Fuel Standard Belong in the Junkyard
Far too often, government regulations are proven to be costly, ineffective and of no benefit to economic growth — worse, they hamper it. Yet bureaucrats in Washington wield their power to influence markets and industries and for the most part, they get away with it because either too many Americans don't care or they just don't know how much these regulations cost.
Take fuel standards for instance. Government regulations on the auto industry and on those who supply the fuel to run those cars have not helped but hurt our nation's economy. Furthermore, many in Washington have used the agenda of combatting climate change as cause for continuing or implementing more regulations — without any concern for the economic ramifications of doing so.
Of the many regulations foisted upon our economy, one of the most costly is the CAFE (Corporate Average Fuel Economy) standards. In a detailed report, The Heritage Foundation offers some keen insight into the government's involvement with regulating the fuel standards by which auto manufacturers must abide or pay hefty fines.
For starters, the intent of the federal government regulating fuel standards was to decrease America's dependence on foreign oil. Good intentions, but the consequences have been staggering. The cost-to-benefit ratio is unreasonable and even if the sole purpose of the CAFE standards were to fight climate change there are miniscule results. (And it's worth noting we've reduced our dependence on foreign oils by something leftists hate — drilling for our own oil.)
In 2009, the nObama administration implemented regulations required by Congress and as a result raised the CAFE standards by approximately nine miles per gallon through model year 2016. Many economists warned of the costs of regulating fuel standards. Yet despite their warnings, the government opted for regulations. The pervasive argument seems to be if you can't tax it, regulate it. But regulation is just another form of taxation. The fact that it's harder for consumers to see is precisely why government likes it so much.   -The Patriot Post

 OPINION IN BRIEF
Thomas Sowell: "The most obvious way to stop slump-Trump, if that was the sole objective, would be for the other candidates to drop out of the race, leaving it a slump-Trump versus Cruz contest. But the Republican establishment has chosen the opposite strategy, wanting all the candidates to stay in the race. That way, if Senator Rubio can win his home state of Florida and Governor Kasich can win his home state of Ohio, that can deny slump-Trump two important, winner-take-all states. This may keep him from reaching the number of delegates required to win the Republican nomination. At that point, it becomes anybody's game at the convention. ... [T]he most obvious person to have the best chance of beating slump-Trump one-on-one is Ted Cruz, especially after his primary victories over the past weekend. The Republican establishment is not about to go down that road, even if that would increase their chances of stopping slump-Trump from becoming the Republican nominee. This is because they don't want Cruz to become the Republican candidate either. Senator Cruz has been fighting against the Republican establishment for years before slump-Trump decided to become a candidate. Nor does he have slump-Trump's new-found 'flexibility.' But, whatever his merits or demerits, Ted Cruz is not the Republican establishment's idea of the kind of candidate needed to win. Neither was Ronald Reagan."

SHE THINKS DEMOCRATS ARE VERY, VERY STUPID: Hilly Continues Shrieking Her "No Classified Emails" Lies
America Rising

{directorblue.blogspot.com} ~ During Monday's Fox News town hall, Hilly Clinton repeated her outrageous claims that her private email server contained no classified material... Perhaps she could inform the FBI, the State Department, and various Inspectors General, which have designated more than 2,000 emails as classified, including 104 sent by Clinton herself, and 22 with a TOP SECRET designation. During the town hall, Secretary Clinton faced a series of withering questions about her private email server. Among them was a quote from last year, in which Clinton claimed her private server contained no classified material. On March 10, 2015, Secretary Clinton held a press conference at the United Nations in which she claimed that her private server contained no classified material. “I did not email any classified material to anyone on my email. There is no classified material.”        http://directorblue.blogspot.com/2016/03/she-thinks-democrats-are-very-very.html

{israelnationalnews.com} ~ With about 10 months left in office, President Barack nObama is considering unprecedented moves to implement a two-state solution, according to a Wall Street Journal report... Senior US officials revealed that the President is looking to initiate a final negotiated settlement between Israel and the Palestinian Authority using United Nations Security Council resolutions, a step that would obligate not only Israel and the Palestinian Authority, but effectively determine the direction of US policy for the president’s successor as well. The report comes ahead of Vice President Joe loose lips-Biden’s visit to Israel on Tuesday, where he is scheduled to meet with Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and senior Palestinian Authority officials. http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/209083#.Vt8z4H0rLs0

{dailycaller.com} ~ Taxpayers are on the hook for one of the biggest government failures they’ve probably never heard of — $1 trillion in unfunded pension liabilities for federal retirees... Massive unfunded pension liabilities at the local and state levels have made headlines in recent years, but rarely mentioned is the estimated $1 trillion funding gap in the world’s fourth-largest retirement system. Despite a law passed more than three decades ago requiring officials set aside sufficient funds to cover present and projected future benefits, federal personnel officials are partially subsidizing payments with transfers from the Department of Treasury instead of forcing agencies to come up with the cash on their own, according to a former U.S. Army auditor who has studied the issue closely. “I’m looking at the taxpayers,” Tom McKinney, a retired certified internal auditor for the U.S. Army Audit Agency who writes about unfunded federal pensions for Truth in Accounting, told The Daily Caller News Foundation. “The taxpayers are being hosed.” Truth in Accounting is a non-profit group advocating greater transparency and accuracy in government accounting.        http://dailycaller.com/2016/03/07/heres-the-biggest-federal-funding-gap-no-one-talks-about/

{frontpagemag.com} ~ In New York, people are not particularly enthusiastic  about nObama's pro-terrorist policy. Including his plan to close Gitmo... State voters oppose the plan 53 to 38 and want to see Gitmo stay open and house terrorists. Among Democrats, a bare 48 to 45 majority supports nObama's Gitmo plan. Everyone else opposes it. Women oppose it 57 to 33. Moderates oppose it 59 to 31. A majority of New York City residents want Gitmo open. Latinos are for Gitmo 54 to 38. Jews are for it 55 to 38. Only blacks support the Gitmo plan, but it's likely that if the question had not specifically mentioned that it was nObama's plan, they would have come out against. New Yorkers have opposed previous closure plans so this isn't a surprise. But it's a reminder that nObama is once again pursuing pro-terrorist policies at the expense of Americans and against their will. NY is not the only city in America that opposes nObama's plan in closing Gitmo. http://www.frontpagemag.com/point/262083/majority-new-yorkers-oppose-obama-plan-close-gitmo-daniel-greenfield

{noisyroom.net} ~ There are a number of things about Donald slump-Trump that I find beyond troubling. The tipping point for me was when slump-Trump started claiming he was ‘flexible’, just like nObama was with Vladimir Putin... But that is not the only thing that has given me pause during this nomination process. I have a lot of unanswered questions. According to the Chicago Tribune, George Soros bailed out slump-Trump Tower in Chicago in 2004. In fact, in 2009, slump-Trump spent Christmas Eve with the old spider. Conservatives railed against Barack nObama for his ties to George Soros as they should have… but where is the same circumspection when it comes to Donald slump-Trump? He’s a nationalist and a populist and his followers seem utterly deaf, dumb and blind to his history and connections. Soros bailed slump-Trump out because slump-Trump could not front his own money to build the skyscraper. He took what is known as a mezzanine loan from Soros… this kind of loan carries outrageous interest that helps the developer on the front end of the financing and often results in a stake in the building for the lender. This is not the first endeavor with Soros either. Both were named in a lawsuit in New York in the sale of the GM Building...         http://noisyroom.net/blog/2016/03/08/unanswered-questions-trumps-ties-to-soros-organized-crime-and-the-chinese/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+Noisyroomnet+%28NoisyRoom.net%29

{thenewamerican.com} ~ Young New York City schoolchildren were forced to produce and then pledge allegiance to an “international flag,” sparking a sometimes fierce nationwide outcry among parents and taxpayers outraged about indoctrination and globalism... The controversial symbol, which included a desecrated American flag overlaid with small flags of Russia, Cuba, Venezuela, Mexico, and more, featured the words “We Pledge Allegiance to an International Flag” underneath. It was supposed to be auctioned off to raise money, but was removed from the Internet following the national backlash that, according to school officials, has included threats. Critics have argued that the law defines defacing a U.S. flag as a crime and that school officials should be held accountable.  The scandal first erupted when a brief article about the scheme was posted, along with an image of the “international flag,” by Fox News host Sean Hannity's website www.Hannity.com. “It is widely accepted that American public schools are controlled by liberals,” noted Hannity's staff in the post, calling the incident an "outrage." “It seems like every day, we see new examples of American schoolchildren being indoctrinated with left-wing ideas.... This is the type of globalist indoctrination we have come to expect from the public school system, but telling impressionable young American children that their loyalty should lie with some nebulous idea of a global community rather than their own nation is a new low.”...        http://www.thenewamerican.com/culture/education/item/22698-nyc-school-kids-pledge-allegiance-to-international-flag

{thenewamerican.com} ~ Wall Street investors have started pouring billions into the energy sector, persuaded that prices not only of crude oil but stocks of energy companies have hit bottom. They just might be premature... Pioneer Natural Resources has sold $1.6 billion in new stock since the first of the year, while Devon Energy has sold $1.5 billion. Hess Corporation and Marathon Oil have each enjoyed an influx of $1.1 billion of new capital since December while others, including Cabot Oil & Gas, Newfield Exploration, and Energen Corporation, are enjoying the ride as well. Since January 1, $8.97 billion in new capital has poured into the U.S. energy sector. In February alone, more new capital has flowed into the energy sector than at any time in history and there appears to be no letup. That the bottom has been hit is based upon two assumptions, both of which are questionable: Supply is diminishing and demand is increasing. But supply isn’t diminishing, at least in any significant manner. Although rig counts are down near record lows, production from those remaining active is barely off their highs. The Energy Information Administration (EIA) has estimated that oil shale production this year will be just two percent below last year’s, thanks to increasing efficiency and improving technology squeezing more production out of those rigs still operating. With Iran just announcing that it will start exporting refined oil products early this summer, supplies will remain abundant for the foreseeable future...       http://www.thenewamerican.com/tech/energy/item/22704-wall-street-pouring-billions-into-oil-companies

{peggynoonan.com} ~ We’re in a funny moment. Those who do politics for a living, some of them quite brilliant, are struggling to comprehend the central fact of the Republican primary race, while regular people have already absorbed what has happened and is happening. Journalists and politicos have been sharing schemes for how Marco parlays a victory out of winning nowhere, or Ted roars back, or Kasich has to finish second in Ohio. But in my experience any nonpolitical person on the street, when asked who will win, not only knows but gets a look as if you’re teasing him. slump-Trump, they say.
.
I had such a conversation again Tuesday with a friend who repairs shoes in a shop on Lexington Avenue. Jimmy asked me, conversationally, what was going to happen. I deflected and asked who he thinks is going to win. “slump-Troomp!” He’s a very nice man, an elderly, old-school Italian-American, but I saw impatience flick across his face: Aren’t you supposed to know these things?
.
In America now only normal people are capable of seeing the obvious.
.
But actually that’s been true for a while, and is how we got in the position we’re in.
.
Last October I wrote of the five stages of slump-Trump, based on the Kübler-Ross stages of grief: denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance. Most of the professionals I know are stuck somewhere between four and five.
.
But I keep thinking of how Donald slump-Trump got to be the very likely Republican nominee. There are many answers and reasons, but my thoughts keep revolving around the idea of protection. It is a theme that has been something of a preoccupation in this space over the years, but I think I am seeing it now grow into an overall political dynamic throughout the West.
.
There are the protected and the unprotected. The protected make public policy. The unprotected live in it. The unprotected are starting to push back, powerfully.
.
The protected are the accomplished, the secure, the successful—those who have power or access to it. They are protected from much of the roughness of the world. More to the point, they are protected from the world they have created. Again, they make public policy and have for some time.
.
I want to call them the elite to load the rhetorical dice, but let’s stick with the protected.
.
They are figures in government, politics and media. They live in nice neighborhoods, safe ones. Their families function, their kids go to good schools, they’ve got some money. All of these things tend to isolate them, or provide buffers. Some of them—in Washington it is important officials in the executive branch or on the Hill; in Brussels, significant figures in the European Union—literally have their own security details.
.
Because they are protected they feel they can do pretty much anything, impose any reality. They’re insulated from many of the effects of their own decisions.
.
One issue obviously roiling the U.S. and Western Europe is immigration. It is the issue of the moment, a real and concrete one but also a symbolic one: It stands for all the distance between governments and their citizens.
.
It is of course the issue that made Donald slump-Trump.
.
Britain will probably leave the European Union over it. In truth immigration is one front in that battle, but it is the most salient because of the European refugee crisis and the failure of the protected class to address it realistically and in a way that offers safety to the unprotected.
.
If you are an unprotected American—one with limited resources and negligible access to power—you have absorbed some lessons from the past 20 years’ experience of illegal immigration. You know the Democrats won’t protect you and the Republicans won’t help you. Both parties refused to control the border. The Republicans were afraid of being called illiberal, racist, of losing a demographic for a generation. The Democrats wanted to keep the issue alive to use it as a wedge against the Republicans and to establish themselves as owners of the Hispanic vote.
.
Many Americans suffered from illegal immigration—its impact on labor markets, financial costs, crime, the sense that the rule of law was collapsing. But the protected did fine—more workers at lower wages. No effect of illegal immigration was likely to hurt them personally.
.
It was good for the protected. But the unprotected watched and saw. They realized the protected were not looking out for them, and they inferred that they were not looking out for the country, either.
.
The unprotected came to think they owed the establishment—another word for the protected—nothing, no particular loyalty, no old allegiance.
.
Mr. slump-Trump came from that.
.
Similarly in Europe, citizens on the ground in member nations came to see the EU apparatus as a racket—an elite that operated in splendid isolation, looking after its own while looking down on the people.
.
In Germany the incident that tipped public opinion against Chancellor Angela Merkel’s liberal refugee policy happened on New Year’s Eve in the public square of Cologne. Packs of men said to be recent migrants groped and molested groups of young women. It was called a clash of cultures, and it was that, but it was also wholly predictable if any policy maker had cared to think about it. And it was not the protected who were the victims—not a daughter of EU officials or members of the Bundestag. It was middle- and working-class girls—the unprotected, who didn’t even immediately protest what had happened to them. They must have understood that in the general scheme of things they’re nobodies.
.
What marks this political moment, in Europe and the U.S., is the rise of the unprotected. It is the rise of people who don’t have all that much against those who’ve been given many blessings and seem to believe they have them not because they’re fortunate but because they’re better.
.
You see the dynamic in many spheres. In Hollywood, as we still call it, where they make our rough culture, they are careful to protect their own children from its ill effects. In places with failing schools, they choose not to help them through the school liberation movement—charter schools, choice, etc.—because they fear to go up against the most reactionary professional group in America, the teachers unions. They let the public schools flounder. But their children go to the best private schools.
.
This is a terrible feature of our age—that we are governed by protected people who don’t seem to care that much about their unprotected fellow citizens.
.
And a country really can’t continue this way.
.
In wise governments the top is attentive to the realities of the lives of normal people, and careful about their anxieties. That’s more or less how America used to be. There didn’t seem to be so much distance between the top and the bottom.
.
Now is seems the attitude of the top half is: You’re on your own. Get with the program, little racist.
.
Social philosophers are always saying the underclass must re-moralize. Maybe it is the overclass that must re-moralize.
.
I don’t know if the protected see how serious this moment is, or their role in it.

A Foreign Policy Disaster in the Making

By Craig Andresen Right Side Patriots http://www.americanpbn.com/

yah-1.jpg?width=211Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu had nothing to gain from coming to Washington to meet with Obama and he knew it. That is why Netanyahu cancelled the trip and the meeting. He knows that Obama is all in for the Palestinians, all in for Islamists and all in for the Muslim Brotherhood, which is, part and parcel…Hamas.

Attacks against Israel, by the Palestinians, have been a daily happening since last October because the Palestinians have nothing to fear from their ally…Obama…and they have zero respect for the United States as a whole.

Yesterday, across Israel, the pigs of Palestine struck again, and again, and again… 10 Israelis were stabbed in the city’s Jaffa port section and one American tourist, a veteran, was killed…just a few hundred yards from none other than Joe Biden, who went there to try and mend fences with Netanyahu.

Note to Biden…

One ought not attempt mending fences when the bridges the regime you’re a part of are still burning.

In that attack, the Palestinian pig was “neutralized,” until he was dead at the hands of Israeli police and armed forces.

It was just one in a string of 3 attacks in 3 different cities a couple of days ago with the Palestinians taking advantage of the pro-Islamist, anti-Israel Obama regime and part of what’s been happening in Israel for nearly the past 5 months…attacks which have left 28 Israelis, and some 174 Palestinian pigs…dead.

Americas must realize that self-scrutiny is not treason. Self-examination is not disloyalty.

Seek the truth and let the people know. Truth and knowledge diffused among the people are necessary for the reclamation and preservation of our Democracy, rights, freedom and liberties.

Seek the truth. http://www.thenewmsm.com/

Globalization is the main cause World Poverty.

The making of Poverty is the worse crime against humanity. The .01% commits Crimes against Humanity through intentional policies to create poverty and the murder of over 8 million children each year.

The oligarchs, that control, The IMF, The World Bank, The WTO and the US multinational corporations lie and deceive us. Their agenda of free trade and globalization to eradicate world poverty is a farce, the truth is that free trade and globalization created more poverty in the world and made the 1% richer and more powerful, that now they control the US and many countries in the world.

