 THREAT MATRIX…
“When Secretary of State Hanoi John Kerry decided to try to put the threat from ISIS into perspective in congressional testimony, he raised some eyebrows in the intelligence community. Hanoi Kerry told lawmakers, ‘Our citizens, our world today, is actually, despite ISIL, despite the visible killings that you see and how horrific they are, we are actually living in a period of less daily threat to Americans and to people in the world than normally; less deaths, less violent deaths today, than through the last century.’
That prompted a quick response from lawmakers and from inside the intelligence community. Retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, former head of the Defense Intelligence Agency under President nObama told Fox News, ‘Secretary Hanoi Kerry is out of touch with reality, he clearly is not listening to the entire U.S. intelligence community, he is not reading any of the intelligence or other things that have been written over the last few weeks, months, years. …[ F]or him to make those statements is totally irresponsible and he should be challenged by anyone who cares about the future of this country.’ Hanoi Kerry’s comments appear to be part of a pattern. The president, for example, recently told
Vox that he believed the media was hyping the threat from terrorists.
But we have a reminder today about the relentless enemy we face. It was on this day 22 years ago that terrorists detonated a truck bomb in the North Tower of the World Trade Center in New York.  It killed six Americans and injuring hundreds more, but it didn't have the intended effect of bringing down the tower. Eight years later, though, the terrorists would not only accomplish that goal, but bring down both towers in the most audacious attack on U.S. soil since Pearl Harbor.
The administration’s assurances would be comforting if true. But the people we talk to in and around the intelligence community – the people who actually analyze the data – see things very differently. They see a threat matrix exponentially more deadly than it was 22 years ago today.” – Bret Baier-Fox News

The Judge’s Ruling -   Citing challenges to the protection against unreasonable search and seizure provided by the Constitution’s Fourth Amendment, Fox News Senior Judicial Analyst Judge Andrew Napolitano ponders the notion of a government fearful of freedom: “What if invading our freedoms keeps us less safe? What if the president has failed to keep our freedoms safe? What if the government doesn’t like freedoms? What if the government is afraid we will exercise them?”  -Fox News

nOBAMA VOWS ‘AGGRESSIVE’ RESPONSE ON COURT DEFEAT   FOR AMNESTY: ‘THIS   IS JUST ONE JUDGE’
The Hill: “Participating in a town hall-style immigration forum in Miami, [President nObama] said a recent ruling against his new immigration policies by a federal judge in Texas was wrongly decided and promised to use all his legal options to ensure the new programs are ultimately adopted. ‘This is just one federal judge. We have appealed it very aggressively. We’re going to be as aggressive as we can,’ nObama said during the event at Florida International University, hosted by MSNBC and Telemundo, the Spanish-language media giant. ‘I’m using all of the legal power vested in me in order to solve this problem.’”  -Fox News

Denied using immigration for a political advantage -   Rejecting accusations that he failed to push through immigration reform when Democrats controlled Congress, President nObama blamed Republicans, then and now, and seemed a perturbed when asked if both parties are playing “political ping pong” with immigration. “That’s just not true,” nObama said. “Democrats have consistently stood on the side of comprehensive immigration reform.” “You do a disservice when you suggest that, Ah, nobody was focused on this," the president added. “Because then you don't know who's fighting for you and who's fighting against you.”   -Fox News

Homeland funding fight will return to House -   WaPo: “The Senate voted Wednesday to move ahead with a bill to fund the Department of Homeland Security after Democratic leaders dropped an earlier pledge to block it unless they get assurances from House Republican leaders that it would pass their chamber. The bill advanced on a procedural vote by a 98-2 margin. The only dissenters were Republican Sens. James Inhofe (Okla.) and Jeff Sessions (Ala.) Final passage could come before Friday when current funding will run out at DHS. ‘We're going to do everything we can to make sure it passes by an overwhelming vote,’ Senate Minority Leader dinky Harry M. Reid (D-Nev.) told reporters. He said he looked forward to working with Republicans "in the next 24 hours" to get this done.  Even if the bill clears the Senate, it's unclear how the House will respond.”  -Fox News

REID AGREES TO MEET WITH BIBI
The Hill: “Senate leaders from both parties will meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during his visit to Washington, D.C., next week. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McCon-nell (R-Ky.) and Minority Leader dinky Harry Reid (D-Nev.) will meet with Netanyahu on Tuesday afternoon, after his address to a joint session of Congress on the Iranian nuclear threat. On Wednesday, Netanyahu declined an invitation to meet only with Senate Democrats, fearing it would ‘compound the misperception of partisanship’ surrounding his visit. The bipartisan invite comes amid rising tension between the nObama administration and Netanyahu.”

Megyn Kelly Played This Video from George W. Bush
(Matthew Burke) - On FOX News’ The Kelly File  on Thursday, host Megyn Kelly played an eerily prophetic, timely, and applicable video from George W. Bush in 2007 warning about the consequences of pulling out of Iraq too early (WATCH VIDEO BELOW)...Bush was roundly criticized for the comments at the time, but considering the horrific events in the Middle East excalating while nObama works on lowering his golf handicap, Bush’s words have even deeper impact.        http://www.tpnn.com/2014/09/05/megyn-kelly-played-this-video-from-george-w-bush-and-liberal-heads-are-exploding/

MAJOR U.S. Company Bows to Shariah Law
(tpnn.com) - The United Stated is in a moment of crisis. While we have a longstanding history of religious tolerance and allowing for the free and open worship of all faiths, it would be less-than-truthful to claim that the United States is not engulfed in a cultural war surrounding religion...As the nObama Administration cracks-down on Christian institutions and principles while citing the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment as their supposed justification, the nObama Administration conspicuously coddles the religion of Islam in order to display a sort of tolerance to Muslims strictly denied to Christians.      http://www.tpnn.com/2014/11/01/major-u-s-company-bows-to-shariah-law/

Taliban Suicide Bomber Strikes NATO Diplomatic Convoy in Kabul
(Bill Roggio) - The Taliban suicide bomber rammed his car into the NATO convoy as it traveled in the Wazir Akbar Khan area, a neighborhood in the Afghan capital which hosts foreign embassies, a NATO base, and other sensitive installations...The attack took place “shortly after 8:00 am, not far from the Iranian embassy,” a senior Afghan interior ministry official told Ariana News. Resolute Support Mission in Afghanistan, NATO’s new command in the country, confirmed that one “service member died as a result of an attack in Kabul today.” But “the NATO Senior Civilian Representative,” who previously was Turkey’s ambassador to Afghanistan, “was not involved and is unharmed.”       http://defenddemocracy.org/media-hit/bill-roggio-taliban-suicide-bomber-strikes-nato-diplomatic-convoy-in-kabul/

Superfish Spying Scandal has Mired PC Maker Lenovo
Famous PC Maker Exposed in Shocking Scandal
(Greg Miller) - Another day… another appalling spying scandal. One that would even shock infamous whistleblowers, Julian Assange and Edward Snowden. But we’re not talking about the government skimming through a few emails or phone records, or snapping your photo with a surveillance camera and adding you to a database...This was an egregious act of corporate larceny perpetrated by one of the world’s biggest companies. Think of Lenovo (LNVGY), and you probably picture a company renowned for designing and manufacturing personal computers. And you’d be absolutely right. The Chinese firm is the biggest PC manufacturer in the world. But there’s a dark side to the company, too.       http://www.wallstreetdaily.com/2015/02/27/lenovo-superfish/

Fines Remain Rare Even As Health Data Breaches Multiply
(Charles Ornstein) - In a string of meetings and press releases, the federal government’s health watchdogs have delivered a stern message: They are cracking down on insurers, hospitals and doctors offices that don’t adequately protect the security and privacy of medical records... “We’ve now moved into an area of more assertive enforcement,” Leon Rodriguez, then-director of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Office for Civil Rights, warned at a privacy and security forum in December 2012. But as breaches of patient records proliferate – just this month, insurer Anthem revealed a hack that exposed information for nearly 80 million people – federal overseers have seldom penalized the health care organizations responsible for safeguarding this data, a ProPublica review shows.

Kurdish Fighters Seize Key Islamic State Stronghold in Syria
(voanews.com) - Kurdish fighters say they have "liberated" a northeastern Syrian town that has been a key stronghold of Islamic State militants...A spokesperson for the People's Protection Units, or YPG, confirmed to VOA that the Kurdish fighters had seized the city of Tal Hamis, in Hassakeh province. “This victory is a huge blow for IS terrorists because they orchestrated their attacks against Qamishli and other Kurdish cities in Syria and Sinjar region in Iraq from this city," he told VOA's Kurdish service. "In this operation a significant number of local Arab forces also helped them because people came to realize that there is no future under this terrorist organization."       http://www.voanews.com/content/kurdish-fighters-seize-key-islamic-state-stronghold/2661793.html

Empowering Jihad: The Deadly Myth of a 'Root Cause'
(Phyllis Chesler) - Reports that "Jihadi John," the British-accented narrator of ISIS snuff videos, is Mohammed Emwazi — an educated young man from a middle-class background — ought to put the final stake in the pretense that poverty and a lack of education and opportunity fuel Islamist hate. This mistaken idea seems to be nObama administration policy...Marie Harf, the US Department of State deputy spokesperson, recently said: "We cannot win this war by killing jihadists. We need to go after the root causes that lead people to join these groups, whether it is lack of opportunity for jobs. . . We can work with countries around the world to help improve their governance. We can help them build their economies so they can have job opportunities for these people." Of course, the news about "Jihadi John" is only the latest evidence to the contrary. These terrorists are often well educated and even wealthy. Osama bin Laden certainly was.       http://www.meforum.org/5059/jihad-root-cause-myth

In Plain Sight: A National Security “Smoking Gun”
(Terresa Monroe-Hamilton) - The first article of the Betrayal Papers asserted that the Muslim Brotherhood was not only influential in the United States government, but in fact dominated the administration of President Barack Hussein nObama...This article will name several key people who were or are in the nObama administration and who have various, documented associations with organizations which are directly tied to and/or funded by the Muslim Brotherhood and the State of Qatar (home to Brotherhood’s Spiritual Leader, Yusuf al-Qaradawi). These individuals have helped dictate national security policies that have crippled counterterrorism efforts at home and abroad.       http://www.trevorloudon.com/2015/02/betrayal-papers-part-2-in-plain-sight-a-national-security-smoking-gun/

Stopgap DHS funding bill fails in House
(foxnews.com) - A stopgap bill to keep money flowing to the Homeland Security Department past a midnight deadline failed in the House late Friday, in a surprise turn of events that again raises the possibility of a partial agency shutdown...The vote was 224-203 against the measure, as 52 Republicans defected and joined Democrats in opposing the leadership-backed legislation. The first group was upset because the legislation had been stripped of changes to President nObama's immigration policy, and the second because it lacked full-year funding for the sprawling department.       http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2015/02/27/congress-prepares-to-punt-amid-impasse-on-dhs-funding/

Islamist Terrorists Are In America, Mexico Partially Responsible
(rickwells.us) - Neil Cavuto references a sixty-eight page report which was just issued by the Texas Department of Public Safety which states that not only are illegal aliens with terrorist ties currently crossing into the United States unchecked, they have been doing so for quite a long time...Lt Col Tony Shaffer agrees with the report and notes that this is information known to the federal government as well.  He also notes that al-Shabaab, the terrorist organization that has threatened the Mall of America has conducted a similar operation in Kenya, adding credibility to their threats. Shaffer points out that FBI director James Comey has already stated that we are tracking about 200 suspected terrorists, with suspects in every state of the Union. He asks, “What about the 1,000 to 2,000 we’re not tracking who have come through the border?” He reiterates his point, “We know they’re coming through. We know we’re not detecting them.”       http://www.rickwells.us/islamist-terrorists-are-in-america-mexico-partially-responsible-is-military-action-against-mexico-part-of-the-solution/
There Will Always Be War
Alan Caruba
Islam%2B-%2Bmuslim%2BWarriors.jpg
(factsnotfantasy.blogspot.com) - We begin with the reality that the United States and many other nations are at war with militant Islamists. They are a growing army of religious zealots murdering Christians, Jews, others who are not Muslim, and even other Muslims.

In my youth America knew how to win wars. In Europe it bombed Germany into submission, leading its allies in an invasion that left Germany divided for decades until the Soviet Union collapsed. In Asia Truman dropped two atomic bombs on Japan because they didn’t get the message when Hiroshima was destroyed on August 6, 1945. It took a second bomb on Nagasaki on August 9 to bring about Japan’s surrender.

Millions died in World War II but the alternative would have been the loss of freedom for millions worldwide.

If one spends any time learning history, the primary lesson is that war has been a constant factor from the beginning of what we call civilization about five thousand years ago.

The Bronze Age introduced new weapons that gave the residents of the Fertile Crescent in the Middle East a distinct advantage over invading nomadic people, but the invaders introduced chariots and it took the Egyptians and Babylonians a while to catch up. War has always been about new, more lethal weaponry.

Why would we be surprised to learn that the Assyrians who originated in what is now northern Iraq or the Islamic State (ISIS) were the most violent and bloodthirsty of the ancient world’s peoples? Known to all their neighbors by 1300 B.C.E., their army become a source of terror for the Middle East during the ninth century. They destroyed the Kingdom of Israel around 732 B.C.E., but the southern part of the Kingdom of Judah survived. In time the Babylonians would defeat the Assyrians.

Not all wars involved religion. The Greeks fought each other and then fought the Persians. Alexander the Great, a Macedonian, loved waging war and was very successful. The constant factor, however, was war and, of course, Rome would become the greatest empire of its time, beginning around 509 B.C.E., fighting three Punic wars with Carthage, but losing an estimated 400,000 in the first war and 150,000 in the second.

Eventually, Rome was so powerful it imposed a “Pax Romana” on the entire Mediterranean area it controlled. In time, Rome would be destroyed by the “barbarians”, Visigoths, Vandals, Ostrogoth’s, and Burgundians. By 476 C.E., the Roman Empire was history.

After establishing a group of followers in the Arabian Peninsula as the “last prophet”, proclaiming Islam as the one, true faith, Muhammad died in 632 C.E. Within ten years, the Arabs had conquered Jerusalem and were taking aim at Damascus and Cairo. Baghdad and the Libyan Desert were the next to be conquered. They moved on to Spain and Central Asia.

Cover%2B-%2BHandy%2BMilitary%2BHistory%2BAnswer%2BBook.jpg     During his lifetime, Ali, Mohammad’s son-in-law, was the leader of the Arab forces. As noted in Samuel Willard Crompton’s ‘The Handy Military History Answer Book’, by the time the Arabs fought the Byzantines and the Persians they had also initiated the great split that remains today between the Sunnis and the Shiites.” Shiite means “follower of Ali.” The Sunnis wanted to elect their own caliph.

After taking the southern half of Spain, the Muslim army was poised to take all of Europe, but their 732 C.E. defeat in the Battle of Tours put an end to further expansion. Their momentum in Asia was stopped in 751 C.E. with a defeat in the Battle of Talas. As Crompton notes, “in the century that followed the Prophet’s death, the Arabs took over ninety percent of all the urban centers in the Western world, and their conquests equaled those of ancient Rome.”

