Howdy all!  Sometimes I think I am too verbal.  Heck I know my wife thinks so quite often.  So today, I give you a light snack as food for thought.

This is for those who feel their efforts may be waning on preventing any redistribution of wealth.  Since Jefferson was obviously talking about it in 1816, we must realize that the effort to prevent redistribution has not ceased in almost 200 years.  It won’t end; that is as long as we find the idea anti-American.  Once we stop trying, the efforts will be over; for good.  We must all realize that this entire effort will not be over in November of this year, or next year, or next decade.

We must not limit our efforts to our rallies, and signs, and costumes and votes.  It is imperative that we teach our children to follow our lead.  And we must also teach them that they must teach their children as well.  The city on the hill will slip into the abyss if we don’t re-fortify the foundation from time to time.

Howdy all!  You know, being a grandfather is so much fun.   You get to play with the greatest toy God has ever given you.  And then pass them off when they mess their pants!  And sometimes it’s fun to take care of that as well.  You know, when the little darling is giving mama a terrible time on the changing pad, kicking and screaming while mama tries to clean.  Then Grandpa gets his turn, and the little darling is so gentle and loving and playful.  And the best part is, I get to tell mama “See!  This isn’t so hard!”  Next time though, I will just have to remember to duck.

Why does the ‘race card’ exist?  Any guesses?  I have one.  It’s because those who use it have no valuable response otherwise.  And the more correct the point, the louder and angrier the race card gets tossed around.  I have not heard or witnessed a single successful usage of the race card in winning a debate.  So, why is it so successful at winning over the public?  Habit.  I heard once that if you do something for at least 70 times, it will be become a habit.  Using the race card becomes habit.  Hearing the race card becomes habit; so much so that it is more a comfort to hear than the truth.  Isn’t that sad?  And the worst part, the races card is almost always delivered with anger.  Example, the economy.  The President wants to collect more taxes for the entitlements promised to those in need as well as those in want.  More the latter I would think.  Jefferson commented about spending here.  Swindling futurity on a grand scale.  We hear that today in other forms, such as spending our grandchildren’s future away.  But those who spend it, on both sides of the aisle don’t care one iota.  Now, that makes us all mad right?  RIGHT??  Sure it does.  Those on the GOP side state how raising taxes ineffective at restoring the economy.  Those on the respond that the right hates Obama and everything he does because he is black.   (???)  How they make that correlation is beyond me.  But those who are used to hearing the race card seemingly accept the response like Pavlov’s dogs.

Yelling at the federally elected employees has no affect.  So, what does?  Simple; cast a silent, peaceful, cordial, courteous, even jovial vote for someone else.  These employees of ours still believe the old political game is going strong.  They don’t even know how wrong they are.  But we don’t have to yell at them.  We don’t have to use vitriol.  We especially don’t have to use the race card.  Just punch out a chad, mark a box, click a link and “Voice a choice”.  It’s that simple, that peaceful and that effective.  We don’t need to flare up any temper, theirs or ours.  Just vote.

Howdy all!  Well, I’ve been busy for the last few days, so I have not been able to share with you.  But, I ain’t gone yet!

We the People are a tough bunch of buggers.  American arrogance; is that a bad thing?  Heck no.  We have earned the respect of the world by our power.  And, we have earned the respect of the world by our honor, our charity, our kindness, our fortitude, our ingenuity, our tenacity, our reverence of youthful innocence, our unwillingness dip our flag to others.  (And they wonder why We the People get so bent out of shape at the sight of our lead employee bowing to any other leader!)  We are the anchor of our nation.  We are the steadfast.  We are the leaders of our nation.  And, yes; we are the ones who elected our president.  It doesn’t matter what name you marked up in 2008.  The president is the president.   At least we know now that the other choice wasn’t much better, outside of his VP choice. 

We are unequivocal in our principle.  Yet many of our countrymen don’t yet realize we are in trouble.  Those of us, who do know, have the responsibility to enlighten our friends and neighbors.  We have the responsibility to protect our nation, our Constitution, and our arrogance.  True American exceptionalism is a product of true American arrogance.  It is time to put our arrogance to work; to do a great deal of good for the cause of freedom and harmony.  We are not violent.  We are not silent anymore.  We will not accept any tyranny.  We will not accept any socialistic, Marxist or any similar form of government.  We will keep our guaranteed republic, thank you very much!  And we expect, no DEMAND that you follow the laws that have been established! ALL to the letter!  If there is an immigration law, ENFORCE IT.  If there is a speed limit, ENFORCE IT.  And, if there is no other way to eliminate the ACA (Obamacare), then ALL Americans should abide, STARTING WITH EVERY SINGLE MEMBER OF EVERY BRANCH OF GOVERNMENT.  Turn your private doctors over to the hospitals.  Turn in your swanky dentist offices.  And get in line along with us.  No exemptions, none.  No business, no rich, no poor, no politician, no religious group, no union, no NOTHING gets a free ride; not on my back!  If this president wants a single payer health care plan, then the 3 branches of government join FIRST.  Then, let’s see how long it lasts.

