I met a lot of great patriots/Tea Party leaders while campaigning across the state -- Norm Hughes, Candy Gillman, Steve Mobley, doctors Linda and Cal Dykstra and Trucker Dan to name just a few.

I posed for a picture with Mr Roher, a WW II veteran at a tea party rally in Grand Rapids. Mr Roher was deeply concerned about the direction our country was going.

Hosts of the Joshua's Trail black conservative radio show out of Detroit drove to our tea party in Livonia. It was truly refreshing to meet courageous Christian black men who were fighting the good fight in Detroit, the belly of the beast. These brothers were enlightening their black listeners to the virtues of Conservatism and how they do not have to continue eating the crumbs that fall from the Democrats' table; awesome patriot brothers.

My most endearing Michigan memory happened at a tea party in Traverse City. An excited white woman in a wheelchair said she was a huge fan. Her adult daughter who brought her to the rally told a staffer that her mom was dying. She said her mom said that all she wanted to do was to meet Lloyd Marcus before she died. Folks, I was blown away. Then, I became extremely angry at the mainstream media and the Democrats for despicably branding the Tea Party a bunch of redneck racists.

I have shared my personal experiences to say that while Detroit is a liberal disaster, the rest of Michigan is pretty awesome.

There are good people, and good businesses, that deserve better treatment from their government. The socialist, big-government policies that destroyed Detroit are being inflicted on the rest of the state - whose values are sooo different from Detroit.

Many Michiganders feel that it is time for a new chapter in their state. Leading the peoples' charge is Terri Lynn Land running for the U.S. Senate.

Terri Lynn Land is currently trailing in the polls because a bunch of liberal billionaires dumped huge amounts of money smearing her. They want the socialist, big-government policies that destroyed Detroit imposed on the rest of the state.

Folks, we see the glaring hypocrisy of the Democrats in every race in which the candidate is a conservative woman. While promoting their bogus Republican war on women, Democrats launch brutal no-holds-barred attacks on conservative women candidates who run as Republicans.

My wife Mary and I have noticed that the Democrats' favorite buzz word is, “extreme”. Any candidate such as Terri Lynn Land who espouses common sense solutions, respects traditional values and celebrates God, family and country is branded “extreme” by liberal Democrats.

Their modus operandi is to spread lowering the bar nationally. All their liberal policies have failed miserably making a mess of Detroit; once a great city. And what does the Democrat candidate plan to do? If elected, he will implement the same proven failure politically correct liberal policies state wide, all over Michigan. Say no voters. Just say no!

Our Conservative Campaign Committee team has put together a TV ad to inform Michigan voters that they have a much better choice than the Obama clone, Gary what's his name.

The Democrat candidate boldly touts his support for all of Obama's tyrannical and job-killing initiatives; Obamacare, amnesty, oppressive taxes, destructive social engineering spending programs and mountains of absurd intrusive new government regulations on businesses.

Folks -- just a quick side note I wish to share. My lifelong Democrat 86 year old black dad called me this morning from Maryland. He said he wanted to vote for the Conservative Party candidate but did not see one on his ballot. He only saw Republican, Democrat and Libertarian candidates. I explained that Conservative is not a political party. I instructed dad to research the Republican candidate to see if he is conservative.

Folks, this is huge because typically dad would, without thinking, vote for the candidate with a “D” beside their name. Dad is finally understanding that the conservative candidate is going to be more in-keeping with his Christian and mainstream principles and values.

I can hear his voice and he said; Brothers and Sisters, you are the voice of justice, you must force America to face all its interrelated flaws-racism, poverty, militarism and materialism; speak for the ones that cannot speak, our country was created under God’s principles and this is a nation under God with liberty and justice for all. God will judge you, for your character and not for your nationality, your race, religion or the color of your skin. Obey God’s law because you will be judge only by his law not men’s law.

Benito Juarez said; God give us this world for the benefit of mankind, to be the stewards and share the abundance of natural resources and work the land to provide for the welfare of mankind; it is not just to fight and hoard what belongs to mankind as God will not allowed to enter his kingdom any rich man, because God almighty knows that the rich do not follow God’s law, and he adds. The respect for the property and the rights of your fellow men will change America and will re-store the trust and peace in the world.

Brothers and Sister, Let’s pray for America and ask God for wisdom, our support for our youth, the courage to speak for the ones that cannot and use our moral principles to respect others and their property, God’s gift and the fruit of their labor. ALABAMA group called ‘Americans United for Separation of Church & State’ is opposed to an anti-sharia bill

Calling the bill an “Atrocious Amendment,” Americans United for Separation of Church & State’ says, “We object to anti-Sharia bills because they’re unnecessary, their provisions are overly broad, and they unfairly target the nation’s Muslim communities. And that violates the First Amendment.”

AU  Next month, Alabama voters will have an opportunity to weigh in on Amendment One, which would add a provision to the state constitution that ostensibly attempts to ban Islamic, or Sharia, law. It’s hardly the first bill of its kind. Last year, state legislatures in Florida, Missouri, North Carolina and Oklahoma debated similar measures; Missouri’s bill never made it past the governor’s desk. In the other states, the bills were limited to family law.

Alabama’s bill goes a bit further. If enacted, it would require the state’s courts to avoid enforcing or applying rulings from other courts if those rulings are based on foreign law. That could affect contractual obligations from foreign courts (a more than occasional occurrence in international business dealings).

