Howdy all!  Sorry about not sharing for a couple of days.  It’s been busy at the compound.  Went to a local Tea Party committee meeting, and ended up becoming a PCO.  Uh oh, looks like Tommy Kiley is getting really involved!  Even got my first message; Josh Romney is coming to the Tri Cities,WA on February 21st at 9-10 am.  Sorry about the hour, but they didn't ask me to schedule.  Then, the Mrs. got her new wheels and I was playing with them!  Who says those power scooters aren’t dangerous?  Just try to get around the corner at top speed.  Guess I need to learn how to repair sheet rock.

How kind the LORD is! How good he is! So merciful, this God of ours! ~ Psalm 116:5

Strangers are welcome because there is room enough for them all, and therefore the old inhabitants are not jealous of them; the laws protect them sufficiently so that they have no need of the patronage of great men; and everyone will enjoy securely the profits of his industry. But if he does not bring a fortune with him, he must work and be industrious to live. ~ Benjamin Franklin, Those Who Would Remove to America, 1784

Our nation has been the shining city on the hill for so long.  People from all over the world; our ancestors, our relatives, have given up everything they had to come to the new world.  And they thrived.  They innovated.  They brought their ideas to America so they could prosper and add to the shine.  Many more just came to be free from tyranny, from religious persecution.  And since our Lord was so kind to guide our founders to create such an open hearted land, they were all welcomed; there was room for them all.  There was a place for every one of every stature.   But, it was expected that one would apply themselves to benefit the community – the industry of the community.  That is still the expectation today, or is it?  This was not a socialist ideal.  It was an American ideal.  It still is.  Real Americans who wish to see our land prosper were expected to contribute their crafts and expertise.  That could be a baker, a blacksmith, accountant, millwright, cop, fireman, or numerous other careers.  While improving the community, they improved their own pursuit of happiness.  Those who want to take the goods and services from others without so much as a thank you believe they deserve all that they get.  I would surely like to know how they come to that conclusion.  I can’t come up with a single sensible explanation.  I can say they are lazy, greedy, and uncaring of anyone but themselves, but that would be unfair.  I could say they are abusing what gifts they get.  I could say that they would rather eat bonbons and watch soap operas than lose a drop of sweat.  But that wouldn’t be fair.  But that is exactly correct.  And they would waste enough energy to perform a week’s work in a rock quarry just to prove they didn’t need to.  Or worse, they would take get together and ‘rally’ just as a jump-off point to damage the property and happiness of others.  That is not what the founders left us.  Yet we have members of our government, elected employees at all levels of government, as well as selfishly appointed dimwit elites, who think it’s great these lowlifes get to use their first amendment rights, while castigating those who try to protect everyone’s constitutional rights.  That is screwed up.  I can’t think of any other phrase that fits.  And I can only come up with one suitable solution; expel the elected employees and their apparatchiks.  That’s one reason I became a precinct commission officer.  Found out my precinct has over a thousand registered republicans, but hasn’t had a PCO is who knows how long.  I get to go to the precinct caucus, and get an automatic seat at the county convention.  I could go to state and even the national convention in Tampa.  Now that is a way of getting the goobers out.  What’s yours?

Howdy all!  Middle of the week is over.  Here comes the end.  Or is it?  Went to a great meeting with the Tri Cities WA Tea Party.  Found out everything I need to do for the Caucus.  Dang state govt wants to save a buck so they cancelled the primary.  With my luck I will be the only person from my precinct there.  Guess I may have the floor for the entire caucus.  Hope to be proven wrong, of course.  Oh, and Ron Paul is in town Friday.  I am not supporting him, but I want to hear what he has to say.  Maybe even get a donut or two!

