Howdy all!  Well I have been AWOL for a while.  Actually I have been fighting a nasty cold.  You know when you have this cough and you can’t clear the throat, but when you try your nose gets all runny, then your eyes water up and you can’t see 2 inches in front of you?  And then you got to get up and go to work anyway?  Yeah, I love it too!

Any hoo,..

I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them. ~ 1 Timothy 2:1

I am not influenced by the expectation of promotion or pecuniary reward. I wish to be useful, and every kind of service necessary for the public good, become honorable by being necessary. ~ Nathan Hale, remark to Captain William Hull, who had attempted to dissuade him from volunteering for a spy mission for General Washington, 1776

Nathan Hale did not last in the revolutionary war too long.  But the time he spent has been remembered for all time.  The Declaration of Independence was signed on July 4, 1776.  Nathan died September 22, 1776.  He died at the ripe old age of 21 (born June 6, 1755.)  Yet read his words.  “I wish to be useful, and every kind of service necessary for the public good, become honorable by being necessary.”  How many young people do you know that would be this willing to serve?  Fortunately, we all know people like Nathan.  They are our sons and daughters; brothers and sisters; Dads and Moms; wives and husbands.  They wear the uniform and carry the flag of our military forces.  I did, my son did, my Dad, grandfather, uncles, great uncles.  Members of my family have worn the uniform in the 1860’s, WWI, WWII, Korea, Cold War, and Afghanistan.  I bet you also have relatives who served with honor.  These patriots we all know wished to be useful.  They did so not for the accolades, or awards.  They did so for the public good.  They knew it was necessary to serve the public, which showed the honor and courage they all had deep inside themselves.

This weekend we celebrate the men and women who found it necessary to serve the public good.  Sure, there will be barbeques, war movies, swimming, travel, ice cream, and flags.  But, the true reason we celebrate is for those who served, those who sacrificed, those who did not return.  For them, I urge you first of all to pray for them all.  Ask God to help those in uniform, to intercede on their behalf.  And give thanks for the honor, bravery and sacrifice they make, just to be useful.

Take care, God bless,

AND STAND WITH ISRAEL!!!

Howdy all!  Well, we had a fun weekend at the compound.  Took an impromptu trip to see some water falls.  Very cool indeed.  When you see what beauty comes from violent erosion like a water fall, you can then understand the phrase “God works in mysterious ways.”

Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere. ~ Ephesians 6:18

There is no maxim, in my opinion, which is more liable to be misapplied, and which, therefore, more needs elucidation, than the current, that the interest of the majority is the political standard of right and wrong." --James Madison, letter to James Monroe, 1786

Article IV, Section 4.  In my opinion, (minor as it may be), the best line in the entire Constitution.  “The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government,..”  We are guaranteed a republic, not a democracy.  Sure, we have all heard the word democracy used to explain our nation, but it isn’t a democracy.  It can’t be.  Art IV Set 4 has the only guarantee in the entire Constitution.  Madison’s discussion here can help explain the founders thinking on this.  Simply put, a majority on one side or another does not mean their interests are the right one.  Maybe this should be part of a required seminar for all legislators and the executive branch on a regular rotation, like once a month!

So, what should we do?  Ephesians 6:18 has a hint.  Pray for all on every occasion.  And “Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.”  Stay alert and be persistent.  Keep our federally elected employees in your prayers, all of them; they need it.  But don’t let that be your only effort to correct their misguided ways.  Be persistent in your dealings with them; call, write, visit.  Tell them where they are wrong or right.  Don’t let them think they are in control.  If they do, then offer a copy of the Constitution’s Article I Section 1; “All legislative Powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress’..”  And that does say we the people shall grant powers to the congress.  NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND!

I love the Constitution.  It has so many cool ways to smack down the Government, don’t you think?

Take care, God bless,

AND STAND WITH ISRAEL!!!

Howdy all!  I spent the past evening reminiscing with my wife.  Today we are celebrating our 26th anniversary, and we were reminding each other how lucky we have been over these years.  Lucky that the shotgun was out of shells; lucky that the knife was too dull; lucky that the GFCI worked; lucky that all those pills were just placebos; lucky that the car ran out of gas first.  Golly, we were sure lucky over these past 26 years.  I love you very much Terri.  And to celebrate, we will get some fast food and take a drive to the Columbia River.  I know a bluff that overlooks the deep area by the gorge in The Dalles, Oregon.  This should be fun, right?

As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend. ~ Proverbs 27:17

Sometimes it is said that man cannot be trusted with government of himself. Can he, then, be trusted with the government of others? Or have we found angels in the forms of kings to govern him? Let history answer this question." --Thomas Jefferson, First Inaugural Address, 1801

This guy Jefferson was a real cool dude.  In his first inaugural address, he boldly requests Americans to criticize himself.  He doesn’t stand there and be magnanimous, demanding everything up to and including homage to the great and powerful Wizard of US.  No, instead he offers the opportunity and responsibility to all citizens to judge his performance.  He recognizes that he has been given great and humbling responsibilities, and is strong enough to accept his role as servant of the nation; strong enough to not only accept criticism, but virtually demand it as well.  Of course he has many friends in his world that will be more than ready to criticize him, and did.  He didn’t shrug it off; instead he accepted and incorporated what was needed.  He must have known, as written in Psalms, that friends can sharpen friends.  Overall, Jefferson was ready to lead our country, and let history tell whether the self-rule concept would work.  I for one am certain that it did work.  We are still a self-rule republic.  Yes we have issues; yes there are crises, yes there are crimes and misdemeanors being committed and left unchallenged (with the exception of our challenges).  And history will tell how successful we are.  But is that enough?  Do we talk the talk, and wait for the historians to tell the story of our success?  Or do we get more involved?  Another thing I did yesterday was apply as a candidate for PCO in my precinct.  Through these past couple of years I have been talking the talk.  Now I want to walk the walk.  It’s not a grandiose position, but there is the chance to shape and mold the local party to what it needs to be; and unfortunately it’s not there right now.  There are no angels to govern us.  God has given us free will to cherish the gifts He has given us.  But it is our responsibility to maintain them.  So it is my turn, even in this little way.  Now, just imagine how much change we could affect, if we all said “it’s my turn, even in this little way.”  If you have the opportunity to be a PCO, do so.  Walk the walk.  It’s time.

