(aim.org) - President nObama’s adamant refusal to link the barbaric atrocities committed by the Islamic State and affiliated al-Qaeda militias to Islam is an insult to the intelligence of all thinking Americans. His insistence that these atrocities are the result of “violent extremism,” not associated with Islam, lessens his already diminished credibility. The Quran and Islamic Law (Shariah) prove him wrong since there are 109 verses in the Quran that can be considered to sanction violence. Furthermore, chapter 2, verse 106 (on abrogation) makes it clear that the later violent verses take precedence over the earlier, less violent ones.
In February, President nObama hosted a White House Summit on countering “violent extremism.” As it turned out, it was essentially a public relations media event that had nothing substantive to offer in terms of countering the Islamic State’s barbaric acts of terrorism. Instead, it was more of a leftist, progressive agenda sympathetic to “Islamic sensibilities and grievances.” It cited lack of education and job opportunities as part of the root cause that enables IS to attract young Muslims. Mindboggling, particularly when Christians, women, and children are having their heads chopped off and are being buried alive.
If it were to have been a serious summit, you would have expected the Director of the FBI and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff to be full participants. However, they were not invited. Instead, the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) and its front organizations were full participants, including the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) and the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), both unindicted co-conspirators for funding terrorism from the 2008 Dallas, Texas Holy Land Foundation Trial. Another MB front organization, the Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC), was also represented.
The question must be asked: how can the nObama administration continue to embrace the Muslim Brotherhood when its declared creed, verified by the FBI, is to destroy the United States from within by our own “miserable hands,” and replace our Constitution with Islamic “Seventh Century” Shariah Law?
The MB today, with its deep penetration of all our national security and intelligence agencies, has now been institutionalized. With its carte blanche entry into the White House, it has, in effect, become a defacto cabinet member. All Americans should understand that there is no difference between the Islamic State, al-Qaeda, and the Muslim Brotherhood. Their objectives are all the same, it’s only the methods they use to achieve it that may be different. It is a totalitarian ideology bent on world domination (same as Communism), with Islam the dominant religion and Shariah the law.
The policies of the nObama administration in countering the Islamic jihadists of IS are clearly confusing to our allies. To understand President nObama’s strategy, everything this administration does must be viewed through the prism of his stated objective: to “fundamentally transform America.” This strategy is clear. It is anti-US and anti-Western—but pro-Islam, pro-Iran and pro-Muslim Brotherhood. With his Marxist background, it can be assumed that nObama does not view American power and influence as a force for good in the world. Otherwise, why would he want to fundamentally transform America? Therefore, anything that undercuts US military power and influence is viewed as being “objectively progressive.” President nObama’s refusal to provide legitimate defensive weapons to Ukraine falls under this category. The net result is the emasculation of NATO.
The “leading from behind” strategy announced at the start of the Libyan war, and the unilateral disarmament of our military forces, also fall under this category. A defining moment in the Libyan war was when the nObama administration switched sides in the global war on terror and provided weapons and material support to al-Qaeda and MB-controlled militias. Furthermore, as we now know, the Libyan war was unnecessary since Muammar Gadhafi was prepared to abdicate.The Middle East today is a disaster area with failed states in Libya, Iraq, Syria, and now Yemen. What’s astonishing is that we are now a de facto partner with the world’s leading state sponsor of terrorism, Iran. By so doing, we are enhancing the expansion of Iran’s hegemony throughout the Middle East at the expense of our long term allies—Egypt, Jordan, Israel and Saudi Arabia.
The nObama administration’s precipitous withdrawal from Iraq gave Iran a clear signal that we would not contest their influence over Iraq. It was a foolish, or worse, attempt to obtain a nuclear weapons agreement with the evil Ayatollah Khamenei regime. Today, Iran is already a nuclear threshold state that has sufficient enriched uranium to make 8 to 12 nuclear weapons within a few months. Furthermore, a reliable source has informed me that Iran secretly bought four nuclear weapons from the former Soviet Muslim Republic of Kazakhstan in 1992. They were said to have been transferred to Iran and stored in the Lavizan military site near Tehran.
More recently, it was reported by Jerome Corsi of WorldNetDaily, on 26 February, 2015, that Iran is operating another secret advanced, uranium underground enrichment site northeast of Tehran that was previously unknown to the International Atomic Energy Agency.
