Philadelphia: Teen convert to Islam pleads guilty to Islamic State plot to murder Pope

( Muslims do not assimilate, they infiltrate! )

Pope Francis is doubtless on his way to Philadelphia now to explain to young Ahmad Shakoor that “authentic Islam and the proper reading of the Koran are opposed to every form of violence.”

“Leave them; they are blind guides. And if a blind man leads a blind man, both will fall into a pit.” (Matthew 15:14)

“US teen pleads guilty to IS-inspired plot to kill pope,” AFP, April 3, 2017:

Washington (AFP) – A New Jersey teen pleaded guilty Monday to a plot allegedly inspired by the Islamic State group to kill Pope Francis during his 2015 visit to the United States.

The US Justice Department said Santos Colon, 15 years old at the time, sought to recruit a sniper to shoot the pope as he celebrated mass in Philadelphia on September 27, 2015. Colon also allegedly planned to set off explosives.

But the teen unwittingly recruited an undercover FBI agent for the job, and was arrested quietly 12 days before the event.

“Colon engaged someone he believed would be the sniper, but in reality was an undercover FBI employee. Colon engaged in target reconnaissance with an FBI confidential source and instructed the source to purchase materials to make explosive devices,” the Justice Department said in a statement.

Court documents said Colon sought to carry out the act in support of the Islamic State group and that he had used the adopted name Ahmad Shakoor.

In a plea bargain with prosecutors, Colon, now 17, agreed to forego trial and plead guilty as an adult to one charge of providing material support to a terror group.

With the deal, prosecutors dropped three other charges filed against him as a juvenile.

Court documents said the charges were in relation to the Islamic State group, which Washington has designated a foreign terrorist organization….

Colon faces a maximum of 15 years in prison but sentencing would likely be held off until 2021 while he undergoes psychiatric treatment in a secure facility.

In a plea statement, Colon acknowledged having been a patient in a mental institution in the past.

Virginia: Three Iraqi Refugees Arrested, Lied About Brother Who Kidnapped U.S. Citizen

( Muslims do not assimilate, they infiltrate! )

Three Iraqi refugees were arrested Tuesday morning and charged with immigration fraud while living in Virginia after proving false information on their application to become U.S. citizens, the Department of Justice (DOJ) reports.

According to the DOJ, Yousif Al Mashhandani (“Yousif”), 35, lived in Vienna, while his brother, Adil Hasan, 38, and his wife Enas Ibrahim, 32, lived in Burke as lawful permanent residents. All three had applied to become U.S. citizens but failed to report that Yousif and Hasan were biological brothers to a Majid Al Mashhadani (“Majid”) who was detained for kidnapping a U.S. citizen identified as R.H. in Iraq and holding him hostage in horrible conditions in an underground bunker in 2004 .

The fraud was discovered after Yousif’s fingerprints were taken during the process of his application and a connection was made to the 2004 kidnapping conducted by his brother Majid.

“According to an FBI fingerprint specialist, analysis conducted in November 2013 determined that Yousif’s fingerprints match those found on a document at the underground bunker where forces rescued R.H. and others in Iraq in 2005,” the DOJ stated in a press release.

The DOJ states that when confronted with the fraud during a 2016 interview, Yousif admitted he failed to report his relation to Majid on his family tree form because as a refugee he was told that “he would not be allowed into the U.S. if any immediate family members had a criminal background.”

Hasan and Ibrahim also admitted they discussed eliminating their relation to Majid “on their applications for refugee status because their connection to Majid might delay their ability to gain such status,” according to the DOJ.

Furthermore, the DOJ reports that Hasan also admitted to providing false information about being kidnapped and tortured by a militant group in 2006.

“According to the affidavit in support of the criminal complaint, to justify his application for refugee status, Yousif reported that in 2006, while working as an anti-corruption investigator for the Iraqi Commission on Public Integrity in Iraq, he started receiving threats from a Shiite militia known as the ‘Al Mahdi Militia,’ in order to coerce Yousif to drop a particular corruption investigation. Yousif said that in May 2006, Hasan was kidnapped by the Al Mahdi Militia, and was released only after Yousif arranged to drop the investigation in question and helped pay a large ransom. Yousif said that after Hasan was released, he reopened the corruption investigation, only to flee to Jordon in October 2006 after his parents’ house was burned down.

According to the affidavit in support of the criminal complaint, to justify his application for refugee status, Hasan provided sworn testimony that, in 2006, he had been kidnapped and tortured by members of the Al Mahdi Army and held for nearly a month. Hasan said he was released upon the payment of a ransom of $20,000. In an interview by FBI agents in April 2016, Hasan said he was threatened in Iraq on two occasions, but made no mention of being kidnapped, held hostage and tortured for nearly a month. In a subsequent interview in October 2016, FBI agents confronted Hasan about the discrepancy in his stories and Hasan admitted to making false statements and creating his persecution story,” the DOJ stated in the press release.

The refugees each face a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison if convicted.

NOTEWhen writing about God and Jesus, The Daily Jot means YHVH as God and Yeshua Ha Mashiach as Jesus--the actual original names and the true nature and character of them.

No matter what is going on behind the scenes, the illegal, unethical, immoral dealings of politics, the ex "president" and his minions have been air-tight for years in never giving up the scam. They never admitted to exactly what they were doing, and as part of that, blamed their actions on their detractors. Such is the case with spying on then President-elect Donald Trump and spreading misinformation among intelligence agencies to make it look like Trump conspired with Russia to win the election. When caught, the ex "president" and his henchmen denied everything and continued to insinuate that it was Trump all along doing the dirty deeds. Richard Nixon's presidency ended over spying on Democrats.

In response to accusations of spying on Trump, the former "president's" spokesman Kevin Lewis said, "A cardinal rule of the [sic] Administration was that no White House official ever interfered with any independent investigation led by the Department of Justice. As part of that practice, neither the [sic] "president" nor any White House official ever ordered surveillance on any US citizen. Any suggestion otherwise is simply false." Now, Fox News is reporting that it was former National Security Advisor Susan Rice-a direct report of the ex "president"-who "unmasked" those on the Trump transition team that the White House was spying on and spread their names among the various intelligence agencies.

Rice seems to have been working with former Deputy Secretary of Defense Evelyn Farkas, who purposely spread the misinformation among the spy agencies. She admitted last month, " I was urging my former colleagues and, frankly speaking, the people on the Hill - it was more actually aimed at telling the Hill people, get as much information as you can, get as much intelligence as you can, before [sic] the "president" leaves the administration." She was afraid that the narrative that Russia and Trump collaborated to influence the election would be lost if the information wasn't spread far and wide. An interesting twist to the story is that Republicans knew about the spying on Trump even before the election.

Rice appears to be the "go-to" girl when the ex "president" needs some dirty work done. Remember Rice and Benghazi? In May 2013, ABC News obtained 12 different versions of the talking points with extensive edits by the CIA before then UN Ambassador UN Susan Rice appeared on five talk shows the Sunday after that attack saying the attacks were inspired by a movie critical of Islam. Rice was also the one who in June 2014 called deserter Bowe Bergadahl not "simply a hostage; he was an American prisoner of war captured on the battlefield." Psalm 37:12 says, "The wicked plots against the just, and gnashes upon him with his teeth." Rice, the ex "president" and his cronies have been in the "plotting" and "blame-shifting" business a long time. They are good at it. Many of Nixon's minions went to prison for far less.
Have a Blessed and Powerful Day!

The Greatest Engine for Good: The Local Church

This is one of those times of year where people who don’t usually attend church may find themselves attending services. Maybe it’s part of a family visit. Maybe it’s tradition. Maybe it’s an itch in need of scratching. Or maybe it’s a desire. Whatever the cause, it could be fuel for civic renewal.

While the country seems obsessed with what’s happening in Washington, D.C. — with emotions and reactions ranging from encouragement, concern, dread, outrage and just about every other feeling in between — we’re missing something that should be more fundamental to the everyday life of our country.

California businessman William E. Simon Jr. aims to remedy that with a group he’s founded, Parish Catalyst, and a book he’s written, Great Catholic Parishes: How Four Essential Practices Make Them Thrive. Having surveyed 244 parishes, he’s in the business now of sharing what works.

This was one of the most important things I’ve ever done,” Simon tells me. “It was (megachurch pastor) Rick Warren who pointed this out to me, and he’s right: The local church is the greatest engine for good in history. It’s got the biggest distribution system. It’s got the longest track record. It’s got the most committed people. It’s better than any government and bureaucracy, any agency. And it’s been around for 2,000 years, and there’s no sign that it’s not going to be around for another 2,000 years. You can’t say that about any other entity.”

Focusing on the Catholic piece of the engine, Simon points out that there are roughly 80 million Catholics in the United States, about 80 percent of them affiliated with a parish. “About 64 million Catholics are affiliated somehow or another with a parish. So, if only 10 percent of them are paying attention, that’s 6.4 million. If you could double that number, that’d be another 6.4 million. That’s a h*** of an opportunity.” (Read more from “The Greatest Engine for Good: The Local Church” HERE) http://joemiller.us/2017/04/greatest-engine-good-local-church/

Texas Tea Party Groups Send a Clear Message to President Trump: ‘The Freedom Caucus Is Not the Problem’

The Texas Tea Party will not be silent.

