A U.S. Navy ship fired warning shots at an Iranian ship in the Persian Gulf on Tuesday, U.S. defense officials confirmed to Fox News.
The U.S. Navy coastal patrol ship fired warning shots from its .50-caliber machine gun at an Iranian patrol boat when it came within 150 yards of the ship in the Persian Gulf, according to two U.S. defense officials.
The Iranian ship ignored repeated radio calls from the USS Thunderbolt, which also launched flares to warn the fast approaching Iranian ship, officials said.
The incident happened Tuesday as a formation of U.S. Navy warships was doing an exercise in the Northern Persian Gulf.
It’s the first time since January a U.S. Navy warship has fired warning shots at an Iranian vessel which approached too close.

The story is a fascinating expose of mishandling confidential information, massive cybersecurity breaches, and the bizarre exchange of millions of dollars to Pakistanis while sensitive Congressional data was transferred to unsecured servers. One of the Pakistanis, who had amassed some $4 million from Wasserman Schultz since 2010, Imran Awan, tried to flee the country on Tuesday, was caught by the FBI and is now a central figure in the probe. The intrigue continues as the story unfolds. In May, it was reported that a laptop used by Imran was hidden in an unused crevice of the Rayburn House Office Building, found by Capitol Police and seized for use in the criminal investigation against Imran. Wasserman Schultz reportedly threatened Capitol Police with "consequences" if they didn't return the laptop she said was owned by her and used by Imran. Imran's attorney is playing the Muslim card, saying that his arrest is clearly a right-wing media-driven prosecution by the US Attorney's office against a Muslim worker. Aside from the Islamic smoke and mirrors, the real story is what was Wasserman Schultz and Imran doing with the information and who was the money paid to? At a time when the Democrats are opining every day about Russian influence in the US election, what ever happened to those classified documents that Hillary Clinton gave up in her closet email server? Who got the emails? Was it the Russians? Was Wasserman Schultz, who was also a Clinton comrade and supporter, involved in some money laundering scheme with Islamic actors? How much taxpayer money was used to influence the election on behalf of Clinton and the Democratic Party? What about the Russian donations to the Clinton Foundation after the Russian uranium deal? Who is really involved in peddling influence with America's enemies? These are all questions that should be asked. Wasserman Schultz had to resign as Democratic Party Chairman because leaked emails showed her part in a conspiracy to undermine socialist Democratic Presidential Candidate Bernie Sanders' campaign. Florida GOP Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s right-hand information technology (IT) aide was arrested attempting to leave the country just a few hours after The Daily Caller News Foundation’s Investigative Group revealed that he is the target of an FBI investigation.
Imran Awan, a Pakistani-born IT aide, had access to all emails and files of dozens of members of Congress, as well as the password to the iPad that Wasserman Schultz used for Democratic National Committee business before she resigned as its head in July 2016. He was apprehended while attempting to flee the U.S., according to Fox News.
Soon after Imran began working for Wasserman Schultz in 2005, four of his relatives appeared on the payroll of other Democrats — many from Wasserman Schultz’s home state of Florida — at inflated salaries, but Democratic staffers said they were rarely seen at work. They collected $4 million in total.
House authorities told members in February that Awan and his relatives were suspects in a criminal investigation into theft and IT abuses, and they were banned from the Capitol network.
Wasserman Schultz refused to fire Awan, despite being the suspect in a hacking probe, and has blocked Capitol Police from searching a laptop they confiscated because it was tied to Awan.
TheDCNF reported Sunday night that the FBI had joined the investigation and seized smashed hard drives from Awan’s home.
His stepmother filed court documents accusing him of wiretapping and extorting her (see p. 23 of court documents in that case), but Democratic members of Congress, including Rep. Gregory Meeks of New York, suggested that police had framed the Pakistani-born brothers out of Islamophobia.
Wasserman Schultz’s spokesman, David Damron, did not immediately return a request for comment.

