The University of California Irvine, where the Muslim Students Union called for jihad and genocide following a disrupted speech by Daniel Pipes, has invited America’s disgraceful Israel-hating ex-president Jimmy Carter to the campus: Jimmy Carter to visit UC Irvine, talk with students.
He should be shunned; instead he’s being feted by academia and used by radical Islamic front groups to promote their demonization of Israel.
This is going to make the already appalling, out of control situation at UC Irvine, much worse.

This is how the Left rolls. When America rallied around Duck Dynasty star Phil Robertson after being targeted for destruction by the Left, the Left played a twofer on Robertson; accusing him of being homophobic and a racist.
Thank God it did not work. Coming to Robertson's defense, conservatives played their ultimate trump card which overruled all the Left's lies, distortions and evil intent. Our ultimate weapon is the Truth & Righteousness Card. I believe boldly and confidently standing up for truth and righteousness always defeats evil. And make no mistake about it, the Democrat, liberal, progressive and socialist agenda is evil.
The Left's vision for America is counter to the Will of God and the human spirit. Their anti-God agenda places man on the throne as the ultimate power, able to fix everything – the environment, income inequality, equal outcomes and everything under the sun via legislation. The Bible says, “The fool says in his heart that there is no God.”
Not to wander too far off topic, back to the Left's nonsensical allegation that Bundy is a racist.
Any decent fair-minded human being would understand that Bundy was condemning the slavery of government dependency in his comments regarding Negros. The elderly gentleman is a rancher who is not media savvy, nor is he schooled in the nuances of political correctness.
The Left are not decent human beings. Their bully minions went on high alert viciously in pursuit of a “gotcha” comment to squelch Bundy's proven leadership and ability to inspire millions to push back against the Obama regime.
Prominent conservatives running for the tall grass to get away from or running to microphones to denounce Bundy is testimony to their fear of the Left's high tech lynching machine. It truly sickens me.
I hate allowing jive turkey Leftist bullies to push us around. Rather than conservatives fighting back, far too many cower in fear and allow the Left to proclaim what is considered racist. It reminds me of the school yard when I was a kid. The only way to defeat bullies or at least gain their respect was to punch them in the face.
Before a Leftist's hack accuses me of advocating violence, I am talking about “politically” delivering a hard left hook to the Left's jaw by standing up for Bundy.
Mr. Bundy spoke the truth about cradle-to-grave government dependency wrecking havoc in the black community. We all know this. But any white person who dares to acknowledge the huge elephant in the black community's living room is vilified and branded a racist; Bill O'Reilly, Congressman Paul Ryan and now Cliven Bundy. Meanwhile, black families continue to suffer and vote monolithic for Democrats who vow to fix their problems, but never do.
Black relatives of mine (several died young) lived wasted lives because they were addicted to government dependency. They were Democrat party slaves, enslaved with chains far more powerful than steel; mental and emotional slavery. My relatives were robbed of the self-esteem, pride and joy of individual achievement and earning ones way.

Today after reading EPA Proposed rules will ‘result in the financial demise’ of ranchers” that Dee posted has got me thinking. What grants any regulatory agency of our Federal government the authority to make laws.
Nothing does. The constitution is clear that bills that effect the nation have to originate from either the House or Senate unless it is a revenue generating bill which must then originate from the House. This bill or legislation goes thru the proper channels until it either becomes law or not. If it does then the Supreme Court can rule on its constitutionality.
Agencies like the EPA have circumvented the Constitution and are making regulations like they was Federal law. A regulation is a specific requirement within legislation, not a whole new law. An agency can make a regulation that conforms and supports legislation that already has been passed but cannot create a regulation that does not have legislative support.
The EPA and other agencies are out of control and we the people need to rein them in. Enough of this liberalism that is destroying our nation. If our elected officials refuse to honor the oath they took to defend the constitution against all enemies both foreign and DOMESTIC, then they need to be replaced ASAP including impeached if needs be.
Thats the problem with huge government like we have now. No one is watching anyone and the Constitution ends up getting stomped on at every turn. Huge government is what the liberals want so they can dictate every aspect of our lives and this is what we get from that same huge government. Agencies that think they can create federal laws in the guise of regulations that are unconstitutional.

