CAIR and MAS representatives met with “senior U.S. government officials” just days before Christmas to discuss the groups’ inclusion on the United Arab Emirates’ official list of terrorist organizations.

Bachmann: Obama Has Embraced “Islamic Jihad” at Every Turn

By David McCabe. Outgoing Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) says President Obama has embraced the “agenda of Islamic jihad” at every turn.

“I have been very surprised, to answer your question, to see the president of the United States, at every turn, cut the legs off of our ally Israel, and in fact embrace and lift up the agenda of Islamic jihad,” she said in an interview released Wednesday with “Washington Watch,” a radio show produced by the socially conservative Family Research Council.

Bachmann criticized the president for writing to Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, to encourage a deal on Tehran’s nuclear program.

“This really is a spiritual battle that we’re dealing with,” she added. “And while the president continues to say that this is not about the religion of Islam, I beg to differ.” Read more from this story HERE.

Fired up for Christmas

Note: this is a repeat of a Jot from previous years, but it is oft requested...

As many of you know, I grew up on our family farm in Northeastern Ohio. It was part of a land grant in payment to my grandfather seven generations back for fighting in the Revolutionary War. At the time my grandfather sent two of his sons to claim the land, it was wilderness, the most western part of the new America, and most certainly Indian country. They had to carve out their inheritance while defending themselves and learning how to farm fertile, but rather low land. The house they built was a sturdy two room structure with a loft above, with two inch planks pegged together as walls and large beams, also pegged together, held the house up over the crude cellar. The house was added on to in 1840.

The entire farm was handed down from Wilson to Wilson from around 1800 till even today, when my son will take over the property. We all were raised on this farm since then. When my father went on to be with the Lord in 1989, my mother continued living at the farm until she was unable to do so and moved in to our Maryland home. During those times before, we would pack up the family and "go home" for Christmas. Sometimes, my mother didn't make the best decisions at Christmas time, especially since it was my dad's birthday, and the anniversary of his death was just a few days after my mother's birthday, also in December. Mother, however, never wanted to admit that her decisions might not be the best.

We were finished opening presents and all the paper from the gifts was stuffed into a couple of trash bags. There was no garbage pick up at the farm. We burned everything in an old sawed-off 50 gallon drum out about 30 feet from the milk house. Now this drum was old and had charred and rusted down to about half its height. On this Christmas morning, the wind was blowing pretty hard and there was no snow on the ground. I protested that it was not a good idea to burn these wrappings, but mom insisted--she was a neat-kin to the max and didn't want the trash in her house another second. So I reluctantly complied. I set the wrappings on fire and soon they blew all over the pasture, setting tiny fires as they landed.

These tiny fires grew into bigger fires and soon about half an acre of pasture was on fire with the wind shifting toward the barns. I was fighting the fire with a shovel and an old gunny sack while everyone else was in the house enjoying the morning, unaware of the fiasco outside. I finally prevailed over the fire. I came in the house with smokey clothes, smudges on my face, arms and hands, and my eyebrows were singed. My mother calmly sat across the kitchen table and without any hesitation said, "You shouldn't have burned that trash with that wind blowing like it was." Ephesians 6:2,3 says, "Honor thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise; that it may be well with you and you may live long on the earth." That is, if you survive the fires <wink>.

An Obamacare-created and taxpayer-funded insurance company in Iowa has been taken over by the state due to a financial crisis.

CoOportunity Health is Iowa’s insurance cooperative — a nonprofit insurance company created by the Affordable Care Act to supposedly undercut the large, for-profit insurers that Democrats castigated as “greedy” and “evil” during the debate over health care reform.

After just beginning to offer plans in 2013, the company’s already insolvent and has now been taken over by the state of Iowa, insurance commissioner Nick Gerhart announced Wednesday. CoOpportunity doesn’t have enough cash on hand to be sure it can pay claims for its 120,000 customers, if necessary. The company has only $17 million in cash and assets, Gerhart said.

The federal government’s Obamacare administrator the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services initially gave CoOportunity a $112 million loan award in Feb. 2012, but doled out an additional $32.7 million emergency award to keep the company solvent in September of this year.

That wasn’t enough to keep it in business. CoOpportunity’s management expected to receive more federal money than they did, putting them in continuing financial peril.

Obama Admin. Publishes Over a Thousand New Regs During Holidays

The Obama administration is cramming like a college student trying to study for a final exam, publishing more than 1,200 new regulations in the last 15 days alone, according to data from Regulations.gov.

Energy and environment rules are the biggest category, with 139 published by the federal government in the last 15 days, according to Regulations.gov.

One of the most contentious new regulations is the EPA’s coal ash rule. The rule has been criticized by the coal industry and environmental groups — though for entirely different reasons — and has a price tag of up to $20.3 billion. The rule was finalized last Friday.