Arrogance; Exceptionalism; the true nature of the American.  Understand this truth, and the truth will set you and us all free.

Why is it, that so many emails I get are from people who ‘have the answer’ to fix our dilemma, yet all they can tell us about their fix is that they need our donations?  WHAT??  And worse, when those who send the emails, asking for money are RINOS, or just plain turncoats?  Picture this; a guy who is a state attorney general, joins the fight on Obamacare.  He is one of the 26.  Then the SCOTUS upholds, defeating the 26.  Then what?  This guy says he only joined to stop the mandate, and now doesn’t even want to repeal the AHA.  SAY IT ISN’T SO, JOE!  Sadly, it is so.  He is Rob McKenna; the man, the myth, the RINO.  Washington State AG, running against Jay Inslee, the liberal’s liberal congressman turned gubernatorial candidate.  Yes, even one of the mighty 26 is a progressive.  Are there more?  How about any other RINO’s in governor races?  How many in races for Congress, or Senate?  Yes, they are out there; hiding like snakes in the grass.  They saw how Obama did it in 2008 and think they can too. 

Resolve?  You need to decide who on your ballot deserves your vote.  Do your homework.  Don’t let those emails, asking for your hard earned money, tell you how great their candidate is.  The wheel has been invented.  Toast is no better now than with the toaster your grandmother had.  These folks may have the answer, and they may not.  So you must do your homework. 

Encouragement?  Here’s an example of one person who not only deserves my vote, but is a shining example for all to follow.  His name is Shahram Hadian.  And, as you can tell by his name, he is from the Middle East.  But believe me, he is the most conservative Christian candidate for any race in any state I know.  He is running for Wa. State Governor.  Just his life story alone is so inspiring, it makes you want to stand and cheer for him, just like they did at a few county conventions this year across our state.  But there’s so much more.  Just last night, I sent this response to AG McKenna’s request for money and added it to my facebook page, “ARE YOU KIDDING????? You really think anyone on the eastern side of the cascades will give you the time of day? You say you don't want to repeal Obamacare? You say we should just move forward? FINE! I am! I think I will contact the Hadian campaign to see if they need my donations. You say we should move on? WHY DON'T YOU AND GET OUT OF THE RACE???”  And within 2 minutes Mr Hadian responded himself!  No flunky, minion or twidget sent me a canned response.  (They always drive me nuts anyway!) He responded from his home.  AT NIGHT ON A FRIDAY FROM HIS HOME!!!  The only thing I can say is OUTSTANDING!  Please let me know a better word than outstanding.  It’s too weak a word to describe Mr. Hadian. 

Be Encouraged.  There are more people out there like Mr. Hadian running for office.  They are NOT in the best of graces of the RNC (RINO Nimrod Club).  Find them, help them, get their names and faces out there!  And, if you can’t find one, then Help Shahram!  And if you do find one, help them AND Shahram!  Don’t be dissuaded by the name.  I’ve met the man.  He is truly the real deal.

I know this message sounds like a plug, a paid political ad.  I promise you it is NOT!  We must get those RINO snakes out of the grass.  We must help those trying to oust them, in any manner possible; in any city, county, or state.

The time of being disappointed is over.  The time for encouragement, resolve and conviction is now.  Waiting for November is too late.  Help our candidates NOW.  And get registered to vote.  VERIFY THAT YOU REALLY ARE REGISTERED.  I found that my daughters are not properly registered.  They have the time to correct that.  Don’t lose your right to vote out of laziness or complacency.

Howdy all!  Well we all are still reeling from the 2 big stories of the day.  Yes we had no clue this would happen, in fact it seemed like a slam dunk what the outcome of one would be.  But, it is true, Nadal is out of Wimbedon in the second round; GHASTLY!  And Derek Jeter tied Cal Ripken’s all-time hit record.

What you haven’t been watching baseball?  What have you been watching, politics?  Or maybe E! network?

OK, Obamacare.  Yes, it was upheld.  Yes I was stunned and a bit angry.  You too I imagine.  At least we now know.  We know where the court stands.  We know where the President stands.  There is no back door chicanery.  And if you had read or heard anything after the announcement today, there was resolve.  Anger, disgust, but yes resolve.  Everyone on radio, on blogs, on forums, on facebook, twitter are resolved to end the nightmare. 

The question is how?  That is easy.  Vote the jerks out.  I don’t just mean Obama.  Your senators and representatives are up for re-election.  Get your friends, church members, neighbors, co-workers and anyone you meet to register.  Make sure you ARE registered.  And vote the jerks out.  And, let those you vote in know they will be watched more than anyone ever, including Obama.  This is OUR country.  They are OUR employees.  They must be INSTRUCTED, not just asked, to do what we want them to.  WE KNOW WHAT IS BEST FOR US, NOT SOME BIMBO FROM SAN FRANSISCO, or some dork from Nevada, or even some crybaby from Ohio.

Voice your Choice!  Tell them now who will get your vote.  Don’t let them bask in the silence, where they can happily try to convince you they are perfect for the job.  Tell them they aren’t getting your vote until,…  MAKE THEM SQUIRM!  Make them beg.