A friend of mine who loves to shop checks every label on everything she buys.
She told me her new thing is going shopping once a week to see how many American products she can buy.
After a few months she discovered the stores are getting tricky about labels and in some cases they are dishonest.
One example she gave was that products from different countries like meat and lettuce were mixed together. While the products look exactly the same, half say USA and half list another countries. So why list the country of origin at all?
Maybe that is their point.

It is impossible to address an issue if it’s existence is unknown. I suspect many people are unaware of proposed rules that the Nevada Cattleman’s Association (NCA) said would “most likely result in the financial demise of a significant percentage of family ranch operations.”
Are those words strong enough for us to pay attention? It is not too late to stop this.
The proposed rules are surrounding the plight of the Sage Grouse, which environmental groups want to be listed under the Endangered Species Act as “threatened.” Yet, as I wrote about in detail at Tavern Keepers, the rules will likely not protect the Sage Grouse, just as rules to protect the Desert Tortoise have been ineffective.

As an aside, the best place I have found for regulations is here, where you can access all open regulatory documents. There are a depressing amount on the Sage Grouse alone. Many are likely unaware of upcoming legislation rules and regulations written by unelected bureaucrats from the EPA, IRS, FDA and many, many others that can potentially impact your life and your business.
Just today, 103 new regulatory documents have been added. Today alone, comments are closing for 26 documents.
It is reminiscent of a quote by James Madison in The Federalist No. 62.
“The internal effects of a mutable policy are still more calamitous. It poisons the blessing of liberty itself. It will be of little avail to the people, that the laws are made by men of their own choice, if the laws be so voluminous that they cannot be read, or so incoherent that they cannot be understood; if they be repealed or revised before they are promulgated, or undergo such incessant changes that no man, who knows what the law is to-day, can guess what it will be to-morrow. Law is defined to be a rule of action; but how can that be a rule, which is little known, and less fixed?”
The Desert Tortoise has not fared better under the “protection” of the Endangered Species Act. This is documented. Yet, activist groups continue to use “strategic litigation” to pressure the government for more protections for the Desert Tortoise, and for many, many other plants and animals.
“We realized that we can bypass the officials and sue, and that we can get things done in court,” said the Center for Biodiversity’s Kierán Suckling.
Many of these activist groups openly bash livestock grazing on their websites. So, instead of advocating for something, they seem to be advocating against something.
Studies have found that grazing reduces wildfires, which is cited as one of the main threats to the Sage Grouse. In fact, research shows that “since the 1970s, the frequency of wildfires has increased at least four-fold.” Is there a connection?
As I wrote at the Brenner Brief,
“For example, an academic study by Kirk Davies, et al., suggests cattle grazing minimizes fire damage. Fire is a major factor in the destruction of the Sage Grouse habitat. Wildfires have also increased in severity in Nevada and California as grazing has declined. “
Many others have also observed the correlation between severe wildfires and declining grazing activities. Yet, completely legitimate academic studies that find any benefit to grazing are left out of the supporting evidence used to justify listing the Sage Grouse as threatened.
Consider the following excerpt taken from meeting minutes of NDOW’s “Sagebrush Ecosystem Council” from October:
“…much of Dr. Davies’s research, especially that related to the benefits of moderate livestock grazing, has been largely ignored in recent agency literature review documents on Greater Sage-grouse….The omissions, whether intentional or accidental, are glaring….”
During a House Hearing from 2004 titled, “Wildfires in the West: Is the Bush Administration’s response adequate?” representatives from the Governor’s Blue Ribbon Fire Commission submitted a statement saying in part,
“Vegetation and fuel management, habitat preservation, and environmental protection have often conflicted with sound fire safe planning in the development of wild land areas. When adverse weather and fuel conditions combine, our fire fighters have been given the impossible task of protecting life and property in the face of these policy conflicts.”
In 2007, John Berlau of the American Thinker observed that although “climate change” was being blamed for the increased intensity of the wildfires, “…environmentalists have hamstrung Californians in their efforts to clear the dry brush [to protect certain species] that is providing the fuel for this massive fire.”