New Report Shows Increase in ‘Religious Freedom Violations’ in Recent Years
Hostility toward religion is on the rise in the United States, according to a new report.
The report, which was recently released by the Family Research Council, shows an increase in the number of incidents involving “religious freedom violations” since the first report was released in July 2014. The original report spanned over a decade and contained 90 incidents. In the last three years, 69 new incidents have been added.
“The recent spike in government driven religious hostility is sadly not surprising, especially considering the Obama administration’s antagonism toward biblical Christianity,” said Tony Perkins, president of the Family Research Council, in a statement. “The report underscores the legitimacy of the actions taken by the Trump administration to end the policies and practices in federal agencies that fan the flames of this religious intolerance.”
Perkins added the report’s findings also show “ the growing courage of Christians, especially young Christians, to defend both their faith and their freedoms.”
The report found that antagonism toward religious beliefs on sexuality was fueling much of the increase:
Hostility to religious beliefs on natural marriage and human sexuality … [included] 42 incidents in the report’s first edition. In the time since then, 48 new incidents have been added to these sections. Thus, the number of these religious freedom violations more than doubled …
In the introduction to the report, the Family Research Council writes that the attacks on religious teaching on marriage and sexuality “is the product of more insidious forces which ultimately will erode civil liberties for all Americans, even if they hold a different viewpoint than our own.”
Included in the religious liberty violations listed in the report was one about a survey distributed by a major financial firm.
In 2014, JPMorgan Chase, a vocal advocate of LGBT rights, sent out a survey to its employees asking a number of questions. The survey asked if the employee was “disabled, had family members that were disabled, if they were LGBT, or if they were allies of the LGBT movement.” Employees that answered negatively the final question could be interpreted as being at odds with the beliefs of the firm.
In February 2016, Edie and David Delorme received death threats after declining to make a cake for a same-sex wedding. The Delormes, who are devout Baptists, have previously refused to create cakes that go against their religious convictions, including those “that support alcohol, tobacco, gambling, or convey sexually inappropriate images,” according to the report.
Rather than accepting a list of nearby bakeries that would create the same-sex wedding cake instead, the couple complained to the media, bringing on harsh attacks against the Delormes.
“The bakery received threats of violence on social media and Yelp,” the Family Research Council wrote. “Though the bakery was never threatened with a lawsuit, they remain a target of criticism by LGBT activists.”
Another area of extreme hostility concerns Catholic churches, schools, and hospitals who have been operating in accordance with the Catholic Church’s teaching.
One example occurred in September 2016 when Kate Drumgoole, a guidance counselor and coach at a Catholic high school in New Jersey, was fired when the administration learned that she was in a same-sex relationship.
Drumgoole, citing discrimination, sued the archdiocese and Paramus Catholic High School despite having previously signed the archdiocese’s “Policies on Professional and Ministerial Conduct.” By signing it, teachers acknowledge the requirement that they “act in accordance with the ‘discipline, norms and teachings of the Catholic Church.’”
“Religious liberty is the exercise of our inherent, natural rights. It is not limited to freedom to worship, rather, it means that we are free to live consistently with our beliefs in the public square,” says Melanie Israel, a research associate in the DeVos Center for Religion and Civil Society at The Heritage Foundation.

State Actors Are Likely Behind Recent Ransomware Attacks
Ransomware is a type of malware that locks computers until a ransom is paid.
This form of cyberattack has become the weapon of choice for cybercriminals, and presumably nation-states.
Whereas cybercriminals use ransomware to extract money, nation-states may be using ransomware as a means to test the United States’ cyber resiliency.
In late June, Ukraine—along with at least 64 other countries, including the United States—was the victim of a ransomware attack from an unknown source.
Experts originally noticed this new malware acted in a way similar to the malware known as Petya, but in a more advanced form. This advanced manifestation was soon creatively given the name “NotPetya.”
While Petya used phishing techniques to access victims’ networks, NotPetya used worm capabilities similar to a ransomware attack seen earlier this year known as WannaCry. This means NotPetya and WannaCry were able to “self-propagate” over multiple networks within a closed system.
NotPetya would build a list of IP addresses within the local area network that enabled its automated expansion.
As written previously in The Daily Signal, NotPetya seemed to focus its attack against those within Ukraine, as it embedded itself in software used primarily in Ukraine.
NotPetya targeted similar infrastructure, such as energy infrastructure, to that of a cyberattack on Ukraine in 2016. The sources of either attack have not yet been identified, but seem to fit quite well into Russian cyberstrategy.
Although NotPetya is considered ransomware, it lacks an important aspect: the incentive to pay the ransom. This is lacking because NotPetya and its developers lack the capability to remove the encryption off files after payment.
NotPetya presents itself less like ransomware and more like a cyberattack disguised as ransomware.
Even so, over $13,000 in bitcoin was paid in ransom from the initial attack.
WannaCry, a virus associated with North Korea-associated hacker group Lazarus, affected over 300,000 people in Europe—including the United Kingdom’s National Health Service—to the United States.
The WannaCry virus displayed similarities linked to the hacking group Lazarus, which attacked Sony in 2014.
There were also other causes to suspect these were not average ransomware hackers: WannaCry and NotPetya sought only $300 to unlock computers, while the average ransom is over $1,000.
It makes sense for a nation-state to use ransomware as a façade. Per the Version cybersecurity report, ransomware is continuing to become one of the most common forms of crimeware.
Ransomware attacks are now appearing paired with other forms of cyberattacks. They may simply be, at this point, the easiest way for nation-states to test or gather information from our networked systems.
There are seldom few actions the U.S. can take to respond to ransomware attacks. For now, emphasis should be placed on maintaining updated operating systems and a backup of networked data.
The U.S. should continue to work with international partners to help locate the origin of these cyberattacks when possible, and use both traditional law enforcement mechanisms along with cyber capabilities to fight cybercrime. Former CIA head John Brennan urged mutiny if special counsel Robert Mueller is fired by President Trump.