The Crusades

Which brings us to the first Crusade; it began when Pope Urban II in 1095 told a gathering of 10,000, mostly French and German knights, that a “new accursed group”, the Muslims, had taken control of the holy land were preventing pilgrims from visiting holy sites. The knights responded to his call to liberate Jerusalem by chanting “Deus Volt! Deus Volt!”—God wills it.

They were joined by a “Peasants Crusade” between 1095 and 1096. By June 1099 the knights arrived outside Jerusalem and what followed was a wholesale murder of everyone there. In 1185, Saladin, the emir of Cairo and Lord of Damascus, proclaimed a jihad—a holy war—against the Christians in the Kingdom of Jerusalem. The knights defending it were defeated.

A Second Crusade followed in 1147 C.E. but accomplished little and the Third Crusade had the same result. A Fourth Crusade resulted in the Europeans taking control of Constantinople in August 1204 C.E. They would rule it for the next fifty years. Years later, in 1489, a war drove the Muslims from Spain.

AA%2B-%2BIslamic%2BState%2BKill%2Bthem%2BAll.jpg
The spokeswoman from our Department of State who said that the present generation of Muslim holy warriors can’t all be killed doesn’t know that this is the way wars are won. You kill the enemy until the enemy decides that dying for their cause is not worth it.

If ISIS is insane enough to bring the war to our homeland (and even if it doesn’t), a war of total destruction will be the only way to end the present conflict. Currently, the Jordanians and the Egyptians are doing what they can to resist ISIS, but recent polls confirm that Americans are beginning to conclude that our active boots-on-the-ground participation is the only way this will end.

nObama is merely going through the motions of conducting a war against ISIS, but retired generals and diplomats have told Congress that only full-scale war will end the threat they represent.

Meanwhile, ISIS is committing genocide against the Christians of the Middle East while Boko Haram is doing the same in Africa. Hezbollah would do the same against Israel if it could. Given nuclear arms, Iran will assert control over all of the Muslim warriors, threatening both Israel and the U.S.

Our next President will have to commit to destroying ISIS. There is no alternative. That is history’s primary lesson.

SHOW TIME: CPAC KICKS OFF NEXT PHASE OF GOP CAMPAIGN
Every major player for the Republican presidential nomination knows where to be this week: the Conservative Political Action Conference in suburban Washington. It’s always a big deal, but CPAC takes on new significance this year as Republicans try to sort through a bumper crop of presidential contenders. And they will all, with the exception of Ohio Gov. John Kasich and former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, make the trip to Prince George’s County, Md. to audition for the party’s activist base. Think of it this way: There a two concurrent contests going on in the GOP. One is a fundraising drag race in the first eight months of the year. We’ll see the results as quarterly filing come in. But the other fight is for the hearts and minds of issue-driven activists – social, fiscal, libertarian, national security and even more niche concerns –who propel the party. We’ll know by Saturday who’s in the lead for that prize.

Schlapp-ed  The American Conservative Union, under the leadership of new Chairman Matt Schlapp has rebooted the event, which had in recent years come to cater to the party’s libertarian wing, in favor of the more broad-spectrum Reaganite conservatism that animated the organization at its outset. The response has been dramatic. Moderates (Jeb Bush), social conservatives (Rick Santorum), libertarian leaners (Rand Paul) and defense hawks (Marco Rubio) will all be making their case to attendees and competing in the event’s annual presidential straw poll. And rather than just canned speeches, candidates are consenting to be questioned by conservative opinion-makers like Laura Ingraham, who will be sautéing Gov. Chris Christie, R-N.J., today.   -Fox News

 CLINTON CASH VIOLATED ETHICS RULES
WaPo: “The Clinton Foundation accepted millions of dollars from seven foreign governments during Hilly Rodham Clinton’s tenure as secretary of state, including one donation that violated its ethics agreement with the nObama administration, foundation officials disclosed Wednesday. Most of the contributions were possible because of exceptions written into the foundation’s 2008 agreement, which included limits on foreign-government donations. The agreement, reached before Clinton’s nomination amid concerns that countries could use foundation donations to gain favor with a Clinton-led State Department, allowed governments that had previously donated money to continue making contributions at similar levels. The new disclosures, provided in response to questions from The Washington Post, make clear that the 2008 agreement did not prohibit foreign countries with interests before the U.S. government from giving money to the charity closely linked to the secretary of state.”
[Clinton’s fundraising flap has not hurt her with Iowa Democrats. Quinnipiac University’s first poll of potential Iowa Democratic caucus shows Clinton leads with 61 percent, followed by Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., at 19 percent, and Vice President loose lips Joe Biden at 7 percent. All other contenders were at 5 percent or below.]   -Fox News

#TBT -   The Atlantic looks at the Democratic candidates seeking to retake the Senate in 2016, including Ohio’s Ted Strickland, Wisconsin’s Russ Feingold, North Carolina’s Kay Hagan and Pennsylvania’s Joe Sestak, and what they have in common with their party’s presumptive presidential nominee. They’re all aging baby boomers who have lost before. “Clinton isn’t that old—she'll be 69 on Election Day 2016—but all this talk of age has some Democrats worried about the graying of the party’s pool of candidates, and the shallow bench of youngsters behind them. Many in the party are worried about the age of party leaders in Congress. But one of the clearest demonstrations of the age gap is in races for the U.S. Senate, where Democrats hope to recover control in 2016.”   -Fox News

More Smoking Guns Confirm Benghazi Cover-up
(Roger Aronoff) - We have repeatedly exposed how the mainstream media consistently ignore the “phony scandal” of the multiple terrorist attacks in Benghazi, Libya in 2012, and the unnecessary deaths of four brave Americans, including Ambassador Chris Stevens...Indeed, the mainstream media shy away from covering this scandal or, alternatively, dismiss efforts to expose the ongoing government cover-up as an attack on Hilly Clinton’s presidential chances. But the media should be furious because they—alongside of the American public—were sold a lie by the nObama administration. And the media became one of the tools through which that lie was disseminated. The latest disclosures have come to light thanks to the ongoing efforts of Judicial Watch.       http://www.aim.org/aim-column/more-smoking-guns-confirm-benghazi-cover-up/?utm_source=AIM+-+Daily+Email&utm_campaign=email022715&utm_medium=email

 Erdoğan's Western Enablers
(Burak Bekdil) - The question of who lost Turkey is no doubt too late and futile to ask. A quick, but realistic answer, is probably "the Turks themselves," or, related to this, "it was destined to get lost."...After all, how Turkey is being governed today is a perfect reflection of what constitutes the predominant cultural, sociological and political values/norms in the country – each with economic derivatives of same or similar variables. We are all accountable by how rightly or wrongly we assessed the political phenomena; journalists by what accuracy their archives dating back to 10 or so years ago would produce, and politicians by their statements in the same retrospect. Any randomly selected opinion in this column since 2002 would too boringly portray the gloomy country we live in today, often with a note that "wished to be wrong."       http://www.meforum.org/5057/erdogan-western-enablers

Iran Working as Strategic Partner with Hezbollah Against Israel
(Jonathan Spyer and Benjamin Weinthal) - All is not quiet on the northern front between Israel and Syria/Lebanon. The recent Hezbollah attack on an Israel Defense Forces convoy in the Har Dov area close to Israel’s border with Lebanon...in which two Israeli soldiers were killed, was the latest move in a dangerous and high stakes game that is now underway on Israel’s northern frontier. Israel and Hezbollah are not the only players. The Islamic Republic of Iran, which the U.S. defines as the leading state-sponsor of terrorism, is also a key presence as Hezbollah’s strategic partner. The attack at Har Dov was the second move by Iran/Hezbollah in response to the Israeli operation on the Syrian Golan Heights on January 18th.  In the Israeli operation, a senior Iranian Revolutionary Guards officer, Mohammed Allahdadi, was killed, as was Jihad Mughniyeh, the son of a famous Hezbollah commander.       http://pjmedia.com/blog/iran-hezbollah/

Jihadis hack to death noted American writer, Avijit Roy, wife injured
(pamelageller.com) - It’s not just France and Denmark and Europe, it’s anywhere Muslims live and practice sharia. This savage war is on freedom of thought, freedom of expression, freedom of and from religion, and freedom of speech...In other words, imposing Islamic law by any means possible.  The New Israel Fund Are Extremists and Anti-Israel
(pamelageller.com) - Democratic political strategist Hank Sheinkopf noted in The Observer, “Those who stand with New Israel Fund are standing against Israel. To suggest otherwise is a lie...I urge anyone affiliated with the NIF to stop supporting this organization financially. The New Israel Fund must be ostracized by the Jewish community.” The New Israel Fund thinks suicide bombings are bad. How about throwing rocks? How about shooting rockets? Notice, Sfard did not deny testifying for the PLO – nor did the New Israel Fund  deny that they support BDS, or that they collaborate with Palestinian enemies of Israel at the United Nations and worldwide. Clearly, this campaign to shame donors and expose the New Israel Fund must continue. Sfard’s friends at the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) and the Palestinian Authority were held liable for real acts of terror this week. And we will continue to shame NIF donors. When most American Jews think of Jewish agencies, they think of social services, senior care, childcare, food and educational programs, or they think of support groups for various Israel causes. The New Israel Fund is none of that.       http://pamelageller.com/2015/02/the-new-israel-fund-are-extremists-and-anti-israel-read-our-reply-to-their-statement-ujafedny.html/

Retracing the legislative history behind King v. Burwell - ACA
(Thomas P. Miller) - Remember the case of the dog that did not bark in the night? If you want to count the “digital” and “paper” versions of trees that have been killed in trying to argue about the upcoming Supreme Court review of the legal challenge to an IRS rules...that tried to authorize tax credit subsidies for insurance coverage in federal-established health exchange under the Affordable Care Act, go ahead. I’ve lost count and given up, and that’s just looking at the official briefs filed on both sides. However, another astute Washington, DC-based attorney recently pointed out to several critics of the ACA, including me, how that isn’t the end of this legal story, which shows that the actual law passed by Congress never authorized tax credits for federal exchanges:       http://www.aei.org/publication/retracing-legislative-history-behind-king-v-burwell/?utm_source=today&utm_medium=paramount&utm_campaign=AEIToday022715

 The New Shiite Crescent
(Majid Rafizadeh) - While the nObama administration’s agenda and policies with regard to fighting the Islamic State have been counter-productive, the administration is ignoring other larger threats in the region...The profusion of Iran-trained Shiite militias in the region (particularly in Iraq, Syria, and Yemen) is unprecedented and represents the height of Iran’s support to militia groups. The incentives to recruit Shiite fighters can be either driven by financial means or religious/sectarian motives. The emergence of this new Shiite Crescent has unintended consequences for regional and global powers. Currently, an estimate of 120,000 Shiite militants are fighting in Iraq and Syria including fighters from Abo Al-Fadl Al-Abbasbrigade, Al-Imam AlHossein brigade, Tho Al-Faqar brigade, Kafil Zainab brigade, Asaib Ahl Alhaq, Ammar Bin Yasser brigade, Hezbollah Al-Nujaba’ movement, to name a few.       http://www.frontpagemag.com/2015/majid-rafizadeh/the-new-shiite-crescent/?utm_source=FrontPage+Magazine&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=a744fa4868-Mailchimp_FrontPageMag&utm_term=0_57e32c1dad-a744fa4868-156509103

Students For Justice in Palestine Hides True Intentions
(Ross Beroff) - Next week, our campus will be hosting Israel Apartheid Week (IAW), a series of events hosted by Students For Justice in Palestine (SJP) chapters across the country...It is time that this event and this group are exposed for what they truly are. SJP does not stand for justice, instead they are a hate group and a more fitting definition of the acronym would be, “Students for Jewish Persecution.” Let’s start with the naming of IAW. The use of the word “apartheid” in conjunction with Israel is not only false, but an insult to those who actually experienced true apartheid in South Africa. Most simply stated, there is no country in the Middle East that gives Arabs or other minorities more freedom than Israel does. Arabs can own land, vote, practice their chosen religion and speak their minds.       http://www.frontpagemag.com/2015/ross-beroff/students-for-justice-in-palestine-hides-true-intentions/?utm_source=FrontPage+Magazine&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=a744fa4868-Mailchimp_FrontPageMag&utm_term=0_57e32c1dad-a744fa4868-156509103

At UCLA, the Power of Negative Emotions
(David Suissa) - For several years now, a nasty anti-Israel group called Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) has bludgeoned Israel’s image on college campuses. They take no prisoners. They have little interest in polite and civil debate...They are lethal at manipulating the college bureaucracy to win Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) votes against Israel. They invite speakers linked to terrorists groups. They don’t even hide the fact that their beef with Israel goes much deeper than Israel’s disputed occupation of the West Bank. It’s all of Israel they have a problem with. When SJP talks about justice for Palestinians, they don’t mean justice for the millions of Palestinians living in misery in refugee camps in Jordan and Lebanon. They’re only interested in Palestinians that are connected to Israel– those living in the West Bank and Gaza—because only those Palestinians can accommodate SJP’s agenda to bash the Zionist enemy. Their contempt for Israel knows no bound. I challenge anyone to visit their Web sites, attend their demonstrations or read their literature and find one genuine gesture of recognition for Israel’s side of the story. UCLA was one of the campus that I was thinking of attending at a young age. The UCLA administration has gone to far and letting this group operate on campus.       http://www.frontpagemag.com/2015/david-suissa/at-ucla-the-power-of-negative-emotions/?utm_source=FrontPage+Magazine&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=a744fa4868-Mailchimp_FrontPageMag&utm_term=0_57e32c1dad-a744fa4868-156509103

A rallying call for our nation’s defense
Jim Talent, Eric Edelman
shutterstock_190896263

(aei.org) - Last week, the government confirmed that Kayla Mueller had died while in the custody of ISIS. In the weeks prior, we learned about the brutal murders of three innocent people — the beheading of two Japanese citizens and the immolation of a Jordanian pilot. That followed news that Russia was stepping up its aggression in Ukraine, which followed the overthrow of the Yemeni government by an Iranian proxy, which followed the Charlie Hebdo killings, which followed the North Korean cyber attack on an American company. The Pentagon has announced more troop deployments to the Middle East. Boko Haram is still kidnapping people in Nigeria, tensions are still high in the South and East China Seas, and Iran is still positioned to develop a nuclear bomb. China continues its massive military build-up, which is shifting the balance of power in its favor in the Western Pacific.

What more needs to happen before our leaders begin to take the defense budget seriously?

The nObama Administration has sent its FY 2016 defense budget to Congress. It contains a modest increase, but only when measured against the current baseline, and that baseline is almost $100 billion less than the amount that the Administration said, only four years ago, it would need to spend on defense in FY 2016.

That’s because since 2011, the government has — with full knowledge of the consequences — funded defense at a level that it knows is far less than needed to protect the vital interests of the United States.

In the spring of 2011, then-Secretary of Defense Bob Gates, after two years of paring back Pentagon spending, offered a ten-year budget with modest annual increases for his department. The increases didn’t even keep up with inflation, but they would at least have allowed the Defense Department to maintain its end strength, begin building up the Navy, and start to recapitalize its inventories after ten years of hard fighting.