The seeming goal of many of these radical environmental organizations is to designate the most land possible under the the highest protection of “wilderness,” (i.e., roadless, no grazing, no ATVs, etc). Some have made the connection that wilderness designations really has nothing to do with protecting the environment, and is more likely a part of a United Nations initiative referred to as Agenda 21.
As the standard of living continues to fall and as prices rise, it should be noted that designating wilderness areas is often devastating to local economies. It is not a stretch to think that further destruction of the beef industry would not fare well for consumers.
While climate change is the preferred scapegoat for the increasing intensity of wildfires in the West, it seems that the policies imposed by radical environmentalists are more likely to blame. In the meantime, all relevant studies should be included in background documentation for the Sage Grouse.

A number of complexities surround the government vs. Cliven Bundy standoff case in Nevada. Some say the feds acted legally, others that they are infringing upon private property and Constitutional rights. Either way, the situation stimulated a national discussion: What are the limits of the federal government and its agencies?
Byron Schlomach, Ph.D., Director of the Center for Economic Prosperity at the Goldwater Institute, sets us straight:
In reference to the Bundy case and the new report that the Bureau of Land Management is looking to seize about 90,000 acres of land to be made public in Texas, what exactly is the purpose of the BLM, and what are its limits? How much power does the BLM have, and what can they do with it?
The Bureau of Land Management is the federal government’s property manager. As such, it asserts the federal government’s ownership rights. The BLM can do anything with federal land that any private landowner can do with his or her own land, including keeping other people off of that land. The problem is that the land the BLM owns is “everybody’s” since it is “publicly owned.” This means we end up fighting over the best way to use the land and the losers in the hurly-burly of political infighting have lately been past winners, so they feel particularly wronged. The political process, which is very frustrating, sometimes corrupt, and which always produces exultant winners and embittered losers who feel their rights have been ignored or confiscated, does not necessarily lead to unity and good feelings.
In the Bundy situation, political wrangling by environmentalists has led the BLM to end longstanding leases with people like cattle ranchers. Like any landlord, the federal government has the right not to renew leases when they expire, to collect agreed lease payments, and to evict someone who refuses to pay rent. Most landlords, though, rent to those who best take care of the property and who pay the highest rents. The federal government can afford not to behave so rationally if a majority or a vocal majority wishes it so. This is the problem so many are having with current BLM policy. The BLM is arguably not making best use of federal lands because of the political machinations of environmentalists.
The Texas situation is more insidious. The BLM has always had the right to assert federal ownership and works to determine property boundaries. However, in the Texas case, the BLM essentially ignored the federal government’s potential claims for a very long time. Private land use and ownership boundaries have long since been established. For the BLM to come back now and confiscate land would be immoral. Instead, the property rights of those who put property to good use should be recognized. The government and even George Washington lost land to “squatters” who, finding no identifiable boundary markers, appropriated land for themselves. Courts then determined that ownership went to those who did something with the property, not to those who did nothing with it, even if their claim was legitimate on paper.
What rights do citizens have against the BLM? We have all heard stories of the government seizing property from private citizens, paying them a fair price for it, but basically saying, ‘we want to build a highway through your farm, you have 90 days to vacate,’ or something to that effect. Is this Constitutional? What would the Founders say?
The BLM is essentially the owner of federal property. Americans have no individual rights against it. If the landlord’s mind is made up to keep us off his property, we cannot and should not override him. Our only option is to attempt to peacefully change his mind. In the case of the BLM, the mind we have to change is the collective mind of Congress, which then has to change the laws that serve as the basis to change how federal lands have been historically administered.
The Fifth Amendment to the Constitution specifically addresses eminent domain by saying that private property cannot be taken by the government unless owners are justly compensated. The Founders therefore recognized government’s right to take land, if necessary, for public use. The key is that private owners whose land is taken must be justly compensated. If the BLM decides to confiscate private land in Texas, claiming the land as historically the federal government’s, it should compensate the recognized private owners since the government effectively fooled people into thinking the land was available when the government failed to make its claims years ago. Mr. Bundy was never a private land owner over the lands in question so eminent domain isn’t relevant in his case.
Short of armed militias and Cliven Bundy-style standoffs, how can Americans defend themselves against the BLM and other powerful government institutions?