And the bill’s reasoning appears sound. “The public policy of this state is to protect its citizens from the application of foreign laws when the application of a foreign law will result in the violation of a right guaranteed by the Alabama Constitution or of the United States Constitution, including, but not limited to, due process, freedom of religion, speech, assembly, or press, or any right of privacy or marriage,” it asserts.

The amendment’s text never explicitly references Sharia, but as the Greene County Democrat reports, it’s merely the latest incarnation of anti-Sharia legislation in the state. It’s also the brainchild of State Sen. Gerald Allen (R-Tuscaloosa), who sponsored the original, failed version of the bill in 2011. Last month, Allen received a national security award from ACT! for America, an anti-Islam group founded by Brigitte Gabriel.

At Americans United, we are often asked why we don’t support these bills. The answer is always the same: Because there isn’t a real threat that our courts or legislatures are implementing Sharia law. We have yet to receive a report about a Muslim community or Muslim elected official attempting to legislate based on Sharia principles. If we did, we’d take action. We do, however, receive many reports about fundamentalist Christians doing exactly that.

CANADA: Once again, the only thing Muslims are concerned about after a Muslim terrorist attack is a ‘backlash’

The RCMP is investigating threats sent to the B.C. Muslim Association in the wake of two separate attacks on Canadians soldiers this week. Association spokesman Aasim Rashid said the organization has received multiple messages via email that threatened the general Muslim population in the province.

CTV News  “The idea was to create this fear that you’re not safe from us, from whoever these people are,” Rashid told reporters, Friday. “Whenever that happens we report it to authorities and take their advice on how to act.”

Hours earlier, Mounties in Alberta confirmed they are probing a disturbing case of vandalism at a mosque in Cold Lake, where windows were smashed and the words “Go home” were spray-painted on walls overnight. (“Go Home” is disturbing but killing Canadian soldiers and threatening to behead the Prime Minister is not?)

Community members quickly banded together in support of the mosque, helping to remove the graffiti and covering a broken window with a board reading “Love your neighbor.” (But only if your neighbor is a Muslim)

News of the threats and vandalism followed two days after Michael Zehaf Bibeau shot and killed a soldier standing honour guard at the National War Memorial in Ottawa, and four days after a separate attack that killed one soldier and left another wounded in Quebec.

The B.C. Muslim Association also reiterated its condemnation of the attacks Friday, and accused the assailants of harming the Islamic faith. (No different than Muslims do everyday) “These are attacks of criminal violence and show utter disregard for human life and the laws of the world, as well as its religions,” Rashid said.

“Perpetrators must carry the burden of tarnishing the image of Islam(Bwahahahaha), creating misunderstandings and possibly animosity for Islam and Muslims, pushing non-Mulims away from the religion, and making it difficult for Muslims to practice.”(That’s the idea)  The denouncements echoed those of other Muslim groups across Canada this week.

What about the threats from Muslim to Canadians?

Mounties have been working with the B.C. Muslim community to prevent radicalization through an outreach program since 2005, but Rashid said they hope to step up efforts with a new program. One element will involve combating the propaganda spread by terror groups like ISIS, using the same social media sites extremists have utilized to recruit impressionable youths.

“This is a preventative program to educate Muslims and non-Muslims about the actual teachings of Islam as opposed to the radical version portrayed by groups like ISIS,” rashid said. (There is only one version of Islam, ask any Muslim) “The program will be a broad program aiming not only to educate, but also to create awareness, to create an environment of non-acceptance to such kinds of criminal violence.”

Officials have confirmed Zehaf Bibeau, who has a record of drug addiction and petty crimes in both B.C. and Quebec, spent part of 2011 worshipping at a Burnaby mosque also attended by accused terrorist Hasib Yusufzai, believed to have flown to Syria to join ISIS.

Rashid said Yusufzai prayed at the mosque two or three years ago, but was sent away for sharing alarmingly radical views (As opposed to the normally radical views of Islam?). Members who are being radicalized generally do so in solitude, seeking out information that reinforces their beliefs on the Internet, he added. “It’s online. It’s there for whoever chooses to access it and whoever is susceptible to it,” he said. (It’s also in the mosques)

“Based on what I’ve been reading in the news, there are online forums, there are social media platforms being used, there are propaganda videos being used through YouTube and whatnot and anyone who is anywhere in the world has access to this.” It’s incredibly rare for B.C. Muslims to show signs of radicalization, he added. (HAH!)

Dr. James Dobson, one of America’s best-known Christian leaders, founder of Family Talk Radio, a courtroom opponent of Obamacare and, just recently, the National Day of Prayer speaker who called Barack Obama the “abortion president,” warns American is heading toward “depravity.”

In his October 2014 newsletter, a copy of which is available online, he wrote about the Old Testament account of Abraham’s nephew, Lot, “who chose to take his family into the wicked cities of Sodom and Gomorrah.”

“The men living there had become desperately depraved, burning with lust for each other. Jehovah told Abraham that their sin was so grievous that the Lord decided to rain utter destruction upon them. Abraham pleaded with the Lord on behalf of the people, but the patriarch could not find even ten righteous men in either of the cities to justify mercy,” he wrote.

“Why have I chosen to recount this biblical story from so long ago? Because I am convinced that America and other Western nations are sliding in the same direction,” he warned. “We have not yet reached the depravity of Sodom and Gomorrah, but that appears to be where we are headed.”

Dobson added, “Judge Robert Bork, the brilliant jurist who was shamefully denied a seat on the Supreme Court, wrote a book about this danger 18 years ago. It was titled, ‘Slouching Towards Gomorrah.’ I think he had it right.”
