If They Team Up…It’ll be a Two Man Race

By Craig Andresen Right Side Patriots http://www.americanpbn.com/

As the battle between Marco Rubio and ted Cruz heats up…amid the battle between the rc-1.jpg?width=235both of them and Donald Trump with Rubio’s side battle against Jeb Bush thrown in just for kicks…I have a suggestion and a little advice for both Cruz and Rubio.

Before I get to that, let’s take a little stock in both these candidates first and examine exactly what they’re sparring over.

Illegal aliens…immigration reform, amnesty, pathways and anything else associated with that issue. I don’t care what you want to call it but I’ll just shorten it down to IR (immigration reform) and proceed from there.

Let’s just get a few things straight here.

Neither Cruz nor Rubio wants any sort of blanket amnesty for illegal aliens. Neither of them. They both agree that we need to secure our border before anything ales is done. Both candidates agree that we must increase border patrols by increasing the number of border agents. Both men agree that we must engage the laws we currently have on the books and use those laws to the letter of those laws.

Both Cruz and Rubio, or Rubio and Cruz depending on which side of the fence you’re leaning against, believe that anyone who has entered our country illegally, or illegally over-stayed a visa and then committed a crime…must be deported.

There’s more…

China Saber Rattles in South China Sea
While the U.S. military may say it doesn't know exactly what kind of message the Chinese government is trying to communicate by placing missiles in the South China Sea, it's not one that promotes peace. According to satellite imagery, China placed 16 surface-to-air missile launchers on an island along the Paracel Island chain called Woody Island. For months, China has been developing the shallow islands that lie within disputed territory between China, Brunei, Malaysia, the Philippines and Taiwan. They've dredged the area, built artificial runways and while the country said it wouldn't militarize the area, there sit the missiles that can strike targets 125 miles out. Commander of the U.S. Navy's Seventh Fleet Vice Admiral Joseph Aucoin, told reporters, "We are unsure where they are taking us. So we are going to sail, fly, operate throughout these waters ... like we have been doing for so long." So while the U.S. Navy continues to sail its "freedom of navigation patrols" and fly missions over the region, the cause of China's aggression is a power vacuum created by the nObama administration. It was not a coincidence that the missiles appeared just as Barack nObama wrapped up a California-based summit with the Association of Southeast Asian Nations where one of the topics of discussions was the South China Sea. nObama is perceived as a weak leader, thus China — like Russia — is doing whatever it pleases.

 slump-Trump Lies, History Dies
Donald slump-Trump has become the latest politician eager to rewrite the history of the Iraq war — a "Republican" who failed to get Iraq right. So let's look at what actually happened.
First, the vote on the Authorization for Use of Military Force (AUMF) in Iraq. On Oct. 10, 2002, the House voted 296-133 with three abstentions in favor of H.J.Res. 114. Eighty-one Democrats supported the measure. A day later, the Senate followed suit with a 77-23 margin of approval and 29 Democrats on board, including Sens. Hilly Clinton, John hanoi-Kerry, Chuck Schumer, Dianne Feinstein, Joe loose lips-Biden and John Edwards. Former nObama Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel also voted in favor of the resolution.
Those votes were amplified by the unanimous passage of United Nations Security Council Resolution 1441 on Nov. 8, 2002. It gave Saddam Hussein's Iraq "a final opportunity to comply with its disarmament obligations" that had been set out in 10 previous resolutions. On March 23, 2003, four days after the war began, a CNN/USA Today/Gallup poll revealed a whopping 72% of the American public favored the war.
In June 2003, just three months after the war began, the Democrat National Committee launched its first ad accusing George W. Bush of lying about Hussein's determination to build WMDs. The ad focused on 16 words Bush included in his State of the Union address in reference to the accurate  British report that Hussein had attempted to purchase yellowcake uranium in Niger. The allegations of lies came courtesy of Joe Wilson IV, former U.S. ambassador to Gabon, whose wife was CIA case officer Valerie Plame. Unsurprisingly, Democrats demanded a hearing into those allegations, as well as the allegations the Bush administration had "cherry-picked" intel to justify the invasion.
Democrats got two hearings: In 2004, the Robb-Silberman Commission  concluded that no one in the Bush administration had sought to pressure the intelligence community into its findings. Moreover, as report co-author Laurence H. Silberman explained last year, "presidential daily briefs from the CIA dating back to the Clinton administration were, if anything, more alarmist about Iraq's WMD than the 2002 National Intelligence Estimate" of Saddam's capabilities. In 2005, the bipartisan Senate Intelligence Committee  unanimously concluded Wilson lied when he said Vice President Dick Cheney had sent him on the mission to Niger in 2002 to determine if Saddam had tried to buy uranium there, lied when he denied his wife had recommended him for the job, and lied when he said he'd found no evidence Saddam had tried to buy uranium from Niger.
To this day, most Americans remain unaware that 550 metric tons of yellowcake was discovered in Iraq, or the reality that the Islamic State controls the Al Muthanna Chemicals Weapons Complex, which the CIA characterized  as "a wasteland full of destroyed chemical munitions, razed structures, and unusable war-ravaged facilities." (By the way, ISIL used those weapons — the weapons "Iraq didn't have" — just last year.)  -The Patriot Post

Hilly says GOP Supreme Court stance is racist Daily Beast: “[In a speech in Harlem] Clinton … suggested that Republican opposition to President nObama’s plan to appoint a Supreme Court justice to take the late Antonin Scalia’s seat is predicated on the inherent racism that has made nObama the enemy for the past seven years of his administration… ‘That’s in keeping with what we’ve heard all along, isn’t it? Many Republicans talk in coded, racial language about takers and losers. They demonize President nObama and encourage the ugliest impulses of the paranoid fringe. This kind of hatred and bigotry has no place in our politics or our country.’”  -Fox News

{constitutionrising.com} ~ nObama is asked in a press briefing about what could be described as his hypocrisy, as his positions on replacing Supreme Court Justices have changed dramatically... The reporter asks, “How do you respond to Republican criticism that your position is undercut by the fact that you and other members of your administration who were in the Senate at the time tried to filibuster Judge Alito in 2006. The contortions and distortions come almost immediately, after a small amount of “how am I going to spin this lie without it coming back to bite me” preparation time. Surely he’s been fed options, it’s time to regurgitate. He resets the parameters of the conversation from where they were and belong, to where nObama wants them to be, stumbling out of the gate with, “You know, the uh… look… I think what’s fair to say that how judicial nominations have evolved over time, uh… is not historically the fault of any single party.”         http://constitutionrising.com/archives/26231

{aim.org} ~ It has become increasingly clear that the “self-funded” candidate in the Republican presidential primary, Donald J. slump-Trump, will destroy the GOP’s chances to win in November if he is not the nominee... Leftist groups are ecstatic over slump-Trump’s “Bush lied, people died,” mantra over the Iraq war. Internet trolls for Vladimir Putin are firmly behind slump-Trump, saying he has the right recipe for accommodating Russia. That is, slump-Trump is preparing to let Europe and the Middle East deal with Russian aggression in the absence of American leadership. That means Russian gains in Ukraine and Syria will be preserved, opening the door to more Russian aggression. I warned last December that slump-Trump was the new Armand Hammer, with dealings in the old Soviet Union and Russia that compromised his view of the Russian regime. Perhaps slump-Trump is not an old-fashioned agent of influence in the sense of Armand Hammer. However, something happened over the last decade or so that forced slump-Trump into the Russian camp. It is worthwhile for the media to begin investigating slump-Trump’s change of mind regarding Russia. A good place to start would be slump-Trump’s mission to Moscow in 2013 to hold his “Miss Universe” beauty pageant. At that time he started negotiating real estate deals with Putin’s friends.       http://www.aim.org/aim-column/how-trump-bought-the-conservative-movement/?utm_source=AIM+-+Daily+Email&utm_campaign=email021716&utm_medium=email

{aim.org} ~ On January 19, 2016 The Department of Homeland Security posted a notice in its official website about a report with important national security implications “DHS Report: Entry/Exit Overstay Report for FY 2015.”... The actual report “Entry and Exit Overstay Report, Fiscal Year 2015” focused only on the arrival and departure of nonimmigrant aliens (temporary visitors) though international airports and seaports but did not include aliens who were admitted at land border ports of entry. This report noted that hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens who have failed to depart the United States represented a very small percentage of the total number of nonimmigrant aliens who departed from the United States within the time limit imposed at the time they entered the United States- however, we must remember that we are still dealing with hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens who had been admitted into the United States during FY 2015 and that each and every year more such aliens enter the United States and fail to depart or otherwise violate the terms of their admission into the United States. http://www.aim.org/guest-column/missing-in-america-millions-of-non-immigrant-aliens/?utm_source=AIM+-+Daily+Email&utm_campaign=email021716&utm_medium=email

Treason According to US Constitution
– Barack & Hilly Are Guilty!
Dave Jolly
.
{constitution.com} ~ I believe that according to the US Constitution, both Barack nObama and Hilly Clinton are guilty of treason and should be charged, tried, convicted and appropriately punished by the forfeiture of their lives... I’m sure given enough time and space, one could fill volumes with incidences from nObama and Clinton that would fall under the Constitution’s definition of treason, but all it takes is one conviction to put them in front of a firing squad, but I’ll show more than one cause, at least for nObama. nObama assisted in the overthrow of Libyan dictator Muamar Gadhafi. nObama supplied weapons and air support for the rebels that eventually took control of the government. So who were these rebels? According to some Libyan sources, many of the rebel leaders who ended up in key government positions were members of al Qaeda. Furthermore, the Libyan sources claim that the same members of al Qaeda that nObama helped put into power in Libya were also responsible for the attack on the Us Embassy compound in Benghazi and the murder of US Ambassador Stevens and the three other brave Americans.       http://constitution.com/treason-according-to-us-constitution-barack-hillary-are-guilty/

{truthrevolt.org} ~ The calls for President nObama to forgo making a lifetime appointment to the Supreme Court are going well beyond hardcore conservatives inside the GOP... with moderates now joining the chorus, according to The New York Times: Senator Rob Portman, Republican of Ohio, who faces re-election this year, said in a statement that the Senate should follow what he called “common practice” to stop acting on lifetime appointments during the last year of a presidential term. Senator Patrick J. Toomey, Republican of Pennsylvania, agreed, leaving nearly every vulnerable Republican incumbent backing Mr. McCon-nell’s pledge. Justice Scalia’s death has given Mr. nObama a tantalizing opportunity to reshape the Supreme Court, but cementing a lasting legacy on American jurisprudence will present a familiar challenge: breaking the will of Republicans.  http://www.truthrevolt.org/news/more-republicans-say-block-obama-nominee

{news.usni.org} ~ Leaders in Tokyo are now asking themselves more often what the United States would do if faced with simultaneous crises in the Middle East and the South China Sea, or on the Korean Peninsula... to keep the oil flowing to its industries, a leading Japanese foreign policy expert told a Brookings Institution forum Wednesday. Kuni Miyake, president of the Foreign Policy Institute, said in answer to a question that the “real issue is if China wants to keep the status quo . . . or change it” in keeping the sea lines of communications open in the South China Sea and the Indian Ocean. Realizing that more than 80 percent of its oil comes from the Middle East has long been a factor in how Japan views the region, Miyake and other speakers noted at the Washington, D.C., event; and the United States and Tokyo do not have identical interests in what happens there.        http://news.usni.org/2016/02/17/panel-japan-concerned-how-u-s-will-keep-sea-lines-open-if-simultaneous-crises-occur-in-asia-middle-east?utm_source=USNI+News&utm_campaign=04ebcfbe00-USNI_NEWS_DAILY&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_0dd4a1450b-04ebcfbe00-231491269&mc_cid=04ebcfbe00&mc_eid=3999f18767

USS Cole after 2000 al-Qaeda suicide attack
.
{news.usni.org} ~ Fifteen years after the terrorist bombing of the USS Cole (DDG-67) that killed 17 sailors, Navy ships and other deployed U.S. forces face real threat of attack by the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS or ISIL)... the former NATO supreme allied commander warned a defense conference in San Diego. “We have an organization that has demonstrated they are highly innovative. I don’t rule out a Cole-like event,” retired Adm. James G. Stavridis told a breakfast audience kicking off the start of the three-day West 2016 conference, cosponsored by the U.S. Naval Institute and AFCEA International. The Oct. 12, 2000, bombing of the Burke-class destroyer was attacked by two suicide bombers who approached the ship in a speedboat during a refueling stop in the port of Aden, Yemen. Another 39 sailors were wounded in the attack that investigators determined was planned by an al-Qaida cell and directed by Osama bin Laden.    http://news.usni.org/2016/02/17/west-former-nato-commander-stavridis-warns-isis-could-strike-marine-corps-navy-fleet?utm_source=USNI+News&utm_campaign=04ebcfbe00-USNI_NEWS_DAILY&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_0dd4a1450b-04ebcfbe00-231491269&mc_cid=04ebcfbe00&mc_eid=3999f18767

{dailysignal.com} ~ Two federal agencies put out misinformation and inconsistent explanations of the government’s role in the Gold King Mine blowout and water contamination in Colorado last summer, a congressional report says... The report specifically faults the Environmental Protection Agency and Department of the Interior for their actions related to the Aug. 5 incident, in which 3 million gallons of water laced with mercury, arsenic, and other toxic metals spilled into a creek and rivers near Silverton, Colo., after EPA workers excavated a tunnel entrance to the mine. “This report peels back one more layer in what many increasingly view as a pattern of deception on the part of the EPA and Department of Interior,” Rep. .
{freedomsback.com} ~ It is a measure of the stature and the significance of Justice Antonin Scalia that, upon the news of his death at a hunting lodge in Texas, Washington was instantly caught up in an unseemly quarrel over who would succeed him.
.
But no one can replace Justice Scalia.
.
He was a giant among jurists. For a third of a century, he led the conservative wing of the high court, creating a new school of judicial thought called “originalism.”
.
But originalism is not conservatism, which, in the judicial era that preceded Scalia, often meant court decisions that “conserved” the radical social revolution Earl Warren’s court had imposed upon us.
.
Scalia believed in going back to the founding documents of the republic and discerning from them the original meaning and intent of the framers.
.
He would look at the purpose of the authors of the Constitution, the Bill of Rights and post-Civil War amendments, and conclude that it was an absurdity to discover there, or read into them, a constitutional right to have an abortion or to marry someone of the same sex.
.
The words Scalia used to ridicule such nonsense did as much to discredit majority opinions as did his dissenting votes.
.
I remember being called into the office of White House Chief of Staff Don Regan, 30 years ago, to be informed that the judge whom Ronald Reagan would name to replace William Rehnquist, who had been named Chief Justice, would be U.S. Appellate Court Judge Antonin Scalia.
.
Regan was grinning at me as he made the announcement, and I let out of a whoop of victory. Since Nixon days, some of us had argued for naming an Italian Catholic to the high court. Yet, all six of Nixon’s nominees, and the only nominee of Gerald Ford, were WASPs.
.
Scalia’s death removes the court’s most brilliant mind and most colorful member. Personable, witty, acerbic, a fine writer, he used his opinions, mostly dissents, not only to make his case but to skewer the majority opinion.
.
And while Sen. Mitch McCon-nell may be faulted for not waiting a decent interval after Scalia’s death to declare that the Senate will not confirm any nObama nominee to succeed Scalia, the majority leader’s position is exactly the right one for the party.
.
Some of us in the Nixon campaign of 1968 still recall how Chief Justice Earl Warren, fearing his old antagonist Richard Nixon might be elected, offered his resignation to LBJ in June of 1968, but contingent on Senate confirmation of a successor. The fix was in.
.
Johnson nominated Justice Abe Fortas, a crony, to succeed Warren and Judge Homer Thornberry of Texas, another crony, to fill the Fortas seat. Nixon, urged by his old friend William Rogers, Ike’s attorney general, stayed out of the battle. Some of us did not.
.
Senate Republicans, led by Bob Griffin of Michigan and including John Tower, Howard Baker and Strom Thurmond, held up the vote on Fortas, until they had enough support to sustain a filibuster and run out the clock. In October, Fortas threw in the towel.
.
The following spring, President Nixon named U.S. Appellate Court Judge Warren Burger to succeed Earl Warren as chief justice.
.
The GOP Senate majority should follow the example of that gutsy Senate Republican minority of half a century ago. The window for any Supreme Court nominees should be slammed shut — until 2017.
.
Republicans should tell our “transformative” president that his days of transforming America are over, that he will not be remaking the court into a bastion of the left after his departure, and that, while he has the right to nominate whom he wishes, the U.S. Senate will exercise its right to reject any nominee he sends up. If the court will then face many 4-4 decisions for the next year, so be it.
.
Given the divisions on the court and balance of power, and the disposition of liberal justices to impose upon the nation an ideology that would never be embraced democratically, the Republican Party is almost duty-bound to oppose any nObama nominee.
.
What kind of Supreme Court do the American people wish to have? That is a question to be decided in 2016 — not by a lame-duck president, but by the American electorate in November.
.
Does the nation want an activist judiciary to remake America into a more liberal society, as Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Elena Kagan and Sonia Sotomayor would like to see it remade?
.
Or do the American people want a more constitutional court that returns power to the people and their elected representatives?
.
Let’s have it out.
.
Republicans should tell the American people that when they vote in November they will be deciding not only the next president, not only which party shall control Congress, they will be deciding what kind of Supreme Court their country should have. Which is as it should be.
.
If the GOP can’t win this argument, they have lost the country.
.

