Having spent the last 4 years studying this issue and placing over 245 pictures and documented text in a book www.cph-books.com I can tell you for a fact that every problem we have in this country could be eliminated if we address the CORE problem. WHAT IS IT? We, the American citizens are paying interest for the use of our own currency that we already own. In 1913 the Fed was formed by a group of wealthy elitist that didn't want America to "BLOW PAST" the rest of the world economically. The European Investment houses had all but enslaved europe's citizens with interest bearing bonds that came about as a result of these countries not owning their own currency. America was different. The only way to protect their wealth was to form a private system (The Fed) which could treat America as a private corporation and legally charged the citizens interest for the use of their own currency. This would slow down America's growth, increase the National debt, and divert America's wealth from the citizens to themselves. People must understand that we can reverse this by simply demanding (thru e-mails) that the FED be NATIONALIZED. Once it becomes an official branch of the U.S. Gov, Interest is no longer charged for the use of something we already own. The Bureau of Land Management’s siege of the Bundy Ranch in Nevada compels me to re-publish this post. I ask readers to carefully research this issue and to decide for yourself whether or not the federal government has violated public trust and the Rule of Law.
For a painfully long time now, our federal masters and their judicial enablers have ignored and, to my way of thinking, flagrantly violated the Constitution with impunity. All too often, Supreme Court rulings have served to override common sense, constitutionality and original intent.
And so long as black-robed, unelected and unaccountable judicial oligarchs, aka judges–as well as the submissive states themselves–allow “judicial supremacy” to trump “constitutional supremacy” on a whole host of foundational constitutional issues, our economic growth will be hobbled, our liberties diminished, state sovereignty further degraded, constitutional order imperiled, common sense and Rule of Law abandoned.
To wit, per Art 1.8.17 of the Constitution and provisions of the Northwest Ordinance of 1787, and despite a veritable cesspool of clubby, contrived and revisionist court rulings over the years through which I was barely able to wade, it appears glaringly obvious to me that our federal overseers are occupying millions of otherwise productive acres within the several states without the “concurrence” of those states and without constitutional justification.
Article 1.8.17 (“Enclave Clause”) granted power to Congress “to exercise exclusive legislation in all cases whatsoever, over such district (not exceeding ten miles square) as may, by cession of particular states, and the acceptance of Congress, become the seat of the government of the United States [i.e. the District of Columbia], and to exercise like authority over all places purchased by the consent of the legislature of the state in which the same shall be for the erection of forts, magazines, arsenals, dockyards, and other needful buildings.” Crystal-clear what the original meaning is here despite the shamelessly self-serving litany of subsequent spin on the part of our judicial overlords, lap dogs of the federal government.

Clearly this clause meant that the people of the states empowered Congress to exercise complete jurisdiction and authority over all lands or facilities purchased within a state, provided it was with the consent of the legislature of that state, and that such lands would be used for the erection of forts, magazines, arsenals, dock yards, and other needful buildings.” Clearly implied in this clause is that the several states, the immediate fiduciary agents of the people, reserve the right to assume title to all lands within their borders which are not being used by the federal government for the specific purposes provided in the clause, that being “the erection of forts, magazines, arsenals, dock yards, and other needful buildings.”
It is also important to note that nowhere in the Constitution is the federal government granted the enumerated power of complete jurisdiction and authority over state territory; thus, state retention and ownership of public lands stems from the 10th Amendment which reserves all rights to the states which are not specifically granted to Congress. The twisted and carefully crafted Delphic court rulings notwithstanding, the original meaning seems abundantly clear to me.
Art 4.3.1 allowed a mechanism for the formation and admission of new states into the union, and Art 4.3.2 described the extent of congressional authority over federal territory within those states. Subsequently, the Supreme Court ruled that federal property applies only to the territory at the time of the Constitution’s adoption and is considered public land only until that territory is granted statehood and the national debt incurred by the Revolutionary War is paid. In other words, temporary federal control over those lands.
In accordance with the Northwest Ordinance of 1787, which was re-enacted after the Constitution’s ratification, all new states were to be admitted to the union on the basis of full equality with the original thirteen states. It was generally understood that as territories were granted statehood, the people of those states would acquire title to all lands within their state boundaries—except, of course, those lands granted to the feds for those well-defined purposes cited in Art 1.8.17.
To help pay down the national debt, Congress assured the states of full title to those lands not used for federally sanctioned purposes when that land was sold off. The following then became the established policy for new states:
1. The feds would retain all ungranted public lands.
2. The feds guaranteed that it would dispose of these lands as soon as possible.
3. The new state would acquire jurisdiction over these lands as fast as they were sold to private individuals.
4. States would be admitted on the basis of “equal footing” with the original 13 states (each of which retained complete ownership/control over their respective territories.
As a result, all states east of the Mississippi and those comprising the Louisiana Purchase eventually acquired title to all but a very small portion of the land lying within their state boundaries.
However, following our war with Mexico, Congress inexplicably digressed from this policy and virtually eliminated the sale or disposal of federal lands in the western states. This resulted in Congress’s retaining major portions of those state lands, this in seemingly direct contravention of the Constitution and of the Northwest Ordinance. Essentially, the federal government became the sole owner and manager of nearly 30%, or a whopping 650 million acres, of America’s landmass, for the constitutionally unspecified purposes of maintaining national forests, national parks, national monuments, Indian reservations, coal and oil reserves, lands leased to farmers and ranchers, and resources-rich so-called “wilderness areas”. And, of course, the cost to taxpayers for maintaining the sprawling federal bureaucracy in order to manage these federally controlled lands is in the billions of dollars.
