Help save America, our Constitution and its’ freedoms based on Judeo-Christian values.  Reject ‘Islam, the Quran, and ‘Sharia Law’ before they destroy us.

When will Americans demand President Obama and Capitol Hill legislators to pass legislation rejecting ‘Islamic Muslim’ tax supported laws?

American terror began in 1993 as Islamic Muslims bombed one of the twin towers.  http://www.history.com/news/remembering-the-1993-world-trade-center-bombing

Terrorism continued on 9/11/2011 when ‘Islamic Muslims’ hijacked four American Airliners and flew two passenger jets into New York’s Twin Towers, and one passenger jet into the Pentagon.  A fourth passenger jet attack was thwarted when  passengers took over the ‘Islamic Muslims’ who crashed this flight into the countryside in Pennsylvania. http://www.history.com/topics/9-11-attacks

President Obama, Capitol Hill legislators, and most American families, friends, and neighbors must awaken to the facts that ‘Islam’ is not a religion?

‘Islamic Muslim’ terrorists are killers.  Wars are and has been their lifestyle for more than 2,000 years.  ‘Islamic Muslims’ are determined to kill everyone, everywhere, who opposes ‘Islam’. The evidence:  http://www.thereligionofpeace.com/

Americans must learn, live, practice, and share to others the Constitution values and its’ freedoms; all based on Judeo-Christian values.

Database Hack at OPM Even Bigger Than Thought

The Office of Personnel Management has officially said only 4.2 million federal employees were affected by the database intrusion by China. But CNN is reporting that number is much, much higher, as the FBI Director told the Senate recently that an estimated 18 million Americans were affected. This number includes former and current government employees and even people who only applied for government work.

Let’s be clear: The Obama administration’s lack of leadership contributed to this intrusion and its lack of leadership will make the situation worse. In a June 17 press conference, Obama spokesman Josh Earnest told reporters that Obama is standing behind OPM Director Katherine Archuleta, who just happened to be National Political Director for Obama’s 2012 re-election campaign. “Director Archuleta, in one of her first priorities that she identified after taking that job, was to upgrade the OPM computer network, particularly their cyber defenses,” Earnest said. “And this is obviously an ongoing process, and the president does have confidence that she is the right person for the job.” Archuleta had a job, but she didn’t do the job. Now some of the most sensitive employee data in the nation is in Chinese hands.

Obama could have prevented the hack — or at least lessened the effect of the attack — by being a strong leader, making tough decisions, following through with his promises and nominating qualified leaders. But his character is only emboldening enemies.

Here Come the Gun Control Crusaders After Charleston

Senators Joe Manchin (D-WV) and Pat Toomey (R-PA) are at it again. After the Sandy Hook massacre, Toomey — a gun-owning, NRA A-rated politician — jumped on Barack Obama’s bandwagon and introduced legislation that would toughen the nation’s background check legislation. The bill was defeated 54-46 in 2013, but Manchin and Toomey told The Washington Post Tuesday night that they would like to revive the bill in response to the massacre in Charleston. Nothing like standing on the caskets of victims to advance a few extra yards in the political game. Toomey, when he appeared on MSNBC Wednesday morning, admitted the bill is mostly a crapshoot. “Honestly, I don’t want to build up any false expectations,” he said, “I’m not aware that we have the votes to do what Sen. Manchin and I attempted. Is it possible that some portion of that, some subset of what we focused on is possible? Honestly, probably not likely.” Still, it shows the tenacity of the forces driving gun control. Every time a front page blares that a crime was committed with a gun, there will be another call for gun restrictions. And the politicians will blow the dust off their tired gun control bills in hopes that maybe this atrocity will have the emotional clout to carry it through.

Gov’t Affirms Climate Change Is a Health Hazard

It seems that if we only figured out how to control the climate, humankind would figure out how to rid itself of all the ills plaguing us for the last few decades — or more, probably depending on who you ask. The Lancet Commission on Health and Climate Change issued a report Monday claiming that climate change is nothing short of a “medical emergency,” according to the commission’s co-chair, Hugh Montgomery. “Although vector-borne diseases will expand their reach and death tolls, the indirect effects of climate change on water, food security, and extreme climatic events are likely to have the biggest effect on global health,” said the report’s executive summary. “A new advocacy and public health movement is needed urgently to bring together governments, international agencies, non-governmental organisations, communities, and academics from all disciplines to adapt to the effects of climate change on health.” First, climate change was going to hurt the polar bears, then drown Florida. Listen enough to government rhetoric and you’ll hear climate change being blamed for everything from a sluggish economy to the war in Syria. Indeed, it seems that the world’s politicians are promising too much as they push for doing something on climate change, telling us that if they could only control the planet and the people on it, then we’d have peace, security and happiness.

After More Money and ‘Fixes,’ VA Gets Worse

By Paul Albaugh

2015-06-24-2ca98b41_large.jpg

For veterans seeking care from the Department of Veterans Affairs, let’s just say that this year isn’t going to be any better than the last. Despite all of the promises from Barack Obama, Congress and unelected bureaucrats that the government would “fix” the problems with the VA, little to nothing has been done. Unless you count making things worse.

About a year ago, news broke that veterans were dying while on secret VA waiting lists. Obama promised that his administration would fix the problems. We were told by incoming VA Secretary Robert McDonald that “he would fire over 1,000 VA employees over the wait time scandal.” Yet the fixes and firings didn’t happen. Nope, we were lied to again.

Perhaps the VA simply needed more money to operate more efficiently. In keeping with the status quo for every government agency that is failing, Congress pumped $16.3 billion into the VA to give it some help — that after its budget nearly tripled between 2000 and 2012. How’d that all work out? Fast forward to today, and the results are pathetic. In fact it’s worse now than it was a year ago.

The Department of Veterans Affairs is facing a new crisis. The number of veterans waiting one month or more for care is actually 50% higher than it was during last year’s problems, and the VA is also facing a nearly $3 billion budget shortfall.

To address this continuing crisis the VA is considering furloughs, hiring freezes and “significant moves” to close the budget shortfall. It’s also considering rationing Hepatitis C treatments, specifically for those who are in more advanced stages of illness or advanced dementia. How’s that for veteran care?

On a positive note, doctors and nurses within the VA have handled 2.7 million more appointments than in any previous year and sent an additional 900,000 patients to see physicians in the private sector. With these numbers, what’s the problem?

The VA has seen a massive increase in veterans seeking care, primarily aging Vietnam vets and those who have returned from the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. With this increase in demand for care comes a need for more doctors and nurses to provide the treatment that our veterans deserve. But according to many experts there is a shortage of doctors and nurses. In addition there has also been an increase in the cost of drugs and medication, and the largest driver of costs has been from patients seeking medical attention from physicians in the private sector. Thanks, ObamaCare.

“Something has to give,” conceded VA Deputy Secretary Sloan Gibson. “We can’t leave this as the status quo. We are not meeting the needs of veterans, and veterans are signaling that to us by coming in for additional care, and we can’t deliver as timely as we want to.”

Why not? The VA has more money and more people, yet we’re supposed to believe that still more money is the answer? No doubt most Americans would rather see their tax dollars go to fund the VA’s operations than to most any other federal project. But the problem isn’t the lack of money, it’s the ineptitude of bureaucrats who don’t know how to properly manage the money or personnel that they have.

As Mark Alexander suggested last year, perhaps Congress should consider another piece of legislation to improve services at the VA: Make the commander in chief and all of his cabinet level appointees get in line for VA medical services instead of the VIP medical treatment they now receive. Let’s add Congress to that list as well. Can anyone imagine our elected officials and their staff having to wait like veterans do for treatment? We doubt that this will happen anytime soon, but if it could, we bet there would likely be some significant, real changes to the VA.

Meanwhile, ObamaCare was passed to give all Americans access to medical care and is funded by taxpayers. Yet it is unaffordable, unsustainable and un-American. It’s certain that within a few years, as ObamaCare grows and takes deeper root, all Americans will be on waiting lists to receive care. There will be calls for reform, to pump more money and people into it. But these “reforms” won’t fix the problem, either — because the problem is federal bureaucrats who insist on spending more of our dollars to increase their power and take away freedom from individuals. Need proof? Just look at the VA.

OPINION IN BRIEF

Jonah Goldberg: “If it were left to me, I would take the [Charleston Confederate] flag down (for the reasons South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley laid out Monday). But this kind of cheap moral preening is galling. Is it really too much for people to muster the moral imagination that the issue isn’t nearly as simple as that? A November poll of South Carolinians found that 61 percent of blacks wanted it down. That means nearly 4 in 10 blacks felt differently. Are they deluded? Are they the moral equivalent of self-loathing Jews, happy to live under a swastika? … If we’re going to offer ridiculous flag comparisons, a better one would be the Japanese imperial flag. After World War II, the U.S. banned it until 1949. Douglas MacArthur then opted to let a defeated, once-authoritarian society keep a few symbols of its past in order to build a better future. Can anyone argue that the South hasn’t done likewise? White Northern liberals explain how the South is an irredeemable cesspool of hate, while ignoring the fact that blacks are abandoning the Northern blue states in huge numbers to move to the South. Demographer Joel Kotkin found that 13 of the 15 best cities in the country for African-Americans to live in are now in the South. … No, the South isn’t perfect; name a region that is. But it does have good manners, which is why it routinely acts with more dignity — and in Charleston, with more grace — than its critics to the north.”

‘Al-Ahram’ Editor: ‘Washington Post’ Waging A Vicious Campaign Against Al-Sisi Regime In Service Of Muslim Brotherhood

Islamic State mints its own ‘Islamic Dinar’ coins

The JV team has its own state and its own currency. The currency, based on the original dinar coins used during the Caliphate of Uthman in 634 CE, was set to include seven minted coins: two gold, three silver and two copper.

Designs due to be embossed on the gold coins included a symbol of seven wheat stalks – a Quranic reference – and a world map. There you have it.

The prototype design had also shown that the coins would carry an Arabic message on the lines of “The Islamic State – A caliphate based on the doctrine of the Prophet.”

Number of Islamic terrorist acts in 2014 increased 35%, fatalities increased 81%, compared to 2013

This is part of an ongoing trend and we haven’t seen anything yet. Obama’s support of jihad movements, his abandonment of our allies, his dismantling of counter terror programs here and abroad portends a bloody war on a worldwide scale.

German police arrest Al Jazeera journalist in Berlin

This is hardly surprising. For years here at Atlas, I have exposed the terror ties of Muslim Brotherhood broadcaster Al Jazeera and vigorously fought to keep them off the national airwaves (video here). That point became moot when leftist quisling Al Gore sold his failing TV network Current to the terror broadcaster. It wasn’t the audience (or lack of) that Al Jizz sought it was the access and distribution deals already in place. For years we have been calling on Congress to investigate the treasonous sale. Al Jazeera should have been designated a terrorist entity long ago much like Al Manar (the television station of Hezb’Allah).

I am sure this is not limited to Al Jazeera. There is no doubt in my mind that similar operatives...

Sanger Fan Hillary Talks Race in Ferguson

Hillary Clinton on Tuesday ventured to Florissant, Missouri, not far from Ferguson, Missouri to talk about the “hard truths” about race and racial injustice in the wake of the church massacre in Charleston South Carolina. One of those hard truths is that one of her role models was Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood, someone who believed, as did the shooter at Emanuel A.M.E. Church, that the black race should be exterminated.

Back in March of 2009, Hillary Clinton accepted Planned Parenthood’s Margaret Sanger Award, an organization originally called the American Birth Control League. In accepting the award, the Weekly Standard noted, Hillary had high praise for the noted eugenicist:

WITH YOUR SECOND CUP OF COFFEE
In a culture that doesn’t flinch at grown women wearing ill-fitting yoga pants to travel on an airplane or adult men wearing tennis shoes to work in an office, what’s the point of “dressing up?” In a society where vulgarians are everywhere ascendant, what’s the point of being polite? And in a world where perfect strangers think nothing of calling adults, even their elders, only by their first names, what’s the point of courtesy? Being formal today is often seen as not just pointless but also priggish. So parents and others weary sentinels on the frontier between civilization and idiocracy often struggle with the “why” of keeping social order. In his commencement address to students at a California charter school, Prof. Harvey Mansfield provides the most powerful alternative to “because I said so.” And The Weekly Standard has made it available to you.  -Fox News

Signed, sealed, delivered -  This commitment to freedom is illustrated on the state seal, the most interesting part of which may be the most inconspicuous. A hat at the center of the two crossed rifles referred to as the “liberty cap” comes from ancient Rome, and was given to slaves when their owners granted them freedom. The liberty cap, called the Phrygian cap in ancient Rome, is also worn by the Magi that follow the star to the birth of Christ in most depictions, and is worn by the freedom statue at the top of the Capitol building in Washington. Any who celebrate the triumph of freedom over slavery ought to take a moment to observe West Virginia Day on Saturday.

