Unfortunately for them, the plan isn’t coming to fruition, at least not as intended. News broke last week that the U.S. represents literally the only nation not a signatory to the Paris climate accord following Syria’s about-face. Ecofascists are furious, but the move was a sterling one, especially considering the evidence isn’t in their favor. According to a new report, the trend is already heading in the direction that conservatives warned it would. It’s been predicted that whatever positives the U.S. achieves in terms of limiting emissions output will be canceled out by other big polluters like China. New indications via the Global Carbon Project affirm this concern.
According to The Washington Times, “Several studies released by the Global Carbon Project and presented Monday at a United Nations climate conference in Germany say that worldwide carbon emissions are projected to rise about 2 percent in 2017 after they’d been flat for three years, according to preliminary estimates of this year’s data. The culprit, the data show, is China, which had kept its emissions in check in recent years but now is seeing a massive uptick in pollution. Under the Paris pact, China agreed to cap its emissions by 2030, meaning it’s free to ramp up pollution between now and then. China’s uptick in 2017, which comes after a 1 percent drop in 2015 and flat emissions last year, largely is due to the country’s increased use of fossil fuels.”
One researcher stated the obvious: “Global commitments made in Paris in 2015 to reduce emissions are still not being matched by actions.” Not that it’s America’s fault. Emissions here are expected to see a 0.4% drop this year, which is happening without the onerous requirements set forth under the Paris climate accord. We can’t control what other nations do, nor should we expect to. But we certainly don’t have to be accomplices in their devious exploits. Early Drafts of Comey's Exoneration Statement Acknowledged liar-Hillary Clinton Violated Federal Law
{townhall.com} ~ Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley sent a letter to FBI Director Christopher Wray late Monday afternoon demanding to know why early versions of former FBI Director James Comey's statement exonerating liar-Hillary Clinton strongly indicated she had violated federal law by hosting and sharing top secret information on a personal email server. In Comey's final statement, which he delivered in July 2016, that language was changed.
“Although Director Comey’s original version of his statement acknowledged that Secretary liar-Clinton had violated the statute prohibiting gross negligence in the handling of classified information, he nonetheless exonerated her in that early, May 2nd draft statement anyway, arguing that this part of the statute should not be enforced,” Grassley said.
From the letter, which details how the statement changed:
On November 3, 2017, the FBI provided documents in response to the Committee’s August 30, 2017, letter requesting records relating to then-Director Comey’s statement exonerating Secretary liar-Clinton from criminal wrongdoing. Among those documents, the FBI provided what appears to be a May 2, 2016, draft of the exoneration statement, two months before Director Comey’s July 5, 2016 press conference. In that draft, the original language is shown to have included the following sentence:
There is evidence to support a conclusion that Secretary liar-Clinton, and others, used the private email server in a manner that was grossly negligent with respect to the handling of classified material.
That same draft also included the following sentence:
Similarly, the sheer volume of information that was properly classified as Secret at the time it was discussed on email that is, excluding the “up classified” emails supports an inference that the participants were grossly negligent in their handling of that information.
As you are aware, 18 U.S.C. § 793(f) makes the mishandling of classified material through gross negligence a criminal act. Although Director Comey’s original version of his statement acknowledged that Secretary liar-Clinton had violated the statute prohibiting gross negligence in the handling of classified information, he nonetheless exonerated her in that early, May 2nd draft statement anyway, arguing that this part of the statute should not be enforced.
Apparently, as of May 2016, then-Director Comey and other FBI officials believed the facts fit that gross negligence standard until later edits were made on or about June 10, 2016, removing those two sentences and including the following sentence instead:
Although we did not find clear evidence that Secretary liar-Clinton or her colleagues intended to violate laws governing the handling of classified information, there is evidence that they were extremely careless in their handling of very sensitive, highly classified information.
Grassley is now seeking all documents and information about conversations surrounding edits of the statement. He also wants to see each version of the draft remarks.
Comey drafted liar-Clinton's exoneration statement in May 2016, months before liar-Clinton and a number of other key witnesses in the FBI criminal case were interviewed and long before agents were finished with their investigation.