Last week, Republicans scrambled to form a circular firing squad in the wake of the American Health Care Acts’ failure to launch. Conservatives’ opposition to the legislation drew the ire of President Trump and members of the Republican Establishment, who (unfairly) attacked the Freedom Caucus for killing the bill.

But in a letter made available to Conservative Review, Lone Star state Tea Party organizations make clear that the Republican Party base in the highly consequential state of Texas stands with the Freedom Caucus in opposition to RINOcare. The letter was signed by over 90 conservative grassroots leaders and state GOP officials, and will be sent to President Trump Monday.

“To our dismay, the ‘repeal and replace’ plan put forward by U.S. House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wisc.) did nothing to address the core regulatory infrastructure of Obamacare, which means that American families would still see health care costs continue to rise until at least 2026,” the letter reads. “This is unacceptable.”

Public support for the American Health Care Act placed around 17 percent, per Quinnipiac polls. The Freedom Caucus members argue their push for more conservative amendments saved the Republican Party from political disaster. According to the leader of the organization that put the letter together, those members are exactly right.

“The Freedom Caucus is doing exactly what their supporters and their constituents sent them to Washington to do,” JoAnn Fleming told Conservative Review. “The Ryancare bill did not do what the Republicans promised they would do.”

Fleming is the Executive Director of Grassroots America – We the People, a political action committee that is “the largest constitutional conservative citizen organization in East Texas and one of the largest in Texas.” A volunteer conservative activist in Texas for over 25 years, Fleming also serves as the three-term chairman of the Texas Legislature’s TEA Party Caucus Advisory Committee, Chairman of Lt. Governor Dan Patrick’s Grassroots Advisory Board, and an adviser to the newly formed Freedom Caucus of the Texas state legislature.

“Frankly, the people that I work with in Texas, all these grassroots leaders on this letter – they worked their tails off to send Republicans to Washington and to offices at every level of government — to stand strong behind conservative, limited government, constitutional conservative principles,” Fleming said.

In the eyes of these activists, Fleming explained, the GOP plan was a betrayal.

If you go back and look at the 60 times there was a bill that fully repealed Obamacare, why now is that not the right kind of bill? What this does is it just peels back the façade. What this says to grassroots conservatives in Texas is, “You really didn’t mean it to begin with. You knew President Obama would veto any repeal that you sent to him, and so it was all political theater.”

Opposition to RINOcare was exactly what voters wanted from their elected representatives. The letter takes pains to drive that point home to the president.

With a bad “take it or leave it” bill on the table, the Freedom Caucus rightly believed they had a responsibility to protect both the GOP and the Trump Administration from the political fallout that would surely come in 2018 and 2020 when angry voters realized their healthcare costs did not go down and health care access did not improve. The Freedom Caucus had the promises they made back home and the long-term good of the American people on their minds and in their hearts when they opposed the AHCA.

President Trump’s pledge to “fight” the Freedom Caucus is baffling for these Tea Party activists.

Trump had long positioned himself as an ally of the Tea Party. And so, according to JoAnn Fleming, this letter intends to make clear exactly where one of the Republican Party’s most organized and enthusiastic voter base stands.

The point of this is we’re trying to say, “We don’t agree with you, Mr. President, on the approach you’re taking toward the Freedom Caucus and toward the promises we intend to hold the GOP to. They made a promise that they were going to repeal Obamacare, and that means take out all of the big government structure that was there, the mandates, and to get us back to a patient-centered, free-market based approach to health care. This bill did not do any of that and what we believe is that it would have driven up costs, premiums.”

The Tea Party groups of Texas urge Trump to work with the HFC to actually “drain the swamp.”

“We believe that he’s not going to be able to drain any Washington, D.C., swamp without the support and help of conservatives,” Fleming told CR. “That’s just a given.”

All signs point toward another attempt at Obamacare repeal happening sooner rather than later. Over the weekend, President Trump tweeted an attack on the “Fake News media” for suggesting that attempts at repeal were “dead.”

Some liberal Republicans have signaled they’d rather work with Democrats than join with the Freedom Caucus to come up with a conservative plan. The Texan Tea Party is not willing to follow President Trump down that path.

“Unfortunately, the president will be on the opposite side of many conservative grassroots leaders on the ground, in the trenches every single day,” should he continue to oppose the Freedom Caucus, Fleming said.

“This is what we do. We try to advance liberty through conservative principles. It’s not about the person. It’s not about a political icon. It is about principle for us.”

The dedicated hard work of the Tea Party base here in Texas, as well as all across the nation, has bestowed Republicans with historic majorities in Congress and placed the presidency in their hands. If the GOP believes Tea Party activists will go away or blindly trust the Republicans in control, they are mistaken.

“I have given up the best part of my life to do this, and I’m not about to change. I don’t do this because I don’t have anything else that I could do. I gave up a career in business to do this, and I do it because it’s the right thing to do,” said Fleming.

“Anything that makes it harder for my grassroots colleagues to do what they do in their own communities just kind of sets my teeth on edge,” Fleming said. “That’s where this letter came from.” (For more from the author of “Texas Tea Party Groups Send a Clear Message to President Trump: ‘The Freedom Caucus Is Not the Problem'” please click HERE) http://joemiller.us/2017/04/texas-tea-party-groups-send-clear-message-president-trump-freedom

Politically Incorrect Professor Gets Denied Grant Funding

A professor who opposes political correctness and refuses to use gender-neutral pronouns was denied research grant funding.

Professor Jordan Peterson of the University of Toronto, who has recently sparked controversy for opposing social justice initiatives, was denied research grant funding, according to his Twitter account.

“This was the money that would have funded my research into the personality predictors of political correctness (and liberalism/conservatism),” noted Peterson in a subsequent Friday tweet.

The professor also tweeted that the reviewers for Social Science and Humanities Research Council grants are anonymous and that he had predicted he would be denied grant money in the fall of 2016.

The IRS Expects to Write-Off $129 Billion. Here Are Two Better Ideas

The Government Accountability Office’s recent audit report of the IRS showed that the IRS collected an extra $54.3 billion through enforcement efforts. That is a great return on investment. However, a troubling fact was buried in Note 5 on the 110th page of the report: The IRS is owed $178 billion in back taxes, interest, and penalties, but expects to collect only $49 billion.

To put it in plain English: The IRS expects to write off as uncollectible $129 billion of its receivables. So, what is Congress’ answer to this challenge? They voted to place outstanding tax accounts with private debt collectors and let them keep a percentage of what they collect. This venture will fail just like a similar project 10 years ago. Let me explain.

Inevitable Crash and Burn

In 2004, Congress authorized a pilot program to assign delinquent tax accounts to private debt collectors. The IRS assigned about $1.87 billion in delinquent accounts to private debt collectors on a commission basis. According to a report by the IRS Taxpayer Advocate (an office that reports directly to Congress and not the IRS Commissioner), the private collectors managed to collect $86 million before the accounts were returned to the IRS. The IRS then collected a further $139 million. That means that the IRS collected $53 million more than the private debt collectors.

Congress now wants a do over. Alas, this program will crash and burn also for several reasons. First, Congress has placed several counterproductive restrictions on the private firms. For instance, the delinquent taxpayer can tell the private debt collector to send their accounts back to the IRS. I don’t think the private debt collectors will collect much money if the delinquent taxpayers can tell them to buzz off. Second, the private debt collector has no authority to settle the tax debt for a lower amount. So, the delinquent taxpayer will have little reason to bargain.

What’s wrong with this picture?

We Need to Stop Adding Debt

I would like to propose two better options:

1. President Trump could scrap his proposed $238 million cut in IRS funding in favor of a $2 billion increase. This increase would level the IRS budget at roughly the 2010 funding level (adjusted for inflation), and reverse over a half decade of budget cuts to the agency. The IRS would then be responsible for closing the $406 billion Net Tax Gap. That’s the amount of taxes the IRS fails to collect, due mostly to a lack of resources.

2. Auction the $178 billion in tax, interest, and penalties to the highest bidder. If the IRS can get more than $49 billion on the open market, then the federal government comes out ahead. Maybe the IRS can sell the debt on EBay. Or maybe they can entice U.S. multi-national corporations who have $1 trillion in cash overseas to repatriate the money (tax free of course) if they use the repatriated funds to buy the tax debts. The tax debts would be sold (in accounting parlance) “without recourse,” which means that all sales are final. The new owners of the debt would then be free to pursue collection actions against the delinquent taxpayer. They would earn a profit if they can collect more from the delinquent taxpayer than they paid to the IRS. This option, however, would require a major revision to IRS Disclosure Laws.