(Roger Aronoff) ~ President nObama is once again telling lies about nObamacare while bullying the Supreme Court to decide in his administration’s favor inKing v. Burwell, a court case which will likely be decided this month and which has the potential to gut the law’s subsidies... On cue, the mainstream media have marshaled their forces in defense of nObama and his signature legislation. And the media, just like the President, have been peddling many of the same lies about this law at the expense of the health and welfare of average Americans. A recent health care poll from the Kaiser Family Foundation, popular with many in the media, asked whether Congress should intervene on behalf of low-income persons who might lose their subsidies. Not surprisingly, six in ten responded, “Yes.” But that poll does not appear to have asked the deeper question of whether all three branches of the federal government should respect the law as written.

On his eagle-eyed watch, we now learn, easily preventable homicides actually occurred, and designated potential terrorists are manning the secure areas of U.S. airports... Meanwhile, nObama deployed the federal government’s ferocious power . . . against a food additive. For starters, nObama’s hands are soaked with the blood of  as many as 121 people who were murdered by illegal-alien criminal convicts after he failed to deport them and, instead, released them onto America’s streets. Thanks, nObama!        http://www.aim.org/guest-column/terrorists-and-criminals-yes-trans-fats-no/?utm_source=AIM+-+Daily+Email&utm_campaign=email062215&utm_medium=email

UN Wants "Urgent Measures" to Control Guns
(Joe Wolverton, II, J.D.) ~ Not to be outdone by Barack nObama and Hilly Clinton in calling for civilian disarmament, the United Nations is taking advantage of the Charleston shootings to join the chorus of confiscators... In a statement issued on June 19 by the United Nations Working Group of Experts on People of African Descent (yes, that actually exists), committee chairwoman Mireille Fanon Mendes-France demanded that “urgent measures must be taken to prevent gun violence.” Making a point of distinguishing this crime for its effect on “the security of Afro-Americans,” the UN group sent their “heartfelt condolences to the people of the United States of America.” A United Nations group has called on the United States to take "urgent measures" to reduce gun violence. They have no rights to force our hands in gun violence.       http://www.thenewamerican.com/usnews/crime/item/21102-un-wants-urgent-measures-to-control-guns-after-charleston-killings?utm_source=Newsletter&utm_campaign=37647fb605-The_Editors_Top_Picks_3_12_143_12_2014&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_8ca494f2d2-37647fb605-289778381

300,000 Christians Gather Together To Combat The Antichrist Attack
(Theodore Shoebat) ~ 300,000 Christians gathered together in Rome’s San Giovanni Square to combat the antichrist attack against Christianity throughout the West. They rallied against the evil homosexual agenda and the demonic system of abortion... You can never get rid of Christianity, nor the roots of Christian tradition that so keep together civilization. No matter how much the wicked governments succeed in establishing evil and diabolical laws, no matter how much the wicked think they are winning, there will always be Christians to be here to tell let them know that they will never extinguish the fire of Christianity. In the words of St. John of Damascus, “God is a fire consuming all evil.” (Orthodox Faith, 1.9, trans. Chase, Jr.) And so we, being images of God, must be lights that shine forth and dispel the darkness into pieces.        http://sonsoflibertymedia.com/2015/06/300000-christians-gather-together-to-combat-the-antichrist-attack-against-christianity/

New emails show Benghazi deception by Hilly Clinton, nObama
(Stephen Dinan) ~ Congress released nearly 200 pages of newly uncovered emails involving former Secretary of State Hilly Rodham Clinton, raising questions Monday about whether the nObama administration and the Democratic presidential candidate herself were truthful when they said they turned over all of her email communications on Benghazi... Rep. Trey Gowdy, chairman of the select House committee looking into the 2012 terrorist attack in Libya, demanded the State Department say whether it has the emails — a way of testing whether the administration withheld them against the wishes of the committee, or whether Mrs. Clinton never turned them over in the first place, contradicting her public statements.        http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2015/jun/22/new-emails-reignite-hillary-clinton-email-scandal/

 The Palestinians' Real Strategy
(Khaled Abu Tomameh) ~ All signs indicate that the Palestinians are planning to step up their efforts to force Israel to comply with their demands. But as the Palestinians are not united, they are working on two fronts to achieve their goal... One party, headed by the Palestinian Authority (PA), believes that, with the help of the international community, Israel will be forced to fully withdraw to the pre-1967 lines, including east Jerusalem, and accept the "right of return" for millions of refugees and their descendants to their former homes inside Israel. The second party, represented by Hamas, Islamic Jihad and several other terror groups, continues to reject any form of compromise, and insists that the only solution lies in the elimination of Israel. Unlike the first party, this one believes that direct or indirect negotiations with the "Zionist enemy" are a waste of time and that terrorism is the only means for the Palestinians to achieve their goal.

Ayatollah Khamenei Calling the Shots on the Nuclear Deal
(Joseph Puder) ~ The end of June 2015 is when the 5+1 powers are supposed to conclude a nuclear deal with Iran.  With just a few weeks to go it appears that serious issues remain unresolved... Resolution of the outstanding issues depends on a few actors in this political drama. U.S. President Barack nObama desperately wants to conclude a deal, which he believes will be his primary legacy in foreign affairs. The second U.S. actor is the U.S. Congress, dominated by the Republican opposition, which wants to insure that the deal with Iran has teeth that will guarantee that Iran does not continue to violate agreements – as it has done all along. The Congressional leadership wants inspections – not “guided tours” by the Iranians, which include military facilities and interviews with Iranian scientists. Three figures are the main actors on the Iranian side: the decisive one however, and the final authority is the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. He is trying to achieve a consensus with the two others: Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani, whose election was approved by the Ayatollah Khamenei, and was given the mission to end the international sanctions, which have crippled the Iranian economy. His future rests on his ability to do so, and he, like President nObama, desperately wants a deal to be consummated.        http://www.frontpagemag.com/2015/joseph-puder/ayatollah-khamenei-calling-the-shots-on-the-nuclear-deal/?utm_source=FrontPage+Magazine&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=3b4f269dac-Mailchimp_FrontPageMag&utm_term=0_57e32c1dad-3b4f269dac-156509103

 The Left Is Eating Itself
(Daniel Greenfield) ~ In the hot days of summer, the progressive revolution that took over cities and even the national government is frenziedly devouring itself... The media is pounding away at Hilly Clinton, not because it cares about her foundation’s dirty deals or the contents of her email server, but because it doesn’t trust her ideological commitment. If the media were sure of that, both stories would have been treated like Benghazi; mocked, ridiculed, falsely fact checked and then buried in a haunted Indian graveyard under the New York Times building at midnight.        http://www.frontpagemag.com/2015/dgreenfield/the-left-is-eating-itself/?utm_source=FrontPage+Magazine&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=3b4f269dac-Mailchimp_FrontPageMag&utm_term=0_57e32c1dad-3b4f269dac-156509103

Straying away from strength in numbers
(Thomas Donnelly) ~ “God is on the side of the big battalions.” The historical record is opaque about whether it was Napoleon, Turenne, Voltaire, or indeed any identifiable Frenchman who made that statement, but, in this age of supposedly post-industrial warfare. He has apparently changed His mind... Equipped with an iPhone and GPS-guided munitions, God has broken the phalanx, emptied the battlefield, and super-empowered the individual. Mass—particularly the large military formations of the modern era: infantry divisions and corps, aircraft carrier battle groups, tactical air wings—has gone out of style. Ironically, the United States, which became history’s “sole superpower” by crushing Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan and outlasting the Soviet Union, has become the leading exponent of strategic “agility” and operational “mobility”—or, anything except durability. The impulse has reached the level of farce in the campaign to roll back the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria.  President nObama has repeatedly lamented the inability to formulate a “complete strategy” for the war, complaining that while ISIS forces are “nimble and they’re aggressive and they’re opportunistic,” his cumbersome coalition of US advisers, the vanishing Iraqi army, and Iranian-backed Shi’a militias is not.       http://www.aei.org/publication/straying-away-from-strength-in-numbers/?utm_source=paramount&utm_medium=email&utm_content=AEITODAY&utm_campaign=062215

U.S.-Israel Alliance
Won't Be Fixed Without Honesty
Jonathan Tobin
.
.
(jewishworldreview.com) ~ The nObama administration isn't very happy about Michael Oren's new book.
.
The revelations in the memoir by the former Israeli ambassador to the United States aren't particularly shocking for anyone who has been following the news since January 2009. President nObama came into office with some set ideas about creating daylight between Israel and the United States and has followed with more than six years of quarrels and public animosity.
.
As John Podhoretz writes about the book in the July/August issue of COMMENTARY,"The sheer unfriendliness of the administration is startlingly present on nearly every one of his memoir's 374 pages of text—and runs far deeper than the problematic relationship between the president and Oren's boss, Benjamin Netanyahu."
.
But though Oren, a respected historian and no right-wing ideologue, tempers his account with paeans to the goodwill of some figures in the administration and stops well short of attributing to nObama any ill wishes about Israel's survival, the reaction to his book from Washington has been furious.
.
That rage and the willingness of some Israeli politicians to kowtow to the pretense that everything is awesome between the Jewish state and nObama won't fix the problem that Oren has illustrated. To the contrary, if the relationship is to be repaired in the coming years, it will require the kind of honesty Oren has displayed.
.
The official position of the administration about Oren's book is that his account doesn't reflect reality and that he is nothing more than a politician who is seeking to sell books. State Department Spokesman Dan Kirby, who made a fool of himself on his first day on the job by trying to claim that Secretary of State hanoi John Kerry had not reversed himself on the conditions for an Iran deal, called the book "absolutely inaccurate and false" without actually contradicting a single fact in it.
.
hanoi Kerry and U.S. Ambassador to Israel Dan Shapiro similarly trashed Oren, claiming his account of nObama's hostility to Israel during last summer's war when the U.S. not only stopped arms shipments but also handed Hamas a victory by stopping American flights to Ben Gurion Airport was "imaginary."
.
Not satisfied with that, they demanded that Prime Minister Netanyahu disavow Oren's accounts of events. That Netanyahu refused to so even though Oren joined a different political party and didn't hesitate to criticize the prime minister, both in the book and in the campaign for the Knesset earlier this year, is very much to his credit.
.
Less honorable was the speed with which Oren's political ally, Kulanu Party head Moshe Kahlon, denounced the book and praised nObama. The same was true of Likud politician Gilad Erdan who rushed to attack Oren.
.
The motives for these denunciations are obvious. The president knows that the truth about his hostility to Israel is not only politically damaging but extremely ill timed. With the Iran nuclear agreement likely to be signed this summer, the administration wants to portray itself as a loyal friend to Israel in order to convince a skeptical Congress that this weak pact isn't a betrayal of the Jewish state.
.
On the other hand, unprincipled and opportunistic Israeli politicians like Kahlon and Erdan want to be viewed favorably in Washington because they think it gives them a leg up at home.
.
Is there an argument to be made for keeping quiet about the way nObama has sought, as Oren tells us, to downgrade the alliance? Might not Israel be better served by pretending that everything is okay while waiting and hoping for the election of a better ally next year? That's the instinct of many Israelis but they are mistaken. There may be times when silence is wise but given the nature of the threats to Israel and the extent of the damage done by nObama over the past years, now is the time for some truth.
.
The angry denials of tension by the Americans and the obsequious flattery of nObama by some Israelis might lead us to think that Oren is exaggerating things. But the former ambassador, whose even-handed account is highly critical of some decisions made by Netanyahu's government, merely wrote what everyone who follows the Middle East knows.
.
This administration came into office seeking to distance itself from Israel and has not missed an opportunity to ambush the Israelis and to tilt the diplomatic playing field in the direction of their foes.
.
There is also no secret about the fact that these efforts did nothing to advance the cause of peace or the interests of the U.S. or Israel. And that is why Oren's truth telling is so important at this moment in history.
.
nObama's hostility to Israel has deepened the conviction on the part of the Palestinians that they needn't compromise to make peace. Similarly, Iran has come to view the nObama administration as not only a soft touch in the nuclear negotiations but also not a stalwart ally to either Israel or the Arab nations that fear Tehran as much as Jerusalem does.
.
What has happened on nObama's watch has not merely created tension in the U.S.-Israel alliance, it has undermined the ability of the United States to be a force for stability or good in the Middle East.
.
Though, as Oren has made clear, the security relationship between the two countries remains strong, the perception that the U.S. no longer may have Israel's back at the United Nations or when it is under attack by terrorist foes like Hamas makes the already dim chances for peace even slimmer.
.
nObama may long, as he made clear in a recent speech, for a mythical Israel of the past but the more complex vibrant democracy that exists in reality is materially damaged by his efforts to isolate it.
.
Honesty about the problems he has created is the first step toward fixing them and re-establishing the united front between the two allies that is the prerequisite for stability in the Middle East.
.
That's a lesson that both American and Israeli politicians need to take to heart.

