Super Tuesday voters have an important task ahead of them tomorrow. Their choices could very well decide the fate of the nation. We have let this election turn into a circus and it is time for it to stop. We cannot afford to be blinded by a slick talking shyster who tells us what we want to hear and feeds on our fears, and anger. It is time to be sober and thoughtful, to put away wild conspiracy theories and pointless arguments and vote with common sense. It is mind boggling how anyone who calls themselves a conservative can even consider Donald Trump a serious candidate, and yet we've let him get this far. Please for the sake out our country, all you Trump supporters, please reconsider. Too much is at stake to let that clown into office. We've already suffered enough with one petulant narcissist in the White House. Please super Tuesday voters, don't saddle us with another.

Columnist and playwright Jim Grimsley penned an editorial last week in the Los Angeles Times that accused white people—all white people—of being racist. Grimsley, who is white and grew up in Georgia at the tail-end of the Jim Crow era, railed against the cluelessness of white America on the issue of race. Even white people who consider themselves enlightened on racial issues, he argues, are often unaware of the racism that lurks within their own hearts. “…I have found that black people are all too aware that progress on racial issues has hardly moved forward at all, while white people are nearly as blind to their racism as ever,” he wrote.
I wish Grimsley had been clearer on one point—that is, whether white racism is cultural or genetic. Within the space of the same sentence he seems to blame both nature and nurture for white racism. Grimsely writes: “…[T]hese are symptoms of the insanity of white culture and our refusal to understand that racism is part of our makeup — each and every one of us, north, south, east and west — from cradle to grave.”
At first glance he seems to be blaming culture; he even identifies it by name. But look closer. If culture were to blame there would surely be exceptions to the rule because it couldn’t be “part of our makeup.” Learned behavior can be unlearned. Furthermore, no one would be racist in the cradle, as he asserts, because infants haven’t yet undergone socialization. Babies are blank slates upon which anything can be written.
The idea that white people are irredeemably racist is central to the social justice movement. All white people are racist, even good white liberals. White liberals may be a little better than some backwoods sharecropper with tobacco juice running down his shirt; but not by much. And they’re obtuse to boot.
Enter Tim Wise, another white southerner. He may be America’s best known “anti-racist activist” and he’s pretty extreme in his beliefs. Wise has made a career out of countering anti-black racism, most of which is entirely fictional, with anti-white racism. Even Wise admits to harboring certain racist tendencies though he blames it on growing up in a “white supremacist” culture. He nonetheless believes, despite his efforts to be the best friend black people have ever had, that he has internalized certain racist attitudes. And no, he isn’t talking about racist attitudes towards whites though that would at least be true. According to Tim Wise, icon of “anti-racism,” even Tim Wise can’t claim to have washed away the stain of racism. Without exception, all white people must be racist.
Allow me to depart here with most conservatives and say that white people, all white people, are at least a little racist. But so are all black people, all yellow people, and all brown people because racism is part of the human condition.
I don’t mean to imply that anyone is born with animus toward a particular race or ethnic group. At birth we don’t even know what racial or ethnic groups are. Yet contained within human nature are two of the necessary ingredients for racism—tribalism and generalization, without which racism would not exist. Let’s examine these.
Tribalism is the urge to care more about the group you belong to than the group that you don’t. This isn’t always negative but it can be. Tribalists don’t really care if The System offers maximum fairness to all people. They just want the best result for people who look, speak, and act like they do. This usually results in a lot of huddling together in groups—think of BET, FUBU, and the United Negro College Fund. Tribalists will, for example, take offense at the slogan “All Lives Matter” because to them only the lives of people with shared racial characteristics have value. They won’t admit that “Black Lives Matter” is chauvinistic, but who would?
It should be noted here that this attitude has existed in all time and in all places. The only societies in history that have even tried to resist the tribalist urge are modern Western societies—this is, white societies of the post-World War II era. If you regard tribalism as negative–and in most cases I do—then Europe and North America are actually paragons of virtue. Colorblindness is an idea that modern Westerners have strived for even if they have not perfectly achieved it. Within those societies, it’s the white majority that has been the most willing to suppress their instincts. Other races seem less enthused about colorblindness. They have demanded and received preference which they will cling to from now until eternity.
