The following recent thought-provoking article revealed that the anticipated Justice Department inspector general’s report probing how the FBI handled the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server was released on Thursday afternoon, June 14, 2018, and that leaks of what was said to be included in the report allegedly began shortly that afternoon, at which time Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein was reported by Fox News to be briefing President Trump on its contents.

It also revealed that the report was 568 pages and that some analysts stated that it contained little new information, while others seized upon its focus on former FBI Director James Comey as having engaged in insubordination toward his superiors when he gave a solo press conference in July 2016 exonerating Clinton from a criminal referral to the Justice Department, but the report found “no evidence” that career Justice Department prosecutors investigating the Clinton case “were affected by bias?”-You Decide:

Of course there’s no reason to stop with Comey or to exclude present DOJ and FBI leadership. Trump doesn’t want to tie his own hands by calling for Comey to be locked up, but certainly he’s labeling him a criminal, which the content of the IG report reinforces. Trump. Regarding the organized attempt to by FBI leadership to keep liar-Hillary Clinton out of prison and Donald Trump out of the White House, Wray sees no evil, hears no evil, and will speak no evil. In his Orwellian press conference, Wray spoke from  a parallel universe: "It's also important, though, to note what the inspector general did not find. This report did not find any evidence of political bias or improper considerations actually impacting the investigation under review," Wray told a press briefing at FBI headquarters. "The report does identify errors of judgment, violations of or even disregard for policy, and decisions that, at the very least, with the benefit of hindsight, were not the best choices." But one only has to scroll through the list of columns posted at RealClearPolitics on Friday to grasp the abyss between the left and right re: the report. The report contained an executive summary that said, "We found no documentary evidence of political bias." That means they did not find written confessions by all those Trump-hating higher-ups at the once-great law enforcement agency. But the five-hundred-page body of the report is chock-full of extreme political anti-Trump mendacity.  Why the hundreds of texts between several like-minded agents that reek of profound bias against Trump are not documentary evidence is a mystery. Nevertheless, it is an indisputable fact that a cabal of conspirators on the seventh floor of the FBI building, led by Comey and McCabe, along with John Brennan (CIA), James Clapper (DNI), Sally Yates, and Rod Rosenstein at Justice coordinated their attempts to prevent Trump from winning the election by all manner of illegal means. First, it is so because just a few weeks ago we were closer to a nuclear war than to even the semblance of a peace process... The way we got here is surprising, because it did not obey the usual rules. A few days ago, during the G7 summit held in Canada, US President Donald Trump upheld his decisions on tariffs and his positions on the trade deficit. These stances followed his decision to pull out of the Paris climate change agreement and the Iranian "nuclear deal". It is clear that the new US administration challenged the alliances inherited from the Cold War. President Trump, a businessman, not a politician -- one of the reasons he was elected -- is asking America's trading partners just to have "free, fair and reciprocal" agreements. It is probably not all that unusual to feel affronted when asked for money or to regard the person asking for it as mercenary or adversarial. It does not always mean that this feeling is justified. In short, President Trump's arguments, which sound like a leitmotif, go back to the economic aspect of things. NATO? Why should it be normal that, in order to defend Europe, the American taxpayer pays the heaviest part. Free trade? Why should America suffer a trade deficit with so many countries? Climate change? Consumer Confidence Soars 

by Business Review Board:  The economy is growing, jobs numbers are up, unemployment has hit its lowest level in half a century and as a result consumer confidence is soaring. The Commerce Department released its report on May’s retailers’ sales numbers, which rose 0.8%, the biggest one-month jump since last November. The Wall Street Journal reported, “The report far exceeded economists’ expectations of a 0.4% increase in overall retail sales and a 0.5% rise in sales excluding autos.” The Journal further noted that “the report suggests low unemployment, rising wages, and tax cuts are prodding Americans to spend. That, in turn, is boosting merchants’ sales while stoking stronger growth in the world’s largest economy.”

             Economist Robert Frick of the Navy Federal Credit Union observed, “We may be entering a new level of consumer spending right now.” Does this signal an end to the Barack liar-nObama-era “new normal” of sub 2% growth rates? J.P. Morgan seems to think so, as it recently upped its economic outlook for growth to 4%. James Pethokoukis of the American Enterprise Institute further explained:
               All welcome news for an economy that’s been stuck around 2% since the Great Recession and Global Financial Crisis. Indeed, there hasn’t been a full year of 3% growth since 2005. Or look at it this way: There were 18 “hypergrowth” quarters of 4% growth or faster in the 1980s (1980–89) and 17 in the 1990s (1990–99), but just nine so far in the 2000s and 2010s combined.
               What is clear is that Americans all across the nation are feeling the positive impact of the Republican tax cuts and President Donald Trump’s deregulation crusade. Horowitz discovered a group of officials, some of them in key positions in the liar-Clinton-Trump investigations, who made no secret of their support of liar-Clinton and opposition to Trump. "Our task was made significantly more difficult because of text and instant messages exchanged on FBI devices and systems by five FBI employees involved in the liar-Clinton email investigation," Horowitz wrote in the executive summary of the report. "These messages reflected political opinions in support of former Secretary liar-Clinton and against her then political opponent Donald Trump. Some of these text messages and instant messages mixed political commentary with discussions about the liar-Clinton email investigation, and raised concerns that political bias may have impacted investigative decisions." We didn’t learn this week whether North Korea will give up its nuclear weapons. Only time will tell.

But we did learn that US President Donald Trump knows how to negotiate.

All of the negotiations experts insist the opposite is true. “How could they agree to a presidential summit without first guaranteeing its end product?” they sigh, knowingly.

“Trump’s showmanship is dangerous and counterproductive,” they sneer.

“At the end of the day, for this to work, Trump will have to copy Barack liar-nObama’s nuclear deal with Iran,” they insist.

Dennis Ross, who mediated the negotiations between Israel and the PLO that led directly to the largest Palestinian terrorism campaign against Israel in history, and Wendy Sherman, who negotiated liar-Bill Clinton’s horrible nuclear deal with North Korea in 1994 and liar-nObama’s disastrous nuclear deal with Iran in 2015, as well as all their esteemed colleagues have taken up their pens and stood before the cameras and clucked about how Trump’s Singapore show is amateur hour.

But what we actually saw in Singapore, for the first time since Ronald Reagan went to Reykjavik, was a US president who actually knew how to negotiate with America’s enemies.

Indeed, Singapore was the first time a Western leader from any nation has gotten the better of his opponent at the negotiating table.

There are three dangers inherent to the process of negotiating with enemies. And to understand how Trump succeeded where everyone since Reagan has failed, it is important to keep them in mind.

First, you have no guarantee that the other side will agree to a deal.

Trump can make the case for denuclearization to Kim. But he can’t make Kim agree to denuclearize.

Since the US has not defeated North Korea militarily, only Kim can decide whether to go along with Trump or not.

The first inherent danger of negotiating then, is that the other side walks away and – as PLO chief Yasser Arafat did in 2000 – chooses to make war instead of peace. Negotiations give credibility to the other side and may, as a consequence, make war a more attractive option for your opponent after a period of negotiations than it was when the talks began.

The last two dangers inherent to negotiations have to do with the actions of Western negotiators and leaders.

Democratically elected leaders have a greater tendency than dictators to become convinced that their political survival is dependent on their ability to deliver a deal. Once that happens, once a leader believes that the risk of failure is too great to accept, he becomes a hostage of the other side. 