Take care, God bless,

Howdy all!  Whew it’s getting hot in SE Washington State.  At the time of this writing (11 pm PDT), it has cooled down to 64 degrees.  While working on my tractor I received a good sunburn through a small hole in my working jeans.  It looked real funny when I put my shorts on for dinner.  I can’t wait until that small patch turns into a very large freckle.

And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful. ~ Colossians 3:15

But the origin of the American republic is distinguished by peculiar circumstances.  Other nations have been driven together by fear and necessity – their governments have generally been the result of a single man’s observations; or the offspring of particular interests.  In the foundation of our constitution, the wisdom of all ages is collected – the legislators of antiquity are consulted – as well as the opinions and interests of the millions, who are concerned.  In short, it is an empire of reason. ~ An Examination into the Leading Principles of the Federal Constitution, “A Citizen of America” (Noah Webster), October 17, 1787

As members of one body we are called to live in peace.  These words found in Colossians have so much meaning.  In the community, in our churches, on earth we are called to live in peace.  But how do we as flawed humans do this?  Well first we accept ourselves as flawed, and then accept that we need rules to follow.  These rules would guide us to live the life we are expected to.  Making those rules has proven difficult at best across the span of human existence.  In fact, I may be wrong, but I know of only two instances where the rules were successful.  The first was a set of commandments set to stone, and carried back to the flock by Moses.  The other was back in the late 18th century when a group of people put together a list of rules to guide a fledgling nation determined to survive for the people, not for themselves.  “An empire of reason” Webster called it.  After all, it was not a nation ruled by elites or nobles.  Nobles in fact were not allowed.  Even the leadership of the French Revolution, who wanted to emulate the American format, after winning their revolution found themselves greedy and hungry for the power.  But this city on the hill survived as originally designed.  It survives today.  And I believe strongly that it will survive through this election, and the next, and the next.  Why, you old gray haired loon, do you think it will survive?  The answer is in your home.  It is in your mirror.  Look into it.  See a ray of light emanating from the shining city on the hill.  ‘In the foundation of our constitution, the wisdom of all ages is collected – the legislators of antiquity are consulted – as well as the opinions and interests of the millions, who are concerned.’  Millions and millions of rays; people who are concerned asking questions, demanding answers, and getting involved, because they are concerned.

These days are hard to accept; socialism and communism in the White House and probably both houses of Congress.  Americans still thinking their nation is doing just fine; we don’t need to be wary.  Ostriches with their heads in the sand wishing all the political noise would just go away.  But you rays of light shining across the nation are giving the point of reference needed for the rest of us to recognize, and follow.  Never surrender, don’t be violent, and don’t ever be silent ever again.

AND STAND WITH ISRAEL!!!

Howdy all!  Well, it’s the end of the week, and the weekend is upon us.  It’s time for relaxing with family, friends and patriots right?  NO!!!  Wait till I tell you what I was told today.

So let’s get to it,..

For you have been called to live in freedom, my brothers and sisters. But don't use your freedom to satisfy your sinful nature. Instead, use your freedom to serve one another in love.  ~ Galatians 5:13

Human felicity is produced not so much by great pieces of good fortune that seldom happen, as by little advantages that occur every day. ~ Benjamin Franklin, Autobiography, 1771

Don’t use the freedom to satisfy your sinful nature.  Instead use it to serve others in love.  These are fantastic words.  But how hard is it to live them?  To some it’s apparently very hard.  In fact it appears that it’s easier to be sinful than not.  And you may ask, “How could this be, old gray haired loon?”  Well, let me tell you!!

I’m sure you have all heard or maybe even seen the cover of Time magazine that has caused so much of a ruckus. If not, it’s a story about attachment parenting.  But the cover has a picture of a 26 year old woman, with a reported 3 year old son involved in breastfeeding.  In fact, it’s plain to see that he is making anatomically correct contact.  And there’s no towel over the act for decency.  Well, I was told by a very reliable source that out local school has a teacher that thought it would be a good topic of discussion to ask the students about it.  W-w-w-whatt??  Now you’d think that maybe in a current events class, or something similar there may have some value to discussion.  But, a science class?  And the planned curriculum did not even have any related scope to anything remotely linked to the cover picture.  No, the teacher made it simple, “Did anyone see the latest cover story in Time Magazine?”  Then the teacher showed the picture to the class of juniors in high school.  And this was basically the end of the discussion on the cover.  Then the class went into its planned topics.  What in the world is this teacher thinking???  I saw the picture, and immediately thought it not only vulgar, but pornographic and depicting child abuse, pedophilia and molestation.  I mean, people have gone to jail and have been labeled ‘Child Molester’ for similar activities.  Now for a teacher to show this picture to a class of minority aged students, children that he has the responsibility to teach and mentor, does not meet the criteria set forth in Galatians 5:13 for sure.  I would venture to say it doesn’t meet the criteria set forth in the Revised Code of Washington State either.