Federal defenders of this overreach breathlessly point to the so-called “property clause” (Art 4.3.2) which provides that “Congress shall have power to dispose of and make any needful rules and regulations respecting the territory or other property belonging to the United States and any territory or property belonging to the United States.” Clearly, doesn't this create a convenient constitutional ambiguity by contradicting the original intent of Art 1.8.17? Does this not exact restrictions on the western states, which had never been imposed on earlier states? So much for states being admitted into the union on “equal footing” and “full equality” with earlier states. Is federal retention of 30% of America’s real estate really a “necessary and proper” exercise of federal powers? For me to believe that would require a willful suspension of common sense.
To give you an idea of how much state land is now imperially held by the feds, check this out: NV 85%, AL 70%, UT, 60%, OR 53%, AZ 47%, CA 45%, WY 42%, NM 42%, CO 37%, and poor Alaska 96%! Note: 65% of federal land holdings are located west of the Mississippi and a paltry 1% of all federally controlled land in the country is currently being utilized for those specific purposes cited in Art 1.8.17. One must wonder why these lands are still being held by the feds. Pay off the Revolutionary War debt? Gee, I don’t think so. Lofty, if not entirely contrived, constitutional justifications? Or, more likely, the relentless federal grasp for power and, today, a way to placate a host of environmental allies by denying the states and the country access to those climate-warming pollutants such as oil and gas.
Regarding the Enclave Clause, James Madison stated that “the public money expended on such places, and the public property deposited in them, require that they should be exempt from the authority of the particular State. Nor would it be proper for the places on which the security of the entire Union may depend to be in any degree dependent on a particular member of it. All objections and scruples are here also obviated by requiring the concurrence of the States concerned in every such establishment.” But, have the courts sought the concurrence of the states? Nope.
Clearly, the federal government is occupying millions of acres without the “concurrence” of those states, but maintains their grip with the twisted and self-serving judicial sanction of federal Courts intent upon expanding and strengthening federal power.
So, what is the recourse of the several states? My opinion, which is shared by many other originalists, is that in keeping with the doctrine of state sovereignty, original intent and the 10th Amendment, states should simply legislatively assume title of all lands not being utilized by the federal government as specified in the Enclave Clause. Of course, to placate the courts and public opinion, states should first sue the federal government to acquire title. And since the states will not prevail in such a lopsided judicial struggle, they should then rightfully and unhesitatingly assert their 10th Amendment rights by immediately assuming direct ownership and control of what I have dubbed the “royal federal reserves” lying within their state boundaries.
But, do the chastened, weak-kneed, and heavily bribed states have the backbone to hazard the restoration of their constitutional sovereignty and honor? Ah, yes, that’s the burning question.
The constitutional issue aside for a moment, in truth the achievement of energy independence alone should provide ample motivation for the states and their people to step up and take back their land, which is illegally held by the feds. And should the states fail to assert their rights under the original constitution, they should quietly accept their bondage and compliantly move on with their drab, submissive lives.

After California Democratic Senator Dianne Feinstein’s legislation introduced in Congress last year, which would have imposed the biggest gun ban in American history failed, you would figure she would have tucked her tail between her hairy thighs and moved on to some other worthless legislation sure to fail. But not this old dog, she is determined to remove the 2nd Amendment from the American people’s rights.
Feinstein is circulating a letter on Capitol Hill calling once again for a ban on semi-automatic rifles and asking for President Barack Obama to keep his State of the Union promise to make 2014 a “year of action.”
Dear Mr. President:
During your State of the Union address, you stated that you want to make 2014 a “year of action.” We write to urge you to take immediate action to address the significant number of assault weapons that are being imported into the United States in contravention of federal law. We respectfully request that you take steps to ensure that the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) fully enforces the ban on the importation of these military-style firearms.
A provision of the Gun Control Act of 1968, codified at 18 U.S.C. § 925(d)(3), prohibits the importation of firearms that are not “generally recognized as particularly suitable for or readily adaptable to sporting purposes.” In recent years, however, importers of firearms have taken advantage of ATF’s interpretation of the “sporting purposes” test to evade the import ban. In 1998, the Department of the Treasury — which then housed ATF — issued guidance that interpreted the import ban to prohibit only semiautomatic rifles that use magazines originally designed for a military rifle. Many semiautomatic firearms on the market today do not have a military origin but are modeled closely after military firearms. These military-style firearms are not prohibited under the current import ban, even though they are functionally equivalent to prohibited rifles with a military origin. In addition, the Treasury Department’s 1998 guidance allows foreign-made firearms to be imported into the United States without military features, even though these firearms have the capacity to fire multiple times in quick succession without the need to reload and can easily have military features attached.

Sen. Feinstein’s diatribe against the 2nd Amendment continues in a long and nauseating attack that would unfortunately make everyone sick if the entire letter were placed here. In short, she is asking our President to do what he has done some many times before – make an executive order to ban the firearms that keep America safe from an overbearing government.
What amazes me is how this beastly woman can still be in office? Does anyone really listen to what she is saying? In 2013 Feinstein said all veterans have PTSD and should have their Second Amendment stripped. She may be even further left than the President himself!
Even the admittedly liberal newspaper, The Los Angeles Times printed an article by – Columnist Burt Prelutsky, where he may have given the best quote about the Senators from California ever.

The motto MOLON LABE (come and take them) can be seen from state to state. Militias have grown by at least eight times their size since 9/11. The writing has been on the wall for years, the people of America have awakened. A spark is all it would take to ignite the next American Revolution.
The government has languished in their corruption without fear of reprisal as far back as the Clinton administration (probably farther), when the White Water scandal threatened to ruin our standing President and his wife, any potential witness either disappeared or found themselves the victim of an untimely death. Since then, our government has only become bigger and more oppressive, due largely in part to the ratification of the Patriot Act.