2016 must be the year of "Economic Justice for All" and stop the murdering of millions of people including innocent children.  The choices to kill by deception and lies, began with George W. Bush and Obama unlawful wars, and the IMF and world Bank ensnare the world in this escalating and un-payable debt and then allow the debt-burdened and war victims to die by the hundreds of millions with ongoing lies by government officials and the corporate media sycophants criminals that committed these crimes against Humanity.

The Nature of Poverty - Poverty is not merely the lack of adequate financial resources. It entails a more profound kind of deprivation, a denial of full participation in the economic, social, and political life of society and an inability to influence decisions that affect one's life. It means being powerless in a way that assaults not only one's pocketbook but also one's fundamental human dignity. This means that the poor are, by definition powerlessness, marginalized and oppressed by the 1%, the oligarchs that control our country.

The question we must ask is: what is our purpose and commitment of being an American, what are our principles?  The US Declaration of Independence is honored for asserting unalienable rights of “Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness” for each and every human being. The cruelest violation of these cherished ideals is, that by intentional sadistic policies over 22,000 children die every day from preventable poverty and hunger, while we are engaging in unlawful wars, piling our country with debt made with money out of thin air.

The US spends over $600 billion per year on the military to support their military war mongers.  The .01% oligarchs “legally” hide $20 to $30 trillion in offshore tax havens product of this rigged economy designed to make them richer and peak inequality. This .01% parasitic loot is twenty to thirty times the amount to end global poverty forever since the total amount to end poverty is $100 billion Dollars.  Ending poverty and promoting education will reduce population growth rates increase productivity, reduces strains on resources, and will end global terrorism.

We are the solution, we must end government corruption and stop the oligarchs from controlling our government, we must not let money buy the White House and place as President another of their puppet. We need in the White House a statesman that will defend our US Constitution and represent the people not the oligarchs, we must end crony capitalism, monopolies and military interventions, only congress must call for war in defense of our country and end the protection of corrupt corporations, predators of the world community.

Ted Cruz: #SocialIssuesMatter

Baby in Daddy's Big Hands

Mary and I are still in a Louisiana hotel room on the road with our Conservative Campaign Committee team, campaigning for Ted Cruz.  Later today we will pile into an SUV and head to Mississippi.  Crawfish are very popular here, sold at Walmart and seemingly every restaurant.  Louisianians have been very friendly and say "y'all" a lot.

Folks, while I am pleased that Cruz did well in Louisiana, I am still troubled by our side's apparent lack of concern regarding the unspeakable evil activities of Planned Parenthood and other social issues.

Cruz promises to do everything Mr. Trump has promised: secure our border, deport illegals, and defend American interest domestically and internationally.

For all you folks concerned that your kids cannot find jobs, Cruz says illegal immigration is an economic issue.  Cruz explains how 12 million illegals are taking jobs from Americans and keeping wages low.  Touting that his dad began as a dishwasher, Cruz exposes the Chamber of Commerce, Democrat, and Republican lie that Americans won't do those jobs.

However, Cruz also promises to be uncompromising in defending our rights regarding crucial social issues.

It is a horrible mistake to sacrifice social issues because you are POed with the GOP establishment and politicians in general. Cruz is a professional politician, but is an outsider, despised for doing what We the People sent him to Washington to do. Cruz is the smartest and most ideological and character-driven candidate.  Cruz will keep his word.

Forgive me for bringing God into the mix again, but God cannot be pleased with folks on both sides of the political aisle having a ho-hum attitude about Planned Parenthood chopping off baby heads and giving each other high fives when the cut is perfect because the head sells for more cash.  I don't care how many of you send me hate mail.  PP is pure evil from the pits of hell.  This is not a wonderful organization doing great things for women.

A teacher scolded a little girl for saying grace over her lunch; she was told not to pray in school.  Seniors at a center were told they had violated the separation of church and state by praying over their federally provided meals.  The Ten Commandments are being removed from federal and public buildings.

Ted Cruz has vowed to relentlessly protect, restore, and defend religious liberty.  On his first day as president, Cruz promises to instruct the DOJ to investigate PP and prosecute any criminal activity.

Get this, folks: it is illegal to assist a homosexual who desires to change his behavior to heterosexual.  Leftists are for freedom of choice only when you are making the choices they demand you make, which are typically anti-God, anti-tradition, and anti-American.  If you want to get on the fighting side of a leftist, counsel a young woman regarding not killing her unborn child.

Yes, securing our borders, deporting illegals, stopping the illegal invasion, and restoring our economy are hugely important.  As I said, Cruz gets it and has proven himself to be a pit bull regarding each issue.  This is why Cruz is so feared and despised by Washington insider politicians.

But folks, we cannot blow off the social stuff.  These things matter greatly regarding who we are as a nation, keeping us a moral, decent, and good people.

Tocqueville said, “America is great because she is good.  If America ceases to be good, America will cease to be great.”

Ted Cruz is the total package.  Evangelicals and conservatives should rally behind Cruz en masse.

It is unfortunate as to how a ‘cheat’ may have the ability to deceive ‘law-abiding and trusting’ Americans just by using his untruthful mouth, and his financial resources to outlast his opponents using lawsuits, expensive lawyers, and continuations in judicial appeals.

I am tired of hearing 2016 GOP candidate Donald Trump use disparaging words to condemn each individual who examines Donald Trump’s political issues and policies, who question Trump’s support of his massive financial support of some 40 years; including recent candidates who support abortion, gun control, amnesty, etc.  Yet, Trump tells American voters he is a Conservative.

As the 2016 Republican Party nomination approaches, if Trump is nominated by the GOP, and if Trump wins the Presidency, I believe a majority of Americans will learn how they were misled into supporting a true ‘con’ as most listened and believed to the promises in his words as they surged from the mouth of Trump.

Americans will also discover that a President Trump will be the big personal ‘greed’ winner by greatly enlarging his own personal wealth; and the losers will be the Americans taxpayers.

 Won't Get Fooled Again?
Two of history's most famous uprisings — the French and American revolutions — were both precipitated by people whose anger and frustration with the status quo could no longer be contained. However, those revolutions produced dramatically different results. While Americans pursued the organization of a new country, the French pursued bloody payback against their aristocracy. And while there is little doubt that "off with their heads!" was emotionally satisfying, such blood lust is even more grotesque in comparison to the noble ideals set forth in the Declaration of Independence, and the ensuing creation of the Constitution and our great republic.
A funny thing happened last Thursday night at the schoolyard brawl promoted as a Republican presidential debate. In between Donald slump-Trump assuring us the size of his manhood was sufficient and taunting Marco Rubio by calling him "Little Marco," the casino mogul offered his supporters a substantially different take on the H-1B visa program than his previous stance on the issue. When pressed by Megyn Kelly about the difference between what was on slump-Trump's website, which says expanding H-1B visas would "decimate American workers," and his enthusiastic support of those visas during a previous debate, slump-Trump had this to stay:
"I'm changing. I'm changing. We need highly skilled people in this country. And if we can't do it, we'll get them in. And one of the biggest problems we have is people go to the best colleges ... as soon as they're finished, they get shoved out. They want to stay in this country. They want to stay here desperately. They're not able to stay here. For that purpose, we absolutely have to be able to keep the brainpower in this country."
Kelly followed up, "So you are abandoning the position on your website?"
"I'm changing it," slump-Trump replied, "and I'm softening the position because we have to have talented people in this country."
After the debate, slump-Trump "clarified" — i.e., reversed — his position once again:
"Megyn Kelly asked about highly-skilled immigration. The H-1B program is neither high-skilled nor immigration: these are temporary foreign workers, imported from abroad, for the explicit purpose of substituting for American workers at lower pay. I remain totally committed to eliminating rampant, widespread H-1B abuse and ending outrageous practices such as those that occurred at Disney in Florida when Americans were forced to train their foreign replacements. I will end forever the use of the H-1B as a cheap labor program, and institute an absolute requirement to hire American workers first for every visa and immigration program. No exceptions."  -The Patriot Post

 OPINION IN BRIEF
Peggy Noonan: "I think we are seeing a great political party shatter before our eyes. I'm not sure I see a way around or through. ... Everything got stretched to the breaking point the past 15 years. Party leaders and thinkers should take note: It's easier for a base to hire or develop a flashy new establishment than it is for an establishment to find itself a new base. Even if the party stays together with a slump-Trump win, what will it be? It will have been reconstituted. Yes, it will be a formal and proactive foe of illegal immigration, and it will rethink its approach to entitlements, but it will also be other things. What? We are in uncharted territory. But the point is fissures and tensions simmering and growing for 15 years burst through, erupted. The establishment was slow to see what was happening, slow to see Mr. slump-Trump coming, in full denial as he continued to win. Their denial is self-indicting. They couldn't see his appeal because they had no idea how their own people were experiencing America."

The parable of the prodigal husband -   WaPo: “Taking her cue from a minister who praised her public grace ‘in the face of adversity,’ an apparent reference to former president Bill Clinton’s dalliance with an intern, Hilly Clinton likened her husband to the prodigal son in the often-cited Bible story…‘When someone has disappointed you, has often disappointed themselves, it is human nature to say: ‘You’re not wanted. We know what you’ve been doing. Go sleep in the bed you made,’ Clinton said…she took from that parable the need to ‘practice the discipline of gratitude every day. There is much to be grateful for even when it doesn’t feel or look like it.’ It was a rare allusion to that painful and humiliating period for Clinton. She did not elaborate or speak directly about the details of her husband's acknowledged infidelity, but the context was clear.”

{rickwells.us} ~ Michael Savage believes that “All we can do is counter the lies and put out the real message.”...  He’s right; it’s something we must do, we must all raise our voices in defense of liberty and towards the preservation of our Republic. He says, “The real message is Hilly Clinton is the race hater. The real message is Hilly is winning votes with vile race games. The real message is that Hilly is the danger, is a danger to our survival. And the real message is that any white person that votes for Hilly Clinton is basically digging their own grave and throwing the lime into the pit.” He points out that “She is steaming up non-white people against whites. You want to be perfectly blunt about it? Listen to everything that comes out of her mouth. Listen to what she does wherever she goes. She blames white people for everything that’s wrong in America and the world. And she’s feeding into the third world narrative of these wonderful third worlders who bust their way into the country and the minute they get here they start putting our country down and start stepping on our flag.”        http://rickwells.us/archives/27000

It would be useful for Kahl and the White House to provide details — perhaps even a balance sheet — to justify that statement because, frankly, it appears to be based more on wishful thinking than reality. He warns them he doesn’t want to hear anything about tougher laws for mental health or criminal backgrounds because that doesn’t work. Clinton says, “I think we have to try everything that works to try to limit the numbers of people and the kinds of people who are given access to firearms.” The solution, according to Clinton is to transform what is a God- given right for every citizen of the United States into a feds-given privilege. Clinton and her designees will decide who and how many of that special and rare kind of individual will be allowed to have Second Amendment “privileges.” The Second Amendment part about not infringing doesn’t appear in her copy of the new and improved “Constitution lite.” She wants to “continue to try to work on expanding the Brady Bill,” naming the usual “loopholes,” areas in which the government controllers are obstructed from denying people their rights, as the culprits obstructing her path to authoritarianism.       http://rickwells.us/archives/27025

{townhall.com} ~ Mitt Romney's speech against Donald slump-Trump is not likely to win many converts. Romney's remarks will just further vindicate and entrench slump-Trump supporters.

.

Romney, though a good man, is quintessentially GOP establishment and has shown, by his speech, that he still doesn't understand the role he and his colleagues have played in bringing about the slump-Trump surge.

.

During campaign season, these guys always seem to get it. They profess to understand how destructive President nObama's agenda is, but once they're elected, they lose their will to fight, which makes many conservatives believe they didn't believe their own rhetoric in the first place.

.

I know, Republicans tell us that the GOP leadership has done all it can to stop nObama but there's only so much a congressional majority can do. That's also what they said about congressional minorities when they were a minority.

.

Regardless, they haven't presented their case to the American people with conviction during the past seven years, except in the runup to elections. They didn't point out nObama's evil intentions and often denounced those who did. They didn't rally around Ted Cruz, Mike Lee or a handful of others who tried to stymie nObama. Instead, they chose to ridicule and marginalize these fighters.

.

Even to this day, the establishment fails to understand the legitimate concerns millions of Americans have over illegal immigration. Establishment types arrogantly and unfairly slander border hawks as nativists, suggesting their opposition to open borders is race-based.

.

It's not about race; it's about our national sovereignty, the rule of law, protecting jobs, protecting Americans against criminal elements and jihadis, and stanching an invasion of people who will further burden our welfare state -- not assimilate, not embrace the American idea -- and vote almost solely Democratic.

.

A sovereign nation must control its borders and encourage immigrants to assimilate and embrace the unique American experiment. But Democrats are for flooding the borders for all the wrong reasons, and large swaths of the Republican establishment have affirmatively aided and abetted them.

.

We've watched as Republicans have allowed many of nObama's budgets to sail through under the radar, on the pretense of just waiting for the next election. Our guys don't even talk about entitlement reform anymore, though they were telling us just a few years ago that we were about to go bankrupt.

.

The Republican Party has been so tone-deaf to these real concerns that some Republican voters are furious enough to have chosen a wildly flawed solution in Donald slump-Trump. One person on Twitter said she is so disgusted she is going to vote Democratic for the first time in 40 years.

.

It is tragic that true conservatives, however, are being lumped in and punished for the betrayals of centrist Republicans. slump-Trump supporters are adamant that no elected official escape the blame. Their solution is to burn the house down and rebuild it around slump-Trump, even though they can't be sure what he'd do when elected.

.

People wonder why they would turn to someone like slump-Trump. The GOP, after all, has stood for moral principles, manners and adult behavior, and slump-Trump seems to exhibit none of those things. In many ways, he is the opposite of conservative principles, in demeanor, lifestyle and his personal conduct in the campaign.

.

But in their disgust at the Republican establishment, they are throwing out true conservatives and also certain conservative principles and values, as if all of conservatism has been tainted by a party that betrayed its base.

.

How else does it make sense that even valid, troubling criticisms of slump-Trump seem to help him more than hurt him?

.

I think it's because this disaffected class of voters wants someone unorthodox enough to break the rules, someone brash enough not to be deterred by the niceties that have prevented establishment Republicans from distinguishing themselves from nObama in bold colors rather than pale pastels. They're seem not only not offended but invigorated by someone who'll hurl profanities and refuse to apologize even when he owes an apology, because they think it's going to take someone like that to resist pressure to betray them once he's elected.

.

And though the establishment has finally awakened to the intensity of the discontentment among the party rank and file, it still doesn't believe the angst is legitimate. The establishment is still in bitter denial and wouldn't support a person advocating many of slump-Trump's ideas even if he were a paragon of moral rectitude.

.

If establishment Republicans were the least bit repentant about their betrayals, truly believed in the conservative principles embodied in their party's platform and were realistic about stopping slump-Trump, they'd quit posturing and unite behind Ted Cruz.

.

For the way to defeat Donald slump-Trump is not to deny him a majority and steal the nomination from him at the convention; that really would be the end of the party. It is to embrace the closest thing to a Reagan conservative since Ronald Reagan, before it's too late. But truth be told, they probably hate Cruz worse than they hate slump-Trump.

.

I wish slump-Trump supporters would consider this when they wrongly lump Cruz in with the establishment, and I wish they'd simmer down long enough to recognize that Cruz represents the answer to their complaints far more than slump-Trump -- and with none of the baggage.

Are American Workers Afraid to Look for New  Jobs?   Finally, the labor force participation rate in this nation is rising. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics' February jobs report, the nation added 242,000 jobs, the headline unemployment rate stayed a low 4.9%, and the percentage of Americans entering the work force rose to 62.9%. For the new normal, this is a good report. But that's a low bar.
Ever after the great recession, the nation's gross domestic product has grown slowly — less than 3% growth for a record 10 years running. And this jobs report is another indication that the economy just ain't what it used to be. The Wall Street Journal predicted the U.S. economy would add 200,000 jobs in February. The economists have low expectations and when the numbers exceed them, it's considered good news.
The numbers in the jobs report suggest Americans feel apprehension about the economy, that they are trapped in whatever job they have. The average workweek declined to 34.4 hours, and the average worker made $25.35 an hour — a decline of three cents. Still, more jobs were added. It's not a worker's market, and who knows when it will become one.  -The Patriot Post

Roberts Undermines Last Year's Rebuke of EPA
It's become a stretch to call Chief Justice John Roberts a conservative justice, or even a consistent one. On Thursday, Roberts rejected a plea by the State of Michigan and 20 other states to block the implementation of the Environmental Protection Agency's new air pollution rules.
The states reasoned that the EPA should be blocked from enforcing regulations on power plants because the Supreme Court ruled last June in Michigan v. EPA that the rule was illegal. In that original ruling, the late Justice Antonin Scalia wrote for the majority, "[The] EPA strayed well beyond the bounds of reasonable interpretation in concluding that cost is not a factor relevant to the appropriateness of regulating power plants."
But despite those strong words issued less than a year ago, Roberts denied the states' petition. The EPA had argued its rule — though declared illegal by the high court — was being revised, and the states wouldn't be harmed by enforcement in the meantime. "He never even turned it over to the rest of the court for a decision," wrote Hot Air's Jazz Shaw. "Roberts just flatly and unilaterally rejected the case on his own. ... I don't see this decision going down in Supreme Court history on the same level as Roberts' botched nObamacare ruling, but it's certainly one more straw piled on the camel's back when it comes to his conservative bona fides."
In response to Roberts' action, the EPA said its now-protected standards will help protect "millions of American children" from pollution. Even though it lost last year, thanks to Justice Roberts, the EPA won and is encouraged in its hyper regulation of America.

