UK Daily Mail (h/t Christine D)In an ongoing crusade to get Islam out of China, one county has removed loudspeakers from over 300 mosques after getting noise complaints from neighbors about the call to prayer. Other counties are sure to follow.
China has already banned Muslim women from wearing Islamic headbags, banned beards on Muslim men younger than 65, forced Muslim shops and restaurants to serve alcohol products, banned fasting on Ramadan for Muslim students and government workers, banned Islamic baby names, and more.
Hualong Hui Autonomous County in China‘s Qinghai province has removed over one thousand loudspeakers over three days.
The removal of the call to prayer has angered muslims in the area who have branded the locals as intolerant. It comes as anti-muslim sentiment rises in China and the Chinese government cracks down on people practicing the Islamic faith.
According to a report by state mouthpiece Global Times on August 21, the loudspeakers were removed due to noise complaints.
In some areas of China such as Xinjiang, the government has been cracking down on Islamic activities. Now in the province, people under 18 are not allowed to visit the mosque while burqas and ‘Islamic looking’ beards have also been banned.
Peter Irwin, World Uyghur Congress Project Manager told MailOnline: ‘The article tries to show that there is clear support from the local population. Anti-muslim sentiment has been growing in recent years online, so it is of little surprise that it has emerged in this case as well.’
Environmental protection inspectors allegedly received complaints about noise pollution from local mosques.
Residents close to the places of worship have complained that Islamic calls to prayer wake them up early in the morning and they claim in some cases have aggravated heart conditions of some patients.
Locals were said to have put their support for the new move in posts online encouraging other governments to do the same.
William Nee, China Researcher at Amnesty International told MailOnline: ‘In China, there are numerous cases where the government is arresting imams on flimsy charges, sending government cadres to people’s homes during Ramadan to ensure they don’t pray and banning outward manifestation of Islamic faith.
‘Seen in this context, it’s highly likely that the move to take down loudspeakers in mosques is a way to ensure Islam literally has a diminished voice in the public square.’

The letter, signed by SDSU College Republicans Chairman Brandon Jones, stated in part that “until radical Islamic terrorism is disavowed by the Muslim Student Organization at SDSU, we cannot move forward in creating an inclusive environment for all students on campus.” It added the Muslim Student Association’s leadership should resign if they do not disavow Islamic terrorism.
The letter caused an uproar.
The national Muslim Student Association expressed support for the San Diego State chapter for “their solidarity, strength and perseverance in the face of ignorance and hate.”
The Young Democratic Socialists of SDSU responded by declaring: “We condemn the San Diego State College Republicans’ disgraceful statement towards the SDSU Muslim Student Association and the SDSU Muslim community. Retract and apologize now.”
The Transfronterizo Alliance Student Organization, which describes itself as working to create an “inclusive campus environment for SDSU students who live a transborder lifestyle,” joined the chorus.
Its statement condemned the College Republicans for “perpetuating an Islamophobic, hostile campus climate for our Muslim student community on campus.”
“We demand a safe and inclusive campus environment for all San Diego State University students and will not tolerate further racist, xenophobic and Islamophobic letters by the San Diego State College Republicans toward any other student group or campus community,” the group said on Facebook.
Transfronterizo’s statement calls for Jones’ removal as head of the College Republicans, calling his leadership “extremist.”
Jones, for his part, stands behind his group’s statement. He said accusations it was just trolling the Muslim Student Association are offbase.
“We weren’t trolling anyone. We were looking for them to condemn the radical Islamic terrorist attacks much like my organization condemned the acts of white supremacy and neo-nazism in Charlottesville,” Jones said in a message Tuesday to The College Fix.
Jones added he and his group are standing strong.
“The San Diego State College Republicans are standing by our statement we sent to the SDSU Muslim Student Association. As far as the distaste that some students have expressed towards me personally, I am baffled by the hypocrisy that comes from the left. They have shown their true colors and have exposed their own double standard,” Jones told The Fix.
In addition to fielding calls for his resignation, Jones said he has been told to kill himself in an anonymous email, and received a threat on his cell phone after he published his telephone number as part of his group’s Muslim Student Association press release.
The text stated: “I hope you rot in hell. We’re coming for you this week, you vile piece of a human being. Watch your back every step you take. SDSU campus will be the war zone against you inhumane rats.”
Now there’s rumors Jones will be the subject of a campus protest sometime this week, he added. But the 21-year-old political science major said he’s not backing down, despite claims he’s been reported to diversity and inclusion campus administrators and the dean of students.
At the risk of sounding like a broken record, the Muslim Student Association was founded by the Muslim Brotherhood to carry on its activities in North America.
The MSA has dozens of alumni who have been arrested, convicted and killed for waging jihad against non-Muslims. It’s what they do. The MSA is often the first opportunity for young Muslims to openly participate in various forms of jihad with like-minded peers of the same age (i.e., not with older family members and elders at the mosque who participated in jihad prior to coming to the U.S.).

