WASHINGTON (AP) — China and "one or two" other countries are capable of mounting cyberattacks that would shut down the electric grid and other critical systems in parts of the United States, according to Adm. Michael Rogers, director of the National Security Agency and head of U.S. Cyber Command.

The possibility of such cyberattacks by U.S. adversaries has been widely known, but never confirmed publicly by the nation's top cyber official.
At a hearing of the House intelligence committee, Rogers said U.S. adversaries are performing electronic "reconnaissance" on a regular basis so that they can be in a position to disrupt the industrial control systems that run everything from chemical facilities to water treatment plants.
"All of that leads me to believe it is only a matter of when, not if, we are going to see something dramatic," he said.
Outside experts say the U.S. Cyber Command also has the capability to hack into and damage critical infrastructure, which in theory should amount to mutual deterrence. But Rogers, who did not address his offensive cyber tools, said the nuclear deterrence model did not necessarily apply to cyberattacks.
Only a handful of countries had nuclear capability during the Cold War, he said, and nuclear attacks could be detected and attributed in time to retaliate.
By contrast, the source of a cyberattack can easily be disguised, and the capability do significant damage is possessed not only by nation states but by criminal groups and individuals, Rogers noted.
In cyberspace, "You can literally do almost anything you want, and there is not a price to pay for it," the NSA director said.
Roger's remarks about critical infrastructure attacks came in response to questioning from Republican Mike Rogers of Michigan, who chairs the intelligence committee. He asked the NSA director about a private report detailing China-based intrusions into the power grid and other critical systems that appeared to be precursors to attack. What other countries, the chairman wanted to know, have the capability?
"One or two others," the NSA director said, but he declined to name them, saying the information is classified. "We're watching multiple nation states invest in this capability."
Rogers said the Obama administration is seeking to establish a set of international principles governing military cyber operations, such as banning attacks on hospitals.
"We need to define what would be offensive, what's an act of war," he said.
The NSA's Rogers also talked about the national security damage from the ongoing theft of intellectual property through cyberattacks.
Michigan's Rogers opened the hearing by saying that "China's economic cyber espionage ... has grown exponentially in terms of volume and damage done to our nation's economic future. The Chinese intelligence services that conduct these attacks have little to fear because we have no practical deterrents to that theft. This problem is not going away until that changes."
China formally denies stealing Western intellectual property through government sponsored hacking.
U.S. networks would be better protected, the NSA's Rogers said, if Congress would pass a long-pending bill to allow companies to share malware signatures and other threat information with one another and with the government and be protected from liability by doing so. But the disclosures of NSA spying by former agency contractor Edward Snowden have made passage of such a bill extremely difficult, lawmakers say.

You see because of your failure to honor your oath of office we find ourselves at a point that POLITICS AS USUAL is not sufficient, in fact it is a sad testimony of the lack of either understanding the gravity of our situation or courage in the face of an enemy that is determined through “FUNDAMENTAL CHANGE” to destroy 240 years of our history, heritage, culture, and faith. These four points are the foundation of our nation and the source of our prosperity and strength. These ladies and gentlemen are the HEART OF OUR CONSTIUTION that you swore to “DEFEND FROM ALL ENEMIES FOREIGN AND DOMESTIC”.
In light of all that has been perpetrated over the years since November 2008 it should be obvious to any one of you that has had experience as a prosecutor that this administration reeks of a CONSPIRACY so pervasive it has compromised the whole executive branch of government and possibly some amongst you also. We have not had a credible DEPT OF JUSTICE since they have come to power. They have turned Washington D.C. into a gigantic Chicago, with the District Attorney (Justice Dept.), Mayor’s office (President), Judges (federal courts possibly including SCOTUS) all in line and under control. A metro man is in jail accused of attacking another man over religion differences.
On Monday authorities responded to a 911 about an assault in the 1400 block of Northeast 11th Street.
Upon their arrival, officers learned the victim, Jerome Bullockand 54-year-old Jimmy Stepney had been arguing about the Bible and the Quran.
The report went on to say Stepney had been making comments about beheading people.
“We were watching the news,” said Bullock. “He said he felt like more Muslims need to step up to the plate and do certain thing. He was talking about beheading people.“
Because of the statement, Bullock says he asked Stepney, who’d been staying with the family, to leave.
Stepney complied but eventually came back and started arguing with Bullock.
According to the arrest affidavit, the pair began fighting in the yard after Stepney allegedly punched the victim.
Witnesses told officers that Stepney had a knife and was attempting to stab the victim. That’s when Bullock’s mother, Diane Range, came out with a baseball bat and started swinging at Stepney.
“He was trying to kill my son,” said Range.
Bullock suffered minor cuts from the fight and Stepney was able to walk away.
“I was just trying to pay it forward by helping him out,” said Bullock. “Instead I got a lot of cuts and hurt feelings.”
Stepney is charged with assault with a dangerous weapon and assault and battery.

NEW YORK (JTA) — A 23-year-old Brooklyn man was arrested for assaulting an Orthodox Jewish couple in Manhattan this summer.
A New York Police Department spokesman confirmed to JTA that Mustafa Mashni was charged with assault, as first reported on the Jpupdates website.
The victims, in their 20s, were walking on the Upper East Side at approximately 8 p.m. Aug. 25 when several vehicles, including a motorcycle adorned with Palestinian flags, pulled up to them. The occupants yelled several anti-Semitic slurs, threw a bottle of water at the woman and punched the man in the head. Police believe he was targeted because he was wearing a kipah.
According to Jpupdates, Mashni told detectives with the NYPD’s Hate Crimes Task Force that he had wanted to stop the confrontation when he approached the Jewish male but accidentally hit him in in the face.
