Speakers honoring the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. at his spiritual home in Atlanta repeated the same message on his national holiday Monday: We’ve come a long way, but there’s still much to be done to fulfill King’s dream.

King’s daughter, the Rev. Bernice King, urged those gathered at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta for the 47th annual Martin Luther King Jr. Annual Commemorative Service to act out against injustice. But she also said they should heed her father’s message of nonviolence.

“We cannot act unless we understand what Dr. King taught us. He taught us that we still have a choice to make: nonviolent coexistence or violent co-annihilation,” she said. “I challenge you to work with us as we help this nation choose nonviolence.”

The courage and sacrifice of those who participated in the civil rights movement of the 1950s and 1960s provides a model for those seeking to effect change today, Bernice King said, adding, “We praise God for a new generation of activists.”

Commemorative events and service projects were organized nationwide to celebrate King’s life and legacy. In cities nationwide, demonstrators also used the occasion to protest persistent inequality. (Read more about Martin Luther King’s legacy HERE)

Increasing domestic oil could rob peace from Islamic terrorism

Since 9/11/01, Americans have been forced to pay Trillions of dollars in protecting our citizens, properties, and more importantly, Constitutional freedoms from Islamic terror. Radical Islamic terrorists demand Americans to abandon our Constitution, God, and (y)our Holy Bible; all to be replaced by an unacceptable covenant: Islam, Quran, and Sharia Law.

President Obama, most Capitol Hill Democrats, a few RINO Republicans, and oil-producing nations have squeezed Americans’ budgets by decreasing production of oil and gasoline; thus, increasing demands and prices.

US Government agencies deny entrepreneurs drilling rights for domestic oil on proven public properties and in oceans’ known potentials.

Radical Islamic nations in the Middle East and North Africa depend on oil sales. They rely on further assistances from, primarily, the USA; only for these governments to provide military support to terrorist groups within their own kingdoms and elsewhere. These same terrorist groups are at war with America. Sound crazy? Well, it is!

As Americans produce and purchase its own oil and sell more to other nations, America is becoming more oil-independent and fiscally sound by reducing consumers’ energy of transportation and residential heating costs. Our economy is aided with lower manufacturing costs leading to greater export sales.

America can become oil-independent and economically boundless.

Increasing domestic oil and gasoline production will bolster our economy while reducing radical Islamic nations from bankrolling radical Islamic groups; leaving Islamic militants into financial starvation.

Simple economics could restore peace, again!

RNC READY TO ROLL ON DEBATE, PRIMARY PLANS
With the date of the 2016 Republican Convention set for July, a final verdict on the GOP presidential debate schedule and adoption of proposed primary rules are the highly anticipated announcements up next at the Republican National Committee’s winter meeting in San Diego. The early national convention date (July 18 - 21 in Cleveland) is part of move by the RNC to condense the nominating process and allow the party’s eventual nominee to access general election funds sooner. Hypocrisy Isn't Progress

(jewishworldreview.com) - The presence of Palestinian Authority leader Mahmoud Abbas at today's unity rally in Paris probably seemed quite natural to those whose knowledge of the his activities is limited to the statements praising him as a champion of peace from President nObama and Secretary of State Hanoi Kerry.

But the baggage Abbas, who was given an unusually prominent place in the front rank of the march symmetrically balancing the presence of Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu on the other side of French President Francois Hollande, carried a great deal of baggage to the event in terms of his own association with terrorism and fomenting of hate against Jews.

The instinct of the news media is to embrace Abbas's presence there along with that of Netanyahu as proof that the march was a transcendent kumbaya moment that will mark a turning point in the struggle against terror and anti-Semitism. But the question more sober observers will struggle with is whether Abbas's poor record on these issues does more to undermine progress than the symbolism did to advance it.

Why question Abbas at all?

Though the nObama administration and all of Europe treats him as a hero of peace, his personal record as well as that of his government gives the lie to such assurances. His critics will bring up his long service as a deputy to arch terrorist Yasir Arafat as well as his doctoral thesis denying the truth of the Holocaust. But we don't have to go back to the period preceding his service as president of the PA (an office in which he is currently serving in the 10th year of the four-year term to which he was elected).