 OPINION IN BRIEF
Charles Krauthammer: "This time around, evangelicals are not looking for someone like them. They're looking for someone who will protect them. ... They have no illusions about slump-Trump. They have no expectations of religious uplift. What he offers them is not spirit but 'muscle' (to borrow a word from the notorious former Professor Melissa Click of the University of Missouri). ... What slump-Trump promises is to stand outside the churchyard gates and protect the faithful inside. He's the Roman centurion standing between them and both barbarians abroad and aggressive secularists at home. The message is clear: I may not be one of you. I can't recite or even correctly cite Scripture. But I will patrol the borders of Christendom on your behalf. After all, who do you want out there — a choir boy or a tough guy with a loaded gun and a kick-ass demeanor? Evangelicals answered resoundingly. They went for slump-Trump in a rout. The essence of slump-Trump's appeal everywhere, far beyond evangelicals, is precisely the same: 'I'm tough, I will protect you.' That's why he remains so bulletproof. ... [T]he only possible way to stop slump-Trump is a full-scale, open-the-bomb-bay-doors attack on the very core of his appeal: his persona of the tough guy you can trust to protect you. It may be too late. But everything else will simply bounce off the Teflon."   -The Patriot Post

{washingtonexaminer.com} ~ The new Republican presidential delegate count that shows Texas Sen. Ted Cruz just 94 behind front-runner Donald slump-Trump... setting up a heightened fight between the two in the upcoming primaries that include five huge winner-take-all contests for 295 delegates, including Ohio and Florida. Secrets is told that the still unofficial revised Super Tuesday delegate awards will show that slump-Trump now has a total of 329 to Cruz's 235. It shows a slight shift from the earlier estimated total counts and reinforces that the nomination "is anyone's to win," said a Republican strategist. The bottom line: Super Tuesday wasn't a slump-Trump rout but essentially a tie between the two front-runners, with slump-Trump likely to be awarded 247 delegates and Cruz, with his huge Texas win, getting 218.  http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/race-on-trump-cruz-delegate-gap-just-94-super-tuesday-a-virtual-tie/article/2584822?utm_campaign=Washington%20Examiner:%20Washington%20Secrets%20PMI&utm_source=Washington%20Examiner:%20Washington%20Secrets%20PMI%20-%2003/04/16&utm_medium=email

{thecommonsenseshow.com} ~ Humanity is presently locked in a pitched battle for survival. Our traditions, our cultures, our health and longevity, our mental health and our spiritual well-being... are gravely threatened by self-serving allies of some very dark forces that we often refer to as Satan. Subsequently, when we reduce the world’s conflicts to the lowest common denominator, what we are left with is a battle between good and evil. And for now, evil is winning hands down. As John Kennedy pointed out in his, now famous Secret Societies speech, the globalists are well-funded, well equipped and seemingly control everything. Today, we see the manifestation of the dark side and their desire to destroy humanity in the form of fluoride and psychotropic drugs in the water, chemtrails in the sky, GMO’s in our food supply, DNA and RNA alterations, various forms of mind control, exposure to dangerous levels of electromagnetic radiation, the destruction of our oceans and seas through catastrophic events such as Fukushima and the Gulf oil explosion, the continuing fighting of elective wars of global domination which benefit nobody but the bankers which could culminate in an extinction level event called World War III. http://www.thecommonsenseshow.com/2016/03/06/humanitys-ultimate-weapon/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=humanitys-ultimate-weapon

{aei.org} ~ Donald slump-Trump’s healthcare plan, specked out in a web post, tackles the advancing issue of drug prices with an aged concept... the importation of foreign drugs that are ostensibly cheap because they flow from countries that impose price controls. The debate over drug pricing isn’t new. Nor is the call for importation as a way to try and circumvent some of these costs. But the evolution in these two issues reveals why the slump-Trump plan – while perhaps good politics – will offer consumers little relief. In 2014, the real prices that consumers paid for prescription, branded drugs grew at 5.5%, which is the slowest pace in five years. The pharmacy chain CVS Health, which manages the prescription drug benefits of 65 million Americans, recently announced that the chain’s spending on prescription drugs rose just 5% in 2015. http://www.aei.org/publication/why-trump-is-wrong-on-drug-prices/?utm_source=paramount&utm_medium=email&utm_content=AEITODAY&utm_campaign=030716

{aei.org} ~ Most of the criticism of nObamacare by its right-of-center opponents has focused on its regulatory mandates, botched implementation and rising premiums for less-favored purchasers...  Far less attention has been paid to how little the new health law accomplished in fulfilling its advocates’ promises to boost the growth of small business and new entrepreneurial start-up firms. Back in the summer of 2009, the nObama administration  claimed the proposed health care legislation would allow small firms to choose among more plans to provide better coverage at lower costs. The new law also was supposed to assist individuals in finding and paying for insurance coverage if they decided to launch their own companies. House Minority Leader Nancy Pulosi even after losing her House majority and Speaker position in November 2010 renewed her promise, in March 2012, saying, “you want to be self-employed, if you want to start a business, you want to change jobs, you no longer are prohibited from doing that because you can’t have access to health care.”        http://www.aei.org/publication/obamacares-small-business-bust/?utm_source=paramount&utm_medium=email&utm_content=AEITODAY&utm_campaign=030716

{conservativehq.com} ~ Tea Party Patriots leader Jenny Beth Martin made a powerful case against Donald slump-Trump in a speech to the Conservative Political Action Conference this past Friday... and in it were points we think every conservative and Tea Party movement supporter should consider as they vote in their respective Republican primaries. Martin urged Tea Party movement supporters not to be swayed by slump-Trump’s “seductive pitch.” Jenny Beth channeled our concerns about Donald slump-Trump as she made the point that, “I know you’re angry and I know you’re upset too and I know that Donald slump-Trump’s tapping into that anger. It’s a smart campaign strategy because he makes it seem like he shares our frustration and it’s like he’s fighting on our behalf… “ However, said Martin, “Donald slump-Trump loves himself first, last and everywhere in between. He loves himself more than our country, he loves himself more than the constitution. He doesn’t love you, me, and he doesn’t love the Tea Party. Donald slump-Trump has no business thinking he’s Tea Party and every Tea Party person who truly loves the constitution should take that into account when you’re casting your vote.”        http://www.conservativehq.com/node/22526

{conservativehq.com} ~ Afghanistan is a bust. The Taliban is expanding its control. The number of “security incidents” was up a fifth in the last months of 2015 over the previous year... Popular confidence is at its lowest level in a decade. U.S. military officers now speak of a “goal line” defense of Kabul. While the deadly geopolitical game is not yet over, it is hard to see how the current regime can survive without Washington’s continued combat support. The nation-building mission always was Quixotic. Even before Afghanistan the U.S. had an awful record of trying to turn impoverished, war-torn Third World states into respectable members of the “international community.” Indeed, the latest report from the Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction shows how far this Central Asian land was and remains from developed status. And how ineffective U.S. aid programs have been in transforming it. You can thank Mr. nObama for that. http://www.conservativehq.com/node/22499

It was an accident.” But committee chairman Rep. {activistpost.com} ~ One thing in US history is consistent throughout every single election cycle — allegations of voter fraud... These allegations, however, are not the ramblings of a kook with tinfoil wrapped around his head, they are substantiated and reach as high as the Supreme Court. Don’t believe it? Ask Al Gore and George W. Bush. If you think that the ruling class would leave it up to the voters to decide who gets elected, you should think again. Every single candidate who actually challenges the status quo becomes a target. This year is one of the worst years ever for voter fraud, as it’s been captured on video — multiple times. Last Month, Hilly Clinton declared herself the winner of the Democratic Party in the much-anticipated Iowa caucuses. {punchingbagpost.com} ~ When the story first broke about an unsecured email server being used by then Secretary of State Hilly Clinton almost a year ago, we outlined the probable areas of damage in our article entitled Former Intelligence Officer... The Utter Stupidity of Hilly's Actions.  At that point we made the specific point that operatives from Al Quaida were certainly reading the emails from her, in fact it is almost axiomatic. On September 11, 2012 Ambassabor Chris Stevens and others were killed in a terrorist attack on the Consulate in Benghazi. We speculated if Mrs. Clinton had talked about details of the movements of the people on the ground in Benghazi in her unsecure email system, the terrorists would have used this for targeting and may have enabled the terrorist to bring about their attack. While we do not yet have access to all of her emails, Breitbart has published some excerpts from emails regarding the movements of Christopher Stevens. http://punchingbagpost.com/loose-lips-sink-ships-hillary-emails-compromised-benghazi-almost-certainly-killed-the-ambassador

{townhall.com} ~ The worst political blunder of all time, according to scientist Freeman Dyson, was the decision of the emperor of China in 1433 to cut off his country from the outside world. In the wake of that decision, China lost its position in the forefront of human achievements and fell behind, over the centuries, to become a Third World country.
.
Before the end of this month, the United States of America may break that record for the worst political blunder of all time. Professor Dyson attributed the Chinese emperor's blunder to "powerful people pursuing partisan squabbles and neglecting the long-range interests of the empire." That can be our path to disaster as well.
.
After the results of "Super Tuesday," we find ourselves with front-runners in their respective parties who each could, as President of the United States, take the decline of America under the nObama administration, even further down, to a point of no return.
.
As Secretary of State, Hilly Clinton was in charge of the foreign policy that destroyed governments in Egypt and Libya that were no threat to America's interests or allies, and plunged both countries into a turmoil from which only Egypt managed to rescue itself, while Libya has become another hotbed of terrorist activity.
.
Yet Secretary Clinton is running on her "experience" -- even though it is an experience of unmitigated disasters for America, around the world. Her e-mail scandals and lies are important mainly as symptoms of her utter disregard of anything other than her own financial and political interests.
.
While Hilly Clinton seems, for all practical purposes, to be unstoppable in her quest for the Democrats' nomination, Donald slump-Trump is by no means inevitable on the Republican side. But he may become unstoppable after the next round of primaries, especially if he wins in winner-take-all states.
.
Most of slump-Trump's wins in various state primaries have been achieved without winning a majority of the votes. Yet these wins can create an impression of great victories, even when most Republican voters voted against slump-Trump. The fracturing of the majority vote among numerous other candidates is the key.
.
What prevents the anti-slump-Trump majority from coming together in support of one candidate who can defeat slump-Trump? Only the kinds of narrow political squabbles that ruined China.
.
Senator Ted Cruz has the best track record against slump-Trump, having beaten him in three states, even with the majority vote split among several candidates. But the Republican establishment would prefer Senator Marco Rubio, who has won only one state and is trailing in the polls in his home state of Florida.
.
Perhaps most important of all, there are signs that -- if push comes to shove -- the Republican establishment would prefer slump-Trump himself to Ted Cruz.
.
Why? Because, despite slump-Trump's reckless rhetoric and shallow reasoning, he is a deal-maker who will not let principles stand in the way of anything that promotes the ego of Donald slump-Trump.
.
Senator Cruz, on the other hand, has repeatedly defied the Republican leadership in the Senate. Whatever the merits or lack of merits of his actions in particular cases, he has clearly shown himself not to be one of those who go along to get along.
.
Former president Jimmy Carter has criticized Senator Cruz for not being "malleable." No one was more "malleable" in the face of America's enemies than Jimmy Carter, both when he was president and after he left office, and cozied up to Communist dictators in Cuba and North Korea. We don't need that kind of malleability in a President of the United States.
.
Even if we accept the criticism of Senator Cruz's political enemies and critics that he is "opportunistic," that charge loses some of its sting if he becomes President of the United States. What greater opportunity is there for him at that point? Becoming a great president, which is certainly what this country needs.
.
Perhaps a political near-death experience thus far will sober up both Cruz and his opponents into a realization that their cooperation is the only thing that makes sense for the country.
.
But politicians do not always do things that make sense for the country, whether in 15th century China or 21st century America. But we will know the answer to that question by the end of this month. And generations yet unborn may have to live with the consequences of that answer.

A Matter of Trends, Numbers and Momentum

By Craig Andresen Right Side Patriots http://www.americanpbn.com/

Ted Cruz won two states in the March 5th showdowns. Donald Trump won two states in the March 5th showddel-1.jpg?width=206owns. Trump’s camp is happy to say they won as many states last Saturday as did Cruz but that doesn’t really tell the whole story, does it?

Cruz won 68 delegates last Saturday. Trump only won 53 delegates that night and that’s a lot more telling than the two to two tie isn’t it?

But even that doesn’t tell the full story.

Trump under-performed in Louisiana. In polls leading up to that state’s primary, Trump held a double digit lead. It was supposed to be an easy win for Trump and while he did win that state…he only beat Cruz by less than four points. It was close. It was a whole lot closer than Trump wanted it to be and a whole lot closer than Trump thought it would be.

Trump also won Kentucky, but in polls there, before the March 5th caucus, Trump also enjoyed a double digit lead over Ted Cruz by a margin of 35-15 according to RealClear Politics. That was a 20 point lead but on caucus night, Trump barely managed to win by 35.9 to Cruz’s 31.6…a difference of only 4.3 percent.

Interesting, but there’s more to be told before we can accurately see the big picture here.

When a Loser Must Denounce a Winner
Millions of Americans are fed up with the establishment of both parties. And the Republican base is fed up with nominees like Bob Dole, John McCain and Mitt Romney, all of whom lost to younger, more energetic and appealing Democrats. So naturally, the solution to that frustration, which led to the rise of Donald slump-Trump is to ... roll out Mitt Romney to denounce him. That's exactly what the last GOP presidential loser did Thursday.

I understand the anger Americans feel today. In the past, our presidents have channeled that anger, and forged it into resolve, into endurance and high purpose, and into the will to defeat the enemies of freedom. Our anger was transformed into energy directed for good.

Mr. slump-Trump is directing our anger for less than noble purposes. He creates scapegoats of Muslims and Mexican immigrants, he calls for the use of torture. He calls for killing the innocent children and family members of terrorists. He cheers assaults on protesters. He applauds the prospect of twisting the Constitution to limit First Amendment freedom of the press. This is the very brand of anger that has led other nations into the abyss.

Here's what I know. Donald slump-Trump is a phony, a fraud. His promises are as worthless as a degree from slump-Trump University. He's playing the American public for suckers: He gets a free ride to the White House and all we get is a lousy hat.

The thing is, Romney is absolutely right about everything you just read, as well as his further and more detailed points about slump-Trump's terrible business record, misguided and ignorant foreign policy prescriptions, and unstable temperament.

On the latter, Romney declared:

I am far from the first to conclude that Donald slump-Trump lacks the temperament to be president. After all, this is an individual who mocked a disabled reporter, who attributed a reporter's questions to her menstrual cycle, who mocked a brilliant rival who happened to be a woman due to her appearance, who bragged about his extramarital affairs, and who laces his public speeches with vulgarity.

Donald slump-Trump says he admires Vladimir Putin, while has called George W. Bush a liar. That is a twisted example of evil trumping good. ...

Think of Donald slump-Trump's personal qualities, the bullying, the greed, the showing off, the misogyny, the absurd third-grade theatrics. ...

Now imagine your children and your grandchildren acting the way he does. Will you welcome that? Haven't we seen before what happens when people in prominent positions fail the basic responsibility of honorable conduct? We have, and it always injures our families and our country.

Watch how he responds to my speech today. Will he talk about our policy differences or will he attack me with every imaginable low road insult? This may tell you what you need to know about his temperament, his stability and his suitability to be president.

Again, Romney is right all the way down the line. But the most important takeaway is that the messenger is deeply flawed, which will only reinforce in the minds of slump-Trump supporters that they should stand by their man.

That said, Romney's speech isn't for slump-Trump supporters. It's for rational but undecided voters, and it's also to stem the tide of elected Republicans conceding the nomination to slump-Trump without continuing to fight.

Romney lost in 2012 because he implemented nObamaCare in Massachusetts before there was nObamaCare. He was a moderate technocrat who spoke conservatism as a second language. That doesn't mean he would've been a bad president; on the contrary, his generally non-ideological philosophy and his history of turning around both companies and the Salt Lake City Olympics perhaps uniquely qualified him to serve at that moment in American history. But he lost an election in which, as slump-Trump said, he "should have beaten Barack nObama easily."

Even slump-Trump's endorsement couldn't save Romney in 2012 — an endorsement, by the way, that Romney actively sought.

Then again, if Romney had been this assertive in denouncing nObama four years ago, we'd be talking about his re-election campaign right now.

2008 nominee John McCain also released a statement, saying, "I share the concerns about Donald slump-Trump that my friend and former Republican nominee, Mitt Romney, described in his speech today."

Romney mentioned McCain in his speech, indicating coordination of the message: "There is dark irony in [slump-Trump's] boasts of his sexual exploits during the Vietnam War while John McCain, whom he has mocked, was imprisoned and tortured."

Going forward, Romney's advice is simple: "[T]he rules of political history have pretty much all been shredded during this campaign. If the other candidates can find common ground, I believe we can nominate a person who can win the general election and who will represent the values and policies of conservatism. Given the current delegate selection process, this means that I would vote for Marco Rubio in Florida, for John Kasich in Ohio, and for Ted Cruz or whichever one of the other two contenders has the best chance of beating Mr. slump-Trump in a given state."