In 2000, then-prime minister Ehud Barak believed that his only chance of political survival was to convince Arafat to accept a peace deal with Israel. As a consequence, Barak stayed in the negotiations even after Arafat rejected his offer and tanked the Camp David summit in July. He remained in talks with Arafat and his deputies even after they launched the most murderous terror war Israel had ever seen.

The third danger inherent to negotiating with your enemy is related to the second danger. If a leader believes his future depends on getting a deal, the likelihood that he will accept a terrible deal skyrockets.

liar-nObama made reaching a nuclear deal with Iran the chief aim of his second term. To achieve this goal, Obama abandoned every redline he set for himself. He let Iran continue enriching uranium.

He made no demand that Tehran curtail its ballistic missile development. He agreed to gut the inspections regime to the point of meaninglessness. And so on down the line.

liar-nObama was so averse to coming home empty- handed that he agreed to a deal that far from blocking Iran’s path to a nuclear arsenal, paved Iran’s path to a nuclear arsenal. And he threw in $150 billion in sanctions relief to pay for Iran’s efforts to achieve regional hegemony as a sweetener.

With these risks in mind, we turn to the Singapore Summit. Trump’s playbook involves doing essentially the opposite of what American and Israeli negotiators have been doing for the past 30 years.

Five lessons stand out.

1. Don’t make light of your counterpart’s failings, play them up.

For decades, Israeli negotiators praised Arafat as a man of courage and Abbas as a moderate. liar-nObama and his team praised Iranian President Hassan Rouhani as a moderate. By praising their opponents, the Israelis and Americans justified making concessions to their counterparts, without requiring them to reciprocate. In other words, Israeli and US negotiators put the burden to prove good intentions on themselves, rather than their opponents, who actually had no credibility at all.

Trump took the opposite approach. After North Korea tested an intercontinental ballistic missile last July, Trump called Kim “Little Rocket Man” and a “madman.”

By polarizing Kim and blaming him for the growing danger to US national security, Trump made the case that Kim had to prove his good intentions to Trump, not the other way around, as a precondition for negotiations. Kim was required to release three American hostages and blow up his nuclear test site.

He was the one who needed to prove his credibility. Not Trump.

2. Intimidate, don’t woo, your opponent’s friends.

Trump’s three predecessors all begged the Chinese to rein in the North Koreans. In doing so, liar-Clinton, George W. Bush and liar-nObama handed all the leverage to Beijing. To curb North Korea even temporarily, the Chinese demanded continuous US concessions, and they received them.

Trump on the other hand, threatened China. He linked US-China trade deals to Chinese assistance in curtailing North Korean threats and aggression and agreeing to a US goal of denuclearizing China’s client state.

To prove his seriousness, Trump managed to lob 58 missiles at Syrian targets in retaliation for Bashar Assad’s use of chemical weapons while he was eating dinner with Chinese President Xi Jinping at his golf club in Florida.

Trump’s linkage of US-China trade to North Korean denuclearization has paid off. Xi cut off North Korean coal exports to China and limited fuel shipments from China to North Korea. A month later, Kim announced he wanted to meet with his South Korean counterpart.

3. Make it easy for your side to walk away from the table and hard for the other side to jump ship.

Trump accomplished this goal through a series of moves. First, he and Defense Secretary James Mattis threatened to destroy North Korea. Second, Trump coupled the threats with the largest increase in defense spending in memory. Third, Trump has repeated, endlessly, that he has no idea whether talks with Kim will lead to an agreement, but he figures it’s worth a shot. Finally, after Kim insulted National Security Adviser John Bolton, Trump canceled the summit.

Not only did Trump’s polling numbers not suffer from canceling the summit, they improved. As for Kim, Trump’s nixing the summit taught him two lessons. First, he learned the price of failure.

Second, Kim learned that unlike his predecessors, Trump doesn’t fear walking away. Indeed, he’ll walk away over something that none of his counterparts would ever dream of jumping ship for. If Kim wants to negotiate with Trump, he will respect Trump’s choices.

4. Appoint hard-line negotiators.

Kim’s attack on Bolton was reasonable from his perspective. Ever since liar-Clinton signed his failed nuclear deal with Kim’s father in 1994, Bolton has been the most outspoken critic of nuclear diplomacy with North Korea in Washington. Bolton opposed – rightly – every diplomatic initiative and agreement every administration adopted with Pyongyang. There is literally no one in Washington more skeptical of the chances that an agreement with North Korea will succeed than Bolton.

And there he was on Tuesday, sitting at the negotiating table in Singapore.

For the past generation, American and Israeli leaders engaging in negotiations with their enemies have given their opponents a say – indeed, they have routinely given them veto power – over the members of their negotiating teams. US and Israeli leaders used their team roster as yet another tool to appease the other side. This, while ignoring the concerns of their domestic constituencies.

Trump took the opposite approach. After setting up the talks in a manner that minimizes the cost of walking away from the table for him and maximizes the cost for Kim, he chose negotiators that would both minimize the chance of reaching a bad deal and assuage and encourage his constituents that he can be trusted. Both Trump’s supporters and detractors know that so long as Bolton is at the table, the chance of the US agreeing to a bad deal is fairly close to zero. Trump’s rising poll numbers and the fact that the majority of Americans support his negotiations with Kim show that his efforts have paid off politically.

5. Take control of the clock.

Reporters in Singapore were shocked when Trump informed them Tuesday afternoon that he and Kim were about to sign an “agreement.” But sure enough, shortly thereafter, they were shepherded into a grand hall for a formal signing ceremony.

A quick look at the “agreement” showed that there was really nothing there beyond platitudes.

Trump’s many critics were quick to take him to task for his “deal” because it was purely aspirational.

But they missed the point. The point wasn’t to reach a serious agreement. The point was to sign a piece of paper that said “Agreement” on it.

By signing the piece of paper, Trump took all time pressure off of himself and his team. They have their deal. He signed it. In a ceremony with a fancy fountain pen. They have all the time they need now to do what it takes to get Kim to cough up all of his nukes.

On the other hand, time is working against Kim.

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said on Wednesday that the economic sanctions on North Korea will remain in place until after North Korea has denuclearized in a verifiable manner. In other words, assuming Kim cares about his economy and is in this for the money, Kim will want to reach a deal and implement it as quickly as possible.

Trump’s critics in the US ratcheted up their attacks against his summitry with Kim on Wednesday and Thursday. But everything they say just discredits them. Trump is only dealing with a nuclear armed North Korea because all of his predecessors enabled Pyongyang’s nuclear armament through feckless diplomacy. He’s only there to try a new approach because their old approach gave Kim the theoretical ability to nuke New York.

And now that he’s actually negotiating, it is clear that what they really fear is not that he will fail like they did. They fear that he will succeed, like only he – a loudmouthed real estate mogul and reality show star from Queens who couldn’t care less what they think of him and happened to write a book called The Art of the Deal – can do.

FBI and DOJ – Why Aren’t They Talking?

The individual, who was not named, was on the FBI’s radar on and off since 2013. Sources said he was likely in a military prison. Although the FBI “intermittently” intervened, Horowitz said that was insufficient. “We found that these efforts did not adequately mitigate the threat,” he wrote in the report, saying similar risks may exist with other homegrown violent extremists (HVEs). In the classified report, the DOJ recommended five ways the FBI could close the gaps to mitigate threats from extremists not held in DOJ facilities...