The citizens of America have had their rights not only limited, but potentially changed, a Supreme Court ruling recently has decide to revise the term ‘Right’ to ‘Privilege’ in a landmark case on 2nd Amendment Rights. This decision could alter all of our rights to privileges. The founding Fathers explained that we were given these rights from God, not man, and no man can take them from us.
As this is being written, there is a potentially explosive scenario playing out in a little town in Southern Nevada. The Bureau of Land Management has taken on rancher Cliven Bundy over his cattle free grazing on Federal land without paying a grazing fee. The Bundy family has owned that land since 1887 and has always free grazed their cattle there.
Violence has erupted over the past week, and now there are over 200 armed federal agents surrounding the Bundy Ranch. However, this will not be another Ruby Ridge, militia men and others from at least 6 states have joined the Bundy family to help keep the peace. So far, no shots have been fired.
More likely, the spark that will ignite the next revolution will take place in mid-May, Retired US Army Col. Harry G. Riley, who runs the Patriots for America website, has organized a rally in Washington D.C. called ‘Operation American Spring.’ Col. Riley ultimately hopes that millions of American Patriots, including prior military and militia men will stop the government from operating business as usual politics, and will demand the resignation of a number of our top politicians, including the President, Vice-President, and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid. Col. Riley has the support of Retired Maj. Gen. Paul Vallely, who has also called on millions of Americans to “stand up” to a government that is “conducting treason and violating the Constitution.”
Revolution is inevitable; we the people must stand up for our rights and protect the Constitution. Without this we will lose our freedoms and become nothing more than slaves. Are you ready?

The conversation over the past few years of the Obama Administration, is "would our military turn on US Citizens?" The answer was 'No'. However, Obama has removed over 250 command staff and replaced them with his minions. And with this proposed legislation, making up our military with Criminal illegal foreign nationals, there is no doubt in my mind our US military will in fact turn on US Citizens should this proposal go through. The insidiousness of Obama and his syndicate goes beyond abominable. Does this question not resonate whenever one thinks of the ‘debauchery’ that has occurred to the American dollar by government design. ‘Why is Bernie Madoff incarcerated, while the administration, the congress, and the bureaucracy that is their agents, not? What could have happened to acerbate and excel such lack of knowledge, advancing this unparalleled ignorance?
How do we define the why of this problem? What is there about the average American today, that has perpetuated this absolute incomprehensible lack of understanding they—the public, the Federal Reserve, the banking system, wall street, the majority of the corporations in this nation, and definitely our congress, our administration, and the bureaucracy that does their bidding?
So we begin with the people themselves? Is our citizenry so incompetent, so illiterate—in economic realities—that even the words of description mean nothing? Have we so corrupted the world of reality, that our nation’s populace can’t distinguish fallacy from reality? Is there perhaps a more sinister reason, has the mental retardation of drug use…specifically marijuana…so retarded the mental capacity, rendering it incapable of ‘THINKING,’ we have lost reason? Is our nation somehow ‘evolved’ with this drugs use, ever the society itself—parent to child—has destroyed basic foundations of thought?
Is the answer in our ‘conformity,’ not education of our academic environment? Have we so disregarded thinking, and replaced it with the mantra of ideological dogma, we lost the objective of why there is the environment of education…and teaching? Is this fallacy of emotional falsehood, this feel good environment of self—self-interest—delusion, so convoluted our society that even the concepts of right and wrong are dismissed from the society in which we live? Is this not heathenism? As it is the definition, then is it also perhaps by losing our foundations of mores, morals, and the religious foundation of our society equally the problem?
Should we not consider this simple reality, today in the wallet…or the purse…of the average American is the means to wealth unknown even to kings of 3,000 years ago! That is remarkable, when one considers it. Today, with the magic of unlimited credit, perpetuating the consumer society, with but a piece of plastic, with magnetic bar code, you can buy anything from a candy bar to an automobile. Not only does our society have this absolute remarkable wealth, they have a plethora of consumer articles available. A world of economic miracle never conceived in the history of mankind. Has this so corrupted our concept of even the identification of wealth, we do not comprehend or understand what wealth is? Can we not compound that problem? How many are there in this nation, up to third generations, that have never made any connection between working, or effort, and results? Their very existence, and their families’ existence is, and has been dependent upon the Post Offices’ ability to deliver to them the wealth—stolen from others, or printed from thin air…they depend on, and feel entitled to—for their sustenance? How can those who are in this society, through political design, to make the recipients ‘obligated’ to vote for them politically—for their own self-interest—not feel as victims? How can this reduction of liberty, the degradation of even human existence, respect, or acknowledgement become the genre of their normality?
Is there not another problem beyond comprehension? Listening to the political ‘ideologies’ suggestions of how to make the situation correct itself, who would not be confused? The communism of Keynesian monetary and fiscal policy of the Democrats is easy to hear, the only problem it doesn’t make sense, nor has any record of ever making sense. As if to not be outdone, the Republicans have the concept of waving some magic wand, coming up with equally ridiculous concepts, and them saying, see this works. When in reality, no they didn’t they acerbated the problem, and accelerated it, as their concepts do not deal with the reason the problem exists.
Think of our poor Bernie Madoff, what did he do? He was a thief who created a way to steal, that those who were the victims believed they were gaining from this event. I challenge anyone, any who think they are an economist, understand business, commercialism, are in the debauchery of employment of the Federal Reserve, the insanity of reducing taxes—and the insanity of their presentations, the flat tax, the horizon tax, the value added tax, the vertical tax, the psychedelic tax, or the insanity tax—present an antithesis of this position! Can they even present one example of their illusions, or hallucinations that have been successful! I’ll guarantee they cannot. I’d stake my life, as they are staking your wealth on it.
Bernie stole by telling people, you give to me, I’ll give to you—what more could you want? Is this not the same message of the political parties in this nation? Oh they give to others in different way, they steal from the treasury—from all of us…who are in the game rather we wish to be or not—by giving back to some, while stealing from all. Was Bernie’s design any different? If so, I challenge anyone to explain the difference!