How Scalia and Ted Cruz Saved the 2nd Amendment

Since the passing of Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, the GOP presidential field has, in a rare show of unity, supported Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s statement that Scalia’s replacement should be determined by the results of the November election. Democratic hypocrites like Sen. Chuck Schumer accuse the GOP of obstructionism, the memory of their blocking of George W. Bush nominees having faded.

GOP Should Follow Democrat Precedent for  Once   "The Constitution is not a living organism. ... It's a legal document, and it says what it says and doesn't say what it doesn't say." —Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia
News of Antonin Scalia's death was like a kick to the gut for conservatives. Scalia long has been the anchor of the conservative wing of the court. He was a champion of "originalism" — the philosophy of interpreting the Constitution according to the intentions of the men who wrote it. His jurisprudential brilliance and his sharp wit were legendary, and even though he spent most of his career on the Court in the minority, he had more influence in the minority than his lesser colleagues had in the majority. Such was the high quality of his legal reasoning.
His loss is devastating and cannot be overstated.
His passing also throws a huge curve ball into the political circus that is the presidential election year. Constitutionally, Barack nObama is well within his powers to nominate another justice to replace Scalia, even if that nominee will inevitably be a far left-wing radical with barely disguised contempt for the Constitution as originally written. After all, it should not be surprising for a radical leftist president to nominate a radical leftist judge who shares his view that the Constitution "reflected the fundamental flaw of this country."
At Saturday night's GOP debate, pretty much every Republican frowned on the idea of nObama, with less than a year left in office, nominating another justice, and most said the Senate should block any nObama nominee. Predictably, Democrats are outraged at the thought of nObama not getting his choice confirmed.
What short memories they have.  -The Patriot Post
.
Man Who Tramples Constitution Now Pleads Its  Case   By playing political games with the pick for the next Supreme Court justice to replace the late Antonin Scalia, Democrat leaders are demonstrating their blatant hypocrisy. In response to the advice from Republican senators to let the next president make the pick, Barack nObama insisted he would still nominate a candidate. He's merely trolling with fake concern over the Constitution. "There's no unwritten law that says it can only be done on off years," nObama said Tuesday. "That's not in the constitutional text. I'm amused when I hear people who claim to be strict interpreters of the Constitution suddenly reading into it a whole series of provisions that are not there." The Constitution is also pretty clear about the president's enumerated powers in other areas too, and that hasn't stopped nObama from trampling it. Yes, nObama has an enumerated power to nominate Supreme Court judges, and Republican senators aren't saying he doesn't — they're saying he should wait. But nObama is setting up a straw-man argument. He's misrepresenting the senators, saying they are forbidding him from even nominating a candidate.
In order to embarrass Republican lawmakers further, nObama hinted that he would pick a "moderate" judge that Republican senators might reconsider approving — one who will be impartial, and look to precedent yet employ their "own ethics and moral bearings" in decisions. If that isn't a dog-whistle for legislating from the bench, we don't know what is.
Talking about misrepresenting comments, Sen. Chuck Schumer is backpedaling on comments made in 2007 during the approval process for justices nominated by President George W. Bush. Now that the tables have turned, the Democrat is saying his comments are being mischaracterized. But they're pretty clear:
"The Supreme Court is dangerously out of balance," Schumer said at the time. "We cannot afford to see Justice Stevens replaced by another Roberts; or Justice Ginsburg by another Alito. Given the track record of this President and the experience of obfuscation at the hearings, with respect to the Supreme Court, at least: I will recommend to my colleagues that we should not confirm a Supreme Court nominee EXCEPT in extraordinary circumstances."
Senators all took oaths to support and defend the Constitution. This is why they need to reject the nominee from a president whose executive actions and favored laws have again and again been unconstitutional. nObama cannot judge when someone holds constitutional values when he himself can't judge his own actions.  -The Patriot Post
.
Oh, You Mean That Article II?
One of Justice Antonin Scalia's final rulings from the bench was to block implementation of the EPA's Clean Power Plan pending the outcome of a lawsuit filed by more than two dozen states. That irony notwithstanding, the nObama administration is pledging to trudge forward with the Paris climate treaty (more on that below) with or without the power plant emissions overhaul. Todd Stern, U.S. Special Envoy for Climate Change, said yesterday, "It is entirely premature, really premature to assume the Clean Power Plan will be struck down but, even if it were, come what may, we are sticking to our plan to sign, to join [the UN accord]. We're going to go ahead and sign the agreement this year."
Stern's remarks are all the more intriguing given the timing of the rhetorical fight over Scalia's successor. Barack nObama is barking at Republicans for daring to block any Supreme Court nominee, which is not only their right but their prerogative. Meanwhile, in a new op-ed, Senate Minority Leader Harry dinky-Reid warned, "We are entering uncharted waters in the history of the U.S. system of checks and balances, with potentially momentous consequences."
Article II, Section 2, Clause 2 of the Constitution says that the president "shall have Power, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, to make Treaties, provided two thirds of the Senators present concur." Wait — isn't the Paris agreement a treaty? Well, yes. So why isn't the Senate voting on it? Because nObama, just like dinky-Reid did as majority leader, changed the rules. Knowing the agreement would never pass a Republican-majority Senate, the administration scripted the agreement as not legally binding to avoid a congressional smackdown. nObama and dinky-Reid have a lot of chutzpah accusing Republicans of contorting the Constitution when circumventing its checks and balances is all they do.   -The Patriot Post

{wallstreetdaily.com} ~ By now, we’re all familiar with the oil share war initiated by Saudi Arabia against other oil producers, mainly the United States... Investors are still trying to adjust to all the ramifications from the resulting lower oil prices. I’m here to tell investors to get ready for even more turmoil in the energy sector. The reason? The looming natural gas share and price war to be launched by Russia’s gas giant,  Gazprom (OGZPY), later this year.        http://www.wallstreetdaily.com/2016/02/17/lng-natural-gas-price/

{lidblog.com} ~ According to Hilly Clinton  she was asked to turn over her emails in October 2014... However according to documents released by Judicial Watch today, the agency asked Clinton to return emails three months earlier in July 2014. Which means another Hilly lie has been exposed. And there’s more. These documents were part of a 189 pages of Clinton records, turned over the Judicial Watch based on their FOIA lawsuit Judicial Watch, Inc. v. U.S. Department of State (No. 1:15-cv-00687)) designed to get all of Ms. Clinton’s correspondence and records about her email practices. One email from Cheryl Mills, Hilly Clinton’s former counselor and chief of staff, to David E. Wade, then-chief of staff to John hanoi-Kerry, shows that the State Department asked for the Clinton emails in July 2014. And she followed up a month later.        http://lidblog.com/another-hillary-lie-state-asked-clinton-for-her-emails-much-earlier-than-she-claimed/?utm_source=The+Lid+List&utm_campaign=0544175549-RSS_EMAIL_CAMPAIGN&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_597b72c01c-0544175549-291705165

{theeconomiccollapseblog.com} ~ After a series of stunning declines through the month of January and the first half of February, global financial markets seem to have found a patch of relative stability at least for the moment... But that does not mean that the crisis is over. On the contrary, all of the hard economic numbers that are coming in from around the world tell us that the global economy is coming apart at the seams. This is especially true when you look at global trade numbers. The amount of stuff that is being bought, sold and shipped around the planet is falling precipitously. So don’t be fooled if stocks go up one day or down the next. The truth is that we are in the early chapters of a brand new economic meltdown, and I believe that all of the signs indicate that it will continue to get worse in the months ahead. Unaccompanied Alien Children Charged in Execution-Style Murder, Media Calls
Them “Baby-Faced Boys”
Judicial Watch
.
{judicialwatch.org} ~ It appears that the recent execution-style murder of a Massachusetts man was committed by two Central American teens that came to the U.S. as Unaccompanied Alien Children (UAC) under President nObama’s open border free-for-all... Tens of thousands of illegal immigrant minors—mostly from El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras—have entered the country through the Mexican border since the influx began in the summer of 2014 and the administration has relocated them nationwide. News reports indicate that the 17-year-olds charged in the gruesome Massachusetts killing entered the U.S. recently as UAC’s and both have ties to MS-13, according to authorities cited by various outlets. They lived in Everett and one of the teens, Cristian Nunez-Flores, moved to Massachusetts from his native El Salvador a year and a half ago which is when the influx of Central American minors began. His parents remain in El Salvador, according to a local news article. The other gangbanger’s name is Jose Vasquez Ardon and he too is a recent arrival from Central America. Prosecutors say the teens, described in a local news article as “baby-faced boys,” shot a 19-year-old in the head. Both are being held without bail for obvious reasons.       http://www.judicialwatch.org/blog/2016/02/unaccompanied-alien-children-charged-in-execution-style-murder-media-calls-them-baby-faced-boys/?utm_source=SilverpopMailing&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Judicial%20Watch%20Tipsheet%20-%20Template%202%20(9)&utm_content=

{punchingbagpost.com} ~ As we predicted back in November, today’s low oil prices won’t be around for long. This week, both Russia and Saudi Arabia made tentative offers to freeze oil output... in an effort to halt the ongoing slide that has sent the price of crude oil to levels we haven't seen in over a decade. It was rumored a couple months ago that these low prices were a strategy by Saudi Arabia and other OPEC nations to kill off the threat from shale producers in the US. It seems they couldn’t hold off any longer. Major oil producers met behind closed doors this Tuesday to formulate a plan to combat plummeting oil prices. Alexander Novak – Russia’s energy minister – announced that his country has agreed with Qatar, Venezuela, and Saudi Arabia to freeze oil production at last month’s levels if other producers follow suit. This announcement reflects major oil producers’ concerns about the economic effects of the ongoing slump in crude oil prices.        http://punchingbagpost.com/middle-east-to-freeze-oil-output

{constitutionrising.com} ~ Senator Jeff Sessions is a senior member of the Senate Judiciary Committee which is the location for a hearing on a Supreme Court nominee... The question is when such a hearing will take place and whose nominee will it be. Sessions, as an attorney and former Alabama Attorney General is familiar with the process. Megyn Kelly notes the difference in what is clearly the political posturing of Hussein nObama from when he was a US Senator attempting to filibuster the nomination of Samuel Alito to the Supreme Court and today. Now nObama has conveniently discovered a new respect and fondness for the document he has spent seven years in an effort to eliminate, the US Constitution. Senator Sessions doesn’t hold back in his criticism of nObama, saying, “He’s been totally hypocritical and inconsistent on that. {restoreamericanglory.com} ~ The National Sheriff’s Association released a statement this week decrying the “senseless killing” of law enforcement officers that has plagued the nation in recent days... After five police officers were killed in a four-day period this week, the Association drew a sharp line from the violence to the controversial halftime show at last Sunday’s Super Bowl. “The senseless killing of four law enforcement officers just this week – on the heels of the anti-police “entertainment” at the Sunday Super Bowl halftime show – reminds us that the men and women in law enforcement take a solemn oath that includes putting their lives on the line every day to protect our citizens,” said the Association. They aren’t the only ones concerned about the recent uptick in violence. The 'progressive' itch to regulate speech
GEORGE F. WILL
.
{triblive.com} ~ Bernie Sanders, greedy for power to punish people he considers greedy, has occasioned 2016's best joke reported in Bloomberg Businessweek: “In the Bernie Sanders drinking game, every time he mentions a free government program, you drink someone else's beer.”
.
But neither Sanders' nor Hilly Clinton's hostility to the First Amendment is amusing. Both have voted to do something never done before — make the Bill of Rights less protective. They favor amending the First Amendment to permit government regulation of political campaign speech. Hence, they embrace “progressivism's” logic, as it has been explained separately and disapprovingly, by two eminent economists, Ronald Coase and Aaron Director:
.
There is no reason the regulatory, redistributive state should distinguish between various markets. So, government that is competent and duty-bound to regulate markets for goods and services to promote social justice is competent and duty-bound to regulate the marketplace of ideas for the same purpose.
.
Sanders and Clinton detest the Supreme Court's 2010 Citizens United decision, which they say their court nominees will promise to reverse. It held that unions and corporations — especially incorporated advocacy groups, from the National Rifle Association to the Sierra Club — can engage in unregulated spending on political advocacy that is not coordinated with candidates or campaigns.
.
The decision simply recognized that Americans do not forfeit their First Amendment rights when they come together in incorporated entities to magnify their voices by speaking collectively.
.
Opposition to Citizens United is frequently distilled into the slogan that “corporations are not people,” to which Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., adds this example of “progressive” insight: “People have hearts. They have kids. They get jobs. They get sick. They cry. They dance. They live. They love. And they die.”
.
A few teach at Harvard Law School, as Warren was able to do only because Harvard did not die: It is descended from the first corporation chartered in Colonial America.
.
Surely she learned in law school something she can relearn by reading “Are Corporations People?” in National Affairs quarterly by Carson Holloway of the University of Nebraska, Omaha. The concept of corporate personhood, he says, is not an invention of today's conservatives. It derives from English common law and is “deeply rooted in our legal and constitutional tradition.”
.
William Blackstone, the English jurist who richly influenced America's Founders, said corporations are “artificial persons” created to encourage socially useful cooperation among individuals, and are accorded certain rights so that they can hold property and have lives, identities and missions that span multiple generations. Early in America's history, many for-profit corporations were less important than the nonprofit educational and religious corporations that still produce America's robust civil society of freely cooperating citizens.
.
If corporations had no rights of personhood, they would have no constitutional protections against, for example, the arbitrary search and seizure by government of their property without just compensation. There would be no principled reason for denying the right of free speech the First Amendment does not use the word “person” in guaranteeing it to for-profit (e.g., The New York Times) or nonprofit (e.g., the NAACP) corporations.
.
In his attack on the Bill of Rights, Sanders voted to exempt for-profit media corporations from government regulation of corporate speech. Why? Because such corporations — alone among for-profit and nonprofit corporations — are uniquely altruistic and disinterested? Please.
.
In 2007, in a Cato Institute lecture, Judge Janice Rogers Brown of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit warned us that people who are eager to weaken protection of private property to enable government to redistribute wealth will also want to weaken constitutional protections of free speech to empower government to redistribute ideas.
.
Since then, college campuses have been responsive to people eager to regulate what others say, hear and see. Now, in the name of campaign finance reform, “progressives” like Sanders and Clinton want to expand government's regulatory reach to political speech.
.
Both are ardent for equality and, as Brown foresaw, the argument for economic equality easily becomes an argument for equalizing political influence. The argument is: Government regulates or seizes property in the name of equity, so why not also, for the same reason, regulate the quantity, content and timing of speech intended to “influence elections?”
.
“Progressives,” with their collectivist itch, are ever eager to break private institutions to the saddle of the state and fill private spaces with regulations. Do they consider government uniquely altruistic and disinterested? Please.
.