In the most vocal opposition to president Donald Trump yet, former CIA Director John Brennan said that if the White House tries to fire special counsel Robert Mueller, government officials should refuse to follow the president orders, as they would be – in his view – “inconsistent” with the duties of the executive branch.
“I think it’s the obligation of some executive branch officials to refuse to carry that out. I would just hope that this is not going to be a partisan issue. That Republicans, Democrats are going to see that the future of this government is at stake and something needs to be done for the good of the future,” Brennan told CNN’s Wolf Blitzer at the Aspen Security Forum, effectively calling for a coup against the president should Trump give the order to fire Mueller.

President Trump is putting together a voter-fraud commission in order to stop people from voting illegally. Why would anyone object to that unless they wanted to be able to get away with voting illegally? According to Democrats, however, the voter-fraud commission is an “assault on democracy.”
““I actually think it should be renamed. It’s actually the voter suppression commission. We know that that is what the agenda is. You know, Trump is still obsessed over the fact that he lost the popular vote and so I guess he’s looking for those 3 million illegal votes,” said Rep. Karen Bass (D-CA) on MSNBC’s “PoliticsNation”.
Democrats, the ones who really lost the election, have been pushing the Russian collusion narrative ever since Hillary Clinton lost. At least there is actually evidence of people attempting to vote illegally.
“But we really do know that this is about the mass purging of voters around the country. And one thing that I’m proud of is that so many states are standing up and refusing to cooperate. California is certainly one of many,” said Bass.
“I really think it’s something that we have to be very careful of because it is another assault on our democracy. We have already had an assault on our democracy from the Russians. Now we have an assault on our democracy from the president,” she said. Check out the video below.

Behind the CBO's Dubious Estimates on GOP
Health Reform
Upwards of 22 million fewer Americans will have health insurance under either of the GOP's House or Senate liar-nObamaCare replacement plans, says the Congressional Budget Office. Arguably the largest hurdle Republicans have faced in their attempt to repeal and replace the onerous law has been concerns over significantly increasing the number of uninsured. And it has been the CBO's projections that have scared moderate Republicans away from approving of a repeal and replacement plan. But the CBO is getting it wrong.
Why are the CBO's projections so dire? The short answer is the liar-nObamaCare mandate. As Forbes reports, "The CBO's model is designed to treat any mandate-repealing GOP bill as covering fewer people than liar-nObamacare." Remove the mandate from the equation and 73% of the CBO's projected number of those who would lose insurance under either of the GOP's plans evaporates. In other words, the vast majority of those who would "lose" insurance under either of the Republican plans would do so because of individual choice, not a lack of availability.
The CBO's dirty little secret is that it has conveniently glossed over this profoundly significant detail when producing its projections. Furthermore, the CBO has continued to use its own inflated projection estimates on the number of those insured under liar-nObamaCare when it calculates the numbers who would not be insured under the GOP plans. The resulting bottom line is this: Without the mandate, liar-nObamaCare would have insured no more Americans than would either of the Republicans' plans.
Forbes hits the nail on the head: "So, the choice for Republicans is this. Do you support repealing liar-nObamacare's individual mandate, or preserving it? If you support repealing it — whatever other policy details you prefer — the CBO is going to generate misleading headlines about 16 million people being 'kicked off' their insurance." The CBO is committed to the mandate, and that is the problem.
Republicans need to be preaching Liberty from government control and freedom of the individual to decide what works best. And they have an excellent opportunity to show just how oppressive and expensive life gets when the government dictates for Americans what they must buy, and how much of it they must purchase. Instead, they're succumbing to the skewed statistics of the pencil-pushers at the CBO. ~The Patriot Post

