McMaster Fires National Security “Staffer” Critical of Islamic Threat, Muslim Brotherhood Infiltration

Rich Higgins, a former Pentagon official who served in the NSC’s strategic-planning office as a director for strategic planning, was let go on July 21. Higgins’s memo describes supposed domestic and international threats to Trump’s presidency, including globalists, bankers, the “deep state,” and Islamists. The memo characterizes the Russia story as a plot to sabotage Trump’s nationalist agenda. It asserts that globalists and Islamists are seeking to destroy America. The memo also includes a set of recommendations, arguing that the problem constitutes a national-security priority.

“Globalists and Islamists recognize that for their visions to succeed, America, both as an ideal and as a national and political identity, must be destroyed,” the memo warns. It argues that this has led “Islamists [to] ally with cultural Marxists,” but that in the long run, “Islamists will co-opt the movement in its entirety.”

Higgins wrote the memo in late May, and at some point afterwards it began circulating among people outside the White House associated with the Trump campaign to whom Higgins had given it.

Higgins, according to another source with direct knowledge of the incident, was called into the White House Counsel’s office the week before last and asked about the memo. On July 21, the Friday of that week, he was informed by McMaster’s deputy Ricky Waddell that he was losing his job.

Higgins had also “pushed for declassification of documents having to do with radical Islam and Iran,” according to a source close to the White House. A source close to Higgins said that specifically, Higgins had been pushing for the declassification of Presidential Study Directive 11, a classified report produced in 2010 by the Obama administration which presaged the Arab Spring, outlining unrest throughout the Middle East. The directive has become a shibboleth of activists such as Frank Gaffney, who see it as evidence of the Obama administration’s links to the Muslim Brotherhood and other Islamist groups.

Higgins’s past writings focus on similar themes. “National Security officials are prohibited from developing a factual understanding of Islamic threat doctrines, preferring instead to depend upon 5th column Muslim Brotherhood cultural advisors,” he wrote in September. Higgins gave an interview to the Daily Caller News Foundation last year that outlines many of the same ideas laid out in the memo.

Since Higgins’s removal, there have been further changes inside the council. McMaster fired Derek Harvey, the senior director for the Middle East, last week. Also a Bannon ally, Harvey had a difficult relationship with his staff. Though Harvey sent a note over the weekend to contacts and friends sharing his personal contact information and previously confirmed his departure from the council in a statement, he may get another job within the administration. Higgins appears to have been afforded less of a soft landing….

CLEVELAND, Ohio — An Akron terrorism suspect sentenced to 20 years in federal prison on Wednesday threatened the judge who handed down the sentence.

Terrence McNeil, 24, made the remarks to U.S. District Judge Dan Polster toward the end of a sentencing hearing on charges that he threatened members of the military and their families in the name of the Islamic State, a terrorist group also known as ISIS or ISIL.

McNeil also said he would be rewarded in the afterlife.

“Nothing you did today even matters. Jihad will continue until the day of judgment,” McNeil said. “And that’s a promise from Allah. It’s not going to change. It’s not going to stop. Neither of them are. My commission of Allah is not going to stop. So this is meaningless. I’ll be rewarded for what I do. You’ll be punished for what you do. I’m fine with that. You’re fine with that. So we’ll wait for the punishment of Allah to afflict you, either by himself or through the hands of the Muslims, and then we’ll see. Inshallah.”

Polster responded, “All right. Mr. McNeil, while I respect your opinion, I think you have confirmed the wisdom of my 20-year sentence.”

The FBI arrested McNeil in November 2015 after he used social-media websites to profess his support for ISIS, prosecutors said. A file he posted Sept. 24, 2015 on his Tumblr page had the header “Islamic State Hacking Division,” followed by “Target: United States Military” and “Leak: Addresses of 100 U.S. Military Personnel.”

The file, first posted by someone else in March 2015, is a .gif, which allows multiple images to be looped. The text of the first file encouraged people who saw it to kill the military members “in their own lands, behead them in their own homes, stab them to death as they walk their streets thinking that they are safe…”, prosecutors said.

He also made similar postings on Twitter and Tumblr at least two other times.

McNeil, who has been in federal custody since his arrest, pleaded guilty in April to 10 terrorism-related charges. While facing a life sentence if he was convicted at trial, McNeil agreed to serve between 15 and 20 years in federal prison.