DEMS CONFRONT PAST FAILURES ON GUN CONTROL
“When I ran in 2008, I in fact did not say I would fix it. I said we could fix it.” –President nObama at a Beverly Hills fundraiser discussing the mass murder at a Charleston, S.C. church.
The only really clear mandate after President nObama’s 2012 re-election was to not be Mitt Romney. nObama had won more in spite of his policies than because of them, but had successfully convinced voters that Romney was too risky a pick.
After the grindingest grind of an election in presidential political history, nObama had won another term of what, exactly? Endless battles with the GOP House on taxes and spending? Foreign policy headaches? More scorched earth fights protecting nObamaCare? Blech.
But at that very moment, a meteor crashed into American public life: The senseless slaughter of 20 children and six educators at a Connecticut elementary school less than two weeks before Christmas. A fatherless, mentally ill 20-year-old had killed his mother, stolen her guns and laid waste to a group of students at a nearby school, all aged 6 and 7.
nObama wept in private and shed tears in public, as most parents must have. He also found new purpose for the second term of his presidency. Two days after the murders, nObama would make a mighty vow: “In the coming weeks, I will use whatever power this office holds to engage my fellow citizens … in an effort aimed at preventing more tragedies like this.”
As an orthodox liberal, nObama had always been a proponent of gun control. But it had hardly been a top-drawer concern. For example, when a gunman killed 13 people at an immigration center in Binghamton, N.Y. in April of 2009, nObama called it “senseless violence,” but did not demand that the Democratic-controlled Congress push through gun control.
The Connecticut killings, different in nature and coming as they did when nObama was looking to do more than just defend his legacy, spurred him headlong into the divided Congress with demands for the most sweeping gun control legislation since the Clinton era. Even though the legislation wouldn’t have prevented the shooting had it been in place, gun violence became the animating issue for the Democratic Party.
The legislation was cued up and public pressure was enormous. The daily shouts from television, social media and elsewhere were for action, action, action. But before too long, Democrats lost their nerve. Then-Senate Majority Leader dinky Harry Reid ended up killing even a compromise package that would have required background checks at gun shows and for private sales. All the thunder came to naught.
          And here we are again.
This time it is nine Christians at worship at a historic church in Charleston, S.C. The place that once heard the exultant cries of freed slaves heard the anguished ones of murder victims.
It would be wholly unfair to say that the legislation proposed by the president would have in any way prevented the killings. But one wonders why a party and a president who believed that more gun regulations would save lives gave up so easily.
“Can government save you? Can government be the be-all end-all? The reason I ask is that I meet with pastors, and they're looking at government for the answers. I look back at them and I say, 'I'm looking at you for help.'" – Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., at a meeting of the Faith and Freedom Coalition.
“I hope we, the American people, can come to the understanding that we are not each other’s enemies.  The enemies are those who are stoking the flames of division, trying to divide us into every category and weakening us as a society.” –Ben Carson on “The Kelly File”  -Fox News

‘CLINTON INC.’ PAID EVEN BIGGER BUCKS TO BLUMENTHAL
Fox News:  “Clinton confidant [Sidney Blumenthal] under scrutiny on Capitol Hill over detailed Libya memos he sent to then-Secretary of State Hilly Clinton told lawmakers earlier this week he has been pulling in $200,000 a year from Clinton ally David Brock’s media operation, congressional sources tell FoxNews.com.….The money was in addition to the $10,000 a month he was getting for work with the Clinton Foundation.  ‘He was getting, from Clinton, Inc., $320,000 a year,’ one source told FoxNews.com…. The source said Blumenthal has been working with Media Matters, American Bridge and Correct the Record…. Though it's unclear exactly what Blumenthal was paid to do, Politico reported his work entailed giving high-level strategy and messaging guidance, and the Benghazi debate was likely part of that.  Clinton doubles down on executive amnesty –  USA TODAY: “SpeakingThursday before the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials, Clinton [said]… she would fight for comprehensive immigration reform that includes ‘a real path to citizenship’ for the more than 11 million undocumented immigrants who have settled in the United States…oppose any move to deport the young immigrants known as ’Dreamers’ or to undo President nObama’s executive actions that are shielding millions of immigrants from enforcement action.  Supreme Court caught messing with marriage case?
(Bob Unruh) ~ A series of events that has been described as a “troubling turn” has been found to have taken place at the U.S. Supreme Court regarding the justices’ looming decision on marriage – whether they will affirm the millennia old standard of one man and one woman or whether they will create a right to homosexual “marriage.”... The report is from the law firm of William J. Olson, P.C., the workplace of Olson, who served in several positions for the Reagan administration, and Herb Titus, a longtime constitutional law professor. The organization has issued a series of reports on the issue of marriage, under funding from the United States Justice Foundation.

PENTAGON CONFIRMS ISIS 'DIRTY BOMB' CLAIMS
(F. Michael Maloof) ~ The Pentagon has confirmed to WND that the Islamic State has seized enough radioactive materials from captured Iraqi facilities to develop “dirty bombs,” just as ISIS’ recent English-language magazine, Dabiq, claimed... The ISIS claim had alarmed the Australian intelligence service, which initially revealed the prospect that ISIS fighters have seized sufficient radioactive and biological materials from research centers and hospitals – which previously were under Iraqi government control. Such seizures were first revealed at a meeting of the Australia Group in Perth, Australia, at which Australian Foreign Minister Julie Bishop expressed the deep concern of members of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization and regional partners over the potential use by ISIS of the seized materials.

Anatomy of an nObamacare 'death spiral'
(Robert King) ~ The court is expected to rule soon on King v. Burwell, a case that challenges the federal government's authority to provide subsidies for 34 states that did not set up their own healthcare exchanges... More than 6 million people could lose subsidies if the court rules in favor of King. If such a ruling occurs and no action by Congress is taken, there is a "100 percent chance" of a death spiral for the insurance marketplaces in those states, said Gary Claxton, vice president of the left-leaning Kaiser Family Foundation. A death spiral occurs when an insurance market is no longer sustainable. It commonly starts when there are too many sick people in the insurance pool and insurers are forced to raise prices to pay for their care.        http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/anatomy-of-an-obamacare-death-spiral/article/2566684

The progressive roots of NSA's privacy violations
(conservativehq.com) ~ Conservatives are becoming more attuned to how the Fourth Amendment protects the security of quintessential personal and property rights from lawless, Orwellian big government... Today CHQ contributor Mark Fitzgibbons has an op/ed at Washington Examiner that helps explain why the NSA’s controversial, warrantless collection of metadata of all Americans is not only a radical expansion beyond previous Fourth Amendment interpretation, but has roots in progressive New Deal ideology. That progressive ideology is hostile to property and individual rights that have made America exceptional. In "The progressive roots of NSA's privacy violations," Fitzgibbons writes: “A 1946 (New Deal) opinion in Oklahoma Press Publishing Co. v. Walling . . . upheld judge-less “administrative subpoenas” issued by bureaucrats. One justice dissented. Citing the Declaration of Independence and even hinting that judge-less administrative subpoenas approved in that case were the stuff that had previously contributed to "successful revolt," liberal Democrat Justice Frank Murphy’s dissent warned his Democrat-appointed brethren about the consequences of their dangerous direction.”        http://www.conservativehq.com/node/20500

(gopthedailydose.com) ~ As is typical during the Muslim fast, Ramadan, Israel is witnessing a surge in Palestinian terror attacks... Last Friday, a Palestinian terrorist gunned down two Israeli men near the Israeli settlement of Dolev in Samaria (Northern West Bank). Danny Gonen, 25, an electrical engineering student from Lod and the eldest of five siblings, was shot several times at point blank range and was killed. His friend, Netanel Hadad, was moderately injured. The lone gunman flagged down their car, asking for assistance as they drove slowly on a gravel path from the Ein Buvin spring where they had been swimming. When they got out of the car to help him, the Palestinian pulled out a gun and murdered Gonen in cold blood before wounding his friend.        http://gopthedailydose.com/2015/06/22/wave-of-terror-hits-israel-after-it-gives-in-to-obamas-demand-for-trust-building-measures-with-palestinians/

George W. Bush Wins Father of the Year
(Onan Coca) ~ This past week a special celebration took place in New York City. The award for “Father of the Year” was given to a very famous ex-President. Former President George W. Bush was named the Father of the Year on June 18th and his daughter Barbara was on hand to present him with the award... During the ceremony he let the crowd have a inside glimpse at his life, reading from a book that he wrote about his father, George H.W. Bush, he said;  “I also learned of unconditional love. It’s one of the greatest gifts a dad can give a child, which leads me to a fitting reading I’m about to do and a practical one. Fitting because I’m about to read from the book that I wrote about my dad. Practical because I’m retired and I hope people buy it. It may be a little confusing for some up here to know that not only can I read, I can write.”       http://lastresistance.com/12322/george-w-bush-wins-father-of-the-year-following-in-ronald-reagans-footsteps/

How Did Valerie Jarrett Pass A Background Check
(Denise Simon) ~ Now this also begs the question, what did nObama know, did he approve and what is he going to do now?... FBI Files Document Communism in Valerie Jarrett’s Family. Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) files obtained by Judicial Watch reveal that the dad, maternal grandpa and father-in-law of President Obama’s trusted senior advisor, Valerie Jarrett, were hardcore Communists under investigation by the U.S. government. Jarrett’s dad, pathologist and geneticist Dr. James Bowman, had extensive ties to Communist associations and individuals, his lengthy FBI file shows. In 1950 Bowman was in communication with a paid Soviet agent named Alfred Stern, who fled to Prague after getting charged with espionage. Bowman was also a member of a Communist-sympathizing group called the Association of Internes and Medical Students. After his discharge from the Army Medical Corps in 1955, Bowman moved to Iran to work, the FBI records show.