The federal government is $20 trillion in debt. It adds hundreds of billions more every single year. This can’t go on forever. We need an IRS that can enforce the Internal Revenue Code (IRC) to ensure that the government can pay more of its bills. It’s time for our congressional leaders to put partisanship aside and get to work. (For more from the author of “The IRS Expects to Write-Off $129 Billion. Here Are Two Better Ideas” please click HERE) http://joemiller.us/2017/04/irs-expects-write-off-129-billion-two-better-ideas/

Coffee Shop’s Reward Card Makes It Look Like Trump, Conservatives Shot in Head

A Pittsburgh coffee shop is offering incentives for its customers with a satirical punch card with images of President Donald Trump and conservative leaders.

The front of the rewards card is relatively benign, with 10 of the Black Forge Coffee House logos to punch, reports Fox News. But the back features 10 people management does not care for: Trump, Vice President Mike Pence, Republican Sen. Ted Cruz, former Republican Sen. Rick Santorum, former Republican Gov. Mike Huckabee, infamous hedge fund founder Martin Shkreli, media mogul Pat Robertson, and three political pundits: Ann Coulter, Bill O’Reilly, and Rush Limbaugh.

When staff perforate the card to keep track of the perk, a hole appears on the picture of the figure. Some say the punctures in the card, which can eventually be redeemed for a free cup of coffee, make it look like the conservative icons are being shot in the head.

“We are definitely not advocating violence,” said Nick Miller, co-owner of the Black Forge Coffee House, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. “This is purely political satire statement and an expression of frustration with the system” . . .

“It’s definitely been a rough couple of days. It escalated quickly and not to the intent that we wanted,” Ashley Corts, co-owner of the heavy metal themed shop, said in reference to the amount of adverse reactions they have received. According to Corts, several people called and made threatening statements, such as the suggestion that “someone should put bullets in our heads.”

Is North Carolina About to Flush the Bathroom Law?

Yeah, people are still trying to figure it out.
By Allyne Caan: The NCAA Final Four playoffs may be more than a week away, but the final shot for North Carolina — the state, not the team — may come much sooner.
The state's legislators reportedly struck a deal Wednesday to repeal the year-old "bathroom bill" (HB2), which codifies the obvious — that biological men should use men's restrooms and women, women's. That law was in response to a Charlotte ordinance mandating that businesses allow transgender individuals to use the restroom of their choice instead of their sex.
On Tuesday, the NCAA issued the state an ultimatum: repeal or gut the law within 48 hours or be disqualified from hosting any NCAA events through the spring of 2022. NCAA site selections for 2018-22 will begin next week, and North Carolina venues have reportedly submitted more than 130 bids that could bring the state more than $250 million.
It would appear legislators caved, though "LGBT" activists aren't happy because the compromise doesn't go far enough for them.
Of course, if the Associated Press is the arbiter of all truth, the price of HB2 has already soared. This week, the AP tagged the bill's cost to the state at $3.76 billion over 12 years. The AP's analysis concluded: "Over the past year, North Carolina has suffered financial hits ranging from scuttled plans for a PayPal facility that would have added an estimated $2.66 billion to the state's economy to a canceled Ringo Starr concert that deprived a town's amphitheater of about $33,000 in revenue. The blows have landed in the state's biggest cities as well as towns surrounding its flagship university, and from the mountains to the coast."
Did you catch that? PayPal's lefty-activist move accounts for nearly three-quarters of the economic impact.
Additionally, the AP pointed to companies such as Deutsche Bank, which stopped plans in North Carolina due to the law; CoStar, which located a new research center in Virginia instead of North Carolina due to "negative publicity over the law"; and Adidas, which opted not to put a factory in the Tar Heel State because of the law.
First, the AP's estimate is likely vastly overstated. Second, conveniently missing from the AP analysis is a look at North Carolina's thriving economy despite HB2. As the Washington Times reports, "Economic indicators released for 2016 show that the boycott has failed to derail North Carolina as a regional and national powerhouse."
Indeed, in 2016, the state ranked fourth nationally for attracting and expanding businesses, topped the region in attracting corporate facilities, and earned Forbes No. 2 slot for business climate. What's more, between 2015 and 2016, North Carolina's average unemployment rate fell from 5.8% to 5.1%.
Additionally, VisitNC, part of the Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina, announced a record-breaking year for hotel lodging. Hotel and motel occupancy in 2016 rose by 3.4% over 2015, and the average room rate increased by 3.6%. In fact, according to VisitNC, "each month of 2016 experienced the highest occupancy on record." This hardly bears out the predictions of doom and gloom.
As North Carolina Lt. Gov. Dan Forest recently said when addressing the current impact of HB2 (not a possible future impact which may or may not happen), "If you look at the most extreme instances of economic impact, by the media and by the universities and the people who come out and say 'This is the impact,' that most extreme impact equates to one-tenth of 1% of our annual GDP."
Ranking this claim as "true," Politifact noted, "While $500 million in economic losses (not to mention at least 1,400 jobs lost) is not insignificant, the state's overall economy is large enough that the losses are only about 0.1 percent of the total GDP."
Given North Carolina's highly attractive business climate, it's very possible any future "losses" will also be significantly offset by continued growth.
In reality, the issue really was never about luring or losing businesses. It was about one thing the Left usually loves: safe spaces. As Lt. Gov. Forest stated, "Don't be fooled by the media; this issue is not about the economy. This issue is about privacy, safety and security in the most vulnerable places we go. This is about doing the right thing. And I will never trade the privacy, safety and security of a woman or a child for a basketball ticket, and neither should you."
It would appear newly elected Democrat Gov. Roy Cooper and a number of Republican legislators don't quite agree. Whether they beat the NCAA's
buzzer is another question.  ~The Patriot Post

{freebeacon.com} ~ Three liberal donor networks and foundations with ties to billionaire George Soros have joined forces to form a new fund to "resist" President Donald Trump... The Emergent Fund, which carries a goal of fighting "immediate threats" to "immigrants, women, Muslim and Arab-American communities, black people, LGBTQ communities, and all people of color," was established late last year to quickly fund groups to take direct, immediate action against Republicans. Since the fund's formation, it has received little public attention. It has raised over half a million dollars to give to groups opposing Republicans, such as the Black Lives Matter Network. The fund has extensive ties to significant liberal networks and groups...  http://freebeacon.com/issues/soros-tied-networks-foundations-joined-forces-create-trump-resistance-fund/?utm_source=Freedom+Mail&utm_campaign=3725f4c138-EMAIL_CAMPAIGN_2017_03_31&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_b5e6e0e9ea-3725f4c138-45611665

As devout Muslims work their way into the nooks and crannies of the planet, many ready to radicalize at any moment, there have been a wide variety of reactions from world leadership. Former President Barack liar-nObama’s genius plan was to basically ignore the problem until it went away. Spoiler alert:  It didn’t. The current leadership in Germany and France have both allowed migrants nearly unfettered access to their nations in the wake of Syria’s massive crisis, allowing many crafty evil doers to slip across the border as well. President Donald Trump, after only 10 weeks in office, has twice attempted a temporary travel ban from terror-rich nations in order to bolster national security…although twice he’s been stymied by liberal, meddling judges. Now, China is experiencing their own crisis of faith. Growing rightfully concerned about the influx of possible radical Islamists, the massive Asian nation is taking action...

{washingtonexaminer.com} ~ Sen. Charles Grassley, chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, has sent a letter to FBI Director James Comey demanding the story behind the FBI's reported plan to pay the author of a lurid and unsubstantiated dossier on candidate Donald Trump... In particular, Grassley appears to be zeroing in on the FBI's deputy director, Andrew McCabe, indicating Senate investigators want to learn more about McCabe's role in a key aspect of the Trump-Russia affair. Grassley began his investigation after the Washington Post reported on February 28 that the FBI, "a few weeks before the election," agreed to pay former British spy Christopher Steele to investigate Trump. Prior to that, supporters of the liar-Hillary Clinton presidential campaign had paid Steele to gather intelligence on liar-Clinton's Republican rival...  http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/senate-committee-targets-fbi-no.-2-in-trump-dossier-probe/article/2619120?utm_campaign=Washington%20Examiner:%20News%20From&utm_source=Washington%20Examiner:%20News%20From%20-%2004/01/17&utm_medium=email

{investigativeproject.org} ~ There's a simple way to end global oppression, racism and immediately create a world overflowing with "equality, dignity and human rights,"... panelists agreed Saturday morning during a Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP) Conference in Chicago. Simply eliminate Zionism from the planet. "Arguing for a softer, less harsh, nicer version of capitalism, colonialism and racism won't do it," said Black Lives Matter leader Rachel Gilmer. "Many liberal Zionists believe that the problem with Israeli apartheid is simply a few bad policies, or Netanyahu, or the wall, but the problem is with the ideological foundation of the state itself: Zionism. Zionism at its core is white supremacy." While JVP claims its mission is to "end to the Israeli occupation of the West Bank, Gaza Strip, and East Jerusalem; security and self-determination for Israelis and Palestinians," the conference so far has failed to mention any plan that keeps Israel intact...

{jewishworldreview.com} ~ Faced with multiple crises and wary of President Donald Trump's approach toward the Middle East, leaders of a divided Arab world hope to forge common positions on the region's most pressing concerns when they meet today for their annual summit.

