“How much more do they deserve our reverence and praise, whose lives are devoted to the formation of institutions, which, when they and their children are mingled in the common dust, may continue to cherish the principles and the practice of liberty in perpetual freshness and vigor.” –Joseph Story, Commentaries on the Constitution, 1833

Reid Backs GOP Spending Plan

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) indicated he would support Republicans' budget plan to curtail Barack Obama’s executive action on immigration. But this isn’t exactly good news. Republicans plan on funding most of the federal budget through September 2015, while giving the Department of Homeland Security enough dough to keep it running only until March, when the Republican-controlled Congress could better attack Obama’s power grab. Rep. Steve Womack (R-AK) told The Wall Street Journal, “We’ve just been handed an opportunity to demonstrate our capacity to lead and to govern. I don’t think it would be wise on our part … to get locked down in some kind of a confrontation.” While Red State’s Erick Erickson argues the Republican Party is caving to the will of the president, it’s likely Republicans know they can make only limited progress in this lame-duck session. More…

Don’t Worry, Obama Was Just ‘Speaking Colloquially’

A reporter asked White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest about Barack Obama’s admissionthat he changed immigration law when he took executive action. Earnest first said it was just part of Obama’s down-to-earth rhetoric: “I think he was speaking colloquially, that what he has put in place, uh, meaning that obviously, well, no, meaning that it’s the responsibility of the United States Congress to pass laws. And it’s the responsibility of the executive branch to implement and enforce them. So I guess my point is…” The reporter pressed, asking the question again, and Earnest stumbled some more. “Well, I think the impact of the law certainly has been changed in terms of the way it affects millions of people who are in this country,” he continued. “And I think that’s what the president was alluding to.” When challenged about the legality of Obama’s actions, the White House is left stammering into a microphone.

Obama to Pick Carter to Mind the DoD Store

Yesterday, we noted Barack Obama’s difficulties in choosing a new secretary of defense toreplace Chuck Hagel. Well, it now seems the likely nominee is former Deputy Secretary of Defense Ashton Carter. Though Carter is considered to be an aggressive and independent thinker, and he said, “I do not think they are looking for someone more aggressive and independent,” he may have been the last person standing. But he’s a technocrat who The Wall Street Journal speculates won’t “do much more than mind the store while the White House conducts its meandering foreign policy.” As even The Washington Post observes, “Obama has had a difficult relationship with the military and his defense secretaries, who have often questioned his passion and commitment to the military’s mission.” Indeed, Obama’s only mission is knocking the U.S. down a few pegs, in part by stubbornly “ending” the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq without a sound strategic plan. That allowed ISIL to rise flourish, leaving Carter with quite the mess to clean up – if he’s allowed to.

Kathleen Sebelius Also Thinks American Voters Are Stupid

Former HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius is yet another member of the leftist elite who has supposedly never heard of MIT Professor Jonathan Gruber – one of the architects of the “Affordable” Care Act. However, while she tries to sever the connection Gruber had with ObamaCare, she sure does talk like him, saying Americans are too ignorant to understand the concept of insurance. “A lot of Americans have no idea what insurance is about,” Sebelius told USA Today. “I think the financial literacy of a lot of people, particularly people who did not have insurance coverage or whose employers chose their coverage and kind of present it to them, is very low – and that has been a sort of stunning revelation. It’s not because people hid it from folks. It’s because this is a complicated product.” Insurance? What’s that? Gee, we suppose the government should tell us all what to do because we’re too stupid to protect our own futures. Mark this comment down as a Gruberism. More…

$18 Trillion and Counting

As millions of Americans were racking up credit card debt on Black Friday, the federal government published its own revised debt figures. The balance sheet reveals that the U.S. has officially accrued more than $18 trillion in debt, or 103% of GDP. The feds spent nearly as much money in one day as Americans doled out during the post-Thanksgiving spending spree. Zero Hedge reporter Tyler Durden says, “[D]ebt held by the public rose to $12,922,681,725,432.94, an increase of $32 billion in one day.” Contrast that with a report from Bloomberg showing four-dayconsumer spending was just over $50 billion. We saw a lot of things Friday, but “black” wasn’t one of them – more like deep red. Barack Obama, who once called George W. Bush’s deficits “unpatriotic,” is making his predecessor’s spending habits look downright thrifty. According to Durden, America’s “debt has increased by 70% under Obama, from $10.625 trillion on January 21, 2009 to $18.005 trillion most recently.” That’s change you can believe in. More…

Using Ferguson to Further a Race-Baiting Agenda

2014-12-03-919eee9a.jpgNo racial profiling here

On Monday, Barack Obama spoke to a groupof the usual suspects about how Ferguson is an example of the many communities across the country where young people of color feel cheated. In a nation governed by the basic principle of equality under the law, Obama complained too many feel they aren’t treated fairly. The president argued that when any part of the American community feels this way, it’s a problem for us all.

Obama said his conversations with young people moved him because they feel no one believes the reality of their miserable lives. Surprisingly, he also spoke fairly about police and the difficulties and dangers of the job: “[I]f they’re in dangerous circumstances, we have to be able to put ourselves in their shoes and recognize that they do have a tough job.”

So he’s got a plan. His first initiative is the creation of the 21st Century Policing Task Force (TCPTF), which will involve local law enforcement, community activists and other “stakeholders” to provide input. The TCPTF will report back to Obama within 90 days with concrete recommendations. Obama guarantees that, unlike most task forces, this one would not be a waste of time.

Next he wants to ensure that “we’re not building a militarized culture inside our local law enforcement.” The heavy hardware Ferguson police used during the rioting did indeed cause concern across the political spectrum. Yet Obama plans no pause or reduction in the program of giving local and state police unnecessary military supplies and hardware. He just wants $75 million to subsidize 50,000 body cameras.

Third, the TCPTF will focus on – wait for it – racial profiling. Obama’s coming executive order will require federal agencies to stop racial profiling. Fortunately, our federal system saves us from his foisting it on the states. Racial profiling can cause problems, but it doesn’t appear that was the case with Officer Darren Wilson and Michael Brown.