The second trend is generalization. Generalizations are mental shortcuts that come with certain pitfalls because they aren’t universally true. For example, not all Canadians like hockey but most do. In short, generalizations are useful even if they may sometimes steer us wrong. If a woman is walking home through a bad neighborhood it will help her to be on guard. She may be afraid of a young black male but not an elderly Japanese female. There’s a reason for that and it shouldn’t be dismissed as rank prejudice.
The idea that we’re born racist, something I think at least some social justice warriors would agree with as long as we’re discussing only white people, has certain ramifications. If we accept it (and I do), we must accept that racism will always exist. The war against racism can never be won but we can lose our freedom fighting it.
I’ve noticed that liberals often use human nature as an excuse for behaviors that would otherwise be rejected. If we have an urge, what’s the use of trying to suppress it? Consider homosexuality, for example, a behavior regarded as aberrant by nearly every society prior to the late Twentieth Century. Putting aside moral and religious arguments for a moment, homosexuality comes with certain health risks, particularly the male variety—rectal cancer, AIDS, gonorrhea, etc.
But don’t tell that to liberals. “Gays” are just “born that way” they argue with very little evidence. No “gay” gene has ever been found and studies indicate that children exposed to sexual abuse tend to become homosexuals. Liberals reject this notion because they believe that homosexuality is not a choice. Homosexuals therefore have no obligation to suppress their urges. Be your true to yourself, they say. Telling anyone that homosexuality is shameful is a form of abuse because it forces that person into the proverbial closet.
It’s a mystery to me how homosexuality differs from racism if they are both inborn traits. According to dogma, “gays” couldn’t stop being “gay” any more than a leopard could change his spots. But isn’t the same true of racists? If racists are born, not made, then even heavy guilt tactics won’t cure them. What’s the point of trying to make racists change? All of this “racist shaming” seems both pointless and destructive to its subjects.
As a certified “homophobe” I am often asked if “gays” choose to be “gay.” I always answer the same: yes, because people choose who they sleep with. That doesn’t satisfy the homofascists who always respond, “If being gay were a choice, who would choose it?”
They mean to imply that homosexuality carries a stiff social penalty, which it does not. Homosexuality is fashionable. Everybody’s doing it! Look at the way we celebrated Michael Sam and Jason Collins, the first openly homosexual athletes in the NFL and NBA, respectively. There’s reason to believe that Sam, a mediocre defensive lineman, would not have been drafted by the St. Louis Rams if he hadn’t announced during his senior year that he enjoys butt sex. Collins, a lackluster center, certainly wouldn’t have made the cover of Sport illustrated if he weren’t America’s first big league homosexual.
The social penalty for homosexuality is non-existent. The same cannot be said about the social penalty for racism. You can lose your job for the slightest episode of racism, real or perceived, which is really hypocritical in that everyone is at least a little racist.
A simple question demands to be answered: do people choose to be racist? If say you say no, then what’s the point of shaming them? They’re beyond reformation. If you say yes, that necessitates a follow-up question—if racism is a choice, who would choose it knowing that it would mean living life as a pariah? Certainly no one I know would knowingly accept the social penalty that comes with harboring forbidden thoughts. It must therefore be an inborn characteristic.

GOP Debate: Rubio and Cruz Finally Fight
Well, Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz obviously got the memo. They didn't exactly unite the clans in Thursday night's debate, but they sure did land some punches on Donald slump-Trump instead of each other. Rubio in particular unleashed a barrage of attacks on the casino mogul that left us wondering, where was this before slump-Trump locked up a third of voters as diehards and became a freight train? Frankly, Rubio and Cruz were both brilliant in assailing the frontrunner, hitting him on just about everything from his bankrupt business record to hiring illegal workers to his incoherent pronouncements to his tax returns and support of leftist causes, including the Clinton Foundation and a long list of Democrats.