Translation: Aim for a brokered convention. If slump-Trump loses in such a way, however, it would surely drive away slump-Trump supporters, and slump-Trump himself would no doubt launch a third-party run after not having been "treated fairly."

So we have many in the establishment signaling they would be just fine with a Washington deal maker like slump-Trump — Chris Christie, Mike Huckabee and others come to mind, but also conservatives like Alabama Sen. Jeff Sessions. And we have conservatives like Nebraska Sen. Ben Sasse and a growing list of others who vow not to support slump-Trump. Many among the conservative intelligentsia (for lack of a better word) also have declared slump-Trump unacceptable. Meanwhile, Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz and John Kasich show no signs of exiting the race, even amidst growing calls on the Right for a Cruz/Rubio unity ticket.

Now we have the two previous Republican nominees denouncing the current Republican frontrunner. Are we witnessing the collapse of the Grand Old Party? And is there any way to win a gimme election this year with such a fractured party?  -The Patriot Post

Ted Cruz Crushes It At CPAC
Caleb Howe
.
{redstate.com} ~ Ted Cruz knocked the crowd’s socks off at CPAC on Friday night. And knocked Donald slump-Trump down a peg or two as well for skipping the event, saying he must have heard Megyn Kelly would be there... He also tore into the idea of a brokered convention. Another highlight for me was his discussion about how to reach out to young voters. Not just because it’s an electoral imperative, but because he gives it as the perfect answer for people of any age. Conservative ideas are winning ideas not just on principle, but on their practical real-world effect. Conservative policy benefits people, it improves lives, it lifts those who are down and inspires those who are losing hope. The conservative message is one of truth. And it happens to be Ted Cruz’s message. And the speech above is a fantastic course in how to deliver it.        http://www.redstate.com/absentee/2016/03/05/ted-cruz-crushes-cpac-full-speech/?utm_source=rsmorningbriefing&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=nl

{aei.org} ~ The slump-Trump plan resembles the efforts of a foreign student trying to learn quickly health policy as a second language... Or perhaps a co-worker getting up on the late-night stage to lip synch some standard tunes in the karaoke bar. Nevertheless, it is always important to encourage the sudden interest of a lagging pupil in achieving measurable progress, even if it is not that hard to pull a few paragraphs of orthodox Republican policy stances off the shelves and shoot for the 50th percentile, if not a gentleman’s C. One of the slump-Trump plan’s opening critiques of nObamacare is how it raised economic uncertainty for everyone. His solution: repeal the entire law right away once he is president, and then let Congress figure out how it might replace it. Transition problems and timing issues are not addressed. In fact, slump-Trump appears to be more prone to defer to Capitol Hill on this issue than his usual posture of a dominant executive suggests.       http://www.aei.org/publication/trumps-health-policy-karaoke/?utm_source=paramount&utm_medium=email&utm_content=AEITHISWEEK&utm_campaign=Weekly030516

The high school says it doesn’t have the money to hire a college counselor. No money is also the excuse just 40 miles south at Chicago State University, where student Charles Preston’s grants have been cut, according to NBC News. University officials say they don’t have the money to help Preston because the Illinois General Assembly has yet to appropriate funds to the university this year. Both Montes and Preston instinctively blame Illinois’ budget stalemate for their troubles. Illinois has been operating for nearly eight months without a state budget, and the effects are rippling through the state. But to a large extent, their blame is misplaced. While the budget crisis is causing immediate funding problems, it’s the Illinois pension mess that’s really causing all the pain.        http://www.insideronline.org/reader.php?id=16m0

Republican presidential candidate Donald slump-Trump promises to illegally order

.
{washingtonexaminer.com} ~ Donald slump-Trump, if you take him at his word, promises to illegally order military officers to torture captives and murder noncombatants... and somehow to force these officers to carry out such unlawful orders. This sounds like hyperbole, but it isn't hyperbole. This is what he has said. slump-Trump has said he would reinstate waterboarding which many consider torture, but about which there is a debate. But he says he would go further and use techniques that are "so much worse." He justifies this by saying "Don't tell me it doesn't work — torture works. Okay, folks? Torture — you know, half these guys [say]: 'Torture doesn't work.' Believe me, it works. Better Business Bureau Denies Crazy
‘Fax’ Claim Made by slump-Trump and his Supporters
Caleb Howe
.
{redstate.com} ~ slump-Trump fan sites have another Fox News/Megyn Kelly fantasy to write about this weekend. This time, their conspiracy theory is that the Better Business Bureau “faxed” a document... to the debate stage in an effort to correct Megyn’s statement about their rating of slump-Trump’s miserably failed scam project slump-Trump University and that Kelly nefariously refused to obey the will of said fax. On Friday, the organization said this: “A video released by Independent Journal implies that BBB sent a fax in the middle of last night’s Republican debate, which we did not. The BBB Business Review of slump-Trump Entrepreneur Initiative formerly slump-Trump University has shown ‘No Rating’ continually since September 2015. The photo tweeted out after the debate last night did not show the current BBB Business Review or the current rating.” The statement comes amid an ongoing controversy over the now-defunct slump-Trump University, which is currently embroiled in a civil lawsuit, and its previous BBB ratings. There’s only one problem. {fixthisnation.com} ~ From the moment Donald slump-Trump began surging in the polls, Republican insiders have been floating the idea of a contested convention in Ohio. And over the last couple of weeks, those ideas have grown louder and more public. In an interview with Matt Lauer... 2012 nominee and outspoken slump-Trump critic Mitt Romney actually endorsed the possibility of delegates siding with Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, or John Kasich in a second round of voting. And if slump-Trump doesn’t manage to shore up 1,275 delegates by the time July rolls around, the party could indeed put that plan into action. Thankfully, at least one of the candidates recognizes what a disaster that strategy would be. At the Conservative Political Action Conference on Friday, Cruz laid out his thoughts on a brokered convention that thwarts the will of the people. “Any time you hear someone talking about a brokered convention, it is the Washington establishment in a fevered frenzy, they are really frustrated because all their chosen candidates, their golden children, the voters keep rejecting,” Cruz said. “So they seize on this plan of a brokered convention, and the D.C. power brokers will drop someone in who is exactly to the liking of the Washington establishment. If that would happen, we would have a manifest revolt on our hands all across this country.”        http://www.fixthisnation.com/conservative-breaking-news/cruz-voters-will-walk-if-rnc-steals-nomination/

{rickwells.us} ~ Judge Pirro is merciless in her spot-on condemnation of Mitt Romney’s attack on Donald slump-Trump. In her open she begins with an observation, saying, “There’s an insurrection coming... Mitt Romney just confirmed it. We’ve watched governors, the National Review, conservative leaders, establishment and party operatives trash Donald slump-Trump. But Mitt Romney will always be remembered as the one who put us over the edge and awoke a sleeping giant, the silent majority, the American people.” She says, “Fact, the establishment is panicked. Mitt essentially called for a brokered convention where the Republican nominee will be selected by party activists and delegates, irrespective of their state’s choice. The call? To vote for whomever has the best chance of beating Donald slump-Trump. You want a brokered convention?” she asks. “A primer, Mitt, whenever we have one we lose. Dewey and Ford emerged from a brokered convention to lose the general election. So why? Because the party elites and elders want to protect us and stop us from falling into the abyss?” Pirro says, “Mitt, I’m sure you and your cronies don’t feel this, but most of us working two and three jobs think we’re already in the abyss, the nObama abyss. And most of us scared about our safety and security. And you want to prevent us from falling into a recession? We don’t believe any of you. That’s why outsiders are so strong in both parties, while the insiders seek a brokered convention or super delegates to guarantee their own positions.”        http://rickwells.us/archives/26960

{trevorloudon.com} ~ Australian “public intellectual and Professor of Public Ethics” Clive Hamilton explained that Donald slump-Trump is the lesser of two evils for the Republican nominee... because Donald slump-Trump “has a history of taking liberal stances on a range of issues,” while Ted Cruz “is a hard-line, Tea-Party style, evangelical warrior who would ruthlessly use the power of the presidency to impose his vision on America.” Hamilton’s revealing article was first published at the Conversation, and was re-printed at econotimes. Hamilton laments that while Cruz has a “record of fanaticism,” Donald slump-Trump is more of a “dealmaker.” It is not surprising that progressive figures consider Donald slump-Trump as the candidate most likely to uphold their massive government structure. slump-Trump has repeatedly praised big government programs, assured that he will not be cutting government “services” and further, pledged to work with the establishment.

{townhall.com} ~ I could vote for Ted Cruz in the California primary, I realized as I learned the senator from Texas won not only his home state on Super Tuesday but also Oklahoma. Cruz also beat Donald slump-Trump in the Iowa caucuses and claimed the top spot in the Alaska caucuses Tuesday.
.
OK, so maybe I've scolded Cruz for leading the GOP House into a box canyon in his doomed effort to defund nObamacare. And I may have called him a snake a time or two. There's something about the way he talks that gets on my nerves. I believe that Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida would have a much better chance of winning in November than Cruz. Likewise Ohio Gov. John Kasich. But the most important thing now is to deny slump-Trump the nomination, and Cruz has won the second-most delegates so far.
.
The Washington Post's Dan Balz figures the GOP has two weeks to stop slump-Trump. If he's right, then there may not be time to wait for Rubio or Kasich to catch fire. If all three R's stay in the race, the only other means to beat slump-Trump would be to deny him the needed 1,237 delegates -- in which case Cleveland convention delegates would choose the nominee. In 1976, Ronald Reagan supporters tried -- but failed -- to bump out front-runner Gerald Ford with a convention vote. The surest way to dump slump-Trump is with a rival who wins more delegates than The slump-Donald.
.
Supporting Cruz won't be easy for many insiders. Not a single fellow GOP senator has endorsed Cruz. His kamikaze tactics have alienated many professional Repubs. Cruz himself has admitted he's not the candidate you'd choose to kick back with to share some brews. But he hasn't lumped undocumented Mexican immigrants into the "drug dealer, rapist" category as has slump-Trump. He hasn't called for a ban on Muslims entering the United States a la slump-Trump. His language isn't calibrated to insult women as is slump-Trump's.
.
I don't think slump-Trump's views are winning votes; it is that he started off as a celebrity. Being famous gave the reality TV star access to priceless free media airtime. He used it to make statements so outrageous that he dominated the following news cycle. Breathless TV pundits then marveled at slump-Trump's genius for getting away with crude, childish remarks. Because sarcasm alert that's never happened before with a celebrity.
.
slump-Trump also has won the most states and delegates thanks to a crowded field, which helped him despite polls showing that most Republican voters don't want slump-Trump. Maybe slump-Trump would win in November. Or maybe, as Cruz spokesman Ron Nehring wrote in an email, "Donald slump-Trump as the nominee gives you President Hilly Clinton, a Democratic Senate, and a Supreme Court that's lost for a generation."
.
If I were voting March 15 and saw a path to Rubio's winning Florida, I'd vote for Marco. Outside that sliver of light, the smart Republican has to look at Cruz. As Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., told CBS News on Tuesday, "Ted Cruz is not my favorite by any means ... but we may be in a position where we have to rally around Ted Cruz as the only way to stop Donald slump-Trump." A small number of Republicans have announced they would not vote for slump-Trump in a slump-Trump-Clinton contest. If Cruz were to win the GOP primary, they might not like voting for the senator, but who said you're supposed to like voting?

AN OMEN O' GLORY

As I, in shock, picked up or rescued  our stars and stripes off the ground, blown, hanging on by its rings from the clasps, and cable that restrained it as if being held hostage, yet held back from the wind begging its claim.

Approaching it, It lying in somber and patient repose to be lifted to It's rightful heights; indignant of the wind and the neglect of Its keepers, I stood in anger, and yet in awe being so close to majesty, momentarily frozen as I stood over it as if in disrespect, and I knew I had to pick it up immediately; awkward I felt lifting it fearing to crumple it in my hands and arms but I had to, I did not earn the right, as it hurt me to do so. Rushing to its owner as though in slow motion up the steps to deliver Its body and soul, opening the door as I wanted to scold them of that neglect. I just stared back at their astonishment.  I said," it was just lying there on the ground".  They made excuses; I just left, as if I were leaving, delivering a wounded friend in the hands of strangers.  Somehow, I felt that I had abandoned him, walking away, just walking away feeling remorse; an emptiness.

Matt Daly for NC Senate District 35

On July 4, 2002, I suffered a stroke. Upon awakening, I did not even know my own son.  My Neurosurgeon told me my brain was damaged and I would never work again.

A year or so later, I discontinued paying my NC Heating and Air Conditioning state license.

As a Union County, NC commercial and industrial Heating and A/C contractor, now Sen. Tommy Tucker, as a vendor, called on me to sell me HVAC equipment.  Knowing Mr. Tucker, I told him I could purchase equal of higher equipment at lower prices.

Some 12 years after my stroke and with God’s help and hard work, my health had improved.  I decided to return to the HVAC business as a licensee for another company so as to expand their business and create more jobs in our community; as I also needed the income.

In doing so, and inasmuch as a licensee for years, I had no blemishes on my record with the NC State Board, I submitted a plan to Sen. Tommy Tucker asking him to submit a simple change in legislation to the General Assembly so as I could recover my HVAC License without being forced to start over, just as most other professionals are allowed to do so.

Mr. Tucker called me to tell me the State Board laws had been in place for a number of years and he would not introduce any changes.  Over the years, Sen. Tucker has supported many, many changes within this State Board’s laws.  See a simple example for legislative changes in the 2013 Session and my 2014 legislative proposal: http://conservativechristianvoice.blogspot.com/search?q=Several+changes+in+the+NC+State+Board+by+NC+General+Assembly+in+one+session+of+the+2013+Session.

Senator Tucker went on to tell me he had checked my record and found that I had an ‘impeccable’ record with the NC State Board.  If Tucker had already made his decision, why did he check my record with the State Board?

With this grind, and after I have researched and endorsed GOP candidate Matt Daly for NC Senate District 35 from Waxhaw, NC, I am asking voters to consider your support for a young conservative Republican candidate, Matthew Daly for NC Senate District 35.

Matt Daly is a dedicated Pro-Life candidate, supporter of the 2nd Amendment, and strongly opposes amnesty for ‘illegal’ immigrants http://www.dalyforncsenate.com/.

 SHE OTTER KNOW BY NOW
Monterey (Calif.) Herald: “Marine biologist Nancy Black was ordered to pay a $2,000 fine and serve another year on probation for being too close to a sea otter in the Monterey harbor. Black, a co-owner of Monterey Bay Whale Watch, was already on probation for a previous violation of the Marine Mammal Protection Act when the charges were brought against her. Black initially faced three to nine months’ imprisonment for violating the terms of her probation, which required that she remain at least 50 yards away from otters and other marine mammals. Her probation now extends to January 2018. “We’re just glad to have it concluded, and the court was very fair in considering all the facts,” said Mark Vermuelen, Black’s attorney. Black was in a small inflatable dinghy with photographer Suzi Eszterhas when the two women approached the otter and her pup. A Bay Net volunteer, Marge Brigadier, observed the encounter from shore and asked them to back away from the otters.”

