failed." And an even greater American general-turned-president, George Washington, warned in his Farewell Address, "It is our true policy to steer clear of permanent alliance with any portion of the foreign world."
In other words, as with immigration, trade and other issues, the concerns slump-Trump raises are not unfounded. But his prescription depends on what he means by "readjusted." In another interview, slump-Trump gave some indication: "We are getting ripped off by every other country in NATO. They pay almost nothing." It's certainly fair to call on other NATO countries to carry their weight with defense. Far too many simply rely on the U.S. to do all the heavy lifting — besides the U.S., only Great Britain, Estonia, Greece and Poland spend more than 2% of GDP on defense, while 23 other NATO nations do not. But it's also an exaggeration to say other nations — again, our allies — do nothing. Barack nObama has spent the last seven-plus years generally insulting our allies. Is it wise to pass the reins to someone seemingly so ready to continue that tradition? National security is a primary responsibility of a commander in chief. Half-right gut instincts aren't going to cut it.   -The Patriot Post

Administration has "No Intention of Deporting"
Most Illegal Border Crossers
.
{fairus.org} ~ The head of the National Border Patrol Council, the union representing Border Patrol agents, is claiming that the nObama administration has instructed them not to enforce immigration laws... Brandon Judd, the union's president, asserted that he and other border patrol agents were told to release illegal aliens caught at the border since the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) had "no intention" of deporting them. (See Judiciary Committee Press Release, Mar. 21, 2016). Mr. Judd's alarming accusation came in written responses to questions submitted for the record following a House Judiciary Immigration and Border Security Subcommittee hearing. Specifically, Judd describes his concerns when told to release illegal aliens without issuing a Notice to Appear (NTA) in court which would initiate the deportation proceedings — a policy known as "catch and release." He took those issues to Deputy Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas who responded, "Why would we issue an NTA those we have no intention of deporting? "We should not place someone in deportation proceedings, when the courts already have a 3-6 year back log." (Id.) Judd previously told the Committee that the catch and release policy was prompted by the "embarrassment" that illegal aliens with NTAs were skipping their court dates. (Washington Examiner, Feb. 4, 2016) When the administration had issued NTA's, 80-90 percent of the illegal aliens failed to show up for their hearing and disappeared into the interior of the country. {frontpagemag.com} ~ Hansen has made a substantive contribution to our understanding of Egyptian society by focusing on relations between Christians and Muslims... His discussions on a number of topics are insightful: the patron-client relationship between the two groups, the complex identities existing within the continuum between Muslim and Christian—from those on the extremes who see themselves exclusively as Muslim or Christian to those in the middle who see themselves as Egyptians—and Egyptian society’s worsening post-revolutionary polarization along Islamist, secular, and Christian lines. The book is not for the lay reader; its first 50 pages closely examine a number of socio-political and psychological theories. These are then regularly invoked as paradigms for understanding. This abstract approach may be excused as the author asserts that “this book is addressed to Western academia.” Accordingly, drawbacks are the type one expects from Western academics. Although Hansen notes the Christians’ marginalized position, in what seems a strained effort to appear “objective,” he also portrays Christians as equally clannish and  mistrusting—“segregation comes from Muslims and Christians alike”—as if such paranoia is unwarranted.  Hints that the Copts brought it on themselves by supporting the anti-Muslim Brotherhood revolution occur...    http://www.frontpagemag.com/fpm/262315/sociopolitical-theory-not-islam-explains-muslim-raymond-ibrahim

{gopusa.com} ~ Conservatives and other nObama critics are entitled to a big “I told you so,” after nObama’s stunning admission that he doesn’t believe there’s that much difference between communism and capitalism... Actually, it’s not that stunning to people paying attention. Many of us warned about nObama’s Marxist sympathies before he was first elected president, and we’ve repeatedly pointed it out during his presidency. nObama was raised and mentored by communists and spent many years engaged in community organizing radical leftist activism. He established himself as the most liberal member of the Senate. Yet our warnings were met with cries of extremism, irrationality and, of course, racism. I wonder what these scolds would say now. After playing his fiddle in Cuba and paying homage to the romanticized Marxist Castro regime while Belgium was burning, nObama spoke to a group of young people in Argentina. He told them, essentially, that there isn’t much difference between capitalism and socialism and that they “should be practical.” He said: “You don’t have to worry about whether it neatly fits into socialist theory or capitalist theory. You should just decide what works.”...        http://www.gopusa.com/?p=7863?omhide=true

