Muslims have been waging jihad for decades in the Philippines in an attempt to establish their own Islamic state. Maguin-danao, Philippines – Moro Islamic Liberation Front guerrillas were involved in the killing of 49 Special Action Force (SAF) commandos but the “unfortunate and saddening development” was due to the failure of the elite police unit to coordinate its activities with the rebel group, MILF chief peace negotiator Mohaquer Iqbal said yesterday.

Iqbal said fighting erupted before dawn Sunday when three SAF platoons intruded into a supposedly government-recognized guerilla enclave in Barangay Tukanalipao, supposedly to arrest Malaysian explosives expert Zulkifli Bin Hir and his Maguindanaon cohort, the long wanted Basit Usman.

He said the policemen should have coordinated their operations to arrest suspected terrorists in the area with the joint ceasefire committee and the International Monitoring Team (IMT).

A survivor whose identity was withheld said the Muslim rebels finished off many of his wounded comrades. He said he witnessed some of the gunmen firing several rounds at dead or wounded commandos.

“It was a misencounter that happened due to lack of coordination based on agreed security protocols,” Iqbal, concurrent presiding chair of the Bangsamoro Transition Commission, said.

Five MILF rebels were killed and a dozen others were reportedly injured in the encounter.

“It is unfortunate that some people died. It cannot be undone. Next time, it is important to have coordination so that these things won’t happen again,” he added.

A police official claimed one of the terrorists was already in the custody of the commandos before the fighting. It was not clear what happened to him in the ensuing chaos.

The fighting forced hundreds of families to flee their homes.

Philippine National Police office-in-charge Leonardo Espina and Interior and Local Government Secretary Manuel Roxas II flew to Maguindanao yesterday to check on the situation.

In a statement, Espina said the police commandoes were chasing a “high-value target” believed to be behind recent bomb attacks in Mindanao. He did not elaborate.

Local officials said members of the outlawed Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters (BIFF) joined the battle when a group of retreating policemen entered its stronghold in Barangay Mangapang.

BIFF spokesman Abu Misry Mama boasted Sunday night that its fighters surrounded about a dozen retreating policemen who had run out of ammunition.

Mama had also bragged about the BIFF’s killing more than a dozen SAF commandos.

He said BIFF members appropriated the firearms of the dead policemen as the bandits took new battle positions by dusk Sunday.

Senior Superintendent Noel Armilla, officer-in-charge of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) police, said they have so far counted 20 fatalities, based on bodies recovered from the scene after the six-hour battle.

Sources said at least 37 SAF members were confirmed to have died in the fighting. Many of the dead were found in rice fields.

Armilla said they expect to find the remains of more commandos as government security forces expand their search.

“They already got the target but when they were about to leave the area they were engaged by lawless elements,” Armilla told The STAR.

Sources from the Maguindanao provincial police office in nearby Shariff Aguak town said the SAF contingent was looking for Zulkifli, alias Marwan, and his cohort, Usman.

Marwan is a known member of al-Qaeda’s Asian cell, the Jemaah Islamiyah. Usman, on the other hand, was said to have undergone training in the handling of explosives and fabrication of improvised bombs in Peshawar, Pakistan and in Kandahar, Afghanistan in the late 1980s.

Residents said MILF members from nearby villages arrived and engaged the SAF men in battle.

Only the names of 41 confirmed dead SAF men have been released as of press time.

TERRORISM arrests in Britain linked to the civil war in Syria have soared by more than 600 per cent last year.

A total of 165 suspects were detained in 2014 for offences including preparing acts of terror, attending training camps and terrorist financing.

This compares to 25 Syria related arrests for the whole of 2013.

Of the 165 suspects, 64 have so far been charged.

The total number of arrests for terrorist offences totalled 327 in 2014 – a 32 percent increase compared to the previous year.

Helen Ball, senior national co-ordinator for counter terrorism policing, said: “Last year’s arrest figures demonstrate a considerable increase in volume, range and pace of counter-terrorism activity in the UK.

Oakdale is a suburb of the ever-Islamizing St. Paul, Minnesota.

This appears to be a taxpayer subsidized effort and the Educational Equity Alliance is a group that forces schools too become more multicultural (i.e., less white) by changing the demographics of such schools under the guise of “educational equity.”

Tennessee has a law against bullying in schools because we believe that bullying is bad. So every school district in Tennessee has policies committed to eradicating bullies.

But we tolerate Islamist bullying. These bullies use name-calling like “bigot” or “Islamophobe” whenever anyone raises questions about matters like Muslim Brotherhood networks, Muslim Brotherhood plan, or questions the “Muslim as oppressed victim” narrative.

We also tolerate the way in which mainstream media abets Islamist bullying.

On January 15th the Tennessean newspaper published Paul “Iesa” Galloway’s responseto the Paris jihadi murders. Galloway is the new executive director of the American Center for Outreach (ACO) which he says represents the political voice of Muslims in Tennessee.

Galloway’s resume includes running his own public relations firm. He claims an expertise in “rebranding,” aka, professional spin doctor. He founded CAIR-Houston and operated it for four years. He served on Mohamed Elibiary’s Freedom and Justice Foundation board alongside arch Islamist Abdulhakim Mohammed, former imam at the Islamic Center of Nashville (ICN), who was a mentor to Memphis jihadi Carlos Bledsoe.