Is this encouraging?  YES.  Why?  Because I don’t want you to sit on your duffs and whine all day, all summer.  Write letters to the editors.  Blog, tweet, whatever your tools; use them.  Let them all know up front, they got a lot to do to get your vote.  And remind them of what George Mason said.  Nothing so strongly impels a man to regard the interest of his constituents, as the certainty of returning to the general mass of the people, from whence he was taken, where he must participate in their burdens.  In other words, the thought of going back to the general population after losing an election to face the music can make a politician think twice before going against his or her constituents.

This truly is a day the Lord has made. Rejoice and be glad in it.  We have now been given focus, resolve and, if you participate the conviction to do what all three branches of government have not. 

Two hundred and thirty six years ago just yesterday, a guy named Tom finished writing these words:

Be angry; whine out loud; scream out your window; kick holes in the walls.  Then, get your focus and resolve and let’s get to work.  We got a lot to do.

I want to do something a bit different today.  I want to ask your help in sending the message about all the treasonous shenanigans going on.  We all know of many wrongs our federally elected employees and their cronies have done to We the People, yet the lemmings and ostriches among us don’t seem to believe.  ABC, CBS, NBC and all the liberal acronyms on TV are purposely silent, keeping the ignorant ignorant.  Peter Muhlenberg had the guts to speak from his pulpit and speak these words.  And the Black Robe Regiment as they were called gave all they could to the revolution, knowing what was written in Ephesians 2:9.  Their effort was not to get salvation as a reward.  That was for God to decide.  But it was the right thing to do.

I think this is the right thing as well.

This link is to a story about the democrats in Tennessee stating that they can place anyone on the ballot for President, regardless of their qualifications.  They believe they know better than the constitution is someone is eligible.  In my mind, by taking this stance, they are silently admitting that Obama is NOT eligible based on the qualification requirements in the Constitution.  Why else would they go this far to make the point?

This link is to a tape from CSPAN-2.  David Ogden, the deputy Atty Gen, in 2009 (THREE YEARS AGO)  speaks about how the President gave direction to fight the drug cartels through gun ‘tracing’ (operation fast and furious), and he even names the other project involved, operations gunrunner.  Again, this is 2009.  In 2010 and 2011 the DOJ and everyone else said they knew nothing about the gun trafficking gone horribly wrong, leading to the death of agent Terry. 

The lamestream media will not give these 2 accurate stories the time of day.  And our friends and neighbors who have their heads in the sand, or are lined up to drink the koolaid have no clue about these and other stories.  The word must get out.  We must do it.  We must make these stories go as viral as possible.  It’s up to us.  I write this message as close to daily as I possibly can.  I’ve been told that I connect with many of you on a regular basis.  But the problem is, you are all willing readers.  It’s a closed audience.  I will be pasting this on facebook, where those who I know may read and forward.  I ask you to do the same.   Forward this to as many people as you can, the lesser their knowledge and involvement the better.  They are the ones who need a new alarm clock.

Well, it’s simple.  People who get in position of ’authority’ usually mistaken that for power.  And when that happens, the abuse of power begins.  This is one of the main reason the founders included Art IV, Sect 4, first line in the Constitution.  “The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government,..”  What has been going on over the past three years, and even more intensely of late is those who presume a position of power (versus authority) are afraid of losing that power, and are doing everything they can to preserve as much power as possible.  In many countries, the power would not be reversed, and the tyranny would begin.  This country of ours is different.  Thank GOD for that difference.  The Constitution has been dragged through the mud, and lighters have lit its edges.  But it still stands as our primary rule of law document.  We will find out very soon how important and how powerful this document really is.  You see, the power that truly exists in our country does not lie with the President, VP, Senate, Congress or even the Supreme Court.  It lies with you, me, We the People.  So, for those who think they have ‘the power’, it’s time to squirm.  Your imagined power is about to be cut off.  And for the rest of We the People, all we have to do is remember Philippians 4:7, “And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”  Embrace that peace.  Keep a sharp eye out, but embrace the peace that this power grab, too, will pass.

Howdy all!  You know, kids, especially the toddlers are so much fun to play with.  They smile just because you look at them.  They laugh at your jokes, even though you know they don’t understand.  And you can teach them so many things, sometimes in short order!  Like my granddaughter.  Many times she will blankly stare at us when we try to get her to say ‘papa’ or ‘grandma’.  But give her a simple sounding word, like ‘Coco’…  Hey, coco. Hi coco.  Mama coco.  I coco.