The dementia of both Keynesian insanity, and the lower taxes insanity, at their foundations are not only equal—they are exactly the same in theory—using different tools of reason. The communist plan, if we put more ‘artificial wealth’ ‘valueless dollars into the economy—perpetual motion will begin—and the economy, because of this injection will continue on robustly! It’s worked so well that every time it has been attempted there is only one and only one result. I’ll continually use this example, for there is no better, and it is something every American should know and understand. The results of Keynesian communist monetary and fiscal policy…as all of communist design…were best identified by Henry Morgenthau, Jr. who was the Secretary of the Treasury under the Administration of Franklin Roosevelt as the Great Depression and its rampant unemployment were of primary focus for Morgenthau. After almost two terms served by Roosevelt, Morgenthau assessed the federal effort to relieve economic conditions by proclaiming, "We have tried spending money. We are spending more than we have ever spent before and it does not work...After eight years of this administration we have just as much unemployment as when we started...and an enormous debt to boot!"
The lower taxes, through whatever illogical concept advanced, changing the tax concept to the above mentioned…the flat, round, square, or crazy tax…does what? The concept makes the revenue of the nation more, by allowing more of those who have capital, to invest that capital—excuse me isn’t this the same as the insanity of the communist plan of Keynesian insanity—to allow the expansion of business increasing the revenue environment? There is only one difference—the capital of those who are producers, invest in production—while the communist plan invest in anything but…unless it is crony capitalism of some ideology…in the enterprise of the economy.
The result, tax revenue increases, the ‘deficit’ between the—as our illustrious one call it…insanity beyond reason…revenue—taxes and the government expenditures are less. Were any of the reasons for the problem corrected? Do you know? Have you thought about it, or do you accept the propaganda of lies—supplied by the Republicans—that it was so good, things were doing so well. Yes they were—if we compare it to the absolute incomprehensible incompetence of the Jimmy Carter fiasco. What if we compare it to political design of say, the long lasting corrections of Warren Harding, who corrected the problem? Would it even be comparable? I’ll save you the trouble of the research—there would be nothing comparative. Why, you may ask. It’s simple, Harding identified the errors, and dealt with what the errors were. Regan, as he was handicapped by the wondrous absolute incompetence beyond measure of Tip…never met a drink I didn’t take…O’Neal. The result of course, in the term of Ronald Regan, with the reduction of taxes, the debt ceiling was raised under Regan 17 times. Why, because the problem wasn’t addressed. The problem is not gaining more of the pie, or even making a bigger pie. The problem was then, as now, is not the revenue side. It is not the tax side. It is nothing but the spending side and the spending sides only. The reason that Harding’s design worked, and the reason it is the only way you can ever correct the problem. Remember it was the Republicans who broke the trillion dollar barrier, that was all that stood between the inanity we have today, and the Republican mess created by Nixon when the dollar was separated from the gold standard. Not only did Regan’s presidency break this barrier—it tripled—the debt from $1 Trillion, the base, to $3 Trillion in his presidency. Yes, he was a great president compared to Carter, but he was what he was. A great American, but he was as clueless of the economic realities of enterprise as our current disgrace.
Whenever anyone makes a deal with the devil—as Regan did with O’Neal—the results should be expected. For every dollar that Regan increased the—sic (oBOMBa) definition, revenue, taxes—O’Neal and the wondrous Democrats, with the increased revenue, then borrowed $2.50 more for each dollar of revenue. Folks for every dollar of a pay raise you get, if you spend $3.50. I’ll guarantee you that you will be more in debt!
Think of the results of these actions. Today the most incompetent man to have perhaps ever walked the surface of this planet, is increasing the debt of this nation, by not a Trillion over the term of his presidency, but has so far averaged over—the estimate by independent auditors, not the propagandist of government coercion—of close to $3 trillion a year! Think of that, in but 5 years, we see the increase of debt, the debauchery of our currency, and the legislative intrusion into our society—creating expense for those in enterprise…resulting in cost we have no way now to even estimate…as corruption of our society for perpetuity; as long as this nation exists.
Could it be worse? Unfortunately it not only can it is. Since 1918 when this nation, by its economic strength, transposed the English Pound as the world currency—what small stability that could be established was based on the—solid currency—policy…in its abated reference of our own economic (communist) policies—had some limited effect, worldwide on some currency stabilization. When this nation monetized our currency policy, creating this present scenario of absolute—I lack the word, perhaps ideocracy—of our current monetary policy. It opened the floodgates to the absolute nonexistence of any monetary policy worldwide. Advancing not only the debauchery of currency, through inflationary policy, while advancing deflationary earning reductions created by the loss of wealth in the value of our currency—not only to this nation, but to all other nations worldwide. The direct result that the more and more economic and monetary incompetency was advanced in this nation—the same wealth and value of currency worldwide, was also destroyed. The result, today every nation on the face of this planet, all nations, without exception, is in the same conundrum of economic insanity—the communist monetary policy—of their own governments.
Think of this for just a minute. What if Regan would have undone the genesis of our nation’s problems, instead of kicking the can down the road, to be dealt with later? What if, the Republicans would have initiated that the dollar be tied to something of value, if not gold, perhaps another thing that must be created by effort, not some relativism of government ideology. What if the cancerous bureaucracies of Carter, Johnson, and Franklin Roosevelt would have been reduced, and removed, instead of their existence concreted, establishing them in stone, while being expanded. Think of a world without the EPA, the HUD, and all of the altruistic societies—the parasites feeding off the life blood of this nation—would have been removed! It is a world, a society, a nation that is beyond comprehension considering that today, we as a nation accept the thought of government, intruding into every segment, every corner, everything of our society.