{tommclaughlin.blogspot.com} ~ There are places along the Saco where I like to go looking for Indian artifacts when conditions are right. I won’t dig for them because to do so would disturb the site. If I did, I’d have to abide by strict guidelines to document what I found, where, and at what level. Then I’d have to publish results. In other words, it’s a lot of work and I’m not inclined to make that much of a commitment. Instead, I let farmers excavate, which they do in the course of their work. Then, after a sufficient amount of rain has fallen on the plowed and harrowed field, I go looking. The strata in which the artifacts existed originally has already been disturbed and real archaeologists wouldn’t be interested in what I find unless it were something very unusual. What I find, however, is routine to them.
Flood and freeze on the Old Saco
I don’t find very many arrowheads. Where I look has been picked over for many decades, but I do find one occasionally. Mostly I find the small chips produced while making arrowheads and all the other sharp tools necessary for Indians to live as they did. I find a lot of scrapers — sharp pieces of stone used to remove flesh from inside animal hides or to remove fur and hair from the outside. I find those every time I go out. Arrowhead hunters eschewed picking them up but I do and they make up most of my collection.
Nearly everything I find is made of stone because everything else has rotted away. Wood, bone, hide, turtle shells, mussel shells, and so forth don’t last in New England soils. Once I found a bone amulet, but it was largely disintegrated. Archaeologists can find bone if it has been heated to the point where its chemistry changes into something called calcined bone. That will resist disintegration longer, but I haven’t found any of that. I do find pottery sherds though.

The arrowheads I’ve picked up are only 1000-2000 years old and they’re dated by their size and shape to the “Woodland Period.” Indians were thought to have started using pottery around 3000 years ago, around the time they began farming. Local Indians are believed to have begun farming only a few centuries before European contact and cultivated three main crops: corn, beans, and squash here in southwestern Maine where I live now.
I don’t know how old the scrapers are. They could be much older but I have no way to tell because I didn’t find them “in situ” — or where they were originally left by the Indians who used them. If they were found near a hearth with charcoal in an intact level they could be dated by both the charcoal and the strata. All I know is that they were in the "plow zone” turned up by farmers which goes down about two feet.
On Sunday I spent a wonderful afternoon along the Old Course of the Saco completely by myself. It was sunny, in the seventies, and with a slight breeze to keep most mosquitoes away — perfect conditions. It was perhaps three centuries ago that the last Pequawket Indians used the site, just prior to Captain John Lovewell’s raid in 1725, after which Indians abandoned Pequawket (now called Fryeburg, Maine) and went to live with their fellow Abenaki in St. Francis, Quebec. That’s an Abenaki reservation (otherwise known as Odanak) at the confluence of the St. Francis and St. Lawrence rivers.

It occurred to me as I picked up each artifact that the last person to have touched it might have been an ancestor of my wife and children. I’d been reading my wife’s extensive pedigree going back to the 1600s in Quebec. Several of her ancestors were born, married, and died in St. Francis (also called Odanak). Joseph Forcier, her fourth great-grandfather, was married there to her fourth great-grandmother, Agathe (nee Gagne) in 1729 — just after the fight at Lovewell’s Pond. Were they Pequawkets? I don't know. It’s possible. Their daughter, Marguerite Forcier, lived there her whole life and was herself married in 1767 to my wife’s third great-grandfather Joseph Clement. That means Marguerite was present with the legendary Molly Ockett during the infamous raid by Rogers’ Rangers in 1759. Both survived, but over 200 men, women, and children didn’t.
Except for the women and children, they were not necessarily innocent victims of racist, white males in Rogers’ company. Abenaki warriors from St. Francis were allied to the French and often conducted raids south against British colonial settlements. While the Pequawket lived in what is now Fryeburg before 1725, they raided south too, including attacks on Andover, Dunstable, and Tyngsboro. Captain Lovewell and his men didn’t come up here just looking for scalps. They were also here for revenge. While descendants of men who fought with Lovewell settled Lovell, some of Rogers’ Rangers settled Fryeburg.