In particular, the Arab leaders are widely expected to reiterate support for a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, sending a strong message to the White House. Trump has indicated willingness to break from long-held U.S. support for a sovereign Palestinian state alongside Israel, a shift that could damage peace efforts.

The Arab leaders are also expected to stress their opposition to Trump's campaign promise to move the U.S. Embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. The holy city is claimed by both Israelis and Palestinians as their capital, and many fear that relocating the embassy there could trigger violence in Israel and across the Muslim world.

A draft statement, reportedly drawn up by the Palestinian delegation and approved by the foreign ministers of the Arab League, reads that the league's members "reaffirm their commitment to the two-state solution,"according to Agence France-Presse.

The memorandum calls "all countries to respect U.N. Security Council resolutions that reject Israel's annexation of occupied east Jerusalem" and "not to move their embassies" to Jerusalem.

The gathering comes at a time of frustration across the Arab world over the inability of its leaders, fractured by politics, geography and sect, to resolve the Middle East's bloody conflicts, its wobbly economies and high youth unemployment rates. Arab governments are divided over the way forward in Syria, Libya and Yemen.

"It is a very difficult reality that we are living in," Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi told journalists gathered in this tranquil resort area. "There are numerous challenges facing all of us. Challenges of terror, challenges of continuing occupation, crises in Syria, Libya and Yemen, and that has led to an erosion of trust that people have in the regional Arab order."

Still, it's unlikely there will be any serious push to end the region's deadliest conflict - the Syrian civil war. Arab leaders remain fractured over the future role of President Bashar Assad and which factions to support, and those divides have permitted Russia, Turkey and Iran to play a greater role in the conflict.

Saudi Arabia's King Salman and Egyptian President Abdel Fatah el-Sissi are attending the summit, presenting an opportunity for a rapprochement between their countries. Tensions have been high in recent months, largely over Syria. Riyadh backs the Syrian opposition, but Egypt is pushing for a political deal that could keep Assad in power. Saudi Arabia is also displeased that Egypt has not contributed troops to a Saudi-led coalition fighting in Yemen. In October, the Saudis cut off oil aid to Egypt, but the shipments resumed this month.

Amid the tumult, a key message the Arab leaders at the summit want to send is one of unity. And the Palestinian cause allows that possibility.

Several leaders at the summit, including Sissi, Jordan's King Abdullah and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, will travel next month to Washington to meet Trump. The Jordanian monarch, government officials said, plans to discuss with Trump the perils of religious extremism; terrorism; the fighting in Syria, Libya and Yemen; and, in particular, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

That conflict, for decades the core cause of the Arab world, has been neglected for the past few years amid the Arab Spring uprisings of 2011 and the wars that followed in Syria, Iraq, Libya and Yemen, The summit's host, Jordan is seeking to again reposition the Palestinians' plight as a central cause for all Arabs.

The Arab leaders are expected to reaffirm a Saudi-led peace plan, known as the Arab Peace Initiative, that was proposed 15 years ago. It calls for Israel to withdraw from lands seized in 1967 in exchange for full diplomatic and economic relations with moderate Arab and Muslim nations. That would allow the creation of a sovereign Palestinian state that included the West Bank, the Gaza Strip and East Jerusalem.

Ghassan Khatib, a professor of political science at Birzeit University in the West Bank town of Ramallah, said the summit is important to counter recent suggestions by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that reaching peace with the Palestinians must begin with a wider regional initiative.

"He believes that after having normal relations with the moderate Arab states, it will be easier to achieve peace with the Palestinians," Khatib said

If the Arab states, he added, restated their commitment to the Arab Peace Initiative, it would go against the impression Trump gave in a news conference last month with Netanyahu that he appeared to accept the Israeli leader's proposal for a regional peace process.

"If the resolution that comes out of the summit is support for the Saudi initiative, then it will contradict Netanyahu, and we hope it will play a role in shaping the final position of the United States on this issue," Khatib said.

The Arab leaders are being asked to support the Saudi plan in its current form, analysts said. Any negotiations could weaken their position, members of the Palestinian delegation fear.

Efraim Inbar, founding director of the Begin-Sadat Center for Strategic Studies at Bar Ilan University in Tel Aviv, said the issue is simple - if the Arab League is willing to negotiate over its plan, there is something to talk about.

"Until now, the Saudi plan was a take-it-or-leave-it plan, which Israel was not ready for," Inbar said.

"Netanyahu is willing to negotiate if the Saudis are ready to come to the table," he added.

Two other areas where the Arab leaders could show unity are Iran and terrorism. The predominantly Sunni Arab leaders, particularly Saudi Arabia, are wary of Tehran's Shiite theocracy. In Yemen, the Iranians are widely thought to be backing Shiite Houthi rebels, the enemies of a Saudi-led coalition waging a campaign on behalf of the beleaguered Yemeni government.

"Iran's intervention in Arab affairs will occupy a major part of discussions and will certainly be condemned, but Jordan will also seek to send a message to Tehran to opt for diplomacy and normalize relations with the Arab world," wrote Osama al-Sharif , a political commentator, in the regional daily Arab News.

Safadi, the Jordanian foreign minister, said there is a political will among the Arab leaders to follow through on their pronouncements to address the challenges of the region.

He added that they would work more effectively on combating terrorism, "which we consider a threat to us Arabs and Muslims first because it has killed more of us than it did any other race and nation."

"We'll move forward to create a new reality of hope, opportunity, and of peace and stability in the region," Safadi said.

 Democrats' Convenient Memory Loss

Democrats seem to be currently afflicted with what may be best described as a case of politically convenient amnesia. This sad condition has been most clearly evident through the confirmation process of Judge Neil Gorsuch to the Supreme Court, and symptoms include acute displays of remarkable levels of hypocrisy. Observe these past statements by leading Democrat leaders contrasted by these same Democrats' most recent statements. Beware, witnessing the total reversal of opinion on attempting to block a nominee's confirmation by these Democrats might temp one to scream out a slew of frustration-induced profanities.
Senate Minority Leader Chuck clown-Schumer in 2013: "We much prefer the risk of up or down votes and majority rule [on judicial nominees], than the risk of continued total obstruction. That's the bottom line no matter who's in power."
clown-Schumer now: "The irresistible, immutable logic is, if the nominee doesn't get 60 [votes], you change the nominee, not the rules."
Senator Tim de-Kaine in October 2016: "If [Republicans] think they're going to stonewall the filling of [the SCOTUS] vacancy or other vacancies, then a Democratic Senate majority will say, 'We're not going to let you thwart the law.' And so we will change the Senate rules to uphold the law."
de-Kaine now: "The way I look at it is the Supreme Court is the only position that requires you to get to a 60-vote threshold, which means it mandates that there be some bipartisanship and that is appropriate. Life tenure. Highest court in the land. Should have to get to 60 votes." And, "I will oppose his nomination."
Senator Elizabeth dinky-Warren in November 2013: "If Republicans continue to filibuster these highly qualified nominees for no reason than to nullify the president's constitutional authority, then senators not only have the right to change the filibuster, senators have a duty to change the filibuster rules." And she also said, "We need to call out these filibusters for what they are — naked attempts to nullify the results of the last presidential election."
dinky-Warren now: "I believe Judge Gorsuch's nomination should be blocked."
To be sure, the filibuster is a Senate rule subject to the desires of any Senate majority. Both parties use those rules to political advantage. What's striking is Democrat sanctimony.  ~The Patriot Post

{constitution.com} ~ It was only hearsay being questioned on conservative websites yesterday, but today Breitbart News says it has confirmed with several sources inside the White House... that the move to reassign deputy Chief of Staff Katie Walsh was directly related to White House concerns that she was leaking information to the press! On Thursday, pro-Trump website Conservative Treehouse wrote that the leak of Devin Nunes’ “whistleblowers” was actually an elaborate ploy to smoke out who in the White House was leaking information to the press. Just a short while after the New York Times broke the story, Katie Walsh announced that she would be moving on to help lead a pro-Trump organization outside of the administration. However, conservative rumor mongers argued that this was actually the White House ridding itself of a dangerous leak. White House Deputy Chief-of-Staff Katie Walsh was fired today immediately following a New York Times report which outed two National Security Council members as the source for Devin Nunes “tip” to review a specific batch of President liar-nObama’s executive intelligence...  http://constitution.com/team-trump-uncovers-mole-leaks-nunes-whistleblowers-leads-shakeup-white-house-staff/

Still says, “Nunes has even known the identity of the high-level intelligence agency person who unmasked multiple Trump campaign officials, including General Michael Flynn. This intel official then disseminated this highly classified material around the government in an attempt to torpedo Trump’s election initially, then later his presidency.” He plays a clip of Fox reporter Adam Housley stating, “The person who did the unmasking, I’m told, is very well known, very high up, very senior in the intelligence world and is not in the FBI. {truthrevolt.org} ~ While the spend-happy Left bemoans the cost of President Trump's proposed border wall, House Republicans are busy finding simple, practical ways to fund its construction... On Thursday a group of GOP congressmen introduced a major bill intended to fund the border wall. The bill proposes imposing a 2 percent fee on all monies immigrants send back to Mexico and other countries. The Washington Times reports that while estimates vary, remittances from immigrants in the U.S. to relatives in their countries of origin "could top $130 billion a year" and that a simple 2 percent tax "could net more than $2 billion a year if it applied to all money regardless of who’s sending it."...  http://www.truthrevolt.org/news/problem-solved-house-republicans-introduce-bill-fund-border-wall

by Laura Hollis
{jewishworldreview.com} ~ There are at least three things you need for a successful political movement: convictions, courage and effective communication. The Republicans in Congress behave as if they have none of the above.