The power of the vote and making an investment in educating people about the importance of private property are all we have short of violence. We MUST vote for government representatives at every level of government who truly understand the importance of the sanctity of private property. They must understand the advantages and incentives involved in having property owned by private individuals and how advantageous this is over so-called public ownership. There is really no such thing as public ownership because there will always be someone whose taxes help to support public lands but whose wishes for how it should be used will not be honored.
In other words, they are coerced into supporting others’ preferences. This is the height of tyranny. If the same people lose in our political system over and over again, then we do risk violence as the only way for them to believe their wishes will ever be honored. So-called democratic allocation of resources where the majority, or a very powerful and vocal minority, lord over everyone else, will lead to the disintegration of a civil society.
The bulk of so-called public property should be liquidated as soon as possible through sale by the government. This is exactly what happened prior to the Progressive Era and before the western states were admitted to the union. If policies followed since 1910 had been followed beginning in 1790, over half of the United States would be federally owned.
States should immediately be given the right to manage all lands within their borders since they are best able to make the local decisions necessary. States should be given the right to sell the lands as they deem appropriate with the states getting a nominal share of the proceeds, probably no higher than 10 percent, and the rest going to the federal government. Only in this way will the property currently owned by the federal government be put to its highest and best use.

“To exercise exclusive Legislation in all Cases whatsoever, over such District (not exceeding ten Miles square) as may, by Cession of particular States and the Acceptance of Congress, become the Seat of the Government of the United States, and to exercise like Authority over all Places purchased by the Consent of the Legislature of the State in which the Same shall be, for the Erection of Forts, Magazines, Arsenals, dockyards, and other needful Buildings;” Article One, Section 8, United States Constitution
Once again, the Constitution is written so clearly that it takes a liar to say that it authorizes the federal government to take and/or manage property within the United States for reasons other than “Forts, Magazines, Arsenals, dockyards, and other needful Buildings”. Of course, “other needful Buildings” is not specific. However, any sane person will understand that the Constitution is talking about either military uses, e.g., bases, or the buildings necessary to fulfill the other federal duties, e.g., post offices.
Neither the United State Constitutionnor The Federalist Papers mention national parks, national monuments, Bureau of Land Management, national forests, “protected land” or national land regulations. However, we can infer from the Papers and the ratification debate that the States would not have ratified the Constitution if it gave the federal government the power to come into a State and take control of land.
“The size of this federal district is limited. The State ceding the land for this use must consent. The State will make a compact with the federal government, assuring the rights of the citizens of the district. The inhabitants will have enough inducements to become willing parties to the cession. An elected municipal legislature will exercise authority over them. The legislature of the State and the people who live in the ceded part will agree to the cession and ratify the Constitution. Therefore, this seems to cover every objection.
“The federal government must have authority over forts, military depots, arsenals, dockyards, etc. Public money will be spent on such places.The property and equipment stored there should not be under State authority. These are important to the security of the entire Union and shouldn’t depend on one State. However, each State where they are located must agree.” Federalist Paper # 43 [paragraphs 5-6]
Except for the small amount of land listed in the Constitution, it is clear that the federal government is not supposed to own property within the United States. The Constitution cannot be faulted for the federal land grab that has been detrimental to the economy and well-being of the States. The States have allowed this invasion of unconstitutional federal power.
To further highlight how out of kilter the federal government’s role has become, it is doing a better job keeping United States citizens off federally owned land than protecting our borders from illegal entry.
The importance of private property to the Founding Fathers and the people who ratified the Constitution cannot be overstated.
“Property rights originate from the people. But men’s abilities are diverse, creating an insurmountable obstacle to equality of acquisitions. Protection of these abilities is government’s primary function. Because government protects different and unequal abilities to acquire property, the people end up owning properties of varying value and kind. This diversity of property ownership divides society into groups with different interests and concerns.” # 10 [6]
Government’s “primary function” is protection of the people’s unequal acquisition of property. Primary function! That is strong language.