Was Round 10 too late? Super Tuesday may answer that question. Until now, slump-Trump has largely skated unchallenged. Rubio calculated he'd be better off taking out Cruz, while Cruz slip streamed slump-Trump hoping to snag his voters when slump-Trump flamed out. Neither happened, and slump-Trump romped, largely unhindered by blows from real conservative candidates.
Here's a sampling of the punches:

Finally, we'll highlight what we thought was perhaps the night's funniest moment. After being challenged by Rubio on his health plan, slump-Trump, as usual, just said the same things over and over. Rubio, burned by that same charge two weeks ago, happily pointed out that slump-Trump was just repeating himself.
To which slump-Trump responded — we kid you not — "I don't repeat myself. I don't repeat myself. ... I don't repeat myself."
We certainly hope it's not too late for voters to realize that slump-Trump is not the answer. He's nothing but insanely idiotic bluster, repeated over and over and over again, ad nauseum. Here he is, trying to tangle with Ted Cruz, bizarrely claiming that judges "sign bills." Like they're the President or Governors or something... This is not "slump-Trump isn't a politician," this is "slump-Trump doesn't understand Civics 101." But what's always interesting to me is to watch the candidates and their surrogates in the post-debate coverage, when their guard is let down a little bit. In this case, slump-Trump was irrationally slamming Cruz again for John Roberts' existence, and John King asked him, "How would you prevent the same thing from happening?" In other words, you're being so critical of Ted Cruz, how would you make sure you didn't repeat that mistake? slump-Trump's answer was incredible. He said, basically, I have no idea. The Oscars provide Americans an opportunity to peek behind the curtain about the politics of the Hollywood elite. It is not a pretty sight. From accusations of racism to denunciations of global warming, each and every pronouncement comes chock full of two-faced hypocrisy.
Front and center, of course, was the effort to address the accusations of rank racism by the Hollywood elite for their failure to nominate a black actor or actress in Oscar categories for two years in a row. Chris Rock, the host of the night, asked "Is Hollywood racist? You damn right Hollywood's racist." Watching the liberal Hollywood elite call denouncing themselves almost made the Oscars worth watching. Almost.
Then there Leonardo DiCaprio proclaiming that "climate change is real" and "it is the most urgent threat facing the entire species." DiCaprio, according to the leaked Sony emails, happily availed himself of more than $200,000 worth of private jet travel in just six weeks in 2014. He also has proposed to create in Belize “the World’s first truly restorative island development – a development completely powered by renewable energy and designed to increase the biological health of species on the island and in the waters around it.” Too bad, that doing so requires the destruction of some of the finest fly fishing grounds in the world.
And let's not forget the speech by the screenwriter of "The Big Short" who warned voters of candidates who take money "weirdo billionaires." Without saying more, there is little doubt that Adam McKay is probably thinking of the Koch brothers when he said those words, but has little or no problem cuddling up to George Soros and Tom Steyer.
In Congress, this rank hypocrisy is on display, perhaps most vividly, by liberal Sen. Ed Markey (D-Mass). Markey introduced legislation to overturn the Supreme Court's Citizens United decision, comparing the decision, which allowed a private group to make a movie critical of Hillary Clinton, to the Dred Scott case.
If he truly believes millionaires and billionaires are purchasing Congress, what explains Mr. Markey's decision to send a letter to the Federal Trade Commission to help billionaire hedge fund owner Bill Ackman and his short bet against Herbalife, the nutritional supplement maker?
Ackman declared war on the company, taking a billion dollar short position (a bet that the stock would collapse) and then getting his friends on government to join the battle. Markey's letter was the tip of the spear. By attacking the company as an alleged pyramid scheme, Ackman hoped to make billions and Markey, and others, were more than willing to help
Since the letter was sent, Herbalife's stock has rebounded and Ackman's short position is costing him millions. Yet he still remains eager to find friends in Congress who will help make him richer. It is worth noting that Ackman is a prodigious giver to liberal members of Congress and the Democrat establishment. Not so surprising those liberals in Congress and the Obama Administration are more than happy to help him out.