House Republicans are About to Make 

a Huge Mistake With Amnesty Vote

{ patriotnewsdaily.com } ~ His hand essentially forced by a cabal of traitorous Republicans who believe that the top priority for the party right now needs to be providing amnesty for Dreamers... House Speaker Paul Ryan announced Tuesday that he would bring two bills to the floor next week for full debate and voting. One of those bills will be a conservative, Trump-supported bill written by Rep. Bob Goodlatte that is almost certain to fail due to lack of Democrat support. The other will be an as-yet unwritten compromise bill that could include anything from full Dreamer citizenship to imaginary “border security” assurances that mean absolutely nothing. To be clear, it could have been worse. If moderate Republicans had succeeded in gathering enough signatures for their so-called “discharge petition,” Ryan would have been forced to bring four separate bills to the floor, one of which is a no-strings-attached path to citizenship for illegal immigrants who are both in the DACA program and potentially eligible for the program. So we can’t necessarily blame him for trying to find a way to avoid that disaster, and we don’t hold him fully at fault for the mistake Republicans might make next week. Still, the impending disaster could be enormous and, let’s face it, Ryan, who is retiring at the end of this term, doesn’t have any political calculations left to worry about. While we understand the urgency to get some immigration legislation passed, it seems to us that Republicans are fundamentally confused about which PART of it is actually urgent. The American people did not vote for Donald Trump by accident. And a vote for Trump was not, in any way, shape, or form, a vote for a continuation – nay, an EXPANSION – of Barack liar-nObama’s immigration policies. So it baffles us to see Republicans treating DACA legislation as the name of the game instead of what it is: A bargaining chip with which to lure Democrats over to our side of the fence. Then again, who’s really confused? Republicans…or us, who continue to believe that these elected representatives actually care about serving the American people?...

The AMA Moves Left on Guns and Suicide 

by Culture Beat:  The American Medical Association (AMA) recently waffled on two issues about which it has in the past largely maintained consistent positions. First, the AMA has refused to reaffirm its past opposition to physician-assisted suicide. “Rather than reaffirming its longstanding opposition to assisted suicide,” LifeNews reports, “the AMA has in effect sent it back to the Council for further study — opening the door to a change in position." This is a clear cave to the "death with dignity” advocates who have long sought support from the medical community to promote the practice as ethical, with the ultimate goal of seeing it legalized nationally. In the past, the AMA’s ethics panel’s rejection of the practice has been definitively clear, stating, “Physician-assisted suicide is fundamentally incompatible with the physician’s role as healer, would be difficult or impossible to control, and would pose serious societal risks.” And legalizing it leads to — surprise — more suicides.

             The second issue the AMA has waded into is gun control. Under pressure from gun-control activists, the AMA caved and endorsed a ban on so-called “assault weapons.” Outgoing AMA President David Barbe, who is a big advocate for gun control, stated, “The AMA must not back down from addressing gun violence.” Pointing out recent school attacks, Barbe further argued, “The fact that this problem continues to worsen has spurred a new sense of urgency in this house even while Congress fails to act.” AMA delegates also endorsed banning firearm possession for individuals under the age of 21.
               Here we have a clear example of two slippery slope issues on which the AMA has fallen for the emotional gambit rather than the rationally based facts. On the issue of physician-assisted suicide, the real ethical problem is two-fold. First, it puts a patient in a vulnerable position for risk of coercion, mistakes and even abuse (obviously with no opportunity for correction). Second, it has the potential to put a doctor on the hook legally speaking to perform a physician-assisted suicide even if they oppose the practice on ethical or religious grounds. Look no further than the controversy over providing services for same-sex weddings.
               Meanwhile, the AMA throwing its weight behind a ban on “assault weapons,” along with support for other limits to Americans’ Second Amendment rights, is a huge win for the anti-gun lobby. That’s especially true if the gun-grabbers can now make the argument that the AMA says guns are bad for one’s health. It’s this kind of weight that can move politicians and even public opinion, not based on any rational reasoning but simply based upon the academic status of a trusted organization.   ~The Patriot Post

The Inspector General’s Whitewash Of FBI Crimes

Mueller Attorney FIRED After Sending ‘ANTI-TRUMP’ Texts

Pulosi and scumbag-Corker — Which Side Are You On? 

by Mark Alexander:  Among those Beltway politicos who are most helpful to Republican midterm election prospects would be House Minority Leader Nancy Pulosi (D-CA).

             Responding to the latest greatest economic news about job creation and declining unemployment, Pulosi, who is doing everything she can to undermine the considerable economic achievements of the Trump administration, offered this spin: “Hip hip hurray, unemployment is down. What does that mean to me in my life? I need a bigger paycheck. … This isn’t just about the unemployment rate; it’s about wages rising in our country so that consumer confidence is restored.”
               As you recall, Pulosi insisted that Republican tax cuts would be “Armageddon” and then dismissed them as “crumbs.”
               For the record, headline unemployment dropped to 3.8%, the best since 2000. U-6 unemployment is at 7.6%, the lowest since 2001. Black unemployment hit a record low of 5.9%. Female unemployment is at 3.6%, the lowest since 1953.
               About wages and consumer confidence: Paychecks are growing at a record pace. Consumer confidence is at an 18-year high and small business optimism has been higher only one time since 1983.
               As for Pulosi’s comment, “I need a bigger paycheck,” she already draws almost $200,000 per year from taxpayers (on top of her enormous office budget), and Pulosi’s net worth is $29.35 million. But like most limo-liberals, abject hypocrisy is the most treasured character trait!
               While Pulosi’s comments help advance the conservative agenda, some Republicans just can’t get on board. One of those is my friend, scumbag-Bob Corker, a native to our hometown whom I have known for many years.
                scumbag-Bob started off strong in Congress, but with Donald Trump’s victory over liar-Hillary Clinton, he has repeatedly used his Senate standing as chairman of the Committee on Foreign Relations to malign Trump — and unfortunately, he’s also insulting grassroots Americans  across the nation.

He has yet to endorse Blackburn as his replacement, and by all appearances, is siding with her inept Democrat opponent, a washed-up former governor, Phil Bredesen.

 Before this is written, I will share with you about Biblical History of The Tribes Of Dan. In the Biblical account, Joseph is one of the two children of Rachel and Jacob, a brother to Benjamin, and father to both Ephraim, and his first son, Manasseh; Ephraim received the blessing of the firstborn, although Manasseh was the eldest, because Jacob foresaw that Ephraim's descendants. Tribe of Ephraim, are of The Tribes of Dan. They are the ones that moved across this earth and created countries, from Europe To America.

 When Europeans first glimpsed Native Americans more than 400 years ago, many were convinced they had discovered the Lost Tribes of Israel. At closer look, the connections are astounding. This hidden association has taken on greater importance recently as the two nations face similar threats, and perhaps even a common Messianic vision quest.

Unmistakable traces of Jewish prayer echo in the voice of Joseph Riverwind, the Amahura (war chief) of the Northern Arawak Nation, the indigenous peoples of South America and Caribbean, as he sings, “Shema, shema, nayena, popaska hoya yah”. He translated this ancient Native American song for Breaking Israel News:

“Listen, listen, people, as you gather together, we will dance before the creator.” This is strongly reminiscent of the Jewish prayer, Shema, which literally means ‘hear’.

These two worlds are embodied in Chief Riverwind, a descendant of both Native Americans and Bnei Anousim (Jews who hid their identity as a result of the Spanish Inquisition). For him, the connection between Native Americans and Judaism is clear.