Mashni had been arrested three times previously by New York Police, Jpupdates reported.

And now, the moment you’ve all been waiting for: Barack Obama’s executive order on immigration. The Wall Street Journal reports, “President Barack Obama will announce changes to the U.S. immigration system in a speech from the White House on Thursday night, moves that are expected to protect more than four million people from deportation while sparking an ugly fight with Republicans, who say he is overstepping his authority.” There may be surprises in his announcement, but the Journal reports on two things we already expected: “Illegal immigrants receiving new protections would include those who have been in the U.S. for at least five years and who are parents of U.S. citizens or of legal permanent residents, according to two people briefed on Mr. Obama’s plan. The president will also make more people eligible for a program that gives safe harbor from deportation to young people who were brought into the U.S. illegally as children, people briefed on the plan say.” Obama claims he’ll use his “lawful authority” to do this, but in truth, it’s a lawless political stunt to make him the center of attention and to pander to Latinos. As if to illustrate the point, the White House insists that criticism of Obama as an “emperor” is “a badge of honor.” More…
In the eleventh hour before he announces his unconstitutional immigration executive order, Barack Obama is pulling together coalitions to protect himself from opposition. On Wednesday, he invited Democrat congressional leaders – including the leaders of the Black, Asian and Hispanic caucuses – to dinner to explain his executive order. Republican lawmakers were not invited. And when he gives his speech Thursday night, it will be broadcast to the Latinos who tuned into Univision to see the Latin Grammys, while the other big television networks think “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Bones” and “The Biggest Loser” are too important to interrupt with Obama’s speech. Meanwhile, Sen. Tom Coburn (R-OK) warned that Obama’s grossly unconstitutional move could result in a further breakdown of the law. “The country’s going to go nuts,” Coburn said, “because they’re going to see it as a move outside the authority of the president, and it’s going to be a very serious situation. You’re going to see – hopefully not – but you could see instances of anarchy. … You could see violence.” More…
Heritage Foundation scholar Hans von Spakovsky notes that some media outlets are pointing to immigration executive orders issued by Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush to say, 1. Barack Obama’s coming order is not a big deal and 2. Conservatives are hypocrites for opposing it. This is flat out wrong, says Spakovsky: “[T]his claim plays a bit fast-and-loose with history and fails to explain the significant difference between Obama going against the will of Congress, which considered and rejected the Development, Relief, and Education for Alien Minors (DREAM) Act on several occasions, including when both houses of Congress were controlled by the president’s party, and Reagan and Bush who made administrative corrections designed to carry out congressional intent. Article 1, Section 8 of the Constitution gives Congress exclusive authority to ‘establish an uniform Rule of Naturalization….’ And it is the president’s constitutional duty, under Article II, Section 3, to ‘take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed….’” Specifically, Spakovsky writes, in 1987 “Reagan was not defying Congress, but rather carrying out the general intent of Congress which had just passed a blanket amnesty for millions of illegal immigrants.” And Bush’s action, which affected about 140,000 people, “was well within the authority delegated to the executive branch and a ‘legitimate exercise of prosecutorial discretion.’” This isn’t to defend either previous policy, but only to say this is apples and oranges both in scope and intent. The Democrats' rejection of the Keystone XL pipeline show the party would rather allow one of their own to suffer defeat in re-election than vote for something the ecofacists oppose. Sen. Mary Landrieu (D-LA) pushed the bill forward because Keystone would bring jobs and industry to her state. But Tom Steyer, the billionaire environmentalist who poured millions into Democrats' campaigns, opposes the project – even going so far as to threaten to campaign against Landrieu. So the vote failed. The new Democrat Party only concerns itself with the purity of its ideology. The Wall Street Journal writes, “With a few exceptions, the Democrats who will remain in the Senate next year are either gentry liberals themselves or are too afraid to risk losing the green cash on which they have become dependent. Either way, Tom Steyer owns them.” Sen. Harry Reid should never rise again to speak about the influence of dark money in American politics, for he would be speaking against his fellow Democrats. According to Remote Sensing Systems satellite data, the global warming hiatus is now 18 years old. This lull, it’s important to note, was not predicted by a single climate model. EPA Administrator Gina McCarthy nevertheless lectured Americans earlier this week on the importance of distinguishing weather from climate. The hiatus “is a short-lived issue that doesn’t represent climate,” she said. How much time then will it take for ecofascists to finally consider the pause a climate trend and not a weather outlier? Alarmists are always quick to exploit heat waves – or what they call “weather” during cold snaps – across any said portion of the globe as evidence of “climate change”; why doesn’t a nearly two-decade-old pause count? The answer to that lies in the EPA’s statist power grab. McCarthy added, “If you look at the science … nothing tells us we are being overly aggressive.” Nothing except common sense and inconvenient truths.More…
Reinterpreting his oath to “support and defend” the Constitution as a vow to subvert and disdain it, Barack Obama plans to announce this evening his executive order on illegal immigration, essentially renouncing Rule of Law and paving the way for millions of illegal aliens to escape deportation and be rewarded for their law-breaking. The president’s infamous pen is poised to make the executive order official Friday. It’s fitting that he’ll place his bet in Las Vegas.
Already, congressional Republicans, empowered by their recent election win, have a plan to stop the president’s unconstitutional breach of executive power and once and for all stand courageously for Rule of Law and our nation’s legislative process.
Or, maybe not quite.
Instead, GOP leaders have come up with a questionable idea to borrow from Jonathan Gruber’s playbook and capitalize on the “stupidity of the America voter.” The would be to make it appear as if congressional Republicans are standing up against the president’s plan when, in fact, they are funding it.
It all comes down to that little “r” word: rescission, the process by which Congress revokes funding previously authorized through the legislative process.