Hilly, Bill and Osama — Fact vs. Fiction
During Saturday's GOP debate, Marco Rubio made the point that "Bill Clinton didn't kill Osama bin Laden when he had the chance to kill him." Naturally, Hilly Clinton took issue with that factual assertion. "Yes, there was an effort to kill him," she conceded. "Based on the intelligence that was available, missiles struck what was thought to be a training camp. So it wasn't like there wasn't an effort." Then she added, "I see somebody like Senator Rubio just twisting himself into pretzels, trying to appeal to the base of his party — to try to say things that have no common sense or merit to them."
She is, of course, dead wrong. As Mark Alexander wrote in 2006, "The fact is, during his eight years in office, Clinton had numerous opportunities to capture or kill Osama, but refused. Air Force Lt. Col. Robert Patterson, who carried the 'nuclear football' codes for the Clinton administration, notes, '[W]e could have prevented the bombing of the U.S.S. Cole, we could have prevented 9/11 and we could have prevented the bombings of the embassies in Africa if President Clinton had taken one of these opportunities. ... We had eight chances at least to either nab bin Laden or to kill him.' Michael Scheuer, former CIA chief of the team responsible for hunting bin Laden, confirmed that prior to 9/11 SpecOps had two opportunities when Osama was literally in their sights, but Clinton pulled the plug on both operations.
"Additionally, after 9/11, Clinton admitted he turned down an opportunity to take custody of bin Laden: 'He was expelled from Saudi Arabia in 1991, then he went to Sudan, and we'd been hearing that the Sudanese wanted America to start dealing with them again. They released him.  CIA Chief: Islamic State Will Try to Strike  America   In an interview  with CBS's "60 Minutes" Sunday, CIA Director John Brennan warned the Islamic State (ISIS) will eventually try to strike the American homeland. "I'm expecting them to try to put in place the operatives, the material or whatever else that they need to do, or to incite people to carry out these attacks," Brennan said. "So I believe that their attempts are inevitable. I don't think their successes necessarily are. ... Paris was a failure of intelligence. All but one of the eight terrorists were French citizens, trained by ISIS in Syria. They returned, unnoticed, and attacked six locations killing 130 people."
Brennan's is similar to the threat assessment given by James Clapper, director for National Intelligence, when he told the Senate Armed Services Committee last week that the Islamic State would attack within the U.S. He added, "In my 50-plus years in the intelligence business, I cannot recall a more diverse array of challenges and crises that we confront as we do today." Of course, Brennan is anticipating a scenario where the Americans who traveled to fight with the Islamic State attempt to return to our shores. "We've contained them," Barack nObama once said of the Islamic State — just as the attacks in Paris were underway. But that assessment doesn't take into account home grown terrorism, the kind already seen in Chattanooga, San Bernardino and Fort Hood.

slump-Trump Accuses RNC of Making the  Primary Race Unfair  Donald slump-Trump took aim at the Republican National Committee this week, saying the results of the last debate prove that the party is in violation of the loyalty pledge slump- Trump signed in September. slump-Trump performed poorly during Saturday's debate. While slump-Trump rose in popularity due to his rhetoric on immigration, the recent debate revolved around the death of Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia — and the issue only served to highlight the real estate mogul's poor record on the judiciary. When slump-Trump tried to attack Jeb Bush for his brother's handling of 9/11 and the war in Iraq, the audience booed him. To slump-Trump, it meant that the RNC conspired to stack the audience against him, filling seats with "Jeb's special interests and lobbyists," never thinking that there might be some voters who realize he's no friend to the conservative cause and gave him the appropriate response for his foolish comments.
But in slump-Trump-land, that's not fair, which should absolve him from his pledge to support the eventual GOP nominee, whoever that may be. "I signed a pledge but it's a double-edge pledge, and as far as I'm concerned they're in default of the pledge," slump-Trump said at one of his South Carolina rallies. Commentator Allahpundit believes slump-Trump's whining is political bluster aimed at drumming up anti-establishment fervor. But if slump-Trump decides to damage the GOP, he could announce a third-party run — something he threatened in the past. Mark Alexander wrote, "This sounds like a set up — 'I'm being treated unfairly, thus I will run third-party to insure a Democrat victory in 2016!'"

{thenewamerican.com} ~ Brazenly defying United Nations member governments from around the world, the UN decided to promote  homosexuality, same-sex parenting, transgenderism, and other controversial agendas on a series of commemorative postage stamps... It is the next step in the UN's divisive “Free and Equal” campaign, which claims to have reached a billion people with its propaganda so far. Around the world, though, critics of the so-called LGBT agenda — Lesbian, “Gay,” Bisexual, and Transgender — expressed outrage, slamming the UN and calling on pro-LGBT zealot Secretary-General Ban Ki Moon to apologize and even resign. The UN boss similarly came under fire just last year after publicly celebrating homosexual “marriage” and a child molester known for raping underage boys. http://www.thenewamerican.com/world-news/europe/item/22546-defying-members-un-pushes-homosexual-agenda-with-postal-stamps

{thenewamerican.com} ~ Further illustrating what would at least appear to be the incredible absurdity of what passes for U.S. government “foreign policy,” Sunni jihadist “rebels” in Syria backed by al-Qaeda and the nObama administration have been battling against Shia militias that have also been backed by nObama... Both sides are fighting with American weapons, according to news reports. How much money U.S. taxpayers forked over to arm the two warring Islamic factions was not immediately clear. But the enormous human tragedy on the ground is getting worse quickly. The latest battle between feuding nObama-backed forces was first reported by the far-left Daily Beast, which tends to serve as a mouthpiece for the administration and its agenda. In a story headlined “U.S. Allies Now Fighting CIA-Backed Rebels,” the online publication reported: “Not long ago, U.S. jets and Shia militias worked together to battle ISIS. Today, those militias are trying to take down American proxies in Syria.” Those American proxies, nObama's jihadist Syrian “rebels,” are fighting alongside al-Qaeda's Syrian affiliate, al Nusra, a top beneficiary of nObama policies.  nObama has no ideal what's he doing. http://www.thenewamerican.com/world-news/asia/item/22541-in-syria-obama-backed-rebels-battle-obama-backed-militias

.
{punchingbagpost.com} ~ The people of the UK have spoken. A new petition launched by angry Britons has demanded that President nObama not be allowed to speak in Parliament regarding a referendum on European Union (EU) membership... So far, the petition has received over 4,000 signatures from people calling upon British officials to prevent nObama from influencing Britain to stay in the European Union. The petition needs to hit 10,000 signatures in order to get a response from the government, and 100,000 signatures to have the issue debated in parliament. This petition comes on the heels of a report from The Guardian that stated nObama is planning to persuade Britain to stay in the European Union. Secretary of State John hanoi-Kerry also noted that the U.S. has a “profound interest” in a “strong UK staying inside a strong European Union.”        http://punchingbagpost.com/british-citizens-petition-to-stop-obama-influence

{truthrevolt.org} ~ Anyone who moronically labels Israel an "apartheid state" should look to the country's diverse legislature, or Knesset... Members of Knesset (MKs) come from all walks of life -- race, religion and creeds. In fact, sadly some Knesset members don't even think Israel should exist at all leaving us to wonder where said Knesset member would plan on living and working. Case in point: Israeli Arab MK Haneen Zoabi penned a February 14 opinion column in the American publication  Newsweek, in which she declared that Israel does not have the right to self-defense because it is an "occupying power." She wrote: ‘Self-defense’ is the expression the Israelis use in order to justify any extra-judiciary executions as well as their control over others’ lives. However, there can be no justification for killing, nor for oppression. The occupier does not have the right to self-defense. We, the occupied, have the full and only right to fight it, by all means recognized within the framework of international law and supported by the international community. Zoabi also claimed that terrorists killed by authorities while committing terrorist acts are innocent victims, too. Zoabi is deadly wrong.   http://www.truthrevolt.org/news/arab-mk-pens-op-ed-israelis-not-entitled-self-defense

slump-Trump Camp FABRICATES Quote of Tom Coburn In Order To Smear Ted Cruz

{redstate.com} ~ This tweet probably alarmed a lot of people. Dan Scavino, of the slump-Trump campaign, claimed that Tom Coburn trashed Ted Cruz as “without a doubt, one of the most dishonest people in DC.”... That would indeed be a scandalous and damaging thing if it had happened. But it didn’t happen. It’s a lie. So it is presented as a quote, and retweeted by The slump-Donald himself. No clean hands here. And of course, that’s because there is no quote from Tom Coburn saying that. Instead, some liberal blogger spewed that nonsense. This is from the story that Scavino and slump-Trump linked: The ForwardProgressives writer said that about Cruz. The slump-Trump camp took that line from the article, and in a tweet, faked it as a “quote” from Senator Tom Coburn. And here is what’s more: Tom Coburn is ticked off about it!

{aim.org} ~ The president’s climate change order makes war fighting harder
.
When you want to take a country down, the first thing you do is weaken its military. That’s why “sequestration” turned out to be the perfect storm for the nObama administration. It provided the legal basis — actually, an excuse, as in “the budget made me do it” — for the unilateral disarmament of our military forces. Consequently, our forces have been degraded to levels not seen since prior to World War II, and in the Navy’s case, not since before World War I. It should be remembered that sequestration was an nObama administration initiative.
.
Compounding this disastrous situation, with all the instability and challenges we face throughout the world, our once-proud and uncontested military forces have also been subjected to debilitating social engineering directives. This is being done under the mantle of “diversity.” These include the removal of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell”; forcing women into all combat roles, including our Special Forces and Navy SEALs; and the integration of “transgender” personnel into the military. None of these directives enhance readiness or capability. Of course, the restricted Rules of Engagement our soldiers are forced to observe is another factor leading to the destruction of our military capability and effectiveness, as well as adding to the unnecessary loss of military lives.
.
The net effect has been to not only undermine the moral fiber of our military, but to adversely affect unit integrity, cohesiveness and most importantly, the “will to win.” We most recently saw an example of this with the capture of our two 47-foot heavily armed Riverine Command Boats in the Persian Gulf on Jan. 12 by two lightly armed Iranian center console craft. “Humiliation” describes it best. This was the darkest day for the U.S. Navy since the North Korean capture of the USS Pueblo.
.
Another directive that will adversely affect combat readiness and effectiveness is the recent Executive Order 13653, which directs all government agencies, including the Department of Defense, to prepare for the “impacts of climatic change.” The department last issued a broad directive on climate change in July 2015. President nObama has once again declared that climate change is our No. 1 national security threat. There is no doubt Russia, China, Iran and ISIS will certainly reinforce that view.
.
Consequently, the Pentagon has ordered all commanders down to the tactical unit level to incorporate “climate change” into every aspect of military operations, including combat, intelligence and surveillance, exercises, testing, procurement and whole hosts of other related areas, which are ill-defined. Mind-boggling.
.
The undersecretary of defense for acquisition, technology and logistics wrote the directive, which was approved by the Deputy Secretary of Defense Robert O. Work. It is understood that this directive provides numerous orders to service secretaries and the Joint Chiefs of Staff on how the strategy to counter climate change is to be incorporated into current war plans, operational plans and operation orders. What the secretary should have already known is that our operational planners always factor in climate and prevailing seasonal weather conditions, including all aspects of terrain. The single objective is winning — not satisfying some faculty-lounge, ill-conceived logic on debatable climate change.
.
Further, the directive orders a new layer of bureaucracy to include a wide array of “climate change boards, councils, and working groups” to ensure climate change is integrated into all programs, plan and policies. With the bloated bureaucracy we already have, we certainly cannot afford another one, particularly with the tight budget crisis we have.
.
Let’s face facts: military planners and operators must deal in reality. That reality is based on how to “win” wars with the least possible loss of life and protect this great nation’s security. Factoring “climate change” into our operational plans and orders makes no sense and is only going to add another layer of confusion and distraction from the principal objective of “winning.”
.
The claim by climate change proponents that there will be more frequent or severe weather events requiring substantial involvement by Department of Defense units is not supported by the U.N.’s most recent global warming predictions. Nonetheless, our military forces have shown over many decades that they are ready and capable to respond to any humanitarian crisis. There is no military in the world better than that of the United States for “projecting humanity.” Fortunately, even though diminished, we still have the capability to project power.
.
The climate change proponents are cut from the same cloth as the social engineers who have never served in the military and never will, and who will never bear any of the responsibilities of the negative impact they have forced on our military forces. They particularly ignore the unnecessary military casualties suffered as a result of these ill-conceived directives. The Joint Chiefs of Staff should continue to take a strong position against these debilitating directives, which adversely affect our military forces’ readiness and capabilities. Nothing less is acceptable.

Nov 2016: Where Are We Heading?

SC Governor, Nikki Haley, endorsed Rubio.  I

I've always liked the gov. Still do.  I can understand why she'd do this.

My biggest issue w/ Rubio has been "The Gang Of Eight" fiasco.  But, for years now I've been saying that even Reagan had made his mistakes w/ that issue as well.  Yet, Reagan agreed to amnesty under an agreement w/ the Ds that they'd address the border problems, etc. Yes, it was naive.  But, I never doubted his faith in God; his love of country; or his respect for States' sovereignty and INDIVIDUAL Rights as well.

Yes.  Rubio did drop the ball on immigration policy.  BUT, I have no doubt that he loves OUR country and the Rights of Freedom and Liberty that the Founders and Framers promised to HONOR, PROTECT and DEFEND thru our Constitution.

I think Haley has questions about Cruz's eligibility; and, although I do like Cruz a lot, he was born in Canada, kept a dual citizenship, and his father was not born in America.

Where am I going w/ this?  That perhaps MANY others are thinking the same way.  From what I'm seeing, those that favor Cruz and/or Rubio (and Carson as well) will not move towards Trump at all - should the pressures of the eligibility question continues to be the headline; and Trump will see to that.

Can Hillary win?  YES!  Because of Trump. And because many continue having that "savior" mindset.  The last time the nation had such an irrational level of fanaticism was in 2012 w/ Ron Paul.  How did that turn out?  Today, again, just like in every other election cycle, the mindset is STILL vote-for-the-lesser-evil; and the Anybody-but-a-Hillary or Bernie seems to still be going strgno.

I see Einstein... I see Rod Serling...  I see robots voting again...  I see yet another 2012 result.

Sorry, folks.  I can't post anything positive -- if nothing DIFFERENT is occurring!

Oh, wait a sec. My bad!  There are "differences"!  The nation is MORE irrational!  MORE divided!  MORE to the far left! MORE violent!  And LESS reasonable or approachable by each other.