“Among my people, our ancient name for God is Yah Yah ‘The Supreme Spirit of Spirits’, very similar to Yahweh,” Chief Riverwind explained.  “Among my wife’s ancestors, the AniKituwahYah (Cherokee), they called God YoHeWaH. And the similarities don’t stop there. They carried an ark into battle, celebrate seven feasts, kept a seventh day of rest, had cities of refuge, and don’t eat pork.”

Though the eerie etymological similarities may be coincidental, archetypal themes also connect the spirituality of Native Americans to the Bible. Chief Riverwind told a Choctaw story about how the Creator came to a man called Nuah and told him the world would be covered with water. The man was told to make a great raft to save mankind. The stories come from oral traditions which date to pre-Columbian times.

“Another Native American story tells of a time when the world was all one land mass, and we were all one tribe,” explained Chief Riverwind. “We tried to build a sky tower to the creator. These are pre-missionary oral traditions. They are passed down through specially trained storytellers who are forbidden from changing a single word.”

This transoceanic cultural connection goes against most scientific theories about the origins of the Native Americans. Most anthropologists theorize that the Native Americans are descended from Siberian Mongolians who migrated to North America via the Bering Strait, a 50-mile-wide gap that separates Alaska from Russia. Chief Riverwind told Breaking Israel News that the Native Americans tell a very different story.

“Some Anishnabi (Chippewa) believe they are from the Tribe of Ephraim,” Chief Riverwind explained. “Anishnabi” is amazing similar to the Hebrew words, “Anshe Navi” (people of the Prophet). “They lived on the coast, but their legends say that before that, they came from across the great waters. We have cave-drawings of these ships that are very similar to drawings of Phoenician ships in history books.”

This theory is astounding, but archaeological artifacts connecting North America to ancient Israel are not uncommon. The Decalogue Stone found in New Mexico is an 80-ton boulder on which an abridged version of the Ten Commandments is inscribed in ancient paleo-Hebrew.  A letter group resembling the tetragrammaton YHWH, or “Yahweh,” makes three appearances. The stone is controversial and has never been tested in a laboratory or dated by scientific means. If authentic, it would prove a pre-Columbian connection between North America and Israel.

The Newark Holy Stones are artifacts discovered in 1860 within a cluster of ancient Indian burial mounds near Newark, Ohio. The mounds are one of the largest collections from an ancient American Indian culture known as the Hopewell that existed from approximately 100 BCE to 500 CE. Similar to the Decalogue stone, the Newark Stones are inscribed with Bible verses in Hebrew.  

Many of these artifacts are discounted as hoaxes based on circumstantial evidence, the improbability of their existence and what it implies, despite strong corroborating empirical proof of their validity. Chief Riverwind attributes this simply to ethnocentric tendencies.

“European historians have always underestimated so much of what was going on here before Columbus,” he stated. “They simply can’t imagine men sailing from Israel to North America, even when they are holding the proof in their hands.”

Roni Segal, the academic adviser for eTeacher, an online language academy, was fascinated by the possible connection. “Paleo-Hebrew dates back to the tenth century BCE. The language itself is a key to many ancient mysteries,” she told Breaking Israel News. “Though these discoveries are surprising, when studying the language that was used by God to communicate with Man, these types of connections are not entirely unexpected.” Chief Riverwind feels this connection is especially important today.

“These are things we didn’t share in public before. Now, I really feel there is something stirring in the air. It isn’t by chance that the Native Americans are facing a huge propaganda campaign at the same time as the Jews in Israel are being told they aren’t indigenous,” he stated. “The Native Americans suffered ethnic cleansing and that is what they want to do to the Jews. We have that in common, and it is happening now.”

Many would be surprised to learn that the Native Americans also have a messianic vision. Despite being expressed in different terms, it is similar indeed to what Jews believe.

“First Nations have many prophecies that have been passed down for generations. We know that in the long ago time, the Creator destroyed the earth with water, and today, we are living in the generations when the fires will come to purify the Earth,” Chief Riverwind related.

“Your people’s ancient stories can be found among my peoples ancient stories and we share the same destiny. Many of us have called upon the same Elohim since ancient times, and in the End, all the tribes that have been scattered will be gathered together once again.”

 The concept of a Judeo-Christian tradition flows from the Christian theology of supersession, whereby the Christian with God and Christ’s Covenant or Testament with God Word to supersedes the Jewish one. Christianity, according to this belief, reforms and replaces Judaism.

Manafort ordered to jail, bail revoked

Kuwait and Oman Are Stuck in Arab No Man’s Land

Observers widely thought the diplomatic spat would be patched up within a few months. After all, this was hardly the first time Qatar and its Gulf neighbors had squabbled. But a year later, no end remains in sight. Qatar has adjusted remarkably well to the quartet’s punitive measures, while Saudi Arabia and the UAE are happy to let the blockade continue, because it comes at no cost to them. The true losers in this crisis are the traditionally neutral Gulf states of Kuwait and Oman, which have been caught in the middle. Kuwait and Oman carry less weight economically and geopolitically than their behemoth neighbors. They gain the most from the protective umbrella of the Gulf Cooperation Council, which is now unraveling. It’s in their interests to work to save the GCC, but they have been thrust into untenable positions. Kuwait, a bad actor on the terror finance front in its own right, is forced to play the role of mediating neutral party for a crisis in which both sides are unyielding. Cash-strapped Oman is trying to walk a tightrope by remaining officially neutral, but all the while capitalizing on Qatar’s isolation to deepen economic links with it — which earns the sultanate the ire of Saudi Arabia and the UAE...

Amnesty vs. America First 

by Arnold Ahlert:  Last Sunday night at the Tony Awards show, actor Robert De Niro spewed out one of the principal Democrat Party planks for the 2018 midterm elections. Two others are their intent to raise taxes and [impeach] President Donald Trump for some yet-to-be-discovered offense. One might think this toxic combination would spell doom for a party whose once-vaunted “blue wave” had actually flipped in favor of the GOP. Unfortunately, Republicans aren’t called the “Stupid Party” for no reason. In a push utterly antithetical to conservative voters, the GOP will bring a couple of bills to the House floor for a vote next week — and amnesty and a pathway to citizenship for Dreamers is part of the agenda.