For terminally hypocritical Democrats, some billionaires and their spending are “more equal” than others. Thus Tom Steyer is their latest hero, not only because he spends money on their agenda but because he’s just as comfortable with rank hypocrisy as they are.
“The president is doing some awful things. That’s the point we’re trying to make in those TV ads: ‘Let’s come together and stand up against somebody who’s doing awful things,’” Steyer stated in an interview with Newsweek. “But [I’m] as disturbed by the good things that he’s not doing as by the awful things that he is doing.”
Steyer’s first ad is quite melodramatic. He accuses Trump of bringing America to the brink of nuclear war, obstructing justice at the FBI, taking money from foreign governments and threatening to shut down media organizations that report the truth. “If this is not a case for impeaching and removing a dangerous president, then what has our government become?” he asks.
What our government has become is largely a self-serving enterprise where the needs of the American people have been ignored for decades. That reality — no doubt to Steyer’s chagrin — is why Trump got elected in the first place.
Moreover, if Democrats still want to rail about the excess influence of shadowy billionaires, perhaps they might take note that no one contributed more of his own money to federal candidates, parties, political action committees, etc., during the 2016 election cycle than Tom Steyer. He donated a whopping $91.1 million, solely to Democrat and leftist entities.
The Koch brothers? Pikers by comparison. Only Charles made the list’s top 100. His total contribution? A little over $4 million.
Steyer is free to spend his wealth as he sees fit, but the man who likened Trump’s withdrawal from the Paris accord on global warming as “a traitorous act of war against the American people” is as self-serving as anyone on the planet. His group, Next Gen Climate, is a super PAC that aims to move the nation to a 100% renewable energy future within 25 years. And while it’s framed as a noble enterprise, a July 2016 report by the non-profit watchdog Energy & Environment Legal Institute reveals otherwise. Entitled “Buying the Democrat Party Lock, Stock and Barrel,” the report details Steyer’s efforts to “protect his solar energy investments by spending tens of millions of dollars on key 2016 races, buying a plank in the 2016 Democrat platform, and trying to silence debate from those who challenge his view on ‘climate change’ by using select attorneys general to prosecute ‘dissenters.’”
That would be Steyer’s current solar investments. After a career on Wall Street that included stints at Goldman Sachs and equity firm Hellman & Freidman, Steyer took $15 million in seed money and founded Farallon Capital Management in 1986. By 2011, Farallon had become the 12th largest hedge fund in the world, with $21.5 billion in assets.
How? Among other things, Farallon provided funding for acquisitions and expansions to six of the largest coal mine and coal power plant buyouts in Australia and Asia since 2003. Steyer’s hypocrisy is so egregious, a group of Yale students created the website UnFarallon.info to keep track of it.
It is hypocrisy that also surrounds his opposition to the Keystone pipeline. As a 2014 Wall Street Journal article noted, “Mr. Steyer and the [Democrat] party’s liberal financiers are climate-change absolutists who have made killing Keystone a non-negotiable demand.” Yet 2014 was also the year it was revealed Farallon had $40 million invested in Kinder Morgan, an entity building a competitor to Keystone. That inconvenient truth elicited a promise from Steyer to sell his stock shares and donate the profits to charity.
In May 2016, leaked corporate documents also showed that Steyer helped to finance a company used by the family of former Chinese premier Wen Jiabao “to park investments in overseas tax havens,” The Washington Free Beacon reported.
That revelation was part of the Panama Papers scandal precipitated by a leak of 11.5 million files from the database of Mossack Fonseca, the world’s fourth largest offshore law firm. The files detailed how the rich exploit offshore tax havens. “The documents shed light on the activities Steyer engaged in to earn his estimated $1.6 billion fortune, but that run counter to many political principles and causes he is now using that fortune to support,” the Free Beacon explains.
In short, Steyer was for anti-environmental profit-making before he was against it.
What about Steyer’s “conversion” to green energy? As The New York Times explained in 2014, Farallon “has pumped hundreds of millions of dollars into companies that operate coal mines and coal-fired power plants from Indonesia to China.” It further notes an examination of those records “shows that even after his highly public divestment, the coal-related projects his firm bankrolled will generate tens of millions of tons of carbon pollution for years, if not decades, to come.”
The Times thought this might “cloud” Steyer’s image as an environmental crusader. No doubt. But it certainly clarifies his image as a first-class fraud, one reportedly considering a run for Sen. Dianne Feinstein’s seat.
In the meantime, Steyer remains focused on Trump’s impeachment. “I believe we’re in an urgent political crisis,” he insists.
Republican National Committee spokesman Michael Ahrens isn’t particularly concerned. “If Democrats want to appease the far left and their liberal mega-donors by supporting a baseless radical effort that the vast majority of Americans disagree with, then have at it,” he told Newsweek in an email.
An American Left that believes it is entitled to rule, irrespective of election results, will undoubtedly do just that, embracing every effort to delegitimize the presidency of Donald Trump — by any means necessary.
Tom Steyer is leftists’ chief financier, a man so arrogant he believes global warming “deniers” should be prosecuted and that impeachment proceedings can literally be bought.
Along with Democrat politicians. “We need people like Tom Steyer,” Harry dinky-Reid stated on May 20, 2014, two months after hammering the Kochs — and three days after it was reported that Steyer contributed $5 million to the Senate Majority PAC run by former dinky-Reid aides.