Fellow Brainers - Now you know that we love a good argument here! You know that we love debate, we really enjoy having other points of view posted so that we can engage in a dialogue with them. We do not espouse name-calling, aside from fun jabs at a politician or political group in general, nor do we espouse any action that would in any way hinder any of the rights we have in this great nation. We here at Conservative Brainworks do not espouse violence. What we do support is the Constitution and the civil liberties that we as Americans have. That being said I have a disturbing post that I just had to share this with you on this page. This is a sentiment from a person who, admittedly, is a dyed in the wool liberal. Now, normally, I have fun little arguments with this person and we each present our viewpoints and, at least on my side, I laugh it off and realize that this is just for fun and that taking things personally or OVER the top is… Well it’s just stupid so I turn off the computer and join the real world. Now, you all know the rules! Here at Conservative Brainworks we DO NOT; 1. Do personal attacks on anyone who is not a politician (and even then we back it up with annoying little things like facts, video, audio, transcripts, etc.) and we keep it political. 2. Espouse violence upon anyone, ever, outside of the realm of military engagements. 3. Go above and beyond the Constitution of the United States of America, nor do we go above and beyond the rule of law in America - we often disagree with the way laws are interpreted and carried out, and we can have dialogue on that all day long. 4. Think that we are better than anyone else, we are all law-abiding citizens, we are all American citizens, and we are all patriots. Now I want you to read what this person said: “Clive Bundy is a Terrorist. A home grown, bigoted & racist terrorist. He should be arrested and his property and holding seized. Any person who raises a weapon against the government should be shot & killed or arrested & prosecuted as terrorists.” My good friends, this is the mind of the low information liberal voter. What we see here is a knee-jerk and gut reaction to an admittedly biased news report using only emotion and little to nothing else. What we see here is not the rule of law as one would expect from a liberal. Rather, what we are seeing more and more of from the left are things that are conflictingly and diametrically opposed to the tenants that they tell us they hold so dear. The left tells us about tolerance, yet if you oppose their viewpoints and attempt a dialogue, tolerance is the very last thing that you will find they actually have - as is evidenced here. So let’s look at this posting, but let’s look at it with tolerance in our hearts, and logic in our minds. We are not going to simply look at this and begin bashing this person and telling this person anything aside from rule of law, common sense, liberty, freedom, and constitutionally based ideals. This person made a very unconfirmed and un-researched comment that Clive Bundy is a terrorist. Now I want you to look at the word terrorist there: Terrorist – with a capital T. Now this person made this statement as if Clive Bundy had been accused, and charged, with our rule of law, as a terrorist – he has not. So you see just stating that an American citizen is a terrorist does not a terrorist make. Let’s look at the next part of the statement, “a home-grown, bigoted & racist terrorist.” Now this time the word terrorist was not capitalized, however we are given other words in here like bigoted and racist oh, but wait, the word terrorist is at the end of that sentence also. So now this person has not only taken rule of law upon themselves and have charged Mr. Bundy with terrorism they are now, due to their apparent innate, in-depth, and all-encompassing knowledge of the situation calling him a bigot and a racist. Now I have seen what Mr. Bundy stated on the video, the raw video is very telling. If you look at the video that was already edited by our news media you will find that it does sound very bigoted and it does sound very racist and it does sound like something that it would be unacceptable to say to anyone without them thinking you were indeed a bigoted racist! However if you look at the raw tape you’ll find that this man actually holds dear family values and looks at different peoples plight in America but he stated it in ways that were very very un-tactful and quite frankly he stated in a stupid manner – but that does not make him a bigoted racist, what that makes him is not eloquent in speech and stupid. As a matter of fact there are many individuals coming to Mr. Bundy’s side, (as you notice I refuse to use any reference to any specific group as I believe all people are of the same “race” - we are all created equal) whom other people are using as a tool to promulgate their hatred of a group. In this case that group is anyone who differs with the liberal agenda and the liberals will use their militant attacks to ensure the low information voter remains livid and hateful. Okay let’s go on to the next part, “He should be arrested and his property and holding seized.” Here is another statement made with emotion and that very important rule of law again dismissed because that rule of law would interfere with this liberal agenda. Here again is a liberal who thinks that they should have control over another person’s property and assets without being held accountable, themselves, for the words that they have said. I would love to hear what this person would want to say if I asked them this question: “so after Mr. Bundy is arrested, and his properties and holdings are seized, what should happen to him then? Should he go through proper rule of law? Or would you have happened to him what you have said in the next part of your post?”