I've been saying this since 2013 now: In the end,  the majority in 2016 will be choose an out and out socialist;  or a closet fascist.   It has already started w/ Obama's having GOTTEN AWAY w/ ALL of his  Exec Orders thus far.

I've even read posts where the Trup-bots had said that they'd ACCEPT IT if Trump did the SAME THINGS.  Their "rationale"?  Because Trump would be doing it "for the good of the people, and the country"!   Wasn't that the screaming far left believed about Obama, back in 2008 as well?!

 The South Carolina Cage Fight
Saturday night's Republican debate in South Carolina featured some of the most vitriolic fratricidal infighting yet. Or as political analyst Charles Krauthammer wryly observed, "We went here from WWE to the UFC. This was a cage fight of the sort that I don't think we have seen at the presidential level before." Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio got rather ugly at times. Silver-spooners Jeb Bush and Donald slump-Trump went after each other even more harshly. Of course, slump-Trump went after everybody, from George W. Bush to the audience, and he was generally more angry and agitated than we've seen him. The end result was that John Kasich looked like the most reasonable man on stage, usually aiming his fire at Democrats. (If we hear Ben Carson offer the "thanks for including me in the debate" line one more time...)
At times, we weren't sure it was a Republican debate. Despite his civil demeanor, Kasich argued for the virtues of nObamaCare /Medicaid expansion, while slump-Trump commended the wonderful efforts of Planned Parenthood and sounded like a Democrat on Social Security. Worse, slump-Trump practically made an in-kind contribution to MoveOn and other leftist groups with his 9/11-truther and Bush-lied-on-Iraq nonsense. slump-Trump decidedly did not get Iraq right, and he slandered most Republican voters with his false line of attack. Fortunately, Rubio did get it right when he defended Bush for using the intelligence we had at the time, and when he faulted Bill Clinton for his failure to follow intelligence and take out Osama bin Laden. Too few Republicans are willing to make that case.
National Review's Jim Geraghty sums it up: "If the Republican Party wants to nominate a man who thinks Bush could have prevented 9/11 but chose not to, who knew Iraq had no WMDs and lied the country into war anyway, who sneers and shouts and bellows and interrupts and accuses everyone else of lying... if a majority of South Carolina Republicans look at all that and give it the thumbs up ... then yeah, maybe it isn't my party anymore."
This coming Saturday's South Carolina primary could thin the field further. We certainly hope that's the case, anyway, because it's time to begin consolidating the not-slump-Trump vote.

slump-Trump's Political Attack on Cruz's  Citizenship   Donald slump-Trump is bluffing. On Friday, ahead of the GOP debate, slump-Trump  tweeted, "If @TedCruz doesn't clean up his act, stop cheating, & doing negative ads, I have standing to sue him for not being a natural born citizen." Apparently, Cruz has been bringing the heat to slump-Trump's campaign, with his attack ads in South Carolina criticizing the real estate mogul for abusing eminent domain — using the government to take private property to give to another private party for personal use. In response to slump-Trump's previous rhetoric on Cruz's status, a Houston-based attorney filed a complaint in the federal court system, petitioning the Supreme Court to take up the question of what defines a natural-born citizen. Attorney Newton Schwartz wrote in his complaint, "This 229-year question has never been pled, presented to or finally decided by or resolved by the U.S. Supreme Court. Only the U.S. Supreme Court can finally decide, determine judicially and settle this issue now." We do have an answer to Cruz's citizenship, though. The ballot commission in New Hampshire and the Illinois Board of Elections ruled that yes, Cruz is eligible to hold the office of president.
The key word in slump-Trump's threat is "If." slump-Trump's move to sue is only dependent on Cruz's campaigning style and his standing in the polls. If slump-Trump actually thought he had a legal case, he would have already sued.   -The Patriot Post

Shock Study: Earth Acts Like a Sponge!
This should help coastal residents sleep a little better, at least for a while longer. According to nasa.gov, "A new study by scientists at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California, and the University of California, Irvine, shows that while ice sheets and glaciers continue to melt, changes in weather and climate over the past decade have caused Earth's continents to soak up and store an extra 3.2 trillion tons of water in soils, lakes and underground aquifers, temporarily slowing the rate of sea level rise by about 20 percent."
First, a quick primer. The hydrologic cycle occurs when precipitation that is deposited over land through the process of ocean evaporation gets recycled back into the ocean via tributaries. Minor disruptions in that process such as through "persistent regional changes in soil moisture or lake levels," says NASA, can altar "the rate of sea level rise from what we would expect based on ice sheet and glacier melt rates." But what scientists haven't been able to determine until now was how much water runoff gets sucked up by the earth. Satellite measurements now provide a clue. According to lead author J.T. Reager, "We always assumed that people's increased reliance on groundwater for irrigation and consumption was resulting in a net transfer of water from the land to the ocean. What we didn't realize until now is that over the past decade, changes in the global water cycle more than offset the losses that occurred from groundwater pumping, causing the land to act like a sponge — at least temporarily."
Alarmists will inevitably say this discovery doesn't change the overall threat posed by rising sea levels, which "97% of scientists" claim is linked to man-made global warming. We have another theory: Could it possibly be that something — say, our Creator — knew something we didn't and developed a system to handle naturally rising sea levels? Imagine that.    -The Patriot Post

{wallstreetdaily.com} ~ It’s a true tell of the state of the markets, when a tired old story sends oil rocketing about 10% higher in price... In this case, that “tired old story” is Venezuela calling for an emergency meeting of OPEC and Russia. Venezuela has a habit of calling for such meetings because its leftist government thinks oil should never sell below $100 per barrel. The market reaction tells me that the oil price has further to decline. Too many people are still too anxious to jump aboard the oil train before it leaves the station for the land of higher prices.        http://www.wallstreetdaily.com/2016/02/16/iran-oil-export-prices/

{lidblog.com} ~ Arguably Donald slump-Trump’s most controversial statement during Saturday night’s debate, was when he accused Bush #43 of lying to get us into Iraq... “They lied,” he said. “They said there were weapons of mass destruction. There were none, and they knew there were none.” While America is debating the real existential threat of terrorism metastasizing its way to our shores, and the President is still trying to figure out what to call the terrorist enemy, Donald slump-Trump has joined with the Democrats who are still running with blinding speed away from their original support for the Iraq War, by denying the the truth that WMDs and their components were during the Iraq war. According to a report in The NY Times last February, between 2005 and 2006 The CIA purchased approximately 400 nerve agent rockets from a seller in Iraq to make sure the chemical weapons would not fall into the hands of terrorists.        http://lidblog.com/sorry-mr-trump-but-they-found-evidence-of-wmds-during-iraq-war/?utm_source=The+Lid+List&utm_campaign=c170b3ef50-RSS_EMAIL_CAMPAIGN&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_597b72c01c-c170b3ef50-291705165#

{gatestoneinstitute.org} ~ The United Nations, Amnesty International and other groups have accused the Saudi-led coalition of war crimes in Yemen... A leaked UN report claims the bombing campaign against Iranian-supported Houthi insurgents seeking violently to topple the legitimate government of Yemen has conducted deliberate, widespread and systematic attacks on civilian targets. If the UN's assertion is true, and the coalition is deliberately and disproportionately killing thousands of innocent civilians, it is a war crime. But it is unlikely to be true. The UN has produced no actual evidence of war crimes. None of their allegations is based on investigation on the ground. Their experts have not been to Yemen, depending instead on hearsay evidence and analysis of photographs. The UN has a pattern of unsubstantiated allegations of war crimes against the armed forces of sovereign states. Only last year, without any military expertise, and never having visited Gaza, a UN commission convicted the Israel Defense Force of deliberately targeting innocent Palestinian civilians in the 2014 conflict. It was an assessment roundly rejected by America's most senior military officer, General Martin Dempsey, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

{frontpagemag.com} ~ This is dipping well into cover-up mode. This is beyond simple tampering with intelligence. Once records are being deleted, that's a coverup... This second set of accusations, which have not been previously reported, were made to the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI). They show that the officials charged with overseeing all U.S. intelligence activities were aware, through their own channels, of potential problems with the integrity of information on ISIS, some of which made its way to President nObama. The analysts have said that they believe their reports were altered for political reasons, namely to adhere to nObama administration officials’ public statements that the U.S.-led campaign against ISIS is making progress and has put a dent in the group’s financing and operations. And if the intel doesn't fit the White House spin, it has to be made to fit.  http://www.frontpagemag.com/point/261848/reports-showing-war-against-isis-wasnt-working-daniel-greenfield

{frontpagemag.com} ~ The sudden death of Justice Antonin Scalia has sharpened the divide between the progressives’ idea of technocratic federal power, and the Constitution’s limited government that Scalia eloquently championed for almost 30 years... This division has a long history that transcends the failed presidency of Barack nObama. The Democratic Party grew out of opposition to the elitist Federalists, whose president John Adams was known as “His Rotundity” for his girth and alleged aristocratic tendencies. James Madison in 1792 established the contrast between the two parties that persists to this day: the Federalists were “more partial to the opulent,” and believed that “government can be carried on only by the pageantry of rank, and the influence of money and emoluments.” Those who would become Democrats, Madison wrote, believed “in the doctrine that mankind are capable of governing themselves,” and he charged that power lodged “into the hands of the few” is “an insult to the reason and an outrage to the rights of man.” In short, the Democrats were about power to the people rather than to privileged elites. Two centuries later, the Democratic Party still uses the rhetoric of democracy, and castigates the Republicans as the tools of greedy corporations and crypto-fascist plutocrats––“Wall Street” and the “Koch brothers” being the shorthand for this nefarious cabal. Yet in their policies and practices, the Democrats are now the true elitists who have narrowed government “into the hands of the few,” even within their own party.  http://www.frontpagemag.com/fpm/261833/progressives-phony-democracy-bruce-thornton

Other news organizations later confirmed the account. Al-Shishani is a former American-trained officer in the Georgian special forces. {constitutionrising.com} ~ Maria Bartiromo apparently has the same level of trust with Speaker of the House Paul Ryan as most conservative Americans, none... She does an excellent job of attempting to pin down a slippery and evasive Ryan who obviously has plans to slide the TPP past us during the upcoming lame duck session of the House. He can’t admit it; the theatrical presentation requires that it look spontaneous and genuine to be effective. Noting that during the summer it was Ryan who was the chief salesman for the TPP in the House, she asks him where it stands now. Ryan can’t resist the opportunity to look important, saying, “Well, I wrote the law, the Trade Promotion Authority Law, which gives us the ability to go negotiate trade agreements and then gives Congress the final say so in whether or not we enter into a trade agreement.” Mr. “So proud of himself” doesn’t mention the fact that Congress has less of a voice, a one third threshold for approval, no ability to offer amendments, to ability to filibuster, and it is a simple yes or no vote. The role of Congress is greatly diminished.        http://constitutionrising.com/archives/26172

{peggynoonan.com} ~ You’ve heard all the Iowa analysis you need. It was a triumph for Cruz, a humbling for slump-Trump, a boost for Rubio. We’re all tired of talking about lanes, outsiders and establishment candidates. My read: Marco Rubio may emerge as the choice of those who prefer their candidate not be abnormal, by which I mean out sized or unsettling. This is arguably an underserved market on the GOP side. Mr. Rubio is young. What’s in that noggin beyond hunger? It will be interesting to find out.
.
Rick Santorum suspended his campaign. He didn’t catch on but was generally held in high regard. When voters think you’re a good guy but not the winner, they see to it that you leave as a good guy who’s not the winner. He seemed to me one of the Republicans most attuned to the shifting political moment—one who knows that certain old assumptions about the base no longer apply and maybe haven’t for some time. He did not emphasize traditional GOP themes of competition, opportunity, individualism. His concerns were more implicitly communal. Raise the minimum wage? Sure, help where you can. Of the candidates he seemed to have most absorbed Pope Francis’s Great Insight: that the modern world is a field hospital after battle. So in many ways is America 2016. John Kasich knows it also. He didn’t discover drug addiction and mental health issues by reading a long takeout in a magazine. He knows it because he lives with the people of Ohio.
.
Donald slump-Trump was dinged by Iowa, but not by losing—loss happens. He dinged himself, perhaps significantly, with his subsequent reaction. He was robbed, we need a recount, he may sue. Mr. slump-Trump’s supporters are derided as working-class knuckle-draggers and if it amuses you to see them that way you can, but his people respect style. There he let them down.
.
In politics—in life—you have to know how to lose. The presidency itself involves losing—the bill fails, the talks stall, your numbers plummet. You have to be supple, have some give. “All political careers end in failure”—you never get all you want and in the end you slink away or get thrown out. How to respond? You don’t whine, you don’t complain, you don’t act like a little rhymes-with-witch. You take it full in the face and keep walking. Anyone can win with style. A real champ knows how to lose.
.
The press is dying to write their “End of slump-Trump” pieces and will if he under performs in New Hampshire, where he’s long held a double-digit lead.
.
On the Democratic side, Hilly Clinton did not “win” Iowa; she had a near-death experience and emerged intact. In October she was winning by 41 points. Monday she effectively tied Bernie Sanders. She is now trying to limit the size of his expected New Hampshire victory.
.
She has been game and alert, especially Wednesday night in a town-hall interview with CNN’s Anderson Cooper. But the effect was marred by her answers on Goldman Sachs and the six-figure speech fees they paid her. Why so much? “I don’t know, um, that’s what they offered.” She added that at the time she didn’t know she would be running for president. It was reminiscent of Dan Quayle telling reporters in 1988 that yes he got into the National Guard and didn’t go to Vietnam, but when he made the decision, “I did not know . . . that I would be in this room today, I confess.” If he’d known of the future political necessity, this suggested, he would have gone to the stupid damn war. All the smart people who say Mr. Sanders cannot possibly beat Mrs. Clinton as the battle moves south are no doubt correct—and yet he is more in tune with the motivating spirit of his party right now than she is, so who knows?
.
A final small thing, though it’s really my headline regarding New Hampshire. On a recent trip I watched candidates in town halls and forums in middle-school gyms, community clubhouses, hotel ballrooms.
.
I keep thinking of the young woman, black, about 20, I saw departing a Sanders event with a friendly young Asian man the same age. Are you for Bernie? I asked. “Have you seen my T-shirt?” she replied, and opened her jacket: “Carson 2016.” I laughed and asked if she was trolling. She was startled. “No, we just go see all the candidates.”
.
This of course is a great New Hampshire cliché—they won’t vote for you unless they’ve met you three times. Yet when you see it, something stops you. Every adult in New Hampshire seems to go hear every candidate at least once. They listen and take their measure; they give it the most precious thing they have, time. They take their duty seriously not because they’re jerky and self-important but because they have self-respect. They believe they are the winnowers. Their function is to get the Reasonable Possibles, put down a marker on their favorite, and then throw it to the South.
.
At the meetings they don’t ask meek, deferential questions. I saw them lecture candidates, mildly upbraid them, inform them. At a Kasich town hall he was put through his paces on the integrity of state water reservoirs. At a Hilly rally she was pressed on protocols governing the U.S. nuclear arsenal. At a Jeb town hall a woman spoke of Iraq and said if the people who launched that war had known history they wouldn’t have gone in. What, she asked him, is the difference between a Shiite and a Sunni? Mr. Bush gave a brief, broadly accurate answer. “You’re partially right,” she said, and then delivered a precise lecture on the history of Islam, ending with the observation that if American policy makers really knew history they wouldn’t be throwing around phrases like “carpet bomb.”
.
They have complete democratic confidence. They’re not shy. They’re doing due diligence.
.
I would look at them in the audience: the frail old lady with thin white hair; the big, rough biker-looking guy; the pleasant middle-aged teacher; the silver-haired accountant with two young kids; the beat-up middle-aged woman with rheumy alcoholic eyes who is sweetly gracious, modest, as she moves to give you a seat; the obese, wild-haired man bursting out of his torn, cracked leather jacket; the giggly, chatty middle-aged redhead in the NoLabels.org sweatshirt; the Patti Smith-looking woman, tall, pale and austere; the hunky football player; the skinny hipster girl in architect eyeglasses and torn jeans. Everybody listening so closely to the candidates. Beret guy, too, with a white bandage on his eye and a beard that went down to the third button of his shirt. What a crew we are.
.
“They’re professional voters,” said a campaign operative at dinner. No, it is more than that. It is more like, “We may be a field hospital, we may be high, we may be damaged by the collapse of the American culture, we may be the prime victims of deindustrialization, but we are: citizens. And we do our job.”
.
“We will pick a president.”
.
Choked me up as I witnessed it. No joke. Choked me up.