Under the rescission approach, Republicans would pass an appropriations bill to continue funding the government – hardly an unusual occurrence. However, this bill would include funding for the president’s amnesty plan. Then, after the fact, Congress would pass a bill revoking said funding.
You see, all that’s needed to override a rescission vote is a presidential veto. And if you think Barack Obama might miss an opportunity to veto a bill pulling funding from his amnesty plan, then perhaps Gruber was right in his evaluation of voters.
So why is the GOP seemingly intent on this fool’s errand? Because the other options may actually require a confrontation Republicans aren’t willing to face as they dance with public opinion. And, it’s important to note, they don’t yet control the Senate.
But there are other options. As Josh Siegel of The Daily Signal points out, the GOP could “[p]ass two separate funding bills – a short-term bill holding back funding for immigration enforcement agencies such as the Department of Homeland Security and another measure funding the rest of the government for a full year.”
A second option would be a Continuing Resolution (CR), which would be a short-term funding bill that would allow the new Congress to take up the issue again when they convene early next year – ideally with enough backbone to withhold any funding from the president’s amnesty-to-work scheme.
Unfortunately, recollections of last year’s government shutdown still loom, and should Republicans pass a CR that does not fund amnesty and Obama refuses to sign it a partial government shutdown could ensue – a risk many Republicans are unwilling to take.
By going the rescission route, Republican leadership can gain the desirable sound bite: “We voted to pull funding from the president’s amnesty plan.” In that case, the truth would be that they voted against amnesty, but only after they voted to allow it.
It’s not likely that Ferguson, Missouri, police officer Darren Wilson will be indicted for the August killing of Michael Brown. Civil rights charges are also unlikely. But that doesn’t mean troublemakers aren’t out in force in the St. Louis suburb. They’re waiting to pounce when the grand jury makes its decision, possibly Friday.
Indeed, Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon declared a state of emergency in preparation for the decision, and he activated the National Guard to help handle any possible riots.
Protesters are better organized now than rioters were in August. While outside groups from the New Black Panthers to Tibetan Monks came when the riots and protests first broke out, some lifelong protesters have stayed to prepare for when the decision on Wilson is handed down. They’re teaching classes on “militant non-violent disobedience.”
Community organizer Rev. Osagyefo Sekou explained, “[W]e use the word ‘militant’ as opposed to the word ‘passive’ non-violent civil disobedience because we are about a direct encounter with the state to create drama to show that we are willing to take a risk in confronting the state because of injustice.”
A video shows protest organizers planning on targeting the white neighborhoods of Ferguson. Many in the community are boarding up businesses, stockpiling food and purchasing firearms.
Meanwhile, police and protesters are negotiating 19 rules of engagement for police officers monitoring protests. Some of the rules reinforce what the Constitution already says, like rule 19: “Bond for arrestees will not be set above the levels which would be considered average over the last two years, and arrestees will not be held for periods longer than average lengths of time.” Other rules limit the power that the police wielded on the streets of Ferguson in the past. Rule 15 says, “Police will be instructed to be tolerant of more minor lawbreaking (such as thrown water bottles) when deciding whether to escalate the use of force.”
Perhaps some of this organization and preparation is because, as Al Sharpton recounted, Barack Obama met with protesters and encouraged them to “stay on course.” It’s hard to say exactly what that means, other than to speculate based on the administration’s race-baiting agenda that they want some unrest.
All the better to distract blacks from Obama’s amnesty executive order, which will open the flood gates for job and wage competition for blacks, who already suffer from high unemployment.
Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-MO) justified the grotesque behavior of the rabble. “The rush to judgment by some in the African-American community is, in fact, understandable,” she said, “because in our country there are racial disparities in terms of how people are treated.”
Rep. John Lewis (D-GA) took that sentiment further, comparing Ferguson to civil rights events in Selma, Alabama: “When we were beaten on that bridge in Selma, people couldn’t take it, for they saw it, they heard about it, they read about it, and it lit a sense of righteous indignation. When we see a miscarriage of justice in Ferguson, they’re going to have the same reaction they had towards Selma.” He called for nationwide protests if Officer Wilson isn’t indicted.
Michael Brown’s parents certainly think there’s a case to be made, and they took it to the UN Committee Against Torture. Brown’s mother, Lesley McSpadden, said, “We need the world to know what’s going on in Ferguson and we need justice. We need answers and we need action. And we have to bring it to the UN so they can expose it to the rest of the world.”
Expose what – that their son, likely impaired by marijuana, robbed a convenience store, assaulted a police officer and got himself killed? And what do his parents expect from the UN, which is itself a collection of thug dictatorships that murder their own citizens? We hate to pile on grief-stricken parents, but this is beyond the pale.
This is nothing like Selma, and it’s not an “understandable” reaction to “racial disparities.”
Lost in all of this is Officer Wilson. In the court of public opinion, Wilson has been tried and found guilty. But Claire McCaskill doesn’t seem to mind. She said, “Once their investigations are complete, Officer Wilson will either be indicted, and then of course he will be removed from the police department, or he will not be indicted, in which case Officer Wilson has to decide what the future holds for him.” That’s an awfully cavalier attitude to have toward a man whose life has been upended and threatened.
Ferguson is at a tipping point. Police and protesters each have an opportunity to acquit themselves better than they did in August. But things aren’t looking promising.

One law for sojourner and citizen
On the eve of the occupant of the Oval Office's predicted Executive Order to provide amnesty citizenship to some five million or more illegal aliens, there is a lot of political rhetoric, but not much action. Reuters reports that the "president" will announce his unilateral plan to bypass Congress tonight at 8:00 pm. Reuters also reports that Congressman Paul Ryan (R-Wi) "called the plan a "partisan bomb" while a spokesman for House Speaker John Boehner branded the president "Emperor Obama" for acting unilaterally." That's all well and good, but what are these men doing to put a stop to this act that violates the Constitution? Court action? Impeachment? Talk is cheap. We elected them to take action.