Within a few months, President nObama proposed in a speech to cut $400 billion dollars from his own recently submitted budget. Later in the same year, he signed the Budget Control Act and sequester, which together imposed caps on defense spending that cut a trillion dollars from the Gates’s budget. There was no pretense that these cuts were warranted or even tolerable; in fact, at the same time as Congress and the President were enacting the cuts, the new secretary of defense Leon Panetta said that they would be “devastating”, and General Martin Dempsey, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, said that they were “like shooting ourselves in the head.”

They were correct. When the Pentagon is squeezed for money, it will typically cut first force structure and then modernization budgets; the last thing it cuts is day-to-day readiness, the ability of the current force to carry out its current missions. When the 2011 cuts fully hit, the Defense Department was forced to take the money from readiness. All of the services cut training and maintenance. The process created a backlog which still exists today. Since then, the Department has been cutting modernization programs and end strength. The Army, for example, is scheduled to shrink to pre-WWII levels.

The monstrous irony of the cuts is that they will end up costing money. At some point, the government will have to begin repairing the damage to the armed forces. That will take years and will certainly cost more than if the reductions had not occurred, just as the Reagan buildup in the 1980s cost more than it should have because the military was hollowed out during the Carter years. So the effect of the cuts is this: They have masked the size of the short term deficit — taking some of the pressure off Congress to address the real budgetary challenges — while increasing the longer term fiscal shortfall, unraveling American power, and compromising the credibility and security of the United States.

Irresponsibility of this magnitude is unprecedented, even in Washington. Senator John McCain was right when, in his speech to the Munich Security Conference, he referred to the “collective insanity of sequestration—arbitrary defense cuts that all of our military leaders testified to Congress two weeks ago are putting American and allied lives at risk.”

Last year, Congress created a bipartisan Independent Panel to review the condition and future plans of the Department of Defense. The panel was co-chaired by former Secretary of Defense Bill Perry and retired General John Abizaid. To no one’s surprise, the panel unanimously condemned both the cuts and the process by which they were enacted, finding that “today the Department is facing major readiness shortfalls that will, absent a decisive reversal of course, create the possibility of a hollow force that loses its best people, underfunds procurement, and shortchanges innovation. The fact that each service is experiencing degradations in so many areas at once is especially troubling at a time of growing security challenges.”

Such reports are usually quite careful in their language and guarded in their recommendations. This one wasn’t. In the Introduction to the report, the panel stated that. “in fact—and this bears emphasis—we believe that unless recommendations of the kind we make in this Report are adopted, the Armed Forces of the United States will in the near future be at high risk of not being able to accomplish the National Defense Strategy.”

The panel recommended that 1) funds be appropriated to restore near term readiness, 2) the Department develop a plan based on realistic budgets for the future, and 3) in the meantime Congress return to at least the budget baseline which Secretary Gates proposed in 2011, which was the last time the Department was allowed to engage in anything approaching real defense planning.

In sum, it was a stunning rebuke of the defense policies of the last four years. For a more thorough discussion, see here.

Until recently, Congress had at least a political excuse for not removing the caps on defense. The House and Senate were controlled by different parties, making common action on anything quite difficult, and national security was not a priority issue in the minds of the public.

But the environment has changed. The Republicans now have complete control of Congress, and the events of the last year have awakened the American people to the risks that are accumulating around the world. National security will be a major issue in the next presidential election. Candidates of both parties are quite likely to attack the defense policy of the last four years, for two reasons. First, that policy is a poster child for exactly the kind of bipartisan Washington dysfunction that voters hate. Second, no one who contemplates exercising the responsibilities of the presidency, and who is not named Barack nObama, wants to try to defend American security with a military which, in the panel’s words, will be at “high risk of not being able to execute the national defense strategy.”

Senator Marco Rubio and Governor Bobby Jindal have already given strong speeches condemning the defense cuts; other likely Republican candidates will almost certainly follow suit; and the signs are that Hilly Clinton will also support returning to the Gates’ baseline. Former undersecretary of defense Michele Flournoy, who heads the list of likely defense secretaries in a Hilly Clinton administration, was a member of the panel, supported its report, and has testified and spoken out strongly in favor of its recommendations.

Anyone who reads the Constitution will see right away that “providing for the common defense” is the priority responsibility of the federal government. In fact, it is the government’s only mandatory function; all of the other powers granted to Congress in Article I are permissive in nature, but Article IV of the Constitution states that the government “shall protect the each of them (the States) from invasion.” Neither the states, nor the people in them, are being sufficiently protected now, and the time is drawing near when there will be a political accounting for what has happened.

The Congressional Republicans now have a chance – probably their final chance – to take a leadership role on behalf of a strong national defense. They can pass a defense appropriations bill for FY 2016 at substantially above the president’s request, and they can pass a ten year budget which returns defense spending to the Gates’ baseline while at the same time retaining the sequester levels for non-defense spending.

In other words, the Republicans could fund what the Constitution deems important and otherwise hold the line in the name of fiscal restraint. That would be a conservative budget. More important, it would be the single most consequential act this Congress could take to protect American security during the two years that remain of the nObama Administration.

If An ICE Agent Crosses nObama on Immigration...
Let's suppose there's an enterprising Immigrations and Customs Enforcement agent who doesn't follow the "prioritized deportation" policies handed down by a lawmaking president, but instead, follows the letter of the law. MSNBC's Jose Diaz-Balart asked Barack nObama, "How do you ensure that ICE and Border Patrol won't be deporting people like this. What are the consequences?" And mObama answered that agent would have trouble. "The bottom line is that if somebody's working for ICE," nObama said, "and there's a policy, and they don't follow the policy, there's going to be consequences to it. So I can't speak to a specific problem. What I can talk about is what's true in the government generally. In the U.S. military, when you get an order, you're expected to follow it." In effect, nObama is saying his executive action on immigration -- although unconstitutional and stayed by a federal judge -- has the force of law and his authority as commander in chief behind it. Beware any lowly law enforcement official who doesn't fall into line. More...  -The Patriot Post

Senate Funds DHS, Will Consider Immigration Separately
After weeks of impasse over blocking Barack nObama's executive amnesty, the Senate finally moved. "The stalemate over funding for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) was broken Wednesday as the Senate voted 98-2 to proceed to legislation that would prevent a partial government shutdown," The Hill reports. "Democrats agreed to support the DHS bill after Senate Majority Leader Mitch McCon-nell (R-Ky.) agreed to strip out provisions inserted by the House that would reverse President nObama's executive actions on immigration. The only votes against proceeding to the bill came from Sens. James Inhofe (R-Okla.) and Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.)." Now the legislation will move back to the House, where Republicans have steadfastly rejected doing anything less than blocking nObama. We appreciate the sentiment, but the battle has become House vs. Senate and Republican vs. Republican rather than the GOP Congress against nObama. That's not going to win much.  -The Patriot Post

Aspiring Terrorists in Brooklyn Are No 'Lone Wolves'
The nObama administration says ISIL isn't a domestic threat. All these terror attacks you hear about around the globe, they claim, are just demonstrations by "lone wolves" who can't find jobs or something. And, hey, nObama's economy is swell, so what's the worry? Well, this, courtesy of NBC 4 New York: "Three Brooklyn men who allegedly plotted to travel to Syria to join ISIS and posted online messages about planting a bomb on Coney Island and shooting police officers were taken into custody during FBI and NYPD terror raids Wednesday. ... The men, 24- and 30-year-old Uzbekistan citizens and a 19-year-old Kazakhstan citizen who all lived in Brooklyn, allegedly planned to return to New York to commit a domestic act of terror if they failed to join the group overseas, law enforcement officials said." Does that sound like "lone-wolf terrorism"? Whether it's an attack carried out by Islamists in the United States, Canada, Britain, France, Syria, Iraq or Australia, the common denominator is a twisted ideology that calls for slaying the infidel in service to Jihadistan. And while aspiring terrorists in the U.S. have for the most part kept underground, they have found new inspiration in ISIL, which is indirectly recruiting through the power of propaganda.  Hanoi Kerry Blasts Netanyahu for Iraq War Support
We get it. The nObama administration really doesn't like Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Secretary of State Hanoi John Kerry made that clear again Wednesday in testimony before Congress, saying we can't trust Netanyahu because he supported invading Iraq. "The prime minister was profoundly forward-leaning and outspoken about the importance of invading Iraq under George W. Bush. We all know what happened with that decision," Hanoi Kerry lectured. Indeed, it was the impetus for his infamous "botched joke" about uneducated people getting "stuck in Iraq." There's also the small detail of Hanoi Kerry having voted for the war. We know he was for it before it was against it, but come on, Mr. Secretary. Have a little self-awareness.   -The Patriot Post

loose lips Biden Wants to Emancipate the Wealth of the One   Percent
loose lips Joe Biden's comments commemorating Black History Month careened right past the struggle for civil rights and mired into full-on socialism. On Monday, Creepy Ol' Joe hosted a Black History Month event where he said, "A lot of wealthy white and black people aren't bad, but they control 1% of the economy and this cannot stand. It's not fair because the business experts are saying that concentration of wealth is stunting growth. So let's do something that's worthy of emancipation." loose lips Biden continued, explaining Abraham Lincoln's Emancipation Proclamation: "What happened is not only did we move toward freeing black Americans but also the conscience of white Americans." Per loose lips Biden's usual rhetorical "style," these comments are filled with muddled metaphors and thoughtless arguments. Is he saying "emancipating" the wealth belonging to the Scrooge McDucks of the nation would be good for their souls? If wealthy white and black people are the problem, how is this in any way connected to the civil rights struggle of the '60s? Finally, why is he equating today's dollars with enslaved, antebellum blacks? While nothing is officially announced, loose lips Biden may be starting his campaign for president -- by signaling he'll continue Barack nObama's socialist engineering of America.  Cuccinelli rips Republicans: 'They don't have any backbone!'
(
Greg Corombos) - Senate Conservatives Fund President Ken Cuccinelli calls Senate Republicans’ decision to push Homeland Security funding that includes money for President nObama’s amnesty a “total surrender” that proves GOP leaders “really don’t have any backbone.”...Senate Majority Leader Mitch McCon-nell, R-Ky., decided earlier in the week to stop pushing a Department of Homeland Security, or DHS, appropriations bill that strictly forbids funding for nObama administration executive action on immigration in 2012 and 2014. With Democrats blocking debate, McCon-nell agreed to bring a “clean” bill forward in exchange for Democrat promises to vote on a separate bill to defund nObama’s unilateral November action to legalize five million people in the country illegally. The latter bill has virtually no chance of passing. So is this an example of Republicans letting nObama get away with an unconstitutional act, or was it the only realistic way to keep Homeland Security efforts funded?       http://www.wnd.com/2015/02/cuccinelli-rips-republicans-they-dont-have-any-backbone/

Rep Jim Jordan – Mysterious Vanishing IRS Email Records Found
(Rick Wells) - In House Oversight Committee hearings held on Thursday, Rep Jim Jordan (R-OH) questions Deputy Inspector General for Investigations Timothy Camus regarding missing IRS emails...the Inspector General’s successful efforts to obtain them and the apparent lack of effort on the part of the IRS to find the supposedly missing records. The attempts to retrieve the elusive documents were simple matters of making a phone call and driving over to the location where they were stored. Inspector General Camus simply phoned the record depository, determined that the records were there, got into his car and  drove over to that location, and taking possession of 744 tapes.  Australia: Muslims outraged at PM’s “aggressive rhetoric”
(Robert Spencer) - What was his “aggressive rhetoric against Muslims”? What were his “incredibly reckless” remarks? He said: “I’ve often heard Western leaders describe Islam as a religion of peace…I wish more Muslim leaders would say that more often and mean it.” And: “The Islamist death-cult has declared war on the world.” In response, instead of declaring their loyalty to Australia and showing themselves to be on his side against the terrorists, Muslim leaders in Australia are claiming victim status. How unfortunately predictable. Muslim community leaders have voiced their anger at Prime Minister Tony Abbott over his national security speech on Monday, saying it did nothing but inflame tensions and belittle the efforts of Muslims leaders working to decrease community antagonism. Sorry, but I stand with PM Tony Abbott.        https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iib89Zy_8rM

Can We Impeach Now? - Can We? We Should!!
(Erick Erickson) - First Barack nObama decided to overreach and extend amnesty by executive order. One judge in Texas has told him no and Republicans are hanging their hat on that judge’s order...Then the FCC decided to declare internet a public utility. They overreached, rushed it through, and committed to as little transparency as possible to make it happen. Congress did nothing on this front and the FCC decided to replace the Congress on the matter. Now there are reports that Barack nObama, by executive order and agency regulation, will curtail the manufacture of certain ammunition. Again and again and again the President of the United States has met the boundaries of his powers and stepped across them. The Senate is now on the verge of confirming his Attorney General appointee who sees no limits to the power of Octavius nObama. Given Barack nObama’s continuous overreaching of power, I must now ask if it is time to consider impeachment proceedings. Is it even possible?       http://www.redstate.com/2015/02/27/can-we-impeach-now/

 Hanoi John Kerry: disingenuous blowhard
(streiff) - Yesterday, our alleged Secretary of State, Sen, Hanoi John Kerry, accused Israeli Prime Minister of doing something akin to cheerleading America into war with Iran...This is the kind of blood-libel-lite the left uses. Just as conservative Jews are accused of having “mixed loyalties,” Israeli officials who are trying to prevent their nation from being destroyed as part of a liberal Democrat undergraduate seminar in international relations regularly get accused of tying to involve America in wars.  nObama Dares GOP: ‘Vote on Whether What I’m Doing Is Legal
(Craig Bannister) - Pres. nObama is daring Republicans to vote on whether or not his executive actions are legal...Discussing opposition to his executive amnesty orders at an immigration town hall Wednesday, nObama said he would veto the vote because his actions are “the right thing to do”: “So in the short term, if Mr. McCon-nell, the leader of the Senate, and the Speaker of the House, backstabber John Boehner, want to have a vote on whether what I’m doing is legal or not, they can have that vote.  I will veto that vote, because I’m absolutely confident that what we’re doing is the right thing to do.” Congress take up his dare and show him he is in the wrong. Then impeach him.        http://www.mrctv.org/blog/obama-go-ahead-have-vote-whether-what-i-m-doing-legal-i-will-veto
The End of Freedom in America
Alan Caruba

(aim.org/guest-column) - The America that has existed from the days of the Declaration of Independence in 1776, when its sovereignty was acknowledged by a treaty with England 1783, and its founding in 1788 with the ratification of the Constitution is no more. The America for which thousands fought and gave their lives is no more.

That America ends on February 26 when the Federal Communications Commission, under intense pressure from the nObama White House and with the votes of its Democratic Party commissioners asserts government control over the Internet with a 332-page set of regulations, dubbed “Net Neutrality.”

Writing in the Feb 22nd Wall Street Journal, columnist L. Gordon Crovitz summed up what will occur saying “nObamanet promises to fix an Internet that isn’t broken…The permissionless Internet which allows anyone to introduce a website, app, or device without government review, ends this week.”