Judge Scalia's Death-Natural Causes?

People who believe that most or all events are conspiracies are just as naive and unrealistic as those people who believe that there are no or very few conspiracies. The opening blog by Michael Savage says it all. When one side - usually the left - says that the right - that appears to be changing - doesn't want Obama to nominate a judge is doing it because of of politics - because the nominee will be somebody who is diametrically the opposite of them - is 100% correct. However, when they know that both sides do it and don't say that they are being hipocrates. I can't tell people how to defend their rights but in the last one or two debates I heard Sen. Rubio and Gov. Christie put something in the best way I could think of. They were both talking about the Second Admendment when Rubio said it "is not an option." And Chrisite said they didn't put the Second Admendment second for no reason.  The people who survived the Holocost and the people who come here from formerly Soviet blocked eastern European countries tell the people here "you ae going down the same road we went down." Some of them even say they might go back to where they came from because this country is going to be the same soon. When you don't know what you have you will lose it.

Look at the official record.  There are many votes where Rubio may say one thing, yet his official voting record may be the opposite.

This 1st vote shown was before Ted Cruz became a member of the Senate.  October 6, 2011, Vote 157:  Sen. Rubio voted with Sen. Harry Reid’s S. 1619  “Decision of the Chair (Shall the Decision of the Chair Stand as the Judgment of the Senate).  This was Sen. Reid’s decision on a ‘Nuclear Vote’ rather than requiring a 60 vote to proceed with any action. http://www.senate.gov/legislative/LIS/roll_call_lists/roll_call_vote_cfm.cfm?congress=112&session=1&vote=00157

The following represents opposite votes between Sen. Ted Cruz and Sen. Marco Rubio on critical issues.

January 29, 2013, Vote Number 5: Sen. Rubio voted ‘YEA’ PN42 On the Nomination (Confirmation John Forbes Kerry, of Massachusetts, to be Secretary of State)

http://www.senate.gov/legislative/LIS/roll_call_lists/roll_call_vote_cfm.cfm?congress=113&session=1&vote=00005

June 11, 2013, Vote Number 147:  Sen Rubio voted YEA for more ‘illegal’ immigration; S. 744 “Border Security, Economic Opportunity, and Immigration Modernization Act), A bill to provide for comprehensive immigration reform and for other purposes.” http://www.senate.gov/legislative/LIS/roll_call_lists/roll_call_vote_cfm.cfm?congress=113&session=1&vote=00147

June 18, 2013, Vote Number 151: Rubio voted NAY “To require the completion of the 350 miles of reinforced, double-layered fencing described in section 102(b)(1)(A) of the Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act of 1996 before registered provisional immigrant status may be granted and to require the completion of 700 miles of such fencing before the status of registered provisional immigrants may be adjusted to permanent resident status.”

http://www.senate.gov/legislative/LIS/roll_call_lists/roll_call_vote_cfm.cfm?congress=113&session=1&vote=00151

June 27, 2013, Vote Number 168: Rubio voted YEA with Sen. Schumer “S.Amdt. 1197 to S. 744 (Border Security, Economic Opportunity, and Immigration Modernization Act )

A bill to provide for comprehensive immigration reform and for other purposes.” http://www.senate.gov/legislative/LIS/roll_call_lists/roll_call_vote_cfm.cfm?congress=113&session=1&vote=00168

ON the entire Senate voting record, you ‘will not’ find one vote where Sen. Ted Cruz voted for ‘illegal’ immigration or ‘Amnesty’.

Justice Antonio Scalia — Farewell Nino
Our Republic has lost one of its most articulate defenders of Liberty and Rule of Law: Justice Antonio Scalia.
"Nino" to his close friends, Justice Scalia was the greatest Supreme Court jurist of modern times, and one of the greatest of all time. To say he will be missed is a gross understatement. In the words of his friend Paul J. Larkin Jr., a fellow at The Heritage Foundation, "More than 100 men and women have been justices of the Supreme Court. All decided the outcome of individual cases and made small changes in the law [but few] changed the course of the law. ... Scalia taught us that the law matters, that the law is the written word, and that the written word takes its meaning from how history understands it, not what we wish it might mean."
Justice Scalia was nominated by President Ronald Reagan in 1986 and affirmed soon thereafter by the Senate. He adhered strictly to the doctrine of constitutional originalism — the standard our Founders prescribed, reading the plain language of the U.S. Constitution for its original intent, then applying the historical context of the drafters when the plain-language meaning is not readily apparent. His constructionist interpretation led to a modern juridical revolt against activist judges, those who, as Thomas Jefferson warned, would treat "the Constitution [as] a mere thing of wax ... which they may twist and shape into any form they please." Scalia was an effective check on those activists endeavoring to usurp individual freedoms by promoting the errant notion of a "living constitution," treating it as "a mere thing of wax."
As a result of the more-than-century-long assault on the Constitution by activist and statist judges, Scalia's "back-to-the-future" return to traditional adherence to its original meaning was seen by many as "radical." On the contrary, it was simply rational — a quality the Supreme Court is in short supply of these days, especially now that it has lost its chief exponent of rationality.
The best way to pay proper tribute to Justice Scalia is by citing some of his public remarks and opinions from the bench (cases are noted below) in affirmation and defense of our Constitution.
"Our society prohibits, and all human societies have prohibited, certain activities not because they harm others but because they are considered, in the traditional phrase, 'contra bonos mores,' i.e., immoral. (Barnes v. Glen Theatre, Inc., 1991)
"To pursue the concept of racial entitlement — even for the most admirable and benign of purposes — is to reinforce and preserve for future mischief the way of thinking that produced race slavery, race privilege and race hatred. In the eyes of government, we are just one race here. It is American." (Adarand Constructors v. Pena, 1995)
"The Court must be living in another world. Day by day, case by case, it is busy designing a Constitution for a country I do not recognize." (Board of County Commissioners, Wabaunsee County, Kansas v. Umbehr, 1996)
"A Bill of Rights that means what the majority wants it to mean is worthless." (2000)
"It is difficult to maintain the illusion that we are interpreting a Constitution, rather than inventing one, when we amend its provisions so breezily." (2003)
"If you're going to be a good and faithful judge, you have to resign yourself to the fact that you're not always going to like the conclusions you reach. If you like them all the time, you're probably doing something wrong." (2005)
"If you think aficionados of a 'living constitution' want to bring you flexibility, think again. ... If we're picking people to draw out of their own conscience and experience a 'new' Constitution, we should not look principally for good lawyers. We should look to people who agree with us. When we are in that mode, you realize we have rendered the Constitution useless." (2005)
"The argument of flexibility goes something like this: The Constitution is over 200 years old and societies change. It has to change with society, like a living organism, or it will become brittle and break. "But you would have to be an idiot to believe that. The Constitution is not a living organism, it is a legal document. It says something and doesn't say other things." (2006)
"Undoubtedly some think that the Second Amendment is outmoded... [W]hat is not debatable is that it is not the role of this Court to pronounce the Second Amendment extinct." (District of Columbia v. Heller, 2008)
"Persuade your fellow citizens it's a good idea and pass a law. That's what democracy is all about. It's not about nine superannuated judges who have been there too long imposing these demands on society." (2011)
"A man who has made no enemies is probably not a very good man." (2012)
"Under all the usual rules of interpretation, in short, the Government should lose this case. But normal rules of interpretation seem always to yield to the overriding principle of the present Court: The Affordable Care Act must be saved... And the cases will publish forever the discouraging truth that the Supreme Court of the United States favors some laws over others, and is prepared to do whatever it takes to uphold and assist its favorites. I dissent." (King v. Burwell, 2014)
"Today's decree says that my Ruler, and the Ruler of 320 million Americans coast-to-coast, is a majority of the nine lawyers on the Supreme Court. The opinion in these cases is the furthest extension in fact — and the furthest extension one can even imagine — of the Court's claimed power to create 'liberties' that the Constitution and its Amendments neglect to mention. This practice of constitutional revision by an unelected committee of nine, always accompanied (as it is today) by extravagant praise of liberty, robs the People of the most important liberty they asserted in the Declaration of Independence and won in the Revolution of 1776: the freedom to govern themselves... The world does not expect logic and precision in poetry or inspirational pop philosophy; it demands them in the law. The stuff contained in today's opinion has to diminish this Court's reputation for clear thinking and sober analysis." (Obergefell v. Hodges. 2015)
Justice Scalia's death will change the dynamic of the current presidential primaries — indeed, the entire election cycle. We've argued before how important this election really is when it comes to nominations. That prediction is now more acute.
When nObama nominates a new court candidate and attempts to ram that nominee through the Republican-led Senate, that will create considerable discord. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McCon-nell has stated he opposes confirming a new justice until the election because "the American people should have a voice in the selection of their next Supreme Court Justice." Indeed, in more than eight decades, no president has nominated a candidate for the Supreme Court in a presidential election year.
Within hours of Scalia's death, Democratic National Committee CEO Amy Dacey insisted, "Barack nObama, has been very clear: He's going to fulfill his constitutional obligation and nominate our next Supreme Court justice. ... [C]onservatives in Congress should allow President nObama to do what is his right and responsibility — name the next Supreme Court justice."
Why? nObama has not "fulfilled his constitutional obligations" in any other respect, and he has never honored his oath "to Support and Defend" our Constitution and the Liberty it enshrines.
It is notable that, of the 16 presidents who served in the Senate, only one, Barack nObama, endeavored to filibuster a Supreme Court nomination — the 2006 nomination of now-Justice Samuel Alito. In 2007, more than 18 months before the 2008 presidential election, Demo Sen. Chuck Schumer declared, "We should not confirm any Bush nominee to the Supreme Court."
As for Justice Scalia himself, he once remarked, "I would not like to be replaced by someone who immediately sets about undoing what I've tried to do for 25–26 years. I mean, I shouldn't have to tell you that, unless you think I'm a fool."
Today, our thoughts and prayers are with Justice Scalia's wife, Maureen, their nine children, and the rest Justice Scalia's loved ones, as we remember and honor his legacy. Nino, you will be missed: "Well done, good and faithful servant." (Matthew 25:23).   -The Patriot Post

{aim.org} ~ Now that another presidential primary is over, can the media take a few minutes to insist that the candidates address some important issues like the crisis in Aleppo, Syria?... Tens of thousands of Syrians are dying or fleeing the Russians and the Iranians, who have invaded the country. President nObama is doing nothing to save them. The American people should be reminded that nObama lost Libya in a fiasco that cost the lives of four Americans. In that case, he intervened militarily and assisted in overthrowing the regime of Muammar Qaddafi, then pulled back when American facilities were attacked. Director of National Intelligence James Clapper says the country is now a haven for terrorists. President nObama is now losing Syria. Rebels opposed to the Bashar al-Assad regime don’t have the weapons to fight Russian planes and tanks. Veteran diplomat Dennis Ross is the latest observer to note that the policies of Barack nObama and Vladimir Putin seem to be the same. “Rather than being opposed to the Russian efforts, we look to be in league with them,” he writes in the Los Angeles Times.        http://www.aim.org/aim-column/a-disaster-worse-than-libya/

{constitutionrising.com} ~ There is quite a bit of discussion and name calling in the Republican field over who is and is not a “true conservative;” who has a legitimate claim to that title and concern over who might only be using it to persuade voters in the short term only later to fall back to their true liberal roots... It could happen, it’s standard politician operating procedure and there are only two candidates who are non-politicians. One simple definition of conservatism is “A political philosophy or attitude that emphasizes respect for traditional institutions and opposes the attempt to achieve social change though legislation or publicly funded programs.” Basically, it’s the “we like our America and we want to keep it like it is with minimal course corrections” approach. It is the extent to which those corrections are employed and the degree and nature of their conflict with the purest interpretations of the Constitution that become the issues. While all of the presidential candidates would claim to be upholding the Constitution, it is their interpretation of the limits and obligations structured into the founding document and how to apply them that makes the difference. Many of the communists in the Democrat Party make their claims with the intent to destroy America and with little regard for the Constitution beyond its use as a political tool and a prop. Their scrutiny must be from that perspective, and much more intense.  http://constitutionrising.com/archives/26105

{freebeacon.com} ~ Islamic State terrorists recently captured several Syrian air defense missiles, raising concerns the weapons could be used against U.S. and allied aircraft, according to defense officials... Several SA-6 mobile anti-aircraft missiles were captured near the northeastern Syrian city of Dayr Az Zawr, where in recent weeks U.S. and allied aircraft have conducted airstrikes against oil and gas facilities controlled by ISIS, Pentagon officials told theWashington Free Beacon. Four missiles and two tracked, mobile SA-6 launchers were captured by the group, the officials said, adding that it is uncertain whether the associated fire control radar and other equipment needed to fire the missiles were captured.        http://freebeacon.com/national-security/isis-gets-syrian-air-defense-system/?utm_source=Freedom+Mail&utm_campaign=329ccfe44a-WFB_Morning_Beacon_02_15_162_14_2016&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_b5e6e0e9ea-329ccfe44a-45611665

{eaglerising.com} ~ The Bureau of Land Management have been acting tyrannically for decades. As an unconstitutional agency, we have seen them in recent years not only violating the Constitution and the rights of the people... but we've also seen them take an armed violent stand against ranchers, both in Nevada and Oregon. All of it is unlawful. I want to share story that I ran across concerning two BLM employees and a miner in Idaho from 2012 during some research on the BLM. In a confrontation with the BLM, the Idaho miner asked, "You are telling me that you supersede the Constitution of the united States?" The BLM employee smugly replied, "Yes, I do." Nicole Crossman, one of the founders of the South West Idaho Mining Association, and her husband John, along with some others were at the family's camp on July 11th, 2012 when they were approached by two BLM employees, who were identified as Ann Marie Sharkey and Jeff Weiss. Video evidence, which has now been removed and another video made private, shows what seems to be a friendly encounter between the employees and the Crossmans. However, once Sharkey spotted mining incident tools, she demanded that Mrs. Crossman produce identification. The text of the conversation comes from Mrs. Crossman.        http://eaglerising.com/30219/federal-government-employee-tells-miner-that-his-authority-supersedes-the-constitution/

{themuslimissue.wordpress.com} ~ NASA is not so scientifically enlightened after all. This is how Muslims silently exercise their stealth jihad. Bit-by-bit, one stone at a time, their influence to corrode and bring the infidel down, until the kafir has no fundation to stand on, leads them closer to their goal... Muslims always pretence argue that Jesus is a prophet in Islam and that Muslims believe in Jesus. It’s part of the taqqiyya appeasement method when dealing with the infidel. So why then are they so eager to ban all traces of Christianity and all mentions of Jesus, unless it insults them? Demanding a ban on Christian symbols, words, practices would then constitute blasphemy. But reality is, Jesus is derided in Islam. Therefore, his name and followers must be avoided at all costs. Liberty Institute attorneys issued a demand letter on Monday to the legal team at NASA Johnson Space Center (JSC) in Houston, Texas after it banned a group of civil servants, employees and contractors from using the name “Jesus” in email announcements.