Saudi Purges and Duty to Act

{truthrevolt.org} ~ For 70 years, Saudi Arabia served as the largest and most significant incubator of Sunni jihad. Its Wahhabist Islamic establishment funded radical mosques throughout the world. Saudi princes have supported radical Islamic clerics who have indoctrinated their followers to pursue jihad against the non-Islamic world. Saudi money stands behind most of the radical Islamic groups in the non-Islamic world that have in turn financed terrorist groups like Hamas and al-Qaida and have insulated radical Islam from scrutiny by Western governments and academics. Indeed, Saudi money stands behind the silence of critics of jihadist Islam in universities throughout the Western world.
As Mitchell Bard documented in his 2011 book, The Arab Lobby, any power pro-Israel forces in Washington, DC, have developed pales in comparison to the power of Arab forces, led by the Saudi government. Saudi government spending on lobbyists in Washington far outstrips that of any other nation. According to Justice Department disclosures from earlier this year, since 2015, Saudi Arabia vastly increased its spending on influence peddling. According to a report by The Intercept, “Since 2015, the Kingdom has expanded the number of foreign agents on retainer to 145, up from 25 registered agents during the previous two-year period.”
Saudi lobbyists shielded the kingdom from serious criticism after 15 of the 19 September 11 hijackers were shown to be Saudi nationals. They blocked a reconsideration of the US’s strategic alliance with Saudi Arabia after the attacks and in subsequent years, even as it was revealed that Princess Haifa, wife of Prince Bandar, the Saudi ambassador to Washington at the time the September 11 attacks occurred, had financially supported two of the hijackers in the months that preceded the attacks.
The US position on Saudi Arabia cooled demonstrably during the liar-nObama administration. This cooling was not due to a newfound concern over Saudi financial support for radical Islam in the US. To the contrary, the liar-nObama administration was friendlier to Islamists than any previous administration. Consider the liar-nObama administration’s placement of Muslim Brotherhood supporters in key positions in the federal government. For instance, in 2010, then secretary for Homeland Security Janet Napolitano appointed Mohamed Elibiary to the department’s Homeland Security Advisory Board. Elibiary had a long, open record of support both for the Muslim Brotherhood and for the Iranian regime. In his position he was instrumental in purging discussion of Islam and Jihad from instruction materials used by the US military, law enforcement and intelligence agencies. The liar-nObama administration’s cold relations with the Saudi regime owed to its pronounced desire to ditch the US’s traditional alliance with the Saudis, the Egyptians and the US’s other traditional Sunni allies in favor of an alliance with the Iranian regime.
During the same period, the Muslim Brotherhood’s close ties to the Iranian regime became increasingly obvious. Among other indicators, Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood-affiliated president Mohamed Morsi hosted Iranian leaders in Cairo and was poised to renew Egypt’s diplomatic ties with Iran before he was overthrown by the military in July 2013. Morsi permitted Iranian warships to traverse the Suez Canal for the first time in decades.
Saudi Arabia joined Egypt and the United Arab Emirates in designating the Muslim Brotherhood a terrorist group in 2014.
It was also during this period that the Saudis began warming their attitude toward Israel. Through Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, and due to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s leading role in opposing Iran’s nuclear program and its rising power in the Middle East, the Saudis began changing their positions on Israel.
Netanyahu’s long-time foreign policy adviser, Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs president Dr. Dore Gold, who authored the 2003 bestseller Hatred’s Kingdom: How Saudi Arabia Supports the New Global Terrorism which exposed Saudi Arabia’s role in promoting jihadist Islam, spearheaded a process of developing Israel’s security and diplomatic ties with Riyadh. Those ties, which are based on shared opposition to Iran’s regional empowerment, led to the surprising emergence of a working alliance between Saudi Arabia, Egypt and the UAE with Israel during Israel’s 2014 war with Hamas – the Palestinian branch of the Muslim Brotherhood.
It is in the context of Saudi Arabia’s reassessment of its interests and realignment of strategic posture in recent years that the dramatic events of the past few days in the kingdom must be seen.
Saturday’s sudden announcement that a new anti-corruption panel headed by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and the near simultaneous announcement of the arrest of more than two dozen royal family members, cabinet ministers and prominent businessmen is predominantly being presented as a power seizure by the crown prince. Amid widespread rumors that King Salman will soon abdicate the throne to his son, it is reasonable for the 32-year-old crown prince to work to neutralize all power centers that could threaten his ascension to the throne.
But there is clearly also something strategically more significant going on. While many of the officials arrested over the weekend threaten Mohammed’s power, they aren’t the only ones that he has purged. In September Mohammed arrested some 30 senior Wahhabist clerics and intellectuals. And Saturday’s arrest of the princes, cabinet ministers and business leaders was followed up by further arrests of senior Wahhabist clerics.
At the same time, Mohammed has been promoting clerics who espouse tolerance for other religions, including Judaism and Christianity. He has removed the Saudi religious police’s power to conduct arrests and he has taken seemingly credible steps to finally lift the kingdom-wide prohibition on women driving.
At the same time, Mohammed has escalated the kingdom’s operations against Iran’s proxies in Yemen.
And of course, on Saturday, he staged the resignation of Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri amid Hariri’s allegations that Hezbollah and Iran were plotting his murder, much as they stood behind the 2005 assassination of his father, prime minister Rafiq Hariri.
There can be little doubt that there was coordination between the Saudi regime and the Trump administration regarding Saturday’s actions. The timing of the administration’s release last week of most of the files US special forces seized during their 2011 raid of al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden’s compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan was likely not a coincidence.
The files, which the liar-nObama administration refused to release, make clear that liar-nObama’s two chief pretensions – that al-Qaida was a spent force by the time US forces killed bin Laden, and that Iran was interested in moderating its behavior were both untrue. The documents showed that al-Qaida’s operations remained a significant worldwide threat to US interests.
And perhaps more significantly, they showed that Iran was al-Qaida’s chief state sponsor. Much of al-Qaida’s leadership, including bin Laden’s sons, operated from Iran. The notion – touted by liar-nObama and his administration – that Shi’ite Iranians and Sunni terrorists from al-Qaida and other groups were incapable of cooperating was demonstrated to be an utter fiction by the documents.
Their publication now, as Saudi Arabia takes more determined steps to slash its support for radical Islamists, and separate itself from Wahhabist Islam, draws a clear distinction between Saudi Arabia and Iran.
Given Saudi Arabia’s record, and the kingdom’s 70-year alliance with Wahhabist clerics, it is hard to know whether Mohammed’s move signals an irrevocable breach between the House of Saud and the Wahhabists.
But the direction is clear. With Hariri’s removal from Lebanon, the lines between the forces of jihad and terrorism led by Iran, and the forces that oppose them are clearer than ever before. And the necessity of acting against the former and helping the latter has similarly never been more obvious.
Another Woman Comes Forward Saying George H.W. Bush Groped Her
Texas woman Roslyn Corrigan claims that former President George H.W. Bush groped her when she was just 16 years old.
According to Corrigan, the groping occurred in November of 2003 at an event in The Woodlands, Texas. This is the sixth woman to publicly accuse the 41st president of grabbing her butt without consent.
Speaking to Time magazine, Corrigan, who is now in her early 30s, said, “My initial action was absolute horror. I was really, really confused. The first thing I did was look at my mom and, while he was still standing there, I didn’t say anything,” she said. “What does a teenager say to the ex-president of the United States? Like, ‘Hey dude, you shouldn’t have touched me like that?’”
Like the other five incidents, Corrigan claims it happened when she was posing with Bush for a photograph. Bush was then 79 years old.