Frivolous Feminism and the $10 Bill
(totalconservative.com) ~ In one of the most obvious bits of pandering we’ve seen from this administration, Treasury Secretary Jack Lew announced this week that there will soon be a woman gracing the front of our $10 bills... That the federal government is taking action on this now speaks to the effectiveness of the feminist movement to put a woman on the $20. Apparently by going with the ten-spot instead, nObama believes he can avoid looking like he bends whichever way the wind blows. Mission, ah, failed. Now, clearly there’s nothing wrong with putting a woman on the currency. It’s probably long overdue. But one has to wonder why it matters at all. Is this really moving forward women’s equality in the world? If nObama gives women the $10, will women agree not to vote for Hilly Clinton? Let’s have a little give and take here. The feminists can have Harriet Tubman or whoever on the money, and we’ll put another man in the White House in 2016. Fair? Everyone in agreement? Good, let’s move on.

nObama Says “N” Word In Describing Race Relations
(rickwells.us) ~ In the midst of one of his lecturing philosophical “Know It All” dissertations, Hussein nObama did what for any white president would have been political suicide. He used the “N” word... It wasn’t a slip, he made no apology at the time, and he said what he meant to say. nObama always preaches one thing and does another, and this is no different. His Marxist equality for all presidents regardless of skin color doesn’t apply to their words. Just as the law doesn’t apply to him and his underlings, neither does good taste or proper presidential etiquette. It’s understandable; he’s not a proper president. Why should he be expected to speak like one?        http://rickwells.us/obama-says-n-word-in-describing-race-relations-leftist-do-as-i-say-dont-say-as-i-do/

(jewishworldreview.com) ~ "G0D," Friedrich Nietzsche famously declared, "is dead."
.
G0D, it has been noted, made a similar yet more lasting pronouncement about Nietzsche.
.
But before the German philosopher departed this mortal coil, he had some interesting things to say. Nietzsche argued that one of the most powerful forces in society was "ressentiment." Similar to the everyday word "resentment," ressentiment lay at the heart of new kinds of morality. In ancient times, nobility was associated with power. The downtrodden, the poor, the weak, the enslaved were ignoble.
.
The masses of have-nots, to use a more modern language, resented their plight for understandable reasons. But they were too weak to launch a real, armed revolution. Instead, the powerless resorted to a moral revolution, assaulting the concepts of nobility, goodness and morality and rendering them evil in the popular imagination.
.
Wrote Nietzsche in his "Genealogy of Morals": "It was the Jews who, with awe-inspiring consistency, dared to invert the aristocratic value-equation (good = noble = powerful = beautiful = happy = beloved of G0D) and to hang on to the inversion with their teeth ..., saying 'the wretched alone are the good; the poor, impotent, lowly alone are the good; the suffering, deprived, sick, ugly alone are pious, alone are blessed by G0D ...'"
.
Nietzsche wasn't a historian, but a literary philosopher. He didn't rely on many primary sources -- and it wouldn't have occurred to him to cite actual data of any kind. And he certainly had the devil's gift for quoting scripture. So one needn't agree with all he said, never mind take it as authoritative, to see that he was on to something about the cycles of civilizations. One can reject his writings completely while still acknowledging his impact on our society.
.
In 2015, our society is shot through with Nietzschean ressentiment. Today it is a great sin on college campuses -- and elsewhere! -- to make anyone other than the "privileged" feel uncomfortable, challenged or otherwise psychologically threatened by the use of the wrong words or concepts.
.
The University of California recently issued a set of guidelines about the terrible danger of "micro-aggressions" -- small, usually unintended slights that allegedly hurt the feelings of the newly anointed classes of victims. One must no longer say that America is a "melting pot," for to do so is to suggest that minorities should "assimilate to the dominant culture," according to the new moralists at the University of California.
.
And one mustn't say anything that advances "the Myth of Meritocracy." Saying "America is the land of opportunity" or "everyone can succeed in this society if they work hard enough" is now a form of bigotry.
.
Of course, the surest way to guarantee that America is not a meritocracy is to teach young people not only that it isn't one, but that it's evil to say it is, or should be, one.
.
Ressentiment is first and foremost the psychology of blame. It surveys the social landscape and blames the failures and hardships of the alleged have-nots on the successes of the haves. It is more than envy, which is a timeless human emotion -- and one of the seven deadly sins. It is a theory of morality that says the success of the successful is proof of their wickedness.
.
Such is the allure of ressentiment today that it produces creatures like Rachel Dolezal, the blue-eyed white woman who had to invent an entire narrative around her stolen fictional identity as an oppressed black woman.
.
Such is the political power of ressentiment that Hilly Clinton, who earns in a one-hour speech five times what the average American makes in a year, feels compelled to campaign as a "champion" for all those who feel micro- (or macro-) aggressed by a system rigged by the very same institutions she is happy to shake down for donations. (When asked to explain the contradiction on "Fox News Sunday," a Clinton spokeswoman pointed to the fact that Clinton's mother had been downtrodden in her youth.)
.
When Nietzsche said "G0D is dead," he meant that there was no longer an ideal outside of ourselves to which we're all answerable. Everything was a contest of power and will. America isn't there yet, thank G0D. But it surely seems like that is where we are heading.

Say, That Gruber Guy Actually Did Work Closely With Obama

Remember Jonathan Gruber, the MIT professor who served as a key architect of ObamaCare? The one who mocked “the stupidity of the American voter” as he and his elitist buddies crammed the law down our throats? The one whose string of condescending remarks on ObamaCare’s deceptive core were caught on video and released to the public? Naturally, Barack Obama tried to throw Gruber under the bus once he had become politically inconvenient, dismissing him as “some adviser who never worked on our staff” and had little to do with crafting ObamaCare. But according to a series of emails sent from the House Oversight Committee to The Wall Street Journal, Gruber had quite a lot to do with ObamaCare after all. “His proximity to HHS and the White House was a whole lot tighter than they admitted,” said Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-UT), chairman of the House Oversight Committee. “There’s no doubt he was a much more integral part of this than they’ve said. He put up this facade he was an arm’s length away. It was a farce.” Indeed, Jeanne Lambrew, a top administration official at HHS, thanked Gruber for being an “integral part” in foisting ObamaCare on the nation. And Gruber was in contact with the highest level Obama advisers on the law, from Lawrence Summers to Peter Orszag to Jason Furman to Ezekiel Emanuel. This is simply more confirmation of ObamaCare’s foundation of lies. As if we needed any more proof.

SCOTUS and the Raisin Hope for Property Rights

Marvin Horne of Fresno, California, has been vindicated. Yesterday, the Supreme Court ruled 8-1 that if the Raisin Administrative Committee was going to take Horne’s raisins it needed to compensate the farmer. In Horne v. Department of Agriculture, Horne refused to give up his raisins to the Raisin Administrative Committee and the agency was fining him at the tune of $695,000. The committee is a New Deal-era program designed to control the supply of raisins so the prices remain artificially high. It would take a portion of farmers' grapes and either donate them to school lunch programs or sell them overseas. Farmers used to be compensated, but then the payout dwindled to nothing. The Ninth Circuit Court originally ruled in favor of the administrative committee, saying the Constitution’s Taking Clause only covered real estate, but Chief Justice John Roberts, writing the majority opinion, ruled, “Government has a categorical duty to pay just compensation when it takes your car, just as when it takes your home.” This ruling comes 10 years after the bungled SCOTUS ruling in Kelo v. New London, which said the city of New London could take the home of Susette Kelo and give her property to a private developer. Currently, Kelo’s pink home is demolished and the lot stands empty. While the raisin ruling is a step in the right direction, it will take years before the government fully moves past Kelo and respects the property of the citizens.

Pentagon Ships Military Off to Battle ‘Climate Change’

In January 2012, Barack Obama said, “As we look beyond the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan … we’ll be able to ensure our security with smaller conventional ground forces.” In other words, even though America’s military is being downsized, our military prowess will remain untarnished. “[Y]es, our military will be leaner, but the world must know the United States is going to maintain our military superiority with armed forces that are agile, flexible and ready for the full range of contingencies and threats,” he explained. Who knew that meant documenting the effects of climate change — even as terrorism-fueled crises in the Middle East rage on? According to The Washington Times, “Though stretched thin by the aftermath of two wars and the current fight against the Islamic State, the Obama administration has enlisted the Pentagon to measure the shrinking ice in the Arctic in the latest example of the president’s climate agenda being extended to the military. A recent Government Accountability Office report examined the Defense Department’s role in the Arctic, which increasingly will include ‘monitoring the changing Arctic conditions,’ such as ice levels.” America’s retreat — not climate change, as this administration posits — facilitated the Islamic State’s rise. And pulling even more resources away from the real fight to wage war on a straw man isn’t going to make them go away.

Charleston and the Confederate Flag Battle

By Nate Jackson

2015-06-23-edf65956_large.png

With every murderous rampage committed by a sociopath, the Left exploits the tragedy to push its agenda of taking Liberty from all of us. In recent years, that’s generally meant two things: gun control or racial grievance. The horrific murders of nine black Christians in Charleston by a white supremacist provided an opportunity to bring the two issues together.

Barack Obama, as usual, weighed in on both. He called for more gun control, and then he denounced the Confederate flag flying on the grounds of the South Carolina capitol as a racist symbol. It’s the latter that’s become a rallying point for leftists as well as Republicans eager to shed the racist label.

South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, a Republican, said Monday, “It’s time to move the flag from the Capitol grounds.” Sen. Lindsey Graham, a GOP presidential candidate, and Tim Scott, the first black Republican senator elected in the South since Reconstruction, likewise called for its removal. That provides political cover for state Republicans to vote to take it down.

Of course, given the prominence of South Carolina in the presidential primary season, the Leftmedia gleefully makes the Confederate flag an issue for Republicans every presidential cycle.

But that’s awfully odd since Democrats are the ones who raised it at the South Carolina capitol in 1962. Democrats are the party of Jim Crow and segregation — the ones in KKK robes who sullied the banner of Gen. Robert E. Lee’s Army of Northern Virginia with racial overtones.Democrats Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter campaigned with the flag before it was uncool to do so.Democrats push for an ever-higher minimum wage, which all too often leaves blacks unemployed and enslaved on the Left’s deliberately institutionalized urban poverty plantations.

Yet somehow the Confederate flag is a Republican problem.

Speaking of racism, know what else is racist? Gun control. It was originally conceived in the South to prevent blacks from owning firearms. Even now, proponents of gun control rarely lament the lives lost due to inner city gang violence.

Who else is racist? Barack Obama, whose roots of racial hatred run deep, and who stirs the pot by using the “n” word.

As for the flag itself, Leland Summers, head of the state’s chapter of the Sons of Confederate Veterans, dismissed the Left’s complaint: “Do not associate the cowardly actions of a racist to our Confederate Banner. There is absolutely no link between The Charleston Massacre and The Confederate Memorial Banner. Don’t try to create one.”

He’s right in part, though it’s not that simple. It’s undeniable that the Confederate States propagated slavery — an institution Gen. Lee called “a great political and moral evil” — and that the Confederate flag in whatever form brings that to mind. The Union was hardly innocent in this regard, however. Abraham Lincoln harbored his own racism and favored solving slavery by sending blacks back to Africa. Yet no one seems to associate the American flag with such things.

Democrats made the Confederate banner a symbol of racism at KKK rallies, and now they have successfully turned a large portion of the populace against it. When a racist murderer used the Confederate battle flag as a background for his pictures, it only reinforced the link. Democrats fully intend to use the issue to rally blacks around Hillary Clinton, hoping “racist” Republicans would squirm to avoid calling for the flag’s removal. If South Carolina Republicans do remove it, the issue will be somewhat diffused — though nothing will ever be enough for the Left.

“I think compromising with the left on this issue is not worth it because the left is only politicizing this issue to advance their agenda,” wrote Red State’s Erick Erickson. “Once the flag is gone, the left will advance to the next issue then the next issue, etc. They won’t compromise. There is no compromise. There is only conversion or censorship with the left.”

For most of those who fly Lee’s banner today, they intend it as homage to the honorable part of their heritage. Certainly those of us at The Patriot Post with long family history in the South view it that way. The vast majority of Southerners did not own slaves and their descendants reject the idea that they (read: we) are to blame for that horrific institution. Yet the modern Left is intent on blaming all Southerners — especially Republicans — for slavery and all racism, which has in part served to make the flag a symbol of defiance akin to the Gadsden flag of the Tea Party.

That said, it’s perhaps too much to ask of our public-school educated population to think of history with such nuance and understanding. And it’s likely the only politically tenable and prudent move for Republicans to concede the point.

OPINION IN BRIEF

Thomas Sowell: “The fact that many people are still prepared to vote for Hillary Clinton to be President of the United States, in times made incredibly dangerous by the foreign policy disasters on her watch as Secretary of State, raises painful questions about this country. A President of the United States — any president — has the lives of more than 300 million Americans in his or her hands, and the future of Western civilization. If the debacles and disasters of the Obama administration have still not demonstrated the irresponsibility of choosing a president on the basis of demographic characteristics, it is hard to imagine what could. With our enemies around the world arming while we are disarming, such self-indulgent choices for president can leave our children and grandchildren a future that will be grim, if not catastrophic.”

SHORT CUTS

Insight: “I dread government in the name of science. That is how tyrannies come in. In every age the men who want us under their thumb, if they have any sense, will put forward the particular pretension which the hopes and fears of that age render most potent.” —C. S. Lewis (1898-1963)

The BIG Lie: “We were able to bring to conclusion two long and costly wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and [Hillary Clinton] was very much involved in supporting those transitions.” —National Security Adviser and former Ambassador to the United Nations Susan Rice struggling to come up with an accomplishment of the Democrats' inevitable candidate (And never mind that Obama and Clinton lost the Iraq war.)