Sarsour, a Palestinian activist, is the darling of the left, the feminist movement and the BDS movement. Information she spreads is taken at face value; no one usually bothers to check the facts.
Because of this, her comments matter. One of her latest disingenuous Facebook posts shows Muslims in Israel praying on the street because, in Sarsour’s words, they have been (#1 deception) “denied access to pray at Al Aqsa Mosque in their own homeland.”
Sarsour then praises her Palestinian brothers for this act of “non-violent resistance,” where they are (#2 deception) “met with tear gas and rubber bullets” from Israeli police.
She then paints her people, the Palestinians, as victims, saying the world powers (#3 deception) “continue to turn a blind eye to the blatant injustice against and the suffering of the Palestinian people.”
Let us navigate through the minefield of these distorted remarks, which has become the common narrative of Islamists worldwide.
#1 Palestinians are denied access to Al Aqsa mosque
Sarsour accuses Israel of blocking Muslim access to Al Aqsa, a mosque located on the Temple Mount. What she conveniently fails to mention is that Arab terrorists sneaked weapons onto the Temple Mount about 10 days ago and used them to kill two Israeli policemen who were stationed just outside the mount to guard the worshipers.
Until now, Israeli authorities allowed the Jordanian waqf (Islamic trust) to provide security for the sensitive area. In response to the attack, Israel installed metal detectors outside of the entrances to the mount.
Palestinians object to the metal detectors and have refused to enter the mount to pray at Al Aqsa, protesting instead by holding prayers outside, rioting and inciting against Israel which they accuse of wanting to take over the mosque and the entire Temple Mount. It’s a blood libel that has been used by Muslims for close to 100 years to foment horrific violence perpetrated by Islamists against Jews.
In fact, even after Israel regained control of the Temple Mount in 1967, they made the Islamic trust the administrators of the area. And although the mount is the holiest site in Judaism, to keep the peace, Israel law actually prohibits Jewish and all other non-Muslim prayer on the mount.
After the Palestinians called for a “day of rage” to be held last Friday to protest the metal detectors, Israel announced that only women and men over 50 years of age would be allowed on the Temple Mount for Friday prayers.
This remarkable display of Palestinian hypocrisy over the metal detectors has been “reframed” by Sarsour and her ilk, who now claim to the world that Palestinians are “denied access to pray at Al Aqsa Mosque.”
#2 Peaceful Palestinians protesters are “met with tear gas and rubber bullets” from Israeli police.
Since Palestinian leaders forbid going through the metal detectors to pray at Al Aqsa, Palestinians held protest prayers at outdoors locations. As the picture Sarsour posted shows, peaceful Palestinian protesters were allowed to pray in peace outside the Temple Mount. Those who became violent were, at times, subdued with tear gas and rubber bullets.
#3 The world turns a blind eye to Palestinian suffering
Since the establishment of the Palestinian Authority in the 1990s and its rule in certain areas of the West Bank and previous to Hamas’ takeover Gaza, the U.S. government alone has committed more than $5 billion in aid to the Palestinians.
The Palestinians are also one of the world’s largest per capita recipients of international foreign aid.
Contrary to the lies put out by Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas that the Palestinians received no U.S. aid in 2016, $357 million was given to them by the U.S. State Department. Taken in connection with the additional $355 million that the U.S. contributed to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNWRA), total U.S. aid to the Palestinians last year alone was $712 million.
World-wide pledges to UNWRA alone in 2015 were more than $1.5 billion. That’s not including the massive monies that the Palestinians receive from the Europeans annually — $274 million in 2016 alone was pledged by the European Union.
Suffering only occurs because the leadership is corrupt and does not use these monies to improve the lives of their people.
As for the “non-violent resistance” Sarsour so lauds, Sarsour failed to mention a major terrorist attack that directly resulted from Palestinian incitement over the issue of the metal detectors their proof that Israel wants to take over Al Aqsa.
On Friday night, as a Jewish family sat down to eat their Sabbath meal, three members of the family were slaughtered in a knife attack by a 19-year old Palestinian who had just written on his Facebook page, “Take your weapons and resist…. I only have a knife and it will answer the call of Al-Aqsa…. I know I am going and will not return.”
Sarsour says her beloved, protesting Palestinians brothers “remain steadfast and teach us life, determination and patience.” Comments to which I only have three words: God save us.