… And here is what this self-proclaimed liberal said in the next part of this post: “Any person who raises a weapon against the government should be shot & killed or arrested & prosecuted as terrorists.” And there we have it ladies and gentlemen, exactly what the liberals on the left want to do to anyone who steps outside of the box of oppression, intolerance, and hatred that the liberals would shove anyone into who disagrees with them. “Any person who raises a weapon against the government should be shot & killed…” This, ladies and gentlemen, is exactly what we are up against in this election! This is the sentiment that is held by the liberal elite, by those who are so dogmatically engrained in their hatred and intolerance of opposing viewpoints and rule of law and constitutionality. Here we see the viewpoint of a liberal. Death to those who oppose us! We are literally looking at someone who says that violence is acceptable, as a matter of fact this verse is saying that it should happen. Does that not bring up historical teachings? It does for me, and they are fearfully and horrifically documented – starting with this very same mindset. So now let us look at the constitutionality of this person’s statement. The Constitution, under article 1 states: “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.” Now just because the people that were gathered around to support Mr. Bundy had weapons they still were peaceably assembling to the best of my knowledge. I believe the only violence was initiated by the government agents – if I am wrong, then I apologize and please correct, with facts, thanks. So indeed they were following the constraints of law and the constraints under the Constitution under article 2 which states: “A well-regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” So could this person who has such hatred and such animosity for those who are exercising their freedoms please tell me at what point do you cross the line between law and lawlessness? At what point do those in power simply ignore the Constitution and rule of law? Now we look at article 4, which states: “The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.” So here again unless we see that the due process of law has been followed under the Constitution, what justification do people that say these types of things have for saying that these people should be shot and killed and holding seized? Even if the rule of law and constitutionality was upheld this type of statement still holds no validity and is, itself, a statement that espouses rule by violence and despotism. So where exactly does someone of this mindset place the line between our rule of law and what they think should happen? And now, a serious question – for you, the person who stated “Any person who raises a weapon against the government should be shot & killed or arrested & prosecuted as terrorists.” - Would you have had every man and woman who was there at the Bunny Ranch shot and killed? Would you have had fathers, mothers, daughters, brothers, sons, and, uncles, friends, loved ones all gunned down in cold blood because they had weapons that are protected by the Constitution of the United States? (And as far as I know, did not insight any violence or fire one shot) If you say no to this question then let’s go to the next part of your statement: Would you have every single one of them that I have already mentioned accused of terrorism? And if so, do you know what happens when a person is accused of terrorism? Do you know what that means to the rest of America? Perhaps your statements were hasty and poorly thought out. My friends we are entering an age where those who preach tolerance and rule of law are the very first, as is apparent with this example, to promote intolerance and non-constitutional lawlessness. I’ve only use this example with the Bundy issue as it was thrust upon me with such fervent hatred and contempt for freedom, constitutionality and law. But it is a good example of the chasm that exists between constitutionality and those who would have total government control. Let us not, my fellow Americans and patriots, ever forget that we are the ones who are the government. And that is where we have opportunity to ensure politicians do not strip us of our liberties. We are the ones who give power to the government, we are the ones who elect the people who decide what happens to us on a daily basis. Perhaps there was a time when a congressman was a farmer and had gone to Congress to enact laws and regulations that would be best for those who lived in his district. After all, at some point, he would have to go back home and live under those very same laws and regulations that he helped enact. But now, my friends, we are dealing with lifetime politicians. We are dealing with people who are politicians for the sake of politics. We are dealing with people who do not care about the rule of law if that rule of law opposes their agenda. It is time my friends to clean house in Washington DC. It is time to tell Congress that they may no longer vote themselves raises, get different healthcare than the rest of America, and get ridiculous salaries and pensions. It is time for us to take America back over – as Americans. It is time for those people who are patriots to run for office – not for the sake of running for office – but for the sake of enduring American freedom. With mindsets such as posted by this person, we see that we are not dealing with a group of people who understands constitutionality and rule of law and liberty, but rather a group of people that want to resort to doing whatever it takes to remove it anyone who opposes their viewpoints, even if that includes killing or charging people with terrorism without due process of law. If ever there was a slippery slope, and I used to hate that when they used it in the media, this would be it. Two hundred and fifty years ago, American colonists who criticized King George III would find themselves arrested and thrown into prison. Sometimes they lost their businesses, homes and families because of their sedition to the crown. The colonists had no freedom of speech to criticize the king, parliament or even a British citizen.