With thousands of American lives lost due to Iran’s more than 35 years of aggression against the United States, it is inconceivable that any American administration would agree to enter into such a critical agreement, like the one currently being negotiated with such an evil regime.
When you consider all of the above, as well as the nObama administration’s abuse of power and the many scandals including Benghazi, the IRS, Operation Fast and Furious, nObamacare, and the immigration fiasco, any other administration would be brought up on charges of threatening the security of the United States. America, it’s up to you to influence your representatives to hold President nObama accountable.

In February, the U.S. labor market did not lay the foundation for long-term economic growth. Sure, the banner numbers – the U-3 measure of unemployment and the number of jobs added – continued to indicate that the American economy is expanding. Here’s what the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported: “Total nonfarm payroll employment increased by 295,000 in February, and the unemployment rate edged down to 5.5 percent … Job gains occurred in food services and drinking places, professional and business services, construction, health care, and in transportation and warehousing.” The better measure of unemployment, the U-6, edged down to 11% and the civilian labor force participation rate changed little at 62.8%. But troubling is where most of the job gains occurred. Jobs in the food service and drinking industries don’t contribute to long-term growth – they are as permanent as a burger with a side of fries. The executive director for the Washington office of the Fraternal Order of Police, James Pasco, undermined the Obama administration’s rhetoric in its proposed ban on M855 “green tip” ammunition. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives says it wants to ban the popular AR-15 ammo because it can penetrate the bulletproof vests popular with law enforcement. But Pasco blew the cover off the ATF’s insincere concern for police officers. He toldThe Washington Examiner, “Any ammunition is of concern to police in the wrong hands, but this specific round has historically not posed a law enforcement problem.” He continued, “While this round will penetrate soft body armor, it has not historically posed a threat to law enforcement.” Instead, the Obama administration is using law enforcement as a political excuse – even as Obama continues slandering racist policing strategies. Like most of Obama’s executive “tweaks,” this proposal will rewrite laws. The Second Amendment Foundation’s Alan Gottlieb told Fox News, “Almost any hunting rifle bullet will go through body armor, so you could prohibit almost any rifle bullet with this. This is the administration redefining the law on its own.”
Two days after the Justice Department released a report on supposedly racist law enforcement in Ferguson, and just before the 50th anniversary march in Selma this weekend, Barack Obama took the opportunity to repeat his “cops are racist” mantra. A “big chunk” of the remaining civil rights problems, he said, are “dealing with civil rights and civil liberties in respect to law enforcement.” Of Ferguson, Obama asserted, “I don’t think that is typical of what happens across the country but it’s not an isolated incident.” Are police perfect? No. Was there abuse in Ferguson. Probably. But Obama and his race-baiting pals love to talk about “disparate impact” – the idea that blacks face disproportionate enforcement for law-breaking – and they use that false measure to smear cops in general. Yet as Mark Alexander wrote in December, “[W]hen 90% of murders in urban centers are ‘people of color’ and 90% of perpetrators are ‘people of color,’ cops of any color are going to be more cautious with ‘people of color.’ This is not ‘racism,’ this is reality, driven by a desire to make it home safely at the end of one’s shift.” More…
Look at the hypocrisy. Turns out, the State Department forced a U.S. ambassador from his position in 2012 for using – wait for it – a private email account. That’s right: While the head of the department, then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, ran an illicit email server from her New York home, the State Department berated Ambassador to Kenya Scott Gration for using Gmail. “The inspector general’s report specifically noted that Gration violated State Department policy by using a private, unsanctioned e-mail service for official business,” Sean Davis writes. “In its executive summary listing its key judgments against the U.S. ambassador to Kenya who served under Hillary Clinton, the inspector general stated that Gration’s decision to willfully violate departmental information security policies highlighted Gration’s ‘reluctance to accept clear-cut U.S. Government decisions.’ The report claimed that this reluctance to obey governmental security policies was the former ambassador’s ‘greatest weakness.’” While Gmail has decent security, Clinton’s email account left her information vulnerable to hackers. But she’s Hillary Clinton. Because she’s a master of political spin, she might get away with it scot free to the presidency. More…
Hillary Clinton finally addressed – through a tweet – the ever-growing scandal further tarnishing her tenure at the State Department. “I want the public to see my email,” she said. “I asked State to release them. They said they will review them for release as soon as possible.” That was enough to elicit high praise from Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-MD), a member of the House Select Committee on Benghazi. Cummings exclaimed, “As far as I am aware, no other Cabinet secretary in history has ever called for the release of his or her emails – in their entirety and throughout his or her tenure. I commend Secretary Clinton’s decision.” Of course, we’re wondering how many emails there actually are – much less damning correspondences that haven’t been thoroughly vetted and discarded – and Cummings didn’t mention anything about Clinton’s deplorable practice that prompted an investigation by Congress. Would he lavish such praise on the Bush administration’s Condoleezza Rice if she was being accused of malpractice? Clinton is in damage control, so her only option is to claim she has nothing to hide. And her fellow Democrats will help her every step of the way. More…

Republican Senators Mike Lee and Marco Rubio have put forward version 2.0 of their tax reform proposal first released last September. The two men offer a bit more detail to their sweeping plan this time around, and it’s still a strong, pro-growth proposal.