It is ironic that while the "liberal" world has been busy in Canada lavishing millions on the "Foreign Terrorist Fighter" Omar Khadr, and in the US pampering extremists such as Linda Sarsour -- an apologist for ISIS and Islamist terrorism who calls for a "jihad" on the president, and whose tweets include racist comments such as "How many times to we have to tell White women that we do not need to be saved by them? Is there a code language I need to use to get thru?" -- that the press has largely ignored these courageous Islamic leaders. They have travelled from six major European countries and launched a peace march in Europe to show the masses that some Muslims, at least, do condemn terrorism and want nothing to do with terrorists who murder in the name of Islam...
Many consider their efforts a brave stand to win back the trust of those in the West who are justifiably angry about the recent wave of terrorist attacks in United Kingdom, France, Belgium, Israel, Germany, the United States and across much of the world.
These imams, from different Islamic faiths, have done an extraordinary job in unequivocally denouncing the terrorists by visiting the sites of terror attacks to pay homage to victims of terrorism in Europe.
The idea seems to have shaken extremists to the core. They have been sending these imams death threats.
It is not only violent extremists, however, who pose threat to peace efforts and the West. At least what they do can be seen. Possibly more harmful are non-violent Muslims, such as Linda Sarsour, who, in order to prey upon naïve admirers of other cultures, continue to feed to the world a narrative of Muslim victimhood, apparently to try to whip up hostile sentiments.
Sarsour for instance, recommends launching a jihad against the current US administration by calling its members "white nationalists", "fascists", and "Islamophobes". She has also been sending her warm wishes to Assata Shukar, a woman who murdered an American policeman, then, after escaping from prison, fled to Cuba.
It is painful to see such people stoking the fire to support extremists -- especially while heroic imams go on a peace mission, only to face threats from extremists.
It is also painful to watch such extremists invoke well-worn words such as jihad and sharia -- words the meaning of which is known all too well in the Muslim world -- and then later try to paint these words -- presumably for gullible Westerners -- as symbols of warm-and-fuzzy non-violent "resistance".
Even though it is partially true that in Islam, jihad is considered a struggle against oneself to eliminate the evils within oneself, if you speak to anyone in the Muslim world and ask what jihad is, that is not the answer you will get.
There are hadiths the deeds and saying of the Prophet Muhammad, taken literally by hardline Muslims, that order the need for jihad against infidels:
The last hour would not come unless the Muslims will fight against the Jews and the Muslims would kill them until the Jews would hide themselves behind a stone or a tree and a stone or a tree would say: Muslim, or the servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me; come and kill him.... (Sahih Muslim Book 041, Number 6985)
or:
I have been commanded to fight against people so long as they do not declare that there is no god but Allah, and he who professed it was guaranteed the protection of his property and life on my behalf except for the right affairs rest with Allah. (Hadith Muslim 30)
There are verses in the Quran that state:
And kill them wherever you overtake them and expel them from wherever they have expelled you, and fitnah is worse than killing. And do not fight them at al-Masjid al- Haram until they fight you there. But if they fight you, then kill them. Such is the recompense of the disbelievers. (Quran 2:191-193)So let those fight in the cause of Allah who sell the life of this world for the Hereafter. And he who fights in the cause of Allah and is killed or achieves victory - We will bestow upon him a great reward. (Quran 4:74)
What is not addressed is how a majority of Muslims have been radicalized over the years by extremist clerics who know nothing about peace. They have apparently adopted a literal interpretation of many versus to take over the non-Muslim world and impose on mankind an Islamic version of religion.
It is also ironic that extremists can take time from their busy schedules to send death threats to these peaceful imams, but never have any problem with people such as Sarsour -- perhaps because they are not in her cross-hairs and possibly share the same ideology.
Organizations that are supposedly "non-violent" such as the Muslim Brotherhood, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), nevertheless represent an ideology, the sole purpose of which is to impose Saudi, Taliban, or Iran-like Sharia law on the world.
Both the Muslim Brotherhood and CAIR, as well as Britain's Islamic Relief and 80 other organizations, for example, were added to the United Arab Emirates' list of designated terrorist organizations in 2014. Presumably, all are the fonts from which violent Islam grows. Many on the list, such, as Hezbollah and Boko Haram, already are violent.
These views in Islam no longer have anything to do with the great mystic philosophers, such as Rumi, Saadi and Ibn el Arabi, who considered even the weakest soul an extension of Allah, thus demanding love and respect for all, and with no ambitions of ruling anyone or taking control of the world.
Anyone who is trying to sell Islam and Sharia, which represent an extremist ideology, as something non-militant, only exposes himself or herself as trying to fool the world.
It is also important to keep in mind that extremists consider peaceful Muslims apostates. Mansoor Hallaj for example, who was gruesomely tortured and executed, is a symbol of how these extremist Muslims have savaged anyone who tried to offer a "kinder, gentler" version of Islam.
The only reason that modern-day people -- from both East and West -- are aware of the violent aspect of jihad is that they have seen bloodbaths and massacres wherever the phrase "Allahu Akbar," "Allah is the greatest," was chanted.
Therefore, the word jihad in the current historical context can only trigger suspicion and anger against anyone who announces jihad as a wish.
Extremist Muslims have, in fact, played this game for decades in the West and also in the Muslim world. They have not only poisoned the minds of their own youths against other faiths, but are also preparing them to commit violence against people of other faiths in a bid to take over the world through "jihad".
Now they have realized that they may be starting to lose the game: many youths have started to question their activities while many governments in the West are running programmes to integrate the brainwashed young people into their societies.
The notion of "Us vs. Them" is beginning to fall apart and finally the world seems to be coming out of the decades-long chaos and cold wars that begin after 1940s.
It is therefore high time, as mankind faces a crucial turning point, that people will pull together and support any voices of peace, such as those of the marching imams, and restrain any hands that would try to sabotage their noble mission.