Bar Boycotts NFL – What They Did Will Make You Scream Like A Bald Eagle!
This bar decided to boycott NFL games and their reason is FANTASTIC.
Woody’s Roadside Tavern, a bar and grill in Farmingdale, New Jersey, decided to forgo all NFL games this weekend and instead raise money for a veterans charity.
The idea came from Army veteran, Andy Barcellona, who approached the owner of Woody’s and asked that they boycott one NFL Sunday to honor veterans. The owner, Chris Maltese, agreed and a percentage of food sales on Sunday is going to the Green Beret fund.

“I don’t think these football players have any idea of what they’re doing. I don’t think they’ve ever had to sacrifice anything. I think they’ve lived a privileged life and it’s hurtful,” Barcellona says.

“Most bar decisions are not easy, but we talked about it and it was the right thing to do. It was an easy decision,” says owner Chris Maltese.

It was a fake account. Here again we see Muslims faking “blasphemy crimes” under Islamic law as an excuse to burn, slaughter and destroy non-Muslims, their home and their villages. This is a pattern in the Islamic world, Muslims concoct a story of ‘disrespect’ to Islam or Muhammad in order to exact retribution or subjugate the infidel in some sort of depraved and perverse form of retribution of a perceived slight or in accordance with Muhammad’s teachings (the perfect example).

The social media post insulting the Propet Muhammed that led to a mob of angry Muslims burning down a Hindu village in Bangladesh was allegedly made on a fake account.
One person was killed and at least five more seriously injured after 20,000 Muslims attacked Hindu homes in the village of Thakurbari, in the Rangpur Sadar region of the country, last Friday.
The mob had been angered by a ‘blasphemous’ Facebook post published under the name of Titu Roy, a young man living in the area, but his family say it cannot have been written by him as he is illiterate.

By the time police arrived at the village last Friday at least 30 homes had already been burned down while others had been looted and vandalised, according to the Dhaka Tribune.
The crowd was made up of residents from between six and seven neighbouring villages, including Paglapeer, Mominpur and Horialkuthi.

They clashed with police who fired rubber bullets to control the crowds.

The mob later protested against the police response to the attack, blocking the Rangpur-Dinajpur highway for around four hours.
Local magistrates are investigating the incident and families affected by the riot were being assisted by authorities, it was reported.