Conservative voters have frequently bemoaned the lack of a Republican spine. But the GOP's hapless flailing was on display once again last week when the American Health Care Act got pulled before what would have been a disastrous vote.

Per usual, the Republicans had plenty of excuses and laid plenty of blame. But they're always moving the goal posts: First, they needed control of the House. Then they needed the Senate. Then they needed a Republican in the White House. Even with all three, they couldn't manage to draft a bill that could get a majority of the votes from their own party.

What the heck are they waiting for?

Oh, that's right — approval from the left. The Republicans in Congress are more afraid of what the left will say about them than they are of disappointing their own constituencies.

The GOP still doesn't seem to have figured out why Trump won — and why he isn't footing the blame for the failure of the AHCA. First, voters don't expect Trump to know the ins and outs of liar-nObamacare repeal; Republicans in Congress have had eight years for that.

Second, millions of Americans voted for Trump because he gives the figurative middle finger to the press and the rest of the American left. The GOP should have figured out by now that they're never going to have the press fawn all over them, until (a) they declare themselves to be pro-choice, (b) they criticize other conservatives, or (c) they're dead. And sometimes, not even then.

It's true that the press helps Democrats at every opportunity. The press tries mightily to reconcile their inconsistencies, downplay their faults and cover up their shortcomings. liar-Hillary Clinton, call your doctor. Alternatively, it mischaracterizes and vilifies conservative and Republican positions.

Yes, well, suck it up, buttercups — this is the way it's been for as long as most of us can remember, and this is the way it's probably always going to be.

It shouldn't matter. Trump's election proved that you can take your message straight to the American public, and win.

The AHCA deserved to fail, because it did not do what American voters sent Republicans to Congress in record numbers to do: repeal liar-nObamacare. They were not sent to Washington, D.C., to curry favor with the major networks or Hollywood. Nor were they sent to Congress to replace liar-nObamacare with a Republican version of a federal health care leviathan.

So, kudos to the Freedom Caucus and others who saw that bill for what it was — a cobbled-together mishmash that kept the Democrat's federal health care system in place, this time with GOP fingerprints all over it.

House Speaker Paul Ryan & Co. need to go back to the drawing board and give the American people meaningful legislative reform. Start with these points:

—Get rid of the individual mandate, as well as fines and penalties for failing to purchase insurance.

—Get rid of mandatory coverage, and allow insurance companies to offer the policies and coverage consumers want.

—Allow consumers to take their insurance with them when they leave employers.

—Allow insurance companies to sell insurance across state lines.

In other words, open up a truly free market in health insurance.

As if the AHCA debacle were not enough of a spanking, a Democratic filibuster on the confirmation of Neil Gorsuch to the Supreme Court looks more likely with each passing day.

Judge Gorsuch is one of the most qualified, temperamentally suitable candidates for the Supreme Court in decades. Most congressional Democrats know this — indeed, many liberals across the country know it — which is there has been visible support for Gorsuch among more mainstream liberals.

But former senate Majority Leader Harry dinky-Reid raised the stakes in 2013, when he persuaded the then-Democratic majority to change senate rules, requiring only 51 votes for lower federal court judicial nominations and other presidential appointees.

Despite the exemption for the Supreme Court, dinky-Reid was warned that this was a dangerous precedent New York senator Chuck clown-Schumer said as recently as January that he regretted it; a Republican-controlled senate could create the same rule change to SCOTUS nominees.

dinky-Reid did it anyway, and here we are. clown-Schumer's regret dissolved quickly; he is now leading the charge for what would be an unprecedented filibuster of Gorsuch, without cause or justification. No nominee to the Court has ever been filibustered; Justice Abe Fortas' elevation to Chief Justice was scuttled 49 years ago for alleged ethics violations.

That congressional Democrats can threaten a filibuster is proof that they do not care about competence, qualifications or even their own philosophical consistency. They will play political games with Gorsuch's nomination, as long as they think they can win.

It's time to play hardball. The left will cry foul. Let them. The GOP has been given the power. They'd better use it.

 liar-nObamaCare Repeal Failure Makes Tax
 Reform Harder
By Louis DeBroux: Less than a month after taking office, Barack liar-nObama signed the "stimulus" bill, an $800 billion pork-filled progressive goodie bag. Within a year he was bragging about the GM bailout and ironically named Affordable Care Act, better known by its pejorative moniker, "liar-nObamaCare."
With time those accomplishments became an albatross. The massive stimulus bill stimulated nothing but the pockets of well-connected Democrat donors. GM and Chrysler went bankrupt anyway.
More than anything else, it was the disaster of liar-nObamaCare that led Republicans to electoral victory, securing their strongest political position in nearly a century on promises of repealing liar-nObamaCare.
That is why the optics of what happened last week — the failure of the GOP's liar-nObamaCare repeal bill to even get a vote in the Republican-controlled House — was such a disaster. For nearly a decade the GOP promised the full repeal of liar-nObamaCare if voters restored them to power. In 2010 the voters gave them the House, in 2014 the Senate, and in 2016 the White House. And with what to show for it?
There are two significant concerns with what happened; the substance and the optics. As a matter of substance, what happened was in many ways as the Founders intended. They gave us co-equal branches, separation of powers, and checks and balances. The branches were intended to be in tension in order to negate usurpations of power. The House negotiated with the Senate, the Senate with the House, and both with the White House.
But in the end, rather than agreeing to a compromise bill, congressional Republicans dealt their new president an embarrassing public relations blow. For a man known as the master dealmaker, this was the worst possible outcome, and it's likely to have repercussions.
The brunt of the blame is being heaped upon the House Freedom Caucus, a group of the most conservative lawmakers. The Wall Street Journal dubbed the repeal failure the "Freedom Caucus's liar-nObamacare preservation act." This isn't entirely unfair. While caucus members expressed legitimate concerns as to whether the GOP's bill went far enough in fully repealing liar-nObamaCare, as a practical matter, blowing it up may damage their cause in the long run. President Donald Trump now says he will move on to tax reform.
Unlike liar-nObama, Trump does not have the luxury of filibuster-proof majorities in Congress to start his presidency. Republicans have a comfortable margin in the House but only a two-vote majority in the Senate, which is why it was critical for the GOP to hand Trump an early legislative victory to build momentum, both for Trump and for the party. As the WSJ also notes, "The risk now is that the health failure will make the GOP Congress even less cohesive and less likely to follow its leaders. Freedom Caucus Members sit in safe seats and don't need achievements to win re-election." And Democrats, emboldened in their efforts to obstruct the Trump/GOP agenda, will feel less pressure to compromise.
As Trump and the Republicans turn to tax reform, the same obstacles remain; conflicting visions between the conservative and moderate/liberal wings of the GOP. Do Republicans pursue steeper, front-loaded tax cuts in favor of a slower initial reduction of the national debt? Revenue-neutrality or spending reductions? Middle class tax cuts (as Trump promised), or tax cuts for the wealthy/business class to stimulate broader economic growth (as preferred by Speaker Paul Ryan)? And they still have to deal with obstructionist Democrats.
And make no mistake; tax reform is desperately needed. The U.S. has the highest corporate tax rate in the industrialized world at 39.1%, and a tax code that clocks in at 2.4 million words, more than three times as many as the King James Bible. Compliance to that monstrosity costs Americans $234.4 billion per year. We routinely lose businesses to more favorable tax environments like Ireland and Canada, and the investment capital and jobs go with them.
Likewise, high personal income tax rates mean less money for consumers to spend and invest, which leads to less personal savings, slower job creation, and less economic growth. Millions of small businesses file revenue under personal income taxes and face a top rate of 43.4%, reducing their ability to create jobs. As "red" states have proven, tax cuts boost the economy.
Success is possible based on the record of state and local Republicans, but the national GOP has to get on board. Charles Cooke of National Review points out, "At the state level, the GOP has been remarkably effective at ushering in reform over the last seven years; at the federal level, by contrast, it has been able only to hold the line."
As Republicans move to take on tax reform, there will be plenty of disagreements on policy that will need to be resolved, from top marginal rates to tax credits to the controversial "border adjustment" tax. In order to resolve these conflicts, Republicans have to avoid a purist approach and negotiate with one another. Better to get a half loaf today and come back for another bite tomorrow than go home hungry.
The moderates need to understand that standing on principles — Rule of Law, individual liberty, limited government and personal responsibility — is important. Conservatives have to concede that a large number of elected Republicans don't hail from the solidly-conservative Deep South, and they will not keep their seats in places like Colorado and Maine and New York if they take a hardline approach. The perfect cannot be the enemy of the good. And as frustrating as it is for conservatives to not get provisions they want, they will be even more frustrated if President Trump decides to shun them and work with moderates and Democrats. Each group is needed to maintain a majority, and that majority is worthless if it can't work together to accomplish its larger goals.
Republicans will either learn quickly from the recent debacle, or their time in power will be short-lived.  ~The Patriot Post