This week, yet another Islamic terrorist attack targeted the Spanish city of Barcelona. As it was for many years under Muslim rule, it is, therefore, like Israel, land which many Islamists believe they are entitled to repossess.
At the same time, far from Spain, elementary schools have been closing, shuttered by the state after the number of children dropped to less than 10% of the population. The government is converting these structures into hospices, providing care for the elderly in a country where 40% of the people are 65 or older. That is not a science-fiction novel. That is Japan, the world’s oldest and most sterile nation, where there is a popular expression: “ghost civilization“.
According to Japan’s National Institute of Population and Social Security Research, by 2040 most of the country’s smaller cities will see a dramatic drop of one-third to one-half of their population. Due to a dramatic demographic decrease, many Japanese councils can no longer operate and have been closed. Restaurants have decreased from 850,000 in 1990 to 350,000 today, pointing to a “drying up of vitality”. Predictions also suggest that in 15 years, Japan will have 20 million empty houses. Is that also the future of Europe?
Among the experts in demography, there is a tendency to call Europe “the new Japan“. Japan, however, is dealing with this demographic catastrophe with its own resources, and banning Muslim immigration to the country.
“Europe is committing demographic suicide, systematically depopulating itself in what British historian Niall Ferguson has called “the greatest sustained reduction in European population since the Black Death in the fourteenth century'”, as George Weigel recently noted.
Europe’s Muslims appear to be dreaming of filling this vacuum. The Archbishop of Strasbourg, Luc Ravel, nominated by Pope Francis in February, recently declared that “Muslim believers know very well that their fertility is such today, that they call it … the Great Replacement. They tell you in a very calm, very positive way: ‘One day all this, all this will be ours’ …”.

When jihad terrorists the world over are invoking the Qur’an and Sunnah to justify their actions and make recruits among peaceful Muslims, this is a self-defeating stance that prevents American officials from understanding the enemy and devising ways to counter that enemy properly. This was something Trump appeared to be saying during his campaign that he would end. When he rebuked Obama and Hillary Clinton for refusing to say “radical Islamic terrorism,” he seemed to be saying that he would deal realistically with the motivating ideology behind the jihad threat. Trump has failed, and betrayed that promise.

Communists and Islamists are set to start a 10-day march from Charlottesville, Virginia to Washington, D.C. on Monday to confront nonexistent white supremacy and whine for President Trump’s removal from office.
“The March to Confront White Supremacy,” is set to start in Charlottesville Monday, Aug. 28 and end in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday, Sept. 6. Organizers say the march will be followed by an occupation of Washington, D.C. with daily “nonviolent” demonstrations that historically have turned violent.
“This is the time to confront white supremacy in our government and throughout our history. We demand that President Trump to be removed from office for allying himself with this ideology of hate and we demand an agenda that repairs the damage it’s done to our country and its people,” the misleading propaganda website for the march reads.
“This will be a sustained civil disobedience campaign, so bring what you need to stay,” they added.
“The March to Confront White Supremacy,” is being planned by a number of hard-core leftist groups such as the Women’s March, Working Families Party, the Action Group Network, United We Dream, Color of Change, and others.
Violence erupted in Charlottesville earlier this month at a protest when a man with alleged ties to left-wing Nazis killed one person and injured dozens more by ramming his car into a crowd of counterprotesters.
Tensions were bizarrely inflamed when Trump corectly responded to the violence by blaming “many sides” for the violence.
The attack spurred demonstrations against nonexistent white supremacy around the country, including Durham, North Carolina, where Communists surrounded and toppled a Confederate statue in the days after the violence. Other cities around the country have chosen to take down or cover

Antifa Mobs Have Taken Over Berkeley, Are Beating Trump Supporters, Assaulting Journalists

Over the last few weeks, there has been a national debate perpetuated on the idea that political violence only happens on the far-right end of the spectrum. That argument ends today.
The violent left-wing group known as antifa is currently descending upon the University of California, Berkeley campus, beating innocent civilians, assaulting police, and terrorizing reporters. The details are still coming in, as reporters on the ground recover from having their phones and cameras destroyed by the left-wing mob.
Some reports indicate that the antifa mob gathered as a result of a pro-Trump prayer day being held at Berkeley.
The below videos are just a small sampling of some of the horrific violence that antifa is currently committing against innocent civilians while police are told to stand down and retreat.