So, what to do?  We all have our calling to do what is best for our families, community and nation.  This falls into all of them.  I know the parent of the child who presented this information is going to the school district superintendent to not only complain, but to demand the teacher apologize to all the children in all the classes affected as well as their parents.  Also, the parent will ask for some punishment up to and including termination.  I mentioned to the parent also that if this is criminal, then the sheriff’s office should be contacted.  I also mentioned that if the superintendent balks or shows no desire to deal with this, the media may want to know.  And there are some respectable media outlets near Benton City that may want to ask their own questions.  Oops, did I say Benton City?  I wasn’t going to say Benton City, in Washington State.  Oh well, cat’s out of the bag now!  At least I didn’t say the school district is the Kiona-Benton School District.  Oops again, silly me.

For me, I will be backing up the parent as desired and necessary.  After all, human felicity is produced not so much by great pieces of good fortune that seldom happen, as by little advantages that occur every day.  And this would be the least I could do.

Someone has to take a stand for these kids across the country that are being led like sheep into the world of Agenda 21, socialism, and downright laziness, lack of initiative and self responsibility.

Take care, God bless,

AND STAND WITH ISRAEL!!!

Howdy all!  Hey, did you hear?  POTUS has changed his mind.  He now approves of gay marriage.  And did you hear?  Russian President Putin, a very macho kind of guy, told Obama by phone even that he's postponing their much-anticipated meeting and will not be attending the G-8 summit at Camp David.  I wonder if there’s a correlation?  I can just hear the conversation now: “Meesterrr Ppprrrezidend, I heer yoo haf desited dat zeh mattaje of tooo man or too woman izz, er, OK.  Vell, eet just so happanz dat I am  soddy to say I must be at Russia for noo cabinet for noo ppprrrezidend, dat iss mee!  Zo, I vill not go to the davit camp for meeting.  So, soddy.  Pleeez, gif yoor vif a hug, and tell de othas goot luck.”

Any hoo,

And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. ~ Romans 8:28

In a general sense, all contributions imposed by the government upon individuals for the service of the state, are called taxes, by whatever name they may be known, whether by the name of tribute, tythe, tallage, impost, duty, gabel, custom, subsidy, aid, supply, excise, or other name. ~ Joseph Story, Commentaries on the Constitution, 1833

Hmm, Mr. Story would have loved to sit in for the Obamacare arguments at the Supreme Court.  He understands that money extracted by the government from the people is a tax, no matter what you call it, even a fine or fee.  Maybe the Solicitor General should read some on the founders for his own guidance.

This just shows how single-minded our federally elected employees really are and I mean all of them, not just the donkeys.  SG couldn’t even tell the difference between a fee and a tax, when discussing the fine levied against people who don’t get health insurance under the Obamacare mandate.  And POTUS.  ‘He’ has decided that ‘his’ opinion is that gay marriage is ok.  Even though ‘his’ opinion shouldn’t mean that every American believes the same way, ‘his’ opinion instead tells the world that ‘We’ all agree.  How disgusting.  Not the fact that some people want to livestyle of their choice, but giving the impression to the world that we all approve of that lifestyle is disgusting, and feel my right to choose has been taken from me.  I don’t approve of that lifestyle; my choice.  Do I know people who would choose that lifestyle, yes.  Do I think any better or worse because of their choice?  Absolutely not.  But I will not accept anyone speaking for me to anyone, let alone the entire world, about this, or any other issue; unless I give them my opinion and they speak it as I’ve told them.  I would expect that we all feel the same way; that those who represent us speak our words; not speak their words and expect US to agree with them!  We hired them to be our voices in government.  They did not hire us as their constituents.  (I sure ain’t getting paid by them.)

So, what to do?  Well, we do know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love Him and are called to his purpose for them.  It says so right there in Romans 8:28.  We all have a purpose in our lives.  Certainly we are to live the best lives we can, to help our children grow and succeed, and to love help each other as He would have us do.  Does this apply to the tea party, the 9/12 movement, the effort to restore the constitution and our economy?  YOOOO BETCHA!!

This great land is still the city on the hill.  It still shines brightly for all to see.  It is our responsibility to keep it shining for our children, their children and their grandchildren’s grandchildren and so on.  If I may so bold as to interpret, God expects us to keep the city shining brightly.  He is guiding us right now; as I type, as you read, and as you share your efforts with others.  He is helping us to work together in unison with other groups.  We are not all collaborating for sure.  But the efforts of all the tea party and 9/12 groups are focused together in parallel with the same goals.  This is how we have been called to his purpose.  As Glenn Beck said at the Lincoln Memorial, this is our stick to lead.  This is our burden to carry.  It is our purpose.  I believe this with all my heart.  I recognized it the moment Beck mentioned it. This daily (mostly) shtuff I do is my stick, my purpose.  Sure, I make dinner and take out the trash on Tuesdays, but this is my stick.  What is your stick?  See how it fits with the sticks of others?  They do fit well together you know.  Like a puzzle.

Howdy all!  Well, Monday was a typical Monday.  Got up, went to work, and got the folks some donuts to start the week off good.  Then the boss comes in and says it would be good for me to go meet the management team; in Sweden.  Does anyone have any salve for my jaw?

How do you say any hoo in Swedish,..

Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good!  His faithful love endures forever.  ~ Psalm 106:1

Government, in my humble opinion, should be formed to secure and to enlarge the exercise of the natural rights of its members; and every government, which has not this in view, as its principal object, is not a government of the legitimate kind. ~ James Wilson, Lectures on Law, 1791

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D9vQt6IXXaM&hd

I added this link provided to me by my friend and fellow patriot Martha.  You should watch it.  It’s amazing to see that America is truly starting to awaken to the lies, the deception and the collaboration against conservatives.  Heck, even Newsweek has an article coming soon about the deception of the DOJ and how they treat high financial white collar crime.  Newsweek?  After Holder?  Cool!