Bolton says Kislyak is a diplomat, not a spy master and that any Russian influence operation would have been directed by the FSB or some other element of Russian intelligence. {townhall.com} ~ The Daily Caller has obtained exclusive information from a source close to the investigation into the activities of Pakistani brothers who worked in IT positions for Democratic members of Congress, including Debbie Wasserman-Schultz of Florida, indicating that the FBI has seized smashed computer hard drives from the home of one of the men.
Pakistani-born Imran Awan, long-time right-hand IT aide to the former Democratic National Committee (DNC) Chairwoman, has since desperately tried to get the hard drives back, the individual told The Daily Caller News Foundation’s Investigative Group.A high-level congressional source, speaking on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the probe, confirmed that the FBI has joined what Politico previously described as a Capitol Police criminal probe into “serious, potentially illegal, violations on the House IT network” by Imran and three of his relatives, who had access to the emails and files of the more than two dozen House Democrats who employed them on a part-time basis.Capitol Police have also seized computer equipment tied to the Florida lawmaker.
Imran Awan, his two brothers, two of their wives, and two friends, all worked for various members of Congress, but routinely missed weekly meetings and were reported to have been transferring data to an off-site server.
When Imran learned he was under investigation in February he abruptly moved out of his home in Virginia and listed it for rent on a website catering to members of the military.
One of new tenants — a Marine Corps veteran married to a female Navy Officer — said he found “wireless routers, hard drives that look like they tried to destroy, laptops, and a lot of brand new expensive toner.”The tenants called the Naval Criminal Investigative Service, and not long after, FBI agents arrived together with the Capitol Police to interview them and confiscate the equipment. The Marine spoke on condition of anonymity because of concerns for his wife’s naval career, saying she doesn’t want to be associated with a national security incident.
Imran was desperate to retrieve the property, even showing up at the home numerous times to get it back, but the Marine wouldn't let him in.
Despite all of this, Imran has not been fired by Wasserman-Schultz. In fact, she threatened the Capitol Police during a budget hearing with "consequences" if a seized laptop used by Imran Amwan was not returned.
Because of what's already been reported about the behavior of the members of the Awan group and his knowledge of military security, the Marine is dismayed that this breach of security by foreign nationals isn't all over the news.
“I served in the Marine Corps for 14 years; if I downloaded files to an offsite server, I’m going to prison for a lot of years.”He believes “there’s no way they could get this far without help” from some of the Democratic members of Congress for whom the brothers worked. Other Democrats have ignored a major security breach because it could look like a “black eye” in that they failed to vet the Pakistanis, he said.“He’s dangerous. This is a crime syndicate that has successfully indicated Congress,” he said.“If Donald Trump and the Republicans had hired foreign nationals to be their top IT guys and somehow their congressional files had been compromised, this would have been all over the news,” he continued.
The Capitol Police reported Thursday they have not inspected the laptop seized from Wasserman-Schultz's office due to the invocation of the Constitution’s “Speech and Debate clause."