This past June the agency voluntarily released its ratings for all of its 146 medical centers, which unfortunately showed little improvement over last year’s ratings. It’s clear that it will take more than a commitment to transparency to correct the problems plaguing the VA.
On that note, the House Veterans Affairs Committee will soon vote on a measure that would overhaul and make permanent the Veterans Choice Program, the temporary program Congress created in response to the 2014 VA scandal. Committee chairman Rep. Phil Roe (R-TN), who introduced the bill, stated, “I’ve said this from day one: The way to make the VA better is to make the VA compete and put veterans in charge of health care decisions. Just like we do in the private sector, if I don’t like my particular primary care doctor I can change. Veterans can do the same thing. That’s what I was really shooting for — to put some power in the veterans hands so the veteran and doctor can be making those decisions, not the VA bureaucrats, and that’s exactly what I think we’ve got with this bill.”
The bill, which enjoys strong bipartisan support, would effectively cut government red-tape giving veterans greater flexibility to pursue care outside the VA’s network of health care facilities. The bill would also establish a permanent network of private sector providers within each of the VA’s regions for veterans to seek care that the VA couldn’t offer. Essentially, the bill aims at empowering and freeing veterans to seek the best care available for their needs.
The American Legion positively responded to Roe’s bill, stating that it “will allow the department to provide greater access and develop stronger relationships with non-VA providers, ultimately moving toward a more integrated system with the veteran at the core.” However, the conservative non-profit Concerned Veterans for America does not believe that the bill goes far enough, stating that it had “some positive reforms” but “falls short of delivering real health care choice to our veterans.” Still, this bill is a step in the right direction, which Congress should be able to get behind in positively working toward correcting the VA’s dismal record. Yet Kim Jong Un has said he will never give up his nuclear weapons. He believes the survival of his dynastic regime depends upon them.
Hence we are headed for confrontation. Either the U.S. or North Korea backs down, as Nikita Khrushchev did in the Cuban missile crisis, or there will be war.
In this new century, U.S. leaders continue to draw red lines that threaten acts of war that the nation is unprepared to back up.
Recall President liar-nObama's, "Assad must go!" and the warning that any use of chemical weapons would cross his personal "red line."
Result: After chemical weapons were used, Americans rose in united opposition to a retaliatory strike. Congress refused to authorize any attack. liar-nObama and hanoi-John Kerry were left with egg all over their faces. And the credibility of the country was commensurately damaged.
There was a time when U.S. words were taken seriously, and we heeded Theodore Roosevelt's dictum: "Speak softly, and carry a big stick."
After Saddam Hussein invaded Kuwait in August 1991, George H.W. Bush said simply: "This will not stand." The world understood that if Saddam did not withdraw from Kuwait, his army would be thrown out. As it was.
But in the post-Cold War era, the rhetoric of U.S. statesmen has grown ever more blustery, even as U.S. relative power has declined. Our goal is "ending tyranny in our world," bellowed George W. Bush in his second inaugural.
Consider Rex Tillerson's recent trip. In Saudi Arabia, he declared, "Iranian militias that are in Iraq, now that the fight against ... ISIS is coming to a close ... need to go home. Any foreign fighters in Iraq need to go home."
The next day, Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi responded:
"We wonder about the statements attributed to the American secretary of state about the popular mobilization forces. ... No side has the right to intervene in Iraq's affairs or decide what Iraqis do."
This slap across the face comes from a regime that rules as a result of 4,500 U.S. dead, tens of thousands wounded and $1 trillion invested in the nation's rebuilding after 15 years of war.
Earlier that day, Tillerson made a two-hour visit to Afghanistan. There he met Afghan officials in a heavily guarded bunker near Bagram Airfield. Wrote The New York Times' Gardiner Harris:
"That top American officials must use stealth to enter these countries after more than 15 years of wars, thousands of lives lost and trillions of dollars spent was testimony to the stubborn problems still confronting the United States in both places."
Such are the fruits of our longest wars, launched with the neo-Churchillian rhetoric of George W. Bush.
In India, Tillerson called on the government to close its embassy in North Korea. New Delhi demurred, suggesting the facility might prove useful to the Americans in negotiating with Pyongyang.
In Geneva, Tillerson asserted, "The United States wants a whole and unified Syria with no role for Bashar al-Assad ... The reign of the Assad family is coming to an end."
Well, perhaps? But our "rebels" in Syria were routed and Assad not only survived his six-year civil war but with the aid of his Russian, Iranian, Shiite militia, and Hezbollah allies, he won that war, and intends to remain and rule, whether we approve or not.
We no longer speak to the world with the assured authority with which America did from Eisenhower to Reagan and Bush 1. Our moment, if ever it existed, as the "unipolar power" the "indispensable nation" that would exercise a "benevolent global hegemony" upon mankind is over.
America needs today a recognition of the new realities we face and a rhetoric that conforms to those realities.
Since Y2K our world has changed.
Putin's Russia has reasserted itself, rebuilt its strategic forces, confronted NATO, annexed Crimea and acted decisively in Syria, re-establishing itself as a power in the Middle East.
China, thanks to its vast trade surpluses at our expense, has grown into an economic and geostrategic rival on a scale that not even the USSR of the Cold War reached.
North Korea is now a nuclear power.
The Europeans are bedeviled by tribalism, secessionism and waves of seemingly unassimilable immigrants from the South and Middle East.
A once-vital NATO ally, Turkey, is virtually lost to the West. Our major Asian allies are dependent on exports to a China that has established a new order in the South China Sea.
In part because of our interventions, the Middle East is in turmoil, bedeviled by terrorism and breaking down along Sunni-Shiite lines.
The U.S. pre-eminence in the days of Desert Storm is history.
Yet, the architects of American decline may still be heard denouncing the "isolationists" who opposed their follies and warned what would befall the republic if it listened to them.

by Thomas Gallatin: Ever so slowly, Veterans Affairs malpractice is being addressed, with current VA Secretary David Shulkin having committed to establishing greater transparency within the agency. This past June the agency voluntarily released its ratings for all of its 146 medical centers, which unfortunately showed little improvement over last year’s ratings. It’s clear that it will take more than a commitment to transparency to correct the problems plaguing the VA.
On that note, the House Veterans Affairs Committee will soon vote on a measure that would overhaul and make permanent the Veterans Choice Program, the temporary program Congress created in response to the 2014 VA scandal. Committee chairman Rep. Phil Roe (R-TN), who introduced the bill, stated, “I’ve said this from day one: The way to make the VA better is to make the VA compete and put veterans in charge of health care decisions. Just like we do in the private sector, if I don’t like my particular primary care doctor I can change. Veterans can do the same thing. That’s what I was really shooting for — to put some power in the veterans hands so the veteran and doctor can be making those decisions, not the VA bureaucrats, and that’s exactly what I think we’ve got with this bill.”
The bill, which enjoys strong bipartisan support, would effectively cut government red-tape giving veterans greater flexibility to pursue care outside the VA’s network of health care facilities. The bill would also establish a permanent network of private sector providers within each of the VA’s regions for veterans to seek care that the VA couldn’t offer. Essentially, the bill aims at empowering and freeing veterans to seek the best care available for their needs.
The American Legion positively responded to Roe’s bill, stating that it “will allow the department to provide greater access and develop stronger relationships with non-VA providers, ultimately moving toward a more integrated system with the veteran at the core.” However, the conservative non-profit Concerned Veterans for America does not believe that the bill goes far enough, stating that it had “some positive reforms” but “falls short of delivering real health care choice to our veterans.” Still, this bill is a step in the right direction, which Congress should be able to get behind in positively working toward correcting the VA’s dismal record. CIA Director Stands By Russia Assessment