Hollywood and Washington are full of hypocrites and that reality was on full display last night.

How to Attack slump-Trump
Instead of going after Donald slump-Trump, Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio have been relentlessly attacking each other. It's as if they think that whoever can destroy the other first will win second place. But second place is the first loser. And if the battle between the top two conservative candidates continues, then we'll be left with a non-conservative Donald slump-Trump.
On Thursday night, however, Cruz and Rubio went on offense against slump-Trump, attacking his background, his record, his ideology, his proposals, his speaking style and more. Last night, slump-Trump's two strongest challengers finally realized that failing to go after the frontrunner and failing to draw clear distinctions between his record and theirs is a losing strategy. Time will tell if they waited too long.
If slump-Trump is not exposed now, then he will win the nomination and face an onslaught of relentless attack ads from the entire Democrat machine, including the Leftmedia. The mainstream media are keeping their powder dry, enjoying this ratings bonanza until slump-Trump secures the nomination. Then they'll destroy him.
So what exactly should Rubio and Cruz attack slump-Trump for? There's plenty to go on.
First, they could go after what Stuart Stevens, who was Mitt Romney's senior strategist, calls "the essence of Donald slump-Trump." He notes, "Donald slump-Trump is a ridiculous figure. He's not a particular business success. Four bankruptcies! He doesn't have a junior-high-school-level understanding of policy — he doesn't know what the nuclear triad is. You've got to turn to Donald slump-Trump in a debate and say, 'You're a ridiculous figure. You don't know what you're talking about. And this tariff idea will cost jobs, it will damage the economy, just like you bankrupted Atlantic City.'" (Granted, Romney lost, but his senior strategist is pointing out a lesson learned: If you don't go after a candidate for who he is, then you'll lose. Romney rarely went after nObama for who he was — a narcissistic socialist who despises the very things that made America great. And he lost.)
Second, Cruz and Rubio could explain that slump-Trump's business record is very questionable, specifically that under his leadership he bankrupted a casino, that he has already declared his support of Planned Parenthood and nObamaCare (including praising a single-payer system), that he's faking his religion simply to appeal to evangelicals, and that his whole life has been about him and not the average worker.
Next on the short list is slump-Trump's "tough on immigration" stance. The issue is one of the most pressing concerns for conservatives, and slump-Trump has capitalized on this better than any other candidate. This has led to what Charles Murray of the American Enterprise Institute calls "slump-Trumpism". Murray, among others, recognizes that government officials from both parties have failed miserably on immigration policy, and that American workers are suffering because of it.
He notes, "There is nothing conservative about how they want to fix things. [Voters] want a now indifferent government to act on their behalf, big time. If Bernie Sanders were passionate about immigration, the rest of his ideology would have a lot more in common with slump-Trumpism than conservatism does."
But slump-Trump's rhetoric on immigration is quite the opposite of his deeds. In fact it's downright hypocritical. At slump-Trump's highly regarded private club Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, he hired only 17 American citizens out of 300 applicants for positions such as waiter, waitress, cook and housekeeper, opting instead for mostly foreign workers. This is quite ironic given slump-Trump's criticism of Disney for hiring foreign workers under the H1-B Visa program. It turns out slump-Trump and nObama would get along just fine.
Finally, Cruz and Rubio should turn up the heat on slump-Trump to release his tax records. Doing so will reveal to voters where his loyalties truly reside and will very likely show lavish support for leftist causes. Simply follow the money.

Christian clerk Kim Davis was thrown into jail for not issuing marriage licenses to homosexual couples. Ted Cruz led the charge, “I Stand with Kim Davis!” Cruz said, “I call upon every believer, every Constitutionalist, every lover of liberty to stand with Kim Davis.”
Trump sided against Kim Davis. Trump said, “You have to go with it. The decision has been made, and that is the law of the land.”

Robertson was suspended from his hit TV show, intensely hated and accused of spreading hate. Public outcry got Phil back on his TV show.