Noteworthy, of course, is that white cops kill an average of 96 blacks every year – prompting a major White House initiative to address it. Yet blacks killed 6,000 other blacks last year, as well as 409 whites with nary a peep from the president. How’s that for racial profiling?

Meanwhile, Obama thanked his outgoing Attorney General Eric Holder for doing “excellent work” in Ferguson. And Holder kicked off a series of “honest conversations” with a speech at Atlanta’s Ebenezer Baptist Church – the one pastored by Martin Luther King Jr. Another conversation about race. Whoopee.

Where Obama soft-pedaled, Holder let loose. “What we saw [in Ferguson] was a genuine expression of concern and involvement,” Holder said. “And it is through that level of involvement … and I hope a level of perseverance … that change ultimately will come.” He continued, “[Ferguson] presents this nation with … a unique opportunity, and I think it’s incumbent on all of us to seize this opportunity to deal with issues that for too long have been ignored.”

To that end, Holder will pursue two civil rights investigations, one aimed at Officer Darren Wilson and one at the Ferguson Police Department. So the Left’s racist merry-go-round that began in the 1960s just keeps spinning.

Holder called the protests in Ferguson “a genuine expression of concern and involvement,” meaning it was a righteous display. The rest of America saw a bunch of savages rioting, looting, setting fires and destroying businesses.

Indeed, non-aggrieved people are fed up. In the 1970s movie “Network,” the lead characteradvised people should yell, “I’m mad as hell, and I’m not gonna take it anymore!” On talk radio, on the Internet, in the social media, in the supermarket, people are figuratively yelling just that.

And non-minorities aren’t the only ones fed up. Black Milwaukee Sheriff David Clarke blasted Holder for his interference in Ferguson. Clarke said he “listened to Eric Holder throw law enforcement officers under the bus for political expediency,” and he compared Al Sharpton and his ilk to “vultures [feeding] on a roadside carcass.”

Granted, Michael Brown didn’t grow up in a good family – he was raised mostly by his grandmother. And it’s terribly sad that every year black babies are born into Brown’s kind of life (if they’re born at all). But the finger of blame rests on the heads of those like Obama, Holder and all the others who continue enflaming race for personal gain. Enough already!

Oil Price Plunge Benefits U.S. at Home and Abroad

2014-12-03-b29422b6.jpg

The UK Telegraph describes the result of America’s increased oil production as “one of the most extraordinary turnarounds in modern economic history.” The Washington Postdeclares its effect on the world to be the “most important economic story of 2014.” And you can see this story played out at the gas pump in your hometown.

Gone are the days when gas was four or five dollars per gallon. According to the American Automobile Association, the average price for a gallon of regular gas on Dec. 2 is $2.76. Here in East Tennessee, the price of gas is expected to drop below $2 a gallon, just like in Alabama, Louisiana, Oklahoma Mississippi, Missouri, South Carolina and Texas.

Thanks to fracking and a boom in the oil production from shale deposits, the price of a barrel of crude oil is $66.88. Increased oil production in the United States hobbles hostile countries abroad while giving the wallets of the middle and lower class a boost. Did we also mention it’s good for education? Educating liberals in the effects of free markets, that is.

For years, America was tied to foreign oil, OPEC controlled the lion’s share of oil, and no matter what the feds tried, none of their schemes could break the dependence of foreign fuels. In 2005, a record 60.3% of the petroleum products consumed in America came from outside the states. The demand for oil – felt by price spikes at the pump – led to new technology for harvesting oil and that led to a boom in American oil extraction.

Today, if Texas were counted as a separate country, it would be the seventh largest oil producer in the world. According to Mark Perry, an economic scholar at the American Enterprise Institute, Texas produced 3.17 million barrels of oil per day in July. During the same time, Iran produced 3.23 million barrels – the sixth largest oil producer. But let’s not forget the American contributions of offshore drilling, the Alaskan oil fields and North Dakota.

This was a result of pure American entrepreneurship, the free markets acting on their own. Obama never created an energy policy guiding the energy now pouring out of the shale deposits around the nation. The EPA? It was too busy chasing coal companies and rubbing shoulders with environmentalists that break out in hives when they catch a whiff of industry.

As Perry writes:

“It happened not as a result of government mandates, regulatory pressure or taxpayer subsidies. Rather, it came about primarily due to innovation, entrepreneurial problem-solving and the marketplace, with some early government assistance in developing the technology for fracking and horizontal drilling.

"Lo and behold, the shale revolution is not only driving economic growth and putting millions of Americans to work but also providing elegant and efficient solutions to problems like foreign-oil dependence that policymakers couldn’t solve.”

The result is a price cut that can be felt by anyone with an automobile. Americans can spend more money on clothes and food instead of sinking green into the gas tank. As The Washington Post reports, “Every day, American motorists are saving $630 million on gasoline compared with what they paid at June prices, and they would get a $230 billion windfall if prices were to stay this low for a year.” Obama probably read about this one in the paper. How much did he say ObamaCare was projected to save taxpayers again?

On the world stage, America’s oil production pulls this nation’s economy ahead while stalling countries hostile to America. Last week, OPEC decided it was not going to cut oil production in response to the plummeting cost of a barrel of oil.

That was a mistake, writes the Telegraph: “Opec has misjudged the threat. As late as last year, it was dismissing US shale as a flash in the pan. Abdalla El-Badri, the group’s secretary-general, still insists that half of all US shale output is vulnerable below $85.”

Currently, the world’s oil producers are in a game of chicken with their economies. If the price of oil drops too low, the competing countries will have to stop production because the cost would not be worth it. At the moment, their cost of producing oil is much higher than that of the United States.

The Telegraph again: “The fiscal break-even cost is $161 for Venezuela, $160 for Yemen, $132 for Algeria, $131 for Iran, $126 for Nigeria, and $125 for Bahrain, $111 for Iraq, and $105 for Russia, and even $98 for Saudi Arabia itself, according to Citigroup.”