Ok Mr. Adams, you’ve been paying attention from your lofty place above.  You’ve noticed what is going on here.  We beg of you to pass on to your fellow founders about this.  Yes, if We the People are bound to obey the laws we don’t approve of, (Obamacare, et al) we become slaves to those who make them.  And I think it is safe to add executive orders in this message as well.  In fact, it’s downright mandatory, since most of the laws we feel enslaved by have come from a usurpation of our legislative capabilities as a nation by a majority slave owner, or the dictator in the White House.  And those dang federally elected employees won’t lift a finger to stop it.  Too busy trying to save their jobs.  Jobs?  Do they really think being elected to office is a job?  Hmm, something we may need to clarify soon.   Also, many Americans are still asleep; all cozy and warm in the fuzzy cozy blanket they receive every night, fresh and smelling so good, courtesy of the mainstream media.  “Life is good, right?  You still have a car, and a home, and a job, right?”  Well, how many Americans cannot answer all three?  How many in this audience would have trouble saying yes?  Up until a couple of months ago I couldn’t.  But the, what are they?  Can’t call them progressives; that seems too meek anymore.  But the leftists would love for us all to wear our best Lemming outfits and eat the soft chewy candies all day long and leave the tedious minutia to them.  So, the tea party folks, the 9/12 groups, and all the conservative entities must stand up and take position, NOW.  I don’t mean man the walls with guns and ammo.  I mean stand and speak up.  Forget speaking to the elected employees; they’re a lost cause.  Talk to your families.  Talk to your friends.  Talk to an Occupier.  Show them what you know.  Don’t waste your breath thinking they will believe you because of what you say.  Show them the facts of which you speak.  The more you say, the more they will question.  That’s ok. In fact that is what you want.  You want them to research and find out what you found out.  It’s the only way they’ll believe.  So, if this is true, what do we do next?  Well, look to Proverbs. Let the wise listen and become even wiser.  Let those with understanding receive guidance.  Why?  Why should we receive the guidance?  Aren’t the lemmings the ones who need the epiphany?  Yes, but they will need leadership, and guidance.  You must receive that guidance from Him, so you can share it with others.  Speaking to, or at our elected employees will no longer be as effective as it was.   The people now need to hear the message first hand.  Take the guidance from Him, and speak of the message Candidus relates.  We are edging closer and closer to a dictatorship.  Once there, our country will not be ours anymore.  You must stand and be a presence.

Howdy all!  And Happy Fahter’s Day!  Ooh, did U spell that wrong?  Must mean I’m not perfect.  But I am a father, a grandfather.  I have to be perfect.  No, I don’t.  But what I am is the best father I could ever hope to be.  I’m not Billy’s Dad who takes the kids camping every summer.  I don’t go fishing like Jimmy’s Dad.  And I haven’t played house is a long time like Mary’s Dad does.  But, I do what I can with my children, like I’ve always done.  How many kids can say their Dad took them for dinner on a nuclear submarine?  Or even for a ride?  OR EVEN UNDER WATER??  IT doesn’t matter really.  What does matter is that Dad’s love their kids.  Country singer George Strait says it best, “See Daddy’s don’t just love their children every now and then,…  It’s a love without end, Amen.”  Thomas, Kathleen and Christine, I love you all very, very much!  Amen.

So many people are worried about what will happen to them, to their bank accounts, their jobs, their families, their country.  Obama’s doing this, the banks are doing that and the Congress is doing us all.  Tea partyers, Occupiers, fat cats, jet owners, Wall Street, AAAHHH!!!  It makes us all sound like Chicken Little.  Don’t get me wrong.  There is a lot of shenanigans going on in DC and in the states.  The tea party and 9/12 groups have been working so hard to get back what is missing in our nation and government.  Repeal the Obamacare, and restore the Constitution.  I am all for that; I’m all in for sure.  And I love the progress made over the last few years, as well as the direction we are going towards.  But there are still the worrisome folks who question why this is happening.  “Why” is the wrong question.  Why no longer matters.  What, When and How are the pertinent questions to ask.  We all know why.  We don’t need validation from the mainstream media anymore.  They are dinosaurs anyway, sticking with the liberals to hold on to any semblance of longevity they may have.  We don’t even need to know who.  It isn’t Willard, or Barry.  It isn’t Harry, Nancy, little Johnboy.  It is We the People.  We are the nation; we are the government.  We sublet the governance to those who have been elected.  And they are messing up badly.  Remember, “All legislative Powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States,..”  The Constitution says it.  We the People grant the legislative powers to the Congress, not the other way around.  So we already know ‘who’; us. 

What?  We will take back our powers through our vote, our voice and our spirit. 

When?  Well, actually we have been working on this for a number of years. Long before the tea party, long before Barry, G-dub, Slick Willy, and the lot.  We have watched this go poorly for a long time.  It’s only been the last few years that we finally got organized, somewhat.  And now we will go forward with the true recovery starting in November and in earnest with the pacific change of command in January.

 How?  We will be watching closely.  Romney should understand that We the People will be watching him and his cabinet MUCH closer than we watched Barry; much, much closer.  Anyone who thinks that we will sit back on the sofa and turn the TV back on or go back to sleep is got some serious problems, and is in need of therapy.  When we say not violent but not silent anymore, we mean EVER.

And all along the way, we will not be worrying anymore.  We will be praying for our nation, and for our federally elected employees to follow the directions of their bosses; yes – We the People.  We have told Him of our needs and support, and thank Him every day for holding us together through all of this.