Give thanks for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. ~ Ephesians 5:20

The construction applied.. to those parts of the Constitution of the United States which delegate Congress a power...ought not to be construed as themselves to give unlimited powers. ~ Thomas Jefferson

I thank God every day for giving us his only Son, this great land and all my family and friends.  Life wouldn't be the same without any of them.  And so it is that I am getting involved with politics.  Our nation has the greatest Constitution that has ever been enacted.  Yet many, including a sitting Supreme Court Justice, have spoken ill of it, as if it needs to be refurbished or replaced.  Even worse, those who have the responsibility to operate our federal government, using its standards, have and continue to operate outside its bounds.  As Jefferson said, the powers afforded Congress do NOT include the power to do anything they want.  But that is exactly what goes on.  If you need proof, just count the times you believe the Constitution is being violated.  Then double it.  You might be close to the amount of times the federally elected employees act as they choose.  So, we get involved.  We go to tea party and other conservative meetings.  We go to rallies.  We do our best to remind the federally elected employees their enumerated powers are not UNLIMITED powers.  Some may even attempt to replace their present representative.  All this is allowed under our Constitution.  Great men, gifted by God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, devised this Constitution of ours.  It is not for us, or anyone we select and elect to represent us, to cast aside, violate or disassemble.  Only We the People can do that.

Howdy all!  Did you all spend a good night with the ones you love?  Spouses, family, friends; we need to turn to our loved ones to restore our strength stamina and sanity.  Sometimes on an hourly basis!  Honey, where are you going?  Honey?  Honey?  Wait for me!!

So, while I go catch my better half,..

Love is patient and kind.  Love is not jealous or boastful or proud. ~ 1 Corinthians 13:4

As there is a degree of depravity in mankind which requires a certain degree of circumspection and distrust: So there are other qualities in human nature, which justify a certain portion of esteem and confidence.  Republican government presupposes the existence of these qualities in a higher degree than any other form.  Were the pictures which have been drawn by the political jealousy of some among us, faithful likenesses of the human character, the inference would be that there is not sufficient virtue among men for self-government; and that nothing less than the chains of despotism can restrain them from destroying and devouring one another. ~ James Madison, Federalist No. 55, 1788

So, what in the world is Madison saying here in his best late 1700's prose?  Let's give it a try.  Just as there is the potential for greed, depravity and other qualities to distrust in mankind, there are also qualities in human nature which justify a high level of confidence and trust in those who portray such qualities.  Some examples of these qualities are honor, courage, commitment (just had to get the Navy core values in there for sure!)  These qualities come from deep within the soul, where the concept of love of fellow men is integral to everything we do.  This concept, this standard of love is extremely patient and kind.  It gives us the ability to love our Creator, ourselves, our families, and yes our enemies.  And as said in the verse from 1 Corinthians, it has no need of boasting or flaunting.

Unfortunately, these qualities are overshadowed by the politically jealous among us, in an effort to prove that We the People cannot survive through self government.  We 'need' to have a select few (elites) govern us.  The elites are the only ones who know how to do things right.  It doesn't matter that our nation has survived and thrived under self-government for over 200 years.  Therefore, to ensure self-governing of our republican government, it is imperative that we use those higher qualities to ensure that our rights endowed to us by our Creator do not get devoured by these elites who will do everything they can to take control from the people.

What was going on in the 1780's that would give Madison the idea that this situation could be possible?  Well, France is a great example.  Their revolution was well on its way to completion, but they were not following the model presented by the rebellious Americans.  And they still do not have a republican form of government they can trust.

So, how does this relate to present day?  Well, we have elitists running the government today, who don't think We the People can tie our shoes, let alone self-govern.  They feel the need to do everything for us; and if they could, they WOULD tie our shoes for us.  You can't turn in any direction without some form of government control or restriction in front of you.  This is why there is such an unprecedented effort from the tea party movement to restore the republican form of government guaranteed by the Constitution.  This nation is our nation.  It belongs to all 330 million of us, not just the 550 or so employees we have sent to DC to represent us in government.  So, we as Americans must show the elites that there is sufficient virtue among men for self-government.  We must remind the elites that they are our voices, and if they forgot how we sound, we must remind them; or turn the keys over to someone else.

Take care, God bless,

AND STAND WITH ISRAEL!!

Howdy all!  The week is going great so far.  And it's only one work day old.  So we need to keep the work week going strong.  Even us unemployed need to keep things moving.  Interviews, cold calls, it's still work.  America wasn't built only by people in the work force.  So many innovations and inspirations had been developed by those in need and those who wanted to make things better.  So, maybe I can invent something really cool.