{washingtonexaminer.com} ~ State Department officials upgraded 84 of Hilly Clinton's private emails to various levels of classification when they published 551 emails under a federal judge's orders on Saturday... Most of the 84 emails were upgraded to "confidential," the lowest level of classification. A handful were upgraded to "secret." None were designated "top secret," though the State Department upgraded as many as 29 emails to "top secret" when they missed a court-ordered deadline at the end of January. The intelligence community inspector general has argued many of the now-classified emails were considered classified when they passed through Clinton's private email network. Clinton maintains none were classified at the time.

{dailycaller.com} ~ The death of Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia at 79 has been a gut punch for those who follow the Constitution... and a reason for glee from those who celebrate the death of anyone who disagrees with them. Also, allegedly, it has created constitutional crisis of monumental proportions as Democrats demand the GOP-controlled Senate confirm whomever President nObama decides to nominate to fill the position. But there is no crisis. There is only one word. No. No, we will not consider any of nObama’s nominees. No, we won’t vote them. No, we don’t care what you say about us on MSNBC. China Reclaimed Land for South China
Sea Anti-Submarine Helicopter
Base Near Vietnam
Sam LaGrone
.
{news.usni.org} ~ The People’s Liberation Army is building a South China Sea helicopter base that could be a key node in a Chinese anti-submarine warfare (ASW) network across the region... according to new satellite images and analysis shared with USNI News on Friday. The imagery — first published on news site The Diplomat — show what appears to be extensive reclamation work to build could easily be an ASW helicopter base on Duncan Island, about 200 miles from the coast of Vietnam in the disputed Paracel Islands. The base “could signal a step-up in China’s ASW capabilities across the South China Sea. A network of helicopter bases and refueling stops scattered across the South China Sea, using no more than the bases China is already known to be building, would make almost any coordinate in the sea reachable,” read the analysis by Victor Robert Lee.

.
{city-journal.org} ~ The death of Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia on February 13 represents an enormous loss to American conservatism—and a challenge to those who hope to name his successor. Ordinarily, the sitting president would nominate a replacement, and President nObama has already indicated his intention to do so. But this is an election year. According to Ed Whelan, president of the Ethics and Public Policy Center, “It’s been more than 80 years since a Supreme Court justice was confirmed in an election year to a vacancy that arose that year.” Indeed, under its informal “Thurmond Rule” the Senate can block judicial nominations in an election year. Democrats invoked the Thurmond Rule to oppose George W. Bush’s nominees. This time around, Senate majority leader Mitch McCon-nell appears ready to take the same approach.
.
At stake is whether the Court will be reconstituted with a liberal majority intent on reversing Justice Scalia’s extraordinary legacy. With three decades on the bench, Scalia was the longest-service member of the current Court. Appellate judge Richard Posner, who in recent years became a harsh Scalia critic, described him in 2011 as “the most influential justice of the last quarter century.”
.
When he became an associate justice in 1986, Scalia’s judicial philosophy lay on the outskirts of the Court and of the American legal establishment. Over time, however, his commitment to textualism and originalism gained traction, even among the Court’s more liberal members. As a textualist, Scalia maintained that courts must follow the clear language of statutes and resist the temptation to import their policy preferences into the law—the defining sin of judicial activists. He was contemptuous of efforts to interpret laws via “legislative history,” a grab-bag of self-serving congressional utterances from which a clever judge could usually extract some statement supporting his or her preferred outcome. As the New York Times’s Adam Liptak reports, Scalia’s campaign against legislative history “was largely successful. Advocates and other justices rely on legislative history sparingly these days.”
.
In the area of constitutional law, Scalia was the Court’s leading originalist: he sought to interpret the Constitution’s text as it would have been understood by those who ratified its provisions. Here again, Scalia’s influence is palpable. Though the Court’s liberal justices differed with him in their conclusions, they increasingly couched their arguments in originalist terms. By the time Scalia wrote the majority opinion in the 2008 case of Heller v. District of Columbia, which held that the Second Amendment establishes an individual right to bear arms, the entire court was engaged in a debate over how the Founders understood the amendment’s somewhat enigmatic language. References by Supreme Court justices to the “Living Constitution” theory—that the meaning of the Constitution must change to keep pace with the times—are now vanishingly rare.
.
Another Scalia decision, Employment Division v. Smith, held that individuals cannot use the First Amendment’s “free exercise” clause to demand exemptions from laws on religious grounds. That ruling continues to split conservatives, who generally support robust protection for religious liberties, particularly in the context of today’s culture wars. The Religious Freedom Restoration Act, or “RFRA”—a favorite among conservatives—was enacted as a direct response to Smith.
.
Smith demonstrates an important point about Scalia’s intellectual rigor: he regularly found himself at odds with conservatives because of his commitment to following the letter of the law. If the law leads to unwelcome consequences, Scalia insisted, it’s up to Congress to change it or to the people to amend it in the case of the Constitution. Thus, in 2004’s Hamdi case, he opposed the Bush administration’s position that an American citizen who had allegedly taken up arms with the Taliban could be held indefinitely without charges. In other decisions, Scalia has sought to strengthen the rights of the accused, notwithstanding his strong personal preference for law and order. In Crawford v. Washington (2004), for example, he held that criminal defendants have a right to live testimony from the witnesses against them, even when other forms of testimony might be available.
.
Much of Scalia’s influence came through his dissenting opinions. Well-researched and persuasively written, his dissents planted seeds that often bore fruit in later cases. In the 1988 Morrison v. Olson case, Scalia found himself in a minority of one, arguing against Congress’s power to vest executive powers in bodies outside the president’s control in that case, the independent counsel. But his views eventually carried the day in 2010’s Free Enterprise Fund v. PCAOB, in which the Court held that Congress couldn’t create an executive body that was effectively insulated from presidential control.
.
Even when he wasn’t successful, Scalia’s dissents were prescient—and often biting. In Lawrence v. Texas, Scalia rightly predicted that the Court’s declaration of a right to engage in consensual homosexual relations would lead to a right to same-sex marriage. In the case that established that right—Obergefell v. Hodges—Scalia mocked the soaring rhetoric of Justice Anthony Kennedy’s majority opinion, declaring that those who signed on to it ought to “hide their head in a bag.”
.
In other contexts, Scalia could work with the Court’s liberals. Unlike associate justice Clarence Thomas—the Court’s most intellectually consistent originalist—Scalia made concessions to stare decisis, the principle that prior court decisions shouldn’t be disturbed unless there is a compelling reason to do so. On that basis, he generally supported the New Deal Court’s expansive reading of the Commerce Clause—refusing to strike down the Controlled Substances Act in Gonzalez v. Raich (2004). He also refused to disturb the judge-made doctrine of substantive due process—which is said to “incorporate” certain substantive guarantees into the due-process clause of the Fourteenth Amendment. Thomas disagreed on both counts, but Scalia’s position probably gave him more credibility with the Court’s liberals.
.
Scalia’s intellect and his appreciation of the political realities of the Court made him the most effective conservative jurist of his time. His death leaves a gaping hole, and it may signal the beginning of a period of drastic change on the Court. Liberal lion Ruth Bader Ginsburg a pancreatic-cancer survivor is 82; Kennedy, the “swing vote” justice, is 79. Whether the next generation of justices builds upon or reverses Scalia’s legacy depends entirely on the outcome of the election in November.

Three Strikes and You're Out, Hillary

Under the three strikes law, your third felony puts you in prison for the rest of your life. Hillary Clinton has yet to be officially charged with a felony. However, with investigations by that charter member of the vast member of the vast right wing conspiracy, the FBI, already underway, the announcement by the State Department of an investigation into the activities of the Bill, Hillary and Chelsea Clinton Foundation during her tenure as secretary may be her third strike politically.

Israeli Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon
.
{algemeiner.com} ~ Israeli Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon said Israel was ready for the possibility of developing a joint strategy with Arab countries to address the situation in Syria,Israel Radio reported on Sunday... Addressing a security conference in Munich, where the defense minister also met on the sidelines with Jordanian King Abdullah II for the first time publicly in over a year, Ya’alon said Israel’s official position in Syria was non-involvement, other than for humanitarian reasons. Still, Israel would respond if its sovereignty was threatened, he said. Israel has previously asserted that its red line in Syria includes weapons transfers to Hezbollah, and Israel has reportedly carried out several air strikes in Syria since the start of the civil war in 2011.

{pamelageller.com} ~ This is the purpose of jihad terrorism: to terrorize us, and force us to curtail our activities, and live cowering in fear until we submit to Islam altogether just to get the terror to stop... If the French government and European authorities were doing something to stop the Muslim migrant influx, which will only lead to more jihad, this closing would not have been necessary. Instead, watch for many, many more art galleries and other institutions to close. The Paris Pinacotheque, one of France’s rare privately owned art galleries, is to close as visitor numbers have plunged following the November shootings in Paris. The Pinacotheque, which has been under court receivership for three months, said that like all Paris galleries it had suffered a dramatic drop in attendance.      http://pamelageller.com/2016/02/paris-art-gallery-closes-after-dramatic-attendance-drop-following-jihad-murders.html/

{dailysignal.com} ~ Washington has succumbed to another diplomatic mirage: the Russian promise of a limited pause in the intensifying war in Syria... Secretary of State John hanoi-Kerry and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov announced that they had agreed to an arrangement to “accelerate and expand” deliveries of humanitarian aid to starving civilians in besieged areas, to be followed by a partial “cessation of hostilities” within a week. The agreement falls far short of an actual ceasefire, in part because it does not include the main belligerents: the Syrian regime and opposition forces. The cosmetic arrangement gives the illusion of “doing something” to ease the mounting humanitarian catastrophe in Syria. But it only marginally addresses the symptoms of Syria’s bloody conflict, while ignoring one of the root causes: the brutal repression meted out by Bashir Assad’s dictatorship, strongly supported by Russia and Iran.

Rep. Ron DeSantis
.
{dailysignal.com} ~ Some may think Congress has given up on taking further action against the Iran deal, but in a video interview with The Daily Signal, Rep. Ron DeSantis, R-Fla., says it’s not time for lawmakers to give up... Since the deal was officially recognized by President Barack nObama, Iran’s behavior has remained antagonistic, including the seizure of American sailors just weeks ago in the Persian Gulf. DeSantis, a member of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs, believes that may cause some original supporters to rethink their position. While it will take a new president in 2017 to fully revoke the deal, DeSantis tells us there are things Congress can and should do now, such as allowing individual states to enact their own sanctions against Iran.        http://dailysignal.com/2016/02/12/what-lawmakers-can-still-do-to-push-back-on-iran-deal/?utm_source=heritagefoundation&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=morningbell&mkt_tok=3RkMMJWWfF9wsRovsqrJZKXonjHpfsX56%2BQpWqS%2BlMI%2F0ER3fOvrPUfGjI4AScJlNq%2BTFAwTG5toziV8R7jHKM1t0sEQWBHm

{gatestoneinstitute.org} ~ On February 1, Tharwat Bukhit, a Coptic Christian member of Egypt's parliament, announced"there are approximately 50 churches in Egypt closed for reasons of security."... When the "Arab Spring" broke out in 2011, Egypt's Christians compiled a list of 43 churches that had been shut down by local authorities over the years. This list was given to the prime minister of Egypt at the time, Dr. Essam Sharaf, who said that the churches would be opened as soon as possible. Yet since then, according to Bukhit, "Today, the number of closed churches has grown to almost 50." Why are Christian churches being "closed for reasons of security"? Whenever Christians attempt to repair, renovate, or build a church -- all of which contradict Islamic law[1] -- the same chain of events follows. Local Muslims riot and rampage, and local (Muslim) officials conclude that the only way to prevent "angry youths" from acts of violence is to ban the church, which is then declared a "threat" to security.      http://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/7433/egypt-churches

{clarionproject.org} ~ School officials in Rochester, New York are getting flak from angry parents and teachers for holding an event in solidarity with World Hijab Day... The event, held at the school and during school hours, encouraged the high school girls to wear the Islamic headscarf for the day. Boys were given carnations to wear in solidarity. Unsuspecting students put on the 150 headscarves that were brought by teachers before the first bell rang. They were encouraged to participate in the “cultural event” by the school’s principal Sheela Webster, who insisted the headscarf had nothing to do with religion, but rather all about the “experiental” and “was actually around learning about the cloth.” “Our perspective in it was not religious – it was really about experiential,” she said. “We are an experiential school; we engage kids in all kinds of activities and projects all of the time, so the perspective of being able to learn what a hijab is, why some women choose to wear it and why some women don’t choose to wear it, and we provide the opportunity to experience it; it is well within protocol of experiential learning.” What a bunch of hogwash by this principal.        http://www.clarionproject.org/analysis/world-hijab-day-debuts-american-schools

{theeconomiccollapseblog.com} ~ 350,000 soldiers, 20,000 tanks, 2,450 warplanes and 460 military helicopters are massing in northern Saudi Arabia for a military exercise that is being called “Northern Thunder”...  According to the official announcement, forces are being contributed by Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Jordan, Bahrain, Sudan, Kuwait, Morocco, Pakistan, Tunisia, Oman, Qatar, Malaysia and several other nations.  This exercise will reportedly last for 18 days, and during that time the airspace over northern Saudi Arabia will be closed to air traffic.  This will be the largest military exercise in the history of the region, and it comes amid rumors that Saudi Arabia and Turkey are preparing for a massive ground invasion of Syria. If you were going to gather forces for an invasion, this is precisely how you would do it.  Governments never come out and publicly admit that forces are moving into position for an invasion ahead of time, so “military exercises” are a common excuse that gets used for this sort of thing.

{punchingbagpost.com} ~ Recently, ISIS released a video of a young boy blowing up a “car of spies”. The boy in the video has since been identified as the four-year-old son, Isa Dare, of a London convert who is now part of the growing ISIS training program to influence and radicalize young children... The video shows three of the victims tied up in a car being interviewed and “confessing” to their sins of being British spies in Arabic. Fethullah Gulen, a radical Islamist, is at the head of command in a line of 150 charter schools in America. Within these schools, teachers and students have complained that the curriculum focuses too much on the Islamist way of thinking and children are not receiving the proper education. To add insult to injury, these schools are financed by U.S. taxpayers, with some receiving up to $100 million in funds! The war on terror can and will spread to the younger generation if America does not put an end to teaching radicalism on our own soil.