Thomas said here that if we can prevent the government from wasting our tax money and robbing us blind in order to pay for their whimsical wasteful ways under the guise of ‘helping us’, they must become happy.  They?  Who is ‘They’?  I submit that ‘They’ is us, them, all of We the People.  We will all be able to once again enjoy a small portion of the inalienable rights of life, liberty and pursuit of happiness granted us by God, and protected by the sacred honor of our founders.

Howdy all!  And Happy Flag Day!  I hope you fly your colors with great pride today.  Whether on the front porch, the flag pole in your yard, those flags that hang onto your car window, or just the one glued to your back windshield.  Betsy Ross did a great job with ‘Ole Glory’, and our military has done a great job flying and protecting Betsy’s work of art.  So today is our turn to show respect and pride in the red white and blue.

But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint. ~ Isaiah 40:31

There is not a more important and fundamental principle in legislation, than that the ways and means ought always to face the public engagements; that our appropriations should ever go hand in hand with our promises. To say that the United States should be answerable for twenty-five millions of dollars without knowing whether the ways and means can be provided, and without knowing whether those who are to succeed us will think with us on the subject, would be rash and unjustifiable. ~ James Madison, Speech in Congress, 1790

Knowing what James said in this quote, can you imagine his reaction when he would find out about our national debt?  Even worse would be his reaction when he would hear the democratic senators say we will NOT be approving a budget until after the election; nearly 4 YEARS from the last approved budget!!  Rash and unjustifiable would be the last words out of his mouth!  Makes you wonder what the founders would say about the tea party movement of today.  I think they would jump into the leadership, telling us all how to be successful.  And why not, they wrote the book on this stuff!  (Actually just a couple of powerful documents, but they count as treble value!)  So yes, we must keep our efforts going.  And if you want to know how long, all I can say is look at your longevity lines on your palm and then double that!

Let’s face it.  We all are following the words, thoughts, dreams, aspirations the founders had for this great nation.  Rush said that at this point in the election cycle, more people nationally are better informed, and more in tune with what is going on in Washington than ever before.  We research; we read; we develop opinions, and we act.  Even Joan Rivers got into it, saying the President should get back to DC and do his G/D duty.  Our effort has met much criticism and resistance.  We must not let that slow us down.  Our nation, our children and grandchildren depend on us to protect what they will inherit.  And trust in the Lord to find new strength.  When you do, you will soar high on wings like eagles!

Howdy all!  Do you sense an air of anticipation?  Do you feel that the winds of change will be turning?  I sure do.  It’s like there is a big event about to occur; something is about to happen that will change everything.  Wait, I think I see it happening now.  It’s,.. yes it’s,..  it’s, it’s,…..YES!!  The ICE CREAM TRUCK IS HERE!!!!!!  Woo Hoo!!!!

Well, it’s true; the day jobs are noble and honorable when we treat them as honorable professions.  Sometimes they aren’t enough to get by, so we take on further burden.  But they are noble professions.  Many of us have a second career, or our spouses have that.  That’s just as honorable.  Now, sometimes these second careers are involved with politics.  Is that honorable?  Hmm, that’s a tough question.  But I can tell you of one individual who I find extremely honorable.  He is our representative who goes to Olympia WA to do great things.  His name is Brad Klippert.  I’ll never forget how he makes his entrance when announced at meetings, rallies, even the county convention.  Picture this; bunch of old frumpy looking RINO’s at the stage, giving eh same old blah blah blah.  The candidates and other party speakers get up and use the Ben Stein ‘Buehler’ monotone in their voice for what seems hours.  Then, “Ladies and Gentlemen, Brad Klippert”.  You see this guy run to the stage from the back of the convention hall, run up the stairs, get to the microphone and bellow out the loudest ‘HOORAH!’ and ‘HOW YA DOIN?’  you’ve ever heard.  Then you see the crust and dust fall off the shoulders of the crusty ones ‘managing’ the proceedings.  Brad is a super energetic person, and a great guy with a great family.  Let’s see, he is a sheriff deputy-DARE officer at our town school, preacher, small business man, counselor, and when called he is in the National Guard where he flies Chinook Helicopters.  And he is a tea party member, let alone supporter.  This guy fits the bill with today’s quotes.  He is very strong, very courageous; not afraid at all; does not panic.  And Brad knows that He is there by his side all the way.  That serene smile that is plastered on his face lets us know that He is with him.

I tell you this because, even with all the hype about Obamacare, and the efforts the left may go to just to win, it is possible to share the enthusiasm instead of misery and anxiety with others. It is possible to shine your courage as a beacon at full power.  It is possible to do all we think we can do, and still find the immense ability to do even more; all the while, doing an honest day’s work.

So try it; you’ll like it!

Howdy all!  And thank you Richard!  I’ve mentioned recently about inspiration and encouragement.  I hope you recognize your inspiration.  There are so many good signs of what will transpire over the next months until November.  But there are still possible hurdles; some may seem insurmountable.  They are not.  There are still burdens to carry.  They are not heavy.  Inspiration is the track athlete that helped another cross the finish line.  Encouragement is cheering the last contestant in the marathon, 12 hours after the starter’s gun went off.  Now, we have lots to do.  Remember your inspiration.  Use it.  And share it.