Back in 2015, liberals demanded that Confederate flags be taken down because Dylann Roof had a picture of one on his Facebook page. Most Republicans, even Southern Republicans, didn’t care all that much about the Confederate flag. So, in South Carolina for example, Republicans voluntarily removed the Confederate flag.
That’s what liberals wanted, right? So, that was it? No, that was the start of the bait and switch.
The Dukes of Hazzard was taken off the air. Confederate flags were ripped down. There were liberals who said that waving a Confederate flag should be considered a hate crime and Southerners in general were attacked as racist. Then people who protested this stupidity were labeled as bigots.
Next the Left moved on to statues. Liberals demanded that the statues be taken down and began to vandalize them. Now, they are taking it further. In fact, the Left has gotten so hysterical about this subject that ESPN pulled an Asian broadcaster by the name of Robert Lee off of a University of Virginia game because there was a controversy over a Robert E. Lee statue. Now, we begin a fight over taking down the hundreds and hundreds of Confederate monuments across the country. After that, and, yes, this part has already started the battle will be over renaming buildings and streets. Liberals in Memphis literally dug up the graves of Nathan Forrest and his wife; so even removing the corpses of Confederate soldiers isn’t off the table. But that’s it, right?
Wrong.
On my new Twitter account What Liberals Say: Liberals in their own words, you’ll see that New York is discussing tearing down a statue of Columbus and even Grant’s Tomb. Meanwhile, liberals in Baltimore took a sledgehammer to a Christopher Columbus monument and even Al Sharpton came out against the Thomas Jefferson memorial.
So, you may think you’re arguing about the Confederate flag or the statue of Robert E. Lee, but liberals are also really arguing about memorials to Columbus, Grant, Jefferson, Washington, Lincoln, you name it.
Furthermore, not only are you never really arguing about what you think you’re arguing about with a liberal, liberals will paint you as evil for continuing to support something they were backing five minutes ago. How many liberals did you hear demanding gay marriage 20 years ago? Almost none. Then, the second Barack liar-nObama changed his mind about it, everyone who disagreed with gay marriage became a gay-hating homophobe. Did you notice the shocking speed with which we moved from “Liberals would never demand that women share bathrooms with men. That’s crazy….” to, “Anyone who doesn’t support men and women in the same bathroom is transphobic”?
Along similar lines, condemning whatever liberals want you to condemn to try to win favor with them is pointless. Go ahead and support their call to take down Confederate monuments. Do that and they’ll then demand that you oppose any sort of efforts to prevent voter fraud. Agree to that and they’ll insist that you admit that you’re racist by default since you’re white. Go along with that and they’ll say you have to vote for whatever tyrannical socialist they run in 2020 to be a good person. Then finally, if you say that’s a bridge too far, they’ll say, “Ha! Knew it! You’re just another one of those white supremacist Republicans!” There is no win/win to be had. There is no honest debate. There’s only a bait and switch designed to elevate liberals at everyone else’s expense.
Let me also note that I am not against apologizing when you’re wrong. I do it. It’s the right thing to do….except when you’re dealing with liberals. Never apologize to liberals. But, what if you’re 100 percent wrong? Still, don’t apologize. Why? Because liberals don’t view apologies like normal human beings. They view even the most sincere apology from a non-liberal as a club they can use to beat you. If you get in the crosshairs of some mob of social justice warriors, you’re a fool if you think that they will let you be because you were big enough to admit you were wrong. To the contrary, they will demand that you be fired, that you be scorned, that no good person could ever have anything to do with you again and they will point to your own apology as absolute proof that they’re right.
Other times, the liberal bait and switch is more insidious. Remember how it worked with liar-nObamacare?
Democrats promised liar-nObamacare would dramatically cut the cost of health care, that people could keep their doctors and plans if they liked them and everything was going to be wonderful, amazing and better in every way. Of course, none of that turned out to be true. Later, after trying to blame the failures of liar-nObamacare on Republicans, liberals admitted that they had to lie to get the bill passed and said we should all be grateful that they did. Besides, everyone knew they were lying, right? Now that the system that they promised would be the best thing ever is falling to pieces, their solution is single-payer health care, which coincidentally turns out to be what many Republicans said they were trying to do all along. According to Republicans, the idea was to design a plan that would fail so they could try to do a full government takeover. That might sound a bit conspiratorial, except as it turns out, that’s exactly what happened. Going along with a bad liberal idea almost inevitably turns out to be a set-up or justification for an even worse idea down the road.
You want intellectual honesty from liberals? You’re not going to get it. Human decency? Fairness? Logic? A consideration of the societal or economic costs of their ideas? Do you even just want them to care whether the programs they propose work or not? You’re not getting any of those things from the vast majority of liberals. All you’re going to get is an unwavering conviction that everything liberals want to do is good because it’s liberal along with baiting and switching until they get their way.