{rickwells.us} ~ Neil Cavuto sets up the interview with Tea Party leader Mark Meckler, warning that fears are the House Freedom Caucus “could lose its impact and power and even respect.”... He notes Meckler’s disgust with the way that President Trump has been characterizing members of the Freedom Caucus  who opposed the Ryancare liar-nObamacare-lite bill. Meckler describes the current state of relations between conservatives and President Trump as “an incredible transition,” saying, “He’s gone from the guy who said he’s going to DC to drain the swamp, Freedom Caucus are drain the swamp kind of guys, now it looks like we’ve got the Creature from the Black Lagoon in the White House, because now he’s talking about no repeal, breaking his promises.” Reminding the audience, Meckler says, “I mean his promise was repeal, repeal, repeal. It was not liar-nObamacare lite, so, yeah, I’m disgusted. He’s going against the wrong people. He should be going against the moderates and the leadership, not the Freedom Caucus.”...Sorry, but I have to agree with Mark.

{lidblog.com} ~ On Friday afternoon Fox News’ Adam Housley provided a bombshell report that provided more evidence that President Trump’s March 4th tweet about being spied upon by the liar-nObama administration, was true... The Democratic Party attempt to delegitimize the Trump presidency by linking him to Russia may turn out to expose illegality by team liar-nObama instead of their goal– trying to sabotage the nascent Trump administration. The revelations in the report include; it was an intelligence big shot behind the unmasking of General Flynn and civilians; the unmasking was done as a blatant political act, none of it had anything to do with Russia, Nunes new about the documents since January but intelligence stone-walled his attempt to get the information from them, and the people who were named by the NY Times were not his source for learning about the documents, they just facilitated Nunes being able to see them...

{lidblog.com} ~ Remember when words mattered? You know what I am talking about! When words had a meaning, before they are artificially softened. The days before taxes were called revenue enhancements... before government spending of our hard-earned money was called investments, or when there were terrorists instead of militants. Back then words mattered. Sure, at times they may have been harsh sounding like when this Oscar winner is instead of the Oscar goes to. That last one gives the impression that the best picture award is just another meaningless participation trophy; “the 10th place award goes to;” Of course, there is the recent silly transition from Illegal Alien to undocumented Alien. If they are simply undocumented for coming in to the country illegally, then a murderer is simply an undocumented executioner, a kidnapper an undocumented parent, someone who drive despite the fact their license was suspended an undocumented driver, a burglar an undocumented resident etc., etc. Another one of those new-fangled, softened-terms is sanctuary cities. That particular term didn’t replace another one like “undocumented alien.” It’s a relatively new term because municipalities used to act to keep criminals under lock and key, they would never consciously break the law. But cities such as Los Angeles, Chicago, NY, Seattle and others that call themselves “sanctuary cities” aren’t providing sanctuary, they are aiding and abetting criminals. In most cases violent criminals...Thats so true.

The Allegation That Congress Destroyed
Your Internet Privacy Is Fake News
by Tom Giovanetti
{ipi.org} ~ You have been lied to about “your browsing history being sold to the highest bidder.” That was fake news pushed by special interest groups taking advantage of easily duped social media... One clear message from the last election is that voters want a clean break from the heavy-handed regulatory overreach of the liar-nObama administration. Congress intends to overturn as much liar-nObama administration overreach as possible, and it’s in that context that Congress overturned the Federal Communications Commission’s (FCC) pending privacy regulation. But there’s been a lot of confusion, so let’s explain. Originally, consumer internet privacy was handled by the federal agency specifically designed and empowered to protect consumers: the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). The FTC has legislative authority and decades of agency expertise in consumer protection, including privacy protection...

Homosexuality's health hazards:
Word is getting out
JKdVvCkyGJy6yVkIOKywY2La1ToIZdDYhrd8Aq88u8eMMQPTotw4uiMAVMJb_NJE_o5r51l6bYLG2XBjIwrJl2v7v1RxO5zq5dCbUmND=s0-d-e1-ft#%3Ca%20rel%3Dnofollow%20href=
 by Linda Harvey
{wnd.com} ~ Homosexuality is “exploding” among kids in the U.S., according to one expert. And it’s not good news, since this behavior has not suddenly become less risky.

Two new resources have just been published that parents, teachers, health-care professionals and pastors should keep handy as our communities deal with growing numbers of the misguided and sexually confused.

“The Health Hazards of Homosexuality: What the Medical and Psychological Research Reveals” is a 600-page reference book with over a thousand citations, written in a highly readable style for a general audience.

The medical evidence paints a dire picture that should become an urgent public health problem as these behaviors ironically grow in popularity among youth.

The second resource is Paul and Kirk Cameron’s important WND column in which they analyze recent stats from the Centers for Disease Control, with these startling findings: Homosexual behavior has increased 85 percent in recent years among America’s teens.

This is a shocking trend. But will public health officials take measures to protect our youth, now that the dire implications are evident for all to see?

It’s doubtful. Don’t expect anything but “LGBTQ” business as usual, with activism undiminished, even on the increase. Parents should be ever-watchful for homosexual indoctrination in their kids’ schools.

It’s spring, and that means schools allow, or in some cases promote, the victim-posturing “Day of Silence” as well as “Harvey Milk Day” in California schools and June “pride” month. Both elementary and secondary schools are replete with teacher, staff and student activists who believe the prevailing, high-risk propaganda.

And the election of Donald Trump has ignited a rage entitlement in the left that won’t respect the boundaries of innocence and tender youth.

This spring, radical teachers, homosexuals and “allies,” as well as outside activists are likely to ratchet up their sales pitch to kids, urging them to exercise their “rights” to fearlessly experiment with these deviant identities and behaviors.

The rise in homosexual expression has been predicted by many of us over the past two decades. If you promote sexual behavior to impressionable kids, more teens – especially those with fewer moral bearings – will say, “Why not?”

In same-sex circles, homosexual hook-ups can become a daring adventure at camp-outs and sleepovers. Opportunity is everywhere students of the same sex gather or socialize, and it’s one reason homosexuality has traditionally been taboo at schools, camps and youth organizations.

But the incessant “LGBTQ” agenda has changed all that, with adult advocates insisting on more access to youth.

“Health Hazards” is published by Mass Resistance and is a powerful, well-written book presenting a detailed analysis of the subject. Every person interested in homosexuality should have this book as a valuable resource – people struggling with same-sex attractions as well as relatives, parents, friends, pastors and public officials.

Mainstream medicine simply won’t go here, however, as compelling as the evidence is. So “we the people” need to guide our nation and communities back to sense about the perils of homosexuality and gender confusion, especially to our children.

Among the risks revealed and meticulously outlined in “Health Hazards” are:
+The real numbers of those involved in homosexuality /bisexuality/ transgenderism;
+Absence of medical evidence for a biological basis for homosexuality or gender confusion;
+The rise in reckless homosexual hook-ups in the age of Internet sites like Grindr and the new HIV-prevention PrEP medication;
+The hazardous mixed messages of HIV outreach campaigns funded with taxpayer money;
+Promiscuity of both homosexual men and lesbians as well as the typically short duration of relationships;
+Elevated substance abuse trends among those who identify as homosexual and transgendered;
+The increased rate of suicide attempts among the sexually confused, especially transgenders (41 percent) and how this does not change in communities with high acceptance, belying the “stigma” and “discrimination” rationale.
The authors pose the question, “Why don’t we hear more about ‘GLB’ health hazards?” The American Psychiatric Association in the 1970s, followed by the American Psychological Association, decided after radical activist pressure to no longer designate homosexuality a mental disorder. The book summarizes what happened next:

“Following the lead of the mental health groups, others fell into line:
+the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC),
+the federal Department of Health & Human Services, major medical associations, local public health agencies, the American Association for the Advancement of Science, and assorted media.
+The unscientific opinion that homosexuality should no longer be considered a mental disorder became the accepted wisdom.
+Sodomitic practices were now to be considered normal and healthy expressions of human sexuality” (pp. 50-51).
This has dire implications for our children, especially as more adopt this identity, which Paul Cameron says is “learned,” not inborn. He notes, “Of the 16 million U.S. high-school students today, an extra million are either homosexual or heading in that direction!”

Thankfully, there are medical experts taking up the cause of telling the whole truth about these behaviors. Dr. Paul Church, Harvard Medical School assistant clinic professor of urology, wrote an endorsement for “The Health Hazards of Homosexuality”:

“As a practicing clinician for 35 years, I have seen and treated the serious consequences associated with promiscuity and high-risk sexual behaviors, including those common to the LGBT community. The ‘medical establishment’ has been all too silent on its duty to inform and alert the public to these dangers, as its ranks have become infiltrated by homosexual activists and its policy makers preoccupied with political correctness more than protecting the public welfare.”