Since taking over the PA after Arafat's death, Abbas has not only turned down peace offers and refused to negotiate seriously with Israel, he has repeatedly stated that he will never accept the legitimacy of a Jewish state no matter where its borders are drawn. He has also continued to support the "right of return," which is inconsistent with Israel's existence though at times he has said things to the English and Israeli press that contradicts those given to his own people.

Moreover, rather than standing in unity with the world against terrorism, Abbas signed a unity pact with Hamas terrorists last year, an act that blew up the peace talks Secretary of State Hanoi Kerry worked to keep alive.

But even more than that, Abbas has in recent months personally incited his people to commit acts of violence as part of an effort to falsely convince them that the mosques on the Temple Mount are in danger.

Abbas's praise of a terrorist who tried to assassinate a rabbi advocating Jewish prayer rights on the Mount as someone who went straight to heaven tells us all we need to know about the PA. This is, of course, in addition to the steady drumbeat of incitement against Jews and Israel on the official PA media controlled by Abbas.

Indeed, had the Charlie Hebdo and kosher market murderers committed their acts in Israel, there is little doubt that Abbas would have honored them by naming a square or some edifice after them. It is also certain that had they been captured alive after taking part in an act of terrorism, he would have supported taking Israeli hostages in order to free them in a prisoner exchange, after which he would have greeted them as heroes as he has terrorists who committed equally heinous crimes against Jews.

One may say that, to use Francois de La Rochefoucauld's memorable phrase, Abbas's presence at the rally is a classic case of hypocrisy being "the homage vice pays to virtue." But any good that might come from the symbolism of Abbas being there also reminds us that it will take more than one rally, however impressive it might have been, to defeat Islamist terror.

What France and the world need to do to defeat terror is to acknowledge that the problem lies not so much in the few who commit these acts but in the vast number of people in the Muslim and Arab worlds that either rationalize or support such acts. Progress will come not when Mahmoud Abbas marches in Paris but when he stops supporting it at home.

Until then, inviting him to such events only undermines the purpose of the rally.

American Sniper, Chris Kyle and Liberal Loathing

On December 2nd, 2013, Eddie Ray Routh reportedly told his sister and brother in law that he had sold his soul for a new truck.

Those were his words apparently…”I sold my soul for a new truck.”

The pickup he was driving wasn’t his. It belonged to someone else and Routh’s sister and brother in law called the police.

The trial of Eddie Ray Routh begins next month and he’s on trial for murder.

It’s not going to be one of those ‘IF’ trials…it’s a ‘WHY’ trial as Routh has admitted what he did…we just don’t know why he did it. We all want to know…why?

Why did a troubled Marine who had brushed in and out of mental care shoot and kill Chad Littlefield and Chris Kyle? They were trying to help Routh. They were there for him to talk, work things out, ease Routh back into the world and provide him with friendship he could lean on.

But that’s not how it ended up.

It ended on that early December day when Routh, at a gun range near Chalk Texas, shot and killed Littlefield and Chris Kyle and then took Kyle’s truck and drove to his sister’s home. She asked about the pickup according to reports. Where did he get it? WHEN did he get it. How…did he get it?