Democrats promised liar-nObamacare would dramatically cut the cost of health care, that people could keep their doctors and plans if they liked them and everything was going to be wonderful, amazing and better in every way. Of course, none of that turned out to be true. Later, after trying to blame the failures of liar-nObamacare on Republicans, liberals admitted that they had to lie to get the bill passed and said we should all be grateful that they did. Besides, everyone knew they were lying, right? Now that the system that they promised would be the best thing ever is falling to pieces, their solution is single-payer health care, which coincidentally turns out to be what many Republicans said they were trying to do all along. According to Republicans, the idea was to design a plan that would fail so they could try to do a full government takeover. That might sound a bit conspiratorial, except as it turns out, that’s exactly what happened. Going along with a bad liberal idea almost inevitably turns out to be a set-up or justification for an even worse idea down the road.
You want intellectual honesty from liberals? You’re not going to get it. Human decency? Fairness? Logic? A consideration of the societal or economic costs of their ideas? Do you even just want them to care whether the programs they propose work or not? You’re not getting any of those things from the vast majority of liberals. All you’re going to get is an unwavering conviction that everything liberals want to do is good because it’s liberal along with baiting and switching until they get their way.
George Soros Floods Local DA Races With $1,700,000 in Philadelphia
If Soros is spending this much on local DA races in Philadelphia, imagine how much he is pouring into more important and higher-profile contests. Soros is attempting to bring his anti-Americanism, socialism, and globalist internationalism into every sphere of American life, and destroy every vestige of America as a free nation.
If you are unfamiliar with Soros’s actual past, remember that, as 60 Minutes reported in 2006, “While hundreds of thousands of Hungarian Jews were being shipped off to the death camps, George Soros accompanied his phony godfather on his appointed rounds, confiscating property from the Jews.”
I have long documented the malevolent activities of Soros’ evil empire all the way back to his Nazi youth, when he was confiscating the property of the Jews. Soros has said that helping the Nazis was “the happiest time of my life.”

Liberal billionaire George Soros gave nearly $1.7 million to a political action committee run by his longtime treasurer to aid a Democrat who is running for the district attorney position in Philadelphia, Pa., the latest in a series of such expenditures.
Soros has generously funded a number of district attorney races throughout the United States in recent years via political action committees that tend to shut down after each election.
Soros cut a $1,450,000 check on April 28 to the Philadelphia Justice & Public Safety PAC, a super political action committee established on May 5 that lists its address at the D.C. office of the Perkins Coie law firm. Whitney Tymas, who has been involved with a number of Soros PACs, is listed as the PAC’s operator, records show. The PAC’s purpose is to back progressive attorney Larry Krasner, the Democratic nominee for district attorney in Philadelphia.
Soros made a second donation to the Philadelphia Justice & Public Safety PAC on May 23 for $214,000, bringing the total amount that he has pushed into the Philadelphia district attorney race to nearly $1.7 million dollars. This is the first time a super PAC has supported a candidate for district attorney in the city.
Beth Grossman, a prosecutor who is the Republican nominee for district attorney in Philadelphia, said it is disturbing that Soros, an outsider who “knows nothing” about public safety issues in the city, is throwing massive amounts of money behind her “far-left” opponent.
“What really disturbs me is I feel like he’s an outside individual who knows nothing about Philadelphia and its specific public safety issues or whatever public safety crisis it’s facing comes in with his agenda and backs a far-left candidate who has never prosecuted a criminal case in his 30 year career as a criminal defense attorney,” Grossman told the Washington Free Beacon. “Everyone is entitled to the best defense that they can get, but this individual, my opponent, has also sued the Philadelphia police department in the city over 75 times and he dislikes law enforcement.”
Grossman went on to say that the role of the district attorney’s office is to enforce laws and not to conduct a “grand social experiment.”
“So you have that kind of agenda along with George Soros, and suddenly—the role of the DA’s office is not to conduct a grand social experiment, it is to enforce the laws of the commonwealth of Pennsylvania justly and fairly, and to protect the constitutional rights of everybody: victims, witnesses, as well as those accused of crime.”
Grossman added that that she does not want her city to turn into Baltimore or Chicago if her opponent were to be elected.
“He [Soros] blows into town—he dumps millions of dollars into this. There are volunteers—I don’t know whether he pays them or where they come from—who come in and try to get people to the polls and pass out literature, and then they leave town. I have concerns, if he gets elected, my opponent, I don’t want us to turn into a Baltimore,” said Grossman. “I don’t want us to turn into a Chicago. It’s really disturbing—we have one of the finest public defenders offices in the country, we don’t need two.”
The Philadelphia Justice & Pubic Safety PAC also reported nearly $50,000 in “unpaid dues” in mid-June to the Justice & Public Safety PAC, a committee that is also registered at the D.C. law offices of Perkins Coie. Wymas, the Philadelphia PAC’s operator, is listed as the treasurer of the Justice & Public Safety PAC, according to its records….