Senator Tom Colburn (R-Ok) told Capitol Download, "Instead of having the rule of law handling in our country today, now we're starting to have the rule of rulers, and that's the total antithesis of what this country was founded on. Here's how people think: Well, if the law doesn't apply to the president ... then why should it apply to me?" The big difference here, of course, is that the federal government will use its full force and power to track you down and make sure you comply with the law. We the People have elected representatives to hold the "president" accountable. And there is a tremendous gap of accountability equality in this country. Presidents should not be above the law, but this one is.
The news media is trying to compare it to President Ronald Reagan signing the 1986 Immigration Reform and Control Act. That was legislation, not an Executive Order. It required employers to attest to their employees' immigration status;made it illegal to knowingly hire or recruit illegals; legalized certain seasonal agricultural illegal immigrants, and; legalized illegal immigrants who could prove they entered the US before January 1, 1982 and had resided there continuously with the penalty of a fine, back taxes due, and admission of guilt; They were required to prove that they were not guilty of crimes, and that they possessed minimal knowledge about US history, government, and the English language.
An illegal act, such as the one the current "president" is taking makes illegals even more illegal. He has created this problem by refusing to secure the borders. His executive order appears to break the current law The entire episode is a sordid political deal in which Republicans may turn a blind eye in order to get Democratic support for the Keystone Pipeline. What ever happened to just doing the right thing? The Bible says in Leviticus 24:22, "You shall have one manner of law, as well for the stranger, as for one of your own country: for I am the LORD your God." Giving illegals the special privilege of citizenship without due process creates inequity and will create further problems for America in the future.
According to a report in POLITICO, President Obama is expected to make good on his executive amnesty threat on Friday during an event in Las Vegas, despite saying repeatedly over the years that he does not have the authority to change immigration laws from the Oval Office.
House Speaker John Boehner, who warned the President shortly after the 2014 midterm elections that acting alone on immigration would “poison the well,” has taken notice of Obama’s past statements. After some research, his office found President Obama directly claimed 22 times he couldn’t take executive action on immigration because he doesn’t have the authority.
Over the weekend President Obama was questioned during an overseas trip about his change in position with executive action looming and tried to argue his position on the extent of his authority to change immigration law hasn’t changed at all.
“Actually, my position hasn’t changed. When I was talking to the advocates, their interest was in me, through executive action, duplicating the legislation that was stalled in Congress,” Obama told reporters.
When Obama says he was speaking with “advocates,” he’s referring to radio interviews on programs with open-border hosts, at La Raza events and during a number of interviews conducted by Univision and Telemundo. Here are a few examples…
Poll: Many Latinos Disapprove of Obama’s Executive Amnesty
A new NBC poll shows Latinos do not overwhelmingly support President Obama’s decision to thwart Congress on amnesty through executive action.
Nearly half of Americans disapprove of President Barack Obama’s expected plan to take executive action that would potentially allow millions of undocumented immigrants to stay legally in the United States, according to a new NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll.
Latinos are divided, with 43 percent supporting the action and 37 percent opposing it. But the sample size here is small (just 110 Latino respondents), so the numbers have a high margin of error.
There’s just a six percent difference in Latinos who do and do not support the President’s plan to rewrite immigration law with an executive order. Notice how NBC was sure to add a note questioning the numbers due to a small sample size, ignoring that the margin of error could also result in more Latinos being against executive amnesty.
That’s the takeaway from Massachusetts Institute for Technology professor and Obamacare architect Jonathan Gruber’s video oeuvre of narcissistic honesty.
“This bill was written in a tortured way to make sure the CBO did not score the mandate as taxes. If CBO scored the mandate as taxes, the bill dies,” Gruber said in one of several videos recently uncovered of him explaining at forums and panels over the last several years how Obamacare was dishonestly sold to the public.
“In terms of risk rated subsidies, if you had a law which said healthy people are going to pay in — if you made it explicit that healthy people pay in and sick people get money, it would not have passed,” Gruber went on to say in the 2013 video. “Lack of transparency is a huge advantage. And basically, you know, call it the stupidity of the American voter or whatever. But basically that was really, really critical to getting the thing to pass.”
“Economists have called for 40 years to get rid of the regressive, inefficient and expensive tax subsidy provided for employer provider health insurance,” Gruber said in another video, speaking at the Pioneer Institute in Boston in 2011.

In a broad test of his executive powers, President Barack Obama declared Wednesday he will sidestep Congress and order his own federal action on immigration — in measures that could spare from deportation as many as 5 million people illegally in the U.S. and set up one of the most pitched partisan confrontations of his presidency.
Obama declared that Washington has allowed America’s immigration problem “to fester for too long.”
The president will use an 8 p.m. EST address Thursday to announce his measures and will sign the executive actions during a rally in Las Vegas on Friday. In doing so, Obama will be taking an aggressive stand that he had once insisted was beyond his presidential power.
As many as 5 million people in the country illegally are likely to be protected from deportation and made eligible for work permits under the plan. They would not have a path to citizenship, however, and the actions could be reversed by a new president in two years. Officials said the eligible immigrants would not be entitled to federal benefits — including health care tax credits — under Obama’s plan.
The 5 million estimate includes extending deportation protections to parents and spouses of U.S. citizens and permanent residents who have been in the country for five years. The president also is likely to expand his 2-year-old program that protects young immigrants from deportation. The administration had considered extending the executive action to parents of young immigrants covered under the 2012 Obama directive, but immigration advocates said they did not expect the parents to be included in the final plan.