             Columnist Chris Pandolfo reveals exactly where Republicans stand on the issue. “Aside from a handful of stalwart holdouts, most of the Republican Party in Congress agrees that amnesty with citizenship will happen for DACA recipients,” he explains. “The split between moderates and conservatives seems to hang on whether an immigration compromise contains a ‘special pathway.’ Conservatives want to treat DACA recipients like normal immigrants, permitting them to use the current law to obtain citizenship, while moderates want to fast-track citizenship for them.”
               What makes the latter different from what Democrats want is anyone’s guess.
               Moreover, the GOP’s refusal to distinguish themselves from Democrats should surprise no one. The party that should be offering Americans a wholly different agenda is the one that made 2014 election promises to thwart Barack liar-nObama’s socialist and unconstitutional agenda — including his executive order on DACA — and then broke them. The 50-plus times the GOP-controlled House voted to repeal liar-nObamaCare, knowing liar-nObama could veto any attempt to do so, was also revealed as a fraudulent effort by their failure to kill it when they had complete control of Congress and the presidency. So was their promise to defund Planned Parenthood. And their passage of a massive, debt-filled omnibus bill revealed their assertions that they’re the party of fiscal responsibility are absurd.
               “This is a difficult issue,” House Speaker Paul Ryan told  reporters a week ago, following efforts to contain those in favor of a “discharge petition” that would have forced the House to engage in a floor vote on series of immigration bills. “We’re trying to figure out what the sweet spot is.”
               That petition, based on a “queen of the hill” rule would have set up votes on four immigration measures, with the one receiving the most votes above a simple majority prevailing. It was being pushed by the aforementioned moderate Republicans and was designed to bypass House leadership. Ryan managed to maneuver past it, but the House will bring a pair of immigration bills to the floor for a vote next week to “resolve the border security and immigration issues,” stated Ryan spokesperson AshLee Strong in an email.
               Nonetheless, those moderate Republicans remain  committed to working with Democrats, and amnesty coupled with a pathway to citizenship remains their primary objective.
               Why? “The latest push for an amnesty is being driven by business groups who oppose the modest wage raises that are happening in President Donald Trump’s high-pressure economy, which is forcing companies to bid up workers’ wages in a tight labor market,” reveals columnist Neil Munro.
               They are being led by the pro-amnesty billionaire Koch Brothers who are spending more than a million dollars in national television and digital ads pushing amnesty, despite its unpopularity among Republican voters. “Elected officials must stop thinking about this as a campaign issue,” insisted James Davis, president of the Koch Network’s PR firm. “This is an avoidable crisis; we’re only here because of Washington’s failure to act.”
               Davis is right in one respect. Immigration, both legal and illegal, is far more than a campaign issue. It is the ultimate dividing line between elitists who believe the nation-state is an anachronistic concept, and ordinary Americans who have borne the ravages of porous borders and decades of wage stagnation. Between those who champion sanctuary cities and a host of benefits like drivers’ licenses, in-state college tuition and health care benefits for illegal aliens, and those who believe in the Rule of Law and an end to illegal immigration, chain migration and anchor babies. It is between elitists who reap the “net plus” of a world economy, while the net minuses accrue in hollowed out American cities and towns in the middle of a nation the bicoastal elitists dismiss as “flyover country.”
               Tragically — and quite revealingly — less than half of one political party stands up for those ordinary Americans.
               “As Democrats have moved increasingly in the direction of an amnesty-only approach to illegal immigration, Republicans at the federal and state level have succeeded by promising voters real immigration enforcement,” columnist Ira Mehlman explains. “Running on that platform, Republicans captured both houses of Congress and the White House in 2016.”
               So why would they do a complete flip-flop and reward wholesale lawbreaking in 2018? There are two possible reasons. One is rank cynicism. When the choice in the midterms is between a socialist/Marxist Democrat Party that embraces overt hatred and hysteria as a political platform, and a Chamber of Commerce-beholden Republican Party that embraces rank hypocrisy and the routine betrayal of its core constituency, the lesser of two evils remains in play.
               The other possibility is far more chilling. It is quite possible that Democrats and Republicans showcase their differences solely for public consumption, and that America is run by a Ruling Class managing a singular, public-be-damned globalist agenda. Such a possibility goes a long way toward explaining why we have ever-increasing levels of debt, an increasingly amoral culture, a increasingly two-tiered “justice” system — and the ongoing march toward amnesty — regardless of which party controls Congress and the presidency.
               Where is the wall? Where is merit-based immigration? Where is E-verify? If they exist in any incarnation in the bills Republicans bring to the House floor next week, it is quite likely they’ll either be at the back of the line behind amnesty and a “pathway to citizenship,” or watered down to the point of virtual impotency — despite the fact that every poll showing Americans favor amnesty only if such requirements and other are met.
               Donald Trump was elected largely on his immigration agenda, which was many things. But first and foremost, it was a repudiation of a globalist status quo that dismissed anyone who stood against it as a “populist” — along with the subliminal message that such populism was akin to Nazism. It was a repudiation of the idea that Americans are just another nation of people in a world full of them, no more or less exceptional (and just as expendable) as any other — making it wholly unnecessary to address their needs above and before anyone else’s.
               And just as much as anything else, it was a repudiation of the insufferable political correctness used like a club to keep the burgeoning discontent in check.
               Ryan claims Trump backs a compromise immigration plan. So do a lot of Americans. But if rock-solid enforcement of the law and air-tight border security aren’t the primary parts of any plan, it is highly unlikely our “America First” president will eviscerate his own agenda. In a word, that would be “deplorable.”   ~The Patriot Post

The Media Enemies of Liberty

Wednesday, Trump declared, “So funny to watch the Fake News, especially NBC and CNN. They are fighting hard to downplay the deal with North Korea. 500 days ago they would have ‘begged’ for this deal — looked like war would break out. Our Country’s biggest enemy is the Fake News so easily promulgated by fools!”

             CNN host Wolf Blitzer protested quite a lot. “It’s one thing not to like the media,” he complained. “Everybody’s always criticizing us and not happy with our coverage. … But it’s another thing to say, ‘It’s not North Korea, it’s not Iran, it’s not Russia, it’s not China; it’s journalists … who are the enemy of the American people.’”
               Worse, Blitzer whined, “A lot of his supporters believe that we are ‘the enemy of the American people.’ And that is really, really an awful situation. We are not the enemy of the American people. We love the American people.” CNN has a funny way of showing it.

Explosion in east Jerusalem caused by bomb-making attempt

The Left's Catch-All Strategy to Redefine Issues  

by Culture Beat:  When The New York Times and The New Yorker first published stories last year exposing the long-running sexual predation and abuse of women within the movie industry by powerful Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein, few would have predicted at the time that a new movement had been birthed. Suddenly, stories about other well-connected men in positions of power within the entertainment, news media and political industries began to hit the headlines on an almost weekly basis. Women who had experienced varying degrees of sexual manipulation and abuse suddenly found an eager media willing to shine the light on a long-protected class of individuals. The movement was quickly dubbed #MeToo, with the message being that, finally, women who had not been believed now had the ear of the entire country to tell their stories without the fear of being ignored.

             But it wasn’t long before the original idea behind #MeToo was warped into a broader pro-feminist message decrying the supposed western patriarchy. In other words, to question the feminist assertion of the gender pay gap, for instance, is now to be interpreted in light of #MeToo — it’s indicative of the problem of men oppressing women. It’s a sneaky broadening and redefining of the movement’s original intent.
               How about the term “racism?” Here is yet another example of the Left taking a well-understood and defined term, which meant the prejudicial judgment of individuals based solely upon their race or ethnicity, and turning it into a term that conflates the neo-Marxist ideology of class warfare with race. For example, the new definition of racism preaches that the denial of the concept of “white privilege” is indicative of someone harboring racist sentiments. Or, on the flip side, that only members of the majority race and culture can truly be racist.
               They’ve done it with global warming, too. Once upon a time, that meant that the planet was getting warmer and government must step in to regulate a solution. Now, the all-purpose term “climate change” has expanded the debate to encompass any and all weather events and, of course, the need for government to do even more to limit our Liberty. In this, too, there are victims and oppressors.
               Why this constant grievance culture promoted by the Left? Why are they expressly looking for new ways to redefine various groups of the oppressed and oppressors? Well, for leftists, the revolution is never over. So long as there are instances of inequality, then there can be no “justice.” And the means of judging whether or not something is justice is based not upon the standard of equal opportunity and freedom of the individual but upon that flawed neo-Marxist paradigm of equality of outcome. It’s not an ethic born out of genuine concern for justice for the individual but out of communal sensitivities that sacrifice the rights and freedom of the individual for the sake of group identity. UN General Assembly condemns Israel 

for ‘excessive’ force at Gaza border

{ timesofisrael.com } ~ With a huge majority, the United Nations General Assembly on Wednesday passed a resolution condemning Israel for using “excessive, disproportionate and indiscriminate” force... during the recent clashes at the Gaza border and calling for an “international protection mechanism” for Palestinian civilians. The dramatic, down to the wire session saw the United States attempt to add a paragraph condemning Hamas, which was ultimately rejected on procedural grounds though most member states supported it. The resolution, proposed by Algeria and Turkey, then passed with 120 “yes” votes, 8 “no” votes and 45 abstentions. The eight countries that voted against the resolution were the US, Israel, Australia, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Nauru, Togo and the Solomon Islands. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in a statement issued before the actual voting took place, condemned the resolution, entitled “Protection of the Palestinian civilian population.”...The United States needs to remove UN from the USA.