Demo-gogues: “Here in America, many people personally don’t know someone who is Muslim. They mostly hear about Muslims in the news — and that can obviously lead to a very distorted impression.” —Barack Obama

Non Compos Mentis: “What would I do with white people who use the N-word? Jail them.” —Piers Morgan

Village Idiots: “Too many black people are niggerized. I would say the first black president has become the first niggerized black president. A niggerized black person is a black person who is afraid and scared and intimidated when it comes to putting a spotlight on white supremacy and fighting against white supremacy.” —Princeton professor Cornel West

Alpha Jackass: “[O]ur nation is paying a high price for our devotion to guns and faith in their capacity to keep us safe. … Our nation is dying a violent death, and the National Rifle Association and other gun valorizing groups will be etched across the death certificate.” —Harvard University professor Jonathan L. Another American Muslim ‘misunderstanding’ Islam in exactly the same way as millions of other devout Muslims.

Seriously, folks, who are the misunderstanders? The devout or the apologists? Chris Cuomo or Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi?

How did this understanding of Islam become so widespread? And while Muslims in the US condemn the Islamic State, where are they teaching against the ideology that gave rise to it?

Right now, nothing is being done to stop jihad recruiting in US mosques, even as several hundred young Muslims from the US have gone to wage jihad.

An Insider Account: Obama’s Jihad Against the Jews

In my 2010 book, The Post-American Presidency: The Obama Administration’s War on America, I meticulously documented Obama’s antisemitic upbringing and the resulting allegiances, alliances and ‘friendships.” I unequivocally warned the disastrous consequences of a jihad-supporting commander-in-chief. Specifically, the chapters entitled “The indoctrination of Barack Obama,” “Obama and the Jews,” “Obama and Israel,” and “Obama and Iran” foretold what was to come. How right I was.

I believe that Obama’s deep-seated hatred of Israel stems from his Islamic studies as a young boy in Indonesia. According to fellow classmates, Obama excelled in Quran classes, and...

Michelle Obama recently visited the U.K., where, according to The Mirror, she “compared her struggle to succeed as a young black woman in America to the experience of inner-city Muslim girls.”

She “struggled to hold back tears,” said the Mirror, as she spoke to an audience of hijab-wearing Muslim girls at the Mulberry School for Girls in London’s notorious Muslim area, Tower Hamlets.

“Girls like you inspire me and impress me...

Jihad preacher intimidates UK cop into removing pro-military wristband

Constable Allerston is symbolic of what is wrong with the UK today, and of why British society is in such deep crisis. He had nothing to be ashamed up. He should have stuck up for his country and its military forces, instead of kowtowing to this preacher of hatred and violence. But he is just one small cog in a huge machine of capitulation.

“Met Police officer ‘removes his Help for Heroes charity wristband’ after being harangued by hate preacher in the street,” by Jay Akbar, Mailonline, June 21, 2015:

A Metropolitan Police officer appears to have taken his Help for Heroes wristband off after being grilled by a hate preacher in East London who said he should not be displaying a ‘political agenda’.

“We have chosen the way of the jihad and we will continue to follow it.” Yet the Western media and political elites continue to insist that people like Nabil Benkaddour don’t know what the way of jihad is, and aren’t following it. They do not explain how this misunderstanding of jihad and Islam became so […]

WILL YOU LISTEN TO RON PAUL?

By: Juan Reynoso, WTP Activist - clearglobal2016@gmail.com

Americas must realize that self-scrutiny is not treason. Self-examination is not disloyalty.

An informed citizenry is vital for the preservation of our democracy. Truth and knowledge diffused among the people are necessary for the preservation of our Democracy, rights, freedom and liberties.

Will you listen to Ron Paul and take an action to save your economy welfare?

http://ronpaulupdate.com/?cid=MKT033949&eid=MKT065663&gclid=CODRjMKto8YCFYU6aQodrkoC5A

Fellow Americans, economics is the general causes on which the future welfare of human beings depend. Ron Paul for years has informed the American people of the ill economic policies of our country, but most politicians and the general public fail to listen. Do your own research and take action to insure our economic and welfare. We let the Federal Reserve Bank, the Washington politicians, the oligarchs of this country and the predator corporate system to dictate the future of our country’s economic and our economy and welfare and today, we are on the path of our own economic demise because we trust them; they all betray us; with lies and deception they implemented policies that made them rich and controllers of our economic and our welfare.  Extreme poverty and poverty is increasing and the middleclass is shrinking, but we have hope.  We can survive this catastrophe by working together and restore our trust on each other; the base of our trust must be our love for our country, our liberty and our economy freedom. United we can deal with any adversity; we are a resourceful people full of creativity and determination to survive this economy catastrophe.

Here is the solution; form cooperatives base on our American principles and commitment to our community and our voluntary adhesion to a democratic management, economic participation, autonomy, education and cooperation among cooperatives. Cooperatives are a socio-economic doctrine that enables communities and groups to share in achieving their common wellbeing. This sharing consists of continual, daily work in a spirit of collaboration and solidarity. Organizing out of need in the face of this economy adversity is a must to our economy survival. We must form State credit unions and loan cooperatives to stop this predator banking system and banking usury and strengthening our economy. We must develop a self-help system and relationships to build cooperatives to explore the potentialities and possibilities to create jobs and build sustainable community economies. The choice is ours we must take action now, freedom or economic slavery; this is a must to our economy survival and prosperity.

STIMULUS WHISTLEBLOWER: ‘WE MISLED CONGRESS’  Judson Berger has the goods: “On paper, it sounded like a true government success story: The Social Security Administration in September opened a ‘state-of-the-art’ data center in Maryland, housing wage and benefit information on almost every American, ‘on time and under budget.’ However, six years after Congress approved a half-billion dollars for the project -- the largest building project funded by the 2009 stimulus -- a whistleblower says the center was built on a lie. ‘We misled Congress,’ Michael Keegan, a former associate commissioner who worked on the project, told [Fox News].”  -Fox News

Maybe It's Not a 'Gun Problem'
It took Barack nObama just 12 hours to classify the senseless killings in Charleston as a "gun problem," exploiting the blood of innocents as political fodder to advance his gun control agenda. In a press conference Thursday, nObama asserted, "At some point, we as a country will have to reckon with the fact that this type of mass violence does not happen in other advanced countries." Unless you count all the "mass violence ... in other advanced countries" like the recent Charlie Hebdo attack in France, where eleven were murdered. Oh wait, the Paris hate crime was perpetrated by Islamists — nObama doesn't count those (see Ft. Hood attack). But it was a nice sound bite. Moreover, other countries have not deliberately institutionalized urban poverty plantations, which have become mass breeding grounds for such violence. That is the inconvenient truth nObama will never mention. Alveda King, NAACP member, Christian civil rights activist and niece of civil rights leader Martin Luther King, Jr., acutely observes, "To politicize this by calling for gun control — we already know that gun control is not going to stop the violence. Only a change of heart is going to do that."  -The Patriot Post

GOP Must Decide nObamaCare Policy Before SCOTUS Rules
The Supreme Court could issue a ruling as early as Monday in King v. Burwell, the case regarding whether the federal government overstepped its authority in paying out subsidies to those purchasing health insurance on the federal nObamaCare exchange. The GOP has been preparing for this moment for awhile now. If the Court strikes down the subsidies, a legislative fix will be needed, and proposals have been coming in from all sides of the conservative spectrum. Sen. Ron Johnson proposed extending the subsidies to 2017, as a Republican administration may occupy the White House then. The Heritage Foundation suggested repealing the subsidies. And Rep. Paul Gosar unveiled his Premium Reduction and Insurance Market Reform Act, a bill that would end subsidies and also end regulations like the age rating restriction. Now it is up to the Republican leadership in Congress to plot a policy and strategy to enact a conservative reform to nObamaCare. Chief Executive for Heritage Action for America Michael Needham said, "A continuation of illegal subsidies will simply cover up the law's costs while giving the impression Republicans believe subsidies are necessary for Americans to afford health insurance." But that option is tempting GOP leadership, as Barack nObama and the Left will make a King v. Burwell fallout politically fraught.   -The Patriot Post

Texas to Take Back $1 Billion in Gold From the Fed
Texas no longer trusts our nation's central bank to safely store its gold in New York City. For years, the Lone Star State has kept its $1 billion in gold in the hands of the Federal Reserve Bank, which has safeguarded the bullion of the U.S. government, foreign governments and other major organizations. But now, the state is setting up its own bullion depository and will soon withdraw its gold from Fed control. "Today I signed HB 483 to provide a secure facility for the State of Texas, state agencies and Texas citizens to store gold bullion and other precious metals," Texas Gov. Greg Abbott said in a statement June 12. "With the passage of this bill, the Texas Bullion Depository will become the first state-level facility of its kind in the nation, increasing the security and stability of our gold reserves and keeping taxpayer funds from leaving Texas to pay for fees to store gold in facilities outside our state." The move could be as simple as Texas stepping up and taking responsibility for its own assets, as well as providing a place for Texas citizens to store gold. Or, as CBS notes, it could be a step toward establishing a currency if Texas were to secede from the union. Regardless, it's a Texas two-step toward greater autonomy.  -The Patriot Post

Pat Buchanan
Pope An Argentine Jesuit Socialist With No Infallibility On Climate
(rickwells.us) ~ The question asked of Patrick J. Buchanan is whether the Pope’s advocacy on behalf of the hoax of climate change has now made it apostasy for Catholics to count themselves among the realists who understand his false proclamations... Buchanan, a Catholic and a climate realist who recognizes that a fraud is being perpetrated, doesn’t hold back in his criticism of the climate-based world government maneuvering. In keeping with his religious beliefs, Buchanan accepts as infallible whatever the Pope says on the issues of his religion. He has a decidedly different opinion when Francis addresses matters outside of his church, which are none of his business.        http://rickwells.us/pat-buchanan-pope-an-argentine-jesuit-socialist-with-no-infallibility-on-climate-change/

Boehner, McCarthy And Scalise Need The Cantor Treatment
(rickwells.us) ~ Politics is not often pretty but the abuse of power currently being displayed by the vindictive, dictatorial backstabber John Boehner is particularly offensive and downright ugly...  Voting one’s conscience in the interests of the citizens is not acceptable behavior in backstabber Boehner’s kingdom. Those who do so risk paying a political price. backstabber Boehner ordered one of his underlings, the surprisingly ruthless Jason Chaffetz (R-UT), to relieve Rep Mark Meadows of his position as a subcommittee chairman under his House Oversight and Government Reform Committee. It seems they take oversight seriously on Chaffetz’s committee, to the point of blind, unquestioned obedience to commands. Perhaps the reform needs to start with the committee itself. backstabber Boehner is sending a message, as he did by removing three disobedient members, Lummis, Pearce and Franks from the Whip Team. Losing the subcommittee chairmanship is the most severe of the penalties yet to be meted out by backstabber Boehner to those showing signs of independent thought.        http://rickwells.us/three-to-go-mark-levin-boehner-mccarthy-and-scalise-need-the-cantor-treatment/

Hilly an unethical, dishonest lawyer, a liar and conspirator
(Suzanne Eovaldi) ~ Circulating throughout Conservative sites this week is information about Hilly being fired by her Watergate supervisor, US HOUSE Judiciary Watergate committee counsel Jerry Zeifman... A close analysis of this bold assertion puts the whole flap into real perspective. When asked in an interview why he terminated Hilly’s employment, Zeifman responded, “Because she was a liar. She was an unethical, dishonest lawyer; she conspired to violate the Constitution, the rules of the HOUSE, the rules of the committee and the rules on confidentiality.”  A Rush Limbaugh transcript stays very close to this syntax. In an article written after a 2008 campaign appearance by candidate Hilly Clinton in Connecticut, Zeifman admitted his regret “…that, when I terminated her employment on the Nixon impeachment staff, I had not reported her unethical practices to the appropriate bar associations.”        http://www.coachisright.com/hillary-an-unethical-dishonest-lawyer-a-liar-and-conspirator-says-watergate-committee-counsel/