His conclusion: Both radical Islam and liberal elites seek the destruction of conservatism because it poses an existential threat to their power. “It makes no sense why anybody would passively sit by and let this happen,” the conservative icon said about attempts to create a worldwide Islamic caliphate. “It’s been my question about liberalism for as long as I’ve been alive, and the answers are scary. They’re either really stupid and naive and can’t see what is right in front of their faces, or they share the belief that the United States is an immoral, unjust place and has been from the beginning and deserves this kind of overthrow, redefinition, transformation, whatever you want to call it. {patriotupdate.com} ~ Muslim parents in Dearborn, Michigan are distressed over a ridiculous ordeal after elementary school students received flyers promoting an Easter Egg hunt at a local Presbyterian church... The parents say the egg hunt “violates the U.S. Constitution”. No, sir, there is no law in the constitution excluding the free exercise of religion. ‘Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof’…is there a state religion, or does this flyer stop you from handing out your own secular or Muslim flyer? No. Is the free exercise of a religion being performed here? No, because it wasn’t a religious event…I have never read anything in the Bible about finding chocolate eggs. But even if it was religious, they had a right…until you stomped on it. Separation of Church and State is NOT in the constitution. You want to do a secular or Muslim event, you are free to do so. {rickwells.us} ~ In a speech at the Harvard John F. Kennedy Jr Forum published on March 22nd, DHS Secretary Jeh Johnson addressed the issue of immigration and the open borders that he claims don’t exist... Johnson is infamous for his failure to enforce immigration law, the distortion of the definition of a refugee in order to open a path to the American shadows for all comers, releasing convicted illegals repeatedly back into American society and going so far as to threaten CBP agents with termination should they dare violate his dictates by enforcing American immigration laws being just a few of his numerous offenses. He sounds apologetic as he almost reluctantly admits that there is a border security element to immigration policy and that there has to because we don’t have open borders. He could also make that same  statement, with a slight modification, that there has to be the appearance of border security, so that nobody realizes that we do, in fact, have open borders. Many would argue that would be a closer representation of the reality under his disastrous tenure. In prefacing one of his many excuses for why he isn’t doing his job, Johnson says, “Central America is filled with poverty and violence right now,” inferring that they’re going to come no matter what and our border patrol is no match for the Central American civilians and children. He continues, “We all know about the kids, the families who have left Central America to come here.” Those are the ones he has declared to be pseudo-Americans in a bastardized interpretation of the historic international definition of a refugee...     http://rickwells.us/archives/27851

{aim.org} ~ Hilly Clinton’s email scandal keeps on growing, with new revelations that offer more justification for an indictment... Yet the mainstream media have long maintained that Mrs. Clinton is not the target of the two ongoing FBI investigations, and they seem very uninterested in the latest evidence to be revealed. However, a grand jury may be forthcoming. “My sources tell me that the Justice Department is close to empaneling a grand jury and deciding whether to grant statutory immunity to Huma Abedin, Hilly’s closest adviser,” writes Ed Klein for NewsMax. Klein is a former foreign editor of Newsweek, and was editor-in-chief of The New York Times Magazine from 1977 to 1987. “That things have gotten this far in the investigation indicates that FBI director James Comey is moving inexorably toward recommending to Attorney General Loretta Lynch that Hilly be indicted,” added Klein. Find Out The TRUTH About The

{constitution.com} ~ It is funny how people want it to be true. Not that they disagree with Cruz, or wish ill for him... No, the problem is for some reason we get joy out of seeing the mighty fall. Maybe it is because of jealousy. Perhaps, we want to feel that these people are human and have failings like us. But many fail to ask where is the evidence? The Washington Standard has been a voice of reason. So, until there is verifiable evidence of adultery on the part of Ted Cruz, this issue should be considered a non-issue. Though I don’t support either Ted Cruz or Donald slump-Trump in fact, I don’t trust either of them, the fact of the matter is that we know Donald slump-Trump has engaged in multiple adulteries and fornications in the past. Should evidence come forward that the allegations are true, it will only be another reason why I don’t support Mr. Cruz in the race for the White House. However, let’s give the man the benefit of the doubt since all there have been is allegations, not evidence. I’ll be the first to call him out should I get evidence. Now, there seems to be some insight concerning the Enquirer and their tactics. Though they have been on target with many such scandals, they have also played things a little loose...        http://constitution.com/whats-truth-cruz/

{jewishworldreview.com} ~ This past week, on both ends of the country, the BDS (boycott, divest, sanction) movement against Israel received a stern rebuke.
.