Phil Robertson endorsed Ted Cruz and spoke at a Cruz rally. Robertson rocked the house, receiving long enthusiastic applause when he said Americans should spend more time being biblically-correct rather than politically-correct.
Remember the attack on a bakery owned by a young Christian couple with five kids? A lesbian who the bakery had served for years, asked for a cake for her wedding to a woman. The bakers said doing so would betray their faith. The bakers, Aaron and Melissa Klein, were state ordered to pay the lesbian couple $135,000 in damages. The Kleins were also ordered not to speak publicly about their case; repealing their First Amendment rights.
Now get this folks, Christians around the country sent funds to a website to pay the Klein's fine. Homosexual activists successfully closed down the website. Another website picked up the baton to save the Klein family's livelihood. Clearly, the fine was not about paying the lesbian couple. It was about punishing the Kleins; sending a message to Christians and Christian business owners across America. Buck us and we will destroy you.
Aaron Klein posted, “We stand for God's truth, God's Word and freedom for ALL Americans... We are here to obey God, not man, and we will not conform to this world. If we were to lose everything, it would be totally worth it for our Lord who gave His one and only son, Jesus, for us! God will win this fight!”
If we know nothing else about Ted Cruz, we know he has proven himself to be a man of great faith and a man of his word. Ted Cruz vows that on his first day as president, he will direct the DOJ and IRS to put an end to the persecution of religious liberty.
Cruz also vows to drop the Obama Administration's lawsuit against Little Sisters of the Poor who have been ministering to the elderly and dying for over 100 years. The nuns said their faith prevents them from funding contraception as mandated in Obamacare. The Obama Administration says screw your faith, comply, or be disbanded.
Cruz's first day in the White House, includes a promise to instruct the DOJ to investigate the videos exposing the reprehensible evil behind the walls of Planned Parenthood. The vile government funded baby killers have been proven to be nothing more than an abortion factory and dead-baby-body-parts chop shop. Cruz wants the DOJ to prosecute PP for any criminal violations.

The Only Way to Beat slump-Trump?
Once upon a time, the idea of Donald slump-Trump's securing the Republican nomination for the presidency existed only in the realm of fantasy. But as primaries in four states now reside in the history books, and The slump-Donald has claimed three wins and 81 delegates, fantasy is merging with possibility, if not quite yet reality.
True, slump-Trump has a long way to go to reach the 1,237 delegates needed to cinch the nomination, but with Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio a distant second and third (17 and 16 delegates, respectively), and the slump-Trump train racing full-speed ahead, Republican "leadership" sentiment is shifting from "It will never happen" to "We'd better make sure it never happens."
Short of slump-Trump's dropping out (sorry folks, not happening) or a sudden political catastrophe that stops his momentum — very unlikely since the more crazy things he says, the more his supporters like him — some are positing that a Rubio-Cruz unity ticket might be the way to derail the slump-Trump train. Jonah Goldberg, for example, wrote, "One possibility [to stop slump-Trump) would be for Rubio and Cruz to cut a deal. Republican disarray is largely attributable to the fact that no so-called 'establishment candidate' secured much support from the conservative grass roots, and no grass-roots candidate secured much support from the establishment. If the two factions — which make up the overwhelming majority of Republican voters — could be unified, it might be enough to stop slump-Trump."
Of course, the key word is "if." And judging by the present state of affairs, it's a pretty hefty "if."
After all, the Cruz-Rubio feud has pitted the two against each other in an attempt to "out-conservative" the other, while slump-Trump — anything but a conservative — climbs atop the mayhem en route to the plurality podium.
As Mark Alexander noted yesterday, "Shamefully, one of the key factors propelling slump-Trump's candidacy among the larger field of contenders is the absurdly self-defeating fratricidal attacks between Republicans, most notably Cruz and Rubio." Cruz is trying to paint Rubio as an "establishment" candidate. ROMNEY’S TIMELY slump-TRUMP TROLLING Donald slump-Trump argues that Mitt Romney is in no position to be asking for the 2016 Republican frontrunner’s tax returns on the grounds that Romney lost the 2012 general election. Romney is also, slump-Trump wrote, a “dope.”