Why is it that the French did not succeed politically after the French Revolution, even though they supported our success, and had the experiences we went through to guide them?  Jefferson knew.  Why does our government have so much trouble getting a handle on our economy?  Jefferson knew, over 200 years ago he knew!  Why do we as tea party, 9/12 and other conservative and constitutional groups push so hard to take our government back, and restore what was meant to be?  Just as Jefferson did, we know.  We know that the Constitution was not supposed to give Congress power to do what they wanted.  We know the Constitution was not meant to be a living document.  We know, because we read, researched, and gained the understanding of Jefferson and the other founders.  We the People own the country.  We the People own the government.  We the People grant powers to the federally elected employees, not the other way around.  We know that we have the power, not them.  What we don’t know is why we put up with the tyranny from our government.  Think about this; only a few months ago, the momentum was not with the GOP, or the tea party, at least not in the view of the media.  Obama and the left had all the momentum, regardless of what was true.  The republicans appeared weak.  In fact, they were weak.  So, what changed?  Was it the Wisconsin recall election?  No. was it the GOP primary process?  Heck no!  That was almost a complete farce.  So, what changed?  Actually, nothing changed.  The change in the wind is not because of change at all.  No, the ‘change’ is really the realization of the true conservative movement that has been going strong over the past 6 years.  Six?  Obama hasn’t been the POTUS for 6 years?  No, but the drive for conservative ideals has really become a tangible effort since about 2006, when the 2 houses of Congress went left.  It wasn’t organized, but there were plenty of individuals who knew this was wrong and had to be corrected.  The tea party-9/12 movement has come out of the darkness, out from its silence and become a force to contend with.  All the ‘old guard’ from both major political parties have to recognize the strength of the conservative movement.  They won’t, until it is too late for them politically.  And they will be dismissed from service with no pomp or circumstance.  Why?  Jefferson knew, and we know as well.  This government belongs to We the People.  We the People grant the power to the Congress.  It is high time they learn that constitutional fact; or be dismissed.

Howdy all!  So, the tea party is weak.  The tea party movement has come to a halt.  OK.  They can argue that to the ‘n’th degree.  All we have to say is Scott Walker; and nothing else.

Yesterday’s vote in Wisconsin tells the tale of the tea party, the 9/12 project, countless other organizations, and just plain Americans who are sick of the direction our federally elected employees have taken us.  This does emulate what Jefferson said.  This was the object of the Declaration of Independence.  Enough of the monarchy rule.  Enough of the tyranny.  ENOUGH ALREADY!  Last night, the call for independence from tyranny recommenced.  The tea party is NOT weak.  The tea party is NOT insignificant.  No, the tea party is alive in every American, all of us.  We do not get up on pulpits and podiums and scream obscenities at our opponents.  We do not disrespect the places where we gather to talk, listen and organize.  We are respectable, humble people.  We do our work to save our country in the most respectable way.  We are not racists.  Yes, there are racists among us.  Yes there are racists among the left.  Yes there are racists and perverts in the White House!  YES there are human beings all over the place.  It’s about time we all acknowledge that no one is “perfekt”.  I know I am not by a long shot.  But I am humble, and I do see God at work.  I asked you all what encourages you, what inspires you.  Like the reply from Sandy, we get encouragement from Him, our Creator.

Let last night’s victory be encouragement to us all that the tea party and the conservative movement is alive and well and coming to an election near you.

Howdy all!  Well, I offered a chance to share some of your inspiration with us.  The replies were few, very few.  Folks, I love doing this.  I will continue to do this.  I was very apprehensive at first, thinking no one would read.  Boy was I wrong.  But that also made me think; do you know what truly inspires you?  I hope it isn’t just this daily (mostly) pile of words.  If you do have an inspiration in your life, please share.  Any time you wish.  Your inspiration may actually inspire others.  We all need that kind of camaraderie now and then.

Wow, I don’t really have to go far for this encouragement.  It’s our kids.  We are the inspiration for our children and grandchildren.  They may not understand what we are doing, but when they figure it out, they will be truly grateful, and inspired to continue to protect this great nation.  We have to believe this as fact.  We will not be on earth forever.  They will have to fly our flag when we fall.  We may be humble and not comfortable sharing our inspiration with others, and that’s fine.  But we must share our lives, our sacred honor with our children.  They will be the ones to preserve this nation.  God works through us every day.  Even the little things are His work.  Do not shy away from this burden.  Doing so will be more devastating to our nation’s future than anything the progressives could ever think up.

Howdy all!  Today, I want to ask for some encouragement from you.  Plain and simple.  Over the past 2 years or so, I have sent out messages from my heart and sense of humor.  But when I go to some of the sites I send it to, I still hear the same old 'I don't like this and I am afraid of this continuing,' and 'I can't take it', or something depressing said out of anxiety.  I wonder, what does encourage you all?

So, if you are daring enough, please write back to this entry about what encourages you.  POSITIVE encouragement.  Is it your kids, work, God, spouse, or..  ?