Before that, the Obama administration finalized a new ozone standard that could become the costliest rule ever proposed by the EPA. The EPA released the rule while millions of Americans were getting ready to eat some turkey and pie for Thanksgiving.

Regulations listed on Regulations.gov include “Notices from the Federal Register; Proposed Rules; Final Rules.” The government website shows that 309 rules were proposed or finalized in the last 15 days and 892 notices from the federal register were received — some of which could lead to new rulemakings.

The Obama administration’s nominee for a senior legal position at the Pentagon is one of the congressional staffers accused by Republicans and intelligence officials of stealing classified documents from the Central Intelligence Agency, Fox News has learned — and the controversy could imperil her shot at a major career promotion.

Sources on Capitol Hill and in the intelligence community say Alissa Starzak, a majority staffer on the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence (SSCI) who has been nominated for the position of general counsel to the U.S. Army, is one of two SSCI employees accused by the panel’s Republicans, and by career intelligence officers, of having “stolen” the so-called Panetta Review: a classified study of the agency’s treatment of detainees prepared by former CIA Director Leon Panetta.

Starzak is a former assistant general counsel for CIA and, more recently, a deputy general counsel at the Defense Department for legislative affairs. She was nominated for the Army’s general counsel position in July of this year. With an eye on the clock, as the Senate prepares to revert to Republican control early next year, the Armed Services Committee approved Starzak’s nomination — without a recorded vote — on Dec. 9. But the nomination expired a week later, and must now be re-submitted to the committee, with Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., as its likely chairman, in the next session of Congress.

Rossiter explains with great clarity why the kind of liberalism displayed by Barack Obama during his presidency can only be understood as a psychological disorder.

Rossiter says the liberal agenda preys on weakness and feelings of inferiority in the population by:

•creating and reinforcing perceptions of victimization;
•satisfying infantile claims to entitlement, indulgence and compensation;
•augmenting primitive feelings of envy;
•rejecting the sovereignty of the individual, subordinating him to the will of the government.

"The roots of liberalism – and its associated madness – can be clearly identified by understanding how children develop from infancy to adulthood and how distorted development produces the irrational beliefs of the liberal mind," he says. "When the modern liberal mind whines about imaginary victims, rages against imaginary villains and seeks above all else to run the lives of persons competent to run their own lives, the neurosis of the liberal mind becomes painfully obvious."

This is the problem my friends. Liberals don't use logic, reason or common sense. All their action are based on either wishful thinking or the fantasy world of Utopia that has never and will never exist ! Which brings me to the point that this must not be a mental problem but a plan to destroy the USA. Communism is a liberal concept. Pushed by liberals and progressives from long ago. But these same liberals and progressive axioms have been proven wrong so many times I've stopped counting them in history. Any way you cut liberalism or communism, IT DON'T WORK when you add human nature to the mix. Plus those liberal communists have had a bad habit of eating their own people. The more liberal or communist the country is ? The more it kills it's own people. THAT IS A FACT MY FRIENDS !

So how do will deal with a concept that wont die a natural death by being proven WRONG ! How did we have to kill slavery in this country ? People slavery still exists in the world. True slavery is still alive and well in the world just like Liberalism and communism. We got rid of slavery in it's natural form for slavery to the all mighty central government in DC that can tax you to death !

WOW!!!!!!! I am shocked to learn of Walmarts support of suck a criminal as Al Sharpton. It is a fact he owes millions in taxes. He also invokes riots,violence,and racism. Walmarts support of him means they agree with his venom. Since learning of this support,I swear i will never ever go to a Walmart store again as long as I live. I suggest every true AMERICAN should do the same. I definitely do NOT want one penny of my money to go to such a rotten low-down individual as him or anyone who thinks like him. As far as I am concerned way too much of our money ends up going to them already. He is nothing other than a con artist who preys on the un-educated and ignorant people. Division of the races is what he lives on. Obama is no better! Sharpton is one of his advisors. He invites him to the WH often. What does that tell you if you have any common sense at all? Do you have children attending the public schools today? Are they being taught a daily program or reading, writing and mathematics? How about U.S. history? Or maybe more like a liberal distortion of our history that has been changed for the sake of political correctness. Yes, unfortunately, there is more going on than just teaching academics.

I have raised four children in the public schools. Ten years ago I removed my last child from the public schools. I did so because at that time the politically correct public schools were under going a complete purging of the values and teachings that were and important part of a child's education.

In these ten years since I removed my child from public schools I had worked as a non teaching staff member at a elementary school. I was in a very good position to see what was going on in the schools from the inside.

What I witnessed those ten years sickened me! I also learned very fast that there was a policy in place to completely silence free speech among staff members concerning anything but leftist political thought and opinions. I was shocked by how all teachers and staff were under such strict scrutiny of free thought and expression. I suppose this atmosphere was ok for most of the teaching staff.