With this economic change, of world currency position, another possibility, beyond the insanity of any nation, anywhere for any reason, occurred. Those with this new power—this magical capacity—this nation could make wealth out of thin air. A power no nation had ever decided that they could by some relativism of what the wealth of the dollar would be—politically—influence all societies…economic policy…beyond our shores, in the world economy, advancing the corruption of our monetary illiteracy.
How did we use it? The absolute corruptive insanity of the international monetary fund, using the communist tool of finance, and capitalization, to direct not only our nation’s direction, but the other nations of this planet.
The example, of our attempt to temper the actions of Russia in the Ukraine, the absolute useless policies of sanctions against Iran, Iraq, Libya, Syria, and just about every other nation on the face of the earth. The two edged sword yielded as ineffectively no matter how. First, if you do not comply, we will chastise you, and not allow you in the society of our economic dominance, and our wealth—imaginary at best, illusionary in reality. If not we will loan you some of this same fallacy, making you a debtor and obligated to our system. The result, those who ‘steal the wealth,’ of our benevolence, use that wealth for what? They use it to perpetuate their power, in the political spectrum buying the votes, the same as this nation, the Bernie Madoff policy of both political parties.
Excuse the length, I know many are literacy challenged, and if too long, as the average American have an attention span less than a great white shark of 3 seconds, it may be strenuous.
We are not in some easy scenario. Our pending demise—economically—is not something that can be corrected easily. It can never be corrected if as a society—as currently—we remain absolutely ignorant—of not only the problem, but even the esoteric of the language of the problem.
Today, the powers of Russia, China, and Iran—all with wealth—created by the lifeblood of modern society…oil…are devising how they shall leave the irrational economic currency policy perpetuated by this nation. It matters not if they use, dollars of barter, trade, or whatever the…real and tangible… means of measurement they decide on, it will destroy this fallacy of ‘thin air’ monetary policy of this nation.
The result, the debauchery of the communist policy to destroy this nation will be complete. Our wealth, being destroyed by our own government at an ever-increasing rate, while we stand in not only mute silence, but in cognitive of the reality. The dollar will have no value. Our printing presses will be of no use. The wealth of a great nation will have disappeared in the time frame of our life’s experience.

WASHINGTON – In a move lawmakers and farmers are calling “the biggest land grab in the history of the world,” the Environmental Protection Agency is requesting jurisdiction over all public and private streams in the United States that are “intermittent, seasonal and rain-dependent.”
The EPA and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in late March jointly released a proposed rule, Waters of the United States, in an effort to clarify which streams and wetlands are protected under the Clean Water Act.
A statement issued by the EPA says “the proposed rule will benefit businesses by increasing efficiency in determining coverage of the Clean Water Act.”
But some lawmakers strongly disagree.
According to congressional budget testimony last week, Waters of the United States would give the EPA authority over streams on private property even when the water beds have been dry, in some cases for hundreds of years.
Calling it “the biggest land grab in the history of the world,” House Appropriations Committee Chairman Rep. Harold Rogers, R-Ky., said the “economic impact of that would be profound.”
“A community needing to build on private land that had on it one of these so-called streams that you considered a waterway under the new rule would have to travel thousands, hundreds of miles to D.C., to get approval,” Rogers said.
The congressman argued it “would absolutely freeze economic activity in this country.”
Rogers said the proposal is “proof in and of itself of the mal-intent of this administration toward the private sector.”
Civil liberties
When Sen. Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska, probed EPA Administrator Gina McCarthy further about how the new Waters of the United States rule would affect Americans’ civil liberties and ability to conduct business, McCarthy was unable to cite specifics.
She said the rule is currently posted on the EPA website for a 90-day commenting period and the scientific basis to support it has not been completed.
The proposed rule tinkers with the definition of “navigable” waters, which was the central point of litigation in a battle between the Supreme Court and the EPA regarding the Clean Water Act.
“We are clarifying protection for the upstream waters that are absolutely vital to downstream communities,” McCarthy said.
“Clean water is essential to every single American, from families who rely on safe places to swim and healthy fish to eat, to farmers who need abundant and reliable sources of water to grow their crops, to hunters and fishermen who depend on healthy waters for recreation and their work, and to businesses that need a steady supply of water for operations.”
Jo-Ellen Darcy, assistant secretary of the Army for civil works, argued the nation’s waters and wetlands “are valuable resources that must be protected today and for future generations.”
“Today’s rulemaking will better protect our aquatic resources, by strengthening the consistency, predictability, and transparency of our jurisdictional determinations,” she said. “The rule’s clarifications will result in a better public service nationwide.”
McCarthy went on to explain that the EPA is working closely with the USDA to further regulate 56 farm practices that are considered exempt under the Clean Water Act.
“We not only took the exemptions, but we developed this interpretive rule that identified 56 farm practices, working with USDA, so that if these farm practices are what you’re doing, you didn’t need to ask a single question about whether they’re exempt,” McCarthy said.
‘Not so friendly’
But lawmakers and farmers express concern that this kind of regulation would allow the EPA in conjunction with the Bureau of Land Management, the Department of Energy and the Army to dictate on a never-before-seen scale everything from grazing rights, food production, animal health and the use of energy on private lands.
“We’re hearing from farm groups throughout the United States about uncertainties regarding agricultural exemptions,” Murkowski said. “They say it’s not so farm-friendly as the statements that have been made by your administration.”
When lawmakers questioned McCarthy on the extent of the regulation’s reach, including who would be fined if the rules are violated and where the money would go, McCarthy could not give a clear answer.
She said only that the scientific study on which the proposed rule is based is still under way.

The federal government’s over-the-top police action against the Bundy family ranch is an ominous portent of more to come, as rogue agencies and their corporate/NGO partners attempt to “cleanse” the West of ranchers, farmers, miners, loggers, and other determined property owners.