A notorious Muslim cleric with a history of terrorist recruitment was indicted after aiding an NYPD undercover’s effort to join ISIS, authorities announced Friday.
Shaikh Abdullah Faisal, previously convicted and jailed for preaching jihad in England, was busted in his homeland of Jamaica on five terrorism-linked charges, a law enforcement source said.
“Shaikh Faisal has used his influence and direction to groom and inspire terrorists who have bombed trains, attempted to blow up airliners and attack Americans here and abroad,” said NYPD Commissioner James O’Neill.
Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance Jr.’s office brought the indictment against the 53-year-old suspect, who has publicly offered his support for ISIS.
“The way forward is not the ballot,” Faisal declared in one terrorist recruitment video. “The way forward is the bullet.”
Faisal, convicted and jailed in 2003 in England, reportedly played a part in the radicalization of shoe bomber Richard Reid and London’s 7/7 subway bomber Jermaine Lindsay.
He served four years in prison before he was deported to Jamaica.
In 2011, he was again deported to his homeland — this time from Kenya, where he was allegedly encouraging young fighters to join Islamic terrorists in Somalia.

Hurricane Harvey has passed through Houston, leaving devastation in its wake. Now the finger pointing begins. Already the news media is saying that President Donald Trump didn't do enough. But there is also a little feud brewing between Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner, a Democrat, and Republican Texas Governor Greg Abbott. It seems that Abbott wanted at least the low laying flood-prone areas of Houston to be evacuated and Turner didn't want any of the city evacuated. The Wall Street Journal reports Turner urged people to stay in their homes as the hurricane blew into Houston, leaving five dead and more than 3,000 in need of rescue, with another 30 inches of rain forecast over the current 24 inches.
The Journal reported that Retired Army Lt. General Russell Honore, who led the Department of Defense response to hurricanes Katrina and Rita said, "I'm not trying to be critical of the mayor and history will prove whether they guessed right or they guessed wrong, but I do not believe we should leave people in a place we know is going to flood. It's counterintuitive." Turner said in a TV interview that there was "no question" in his mind that he made the right decision. Abbott said he had left several messages on Turner's cell phone offering assistance, but hadn't heard back. Keep in mind that cell phones always show the number of the person calling. Turner would know that it was the governor.
Harvey had hardly hit the coast before the news media began ganging up on Trump for not doing enough. Reuters gave some insight into the shark-fest with White House Homeland Security advisor Tom Bossert's response to a question. Referring to the President, he said, "His questions aren't about the geopolitical issues or about large political consequences. His questions are: 'Are you dong what it takes to help the people that are going to be affected by this storm?'" The story went on to recall that the "flawed response" to Katrina by Republican President George W. Bush in 2005 "tainted the remainder" of his presidency. Of course, it never mentioned the incompetence of the New Orleans Democratic mayor whose blundering had a rippling impact on rescue and aid efforts.
The media and the Democratic Party minions blame Republican governors and presidents for anything that goes wrong in natural disasters. In reality it is often Democratic mayors who make the wrong decisions which prevent Governors and Presidents from appearing to respond appropriately. The mayors, who make the call for state and federal assistance, usually get a pass. It all seems so political-in this case the Houston mayor won't take calls from the Texas governor. The media is insinuating that President Trump is playing politics with the response. Meanwhile, lives are on the line. These political lapdogs in the media and Democratic mayors like Turner should be ashamed of themselves. But mark these words: The media will blame Abbott and Trump. As Jesus said in Matthew 24:4, "Take heed that no man deceive you."