Several states around the country are passing laws that would bar their governments from doing business with companies that comply with boycotts of Israel. But in New York and California, the current debate is not about implementation of this economic war against the Jewish state but rather the way college campuses — including state-run universities like the University of California or the City University of New York or CUNY — have allowed the debate about Israel to turn into acquiescence for open expressions of anti-Semitism.
.

In New York, the legislature has cut funding for CUNY, though BDS was not the sole motivation. But in California, the regents of the state university system voted last Thursday to take a stand against what they termed “anti-Semitism, anti-Semitic forms of anti-Zionism, and other forms of discrimination.”
.

The measure was long overdue but pro-Palestinian and other leftist groups are blasting it as an attempt to stifle freedom of expression. They claim this simple sentence will make it impossible to criticize Israel and its policies. They are wrong about that. Israel is a democracy and, just like Israelis, those on campus can opine all they want about its government and all it does.
.

But what is at stake here is whether those whose purpose is to destroy the one Jewish state on the planet can pose as advocates for human rights while in engaging in hate speech against Jews.
.

In an era where the preservation of “safe space” for students against anything they might find objectionable, including subtle slights labeled “micro-aggressions,” political advocacy, or actual hate speech, there is one group that hasn’t gotten much protection: Jews. The reason for this isn’t much of a mystery.
.

In the context of academia, Jews are treated as the 21st century moral equivalent of WASPS and are therefore too secure and/or powerful to merit any concern for their rights, let alone their sensibilities.
.

To some extent, such complacency is justified. Unlike in Europe or most other parts of the world, the rising global tide of anti-Semitism hasn’t made much of an impact in the United States. American exceptionalism and the lack of a history of state-sanctioned anti-Semitism in this country has left Jews free to rise on their own merits finding acceptance in virtually every sphere of American society.
.

Jew hatred has largely been confined to the fever swamps of the far right and left. But there is one glaring exception to this rule: college campuses.
.

Anti-Semitism in academia has become an issue because the BDS movement against Israel has made it one. The efforts of pro-Palestinian students to delegitimize Israel have effortlessly slipped into a campaign to stigmatize and intimidate Jewish students and organizations. As the numbers of incidents of hate speech and intimidation grow, some Jewish groups and other fair-minded people are pushing back.
.

Groups like the AMCHA initiative and the Zionist Organization of America have documented many of the anti-Semitic incidents and cases of incitement against Jews associated with anti-Israel agitation. Jews have been subjected to every kind of insult and threat by those whose goal it is to wipe out Israel, often by promoting egregious lies about atrocity stories.
.

But we don’t really have to dig too deep into the files of incidents because we already know why it is so easy for BDS and pro-Palestinian advocates to slip into overt anti-Semitism. That is because, contrary to the University of California statement that was hoping to mollify some of the Israel-haters, there is no such thing as an anti-Semitic form of anti-Zionism.
.

All forms of anti-Zionism are anti-Semitic, no matter the identity of the speaker because to single out the one Jewish state and to deny its people the right to self-determination and self-defense in their ancient homeland is, in principle, anti-Semitic. Put simply, denying Jews these rights that no one would think of challenging for any other people, is an act of bias. Acts of bias against Jews are called anti-Semitic.
.

That’s why the line that supposedly separates traditional Jew-hatred from the cause of destroying Israel is so frequently breached by its advocates. They can’t help speaking this way because their goal is to deny Jews their human rights.
.

In order to justify this indefensible cause, they don’t merely resort to lies about Israel or ignore the fact that the Palestinians have been waging a century-long war to destroy the Jewish presence in the country and not merely to force it back to the 1967 lines. Like the Palestinian Authority and Hamas, which broadcast hate about Jews and praise for anyone that tries to murder a Jew, BDS supporters need to demonize the object of their criticism. And to do that, they inevitably use hate speech designed to marginalize and silence Jews.
.