I knew all of them quite well and they were all liberal educator types that leaned very far left. They were really a tight knit group of liberals. The ten years I worked at the elementary school the changes I witnessed were, the teaching of sex education starting in grade 3, a total ban on a moment of silence or prayer mornings, banning the pledge of allegiance, promotion of Homosexuality, programing children with leftist political propaganda from the Democratic party, Banning Christmas trees and Christmas Carrols and programs celebrating Christmas. Also continual demeaning of the 2nd amendment to the Constitution, Censoring of many children's books in the library allowing only leftist propaganda, censoring of opposing views on the internet, and a basic censorship of freedom of speech by the students concerning "any" conservative value....Oh! And let's not forget the school ordered drugging and dumbing down of about 30% of the students!

I can say now that sending your children to any public school is like sending the lambs to a den of wolves! Our children are being programed with the agenda of the radicle left. Now more than ever the evil forces are poisoning out little lambs. Your child will be programmed and brane washed to be a atheist left wing communist by the time they graduate from high school. They have also been taught core values for perversion and an unclean life style. This is a fact and not an opinion.

If you have children in the public schools today I urge you to try to find an alternative way to educate your children. Home school, christian schools or any privet school if you can afford one. Don't allow the forces of evel to corrupt your child!

I will never watch anything that comes out NBCUniversal. Who ever watches these programs is funding Al Sharpton and we can't forget Walmart. I spend a minimum of $5,000.00 a year at Walmart and I choose to get a little less at a local Grocery Store and will not go to Walmart if it's the last Store on Earth. It makes me feel we are all Accessories to Al Sharpton's Criminal Acts. Now we know why Sharpton is doing the back stroke, he's more worried about his paycheck. He's trying to make everyone think he's sorry MY ASS.

CANADA: Muslim man arrested for making terrorist threats against Montreal police

Jeffrey Mohammed Labelle, a 21-year-old Muslim convert, has been arraigned on terrorism-related charges after threatening to attack four police Montreal police precincts.

SUN News He had been arrested on Friday after the discovery of handwritten notes specifying which precincts would be attacked. The threat came just two days after two police officers in New York City were murdered in their squad car by a gunman. Those deaths have given a greater sense of urgency to ensuring police here in Canada stay safe, according to Yves Francoeur, head of the Montreal police union.

According to Labelle’s grandmother, he was not dangerous. “He wasn’t that kind of boy,” Sylvie Labelle told TVA. “When he converted, he found inner peace.” The grandmother did note that Labelle carried a machete, but said she believed it was to protect his mother from a violent person. Federal and state government entities in Sydney have been named as potential terror targets in documents seized during an AFP investigation which saw two Muslims arrested, one known for his support of ISIS.

ABC Federal police claimed they seized documents from the home of Sulayman Khalid (also known as Abu Bakr) during raids last week that detailed potential government terror targets. Sulayman Khalid, 20, from Regent’s Park was charged with possession of documents designed to facilitate a terrorist attack, while a 21-year-old man from Marsfield was charged with breaching a control order.

Khalid attracted media attention when he stormed off the set of SBS’s Insight program earlier this year during a forum on Australians being drawn into foreign wars in Iraq and Syria.

Prime Minister Tony Abbott on Tuesday warned of a heightened level of “terrorist chatter” in the aftermath of the Martin Place siege and reminded Australians that the national terrorism alert level remained on “high”, which means an attack is “likely”.

But the deputy chairman of Parliament’s Joint Committee on Intelligence and Security, Anthony Byrne, said the terror alert level should be raised. “On the basis of recent events both here in Australia and overseas, and provided information that the Prime Minister spoke about was sound and accurate, there is a strong case to raise the terror threat to extreme as quickly as possible,” he told Fairfax media.

It has been discovered that Fethullah Gülen, the leader of the Gülen Movement who claims to base his movement on dialogue and tolerance amongst different religions, has previously made radical remarks encouraging Muslims to destroy “infidels.”
Gülen’s call for taking violent action against non-Muslims can be traced to the voice recording of a sermon which he preached in the 1980s following the 1980 coup d’etat, when he left the city of İzmir and traveled to different cities in Anatolia.
Allegedly preaching about the significance of Jerusalem for Muslims, Gülen can be heard crying and criticizing himself and all Muslims for failing to protect the holy city of Jerusalem and Masjid al-Aqsa Mosque.
“A believer should be like a bomb even if the United States of America opposes him/her! He/she should continue by exploding and smashing the head of the infidel!” Gülen screamed, accompanied by a mixture of lamenting and screaming from the audience. He encouraged the screams by saying that the voice of believers should move heaven and earth, and told them to roar.