New Jersey Governor Murphy Assaults Second Amendment

On Wednesday, New Jersey Democratic Governor Phil Murphy signed a total of six gun-control bills into law. The legislations are:

• A-1181 — Requires the seizure of firearms belonging to people that mental health professionals have determined pose a “threat” to either themselves or others.

• A-1217 — Officially, the “Extreme Risk Protective Order Act of 2018,” allows for a temporary court order prohibiting a person that the courts determine to be a “threat” or significant danger to either themselves or others from possessing or purchasing a firearm.

• A-2757 — Requires background checks for all private purchases of firearms.

• A-2758 — Codifies regulations defining “justifiable need” in order to obtain a legal handgun carry permit.

• A-2759 — Prohibits individuals from possessing ammunition capable of penetrating body armor.

• A-2761 — Lowers the maximum capacity of magazine ammunition from 15 to 10 rounds for all firearms, except for firearms with .22-caliber magazines...

The Dems’ Supreme Threat

{ spectator.org } ~ It hasn’t really been discussed in great detail by the legacy media, but there is a major Supreme Court decision coming practically any day now... which has the potential to change American politics substantially for the foreseeable future. The case is Janus v. AFSCME, a case out of Illinois. The facts of the case are relatively simple: Mark Janus, a child support specialist working for the state of Illinois, objected to being forced to pay dues to a union — in this case the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees — in order to keep his job. In Illinois there is a law which says that as a state worker, even if you don’t want to join a union, you’re required to pay the union a fee for services it provides to people in your workplace like collective bargaining and so on. Which sounds fine, except that the unions use a very large portion of those fees on political donations, and specifically political donations to Democrats. And that’s something you might find a little obnoxious if you yourself are not a Democrat. Janus’ complaint is that those forced union fees constitute a violation of his freedom of speech. And any day now, it’s expected that the Supreme Court is going to agree with him in a 5-4 decision. A similar case two years ago, after Justice Antonin Scalia passed away and before his replacement Neil Gorsuch joined the Court, was split on a 4-4 vote...The question should be asked why are they giving money away when the union can benefit their union members.

{ sultanknish.blogspot.com } ~ On a pleasant Wednesday in Schiedam, a Dutch city near Rotterdam’s sizable Islamic population, a 26-year-old Syrian refugee stood on a balcony waving an axe and shouting, “Allahu Akbar.”

The police arrived at the modernistic dark and gray building, limned in steel and glass, where the nameless Syrian was shouting about the supremacy of his religion and its axe to all others in Schiedam.

The Dutch cops tried to calm him down. Instead he attacked a police dog which later died of its injuries. After some failed attempts at negotiating his surrender, the Syrian was shot in the leg. Paramedics loaded him into one of two yellow ambulances dispatched for the occasion and maneuvering past a police Volvo took him off to be an even bigger burden on the taxpayers of the Netherlands.

Even before murdering a police dog, the Syrian refugee had been in contact with various aid agencies. By the time he’s done being treated, evaluated, counseled, tried, defended, prosecuted and judged, he will have cost the Netherlands enough money to feed an entire Syrian city for a day.

"It is certain that he had no religious motives," Mayor Lamers insisted. "The most important thing is that he first receives the right care, that also applies to his father. As soon as he is recovered, there will probably be a long-term admission to a clinic."

Make that two Syrian cities for a week.

But the most important thing isn’t stopping Allahu akbaring axmen. It’s seeing they get the right care.

"Honesty requires saying that there are more disturbed people walking around in Schiedam," the politician added. "That is why it is good that there is discussion at national level."

There’s a discussion. Just not the right one.

In May, Malek, a Syrian refugee, stabbed three people in The Hague while shouting, “Allahu Akbar.” 

The attack happened on Liberation Day when the country commemorates its liberation from murderous thugs who shouted, “Heil Hitler” and celebrates its new occupation by murderous thugs who shout, “Allahu Akbar.” 

The Syrian had previously thanked the Dutch people for their hospitality by shouting, “Allahu Akbar,” and throwing pieces of furniture out of the window of his apartment and into the street. 

For months, he had terrorized his neighbors with loud Arabic music, “Allahu Akbar” cries and disturbing behavior. The police finally showed up, accompanied by police dogs and riot shields, and he was institutionalized. He was there for six weeks, married another patient, and was back on the street even though while in the hospital, the police had received a tip that he was planning a terrorist attack. 

On the loose, Malek cut a man’s throat. He also stabbed two others. 

Police shot him in the leg, ruled out terrorism and blamed mental illness. His family is suing the hospital because Dutch taxpayers haven’t paid enough blood money yet. 

In December of last year, Saleh Ali, a Syrian refugee wearing a keffiyah and waving a terrorist PLO flag, went up to a Jewish restaurant in Amsterdam, shouted “Allahu Akbar” and began smashing the windows. The police stood by and watched until he was done. And then they arrested him. 

Ali admitted to having fought with Jihadists in Syria. So the system decided that he needed a psychiatric evaluation because in the Netherlands, and the rest of Europe, smashing things while shouting, “Allahu Akbar” means that you need to spend some time in a white room talking about your mommy.

All three Syrian Muslim refugees had a habit of shouting, “Allahu Akbar” while doing threatening things in public. All three escalated their habits to violent attacks with weapons. Their violence, anger and threats were treated as signs of mental instability rather than religious fervor. But that may be because the former Calvinist stronghold has become an irreligious society incapable of understanding religion. 

Less than a third of the Dutch believe in anything. Only 25% identify as Christian. 5% as Muslim. Only 13% of Catholics believe in the basic elements of Christianity. So the numbers are even smaller. 

The vast majority of the younger native population has no concept of religion. So is it any wonder that the “Allahu Akbar” violence of Muslim migrants is met with incomprehension and psychiatry? 

The Dutch were once on the front lines of religious wars. They still are today. But the difference is that much of the country no longer recognizes or understands religion. 

Recent research claims that 40% of the Syrian refugees in the Netherlands are suffering from mental problems. 

Among Dutch people, it tops out at 14%. 

Are 40% of Syrian refugees really disturbed or verward, the Dutch term that loosely translates as confused? Or are Europeans unable to process behavior and values different from their own? 

In Europe, brandishing an axe while shouting at the entire street would be a sign of mental illness. So would smashing restaurant windows or tossing furniture out of the window into the street. 

But Syria isn’t the Netherlands. And the Middle East isn’t Europe. 

Public displays of anger and violence are much less aberrant in the Middle East. The values of the burghers of Rotterdam are not those of a Syrian man in his twenties. Nor is their scrupulous lack of conviction in anything more than civility and good behavior a match for his religious convictions. 

His cry of, “Allahu Akbar” is not mad, but a threat. He may be a penniless refugee here, but his religion is greater than theirs. And will subsume the tidy precincts of Schiedam, The Hague and Amsterdam. 