Now to see the Catholic Church tell the parishioners to fight back with the vote encourages me to no end.  Economy, freedom, marriage, it’s almost like a tea party meeting.  But it’s not.  In fact, I don’t believe the Catholic Church is trying to align with the tea party at all.  No, I see them doing exactly what all religions should do; tell their flock of the dangers they face, and urge them to do what they can to stop it.  What a great message.  If I see similar messages from other religions I would love to share them with you also.

Bottom line, we are all in this together.  It’s time we start acting on parallel planes.  We do not have to join together to act in similar fashion.  But we must act.  The Lord is good, and His faithful love endures forever.  So you can count on Him being there for you always.  And as Mr. Wilson said, governments should be formed to secure and enlarge the exercise of the natural rights of its members.  Not doing so means the government is not legitimate.  Note it says enlarging the exercise of the natural rights of its members, not of the rights or privileges given by the government.  Our government is not enlarging our natural rights or our abilities to exercise our natural rights.  Instead, they enact every possible rule or regulation in an attempt to prevent us from succeeding.  So we must act.  Might I suggest we first look to our brother and sister groups in the tea party and 9/12 project sites to see what they are doing successfully.  And listen to the message from the pulpit.

Take care, God bless,

Howdy all!  So I guess I have found evidence for Juan Williams’ claim that all tea partiers are racists.  If you missed it, he was on Hannity with Michelle Malkin and claimed that tea partiers were racists but could not show evidence when asked by Malkin.  But Sunday came and proof was made available that must be shared.  I, my wife, and our best friend are all racists.  We were all out having a sandwich dinner sitting by the Columbia River in Richland WA.  Suddenly a trailer detached from a pickup truck right behind us.  We saw the trailer spin, screech, hit the back of the pickup before coming to a stop with its hitch tongue pointing upward (load shifted to the rear).  The other vehicles did the safe thing and continued to pass.  But no, we RACISTS had to go and see if we could help.  And darned if it wasn’t an African-American and a Hispanic woman coming out of the truck!  To make things worse, they had no idea how to get the trailer hooked back up with the load shifted.  Sure, we should have been like the other good citizens and continued on the road.  But nooooo!  We just HAD to stop.  After all we are racists, right?  HATEMONGERS!!  We even had the gall to ask what we can do!  I mean, they could have done well on their own.  Well, we stuck are noses and shoulders into it, right alongside of this man and woman.  I didn’t even think to ask him if he had a jack in his truck before I so smugly retrieved mine and tried to jack the trailer so we could hitch it back up.  He didn’t have one, but I should have asked.  I EVEN CALLED HIM SIR!  The nerve!!  To make things even worse, I didn’t say a single derogatory or prejudice thing to him.  I didn’t even ask if he had a hoodie.  So, you see, I am a racist.  I stopped and helped, but I am a racist; because I am a tea partying kind of guy.  Might as well lock me up right now.  Someone get Juan Williams on the phone and tell him to come over right away.  Fortunately there are a number of citizens of far better character than this trio of which I speak.  Unfortunately, at least for Mr. Williams, they are also tea partiers.  God bless us all.

This is the day the Lord has made.  We will rejoice and be glad in it. ~ Psalm 118:24

Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. ~ James 1:2-3

Howdy all!  I haven’t shared with you for a couple of days.  I’ve been spending time with the family.  Friday night we watched Braveheart.  I loved the movie the first time I watched it.  But now, with all that has been going on, I enjoy it even more.  It’s the story of the fight for Scotland against a tyrannical King, and the people who fight it.  And as I watched, I couldn’t help but compare it to the effort to restore the constitution and regain our national pride.  Sadly, the story doesn’t end well for William Wallace, due primarily to the betrayal of other Scottish nobles.  A good lesson for us all.

Any hoo,..

Come and see what our God has done, what awesome miracles he performs for people. ~ Psalm 66:5

During the course of administration, and in order to disturb it, the artillery of the press has been levelled against us, charged with whatsoever its licentiousness could devise or dare. These abuses of an institution so important to freedom and science are deeply to be regretted, inasmuch as they tend to lessen its usefulness and to sap its safety. ~ Thomas Jefferson, Second Inaugural Address, 1805

Our Creator has done so many great things for us all here in America.  To say that we take it all for granted would be a gross understatement.  Even today, even us; there are things and situations we take for granted.  I don’t have to list them; you know what they are.  Take the media for example, PLEASE!  (Sorry, couldn’t help the Henny Youngman impulse!)

Seriously, they hide behind the first amendment to say the worst they could conjure up, regardless of the truth.  They hide the truth from their customers so as to protect those they like and support.  We all know about that.  Yet, it would be difficult to find anyone who has not done something similar in the past year.  Sure it can be denied, but at least two know the truth; Him being one of them.  I agree with what Jefferson says.  The abuses of the freedom by the press are truly regrettable and diminish the respect for the press each and every day.  But when we choose to use ‘poetic license’ ourselves, we fit right in next to the likes of the NY Times.  It’s like Matthew 7:4 - How can you think of saying to your friend, 'Let me help you get rid of that speck in your eye,' when you can't see past the log in your own eye?

So, what to do?  The best thing to do is reflect how you embellish, and ensure that the embellishment is truly necessary to enhance the truth, not your involvement.  When you’ve completed that task, that log will be gone, and the speck you'll see in other’s eyes.  More importantly, you will see the miracle of the city on the hill with the greatest of clarity.  It will be then, that the movement of restoring our nation, its constitution and its economy will become an easy task.