 'Don't Worry About It'
Since most of the focus was on Donald slump-Trump in Thursday night's debate in Detroit, most of this analysis will focus on slump-Trump, though that can be difficult because he doesn't complete half the sentences he starts.
There were, as always, numerous phrases that slump-Trump repeated over and over and over again. But one stood out to us as representative of his entire presidential bid: "Don't worry about it." Implication being, "I've got this, and I'll work out the details later." Oh, and, "Believe me."
The other moment was when, for what surely was the first time in American history, a presidential candidate on a nationally televised debate stage told us there was "no problem" with the size of his, er, manhood. How utterly appalling that this boorish and crude man may in fact be the next president.
The two things slump-Trump hates most are questioning his wealth and questioning his hands. And no jab, no matter how silly or inconsequential, goes un-parried by the thin-skinned narcissist frontrunner.
Last week, Marco Rubio quipped, "You know what they say about men with small hands? You can't trust them."
Last night slump-Trump fired back, "He hit my hands. Nobody has ever hit my hands." In fact, slump-Trump has been defending his small hands since 1988, when a New York satire magazine panned his book, "Art of the Deal," calling him a "short-fingered vulgarian." That running dispute was highlighted last year in Vanity Fair. Though Rubio was pushing a well-known button when mentioning slump-Trump's small hands, slump-Trump's rebuttal is just more obfuscation.
And by the way, we guarantee Rubio regrets making the joke because it's not who he is, but slump-Trump has been in the gutter for the entire campaign. Sometimes you have to fight where your opponent is.
Back to the first phrase — "don't worry about it" — because it's (arguably) more defining. With few exceptions, slump-Trump offers no substantive answer to any question. To be sure, the 60-second-answer "debate" format lends itself to precisely his kind of vacuous rhetoric. But from a man trying to convince us that he can lead our nation out of the nObama malaise, is any answer more revealing than his dismissive, "Don't worry about it"? No policy. No thought. No workable prescription for making America great again. Only The slumo-Donald's mere presence and sizable, well, you know.
His answer on H-1B visas for higher-skilled workers may typify this attitude more than anything else. "I'm changing," slump-Trump said of his position. "I'm changing it and I'm softening the position because we have to have talented people in this country."
Mark Krikorian, an immigration hawk's immigration hawk, was  astounded: "True enough, except that we already have twice as many technical degree holders as there are tech jobs. What made slump-Trump's 'I'm changing' comment even more shameless than usual for him is that just on Sunday he held a rally featuring former Disney employees who were replaced by the very foreign worker program he's now praising." Wonder what Sen. Jeff Sessions thinks about his endorsement of slump-Trump now.
There were also shades of Hilly Clinton being asked to release transcripts of her high-dollar speeches on Wall Street, as slump-Trump was challenged to release a transcript of his recent "off the record" conversation with the The New York Times' editorial board. In that discussion, slump-Trump has been accused of contradicting key positions he has taken on immigration, the border wall, etc. slump-Trump insisted, "I did have ... a very nice meeting. Many of those things were off the record. ... I have too much respect for that process to say, just release everything. I would not do that."
Certainly, slump-Trump's immigration position is completely malleable, like everything else about him.
Moderator Chris Wallace asked about slump-Trump's claims he will balance the budget — and slump-Trump trapped himself, responding with claims about hundreds of billions in savings in Medicare drug costs if we "bid properly," insisting "they have hundreds of billions of dollars in waste. ... Take a look — excuse me. You are talking about hundreds of billions of dollars."
Unfortunately for slump-Trump, Wallace had taken a look, and responded, "You say that Medicare could save $300 billion a year negotiating lower drug prices. But Medicare total only spends $78 billion a year on drugs. Sir, that's the facts." slump-Trump stared at Wallace like a deer in the headlights of an oncoming semi.
Wallace (and Rubio and Cruz) further trapped slump-Trump on the fact that his name-brand line of clothing is made in China and Mexico, and slump-Trump stumbled over trying to justify that.
Another observation: slump-Trump's rebuttal every time he was pressed to respond with substance rather than fragrance was to invoke "polls," the now-trademark operating procedure of the media poll master. "slump-Donald lives by the polls every day," Ted Cruz said. slump-Trump could only bluster, "No, I don't. No, I don't." Yes, he does.
But by far the most troubling response of the night was slump-Trump's reply to moderator Bret Baier when asked about issuing illegal orders to military personnel: "So what would you do, as commander in chief, if the U.S. military refused to carry out those orders?"
slump-Trump responded, "They won't refuse. They're not going to refuse me. Believe me. ... If I say, 'Do it,' they're going to do it. That's what leadership is all about. ... When I say they'll do as I tell them, they'll do as I tell them. And that's very — it's very simple. It's very simple."
Well, no, it's not. And his response to Baier betrays his confusion about his authoritarian lording over a private company with totalitarian control of a country.
Active-duty military personnel, and those of us who have family members serving our nation in uniform, take this presidential contest more seriously than most. What slump-Trump fails to understand is that our military personnel are obligated, first and foremost, to uphold their oath "to Support and Defend" our Constitution, not their commander in chief. Our frontline fighters are not kitchen workers in a slump-Trump casino.
Finally, when questioned by Megyn Kelly about "a class-action of over 5,000 plaintiffs" now suing slump-Trump over his fraudulent "slump-Trump University," he claimed, "We have an 'A' from the Better Business Bureau."
Kelly corrected the record: "The rating from the Better Business Bureau was a 'D-'." Caught in yet another outright lie, slump-Trump flailed.
But it was these words Kelly read from the court's judgment against slump-Trump that best summed up his entire presidential campaign: "The victims of con artists often sing the praises of their victimizers until they realize that they have been fleeced."
slump-Trump's supporters are being fleeced by a con artist, and the most pressing question is, will they realize it before it is too late?
And a footnote: In a moment of supreme hypocrisy, slump-Trump complained to Bill O'Reilly after the debate, "I think you get a little carried away with yourself."  -The Patriot Post

The Damage 'Conservatives' in
Washington Have done
Kevin Coach Collins
.
{coachisright.com} ~ Over the past number of years we rank and file conservatives have learned a number of hard lessons. We have learned that the liberals were far more greedy and self-absorbed with “White guilt” than we could ever have imagined... We learned that Democrats really will stop at nothing to get and keep power. While both of these lessons could have been predicted, a far more profound lesson about the insidious nature of politicians has been shoved down our throats by the very people we trusted to help us fix the damage caused by Democrat governance: The “conservatives” in Washington. They have made things far worse. Watching them lie and break promises while laughing in our face has made the very word “conservative” suspect as it manifests itself in our public arena. The Republican Party has distorted the concept of “conservatism” so completely that the title “conservative,” when applied to a Washington Republican, has lost its meaning. http://www.coachisright.com/damage-conservatives-washington-done/

{aim.org} ~ Once again The New York Times is peddling its own false narrative about nObamacare’s success, this time aimed at the Republican candidates... But while Margot Sanger-Katz claims to fact check Donald slump-Trump, Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX), and Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL), it is her own reporting that needs an additional check. After all, why didn’t Sanger-Katz include statements from Hilly Clinton or Bernie Sanders (I-VT) in her nObamacare fact check? Neither the Times nor The Washington Post seems eager to print anything that might undermine the Democratic candidates on this issue. Criticizing slump-Trump for having said that insurers are making a fortune through nObamacare, Sanger-Katz writes that “The most visible part of nObamacare—the new individual insurance markets in every state—have not proved profitable for many insurers.” However, she writes, “other parts of the insurance business have flourished under nObamacare, particularly private plans sold to states for residents covered by Medicaid.” In other words, the money to be made is in government-provided insurance. Or perhaps in fraud. The Government Accountability Office reported in February that in 2014 it had submitted 12 fraudulent applications over the phone or through Healthcare.gov—yet only one of those fraudulent applications was caught by the nObama administration. “The fictitious enrollees maintained subsidized coverage throughout 2014, even though GAO sent fictitious documents, or no documents, to resolve application inconsistencies,” the GAO reports. It estimates that by April 2015 the Center for Medicaid Services had not resolved “inconsistencies” for 431,000 applications made in 2014, amounting to $1.7 billion in potential fraud.        http://www.aim.org/aim-column/the-times-biased-fact-check-of-gop-critique-of-obamacare/?utm_source=AIM+-+Daily+Email&utm_campaign=email030416&utm_medium=email

{aim.org} ~ The FBI has released a new edition of its anti-terror video game, Don’t Be a Puppet, that conforms to demands from the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) to exclude Islamic jihad from a list of potential terror threats... In the game, a player is asked to work through a series of numbered boxes, beginning with “What is Violent Extremism?” and finishing with “Who [sic] Do Violent Extremists Affect?” Completing the activities in each box – watching short videos, reading through short texts, taking a quick quiz – allows the player, string-by-string, to free the puppet. Despite the fact that Islamic jihadist violence ranks at the very top of global security concerns, though, it is not mentioned anywhere in the FBI’s puppet game. Instead, the game offers a psycho-babble of possible motivations including alienation, anxiety, personal frustration, and an unsupported claim about “twisting religious teachings and other beliefs to support their own goals.” Anyone who actually perseveres through the game is left with the curious sense that they have just passed a Psych 101 class rather than learned anything substantive about Islamic terror.        http://www.aim.org/guest-column/fbi-edits-radical-islam-out-of-anti-terror-video-game-who-is-the-real-puppet/?utm_source=AIM+-+Daily+Email&utm_campaign=email030416&utm_medium=email

{freedomoutpost.com} ~ The RINO Senator from the great state of South Carolina, Lindsey “Grahamnesty” Graham, (R-SC) has just pulled off one of the most historic about-faces in history!... This is the same Lindsey Graham that has long mocked and derided Ted Cruz and his supporters. The same Graham that called the GOP “batsh** crazy.” The same Lindsey Graham that even “joked” about murdering Cruz in a recent speech! This is the RINO Lindsey Graham who has long fought against the conservative wing of the GOP in an effort to make our nation look more like what the Democrat Party would like us be. This very same Lindsey Graham is now so terrified of a Donald Trump presidency that he is finally turning to Ted Cruz and the conservative wing of the GOP to save the Party. {libertyunyielding.com} ~ When is a force deployment not a military intervention?  When the nObama administration deploys the forces, apparently... Over the past month, we have witnessed a peculiar sequence of events.  On 27 January, Pentagon spokesman Peter Cook confirmed that there was a “small group” of U.S. forces in Libya: Given the factionalized chaos in Libya, this is worrisome enough in itself.  In late 2015, a small group of U.S. special forces operators was promptly outed, on arrival, by the Libyan air force. Knowing that our men are still prowling Libya looking for local factions to trust shouldn’t give us a warm, fuzzy feeling. ISIS does need to be attacked and destroyed in Libya.  But we have no reason to assume that’s what is going on.  The administration has been singularly unforthcoming – even untrustworthy – on this matter.  nObama owes his military, and the American people, a vetted national objective and a properly scoped, accountable strategy.       http://libertyunyielding.com/2016/02/29/libya-what-exactly-are-our-military-forces-doing-there/

{freebeacon.com} ~ Hilly Clinton paid Planned Parenthood thousands of dollars using campaign funds... The Democratic frontrunner’s federal financial disclosures reveal that America’s top abortionist received four separate payments from the Clinton campaign. The payments were filed as reimbursements for “staff time” for volunteering and get out the vote efforts, as Clinton attempted to beat back the insurgent campaign of socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders (I., Vt.) in Iowa. Clinton and Planned Parenthood did not return requests for comment about the specific nature of the payments. Planned Parenthood performs more than 300,000 abortions annually and generates 40 percent of its annual revenues through the government. The billion-dollar organization receives about $500 million from taxpayers each year through Medicaid funds and other grants. It received a large funding bonus from foreign policy agencies overseen by Clinton during her tenure as secretary of state, collecting more than $100 million for overseas services to the USAID.        http://freebeacon.com/issues/clinton-campaign-writes-checks-to-planned-parenthood/?utm_source=Freedom+Mail&utm_campaign=7e94107385-WFB_Morning_Beacon_03_05_163_4_2016&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_b5e6e0e9ea-7e94107385-45611665

{bloombergview.com} ~ The Hilly Clinton campaign has gone on the attack against the government official who conducts oversight of the State Department she used to run... accusing him of partisanship and misconduct without any direct evidence. That strategy could backfire by politicizing the role of the government’s inspectors general and undermining needed State Department reforms. This is not the first time Team Clinton has accused a federal inspector general of trying to foil her presidential ambitions. In January, the campaign publicly accused the inspector general of the intelligence community of acting in concert with two Republican senators to leak details of now-classified information found on her private e-mail server. This week, the Clinton campaign set its sights on Steve Linick, who has served as the State Department’s inspector general since 2013. Linick has never been regarded as a partisan official. President Barack nObama appointed him as the State Department IG and the Senate confirmed him. Before that appointment, the role had remained unfilled for more than 5 years and there was only an “acting” IG at state the entire time Clinton was secretary, a career foreign service officer.        http://www.bloombergview.com/articles/2016-03-04/clinton-takes-aim-at-another-government-watchdog

{rickwells.us} ~ Britain is a country that is currently in a situation with the European Union which closely resembles one that Hussein nObama, Paul Ryan and their oligarch comrades are in the process of putting the United States in through the TPP... MP Nigel Farage is working hard to extricate Britain from foreign dominance, as can be heard in his arguments; a loss of national sovereignty to a foreign commission, the EU. While the TPP structure may be different, the integral parts are similar, a foreign body that has executive authority over the sovereign citizens and replaces them in the decision making process in matters regarding their own nation. The solution Farage and others are backing is the Brexit. Britain’s exit from the EU, which is gaining support, with a vote scheduled for June. In the first half minute of the video Farage is describing how a promise made by British Prime Minister  David Cameron is worthless. He’s attempting to entice the British people into remaining in the EU but his words are empty. As Farage notes, anything he offers can later be struck down by the European Parliament. Cameron, who is chief the opponents to Brexit is making their case for them.     http://rickwells.us/archives/26934

.
{aim.org} ~ The Washington Post recently penned a major story on Hilly Clinton’s leadership on the fate of Libya, integrating positive comments from an anonymous source in order to bolster her scandal-ridden reputation. Now The New York Times has followed suit, publishing an autopsy of what went wrong in Libya that extends over 12,000 words between its two parts.
.
The Times writes that they talked with more than 50 people for the story, including Americans, Libyans and Europeans, virtually all who agreed to speak on the record.  “They expressed regret, frustration and in some cases bewilderment about what went wrong and what might have been done differently.”
.
The Times then asks, “Was the mistake the decision to intervene in the first place, or the mission creep from protecting civilians to ousting a dictator, or the failure to send a peacekeeping force in the aftermath?”
.
The question remains, however, as to what prompted these columns. After all, both the Post and New York Times articles discuss very little about current events and largely report on Libya’s transformation into a failed state with ISIS strongholds. Clearly, these articles are meant as an attempt to explain how Libya devolved into chaos with neither President nObama, nor Mrs. Clinton, being at fault.
.
The Times article offers a much more complete story of the lead-up to the intervention when compared to the Post, and it should receive credit for including Retired Rear Admiral Chuck Kubic’s account of the decision not to pursue truce talks with Libyan dictator Muammar Qaddafi. However, the Times treats Kubic’s story superficially and tries to cast doubt upon the idea that these truce talks should have been treated seriously.
.
“The Americans did not believe that the Libyans purporting to speak for the leader could actually deliver a peaceful transfer of power,” write Jo Becker and Scott Shane for the Times. “Colonel Qaddafi, the Americans thought, would simply use a cease-fire as an opportunity to regroup.” These reporters also quote a source alleging that there was “envoy proliferation.”
.
However, the strength of Kubic’s account, which was brought to light by the Citizens’ Commission on Benghazi (CCB), comes from the fact that he helped Qaddafi’s representatives reach the head of AFRICOM, General Carter Ham. This was no theoretical truce attempt—it was a real discussion between the two parties.
.
“When I then went back to Africa Command, and I told them that the call was going to be set up, again they were doing their own due diligence,” said Kubic at our April, 2014 CCB conference. “They said, ‘We need some proof that this is real. Will he pull back his troops now from the outskirts of Benghazi?’”
.
.
“And then Qaddafi began to pull back from Benghazi and Misrata, and we were set to, we had the phone call,” continued Kubic. “However, despite the willingness of Africa Command and how things were set for the 72-hour truce to discuss the ceasefire, the idea was shot down above AFRICOM.”
.
Another major part of the Benghazi story is that the United States switched sides in the War on Terror when the nObama administration knowingly facilitated the flow of arms to al-Qaeda linked militias in Libya. But the Times casts the arms transfers as Qatar run amok, an ally who could not be curtailed by the United States. “Throughout the spring, the administration had effectively turned a blind eye as Qatar and the United Arab Emirates supplied the rebels with lethal assistance, according to then Defense Secretary Robert Gates and others,” they report. “But Mrs. Clinton had grown increasingly concerned that Qatar, in particular, was sending arms only to certain rebel factions: militias from the city of Misrata and select Islamist brigades.”
.
One need only understand the case of arms dealer Marc Turi to see that the Times is peddling a false narrative.
.
“Marc Turi was set up and framed for something he didn’t do, while others, who actually did collaborate with Qatar and the UAE to deliver the weapons under U.S. and NATO protection and supervision, are not only not prosecuted like Marc Turi, they’re not even mentioned,” CCB member and former CIA officer Clare Lopez told WorldNetDaily last July.
.
“During the 2011 Libyan revolution, Mrs. Clinton had successfully pushed the administration to take a direct role in arming opposition groups, hoping that would persuade the Qataris to stop sending weapons to extremist rebel factions,” reports the Times. This account falsely casts the United States as arming moderate rebels, when in fact the “rebels” were linked to al Qaeda.
.
“Muammar Qaddafi had given up his WMD some years before,” noted Lopez at the CCB’s 2014 conference. “He had also begun to cooperate with the United States, and with the West, to keep al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb, AQIM, down. He had al Qaeda jihadis in his jails.”
.
.
In contrast, some of the Libyan rebels were flying the black flags of jihad.
.
“Officials from Libya’s moderate governing coalition were demanding that the United States stop the wealthy nation of Qatar from sending money and arms to militias aligned with Libya’s Islamist political bloc,” report Becker and Shane. “The Islamists, in turn, were accusing a rival gulf power, the United Arab Emirates, of providing similar patronage to fighters aligned with their political enemies.”
.
A story about just one shipment of arms explains how these arms deals involved the highest level of Libyan governance. As discussed in our interim report, “During their visit to Tripoli, the United Arab Emirates officials discovered that half of the $1 billion worth of weapons it had financed for the rebels had, in fact, been diverted by Mustafa Abdul Jalil, the Muslim Brotherhood head of the Libyan TNC, and sold to Qaddafi.”
.
A reliable source told the commission that Jalil put out a hit job on Major General Abdel Fatah Younis, Qaddafi’s former Minister of the Interior, because Younis had found out that half of the arms ended up in Qaddafi’s hands. The assassination was tasked to none other than Abu Khattala, who is now in U.S. custody because of his part in the Benghazi attacks of September 11 and September 12, 2012.
.
Clearly, these events contribute to the broader story surrounding the Benghazi scandal. But instead of covering the Benghazi scandal accurately, the Times argues that Hilly Clinton is not responsible. “If the attempt to pin blame for the Benghazi attack on Mrs. Clinton would largely fail,” wrote Becker and Shane, continuing, “the notion that the Libyan intervention was among her successes had become steadily more threadbare.”
.
If the Times had been interested in telling the truth about the Benghazi scandal, it would have tied the truce talks and the arming of al-Qaeda-linked rebel groups into the story of this scandal. Instead, its over 12,000-word piece steps around the scandal itself as much as possible.
.
“From the earliest days of the Libya debate, Mrs. Clinton was a diligent student and unrelenting inquisitor, absorbing fat briefing books, inviting dissenting views from subordinates, studying foreign counterparts to learn how to win them over,” write Becker and Shane. “She was a pragmatist, willing to improvise—to try the bank-shot solution.”
.
Pragmatist or not, Hilly Clinton and Barack nObama made distinctly poor—if not disastrous—decisions when intervening in Libya. But the mainstream media are more interested in publishing foreign policy accounts that bolster these leaders’ foreign policy bona fides. With Libya, it just isn’t possible.
.
Again, the Times asked if the “mistake” was having gone into Libya in the first place, mission creep to remove Qaddafi, or failing to plan for the aftermath of Qaddafi’s removal. The answer is yes to all of the above, but the reason for the “mistakes” is what should be understood. It was nObama administration policy during the so-called Arab Spring to replace strongman allies of the U.S.—such as Qaddafi in Libya and Hosni Mubarak in Egypt, who assisted in the war against al Qaeda and other jihadist groups—with Muslim Brotherhood and al-Qaeda-linked groups that wanted to control Northern Africa. The results of the nObama/Clinton policies in the region have mostly been disastrous for the people living there, and for America’s influence in the Middle East.