{townhall.com} ~ Envy is defined by Dictionary.com as "a feeling of discontent or covetousness with regard to another's advantages, success, possessions, etc." That perfectly characterizes the entire political philosophy of the Democratic progressive left.
.
Listening to presidential candidates Bernie Sanders and Hilly Clinton, I often hear the principles I grew up with and practiced being disregarded, even denounced.
.
In his victory speech following his New Hampshire primary win, Sanders said America was founded on the principle of fairness.
.
No it wasn't. You don't find the word "fairness" in the Declaration of Independence, or the Constitution. The word you do find is "liberty." The Founders wanted Americans to be liberated from oppressive, intrusive, dictatorial government and to be free to pursue happiness, according to their definition of the word.
.
Sanders and Clinton aren't channeling the Founders, they're channeling Robin Hood. They want to take from people who have sacrificed, invested, risked and worked hard and give the fruits of their labors to others who have not embraced those noble practices.
.
Listening to some of the younger people who are enthralled by Sanders' philosophy suggests that they have been brainwashed by their public school teachers and college professors. Maybe we should increase the voting age to 30 when they might be expected to have achieved some modicum of success and will resent having their paychecks gutted by dysfunctional government.
.
The late football coach Vince Lombardi once said, "The price of success is hard work, dedication to the job at hand, and the determination that whether we win or lose, we have applied the best of ourselves to the task at hand."
.
Do you hear anything like that coming from the mouths of Sanders or Clinton? Where is the rhetoric I heard as a child such as "you can do this," "apply yourself," "persistence ensures success"?
.
Today, it is all about envying what others have. In biblical terms it is covetousness, a violation of the Tenth Commandment. Covetousness is destructive, not to the person who is its object, but to the person doing the coveting.
.
Does someone who envies, or covets, improve his station in life? Why won't Sanders and Clinton speak of the virtues of hard work and making the right decisions so people can fend for themselves and their families? Instead we get speeches attacking millionaires and billionaires, as if they have cornered the market on wealth, leaving none behind for anyone else.
.
What a CEO or Wall Street banker earns has nothing to do with what I make, or could make, if I choose the right path. The right path means staying in school, getting married before having children and taking reasonable risks to improve one's life, such as moving from a town where it is difficult to get a job or advance in one, to a place where there are better prospects.
.
Bernie Sanders is now trying to attract African-American voters by promising them more jobs, more government programs, more stuff. He's also courting civil rights power broker Rev. Al Sharpton in hopes that he can help steer minority voters his way in exchange for access to the White House, but consider this quote from one of the great African-American leaders of the past, Booker T. Washington: "Nothing ever comes to one, that is worth having, except as a result of hard work."
.
That such noble sentiments have largely disappeared from our culture and been replaced by envy, greed and entitlement, explains why our national debt soars, why so many find themselves in financial difficulty, or think they do, because that's what the left has told them.
.
If our forebears could rise from their graves, would they not rebuke us for the mess we have made of the nation they birthed and bequeathed to us?
.
At the founding of America, self-interest was often secondary to the public good. Today, self-interest is supreme and the public good is largely forgotten. No wonder we are in trouble on all levels, as liberal-progressives double down on failure to promote their own political self-interest.

Suddenly, with the death of Justice Scalia, the appointment of a ninth Justice to the Supreme Court has takesup-1.jpg?width=189n on more weight than most would have previously believed necessary in this, an election year.

Just as weighty as the decision as to who should nominate our next Supreme Court Justice is how any nominee will view Constitutional theory or how that person will interpret the Constitution.

Along those lines, there are five basic theories of Constitutional interpretation. Generally, those theories are as follows: (1) the text and structure of the Constitution, (2) intentions of those who drafted, voted to propose, or voted to ratify the provision in question, (3) prior precedents (usually judicial), (4) the social, political, and economic consequences of alternative interpretations, and (5) natural law. There is general agreement that the first three of these sources are appropriate guides to interpretation, but considerable disagreement as to the relative weight that should be given to the three sources when they point in different directions. Many interpreters of the Constitution have suggested that the consequences of alternative interpretations are never relevant, even when all other considerations are evenly balanced. Natural law (higher law, God’s law) is now only infrequently suggested as an interpretive guide, even though many of the framers of the Constitution recognized its appropriateness. Persons who favor heavy reliance on originalist sources (text and intentions) are commonly called “originalists.” Persons who favor giving a more substantial weighting to precedent, consequences, or natural law are called “non-originalists.” In practice, disagreement between originalists and non-originalists often concerns whether to apply heightened judicial scrutiny to certain “fundamental rights” that are not explicitly protected in the text of the Constitution.

Is Radical Islam a Domestic Issue?
According to the FBI's website to teach teenagers about extremist groups, Islamic extremism is not a domestic issue. Recently, the FBI published the website, complete with flashy animation and dark graphics, to be used as a teaching tool to discourage radicalization. "[B]y blindly accepting radical ideologies," the FBI wrote, "teens are essentially becoming the 'puppets' of violent extremists who simply want them to carry out their destructive mission — which often includes targeting or killing innocent people." But the website doesn't give a full explanation of terrorism. It may have something to do with the fact that the nObama administration refuses to correctly assess the threat of the Islamic State, even going so far as to cleanse DHS databases of Islamic terrorism connections. The FBI's website is no different, as when it comes to the landing page explaining the types of ideologies held by domestic terrorists, the website lists anarchists, environmentalists, white supremacists, militias and abortion extremists as potential sources of terrorism. Meanwhile, the ideology that animated the attacks in Chattanooga, San Bernardino and Fort Hood — not to mention 9/11 — go unmentioned. Perhaps the landing page describing international terrorist groups could lend a clue? After all, four of the six listed groups are al-Qaida, al-Shabaab, Hezbollah and the Islamic State.  -The Patriot Post

 (Green)Peace at Any Price
Last week, we told you about the nObama administration's better-late-than-never effort to defend Europe against Russian aggression with the announcement of a $3.4 billion cash infusion request from Secretary of Defense Ashton Carter. Apparently it dawned on nObama that peace isn't yet "breaking out all over the world," especially in rogue states, terrorist organizations or would-be regional hegemons — which was already painfully obvious to anyone else capable of observing the world as it actually exists.
This week, the news is even better, and by "even better" of course we mean much, much worse. Barack nObama's top Pentagon brass has ordered all branches of the military to incorporate "climate change" into every aspect of their missions, from basic lab research to weapons testing to putting boots on the ground in combat. And we thought the insanity in the Department of Defense couldn't get any worse.
A new directive, "Climate Change Adaptation and Resilience," decrees that U.S. defense forces must defeat the enemy threat based on "actionable science." And since "global warm— ... er, "climate change" is the biggest existential threat to the U.S. — never mind terrorism, a Middle East that's on fire, a nuclear-ambitious Iran, a space- and nuke-capable North Korea, and global political and military upheaval — it makes sense that nObama would interweave combating that awesome threat into everything we do to defend the nation. Such irony would be hilarious but for the fact the fate of the free world is tied to it.
But this directive isn't without its snags — namely, the effects that  actionable science will have on every aspect of war fighting. The new layers-upon-layers of "green" bureaucracy will make the term "massive cost overruns" seem passé by comparison. (See, for example, nObama's "Great Green Fleet."
One other matter — that an unimpeachable foundation for the "climate change" conjecture does not exist — also seems to have been overlooked in the hunt for all that "actionable science." In fact, researchers at the University of Colorado combing through decades of weather reports found no increase in storm frequencies worldwide, and even the über-ecofascist United Nations has stated that sufficient evidence to confirm increased frequencies in droughts and floods simply does not exist. But never mind: No cost is too high to combat climate change — even, evidently, the cost of combating real  threats.  -The Patriot Post

 TALK ABOUT ‘NONESSENTIAL PERSONNEL’
BBC: “A Spanish civil servant has been fined [$30,000] after not going to work for ‘at least’ six years. Joaquin Garcia’s absence was only noticed when he became eligible to collect a long-service award. The 69-year-old, whose job was to supervise the building of a waste water treatment plant, has since retired. He denied the allegations and said he was a victim of bullying. A court found in the authority’s favour and ordered him to pay the fine. Mr Garcia was paid [$30,000] a year before tax by a water company run by local authorities in the south-western city of Cadiz. His fine was equivalent to one year’s salary after tax and was the most that the company could legally reclaim. The court heard that the boss of the water company had not seen him for years despite occupying an office opposite his.”  -Fox News

Antonio Gramsci
.
{lidblog.com} ~ The Democrat Party is being led by an obscure Communist named Antonio Gramsci. The full implications of a socialistic worldview cannot be ascertained in a country dominated to some extent by capitalism... Socialists, like their kissing cousins the Communists, are thieves. They live off the capital of others. When the capital runs out, they are left with Cuba and North Korea. Socialists are like termites. They are indiscriminate in their choice of wood to satisfy their voracious appetites. By the time you recognize that termites have invaded your house, it’s often too late. Termites leave the form of the piece of wood they consume by only chewing out the heart. Socialism and Marxism can be compared to termite infestation. The forms of freedom are left intact so the underground work can be done unnoticed. Those who see the remaining forms have no idea what is going on inside. Socialism steadily extracts the nourishment from a society by continually eating away its host.        http://lidblog.com/saul-alinsky-isnt-source-of-dems-strategy-marxist-antonio-gramsci-is/?utm_source=The+Lid+List&utm_campaign=957c11971f-RSS_EMAIL_CAMPAIGN&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_597b72c01c-957c11971f-291705165

{americanthinker.com} ~ Barack nObama's foreign policy – and by extension Hilly Clinton's – received a stinging rebuke this week...from nObama's own intelligence chiefs... Director of National Intelligence James Clapper and Lieutenant General Vincent Stewart, head of the Defense Intelligence Agency, gave Congress an assessment of threats around the globe that amounted to a direct indictment of nObama's failed foreign policies. Clapper called the dangers currently facing the United States "a litany of doom." He told the Senate Armed Services Committee, "In my fifty-plus years in the intelligence business, I cannot recall a more diverse array of challenges and crises that we confront as we do today." Where have nObama's policies failed?  You might as well put on a blindfold and throw a dart at a map of the world.    http://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2016/02/obamas

{constitutionrising.com} ~ In the Friday night Democrat debate Bernie Sanders and Hilly Clinton did their best to not only out-commie each other but competed for the title of who is most like Hussein nObama...  Among parasites and thieves, at least on this night, it was perceived somehow as a desirable trait. Judy Woodruff displays an obvious open borders bias in the way that she phrased her question, saying, “One of the causes for anxiety for working class Americans is connected to immigrants.” If they are Americans there’s no reason for anxiety other than the mismanagement of our nation. The people she’s referencing aren’t simply immigrants if they are in fear of deportation; they are illegal immigrants. She’s OK; it’s a Democrat Debate so facts and accuracy give way to delusion, distortion and dishonesty. Her question assumes the false premise that deportations are actually taking place under nObama, and she goes on to define that so-called American family as illegal aliens. She asks if they could rest easy under a Premier Sanders, secure in the knowledge that federal law would continue to be obliterated.   http://constitutionrising.com/archives/26011

{sharylattkisson.com} ~ Why did Washington Post gossip blogger Erik Wemple appeal to Hilly Clinton confidant Philippe Reines for a “wide-ranging discussion” about me in 2013 (the year CBS News first confirmed the intrusion and exfiltration of files from my computer by uninvited, outsiders)?... And why was Wemple willing to let Reines “stipulate” the ground rules for the discussion? After all, pretty much the only thing Reines would be able to contribute about me is whatever opposition research had been dug up by the likes of the pro-Hilly Clinton smear group Media Matters. Wemple’s search for dirt–or, uh, background–about me was revealed in a blog he wrote today. The blog focused on Washington bickering that’s frankly of little interest to anybody but the news media and the political insiders being reported about. But buried deep in the article was this admission by Wemple, as he refers to himself in the plural. Wemple writes: In his email criticizing this blog, Clinton confidant Reines needled us by attaching a smidgen of correspondence from 2013 in which this blog sought a wide-ranging discussion about then-CBS News correspondent Sharyl Attkisson. Reines asked about ground rules, to which this blog responded, “You stipulate!   https://sharylattkisson.com/computer-intrusions-and-washington-smears/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+SharylAttkisson+%28Sharyl+Attkisson%29

{eaglerising.com} ~ These stories seem to be coming fast and furious now. Whether it’s in San Bernardino, California, Garland, Texas, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Detroit, Michigan or now in Montesano, Washington… terrorist supporting American-Muslims are being uncovered at an alarming pace. The most recent example of this disturbing trend comes to us from a sleepy little hamlet in Washington state where a former soldier, now fisherman, was recently arrested on weapons charges, but whom the government will likely soon be charging for terror-related crimes as well. Daniel Seth Franey was arrested at his home in Montesano, Washington this past week, and if the authorities are to be believed, he is an ISIS and Al Qaeda supporting time bomb. Franey is a deserter who ran afoul of the law during a domestic-violence incident. In the aftermath of the domestic violence, he had a protective order placed on him which barred him from possessing a firearm, during the course of an investigation into his activities he was routinely observed in possession or use of firearms.        http://eaglerising.com/30115/jihad-comes-to-small-town-america-another-american-isis-supporter-arrested/

{constitutionrising.com} ~ A career political criminal made the claim years ago when she titled a book “It Takes a Village,” one which contains some surprisingly parent-empowering statements... The public positions of the Marxist Democrats and the ever-pliable Mrs. Clinton have changed a lot in the twenty years since that release. The communists that have taken over the Democrat Party are positioning themselves and their system as the parents with the true parents increasingly being diminished to the role of mere procreators. The Department of Education and welfare systems have combined to increase the role of government by cultivating a reliance upon the schools for meals and as a daycare facility. The authority of parents is further diminished by empowering children with expanded rights to challenge their discipline. The tenth item in the communist manifesto in part establishes the goal of “Free education for all children in public schools.” That goal follows number three, “The elimination of all rights of inheritance,” a method for the state to simultaneously acquire the private property of the citizens and to devalue the family, to disconnect the child from the parents and to diminish the relevance of one’s lineage. With the abolition of private property, the first stated goal, parents are equal with children in their dependent upon the state, further stripping the parents of their status.        http://constitutionrising.com/archives/26023

{foxnews.com} ~ The State Department on Saturday released more emails from the private server that Hilly Clinton used when secretary of state, including 81 that have now been marked as “classified.”... The agency released more than 1,000 new pages of emails, as part of a federal court order for officials to comply with a Freedom of Information Act request for the official correspondence. Clinton, a Democratic candidate in the 2016 White House race, has denied any wrong-doing. However, her use of the private server and email accounts, from 2011 to 2013, is being investigated by the FBI. "Clinton’s decision to exclusively conduct official business on an unsecure email server in her basement looks even more reckless," committee Chairman Reince Priebus said in a statement. "As the results in Iowa and New Hampshire have shown, even Democrats find Clinton’s dishonesty and untrustworthiness unacceptable.”        http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2016/02/13/new-batch-clinton-emails-released-84-now-marked-classified.html