Howdy all!  Got through this far into the week.  Only a couple of more days, and I can dig up more irrigation piping.  Gotta love that spring spirit!

The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure.  ~ 1 Corinthians 10:13
It is sufficiently obvious, that persons and property are the two great subjects on which Governments are to act; and that the rights of persons, and the rights of property, are the objects, for the protection of which Government was instituted. These rights cannot well be separated. ~ James Madison, Speech at the Virginia Convention, 1829

As mentioned in 1 Corinthians 10:13, God will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand.  He will instead show you a way to endure.  The rub is you must be able to see the way.  So the question begs to be asked, “What is the way?”  The same applies in our country today.  He has given us so many hints to follow and avenues to take.  But do we see them?  Do we want to see them?  My guess is that we the people all do want to know the way.  I believe that we already know the way.  The problem is the choice to take the path is a hard one to make.  It is not a clear path.  But it is the obvious path.  As Madison said, governments are to act on the protection of our rights to person and property.  These two cannot easily be separated, he said.  So why does the government try to separate them anyway?  The answer is power; not the power that comes from being a strong nation around the world.  No, our federally elected employees seek personal power; selfish, greedy personal power.  Sadly, we let them do it.  Yes we do.  If you don’t believe me, then check on the longevity of service for the senators and congressmen/women.  How long have yours been in DC?  Are they running for re-election?  I thought so.  And those that are retiring, have they renounced their governmental pension?  Yeah, personal power.  Congress is for We the People.  We granted them the power they have.  They continue to take more and we let them.  All we have to do is challenge their conservatism.  Ask them bold questions.  Make them sweat.  Tell them that you are their boss, not the speaker, not the majority or minority manager, definitely not the president.  We are.  That may be hard to convince them.  It may be tempting to just sit back and wait to see what happens.  But God has not placed before you a temptation you cannot handle.  There are people right now working hard to disenfranchise you.  They are in the Democratic and Republican parties.  They are in management roles.  They are not leaders, but they call themselves leaders.  It is up to us to step up to the plate.  It may be intimidating.  But remember, there will be no temptation allowed that is more than you can handle.

Take care, God bless,

Howdy all!  Oh, and I wonder if you have met my wife, Terri.  She is my rock, my best friend.  And she has the gift of tongue, or should I say tongue in cheek.  Or should I say, tongue in your face!  She does not hold back at all.  She writes to the President, Romney, local and federal elected employees, and most of all to others in the social media who think Barry is an ok guy.  I am certain of two things relate to her.  She can turn an Obama minion into a conservative (already got one!), and we are both probably on the preferred customer list for occupying a FEMA camp.  I love her so much!  Meet her on the web.  She hangs out mostly at the Patriots Familys site on Facebook.

Any h..do you hear a helicopter?..

Jesus replied:  "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind."  ~ Matthew 22:37

The sacred rights of mankind are not to be rummaged for, among old parchments, or musty records. They are written, as with a sun beam, in the whole volume of human nature, by the hand of the divinity itself; and can never be erased or obscured by mortal power." --Alexander Hamilton, The Farmer Refuted, 1775

We should all love our Creator with every thread of our being.  He has given us so many things to be thankful for; family, friends, and a conscience. And He has given us this city on the hill.  Now, let me say this, although the US is a gift from God, it is NOT an entitlement.  It is not something we just get and don’t need to care for.  This country of ours is a gift to cherish and nurture.  Unfortunately we have done a pretty poor job of caring for it.  We have allowed it to be overrun by those who would see it end.  So, what to do?  Well, we can first uphold the Constitution.  It is our instructional guide to a better republic.  Our rights as citizens are scribed here.  And to use the words of Hamilton, we should not treat the constitution as an old parchment or musty record.  Our sacred rights are written as with a sun beam in the whole volume of human nature.  It can never be erased or obscured by mortal power.  We should treat the Constitution in the same manner.  Those federally elected employees who want to cease using the Constitution have a perfectly reasonable action to take if they don’t want to uphold their oath.  They can go home.  Let’s help them go home.  It doesn’t matter if they have a donkey or an elephant on their lapel pin.  If they don’t want to uphold and defend the Constitution, send them packing.

Take care, God bless,

AND STAND WITH ISRAEL!!!

Howdy all!  How are you all doing?  For me, I have been blessed with the life I have.  I have a great family, great friends, I love my country and my God.  And after living through the uncertainty of unemployment I now have a great job.  It’s very challenging, lots of good people, and I have the room to put my mark on things that I didn’t have before.  And, there’s the chance I may need to travel to the home office, which is in SWEDEN!  Sounds cool, eh?  I say this not to brag, but to offer my thanks to all who have prayed for me while I searched for employment.  I am ever so grateful for you praying for me.  I hope I can do even a fraction of what you have done for me.

Any hoo,..

For everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved. ~ Romans 10:13

All, too, will bear in mind this sacred principle, that though the will of the majority is in all cases to prevail, that will to be rightful must be reasonable; that the minority possess their equal rights, which equal law must protect, and to violate would be oppression." --Thomas Jefferson, First Inaugural Address, 1801

I am also very grateful to live in a country where I have the ability to thank God for my blessings, and offer my criticism to our government.  You know there is a constitutional article in the Chinese Constitution that allows freedom of speech.  There’s also an article that allows speech as long as it is not against the government.  You should read the Chinese Constitution sometime.  In fact here’s a link to a transcript http://www.usconstitution.net/china.html for you to enjoy.