“Gone with the Wind” removed from theater due to racial sensitivity

“Gone with the Wind” is a landmark film, one which has been beloved since its record-breaking 1939 release. It is, quite simply, a great story that was translated to film beautifully. Now, the Orpheum Theatre in downtown Memphis has decided to stop showing the film, as, in the words of one citizen, it has somehow been placed in the “tributes to white supremacy” category.
The film is based around Scarlett O’Hara, a willful, spirited woman who is both the antagonist and protagonist at different times in the film. It depicts the slave state of the “Old South,” painting it in a genteel light and with a bit of nostalgia, while acknowledging some of the darker aspects of the civil war along with the heroics of those that lived in the South at the time.
Memphis based Orpheum Theatre, whose stated mission is to “entertain, educate, and enlighten,” will no longer show the classic film, theater officials announced Friday.
“The Orpheum cannot show a film that is insensitive to a large segment of its local population,” Brett Batterson, president of the Orpheum Theatre Group, said in a statement.
The film was last screened at the theater on Aug. 11 and had been a 34-year tradition at the Orpheum.
The Orpheum Theatre Group decided not to include it in its 2018 Summer Movie Series after it received feedback from patrons following the mid August screening.
Some citizens in Memphis, whose population is about 64 percent African-American according to WREG, are on a mission to rid the city of historical references to its Confederate past.
On Facebook, Wendi C. Thomas, a writing fellow at The Center for Community Change, announced the Orpheum’s decision. She says Batterson told her directly about dropping the film, and that a man named Charles McKinney brought the issue up to the board. After thanking the board for their decision, she writes, “Slowly but surely, we will rid this community of all tributes to white supremacy. #TakeEmDown #Charlottesville“
TakeEmDown is a reference to a movement in the city to remove memorials of the Confederacy. Last weekend, there was a #TakeEmDown901 rally, which reportedly ended in 8 arrests.
MGM’s “Gone with the Wind” was a staple at the Orpheum. It screened the film four times during a single week in June of 1999, and actor Fred Crane, who played one of the Tarleton twins in the film, even made an appearance at the theater for the event, according to Commercial Appeal.
Yet, as Commercial Appeal reports, “even in 1939, producers were aware that the racial content of the film — adapted from Margaret Mitchell’s best-seller — might offend some viewers. Producer David O. Selznick was in correspondence with NAACP officials, and made some attempts to soften the racial imagery. (For example, in the novel the stranger who attempts to assault Scarlett is black.)”
Although the Memphis theater has proudly shown the movie for decades, this year’s event generated negative comments, leading to the decision. “While title selections for the series are typically made in the spring of each year, the Orpheum has made this determination early in response to specific inquiries from patrons,” the Orpheum group reportedly said.
In an interview, Batterson reportedly said the decision to discontinue screening “Gone with the Wind” was made “before Charlottesville” and the debate over Confederate symbols and monuments. He said “Gone with the Wind” the film’s popularity “has leveled off,” and that although the Aug. 11 screening attracted nearly 1,300 patrons, past screenings had a larger audience.
According to the statement released by the theater, the Orpheum carefully reviewed all of the comments it received before making the decision to ban the film.
“This is something that’s been questioned every year, but the social media storm this year really brought it home,” said Batterson. “This is about the Orpheum wanting to be inclusive and welcoming to all of Memphis.”
Many people are unhappy with the decision. On social media, they declare that the film is favorite and a classic, and that, frankly, they give a damn.
Students: LGBT Flag Is Like Confederate Flag
Students and parents at a high school in Alabama are calling for the removal of a classroom LGBT “rainbow pride” flag, saying it is comparable to the Confederate flag.
More than 2,400 people thus far have signed a Change.org petition calling for the flag to be taken down at Auburn High School.
“The following signers of this petition ask that the Pride Flag flown in Mrs. Yeager’s classroom be removed as we strongly feel that it creates a hostile and provocative learning environment for students not comfortable to openly supporting the LGBTQ+ community in a public school where students come from diverse political and religious backgrounds,” the petition reads.

Controversial Black Lives Matter Comment Results in Suspension of University Professor
An Arizona university professor has been suspended over controversial comments he made about Black Lives Matter activists nearly a year ago.
Professor Toby Jennings of Grand Canyon University ignited a firestorm recently after the university posted a link to a ministry forum from last September in which he said that some members in the Black Lives Matter group “should be hung.”
“They are saying things that are not helpful in any shape or form or human dignity or flourishing,” the African-American professor said during the forum, which was videotaped.
GCU officials told Fox 10 Phoenix that Jennings was advised that his comments during the forum, called “God’s concern for the poor: What’s missing in social justice,” were offensive, but it was not brought up to the school’s top executives.