T. Boone Pickens On Obama Oil Tax:
“Dumbest Idea Ever”
.
{noisyroom.net} ~ The nObama administration’s proposed $10.25 per barrel oil tax adds up to approximately $32 billion a year, and critics are coming out of the woodwork in defense of both the oil industry and end users... who would foot the bill for transportation system reforms-but it may be a moot point since the effort will simply be killed off by Congress. At the end of the day, this proposal is simply meant to start a discussion and possibly add to the nObama environmental legacy. The proposal has sparked immediate backlash, with critics blasting it as an impossible production tax, the death knell for the already struggling oil industry, and an unfair policy that would render gas at the pumps more expensive for consumers. {clashdaily.com} ~ If this doesn’t prove to you how much nObama favors Islam over everyone else, I don’t know what will... If there’s one thing I could write about every day without fail, it’s liberal hypocrisy. You always hear about racism, xenophobia, homophobia, and Islamophobia — you know, all those contrived propagandized grievances that serve to advance a certain ideological and political agenda. But what happens when there are real instances of such discrimination, yet they just get a pass because the targeted group just doesn’t have political standing? Case in point: this op-ed in the New York Post about “The Pentagon’s vile divided loyalty rules for Jews:” “Congress is rarely called upon to dispel conspiracy theories. {truthrevolt.org} ~ This week Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu told government ministers that he may wait for the next US president before signing a new military assistance deal with America. Israel’s current military assistance package is set to expire in 2018 and the new package is supposed to include supplemental aid to compensate Israel for President Barack nObama’s nuclear deal with Iran. But to date, the administration has rejected Israel’s requests for additional systems it could use to defend against Iran attacks.
.
Last October, Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon asked US Defense Secretary Ashton Carter to provide Israel with a new squadron of F-15s that Israel would outfit with its own electronics systems. Carter reportedly rejected that request as well as one for bunker buster bombs.
.
Carter instead insisted that Israel use the supplemental aid to purchase more F-35 Joint Strike Fighters, US-made missile defense systems, and the Osprey V-22 helicopter, which Ya’alon didn’t want.
.
The fact that the administration wants Israel to buy more F-35s instead of F-15s is alarming both for what it tells us about America’s commitment to maintaining Israel’s qualitative edge against Iran and for what it tells us about the F-35, which is set to become the IAF’s next generation combat fighter.
.
Before considering these issues, it is worth pointing out that the US is not the ally it once was.
.
This week Britain’s International Institute for Strategic Studies published a report warning that the West’s decades-long military technological superiority over Russia, China and other countries is eroding. The erosion of the West’s military technological advantage over the likes of China and Russia is deeply problematic for Israel. Given the IAF’s complete dependence on US defensive and offensive systems, absent other factors, Israel is imperiled simply by keeping its eggs in America’s basket.
.
But there are other factors that make continued dependence on the US problematic in the extreme. The erosion of the US’s military technological superiority is matched by its growing weakness internationally. This weakness is most glaring today in Syria.
.
Last November, Russia deployed an S-400 anti-aircraft system in Latakia. The system is capable of downing jets from a distance of 400 km. Half of Israel, including Ben-Gurion Airport, is within its range. Last December, a member of the IDF General Staff ruminated that never in their worst nightmares did Israeli military planners imagine that the S-400 would be deployed so close to us.
.
The S-400 ended Israel’s regional air superiority.
.
It also ended US air superiority.
.
In late December, Bloomberg reported that right after the Russians deployed the S-400, they began targeting with radar US planes providing air support to rebel forces in Syria.
.
US officials called Russia’s actions “a direct and dangerous provocation.”
.
Rather than respond forcefully to Russia’s aggressive move, the US ended all manned flights in the area. It stopped providing air support to rebel forces. There is a direct connection between the US’s docile acceptance of its loss of air superiority in December and the brutal Russian supported assault on Aleppo today.
.
This week, ambassador Dennis Ross and New York Times military correspondent David Sanger, who are both generally supportive of the nObama administration, published articles excoriating nObama’s policies in Syria.
.
Ross and Sanger both wrote that nObama was critically mistaken when he said that Russia’s deployment to Syria would not have any significant impact on the region, and that Russia would rue the day it decided to get directly involved.
.
Sanger noted that the administration’s constant refrain that “there is no military solution” to the war in Syria was wrong.
.
There is a military solution, it’s “just not our military solution,” a senior US security official admitted to Sanger. It’s Russian President Vladimir Putin’s solution.
.
Writing in the Los Angeles Times, Ross explained that in deploying his forces to Syria, “Putin aims to demonstrate that Russia, and not America, is the main power broker in the region and increasingly elsewhere.”
.
In other words, Putin’s involvement in Syria is simply a means to achieve his larger goal of replacing the US as the leading superpower.
.
This turn of events is dangerous for Israel, not least because the first parties Russia turned to in its anti-American gambit are Israel’s worst enemies – Iran and Hezbollah, along with the Assad regime. By acting in concert, and limiting their operations – as the Iranians have done as well in Iraq – to attacking forces backed by the US, while leaving Islamic State unharmed, the Russians, Iranians, Hezbollah and Bashar Assad make clear that their alliance is first and foremost geared toward reducing US power in the region.
.
Rather than act on this direct challenge to the US, nObama and Secretary of State John hanoi-Kerry continue to talk emptily about peace conferences and cease-fires. In so doing their further destroy US credibility as an ally. As America’s primary ally and client in the region, Israel is imperiled by this behavior because it serves to hollow out its capacity to deter its enemies from attacking.
.
This then brings us to the F-35s and to the IAF’s procurement policies more generally.
.
Over the past year, the IAF began preparing to take delivery of its first squadron of F-35s. In 2010, Israel placed its first order of 19 planes.
.
The first two are scheduled to arrive by the end of 2016. The rest are supposed to arrive within two years.
.
Last year Israel ordered an additional 14 F-35s, and the IAF reportedly wishes to expand that order with an additional 17 aircraft.
.
By all accounts, the F-35 is an impressive next generation fighter. But at the same time, as Aaron Lerner from IMRA news aggregation service noted this week, the F-35 suffers from one major weakness that arguably cancels out all of its advantages. That weakness is the F-35’s operational dependence on software laboratories and logistics support computers located in the US.
.
In a manner that recalls Apple’s ability to exert perpetual control over all iPhones by making it impossible for them to long function without periodically updating their operating systems, the US has made it impossible for foreign governments to simply purchase F-35s and use them as they see fit.
.
As Defense-Aerospace.com reported last November, “All F-35 aircraft operating across the world will have to update their mission data files and their Autonomic Logistic Information System (ALIS) profiles before and after every sortie, to ensure that on-board systems are programmed with the latest available operational data and that ALIS is kept permanently informed of each aircraft’s technical status and maintenance requirements.
.
“ALIS can, and has, prevented aircraft taking off because of an incomplete data file,” the report revealed.
.
This technical limitation on the F-35s constitutes a critical weakness from Israel’s perspective for two reasons. First, as the Defense-Aerospace article points out, the need to constantly update the ALIS in the US means that the F-35 must be connected to the Internet in order to work. All Internet connections are maintained via fiber optic underwater cables.
.
Defense-Aerospace cited an article published last October in Wired.com reporting that those cables are “surprisingly vulnerable” to attack.
.
According to Nicole Starosielski, a media expert from New York University, all Internet communications go through a mere 200 underwater cables that are “concentrated in very few areas. The cables end up getting funneled through these narrow pressure points all around the globe,” she said.
.
The Russians are probing this vulnerability.
.
In October the New York Times reported that “Russian submarines and spy ships are aggressively operating near the vital undersea cables that carry almost all global Internet communications, raising concerns among some American military and intelligence officials that the Russians might be planning to attack those lines in times of tension or conflict.”
.
According to the report, the fear is that an “ultimate Russian hack on the United States could involve severing the fiber-optic cables at some of their hardest-to-access locations to halt the instant communications on which the West’s governments, economies and citizens have grown dependent.”
.
Given the F-35’s dependence on the Internet, such an attack, while directed at the US itself, would also ground the IAF’s main combat fighter.
.
The second reason the F-35’s continuous dependence on a US-based logistics system is a critical weakness is that it would be irresponsible of Israel to trust that the US will not abuse its power to undermine and block IAF operations.
.
This brings us back to the Pentagon’s insistence that Israel purchase only F-35s and missile defense systems. By giving Israel no option other than purchasing more F-35s, which the Americans control – to the point of being able to ground – even after they are deployed by the IAF, and defensive systems jointly developed with the US and built in the US, the Americans are hollowing out Israel’s ability to operate independently.
.
Clearly by waiting for the next president to conclude Israel’s military assistance package, Netanyahu is hoping that nObama’s successor will give us a better deal. But the fact is that even if a pro-Israel president is elected, Israel cannot assume that American efforts to erode Israel’s strategic independence will end once nObama leaves office.
.
George W. Bush, who was more supportive of Israel than nObama, also undermined Israel’s ability to attack Iran’s nuclear installations.
.
Moreover, given the continuing diminishment of US military power, and America’s expanding strategic vulnerabilities, the possibility that the US will be unwilling or unable to stand by Israel in the future cannot be ruled out.
.
This week India and Israel were poised to finalize a series of arms deals totaling $3 billion.
.
The final package is set to be signed during Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Israel later this year. The deal includes various missile and electronic warfare systems.
.
In light of the F-35s massive vulnerabilities and the diminishment of US power in the Middle East and beyond, Netanyahu should view India’s enthusiasm for Israeli systems as an opportunity to end the IAF’s utter dependence on increasingly undependable US systems.
.
Instead of going through with the procurement of the 14 additional F-35s, Netanyahu should offer Modi to jointly develop a next generation fighter based on the Lavi.
.
Israel’s strategic environment is rapidly changing.
.
Technological, military and political developments in the region and worldwide must wake our leaders – including IAF commanders – to the fact that Israel cannot afford to maintain, let alone expand, its strategic dependence on the US.

THE CIA AND THE U.S. ELITE, THE RULERS OF OUR COUNTRY, ACT CULTURED AND REFINED, BUT THEIR POLICIES ARE SAVAGE AND UNCIVILIZED. THEY ARE PSYCHOPATHS, SOCIOPATHS, NARCISTS, EXPLOITERS, PLUNDERERS, WARMONGERS AND MASS MURDERERS, THEIR GREED, ARROGANCE AND CRUELTY HAVE CAUSED THE DEMISE OF MANY COUNTRIES AND THE SLAVERY OF THE WORKING CLASS.

The CIA the America's Coup Machine: Destroying Democracy Since 1953

http://www.alternet.org/world/americas-coup-machine-destroying-democracy-1953

Fellow Americans, we are the world’s bully, since Ronald Reagan the CIA was given carte blanche to kill and commit crimes with impunity and is free from prosecution in the name of national interest.

The CIA agenda in 2016 is to kill Ecuador President Rafael Correa; Correa is a democratic Christian socialist and his administration has focused on the implementation of policies to reduce poverty and rebuilding the Ecuador economy through good paying jobs and stopping the influence of the United States and also to stop the US pollution by the predator’s multinational corporations in Ecuador. Internationally, President Correa served as president pro tempore of the Union of South American Nations and promotes the union of Latin American countries for their economic development without the influence of the elite neocons imperialist of the United States. He knows the political system of the United States,  he live in our country for over four years and got a PhD from the University of Illinois in economics, he love the people of the United States, but he will not sale out to the neocons imperialist criminals warmongers that want to take over Ecuador.

In 1999 the economics of Ecuador was demise by the neo-liberal structural reform and the Dollarization of the Ecuadorian economy and created an exodus of millions of Ecuadorians to Spain and other countries, the 1999 Ecuador economic catastrophe was the result of government corruption and the influence of the U.S. in the economics of Ecuador.

The US certainly had plenty of motives to kill Correa; President Correa came to power by ousting the pro-US client Lucio Gutierrez and decimating the oligarchical parties who were responsible for dollarizing the economy and embracing Washington’s free market doctrine. Correa also called into question the foreign debt, declining to pay debts incurred under fraudulent circumstances.

The economic catastrophe of 1999 demise the savings and property of millions of Ecuadorians and created a huge unemployment in Ecuador, the rich benefit from the collapse of the economic while millions lost everything at the end when the Dollar replace the Sucre, Ecuadorians got one Dollar for 18,000.00 sucres, that was the end of the sucre.

We Latinos love our country, the U.S.A. but we also love our roots and our culture. We are Latinos and we demand respect for our culture and the political ideology of all the Latin American countries; Latin American countries have the rights to choose their political system and the United States have not right to undermine legitimate elected government nor kill any president or dignitaries that do not subscribe to the agenda of the neocons imperialist war mongers.

The real mission of the CIA was "deterring democracy." From corrupting elections to overthrowing democratic governments, from assassinating elected leaders to installing murderous dictators, the CIA has virtually always replaced democracy with dictatorship. It didn’t help that the CIA was run by businessmen, whose hostility towards democracy is legendary. The reason they overthrew so many democracies is because the people usually voted for policies that multi-national corporations didn't like: land reform, strong labor unions, nationalization of their industries, and greater regulation protecting workers, consumers and the environment.

Fellow Americans, it is our duty to expose the CIA criminal war mongers and demand the closing of this corrupt psychopaths, sociopaths, narcissists organization.

The hypocrisy and double standards of the US. Government.

Fellow Americans, we are a free society, our U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights guaranty every American this freedom; because this free will ; for freedom to work, we should respect the rights of others and we should be accountable for our actions. Moral and social responsibility are  the dominating factors in determining one's choices, so before we act we must think and if these choices are morally or social wrong and in violation of other people’s rights then one should be held accountable for those choices, regardless of gender, race, color, nationality, social class, political power and other such factors.

We have the freedom to: self-determination, freedom of choice, autonomy, liberty, independence and more, but we also have responsibilities, moral and social responsibilities, our purpose in life must be to prepare ourselves to contribute and make our society, our country and the world a better place to live in harmony and enjoy the fruit of our labor.

Today our country is on the path of self-destruction, Moral, social and economic destruction. The evidence is there for us to see it and many of us know what is taken place in our country, but we are in complete denial of the truth. Greed will destroy our country, our ill will to control others countries to benefit the few that got the money and power made our leaders puppets that obey and followed the agenda of the elite oligarchs and complete ignored their moral and social responsibilities. Fellow Americans, our country is being destroy from within and to keep the people appease, they used the mainstream news media, their propaganda machinery to deceive the people and brainwash the people by reassuring them that all that our government do; “The demise of our Constitution and our God given rights” is to protect us and establish security in our country.

The question is, Invading and overthrowing legitimate elected foreign government will make us secure?. Spying on Americans and the world community including countries friendly to us will make us secure?. Will imposing our will to exploit foreign countries will make us secure?. Will the militarization of our police forces and given them the power to violate our constitutional rights will make our people secure?. Will giving the power to corporate American to monopolized commerce and exploit the people by fostering the demise of collective bargaining in our country, will make us secure?. Will the passing of all the ill free trade legislations will make us economic secure?.

Fellow Americans, we are at the end of the road, it is time to wake up of this nightmare of self-destruction and seek the path to freedom and economic prosperity. We must expose the GOP NEOCONS WARMONGERS AND THEIR MASTERS, “THE ELITE OLIGARCHS”  and their agenda of one world order and world economic control, we are the world’s predators exploiters of humanity  and the warmongers that will get our country into a third world war that will demise the lives of millions for nothing, because this government will never be able to control the minds and will of the American people and humanity; they can win the battle but never the war to slave the American people nor demise our freedom; they will never be able to control the minds and will of humanity to be free, The respect for others rights to freedom and self-determination is the peace and the economic prosperity for all.

American Empire Exposed

Our US Constitution is founded on 3 ‘equal’ branches of government; Executive, Legislative, and Judiciary.

Our Founding Fathers had the wisdom of knowing that someday, one branch of government may go awry in a determined effort to destroy our Constitution, and America.

These ‘wise’ authors inserted a ‘check and balance’ so that in event one branch of government goes astray, another branch may be able to stop the activism, save our Constitution, America, and our American flag.

Activism has met its moment of activism with the unexpected death of Justice Antonin Scalia.  American voters have chosen a POTUS to the Executive branch who has intertwined and continues to distort the structure as permitted within the Executive branch; to be the administrator of government, and to serve as the ‘Commander in Chief’ of the Armed forces of the United States.

POTUS lacks the authority to write, dictate, or otherwise demand new laws.  Many of President Obama’s ‘Executive Orders’ are directed outside the privileges of our Constitution.

President Obama’s and the Democrat Party’s ‘left-wing’ activism must be stopped in an effort to save our Constitutional freedoms based on Judeo-Christian values.

The Legislative branch of government; the US Senate is the ‘balance’, as constitutionally defined.  President Obama may appoint a ‘left-wing’ Justice who may vote changing activism into a reversing 5 to 4 vote.

The Senate must refute any Obama nominee who may dishonor, disobey, or destroy America’s Founding Fathers’ wisdom.

There is nothing wrong with our Constitution.  It must remain intact, be enforced, and honored based on Judeo-Christian values.

Another problem is that American voters with personal ‘greed’ elect nominees without any future visions to the costs of all; as our mounting national debt exceeds $19 Trillion.