And how far does the price of oil have to drop before it starts to hurt the U.S. shale fields? $50,according to CNBC.

This sets the U.S. in the strategic position to win in the economic struggle for oil domination against hostile nations. For example, Russia is now facing serious economic challenges, and as a result will possibly slow exploration for oil and gas in its Arctic seas. According to the Brookings Institute, the Great Bear estimated the global price of oil would be at $97 dollars as it set its 2014 budget. Once the price of oil slid below $80, however, it headed for economic trouble because oil accounts for 14.5% of Russia’s GDP. If oil prices remain low, how will Vladimir Putin fund his shadow war in Ukraine?

It’s a story the late economist Milton Freidman would love: A whole industry rises up under a regulation-happy government and sets the stage for economic security here and abroad. Our analysis? Drill, baby, drill.

OPINION IN BRIEF

Senator Daniel Webster (1782-1852): “The Constitution was made to guard the people against the dangers of good intentions.”

Columnist Walter E. Williams: “Whether a student is black, white, orange or polka-dot and whether he’s poor or rich, there are some minimum requirements that must be met in order for him to do well in school. Someone must make the student do his homework. Someone must see to it that he gets eight to nine hours of sleep. Someone has to fix him a wholesome breakfast and ensure that he gets to school on time and respects and obeys teachers. Here’s my question: Which one of those basic requirements can be accomplished through a presidential executive order, a congressional mandate or the edict of a mayor, a superintendent of schools or a teacher? If those basic requirements aren’t met, whatever else that is done in the name of education is for naught.”

Columnists Stephen Moore & Kathleen Hartnett-White: “[The EPA’s Clean Power Plan] would expand federal control over electric power on a scale comparable to Obamacare’s transformation of health care but with a disturbing difference. At least Congress passed the Affordable Care Act – albeit without a single Republican vote – to overhaul the nation’s health care system. By contrast, Congress has repeatedly rejected legislation to give the EPA the power to control carbon dioxide. Congress has rejected carbon taxes, the Kyoto Treaty, cap-and-trade schemes, and other regulatory measures that would harm jobs and the economy. Regardless of how one feels about global warming, this is hardly the way the Constitution intended for the really big decisions affecting our economy and livelihoods to be decided. Most amazing of all is that we have here is an extraordinarily expensive rule, but the EPA can’t tell us what it hopes to accomplish.”

To survive, we must...

On October 29, 1941, a year after one of the darkest hours of World War II for Great Britain, Prime Minister Winston Churchill addressed his alma mater Harrow School. Here emerged one of the most famous quotes (which oft has been misquoted): "Never give in. Never give in. Never, never, never, never-in nothing, great or small, large or petty-never give in, except to convictions of honor and good sense. Never yield to force. Never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy." This quote will hopefully embolden you, encourage you, strengthen you as it did to Brits and their allies as they fought one of the gravest evils to darken the steps of mankind. We have a similar fight ahead.

This nation suffers a character crisis. The preaching of an extra-biblical, emotional, and self-indulgent gospel from the pulpit, and parenting children without morality and character has allowed this nation over the years to fall into a morass. We step up to do what we can; what we think is the best, but little changes. Even to the point of the last election--throwing out some of the trouble. Now we have a majority of people who claim they will turn things around. But, unfortunately, there are many of them who have been brought up in the same manner that is a reflection of what is not right about our country. So accountability must be held by each of us--we must never, never, never give in.

I visited the Senate to sit in on a hearing about sports and domestic violence. What little confidence I had in our elected leaders was even less after the hearing. These senators were ill-prepared and lacked understanding of not only the issue, but business and employment in general. While they were short on understanding, they were long on grandstanding. This was not a partisan characteristic. Senators from both sides were demanding that corporations pay for government programs to end domestic violence--programs with no proven track record. It seemed to me that domestic violence, which is a complex issue, was being boiled down to a very simple issue--shameless shakedown and wealth redistribution.

After promising to fight illegal alien amnesty, Speaker of the House John Boehner wants to put only "symbolic" language disagreeing with the "president" into legislation. My several emails to "The Speaker" on this very subject resulted in an email asking me to follow him on social media, and another thanking me for my continued support. Congress is ignoring its Constitutional duties. For America to survive, which means for you to survive, we must instill accountability in our elected officials. We must not give in. Psalm 94:16-17 says, "Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity? Unless the Lord had been my help, my soul had almost dwelt in silence." Let us be silent no more. Let us be louder than those who usurp the will of the people and are drunk on their own power.

"Americas must realize that self-scrutiny is not treason. Self-examination is not disloyalty."

http://www.newsofinterest.tv/neocon_globalist/obama/neocon_globalist_obama.php

Fellow Americans, our Government and corporate American it’s  blind by greed and their pursuit of economic control through the exploitation of the world working class; that is why they are not able to see the fuel that ignite unrest in the United States. The real issue is poverty, oppression and the concentration of wealth created by the NEOCON globalist agenda at the expenses of the average American working class.

The demise of the US economic and the slavery of the American working class begin with Ronald Reagan, Reagan was the main promoter of NAFTA and followed by the presidents elected by the US corporate money that used the US propaganda machinery “The US News Media” to promote and elect their Washington puppets. Most Americans know that Washington is controlled by corporate American; Corporate American are the ones that pushed for NAFTA and all the free trade agreements that destroyed Americans jobs, made the American economic slave class and demise the American middleclass.