On October 24th, CIA Director Mike Pompeo met with former NSA official Bill Binney, a highly respected and credible expert on intelligence and its analysis turned whistleblower, at the insistence of President Trump. Robert Mueller Got Caught Using
This Spy In His Sick Plan To Impeach Trump

But he just got caught using this spy.
When Mueller announced he had secured a guilty plea from former Trump campaign volunteer George Papadopolous for lying to the FBI about his contacts with Russians during his brief time on the campaign, many Americans scratch their heads and said “who?”
The guilty plea surprised pundits because no one had ever really heard his name mentioned before in the investigation.
He was arrested over the summer and pled guilty in the beginning of October and the entire affair was kept under wraps.
In the plea agreement, however, there was a clue.
Papadopolous was listed as a “cooperating witness.”
This alarmed observers, as it likely meant he had been wearing a wire whenever he spoke to anyone connected with the Trump campaign as a spy so Mueller could catch them in process-crime lies and then prosecute them as leverage against Trump.
Judge Andrew Napolitano of Fox News said this made the investigation very dangerous for Trump.
“The Fox News senior judicial analyst emphasized the seriousness of the guilty plea by former Trump campaign foreign policy adviser George Papadopolous, who he said most likely “wore a wire” to potentially gather incriminating evidence against other Trump campaign officials.
Special Counsel Robert Mueller announced the guilty plea on Monday, saying Papadopolous lied to FBI agents about contacts with a Russia-linked professor who spoke of “dirt” on Hillary Clinton in the spring of 2016.
The professor, based in London, has denied the claims laid out by Papadopolous. Napolitano said the guilty plea by Papadopolous was “very unusual” because it occurred in secret and the judge ordered the plea documents to be sealed.
Napolitano said for that to happen, prosecutors would need to convince the court that a lack of secrecy would “materially interfere with an ongoing criminal investigation.”
He explained that the judge’s decision was likely based on Papadopolous “wearing a wire” as a cooperating witness.
Napolitano also said it’s telling that Papadopolous was not charged with obstruction of justice, perhaps because he has already provided “significant assistance” to investigators.”
Mueller is using an inside man to rat out Trump officials.
But will it work?
Papadopolous was a low-level volunteer who didn’t have any extensive contracts with the Trump campaign.
Using him as a spy could be a sign that Mueller doesn’t have much in the way of a collusion case and that he’s desperate to make anything stick so he can take out Trump.

It is high time that we in the West acknowledge that for the past 1400 years, Muslims have been at war with us. Sometimes, you’d hardly be aware of it. On other occasions, as when they invaded Europe during the Middle Ages or the Barbary pirates attacked our ships shortly after we’d won our freedom from England, they became something more than a blight on the world’s landscape.
If Islam is to be considered a religion, so is Nazism, Communism and so is my left shoe. What Islam really is, is a plague that spreads cancer to every corner of the earth.
Since 1979, when Jimmy Carter pulled the Persian rug out from under the Shah and ushered in 38 years of constant upheaval in the Middle East, Muslims have proven to be a worse nuisance than Russia, China or North Korea, and far likelier to use nuclear bombs to make a point.
By posing as followers of a religion, the barbarians have staved off a great deal of the hatred and derision that would otherwise be aimed in their direction. And what a religion it is that we’re supposed to respect! Its holy book calls for the subjugation and mutilation of women; that insists that non-Muslims should either be killed or converted; and that depicting Allah in a cartoon is a capital offense.
We are told that most Muslims don’t follow the teachings of Muhammad all that closely. If that’s the case, why don’t they take up another religion that would free them of the obligation of claiming they shouldn’t be lumped in with those who blow up, burn, shoot, stab, hack and drive over, infidels. Moreover, often as not, “infidels” are simply those who belong to a different faction of the death cult; be they Shia or Sunni.
On top of everything else, Muslims aren’t very bright. For instance, the lunkhead who was driving the rented van over the bicyclists in New York City allegedly spent weeks planning his attack.
Imagine taking more than ten seconds to decide to drive a vehicle over a bunch of innocent kids. What exactly took him so long? It wasn’t exactly like planning the Normandy invasion. The fact that the plans included arming himself with two guns, one of which shot paint balls; the other, pellets; would lead you to assume that Curly, Moe and Shep, helped Sayfullo Saipov work out the logistics of the massacre.
It didn’t make anyone sleep any better when we got word that Mr. Saipov was in America for no better reason than that he had been a prize winner in the federal Diversity Visa Program (DVP) lottery.
Until now, I had been unaware of the program which not only hands out 50,000 visas to people who have no business being here in the first place, but who are apparently allowed to bring along 23 of their nearest and dearest. Assuming my math skills haven’t totally deserted me, that means that the DVP is an open sesame for 1,200,000 (50,000 x 24) people we don’t know from Adam or from Allah, for that matter.
● Perhaps, I come across as a hypocrite, inasmuch as I have a beard, but if someone from a Muslim country shows up at our border with 18-inch whiskers, we should send him home until he shaves. And after he shaves, we should also keep him out, but at least he’d be clean-shaven. Neatness counts.
Of course, I realize that just because someone has a long shaggy beard doesn’t necessarily mean he has jihadism on his mind. He might very well be a professional baseball player. And although people always say you can’t have too much pitching, I think we already have plenty of them, and we certainly don’t need to import any more.
● The other day, while driving my car, which is the only time I listen to talk radio, I heard Michael Medved say something that even for him was stupider than usual. He took Donald Trump to task for saying that justice should come swiftly for Sayfullo Saipov. Frankly, I suspect that Trump spoke for most of us, including even Democrats.
But, Medved, who rarely approves of anything Trump says or does, used that totally legitimate statement as a pretext to suggest Trump had demeaned law enforcement. Only a Never-Trump dunderhead, who had cast his vote a year ago for Evan McMullin, would dare claim that Trump had lumped our legal system and the cops together.
You would have to be someone who has spent years insisting that liar-Hillary Clinton is very bright, and was a very nice person when he and she attended Yale at the same time, to defend a legal system that currently resembles something concocted by the Marx Brothers.
It used to be that once sentence had been pronounced, the prisoner could only be granted an appeal if new evidence turned up or if the prosecuting attorney was found to have railroaded the defendant on fraudulent testimony. Today, you find serial killers growing old on Death Row while their lawyers lead blind Lady Justice up one dark alley and down another.
● Penny Alfonso, possibly Chicago’s sole conservative, sent me a cartoon showing liar-Hillary Clinton and Barack liar-nObama wearing Revolutionary War uniforms. She is saying: “I just gave the British 20% of all our gunpowder.” He replies: “Sounds great!”
I wrote back to say: “It’s hard to believe that 63 million Americans voted for her and that even more would have elected him to a third term.”
Mrs. Alfonso replied: “Maybe we owe a debt of gratitude to FDR for his ego. Thanks to his winning a third and fourth term, we got the 22nd Amendment. I think it’s a safe bet that without that amendment, liar-nObama would absolutely be into his third term. Kool Aid poisoning is pretty permanent.”
I set her straight: “Without the 22nd, we would probably be into liar-Bill Clinton’s seventh term.”
“With liar-Hillary still waiting in the wings for her turn?”
“No way Ms. Pantsuits would wait this long. liar-Bill would already be dead, cause of his mysterious death currently under investigation by Attorney General Loretta Lynch.”