But Romney is arguably the very best Republican to be asking slump-Trump about his tax returns given how successfully Democrats exploited Romney’s filings to alienate potential voters. Democrats essentially called Romney a tax cheat for his low rates and the attack stuck. And it is a line, in some form or another, which Democrats will be sure to repeat against the billionaire slump-Trump if he becomes the Republican nominee.
Romney began releasing his tax returns amid pressure from his rivals in early Republican primaries in 2012. But because slump-Trump’s rivals have neglected to actually attack the frontrunner very much, slump-Trump is only just now being pressed on this crucial general election issue.
Romney’s troll timing is perfect. slump-Trump is either less than a week away from starting to put the Republican nomination in the bag or facing lengthening odds in his unlikely but so-far successful quest. He is also facing tonight what promises to be his most challenging debate yet. slump-Trump’s detractors to this point have mostly knocked slump-Trump for insufficient conservativeness, or flip flopping, or being of poor character. But voters primarily interested in conservative orthodoxy and personal virtue are probably not part of slump-Trump’s long-term coalition. slump-Trump’s voters don’t seem to care about his politics. They just want a winner.
What few have hit the frontrunner on are his business failures and the unhappy chapters of his career. His business troubles and his finances have been a long-running part of slump-Trump’s media feuds in the past but have oddly not been part of the political discussion. The lyric in the classic Eagles song says, “...standing on a corner in Winslow Arizona...” Thanks to our latest boots-on-the-ground political adventure, my wife Mary and I can say we have been there. Our Conservative Campaign Committee team campaigned all over Nevada for Ted Cruz. Now, we are driving to Texas to campaign for Cruz. We drove all day today and decided to spend the night in Winslow, Arizona.
Mary and I are east coast people. Driving through Arizona is pretty enjoyable; snow-caped blue mountains, breathtaking rock formations and beautiful massive scenic settings; scenes from countless cowboy movies. Big sky country, folks.
While riding, I thought about the sad state of our country. Everything that has made America great and exceptional is in the process of being dismantled; individual liberty, personal responsibility and biblical inspired traditional values. Our remarkably wise founders built America on the rock-solid foundation of Christian faith. And yet, God is being systematically banned from public conversation and consideration.
Some folks believe it is too late. They say give up trying to restore our country. Turn off the lights. The America envisioned by our founding fathers has left the building.
But folks, we still have a chance, though possibly our last, to save our founders' America.
The recent GOP presidential debate was described as WWF (wrestling), kids fighting and a circus filled with clowns. Ted Cruz was the one and only man on that debate stage who clearly proved himself a true character-driven statesman, worthy of occupying We the Peoples' Oval Office.
Restoring religious liberty, freedom to choose your doctor and giving power back to the people are high on the list of changes Cruz promises to make on his first day as president.
This is why we are going to Texas to help Cruz win his home state. Also, I hear Texans really know how to cook an American bison burger.

Former NSA Chief Skeptical of FBI's Backdoor Demand When news broke last week that the FBI was demanding a backdoor into the iPhone of a San Bernardino terrorist, we cautioned that doing so wasn't just a case of breaking into just this one phone this one time. The FBI was really asking two things: a backdoor to iPhones in general, and a legal precedent for using it. Apple is fighting the demand.
They're not alone. No less than Michael Hayden, the former chief of both the NSA and CIA as well as a retired four-star Air Force general, isn't convinced the government is right. "In this specific case," he said, "I'm trending toward the government, but I've got to tell you in general I oppose the government's effort, personified by FBI Director Jim Comey. Jim would like a backdoor available to American law enforcement in all devices globally. And, frankly, I think on balance that actually harms American safety and security, even though it might make Jim's job a bit easier in some specific circumstances."
Indeed, the government has more phones for Apple to crack.