In the 2008 Presidential Campaign, NAFTA was attacked from all sides, during the 2008 Presidential campaign. Barack Obama blamed it for growing unemployment. He said it helped businesses at the expense of workers in the U.S. It also did not provide enough protection against exploitation of workers and the environment along the border in Mexico. Hillary Clinton included the trade agreement in her pledge to strictly enforce all existing trade agreements, as well as halt any new ones. Both candidates promised to either amend or back out of the agreement all together. However, Obama hasn't done anything about these campaigns promises since becoming President. Why? The answer is simple Obama is corporate American puppet. In 2008, Republican candidate Ron Paul said he would abolish the trade agreement. He said it was responsible for a Superhighway and compared it to the European Union. He was right, the EU destroy many of their members increased poverty and demise their economic, However the US propaganda machinery killed Ron Paul opportunity to become the US president, Ron Paul has maintained this position in his 2012 campaign but no one support him, because the American propaganda machinery worked to discredit the only candidate that have the solution to get our country on the right path. Ron Paul will not sell out that is why they have to destroy him and they used the News Media. They transformed the news media into their propaganda machinery to place in office their choose candidate, their puppets that they control, because they are the owners of this US propaganda machinery that is used to brainwash the American people.

Today, protests and civil unrest is Treated as Terrorism in America, What we’re seeing in Ferguson, is not a local issue, this is something that’s been driven by national policies, by policies that Congress has approved of and has oversight of, and must end. The militarization of the police force; and the idea to take domestic police officers and train them like soldiers and give them military gear and dress them up like soldiers and tell them they’re fighting a war on crime or war on terrorism; that is why the police see themselves as soldiers. That’s the mindset of police officers that responded to protests—not just in Ferguson, but also on many others cities with activist and protesters; on the crackdowns at the political conventions. Police brutality has become the default response to protest in the U.S., and it’s something that, demise the very idea of free speech and the First Amendment. We are not the enemy the enemy is corporate American and the whores that become the puppets of corporate American, the Washington corrupt politicians.

The real issues are rampant police abuse and brutality. The FBI treated the peaceful protesters – who were protesting too big to fail banks, and who were predominately white - as terrorists.

Highly-militarized, federally-coordinated police used such brutal violence to break up the protests.

Violence was also been unleashed against peaceful protesters outside of Republican and Democratic conventions. Reporter Amy Goodman was arrested at the Republican convention for documenting violence against protestors.

Peaceful protest is considered terrorism in modern America. Honest Journalists are considered terrorists in modern America; whistleblowers are being prosecuting as traitors for telling the truth to the American people. So the question is who is the enemy we the people or the corrupt corporate American and their Washington puppets?.

Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke (D) said that new anti-racial profiling guidelines announced by Attorney General Eric Holder “aren’t going to mean anything to me” on Tuesday’s “Your World with Neil Cavuto” on the Fox News Channel.

“Those guidelines aren’t going to mean anything to me. He’s not in a position to tell local law enforcement anything about training or standards. That’s nothing more than a scurrilous charge. I’m not going to let him get away with it. I’m going to continue to push back on behalf of the men and women all across this country who go out and risk their lives in service to the community” he stated.

120114_hn_immigration_640It’s unconstitutional.

It’s reckless.

It’s lawless.

All these things have been said about President Obama’s executive action on immigration—a breathtaking order that not only changes laws passed by Congress, but will likely send millions of mostly low-skill workers flooding into a workplace that is already struggling to raise wages and find room for all those needing jobs.

Immigration is a remarkably complex subject, and not just as a matter of policy. Our nation’s immigration laws can be difficult to understand. Our Constitution, however, isn’t complicated. Our system of government is simple.
Congress writes the law, the president executes the law, and the judiciary interprets the law. The president does not make new law.

That concept is called the “separation of powers,” and it’s of core importance to our democracy. As a bulwark against tyranny, our Founders determined that no single branch of government could perform all the functions of government—making, enforcing, and interpreting the law. In other words, our Founders took the classic powers of a king and divided them between the legislative, executive, and judicial branches.

Senator Jeff Sessions (R., Ala.) suggested that House Republicans are on the verge of breaking their campaign promise to fight President Obama’s administrative amnesty, judging by the legislative text currently being circulated.

Sessions said that the proposed language “fails to meet [the] test” established by Republican National Committee chairman Reince Priebus, who promised earlier this year that the GOP would do everything possible to thwart Obama’s executive orders.

“The executive amnesty language is substantially weaker than the language the House adopted this summer, and does not reject the central tenets of the President’s plan: work permits, Social Security and Medicare to 5 million illegal immigrants — reducing wages, jobs and benefits for Americans,” Sessions said in the statement expressing his dissatisfaction with the results of a House Republican conference meeting today.

In the meeting, “the lawmakers began coalescing around a two-part plan that would allow a symbolic vote to show their frustration with President Obama’s executive action on immigration, before funding the government ahead of a Dec. 11 deadline,” according to the New York Times.

“Hands up, don’t shoot. It’s a rallying cry of people all across America who are fed up with police violence,” Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) said as he took the floor. “In community, after community, after community, fed up with police violence in Ferguson, in Brooklyn, in Cleveland, in Oakland, in cities and counties and rural communities all across America.”

Jeffries added that people are fed up with injustice, a broken criminal justice system and “continuing to see young, unarmed African-American men killed as a result of a gunshot fired by a law enforcement officer.”

Police are investigating Michael Brown’s stepfather for angry comments on the streets of Ferguson after a grand jury decided not to indict the police officer who fatally shot his stepson, a spokesman said Tuesday.

Officials are looking into Louis Head’s comments as part of a broader investigation into the arson, vandalism and looting that followed the Nov. 24 grand jury announcement, St. Louis County Police spokesman Brian Schellman said. Twelve commercial buildings were destroyed by fire.

Brown, 18, who was black and unarmed, was killed Aug. 9 by Darren Wilson, who is white. Wilson, who resigned from the Ferguson department last weekend, had told the grand jury his life was being threatened, but some witnesses said Brown was trying to surrender.

Video widely circulated after last week’s grand jury announcement shows Brown’s mother, Lesley McSpadden, on top of a car and breaking down as the decision blares over a stereo. Head, her husband, comforts her then yells angry comments, including “Burn this bitch down!”

Family attorney Benjamin Crump has called the reaction “raw emotion,” but “completely inappropriate.” He did not immediately return messages seeking comment Tuesday.