Until then,..

If one person falls, the other can reach out and help.  But someone who falls alone is in real trouble. ~ Ecc. 4:10

It seems to me very important that the statute laws should be made as plain and intelligible as possible, and be reduced to as small a compass as may consist with the fullness and precision of the will of the legislature and the perspicuity of its language.  This, well done, would, I think, greatly facilitate the labors of those whose duty it is to assist in the administration of the laws, and would be a lasting benefit to the people, by placing before them, in a more accessible and intelligible form, the laws which so deeply concern their interests and their duties. ~ Abraham Lincoln, Annual message to Congress, December 1, 1861

Did I hear once that President Obama looks up to Abraham Lincoln?  I wonder, since Mr Lincoln's words are obviously some foreign language to Obama.  Stimulus bill/ARRA 1100 pages, Obamacare 2000 pages - and that doesn't include the extra pages needed for all the commissions.  Remember Pelosi's famous words, "We must pass the bill so we can find out what is in the bill."  Can you imagine how simple and small our government structure would be if Lincoln's words were heeded?  No commissions, advisers, advocates, or vast number of lawyers to interpret laws.  What a concept.  It would take the full attendance of our federally elected employees approximately 2 hours to review, discuss, vote and pass a bill to the President.  Imagine getting things done in Congress with same day service?  And everyone knew what they were signing!

I know, keep dreaming.  But it's a good dream, isn't it?  Well, back to reality...

We aren't going to see Lincoln's words fulfilled any time soon.  Our present lot of elected employees are desperate to remain employed, so the more complex the bills, the more they feel needed to interpret.  HOWEVER, with the enlightenment of American conservatives, We the People have become capable of reading what the employees come up with.  We have not been impressed by what we read.  And, we are more willing to replace the federally elected employees than they would prefer.  But they continue to go against Abe's advice.  We the people have figured out that our Constitution and our nation requires all of us to stand together, work together, be together.  The progressives will do everything that can to divide us and cull out what they consider the weak links.  So standing together ensures we can reach out and help one another if we should fall.  We won't be in a position to let ourselves get into real trouble alone.  That is what makes this movement so great.  So many people, thinking alike, working together and sharing with each other.  This has made our nation more of a family than it has ever been.  Keep up the great work, together.

Take care, God bless,

AND STAND WITH ISRAEL!!

Howdy all!  How was your week?  Are you ready for the weekend?

You know each day, each week, each month we get closer to restoration.  I hear the fear of what the 'left' will do to keep their control over us.  I know that many of us are doing what we can to prevent the left from succeeding.  But you know what I like hearing?  Young people getting involved.  Not the OWS folks who follow like lemmings over the cliff into the vat of coolaid.  But young people who have realized that what they will have for their future relies on what We the People do now.  So, to the youth of America,  I dedicate the following verse and quote.  I cannot do these writings any justice by interpreting or adding my flavorful flare!  I will leave the credit in, so you may find out more about the context if you so desire.  But I ask you to read the verse from 1 Timothy and the quote from Washington as one entire entry.  Then offer it to any young person who is involved.  It is them that this encouraged message is for.  Like I said, I cannot make it any better than what was originally said.

So kids, sit down and listen, and thank you for your involvement,...

Don't let anyone think less of you because you are young.  Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith and your purity. ~ 1 Timothy 4:12

And you will, by the dignity of your conduct, afford occasion for posterity to say, when speaking of the glorious example you have exhibited to mankind, had this day been wanting, the world had never seen the last stage of perfection to which human nature is capable of attaining. ~ George Washington, The Newburgh Address, 1783.

Howdy all!  Weekend is here!  What are your plans?  Hmm, let me guess.  Late night vote in the House to secretly allow more EPA invasion?  How about Saturday meetings on the golf course with Obama and Axelrod?  Ooohh!  I know, I know!  Let’s put on the ‘I am so infuriated I could cry’ face again, and go on TV to demand Barry to do something conservative.  Not to worry, we’ll have a good laugh at the 4th tee.  Oh, wait a minute.  This is what the Speaker of the House is planning.  Don’t think anyone here would do these things, right?