Some BDS advocates assert that they just want Israel to end the “occupation” of the West Bank. But while one can support that cause, it is disingenuous to claim that supporting a cause whose purpose is to wipe out Israel even within the 1967 lines — as the Palestinians clearly wish to do — is merely a limited protest. BDS is not advocacy for a two-state solution. It is part of an effort to create a one-state solution in which Israel is eliminated. Anyone, including far-left Jews such as those in the anti-Zionist Jewish Voices for Peace group that claims otherwise, are either dupes or liars.
.

One may criticize Israel just as one may criticize the policies of the U.S. government. But those whose purpose is not merely to change Israel’s policies but to eliminate Zionism are targeting Jews. Just as one may study and discuss other forms of racism on college campuses, one may do the same about both Zionism and anti-Zionism.
.

But just as universities would take a dim view of groups that advocate racism like the Ku Klux Klan using their campuses as a platform for hate, so, too, should they think the same way about anti-Semitic groups. The same lesson applies to BDS groups whose cause is inextricably linked to Jew hatred.
.

Thankfully, the administration of some schools and the politicians that fund them are starting to recognize how serious this issue has become. As we’ve seen on campuses like Columbia, even liberal faculties are starting to wake up to the dangers of being silent as an anti-Semitic BDS movement gains ground. Those who excuse or even support acquiescence about this threat or that think it is wrong to urge Jewish students to stand up and confront the haters are making a mistake. When confronted with hate, there is no option but to fight back.

Ted Cruz Brussels Fox News

In response to the Islamic terrorist attack in Brussels, along with other commonsense solutions, Ted Cruz cited the success of the NYPD Muslim surveillance program.

Well, the mainstream media and Democrat talking heads went nuts, launching their usual shock-and-awe attack on anyone who refuses to bow their knee in worship to their god of political correctness.  The left called Cruz an idiot and a racist, demanding his head on a platter.

And yet Cruz has not wavered, not walked back his solutions or blinked in his resolve to protect Americans.  That's what I am talkin' about, folks.  Ted Cruz is a rock-solid, character-driven, backbone-of-steel conservative, sold out to defending and advocating for We the People.

The Islamic terrorist attack in Brussels happened in the middle of a highly contentious U.S. presidential campaign.  This is a time when candidates are typically extremely cautious about what comes out of their mouths, careful not to P.O. any group of voters.  Cruz's immediate instinct was to throw political correctness to the wind.  Cruz immediately came out with solutions rooted in the best interest of the American people that infuriated the left.  Again, that's what I am talkin' about, folks.

There is an old parable about a man who was trapped on his roof during a flood.  He prayed for God to reach down His hand and rescue him.  He drowned.  In Heaven, the man asked God why He did not answer his prayer.  God said, I did.  Before the water got too high, I sent a guy in a pickup truck.  Then I sent people in a rowboat.  Finally I sent a helicopter.  You rejected them.

Folks, since 2008, alongside millions of patriots, I have been fighting Obama and his leftist associates' implementation of their fundamental transformation of America.  Attending over 500 Tea Party rallies over the years, I have held patriots' hands and prayed for God to restore our great land.

We prayed for God to raise up strong conservative leaders who will keep their word when we send them to our nation's political Sodom and Gomorrah (Washington, D.C.).  Sen Ted Cruz is among a rare few we sent to Washington who has remained true-blue to We the People and our Constitution.  Cruz has paid a huge price for courageously standing up for We the People – hated by Democrats, the GOP establishment, and the mainstream media.

This is why, for the life of me, I cannot understand why anyone would not enthusiastically vote for Ted Cruz.

When those patriots get to Heaven, they will ask God: Why did you allow our Founding Fathers' inspired vision of America to fade away?  Why did you allow government to double down on forcing all Americans to embrace sodomy against their faith?  Why did you allow government to force taxpayers to fund the selling of dead baby heads for profit?

Patriots in heaven will say, You promised to bless those who bless Israel and curse those who do not.  Why did you allow government to betray our longtime ally, Israel?

God will say to those patriots, I answered your prayer, but you rejected it.  I sent you Ted Cruz.