We can thank Drs. Paul McHugh and Lawrence Mayer of Johns Hopkins for their stunning analysis published past fall, reiterating the lack of evidence for a biological origin for homosexual or transgendered attractions. We can also thank the growing American College of Pediatricians for brave warnings about transgenderism in children.

The truth-tellers are getting the word out. Will parents and politicians do their part?

Let’s propose and pass policies that protect our children from inaccurate and harmful propaganda. It used to be called “the corruption of children.”

It still is.

Gohmert – We Had Deal With Trump Twice, Establishment Ryan And Priebus Vetoed Both

louie gohmert

Vice President Pence said yesterday in a speech in Ohio that, “You can take that to the bank, President Trump is never going to stop fighting to keep the promises he made to the American people, and we will make America great again. We will repeal and replace Obamacare and give the American people the world class health care they deserve.” Just in case the meaning of the word repeal has gotten lost in all of the retreating and calls to compromise with the establishment status quo representatives like Reince Priebus and Paul Ryan, repeal is defined as: “the action of revoking or annulling a law or congressional act.” It doesn’t say anything about converting it to a lite or watered down version of its former self.

The anchor posts two Trump tweets that indicate the effort to get a deal to repeal Obamacare is still in process. She notes that the House Freedom Caucus is crucial to the success of any bill, the same Freedom Caucus that President Trump has turned on in recent days, supposedly now willing to supplant his base with Democrats or Democrat lites, like Priebus and Ryan.

Rep Louie Gohmert, a Freedom Caucus member, joins the host for a discussion of the situation. He’s asked why he was so adamantly opposed to the passage of Ryancare, noting that “It feels a great deal like the 2008 Wall Street bailout, when we had immense pressure on us, ‘you just gotta pass this.’ He also points out the similarity to HW Bush’s administration with the establishment saying, ‘Aw, it’s a little bitty tax increase, don’t worry about it, we’ve got to get this done.’ That same kind of mentality.”

He addresses the increased power of the HHS Secretary and compares it to the power that Jeh Johnson, NSA and others wound up with under the Obama regime following the passage of the Patriot Act under George W Bush.

To watch video go to http://rickwells.us/gohmert-deal-trump-twice-establishment-ryan-priebus-vetoed/

He says, “When people find out, if this bill passes as it is, people find out number one their rates go up, number two this was not a repeal, it gave government more power. He says they had a deal with the President twice, with the primary issue being the reduction of premiums “and each time Priebus and Ryan say ‘no, no, no, you can’t do that. He wanted to make a deal, he was ready to make a deal.” He says at some point on Tuesday there was a meeting in which the decision to go to war was made, the Freedom Caucus who stood by the President was identified as the enemy and those who abandoned Trump, like Paul Ryan, were embraced.

Asked about the threats against the Freedom Caucus members by the White House, Gohmert said, “If this bill passes, the President’s administration will be defined for the next four years as a fraud, as they promised repeal and they gave more power to the government, and it’s costing us more. It is going to destroy his administration.”

He adds, “But it’s a two-fer for the establishment; they destroy the conservatives, the grass roots that stood by the President, and they make the President look terrible when people actually find out how bad this hurts the American individual.

Gohmert says the tax fight could also be negatively impacted by a weakened conservative base, that Trump “is taking advice from Priebus, who’s establishment to the core, predicting the success or failure of the Trump presidency rides on what happens over the next thirty days.

In defiance of Mayor deBlasio’s NYC ‘sanctuary city’ status, NYPD officers alert federal immigration (ICE) agents when illegals facing deportation will be in court

Rank-and-file New York City cops are ready to assist with the federal government’s expanded efforts to deport undocumented immigrants, something the city’s mayor has pledged not to do, the president of the NYPD sergeants union said.

RT  Ed Mullins, president of the Sergeants Benevolent Association, took New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio and New York City Police Commissioner James O’Neill to task on a Sunday radio show, blasting the pair for announcing that the city, including the New York Police Department, would not fully cooperate with the Trump administration’s recent immigration policy directive.

But the latest guidance from the Trump administration broadens ICE’s priorities to include nearly every undocumented immigrant in the United States. The Department of Homeland Security has instructed immigration enforcement to prioritize the deportation of anyone who engages in “fraud or willful misrepresentation in connection with any official matter” — a description that fits any undocumented immigrant who has used a fake social security number to qualify for gainful employment.

NY DAILY NEWS  As a “sanctuary city,” the city currently only complies with Immigration and Customs Enforcement “detainer” orders to hold a defendant until federal agents can take custody in cases involving violent or serious felonies.

But in the process of verifying warrants against a defendant, officials said the NYPD will contact relevant law enforcement, including ICE, thereby alerting the agency to an immigrant’s upcoming appearance in a city courtroom.

Advocates slammed the practice, saying it amounts to “collusion” with immigration officials that goes against the spirit of Mayor de Blasio’s pledge that the city will remain a sanctuary city.

Public defenders representing two men in ICE’s cross hairs during separate court appearances in Queens told The News they were stunned to learn the NYPD communicated with the federal agency about both men before they appeared before a judge.

In both cases, screenshots show the city did not comply with ICE “detainer” orders. Instead, immigration agents just showed up to court.

De Blasio has touted a law signed in 2014 that drastically reduced the city’s cooperation with ICE. It declared the city would NOT comply with ICE detainer orders — except those who have been convicted of “violent or serious felonies.”

RT President Donald Trump’s new policies demand the deportation of any illegal alien who violates a law or is charged with a crime, no matter the severity of the offense, as well as those who receive government assistance or falsify Social Security data in order to work.

Mullins insisted that the commissioner has “a moral obligation” to “follow the direction of law.” He added that many NYPD cops are ready and willing to assist Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents with deportation orders.

“Make no mistake about it, the members of law enforcement in the NYPD want to cooperate with ICE,” Mullins said. “I speak to cops every day — they want to cooperate with ICE, they want to work with fellow law enforcement agents.”

In its new federal immigration directive, the Trump administration said that any undocumented immigrant can be deported at any time, but said it would be prioritizing “criminal aliens,” meaning those who have been charged with or convicted of a crime.

The NYPD’s top spokesman, Stephen Davis, said ICE also has access to arrest information on its own. The removals will be aided by law enforcement agencies choosing to participate in a program which would grant local officers the authority to act as immigration agents.

South Carolina: Muslim on Parole for Jihad Plot, Arrested Again Trying to Join ISIS

Zakaryia Abdin, 18

Source: South Carolina Man Arrested for Attempting to Join ISIS | OPA | Department of Justice

Zakaryia Abdin, 18, of Ladson, South Carolina, appeared in federal court this morning in Charleston, South Carolina, following his arrest by the FBI last night. Abdin was arrested for attempting to provide material support to the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS), a designated foreign terrorist organization. The charge is based on Abdin’s alleged attempt to travel overseas to join the terrorist organization. Special Agents of the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF) took Abdin into custody at the Charleston International Airport before he boarded an outbound flight.

More details via Paroled York County, SC, teen who tried to join ISIS arrested by FBI

Police warned a juvenile parole board that a teen from York who was convicted of trying to join ISIS was a threat.

The teen wanted to kill police, American soldiers and anyone else who got in his way, court and parole board testimony showed. But the parole board released the teen last year before Zakaryia Abdin Abdin had to be lawfully released at age 21.

Late Thursday, the FBI arrested Abdin, now 18, at the Charleston airport on federal terrorism charges of trying to help and join ISIS.

York County’s top law enforcement officers and York’s top officials are outraged. They say they tried to warn state officials.

York Police Chief Andy Robinson and 16th Circuit Solicitor Kevin Brackett confirmed to The Herald that Abdin is the same person charged and convicted in York as a juvenile.

Abdin and another unnamed extremist were stopped before a 2015 plot was executed to rob a gun store in North Carolina, then attack troops at military bases near Raleigh.

Robinson said he is livid that Abdin was out of jail. “We tried to protect the people of this community, this state and America by arresting him and asking that he be kept in jail after he was convicted,” Robinson said Friday.

“We did the best we could,” Robinson said. “But the parole board let him out. It is aggravating that now the federal government can prosecute him because he is 18, when they couldn’t when he was a juvenile. He was just as much a threat then as he is now, and this shows it.”

“All I can say is, I am happy they got him before he hurt or killed somebody. Or a lot of people,” Robinson said.

Robinson and other officers from the York Police Department and York County Sheriff’s Office appeared twice before the S.C. Juvenile Parole Board in 2016. They pleaded with the board not to release Abdin from jail before age 21, when his sentence would end.

“The parole board was deaf to public safety, when our officers told the board that this person was a threat to the United States of America,” said York Mayor Eddie Lee.

Federal prosecutors did not charge Abdin when he was arrested in York at 16. South Carolina has no terrorism laws, so Abdin could only be charged with illegal gun possession.