On Saturday, April 12, the federal bureaucrats backed down. Faced with hundreds of men and women on horseback and on foot who were armed with firearms and video cameras — as well as local television broadcast stations and independent media streaming live video and radio feeds across America — the Obama administration called off the Bureau of Land Management’s (BLM) operation to confiscate hundreds of cattle belonging to Cliven Bundy, the current patriarch of a respected pioneer family that has been ranching in Nevada’s Clark County since the 1800s.
Supporters from all across the United States had converged on the Bunkerville, Nevada, area in support of Bundy, who is the “last rancher standing” in Clark County, due to a decades-long campaign by federal agencies and allied enviro-activists to drive all ranchers off of the range. After a tense standoff, orders came down from above for the surrounded and outnumbered federal agents to “stand down” and turn loose the Bundy cattle that had been corralled.
On Saturday, before the resolution of the standoff, The New American talked to Richard Mack, the former sheriff of Graham County, Arizona, and founder of the Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association (CSPOA), as he headed from a meeting of public officials to a press conference at the Bundy Ranch. He was very grave and worried at the time that the situation could spin out of control, and that federal agents might open fire on citizens. He also expressed his exasperation at Nevada Governor Brian Sandoval and Clark County Sheriff Douglass Gillespie. “If Governor Sandoval and Sheriff Gillespie were doing the jobs they were elected to do, they would have stopped this from getting to a dangerous point,” Sheriff Mack said. “There are lots of things they could have done to defuse this situation, including telling the Feds to ‘stand down,’ and to assert their own jurisdiction and force the federal authorities to obey the law, including the Constitution and the laws of the state of Nevada,” he noted. “I have a very bad feeling about this,” he continued, adding that he hoped the tensions would be deescalated and a peaceful outcome negotiated.
Fortunately, most likely due to the national attention that the Bundy situation was receiving, federal officials backed off, the demonstrators and supporters remained peaceful, and a violent confrontation was averted. However, that does not end the affair. Members of the Bundy family and supporters, such as Sheriff Mack, expressed concerns that the evacuation of the federal police force might be a feint, and that there may be plans for them to return the following day, or as soon as the supporters and television crews had departed.
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, whose personal financial stake in the Bundy eviction has been called into question, let it be known that he wants to see the matter pursued.
“Well, it’s not over,” Reid told NBC’s Nevada affiliate KRNV on Monday, April 14. “We can’t have an American people that violate the law and then just walk away from it. So it’s not over.”
Senator Reid, Nevada’s senior senator, is very incensed when the American people, i.e., ordinary citizens, “violate the law” — as he puts it — but he says nothing about the more serious violations of the laws and the Constitution by public officials, such as himself or the BLM officials.
This is the same federal BLM that Chief Judge Robert C. Jones of the Federal District Court of Nevada last year ruled had been engaged in a decades-long criminal “conspiracy” against the Wayne Hage family, fellow ranchers and friends of the Bundys. Among other things, Judge Jones accused the federal bureaucrats of racketeering under the federal RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corruption Organizations) statute, and accused them as well of extortion, mail fraud, and fraud, in an effort “to kill the business of Mr. Hage.” In fact, the government’s actions were so malicious, said the judge, as to “shock the conscience of the Court.” Judge Jones granted an injunction against the agencies and referred area BLM and Forest Service managers to the Justice Department for prosecution.
Has Attorney General Eric Holder prosecuted any federal officials for criminal activity and violation of the Hage family’s constitutionally protected rights? No. Has Sen. Harry Reid denounced this lawlessness and criminal activity by government officials and call upon President Obama and Attorney General Holder to protect the citizens of his state from the depredations of federal officials under their command? No.
Huge Federal Footprint: And a Boot on Every Neck
With attitudes such as those expressed above by Sen. Harry Reid, it is almost a certainty that the recently defused Bundy Ranch standoff will be replayed again — and in the not-too-distant future. And the outcome could be much less amicable for all concerned.
And this is but one of many incidents that can be expected, because the Bundy family are not the only victims in the federal crosshairs. The BLM, U.S. Forest Service (USFS), National Park Service (NPS), U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service (USFWS), U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), and other federal agencies own and/or control hundreds of millions of acres of the 12 western states. The federal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is not as large a landlord as some of these bigger agencies, but it exercises enormous regulatory clout over both private and public lands, air, and water. And while the EPA’s draconian, arbitrary, and costly regulations affect the entire country, they fall especially hard on the states in the West, where the federal impact is already massive due to the outsized footprint of the federal agencies.
As the accompanying map graphically demonstrates, there is a striking difference between the federal government’s claim to physical real estate in the states of East and the Midwest versus those of the West. In Maine, for instance, federal agencies occupy only 1.1 percent of the state’s land area; in New York it’s a mere 0.8 percent. The federal government claims only 1.8 percent of Indiana, 1.6 percent of Alabama, and 1.7 percent of Ohio. But in the Western states, the federal footprint covers from nearly one-third to over four-fifths of the area of the states.
Here are the ugly facts of the federal government’s ownership of the lands in the Western states:
Nevada: 84.5 percent
Alaska: 69.1 percent
Utah: 57.4 percent
Oregon: 53.1 percent
Idaho: 50.2 percent
Arizona: 48.1 percent
California: 45.3 percent
Wyoming: 42.4 percent
New Mexico: 41.8 percent
Colorado: 36.6 percent
Washington: 30.3 percent
Montana: 29.9 percent
These and many more relevant statistics can be found in Federal Real Property Report for Fiscal Year 2012 (the latest available) from the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA). For instance, in addition to its enormous real estate portfolio, the U.S. Department of Interior (home to BLM, NPS, USFWS) boasts 43,554 buildings covering more than 107.1 million square feet. These agencies, together with the Forest Service, exercise an enormous — and harmful — impact on the economies, livelihoods, and politics of the Western states. And, contrary to the claims of the federal advocates, federal policies are also taking a devastating toll on the environment of the West, most especially as manifested in the destruction of millions of acres of national forests through mismanagement, which has led to immense insect infestations and super-nova wildfires.