When James Madison and George Mason penned the Bill of Rights, there was a reason why they made the freedom of speech part of the First Amendment. It was the right to speak freely and openly criticize the government that was a right they fought for. They knew that in order to have a republic, not a democracy, the freedom of speech was a vital importance to its success. (In a democracy, people don’t need the right for free speech as the people elect their own dictators.)

Over recent years, we have seen our freedom of speech being challenged and diminished by the whining’s of a liberal minority. Now, we are on the verge of losing our First Amendment right to freedom of speech.
Massachusetts Senator Edward Markey (D) and New York Representative Hakeem Jeffries (D) have introduced the Hate Crime Reporting Act of 2014. The opening of the bill reads:
“To require the National Telecommunications and Information Administration to update a report on the role of telecommunications, including the Internet, in the commission of hate crimes.”
“The report required under subsection (a) shall— “
‘‘(1) analyze information on the use of telecommunications, including the Internet, broadcast television and radio, cable television, public access television, commercial mobile services, and other electronic media, to advocate and encourage violent acts and the commission of crimes of hate, as de-scribed in the Hate Crime Statistics Act (28 U.S.C. 534 note);”

The Great Depression, which started in October of 1929, was arguably the worst time to be an American. Nearly 25% of the population was unemployed and a great number of the remaining populous was under employed. So it is very comparable to our current state of economy.
In 1924, American veterans had been promised by the U.S. government that they would be paid a "bonus" for their service during World War 1. They were to receive $1 for every day they'd served during the war, or $1.50 for each day they served in combat. This "bonus" was supposed to be paid in 1945. When the stock market crashed and the depression hit, U.S. WWI veterans began a movement demanding that they should not have to wait another 15 years for their bonus.
As the grassroots movement took off, veterans made their way to Washington D.C. traveling by any means they could find, many were hopping train cars heading east, other were in overloaded jalopy’s, and still other hitched rides on any east bound vehicle that would pick them up.
There were over 17,000 WWI vets and their families when they arrived in Washington and soon became known as the ‘Bonus Army’. They set up a shanty town within the Anacostia flats part of the city and held daily peaceful protests. Some of the more radical veterans occupied abandoned buildings in the city.
Their arrival in Washington in spring 1932 was an embarrassment to President Herbert Hoover and his administration, and he still refused to give them the chance to lobby with himself in person, but Congress was more receptive.
On June 15th, the House of Representatives passed a bill that would pay the veterans there bonuses immediately, 2 days later the vote went to the Senate, as approximately 10,000 WWI vets gathered around the Capital building, Walter Waters, a former Army sergeant from Oregon and the leader of the Bonus Army, announced to a stunned, silent crowd that the Senate had defeated the bill by a vote of 62 to 18. “Sing America,” Waters said, “and go back to your billets.” And that is what they did.
Retired USMC Major General Smedley Butler, who at the time was America’s most colorful military figure, visited with the dejected Bonus Army and gave speeches to help them lift the morale and not give up the fight.
“You’ve got to get mad. You’ve got to hate. You’ve got to turn on these fellows who call you names such as “treasury raiders.” General Butler told them, “The only trouble with you veterans is that you still believe in Santa Claus. It’s time you woke up—it’s time you realized there’s another war on. It’s your war this time. Now get in there and fight.”
Army Chief of Staff Major General Douglas MacArthur was convinced that the Bonus Army was a communist conspiracy to undermine the government, and that the movement was actually more dangerous than veterans trying to secure funds from a nearly depleted federal treasury, this, even after MacArthur's own General Staff intelligence division reported in June that that most of the men seemed to be vehemently anti-Communist.
As the sweltering summer heat dragged on and the Bonus Army showed no signs of leaving, Hoover decided to act. He ordered General MacArthur to clear out Bonus City, the ramshackle camp of huts and tents where the veterans and their families had been living.
The sight of the federal government turning on its own citizens -- veterans, no less -- raised doubts about the fate of the republic. It still has the power to shock decades later.