Wake Up Kentucky – Mitch McCon-nell Will Be Killing Your Economy
(rickwells.us) ~ We have to wonder if the people of Kentucky realize that their Senator, Mitch McCon-nell, is pushing for an international agreement which will quickly destroy their state... Their economy will implode as TPA forces their coal industry out of business, cripples America and enables predatory nations and corporations around the world to parasitically feed off of the carcass of our once vibrant nation. McCon-nell would be well-advised to move to Washington DC permanently before his fellow Kentuckians wake up, figure out what he’s done to them and go for the tar, feathers and their pitch forks. There’s still a lot of pitchforks in that part of the country and a lot of people who know how to use them. He has completely and undeniably betrayed his neighbors and those he swore to protect from the very type of “climate” legislation which is secretly a component of this pact. Maybe DC isn’t far enough.  Russia – The Horseman of War
(Terresa Monroe-Hamilton) ~ Putin has been hot for the Ukraine and to continue his expansion of the Motherland. However, he seems to have backed off somewhat due to global pressure and financial worries... The radicals within Russia didn’t like that at all and pushed Putin even harder to militarily expand Russia’s reach. At this point, Putin began to bring together a coalition to protect himself and he began transferring power from the Federal Security Bureau to the Ministry of the Interior. That’s akin to taking power from the CIA and giving it to DHS. These two agencies do not play well together. On March 10th, Putin just up and disappeared for ten days. There were a lot of wild theories from the birth of a love child, to a coup. But no one has definitive proof yet. The most plausible explanation is that Putin was held against his will, while power was consolidated within Russia for the FSB and the fascists. He was told to play ball or get ready for the afterlife. This was a show of force by the FSB, Alexander Dugin and the fascists. I’m sure he was told in no uncertain terms to up the military aggression and the process of restoring the motherland. Someone like Putin doesn’t just ‘disappear’ for ten days for no reason. Along with Putin, Victor Zolotov, who controls 200,000 troops for the Ministry of Interior, disappeared with him. One of Putin’s closest crony allies also packed up his whole family, fled the country and simply vanished as well. So, the lines have been drawn in Russia and sides have been taken. Whoever wins, it will be bad for the rest of the world, trust me.       http://noisyroom.net/blog/2015/06/21/russia-the-horseman-of-war/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+Noisyroomnet+%28NoisyRoom.net%29

Tensions build as Supreme Court readies blockbuster rulings
(Lawrence Hurley) ~ Tensions are building inside and outside the white marble facade of the U.S. Supreme Court building as the nine justices prepare to issue major rulings on gay marriage and President Barack nObama's healthcare law by the end of the month... Of the 11 cases left to decide, the biggest are a challenge by gay couples to state laws banning same-sex marriage and a conservative challenge to subsidies provided under the nObamacare law to help low- and middle-income people buy health insurance that could lead to millions of people losing medical coverage. Many legal experts predict the court will legalize gay marriage nationwide by finding that the U.S. Constitution's guarantees of equal treatment under the law and due process prohibit states from banning same-sex nuptials.

(Jerome R. Islam & Liberalism
.
Burt_Header_M2.jpg
.
(burtprelutsky.com) ~ One of the great mysteries of our time is why jihadism is a growth industry. All one should have to do is take a look at the places in the world where Islamics rule the roost to conclude that the only plausible explanation is that those attracted to it must be two-legged swine who, like their four-legged, curly-tailed cousins, long to wallow in mud and slop.
.
I feel the same way about those who call themselves liberals. In what perverse universe would anyone choose to associate with and support the likes of Barack nObama, the Clintons, Elizabeth Warren, Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, dinky Harry Reid, Nancy Pulosi, Al Sharpton, Charley Rangel, Bernie Sanders and Martin O’Malley?
.
♦ It’s no surprise that America’s media prefers ridiculing the GOP for its plethora of presidential candidates rather than pointing out that the three announced Democratic contenders are, one, a woman whose only actual achievements consist of lying, cheating and combining the worst features of Evita Peron, Imelda Marcos and Eva Braun; two, a crazy old coot, Bernie Sanders, who votes like a Democrat, labels himself for marketing purposes as an Independent, but boasts that he’s really a socialist; and, three, the ex-governor of Maryland, Martin O’Malley, who insists he should be the next president, but is too much of a partisan toady to point out all the reasons Hilly Clinton shouldn’t be.
.
As for the Republican contenders, it’s probably a good thing at this early stage that there are so many in the race that nobody can waste our time bad-mouthing the competition and, instead, has to at least try to make a case for him or herself.
.
Of course, that hasn’t prevented the pinheaded Rand Paul from indicting those whom he refers to as Republican hawks for the rise of ISIS. When you couple that with his war on the NSA, going so far as to accuse those Republicans who disagree with him of hoping for another 9/11 just so they can blame him, you wonder if his secret wish is to be Hilly’s running mate.
.
It was bad enough when the diminutive Napoleon Bonaparte had a Napoleonic complex. But at least the Little Corporal, as he was called, managed to lead a major nation and conquer a good portion of Europe before meeting his Waterloo. But, it’s really unseemly for the junior senator from Kentucky, a twerp given to unproductive filibusters and little else, to constantly flaunt his own Napoleonic shortcomings.
.
♦ When liberals address riots and murders in the inner cities of America, they are always claiming the cause is poverty. We all know or should know that’s a lie. What’s lacking, by and large, in the black community isn’t money, but character, values and a sense of personal responsibility. This was brought home when I received the following email from a reader:
.
“I am a white American living in rural Southeast Missouri. The county in which I live is almost all white, and extremely poor. The people I know live on far less than the average rioter in Baltimore. Jobs out here in the country are rare and hard to get, and even if you land one, they don’t pay very well.
.
“However, crime in my part of the woods is almost non-existent. There is a gun in every home, and most years our murder rate is zero. I haven’t locked my backdoor in 20 years and I sleep just fine. There are only two sheriff deputies in the whole county and, at any given time, they are at least 20 minutes away.
.
“According to Democrats, we have every reason to riot. But we don’t. I wonder how they’d explain it.”
.
“They wouldn’t bother,” I replied, “because they know you folks won’t vote for them, no matter how many lies they tell in your defense or how much of other people’s money they offer you.”
.
♦ In the same way, we keep hearing from the Islamic Bund (aka CAIR) every time a Muslim thinks somebody has looked at him cross-eyed. But government statistics bear out the fact that even since 9/11, there have been more acts of violence and vandalism directed at Jews than at Muslims in America and, no doubt, far more verbal assaults on Christians.
.
♦ After pointing out recently that liberals like to portray conservatives as hypocrites because we defend capital punishment while objecting to abortion, it occurred to me that the real hypocrites are those who raise moral objections to executing serial killers, but strongly support murdering innocent babies.
.
But, then, nobody should be terribly surprised that Margaret Sanger, who created Planned Parenthood and provided it with that misnomer, thus earning her place in the Pantheon of Liberalism, alongside the likes of Woodrow Wilson, FDR, LBJ, the nObamas and the Clintons, was a eugenicist widely admired by Adolph Hitler. And why wouldn’t he have a soft spot for Sanger? After all, he shared her conviction that certain groups of people, including blacks, Jews and the feeble-minded, should be eliminated for the good of society.
.
♦ Those of us of a certain age were raised on the truism that in America absolutely anyone could grow up to be president. But is it really necessary that every four years we need to have that point driven home by some mediocrity named Bush or Clinton?
.
♦ Speaking of which, a friend recently reminded me that Pogo, the eponymous possum in Walt Kelly’s old comic strip, was famous for having observed: “We have met the enemy and he is us.”
.
That led me, in the wake of Hilly Clinton’s telling a congressional committee that it made no difference who slaughtered four brave Americans in Libya; nObama’s telling us that everything’s coming up roses in Iraq; and the Pope’s insisting that global warming is the greatest catastrophe facing the world; to fully grasp that the wronger the opinion is, the stronger it will be stated and defended.

Obama’s New ‘Angry’ Standard for Owning Guns

As we have already noted here and here, Barack Obama wants you to believe that the horrific murders in Charleston last week happened because his gun control agenda has been thwarted. In a new interview — part of a comedian’s somehow appropriately titled podcast “WTF With Marc Maron” — Obama blamed the NRA. “Unfortunately, the grip of the NRA on Congress is extremely strong,” he said. “I don’t foresee any legislative action being taken by this Congress.” Fortunately, the Second Amendment, which the NRA defends, still holds sway with enough members of Congress to stop Obama’s agenda. Of course, he trotted out his usual trope about how he concedes “we have to be respectful” of the traditions of “hunting and sportsmanship around firearms,” neither of which have much to do with our rights. But his most worrisome statement was on the standards for background checks, which the Charleston murderer passed. Obama wants those background checks to be even tougher to pass. How tough? Obama asked, “The question is just, is there a way of accommodating that legitimate set of [hunting and sporting] traditions with some common-sense stuff that prevents a 21-year-old who’s angry about something — or confused about something, or is racist, or is deranged — from going into a gun store, and suddenly he’s packing and can do enormous harm?” So now the standard is whether someone is merely angry, confused or racist? Who gets to decide that? If it’s Obama, no Republican would ever be permitted to purchase a gun.

In Charleston, Grace Broke Through

As Dylann Roof sat in the basement of Charleston’s Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church Wednesday evening, he almost didn’t go through with his plot. The church members were “so nice to him,” NBC News reports. But Roof was bent on carrying out his “mission.” In murdering nine people in cold blood, leaving one woman alive, he hoped to ignite a race war. It’s the sum of white supremacist philosophy: Sooner or later the races will descend into violence, and Roof wanted to be the spark. But instead of revenge, Roof was met with something else. In an unusual testimony during a bond hearing, the daughter of Ethel Lance, one of the victims, told Roof, “I forgive you. You took something really precious away from me. I will never talk to her ever again. I will never be able to hold her again. But I forgive you and have mercy on your soul. It hurts me, it hurts a lot of people but God forgive you and I forgive you.” One by one, the representatives of the victims came forward, forgiving Roof, asking him to give his life to Christ. On Sunday, Roof’s plans vaporized as white Christians prayed with black Christians and churches vowed to build relationships with one another. Truth and love transcend racial lines.

EPA Slaps New Regs on Vehicles

The Environmental Protection Agency is heating up. In late May the EPA took additional controlover America’s waterways. Last week it announced plans to regulate aircraft. This week it expanded its reach even further by slapping regulations on larger vehicles. “The Obama administration on Friday proposed tough new standards to reduce pollution from carbon-emitting trucks and vans, the latest move by President Barack Obama to address global warming,” the Associated Press reports. “The new rules … are designed to slash carbon dioxide emissions by 24 percent over the next 12 years while reducing oil consumption by up to 1.8 billion barrels over the lifetime of the vehicles sold under the rule. … The proposed standards would cover model years 2021-2027 and apply to semi-trucks, large pickup trucks and vans, and all types and sizes of buses and work trucks, officials said.” As if this latest power grab isn’t bad enough, the EPA is about to finalize its long-anticipated Clean Power Plan regulating carbon emissions from coal-fired plants. The sad irony is that it’s all being justified by junk science. More…

State Dept. Admits Obama’s Anti-Terror Polices Failed

By Nate Jackson

2015-06-22-596d5b25_large.jpg

This just in from Barack Obama’s never-ending victory lap in the Long War: The State Department issued a notable report Friday indicating that terrorism is on the upswing around the world. Not only that, but Iran has a big hand in it. Clearly, Obama’s boasting in his own successful policies has been, to put it charitably, misplaced.

According to the State Department’s report, terror attacks spiked 35% between 2013 and 2014, while deaths from those attacks rose by a staggering 81%. State called the 2014 attacks “exceptionally lethal,” as 20 of them resulted in more than 100 deaths. Twenty-four Americans were among the nearly 33,000 victims of almost 13,500 attacks.

A major facet of the increase in attacks is that the Islamic State — previously known as the “JV team” — has, according to The Guardian, crippled al-Qaida from within while succeeding in procuring what State’s report called an “unprecedented seizure” of territory in Iraq and Syria. The report found, “The prominence of the threat once posed by core al Qaeda diminished in 2014. … AQ leadership also appeared to lose momentum as the self-styled leader of a global movement in the face of ISIL’s rapid expansion and proclamation of a Caliphate.”

Obama may claim to have “decimated” al-Qaida, but he has done so only by permitting the Islamic State to do it for him. That’s hardly what we’d call a model for success.

Much of the terrorism increase has happened in Iraq, where the Islamic State filled the vacuum left by Obama’s premature withdrawal of American forces. But Syria is also a serious problem, where the report notes that the number of foreign fighters swelling the ranks of the Islamic State “exceeded the rate of foreign fighters who traveled to Afghanistan and Pakistan, Iraq, Yemen or Somalia at any point in the last 20 years.”