 Bureaucrats Strip Vets' Gun Rights
Congressional lawmakers want answers. Senators Charles Grassley and Johnny Isakson sent a letter to the Secretary of the Department of Veterans Affairs asking why the agency reports any veteran who is assigned a fiduciary trustee to the FBI as mentally defective, thus stripping the veteran of their right to keep and bear arms. So far, the VA has reported to the FBI 260,000 individuals — equivalent to a quarter of the number of people in Texas who have a license to carry. While all federal agencies are required to report "mentally defective" individuals to the FBI so they can be noted in the National Instant Criminal Background Check System, the VA refers an astounding 99.3% of such cases. All other agencies account for just 0.7%. With ruthless "efficiency" like that coming from the same bureaucracy guilty of the wait-time scandal, does anyone suspect abuse of the system?
In a statement, Grassley said, "Our military heroes risked their lives to protect and defend this country and all that we stand for, including our most basic constitutional rights. Now the very agency created to serve them is jeopardizing their Second Amendment rights through an erroneous reading of gun regulations. The VA's careless approach to our veterans' constitutional rights is disgraceful."
No one wants someone with serious mental health issues to become a danger to themselves or others because they had access to firearms. But before basic constitutional rights are denied, the question is what constitutes mental illness? And who decides?
A bureaucracy with no due process is most certainly not the answer. Yet the gun-grabbing nObama administration wants to institute a similar policy as the VA within the Social Security Administration. Our hope is that this new bureaucratic scheme won't survive the increased scrutiny that was established through the Supreme Court's Heller decision.  -The Patriot Post

Mickey Mouse and the Pole Vaulters
When priorities get out of whack and people lose sight of what really matters, military folks are fond of saying, "We're pole vaulting over mouse turds." While it significantly understates the severity of the consequences, the sentiment is appropriate for the nObama administration's approach to national defense.
The Beltway PC police are hyper-vigilant and will spare no effort or expense for even a perceived threat to one of its protected classes. To wit, the secretary of the Navy has directed that all job titles be rendered gender-neutral. Heaven forbid that one of the females we've so recently empowered by sending them to the front lines pause during her assault up the cliffs of the next Normandy to consider whether she's really up to it because her job description says "infantryman" instead of "infantry person."
Meanwhile, instead of going to the firing range to hone their marksmanship skills, Marines are sitting through classes to eradicate "unconscious bias" that might lead them to think less of their female counterparts. That's what passes for liberal logic. Despite "proven science" (and common sense) that indicates they are physiologically ill-suited, women will be forced into some of the most physically (and emotionally) demanding roles imaginable and declared equal warriors. But they're apparently simultaneously delicate flowers who need protection from unspoken biases of which the alleged bias-holders are not even aware.
The administration expends considerably more ink and energy misleading its own citizens and devaluing the service of its military members than figuring out how to defeat a grave threat festering around the world. Were the consequences not so sobering, it would be ironic and moderately amusing that a Mickey Mouse administration chooses to focus on its own byproducts rather than the real challenges our nation faces.   -The Patriot Post

 Islamists Continue to Target Christians
The true adherents to the Religion of Peace™ claimed responsibility for the suicide bombing that killed 72 and wounded 230 in a park in eastern Pakistan on Easter. The park was filled with Christian families celebrating the holiest day on the Christian calendar. The jihadist who belonged to Jamaat ul-Ahrar, a group that splintered from the Pakistani Taliban, deliberately detonated near women and children.
A spokesman for Jamaat ul-Ahrar said, "It was our people who attacked the Christians in Lahore, celebrating Easter. It's our message to the government that we will carry out such attacks again until sharia [Islamic law] is imposed in the country." As if families picnicking in a park celebrating life and hope were so abhorrent that they deserved horrific death. The Pakistani government vowed to stamp out not only the terrorist infrastructure, but the ideology. In response to the attack, it is hunting down the group that detonated the bomb. But that's coming from the nation that for years was a safe haven for Osama bin Laden.
"Mass-casualty terrorism has become an almost daily occurrence, and there's a danger that the world will become inured to it as a new normal,"  wrote The Wall Street Journal's editorial board. "That is dangerous. A terror group that targets women and children without remorse wouldn't hesitate to kill tens of thousands, even millions, if it can acquire the means." That's why a bombing a half-world away matters so much to us at home.   -The Patriot Post