The veterans were driven out by force, as rising military figures General Douglas MacArthur, Major Dwight Eisenhower and Major George Patton cleared out the "Bonus Army" and burned their camps.
MacArthur watched a brigade of steel-helmeted soldiers precisely align themselves in a straight four-column phalanx, bayonets affixed to rifles. He nodded his head in satisfaction. Discipline was wonderful. Up ahead, Major George Patton kicked his heels against his mount, and the big horse reared forward to signal a line of cavalry. The riders drew their sabers.
The most controversial moment in the whole affair - that directly involved General MacArthur. Secretary of War Hurley twice sent orders with Major Dwight Eisenhower to MacArthur indicating that the President, worried that the government reaction might look overly harsh, and did not wish the Army to pursue the Bonus Marchers across the bridge into their main encampment on the other side of the Anacostia River. But MacArthur, according to Eisenhower, "said he was too busy," did not want to be "bothered by people coming down and pretending to bring orders," and sent his men across the bridge anyway.
Major Eisenhower, believing it wrong for the Army's highest-ranking officer to lead an action against fellow American war veterans, strongly advised MacArthur against taking any public role: "I told that dumb son-of-a-bitch not to go down there," he said later. "I told him it was no place for the Chief of Staff."
At the end of the day, the toll was three dead, 54 injured and 135 arrests. The New York Times Headlines read: "Flames rose high over the desolate Anacostia flats at midnight tonight," The 1st sentence was, "and a pitiful stream of refugee veterans of the World War walked out of their home of the past two months, going they knew not where."

Fellow Christians, the time has come to question ourselves what is our purpose, what actually we live for, our ideology, what drive us to action with such a passion that make us to live for?
For to me, is to love each other and really be our brother’s keeper, to live as Christ, and to die if need be to save humanity. In fact, Christians have being a great role model for us; if we look at history, we will find that those who have done the most for this world have been the ones who have thought more of others and do whatever needs to be done to make their lives better. Christians have founded hospitals and universities. Christians have opened shelters. Christians are reaching out to the poor and the hurting in our world with the gospel of Christ, not only preaching to them, but clothing and feeding them as well. When a crisis develops somewhere in the world, such as famine or a natural disaster, it is often the Christians who lead the way in responding with help.
The truth is that we Christians are truly divine to do God’s work and seek justice and the greatest earthly good. Today we are called to re-store our Christian principles and values in our country; Our leaders had lost their moral compass and under the pretenses of Democracy, human/civil rights, the war on terror/drugs, U.S. Security and the best interest of the country; they become the world’s bully and developed a system of corruption to oppress the people; our government took part in murdering people including Americans, they were engage in drug trafficking and distribution in our country, killing thousands, they were the main money laundry agents for the drug cartels and the suppliers of arms to Mexico and others countries that were used in the killing of thousands of innocent people including children, they were involved in the use of drones to kill people that they suspect being against their agenda, in violation of our constitution and the rule of law. They were the architects of all the trades agreements with the WTO and many others countries that demised our economy and made millions of Americans and foreign workers economy slaves. The crimes committed by our government since Donald Reagan are so many that we can write many books to tell the complete story, but every one of the presidents since Reagan demonstrated that they are sick people, sociopaths and sycophants that committee crimes against humanity their rules are “the ends justified the means”, to them nothing matters killing Americans especially those that have knowledge about their crimes, they reward the inside criminals and punished the ones that want to follow the laws; this is the culture of corruption that we are up against.
Fellow Americans, knowledge and the truth will set us free, please be informed and get ready to stand for America, our Constitution and our God given rights to freedom and self-determination. . I pray for our unity, 100% of us Christians must stand united, we must stop our own demise; our Christian community said. “No more government corruption, no more Christian persecution in the USA, No more lies. Women and minorities who succeed via education, right choices and hard work, without Democratic Party intervention, upset the Democrats' applecart. These uppity women and minorities must be silenced at any and all cost.

Because they thrive on perceived victimized voting blocs, that explains why liberals and Democrats will not seriously address epidemic levels of black out-of-wedlock births, school dropouts, unemployment, urban poverty, black on black crime and genocidal abortion rates.