“The big politicization came when President nObama in November demanded that the supposedly independent FCC apply agency’s most extreme regulation to the Internet.” Of course nObama wants the Internet regulated and of course the Democratic Party will support this move to control who gets to put up a website or blog and, more importantly, who gets to say anything critical of the President.

The Democratic Party has been in everything but name the Communist Party in the United States for several decades. nObama was raised and mentored to be a Marxist. What we are witnessing is nothing less than tyranny replacing democracy.

Crovitz warned that “This week Mr. nObama’s bureaucrats will give him the regulated Internet he demands. Unless Congress or the courts block  nObamanet, it will be the end of the Internet as we know it.”

Earlier this week, as reported by Giuseppe Macri in The Daily Caller the FCC’s two Republican commissioners, Ajit Pai and Michael O’Rielly, asked Chairman Tom Wheeler “to delay the vote and release his proposal to the public. ‘We respectfully request that FCC leadership immediately release the 332-page Internet regulation plan publicly and allow the American people a reasonable period of not less than 30 days to carefully study it.'”

There is some evil at work here because, as the Republican commissioners point out, “the plan in front of us right now is so drastically different than the proposal the FCC adopted and put out for public comment last May.”

Shades of nObamaCare! Even the Democrats who voted that monstrosity into law had not read it. Now neither Congress, nor the rest of America is being permitted to see regulations that will determine what can and cannot be posted to the Internet, the greatest instrument of free speech ever invented since the printing press.

Commissioner Pai says that the FCC is “adopting a solution that won’t work to a problem that doesn’t exist using legal authority we don’t have.” He estimates that the regulations will add up to $11 billion in new taxes on Internet access.

In a commentary, “Neutralize nObama’s Hijacking of the Internet”, Judi McLeod, the editor of CanadaFreePress.com, said “Forget NSA, the FBI, the CIA, and all warnings sent by Edward Snowden. They’ve got nothing on how Net Neutrality will silence you.”

“Someday in the near future when you type in the words “Islamic terrorists” in an Internet post, you will be knocked off the Net and find it all but impossible to climb back on again.”

Do I think the Congress will exercise its oversight responsibilities and stop this tyrannical power grab? No. Do I think our court system will do anything other than bow to precedent set by earlier FCC regulations? Yes.

As a nation founded on and devoted to freedom of speech, I think February 26, 2015 will go down in the history books as the day when that freedom came to an end in America.

Thanks to a National Security Agency we no longer have any privacy regarding anything we say using telephones, the Internet or any other form of communication.

If the Democrat-controlled FCC has its way, the Internet will slow your access and could eliminate access countless sites that provide news and express opinions the federal government finds offensive. That’s what tyrannies do.

Barbara Jordan was a lawyer and educator who was a congresswoman from 1972 to 1978—the first African-American congresswoman to come from the Deep South and the first woman ever elected to the Texas Senate (1966). She captured the attention of President Lyndon Johnson, who invited her to the White House for a preview of his 1967 civil rights message. She was a prominent public figure, civil rights advocate, and leading presence in the Democratic Party politics for four decades. One of her last works of public service was to head the U.S. Commission on Immigration Reform (she acted as chair from December 14, 1993 till the time of her death on January 17, 1996 ). The conclusions 4064093100?profile=originaland recommendations of this commission are quite enlightening and more relevant than ever today. She said, “for immigration to continue to serve our national interest, it must be lawful. There are people who argue that some illegal aliens contribute to our community because they may work, pay taxes, send their children to our schools, and in all respects except one, obey the law. Let me be clear: that is not enough”. Jordan also said, “Credibility in immigration policy can be summed up in one sentence: those who should get in, get in; those who should be kept out, are kept out; and those who should not be here will be required to leave”.

FAIR, the Federation for American Immigration Reform estimated that in 2010 the total cost of education, welfare and healthcare for illegal immigrants to American taxpayers was almost $80 billion. Those numbers do not include the billions in tax dollars that has been spent on the incarceration and legal fees for the illegal immigrant criminals. According to data from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Department of Justice (DOJ) in 2010 the U.S. was spending at least $18.6 Million per day to incarcerate between 300,000 to 450,000 illegal aliens; which equates to another $6.8 billion a year excluding legal fees. The number of 450,000 incarcerated criminal aliens was 20 percent of the entire inmate population of the U.S. at that time. That sets the total cost of illegal immigrants to American taxpayers at nearly $90 billion per year plus legal fees.

Jordan’s recommendations and conclusions concerning immigration in America was a model for the future and were embraced by both Democrats and Republicans alike. Had her conclusions and recommendations been implemented fully by our Government perhaps we may not have so many of the costly problems we now have with illegal immigration.4064093112?profile=original

Unfortunately, the Democrats and the establishment ruling Republicans of today have decided to destroy Jordan’s template completely and ignore her recommendations in exchange for future political gain. Why do they both want amnesty so badly? Informed American voters know that it has nothing to do with their concern for the welfare of these immigrants nor does it have anything to with compassion and the goodness of their hearts. It has everything to do with politics and their vying for a predominately uneducated, poor constituency of future voters by buying their favor with all “Free stuff” they can implement or steal at the expense of the American Taxpayer.

FCC BOSS DITCHES NET REGULATION HEARING
The Hill: “The House Oversight Committee has postponed a hearing to explore whether the White House had undue influence on the Federal Communications Commission’s development of net neutrality rules. The announcement came after FCC Chairman Tom Wheeler declined to testify at Wednesday’s hearing, which would have come just a day ahead of the commission’s vote on the new regulations. Wheeler has agreed to testify at a later date, according to the FCC. House Oversight Chairman Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah) and House Energy and Commerce Committee Chairman Fred Upton (R-Mich.) said they were ‘deeply disappointed’ in Wheeler’s decision but promised that their probe would continue.  ‘So long as the chairman continues to insist on secrecy, we will continue calling for more transparency and accountability at the commission,’ they said. ‘Chairman Wheeler and the FCC are not above Congress. This fight continues as the future of the Internet is at stake.’”

WaPo: “Sen. John Thune (R-S.D.) isn’t giving up on net neutrality legislation. In fact, he’s still interested in finding alternatives to what the Federal Communications Commission has proposed as the strongest rules on Internet providers the country has ever seen.  Why should you care? -   Aside from the philosophical question of whether the government can or should have the power to regulate the internet, the regulations themselves could cause your binge-watching habits to be slightly more frustrating.  IMMIGRATION STANDOFF LIKELY TO END WITH A WHIMPER,   NOT A BANG
WaPo: “The Senate moved closer Tuesday to a deal to avert a partial shutdown of the Department of Homeland Security, but the proposal faced an uncertain future in the House…Under [Senate Majority Leader Mitch McCon-nell’s] proposal, the Senate would vote first on the funding measure and then hold a separate vote on a bill to undo nObama’s new immigration initiatives. McCon-nell hopes to assuage conservatives who are determined to confront the president on what they see as abuse of his executive authority…. But House Speaker backstabber John A. Boehner (R-Ohio) did not immediately warm to the proposal, and it was not clear whether he could marshal enough backing in his chamber to complete the deal to keep DHS open beyond Friday, when its spending authority expires. House Republicans will huddle behind closed doors Wednesday morning.”  -Fox News

Syria's Civil War Could Stabilize Its Region
(Daniel Pipes) - Population shifts resulting from Syria's four-year long civil war have profoundly changed Syria and its three Arabic-speaking neighbors: Iraq, Lebanon, and Jordan. (Turkey and Israel have changed too, but less so.)... Ironically, amid tragedy and horror, as populations adapt to the brutal imperatives of modern nationalism, all four countries are becoming a bit more stable. That's because the fighting has pushed peoples to move from ethnic minority status to ethnic majority status, encouraging like to live with like.  Whose Idea Was This Amnesty Defunding Mess Anyway?
(CHQ Staff) - The Capitol Hill Republican establishment leadership is now on the verge of caving-in to the Senate Democrats on defunding nObama’s unconstitutional “executive amnesty,” so it is fair to ask how, in the face of the overwhelming victory Republicans won in the 2014 midterms...they find themselves in the middle of this mess. The answer is they put themselves there, because back in December they wouldn’t fight for conservative principles and instead chose to worm their way out of the immediate crisis of passing the hated “CRomnibus” to fund the government, get off to their Christmas and holiday vacations, and avoid a potential government wide “shutdown” that fighting nObama’s amnesty then would have entailed. The answer to worm their way out of that crisis was to split DHS funding off, pass the CRomnibus and promise they would fight nObama’s unconstitutional executive amnesty when they had majorities in both Houses of Congress.      http://www.conservativehq.com/article/19775-whose-idea-was-amnesty-defunding-mess-anyway

Target Practice? Iran blows up “U.S. aircraft carrier”
(pamelageller.com) - Iran has warned that US carriers will be targeted. nObama legitimized these savages and turned over billions of dollars...In addition to the carrier attack, the drill included the Guard shooting down a drone and planting mines at sea. nObama’s response it to has been to aggressively go after Israel. Like all thugs and autocrats, he targets the victim.  New Secret Iranian Nuclear Facility Revealed
(Ryan Mauro) - An Iranian opposition group has disclosed the existence of a secret uranium enrichment site in Iran that has been operating since 2008...The revelation comes as the U.S. and Iran come close to an "historic compromise" on its nuclear program ahead of a March 31 deadline for a deal. The National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), a controversial opposition group, is known for its expansive intelligence network inside Iran that regularly delivers detailed information about the regime’s secret activities. In 2002, NCRI exposed that Iran had a secret uranium enrichment facility at Natanz and was building a heavy water reactor at Arak suitable for making plutonium-based nuclear weapons. The Iranian regime was forced to admit their existence and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has inspected the sites.       http://www.clarionproject.org/analysis/new-secret-iranian-nuclear-facility-revealed

nObama to ban bullets by executive action
(Paul Bedard) - It’s starting. As promised, President nObama is using executive actions to impose gun control on the nation, targeting the top-selling rifle in the country, the AR-15 style semi-automatic...with a ban on one of the most-used AR bullets by sportsmen and target shooters. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives this month revealed that it is proposing to put the ban on 5.56 mm ammo on a fast track, immediately driving up the price of the bullets and prompting retailers, including the huge outdoors company Cabela’s, to urge sportsmen to urge Congress to stop the president. nObama is overstepping his bounds and is creating an ugly mess.       http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/article/2560750
Why the Fake Story About the Mossad
Contradicting Netanyahu?
Jonathan Tobin
Why the Fake Story About the Mossad Contradicting Netanyahu?

(.jewishworldreview.com) - The headlines in the Guardian and Al Jazeera trumpeted what seemed like a very juicy story.

According to leaked South African intelligence cables obtained by Al Jazeera and shared with the Guardian, the Israeli intelligence agency Mossad had come to conclusions that "contradicted" Prime Minister Netanyahu's assertions about Iran's nuclear program in his 2012 speech to the General Assembly of the United Nations.

The charge was repeated in a story published by the New York Times. If true, then Netanyahu's speech, best remembered for the cartoon bomb illustration he brandished, would be exposed as political hyperbole.

But a closer look at the speech and the leaked cable shows that the headlines aren't justified. In fact, they are downright false. That leads us to ask the question why major media outlets are seeking to discredit Netanyahu with misleading stories just at the moment when details about President nObama's latest nuclear offer to Iran has become public.

The answer reveals a great deal about both the bias of the press and the stakes in the Iran nuclear debate.

Unpacking the assertions in the Al Jazeera/Guardian story isn't difficult. As Mitch Ginsburg points out in the Times of Israel, the crux of that story is that the leaked documents say that in 2012, the Mossad told its South African counterparts that, "Iran at this time is not performing the activity necessary to produce weapons." That led both papers (dutifully echoed by the Times a day later) to claim that Netanyahu's "inflammatory rhetoric" and "alarmist tone" about the prospect of an Iranian bomb was not only unjustified but a lie made out of whole cloth.

That is damning stuff indeed. But what exactly did Netanyahu say in September 2012 while brandishing a picture of a Wile E. Coyote-style bomb?

By next spring, at most by next summer, at current enrichment rates, they will have finished the medium enrichment and moved on to the final stage. From there, it's only a few months, possibly a few weeks, before they get enough enriched uranium for the first bomb.

Let's be clear about this. Netanyahu did not say that Iran would have a bomb in a few months. He just said they were enriching enough uranium to create a bomb. That is not a minor distinction. And on that point, there was no disagreement between the Mossad and the prime minister. Which is to say this big story is no story at all. But the much-ballyhooed "contradiction" which was not actually a contradiction is still being reported throughout the world and on cable news networks as a flaw in Netanyahu's arguments and a blow to his credibility.

It is true that the heads of Israel's intelligence agencies have at times clashed with Netanyahu. That was particularly true in 2012 when rumors were rife that the prime minister and his former rival and then coalition partner Ehud Barak, serving as defense minister at that time, were thinking seriously about ordering a military strike on Iran's nuclear facilities. The spooks were worried that such a plan couldn't work, would alienate the United States and, more to the point, might be rendered unnecessary by covert activities such as cyber attacks on the Iranian program and assassinations of scientists.

As it turns out, the spy agency and its American counterparts overestimated the damage that their Stuxnet attack on the Iranian computer systems could do. Though Tehran experienced a setback, all indications are that covert action conclusively failed to halt the Iranian program.

But the decision to go big with a story undermining Netanyahu this week is no accident. We learned that Israel's warnings that the U.S. was offering massive concessions to Iran in the nuclear talks were entirely true. The administration told the press that it was presenting the Iranians with a proposal that would not only allow them to keep most of their existing nuclear infrastructure and lift sanctions but that all they were asking them to do was to freeze their development for ten years after which restrictions would be lifted.

Combined with the latest report from the International Atomic Energy Agency that showed the Iranians were continuing to stonewall efforts to inspect sites that would allow the UN body to discover how much progress had been made toward weaponization, and what you get is a picture of a negotiating process whose only aim is to foster détente between the U.S. and Iran, not one whose purpose is to spike their nuclear ambitions.

The weaponization aspect of that report is significant particularly in light of the attention given the Mossad's 2012 conclusions. At that time it wasn't clear whether the Iranians were close to a bomb.

Neither the U.S. nor Israel knows the answer to that question today either. But what we do know is that Netanyahu's predictions about Iran's capabilities were not only vindicated but may well become accepted by the West in the wake of President nObama's proposal. Thus at this moment, damaging Netanyahu's credibility, even if it means shading the truth or inventing a contradiction when there is none, has become vital for those who believe confronting Iran over its nuclear program is a mistake.

No matter how many brickbats are hurled at him by the media or how many tactical mistakes he and his staff may make as they are being outmaneuvered in Washington by the White House, the fact remains that Iran's nuclear ambitions are a deadly threat to the security of the West and the moderate Arab nations as well as an existential challenge to Israel's existence.

But the president's apologists will have to do better than a misleading Mossad story if they are to succeed in silencing the critics of nObama's Iran appeasement.