{freebeacon.com} ~ Leading foreign policy voices in Congress say they are preparing to fight against an nObama administration effort to provide Iran unprecedented access to U.S. financial resources as part of an expanded package meant to address new demands from the Islamic Republic’s for greater economic concessions... according to several conversations between the Washington Free Beacon and top lawmakers. The nObama administration is currently exploring new options to grant Iran more sanctions relief than promised under the comprehensive nuclear agreement reached last year, just days after Iran’s Supreme Leader gave a speech accusing the United States of interfering with Iranian banking. Top foreign policy voices in Congress told the Free Beacon in recent days that they are exploring a range of responses if the nObama administration goes through with reported plans to grant Iran further concessions beyond the purview of the nuclear deal, which dismantled key nuclear-related U.S. sanctions against Iran. {freebeacon.com} ~ If Richard Nixon could have read Peter Navarro’s new book, Crouching Tiger: What China’s Militarism Means for the World, during his landmark visit to China in 1972... he probably would have been shocked by the work or dismissed it as fantastical. After all, China’s economy was still based largely on agriculture when Nixon was there and its military was in need of modernization. Navarro describes the China of today as a rising, increasingly aggressive state that is trying to challenge the United States for both economic and military supremacy. How could Nixon have guessed that, just over four decades after his trip, China would produce more national economic output than the United States, wield highly-sophisticated military capabilities, and pose the greatest strategic challenge to the U.S. in the twenty-first century?Nixon, of course, could not have guessed that such developments would take place, but the United States and the rest of the world now have to grapple with China’s great power status and growing belligerence toward other Asian countries. Crouching Tiger serves as a complete guide on how to think about the rise of China and its increasing aggression, and what both mean for the United States and world order. The central question that Navarro, a professor at the University of California-Irvine, seeks to answer in his book is whether China will soon go to war. This question stems from the apparent contradiction that the country is quickly and earnestly developing offensive military capabilities and strategic doctrine while claiming that it “seeks only a peaceful rise.” In essence,  Crouching Tiger is really asking if China and the United States specifically will go to war, although the book also examines the possibility of conflict with other countries in the Far East and Southeast Asia which, in most cases, would inevitably involve the United States anyway...    http://freebeacon.com/culture/thinking-about-the-unthinkable-in-the-far-east/?utm_source=Freedom+Mail&utm_campaign=d38aae3150-WFB_Morning_Beacon_03_28_163_27_2016&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_b5e6e0e9ea-d38aae3150-45611665

{restoreamericanglory.com} ~ Senate Republicans sent a letter to Department of Veterans Affairs chief Robert McDonald this week, demanding answers on how the VA has stripped more than 257,000 vets of their Second Amendment rights... According to administration rules, the VA must report any former military members with problems managing their finances to the FBI. Using this criteria, the FBI can then block those vets from owning or buying guns. “The National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) is effectively a national gun ban list and placement on the list precludes the ownership and possession of firearms,” wrote Senate Veterans Affairs Committee Chairman Johnny Isakson and Sen. Chuck Grassley. The senators say that this practice is “highly suspect,” and that the bar used to determine whether or not a veteran is financially competent is much lower than it should be to take away one of their fundamental constitutional rights... http://www.restoreamericanglory.com/freedoms/obama-confiscating-guns-from-veterans/

Syria’s President Bashar al-Assad meets with Kamal Kharrazi, head
of Iran’s Strategic Council on Foreign Relations, in Damascus
.
{aei.org} ~.Iran is developing a new way of waging war beyond its borders, using Syria as the laboratory...  Combat units drawn from the conventional brigades and divisions of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) have been fighting on the front lines alongside Syrian and Iraqi militias and Lebanese Hezbollah since October 2015. The units appear to be deploying as cadres — bringing most of their officers, some of their non-commissioned officers (NCOs), and only a small number of enlisted ranks — and plugging into Iraqi, Syrian, and Hezbollah militia groups that serve as their foot soldiers. Iranian officials have labored to conceal the extent of their involvement in the Syrian conflict, repeatedly insisting that they are only training, advising, and assisting Syrian forces. The announcements of Iranian casualties reported by Iranian media and social media tell another story. Careful analysis of the ranks and unit affiliations of Iranians reported as having been killed in Syria demonstrates that IRGC officers are leading soldiers in combat and not merely advising. Comparisons of the casualty data with the dates of major pro-regime operations in Syria make it possible to determine that most of these IRGC units were fighting in the major offensives around Aleppo between October 2015 and February 2016 facilitated by the start of Russian air operations...        http://www.aei.org/publication/irans-evolving-way-of-war-how-the-irgc-fights-in-syria/?utm_source=paramount&utm_medium=email&utm_content=AEITODAY&utm_campaign=032816