Gulen runs hundreds of controversial charter schools in the U.S., importing Turkish Muslims to staff the Islamic operations. The government of Turkey just requested Gulen’s extradition from the U.S. for founding and managing a terror organization in Turkey. That may explain the sudden discovery of this video…released by a Turkish paper.

Either way, Gulen does not belong in the U.S. nor do his schools. This is a win-win…which means Obama will screw it up.

On Monday morning, police arrested a man who was in the process of destroying Christmas decorations in the city center of Le Mans.
He then tried to take the weapon of the police and even shouted “Allah Akbar”, the famous formula attributed to the Joue-les-Tours and Dijon attackers. “Allah Akbar” is “God is great” in Arabic.
The individual was immediately placed in custody. His mental state, quickly found wanting, required his placement in the specialized hospital Allonnes….

French authorities have described all the recent jihad attacks there by Muslims screaming “Allahu akbar” as manifestations of mental illness. So why are they deploying troops? How can soldiers fight mental illness? Shouldn’t they be deploying psychologists?

Yesterday it was reported that 300 troops had been deployed. “1,000 Soldiers Deployed on French Streets to Combat Christmas Terror Attacks,” by Oliver Lane, Breitbart, December 24, 2014:

More than 1,000 soldiers have been deployed on the streets of France for Christmas after a spate of suspected festive-season terrorist attacks across the nation have left many French citizens critical of the government’s denialism, and fearful of increasing violence.
The move stands in contrast to the official line of the French government that the attacks, in which the assailants were reported in all cases to have shouted the Arabic salutation “Allahu Akbar” as they commenced their rampages, had nothing to do with terrorism, and were completely unrelated. The government has come under fire from opposition parties for its denial of a terrorism link, with French social media users reportedly cheering on the straight-talking rejection by the Front National (FN).
The Times reports the comments of FN deputy leader Florian Philippot which have apparently got social media users excited: “This is obviously terrorism… I wish they would stop playing politics and ideology, telling us that there are systematically isolated acts by disturbed people”. France has the largest Muslim population of any Western European nation, and the FN believes the government is reluctant to say anything that could antagonise the millions of Muslims settled in the country.
Many of the large, suburban communities are known for their exceptional violence during the new year celebrations, indulging in mass car-burnings and rioting are predominantly Muslim. The French government euphemistically designates these areas “Sensitive Urban Zones” and earmarks them for special policing and spending programmes, but to ordinary Frenchmen they are better known as “no-go zones”, where emergency services dare not tread.
After the attacks of the past few days, which included a French-Burundian Muslim convert entering a police-station with a knife and attacking officers, and two ram-raid attacks with cars against street crowds, the French Prime Minister Manuel Valls addressed the nation on live television. He said: “The number of patrols will be increased during this [Christmas] period. 200 to 300 extra soldiers will be deployed in the coming hours”. These extra troops, who patrol the streets with fully-automatic assault rifles, will augment 780 already on patrol….

German Christians in massive numbers are rising up to protest the Islamization of Germany. The media is reporting at least 17,500 came out in this protest but others say it was closer to 25,000.

According to this report the movement started in October and had just hundreds of people at the time. So apparently it’s grown to incredible numbers in just a couple of months. And of course, their opponents are calling them Nazis:

“More than 17,000 protesters rallied Monday in Dresden against the “Islamization of the West,” the tenth such demonstration in as many weeks. The far-right movement is becoming a problem for politicians.

German society and the political establishment have for weeks grappled with the emergence of the “Patriotic Europeans Against the Islamization of the West,” or PEGIDA, whose ranks in the city of Dresden have quickly grown from just a few hundred in October.”

Washington Times (h/t bonampak) “These are not stupid people,” he said in an interview with CNN. “One of the people we met had just finished his law degree. He had great job offers, but he turned them down to go and fight.

At one point, Mr. Todenhoefer said he met with a child fighter outfitted in Islamic State gear and waving an AK-47 who claimed to be 13, though looked much younger, he said, CNN reported. At another point, he interviewed a German member who spoke on behalf of his Islamic State leadership.

Jeffrey Mohammed Labelle, a 21-year-old Muslim convert, has been arraigned on terrorism-related charges after threatening to attack four police Montreal police precincts.

Federal and state government entities in Sydney have been named as potential terror targets in documents seized during an AFP investigation which saw two Muslims arrested, one known for his support of ISIS.

Khalid attracted media attention when he stormed off the set of SBS’s Insight program earlier this year during a forum on Australians being drawn into foreign wars in Iraq and Syria.

Prime Minister Tony Abbott on Tuesday warned of a heightened level of “terrorist chatter” in the aftermath of the Martin Place siege and reminded Australians that the national terrorism alert level remained on “high”, which means an attack is “likely”.