Yet, President Obama is following the example of his predecessors and unconstitutionally taking millions more acres in the Western states, under the pretext of protecting “endangered species.” (See: “Specious Endangerment: Obama Awards Spotted Owls 9.6 Million Acres” and “Obama Using ‘Endangered’ Species to Kill Economy, Push Extreme Agenda.”)
Because this has been the “normal” status of things for generations, the enormity and significance of this picture often passes unnoticed and unconsidered by most Americans. But in our current economic crisis, and with mounting friction caused by imperial edicts emanating from federal agencies, many citizens and state and local governments are being forced to reevaluate our unbalanced federal relationship.
Our Founding Fathers did not intend for new territories that would be admitted to statehood in the future to be unfairly shackled by the central government; they would not have countenanced that the people of Nevada, Utah, Idaho, and Alaska, for instance, would be groveling under the thumbs of politicians from New York, Massachusetts, and Pennsylvania. As Joe Wolverton noted in a recent article for The New American, they intended for future states to be admitted into the Union on a “equal footing” with the existing states. They most certainly did not intend for politicians of the Eastern states and federal bureaucrats to enjoy a stranglehold on the lifeblood of the people of the Western states.
And as those politicians and bureaucrats continue to tighten their chokehold on the people who own and work the land, there will inevitably be conflict. Even peaceful, law-abiding people will not stand idly by while their own life’s work and that of their forebears is being taken by lawless officials. The solution is for the American public to put pressure on all their elected officials — state, local, and federal — to stop strangling our fellow citizens. Ultimately, that means decentralizing, and dramatically downsizing (and then abolishing) many of these agencies and returning the land to the states and the people. The people of the Western states must be allowed to determine their own futures, to enjoy the blessings of liberty, just as Americans in all the other states have experienced. Related articles:

Surviving liberalism, especially the Obama-Pelosi-Reid variety, without drugs and alcohol can be a formidable task. Mind you, it is possible, provided one has a strong recovery program and a vast right- wing conspiracy to lean on for moral support.
The following 12-step program is offered free of charge for liberals ready to get right with life. Follow these simple steps and you can be healed in time for the November 4 election at which time you can join the revolution to take America back.
The twelve steps.
We recovering liberals:
Step 1: Admitted to being powerless over insane, illogical, and anti-American thinking spawned by liberalism which has made America unmanageable.
Step 2: Came to believe that a power greater than the combined forces of the DNC and the mainstream media could restore sanity to America.
Step 3. Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of social and fiscal conservatives for restoration of traditional family values and common decency.
Step 4. Made a searching and fearless moral inventory of all liberal politicians who must be removed from office, or prevented from securing elective office in the first place.
Step 5. Admitted to ourselves and, everyone else who would listen, the exact nature of wrongs committed by liberals.
Step 6. Were entirely ready to have conservative candidates remove all defective characters (liberals) from political office.

Step 7. Humbly worked to remove liberals from elective offices in all local, state, and federal jurisdictions.
Step 8. Made a list of all American patriot groups harmed by liberals and became willing to make amends to them all by winning the war on terror; reducing taxes, outlawing abortion, etc.
Step 9. Made direct amends to all such patriot groups wherever possible, except when to do so would cause them to register and or vote for Democrats.
Step 10. Continued to take inventory of all liberals and when they were wrong promptly admitted it and told them so..
Step 11. Sought through talk radio and blogging to improve public acceptance of conservative values as we understand them, and to improve our conscious contact with eligible voters everywhere, seeking only to win the White House and conservative majorities in both chambers of the U.S. Congress in order to have the power to advance the conservative vision for America.
Step 12. Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these steps, we tried to carry this message to all legal voters, and to practice these conservative principles in all our affairs.
To those too weak to adhere to this simple program, we recommend that the suffering liberal either take up smoking or excessive eating until the urge to think like a liberal passes.
Remember, even though liberalism is a severe mental disorder, it can be defeated!

What type of a government demands an apology from a doctor who outlines a fantastic way to avoid Obamacare? The answer is simple, the government cannot believe that anyone would possibly disagree with anything that the current administration says. A bit of wisdom from one who once aspired to being a man of the cloth: ReadingRevelations in the Bible should NOT be undertaken immediately before going to sleep!
Although the overall news—the return of Jesus Christ—is powerfully good, the description of things to come before one rests at the Right Hand of God in eternal glory can be unsettling, to say the least.
So unsettling that frightening dreams may ensue, thereby interrupting any chance one might have of enjoying blissful sleep.
Of course, with the tyrannical president and Congress now encumbering America, exposure to unsettling news is almost impossible to escape. It’s what Obama and the Democrats do for a living, all in the name of “Progressive” liberation!
Liberation from one’s wealth, freedom, individuality, and common sense, that is!
From Obamacare; to the Bundy Ranch armed invasion by government supported by the Majority Leader of the US Senate owing to a vested desire to reward China with a solar power facility AND to enrich offspring and other familial interests; to $17 trillion in federal debt; to incendiary rhetoric from the Minority Leader of the US House intended to incite a race war in an election year, to the general dissatisfaction with the direction in which the nation is headed—the news from Washington D.C. is almost all dreadful, especially for those who believe that limited government and a free and vibrant electorate are necessary to fulfill the “pursuit of happiness.”
Compared to all the negative news about the misdeeds of evil men and women in Washington, D.C., the descriptions in Revelations, while frightening, can also be exhilaratingly refreshing and uplifting!