A Canary Sings – A Goose Gets Cooked

jg-1.jpg?width=204Hillary Clinton must be sweating like a Kardashian on Jeopardy right about now.

Just a couple of days ago, it was revealed that Bryan Pagliano has an immunity deal with the Obama regime’s Department of Justice to provide testimony regarding Hillary’s private server, private email set up at the Department of State.

This is huge, but before I get into all that, a quick refresher on Pagliano is in order.

Bryan Pagliano is the guy from Platte River Networks who was Hillary’s personal IT specialist. Pagliano had worked for Hillary’s failed 2008 campaign as its IT Director, who had installed a private server at the Clinton’s Chappaqua home and then, in 2009, was hired by Hillary to serve as a “Special Advisor” to her at State where he also became a State Department IT Specialist.

Naturally, while an IT Spec for State, Pagliano also maintained Hillary’s private server at her home which was a rather cozy arrangement.

Okay…here’s why Hillary is sweating bullets…

THE CAST IS NOT OURS

Choosing between a liar and a cheat is a fete for fools!  Old Lying Eyes Hillary or Grumpy Trump. We the People did not choose them.  Who did?; yet we are FORCED to decide between  them.  It is clear, We are not in charge, just as we were not in charge of the Choice of Chairman Mao Obama or PC Romney.

Well, the Party chooses, a faction with an agenda, not necessarily ours; most of the time not ours, or disguised as ours. The engineering design is for our own good, or theirs? Trust common sense: It is to their good, alone; We are a by-product.

How easily We are led by propaganda and indoctrination; negating our values; way of life; principles and our Bill of Rights!  We are supposed to be the Government, who choose and elect Representatives who support and defend us.  We are the enemy?!  They are the enemy!  They have the absolute power over We.  We submit to their will, against ours.  What they have claimed: We are not competent enough to make decisions on our own; they know best. Is this any better than a Socialist Country?  Laissez-faire was the intent; the reality is they are in total control of the wealth and power.  We are children of the Government; nothing more!

THE BEAST OF AN ANGRY MOB

Thank our lucky stars he is not our President, treated as if he is, and if he was he would be a vengeful one, and most verbally offensive. Trump is a very vindictive, abrasive, and an extreme narcissus; only interested in a 'winning' state of mind and an unquenchable fetus for it, at any cost; he certainly can afford to run anyone over to achieve his goal. Is this what his desperate supporters want?; if so, they will reap being run over if they ever dare get in his way, and he would do it using their money, not his for sure.

The not well informed are not well armed when it concerns realizing long term consequences of knee jerk responses, to solve their immediate dissatisfaction with government, and their economic condition. He and they have paired up to find scapegoats to appease their impetuous need to resolve complex issues.

Led by a madman seems reasonable to a mob mentality called political rebellion, without the realization that they are being pandered to by him.

How do you explain rational thought to an angry mob? It cannot be done!!! Therefore, if Trump became Emperor the angry mob will become the untamed lion, devouring our Republic with revenge.

Deconstructing Trump

There's a lot of bickering back and forth in the Republican party right now. Those in the RNC would be wise to consider a few things. First of all, there are a lot of conservatives who don't care if the Republican party is being split. It's not the party we're concerned with, it's the country. Those of us who call ourselves Conservatives,(Republican or not) would also be wise to consider a few things. Donald Trump and Ben Carson were not the only non-establishment candidates. Ted Cruz is first of all a Constitutionalist. He has proven that he will take on the establishment if they are pushing an agenda that goes against the Constitution. He is intelligent, well spoken and sure of his facts. If Donald Trump had never decided to run, many of the same Conservatives who are so suspicious of Cruz now, would have been quick to jump on the Cruz bandwagon. There's been nothing new or sinister that has come out about Cruz, that wasn't already common knowledge before he became a candidate. The only thing different is that Trump is in the race and he is good at working and audience. Yes, there are some things to question about Cruz, his wife's involvement in Goldman-Sacs, his Canadian birth, his campaign shenanigans. But all those things are no worse than things in Trump's recent past. Things his supporters are quick to dismiss. Make no mistake, Trump may not be an establishment candidate, but he is a skilled politician. He changes his statements to pander to whatever crowd he's trying to impress. His business record contains as many failures as successes. Not everything in his hands turns to gold. Think long and hard about the damage that has been done to our county's image by the Obama regime. Now ask yourself if Donald Trump is really the best choice to redeem it. If you're truly being objective, then you would have to say no.

 OPINION IN BRIEF
Vijay Jayaraj: "[T]here is no ethical basis in a naturalistic framework to limit the growth of human population. The naturalist and the atheist invoke theistic moral values (specifically from the Judeo-Christian worldview) to hold humans responsible for the supposed depletion of the environment. The Christian perspective, on the other hand, calls for a responsible stewardship of earth by humans, based on the Biblical mandate. The Christian worldview promotes human life — to develop and promote activities that will address the livelihood of humans, the flourishment of human life and the utilization of the resources to aid in the same. It also lays the ethical principles for stewarding the creation — thus discouraging abuse of the environment and the creatures therein. Indoctrination in education is a cancer that kills the inquisitive and renders the intellect paralyzed. It's unfortunate that the scientific methodology is being dominated by political entities. There will never be a conflict between science and my faith. But the perpetrators who have twisted the scientific system to their gains will always be a challenge to my moral values regarding truth, integrity, justice, equality and desire to have an educational environment that is free from indoctrination."

WITH YOUR SECOND CUP OF COFFEE
Detroit is known as the car manufacturing hub of America, but Motor City made a big contribution to maritime vessels too, including the world’s first floating zip code. J.W. Wescott Co., established in 1847 by Detroit native John Ward Wescott, is a maritime reporting agency for ships coming in and out of the Great Lakes to inform ports when they were arriving, since their plans could change at a moments’ notice. Wescott invented the system to prevent ports from getting congested with last minute arrivals. Wescott described the early system: “A rope and bucket would be thrown over the sides of the visiting ship and he would place messages in the bucket, which was quickly hoisted back up—thus the phrase, ‘mail in the pail.’  Over the years, the business grew and services expanded. In 1948, J.W. Westcott became an official U.S. Postal Service mail boat, eventually earning the world’s first floating postal ZIP code—48222.”  -Fox News

DEBATE TO-DO LIST: GOP’S BULL MOOSE  MOMENT   DETROIT – The Motor City had lots to celebrate in 1912. Henry Ford’s miraculous assembly line was just hitting its stride, the Dime Bank building had just opened at its jaw-dropping height of 23 stories, and Tiger Stadium was almost ready to host its first game.
But across the nation, the buzz was about politics and what would have seemed unthinkable just four years prior. The populist, progressive wing of the Republican Party and its charismatic, tough-talking leader Teddy Roosevelt was getting ready to bolt from the increasingly conservative and hidebound, traditional GOP President William Howard Taft. You know where this is going…
It’s not exaggeration to say that 104 years later, Republicans are careening toward a similar crackup. But this time the roles are reversed. The populist progressive is taking over the party and the conservatives and traditionalists are the ones talking about leaving.
Who could’ve imagined just a year ago that 2012 GOP nominee,Mitt Romney, a party stalwart if ever there was one, would be on stage denouncing the Republican frontrunner and calling for a joint strike to block his ascension. Romney’s call for a coordinated, three-candidate effort to block the Rough Rider of 2016, Donald slump-Trump, has no equal in modern political history.   -Fox News

{lidblog.com} ~ John Kasich keeps talking about how when he was the Chairman of the House Budget Committee during the Clinton Administration the federal budget was balanced... That’s just not true. The last time the federal budget was balanced was during the Eisenhower administration. The federal budget was not balanced in any of Bill Clinton’s eight years as President. Not once! The federal government has two types of debt public debt and intra-governmental debt.  Public debt is comprises securities held by investors outside the federal government, including that held by investors, the Federal Reserve System and foreign, state and local governments  Intra-governmental debt comprises Treasury securities held in accounts administered by the federal government, such as the Social Security Trust Fund. Traditionally the annual federal government budget deficit or surplus is the cash difference between government receipts and spending, ignoring intra-governmental transfers. This is a trick as intra-governmental debt needs to be repaid just like the publicly held debt. This is also how Clinton claimed a surplus in three out of his last four years.        http://lidblog.com/john-kasich-never-balanced-the-federal-budget-never/?utm_source=The+Lid+List&utm_campaign=0edf716c1c-RSS_EMAIL_CAMPAIGN&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_597b72c01c-0edf716c1c-291705165

Will Hilly's path to the White House be blocked with iron bars?
.
{punchingbagpost.com} ~ Hilly Clinton came out on top this week, winning 7 of the 11 states that participated in Super Tuesday. Her success, however, is clouded by rumors of potential indictment in regards to her email scandal... Both the State and Justice Departments have opened probes into Hilly’s use of a secret unsecure email server and the FBI has reportedly assigned 150 agents to investigate criminal activity. The case against Hilly “looks very strong,” says Andrew McCarthy. Many have drawn a parallel between Clinton's case and that of David Petraeus. The retired general plead guilty last year when he was accused of sharing classified documents with his mistress. "I was a critic of the Petraeus prosecution because I thought he got a slap on the wrist," says McCarthy. "When Congress enacted these laws, the idea was to give the maximum amount of protection the criminal law could give to national defense secrets."        http://punchingbagpost.com/democratic-frontrunner-threatened-by-criminal-investigation

{defenddemocracy.org} ~ Here’s a worrying bit of news: America’s best ally in the war against the Islamic State, Iraq’s Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG), is nearly broke... That’s a major problem, especially as the U.S.-led coalition gears up for its most difficult battle yet: the effort to liberate Mosul, the heart of the Islamic State’s power in Iraq. With the Kurds slated to play an essential role in that potentially decisive military campaign, now is the time for their capabilities to be reaching their zenith. Instead, they’re under growing threat of catastrophic collapse. A near-perfect storm of crises has been draining KRG finances. First, there’s the burden of the war. For over 18 months, Kurdish forces have been pushing IS back across a 600-mile front. There’s also the KRG’s chronic dispute with the central government in Baghdad that has denied the region its share of Iraq’s national budget for the better part of two years. That’s billions upon billions of dollars in foregone revenue.Further exacerbating the situation has been a massive influx of refugees and displaced persons, an estimated 1.8 million men, women, and children, fleeing the Islamic State’s hordes for the relative safety of Kurdistan. That tidal wave of humanity has increased the region’s population by an astounding 30 percent, straining its infrastructure and social services to the breaking point (just think about that: in the United States, that’s the equivalent of trying to take in over 90 million people overnight). Finally, like oil producers everywhere, what earnings the KRG receives from its own energy exports have been decimated by the collapse in world prices.          http://www.defenddemocracy.org/media-hit/john-hannah-if-the-kurds-go-broke-its-lights-out-for-obamas-war-on-the-islamic-state/

maintain control of the Republican Party
.
{washingtonexaminer.com} ~ Is the Republican Party on the verge of sidelining its ideological roots by nominating Donald slump-Trump as it's presidential candidate?...  That's what conservative activists and intellectuals were pondering this week as they gathered for the annual Conservative Political Action Conference near Washington. CPAC, as its known, has served as the bulwark of the conservative movement since the Reagan era, keeping the Republican Party ideologically grounded and forcing GOP candidates for office to at least pay lip service the ideas of limited government, fiscal responsibility and a strong national defense. Mike Turner, 68, a conservative activist from La Plata, Md., who is supporting Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida for the GOP nomination and attended CPAC on Thursday, said he fears that a Republican Party led by slump-Trump will not be a vehicle for conservative governance that can be depended upon to at least try and counter the liberalism of the Democrats.          http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/conservatives-worry-about-future-in-gop/article/2584926

{washingtonexaminer.com} ~ "Donald slump-Trump is a con man," Marco Rubio says. Rubio is right... Throughout his business career, slump-Trump convinces the vulnerable that they can be his partners — when really they're his marks. This campaign is slump-Trump's latest con. "slump-Trump's voters are just the latest set of marks," conservative writer Michael Brendan Dougherty aptly put it, back before Iowa. "Like the graduates of slump-Trump University, or those who dined on slump-Trump's steaks." The businesses that thought they were partners in slump-Trump's casinos, the aspiring entrepreneurs who thought they were partners in slump-Trump's real estate empire, the borrowers and salesmen who thought they were partners in slump-Trump mortgage businesses — they were all the victims of his con. slump-Trump mortgage provides the perfect analogy. Wake up America.     http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/trump-is-a-con-man-and-youre-his-latest-mark/article/2584896

{conservativereview.com} ~ At what point does the millennial generation wake up and realize that their love affair with the Democratic Party has been one-sided?... While the Democrats have benefitted enormously from millennials’ overwhelming support of their brand in national, state and local elections, the affection has gone unrequited. Granted, the Democrats talk a big game about the youth of America, but it’s what they’re actually doing to younger Americans that matters. In nearly every significant policy arena the modern, far-Left Democratic Party is pushing policies that will undoubtedly jeopardize the futures of young Americans working hard to make a better tomorrow. Conservative activist, former Reagan administration official, and nationally-syndicated radio host Mark Levin’s new book Plunder and Deceit is a thorough examination of the ideological and legislative assault on young Americans. The book uses extensive data points and a second-to-none analysis to make the case that the modern Democratic Party’s allegiance to liberal ideology on the social front, and to tax-and-spend economics on the fiscal front, is selling out young Americans. It is a must-read for young Americans who are looking to escape the Democratic Party’s deceptive, focus group tested talking points and looking to find the truth.  Additionally, the book is a must-read for Americans of all ages who want to understand, and be able to explain to open-minded young Americans, the danger we are in if we fail to correct our course. https://www.conservativereview.com/Commentary/2015/08/dear-millenials-the-dems-are-screwing-you

{city-journal.org} ~ Everyone knows the popular definition of insanity: doing the same thing over and over again while expecting different results... The quip is generally attributed to Albert Einstein, but you needn’t be a theoretical physicist to appreciate that the NYPD’sannouncement this weekthat it will no longer arrest those who litter, drink in public, or urinate on Manhattan streets will have an entirely predictable result on the quality of life in New York City. Gotham will become less orderly and, over time, less safe. Abandoning 25 years of successful public policy and expecting that the city won’t begin to revert to its former levels of disorder is worse than insane—it’s practically criminal. The revolutionary approach to policing known as Broken Windows—though much maligned of late—was once widely credited with bringing New York City back from the brink of civic death. “New Yorkers no longer apathetically assume that they have to put up with aggressive panhandlers, squeegee men or parks full of makeshift housing encampments,” wrote the editors of the New York Times in 1997 while endorsing—“enthusiastically”—the reelection of Mayor Rudolph Giuliani. “Most residents have an increased sense of control over their neighborhoods, and this is most critical in poorer sections of the city. Low-income black and Latino families are no longer expected to reconcile themselves to gunfire in their streets and drug dealers on their doorsteps.”   http://www.city-journal.org/2016/eon0303mh.html

{freebeacon.com} ~ Donald slump-Trump had by far his worst debate of the 2016 campaign on Thursday. He was defensive and vulgar, evasive and condescending, rude and imperious... He moved drastically to the center on immigration, repudiating his position on H-1B visas on stage and saying “everything is negotiable,” including the border wall and the fate of illegal immigrants already in the United States. He defended his calls for expansive torture and the killing of civilians related to terrorists, saying the military “will do what I tell them” even if his orders contradict the law. He dismissed his opponents as “little Marco” and “lying Ted” and bragged about his manhood. Over two hours he provided reams and reams of material for Hilly Clinton’s ad writers. And through it all he was cheered by a raucous and heckling audience that seemed to have been transported straight from the courtroom scene in “Encounter at Farpoint.” The spectacle made me ill. On screen I watched decades of work by conservative institutions, activists, and elected officials being lit aflame not only by the New York demagogue but by his enablers who waited until the last possible moment to criticize and try to stop him. {freebeacon.com} ~ The campaign of Democratic presidential frontrunner Hilly Clinton has made payments totaling six figures to Clinton this election cycle, according to a review of its expenditures... Federal campaign finance records reviewed by the Washington Free Beacon found that starting in April 2015, the month that Clinton launched her campaign, thousands in payments began flowing to the candidate. Clinton has previously claimed that she and Bill Clinton were “dead broke” when he left the White House, but the two have since amassed millions of dollars in wealth. The first transaction from Hilly for America to Hilly Rodham Clinton came on April 13, 2015 in the amount of $74,042. This transaction was filed under ‘Payroll & Benefits’ with a separate payment of $1,488 for ‘Employee Benefits’ that same day, according to FEC filings. On April 14, just one day later, $744 went to Clinton marked as employee benefits. The next in a series of payments to Clinton did not occur until later in the year.        http://freebeacon.com/politics/hillary-paid-herself-250000-from-campaign-funds/?utm_source=Freedom+Mail&utm_campaign=4331cb0efb-WFB_Morning_Beacon_03_04_163_3_2016&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_b5e6e0e9ea-4331cb0efb-45611665