For me, it's my wife, Terri.  We celebrated our 26th anniversary last month.  Some folks didn't think we'd last 26 days.  She was always there for me when I went to sea with the Navy, and there when I returned.  We have 3 great kids, although they don't always feel the same way in return.  Now, she suffers with MS.  And her frustration and fear over the potential outcome is minimized by her tenacity.  And I'll admit, sometimes she can be worse than a lioness protecting her cubs.  But she has a heart of gold, and would help anyone who needed it.  I cannot think of anyone else I would rather spend the rest of my life with other than her.  That 'through sickness and health' thing really comes into play with us.  I am looking forward to our next 26 years.  She is my inspiration and encouragement.

Howdy all!  Weekend Weekend!  I hope you all have a great weekend!  Just don’t drink soda in NYC.  You could get a ticket.  Hey, why not start an OCCUPY SODA SHOPPE movement?  We can all go down to Gracie Mansion and bring our illegal cups in from outside city limits.  We could even bus a few in from Wisconsin!  Then we could all drink soda at Gracie Mansion and sit on the fences.  Ooh, I KNOW!  We could all pour our soda on the lawn!  We could even have our own theme song!  You know the one from Toby Keith, “Red Solo Cup”!

So, people like Michael Bloomberg feel they have the permission to tell me and you what we can or can’t do.  Come on, nothing greater than 16 ounces?  Why?  The regulation won’t stop you from having two cups.  How stupid is this?  I thought this guy is a brilliant businessman, a billionaire?  Does that give him the ability to control us?  Maybe he can pay his fair share first.  I mean, he makes enough already; give it to someone else.  Come on, Mikey; bring your net worth down to 300,000 dollars, and give the rest to the government.  No guts no glory Mikey!

People like Bloomberg need to be removed from office; people like Pelosi, Obama, Gov. Moonshot from California.  How?  Vote!  But is your vote a waste of ink, waste of chads, of time?  Not on your life!  Sam Adams got it right saying that voting was the most solemn trusts in human society for which he is accountable to God and country.  And one vote does count.   Remember the little town that elected an 18 year old the new mayor by one vote?  It is times like these that show us (as if we needed to be shown) that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love Him, and are called according to his purpose for them.  We are called.  Not through any religious sect or order.  We are called by God.  We need to do the work He has set for us.  We must save the republic.  It is worth it.  And God will cause us all to work together, as we do now, and as we will soon.  Don’t err on your most solemn of trusts.  We can remove these Bloombergs when work together, (although getting arrested with a big gulp singing red solo cup sounds like fun!)

Howdy all!  Well, we are at the end of the fifth month of 2012.  Now, I bet there are some out there who thought we’d never get to this point in time.  Am I right?  Come on, you know what I mean.  It can all be summed up in a song from my past, maybe yours.  Alice Cooper – School’s Out!

The school year is close to being over.  Summer plans are being finalized.  Heck we finally got a GOP candidate (not as if he’s the one we all wanted, but…).  So, what is missing?  There doesn’t seem to be the excitement of summer blooming around the country.  Why?  I’ll take a guess.  Does anyone feel comfortable with the remainder of the year?  It’s easy to say we have only 7 months left till 2013.  But some say there is only 6 months till Armageddon.  And others say there isn’t even that much time, until the most critical election of our nation’s history, let alone our lives.  So, maybe there is a little apprehension to let the year complete.  But, complete it will.  We cannot stop it.  You might be able to pull the batteries from the wall clock, but time continues to pass. 

So, what to do?  Proverbs has the answer; trust in the Lord with all your heart.  Do not depend on your own understanding.  I truly believe what is happening in our country is happening for a reason.  I believe that what is happening in Europe is happening before it hits the USA for a reason.  It’s to give us a sign of what will be if we let it.  So many of us here at this site, and at other sites have given so much time and effort, and treasure.  And they ask ‘for what?’  I can only answer with this verse from Proverbs.  And, to speak of the quote from Zacharia Johnson, this isn’t a warning to keep your arms at the ready.  No.  Instead, this is a message in support of our Constitution; specifically the second amendment.  But I see it as support for the Constitution in general.  We are to be left with the Constitution, full possession of it.  It says that We the People grant the power to govern to the Congress, not the other way.  It is We the People who define the roles and requirements for the branches of government.  For so long, We the People have been sitting on our laurels, eating bon bons and believing everything we saw on tv, heard on radio and read in the paper.  Well, this is the year that all changes, finally.  And We the People have help.  There are many from around America, and from around the world who are rooting for us to be successful.  Some are joining. 

So, be prepared.  Have all the necessities you need; emotionally, financially and every other way necessary.  But, We the People are going to be successful.  We will have all the help we need and then some.  Don’t squander it, or cast it aside.  And be ready for the rest of the year.  It will be so exciting; the bon bons will go bad long before you sit back down.

Howdy all!  Well, the long weekend is over, and we head back to work again.  Terri and I had some good fun this weekend, until we did what many Americans do on long weekends; we bought something.  Our something is a zero turn mower.  They look so cool, and can turn on a dime.  Unfortunately as we found out, they can also turn on a garden hose, and an irrigation valve.  Glad they don’t require a license.  They don’t, do they?