Hayden also said rather honestly, "Look, I used to run the NSA, okay? Backdoors are good. Please, please, Lord, put back doors in, because I and a whole bunch of other talented security services around the world — even though that back door was not intended for me — that backdoor will make it easier for me to do what I want to do, which is to penetrate. ... But when you step back and look at the whole question of American security and safety writ large, we are a safer, more secure nation without backdoors [because] a lot of other people would take advantage of it."
And speaking of precedents, Apple CEO Tim Cook noted, "If a court can ask us to write this piece of software, think about what else they could ask us to write. Maybe it's an operating system for surveillance. Maybe it's the ability for law enforcement to turn on the camera. I mean I don't know where this stops." In other words, what is the limiting principle for government power?

Rick Perry Cleared of Governing While Republican After costing him time, money, effort and possibly tarnishing his presidential bid, former Texas Governor Rick Perry on Wednesday was finally cleared of charges that he abused his office when he threatened a veto and then issued it in 2013. His real crime? "Governing While Republican."
Perry said he would veto a bill funding the state's Public Integrity Unit if its head, then-Travis County District Attorney Rosemary Lehmberg, didn't step down. Why? Lehmberg had been arrested for driving with a blood alcohol level three times the legal limit, and she was so belligerent with police officers that they strapped her into a restraint chair and slipped a spit mask over her. When she refused to resign, Perry vetoed the bill.
To a Democrat-influenced grand jury, Perry's actions of, well, governing, meant he coerced a public servant and abused his office, and they issued an indictment. But Judge P.J. Keller, who wrote the court's majority opinion dismissing the case, disagreed. "No law passed by the Legislature can constitutionally make the mere act of vetoing legislation a crime," Keller wrote, and the court system cannot "examine the motives behind the veto or second-guess the validity of a veto." Nevertheless, the frivolous prosecution did serve the Left's goal: to stall a strong conservative's political career. How much more support could the cowboy-boot wearing governor have generated if donors and voters weren't wary that the indictment would stick?

Last year, the bleedin' heart liberals lost their collective mind over the fact that dentist Walter Palmer shot and killed a lion named Cecil during a hunting trip to Zimbabwe. Big whoop. Hunters go to Africa. They kill animals, and the licensing fees help the conservation efforts on the continent. But thanks to the outcry, hunters are no longer booking trips to the African Savanna. Now, the place where "Cecil the Lion" was bagged and tagged is facing a bit of a lion problem. The lion population at Bubye Valley Conservancy has ballooned to more than 500 felines. Combined with a dry summer that caused the grassland to grow stunted, the lions are laying waste to the other animal populations. As a result, the conservancy is saying it might have to go out and kill 200 lions. "The astronomical fees foreign hunters paid to shoot animals in Africa directly supported the continent's conservation efforts," wrote The Truth About Guns' Nick Leghorn. "It was a mutually beneficial, self-sustaining system. Now that the hunters are gone, there isn't enough money to support Hwange National Park's operation and the ecosystem is out-of-whack. Lions will be killed, anyway, without any of hunting's enormous economic benefits." Furthermore, think of the economic loss to the region. Think of the lost jobs, the money not coming into the area because there are not the hunters willing to pay for lodging, food, transportation and guides. Anti-hunting groups had their field day, but they aren't going to be concerned about the effects of their rabid protesting.

With Thursday night’s debate in Houston Texas, Donald Trump made one thing absolutely crystal clear…that he’s a thin-skinned, inflamed egress on the southbound end of a northbound baboon.
Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio seemed to have taken the advice I set forth earlier in the week, and for the most part, put their petty differences with one another aside and went after Donald Trump to exposed him as the liberal/progressive agenda backing anything but a Conservative candidate that he is.
Throughout the entire debate, Trump steadfastly refuse to provide a single direct answer to a myriad of direct questions and once again, failed to provide a single element of substance to support any single campaign promise he’s made.
Not only that, but mister anti-illegal alien was finally outed, for the world to see, as having hired illegal aliens during the building of Trump Tower and for having had been fined a million dollars by a court for doing so.
In fact, here is just one exchange of many that outed Trump in that debate.