On Wednesday, McNeil began the sentencing hearing by refusing to stand when the judge entered the room, a customary sign of respect done in most court cases. Before his parting words, he only gave terse “yes” and “no” answers when the judge asked him questions.

Nathan Ray, McNeil’s attorney, tried to argue for a 15-year sentence. His client, who has never been charged in another criminal case, never took any actions to carry out what he said were his beliefs other than the social media posts, Ray said.

“I don’t believe at the time, he appreciated the magnitude of what he was doing, judge” Ray said.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Christos Georgalis disputed this, saying “the whole point of the post was for Mr. McNeil to encourage others to carry out the attacks.”

Georgalis, in arguing for 20 years, also said McNeil researched gun prices from local dealers and had a document that showed how to make a homemade bomb.

He also said some military members and their families took security measures after McNeil made his posts, with some moving and others buying guns or installing home security systems.

“This threat will be there forever,” Georgalis said.

McNeil’s social media accounts were filled with ISIL propaganda and statements such as “I can’t wait for another 9/11, Boston bombing, or Sandy Hook!!!”, according to the government’s sentencing memo.

He posted videos on his Tumblr pages that showed ISIL members killing people by blowing up a car or drowning them in a cage.

Polster said he watched the videos while preparing for McNeil’s planned trial and found them to be truly disturbing.

“I had read about them, but it’s a heck of a lot different reading about then than watching them,” Polster said.

McNeil is expected to pay restitution to the military members who took security measures, though an amount has not yet been set.

UK: Christian woman prosecuted for talking about Christianity to a Muslim colleague

A Christian therapist in England who was suspended after being accused of evangelizing to a Muslim colleague has suffered another loss in court.

Would a Muslim be taken to court for sharing his or her faith with a coworker? Whether or not Victoria Wasteney was proselytizing to her Muslim colleague on the job or not is to be determined in court. However, there remains a larger issue: Western authorities are giving the impression that while Christians are studied under a microscope for accountability, Muslims are not. Some examples:

• University of California Berkeley Muslim professor Hatem Bazian has been openly calling for an intifada in America, and he has issued these violent calls at several venues throughout the United States.
• Nadia Shoufani, a Toronto-area school teacher who called a Palestinian jihadist who crushed the skull of a four-year-old Israeli girl a hero and martyr, was said to have been investigated by her school board and by Toronto Police. But there has been no followup.
• Farrah Marfatia, a principal of a Muslim academy in Mississauga, near Toronto, Canada was instructing parents to teach their children that “homosexuals are cursed by Allah as are the men who imitate or dress up like women.” Once again, there was no followup.

One can imagine the public outcry if Christians or Jews were preaching those same words — the court battles, the disdain. But where is the same reaction when Muslims say this? Instead, we see Victoria Wasteney, a Christian woman, in court for imparting messages about her faith’s love and healing to a Muslim colleague with whom she developed a relationship (or so she thought). While there are rules against proselytizing in places of employment, Wasteney was discussing her faith to a colleague, not to a client.

While Ms. Wasteney is being prosecuted in London, Sharia courts in Britain are sending Muslim women back to abusive husbands.

“Christian Hospital Worker Punished for Sharing Faith Loses Again in Court”, by Samuel Smith, Christian Post, July 29, 2017:

A Christian therapist in England who was suspended after being accused of evangelizing to a Muslim colleague has suffered another loss in court.

Victoria Wasteney, the former head of Forensic Occupational Therapy at a hospital in London, was issued a nine-month suspension by East London National Health Service in 2014 after an eight-page complaint was filed against her by a Muslim colleague named Enya Nawaz.

As has been reported, Nawaz and Wasteney, a born-again Christian, developed a relationship while working at the St. John Howard Centre in East London and at points discussed religious differences.

Nawaz’s complaint accused Wasteney of trying to convert her to Christianity. Wasteney reportedly offered to pray with Nawaz, gave her a book authored by a Muslim convert to Christianity and invited her to an event organized by her church.

Wasteney was also accused of putting her hand on Nawaz’s knee while in a prayer and asking God to come to Nawaz.

Wasteney was initially thrown off by the allegations because she thought they had developed a good relationship. She told the Daily Mail in 2015 that she only put her hand on Nawaz’s knee to comfort Nawaz when she was dealing with health problems.