As you know our nation is losing twenty-two (22) veterans everyday to suicide. We are losing untold hundreds due to incompetence of the Veterans Affairs healthcare system. Much has been said about this nationally. Congress seemed to act quickly with the Veteran’s choice card issued under the Veterans Access, Choice and Accountability Act. However, it is anything but a choice. Veterans are now finding out they cannot choose a doctor; they have little choice as to when their appointment is to be. Veterans are not being paid for mileage as is required by law. Many of the appointments are many miles beyond the absurd distances they are required to drive already to get care. An increasing number of vets are not getting any care under this new system because there are no doctors “signed up” or “in the system”. Vets are still waiting because the VA still has to first diagnose a “need” then try for month to fill the appointment. Moreover, to add insult to what is great injury, veterans are having to pay for the appointments as the VA is delaying payment to the provider, and the vet is made responsible for the VA’s nonpayment. Veterans are finding out there are far too many hoops to jump through for this new program to be in anyway effective. But then that was the point wasn't it? The Veterans Access, Choice and Accountability Act was a political ploy to make the American people think our leadership cares for America’s veterans. It is clear you do not. The VA is spending millions of healthcare dollars on advertising and website development to convince the American people they care about vets. It is clear you do not. This letter is not to tell you how I want you to vote or act as my elected representative. It is a demand. I am demanding you, this day, draft legislation to give American veterans a healthcare account that they may buy their own health care insurance with. The VA hospital system is out of date, out of touch and out of control. It would take hundreds of years to fix the VA and many thousands of American veterans will die waiting for you to fulfill the commitment we as a nation agreed to. It cost the United States approximately $750-$900 to cover a veteran under the current VA hospital system. Those numbers are most likely much higher. Create legislation that will put this money into an account, much like the VA education funds, and let vets buy their own healthcare. Place no restrictions on it save that they can only spend the funds on health insurance, i.e. HMOs or PPOs. Also allow insurance companies to cover and entire family if they can as a way to be competitive. Many families do not pay as much to cover all of their members as the VA spends to cover just one vet. Let them have the whole $750-$900. The current chain of VA hospitals can bid for these funds like any other healthcare provider. After all if VA healthcare is so much better than civilian health care as they say, then vets will overwhelmingly choose the VA hospital system. Give them real choice; give them real healthcare, now!

Veterans without hope.

I am Andy Smith. I am, by VA standards, a 100% disabled combat veteran. I want to share with you some things that have been on my mind as of late. Today we will lose 22 American veterans to suicide. And tomorrow we will lose the same number. We have been losing roughly that number everyday for years now. The number is increasing and will continue to increase. We are told it is because of alcoholism, drugs, PTSD, pain and war wounds; and it is all of those. However, there is something no one is willing to admit. It is that most veterans have no hope. We as young men and women were shown pictures of our forefathers and waving flags and eagles flying free. We were stirred by grand words that had meaning like freedom, valor, honor and duty. Many answered the call to serve America with all that we had and were. And we did, many of us gave our fortunes, sanity, families, limbs and many, our lives to show our love for sweet America. So why have we no hope? Why can we not find solace in those grand words anymore? Because they have taken on different meanings to us. As American veterans we face an impossible situation. Our sweet mother has and is doing the impossible. We signed a contract with this nation binding us to her service and we did so with fervor. We were promised that we or those we left behind would be taken care of if we fell on duty. Many of us, today, sit waiting for this to be fulfilled. Many are being murdered by the medical administrators placed in watch care over us. You say that murder is such a strong and inappropriate word. How does one define the actions of medical personnel and administrators that kill American veterans to obtain bonus money and continue to receive luxurious benefits? Is it not murder to lie about a veteran’s cancer results? Is it not murder to fill a veteran with powerful painkillers rather than give them their desperately need surgery. How it is not murder to deny a veteran has PTSD leaving him to his demons and alcoholism to suffer for years. Is it not murder to let veterans starve and freeze to death on city streets inches from VA property? If a lifeguard, entrusted with the watch care of swimmer allowed that same swimmer to flounder and then drowned would that not be murder? If it was found that the lifeguard made plans to let the swimmer drowned, would it be murder then? What if we found that lifeguard actually got bonuses for being ever vigilant, but instead chose to sleep, would that be murder? You see this is the impossible. We as veterans were torn down to our core and remade with words like honor and valor and duty, yet this is how America treats us. We see Congressmen making majestic speeches about how they will do all in their power to help vets. Then we are issued a cheap piece of plastic bearing the most ironic title ever thought of, the Choice Card. i.e. Veterans Access, Choice and Accountability Act. A card that gives a vet no choice of doctors, a program where you still wait for months, and the continuing opportunity to sit waiting on the Veterans Administration to continue to decide if you really need your medications. Vets are finding themselves in dire financial situations with the choice card where the VA is lagging in its payment to the non-VA providers leaving the veteran being forced to pay for the healthcare that was supposed to be giving to them. This is the impossible! Veterans cannot resolve in our minds how this is even possible. It is beyond our ability to comprehend that anyone would allow this atrocity to happen let alone continue. This is betrayal beyond what we can understand and withstand. And so amidst the storm of physical pain and mental anguish we are cut down by betrayal. We find in our suffering we are not in the sweet caring embrace of mother America we are instead held fast in a death grip. We find a cold blade deep in our hearts. And we have no hope. Death is a much more desired thought than that of this betrayal.