Finally, and perhaps of most concern going forward, is that the State Department acknowledges Iran’s major role in sponsoring the increase in terrorism — all while Secretary of State John Kerry negotiates lucrative sanctions relief as part of a lousy nuclear agreement with that nation.

“ISIL and AQ were far from the only serious threat that confronted the United States and its allies,” according to the report. “Iran continued to sponsor terrorist groups around the world, principally through its Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps-Qods Force (IRGC-QF).”

Though Iran is no friend of the Islamic State, its methods don’t differ all that much. “Tehran increased its assistance to Shiite militias fighting in Iraq and continued its long-standing military, intelligence and financial aid to Lebanon’s Hezbollah, Syrian President Bashar Assad’s embattled government and Palestinian groups Hamas and Islamic Jihad,” notes the Associated Press, which added, “While the 388-page [State Department] study said Iran has lived up to interim nuclear deals with world powers thus far, it gave no prediction about how an Iran flush with cash from a final agreement would behave.”

That’s reassuring.

But at least Obama’s worried about it, says White House spokesman Eric Schultz: America’s “grave concern about Iran’s support for terrorism remains unabated. That is all the more reason that we need to make sure they don’t obtain a nuclear weapon.”

If only Obama’s deal would in fact ensure that.

In short, all of Obama’s assurances that terrorists were defeated, decimated or otherwise diminished by his policies were bunk. His policies have failed, and the world is paying the steep price of his “leadership.”

OPINION IN BRIEF

John Goodman: “The Republican Party has four factions, Matthew Dowd announced on This Week with George Stephanopoulos a few weeks ago. They are: the libertarians, the evangelicals, the Tea Party and the establishment. Notice that all four factions are defined by ideas. They are defined by how they think the world should be organized. Can you name the four idea factions that make up the Democratic Party? The problem is that the Democratic Party is not a party of ideas. It is a party of special interests and groups who respond to identity politics. When Clinton announced her candidacy, she carefully went down the list of groups she intended to target: women, minorities (read blacks), Hispanics, immigrants, the LGBT community (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender), etc. … Then of course there are the economic interests, including working women, minimum wage workers, teachers and members of just about every labor union in the country. In all cases the strategy is the same. Attached to every group there is a single issue or a set of issues that is vote-determining. Members of the group may disagree with the candidate on every other issue. But those disagreements don’t matter. Republicans never campaign this way. If they did, Republican voters wouldn’t vote for them.”

SHORT CUTS

Insight: “Speech delivery counts for little on the world stage unless you have convictions, and, yes, the vision to see beyond the front row seats.” —The Gipper

The BIG Lie: “When I ran in 2008, I in fact did not say I would fix it. I said we could fix it. … If you’re dissatisfied that every few months we have a mass shooting in this country killing innocent people, then I need you to mobilize and organize a constituency that says this is not normal and we are going to change it.” —Barack Obama

Non Compos Mentis, part I: “If Congress had passed some common-sense gun safety reforms after Newtown … we wouldn’t have prevented every act of violence, or even most. We don’t know if it would have prevented what happened in Charleston. No reform can guarantee the elimination of violence. But we might still have some more Americans with us.” —Barack Obama

Non Compos Mentis, part II: “I cannot imagine the horror that could’ve occurred if people [in Charleston] were sitting around with concealed weapons, this thing started and you had a full-scale gunfight. You might not even have three survivors.” —Democrat strategist Bob Shrum

Demo-gogues: “Racism, we are not cured of it. And it’s not just a matter of it not being polite to say n—r in public. That’s not the measure of whether racism still exists or not. It’s not just a matter of overt discrimination.” —Barack Obama

Village Idiots: “We have to use this most recent tragedy to keep us working on [gun control]. We have to do that. It is insane the number of guns and the ease of getting guns in America.” —Charleston mayor Joe Riley

Late-night humor: “Hillary Clinton signed a note … for a nine-year-old boy, explaining to his teacher that he was missing school to meet her. In exchange, the kid wrote Hillary a note saying his dog ate her emails.” —Jimmy Fallon

Donald Trump Brings Levity to Presidential Race
Donald Trump would be a mere sideshow curiosity in the 2016 elections if it were not for his name recognition and entertainment factor. According to Real Clear Politics, Trump is polling higher than Rick Perry, Carly Fiorina, Rick Santorum, Lindsey Graham and Bobby Jindal. But even if he's fired in the end — and we hope he is — he will provide some much-needed humor. After Tuesday's announcement, Politico pulled Trump's 10 best lines. Notably, however, Politico missed the best one: "When did we beat Japan at anything?" Well, there was that whole WWII thing in the Pacific... But to put things in perspective, as absurd as the Trump vanity campaign is, he is far more qualified than Barack nObama was in 2009 — or today! For example, nObama put loose lips Joe Biden on his ticket. When Trump was asked who he wanted as a running mate, he replied, “I think Oprah would be great. I’d love to have Oprah." Frankly, presidential elections could use a little levity. It's been a long time since the last billionaire vanity campaign kept us amused, compliments of Ross Perot!  -The Patriot Post

White Male Targets Blacks in Charleston
A young white male in his early 20s murdered nine blacks who were attending a Wednesday night prayer service in Charleston's Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church. It's still a developing story, as the murderer has not yet been apprehended and the names of the victims have not yet been disclosed, but according to Charleston Police Chief Greg Mullen, "We believe this is a hate crime; that is how we are investigating it." But already some anti-Second Amendment crusaders are exploiting the tragedy to advance their pet policy proposals. Charleston Mayor Joseph Riley was the first to do so, wasting no time advocating for greater gun control as a diversionary ploy. “I personally believe there are far too many guns out there, and access to guns, it’s far too easy," he said. "Our society has not been able to deal with that yet." Make no mistake: This story is newsworthy. But it's also worth noting that, on average, there are between 30 and 40 homicides every day in America, most of which are black-on-black. If "black lives matter" to the Leftmedia, why aren't these other victims covered in the news?  -The Patriot Post

HILLY TAPPED FUTURE CAMPAIGN NETWORK FOR BENGHAZI    SPIN
Politico: “While still secretary of state, [Hilly Clinton] emailed back and forth with [Sidney Blumenthal] about efforts by one of the groups, Media Matters, to neutralize criticism of her handling of the deadly assault on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya, sources tell POLITICO. ‘Got all this done. Complete refutation on Libya smear,’ Blumenthal wrote to Clinton in an Oct. 10, 2012, email into which he had pasted links to four Media Matters posts criticizing Fox News and Republicans for politicizing the Benghazi attacks and challenging claims of lax security around the U.S. diplomatic compound in Benghazi, according to a source who has reviewed the email exchange. Blumenthal signed off the email to Clinton by suggesting that one of her top aides, Philippe Reines, ‘can circulate these links,’ according to the source.”

HAMILTON TAKEN IN LEW OF A DEMOCRAT
Founding Father Alexander Hamilton, the first Treasury secretary, will be demoted from his place on the $10 bill. Why Hamilton? A previous petition argued that President Andrew Jackson, founder of the modern Democratic Party and slave owner, should be removed from the $20 bill, but Wednesday Treasury SecretaryJack Lew decreed that Hamilton would take the fall. Hamilton spent his whole life preserving the currency while Jackson did everything he could to break the big banks. While the reasoning behind the decision seems unclear it’s safe to say it’snot going over so well.

Z Street Court Victory May "Blow The Doors" Off The IRS Scandal
(Jeff Dunetz) ~ Prehaps the smallest and least funded organization involved in the IRS Scandal Z Street, a Zionist rather than a Teaparty group, which sued the IRS before Lois Lerner admitted the bias, may turn out to be the group that blows the cover off the entire scandal... The pro-Israel organization Z Street was today, once again, vindicated in a court of law in its now nearly five year effort to redress the violation of its Constitutional rights by the Internal Revenue Service. The judges in their Opinion were far more restrained than their reactions to the IRS arguments during the oral argument which took place on May 4, but their conclusion was the same. In a unanimous Opinion issued Friday, June 19, the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals agreed with and affirmed the D.C. District Court's ruling that the pro-Israel organization Z Street correctly brought a lawsuit alleging the Internal Revenue Service violated Z Street First Amendment rights by engaging in viewpoint discrimination.       http://yidwithlid.blogspot.com/2015/06/todays-z-street-court-victory-may-blow.html?utm_source=The+Lid+List&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=e16fce133e-RSS_EMAIL_CAMPAIGN&utm_term=0_597b72c01c-e16fce133e-291705165&goal=0_597b72c01c-e16fce133e-291705165

nObama Blames His Failed Presidency On Congress And Others
(Brian Anderson) ~ The good news is nObama has finally admitted his presidency has been an unmitigated failure. Remember all that “hope and change” he promised?... Well, the President is ready to concede that he didn’t deliver. He however predictably can’t own up to his shortcomings and blames it all on Congress and the American people because that just how narcissists roll. During his bi-monthly fundraising trip to California, nObama made the stunning admission at Tyler Perry’s house in front of a who’s who of liberal Hollywood elitists. He is still blames other for his shortcomings.       http://downtrend.com/71superb/obama-blames-his-failed-presidency-on-congress-and-the-american-people

Federal Judge Orders nObama IRS to Court
(judicialwatch.org) ~ Try telling the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) that you lost some tax documents and then magically found them again once legal pressure was applied. What do you think the end result would be for you if you tried to operate this way?... Judicial Watch is succeeding in court in its effort to remind the nObama IRS that it isn’t above the law.  But it’s clear to us after reviewing a seven-page court filing the IRS finally submitted in response to a court order that the tax agency is working to stonewall our efforts. So, late last Friday President nObama’s recalcitrant IRS agency finally complied with Judge Sullivan’s June 4 order requiring the agency to provide answers to Judicial Watch. Contrary to previous agency claims that the emails were lost and unrecoverable, the IRS finally admits that it has as many as 6,400 new Lerner emails but won’t promise to turn them over to us just yet. Even though the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA) already identified and removed emails that are duplicates, the IRS is in “the process of conducting further manual deduplication of the 6,400” emails, rather than reviewing them in response to Judicial Watch’s Freedom of Information Act requests that are more than two years old now.

A Guy Who’s Fighting ISIS Just Did Something EPIC
(Elizabeth Dickerson) ~ When Tom Locks of Britain got the chance to fight against ISIS, he took it. Locks, following the footsteps of a growing number of individuals, sold his home and possessions, left his job and the comforts of everyday life, said goodbye to his friends and loved ones, and headed to the front lines of Kurdistan... Now fighting on foreign soil, the former bouncer is putting his construction skills to good use. He is helping rebuild anything he can. When he isn’t building, he is wielding a weapon. He was asked about the leadership in England, as well as the leadership in the U.S. and their stance on ISIS and lack of a strategy. Locks said: “of course Barack nObama has not got a strategy to combat Daesh, neither does David Cameron. That’s why there are people like us out here on the front line, getting mortared and shot on a daily basis. It’s a joke! Not only do they not want to commit people, but they won’t commit a single pound to helping us deal with the world’s biggest problem.” He hopes, in the meantime, that the U.S. and Great Britain wake up to the very real threat of ISIS.        http://www.westernjournalism.com/a-guy-whos-fighting-isis-just-did-something-epic-to-utterly-embarrass-barack-and-michelle/?utm_source=MailChimp&utm_medium=email&utm_content=featured-stories&utm_campaign=DailyEmail06.20.15

David Malone of the Green Party in UK
Same Global Trade Scam In Britain...
(rickwells.us) ~ David Malone is a member of the Green Party in the UK. His message is not one of party nor is it merely related to his own nation, though that is his point of reference... His country is facing the same kind of organized criminal elite conspiracy disguised as a trade agreement as we are in the United States. The tactics used by the corporate cabal in Britain are remarkably similar to those being used against the American people. This video was about an hour and a half in its original form, taken from a February 2015 presentation. It’s cut down here in the interest of time, for the sake of distributing it to as many interested people as possible. The link to the full presentation appears below the edited version. Listen for the first 1:08, to hear how they’re attempting to force it through without ratification and declare it in effect simply by virtue of the negotiations having been completed. The practice of dictatorial imposition by fascist decree is not limited to McCon-nell and backstabber Boehner. It’s happening in Europe too. http://rickwells.us/same-global-trade-scam-in-britain-what-happened-to-them-is-happening-to-us/

Pope Francis
Pope Francis Included Islamic Passages In Climate Hoax Encyclical
(rickwells.us) ~ Pope Francis was not content with merely spreading the politics of Marxist wealth redistribution in his “climate change” fairyhoax encyclical, arguably the whole reason for its creation in the first place... He also chose to reinforce its supposed legitimacy by featuring a passage from an Islamic poet, Ali al-Khawas. As reported in Breitbart News, the “climate” encyclical included a depiction of the Muslim poet as cautioning people not to “put too much distance between the creatures of the world and the interior experience of God.” The symbolism of incorporating this Islamic text into the encyclical is much more significant than the actual words. What he did is as close to including Islamic teachings in a Catholic document as he could without actually quoting the Koran, an act which should have Catholics around the world scratching their heads, asking themselves “who is this guy and what is he up to?” Certainly that is what many non-Catholics are doing. There was no need for him to do what he did, either with the encyclical itself or with the Islamic inclusion and none of it is happening accidentally.