“I put my hand on her knee to comfort her and asked if that was okay, and said, ‘Would you like me to pray for you?'” Wasteney told the Daily Mail, “She said yes, so I asked for God to bring peace and healing. She left the office afterwards and said she was okay.”

Wasteney has denied that her act of giving Nawaz the book I Dared to Call Him Father, was an attempt to convert her.

According to The Telegraph, an East London NHS Foundation Trust disciplinary hearing in February 2014 upheld three charges against Wasteney and found five charges to be unsubstantiated. In the hearing, Wasteney was convicted of “gross misconduct.”

In October 2015, Wasteney won the right to appeal the NHS’ action to the Employment Appeal Tribunal on the basis of religious liberty. However, Judge Jennifer Eady ruled against her in April 2016.

“What the court clearly failed to do was to say how, in today’s politically correct world, any Christian can even enter into a conversation with a fellow employee on the subject of religion and not, potentially, later end up in an employment tribunal,” Wasteney was quoted as saying at the time. “If someone sends you friendly text messages, how is one to know that they are offended? I had no idea that I was upsetting her.”

According to the U.K.-based Christian Legal Centre, Wasteney filed for an appeal against Eady’s 2016 decision and appeared in court Thursday. However, a tweet from the advocacy group on Thursday explained that Wasteney’s “permission to appeal has been rejected” and the “legal battle goes on.”….

Robert Spencer: Yes, It Really Is All About Islam

Two news items this week show us once again what the establishment media and almost all political authorities in the free world are determined to deny: jihad terrorism really is all about Islam.

The first was in Australia, from which the Daily Mail Australia reported Saturday that “about 40 heavily-armed police stormed a Surry Hills home at 4pm before raiding properties in Lakemba, Punchbowl and Wiley Park in Sydney’s west. An Islamist cell is accused of planning to bring down a domestic flight with an ‘explosive device’ discovered at the Cleveland Street home.”

Neighbors of the four Muslims who were arrested professed to be shocked. One told reporters that the arrested men were “perfectly nice and normal people. We knew them to say hello to and they seemed nice.”

They probably were nice and normal. They just believed in jihad against the Infidel. Nowhere are non-Muslim governments taking that possibility into account. Australian authorities, like authorities all over the West, are indefatigably committed to the idea that Islam is a Religion of Peace, and that every last Muslim in the West is a loyal citizen who is committed to a pluralistic society and abhors jihad terror.

And if the neighbors of these Muslims in the West express the slightest doubt as to these Muslims’ abhorrence of jihad terror, they will be brought up on “Islamophobia” and “hate speech” charges and fined or jailed. Non-Muslims better assume their Muslim neighbors are “nice and normal,” or else.

Meanwhile, these “nice and normal” Muslim neighbors were plotting to bomb a commercial airliner in the name of Islam and jihad, hoping to kill hundreds and destroy the lives of countless others.

Why? Because they believed in the Qur’an and Sunnah, and in the imperatives contained in both to wage jihad against unbelievers. Islam, and only Islam, explains what would transform “nice and normal” neighbors into mass murderers. From an Islamic standpoint, there is nothing that isn’t “nice and normal” about jihad mass murder.

The second news item comes from Germany, where, according to the Associated Press, “a Palestinian man who allegedly stabbed one person to death and wounded six others in Hamburg was known to authorities as a suspected Islamic radical but is also psychologically unstable.”

As is always the case with instances such as this one, we’re told that “the man’s motive remained unclear.” However, he was screaming “Allahu akbar” as he stabbed the shoppers, and according to AP, “a friend had tipped authorities off to changes in the man, telling them that he stopped drinking alcohol and started talking about the Quran, said Torsten Voss, head of the Hamburg branch of the domestic intelligence agency.”

He “stopped drinking alcohol and started talking about the Quran.”

Before Barack Obama in 2011 ordered the scrubbing of counter-terror training materials of all mention of Islam and jihad, this would have been taken as a possible sign that a Muslim could potentially become a jihad terrorist. On October 19, 2011, Farhana Khera of Muslim Advocates wrote a letter to John Brennan, who was then the Assistant to the President on National Security for Homeland Security and Counter Terrorism. The letter was signed not just by Khera, but by the leaders of virtually all the significant Islamic groups in the United States, including CAIR, ISNA, MAS, ICNA, and MPAC.