Our government, as Jefferson notes here, does recognize the majority as the prevailing wind, yet also recognizes the “equal rights” of the minority.  He said this is a sacred principle; that equal rights must be – MUST BE – protected by equal law.  To violate that responsibility would be oppression.  Gee, I wonder what he would say today.  Today, we still follow the democratic concept of majority rules, but we have been forced by ALL parties in our government to set the equal protection aside.  This is not a donkey party or elephant party issue.  It is an issue of the federally elected employees oppressing their bosses: We the Employers!  This nation belongs to us, ‘We the People’.  It is written in the Declaration of Independence, and outlined in the Constitution that we are the owners of this nation.  It does NOT belong solely to anyone elected, or appointed by and elected employee.  It’s time to get our acts together and show the governmental management who the true leaders of our country are.  It is you, with the family to feed; you with the sick loved one; you, with the college kids, and grade school kids. It is you with the rest of your retired life to seek the happiness that will take you to the natural end.  It is for you that this country has existed for the last 236 years.  Why are we letting these inept employees run and ruin our lives?

We, including the federally elected employees, are all human.  We make mistakes.  How we gain experience is by learning from our mistakes for future success.  But there comes a time when we must realize that when mistakes are repeatedly repeated, they are no longer mistakes.  Our federally elected employees are repeatedly repeating mistakes.  Therefore they are not mistakes.  They are doing so on purpose.  The only sensible reason is that they are doing so for their own gain, NOT for you or me.  This must stop; at every level.  Even if the elected position has a candidate we know already, or is of the party of our choosing, we must not let them skate by through the primary or general election.  This sacred principle, that though the will of the majority is in all cases to prevail, that will to be rightful must be reasonable; that the minority possess their equal rights, which equal law must protect, and to violate would be oppression.  We the People have the most important task that any US citizen has ever been asked to do, outside of serving and sacrificing in our armed forces.  We must choose our government employees.  Especially in this year, we have no more important duty as a citizen.  Please, don’t let it slip by you.  Get out and vote, Get your neighbors out.  Go to the meet and greets in your area.  Ask the tough questions.  Demand truth in the answers.  And don’t let them skip out without sweat stains in their armpits!  By calling on His name, we will be saved.  We must also call upon ourselves to save the city on the hill He gave us for our stay on earth.

Take care, God bless,

AND STAND WITH ISRAEL!!!

Howdy all!  I hope you all had a good Saturday!  And may your Sunday bring you all the joy and peace the Lord has to share.  And He has a whole lot of that to share!  Amen to that!

And don't forget to do good and to share with those in need.  These are the sacrifices that please God.

~ Hebrews 13:16

The People of the United States possess in a high degree a spirit of liberty.  That is the principle which is natural to the human mind.  We love to have the command of our own actions and the direction of our own interests.  Our minds rise with indignation against oppression and tyranny.  These natural feelings have never been eradicated from our minds by subjection to the will of the tyrant.  But that freedom with which the principles of liberty have been discussed, that ardour with which they have been inculcated upon the public minds, that long struggle for liberty which has called these principles into action, have so fixed and confirmed the spirit of liberty that it must and will long continue to be a ruling principle of our actions, and guard us against the encroachments of tyranny. ~ “The Principal Circumstances Which Render Liberty Secure”, ‘The Republican’ to the People, 1788

Ladies and Gentlemen!  This is it!  When I came upon this writing, I couldn’t believe what I was reading.  Read this and I am certain you will agree.  This, my friends, my fellow patriots is the quintessential definition of a tea partier.  And it was written during the public debate on the Constitution in 1788.  And, we don’t need a government to mandate we do good and share with those in need.  We already have our instruction from Him, as evidenced in Hebrews 13:16.

And you wonder how I can continue doing this for over 2 years!  I love doing this!!!!!

For the Lord grants wisdom! From his mouth come knowledge and understanding. ~ Proverbs 2:6

The invasion of private rights is chiefly to be apprehended, not from acts of Government contrary to the sense of its constituents, but from acts in which the Government is the mere instrument of the major number of the Constituents. ~ James Madison, letter to Thomas Jefferson, 1788

When the good Lord was handing out the wisdom, he surely didn’t short any of the founders.  If might be a bit difficult to decode some of their writings, but that has no bearing on their knowledge and understanding of where they are and where they are going.  Madison says the acts of the government taking private rights from the people must be stopped, but you can’t trust the government to stop on their own (it’s that fox guarding the henhouse idea).  Instead, it’s the will of the people, We the People who must lead the charge to have the government stop violating private rights.  Here’s an example I mentioned a while ago, but now have received some verification.  Obama and his cronies all have this notion that the illegal immigrants actually like him and would (and in many instances will) vote for him in November.  I said some time back that the truth is the Latino and other migrant population is now seeing the light about the executive orders and horrible legislation from the Obama leaning government.  I told you that farms may have to leave their crops unharvested due to a lack of workers.  They seem to have realized that the out of pocket cost of Obamacare, on top of the other legislation has basically emptied their wallets and pockets.  Since the ‘big money’ will not be there, the answer is to go home.   Well on the radio this morning, the report was sent out.  Fruit farms around Washington State will have to leave many crops unharvested.  The reason?  The workers are going back home.  They cannot afford the increased cost of the free health care.  The report said that there are more farm workers are leaving the country than entering.

The bottom line:

  1. The immigrant/working alien/illegal alien population does NOT like what has happened with their healthcare.
  2. They DON’T like Obama.  At least they don’t like him anymore.
  3. Those who vote, and plan to stay here to vote, will most likely vote someone other than Obama.
    1. Remember when there was so much discussion about the Latino vote, and how they will shape the election?  I guess all the talk was right, only the side they would choose was wrong.
    2. The only places you will hear about the Latino support for Obama is in the lamestream media.  Don’t trust the LSM.  You knew that, right?

Don’t fret so much over the scuttlebutt about the Latino vote for Bobo.  Consider the source; the lamestream source.