.
{townhall.com} ~ Rules of Engagement (ROE) is defined as a directive issued by a military authority specifying the circumstances and limitations under which forces will engage in combat with the enemy. In the history of warfare we have seen an incredible metamorphosis of the rules of engagement. Long ago, armies presented themselves upon the battlefield in open areas away from civilian populations. The fact that weapons were limited to that which was carried, sword and spear, meant that fighting the enemy meant close-quarter engagement. The rules then were quite simple: engage the enemy, defeat them, and pursue to bring about their ultimate destruction. Given the fact that the level of communications capability was basically that of your voice, formations were tight and not spread out.
.
As battlefield technology and communications technology improved, the military battlefield expanded, and that meant a broader scope of what a “battlefield” encompassed. So as time moved forward, the battlefield was not just far away fields where armies came together; it meant involving civilian populations. As armies grew in size and scope, it became more necessary to depend upon local populations for food resourcing.
.
One thing that remained necessary and important was the states declared war against each other and fielded uniformed militaries that were identifiable on the battlefield. But consider what began here in America with the French and Indian War when there were two adversaries, but each employed non-state entities in support of their uniformed forces. The history of our vaunted US Army Rangers came from a company-sized force from the provincial colony of New Hampshire called into service of the British Army led by Colonel Robert Rogers, Roger’s Rangers. This guerrilla force operated in support of a uniformed state military, the British Army, against its enemies and won fame in the campaign against the Abenanki Indian tribe – who had been waging a frontier war against civilian populations supporting the British.
.
In our own Revolutionary War, militias such as that of Francis Marion, the “Swamp Fox,” in South Carolina again featured a group supporting a uniformed Army in its prosecution of warfare.
.
In order to try and police the battlefield and reduce the impact of such non-uniformed belligerents, it was often a practice that those captured on the battlefield as such were summarily tried and executed. The purpose was to try and protect civilian populations.
.
But with the advent of “total war,” where civilian populations were in support of the war making machine, industry rules of engagement changed. Industry and means by which the materiel support to warfare were deemed part of “centers of gravity” were now targets. We remember the bombing of the Ploesti oilfields in Romania. Such as it was for factories that produced weapons components and the train systems that transported troops and materiel. And yes, there were spies and acts of espionage to gather intelligence and sabotage key infrastructure – and again, those captured not in uniform aiding and abetting efforts were summarily executed. It was brutal, but in essence it was the unfortunate consequence of civilians entering the expanded battlefield.
.
Fast forward to Vietnam, where a main belligerent on the battlefield was the Viet Cong, who infiltrated the civilian population and used adjoining nation-states as a base of operations to train, equip, provide provisions, and stage their attacks. They were a non-state actor in support of a state actor, the North Vietnamese Army (NVA). The ROE during that war was very convoluted, and in many ways enabled the enemy to find sanctuary due to the desire not to inflict civilian casualties.
.
And so we find ourselves much in a similar position today in the war against Islamic Jihadism. War on terror is a horrible misnomer. One cannot fight against a tactic, which is what terrorism is. It is a means, a method used by an undefined enemy. On the new battlefield of the 21st century, we must have ROE that is not developed at the highest levels but at the battlefield levels to enable success. When the enemy knows that we have a political concern with “collateral damage,” they will use that reticence to their utmost advantage.
.
As a Battalion Commander in Iraq, I can recall the insurgent enemy using mosques and burial grounds as assembly points, as well as ammunition and equipment staging points. They knew what our restricted target list was. We insidiously advertised it. The enemy knows that our troops are told to not fire until fired upon, and it has come to the point where Islamic jihadist enemies can simply drop their weapons and walk away, knowing they will not to be engaged by our forces.
.
We must also employ weapon systems on the battlefield with the proper ROE that enable us to gain and maintain contact with the enemy, and not allow them to reposition into civilian populations, which increases the chances for civilian casualties. Let me provide you with an example from my years in Afghanistan.
.
When an American element becomes involved in a TIC (troops in contact), it is imperative that they have the support of all resources that can destroy that enemy in place. The ground element must be able to keep the enemy engaged and maintain “eyes on target.” If the enemy is firing upon you from a location, that location is a target. What happens all too often is that far back at some headquarters, any request for additional fire support must go through ROE protocols, where a series of inane questions are asked of the ground element – something the enemy knows very well. Time is of the essence in a firefight.
.
We need weapon systems platforms that are in support of the ground element; that can deliver close support to them. We need mortars, artillery, and aerial close-air support assets that allow the ground element to keep an enemy pinned down for the ultimate kill, with additional assets. And let me be very clear: an F-15, F-16, and F/A-18 are not exactly fixed wing close air support assets. The best tools for that mission are attack helicopters or A-10 Warthogs. Why? Because the ground element can direct them right in on the enemy while still maintaining their direct fire, and reducing the issue of collateral damage.
.
What happens on the modern battlefield is that the enemy knows our TTPs (tactics, techniques, and procedures). When our ground element disengages, meaning they stop firing, they are repositioning to not be in the circular error probable of bombs that will be dropped. So the enemy repositions as well, and normally deeper into civilian areas, and we raise the probability of collateral damage.
.
If we are to be successful on this battlefield, let’s allow the leaders on the ground - not lawyers - to develop common sense ROE. We can ill afford to allow the enemy any advantage and initiative to kill our men and women we have deployed into harm’s way. This is a critical issue that the House and Senate Armed Services Committees should be examining. This is why we at the National Center for Policy Analysis are addressing this policy issue.  Net Neutrality a Year Later
This is a legacy of the nObama administration: The growth and innovation that came with a free Internet ceased after the government decided it would treat the net like a utility, regulating it like landline phones. It's been a year since the Federal Communications Commission, at the behest of Barack nObama, instituted net neutrality, declaring that Internet providers needed to treat equally every packet of information zipping through the fiber optic, whether it's Netflix streaming thousands of shows a minute or someone casually browsing Facebook.
The result, The Wall Street Journal explains, is that Internet companies are investing less into building up infrastructure. In 2013, the industry increased capital expenditures by 8.7%; last year, those investments shrank by 0.4%. FCC Commissioner Ajit Pai told The Daily Signal, "I think what you are seeing is companies less willing to spend money building broadband that is faster and better and cheaper to your homes and businesses. This is the first time that year-over-year investment in broadband has gone down, outside the tech bubble bursting in 2001 and the Great Recession of 2008. The fact it coincides with the FCC adopting these heavy-handed regulations, I think, is directly related. And that's unfortunate for American consumers, especially in rural areas where the business case for building our broadband is already tough as it is."
The FCC's newfound powers are being challenged in the courts — and it might go to the Supreme Court. But if the FCC prevails, then it will have the power to tax the Internet, further freezing the innovation and creativity that the Internet fostered.

slump-Trump Taps Something That's Long Been  Ignored   If Super Tuesday proved anything, it's that a large number of American voters will, indeed, pull the lever for Donald slump-Trump — and for valid reasons. No, we haven't suddenly jumped on the slump-Trump Train (and don't expect us to any time soon), but it's clear slump-Trump has found a trigger point among many voters. And he's hitting it with incredible consistency.
"My market is the people in the country who want to see America be great again," slump-Trump explained. "It's very simple. That's a lot of people. That's not broken down by age, or race or anything."
While it's all too easy to judge slump-Trump supporters by the candidate they follow, slump-Trumpmania's real appeal goes much deeper than political theater — and it's worth understanding.
As much as we despise politics via class stratification, that's where we must begin. For it's working-class Americans — blue-collar, lacking political power and without friends in high places — who believe they have at last found an ally, an advocate, a voice in the man who proudly claimed to "love the poorly educated."
In an astute explanation of "slump-Trump's America," Charles Murray of the American Enterprise Institute writes of "the emergence of a new upper class and a new lower class and ... the plight of the working class caught in between." Populating the new upper class are the elites — politicians, professors, cultural icons, business moguls. They shape policy, wield power, and are heard simply by nature of their status. The new lower class includes those "who have dropped out of some of the most basic institutions of American civic culture, especially work and marriage." Meanwhile, the working class is left in the middle. "slump-Trumpism," Murray writes, "is the voice of a beleaguered working class." And "the central truth of slump-Trumpism as a phenomenon is that the entire American working class has legitimate reasons to be angry at the ruling class." We've noted that he is the ace of anger affirmation before.
And indeed, it's the so-called working class — not the ruling class — that has borne the impact of the exportation of millions of manufacturing jobs and the influx of illegal aliens who now hold many working class jobs.
Peggy Noonan describes it as the rift between the "protected" and "unprotected." She writes, "The protected make public policy. The unprotected live in it. The unprotected are starting to push back."
And if today's "protected" make up the "ruling class" — those who create the world in which the rest of us live — is it any wonder the "unprotected" have grown disillusioned?
As Claremont Institute Fellow Angelo Codevilla writes, "Ordinary Americans have endured being insulted by the ruling class's favorite epitaphs—racist, sexist, etc., and, above all, stupid.... No wonder, then, that millions of Americans lose respect for a ruling class that disrespects them, that they identify with whomever promises some kind of turnabout against that class, and that they care less and less for the integrity of institutions that fail to protect them."
A look at who actually supported slump-Trump on Super Tuesday bears this out. Residents of economically distressed communities were more likely to vote for slump-Trump than voters in prosperous areas.
Need more convincing? Just listen to what a recent caller told Rush Limbaugh: "It's kind of like a few callers ago said that us guys are low-informed voters. I mean, just 'cause we didn't march out of somewhere with a Harvard degree or whatever, I guess we're not qualified to vote for the president of the United States. I feel like that's the whole thing. It's like we're not important, yet here we've been carrying the country on our back with taxes for years and years and we get no appreciation whatsoever."
We in our humble shop are hearing the same. A reader recently wrote, "The Patriot Post needs to quit bashing the best chance of defeating Hilly: Donald slump-Trump. Support the guy who's winning over the American People."
Another says, "I am tired of the elite running my country into the ground. I served a career defending what used to be the USA, only to see the socialist and RINOs take and trash her."
It's for this reason slump-Trump boasts, "I've brought in millions and millions of people into the Republican party." That's true, but with big caveats. As we've also argued, slump-Trump's supporters are right to be tired of the elite., and they're asking the right questions. They're just coming up with the wrong answer, and that's true in part because he hurts those he's supposed to be for.
No matter what we think though, the fact is slump-Trump supporters aren't necessarily voting for slump-Trump because he's someone important. slump-Trump supporters are voting for slump-Trump because he says they're someone important. And they've been missing that for far too long.

{wnd.com} ~ Last week, some entertainment industry ignoramuses sought to “enhance their optics” via a display of solidarity with Muslim migrants amidst what the left has sold as a hateful response to the migrants’ presence by some Europeans... A refugee camp in Calais, France, had gained some notoriety and was scheduled for demolition by French authorities. Known as “The Jungle,” the camp was visited by British actor Jude Law and a handful of other celebrities who called on the British government to admit select refugees from the camp into Britain. Things went south, however: No sooner had cameras stopped rolling after the festivities than a group of the beleaguered migrants attacked. As reported by the U.K.’s Mirror, they assaulted a security team attending the entertainers, pelting them with rocks and robbing them. The ignorance of entertainers and liberal culture of the industry aside, those in the West are being rather forcefully admonished to ignore the empirical evidence, which illustrates the folly of the West welcoming migrants from Muslim nations into their own.        http://www.wnd.com/2016/03/muslims-grateful-to-the-west-never/

{rickwells.us} ~ Judge Andrew Napolitano says that Hilly Clinton should be terrified at the immunity deal given to Bryan Pagliano... The first question that he identifies as one that should cause her great concern which is surely one of the first being asked by the FBI is “How he was able to migrate at State Department secure system onto her private server. Question: ‘Mr. Pagliano, did Mrs. Clinton give you her personal Secretary of State password to enable you to do that?’ If he answers yes, we have an indictment for misconduct in office as well as espionage. She should be terrified of the fact that he’s been granted immunity.” He continues, “Now, what does granted immunity mean? Only a federal judge can grant immunity. A federal judge will only grant immunity if a sitting jury is ready to hear testimony from the immunized person. So we know a couple of things. We know the recommendation we were waiting for from the FBI to the Justice Dept has already made its way from the FBI to the Justice Dept. We know FBI agents and Justice Dept prosecutors are working in tandem. We know that they went through this lengthy process of interviewing Mr. Pagliano and finding out what he knows and deciding it’s so valuable they need him to say it to a grand jury. And the only way he can say it to a grand jury is if they promise not to prosecute him and hence he gets immunity.” Napolitano also make the point that “They are going to seek someone’s indictment because they would not be immunizing him and thereby inducing him to spill his guts unless they wanted to indict someone.” He adds, “And we don’t know who it is, there are four or five people   between Bryan  Pagliano and Mrs. Clinton.  http://rickwells.us/archives/26861

Instead, its member support only themselves in keeping their lavish lifestyles and perceived power safe from the rabble...that's We-the-People. Today, the real War on slump-Trump begins with former Governor of Massachusetts and former candidate for President of the United States Mitt Romney...the man who appeared to be second to McCain's first in taking a dive for nObama. Mitt was, also, the individual who praised Mr. slump-Trump to the skies with his effusive and complimentary comments about and to him when Romney begged for the slump-Trump endorsement. slump-Trump gave it immediately and with genuine kindness. Now Romney is repaying that kindness with a speech he and the DC ruling class hope will injure slump-Trump badly and win the first battle in their siege of the slump-Trump campaign. They're deathly afraid that slump-Trump will end their game of "take from the poor, make the middle class the poor, and make the poor work for us. {thecommonsenseshow.com} ~ Aaron Klein recently wrote an investigative piece in which he claims that Hilly Clinton was providing the movements of Ambassador Stevens before his death and this information was disseminated on Clinton’s own personal computer... First of all, the movements of an ambassador are never transmitted in such a manner. However, Aaron Klein clearly has established that when it came to Clinton and Stevens, that was not the case. Secondly, these communiques would have been classified and as such, their revelation would have been illegal because private computers can NEVER be used to receive, review or transmit classified information. Also, Clinton’s revealing the future whereabouts of an ambassador who will be murdered, would make her an accomplice to criminally negligent manslaughter, at best, and Clinton could be found guilty for being an accomplice to the crime of the murder of Chris Stevens, at worst. The late Ambassador Chris Stevens, a CIA operative, was largely responsible for the take down of the Libyan government with the help of al-Qaeda who was being armed by Stevens on behalf of the CIA. At the time of Stevens death, he was doing the same in Syria. As word began to leak out in the months prior to the 2012 Presidential election, Stevens sloppiness had become a huge liability for the current administration and he had to be “dealt with”. Stevens sensed the danger and asked then Secretary of State Clinton for more bodyguards. She refused to honor the request. Further, the military attempted to capitalize on the fact that Stevens, if rescued from the attack that will end in his death, might offer public testimony about his illicit affairs which were sanctioned by the nObama administration in order to cut a deal to protect himself from prosecution. These affairs included gun running to al-Qaeda, drug, gun and sex trafficking of children to support the flow of arms to al-Qaeda. And of course, it was during this time that the CIA funded the rise of ISIS in order to take attention off of al-Qaeda.     http://www.thecommonsenseshow.com/2016/03/03/new-blockbuster-evidence-clinton-responsible-for-the-death-of-ambassador-stevens/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=new-blockbuster-evidence-clinton-responsible-for-the-death-of-ambassador-stevens

{redstate.com} ~ In the beginning of this political season I was ambivalent about Donald slump-Trump. Ted Cruz is easy to support as a Constitutional conservative but most of the candidates were at least acceptable... Things about slump-Donald were troubling, and whether he was a conservative at all became more and more doubtful. The SC debate brought things to a head. That is when we heard a Republican candidate for President urinate on my mission in Iraq and on the graves of those who gave their all for it. Disagreeing about the strategy or even the wisdom of Iraq is fine by me, parroting the “Bush lied, People died” rhetoric of Code Pink and Harry dinky-Reid is not. That is when I decided I could not support Donald slump-Trump. Tonight, in the Detroit debate, Donald slump-Trump went further. He doubled down on his claim that American Soldiers should be in the business of assassinating innocent women and children because of the actions of their husbands/fathers. This is wrong.  This is a war crime. This is an illegal order. When he was told U.S. troops do not obey orders to commit war crimes, he responded in typical slump-Trump fashion. “I know leadership, I tell them to do it and they will do it. I’m a leader.” This is not just a bad idea. This is not just embarrassingly stupid. This is even further trashing of the honor and dignity of the members of the world’s best military. No Soldier I trained would ever obey that order. Even worse is to contemplate the soul destroying reality for any that did obey it. Killing a combatant in defense of yourself and your battle buddies is right and just, but it never leaves you. In the back of your mind is always the realization that you took a human life, no matter how justified. How could anyone contemplate putting Soldiers in the position to live the rest of their lives seeing the faces of dead innocent children in their dreams every night?http://www.redstate.com/diary/Hooah_Mac/2016/03/04/donald-trump-unfit-commander-chief/?utm_source=rsmorningbriefing&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=nl

Agreed: It's not a good time to establish a Palestinian state. Pictured: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and German Chancellor Angela Merkel address a press conference in Berlin, Germany,
on February 16, 2016
.
{gatestoneinstitute.org} ~ During a visit to Berlin, German Chancellor Angela Merkel told Israel's Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu that now is not time to move forward with the "two-state solution" and the establishment of a Palestinian state... Merkel, evidently seeing Israel as a dam protecting Europe from Islamist extremists, told Netanyahu that while the Germans recognized the terrorist threat faced by Israel, and that a peace process had to be advanced based on two states for two peoples, now was not the right time to take big steps. The Palestinians in the West Bank, regardless of public declarations, also secretly support security collaboration with Israel, which protects us from radical Islamist terrorism. Therefore, despite the "official" surveys taken among Palestinians, which show support for Hamas, the residents of the West Bank are terrified that Hamas will gain control and destroy our lives and property the way they did in the Gaza Strip. We do want a Palestinian state, but one that will preserve the lifestyle and accomplishments we have built over the years -- not a state that will have them fall to the horrors of Hamas and ISIS.        http://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/7544/palestinians-big-steps

{lloydmarcus.com} ~ Our Conservative Campaign Committee team attended the Ted Cruz rally in Houston, Texas last night. The scripture, “…for such a time as this…” came to mind. God has prepared Ted Cruz for this dark time in our nation’s history after 8 years of nObama. God has also prepared me and you to usher Cruz into the White House.
.
Some evangelicals have chosen a man who says he has never asked God for forgiveness over Cruz who has asked God’s forgiveness for his sins. These evangelicals are, in essence, saying God cannot use a washed-in-the-blood-of-Christ Christian to save America.
.
Believers rejecting such a clear obvious superior choice is a sad testimony of the state of the modern church. If Jesus came to America today and ran for office, how many Christians would deem Him extreme, polarizing and un-electable?

