To whom it may concern:

After hearing about the Lois Lerner hearings and the statement by Rep. Paul Ryan, I wanted to make contact with your group to express my concern.

After the hearing was closed Rep. Cummings went on a tirade which was out of order, and in my opinion a false display of anger to turn the attention away from Ms. Lerner.
This was done to turn media attention away from the real issue and to place the charge of Racism into peoples minds. Mr. Cummings and the Congressional Black Caucus should be ashamed of such blatant activity. It serves no purpose and makes mockery out of the leaders in the CBC.
The real issue is a woman who refuses to tell the truth.

The CBC has some serious issues when it comes to credibility. You need to think before you speak, and when you do finally open your mouths please make sure that you investigate the truth of the issues, and get your facts straight.

Mr. Ryan also spoke the truth when he addressed the problem of Black men taking their rightful place in the family and community.
As an organization that represents Black families you should be standing with anyone that stands up and speaks up against laziness and cheating our government programs.

Blacks are in the current situation because of the people who claim to lead them, and because of those who have placed programs for them to use that hurt more than help them.

It is time for us to teach individual responsibility, and accountability to the Black community. The excuse that someone is holding us down has long ago become a lame one.

I urge you to work to provide real solutions. We need to encourage our people to succeed.

Please quit bickering and pointing fingers and wake up. We have a golden opportunity to work together as one America so that we can continue to prosper together.

Blacks need the message of hope and encouragement, not doom and gloom. Also, the old line that everyone that is trying to help them prosper in a way that made this nation great are Racist's is just plain false.

Sincerely;

Where Are We Headed?

What is the direction that America is taking?   Have we lost our sense of direction? Is it too late to restore our Constitutional values and our Founding Principles?

These are serious questions that should concern every American citizen.  Our future as a free nation may very well be at stake, and most citizens don't even have a clue that our nation is hanging on by a thread.

We are financially strapped, morally bankrupt, and unemployment and our healthcare system is in a shambles.  These are just the tip of our runaway iceberg.

It is time for Americans to come together to rethink the American Dream.  It is time to put America first and to rekindle the fire of freedom and liberty.  America is the last bastion of hope for the world.  If we fail now all hope for future freedom will be lost.

Wake up my fellow Americans and rise to the challenge.

A Forgotten Role In The Indiana Senate Primary Race

THE FORGOTTON ROLE IN THE INDIANA SENATE PRIMARY BATTLE

It was a Chilly Saturday in January 2011 in Tipton County. A group of about 200 Tea Party Movement people met in a church building at the request of Hoosiers for a Conservative Senate, a meeting that was the brainchild of Monica Boyer, and Greg Fetting. The meeting was to decide if they could come together on selecting a candidate to run against Indiana Senator Richard Lugar in the 2012 Primary election. This would hail to be one of many meeting that would lead up to the victory of their chosen candidate Indiana State Treasurer Richard Mourdock.
In the audience was “a lone Black man” according to the media. The media went on to say that this lone Black man had been chosen by and called up to the front by Radio Talk show host Pat Miller to lead The Pledge of Allegiance. [1]The media also made it seem like the Tea party groups that had gathered together were somehow exclusive of minorities.

This would turn out to be an historic event as the groups decided to move forward, organize, and place their support behind one candidate.
The meeting resulted in many weeks, and months of hard work for the Tea Party Movement in Indiana working with each other and the Republican voters and party.
The name that came to the forefront during this time frame was that of Rich Mourdock. A few months later the groups would meet again in Greenfield, Indiana; for a straw poll to choose between Mourdock and Lugar as the dominate candidate. Mourdock won. A rally was held after the event and I was one of the speakers.
A year or so earlier I had the pleasure of meeting with Richard Mourdock, and appearing on several stages with him as a speaker. I also had the pleasure of sitting down with him for a luncheon and spending time with him at his office in the Indiana State office Building.

During this time most of the people in northern Indiana were not familiar with Mr. Mourdock.
I decided that it was time for them to meet him and for me to actively work to help spread the word that in Richard Mourdock we had a man that would make a great Indiana Senator. So I began to speak about him wherever I went and asked local Tea Party groups to invite him as a guest. Some accepted the invitation, but many were skeptical.