Eyewitness: Before St. Louis Hammer Attack, ‘Black People’ Ran Up And Down Street Yelling, ‘Kill The White People’

By Debra Heine.

A video provided to St. Louis blogger Bob McCarty of the crime scene at the South St. Louis Bevo Mill neighborhood where a group of black teenagers bludgeoned Bosnian immigrant Zemir Begic to death with hammers, strongly suggests the motive for the attack – retaliation for the Michael Brown shooting.

Ferguson – Full of Crap-Flinging Monkeys

By Craig Andresen – The National Patriot and Right Side Patriots on cprworldwidemedia.com

snark-1.jpg?width=243According to reports after Monday’s meeting of racists and race baiters at the Whitey House…

“Obama made a forceful pledge on Monday to use his last two years in office to address the “simmering distrust” between police and minority communities as he requested $263 million for the federal response to the civil rights upheaval triggered in Ferguson, Missouri.”

Well, FINALLY…a plan to throw taxpayer money at a completely fabricated issue. THAT’S just what we need and, dare I say, for a quarter of a billion dollars, no doubt borrowed from China, Obama should be able to take this from a “simmering distrust” to a FULL BOIL of seething hatred.

The local issue of Ferguson became the subject of a cabinet meeting on Monday and sitting in with the ilk of the regime were…Marc Morial, president of the National Urban League…Janet Murguía, president and CEO of the National Council of La (ILLEGAL aliens) Raza and…Al Sharpton – race baiter emeritus.

Yep…problem solved huh?

According to Sharpton…”WE ARE NOT LOOTERS…WE ARE LIBERATORS! WE ARE NOT BURNERS…WE ARE BUILDERS!!!”

China BANS all Muslim prayer meetings and Islamic religious practices in government buildings, schools, and business offices in Xinjiang

A delegate from the Xinjiang provincial delegation is seen before the start of their meeting with representatives from the National People's Congress in Beijing

The Chinese government has also imposed steep fines on the use of mobile phones and the Internet to disseminate Islamic messages that ‘undermine national unity’ in the volatile Uighur Muslim region of Xinjiang in western China. Excellent!

Times of India  Religious activities will now be restricted only to take place in registered venues like mosques. The new rules also disallow people from wearing or forcing others to wear clothes or logos associated with Muslim extremism.

According to the Karamay Daily, officials have instituted a ban on “five types of people,” namely those who wear Muslim headscarves, veils, burkas, clothes bearing the crescent moon and star symbol, and “youths with long beards.

The government’s orders will affect Muslim employees, many of whom are known to conduct at least two of the day’s five prayers in quite areas of office buildings during a work day, informed sources said. Many Muslims are also known to use mobile phones and computers to study or practice religion hymns, which are embedded in alarm clock and other software.

“An increasing number of problems involving religious affairs have emerged in Xinjiang,” Ma Mingcheng, deputy director of the Xinjiang People’s Congress and director of its legislative affairs committee, told the local media.

Chinese officials have earlier said that Xinjiang has seen a sharp growth in religious fundamentalism, which may be affecting young minds and turning some of them towards terrorism. The region, which borders Pakistan, is a hotbed of a violent separatist movement run by the East Turkmenistan Islamic Movement.

The new rules, which come into effect January 1, also prohibit people from distributing and viewing videos about jihad, or holy war, religious extremism and terrorism in or outside religious venues, and requires religious leaders to report such activities to the local authorities and police.

The region’s local parliament passed a law on Friday stipulating penalties of between 5,000 and 30,000 yuan ($4,884) for individuals who use the Internet, mobile phones or digital publishing to undermine national unity, social stability or incite ethnic hatred.

The last major case of violence took place Shache county near the Pakistan border on Friday when 15 people were killed. Four were killed in knife attacks by the ultras, and 11 “mobsters” were killed by the police.

Last March, knife-wielding militants from Xinjiang killed 31 people and injured 141 at the Kunming railway station in southwest Yunnan province.

GREAT NEWS! Kennesaw, Georgia City Council votes to DENY mosque permit in shopping center

The City Council denied a request by Muslim residents to use space in a retail shopping center as a prayer center by a 4-1 vote Monday night, with only Councilwoman Cris Eaton-Welsh voting in favor. The Obama Regime and Eric Holder now making plans to sue as they have done so many times before.

safe_image.phpMDJ Online  Doug Dillard, the attorney representing the applicant, Suffa Dawat Center at Kennesaw, said the council’s denial was a blatant attack on the applicant’s First Amendment rights to practice religion freely. Dillard said the applicant, Mufti Islam, will fight back, and he has plans to bring a lawsuit against the city.

“We think it’s discriminatory, and it violates equal terms,” Dillard said. “They had no reason to deny this.” (Yes, they did, they understand the threat that Muslims are in America)

Nayyer Islam, who represents the mosque, said they will continue to fight for their right to worship in the retail center. We’ll follow all the legal ways to continue to get the permit,” Islam said. (In other words, we’ll get Brother Obama to force our mosque on a community that doesn’t want it)

Strip Mall where Muslims want to impose themselves

Kennesaw Strip Mall where Muslims want to impose their filthy religion

Eaton-Welsh said the applicant did everything he could. “I’m saddened,” Eaton-Welsh said. “The amount of anger that has come out of this was not something I ever thought Kennesaw was all about.” (You should give them credit for being educated, not ignorant leftists like you)

The application asked for the use of a 2,200-square-foot suite in a shopping center off Jiles Road as a prayer hall for Muslims. The shopping center, called Kennesaw Commons, is at 2750 Jiles Road behind a Publix grocery store off Cobb Parkway.

A group of about 10 protestors gathered outside Kennesaw’s City Hall on Monday evening ahead of the vote waving American flags and signs saying “no mosque.” About 20 other residents gathered to attend the meeting.

GFDH_APPLICATION_DENIED_05Karen Untz, who traveled to Kennesaw from Cumming to protest the mosque, said she was pleased with the council’s decision. “(Muslims) are moving into all these small towns, and they’re camping out,” Untz said. “There’s no such thing as a temporary mosque. They claim the space and they teach Shariah law.”