Today we have another bubble, the energy bubble, the huge investment in oil and the increase of private debt, (the total of business and household debt); this combination of ill economic factors will cause the next crisis. It is common sense, repaying loans is easy in a growing economy, but much more difficult in a shrinking economy. The government can hide this issue for a very long time by rolling over old debt with new debt and by reducing interest rates to practically zero. At some point, however, the system seems certain to fail.
The Bush and Obama administration created debt that simply blows bubbles in stock market prices but fail to create jobs and income opportunities for the people, the buyers of goods that will impact the economic and make money for the producers and the profits that will make them want to continue to produce more product for the market and create jobs. Stimulus debt really has to get into the hands of the potential buyers of the goods and commodities to save our economic.
We can save the world economic by ending exploitation in the world. The value of labor is what drives the Neo-Con globalist to the exploitation of labor in the world. The money manage by the International Monetary Fund fail to promote economic stability in the world, the main reason is government corruption and trade agreements that promote the exploitation of labor and benefit the elite NEO-CON globalist that control the world commerce and got rich at the expenses of the world working people.
The promotion of debt to fix the world economic will bring the world economic to a collapse more quickly. "There are two things we know by experience: Booms come from growth sustained by debt; and crises come from booms." Any policies that make it harder to repay debt will tend to push the world toward a debt collapse and economic instability.

Barack Obama claims to be a “professor of constitutional law,” but a genuine constitutional scholar, George Washington University’s Jonathan Turley, a self-acknowledged liberal Obama supporter, has offered severe criticism of Obama’s “über presidency,” his abuse of executive orders and regulations to bypass Congress.
When asked by Fox News host Megyn Kelly how he would respond “to those who say many presidents have issued executive orders on immigration,” Turley responded, “This would be unprecedented, and I think it would be an unprecedented threat to the balance of powers.”
In July, Turley gave congressional testimony concerning Obama’s abuse of executive orders: “When the president went to Congress and said he would go it alone, it obviously raises a concern. There’s no license for going it alone in our system, and what he’s done is very problematic. He’s told agencies not to enforce some laws [and] has effectively rewritten laws through active interpretation that I find very problematic.”
He continued: “Our system is changing in a dangerous and destabilizing way. What’s emerging is an imperial presidency, an über presidency. … The president’s pledge to effectively govern alone is alarming but what is most alarming is his ability to fulfill that pledge. When a president can govern alone, he can become a government unto himself, which is precisely the danger that the Framers sought to avoid in the establishment of our tripartite system of government. … Obama has repeatedly violated this [separation of powers] doctrine in the circumvention of Congress in areas ranging from health care to immigration law to environmental law. … What we are witnessing today is one of the greatest challenges to our constitutional system in the history of this country. We are in the midst of a constitutional crisis with sweeping implications for our system of government. There could be no greater danger for individual liberty. I think the framers would be horrified. … We are now at the constitutional tipping point for our system. … No one in our system can ‘go it alone’ – not Congress, not the courts, and not the president.”
Turley reiterated this week: “[Obama has] become a government of one. … It’s becoming a particularly dangerous moment if the president is going to go forward, particularly after this election, to defy the will of Congress yet again. … What the president is suggesting is tearing at the very fabric of the Constitution. We have a separation of powers … to protect Liberty, to keep any branch from assuming so much authority that they become a threat to Liberty. … The Democrats are creating something very, very dangerous. They’re creating a president who can go it alone – the very danger that are framers sought to avoid in our Constitution. … I hope he does not get away with it.”
When speaking with ABC’s Jonathan Karl, White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest said Barack Obama’s position on executive orders has not changed, even while the president prepares to announce a major executive action dealing with immigration. Earnest said, “We have been in a situation where the president has ordered a broader in-depth review of the existing law to determine what sort of executive authority does rest with the presidency to determine what kinds of steps he could take on his own. The other thing that we’ve seen is we’ve seen House Republicans refuse to act even on common-sense legislation that would fix so many of the problems of our broken immigration system.” Earnest is bending over backwards to explain how Obama could go from saying “I am not the emperor of the United States – it is my job to execute laws that are passed” to promising action without Congress. Sen. Mary Landrieu tried. It probably felt weird voting with Republicans in the Senate on whether to approve the Keystone XL pipeline. Landrieu has been pushing for the bill ever since she went into a runoff election for her Louisiana seat. Last night, the votes were cast and the Keystone pipeline was one vote short from ending up on Barack Obama’s desk – where it probably would have been vetoed. Never mind that all the senators but one from the states where the pipeline would run supported the bill. White House spokesman Josh Earnest said, “It certainly is a piece of legislation that the president doesn’t support because the president believes that this is something that should be determined through the State Department and the regular process that is in place to evaluate projects like this.” See? We have a process for these kinds of projects, and that begins with the president’s agenda. Oh well, the pipeline has another chance when the GOP takes Congress. More…
In the court of public opinion, Officer Darren Wilson, the Ferguson police officer who shot Michael Brown, has been tried and found guilty. And Missouri Democrat Senator Claire McCaskill barely scrupled when she said the anger and death threats directed at Wilson were okay. She said on MSNBC, “Once their investigations are complete, Officer Wilson will either be indicted, and then of course he will be removed from the police department, or he will not be indicted, in which case Officer Wilson has to decide what the future holds for him. … The rush to judgment by some in the African American community is, in fact, understandable because in our country there are racial disparities in terms of how people are treated.” But when host Joe Scarborough pressed McCaskill, asking, “If he [Wilson] is acquitted, then does he get his life back?” McCaskill said she thought it was obvious: Of course Wilson gets his life back. During the 2008 presidential campaign, Barack Obama attacked Hillary Clinton’s health care plan because “it forces everyone to buy insurance, even if you can’t afford it, and you pay a penalty if you don’t.” Gee, that sounds familiar. Oh, that’s right – it’s a critical part of ObamaCare now. What changed Obama’s mind? Jonathan “Stupid American Voters” Gruber, of course. After adding Gruber to his transition team and meeting with him about health policy, Obama came out in favor of the mandate in July 2009. And, according to a 2012 New York Times report, “It is [Gruber’s] research that convinced the Obama administration that health care reform could not work without requiring everyone to buy insurance.” It’s no wonder Obama has tried to distance himself from Gruber, saying, “I just heard about this” kerfuffle, and, “The fact that an adviser who was never on our staff expressed an opinion that I completely disagree with in terms of the voters is not a reflection on the actual process that was run.” Sure thing. The big broadcast companies, ABC and NBC, stayed silent as the story that Jonathan Gruber boasted of lying to get ObamaCare passed gathered steam in conservative media. Didn’t it matter that the person who Barack Obama claimed was one of the major minds behind the law lied to get it passed? But yet, as Newsbusters reports, the networks stayed loyal to the Washington establishment. Perhaps they hoped the Gruber story would just go away.