The letter denounced what it characterized as U.S. government agencies’ “use of biased, false and highly offensive training materials about Muslims and Islam.” Khera stated:

A 2006 FBI intelligence report stating that individuals who convert to Islam are on the path to becoming “Homegrown Islamic Extremists,” if they exhibit any of the following behavior:

• “Wearing traditional Muslim attire”

• “Growing facial hair”

• “Frequent attendance at a mosque or a prayer group”

• “Travel to a Muslim country”

• “Increased activity in a pro-Muslim social group or political cause”

But the FBI intelligence report Khera purported to be describing didn’t actually say that converts to Islam were necessarily “on the path” to becoming “extremists” if they wore traditional Muslim attire, grew facial hair, and frequently attended a mosque; it simply included these behaviors among a list of fourteen indicators to “identify an individual going through the radicalization process.” Others included “travel without obvious source of funds’; “suspicious purchases of bomb making paraphernalia or weapons”; “large transfer of funds, from or to overseas”; and “formation of operational cells.” Khera selectively quoted and misrepresented the list to give the impression that the FBI was saying that devout observance of Islam led inevitably and in every case to “extremism.”

In any case, all that was swept away. It became “Islamophobic” to take a newfound interest in Islam as any indication that an individual was on a path to jihad. And so the Hamburg supermarket attacker was free to stab people at will, because German authorities wouldn’t have dreamed of doing something so “Islamophobic” as placing him under surveillance because he stopped drinking alcohol and started talking about the Qur’an (and was already known to them as an “Islamist”).

Yet the Hamburg attack and the Sydney plot both demonstrate yet again that all this really is all about Islam, and unless and until law enforcement officials begin to take that into account, a great many more people are going to die.

Jihadis in the U.S. military? “Security risks” found in Obama’s military recruitment of foreigners

Defense Department investigators have found ‘potential security risks’ in a program that recruits foreigners into the US military in exchange for citizenship, according to a new report.

A classified report from the Pentagon’s inspector general found that the Military Accessions Vital to the National Interest (MAVNI) program had potential monitoring and vetting problems, sources told Fox News.

MAVNI was launched in 2009 and has enrolled more than 10,000 foreign-born individuals without permanent residency status into the US military….

The program is currently not accepting new applicants as it undergoes a security review.

In September, the Department of Defense revoked the eligibility of MAVNI recruits for security clearances until the completion of their first enlistment and a positive security review – even if they had already been naturalized as US citizens.

Several naturalized MAVNI soldiers filed a lawsuit in response, saying that the order discriminated against them unconstitutionally on the basis of their national origin, and could cripple their careers by denying them security clearances.

It is unknown whether any of the security and infiltration concerns related to threats from ISIS or Al-Qaeda.

Iran: US “blatantly” violating nuke deal, “will be harmed”

And Iran’s lobby in the U.S. is outraged at the prospect of more inspections. Why? What does Iran have to hide?

“Iran: U.S. Violating Nuclear Deal,” by Adam Kredo, Washington Free Beacon, August 1, 2017:

Senior Iranian officials are accusing the United States of violating the landmark nuclear accord and promising to take punitive measures against America for this action, according to recent comments that come on the heels of renewed efforts by the Trump administration and Congress to sanction Tehran for its ballistic missile program and regional support for terrorism.

Ali Larijani, speaker of Iran’s parliament, lashed out Tuesday at the Trump administration and accused it of “blatantly” violating statutes in the nuclear agreement that obligate the United States to promote international trade with Iran and refrain from issuing new sanctions.

Larijana promised that Iran would “act decisively” to retaliate against the United States with its own package of sanctions and other measures, according to comments by the senior leader. Iranian President Hassan Rouhani threatened that American “will be harmed” by its recent moves….

A State Department official, speaking only on background, told the Washington Free Beacon that the comments by Iran’s leaders will not deter the Trump administration from continuing to sanction Tehran.

The U.S. government intends to continue to target Iran’s malign activity that is outside the scope of the nuclear deal, the officials said, referring to U.S. action against Tehran that is viewed as not directly violating the agreement. “We have been clear all along that there would continue to be sanctions on non-nuclear areas,” the officials said.