{dailysignal.com} ~ Some politicians and environmental activists have been quick to call for blanket bans on hydraulic fracturing under claims that the process is poisoning America’s drinking water... Scientific evidence, from both government agencies and independent analyses, proves otherwise. For instance, The Environmental Protection Agency’s last study, released in June of 2015 and the most comprehensive government study on fracking’s impact so far, clearly states that “we did not find evidence … of widespread, systemic impacts on drinking water resources in the United States.” The EPA’s analysis is hardly the first study to refute the oft-repeated myth that fracking poses a serious threat to American drinking water. In 2009, the Department of Energy conducted a report that declared fracking “safe and effective.” In 2014, the Department of Energy released another study of the Marcellus Shale that found no evidence of fracking contaminating water supplies. This administration is trying so hard to close all development of oil on American soil. http://dailysignal.com/2016/03/21/calls-for-fracking-bans-ignore-sound-science/?utm_source=heritagefoundation&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=morningbell&mkt_tok=3RkMMJWWfF9wsRonu6rBdu%2FhmjTEU5z16uwlXaS1iokz2EFye%2BLIHETpodcMTcRgPLDYDBceEJhqyQJxPr3NLtQN191pRhLiDA%3D%3D

{dailycaller.com} ~ Two reports out Sunday provide new details about the FBI’s investigation of Hilly Clinton, including that 147 FBI agents have been involved in the probe... and that federal prosecutors are expected to soon seek an interview with the presidential candidate. According to The Los Angeles Times, prosecutors have contacted the attorneys for the top Clinton State Department aides who sent and received classified information that landed on the former secretary of state’s private email server. The FBI seized that device in August, after the intelligence community’s inspector general determined that some of the emails sent to Clinton contained “Top Secret” information...