Any hoo,..

So then, let us aim for harmony in the church and try to build each other up. ~ Romans 14:19

Human nature itself is evermore an advocate for liberty. There is also in human nature a resentment of injury, and indignation against wrong.  A love of truth and a veneration of virtue.  These amiable passions, are the "latent spark"... If the people are capable of understanding, seeing and feeling the differences between true and false, right and wrong, virtue and vice, to what better principle can the friends of mankind apply than to the sense of this difference? ~ John Adams, the Novanglus, 1775

Latent spark.  Latent Spark?  LATENT SPARK!!  Mr Adams would be correct about the love of truth and veneration of virtue to be the latent spark of our human nature to advocate for liberty.  But now, we have grown way beyond the amiable passions.  Americans are far more advanced in their desire to protect and preserve the Constitution and the republican form of government guaranteed by the Constitution.  We are past the latent spark.  So, when we see the violations of the Constitution and the laws imposed by congress and approved by presidents past and present, we are no longer driven by amiable passions.  It is downright infuriating!  Makes me want to,… wait!  No, that is not me.  I am not the individual who would take up actions based purely out of passion.  I am the kind of person to think first.  What would be the best way to make a change to get rid of the growing population of donkeys and rinos in Washington DC?  How do we get more Yankee Doodles in there?  Unfortunately, I cannot do it alone.  More unfortunately you cannot do it alone either.  But, we can together.  We the People have the ability to stop this craziness.  We ARE capable of understanding, seeing and feeling the differences between true and false, right and wrong, virtue and vice.  And there are 545 people in DC who may all be blind to what we understand.

So, what to do?  Here’s a thought.  When the GOP candidate for your representative district has a forum, a town hall, a call in interview on radio, anything where there is an audience, go and ask a question.  Ask them “Since the present Speaker of the House is constantly caving to the demands of the President and the democrats, he is obviously not doing what is always best for our nation.  Will you promise right now to vote against him for the position of Speaker?”  If they say yes, then tell them they are now on record stating that.  If they say no or are hesitant to answer, then stand up and say, “If you are not strong enough to stand up to tyranny in your own House, then you don’t deserve my vote.” Then promptly leave, asking the remaining crowd to follow.  In Romans 14:19, we are instructed to aim for harmony and to build each other up.  But Mr Boehner has not been doing that at all.  He continues to side with the middle of the road rinos.  He continues to give in to democratic desires which always costs the American people more and more, which we already cannot afford.  And now, when there is strong evidence that members of the administration have, are and plan to violate the Constitution and other laws they see fit, he decides to end the investigation, such as the fast and furious investigation.  How disgustingly infuriating, and definitively outrageous!  Mr Boehner no longer deserves to represent the republican party in the US House of Representatives.  And if your local representative is not willing to listen to their own constituents, they won’t ever, and need to be removed immediately.  We can wait until November 6th.

Does this sound encouraging or enraged?  I say both.  We must at times be encouraged enough to be bold.  As Thomas Jefferson said, we must question with boldness even the existence of God.  It is time to be that bold with our neighbor in the Capitol building, our own federally elected employee.

Sorry for the long message today.  But I need to get this off my chest.  I will be asking Mr WA 4th.  Will you ask you person?

Take care, God bless,

AND STAND WITH ISRAEL!!

Howdy all!  What do you think about Tuesday's sweep by Santorum?  What I've read so far in the lame stream media as well as the 'RINO files', is shear bedlam.  Seems like the establishment in the GOP took one in the shorts, and are scrambling for a way to regain their control over us.  Gee, it sure sounds like a bunch of Democrats.

Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people. ~ Colossians 3:23

Ambitions must be made to counteract ambition.  The interest of the man must be connected with the constitutional rights of the place.  It may be a reflection on human nature that such devices should be necessary to control the abuses of government.  What is government itself but the greatest of all reflection on human nature? ~ James Madison, Federalist No. 15, 1788

Mr Madison says something very revealing here.  Government is the greatest of all reflection on human nature.  We send people from our neighborhoods to represent us in the capital.  When they are all together, they should reflect the nation in their actions with diversity; TRUE diversity, not the forced crap that is shoved on us to satisfy a few.  The diversity of our nation is supposed to be extremely visible in the chambers and halls of our government buildings.  Sadly, this is not the case.  Those who represent us in DC are not necessarily there for us.  They are there for themselves.  They make laws to tax the people in order to fund their little pet projects.  They make rules for themselves that benefit only themselves, all the while using the money we send them to pay for their fringe benefits.  They also have the audacity to set up health care plans at our cost and retirement plans to be paid in full after they finish their terms, as if their presence in DC is a JOB.  In reality, they do not reflect on human nature.  And we have let them do this to us.  We have not developed the ambition to counteract their ambitions.  We have not developed the devices to control the abuses of the fox guarding the chicken coup.  They have forgotten the basic fact of governmental representation that their actions must be connected with the constitutional rights of not only the government, but more importantly the people.  It's almost as if they have perverted the verse from Colossians; they are willing to work for themselves rather than the people.  That has to stop.

So, what to do?  We can vote them out.  We can revolt.  We can keep our heads in the sand like good little ostriches.  Or we continue with the efforts we've undertaken for the last few years.  I choose the latter.  Obviously revolt may have more permanent consequences than we are ready to accept, for now.  Voting them out is only as good ans for as long as the next election.  And I hate when I get sand in my ears.  We must continue with rallies, web sites, chatting, teaching ourselves, then teaching our kids and grand kids.  Save your rally signs.  Keep them for when people look back 30-40 years from now and ask how did these refounders know what was right?  How did they do it?  We are all refounders.  All of us.  Those of us who write; those of us who read.  Those who go to rallies; those who go to forums.  Those who vet candidates on the internet and those who go to 'meet and greets' and ask the hard questions.  We are following the advice from Colossians 3:23.  We are working willingly as though we are working for Him, not the people.  By doing so, we not only please Him, our results benefit the people far more than what we can do for them directly.

Howdy all!  What a night for Rick Santorum!  And what a night for true conservatism, and the first amendment!  The first multiple state primary/caucus night, and the former Senator went 3 for 3!  HAT TRICK!!  And did you notice he won every single county in Missouri?  What an outstanding feat!  It is well known that Santorum's Roman Catholic background, as well as his family values, are very strong and very conservative.  Recently he had been overshadowed by the bickering between Romney and Gingrich.  Tonight, Santorum comes out way ahead!  Congratulations to Rick Santorum.

And,..

Jesus replied, "You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind. ~ Matthew 22:37

There is a certain enthusiasm in liberty, that makes human nature rise above itself, in acts of bravery and heroism. ~ Alexander Hamilton, The Farmer Refuted, 1775

In the past few days, while much attention is on the primaries, POTUS has done something I as a Catholic and retired military veteran am infuriated with.  To tell chaplains they must support gay marriage; to tell chaplains they cannot read the letter from the Catholic leadership that discusses the Catholic stance against the government mandates of abortion and contraception; to turn down the request from the Bishop, who requested of POTUS personally, to allow the chaplains to read the letter from their religious leaders to the military congregations; this is ALL in violation of the first amendment.  Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof,..  Telling military chaplains of the Catholic faith they cannot follow their religious teachings?  IS THAT NOT PROHIBITING THE FREE EXERCISE??  And if the cheap ambulance chasing lawyer side of the POTUS even thinks for one moment that HIM saying no is not the congress passing laws, then here's a couple of facts to refute.

1) POTUS signs approval for any law that comes from the Congress, so he IS bound by the first amendment clause.

2) IF he thinks his verbal direction to the chaplains is NOT making a law, then we do NOT have to follow ANY one of the executive orders he has shoved down our throats.  I mean, hey!  If one thing he directs is not a law, then NOTHING he directs is a law.