He “became more observant of his religion and began wearing more traditional Islamic dress.” But since that cannot be admitted, British authorities will look high and low for some other explanation. “EXCLUSIVE: First picture of the face of the angelic schoolboy who turned into […]

Muslim prof in The Atlantic hits “the phony Islam” of the Islamic State

I’ve noted several times lately that the Western intelligentsia is deeply concerned that you have a positive view of Islam — hence the steady barrage of articles explaining that those masked men brandishing Qur’ans and screaming “Allahu akbar” as they saw off Infidel heads don’t really have anything, anything at all, to do with the […]

Woe to you — from the gay community — if you dare to point out Sharia persecution of gays. Weekend Edition: Can We PLEASE Focus???

By Craig Andresen – The National Patriot and Right Side Patriots oncprworldwidemedia.net

tnp-eagle.jpg?width=226I have to tell you that there are just some things I don’t give a rat’s ass about. Not in the least…not at all…because in the grand scheme of things and with the world in the shape it’s in right now…certain things just don’t really matter.

For instance…

I don’t give a crap who wore what to the Oscars. For that matter, I don’t give a crap who DIDN’T wear what to the Oscars and if you think there is some overwhelming reason to continue to post and share photos of Neil Patrick Harris in his tighty-whiteys…you are sadly mistaken.

I don’t care who sang what during halftime and I don’t care how Madonna’s dancers were dressed at a Brit Awards show. When people launch into that line of ‘THE WORLD IS ENDING…ILLUMINATI…SIGNS OF THE APOCOLYPSE AND THE DEVIL’S MUSIC’ crap…it makes reasonable people think you’re on the verge of organizing a book burning party on an overpass to prove that you are somehow more virtuous than the rest of humanity.

I don’t care who’s sleeping with whom or who is getting married to whom. If you don’t think that people of the same sex should sleep with each other or get married to one another than by all means…don’t sleep with or marry someone with the same parts as your own.

Problem solved.

Colorado and Washington made it legal to smoke pot for fun. Okay…since I don’t smoke pot or live in Washington or Colorado…why should I care. They both voted on it at the state level…it passed in both states…big deal.

Abortion?

Even Holder Can't Pin Civil Rights Violations on Zimmerman
Nearly three years to the day since George Zimmerman killed Trayvon Martin in what was ruled self-defense, the nObama Justice Department finally admitted its investigation found "insufficient evidence" to charge Zimmerman with violating Martin's civil rights. Attorney General Eric Holder grudgingly conceded the evidence didn't meet the "high standard for a federal hate crime prosecution," though he insisted we "continue the dialogue" about racial tension. Holder, Barack nObama and the usual suspects of professional racial grievance immediately seized on Martin's death as a platform for their brand of "social justice." That included nObama's infamous pronouncement, "If I had a son, he'd look like Trayvon." But attempting to make him a poster boy for "hate crimes" diverts attention from a terribly inconvenient truth: A grossly disproportionate number of murder victims in any year are black men, women and children -- about 9,000 annually. And most of these victims are murdered by other blacks -- with only a handful of cases that might be associated with racism. More...  -The Patriot Post

 The Welcome Mat for Muslims
Barack nObama's Summit on Countering Violent Extremism went over about as well as one might expect from an administration determined to deny the truth regarding that extremism's origins. But the problem is much worse than just semantics. Paul Sperry writes at Investor's Business Daily, "Between 2010 and 2013, the nObama administration imported almost 300,000 new immigrants from Muslim nations -- more immigrants than the U.S. let in from Central America and Mexico combined over that period. ... Many of the recent Muslim immigrants are from terrorist hot spots like Iraq, where the Islamic State operates. From 2010-2013, nObama ushered in 41,094 Iraqi nationals from there. Now the State Department says it will quadruple the number of refugees brought here from Syria, where IS is headquartered." Perhaps many or most of these people are truly refugees. But maybe some are jihadis looking for an American gun-free zone to attack. It's clear that combining nObama's immigration policies with his views on national security is dangerous, and it could have dire implications for our nation. More...   -The Patriot Post

 A Stupid Deal With Iran
Barack nObama once claimed his foreign policy was based on the principle, "Don't do stupid s---." Well, here is one of the most egregiously stupid ideas in recent memory: The U.S. is reportedly considering accepting a deal with Iran that would simply kick the can down the road by a decade or so, allowing Iran to continue its nuclear developments in the meantime and even allowing for reduced restrictions toward the end of the agreement period. (Hanoi John Kerry, of course, denies the report.) Deputy Secretary of State Antony Blinken, displaying a keen mastery of the obvious, said any such deal would require highly intrusive inspections to verify Iran was meeting the deal's terms. Perhaps fellow State Department deep thinker Marie Harf could explain to him that we are in this mess precisely because Iran has refused to live up to its previous intrusive inspection requirements under the Non-Proliferation Treaty. After 12 years of lying, cheating, hiding facilities, hindering inspectors, etc., now we're supposed to believe Iran will agree to a new deal's inspection terms? Despite all the technical arguments and political dynamics, the problem is a very simple one. Iran is obligated under the Non-Proliferation Treaty to give the International Atomic Energy Agency full, unrestricted access to inspect and verify Iran's peaceful use of nuclear energy. Iran has refused to do so for more than a decade, openly dismissing the IAEA's authority and even more openly mocking the UN's ability to force Iran to comply. Pretending the previous 12 years never happened and accepting Iran's word that this time it really, truly means it when it pledges to accept intrusive inspections is the very definition of "doing stupid s---."  -The Patriot Post
 Cue the GOP Immigration Disaster
It's been less than 100 days since the Republican Party won Congress in the midterm elections. And in that time, it has garnered Barack nObama's veto of the Keystone XL pipeline and a fight over immigration that could gridlock Congress for the rest of the legislative session. On Feb. 27, the Department of Homeland Security will run out of money and partially shut down if Congress doesn't reauthorize its budget. But Senate Democrats are blocking the vote because Republicans tied the issue to funding DHS, the department tasked with discharging nObama's unconstitutional executive actions legalizing five million illegals -- or as the administration now calls them, "Americans-in-waiting." Three times Senate Majority Leader Mitch McCon-nell brought forward a bill to fund DHS but defund nObama's immigration policies. Three times Senate Democrats covered for their president, blocking even the consideration of the bill, in order to show how the GOP is frozen with infighting. If DHS is funded fully as Democrats want, then nObama continues his executive reign unchecked. If the GOP stands its ground, Democrats will score a political victory, as DHS would shut down and the Leftmedia talkingheads would skewer the GOP for it. nObama's plan was shrewd.  -The Patriot Post
HILLY STATE DEPARTMENT AUTHORIZED BUBBA’S SKETCHY   CHINA SPEECH
Politico: “Less than a year after Hilly Clinton became secretary of state, former President Bill Clinton asked the State Department to approve a paid, videotaped speech he was asked to make at a gala in Shanghai, sponsored by a Chinese sports foundation. Wealthy hedge fund manager Kai Jiang wanted to pay the former president an undisclosed amount through a charity fund set up by his wife, Crystal Huang, a Chinese TV and film star who regularly serves as fodder for the Chinese tabloids. But unlike hundreds of big-dollar Bill Clinton speeches that sailed through a State Department ethics approval process while Hilly Clinton served as America’s top diplomat, this one raised a note of caution that the Chinese government might actually be funding the speech or planning to profit from it.”

Early warning  - Bubba’s overseas buckraking raised eyebrows last summer, as reported by WashEx: “A joint investigation by the Washington Examiner and the nonprofit watchdog group Judicial Watch found that former President Clinton gave 215 speeches and earned $48 million while his wife presided over U.S. foreign policy, raising questions about whether the Clintons fulfilled ethics agreements related to the Clinton Foundation during Hilly Clinton’s tenure as secretary of state. …State Department officials charged with reviewing Bill Clinton's proposed speeches did not object to a single one.”
Famed Chinese dissident contradicts Hilly’s claimed heroism - The Telegraph: “Hilly Clinton’s account of one of her crowning moments as secretary of state has been flatly contradicted by a leading Chinese activist. Chen Guangcheng, a blind lawyer who escaped house arrest and caused an diplomatic crisis between China and the US by taking refuge in the American embassy in Beijing in 2012, accused the nObama administration and Hilly Clinton of “giving in” to Chinese negotiators.”  -Fox News

Hanoi Kerry defends Iran nuclear talks as dissidents claim proof of Tehran deception
Guy Taylor

(jewishworldreview.com) - Secretary of State Hanoi John F. Kerry defended the nObama administration's pursuit of a nuclear deal with Iran in the face of mounting bipartisan scrutiny from lawmakers Tuesday - even as an Iranian dissident group claimed to have fresh proof that Tehran has lied to world powers about its drive to obtain a nuclear weapon.

With Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu heading to Capitol Hill next week to argue against the deal, Mr. Hanoi Kerry told lawmakers not to judge the deal until it is completed.

"I caution people to wait and see what these negotiations produce," Mr. Hanoi Kerry said in response to news reports suggesting that the administration is close to a deal in which Iran would be allowed to increase its nuclear activities after a 10-year period of restrictions and inspection from outside powers.

"Anybody running around right now, jumping in to say, 'Well, we don't like the deal' doesn't know what the deal is. There is no deal yet," Mr. Hanoi Kerry told a Senate Appropriations subcommittee Tuesday morning during the first of two State Department budget hearings.

He told a subsequent Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing that the administration's policy is still to prevent Iran from developing a nuclear weapon but to do so diplomatically, in a way that avoids a military confrontation.

Mr. Hanoi Kerry's plea seemed to have little effect on critics, including some Democrats.

Sen. Robert Menendez of New Jersey, the ranking Democrat on the Foreign Relations Committee, told Mr. Hanoi Kerry that he was concerned about news "leaking from the negotiations" that Iran will be left with "a vast majority of its nuclear infrastructure" under the proposed deal.

Any deal that relieves Iran of Western sanctions while allowing it to "go from being a threshold to an actual nuclear weapons state is no deal at all," Mr. Menendez said.

Noting that the nObama administration suggested a 20-year pact with Tehran, Mr. Menendez said, "Now we're talking about a 10-year time frame - if it's true - and with relief in the five latter years of the 10 years. That's problematic."

Mr. Hanoi Kerry insisted that the administration and its negotiating partners - Britain, France, Germany, Russia and China - want a long-term deal under which Iran's pathways to a bomb are "closed off." Specifically, he said, inspections would prevent any weapons development activity at Iran's Natanz, Arak and Fordow nuclear facilities.

"Covert, of course, is the hardest," Mr. Hanoi Kerry said. "You need to have verification and intrusive inspection to be able to find covert" facilities.

Cheating accusations

While Mr. Hanoi Kerry spoke, an Iranian dissident group that exposed past Iranian nuclear deceptions was arguing that the problems with inspection and verification would remain - that Tehran hasn't come clean about its nuclear programs.

That Iran's government has been lying for years to United Nations nuclear inspectors, the National Coalition of Resistance of Iran asserted that scientists in the Islamic Republic have been running a secret uranium enrichment operation at a facility buried deep beneath the ground in the northeastern suburbs of Tehran since 2008.

The facility, known as "Lavizan-3," has been used for clandestine nuclear program research and development, as well as for enrichment with advanced IR-2m and IR-4 centrifuge machines, according to the resistance coalition.

Its claim was not immediately verifiable, and the dissident group has a controversial history in Washington. However, the group is thought to have deep sources inside Iran's nuclear community, and its members are credited with making game-changing revelations about Tehran's activities in the past.

The group said its latest claims were the result of a 10-year "detailed, risky and complex" intelligence gathering effort by members of the Mujahedin-e Khalq. The "MEK" is a main component of the coalition of resistance but has long drawn scrutiny in Washington because the State Department had listed it as a terrorist organization until 2012.

Although the MEK appears to be virulently opposed to the regime in Tehran, U.S. officials have said the group's terrorist listing was related to attacks its members carried out against U.S. interests in the Middle East decades ago.

The National Coalition of Resistance of Iran said Tuesday that MEK operatives have "highly placed sources within the Iranian regime as well as those involved in the nuclear weapons projects."

Iranian officials have long argued that their nuclear program is for purely peaceful and civilian purposes. The U.S. and its allies say Tehran has secretly tried to build a bomb in violation of orders from the U.N. Security Council, and Western powers for years have leveled economic sanctions and pursued a global embargo on Iranian oil.

The resistance coalition's accusations did not come up at either of Mr. Hanoi Kerry's congressional hearings Tuesday.

Apart from Iran, the hearings covered a range of issues facing the nObama administration's foreign policy, including the Islamic State, Afghanistan, Ukraine, Cuba and the president's $50.3 billion budget request for the State Department and USAID through next year.

One key difference from the last fiscal year budget request is a $3.5 billion line item for State Department efforts - separate from those of the Pentagon - to counter the Islamic State.

Mr. Hanoi Kerry took issue Tuesday with lawmakers who raised questions about the seriousness of the nObama administration's commitment to defeating the extremist group. "The president's goal is to degrade and destroy" the Islamic State forces, he said.

He defended comments from department spokeswoman Marie Harf citing the need for economic development and jobs for young people in the Middle East as part of the effort to combat terrorism.

"She never set out to say the solution is give them jobs," Mr. Hanoi Kerry said. "She talked about a much broader array of things we have to do. And if we can't have a serious conversation about this, without politicizing it on cable TV and making it a scoring point for one day, we're in trouble."

The End Justifies The Means

Gone are the days in which we once cherished the delicate balance between government authority and individual liberty.

Our Constitution, that once connected one generation to the next by restraining the excess of the present, is being erased.

The terms and conditions for governing that once held the same meaning under our Constitution in the past no longer applies to the present as both political parties are unwilling to respect or even defend the Constitution.

The President of the United States faces no opposition from either elected party in Congress as he imposes his vision of transforming our Republic. By relinquishing their power to check the President, Congress has thus become an enabler of their end while their constituents are forced to subsidize their own demise.

The President, having a mind disposed to adaptation according to political expedients that serve the contemporary policy agenda of his choosing, is acting akin to Machiavelli’s Prince knowing that the few who dare oppose him have no voice in Congress to address their appeals.

In The Prince, Machiavelli writes “Everybody sees what you appear to be, few feel what you are, and those few will not dare to oppose themselves to the many, who have the majesty of the state to defend them; and in the actions of men, and especially of princes, from which there is no appeal, the end justifies the means“.

The chilling meaning of this, as explained by John Wheeler of the Western Free Press, is that if  “a goal is ‘morally’ important enough , any method of achieving it is acceptable”.

When progressives like Obama say one thing then later, usually in the very next sentence, contradict what they previously said and conservatives sputter in disbelief, it becomes humorous.

Humorous in the notion that you actually believed what they said in the first place as if their expected to be held accountable for their statements.

“They don’t feel bound by what they said because it was just a means to an end and if the end changes or the means to that end changes, that’s just the way it is”, writes Wheeler.

Wheeler further explains that there is “no real ‘moral’ or ‘ethical’ quandary because the end is still the goal, so as long as that is achieved, how they achieve it is not relevant”.

As for Obama, morals, principles and ethics do not exist.