But you say, “Andy, really aren’t you just being dramatic?” Yes, I am being very dramatic. We are locked in nothing less than a classic drama. The Phoenix VA was the first exposed to have been murdering vets by denying them care. Then as the months have passed city after city, VA facility after VA facility has been exposed doing the very same things. Even as the Phoenix VA was coming under fire by the public, the Veterans Administration, began a multimillion dollar ad complain on FaceBook pages and several other social media websites. They spent millions creating these websites, pages, and filming Hollywood quality videos, to convince the public that they care. The sites were not link from the main VA website, nor were they advertised to us veterans. The sites simple were placed in the public arena and then advertised on search engines and social media websites. These sites had no purpose to veterans or their care but were nothing less than good old fashioned propaganda. No these ad campaigns did nothing and still do nothing to benefitted vets in any way, but tried to convince the public of the VA’s altruistic intentions.

My wife and I moved from Arizona, because of the failing VA health care system in that state. I waited 10 years for much needed back surgery, only to receive it and then get no follow up care. My back was not entirely fixed, nor was I given any physical therapy afterwards. The doctor’s notes actually say, “Patient refuses hydrotherapy…” This is of course a lie. We are now living in Florida and thought it would be better. It is not. I see the same waste, and abuse here as I saw in Tucson and Phoenix. The Tampa VA Hospital spent an absurd amount of money on a new wing that is supposed to be for veterans. There is an indoor swimming pool, climbing walls, and food court atrium, and putting greens. One would think someone actually care for us. Sadly no, this was yet a way to spend the funds we need for medicine and care, on nice buildings with lots of wonderful features that vets will never see and hardly ever get to use. The pool alone has approximately 125 problems that the contractor needs to fix before it can open. The building is sitting near empty because of safety issues, and structural problems. The pool itself is leaking 3 inches of water a day, and may never be able to be fixed. The glass in the windows may not be hurricane rated, the water circulation and heating system does not work to code, and there is even a rumor that the pool itself is not grounded properly. Yet, the Tampa VA spent millions on hiring a “world famous architect” to design this monstrosity. And the list goes on and on. Each VA facility is eyeball deep in problems, so many even if we sat down and tried to list all of them at only one location we could be working on the list for years.

Folks, this is a last desperate effort I suppose. I am writing this to plead a case as it were for the American veteran. There are some basics you may or may not know. We, as veterans, have a contract with America. We swore to uphold the constitution and obey the orders of those appointed over us. Many have done that with great and costly loss. We simple want, and in my cases, need what is owed to us. As you no doubt know, there has been a great deal of fuss in the press about the VA and what is being done by the leadership to fix the terrible problems that have been going on for decades now. Lots of representatives got elected with VA reform as one of their platforms. Lots of folks running around saying they are going to fix this. But nothing, NOTHING but press releases about how much money they are throwing at the problem, nothing but how many people they "might", "possibly" "could" "should", "would" hold accountable. But in reality there is nothing. There are clear laws in the U.S.Code requiring jail time and fines for the things many of these criminals have done to veterans. But, they are simply allowed to retire, or change to another department in the government. And even if they throw a thousand or two thousand of these murders in jail, how will that make veterans health care better? It has only made VA employees more vile. Laws have been passed and there are still huge waiting lists for care. But we tell the folks at the VA, "Hey, aren’t you supposed to be getting me an appointment within 30 days?" We hear the same stalling, "This department hasn't gotten any funding yet." or "The hospital administration has not yet drafted clear guidelines as to who qualifies for that”...bla bla bla… And what about that new law anyway? When we start looking really close at it, we see loopholes, lots of them. First off you need to live more than 40 miles from a VA facility. Well there are few places where that is true. The VA has little one or two person offices all over America to meet this requirement, whether they are a healthcare facility or not. Well surely someone qualifies for this? If you do the VA says your appointment needs to be more than 30 days away. But where does one get this appointment? From the VA of course. And it is the VA hospital that you have to wait for months and years on to be seen only for them to decide whether you need treatment or not. If they say you need something done, back surgery for example, then the 30 day limit comes into play. If they never make a diagnosis, you will never have a procedure. I was in desperate need of back surgery; terrible pain for years. Finally, after 10 years, and the fact I could no longer walk without aid and the threat of a congressional complaint, and law suit by my wife. I got back surgery. And that was all. No physical therapy, no hydro-therapy, no pain counseling.