A short time later Mourdock began to investigate his options and finally came to the decision that he would run for the seat currently held by Mr. Lugar. The battle began, and it was now time to introduce Mr. Mourdock to Indiana. Mourdock then spent countless hours marching in parades and meeting people at county fairs and events. I had the pleasure of attending several with him and for him.
I spent many hours writing emails, traveling to cities and major events around central, NW and NE Indiana introducing Mr. Mourdock and talking about him to my fellow Hoosiers. I also had the honor of appearing in one of his ads. I had been asked to do more, but schedule conflicts prevented me from doing do.[2]

Over the course of the next eighteen months or so Hoosiers worked together and worked hard to show support for our candidate even though the odds were against Mr. Mourdock winning according to the media, and most organized county Republican Party headquarters.
I became very active and began seeking to convince a few national groups that we could win. I also was able to convince our Fort Wayne 912 Group to host Mr. Mourdock as a speaker and to rally behind him so that other groups would do the same. Our efforts paid off.

On April 29Th of this year I was able to convince The Tea Party Express to come to Fort Wayne to rally for Richard Mourdock. This turned out to be the largest rally in our state.[3] I also stood with Mourdock at his announcement to run at The Allen County Republican Party headquarters and attend two Republican Party Dinners with Mr. Mourdock in Allen County and worked at convincing the people that I came into contact with to vote for him.

The final rally for Mr. Mourdock was held on May 5th 2012.[4]
This was an event put on by Hoosiers for a Conservative Senate and FreedomWorks. At this rally I presented the Indiana Flag at the opening of the event.

The end result of our hard work and toil was a victory by our chosen candidate. Mourdock won the race with a 20 point win.[5]
Indiana had shown the nation that The Tea Party Movement is not dead and that this victory was an effort of all Hoosiers. We have lead the way for other states to follow.
This story was written to show the efforts of one person to help secure a victory in the Indiana Senate Primary Race. I wanted to let my fellow citizens and the nation know that no roll is too small, and that we must continue to work together for a stronger and better America.

IS FINGER POINTING RACIST?

Recently we have heard a lot about the finger pointing incident on The Tarmac by Governor Jan Brewer at President Barack Obama.  The incident is now being proclaimed as a racial situation, and The Governor is being blamed by Jessie Jackson and others as causing division, and calls are being made to smear her name.  It has even being suggested that her actions may cause The President to be assassin...ated. I am not writing this note to debate the ethical question of whether or not this incident is right, wrong, or disrespectful.  I wish here to address the issue of whether or not those that accuse this incident of being racial have any merit. How Race entered into this situation based on a picture is beyond belief.  It seems as if those that will use discrimination as an excuse to divide us will stoop to any level to cause racial strife as a way of maintaining themselves in a position of power. Prior to this event, Governor Brewer has not to my knowledge ever been mentioned or charged as a person with a history of racial discrimination.  If we are to be suspect of any one of the two, the lot would fall on our President as he is the one with the history of promoting class warfare, and standing along the side of the likes of Jeremiah Wright as he proclaimed Black Liberation Theology (a doctrine of hate) from the Church that he attended for over twenty years.  Our President also stands with The Attorney General Eric Holder who refuses to prosecute The Black Panthers for intimidation against Whites. Many Blacks have jumped on the band wagon and are blaming Governor Brewer of being a Racist because they accuse her of wanting to “set a Black man of power straight.”  They accuse her of using the opportunity to promote her new book, and to show the nation that she has the nerve to stand up and put him back in his place publicly. They also point out that it is disrespectful for someone White to ever point a finger in a Black persons face in public because of the dark racial history of our country. They also have failed to take into account that our current President, Barack Obama has himself repeated this gesture on several occasions to State Officials and foreign leaders.  Are we to assume that his actions were Reverse Discrimination? We need to approach this situation with caution and with the facts.  We have enough problems in America and should not add fuel to the fire by placing charges of racial hatred to incidents simply because of a picture or historical stereotypes.  Many people also exercise their freedom of speech with incident hand gestures that may not carry any measure of contempt in their appearance. Let us not rush to judgment and accuse others of such a serious charge before we investigate the facts.  We must move on and tackle the problems that are pressing this country.  We must not use The Race Card to unjustly cause someone to receive scorn.  We must move forward and unite as One America and maintain our respect for one another.