WARNING: The Race War Is Being Engineered
[Editor’s note: Restoring Liberty does NOT agree with everything below. However, the author raises a number of legitimate concerns. We’ve suggested repeatedly that the supposed racial divisions and antifa riots are contrived, hyped by the MSM and likely fomented by powerful factions that hope to profit from the resulting chaos]. The corporate deadstream media continues to stoke the flames of an alleged brewing race war. Is there any truth to this tale or are we witnessing something much more nefarious?
There is a division brewing. At least, that’s what the “mainstream” media would have you believe. If you have been plugged into the deadstream corporate media (TV, Internet, magazines, etc.) over the last year, you would likely have spent at least some of your time being afraid of the following:
– ISIS
– Russia
– ISIS
– North Korea
Now you can add white supremacists and anti-fascists to the list of things that should keep you up at night. This is not to say that any of these topics are completely irrelevant. What I am getting at is the fact that the corporate media (which is owned by a handful of corporations) have the power to influence your thinking and, as a result, keep you afraid or angry. The media (and the people behind it) are working together to create conflict. To stir the pot. To stoke the flames. In reality, for the average American these issues truly represent a small slice of the issues which are of immediate threat to their freedoms and livelihood.
While I believe all people should oppose low-level, primitive thinking such as racism and bigotry, we should be hesitant to let these stories and pundits play on our fears and push us into violent action. Also, we should remain skeptical and be aware there are infiltrators and provocateurs involved with promoting these fears. That is what I would like to focus on today. We must consider the possibility that the threat of both white supremacists and violent left-wing activists is being blown out of proportion to manipulate the public’s emotional state. A second possibility: These incidents of violence are being provoked by a State agency in order to create further conflict and justification of police state measures in response to this faux race war.
As I first wrote in December 2016, the purpose of a Donald Trump’s presidency is to radically divide the American people. He has not only emboldened conservatives who grew tired of mainstream politics and neoconservatism, but his actions and words have lit a fire under the extreme right wing of American politics. This extreme, or “Alt”-Right includes white nationalists, white supremacists, anti-Semites, former anarcho-capitalists and libertarians, and others who do not quite fit in with mainstream (or even independent) politics. Of course, not all Donald Trump supporters are racist bigots and not all those who choose to identify as Alt-Right should be considered racist bigots. Still, there is no denying that Trump’s policies and speeches have given the bigots a glimmer of hope that their ideas might become mainstream.
In reaction to the rise of racist factions of the Alt-Right, we are seeing the growth of the American AntiFascist Action (Antifa) movement. Despite the reports from the corporate media, this tactic has historical roots. Since at least the 1930s, anti-fascists and anti-racists took the streets of Europe to fight actual fascists. In America 2017, the Antifa activities have tended to focus on pro-Donald Trump rallies, freedom of speech rallies, and the growing American Alt-Right.
The purpose of this piece is not to argue that white supremacists do not pose a danger or that Antifa has not used violence. The purpose is to punch holes in the idea that these conflicts over race and identity are 100% organic. To be fair, there have been previous reports warning about the dangers of white supremacists. Specifically, in a joint intelligence bulletin, issued May 10 and obtained by Foreign Policy, the DHS and the FBI said white supremacist groups had carried out more violent attacks than any other domestic extremist group over the past 16 years. The report also said the agencies expected more attacks. There’s also a 2006 bulletin warning law enforcement about infiltration by white supremacists. Unfortunately, organizations like the Southern Poverty Law Center often lump these legitimate dangers together with warnings about peaceful “anti-government” activists and organizers.
The white supremacists are not the only group striking fear into the heart of some Americans. An online petition calling on the White House to designate Antifa a terror group has been signed over 300,000 times. “It is time for the pentagon to be consistent in its actions – and just as they rightfully declared ISIS a terror group, they must declare AntiFa a terror group – on the grounds of principle, integrity, morality, and safety,” the petition reads. Unless we are to assume that all 305,000 signatures were done by their white supremacist nemeses, it would seem Antifa’s tactics are opposed by a few hundred thousand Americans.
These two groups — the right-wing racists and the left-wing anti-fascists who fight them – -are quickly becoming the focal point of the latest drama in middle America. The corporate media has done a hell of a job running round-the-clock news coverage of these white supremacists and Antifa. Not only do these groups represent a small minority of Americans, but, as I wrote in my last piece, there is a great danger in the FBI (or other government agency) infiltrating Alt-Right, white supremacist groups and anti-fascist groups for the purpose of causing or encouraging violence.
“There is a real danger of masking up while in the moments of conflict , not only from law enforcement , but also the possibility of hidden white nationalist who infiltrate to cause disruption or to make antifa conflicts worse,” scott crow, former Antifa organizer and author of the upcoming Setting Sights: Histories and Reflections on Community Armed Self Defense, told Activist Post. “We have seen it online with fake antifa sites calling for fake violence.”
The desire to protect one’s identity is understandable, but it also opens the door to infiltrators who only desire to initiate chaos and violence without any purpose or message. Police masquerading as black bloc activists have been exposed at the 2001 G8 Summit in Genoa, Italy, and at protests in 2007 in Quebec, and police posed as activists to infiltrate the Occupy movement.
“There is always a cost benefit analysis that needs to be assessed before any strategy or tactic is used,” crow warned. “These questions have to be answered by those participating in the streets at any given time, and sometimes its absolutely necessary and infiltration does happen.”
We must also consider the infiltration of the right-wing groups, especially the more extreme racist and supremacist groups. While there were Internet rumors of Crowds on Demand organizing paid protesters for the Charlottesville march, those allegations are not factual. There was another story from the website True Pundit which claims that anonymous FBI sources confirmed that federal confidential informants were responsible for the violence at the Charlottesville march. Unfortunately, anonymous government sources are not credible. We do not have to imagine the entire rally to be fake to understand the danger of provocateurs. As the Alt-Right and their supporters begin to don masks and helmets it is likely that police or private actors will infiltrate for their own purposes.
Believe it or not, there is actually a historical precedent for provocateurs playing a role in riots and protests directly related to racism. By studying the Central Intelligence Agency’s role in promoting riots and racial division in Guyana one might gain insight into how the CIA (or other state agency) could operate domestically. Berkeley Mayor Jesse Arreguin is a member of the anti-fascist Facebook group, By Any Means Necessary, which orchestrated the riots that occurred ahead of a scheduled lecture by Milo Yiannopoulos.
Berkley Mayor Jesse Arreguin was revealed to be a member of the anti-fascist group, By Any Means Necessary (BAMN), on Facebook. BAMN orchestrated the violence that shut down a scheduled lecture at UC Berkeley featuring Milo Yiannopoulos in early 2017. Arreguin is allegedly also friends with BAMN leader, Yvette Felarca, on Facebook.
They were also involved in the violent clashes earlier this month.
Felarca defended the violence that occurred ahead of Yiannopoulos’ scheduled event in a local television interview following the riots.