Chad Legere of Mableton stood outside City Hall while the council discussed the issue waving signs in protest. He said he doesn’t want the United States to become the next Europe. “There’s a way to stop Shariah law from getting into our country, and that’s what we’re doing,” Legere said. Legere, who held a flag bearing the Star of David, said he thinks a mosque will bring radical Muslims to the community who will make the area unsafe.

34310441001_3918847696001_Still1201-00013

Another protestor, Lynn Conner of Kennesaw, said she protested the prayer center because she is scared of what Muslims stand for. “I wanted to exercise my First Amendment rights while I still can, and I wanted to protect the Christian community that I live in against infiltration by the enemy who has gone on record with the goal to destroy everything we stand for,” Conner said.

mosqueprotest-1

The brother of the applicant, Kashit Islam of Kennesaw, who said he is a Muslim, said the people against the mosque have a biased view of his religion(And rightly so). “They’re totally isolated here based on what the news shows them. They’re just basing their decision on what’s going on in Iraq and Syria.(No, they’ve seen the beheadings of Americans by Muslims in America as well as overseas) We’re not like that,” Islam said. (Oh Yes, you ARE)

REVEREND TO WHOM?

In the last few weeks there's been a lot in the news about the Reverend Jesse Jackson and the Reverend Al Sharpton. To whom are they reverend to? Do they ever pray in public? Do they ever carry a Bible or quote scripture in any of the speeches they make. If they ever even mention Jesus Christ, don't think they ever have. It's something wrong with this picture. If any person is going to put the word reverend in front of their name if should be back up by an acknowledgement of a greater being than themselves and even any desire that they as individuals care to bring to pass. A reverend should exalt Jesus Christ at all cost, even to the loss of their own life. For any person to put that word in front of their name and not live a life or allow his speech or actions to represent anything less than Jesus Christ is a reproach to any man and especially to our Savior. The closest thing that can be compared to an act like this is (a wolf in sheep's clothing. The greatest problem that we face in our country is a lack of being real. Can you see anyone like this.Be real or stand down.....

STOP KIDDING YOURSELVES

Stop kidding yourselves, ‘moderate Islam’ is nothing more than a Western elitist’s wet dream.

Muslims know there is no such thing as ‘moderate Islam.’ Many even believe that the concept of moderate Islam is an invention of British PM David Cameron (and other Western leaders) who struggle to find a way to fit the tyrannical, supremacist theology/political system that is Islam into the big tent of freedom and democracy, an ideal which doesn’t even exist in Islam.

DOJ to Offer ‘Guidance’ on Racial Profiling

Get ready for a “conversation on race” courtesy of the Obama administration. Attorney General Eric Holder, who once said Americans are “cowards” on racial issues, said Monday at Martin Luther King Jr.’s church in Atlanta: “In the coming days, I will announce updated Justice Department guidance regarding profiling by federal law enforcement. This will institute rigorous new standards – and robust safeguards – to help end racial profiling, once and for all. This new guidance will codify our commitment to the very highest standards of fair and effective policing.” Holder is absolutely not the authority on what’s “fair and effective,” much less what constitutes proper Rule of Law. Holder and his boss have inflamed the racial tension that boiled over in Ferguson, Missouri, focusing as always on the color of skin instead of content of character. Yet now they want to be seen as the voice of reason. No sale. More…

Rams Players Strike ‘Hands Up, Don’t Shoot’ Pose Before Sunday’s Game

The politics of Ferguson have bled over to the football field, with several NFL players showing “solidarity” with protesters/rioters before a game Sunday. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports, “Several Rams receivers created a stir during pregame introductions at the Edward Jones Dome by striking the ‘Hands Up, Don’t Shoot’ pose when they came out of the tunnel for Sunday’s game with the Oakland Raiders. The group consisted of Tavon Austin, Stedman Bailey, Kenny Britt, Jared Cook and Chris Givens. They hatched the idea before the game.” Somewhat ironically, Britt had his own run-ins with the law, most recently in June when he was still with the Tennessee Titans. Britt said, “We just wanted to let the [Ferguson] community know that we support them.” By using the gesture popularized by those destroying the community? The St. Louis Police Officers Association condemned the display, calling it “tasteless, offensive and inflammatory.” The football field is the place for one thing: football. Beyond that, these guys might want to note that it isn’t the hooligans burning down Ferguson who are paying their salaries.More…

Reid Cramming Before He Loses Senate Power

Like a college freshman just now realizing the end of term is nigh, Harry Reid has realized he has a few short weeks until he is no longer majority leader of the Senate. He’s warning senators he might not let them go home for Christmas, and they may have to work weekends – although Congress hasn’t worked Friday, Saturday or Sunday for quite some time. “We may have to be here a third week and everyone should understand that,” Reid warned Monday. “Our most important task at hand is to pass bills to fund our government, keep it from shutting down. We have a lot to do. And there isn’t much time to accomplish it. … We may have to be here the week before Christmas … and hopefully not into the Christmas holiday.” Reid, who has spent much of the last four years obstructing bills passed by the Republican-controlled House, only wants to use his last fleeting moments of power holding the purse strings of Congress to fund Obama’s agendas – something voters clearly rejected. And by the way, didn’t Senate Democrats pass ObamaCare on Christmas Eve 2009? More…

Thanks to ObamaCare, People Delay Health Care Over Cost

ObamaCare may have helped cause a slight decline in the uninsured in America (depending on how you count the statistics), but that doesn’t mean people are getting more health care. The Washington Times reports, “A third of Americans say they have put off getting medical treatment that they or their family members needed this year because of the cost. That’s in line with the roughly 30 percent figures seen in recent years, but still among the highest readings in the 14-year history of asking the question, according to a Gallup poll released Friday.” In other words, at best, ObamaCare hasn’t made health care more affordable – just the opposite, as a matter of fact, as insurance rates around the country skyrocket. And it’s not only the uninsured delaying care. According to the Times, “[T]he number of Americans with private health plans who put off medical treatment because of cost jumped from 25 percent last year to 34 percent this year.” But at least if you like your plan you can keep it, right? More…