{aim.org} ~ Let’s face reality: There was absolutely no justification for removing Cuba from the list of states that sponsor terrorism. Our intelligence clearly shows that Cuba was allowing and continues to allow Hezbollah, Iran’s terror proxy group, to maintain a command-and-control base on Cuban soil from which to conduct criminal, narco-trafficking and terrorist operations throughout the Western hemisphere.
.
Regrettably, this leads to the sad conclusion that President nObama has lied again when he certified to Congress, as required by federal law, that Cuba could be safely removed from the U.S. list of nations that sponsor terrorism. Does anybody care that our president lied again over a matter that affects our national security? Where is the outcry from our congressional leadership over this travesty?
.
However, there may be something more insidious going on. Mr. nObama had promised to close the U.S. Naval Detention Facility in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba (Gitmo) when he took office in 2009. This was based on the false premise that by keeping Gitmo open to hold the world’s most dangerous terrorists, it was being used by al Qaeda and other terrorists groups as a major recruitment tool. The attacks of Sept. 11, 2001 and prior acts of terrorism certainly did not occur because of this detention facility at Gitmo — it didn’t exist at the time. Rather, we must understand that those acts and subsequent atrocious acts of Islamic terrorism are justified and commanded by the Koran and Shariah law.
.
Nonetheless, Mr. nObama, has for seven years prevented captured terrorists from being sent to Gitmo. Under the nObama administration’s current policy, terrorists captured on the battlefields of Afghanistan are now being transferred to foreign custody or just released so they can return to kill more U.S. forces. This makes absolutely no sense. What is even more disturbing is that Mr. nObama’s policy of killing potentially high-value enemy leaders with drone strikes instead of capturing has deprived the United States of much sensitive intelligence that possibly would have been critical for national security during the past seven years. To the average American, this may sound like a good tactic. In the Islamic jihadi mind, however, Mr. nObama is deliberately making them highly respected “martyrs” by dying fighting for Allah. This is no mistake, and is understood by all jihadis.
.
A recent article by retired U.S. Navy Capt. Joe John, chairman of Combat Veterans for Congress, addressed Rep. Duncan D. Hunter’s Jan. 28 letter to Defense Secretary Ashton Carter. This letter expressed his opposition to the transfer of the most dangerous al Qaeda terrorists imprisoned at Gitmo to foreign countries and to prisons in the continental United States. Such a reckless program ignores the fact that at least 30 percent of released terrorists from Gitmo have returned to the battlefield to kill more U.S. forces. There is more than just a passing concern, however, that it may be Mr. nObama’s ultimate objective to turn over the entire U.S. facility at Gitmo to Raul Castro’s Communist Cuba. This would be a travesty of the worst order since it would be only be a matter of time before Hezbollah took over Gitmo as its main terrorist training site in the Western Hemisphere.
.
Fortunately, the Joint Chiefs of Staff informed Congress that federal law prevents the U.S. armed forces from transferring al Qaeda and Taliban terrorist detainees from Gitmo to the United States. They must continue to take a strong position on this issue.
.
Separately, Capt. John addressed the debilitating impact of Mr. nObama’s restricted rules of engagement forced on our combat forces. The net result has been an increase in our combat fatalities by 400 percent per year and wounded by 378 percent per year. From 2001 to 2008, combat fatalities averaged 90 per year operating under standard rules of engagement for a total of 630 U.S. military lost during almost eight years. Between 2009 and 2013, the number of combat fatalities jumped to 458 per year for a total loss of 2,292 personnel using Mr. nObama’s restricted rules of engagement. This is unconscionable. A commander’s first priority must always be the safety and protection of the forces under his command.
.
The restricted rules of engagement had the net effect of neutralizing our superior military capability while bolstering the stature and capabilities of the terrorists. Of course, the worst combat tragedy occurred during the “Extortion 17” mission in Afghanistan. The denial of legitimate suppression fire from an on-station C-130 gunship in a “hot-fire” landing zone that had been under fire for more than three hours was denied for fear of civilian casualties.
.
As a result, we suffered the largest loss of U.S. military forces in the 13-year war in Afghanistan. Forty-eight military personnel lost their lives. Those killed included 16 members of SEAL Team 6 largest loss in their history, 20 special ops warriors, five helicopter crew members and seven Afghan military allies. Aside from the denial of suppression fire by our combat leaders, there was also a clear dereliction of duty in ordering that many SEALs and special ops warriors into a vulnerable CH-46 transportation helicopter instead of using a highly maneuverable, special warfare MH-47 helo. The sad fact is the mission turned out to be unnecessary.
.
There must be an accounting not only for our congressional leadership but for our senior military leadership, the Joint Chiefs of Staff, for their failure to live up to their oath of office which has done untold damage to this great country. They must be held accountable as a lesson to future congressional and military leaders.

The Epic Meltdown Continues

By Craig Andresen Right Side Patriots http://www.americanpbn.com/

The epic meltdown continues.ness-1.jpg?width=141

It used to be that we had to wait for a debate to watch Donald Trump meltdown but now that the debates are over, we are being treated to a daily meltdown by his Trumpness and it shows no signs of letting up anytime soon.

News broke over the weekend that Ted Cruz, it seems, has secured more delegates in Louisiana, despite having finished second there, and due to Cruz’s ability to woo and win over unpledged delegates along with his ability to corral five of the top six delegates regarding Louisiana’s convention rules committee.

When his Trumpness became aware of this fact, on Easter Sunday, he tweeted his mixture of astonishment and anger and threatened a lawsuit over it.

It’s a lawsuit, should he even file it, that he will lose because there is nothing whatsoever illegal about it. It is simply a chess game and Cruz is better at it than is Trump. No changes were made to any rules and Cruz did nothing more than do what any candidate, including Trump should have done. He stayed engaged with the delegates, made his case on policy and substance and won those delegates over.

The same situation is happening in Georgia and now we learn it is happening also in Virginia because, unlike the narcissistic Trump, who thinks it all about him, Cruz knows it’s all about the delegates themselves and Cruz has taken the proper steps to make his case, post primary, while Trump has simply walked away, believing he had those delegates in the bag.

There is also another reason for Trump losing these delegates…