Indeed, news of wars, rumors of wars, earthquakes, blood moons, and the like can be seen as hopeful signs that the End Times are nigh, that the decadence and moral decay which permeates the human spirit will soon (?) be disposed of in accordance with eternal and spiritual law.
Thus, rejoice when the ground shakes, rattles, and rolls, or when Barack Obama tells another lie!
It just may be the Creator’s way of reminding the faithful that “this too shall pass!” in the fullness of time!
Alas, another reporter asked me the same question I have been repeatedly asked for the past five years. “As an African American, why are you a member of the Tea Party?” It dawned on me to ask the reporter, “If you are a thinking patriotic American, why are you NOT a member of the Tea Party?”
It is stunning that reporters can not see the absurdity and racism against white voters in their assumption that Tea Party membership (push back against Obama's agenda) equals racism.
For the first time in U.S. history are Americans required to submit to their president's agenda or suffer the mainstream media and Democratic party branding an “R” on their forehead for racist? Does our president's skin color repeal our right to disagree with government?
The MSM and Democratic party declaring all opposition to Obama's agenda racist is a despicable divisive tactic. They are exploiting Obama's skin-color to further their socialist/progressive agenda (full court press hostile government takeover of our lives).
Another question repeatedly asked by reporters is, “If the Tea Party is not racist, why are its members mostly white?” I reply, “Could it be that a majority of black voters are ill-informed, clueless and/or racist? Why are you making the Tea Party responsible for blacks not showing up?”
In 2008, when I heard presidential candidate Barack Obama tell Joe-the-Plumber that he wanted to spread the wealth around, I knew Obama was a socialist and the wrong man to lead my country.
To my utter amazement, who Obama is as a human being and his plan for America was totally irrelevant to my family, friends and 96% of black voters including some black conservatives and Republicans. It was a black code thing. Support the brother no matter what.
My decision to campaign and vote against Obama due to his far left radical associations, pro infanticide voting record http://bit.ly/1cIIVSp and socialistic vision for my country made me an outcast and a traitor to my race. Is there a monolithic “racist” black vote? You bet there is. Black racism is as evil and unacceptable as white racism.
White liberals were equally outraged that I dared to judge Obama by the content of his character rather than the color of his skin. White liberal paragons of fairness, tolerance and self-proclaimed champions of minorities called me a “stupid self loathing n*****” for not voting for Obama.
Along with millions of white Obama voters shocked and outraged over his unprecedented takeover of the auto industry, banks and repeated ignoring of the Constitution, I joined the Tea Party.
The MSM and Democratic party are insisting that we surrender our will and our country. They demand that we act like brain dead obedient supplicants of King Obama, less we risk public humiliation charged with racism. Heaven forbid.
Hall of Fame baseball player Hank Aaron is the latest black celeb to call opposing Obama equal to being a member of the KKK. http://bit.ly/1k17bSY Hank, I love you bro. But your accusation is racist, evil and beneath you.
How are you, Mr Aaron, suddenly able to read the hearts, minds and intentions of the entire GOP and millions of Americans in the Tea Party? Can you not see how insidiously evil, intellectually vacant and tyrannical it is to brand all opposition to the president's agenda racist?
And yet, to silence the GOP and conservatives, the mainstream media and Democratic party continues to promote the ridiculous narrative that “opposing Obama is racist”. This tactic has successfully rendered most of the GOP impotent, cowering in their boots, fearful of that hot “R” brand on their foreheads. Many well-intentioned Americans have been silenced.
I submit that we conservatives and Republicans rip the racism branding iron from the hands of the MSM and Democratic party and point it in their direction. They are the true racists.
White America, when the left calls you a racist for pushing back against socialism, let it roll off your back like water off a duck. America is far too precious to allow it to be destroyed (fundamentally transformed) by the MSM and Democratic party's use of racial intimidation, race baiting and race exploitation. We can not allow ourselves to be silenced.
The MSM and Democratic party have no problem with setting back national race relations, polarizing Americans along racial lines to implement their mission of government controlling every aspect of our lives.

#4. In 2008, the US Senate created SR-511 for Senator McCain = very obvious Congress understands the Constitutional requirements for eligibility of a President. (hillary and obama signed this - no corresponding SR on obama).
#5. In the year 1875; SCOTUS case 88 U.S. 162, Minor v. Happersett = Supreme Court defines Constitutional term "Natural Born Citizen".
#6. Since 2004 Mr. Obama himself, on multiple occasions - many of them on camera - has CLEARLY stated his father was from Kenya. He published a book stating his father was from Kenya. When he ran for Senate office in 2004 his claims were HE was from Kenya (AP Archives).
So Congress does not have a leg to stand on. They KNOW the rules, they understand the Constitution and requirements to BE a U.S. President.
This is especially disturbing when you consider the Democrats in Congress created SR-511 with the exact wording requirements of the Constitution........ and the Chairman of the Senate Judicial Committee Senator Patrick Leahy signed it.
I strongly urge you to contact your elected and demand this illegal, ineligible, corrupt and lawless administration be immediately removed in it's entirety. I do not believe we have until November to do this - I believe it must be done now or we may not have that ability by November...
Just take a look at what has been happening in Nevada, the revelations Senator Reid and sons are involved - as well as the Chinese and billions of dollars............ US taxpayer dollars - with a trail leading back to the White House revealed by Congressman Rob Bishop.
And as a sideline - the fact BLM had signs already made stating "1st Amendment Zone" to post at the Bundy Ranch.... should be extremely disturbing to everyone.
If you are writing a Democrat elected - make certain they understand in no uncertain terms their future employment as any kind of politician is at stake if they choose to support an usurper and ineligible individual who has been actively destroying our Nation and funding our enemies with our tax dollars.
With certain RINO Republicans - you might want to make the same kind of statements.........