Against Judicial Activism

(city-journal.org) ~ The meaning of the United States Constitution is “fixed by the original meaning of its words,” according to the authors of a highly engaging new book titled, simply, The Constitution: An Introduction. That proposition—music to the ears of originalists like Justice Antonin Scalia—underlies the book’s central theme: defending the Constitution’s text against those politicians and judges who “seek to rewrite its terms in the service of what are thought to be desirable policies.”
.
The Constitution is the product of a multi-year collaboration between Michael Stokes Paulsen, a professor of law at the University of St. Thomas, and his non-lawyer son, Luke. The book’s first half provides an overview of the Constitution’s key provisions and an introduction to the major schools of constitutional interpretation, including the authors’ own originalist perspective. The second half offers a condensed history of American constitutional law. With sidebars on many of the personalities who shaped constitutional doctrine—not just judges, but politicians and litigants, too—the book does an excellent job of placing legal controversies in historical context.
.
The Paulsens are at their best when critiquing the modern era of judicial activism. In their telling, the Warren Court (1953–69) produced “careless” decisions, because the justices were focused on achieving policy goals rather than upholding the law. The nadir of this results-oriented jurisprudence was, as the authors correctly point out, the Court’s 1973 decision in Roe v. Wade, which invented a federal right to abortion on demand. The authors assail Roe as “the most extreme example of judicial activism in the twentieth century.” They even compare the decision—unfavorably—to Dred Scott, the notorious pro-slavery decision that helped provoke the Civil War. “Not even Dred Scott,” they argue, “so completely seemed to disregard the text as Roe did.”
.
Rather than citing the Constitution’s actual language, the Roe Court relied on the doctrine of “substantive due process,” the idea that the Due Process Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment empowers judges to strike down laws that they consider flawed, even if not strictly unconstitutional. That doctrine had been strongly endorsed by the Court eight years earlier in Griswold v. Connecticut, in which Justice William O. Douglas famously discovered a constitutional right to privacy hidden in “penumbras, formed by emanations” of the First, Third, Fourth, Fifth, and Ninth Amendments.
.
Justices O’Connor, Kennedy, and Souter come in for heavy criticism from the authors for their less-than-courageous decision in Planned Parenthood v. Casey (1992) to reaffirm Roe “whether or not mistaken” for fear of provoking a political backlash. Rather than engaging in honest jurisprudence, the three justices were motivated by delusions of “fashioning a political compromise they thought should settle the abortion issue once and for all.”
.
The authors take aim at many other sacred cows of progressive jurisprudence. The famous police warnings mandated by Miranda v. Arizona (1966) reflected the Court’s “policy judgment” and not the text of the Fifth Amendment. The Court’s rejection of school prayer in Engel v. Vitale (1962) was based on a notion of the separation of church and state that is “found nowhere in the Constitution.” The Court’s 2013 decision striking down the Defense of Marriage Act was “cryptic and meandering in its reasoning.” Lawrence v. Texas (2003)—which struck down state anti-sodomy laws—is portrayed as an abrupt reversal of an earlier precedent (Bowers v. Hardwick) driven by certain justices’ desire to legislate from the bench. On affirmative action, the authors take a hard line: the plain meaning of the Equal Protection Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment “renders nearly all forms of state affirmative action programs illegal”—notwithstanding the Court’s continued tolerance of certain forms of affirmative action.
.
While The Constitution makes a compelling case against judicial activism, the book is not without its flaws. In order to arrive at its critique of the modern Supreme Court, the authors have crammed too much Supreme Court history into a simplified narrative in which “substantive due process”—the legal doctrine at the heart of activist decisions like Roe v. Wade—is the central villain. The authors assert, for example, that substantive due process was invented by Chief Justice Roger Taney in Dred Scott, but fail to acknowledge that Taney never used the term “substantive due process” and, in fact, made only a single fleeting reference to “due process” in the course of his 50-page opinion.
.
Turning to the years after the Civil War, the book faithfully describes the rise of substantive due process culminating in Lochner v. New York(1905), in which the Supreme Court struck down state business regulations, ostensibly for violating the “liberty” protected by the due process clause, but more likely because the justices simply thought the regulations unwise. The Paulsens, however, don’t merely criticize the so-called Lochner Era of cases; they label the entire period of 1876 to 1936 as one of constitutional “betrayal.” The years 1936–60, when the Court repudiated Lochner, is celebrated in a chapter called “Restoration.” But this is painting with too broad a brush. While the Lochner Era including some regrettable activist decisions, the pre-1936 Court was generally quite faithful to the Constitution’s overarching design of a limited federal government. In Hammer v. Dagenhart (1917), for example, the Court correctly struck down the federal Child Labor Act as beyond Congress’s enumerated powers. In order to stay within their narrative of “betrayal,” the authors condemn Hammer for “curbing the national government’s ability to address important social problems”—a criticism grounded more in policy than on constitutional interpretation.
.
The authors are left trying to shoehorn the Court’s New Deal decisions into a tale of constitutional “restoration.” Alas, this was the era in which the Court tore down the Constitution’s express limitations on federal power in order to clear the way for FDR’s massive increase in federal power. The most extreme New Deal decision, Wickard v. Filburn (1942)—which upheld the power of the federal government to dictate how much wheat a farmer could grow for his own use—is depicted as “restoring the broad interpretation of national legislative power” asserted by Chief Justice John Marshall in the early years of the Republic. But that’s an odd kind of restoration—rather than restoring the Constitution’s text, the Court was restoring the (already-overbroad) interpretations that Marshall had asserted and that later courts had rejected. In reality, the Court in Wickard did exactly what the Paulsens argue against: it rewrote the Constitution to further its desired policy goals.
.
In attacking the Court’s “rights revolution” of the 1960s and 1970s, the authors have to some extent accepted one of the basic premises of judicial activism: the idea that the Constitution is primarily about rights. It isn’t. The Constitution is a structural document—its purpose is to create a central government and simultaneously to limit that government’s scope. The document’s framers cared deeply about rights, but they believed that the best way to protect Americans’ rights was to limit the power of the federal government. The right to local self-government—ultimately enshrined in the Tenth Amendment—was the right that would safeguard all others. Though the Paulsens rightly identify federalism as one of the Constitution’s core themes in the book’s early chapters, they shy away from states’ rights throughout the historical narrative. They depict Jefferson’s doctrine of nullification, for example, as a tool that would be used to perpetuate slavery. In fact, the doctrine was invoked more often by abolitionists. With respect to the sovereign right of states to resist unconstitutional federal laws, the book claims that “the Civil War settled that issue once and for all”—an odd proposition for authors who insist that constitutional interpretation must be based on the text alone.
.
Happily, the authors are on much firmer ground when discussing separation of powers—the other essential structural feature of the Constitution. The Court’s decision in Hamdan v. Rumsfeld (2006), striking down the use of military tribunals to try captured al Qaeda war criminals was an “extraordinary” curtailment of executive power and one that President George W. Bush would probably have been justified ignoring entirely. The authors make the important point—one that continues to elude the mainstream media—that President Barack nObama has gone far beyond Bush in his assertion of unilateral executive power by claiming the right “to deploy offensive military force against other nations whenever he alone judged the use of force to be in the national interest, without any authorization by Congress” (emphasis in the original).
.
All in all, The Constitution is an excellent resource for non-lawyers and lawyers alike looking to understand the role of constitutional law in American history. Though the book would have benefited from a more nuanced narrative and a greater attention to structural issues, the Paulsens’ piercing attack on judicial activism is well worth the price of admission.

Caucusing with the Democrats

The Tea Party and Conservatives could put Rep. John Bohner in his place.  Tell Rep Bohner to bring sunlight to all the OBAMATRADE, Treaties and such or The Tea Party and Conservatives will caucus with the Democrats and put him right out of power.  They would still vote conservative that way no bills would get through.  I say remove Rep. Bohner and his "Right Wing of the Demcrat Party".

Charleston: A Beacon of Civility

When the awful news of the Charleston massacre was televised, I immediately contacted my nephew, a fellow New Yorker, who has a winter home in the heart of Charleston.
Having visited Charleston, the "holy city", for the first time last year, I was extremely impressed by the charm and placidity of the city and the grace, amiability and propriety of the Charlestonians themselves. Frankly, I lamented my return to New York State following that most pleasant of visits. Charleston is a very special place, indeed.
th?id=JN.RNkJC4Bkx4qkMqHt1Oo%2fdQ&pid=15.1&H=192&W=160When the awful news of the Charleston church massacre was televised, I immediately sent the following text to my nephew who was at his summer home in upstate New York:
"When I visit you again in Charleston this winter, let's be sure to check out the church where the massacre occurred. By the way, because Charleston folks have class and dignity I am not worried about Ferguson or Baltimore-like insanity and turmoil in the wake of this monstrous shooting no matter how much inciting by the likes of racist dividers Sharpton and Obama. For the first time in a very long time, the country will vividly see how a civilized American city behaves in a disaster. Charleston will prove to be a beacon of civility and Christianity." My nephew promptly agreed.
And so it has been.
And, by the way, this dopey caterwauling about taking down the Confederate Flag in Charleston is obscenely stupid, insulting and short-sighted. If we are to rid ourselves of flags which remind us of the evils of slavery, then EVERY flag flown in the United States since 1776 must be eliminated as well. Under those banners, and under the protection of union law, slavery flourished.

Let's hope Charlestonians do not succumb to this insipid and mindless demand to take down their state flag. For me, the Confederate Flag is an honorable reminder of the pre-eminence of federalism and the inherent right of a State to break from any union which would abridge its constitutional sovereignty. It is also a tribute to those hundreds of thousands of Southern patriots--which include blacks as well--who selflessly and heroically gave their lives in defense of their nation. These patriots' sacrifices should never be forgotten or impugned. They are no less heroic than those thousands of Union soldiers who gave their lives to maintain an "indivisible union" and to end slavery in the Confederate States of America.

Karl Rove vs. the 2nd Amendment

Karl Rove vs. the 2nd Amendment

Guns don’t kill people, the Constitution kills people, at least according to Karl Rove, Republican strategist and architect of George W. Bush’s election and reelection as president. Rove, speaking on Fox News Sunday, and in the wake of the South Carolina church massacre, embraced the liberal mantra that there are too many guns on the street and went a step further and a step too far, saying the way to avoid more such tragedies is to repeal the Second Amendment and its guarantee of our right to keep and bear arms:

We'll Keep Our Guns...THEY Can Go to Hell

By Craig Andresen – The National Patriot and Right Side Patriots on cprworldwidemedia.net

So…now Hillary Clinton has joined Obama in the exploitation circus of liberals calling for more gun gth-1.jpg?width=239control measures…measures meant to do nothing but strip law abiding citizens of their 2nd Amendment rights.

Here was her quote from Saturday…

“Regulations can be passed while still respecting the Second Amendment and “respecting responsible gun owners.”

“The politics on this issue have been poisoned, but we can’t give up. The stakes are too high. The costs are too dear.”

First of all…we already HAVE laws that respect LAW ABIDING gun owners in this country and ONLY the LAW ABIDING gun owners are ABIDING by them…and second…Well, I’ll get to my second point in a minute but first…let’s have another look at OBAMA’S insipid exploitation of this tragedy.

“We don’t know all the facts but…once again…someone who wanted to inflict harm…had no trouble getting their hands on a gun. Let’s be clear…at some point, we as a country will have to reckon with the fact that this type of mass violence doesn’t happen in other advanced countries. It doesn’t happen in other places with this kind of frequency and it IS in our power to do something about it.”

Okay…before my head explodes…let me now get to that second point.
