There is also an unmistakable tendency to disregard portions that are too straightforward for their overly-programmed and distorted minds to comprehend or which don’t agree with their “modern and sophisticated” interpretations. In reading through the Constitution this morning, as I do from time to time when confronted with the absurdities of the compost pile that now passes for our government, one particular passage happened to catch my attention. Iran Responsible for Killing 14 Percent of U.S. Troops in Iraq
{Adam Kredo} ~ Nearly 200 U.S. troops have been killed and nearly 1,000 injured by Iranian-made explosives in Iraq, according to new disclosures from a partially declassified report conducted by U.S. Central Command and described by sources to the Washington Free Beacon... The number of U.S. deaths resulting from Iranian terrorism were revealed for the first time on Wednesday by Sen. Ted Cruz (R., Texas) during a hearing focusing on the nObama administration’s failure to prosecute terrorists directly responsible for the deaths of Americans. At least 196 U.S. service members fighting in Iraq were killed directly as a result of Iranian-made explosively formed penetrators, or EFPs, according to Cruz and congressional sources familiar with Centcom’s mostly classified report. The deaths took place between 2003 and 2011. The Iranian explosive devices wounded another 861 U.S. soldiers, and a total of 1,534 attacks were carried out on U.S. military members over this period, according to sources familiar with the report, which was provided to Cruz’s office..

{Bill Gertz} ~ Russian nuclear forces conducted a large-scale exercise last week that included test firings of several long-range missiles along with dual-capable shorter range ballistic and cruise missiles, according to U.S. officials... The U.S. Strategic Command, meanwhile, is conducting a similar nuclear command and control exercise, but without firing any nuclear missiles. Iran: U.S. Must Pay Reparations to Islamic Republic
{Adam Kredo} ~ An Iranian military leader is demanding that the United States pay Tehran reparations for the deaths of more than 250,000 Iranians at the hands of U.S. affiliates, according to regional reports... Mohammad Reza Naqdi, a brigadier general in Iran’s volunteer Basij Force, said on Thursday that the nObama administration “should pay ransom” for its supposed role in killing Iranians during the 1979 Islamic Revolution that brought hardline extremists into power. The demand for a ransom comes just a day after Iranians across the country took to the streets to rally against America and Israel. They burned U.S. flags and chanted, “Death to America.” It was disclosed on Wednesday that Iran has been found to be directly responsible for the deaths of nearly 200 U.S. troops in Iraq and the wounding of nearly 1,000 others. The nObama administration has been hesitant to prosecute Iran under U.S. terrorism laws for these killings..

We know from her emails that she informed her daughter Chelsea and the then-prime minister of Egypt within 12 hours of the murder of the U.S. ambassador to Libya, J. Christopher Stevens, that he had been killed in Benghazi by al-Qaida. We know from the public record that the nObama administration’s narrative blamed the killings of the ambassador and his guards on an anonymous crowd’s spontaneous reaction to an anti-Muhammad video. Over this past weekend we learned that her own embassy staff in Tripoli told her senior staff in Washington the day after the killings that the video was not an issue, and very few Libyans had seen it. {LEO HOHMANN} ~ It costs U.S. taxpayers nearly $65,000 to resettle one Middle Eastern refugee over the first five years, which is 12 times what it would cost to care for that same refugee in a neighboring country in the region, according to a new study... The Center for Immigration Studies cites “heavy welfare use” as the main reason why refugees are so costly to resettle. This flies in the face of oft-quoted comments by U.S. mayors who claim refugees add to their tax base and promote economic growth, making for a more “culturally diverse” and “economically resilient” city. City Elects First Muslim Majority City Council
{rickwells.us} ~ Hamtramck, Michigan, has become the first city in the nation to elect a Muslim majority city council, adding two new members to the two of six reelected to positions they already held... The black reporter in the video describes how now the “diversity” is going to be reflected, confusing or perhaps not understanding the definition of the word. To him it may be a synonym for not white, but with a 66% majority Muslim representation, the results of the election are less diversity, if anything, no more. Jamal Alturki, the “average citizen voter” interviewed also made that mistake as he described his pride in what was achieved for “their” city, considering it a big victory for their “diversity.” Maybe it means takeover? Anam Miah, who was reelected to another term, described it as sending a message not only to Hamtramck but throughout the region that people want “their” representation in offices. Translation: They want Muslim government, and maybe Sharia Law. There’s nothing racist in that statement though, Islam’s not a race when they talk that way, only when non-Muslims have a problem with the invasion. {Allen B. West} ~ We live in a constitutional republic. At least that’s what we’re intended to have, but if we’re not careful it will morph into a constitutional monarchy... In a constitutional republic, the rule of law is preeminent, along with individual sovereignty and the government operates with the consent of the governed. In a constitutional monarchy, the people are ruled by edict emanating from the executive, who casts himself above the rule of law. And this is where we have devolved in these nObama years: rule by executive order, memoranda, and bureaucratic fiat — we are not being governed. And just like the recent EPA regulations on energy based on climate change assertions, we have another nObama edict with which we must contend. Wooley wrote that the statement "There is a G0D" was both a fact and opinion for some, but her teacher didn’t agree — telling Wooley that both her answers were wrong and that she had to admit that G0D wasn’t real.

But the West Memorial Junior High faculty released a statement — which has been deleted from the Katy Independent School District's website — that said this assignment wasn’t meant to create conflict over religious beliefs. In fact, the worksheet was meant to encourage critical thinking among students, according to the statement..

These seeming approvals can tempt those who desire the implementation of the nuclear deal to assume falsely that the bellicose rhetoric of Iran's leaders and the continued opposition to the JCPOA are just face-saving turns of phrase. This same shallow mode of thinking assumes that last week's launch of an experimental ballistic missile by Iran was a bone thrown in the direction of hardliners who oppose the nuclear deal. Iran's leaders seem to have calculated that the missile test would not invite a reassessment by the P5+1 signatories, despite the fact that the launch was a clear violation of the JCPOA. Iran's leaders were proven correct: both Russia and China refused to condemn the missile test at the United Nations.