Howdy all!  I usually like to start with a little humor that is not necessarily political in nature.  But I must say, when I read that the Solicitor General did worse today against the State of Arizona than he did against the States over Obamacare, I had a good laugh.  Even Justice Sotomayor had issues with the feds.  WHAT IS THIS WORLD COMING TO!  So much common sense being thrown around like, like, COMMON SENSE!  Even Liberals are being infected!

Any hoo,..

Joyful is the person who finds wisdom, the one who gains understanding. ~ Proverbs 3:13

If by the liberty of the press were understood merely the liberty of discussing the propriety of public measures and political opinions, let us have as much of it as you please: But if it means the liberty of affronting, calumniating and defaming one another, I, for my part, own myself willing to part with my share of it, whenever our legislators shall please so to alter the law and shall chearfully consent to exchange my liberty of abusing others for the privilege of not being abused myself." --Benjamin Franklin, 1789

Isn’t cool how the founders all had a flare with words?  Just read Franklin’s quote for today.  It’s a bit hard to decipher.  But in essence he says, “I don’t want to be associated with the lamestream media if all they are going to do is tear people down, instead of using the freedom of the press to tell the truth.”  Imagine if he was alive today.  What would he say?  Actually, I think we all know what he’d say, so I’ll leave it at that.  But just imagine the wisdom he could offer to the media?  How joyful would the media become to be able to share the wisdom and experience of one Benjamin Franklin? How joyful would we all be?

Howdy all!  Well, after a full sweep yesterday, it looks like there is a clear message to tell.  Yes, it was a full sweep.  Now the only thing left to do is clean last night’s dishes.

Any hoo,..

Anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person.  The old life is gone; a new life has begun!

~ 2 Corinthians 5:17

In disquisitions of every kind there are certain primary truths, or first principles, upon which all subsequent reasoning must depend." --Alexander Hamilton, Federalist No. 31, 1788

OK, I had to look up disquisition: dissertation or formal discourse, a debate.  So, as Hamilton opines, in every debate there are principles or truths required to conduct a debate of substance.  Otherwise there is nothing but superficial blah blah.  So why does this ring a bell in my head?  Of course!  Just listen to the political debates going on in the lamestream media.  Listen to the managers of the parties.  Remember, they are managers, not leaders.  Leaders lead the way while managers manage to muddle through.  So, the managers of both parties are so stuck on their positions, they sound like broken records on every issue.  It doesn’t even matter if their jargon has an ounce of truth or not.  As long as they stick to the party line you know…  So, to have a substantial debate with anyone, you need to know your facts.  Armed with facts, you cannot lose any debate with anyone, especially with those who follow the party line, either party!  Instead you will end the debate with one of two possible outcomes; the debaters will agree on one of the positions, or you will agree to disagree, with smiles on the face.  Either side comes with punchlines, mottoes or slogans; they will be crushed in the debate.  Now, the verse from 1 Corinthians does play a role here.  Those who belong to Christ, who believe in Him have become anew in their faith; reborn.  I know, because I have grown closer to Him than I’ve been for decades, which has definitely awakened a part of me that I almost forgot about.  I’ve carried this awakening into my tea party world.  I am not fearful of castigation, or ridicule.  Instead I stand by my oath; I stand by my God and I stand by my family, friends and country.  My awakening has helped me speak the truth against those who wish not to debate, but crush the truth.  Yet I will not be silent.  We all need to find our awakening.  With it, there aren’t issues or complications in the way.  The path becomes clear.  You can see it.  You just have to have faith.  And stand with your principles – truths.

Howdy all!  Work week is now I full swing.  And so is the weather!  We have thunder and lightning here is SE Washington, but the rain is always welcome so we can live with the noise.

Your laws are always right; help me to understand them so I may live. ~ Psalm 119:144

If, then, the control of the people over the organs of their government be the measure of its republicanism, and I confess I know no other measure, it must be agreed that our governments have much less of republicanism than ought to have been expected; in other words, that the people have less regular control over their agents, than their rights and their interests require. ~ Thomas Jefferson, letter to John Taylor, 1816

So, even in the times of Jefferson there was a need for the tea party!  The people have less regular control over their agents, than their rights and their interests require.  Sound familiar?  Yoooo betcha!  So what is there to do?  Easy; vote them out!  We all know the power of our voice.  Liberals, progressives, conservatives, mainstream, blue dog, whatever your title of slanted view might be, we all know the power of the voice.  2010, the voice travelled far across the land to change the outlook of the House, but that was not enough.  This year we look to maintain the House and change the outlook of the Senate, but that will not be easy.  And we look to the presidency.  That may not be easy, thanks to Mr. Obama, he keeps making it easier and easier.

Our republic, our land ruled by law is under attack in the form of a fundamental transformation.  We all know that.  But our friends and family and neighbors do not.  They still have the ostrich outlook.  We need to get their attention.  So might I suggest today’s verse from Psalm.  His law is always right, but we cannot say that about our laws.  They are imperfect, as are we all.  So it takes some understanding to get it right, and live in harmony.  It’s worth the debate, although not worth a fight.  Not against each other on a field of battle, only in a field of debate.  We do need to be ready for every scenario.  But our voice and our vote have so much power.  No other place on earth has ever had the power we have.  We must use that power wisely to restore the strength of our republic; so we may live, have liberty, and pursue the happiness we all deserve.

Howdy all!  Another week begins.  Another day closer to Election Day.  Another day preparing.  I want to be ready, prepared.  And I want the effort to be for naught.  But ready we will be.