“The issue is never the issue”, writes David Horowitz of Front Page Mag, “the issue is always power – how to wring power out of the democratic process, how to turn the political process into an instrument of control, how to use that control to fundamentally transform the United States of America, which is exactly what Barack Obama has done”.

With the mindset of a prince, the President on Wednesday extolled the “morals” of his majesty while discussing opposition to his executive amnesty at an Immigration town hall meeting in Miami.

First, he issued a threat to Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers if they dare disobey his orders to not deport illegal immigrants he is protecting via his executive actions on amnesty that Andrew Hansen, a Texas Federal Judge, blocked last week.

Judge Hansen held that Obama’s program of Deferred Action for Parents of Americans and Lawful Permanent Residents (DAPA) is “actually affirmative action rather than inaction” because the program grants “legal presence to individuals Congress has deemed deportable or removable, as well as the ability to obtain Social Security numbers, work authorization permits, and the ability to travel.”

The Judge further went on to state that the Department of Homeland Security cannot “enact a program whereby it not only ignores the dictates of Congress, but actively acts to thwart them.”

Yet, a week later, responding to a question asked by Telemundo’s Jose Diaz-Balart regarding how the President will ensure his orders are followed, Obama stated “if somebody is working for ICE and there is a policy and they don’t follow the policy, there are going to be consequences to it”.

Obama then went on to dare Republicans to vote on whether or not his executive actions are legal.

“So in the short term, if Mr. McConnell, the leader of the Senate, and the Speaker of the House, John Boehner, want to have a vote on whether what I’m doing is legal or not, they can have that vote. I will veto that vote, because I’m absolutely confident that what we’re doing is the right thing to do.”

Knowing Republicans will not vote because the majority side with Obama’s executive actions on amnesty, the President stood defiant as he threatened “consequences” against officials who obeyed the federal judges’ ruling and the law.

Spoken in true dictatorial fashion, Obama further claimed that “What we’ve done is we’ve expanded my authorities under executive action and prosecutorial discretion”.

In the name of progress, the President concluded to a room full of illegal immigrants that, “We dream about the future. That’s what brings immigrants here, we’re future-oriented, we’re not past-oriented.”

These are the words of a despot, a tyrant, a prince, who flaunts his own expansion of authority unbound by “past-oriented” concepts such as the separation of powers.

The President now believes that he can outright threaten Border Patrol agents for not following his dictates that cynically demand the agents to ignore everything but Obama’s decrees.

To say that the President has come unhinged though, is naive for that solely focuses on the means and neglects to take into account the end. Obama is in control, make no mistake about it, and while critics argue over his means, the President is achieving his end.

In this instance, with regards to immigration, Obama is flooding our nation with illegal aliens in order to take away the power of the American electorate.

Using the means of prosecutorial discretion, executive action, and Presidential memorandum, Obama is slowly reshaping American politics.

By giving Social Security Numbers, work permits, and tens of thousands of dollars in back tax benefits to those who are here illegally, the President re-affirms the Marxist notion “from each according to his abilities, to each according to his needs”.

The end result of this will inevitably lead to socioeconomic class warfare within our country as American citizens are forced to literally subsidize their own demise in order to give illegal immigrants an opportunity at achieving their American Dream.

Today, as noted by Mark Levin, “America is no longer a Constitutional Republic or a Federal Republic” for “we live in an administrative state under a massive 4th branch of government that we have no influence on whatsoever”.

Obama isn’t just re-writing the Constitution, he is supplanting it by rejecting the very principles that led to its creation.

WSJ: “Gov. Scott Walker on Monday said news reporters had created ‘gotcha moments’ that are of little concern to most people and that he would seek to build a campaign that addresses issues important to ‘everyday Americans.’ ‘You’ve seen in the media a lot of talk over the last few days about these self-made, gotcha moments from the media,’ the Wisconsin Republican governor told a convention of religious broadcasters. ‘And they want to talk about things that I don’t think most Americans want to talk about. Our commitment is going forward, we’re going to talk about the things that matter to everyday Americans, and we’ll leave the nonsense to the media aside.’”  -Fox News

 NERDHERD TAKE NOTE

The American Enterprise Institute, the Brookings Institution, and the Center for American Progress released a new report today. “‘States of Change: The Demographic Evolution of the American Electorate, 1974–2060,’ includes detailed analyses on the nation as a whole and on every state… [and outlines] 10 broad trends from their findings that together suggest the scale of the transformation the country is living through and the scope of the challenges it will face in the future.. ‘We at AEI are proud to collaborate with the Center for American Progress and the Brookings Institution,’ said Arthur C. Brooks, president of AEI. ‘This research is crucial to understanding our national landscape and how demographics will change in the years to come. We’re excited to reveal the first-year results at our conference today and look forward to what the future of the project will bring.’”  -Fox News

 APIPE PACKED WITH SEA COWS

Terrestrial mammals aren’t the only ones feeling chilly during the deep freeze. Reuters reports that early today, about 20 manatees, aka sea cows, were rescued from a storm drain in Cape Canaveral, Fla. These creatures habitually flee the colder ocean waters in winter, and head inland to warmer canals, but this group must have taken a wrong turn. This is a rare mishap for the highly intelligent animal. Seems the frigid temperatures have made even the smartest creatures delirious.  -Fox News

Congress to Attempt to Override Keystone Veto
Yesterday, Barack nObama whipped out his Cross Townsend roller-ball pen and vetoed authorization of the Keystone XL pipeline. In his veto message, nObama wrote, "[B]ecause this act of Congress conflicts with established executive branch procedures and cuts short thorough consideration of issues that could bear on our national interest -- including our security, safety, and environment -- it has earned my veto." nObama vetoed Keystone for all the wrong reasons. First, he's arguing that Congress is infringing on the power of the executive branch -- ironic, considering nObama's recent politicking over immigration. Second, this veto is the pet crusade of ecofascists. It's clear nObama bent his ear to their lobbying efforts. Finally, a Keystone veto only means less security, as oil is shipped by rail to meet the demand. Freight trains derail. Oil gets spilled and boom: Environmental disaster. Now the bill is back in Congress, where Republican leadership will need to court Democrats to override nObama's veto. Already, four Democrat senators promised to vote with Republicans.  -The Patriot Post

 Justice for Chris Kyle
On Feb. 2, 2013, famed Navy SEAL Chris Kyle, a Patriot from Texas and author of the book "American Sniper" on which the movie of the same name is based, and his colleague Chad Littlefield were murdered in Texas. On Tuesday, a little over two years after the tragic slaying, a verdict was rendered. "It took an Erath County, Texas, jury less than two hours to convict Eddie Ray Routh of capital murder," Fox News reported. "State District Judge Jason Cashon sentenced Routh to life in prison without the possibility of parole." Routh pleaded not-guilty by reason of insanity, which proved unsuccessful. According to Fox, "[P]rosecutors said ... that whatever episodes Routh suffers are self-induced through alcohol and marijuana abuse." District Attorney Jane Starnes argued, "That is not insanity. That is just cold, calculated capital murder." In the end, the jury agreed, and Routh will now spend the rest of his life behind bars. There's no bringing back Chris Kyle, but there's at least some consolation knowing his murder won't go unpunished.  -The Patriot Post

DHS Box Canyon? What A Buncha Bums! Coulda Been Somebody!
(Written by Brew) - When dinky Harry Reid was Majority Leader he was able to block legislation and votes. Now that he's Minority Leader, he's only able to block legislation and votes. See the difference? Neither do I...The Democrats seem to control things either way. Why is that? Because they and the MSM have no scruples or honor, and the Republicans have no courage, spine, character, or core values. Oh sure, they pretend to have all of those things, but have none of them, with the exception of a very few. At least now, dinky Harry looks the part of Union mob boss, albeit after stumbling On The Waterfront. The Republicans coulda had class. They coulda been somebody, instead of a buncha bums, which is what they are. Let's face it. It was you, Mitch.  Let's Unfriend ISIS
(A.J. Caschetta) - As absurd as "unfriending" a terrorist organization sounds, the Obama administration's use of social media to counter what it euphemistically calls "violent extremism" has been equally feckless...On Jan. 7, White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest acknowledged "the need to counter some of the extremist ideology that ISIL is propagating, using some pretty sophisticated social media strategy." Five days later ISIS hacked Centcom's social media accounts. Sadly the U.S. has been slow to recognize the strategic importance of the Internet and social media in what has become known as the "theater of terror." Al-Qaeda spent the 1990s growing its capabilities and establishing new ways of communicating. On some of the earliest terrorist websites, Al-Qaeda told its followers "We must make the Internet our tool." By contrast, on 9/11 the inadequacy of the FBI's computer system became apparent.       http://www.meforum.org/5050/let-unfriend-isis

UN Climate Boss Resigns in Scandal, Says Mission Is “Religion”
(Alex Newman) - As if to confirm the widespread view among skeptics of man-made climate-change theories that global-warming alarmism is akin to a religious cult, United Nations “climate science” boss Rajendra K. Pachauri admitted in his resignation letter this week...that his crusade to purportedly save the planet from CO2 is more than just a mission — it is his “religion.” The chairman of the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) was forced to step down this week after 13 years on the job amid accusations and court proceedings surrounding alleged sexual harassment, stalking, and criminal intimidation of a female researcher.       http://www.thenewamerican.com/tech/environment/item/20195-un-climate-boss-resigns-in-scandal-says-mission-is-religion?utm_source=Newsletter&utm_campaign=f23ed9343a-The_Editors_Top_Picks_3_12_143_12_2014&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_8ca494f2d2-f23ed9343a-289778381

Rep Trey Gowdy – One Person Does Not Make Law In A Republic
(Rick Wells) - Rep Trey Gowdy (R-SC) has had enough of the lawless abuse of power being exhibiting and inflicted upon the American people by the outlaw currently occupying the White House...Rep Gowdy describes the illegal amnesty declaration of November as being “one of the largest extra-constitutional acts ever by a chief executive.” He notes that not only did nObama redefine prosecutorial discretion as a means of rewriting the law, but “he also conferred benefits on those same people.” Gowdy notes, “You may like the policy, you may wish the policy were the law, but one person does not make law in a republic. If you enjoy a single person making law you should investigate living in another country. Because our framers did not give us, nor have generations of our fellow citizens fought and served and sacrificed for a single person to make law in a unilateral way. So removing consequences for breaking the law is one thing. Bestowing benefits such as work authorization and immigration benefits is another.”       http://www.rickwells.us/rep-trey-gowdy-one-person-does-not-make-law-in-a-republic-prosecutorial-discretion-not-a-synonym-for-anarchy/

Ralph Peters Calls nObama ‘The Reincarnation of Pontius Pilate
(nicedeb) - On Fox News’ America’s Newsroom, Wednesday morning, Lt. Col Ralph Peters (Ret.) used biblical terms to describe the president’s wanton disregard for the ongoing slaughter of Christians that is ongoing in the Middle East...Describing the bloodletting as a holocaust, in which our president is doing nothing, Peters called nObama a reincarnation of Pontius Pilate washing his hands, but he said this blood is not coming off. Host Bill Hemmer wondered if ISIS was bent on genocide, “or is it land they want.” “They certainly would like land,” Peters replied. “But the immediate target are Christians, Jews, Yazidis, other minorities – but especially Christians because Christian civilization in that region predates Islam. It’s been there for 2,000 years. Bill the first 1000 years of Christianity, in the greater Middle East and North Africa – those were the cities where the saints – the theologians – there were far more Christians in the Middle East back then, than there were in Europe.”       https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5UzqgCjHpI4

I spent more than 20 years studying Islam. I hold a bachelor's degree in religious studies and I'm in the middle of my Master's degree in terrorism studies. I can tell you with confidence that ISIL speaks for Islam." (Rick Wells) - Pretty words mean nothing unless they are accompanied by similar, parallel action. The votes of sellout Senators, including some of the more notable former champions of the American people against amnesty...Ted Cruz, Mike Lee and David Vitter, as well newcomer Tom Cotton prove their words to be hollow and completely empty drivel. If we never hear another long-winded diatribe from Senator Cruz in which he preaches the value of standing for the Constitution and the rule of law it will be too soon. His actions and those of his fellow traitors to the citizens of this nation speak much louder than any of his squirm-inducing lectures. Only two patriots remain in the Senate, Jeff Sessions of Alabama and Jim Inhofe of Oklahoma. (Rick Wells) - Americans have a very serious problem on our hands and it threatens our very survival as a free nation. The communists in the White House don’t respect our laws, they don’t respect our nation and they fully intend to invalidate, destroy and replace our representative government...Clearly the Senate is lost as a governmental body of the people and with it is gone the ability of the American people to use the mechanism of impeachment to rid themselves of a despotic traitor who has usurped the office of president. Former British Army officer Hamish de Bretton-Gordon told The Mail on Sunday that the weapons remain dangerous, even though they are likely to be ten years old, and in a degraded state. CNN, DHS And SPLC’s Blame-Righty Hit Job
Michelle Malkin
lg_malkin
(freedomsback.com) - The Department of Homeland Security refuses to release a report on “right-wing” terrorism that somehow found its way into CNN’s hands last week during the farcical White House summit on Don’t Say Islamic Extremism.

Your tax dollars are once again hard at work — defaming conservatives, deflecting from worldwide murderous jihad and denying the public access to information they funded.

CNN splashed the big scoop on its website: “DHS intelligence report warns of domestic right-wing terror threat.” The fear-mongering piece featured a huge map of 24 alleged acts of “violence by sovereign citizen extremists since 2010.” CNN’s Evan Perez and Wes Bruer prominently quoted Mark Potok of the widely disgraced propaganda outfit the Southern Poverty Law Center. Potok claimed that “there are as many as 300,000 people involved in some way with sovereign citizen extremism.”

This is the same SPLC that was forced to apologize to famed neurosurgeon Dr. Ben Carson just last week for categorizing him as an “extremist” because he supports the traditional definition of marriage.

This is the same hate-instigating SPLC whose target map and list of social conservative groups were used by left-wing domestic terrorist Floyd Lee Corkins to shoot up the Washington, D.C., office of the Family Research Council in 2012.

This is the same SPLC whose explicit aim, according to Potok, is to “destroy” its political opponents and which admits it is “not really set up to cover the extreme left.” Harper’s Magazine’s Ken Silverstein called the SPLC and its work “essentially a fraud” that “shuts down debate, stifles free speech, and most of all, raises a pile of money, very little of which is used on behalf of poor people.”

None of these facts was mentioned in CNN’s report promoting the threat of “right-wing” terrorism. So you can see why I was curious to know more about the “24 violent sovereign citizen-related attacks” the cable network kept citing without specifics. I asked both CNN and DHS for a copy of the assessment. CNN’s Bruer brusquely told me on Twitter: “Not public doc. But not new that gov’t lists sov. citizens as terror threat.”

Sure, it’s “not new.” But CNN’s report was new (and conveniently timed to coincide with the White House agenda of talking about every other kind of terrorism besides jihad). I wanted to read the new document, not just what CNN and the SPLC want the public to know and think about it.

Liberal media outlets have a bad habit of purposely misclassifying terrorist incidents as “right-wing.” Last April, both CNN and MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow joined with the SPLC to foment fear of conservative Americans by claiming that “right-wingers” have killed 34 people since 9/11 for “political reasons,” while jihadists have killed 21.