Abdin, a former York Comprehensive High School student, was arrested in York in February 2015 with a gun, an ISIS flag, electronic material that linked him to ISIS abroad and to another alleged Islamic extremist. He also had a floor plan of the gun store where authorities say a robbery was planned.

Abdin, of Syrian heritage, was convicted in York County Family Court in 2015, then paroled in 2016. Because he was a juvenile, his name was never publicly released.

The Herald, which covered his conviction and parole hearings, did not name Abdin at the time because he was prosecuted as a juvenile.

Federal prosecutors released his name Friday, saying Abdin, now an adult, was again trying to join and help ISIS. Federal authorities declined to say that Abdin was the same person convicted in York.

Brackett, the 16th Circuit solicitor, said evidence against Abdin in the York case was “very troubling and disturbing.”

Abdin told the juvenile parole board in two hearings and a judge when he pleaded guilty to weapon possession that he was a changed person, and that he never plotted to join ISIS, despite evidence in juvenile court and police testimony.

Abdin, who now lives in Ladson near Charleston, told the parole board in May he would be living with family near Charleston and attending technical school.

Australia: Muslims slam imam as “fake Muslim” for opposing Sharia and obeying Australian law

( MUSLIMS DO NOT ASSIMILATE, THEY INFILTRATE )

Here is yet another installment in our periodic series: why we don’t see more genuine Muslim reformers.

“‘I’m considered fake because I would die for Australia’: Imam slams extremists who claim he’s a fraud for following Australian law over Sharia and not wanting a Muslim state,” by Kate Darvall, Daily Mail Australia, April 1, 2017 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):

A Muslim leader has slammed extremists who claim he is a fraud for following Australian law over Sharia and not wanting to form an independent Muslim state.

Imam Shaikh Mohammad Tawhidi, who has openly spoken out against ISIS and extremists, confronted members of the Islamic community in a video shared online on Friday.

Imam Tawhidi said he was labelled a ‘fake’ Shaikh because he prioritised Australian law over Sharia law.

‘I am considered a fake because I would die for Australia. I am considered a fake because I live by the Australian constitution,’ he said.

‘I am considered a fake because I glorify the Australian flag.

‘I am considered a fake because I reject Sharia law and live by the Australian law.’

‘They have called me a fake Muslim Imam or a Shaikh only because I expose their intentions to create a caliphate within Australia,’ he said.

‘I am considered a fake because I condemn terrorism. I am considered a fake because I oppose and expose extremism.’

‘They have called me a fake Muslim Imam or a Shaikh only because I expose their intentions to create a caliphate within Australia,’ Imam Tawhidi said

He defended himself claiming he was legitimate and only accused of being a fraud because he did not serve a radical Islamic agenda.

‘For them, I am too Australian,’ he said.

The Muslim leader said he rejected controversial Sharia law to live by the Australian law ‘because I am an Australian Muslim and not a Muslim Australian’.

‘I want an Islam that is compatible with the west,’ he said…

PC Kills: Will the West Ever Wake up From the Delusional Approach to Jihad?

A jihadist attacks individuals in the public square of a Western town.

The media refuses to provide a description of the attacker, reporting only the weapon he used.

A physical description of a man of African, South Asian, or Middle Eastern descent leaks out in the ensuing hours.

Law enforcement authorities deliver a press conference confirming the attacker’s Islamic name and stating that at this time, his motive is unclear.

Rumors on social media percolate about the man screaming “Allahu Akbar.”

Mainstream reporters ask local Muslim community leaders and neighbors about the attacker. They express universal shock, describing him as a decent man who might have been rough around the edges but never showed signs of being a terrorist. The man came from a middle-class family, liked playing video games with friends, and by all accounts lived a normal existence. Toward the end of the stories, those close to the attacker note that he had grown increasingly devout in recent years.

Bloggers begin to research and quickly find that the attacker was a member of a mosque led by an imam who had been recorded preaching hatred and violence toward the West. The attacker posted violent verses from the Quran and railed against the “Crusaders’” wars in the Levant on social media pages captured by screenshot before they were taken down. It emerges that he had spent months in the Middle East during recent years.

Several days later, law enforcement authorities report that the attacker in fact appears to have been a terrorist. But he had no direct ties to IS or Al-Qaeda, so there is no reason for alarm.

Politicians plead with the public that this man perverted one of the world’s great religions – Islam, “the religion of peace” – and that his acts were “non-Islamic.” They urge us all to come together in a shared belief in tolerance and diversity. Love trumps hate. Lone wolves are a fact of life, and their efforts only underscore the need for community engagement to “counter violent extremism.”

How many times are we in the West going to see the above script play out before something changes?

How long will we live a naïve fantasy in which we act as if all is well as the global jihadist movement metastasizes, bringing the violent murder of infidels to our shores?

If the murder of 3,000 innocents on American soil has not caused the West to openly and honestly examine who the enemy is and what animates him, and to develop a comprehensive strategy that mobilizes all of our resources and capabilities to defeat him, do we expect anything to change the next time we experience a mass attack?

Meanwhile, those who do understand the enemy are dismissed as cranks or called bigots. Those who assert that jihad is the motive – that violent subversion with the goal of world domination is justified by core Islamic texts, as the jihadists themselves clearly illustrate – are told to pipe down.

If you offend by speaking truth, you will cause violence. Shut up, and maybe you can keep your head.

Government service predicated on an understanding of the theopolitical Islamic supremacism that animates jihadists is simply out of the question. Heaven forbid that national security and foreign policy officials have any understanding of the Sharia law that both de facto and de jure governs the lives of hundreds of millions of people worldwide.

What will it take for the West to flip this script?

To date, murder, bloodshed, and fear abound. In spite of that fact, much of the West would rather cling to a narrative that makes it feel good about itself than recognize the reality of a global jihadist menace that threatens its very survival. This insane delusion will continue to have fatal consequences until we wake up. Republic under threat

NOTEWhen writing about God and Jesus, The Daily Jot means YHVH as God and Yeshua Ha Mashiach as Jesus--the actual original names and the true nature and character of them.

Some recent headlines belie common sense. Women wearing hijabs as a symbol of feminism in the US when the hijab could be considered a symbol of oppression and domestic violence against women around the world; women protesting health rights when in reality they are demanding the right to kill their babies in the womb; protesters and rioters violently beating people, smashing cars, and burning buildings, saying they are protesting fascism; Cities fighting to give sanctuary to criminals because they are in America illegally; Democrats saying they have never heard so many lies about a President, but they are the ones telling the lies...we could go on. These are signs that our Republic is under attack.

Never before have I seen such vitriol directed at a President. We are witnessing history being made-and not in a good way. Since World War II, nearly every US President (I think Reagan was the exception) has supported a globalist worldview for America. From the Cold War to Vietnam to skirmishes along the way to the current threads of crisis in the Middle East, America has supported a worldview of spreading democracy as a way to achieve world peace. Opening up trade with China, Japan, Korea, and promoting trade with Russia and others was supposed to keep the peace while enriching not only business, but also ways of life. For nearly the last 100 years, this globalist vision has been set in place.

The globalist vision also has been established and institutionalized throughout the government. It is anchored in the State Department, the Defense Department, the Departments of Agriculture, Interior, Education, and even in the Department of Justice. This globalist vision appears to be a stronghold in the CIA, the FBI, Homeland Security, and other secret intelligence gathering agencies such as the National Security Agency. The Democratic Party and much of the Republican Party have embraced globalism to the point of advocating an unspoken form of communism. Donald Trump's "America First" mantra has exposed just how deep the globalist socialist roots have become in our society and government.

The mere threat of populism-of rejecting and tearing down the construct of socialist globalism that has become so imbedded in America's governmental lexicon-has brought the fury of the puppeteers and their puppets against all things that disagree with the globalist agenda. Normal, common sense, God-fearing, hard working, family-oriented people who can see the folly of this system, are labeled racists, bigots, misogynists, and a whole bunch of phobias. In short, the Constitutional Republic is under threat. The American way of life is under attack. It is so close to being overthrown. We need to pray and act. Romans 13:12 says, "The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light." As it is written, "now it is high time to awake out of sleep."
Have a Blessed and Powerful Day!

Donald Trump Vows to ‘Solve North Korea’ Problem

Speaking from the Oval Office in an interview with the Financial Times, the US president gave China an ultimatum: “Well if China is not going to solve North Korea, we will. That is all I am telling you.”

In a separate interview with the publication, deputy White House national security adviser KT McFarland warned: “There is a real possibility that North Korea will be able to hit the US with a nuclear-armed missile by the end of the first Trump term.”

The US sees North Korea as its most pressing threat after former president Barack Obama warned Trump about the substantial advancements Pyongyang has made with their nuclear weapons and long-range missiles.

Trump confirmed he would be discussing the issue of North Korea with Chinese president Xi Jinping when he hosts the world leader at his resort this week.

The president added: “China has great influence over North Korea.” (Read more from “Donald Trump Vows to ‘Solve North Korea’ Problem” HERE) http://joemiller.us/2017/04/donald-trump-vows-solve-north-korea-problem/