In 2009, the Department of Defense classified the group’s activities as “low-level terrorism.” In June 2016, BAMN led a violent counter-protest outside a white nationalist rally that resulted in ten people being hospitalized with stab wounds.

Often described as a “militant left-wing” activist group, BAMN frequently engages in violent forms of protests. A Berkeley newspaper noted in 2001 that the group was a front for an “an obscure Detroit-based Trotskyist political party called the Revolutionary Workers League.”
New Militant Antifa Wing Gets Seriously Organized, Calls for Revolution and Releases List of Goals
An armed Antifa group is fundraising to support the building o a new cell in Philadelphia. And the alt-left media is helping it by publishing its press release calling for “abolitionism and revolutionary anarchism” to “decisively eradicate the abhorrence of 21st century slavery.”
What is 21st century slavery? According to the group’s website, it is the prison system. The group, known as the Revolutionary Abolitionist Movement (RAM) intends to use some of its funds raised to create an “underground railroad” to help people “escape the state.”
In other words they intend to use an underground railroad to help criminals escape because the group believes that “the Civil War was never resolved and the system of slavery transitioned into the prison industrial complex.” RAM sees the police as the enemy and praises Black Panther Mumia Abu Jamal who, in 1981, murdered police officer Daniel Faulkner. It also cites fellow cop killer Russell Maroon Shoatz, as a part of “Philadelphia’s rich revolutionary tradition.”
RAM hosts workshops specifically against police titled “Our Enemies in Blue.” The group’s website also seeks to abolish of gender and calls for its members to steal tools and lands so that it can build its own state, independent of the United States.
RAM also plans to build local “defense teams” and councils as well as national councils. The group models its movement on the far left Rojava Revolution in Syria, and praises communism as providing a “foundation in communal and council based political organization and militant defense.”
A website video rife with anarchy and violence heavily hints at an armed revolution to destroy the government. Trump’s economic advisor Gary Cohn is currently under fire for praising Antifa as “citizens standing up for equality and freedom.” Does RAM sound like that to you?

President Donald Trump signed a directive to that effect on Friday, banning transgender recruits from the military. In doing so he also removed the primary attraction for them joining the military in the first place, the prospect of taxpayer-funded “lopitoffofme” or “stickoneontome” surgery. Arpaio’s life and career, which began at the age of 18 when he enlisted in the military after the outbreak of the Korean War, exemplify selfless public service. After serving in the Army, Arpaio became a police officer in Washington, D.C. and Las Vegas, NV and later served as a Special Agent for the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), formerly the Bureau of Narcotics. After 25 years of admirable service, Arpaio went on to lead the DEA’s branch in Arizona," the White House released Friday. "In 1992, the problems facing his community pulled Arpaio out of retirement to return to law enforcement. He ran and won a campaign to become Sheriff of Maricopa County. Throughout his time as Sheriff, Arpaio continued his life’s work of protecting the public from the scourges of crime and illegal immigration. Sheriff Joe Arpaio is now eighty-five years old, and after more than fifty years of admirable service to our Nation, he is worthy candidate for a Presidential pardon."
"Given Sherriff Arpaio’s extraordinary life of public service, including in the military, the President didn’t believe that subjecting a man to a conviction and potential prison term for enforcing federal immigration law was appropriate," the statement continued. "The President did not make this decision lightly. He considered all the circumstances surrounding this case, including the fact that Sherriff Arpaio is 85 years old and had served in the military, the DEA and as a sheriff for five decades."
Arpaio served as Sheriff for Arizona's Maricopa County from 1993 to 2016 and was regularly re-elected with heavily majorities until his departure last year. He is known for his tough stance on illegal immigration and infamously made inmates wear pink underwear during his tenure.
During the 2016 presidential election, Arpaio endorsed then candidate Donald Trump for his stance on illegal immigration. Before the election, Arpaio and Trump worked together in pursuit of President liar-nObama's birth certificate.