But a closer look at the rigging of that phony factoid simply confirms the malevolent intention of so-called objective journalists and “hate watch” groups to marginalize conservative political speech and dissent. The CNN/MSNBC/SPLC smear job involved both the dishonest deflating of left-wing and jihadist incidents, and the dishonest inflating of “right-wing” incidents.

First, carving out the 3,000-person death toll from the 9/11 jihadist attacks is a rather convenient way to rig the scales, isn’t it? So is omitting the 10-person death toll from the jihad-inspired Beltway sniper spree of 2002.

The conservatives-are-worse-than-jihadists casualty data counted Holocaust Memorial Museum shooter James Von Brunn, who killed a heroic security guard, as a “right-winger.” But Von Brunn was neither “left” nor “right.” He was a rage-filled maniac and 9/11 truther who hated Fox News, the Weekly Standard and Rupert Murdoch.

Also counted as “right-wing” in the CNN/MSNBC/SPLC data: Andrew Joseph Stack. He’s the lunatic who flew a small plane into an Austin, Texas, office complex that contained an Internal Revenue Service office in 2010. Stack’s ranting suicide manifesto targeted George W. Bush, health care insurers, the pharmaceutical industry and the “capitalist creed.”

Also listed as “right-wing:” Richard Andrew Poplawski. He was the disgruntled, unemployed loser who shot and killed three Pittsburgh police officers in a horrifying bloodbath in 2009. Left-wing publications asserted that the “heated, apocalyptic rhetoric of the anti-nObama forces,” along with Fox News and Glenn Beck, motivated Poplawski to slay the officers. But Poplawski was a dropout from the Marines who threw a food tray at a drill instructor, had beaten his girlfriend, and demonstrated violent, racist tendencies that had nothing to do with politics. Poplawski was outraged that his mother wanted to kick his unemployed ass out of the house.

Joshua Cartwright, another serial woman abuser, also murdered two police officers in the aftermath of a domestic violence call. Left-wing operatives focused on a single remark from Cartwright’s victim about his views on President nObama to paint him as a “right-wing radical,” whitewashing his long history of violence against his partner and senseless paranoia.

Were any of these falsely classified incidents included in the DHS assessment hyped by CNN and SPLC last week? We’ll never know. When I asked DHS public affairs officer S.Y. Lee for the document, he told me it’s “not for public release” because it’s “an FOUO document (for official use only). Same as many DHS products to law enforcement.” I asked whether CNN now qualifies as “law enforcement.”

No response.

How to cook 320,000,000 Frogs...

Take a very large pot - Continental sized - and place all of your Frogs in the pot. Make certain the "water" is the temperature the Frogs like.. remind them at every opportunity the "water" is not like the previous "pot" they were in...

Make certain there are "leader" Frogs in the pot who love you and are willing to do and say anything you want them to do and say (even if it's not in their own best interest). This is to calm all of the Frogs in the pot who might realize all is not well and accept this new "pot" they are in.

Make them love you, considering you their "savior" from rescuing them from the previous "pot" they were in.

Add ingredients some of the Frogs like... give them expensive cell phones, food, free rent, Internet, cars - also make sure to tell the Frogs at every opportunity; we are safer than every before, all is well, the bad guys are on the run, there is nothing to worry about - and if they like their Doctor and Medical Insurance, they can keep their Doctor and Medical insurance.

Then start to turn up the heat - slowly...

Before they know it, the temperature has sapped the strength of the Frogs and they can no longer jump out of the pot - and you can now turn the heat up to boiling temperature, providing you with 320,000,000 cooked Frogs.

Sure - it takes time to cook Frogs this way (6-7 years), but you don't want to waste any of these Frogs - you want all of them cooked to perfection!

Ask yourself what this pot is and ask yourself who the Frogs are. Identify for yourself the "leader" Frogs.

Then you might take a long hard look at what's been going on in our Nation the past 6 years and realize WE are the Frogs and treason is being committed in our Nation at the highest levels of our "government".

If Americans do not act now - soon, the "pot" will be boiling and we will be cooked.

Boehner Bids for Time in Immigration Fight With Obama

There are only hours left until the clock strikes midnight and the Department of Homeland Security runs out of funding. While Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell seemingly kissed up to the filibustering Democrat minority, passing a clean DHS funding bill that gives the department money to fund Barack Obama’s immigration executive actions, House Speaker John Boehner is not so compromising. When a reporter asked Thursday if Boehner would propose a clean DHS funding bill, he blew defiant kisses in reply. At the same press conference, Boehner said, “We passed a bill to fund the department six weeks ago. Six weeks ago! It’s time for the Senate to act. How many times do I have to say it?” So as a counteroffer, Boehner introduced a continuing resolution that would simply fund DHS for three weeks. While it buys the GOP more time, a defiant president waits at the end of the legislative process. Obama recently said if congressional Republicans “want to have a vote on whether what I’m doing is legal or not, they can have that vote. I will veto that vote.” Lawmakers, he says, don’t have the power to make laws.

Here Comes ‘Net Neutrality’

As expected, the Federal Communications Commission on Thursday approved so-called net neutrality rules. Fox News reports, “[T]he rules, more broadly, would put the Internet in the same regulatory camp as the telephone by classifying it like a public utility, meaning providers like Comcast or Verizon would have to act in the ‘public interest’ when providing [an Internet] connection to your home or phone. Republican Commissioner Ajit Pai, who delivered some of the most scathing criticism of the plan Thursday, warned the policy represents a ‘monumental shift’ to ‘government control of the Internet.’” Pai also criticized FCC Chairman Tom Wheeler for his secrecy and the length of the “332-page Internet regulation plan.” According to FCC counsel Gigi Sohn, however, only eight of those pages contain actual regulation – the rest is supporting documentation. Clearly this is not a black-and-white subject, and the jury is still out on whether the FCC’s ruling will do more good than harm, but that’s mostly because it doesn’t go to the crux of the problem, which is lack of competition. The FCC’s action won’t create more of it. Indeed, it’s not at all clear it will usher in a neutral net. What is clear, however, is that the greatest invention since Gutenberg’s printing press will now be regulated by a bureaucracy that still struggles to build a functioning website. More…

And the GOP Presidential Primaries Begin

It’s CPAC time, baby! Yesterday, the Republican Party’s presidential hopefuls addressed the 10,000 grassroots conservatives gathered at the Conservative Political Action Conference, hoping to drum up support in what The Wall Street Journal calls one of the most populated primary contests in recent history. After eight years of Barack Obama, the GOP needs to decide how the party will grow. Some highlights: Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker told the audience, “In America we celebrate our independence from the government, not our dependence on it.” Sen.Ted Cruz warned establishment Republicans are “cutting a deal” with the Left on Immigration. Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal blasted the constitution-breaking president, saying, “It is time for our Republican leaders in Congress to grow a spine” to confront him. It’s all tough talk aimed at tickling the ears of the defenders of Liberty who live far-removed from the Beltway. But in the end, when the temporary tattoos wash away, the NRA rifle is raffled off and everybody goes home, what matters is how these politicians did or did not defend Liberty in the positions they now occupy. More…

Walker Doesn’t Care What the Media Thinks

In an op-ed for USA Today, Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker responded indirectly to the grilling he received over Rudy Giuliani’s recent comments about Barack Obama’s patriotism. “Americans believe our nation is facing some substantial challenges,” Walker wrote. “Government spending is out of control. Terrorists seek to destroy our way of life. Our economic recovery has been slow. Our borders aren’t secure. The federal government has usurped powers that rightly belong to our states.” In other words, these issues are the serious ones. He concluded, “There has been much discussion about a media double standard where Republicans are covered differently than Democrats, asked to weigh in on issues the Democrats don’t face. As a result, when we refuse to take the media’s bait, we suffer. I felt it this week when I was asked to weigh in on what other people said and did and what others' beliefs are. If you are looking for answers to those questions, ask those people. I will always choose to focus on what matters to the American people, not what matters to the media.” That approach is just one reason why Ronald Reagan was so successful.

Emily Miller Only One of 16 DC Residents Okayed for a Gun Permit

Journalist Emily Miller’s journey to navigate the snarls of the District of Columbia’s gun lawsbegan in 2011, when she inadvertently came face-to-face with a criminal while armed with only her cell phone. Her quest for a handgun in the nation’s most anti-gun city is nearing its conclusion as she was recently approved for a permit to carry in the city. But even after the Heller decision, the process is insurmountably high for citizens to exercise their right to bear arms because citizens have to demonstrate they have a reason (the Constitution evidently isn’t sufficient) to convince the police to okay their firearm permit. “I got the police reports from two different threats against me, as well as an FBI warning that a terror group is targeting journalists,”Miller wrote. “I turned in my application at the end of November. … I didn’t hear anything until early February. … Keep in mind, any American can apply for a D.C. gun permit. But so far, only 76 have done so. Thirty-one were denied. Five cancelled their own applications. And 16 were approved.” This is what the Second Amendment looks like under a mayor who declared she hates guns. While she swore to “protect the Constitution and what the courts say,” she promises to do the opposite: “I will do it in the most restrictive way as possible.”

The New York Times has the scoop of the month: “The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives said this month that it planned to restrict the armor-piercing 5.56-millimeter ‘M855 green tip’ rifle bullet because of new handguns that use the ammunition and pose a greater threat to the police.”

Oh, wait. We covered that critical Second Amendment issue almost two weeks ago. The New York Times: All the news that’s fit to get around to eventually.

The Islamic Threat – It’s Already Here

2015-02-27-f1a6c94d.jpg

There are varying opinions about the threat the Islamic State poses in the Middle East and Europe, and apparently there is no consensus about the coinciding Islamic threat against U.S. domestic targets.

That confusion was on full display from the White House to Capitol Hill this week.

After three Islamists were arrested in New York for plotting to either join 20,000 other foreigners now among ISIL’s ranks, or turn their sites on domestic targets, FBI Director James Comeywarned, “We have investigations of people in various stages of radicalization in all 50 states. … This isn’t a New York phenomenon or a Washington phenomenon, this is all 50 states. … [Radicalization prospects] exist in every state. I have homegrown violent extremist investigations in every single state.”

Apparently, the primary domestic terrorists threat is not “right wing,” as errantly asserted by DHS on the heels of Barack Obama’s faux Summit on Countering Violent Extremism.

That notwithstanding, after a very bloody year, John Kerry had this to say in congressional testimony: “Our citizens, our world today is actually, despite ISIL, despite the visible killings that you see and how horrific they are, we are actually living in a period of less daily threat to Americans and to people in the world. … We are actually living in a period of less daily threat to Americans and people in the world – less deaths, less violent deaths today – than through the last century.”

Kerry took a break from more important business like announcing the first-ever Special Envoy for the Human Rights of Lesbian, Gay, Bi-Sexual and Transgender Persons, to spin Obama’sblinding Islamophilia on the Islamic threat.

A day after Kerry’s testimony, Director of National Intelligence James Clapper demolished the Obama/Kerry’s assessment, and set the record straight: “When the final accounting is done, 2014 will have been the most lethal year for global terrorism in the 45 years such data has been compiled. … In my 50-plus years in the intelligence business, I don’t know of a time that has been more beset by challenges and crises around the world. I worry a lot about the safety and security of this country. … The homegrown a violent extremists continue to post the most likely threat to our homeland.”

Former Defense Intelligence Agency Director Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, who was already on record chastising Obama’s Islamic blind spot, also buried Kerry’s assessment: “Secretary Kerry is out of touch with reality. He clearly is not listening to the entire U.S. intelligence community. He is not reading any of the intelligence or other things that have been written over the last few weeks – months – years.”

It is abundantly clear that Obama’s assessment of ISIL as the “JV team,” and his assertion that concern about terrorism is the result of “media hype” and not actual threats, has no basis in reality.

National Journal’s left-of-center Ron Fournier admits, “What worries me is, I think we’re going to get hit. [Islamists are] going to hit us… The problem is these semantic gymnastics, this lack of clarity, the dithering … is going to make it hard for [Obama] to unite more than his base. … [Obama] is either spinning and looking week … or he’s not spinning and he is weak. That’s a devil’s choice.”

But [Charles Krauthammer concludes](http://patriotpost.us/posts/335080, “I don’t actually think the president’s spinning it. I think he truly believes that this is a tranquil era. … I think he’s internally placid about all of this. … I think we really have a president who believes that stuff and it’s not spin and that, I think, is worse.”

Meanwhile, ISIL’s rampage continues apace. The terrorist group this week abducted at least 220, but some estimates say as many as 400, Christians. Fifteen have reportedly been killed. Following last week’s massacre of 21 Coptic Christians in Libya, ISIL’s attacks on Christians and all nonbelievers are clearly accelerating. Obama just thinks they’re just angry about the Crusades.

As for the domestic terrorist threat, while the media refers to these deadly assaults as “lone wolf attacks” and a “homegrown Western threat,” these are dangerous mischaracterizations. All these actors, whether domestic or foreign, are part of an ideological Islamist web that is metastasizing globally.

Obama’s appeasement of Islamists has resulted in the bloodiest year of terrorism on record. And as Mark Alexander notes, “[R]egarding Obama’s attempt to pivot from the threat of a global Jihad caliphate to ‘climate change,’ I assure you that the real "global warming” threat we face today is an apocalyptic trigger on an evermore accessible fission weapon that can be detonated in an American urban center.“

Trying to Reverse a Homeownership Slide

2015-02-27-3dfb55d4.jpg

Earlier this week the Census Bureau released more bad news for the current regime: The rate of homeownership has fallen to a 20-year low, continuing a slide that began at the apex of the housing market in 2004. Ten years ago, 69% of Americans owned homes, but that has fallen to 64.5% in 2014. As Joe Biden keeps telling us, Barack Obama’s economy is terrible: "The middle class is being killed.”

Unfortunately, the economic conditions that led to the dramatic increase in the decade from 1994 to 2004 can’t be duplicated today. What was once an era of steady, mainly full-time employment and ample economic growth has now stagnated to a point where those most likely to enter the housing market and become owners are saddled with part-time gigs and staggering student loan debt. Meanwhile, older generations have been struggling with issues of their own, as the equity they once possessed in their homes has long since been wiped out, leaving some unable to keep the dwellings they once owned.

After the housing bubble a decade ago led to the economic devastation of 2008, it would make sense to tighten the housing market and have banks ensure that borrowers are more qualified. But recent steps by Barack Obama’s Federal Housing Administration indicate the desire to return to the reckless practices that wrecked our economy in the first place.

Granted, a simple change in lending fees may not be all that significant, but further guidance in the direction of easing credit is likely. Greater demand for housing will bring prices back up, which in turn will reduce the number of homeowners who are “under water” with their mortgages. But since the federal government guarantees much of the mortgage industry, those who are just starting out will again be lured by easy mortgage money. Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac now have a lot of recent experience flipping homes from borrowers who defaulted.

In short, the seemingly laudable goal of encouraging homeownership could lead us down a path we already saw isn’t desirable. As the wise old financial guru Yogi Berra used to say, “It’s déjà vu all over again.”