Integration is not an option. But disintegration is. 

78% of Syrians are unemployed and don’t intend to leave. The Dutch government solution is to improve mental health services at refugee centers. That raises the question of just who’s really crazy here? 

Meanwhile in another experiment, Syrian refugees are being housed in empty prisons. At least until they commit enough crimes to be sent to an actual prison. Instead of more psychiatric evaluations. 

Dutch voters have made it very clear that they don’t want more migrants. And relatively few asylum petitions are being approved. But that just means that Dutch cities are filling up with failed asylum seekers who can’t be deported, who will no longer be subsidized and are ticking time bombs.

If they want to stay, all they have to do is commit a crime and land in one of the famously cushy prisons. 

The Netherlands boasts what its defenders call an innovative mental health system. And in its prisons, the inmates are getting keys to their own cells. 

Again, who’s crazy here? 

Given a choice between having to get a job or shouting, “Allahu Akbar” before taking an axe to a police officer, who is under orders to aim at the feet in the extreme scenario that he has to use his weapon, it’s an easy choice. And more of those Syrian refugees, who won’t be integrating, are making it. 

Is it terrorism? Is it gaming the system? Why can’t it be both? 

Islamic terrorists have shown a real talent for gaming the system. And gaming the system, like terrorism, is just finding chinks in the armor to exploit. Welfare fraud and suicide bombing are different sides of the same coin. And in Europe, Jihadists have been known to finance their plots with dole money. 

Just don’t call it crazy. When 40% of a population group is deemed loopy, that’s not crazy, it’s the new normal.

The bad news on entitlements piles up

{ aei.org } ~ The trustees for the Social Security and Medicare trust funds released their annual reports last week... And the takeaway? Despite a strong economy, both programs have large and growing financial deficits. Unfortunately, the gap between spending and revenue for these programs is likely even larger than the official projections show because of assumed but unrealistic cuts in medical care payment rates and the persistently low birth rates of recent years. The Social Security report estimates the program will run out of reserves in 2034, after which benefits would have to be reduced by about 25 percent to keep spending within available annual revenue. Over 75 years, Social Security has an unfunded liability of $13.2 trillion. Restoring permanent solvency to the program would require raising the payroll tax rate immediately from today’s combined employer-employee rate of 12.4 percent of taxable payroll to 15.2 percent. Alternatively, Social Security benefits would need to be cut on a permanent basis by about 17 percent. The financial hole for Medicare is even deeper. The Medicare hospital insurance trust fund will run out of reserves in 2026. Last year, the trustees expected the program’s reserves to last until 2029. Medicare has a second trust fund, for physician and outpatient services and for prescription drugs, that is permanently “solvent” because it has an unlimited tap on the general fund of the Treasury...

Trump Crackdown on Illegals May Force Dems' Hand 

by Louis DeBroux:  Starting around January 2017, America saw a massive drop in illegal border crossings, primarily due to candidate Donald Trump’s tough rhetoric discouraging it, but also due to increased border enforcement.

             However, in recent months, illegal border crossings are on the rise. As reported by The Washington Post, “U.S. border agents made more than 50,000 arrests in May for the third month in a row.” The anti-Trump paper then informs us that’s “an indication that escalating enforcement tactics by the Trump administration … [have] not had an immediate deterrent effect.”
               However, it takes no leap of logic to discern this increase is due in no small part to efforts by Democrats to undermine America’s immigration laws and national security. Democrat-run cities claim “sanctuary city” status, actively undermining federal immigration law to the detriment of the safety and security of American citizens. Prospective immigrants know they only need to get to one of those cities.
               Look no further than a recent video of the mayor of Philadelphia literally dancing a jigin celebration of a federal court ruling preventing the Trump administration from withholding grants to the city due to its protection of illegal aliens. One can assume the families of Philadelphians killed, raped or assaulted by illegal aliens in the city were less celebratory.
               The Trump administration has shown its determination to secure the border and crack down on illegal aliens. That’s good news when 90% of those arrested for crimes already have criminal convictions. While Democrats have managed thus far to thwart efforts to build a border wall, President Trump is making full use of his executive powers in other areas.
               In a recent interview, Attorney General Jeff Sessions responded to a report on illegal alien crime statistics by arguing, “The illegal immigrant crime rate in this country should be zero. Every crime committed by an illegal alien is, by definition, a crime that should have been prevented. It is outrageous that tens of thousands of Americans are dying every year because of the drugs and violence brought over our borders illegally and that taxpayers have been forced, year after year, to pay millions of dollars to incarcerate tens of thousands of illegal aliens. … Today’s report is yet another reminder that we must continue this [zero tolerance] policy and help fulfill President Trump’s goals of restoring lawfulness to our immigration system and ensure that immigration serves the good of this country.”
               AG Sessions has announced a renewed push to shut down the flow of illegal aliens on multiple fronts.
               One is a narrowing of the criteria under which an alien can qualify for asylum. In a 31-page document issued Monday, Sessions declared, “Generally, claims by aliens pertaining to domestic violence or gang violence perpetrated by non-governmental actors will not qualify for asylum.” He further noted, “The mere fact that a country may have problems effectively policing certain crimes — such as domestic violence or gang violence — or that certain populations are more likely to be victims of crime, cannot itself establish an asylum claim.” Asylum is still possible under these circumstances, but it’s not guaranteed.
               While Democrats decry this as a draconian action, the addition of domestic and gang violence as qualifying asylum criteria is new, only added in 2014.
               Democrats were embarrassed recently when a tweet by former Barack liar-nObama speechwriter Jon Favreau went viral, then backfired. The post showed pictures of illegal alien children sleeping in an ICE detention cell. Favreau blasted the practice of separating children from parents, blaming Trump. As it turns out, the picture was from 2014, during the liar-nObama presidency.
               Sessions addressed this issue specifically, noting that if parents do not want to be separated from their children, they should not attempt to cross the border illegally, and if they do attempt it, then the blame lies with the parents, not the U.S. government, which has a right to protect its territorial sovereignty and its citizens.
               Sessions declared, “If you cross the border unlawfully … we will prosecute you. … If you smuggle an illegal alien across the border, then we’ll prosecute you. … If you’re smuggling a child, then we’re going to prosecute you, and that child will be separated from you, probably, as required by law. If you don’t want your child separated, then don’t bring them across the border illegally.” Whatever one thinks of this policy, Sessions clearly intends to deter people from attempting illegal crossings in the first place.
               The Trump Justice Department has also announced a crackdown on visa overstayers, who make up nearly half of all illegals in the U.S., and those who gained U.S. citizenship by fraudulent means.
               Lamentations by Democrats are cynical and duplicitous. Democrats, at least among leadership, care little about the plight of minority aliens beyond their usefulness as a political wedge issue to damage Republicans.
               This was evident from the fact they did nothing on the issue in 2009 and 2010 when they had supermajorities in the House and Senate. It was also evident this year when President Trump offered amnesty for three times as many aliens as had qualified under liar-nObama’s unconstitutional DACA program, in exchange for securing the border and ending chain migration and the visa lottery. Democrats refused. It was evident when Democrats shockingly defended the brutal, murderous Central American gang MS-13, which Trump called “animals.”
               While Sessions has been the hard-liner and Trump firm but willing to negotiate, this may be a bit of good cop/bad cop. Democrats are recalcitrant when it comes to securing the border and protecting American citizens, but with significant new pressure brought to bear by Sessions, Democrats may be forced to come to the table.   ~The Patriot Post