We all have certain enthusiasms in liberty.  Tea party involvement, conservative activities, rallies, getting involved in elections and every way we have; they all show our enthusiasm to replace POTUS.  That enthusiasm makes our human nature rise way above everything.  Our acts of honor, integrity, bravery and heroism shine through, and our elation in victory makes it that much sweeter.  But, we must not forget our strengths: family, friends, and most of all our Creator.  As Jesus said, we MUST love the Lord our God with all our hearts, soul and mind.  This is a command from our savior.  A COMMAND.  He is above any leader of any nation on earth.  So His word is prime.  That is why the pilgrims came to America - religious freedom.  That is why the first amendment discusses the freedom of religion BEFORE it discusses the freedom of speech - religious freedom.

We all have the opportunity to get involved.  It is true that we always did have this opportunity.  But we did not recognize the need.  Well, our ostrich heads are out of the sand, and for the last four years we have taken notice.  The time to restore our Constitution, our economy, and our strength as the greatest nation the world has ever seen is NOW.  Get involved.  Run for office.  Volunteer.  Write.  Discuss. Don't be violent, but don't be silent.  We are the people of WE THE PEOPLE.  Let's conduct ourselves as such and take back our country.

Take care, God bless,

AND STAND WITH ISRAEL

For we believe by believing and not by seeing. ~ 2 Cor. 5:7

We have just carried an election on principles fairly stated to the people.  Now we are told in advance, the government shall be broken up, unless we surrender to those we have beaten, before we take the offices.  In this they are either attempting to play upon us, or they are indeed earnest.  Either way, if we surrender, it is the end of us, and of the government.  They will repeat the experiment upon us ad libitum. ... They now have the Constitution, under which we have lived over 70 years, and acts of Congress of their own framing, with no prospect of their being changed; and they can never have a more shallow pretext for breaking up the government, or extorting a compromise, than now. ~ Abraham Lincoln, confidential letter to James T. Hale, January 11, 1861.

I have some great friends in New England, and many family members as well.  We get along pretty good, until a game between a New York team and a New England team; any sport, any level.  Today's Superbowl is no different. We will castigate each other for rooting for the 'losing' team, which the other team always is, regardless of the final score.  But in the end, we will still be close.  I don't think the same can be said about our government; or more correctly, our federally elected employees.  I mean, just read the letter from Lincoln.  It was written in 1861!  It is uncanny how similar things are today.  In fact it is down right scary.  The only changes to be made in Lincolns letter to reflect our issues with the government today is to change the 70 to 221, and the date from 1861 to 2012.  Everything else is as it is today.  Will the progressive movement disband after the elections in November?  Or will they attempt to take the government after being beaten, as Lincoln feared in 1861?  I believe it's possible that something might be done after the liberal/progressive movers and shakers get shaken out of their shorts.  Even more telling is that Lincoln's concern of a broken government was over slavery.  JUST LIKE NOW!  Then it was slavery based on race.  Today, it is slavery based on political ideology.  But either way it's slavery.  And look at the date of writing; Jan 1861.  Just before the office of president was to be exchanged. Here is where the similarities part ways.  We have until November, 10 months to prepare, 10 months to prevent, 10 months to protect our Constitution, our form of government, our nation from being torn to bits.  Ominous sounding, yes.  Avoidable?  ABSOLUTELY!  Avoidable yes, because we have what wasn't available in 1861; awareness.  Awareness to the fact that our Constitution is under violent attacks from the left.  Awareness that We the People have been enlightened to our rights and responsibilities as citizens of the United States of America.  Awareness so strong, that we believe we can preserve our great nation, our city on the hill.  We believe so strongly.  We do not need to see how strong we are; we know how strong we are - because we believe in al lour hearts and minds that we are strong.  We the People; the first words of the greatest document to ever grace our earth, outside the ten commandments and the bible.  No blaspheme here, just truth.  So help me God.

We have been told in advance, the government shall be broken up, unless we surrender to those we have beaten, before we take the offices.  But We the People believe that we will make historic change ourselves.  We will save this great nation and the Constitution; the document that defines our principles fairly stated to the people.

By the way, isn't Mr.Lincoln an idol, or at least a source of guidance for POTUS?  Yeah, I thought so.