Iranian leaders continued to bash the United States on Tuesday, following the recent round of sanctions imposed by the Trump administration and Congress.

Rouhani issued a warning to the United States as the Iranian parliament considered emergency measures to retaliate against the United States.

“The Americans should know that they will be harmed more by such moves, as such acts will isolate them in the world,” Rouhani was quoted as saying.

Larijani, speaker of Iran’s parliament also accused the United States of violating the deal.

“Given the evidence, in our view in the nuclear committee (which supervises implementation of the nuclear deal) the Americans have blatantly violated the nuclear deal,” Larijani was quoted as telling reporters Tuesday in Tehran.

“Mr. Trump advised other countries not to invest in Iran; such remarks are against the nuclear deal and such an atmosphere shouldn’t be created based on the agreement,” Lirijani was quoted as saying. “Iran should act decisively and wisely to prevent the Americans from attaining their goals.”

Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif, who negotiated the nuclear deal, also accused the Trump administration of violating the agreement and vowed that Iran would continue its work on ballistic missile technology, which it claims does not violate international accords baring such activity.

The U.S. State Department, however, disagrees with this characterization and accused Iran of being in breach of United Nations resolutions that call on Iran to refrain from testing and constructing ballistic missiles.

Iran—which conducted a major space launch last week—has been steadfast about its commitment to pursuing advanced missile technology, an issue that has emerged as a flashpoint between Tehran and the United States in recent months.

“Iran, unlike the U.S., has complied in good faith with the letter and spirit of the JCPOA, while U.S. rhetoric and measures indicated its bad faith,” Zarif was quoted as saying this week….

Virginia: School lesson – ‘create poster about 5 Pillars of Islam to be displayed in classroom around the school’

More detail on the Dept of Education’s Islamic indoctrination program for public schools video we posted earlier this year. It’s not clear which schools in Virginia are assigning this to students, but it has more than 130,000 views already. That’s just one page in Virginia. It’s in your state too.

It’s called “Access Islam” and it’s being pushed as an educational religious indoctrination program for millions of children in public schools across America.

Access Islam has been a growing effort, among the progressive left and the US government, to introduce the cult of Islam to millions upon millions of unsuspecting parents and school children, many of whom are not allowed to share their given Christian faith, in any form, while on public school grounds.

The initial phase of the instruction (or indoctrination) involves one of the most basic tenets of Muslimism, that being the five pillars of Islam.

UK: Muslim from pro-Sharia, pro-caliphate group gives keynote speech at Universities UK HQ

A RADICAL Islamist group facing a government ban has sparked outrage across the country after a senior member gave a keynote speech at the headquarters of Universities UK.

The Hizb ut-Tahrir is a Salafi movement blacklisted across parts of Europe and much of the Middle East for its public support of a caliphate and the introduction of Sharia law throughout the Islamic world.

Described in Government reports as anti-semitic, homophobic and anti-Western, the group has hit the headlines multiple times, most recently for encouraging British Muslims not to vote in the General Election, and praising the concept of jihad.

Hizb ut-Tahrir, meaning “Party of Liberation,” was founded by Palestinian Taqiuddin al-Nabhani al-Filastyni in 1953, with chapters operating in more than 40 countries, and has been described as a “conveyer belt for terrorists”.

The movement has incited fury once again, after its national executive Jamal Harwood addressed delegates at the Great Debate event, held at the Woburn House Conference Centre earlier this year.

The centre is owned by advocacy organisation Universities UK (UUK), which represents the higher education sector across the country.

Hizb ut-Tahrir is one of the organisations “no platformed” by the National Union of Students, with a number of universities cancelling events when learning speakers from this organisation are on the line-up.

Introduced in 1974, the NUS’ “No Platform” policy prevents individuals or groups known to hold racist or fascist views from speaking at NUS events.

It also ensures NUS officers will not share a public platform with individuals or groups known to hold racist or fascist views.

The union has only six organisations listed under this policy at present – Al-Muhajiroun, British National Party, English Defence League, Hizb ut-Tahrir, Muslim Public Affairs Committee and National Action.

It has emerged Mr Harwood spoke as part of a panel titled “Is the Caliphate a viable alternative for the Middle East?” alongside a professor from SOAS University of London, at the event held in April….