OPINION IN BRIEF

General Dwight D. Eisenhower (1890-1969): “[The Founders] proclaimed to all the world the revolutionary doctrine of the divine rights of the common man. That doctrine has ever since been the heart of the American faith.”

Columnist Charles Krauthammer: “The news from the nuclear talks with Iran was already troubling. Iran was being granted the ‘right to enrich.’ … Then it got worse: News leaked Monday of the ‘sunset clause.’ President Obama had accepted the Iranian demand that any restrictions on its program be time-limited. … Meanwhile, Iran’s intercontinental ballistic missile program is subject to no restrictions at all. It’s not even part of these negotiations. Why is Iran building them? You don’t build ICBMs in order to deliver sticks of dynamite. Their only purpose is to carry nuclear warheads. Nor does Iran need an ICBM to hit Riyadh or Tel Aviv. Intercontinental missiles are for reaching, well, other continents. North America, for example. … Consider where we began: six U.N. Security Council resolutions demanding an end to Iranian enrichment. Consider what we are now offering: an interim arrangement ending with a sunset clause that allows the mullahs a robust, industrial-strength, internationally sanctioned nuclear program. Such a deal makes the Cuba normalization look good and the Ukrainian cease-fires positively brilliant. We are on the cusp of an epic capitulation. History will not be kind.”

Columnist David Harsanyi: “The Obama administration values a future relationship with Iran more than it values the historic relationship it has with Israel. … First, Americans were supposed to be outraged because Netanyahu engaged in a breach of protocol. Then we were supposed to be outraged because the speech would be given too close to the upcoming Israeli elections. … But if the Israeli elections … are so problematic, then the controversy should be centered on the behavior of the prime minister, not the substance of his argument. That’s not the case, is it? … [T]he problem isn’t protocol, Israeli elections, patriotism or partisanship. It’s the fact that Netanyahu is going to make a powerful argument against enabling Iran to become a nuclear power. Many Americans will hear it – or of it. Many Americans will agree. … Critics of Netanyahu act as if opposing Obama’s Iranian deal is tantamount to declaring war on Iran. In the long run, allowing Iran to become nuclear might well mean war. … Surely, hearing out the case of an ally that is persistently threatened by Holocaust-denying Iranian officials doesn’t need to come with this much angst from Democrats. But if it does, it’s worth asking why.”

There is much wrong in our "government" and while people like Speaker Boehner "litigate" these issues..... You might care to re-read your Constitution to discover there is no grounds or authority in the Constitution for Congress to "litigate" issues.... It's a ruse, a delaying tactic and Americans are buying into it by the millions.

Congress has specific powers and authority the Speaker stated last year he refused to use. The power of arrest and the power of the purse.
You will note he has used neither..... despite actually holding someone in Contempt of Congress!
(ask yourself what would happen to you if YOU were held in Contempt of Court)

What many Americans do not understand is that the "House Committee on unAmerican Activities" from 70 years ago continues to exist today.
It is not staffed, it is not funded, nor is not Chaired - but on paper, it continues to exist under the House Judicial Committee Chaired by Congressman Goodlatte.

Speaker Boehner - after getting hammered many times last year finally came out and said "we aren't going to do what we did 70 years ago" - meaning he has no intentions of resurrecting the Committee - or arresting anyone.

I propose a tactic the Speaker categorically will. not. like.
I propose we do everything in our power to attempt to make this post go viral, sharing it as widely as it can go - urging the readers to contact the Speaker demanding he resurrect the Committee and turn them loose.

While I completely agree with many Congressional members, what the Committee devolved into 70 years ago was unnecessary - if ever there were a time in the History of this Nation when that Committee IS needed - that time is NOW.

I pose a question to ask yourself: If we are a "Nation of Laws", how can we be a "Nation of Laws" if the Laws of the Land are not followed BY EVERYONE?

Please contact the Speaker and demand he resurrect the Committee and start arresting those who have corrupted our government and are actively attempting to destroy our Nation. Regardless who they are or what position they hold - to include mr obama. Be polite, be professional, do not use crude words - but be VERY firm.

We may not retain freedom of speech much longer and if we wait, it might be too late.

Hangover for Hilly –   What does Hilly Clinton think about the pipeline project?  She was seemingly for it before she went silent. In 2012, as her boss buoyed the green base with a further delay, one pipeline opponent observed: “She doubtless figures four years is a long time, and – even though it’s the one environmental issue in decades that’s brought big crowds of environmentalists into the streets – that voters will forget her stance on the pipeline.” But those years have come and gone and the issue is still alive, thanks to the president’s obduracy. Given the support the Clinton Foundation has reportedly received from Keystone proponents, greenies will demand answers from the presumptive Democratic nominee.
That was then - “We’ve not yet signed off on it. But we are inclined to do so…” –Hilly Clinton in a 2010 speech.
This is now - “We have differences and you won't get me to talk about Keystone because I have steadily made clear that I'm not going to express an opinion. It is in our process and that’s where it belongs.” –Hilly Clinton to an audience in Canada on January, 21 2015.

HILLY RE-EMERGES FOR EVENT WITH CORPORATE BACKERS
After not appearing before an American audience in more than two months and with questions swirling about foreign donations to her family foundation, presumptive Democratic nominee Hilly Clinton is back on the speaking circuit today. She’s on stage for a Silicon Valley gig touting the gender equality policies of some of her most influential corporate patrons. McClatchy: “Clinton will serve as the keynote speaker [today] at a conference sponsored by a series of major companies that have donated to her political campaigns or her family’s foundation, helped pay her hefty speaking fees at other events and lobbied her when she served as secretary of state. Some of their employees have been involved in her campaigns or initiatives at the Bill, Hilly and Chelsea Clinton Foundation. Many have multiple ties to the Clintons.

“Cisco, a California networking-equipment company, donated thousands of dollars to Clinton through its political action committee, and its general counsel served as a bundler and a policy adviser for her 2008 presidential campaign. Ericsson, a Swedish communications company, donated between $50,000 and $100,000 to the foundation, and its president participated in a group discussion at the related Clinton Global Initiative annual meeting last year. Morgan Stanley, a New York investment firm that’s Clinton’s sixth largest donor, spent at least $14 million lobbying the federal government, including the State Department, during her term on issues related to China, India and currency-exchange oversight, according to public records.”
[WaPo: “For Clinton, the Bay Area represents perhaps her biggest opportunity to expand her fundraising base from 2008, when she raised $6.2 million from the affluent counties of San Francisco, Santa Clara and San Mateo, according to campaign finance data compiled by the Center for Responsive Politics. nObama brought in $9.8 million from donors in those counties during the same time period.”]  -Fox News

Campaign motif will be gender war –   National Journal: “Already, recent words and actions hint at the ways [Hilly Clinton will] bring gender into the 2016 campaign—by talking about issues like pay equity, affordable child care, and paid family leave, referencing her past work for women and children, and gushing about her new granddaughter. That soft approach will be coupled with a sharp-edged assault by supporting organizations outside of her camp. Some of them, including the abortion-rights group EMILY's List and the Democratic National Committee, have begun playing offense against the Republican field, painting many of the 2016 GOP hopefuls as anti-woman.”  -Fox News

‘GETTING TO YES’ ON IRAN NUKES…
“As more and more details are starting to leak out about a possible U.S.-Iran nuclear deal, an increasing number of U.S. allies appear to be getting very nervous. Israelis, for obvious reasons, are the most concerned. So much so that the conventional wisdom that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu would see serious political backlash for speaking to the U.S. Congress about Iran without a White House blessing is being turned around completely. Some Israeli pundits and commentators even called for Netanyahu’s opponent in the upcoming election, Isaac Herzog, to stand alongside the prime minster when he addresses Congress. Herzog declined, but the conversation itself is a sign of the shifting Israeli politics on the issue.

The structure of the deal is being dramatically reframed by the nObama administration. As Bloomberg reports, gone is the idea of a grand bargain that would empower moderates and lead to lasting change in Iran’s leadership. This now appears to be just a temporary arms deal that could leave Iran at the brink of having nuclear weapon. That prospect looks different, though, after reading this piece from the Weekly Standard that lays out details of the funding of Al Qaeda operations. It is no wonder that Israel and Gulf State nations are worried. In a remarkable switch, these allies seem to be hoping for the ayatollah in Tehran to have a change of heart and turn the deal down. Because at this point, it seems the nObama administration is trying extremely hard to – in the president’s words – ‘get to yes.’”  - Bret Baier-Fox News

WITH YOUR SECOND CUP OF COFFEE...Chilies
The Atlantic examines the phenomenon of how the body registers effects of capsaicin, the active chemical in chilies that causes the burning sensation through a pain receptor, TRPV1. Receptors are found throughout the body, researcher John Hayes, said, and “This is why when you chop chilies, and then rub your eyes, or use the bathroom, without washing your hands, you are in for a world of hurt.” Though it feels like a burn, there isn’t an actual burn occurring, but rather a chemical evolution, “The chili pepper evolved a chemical that fits into that molecular receptor [TRPV1] and lowers the activation energy from 43 [degrees] Celsius to about 34 [degrees] Celsius,” he said. Hayes and fellow researcher Nadia Byrnes, both agree that it is possible to increase tolerance through repeated exposures, particularly at young ages. “Basically, if you don’t like something, the more you eat of it, the more you’ll like it,” Byrnes said.  -Fox News

Hanoi John Kerry – Sure There’s A Risk In Giving In To Iran
(Rick Wells) - Secretary of State Hanoi John Kerry, in testimony Tuesday before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, described the nuclear negotiations with Iran as sort of a crap shoot, and a chance that they, as is the case with every gambler, are willing to take...You never know what might happen. We could get lucky; Iran might decide to play nice. They might all convert to Christianity too, but Hanoi Kerry shouldn’t base his negotiations upon either taking place any time soon. Hanoi Kerry said, “The fact is that on Iran, sure, it’s controversial and it may have some risks.” Controversial? May have some risks? Those comments are surely in the running for the political understatement of the year. Insane, foolhardy and an invitation to a catastrophic apocalyptic confrontation might have been better choices forwords to describe the suicide pact he is negotiating on our behalf with the terrorist nation.       http://www.rickwells.us/john-kerry-sure-theres-a-risk-in-giving-in-to-iran-but-theyre-gamblers-and-its-only-nuclear-war/

Jordan furious over Pentagon leak of secret anti-ISIS training camp
(Robert Spencer) - “Either the official made a mistake or is deliberately leaking information to put the administration’s plans for Syria in a better light in an attempt to defuse criticism that the administration has bungled efforts to aid Syrian rebels”...in other words, playing politics yet again instead of dealing with the jihad threat in any adequate manner. The Pentagon let slip that one of its training camps to help fight Islamic State terrorists is in Jordan — information the pro-U.S. kingdom had specifically requested be kept private, and the latest gaffe in a series of sensitive leaks coming out of the Department of Defense. In order to hide its flub, which was first announced to reporters during a briefing last week, the Pentagon has scrubbed its public transcripts of any mention of the training camp.       http://www.jihadwatch.org/2015/02/jordan-furious-over-pentagon-leak-on-secret-anti-islamic-state-training-camp?utm_source=Jihad+Watch+Daily+Digest&utm_campaign=fec0c10cc5-Daily_Digest&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_ffcbf57bbb-fec0c10cc5-123451509

A simple cure for nObamacare: Freedom
(Phil Gramm) - On March 4 the Supreme Court will hear oral arguments in King v. Burwell, with a decision expected in late June. If the court strikes down the payment of government subsidies to those who bought health insurance on the federal exchange...Republicans will at last have a real opportunity to amend nObamaCare. Doing so, however, will be politically perilous. The language of the Affordable Care Act states that subsidies should only be paid through state exchanges. The bill’s authors perhaps believed that pressure from citizens and the health-care providers who would benefit would entice states to set up exchanges. But, faced with mounting technical problems in setting up the exchanges, the nObama administration decided—legally or illegally—to allow subsidies to be paid through a federally run exchange. Therefore, political pressure that might have convinced states to set up exchanges never developed.

 Averting the disability-insurance meltdown
(Andrew G. Biggs) - Sometime next year Social Security’s $150 billion disability-insurance program will become insolvent...The program, which offers income supplements to those who cannot work full time due to physical or mental disabilities, has buckled as the number of beneficiaries has soared to more than 11 million in 2014, from 3.8 million in 1984. The bipartisan Social Security Advisory Board has urged reforms. Yet the nObama administration’s 2016 budget proposes the opposite of reform: an unconditional transfer of revenues from Social Security’s retirement program. The president’s proposal will likely be blocked thanks to a House budget rule that forbids unconditional revenue transfers.  New York City Lays Out Limits on Restraints And Suspensions
(Annie Waldman) - New York City educators will face new restrictions on handcuffing students or suspending them from school, as part of regulations proposed earlier this month by the city’s education department...If the proposals are adopted as expected, schools will also have to begin tracking the number of times students are tied down or otherwise restrained. Last year, an investigation by ProPublica and NPR showed that restraints are frequently used in schools across the country. Hundreds of students are injured each year. Our reporting also found that many of the nation’s largest school districts, including New York City, do not report the number of restraints to authorities despite being required to do so by the federal government. Los Angeles and Chicago, the country’s second and third largest school districts, also reported zero restraints.       http://www.propublica.org/article/new-york-city-lays-out-limits-on-restraints-and-suspensions?utm_source=et&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=dailynewsletter&utm_content=&utm_name=

The End of Freedom in America

AA%2B-%2BNet%2BNeutrality%2Bis%2Ba%2BLie.jpg
(factsnotfantasy.blogspot.com) - The America that has existed from the days of the Declaration of Independence in 1776, when its sovereignty was acknowledged by a treaty with England 1783, and its founding in 1788 with the ratification of the Constitution is no more.

Dem%2BParty%2Bis%2BCommunist.jpg
‘We respectfully request that FCC leadership immediately release the 332-page Internet regulation plan publicly and allow the American people a reasonable period of not less than 30 days to carefully study it.’”

AA%2B-%2BClosed%2BInternet%2BAhead.jpg

Washington Hypocrisy has not limits

By: Juan Reynoso, WTP Activist  -  voteforamerica@gmail.com

Americas must realize that self-scrutiny is not treason. Self-examination is not disloyalty.

We seek the truth and let the people know. Truth and knowledge diffused among the people are necessary for the preservation of our Democracy, rights, freedom and liberties. http://themoneygps.com/

Fellow Americans, Washington Hypocrisy has not limits, our government is dominated by a culture of corruption, their credibility and integrity is none. For years they are working on the integration of the USA, Mexico and Canada to form the NAU, while they are opposing to an immigration reform. You be the judge and question the motives of the oligarchy that rule the USA. To this date we learned that the only winners of NAFTA are the Multinational corporations the rich and powerful of these countries are the ones that benefit at the expenses of the Middleclass and the poor of the NAFTA members. The same took place in the EU; in fact what is taken place is an organization of economic blocks to control the world economy and exploit the natural resources and human capital without any barriers, erasing the sovereignty and constitution of the countries members of the NAU give the multinational corporations the rights to exploit the people and their land without any interference and make laws that will benefit them and not the people.