Galloway’s predecessor at ACO, Remziya Suleyman also used the “Muslim as victim” narrative and Islamophobia as her rallying cry. AMAC (American Muslim Advisory Council) founder and former chair, Daoud Abudiab will try to revive the Islamophobia tactic with his spring 2015 Islamophobia Conference.

“Islamophobia” is name-calling designed to suppress any criticism of Islam and Muslims. It was invented specifically for this purpose by a Muslim Brotherhood front organization, the International Institute for Islamic Thought (IIIT). The IIIT was part of a 5 year terrorism financing investigation for being the largest monetary donor to the Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorist group and because it has other questionable ties to terrorist groups.

Being a Muslim Brotherhood insider by virtue of his CAIR leadership, Galloway knows the Islamophobia tactic is losing its impact because subsequent to each jihadi attack, the public is less convinced that Muslims are the real victims. The Associated Presseliminated the term “Islamophobia” from its stylebook which is the media “bible” to guide accuracy in reporting. Remember this the next time you pick up a newspaper or read a report.

Tennessee Islamists Galloway, Suleyman, and AMAC representatives claim that the way to counter what they believe is hate speech against Islam and Muslims, is more speech. But when they don’t like what they hear or when their propaganda is exposed, they revert to bullying.

Whether its “American Muslims” or “Muslim Americans” doing the bullying, they still can’t put lipstick on the Islamophobia pig.

We shouldn’t be making that distinction and should just refer those who act in the name of or to advance Islam and sharia as Muslims. Some Muslims use terror (jihadists) to do it, others wearing suits and ties use the law and intimidation as their form of jihad. They are all Muslims. 

via Islam experts: No-go zones looming for America.

The “no-go zones” in some Western nations, where law enforcement has lost control because of the influence of Islamic law, are coming to America.

That’s according to several Islam experts interviewed by WND who believe the kind of Muslim enclaves that have developed in Europe due to a lack of assimilation will eventually arise in the U.S. as the Muslim population grows.

The zones are enclaves where Muslim immigrants have chosen not to assimilate, and law enforcement has lost some degree of control.

Republican Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal recently told Fox News interviewer Neil Cavuto that the zones are inevitable in America if the country doesn’t insist that immigrant Muslims assimilate.

He said Islamists are setting up their own culture within the United States “to overturn our culture.”

“We need to recognize that threat,” he insisted.

He said there are neighborhoods that could be defined as a no-go zone.

“You can call them whatever term you want, but absolutely there are neighborhoods, we have communities of people that don’t want to integrate or assimilate,” he said.

Islam analyst and expert Robert Spencer of Jihad Watch told WND the zones “aren’t here.”

“But they’re coming as the Muslim population grows,” he warned. “We already see areas such as Dearborn, Michigan: It isn’t a no-go zone — police don’t fear to enter there and non-Muslims aren’t menaced for non-adherence to Shariah norms — but police did the bidding of the Muslim community a couple of years ago and arrested some Christian missionaries solely for the crime of preaching to Muslims. A Shariah crime, not a crime according to any U.S. law.”

David Yerushalmi of the American Freedom Law Center, which has fought legal battles over the Dearborn disputes, said there aren’t any no-go zones in American right now, but Dearborn comes close.

There, evangelical Christians were attacked with rocks and bottles by a Muslim crowd for talking about their faith on public property during an annual Arab festival. When police arrived, they ordered the Christians to leave or face arrest.

Several legal cases over the incident have been resolved in favor of the Christians, but a major one, handled by AFLC, is still under way. It has been granted the highly unusual step of a hearing before a full federal appeals court, which previously denied the Christians’ claims.

Yerushalmi said there have been times when first responders have declined to go into certain riot areas for a time because it “would incite the crowd to more violence.”

He said there aren’t the numbers of Muslims in the U.S. population at the moment to form such no-go-zones.

“However, you have demographics which are changing,” he warned.

Islam analyst Pamela Geller of Atlas Shrugs not only believes the zones are coming, she’s already prepared a strategy to fight them.

“There aren’t large-scale no-go zones here as there are in Europe, but they are coming, because Islam by its very nature is against assimilation into a kaffir (non-Muslim) society. It is supremacist at its core – Islam must dominate and not be dominated,” she told WND.

“So while Muslims have assimilated here to a greater degree than they have in Europe, there are growing Muslim areas in some cities (Dearborn, Newark, etc.) and these will continue to grow. Then there are rural Muslim camps where firearms training and other alarming things have been reported,” she said.

She asserted the U.S. should end immigration from Muslim countries.

Geller argued “there is no reliable way to tell a jihadist or jihadi sympathizer from a ‘moderate.’”

She called on Muslim groups in the U.S. “to renounce the aspects of Islam that contradict constitutional freedoms, or face sedition charges if they try to advance those elements.”

Geller said that when the U.S. Muslim population “grows to the levels we see in European countries, we will face exactly the same thing that Europe is experiencing now.”

“It is startling to think that any country would allow, even unofficially, for a so-called ‘no-go zone,’” Jindal said. “The idea that a free country would allow for specific areas of its country to operate in an autonomous way that is not free and is in direct opposition to its laws is hard to fathom.”