Left’s Mockery Nothing Like Turkey Pardon Criticism

The presidential pardon of a turkey or two every Thanksgiving is just one of the silly events the Washington elite do every year – just like the softball games in summer and the cherry blossom princesses in the spring. So let’s not blame Barack Obama’s daughters Malia and Sasha Obama for being bored by the event. Elizabeth Lauten, the Communications Director for Rep. Stephen Fincher (R-TN), critiqued the two teens on Facebook, writing, “Dear Sasha and Malia, I get you’re both in those awful teen years, but you’re a part of the First Family, try showing a little class. At least respect the part you play.” It was a cheap shot, but the Leftmedia jumped down Lauten’s throat: How dare someone say such a thing to the children of the president. Lauten apologized and then resigned from her position. Yet her criticism was nothing compared to the mockery Slate spewed about Rick Santorum’s daughters, and let’s not forget how the Leftmedia cackled over the Palin family’s birthday party brawl or speculated over Trig Palin’s parentage. Double standard much?

EPA Announces Holiday Sale on Expensive Regulations

2014-12-02-c293d0f1.jpg

Just before the Thanksgiving holiday, the Obama administration announced it will seek tighter restrictions to curb industrial emissions to lower ozone pollution. It’s the first of many new rules the EPA will be rolling out in the next few months – all sure to do more harm to the economy than good for the environment.

Rules to reduce methane emissions are expected soon. Methane, a potent greenhouse gas said to trap heat 25 times more than carbon dioxide, is a byproduct of hydraulic fracturing, a.k.a. fracking – the technique often used to extract oil or natural gas from the earth. Environmentalists claim methane leaks have the potential to cancel out the benefits of natural gas production. Of course, years before the natural gas boom, these same environmentalists heralded natural gas as the solution to America’s energy problems. It’s cleaner than oil, it’s plentiful and it’s easy to reach. Now that we are actually harvesting more energy, however, the environmental lobby wants to shut it down. It’s a common pattern – constantly moving the goal post to make anything good for the economy seem bad for the environment.

Coal ash is another target for the EPA. The agency may not label this byproduct of burned coal in electricity generation a hazardous waste, but the new rules for how it is stored and handled will hit the embattled coal industry with significant new costs. It’s yet another salvo in Obama’s ongoing war to shut down coal production in America.

The EPA temporarily tabled its new fuel-blending requirements for the Renewable Fuel Standard. But the welcome news of this delay is more than offset by coming government restrictions on fracking on federal lands and offshore drilling in the Arctic.

Industry and private citizens are paying a hefty price for these regulations. The agency maintains we’ll save $67 billion on energy. But they arrive at this phony conclusion by using a complex model illustrating the supposed damage done to the environment by unchecked carbon emissions and tallying the costs to be incurred by cleaning it up. Yet if rabid environmentalists have taught us anything over the last several years, it’s not to trust their predictions. Whether they’re wrong because of faulty analysis or outright lying, the end result is the same.

Energy Ventures Analysis, a private industry consultancy, estimates the EPA carbon rules will add $284 billion in energy costs over the next five years. Between 2012 and 2020, the average annual household gas bill will increase by $680, while electricity bills could increase by $340. The industrial sector could see a 92% hike in electricity and natural gas bills by 2020, costs that will assuredly be passed on to consumers in higher prices for goods and services.

The Supreme Court recently agreed to take on the question of whether the EPA should have considered costs in determining the regulation of hazardous air pollutants. The question is central to three separate suits against the EPA that the Court consolidated into one. There’s no reason to believe, however, that this case will curb the EPA’s overreach into the economic sector. The Supreme Court has a sad history of validating the agency’s broad use of power. In 2007, the Court ruled that the EPA had the power to regulate gases it associates with “climate change.” This year, it affirmed the EPA’s plan to regulate greenhouse gases at large industrial plants.

There really is only one way to check the imperial overstretch of the so-called Environmental Protection Agency: Elect a president in 2016 who knows the real difference between creating environmental regulations that make sense and issuing edicts for the sake of attaining power.

Trouble Picking a New Secretary of Defense

2014-12-02-498868ce.jpg

It has been a week since the resignation/ouster of Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel, and yet there still appears to be no clear choice for Barack Obama as to who should next head the Pentagon. The reasons for this are many.

Rather than speculate on the next secretary, perhaps the question should be: Who wouldwant to be the next Pentagon chief? Certainly there is a pool of people from which Obama could choose, but those who should be considered for the position won’t be, and several potential candidates have already declined.

For example, Michèle Flournoy was seen by many policy pundits as the frontrunner for the job, as she served as undersecretary of defense from 2009 to 2012. She could have been the first female appointed to the position, but she declined. Rhode Island Sen. Jack Reed was also viewed as an option to succeed Hagel, but he plans to stay right where he is.

Another potential replacement is former Deputy Secretary of Defense Ashton Carter, an academic considered to be an expert on budgets and weapons in the Pentagon. However, there are two problems. First, Carter is an expert on budgets, of which Obama knows little beyondcutting the defense budget for America’s military while breaking the bank for everything else. Second, Carter is considered to be an aggressive and independent thinker, and, he admits, “I do not think they are looking for someone more aggressive and independent.”

So scratch him off the list too. Surely Obama would not want to appoint someone who can think independently and who would pursue an aggressive defense policy aimed at strengthening America’s military and developing a sound military strategy in the world.

Hot Air’s Ed Morrissey notes that Obama will likely pick a “technocrat without much political pull in Washington DC,” or perhaps put forward DHS Secretary Jeh Johnson. Morrissey asks, “Who else would want a job where all of the blame would fall on his or her shoulders for a set of policies over which he or she would have little influence?”