I’ll cut to the chase folks. Without Ted Cruz in the WH to nominate a constitutional conservative to the Supreme Court, our Bill of Rights is at extreme risk. Five liberals vs four conservatives on the court would have devastating consequences, changing America as we know it. As Ted Cruz has articulated, we are one liberal justice away from the court ordering abortion on demand, confiscating our guns and ending our religious liberty. This is real folks!
.
Mr slump-Trump’s fluid political positions have proven him untrustworthy to do the right thing regarding several issues; especially appointing a constitutional conservative to the Supreme Court. To all you folks angry at me, you know I speak the truth. To all my fellow Christians, you know in your spirit I am right.
.
Joseph de Maistre wrote, “Every nation gets the government it deserves.”
.
If we pass on this extremely rare opportunity to put a Reagan conservative whom God has prepared for such a time as this into our White House, we will receive the government we deserve.
.
Please, please, please pull that lever for Ted Cruz, the last hope for America.

Clinton's Secret IT Staffer Granted Immunity
by FBI   The Clinton machine has ways to deal with people who squeal. Will Bryan Pagliano suddenly die in a mysterious accident? In the next couple months, the FBI expects to wrap up its investigation into whether then-Secretary of State Hilly Clinton's use of a homebrew email server and her mishandling of classified information constitutes criminal wrongdoing. The bureau has granted Pagliano, the Clinton staffer who set up the contraption, immunity in exchange for his cooperation with law enforcement. He previously pleaded the Fifth. As noted by Ted Cruz, who knows a thing or two about law, "This suggests that the investigation is moving to a whole other level."
This revelation comes as the State Department released the last of Clinton's emails, redacting more than 2,000 because they were classified at some level and withholding dozens of others because they were so highly classified as to be damaging to national security even in redacted form. Naturally, the Clinton campaign has downplayed the investigation, saying it's a simple security review. But the fact that federal investigators have granted the man who created the system immunity suggests they are pursuing someone bigger. Perhaps they are zeroing in on the fact that Clinton ordered the system created, and hid the system from the State Department. But Clinton may still slip away. Former CIA Director David Petraeus leaked sensitive information to his biographer, lied about it to the FBI, and was hit with a $100,000 fine and probation for two years. Clinton may be under the law, but barely.

slump-Trump Is the Last Person You Want to  Pick a Judge   Donald slump-Trump will make America great again, or so he says. Certainly, the next president will leave a lasting mark on American jurisprudence, as he or she will nominate anywhere from one to four Supreme Court justices. (Barack nObama is currently vetting a possible nominee.) With his outsider appeal and appearance of a high rolling successful businessman, slump-Trump promises that he'll turn this country around, clean out Washington and guild it with his gold-colored trademark.
"I'm sorry," columnist David Harsanyi asserts, "but 'support the American Putin because he's the only one who can save SCOTUS and the Constitution' is deeply unpersuasive.'"
Not only is it unpersuasive, it's downright worrying. Because he hasn't held public office and therefore been on record demonstrating support for the Constitution, slump-Trump's views and how he interprets the Founding Document are ambiguous, at best. (Not that it would matter — his views on anything change whenever he changes ties.) However, we do know, as George Mason University law professor Ilya Sominwrites, that slump-Trump conducts his business in such a way as to undermine Rule of Law, free speech and property rights.
slump-Trump sued journalists he thought gave him unfavorable coverage in order to bully them into silence. As we pointed out, our nation's libel laws were established before the American Revolution. They are part of the jurisprudence that helped build this country, and slump-Trump wants to fundamentally transform it. slump-Trump has also spoken in favor of expanded eminent domain powers that would allow the government to seize property from private citizens and then give it to private developers — developers like slump-Trump.
These positions are neither grounded in precedent, nor do they respect Rule of Law. In fact, they are views held by a man who does not understand the basic duty of a judge. At the GOP debate before Super Tuesday, slump-Trump said judges "sign" bills. Any fifth-grader should be able to tell you judges are to interpret the law created by presidents who sign the bills the legislature creates. And yet some discontented voters are willing to give him the responsibility of vetting who will become the next Supreme Court justice.  -The Patriot Post

{redstate.com} ~ The Democrats from Woodrow Wilson to Bill Clinton were socialistic, but in a nationalist way... They were socialists, yes, but they wanted to Take Care Of Our Own. Delivering on programs like the Tennessee Valley Authority had them owning the South for decades. The Democrats in the Internet era though have shifted toward a more post-modern, Communistic socialism. Though instead of a classical Marxist class-based division, they’re using privilege theory to determine who to overthrow. And that’s squeezing out the last edges of the Democrat coalition that existed from the New Deal to the Contract with America. Those are the slump-Trump Democrats. People who for decades were middle of the road Democrats who believed in welfare, a moderate foreign policy, and regulation of big business. These people have hit their breaking point. They’re being squeezed out of the Democrat party, as it realigns under pressure from Internet activists, and they’re flocking to slump-Trump. They’re making this move because slump-Trump’s Make America Great Again is the spiritual successor to the New Deal and the Great Society.        http://www.redstate.com/neil_stevens/2016/03/02/trump-democrats-donald-using-win-states/?utm_source=rsmorningbriefing&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=nl

{dailysignal.com} ~ Congressional investigators have obtained an internal audit from George Mason University that suggests that one of its professors—a major proponent of man-made climate change—mismanaged millions of dollars in taxpayer money by “double dipping” in violation of university policy... The professor, Jagadish Shukla, received $511,410 in combined compensation from George Mason University and his own taxpayer-funded climate change research center in 2014 alone, without receiving required permission from university officials, the audit found. The audit looking at more than a decade of Shukla’s finances is disclosed in a letter sent this morning from Rep. {wholesaledirectmetals.com} ~ The days of banks being trusted institutions to help protect your savings & retirement are over... First, it was the banks gambling on derivatives that blew up the global economy in 2008 and cost citizens trillions in savings & retirement.  Then, it was the banks turning over customer accounts to the IRS & police for total seizure without due process of law.  Next came reports that banks are abolishing our ability to use & store cash.  And now comes a frightening report that banks have agreed to pay $81 BILLION in restitution & penalties for criminal & civil abuses against the public and their own customers.  So more than ever, if you want real protection of your savings & retirement, you better move it out of the bank.  Fast. While these financial penalties represent historic records, they are a drop in the bucket compared to the hundreds of billions banks earned from scamming the public & its own customers for years.  Yet not a single banker has gone to jail after committing these horrible, criminal offenses! And here’s the really scary part:  Despite paying $81 billion in restitution & penalties, banks are still gambling with your money.  Congress recently passed a new spending bill that allows banks to once again use your deposited money to bet on those insanely risky derivatives that caused the global financial collapse of 2008!  So apparently the Clintons aren’t the only politicians in bed with the banks. (Bank of America, JP Morgan Chase, Wells Fargo, Morgan Stanley, Citigroup, UBS, HSBC, Goldman Sachs)        https://www.wholesaledirectmetals.com/81-billion-reasons-your-money-is-not-safe-in-the-bank/?cid=RedstateDedicated&st-t=RedstateDedicated

{frontpagemag.com} ~ Presidential hopefuls Hilly Clinton and Sen. Bernie Sanders, along with President nObama, say they want high-income earners, otherwise known as the rich, to pay their fair share of income taxes... None of these people, as well as the uninformed in the media and our campus intellectual elites, will say precisely what is the "fair share" of taxes. That is because they would look ignorant and silly, so they stick with simply saying that the rich should pay more. Let's you and I take a peek at who pays what in federal income taxes. The following represents 2012 income tax data recently released by the Internal Revenue Service, compiled by the Tax Foundation (http://tinyurl.com/j5yr8cd). The top 1 percent, 1.37 million taxpayers earning $434,682 and more, paid 38 percent of all federal income taxes. The top 5 percent, those earning $175,817 and more, paid 59 percent. The top 10 percent of income earners, those earning $125,195 and up, paid 70 percent of all federal income taxes. The top 25 percent, those earning $73,354 and up, paid 86 percent. The bottom 50 percent, people earning $36,055 and less, paid a little less than 3 percent of federal income taxes. According to estimates by the Tax Policy Center, slightly over 45 percent of American households have no federal income tax liability. With this information in hand, you might ask the next person who says the rich do not pay their fair share of taxes: Exactly what percentage of total federal income taxes should the 1-percenters pay? I seriously doubt whether you will get any kind of coherent answer. By the way, since 1-percenter income starts at $435,000, it might be pointed out that $400,000 or $500,000 a year is not even yacht or Learjet money. Plus, if one has two kids in college, a big mortgage and car payments, I doubt he would declare himself rich.   http://www.frontpagemag.com/fpm/262019/what-fair-share-taxes-walter-williams

The Comprehensive Addiction and Recovery Act of 2016 states "The abuse of heroin and prescription pain-killers is having a devastating effect on public health and safety in communities across the United States." {investigativeproject.org} ~ Last Week's House Judiciary Committee discussion of a bill requesting the State Department evaluate classifying the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organization showcased the confirmation bias of the bill's Democratic opponents on the panel... Numerous examples of ties between the international Muslim Brotherhood and terrorist groups like Hamas and al-Qaida peppered the original draft of the bill introduced by Rep. Mario Diaz-Balart, R-Fla. However, Ranking Member Rep. John Conyers, D-Mich., made the oft-repeated assertion the organization had sworn off violence. {conservativetribune.com} ~ In a video recorded last year that only recently went viral, former Navy SEAL Dom Raso blasted Democrat presidential front-runner Hilly Clinton as an “ignorant” liar who once tried to “use the heroism of our nation’s armed forces to promote herself as the next commander in chief.”... He was referring to the way Clinton shamelessly claimed eight years ago that she had to dodge sniper fire while landing in Bosnia in 1996, when at the time she was serving as secretary of state. "Dishonesty is slump-Trump's hallmark," Romney said. {washingtonexaminer.com} ~ The Internet is abuzz with talk of a Donald slump-Trump "secret interview" on immigration. "Donald slump-Trump Secretly Told The New York Times What He Really Thinks About Immigration," was the headline on a Ben Smith story on Buzzfeed... reporting that the paper "is sitting on an audio recording that some of its staff believes could deal a serious blow to Donald slump-Trump, who, in an off-the-record meeting with the newspaper, called into question whether he would stand by his own immigration views." At issue is an editorial board interview slump-Trump did with the Times on January 5. According to Times columnist Gail Collins — if you don't know her, she's the journalist who made Mitt Romney's treatment of his dog a centerpiece of her 2012 presidential campaign coverage — slump-Trump told the Times something to the effect that he might not actually push for the deportation of all 11 million illegal immigrants in the United States "because it's going to be the first bid in some future monster negotiation session." In other words, the story goes, slump-Trump's tough talk on immigration is just talk. He doesn't really mean what he's been telling voters, who will be outraged when they find out that their presidential choice has not been honest with them. Or at least that's the story. http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/byron-york-when-trump-answered-the-secret-interview-immigration-question/article/2584553

.
{freedomsback.com} ~ When the dust settles on this wild and wacky GOP primary season, there will be at least one clear Biggest Loser: the Republican National Committee.
.
After 2012, when liberal journalists routinely hijacked the party’s 20 televised debates while cashing in on ratings and advertising revenue, the RNC resolved to change narrative-surrendering business as usual.
.
There would be no more cable TV anchors belligerently taking President nObama’s side while arguing with the GOP nominee (as Candy Crowley infamously did with Mitt Romney over Benghazi).
.
There would be no more former Democratic operatives-turned journalists injecting their left-wing social agenda into GOP primary forums (as Clinton adviser-turned-ABC newsman George Stephanopoulous did at the January 2012 Republican debate in New Hampshire when he pushed the Democrats’ War on Women propaganda by pressing Republicans on a nonsense contraceptive ban.)
.
And there would be real balance in the selection of moderators, through partnerships “with conservative media to make sure the concerns of grassroots Republicans are addressed.”
.
RNC chairman Reince Priebus declared in 2014 after the committee adopted measures to reassert control over the process: “The liberal media doesn’t deserve to be in the driver’s seat.”
.
How’s that working out? It’s the same old, same old. Last week’s debate hosted by CNN was commandeered by a Telemundo celebrity journalist Maria Celeste Arraras, known as “the Katie Couric of Spanish TV,” who soaked up nearly half the show representing “the Latino community” on issues such as Puerto Rico’s bankruptcy.
.
It shouldn’t have been a surprise to the RNC. She did the same during a Democratic presidential debate in 2004, when she argued with candidates about driver’s licenses for immigrants here illegally. The lone conservative token questioner, Salem radio talk show host Hugh Hewitt, received a fraction of the time. The infamous “screaming lady” in the audience earned far more buzz.
.
Hewitt had made an earlier appearance in the second debate hosted by CNN last September. But again, he was relegated to the margins. As even the left-wing New York Times pointed out, the network “came to the second Republican primary debate looking for a fight” along with an agenda of setting up “catfights” between Donald slump-Trump and the rest of the candidates.
.
Conservative blogger Scott Johnson of Power Line noted that instead of giving GOP voters “a chance to assess the strengths of the candidates and to pick the strongest candidate to achieve their objective…(CNN moderator) Jake Tapper had other ideas in mind. His consignment of Hugh Hewitt to the witness protection program is representative of his pursuit of other ideas.”
.
The third debate hosted by CNBC in Boulder was deemed a complete disaster by observers across the political spectrum. Instead of focusing on economics, as the network and RNC promised they would, the “moderators” made themselves the center of attention with trivial and condescending questions designed to instigate circus conflict between personalities instead of enlightening viewers about actual policy differences between candidates.
.
Again, this shouldn’t have been a surprise to the RNC. CNBC chief clown John Harwood had a long public record running interference for Hilly Clinton, denigrating conservative critics of nObamacare, and shrugging at convicted infant murderer and abortionist Kermit Gosnell.
.
As for giving actual conservatives a central chance to address the candidates directly, the RNC yielded to Google during the seventh debate in Iowa in January. We didn’t hear from grassroots voters who had their health insurance canceled because of nObamacare or business owners negatively affected by Dodd-Frank or victims of illegal alien crime who oppose amnesty.
.
Instead, the privileged questioners included a YouTube fashionista who had crossed the border illegally from Mexico as a child and a Muslim activist who spread debunked, CAIR-style propaganda about “Islamophobia” hate crimes in America.
.
The ninth debate hosted by CBS in South Carolina was moderated by John Dickerson, a Beltway liberal elite who called on President nObama to “Go for the Throat!” and “declare war on the Republican Party,” and to “pulverize” his political enemies over gun control, climate change and immigration. The event was remarkable not so much for any overt political bias as it was for a complete lack of control over both the candidates and the audience.
.
And, of course, no one remembers anything about the first debate other than the feud between Fox News Channel anchor Megyn Kelly and Donald slump-Trump.
.
The obvious, effective solution is to wrest control from mainstream media networks and hold debates sponsored by conservative media outlets with conservative journalists and broadcast/simulcast on neutral ground (hello, C-SPAN!). The RNC had one such debate in the works, but abandoned the idea last month.
.
For the candidates, continuing with these rigged charades is an exercise in futility and masochism. For the RNC, it’s suicide. By its passivity and complicity, the current batch of GOP enablers have proved that they don’t deserve to be in the driver’s seat.