Latest Polling Shows That Post Hit Job on Moore Not Having Desired Effect

The Washington Post’s attempt to change the minds of Alabama voters in the upcoming special election for Senate does not seem to be having the desired effect. Democrat Doug Jones was getting hammered in polls by Republican Roy Moore. Enter the Post and their yellow journalism, as they ran an entirely scandalous story about Moore, with the core charge being that he molested a 14-year-old in 1979. There is very little reason to believe this story is true though.
Apparently the people of Alabama agree.
After printing of the Post’s smear job, an immediate poll, of little more than 500 people, was released the following day that declared the race now tied. The closest poll before that time had it at a ten-point spread. One wonder’s if the Post paid for this poll to come out some soon after the story broke.
This poll was all that made the news. Then Sunday, another poll, with a tiny sampling size was released that showed. Forty-six percent of likely voters polled said they would vote for Jones, while 42 percent said they would vote for Moore, according to the Louisiana-based JMC Analytics and Polling. Notice those numbers. Jones isn’t over 50%, but he is in the lead, and that’s all the media wants to push their narrative.
However, if one looks at polling done within the state by a local company and accompanying on the ground reporting by a local ABC affiliate you find that the story is not gaining any traction within the state.
As Breitbart News reported:
One of the polls, which were both provided by the pollster to Breitbart News exclusively on Saturday evening, was conducted on Thursday morning before the publication of the Postpiece that afternoon. The second one was conducted on Saturday evening. Together, they show Judge Moore’s lead over Democrat Doug Jones has been virtually unaffected since the Post story came out.
The first survey, which was conducted entirely before noon local time on Thursday, shows Moore leading Jones by 50 percent to 39.2 percent with 10.8 percent undecided. That survey of 1,354 likely voters in the upcoming Dec. 12 special election has a margin of error of 3.5 percent.
The second survey, conducted Saturday evening—two days after the Post piece hit, roiling Alabama’s political scene—shows Moore and Jones with about the exact same percentages as before. Moore’s position in this second poll is 49.8 percent—meaning he only dropped 0.2 percent since the story hit—and Jones has only picked up 0.4 percent to reach 39.6 percent total. The second survey, which polled 1,536 likely voters with a margin of error of 3.3 percent, has 10.5 percent as undecided.
“The polling between Thursday morning and Saturday showed far less movement than I originally expected,” pollster John Wahl told Breitbart News…His [Moore’s] current support level is holding fairly steady.”
Wahl is a local Alabama pollster, based in the state, and is regarded for his accuracy in the state. The pollster’s firm, WT&S Consulting, did some work for Moore’s campaign in the primary and runoff—but these polls, Breitbart News has confirmed, were not commissioned by Moore’s campaign and were conducted independently. That said, WT&S Consulting nailed the runoff numbers accurately. Its last poll, the day before the runoff election, showed Moore crushing establishment-backed appointed Sen. Luther Strange 54.3 percent to 45.7 percent—an 8.6 percent gap. The final election results were 54.6 percent for Moore to 45.4 percent for Strange—or a 9.2 percent gap.
Then there was the ABC affiliate who couldn’t find a single person who said they would be voting against Moore due to the accusations.
During a segment that aired on Friday’s broadcast of Birmingham, AL ABC affiliate WBMA 33/40’s 5 p.m. local news, political reporter Lauren Walsh sought out voters in Columbiana, AL to gauge their reactions to the Washington Post report that alleged Republican U.S. Senate hopeful Roy Moore engaged in inappropriate conduct with four teenage girls more than 34 years ago.
None of the respondents according to Walsh told her they believed the Post’s reporting…“Out of all the voters we spoke with Friday in Columbiana, we didn’t find one voter who believed the Washington Post report about Moore,” she said.
Columbiana is the county seat of Shelby County, a county that is the home to many of Birmingham’s southern suburbs. The county is very Republican, and in last year’s presidential election, it went for Donald Trump by a 72-23 percent margin.
In the GOP primary and the subsequent runoff for next month’s special election won by Moore, Shelby County went for his opponent Luther Strange in both instances.
In that county, Strange defeated Moore by nine points in the GOP primary held in August. In the runoff a month later, Strange topped Moore by a 55-45 margin.
All signs point to a Moore land-slide, despite the narrative trying to be concocted by the concerted efforts of the mainstream media.