Dear people, something needs to be done, someone needs to take up this fight. Something real, not more press releases, or stickers, we need real help real soon. If something isn't done real soon, I fear for our countries future. I am going to say this and not as a threat. If America does not fix this problem, and do it in a way that is over the top in a way that clearly satisfies the injustice. We as a nation will become defenseless. What do I mean? My last name is Smith think of all the young people in my family alone; all of my nieces, nephews, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th cousins. We are now talking about dozens of young people. All very bright, only one or two that cannot qualify for military service. And NONE of them are joining the military. Not because of what I or my other relatives have said. No person in my family has told anyone of them to not join the military. But they have been listening, and watching, and learning. Here's something I heard a 2nd cousin say, “Why should I join when they just lie to you from the time you going it to the time you get out and they just let you die, psst Hell no!" She is bright, studying to be a nurse. And has no intention of ever joining, not even the reserves. This scares the daylights out of me. And if anyone had an inkling as to how widespread this was, it should terrify people to the point they could not sleep and were ringing their congressman's phone off the desk. This is exploding across Facebook, Twitter, and the rest of social media. Young people are watching. Now think what happens if veterans actually start encouraging young folks to exclude the military in their future plans rather than letting them figure it out? Who will be the Airman, or Marines, or soldiers and sailors?

What do I think? Well as I said, I think it needs to be over the top at this point. I long said we could fix a lot of things in the VA healthcare system if VA healthcare employees could only receive VA healthcare instead of the premium plans they have available to them. But there are way too many unions involved for that to ever happen. I think we need freedom. I think we need a healthcare account that we can go buy real healthcare with. The numbers look like it costs $750 - $900 a month to cover a veteran with healthcare. (Or at least that is what it cost the VA to cover a vet.) Give us a government VA account to go buy coverage with. If VA hospitals are so wondrous, then vets will overwhelmingly choose to stay with the VA as their healthcare provider. It would work much like our education account. Sure there needs to be safeguards, making sure vets only buy healthcare. Many think we can fix this problem. It cannot be fixed. Every dollar Congress throws at the VA it is wasted on more and bigger bonuses, or remodeling projects, and not to hire doctors or give us medicine and procedures we need. Thousands of veterans have been murdered. We need real healthcare, and we need real freedom. However, this needs to be done quickly; vets increasingly do not trust the VA. We have been told for years that we are just paranoid. But the truth is coming out. We are being systematically eradicated, without a voice. As I stated at the beginning of this article, we lose 22 veterans to suicide every day that is one every 65 minutes. And because of the cover-ups numbers may actually be higher. These numbers do not include those of us who have been murdered. Do you see why we are taking our lives? We would rather not live in a world where this kind of America exists. Physical pain is one thing, but the emotional pain of betrayal is a bitter poison, to which we have no defense. We protected you; we only ask you do the same. Please be a voice to give us what we need and what was promised to us.

     (coachisright.com) - Wonder no more why the Supreme Court voted for nObamacare or why New York Mayor Bill de Blasio re-appointed Brooklyn Judge Laura Johnson who freed without bail 2 defendants who had threatened police just days after the double assassination of officers in Bedford Stuyvesant.

     The communist version of law is “social justice” as opposed to the rule of law. The Constitution protects the individual, whereas “social justice” protects the aims of the collective.

     That is why the Communist Party began sending certain of its members to law school; to gain credibility in the courts and subvert the Constitution by distorting the intent of the law. Eventually the Party controlled the law schools themselves. And anyone trying to challenge the system will usually run headlong into a communist court. Case dismissed.

     The House Un-American Activities Committee addressed the problem of communist lawyers in 1959. The main focus of their investigation was the National Lawyers Guild and notably, Yale Law.