The Infectious Disease Epidemiology Annual Report — which was published on July 12, 2017 and provides data on the status of more than 50 infectious diseases in Germany during 2016 — offers the first glimpse into the public health consequences of the massive influx of migrants in late 2015.
The report shows increased incidences in Germany of adenoviral conjunctivitis, botulism, chicken pox, cholera, cryptosporidiosis, dengue fever, echinococcosis, enterohemorrhagic E. coli, giardiasis, haemophilus influenza, Hantavirus, hepatitis, hemorrhagic fever, HIV/AIDS, leprosy, louse-borne relapsing fever, malaria, measles, meningococcal disease, meningoencephalitis, mumps, paratyphoid, rubella, shigellosis, syphilis, toxoplasmosis, trichinellosis, tuberculosis, tularemia, typhus and whooping cough.
Local health authorities say that in addition to the children, parents and teachers as well as parishioners are also being tested for the disease, which can develop months or even years after exposure. The tuberculosis scare has cast a renewed spotlight on the increased risk of infectious diseases in Germany since Chancellor Angela Merkel allowed in around two million migrants from Africa, Asia and the Middle East.
The RKI statistics may be just the tip of the iceberg. The number of reported cases of tuberculosis, for example, was 5,915 in 2016, up from 4,488 cases in 2014, an increase of more than 30% during that period. Some doctors, however, believe that the actual number of cases of tuberculosis is far higher and have accused the RKI of downplaying the threat in an effort to avoid fueling anti-immigration sentiments.
In an interview with Focus, Carsten Boos, an orthopedic surgeon, warned that German authorities have lost track of hundreds of thousands of migrants who may be infected. He added that 40% of all tuberculosis pathogens are multidrug-resistant and therefore inherently dangerous to the general population.

Muslim invaders have AIDS, syphilis, open TB and other exotic diseases, never before seen, or long since eradicated in the West.
Muslim invaders abandon their sick children when asked to pay for their medications: When they learn they have to pay cash, it leads to unbelievable outbursts. They abandon the children with pharmacy staff with the words: ‘So, cure them here yourselves!’
At least 1 in 10 Muslim women are already knocked up when they get to Germany. Hundreds of thousands of them have brought along infants and little kids under six, many emaciated and very sick.

Offering condolences to Damond’s family, Warsame said Sunday her death is not the fault of the Somali community. “I’ve seen the change in the community — social media is driving it, the far right media is driving it the Islamaphobes are driving it,” Warsame said. Warsame specifically called out former congresswoman Michele Bachmann for comments she made. “We had a man, Mohamed Noor, who was an affirmative action hire by the hijab-wearing mayor of Minneapolis Betsy Hodges, ” Bachmann said at a recent event, adding, “We need to step up deportation in the country of people who are unwilling to bear allegiance to the United States.” Warsame’s frustrated that Bachmann is making the shooting about race. “But when you have somebody like congresswoman Michele Bachman that go on I don’t know TV or radio and say that this was done because he was a Muslim I mean I think that’s unacceptable,” Warsame said. “We are part and partial of this city and state. And I would like to tell Michele Bachman personally that I’m not going anywhere, my family is not going anywhere and my community is not going anywhere.” Warsame does believe change is necessary within the police department — and he hopes it starts with newly appointed police chief Medaria Aarrondondo. “I haven’t spoken to Rondo yet, but I will have frank discussions with him and I will put in front of him the changes that I expect,” Warsame said. Some of those suggestions include a new independent civilian oversight board, even going as far as saying both state law and city policy need to change so that board has subpeona power for investigations and can discipline police misconduct. Warsame said he has not spoken to officer Noor and will not pass judgment until all the facts are known. He did say he thought the mayor and former police chief were more or less out of line when they offered up their opinions on the shooting. Officer Mohamed Noor is the officer who shot and killed Damond on July 15, he was the first Somali officer in the fifth precinct, but Warsame says the officer’s race and culture is irrelevant and he wants the hate and blame toward the Somali community to stop.