{ townhall.com } ~ The Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program could come to an end if the Trump administration is successful... in what appears to be a secondary protocol for how to deal with an executive order that is arguably unconstitutional. Executed under the liar-nObama White House, DACA shields illegal aliens brought over as children who have met a certain criteria i.e. no criminal record from deportation. There is a separation of powers concern. It’s been on shaky legal footing for quite some time, which is why the Trump White House had a six-month enforcement delay when they announced they would be phasing out the program. Cue the Democratic outrage, but that six-month lull period was meant to give Congress time to get their act together and pass a DACA fix. They fumbled that. The Trump administration felt they couldn’t argue in defense of the law due to the constitutional issues and facing a lawsuit from various state attorneys general, they felt this was their best option—and it probably was. Yet, it’s still an issue that paralyzes the Hill. The Democrats shut down the government over it, a federal judge said they have to keep DACA a functioning program, and now we have two bills from the conservative and moderate wings that are set for a vote next week. Neither is expected to pass. Mandates to Save a Dying Healthcare System

Just days after Vermont signed its individual mandate into law, New Jersey followed suit. The two states now join Massachusetts, which has had a similar mandate in place for years. The laws prove that the federal government is not the only government capable of overreach. Vermont's law, signed by Republican Governor Phil Scott late last month, creates a commission to work out the details of the law, but one thing is certain: Residents will be required to have health insurance or face a penalty. The mandate is scheduled to go into effect on January 1, 2020. Supporters of the bill resorted to the same talking points used to advocate the individual mandate. Snopes Deceives Again With CA Water Rationing 'Fact-Check' 

by Jordan Candler:  California is home to 40 million residents. This enormous population is the partial underlying of a big problem: The state needs water. So much so that Democrat Gov. Jerry Brown has implemented measures to significantly curb water usage. But a large population is only the half of it. Despite periodic droughts and an influx of residents (legal and illegal), California has rejected policies that would alleviate its water needs.

             In 2015, historian and California native Victor Davis Hanson noted, “It is ironic to encourage millions of newcomers to settle in the state without first making commensurately liberal investments for them in water supplies and infrastructure. Sharp rises in population still would not have mattered much had state authorities just followed their forbearers’ advice to continually increase water storage.” Furthermore, he wrote, “They would never have envisioned in a state of 40 million using the reservoirs in a drought to release water year-round for environmental objectives such as aiding the delta smelt or reintroducing salmon in the San Joaquin River watershed.”
               Now the chickens are coming home to roost, and California residents are the ones suffering. Thanks to Gov. Brown, “There is a daily per-person 55-gallon limit ratcheting down to 50 gallons over the course of a decade, fines will be imposed upon violation, and, for at least some users, a reasonable-length shower and running the wash will put them over,” Inez Feltscher Stepman reports.
               These limitations would have the effect of making showering and doing laundry on the same day unattainable for some people — an observation that elicited false rebuttals from the usual suspects, including from the “fact-checker” website Snopes, which stated: “The laws do not render it illegal for Californians to do laundry and take showers on the same day.” Well, duh. The law doesn’t explicitly prohibit showers and laundry, but in some cases that will be the inevitable outcome.
               Snopes is conflating literal vs. figurative language here just like it did when it asserted that a California pro-LGBT assembly bill “does not seek to outlaw all religious or moral instruction regarding sexuality and sexual orientation, nor would it ban the sale or possession of generic religious texts such as the Bible.” Memo to Snopes: Read between the lines. Now... as other students streamed to class one April morning at William Wirt Middle School in Riverdale, Md., the two teens squared off in the third-story bathroom — a fight captured by another student on his cellphone. His opponent ducked and tackled the 15-year-old, their sneakers squealing as they tumbled to the green tile floor. “That look like it hurt,” someone wrote under the video, which was uploaded to Instagram on April 19 and has been viewed more than 400 times. Gang-related fights are now a near-daily occurrence at Wirt, where a small group of suspected MS-13 members at the overwhelmingly Hispanic school in Prince George’s County throw gang signs, sell drugs, draw gang graffiti and aggressively recruit students recently arrived from Central America, according to more than two dozen teachers, parents and students. The ACLU Officially Becomes a Partisan Group

Anthony Romero, the group’s executive director, told me, “It used to be that, when I had a referendum I really cared about, I could spend fifty thousand dollars.”  That's what happens when you're no longer a civil rights group, but a way for San Francisco tech tycoons to funnel money to their favorite candidates. In 2013, during the comparative quiet of the late liar-nObama years, Romero had commissioned a study of how the National Rifle Association—another organization built around a specific view of a section of the Bill of Rights—has managed to operate so effectively as a public-advocacy organization. “The big takeaway for me from that study was that they were able to talk about their work not in legalistic policy terms,” Romero said. “On their Web site you won’t find anything about the Second Amendment. Riots In Jordan Put Gulf States On Edge

On Sunday, the three nations led by Riyadh pledged to provide Jordan with a cash infusion of $2.5 billion to help the arid kingdom prop up its free-falling economy. Separately, the European Union announced that it would provide Jordan with $23.5 million. The hefty Gulf State bailout is testament to how seriously they view the problem. Jordan has recently experienced a spasm of popular unrest and widespread demonstrations, sparked by tax increases and painful austerity measures implemented by King Abdullah II’s prime minister, Hani Mulki, to deal with growing debt. In 2016, cash-strapped Jordan secured a $723-million loan from the International Monetary Fund. The economic reforms instituted by PM Mulki were tied to this loan but proved to be widely unpopular. Jordanians watched as subsidies on basic food items were eliminated and standards of living declined while taxes increased. Paychecks got smaller while everything became more expensive. This was enough to push Jordanians over the edge. As the riots spread to every province and major town, Abdullah moved quickly to quell the unrest by firing his prime minister and reversing previously implemented tax hikes and austerity measures...

Seattle's Redistribution Scheme Reversed 

by Nate Jackson:  In May, the Seattle City Council class warriors unanimously enacted a head tax — a $275 penalty for each full-time employee of a company earning annual revenue of at least $20 million. Yet in the face of stiff opposition, the council reversed course Tuesday, dropping the tax in a 7-2 vote.

             Some 600 Seattle employers would have been hit by the tax, which was supposed to fund income redistribution to address the city’s homeless crisis. Amazon and Starbucks led the charge to oppose it because, obviously, the tax would destroy jobs. (It’s worth noting that homeless people are generally jobless.) Amazon even halted construction on a new office tower in downtown Seattle. While Amazon’s billionaire chief, Jeff Bezos, is no friend of Liberty, he got this one right — even if he is a hypocrite. The final straw was likely Monday’s announcement that a business-supported group called No Tax on Jobs had already gained enough signatures to challenge the tax on the November ballot.
               Kshama Sawant, the socialist council member who pushed the tax in the first place, lamented, “I have a news flash for council members who capitulated to this in lightning speed: This was never going to be easy in the face of mass corporate misinformation. It’s a complete betrayal of working people.” Actually, the real economic fact is that repeal will save a lot of Seattle jobs.
               Mayor Jenny Durkan and the members of the council who reversed course didn’t exactly admit they were wrong, though. “It is clear that the ordinance will lead to a prolonged, expensive political fight over the next five months that will do nothing to tackle our urgent housing and homelessness crisis,” their statement said. “We heard you … [and will] repeal the current tax on large businesses to address the homelessness crisis.”
               In other words, you selfish jerks are ruining our redistribution scheme. But don’t worry; Seattle’s socialists will come up with another plan to confiscate money.   ~The Patriot Post