     The hearings were opened with a statement by the International Red Aid (IRA) from its Second International Conference in Moscow (1927). The Red Aid was established by the Comintern in 1922 for the purpose of providing organizations of lawyers for the legal defense of Communists and communist causes in all parts of the world.

According to the International Red Aid:

     “The proletariat must gather and organize those lawyers and learned barristers in various countries who sympathize with the liberation struggle and are prepared together with the legal bureau of the IRA, to assist and give legal help to the victims of the class domination of the bourgeouis . . . to organize legal bureaus in every country where they do not yet exist where this is possible, in particular in England the U.S.A., and Japan . . .”

The Un-American Activities Committee then remarked:

     “The committee is issuing the present report as a result of substantial evidence that the Communists, over the course of the past several decades, have sought and are seeking to pervert our democratic processes not only by their campaign of political subversion but by a parallel operation which may be designated as “legal subversion.” This operation involves subversion by Communists trained in the law.

     The mechanics of legal subversion extend far beyond any legitimate process of legal representation. They embrace the efforts of a conspiratorial minority, trained in the use of the legal instruments of our society to turn those instruments into weapons for the destruction of our free society.

     Though relatively few in number, the principals of this operation enjoy a disproportionate influence in the American community as a result of legal training, schooling in Communist subversive techniques and the fact that they are supported by the entire Communist apparatus. Moreover, each is made the subject of favorable publicity build-ups on the part of the Communist Party, its fronts and fellow travelers in all walks of life.

An Egyptian government website features a warning that the Muslim Brotherhood has a lobby in the U.S. disguised as civil society organizations. The United Arab Emirates has made similar statements and the U.S. Justice Department has confirmed the existence of a Muslim Brotherhood branch in America.

The Egyptian government’s State Information Service has an entire section devoted to documenting the violence and terrorism of the Muslim Brotherhood. Egypt is furious with the U.S. for its stance on the Brotherhood. President El-Sisi told the Washington Post in December 2013, then as Defense Minister, that the U.S. has turned its back on Egypt and is misunderstanding the Islamist group.

Most importantly, the section prominently features an article about the Muslim Brotherhood operating in America and influencing U.S. policy through various fronts. It cites a study done by the Ibn Khaldoun Center for Development Studies, a highly-respected organization in Cairo.

“She [Center executive director Dalia Zeyadah] warned that the MB has a network based in the US and operating through civil society organizations engaged in community service domains there. These organizations, she also warned, aim to spread the MB’s extremist ideologies in the US,” the Egyptian government website says.

The U.S. government confirmed the existence of a U.S. Muslim Brotherhood with a network a fronts under different names during the prosecution of the Holy Land Foundation, one such trial.

The Justice Department’s list of unindicted co-conspirators in that trial includes a list a U.S. Muslim Brotherhood entities and members. The list includes the Islamic Society of North America, the North American Islamic Trust and the Council on American-Islamic Relations. The lattermost organization was listed as an entity of the U.S. Brotherhood’s Palestine Committee, a sub-section set up to support Hamas.

The United Arab Emirates caused a stir recently when it banned the Brotherhood and some of its most powerful affiliates in the U.S. and Europe, including CAIR, the Muslim American Societyand Islamic Relief.

The UAE justified its designation of the U.S-based groups as terrorist organizations despite the immense backlash. The Foreign Minister of the country said it was based on the group’s incitement and funding of terrorism.