The Lord gives righteousness and justice to all who are treated unfairly. ~ Psalm 103:6

At a time when our lordly Masters in Great Britain will be satisfied with nothing less than the deprivation of American freedom, it seems necessary that something shou’d be done to avert the stroke and maintain the liberty which we have derived from our Ancestors; but the manner of doing it to answer the purpose eventually is the point in question. ~ George Washington, letter to George Mason, 1769

There are days I find myself full of happiness; just looking at the blue sky makes me smile all day long.  There are days where I get so frustrated; at politics, at the media, at my email, and at the empty ice cream cone box.  Then there are times when my principles and core values kick in; instinct, experience, leadership, honor, courage and commitment.  There are days like these that make me wonder, “Am I ready for what may come?”  Honestly, I don’t know.  But I do know I will continue to prepare.  But what must I do to be prepared?  I guess as George said, “The manner of doing it to answer the purpose eventually is the point in question.”

It took years for the manner of doing in the time of Washington.  He wrote this in 1769, seven years before the Declaration.  Now I’m not suggesting that it will take us a full seven years to get our country going in the proper direction.  Heck that would be silly of me.  No, my estimate is that it will take much longer; yes longer.  Why?  Because my friends and patriots, no matter how long it takes to restore our republic, it will never be the same as we remember from childhood.  Never.  It will instead be so much stronger.  Our country (and I say our country with the utter most respect and reverence for our country and citizens) has already changed.  We are living through a paradigm shift.  Think of the watch makers in Switzerland who scoffed at the people who brought a new idea to them.  The watch makers laughed them out of Europe.  So the folks from Casio decided to make their newfangled digital wrist watches themselves.  Now how many of us are wearing a Swiss digital watch?  The watch world changed and never went back.  Our republic is changing and we will never go back.  But we need to continue the restoration of our Constitution, our economic system of free markets, and the reduction of the massive government which we cannot sustain much longer.  We will like the results.  The nation will be stronger than ever.  And our descendants will be glad for what we’ve done, just like we praise our ancestors.  Our lordly Master in Washington DC will be satisfied with nothing less than the deprivation of American freedom, which will open the doors to socialism, Marxism, and communism.  We the People are being treated terribly unfairly.  For that, He will give us all the righteousness and justice needed to continue.  We must all prepare as best we can; definitely with our vote in November, probably with the stores and supplies if and when they are needed.  And if the time does come, we must be as the Yankee Doodle the British poked fun at: Stand at the ready with Bible, Constitution and Declaration of Independence in hand, and weapons holstered.  Let us pray we have the strength to get our ostrich friends’ heads out of the sand in time to embrace the paradigm shift.

Howdy all!  The weekend is here!  It’s time to go out and enjoy the great weather, and plant the seeds for the garden.  Yeah right.  I’m going to enjoy the weekend without the dirt and mulch and weeding and,..  Oh wait.  I forgot my wife reads this.  Never mind.

And when I am lifted up from the earth, I will draw everyone to myself. ~ John 12:32

There is no good government but what is republican. That the only valuable part of the British constitution is so; for the true idea of a republic is 'an empire of laws, and not of men.'  That, as a republic is the best of governments, so that particular arrangement of the powers of society, or in other words, that form of government which is best contrived to secure an impartial and exact execution of the law, is the best of republics." --John Adams, Thoughts on Government, 1776

There has been only one person ever on earth who could draw the masses to himself after life.  Jesus Christ.  And of course He wasn’t drawing people for himself.  He drew them to save them, and offer the glory of following Him to the Father.  No one else has ever been able to do this, and no one else will.  Yet, people still think they can get the masses to follow them to whatever demise lays in wait.  False prophets.  Do you know of any?  They get in positions of control and try to convince the masses that they are the ones to be followed, not Him.  Know anyone like that nowadays?

In 1776 and the decade beyond, men took to arms and to pen.  They did so to build a city on a hill.  To govern that city they developed the most extraordinary government structure ever seen on the planet.  The city belonged to We the People.  The government was granted powers by We the People.  The representatives were selected by We the People, and the states.  It was NOT the federal government that chose for themselves.  And We the People gave strength to the government by granting checks and balances to the executive, legislative and judiciary branches.  I say very specifically, ‘We the People’ did this; our founders, our ancestors and all the descendants down to us.  We are now ‘We the People’.  The form of government they gave us is a republican form of government.  Not a government run by the GOP, but a government ruled by law.  This was so important to the founders that they inserted this form of government as a guarantee.  In fact, it was so important that they used the word guarantee in Article IV Section 4.  “The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government..”  In fact, it was so important they used the word guarantee only once in the entire Constitution, including the amendments.  Article IV Section 4 is my favorite part of the entire Constitution.  To me, this one simple description of our form of government is the cornerstone of the entire document.  Without this guarantee, the republic would have fallen long ago.  But just a republic wouldn’t do.  Rome was a republic.  The USSR was a union of republics.  It’s called the People’s Republic of China.  So why is republic so good?  “That, as a republic is the best of governments, so that particular arrangement of the powers of society, or in other words, that form of government which is best contrived to secure an impartial and exact execution of the law, is the best of republics.  Checks and balances, granted to our city on a hill by We the People.

It is up to us to keep the republic we were told about when Ben Franklin left the Constitutional Convention.  We the People have that right, and responsibility.  But it cannot happen because of We the Tea Party, or We the Conservatives.  It must be We the People.  So, We have some work to do.  Talk to your friends and neighbors.  We, who have been ostracized must inform and convince those who have ‘ostrich-ized’ themselves to get their heads out of the sand and see what has been happening, what we have been trying to save.  It won’t be fun, or easy.  But I know We the People can do it.  Why?  Because we have to.  And, it will always be worth it.

Take care, God bless,

AND STAND WITH ISRAEL!!!