Denmark: Rapes Soared 196 PERCENT Since Liberal Government Took Power, Invited Refugees

Shakespeare’s Hamlet would agree: Something is rotten in the state of Denmark.

Since the self-proclaimed Conservative party Venstre (meaning “Left”) with their slogan “Denmark’s Liberal party” took power in June 2015, the number of rapes reported to the police has soared by a shocking 196 percent, according to the Danish state’s bureau of statistics.

This rise in rape attacks coincides with the liberal government’s opening of Danish national borders to refugees that primarily are from Islamic countries.

In Denmark, there are no official statistics on the rapists’ ethnicity or nationalities, but according to a report from the Danish Ministry of Justice, “There is a clear overrepresentation of immigrants from non-western countries when looking at the statistics of convicted rapists.”

UK: Arrest in case of 2003 Muslim rape gang victim believed ground up, put in kebab meat

Police in the UK have now made an arrest from a case in 2003 in which a Muslim rape gang victim “was believed ground up and sold as kebab meat.” When will Westerners accept that there is indeed a clash of civilizations that now threatens our freedom and principles of human rights for all?

The Muslim rape-gang brutalization of up to a million girls that was covered up by UK authorities for fear of charges of “racism” was bad enough. The assaults continue from these Muslim rape gangs that the British media calls “Asian”:

Muslim grooming gangs also continue to plague the North of England, according to recent reports, in which police allege that the Yorkshire town of Keighley may be home to a new grooming scandal involving over 179 individual sex crimes.

Now comes word:

Police in Blackpool say they have arrested a 51-year-old man in connection with the 14-year-old murder case of reported child grooming gang victim Charlene Downes whose body was believed to have been chopped up and put into kebab meat.

How many more assaults are innocent people in Western countries to endure at the hands of Islamic supremacists and jihadists before authorities do their jobs and protect their countries from further incursion by means of their lax immigration policies, which permit the large-scale introduction of anti-democratic ideologies, as well as full-on jihad assaults and crimes?

The Islamic State, meanwhile, has also been teaching its jihadis to eat non-Muslims, and it was preached to youths at the foremost Islamic institution, Cairo’s Al Azhar that they could kill and eat people who left Islam.

Police in Blackpool say they have arrested a 51-year-old man in connection with the 14-year-old murder case of reported child grooming gang victim Charlene Downes whose body was believed to have been chopped up and put into kebab meat.

Charlene Downes, 14 at the time of her disappearance, was last seen in Blackpool in 2003 and is believed to have been not only murdered but that her killers disposed of her body by putting it into kebab meat at a local seaside kebab shop.

Police have said they believe Charlene may have been linked to grooming gangs in Blackpool and say that they discovered at least 60 underage girls had been sexually groomed at “honey pot” takeaways in the city. The Daily Telegraph reported in 2011 that these children had been targeted with food, drugs, and alcohol in return for sex in the city.

Fourteen years later, authorities now say they have arrested a 51-year-old man in connection with her disappearance only after Charlene’s parents were able to force police to examine CCTV footage that had been in storage for 12 years, the Daily Mail reports.

A spokesman for Lancashire Police released a statement after the arrest saying: “The man, aged 51, who lived in Blackpool at the time of Charlene’s disappearance, is currently in custody. Charlene was just 14 years old when she was last seen in Blackpool on Saturday, November 1, 2003. A £100,000 reward remains on offer for information leading to the conviction of her killer or killers.”

Charlene’s mother expressed outrage that the CCTV footage had been kept hidden for over a decade saying: “It is unbelievable that they have had that footage all those years and never used it. It is an absolute disgrace and an insult to the memory of my dead daughter.”

She added that if the footage were available sooner than the 2007 murder trial, which, due to police error, led to the acquittal of Funny Boyz kebab worker Ilyad Albattikh for murder and Mohammed Reveshi for disposal of Charlene’s body, may have turned out differently.

At the time of the trial, the court was told the fast food shop owner had “joked” Downes had been chopped up and put into kebabs that were sold to the public. After the acquittal, the two men were paid £250,000 in compensation.

Earlier this year, another kebab shop made headlines after it was revealed that a 16-year-old girl was brutally gang raped by multiple Afghan Muslim men.