It’s becoming increasingly clear that what is news in Washington often only matters to the players of Washington. The Leftmedia don’t hustle for the stories that matter to the public because the media and the government are often bedfellows – literally. Mark Leibovich, in his book “This Town,” tells of the marriage between Andrea Mitchell, a reporter for NBC News, and Alan Greenspan, the former chairman of the Federal Reserve. During the financial collapse of 2009, Mitchell treaded a thin line to report on her husband’s economic policies. Talk about a conflict of interest.
It seems only when journalists are pushed out of the system do the most damning stories come to light. On Nov. 14, Melissa Francis of Fox Business Network told viewers that her previous bosses at CNBC told her not to report the hard numbers on ObamaCare because it was – get this – disrespectful to the president.
Here’s how Francis told the story: “I said on the air that you couldn’t add millions of people to the system and force insurance companies to cover their preexisting conditions without raising the price on everyone else. I pointed out that it couldn’t possible be true that if you liked your plan, you can keep it. That was a lie, and in fact, millions of people had their insurance canceled. As a result of what I said at CNBC, I was called into management where I was told that I was ‘disrespecting the office of the president’ by telling what turned out to be the absolute truth.”
To be fair, telling the truth is to disrespect this president.
Based on Francis’s account, the producers at CNBC don’t have a clue what journalism is. Disrespect? Good journalism is never awed by those in power. Not to mention, as in this case, Obama’s “you can keep your plan” comment was awarded the “Lie of the Year” from Politifact.
When the New York Post reached out to CNBC for response to Francis’s allegation, a representative for the company replied, “That’s laughable, but we take notice, because as the fastest-growing network in prime time, we’re always on the lookout for high quality comedy writers and actresses.” Instead of confirming or denying what happened, they just make fun of their old news anchor. That should prove their commitment to journalism.
But Francis is not the only journalist to be pushed from the mainstream broadcast news networks because of how she did the job. Sharyl Attkisson left CBS in March in what she called an “amicable” manner. But sources in the company allege that Attkisson, then an Emmy award-winning investigative reporter, left after months of disagreement with management. CBS wasn’t supporting as much investigative journalism as they did in the past, and it certainly didn’t want to go hard charging after Obama like Attkisson did with her reporting of the Fast and Furious scandal, or her proposal to further investigate the Benghazi attack and subsequent cover-up.
Recently, the most damning of Washington scandals have not originated from the top of the Washington media food chain. They have been sniffed out from the bottom, where independent journalists and bloggers discover the documents and the sound bytes. It wasn’t the mainstream media that dug into the archives of Obama’s comments to come out holding the one in which the president said he liberally stole ideas from Jonathan Gruber.
The Washington press corps is too close to the problem. They don’t see why Gruber’s comments are germane because such deceitful games are the modus operandi in Washington. As Obama said in denying Gruber’s comments, ObamaCare was “extensively debated” and “fully transparent” – by which he meant lying and obfuscation are just part of American politics.
The American voter needs to know what the swamp along the Potomac is really like. They need the information to decide whether to put their trust in such a government. But the Leftmedia wear blinders when it comes to the very power to whom they purport to speak truth.
For years, the leftist mantra when it came to taxes was basically “soak the rich.” The statement was always couched in the belief that the wealthy could afford it. But the so-called rich were never paying an amount these do-gooders (who, in a lot of cases, rarely paid income tax because they lived off a family trust fund) determined was the proper tithe to the state. Barack Obama called it the “Buffett Rule,” believing the proper amount the top 1% should be paying is 30 cents on the dollar.
So according to new figures released by the Congressional Budget Office, we should be in taxpayer nirvana – the top 1% now pays 24% of all taxes. Moreover, a further dissection of the numbers to account for government wealth transfers shows that the entire burden of paying for the government falls squarely on the shoulders of the richest one-quarter or so of taxpayers.
Mark J. Perry writes for the American Enterprise Institute, “In fact, the richest 20% of Americans by income aren’t just paying a share of federal taxes that would be considered ‘fair’ – it goes way beyond ‘fair’ – they’re shouldering almost 100% of the entire federal tax burden of transfer payments and all other non-financed government spending.”