There have been so many thanks to our service men and women this weekend, as there should be every day.  But as I read the selections for today, I realized that there is always a chance to say thanks.  There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for another.  So we need to realize that the consciousness of having discharged that duty is superior to all other considerations.  So, I want to take this time to thank everyone who has served our great country, offering themselves for our protection.  And I say one more prayer for those whose offer was discharged.  People like those at MSNBC who feel uncomfortable calling our troops heroes should try to spend one day in their place on the front line, in the air over the attack zone, or even under the sea in harm’s way.  If they had to live like our troops do every day, their tune may be a bit different.  I’ve been under the sea.  I have relatives who have been on the line, and in the air.  I know what courage it takes to stand, and not run.  Let them spend a day alongside our bravest.  See who runs first.

I salute our finest, I pray for those in harm’s way, and I can never thank enough those who paid the ultimate sacrifice for me.

Howdy all!  I had some time to kill early yesterday, so I got on the book of face and played me some good ole Texas Holdem.  A fellow got on there with an icon of 2 guys dressed in full military gear facing each other in what looked like a helicopter. He said he was one of the guys.  So I thanked him for his service and the honor to play him.  The rest of the table followed suit.  It was cool.  And just before writing, I heard the sounds of spring peril on my back porch: a baby owl that fell to the ground from its nest.  You know, they aren’t small even as babies!  Got some pics; maybe I’ll post them if I figure out this dag-bern contraption!

Today, We The People celebrate the memory of heroes to us all; those who fell bravely, and those who serve ready to fall if necessary.  They do this out of love of country, duty, honor, respect, and responsibility.  True, America claims the beginning of the summer season today, and vendors across the nation have big sales on everything.  But, as we watch the parades in air conditioned homes, or barbeque on our porch by the pool, brave men and women eat food prepackaged years ago.  They get comfort in a hole they have to dig themselves.  They lay down to sleep on rocky ground, with their rifles and sidearms ready to use.  Jefferson said the price of freedom is eternal vigilance.  But we are not all being vigilant.  They are.  They are vigilant for us, for our safety, for our protection, for our republic.  And don’t think for one minute that they don’t miss the soft pillows, or warm burgers, or fresh watermelon and ice cream.  Yet, we will not hear their complaints.  They won’t let us hear them.  That is part of their price for freedom.  So We the People do offer up in prayer the verse from Isaiah 33:2.  Be merciful to our heroes Lord.  Be their strong arm each day and their salvation in times of trouble. 

They offer their lives for us.  The least we can do is offer our prayers for them.  Maybe a card game or two as well.

Howdy all!  How’s your weekend going?  So far, I’m digging up pipes, and burying more.  I’m glad my parents got us jigsaw puzzles as a kid.  It has helped me deal with the frustration of connecting irrigation pipes over 10 acres.  (Oh no!  Wrong size!  And I just glued it!!  AARRGGHH!!!)

Gee, the quote from Madison reminds me of things I hear nowadays!  The impetuous vortex known as Congress is sucking the life out of Americans, just to ‘give’ us what we need.  And that was what Madison was saying!  Imagine what he’d say now.  Thankfully, there are people today who are as dedicated to the constitution as James was.  They aren’t necessarily in one political party or another.  That doesn’t matter.  What does matter is the strength of character that fills each and every one of these patriots.  These patriots are,.. well, you!  You are the great patriots of our time.  It doesn’t matter how much effort you give.  Of course giving more is better.  But what you can give is perfect enough!  Just as in 2010, the naysayers claim the tea party and all the other conservative groups are fizzling out, losing momentum and interest.  Well, if that is what they think, I might remind them of a line from a song by Judas Priest; “YOU GOT ANOTHER THING COMING”.  Just ask Richard Lugar.  Look at the race in Wisconsin.  Senator Feinstein has a fight this year.  Even the wicked witch of the West, Aunt Nancy has a challenge.  And wouldn’t it be fitting to see the DNC Chairhyphen be called former congresswoman?  The tea party is strong, and very much alive.  I would say the OWS crowd has at least been able to get an acronym, but it has withered.  This reminds me of the true quote by Mark Twain, “The report of my illness grew out of his illness (a Clemens cousin in England), thus the report of my death was an exaggeration.”  This is the real quote from Twain, and it fits like a glove.  The OWS movement is so messed up, but the tea party is very strong.  OWS has been more or less a failure.  So it has been easy to exaggerate that we are no longer effective.  Again, I say Richard Lugar.  Now this doesn’t mean we will live forever; by no means at all.  We must continue, press on.  And step up to the plate.  We can’t just talk to each other all the time.  We must spread the news about our country’s condition since the lamestream media won’t.  We must pray all the time to our Creator for help and guidance.  We must get involved.  That’s why I applied for precinct committee officer for my precinct.  And since I had no opponent sign up in time, I win!  Got my certificate from the county Friday.  (Woo Hoo!  Tommy Kiley is a political hack!)  And from what I could see, many of the precincts that had gone pco-less for so long are no longer going without.

We are alive.  We are still here.  And if they think we are going to fall off the radar, they got another thing coming!