National Review’s John Fund likewise observes, “Too many people view it as a job not worth having in an atmosphere where the White House manages everything.” Fund explains that no one wants to contend with the likes of National Security Advisor Susan Rice, “who exercises an iron grip on key aspects of foreign policy,” or White House Senior Advisor Valerie Jarrett, “who seems to have both hands in every pie at the White House.”

Furthermore, who would want to tag team with Secretary of State John Kerry, who deems thatclimate change is our biggest national-security threat? Well, besides Hagel, who shared that view.

Anyone with any sense recognizes that Obama’s foreign policy is a failure and is devastating to our nation, and anyone who even attempts to voice dissent against the president is pushed away.

It would be refreshing for Obama to tap someone for the Pentagon post who understands the threat of the Islamic State and other terrorist networks around the world. It would be desirable if Obama would choose someone who understands the geopolitical threat Russia presents to the world. It would be wonderful if he would pick a person who would strengthen the U.S. military and put an end to the leftist social engineering that weakens troop morale and unit readiness. However, the prospect of such a choice is dim.

Based on the record this president and his administration have established over the last six years, during which time three people have held the Pentagon post, the likelihood of Obama picking the right person now is slim to none. Even if the right person were picked, would he or she want to serve for the next two years under this president and his policy failures? It’s unlikely, but we can hope – better yet pray – for change.

OPINION IN BRIEF

English author Auberon Herbert (1838-1906): “How should it happen that the individual should be without rights, but the combination of individuals should possess unlimited rights?”

Columnist Arnold Ahlert: “Early Sunday morning, 32-year-old Bosnian man Zemir Begic was killed in a hammer attack in the Bevo Mill neighborhood of St. Louis, MO. The murderous assault was perpetrated by three or four teens, described as ‘black and Hispanic.’ … And while [Begic] is clearly of the Caucasian persuasion, the media that have covered the story prefer to use the term ‘Bosnian’ to describe him. More than likely that is the case because the word ‘white’ would force them to consider the possibility that Begic was killed because of his race, or as a spillover reaction to the jury verdict and subsequent rioting in Ferguson. … Justice has a split personality these days. The racialist undertones that from the heart of the Ferguson protests have already been dismissed here. The same media that descended on Ferguson en masse, in all their fact-free, hysteria-inducing, narrative-perpetrating glory, will be nowhere to be found. The thugs who roamed the streets with hammers, ‘just for the fun of it,’ will never have a bounty placed on their heads, or be forced to go into hiding in fear of their lives. Attorney General Eric Holder will not descend upon the scene to determine the motives of those thugs, or conduct a follow-up investigation to see if Begic’s civil rights were violated. Al Sharpton and his traveling band of racial arsonists will make no grand gestures or statements about the black American thug culture that drives such attacks. Attacks whose percentages dwarf those of every other ethnic group. Attacks in which black-on-white murders far outnumber white-on-black murders. President Obama will not inject himself into the incident, nor will he hold three separate White House meetings to address the concerns of a Bosnian community living in fear. There will be no white equivalent of Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan urging his followers to ‘tear this godda– country apart!’ or telling the parents of white teenagers to ‘teach your baby how to throw the bottle if they can,’ in reference to Molotov cocktails. … Progressive bankruptcy is unsustainable and headed for the ash heap of history. One race-bating, riot-inciting demagogue after another.”

Getting to the heart of Ferguson

In recent weeks, I have seen no small number of readers unsubscribe from The Daily Jot when I write about Ferguson. It seems that many Christians just don't want to hear about it. They have their opinion and are not open to anything further. We can't solve our problems by ignoring them. The Lord puts challenges in front of us to mature us, and in the process, to glorify Him. Relationships between people of color and white folk are something we all can work on improving. A little love, understanding and consideration goes a long way. What does Proverbs 15:1 say? "A soft answer turns away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger." Let me share with you what a friend of mine is doing in Ferguson.

Aeneas Williams was recently inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. He played defensive back for the Arizona Cardinals and the St. Louis Rams. He is a strong advocate of building character in young men. He is founding pastor of Spirit of the Lord Family Church which meets at a high school in Ferguson. In the days after the Mike Brown shooting, Aeneas was in the streets listening and speaking the light of Christ. He said, "I spoke to people, I listened. I wanted to get the pulse. People just wanted to express themselves, they wanted to voice things. It was people on both sides, the community and those who are law enforcement. There was confusion, there was hurt. It was a scary time."

His church moved to Ferguson about a year ago. At the time, Aeneas wasn't sure why the Lord was putting him there. He says, "Looking back, looking at it now, I can understand and see the how and why of it all. But at the time, I didn't question it. I heard Apple founder Steve Jobs say at a commencement speech at Stanford a few years ago that 'You can't connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards.' I now know what that means." Today, Aeneas can be seen working with diverse folks to help rebuild the small businesses that were destroyed by rioters. He is an encourager, saying, "Its exciting to be here and to do anything we can do to help people get back to normalcy."

We often view things in terms of skin problems. But Ferguson and other issues that divide us as a people and as a nation are not skin problems. They are, as New Orleans Saints Tight End Benjamin Watson says, "Sin problems." Maybe we don't understand, so we get angry. Maybe our ethnic background or culture isn't the same as someone else's, so we criticize. Maybe a bad experience leads to a prejudice. But maybe we need to look at things in terms of race--that there are no races, we are all part of the human race created by God. As 1 Samuel 16:7 says, "for man looks on the outward appearance, but the LORD looks on the heart."

141201_ObamacareAbortion

Pro-life Americans long have criticized the Obama administration for failing to disclose coverage of abortion under the Affordable Care Act. Now, taking matters into their own hands, they’ve come up with a solution.

Two leading pro-life organizations, the Charlotte Lozier Institute and the Family Research Council, teamed up to design a state-by-state map that clearly tells Americans whether the Obamacare plan they’re considering covers elective abortions.

The goal? To help individuals and families find abortion-free health insurance options that don’t require them to pay what many pro-life critics of Obamacare call a “hidden” or “secret” abortion fee.