Worth pointing out, too, is that the CBO was using 2011 data to determine these figures. Obama’s 2013 tax increases – moving the top 35% bracket back to the pre-Bush tax rate of 39.6%, and the next bracket up to 35% – have increased the marginal rate top brackets pay. And while the Left argues we’ve had much higher tax brackets in previous eras, such as the Jimmy Carter-era 70% bracket that Ronald Reagan eventually reduced to 28% before leaving office, other changes in tax law have eliminated many of the shelters that reduced the effect of these bygone punitive rates. We’re left with the most overly progressive tax system in the industrialized world, despite Democrat claims that wealthy Americans still don’t pay their fair share.
Many of those who fall in the high tax brackets have S corporations or other business entities that create jobs for millions of Americans – as opposed to the trust fund babies who openly root for higher tax rates. At some level, punitive higher rates reduce the incentive to make more money because it’s only going to be taxed away. Remember the promise that only those who earn more than $250,000 would see a tax increase? Many business owners took that seriously.
So now that we have numbers to prove the wealthy are paying more than their fair share, we can expect a tax break to level the playing field, right? Don’t hold your breath, because despite the shellacking the Democrats took in the midterms the class envy card still plays well. Note that four red states voted to increase their minimum wage in the same election Republicans took control of the Senate.
The math is simple: The top 1% may have a lot of money to spend, but there are millions more in the lower classes who will vote for what they think is their self-interest – wealth transfers from those who “can afford it.” And they wonder why they remain impoverished.

Columnist Walter E. Williams: “The legislative branch is bound by Article 1 of the Constitution. Section 8 of Article 1 delineates the scope of congressional power to tax and spend. Nowhere within Article 1, Section 8 is Congress granted the authority to tax for at least two-thirds of the federal budget. The courts are bound by the Constitution’s Article 3. Part of the courts' responsibility is to ensure that the executive and legislative branches of government uphold the Constitution. In that respect, the courts have been grossly derelict, particularly during and after the New Deal era. Seeing as all branches of federal government ignore most of the provisions of the Constitution, I think we can safely say that we’ve reached the post-Constitution stage of our history. Washington politicians are not to blame. It’s the American people who’ve lost their love and respect for our Constitution. Washington’s politicians are simply the agents for that contempt.”

Islam claiming America in Congress & Cathedral
Many believed that when they cast their ballot on November 4th against the dictatorial Islamic socialist policies of the occupant of the Oval Office, that they did their part. There was a collective sigh of relief across the sane members of society that perhaps the message sent to Washington was to right the good ship America. I warned Americans that they had only taken the first step. The second step, the far harder, would be the arduous task of holding those who were elected accountable. It is proving true. A sign of the times, a harbinger if you will, is what happened at the National Cathedral with the prayers in the name of allah. Moreover, it was a planned and coordinated event with Congress.
"Get out of here," you say! Well, here's the rest of the story. Introduced by newly re-elected House Speaker John Boehner (R-Oh), Imam Hamad Ahmad Chebli of the Islamic Society of Central Jersey in Monmouth opened the House business with prayer on Thursday, November 13. Chebli began: "In the name of Allah, the most gracious, the most merciful. Praise be to Allah, the cherisher, the sustainer of the world, the most gracious, the most merciful master of the Day of Judgment. Thee do we worship and thine do we seek. Guide us to the safe path." The Washington Post reported that Chebli was also part of the prayer at the National Cathedral, which was "sponsored by the Washington National Cathedral, the All Dulles Area Muslim Society (ADAMS), the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) and other Islamic organizations."
The Muslim Brotherhood strategic plan for North America, submitted as evidence in the 2008 Holy Land Foundation trial, called for Islamic colonization of America to carry out a grand "civilization jihadist" mission dedicated to "eliminating and destroying" America from within, and "sabotaging its miserable house." The Islamic Society of North America, the parent of the Islamic Society of Central Jersey, was listed as supporting the plan. CAIR was named an un-indicted co-conspirator in the trial. It is well known that the Muslim Brotherhood (and its affiliate al Qaeda) is a foreign policy partner of the "president." CAIR and the various Islamic Societies are considered by experts as terrorist sponsoring fronts.
The "president's" sentiment toward Islamists is well established. It is beyond belief, however, that after an election rejecting the "president's" Islamic socialist policies that the House Speaker would desecrate the House of Representatives by allowing an Imam with ties to the Muslim Brotherhood to symbolically claim Congress with a prayer in the name of allah. The peaceful religion claim is a ruse. Islam is incompatible with representative government and freedom. We elected a new Congress to protect the Constitution and national security, to right the nation. Boehner should be removed for allowing such an "in your face" move against American citizens. Accountability is necessary. I ask again the 2 Corinthians 6:14 question, "What partnership has light with darkness?"

Stop urinating on us and telling us it is raining. Please forgive me for using a crude saying. However, it perfectly and succinctly describes what Obama, Mary Landrieu and the Democrats have been doing to Americans, particularly blacks, for a very long time; until we stop them.
In their remarkable arrogance and assumption that most voters are clueless idiots, Obama and his minions look reporters and the American people in the eye via TV and tell us flat out lies, huge whoopers without even blinking. They act as if there is no such thing as video archives and fact checkers.
Clearly, Obama and his posse know that they can count on the liberal MSM to cover/protect their derrieres; complicit in their efforts to deceive the American people.
Here is Obama's most recent in your face lie/deception. Obama plans to push forward with the feds taking control of the internet against the will of a vast majority of the American people. In Democrat fool-ya fashion, he claims he wants to “save the internet”. Obama is lying. His intention is to add another notch on his gun of government overreaching power grabs.
One thing you can count on. Whatever Obama and his minions say they seek to achieve, their hidden agenda is the polar opposite.
Sen. Mary “voted with Obama 97% of the time” Landrieu has been deceiving her constituents for 18 years; promoting herself as a champion for blacks and women.
She is neither. Finally, Louisiana blacks have begun to realize the truth and are pushing back. Praise God!