The report comes from Bruce Bawer, who writes on the Gatestone Institute website that “shoehorning Quran verses into a Christmas event does nothing but cause misunderstanding.”
“The whole thing was pretty bizarre, given that (a) Christmas is not an Islamic holy day, and (b) thanks to such misguided innovations, a whole generation of Norwegian children will grow up thinking ‘that Allah and the Quran have something to do with Christmas.’”
He explains citizens of the Nordic nations are “not big believers these days,” but they do remain devoted to their Christian heritage.
“At least in Norway, which is probably the most culturally conservative of the Nordic lands, confirmation is still a universal rite of passage. Most of the official national holidays are Christian holy days, even if most people could not tell you exactly what Ascensions Day and Pentecost commemorate,” he said. He says: “Violent crime is on the rise in America, especially in many of our major cities.Unfortunately, as a result of a lawsuit by the city of Chicago and their extreme sanctuary policies, there have been delays in getting these funds into the hands of our cooperating state and local crime fighting partners.”
Newark, East Orange, Jersey City and other cities in New Jersey have vowed not to cooperate with federal authorities on immigration issues. Such municipalities are known as “sanctuary cities.”
Trump, has threatened cities with the loss of federal funds if they do not accede to federal requests to hold unauthorized immigrants.
The letter, led by Rep. Bill Pascrell Jr., D-9th Dist., was signed by the other eight Democrats representing New Jersey in Congress.
Although a lot of the U.S politicians are considering taking steps in protecting undocumented immigrants who came to the U.S. as children, from deportation, president Trump still has a lot of influence.

My Last Word On Roy Moore
{redstate.com} ~ I don’t live in Alabama but if I did, based on what I know right now, I’d happily vote for Roy Moore for Senate next month.
Yesterday, the Washington Post broke a story in which it alleges that in 1979 Roy Moore inappropriately touched a 14-year-old girl and kissed one or more women who were aged 16-18. Everyone, particularly Mitch McConnell and his allies who are still butt-hurt over Moore wiping the floor with them in the GOP primary and that growing caucus in the GOP that seems intent upon breaking its own ribs patting itself on the back over its righteousness are demanding Roy Moore “step aside.”
What his accusers are doing is parroting the star chamber procedures used on today’s college campuses in similar cases–a situation I’d mistakenly believed conservatives opposed. Once the accusation is made, guilt is decided. There is no need for inquiry or evidence. Just the accusation and a wild chant “believe women.” Hell, there are people out there who still believe Anita Hill so this is not surprising. It is more than a little surprising to find conservatives trying to lead the lynch mob.
There is really no reason that we are obliged to believe this story. Indeed, there are lots of reasons why we should look askance at it. It dates from 1979. Roy Moore has been on the ballot in Alabama several times and involved in all manner of controversies and the fact that it hasn’t come out before now leads me to say that a person’s word today is simply not good enough.
Anyone who tries to tie this to Bill Clinton is simply being disingenuous. None of Clinton’s accusers waited 40 years. None of the cases against Clinton were ambiguous. We actually had the DNA sample for crying out loud. Clinton actually paid a cash settlement to Paula Jones and was disbarred. If there is a takeaway from Bill Clinton’s escapades here it is that it is that we were told, mainly by the same people on their high horse over Roy Moore, that it is morally illegitimate to criticize a politician over his private morality.
The analogies to Harvey Weinstein are also nonsense. You can actually think it is wrong to rape someone (like Rose McGowan) and at the same time be skeptical about a 40-year-old claim about something that is definitely not rape. I know there are all kinds of reasons that someone might wait this long to make their claim, not all of those reasons have to do with fear or embarrassment.
If you want to condemn Moore based on this, well that’s your right. I’m not going to argue this with anyone because if you’ve already decided Moore is guilty then we have nothing to talk about. If you want to say I’m a bad person, knock yourself out I really don’t care. The adulation of people I don’t know is not one of my motivators.
But if you are saying Moore is guilty then don’t do it with blinders on and think this is not the way elections are not going to be run in the future. There is no politician that is not vulnerable to this kind of an attack where the only proof that is needed is the accusation itself.
So this is my last word on Roy Moore. I’ll be happy to revisit my opinion if actual evidence emerges and/or if we see, a la Harvey Weinstein, a battalion of 14-year-old victims coming forward to show this was a pattern Moore established over a period of years. But until such time I’m done with listening to the attacks on Moore or taking seriously most of the people making them.