Twelve cartoonists are dead in Paris for violating Islam’s blasphemy law. Four Jews are dead for being among the people that the Qur’an claims are “the most intense of the people in animosity toward the believers” (5:82). Muslims have recently attacked and killed police officers in New York City, Canada, and France. And Thursday, Muslims fired on police who were raiding their terror operations, and two of the jihadis were killed. Europe is under siege. As is the free world.
Murderous jihad attacks are coming more frequently than ever, and there is no reason to think they’re going to slow down. In a new Islamic State video, a jihadi declares: “I say to all French people who think that the Islamic State won’t arrive in Europe, with God’s help, we will arrive in Europe. We will expand across all of Europe, to France, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland and also the USA. I say to all my brothers that cannot immigrate and join the Islamic caliphate, try to resist with all means, kill them, slaughter them, burn their cars and homes. I say to my brothers, if you see a police officer—kill him. Kill them all. Kill all infidels that you see in the streets.”
Regarding Belgium in particular, “three Islamic State militants threatened attacks on Belgium in a video broadcast on Wednesday, the Belga news agency reported.” And the next day jihadis carried through on their threats. “I heard a sort of explosion, followed by several gunshots,” said a witness. Another added that “machine guns were firing for about 10 minutes.” A third said he saw two North African men “dressed all in black carrying a bag of the same color.” Still another said: “I heard two explosions. I left, then I saw two young people run — Arab types between 25 and 30 — who hurtled down in the dark with woolly hats on their heads.”
Said Thierry Werts of the Belgian federal prosecutor’s office: “This operational cell of about ten people, some of whom had returned from Syria, was on the point of launching significant terrorist attacks in Belgium. During the search, certain suspects immediately opened fire at special forces of the police with automatic weapons. They opened fire for several minutes. Two suspects were killed and a third was arrested.” He added that “even after one of the suspects was lying on the ground injured, he continued to fire.”
They were, in other words, what Western authorities have shown no indication of being: determined and tenacious, even to the point of death. In the wake of the Charlie Hebdo jihad murders, there have been very few Western media outlets with the courage to stand up to the jihadis’ violent Sharia intimidation and demonstrate their commitment to defending the freedom of speech by republishing the Muhammad cartoons. Instead, most have given the jihadis exactly what they killed for: submission to Islamic laws forbidding criticism of Muhammad.
This submission heralds the death of free society. Once an idea – any idea — is established as beyond criticism, its adherents are free to exert their will on the larger population unchallenged. If that idea is Islam, it involves the imperative to kill or subjugate unbelievers that jihadis worldwide are acting upon. The shared objective of groups like the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and of jihadis who kill cartoonists is to intimidate the West into criminalizing criticism of Islam, which will hinder or obliterate altogether the ability of Western officials to understand the motives and goals of the jihadis. Then the jihad can proceed unopposed.
That’s why it isn’t just ill-judged, it is nothing short of disastrous that so many Western media outlets declined to reprint the cartoons, and that so many Western leaders have made statements assuring us that they believe in free expression, but of course within proper limits, and one should not offend people’s religious sensibilities. In top-secret talks to settle federal lawsuits against the NYPD for monitoring mosques, the city is weighing a demand that it scrub from its Web site a report on Islamic terrorists, The Post has learned.
The groundbreaking, 92-page report, titled “Radicalization in the West: The Homegrown Threat,” angers critics who say it promotes “religious profiling” and discrimination against Muslims. But law-enforcement sources say removing the report now would come at the worst time — after mounting terror attacks by Islamic extremists in Paris, Boston, Sydney and Ottawa.
Here in New York, Zale Thompson, a man who heeded online calls by ISIS for jihad, attacked two NYPD officers with a hatchet in October.
“The harm is that it sends the message that the NYPD is going to back down on its counterterrorism effort in the name of political correctness,” said a former NYPD official. “Shame on the NYPD if they do.”
Sources familiar with the case confirmed that removal of the NYPD report is one of the major sticking points in settlement negotiations.

Spain says the measure is desperately needed to help its border guards secure the border of Ceuta and Melilla – two Spanish cities fenced off from Morocco, but being invaded by hundreds of Moroccan Muslim fence jumpers everyday.

Even worse, residents of those towns are suffering the adverse affects of hordes of Muslim illegals running wildly in the streets, stealing, vandalizing, and raping their women.

Its police have been accused of breaking international rights conventions by beating African migrants who climb the fences into the territories and deporting them on the spot without asylum procedures — so-called “pushbacks”.

The human rights commissioner of the 47-nation Council of Europe, Nils Muiznieks, said after meeting officials in Melilla and Madrid that the plan to legalize such deportations was “in clear breach of human rights law”.

“In many countries I have seen pushbacks, but nowhere are they legal or legalized,” he told a news conference in Madrid.

“It would be a very bad precedent if such practices were enshrined in law because that would mean the beginning of the end for the asylum system.”