Dr Wayne Dyer says that when you squeeze an orange, orange juice comes out because that's what's inside. Squeezed by low polling numbers, Mary Landrieu's superiority, arrogance, condescension and true contempt for her constituents came out during an interview. Landrieu blamed Louisianan voter's rejection of her and Obama's agenda on southern state racism and sexism. In essence, calling Louisiana voters a bunch of ignorant redneck racists and sexists.
But folks, Landrieu was simply following the Democratic Party's disrespect for the intellect of voters standard fool-ya play book. When all else fails, lie/deceive, demonize and create hate.
When Republican Congressman Paul Ryan proposed a plan to save Medicare, Democrat minions produced a deplorable ad to deceive voters and demonize Ryan; depicting him pushing a helpless terrified gray-haired grandmother in a wheelchair over a cliff plunging to her death. Meanwhile, Obama cut Medicare by $718 billion dollars.
The Democrats deceived many into believing that Republicans had a war on women. Meanwhile, guess who has a history of keeping women in chains? Answer: The Democrats.
In 1964, Democrat president Lyndon Johnson implemented government welfare programs promoted as his “war on poverty”. Twenty-two trillion dollars later, government playing Robin Hood by taking from the rich and redistributing to the poor, progress against poverty has been minimal. Democrat government dependency programs mixed with the lowering of moral and cultural standards have left the black family and community in shambles. The mission was never about ending poverty, but rather addicting blacks to government handouts to secure their votes forever.
My 86 year old black dad told me a great story about black Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas. A few years ago, dad volunteered at a mostly black Baltimore elementary school. Dad said they took a bus load of students to Washington DC on a field trip to meet Justice Thomas. Justice Thomas asked security to put them in a side room. After his court case, Justice Thomas met with the students. Justice Thomas said he was a knucklehead as a kid, but turned his life around. The kids were very excited and Justice Thomas took a lot of pictures with the kids.
I reminded dad that Justice Thomas is despised by the NAACP and the Democrats, despite probably being the most powerful black man in the world second to Obama. I told my dad Trayvon Martin and Michael Brown were thugs. And yet, the NAACP, Democrats and the MSM have tried to elevate them to hero status. Meanwhile, they despise extraordinarily successful superb black role models such as Dr Ben Carson, former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, businessman extraordinaire and presidential candidate Herman Cain and Justice Thomas.
If black empowerment is truly their goal, why would the NAACP, the Democrats and MSM celebrate thugs while, not just hating, but seeking to destroy real black achievers? The answer is simple. The Democrats and their minions are great deceivers whose sole mission is to secure loyal black voters at any and all cost. Thugs Trayvon Martin and Michael Brown help to promote the Democrats' narrative that white cops shoot blacks at will; vote for us to keep them from murdering you.
Evil deceivers produced an outrageous ad claiming that if blacks do not vote, they need to send their kids to school wearing bulletproof vests to protect them from police. Beyond the pale. A bottomless gutter shameful tactic.
The Democrats' modus operandi is to deceive, deceive, deceive. Democrat Charlie Rangel tried to portray the decent hard working patriotic members of the Tea Party as white racist segregationists. Totally absurd, divisive, evil and deceptive.
I feel like if MLK came back today he would be heartbroken, thinking, “What in the world happened!” He gave his life for blacks to have equal opportunity and be judged by the content of their character rather than the color of their skin. He never intended for race exploitation and racial division to become an industry.
It has also been exposed that Obama and his great deceiver minions used deception and the assumption that the American people are stupid to pass Obamacare.
2 Corinthians 11:13 made me think of Obama, Mary Landrieu and the Democrats: the great deceivers. “For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ.”
The Democrat great deceivers will surely continue their insidious deceit until we exercise our power to politically stop them.
Mitch McConnell and John Boehner just don't get it. They seem to have no idea whom they are supposed to represent. They don't appear to know what the recent election was about. From their recent actions and statements, they seem to believe that voters were pleased by the current regime and wished to keep everything in "status quo" mode. They got it wrong.
It is completely unacceptable for so-called representatives to ignore voters and make deals with the political opposition before the fight is fully engaged. The leaders of the Senate and the House of Representatives are acting more like girly boys at a tea party than men who are standing for principles of our founding fathers.
Why would anyone who believed in our nation and what it stands for ever compromise with evil. The current regime in D.C. is evil. It is an abomination to allow Muslims to worship Allah in a Christian Church. Muslims hate Christianity and everything it stands for. They endorse all forms of practices that are offensive to Christians and humans in general.
When McConnell and Boehner compromise with Obama, they are endorsing his abominable beliefs and practices. These two politicians are poster boys for what is wrong with politics and what is wrong with career politicians. Any representative and senator who support them for leadership positions should pay the price when they stand for their next elections.
The Republicans are almost ready for extinction. They seem to believe if they stand for nothing, that they can't lose. I'm putting the establishment on notice: Being amoral and trying to get along with progressive Democrats is not endearing the electorate to you. You will go the way of the dinosaur and to wherever they allow RINOs (Republicans in name only) in the future.
You, Mitch, to say that government shutdowns are off the table before the argument is engaged is appalling. It is surrendering before a shot is fired. Sadly a new senator from Colorado is following your lead in this. Cory Gardner is saying we are too civilized to shut the government down. This shows no value for the constitution and for the American Revolution. Where do politicians of this caliber come from?
Hopefully, some of our representatives will have more courage and appreciation of what America represents. Self-serving politicians are causing the loss of liberty and our national sovereignty. We must fight like our nation and our freedom depends on us. Maybe then we can emerge from the curse which is Obama's legacy and become a stronger people who have met the enemy and fought the good fight with the help of our Creator.