The broad strokes of the Lee-Rubio plan focus on making significant changes to the tax code to right the wrongs that have grown and multiplied over the last several decades. One of the most attractive elements of the plan is that it addresses both the business and the individual side of the tax structure from top to bottom. As National Review’s Yuval Levin points out, “Successful conservative tax reforms have always provided both broad-based relief and better incentives at the margins – not one or the other.”
The current tax code, as Lee and Rubio point out in their latest Wall Street Journal op-ed, has manifold failures – “impeding growth, discouraging investment, and restricting freedom on the business and the individual side – [and] they are all rooted in the same fundamental unfairness and inequity of a government that picks winners and losers.”
It’s one of the reasons recovery from the Great Recession has been more of a long, slow crawl toward a new mediocrity.
The Lee-Rubio plan attempts to balance these wrongs by making some fundamental changes to the tax code. One of the biggest changes is wiping away the seven current individual/family tax brackets and replacing them with two: 15% and 35%. The marriage penalty – so called because it taxes married couples higher than individuals – would be eliminated, along with the Alternative Minimum Tax and a number of deductions that also skew the tax system against working families. A new $2,500-per-child tax credit would be introduced to help offset overtaxed parents.
On the business side, the Lee-Rubio plan reduces the corporate tax rate to a maximum of 25%. It also eliminates double taxation of capital gains and dividends. Firms operating overseas would no longer have to pay tax abroad and at home, but only in the country where the income is generated. Businesses that invest in their own growth through expansion or infrastructure improvements will be able to deduct 100% of those expenses.
Like all ideas that come out of Washington, the senators' proposal is going to be attacked for either going too far or not far enough. Democrats will reject pro-growth tax reform, arguing it will ultimately mean lower revenue. That’s unacceptable to leftists who seek to grow the massive welfare state. Never mind that lower tax rates frequently lead to greater tax revenue because of economic growth.
Democrats from the White House on down like the tax system the way it is – unless they could squeeze even more from taxpayers. Since the passage of the Sixteenth Amendment, the government has used the tax system to cajole individuals, families and businesses into certain behaviors bureaucratic elites believe to be conducive to a more progressive nation. The Lee-Rubio plan deliberately rejects that thinking, so the senators are sure to face steep opposition.
On the other side, some believe the proposed rates are not low enough. The top 35% individual bracket under Lee-Rubio is only four-and-a-half points lower than the current top rate under Obama. Additionally, it would be applied to a wider swath of taxpayers, meaning many people would actually face a tax rate increase under the new plan. And there are those who wonder if the corporate tax reforms, generous though they may comparatively be, go far enough.
No plan ever comes out of Washington without being rightfully scrutinized and criticized. But Lee and Rubio make the strongest case thus far for sweeping reform of America’s crippling tax code. Whether there are any other courageous souls on Capitol Hill willing to join the fight is another story.
It didn’t take long for Ben Carson’s nascent 2016 presidential campaign to suffer a self-inflicted wound. Just after launching his “exploratory committee,” Carson spoke to CNN’s Chris Cuomo. When the conversation turned to homosexuality, Carson made the tenuous analogy regarding whether it is genetic or a choice by stating, “A lot of people … go into prison straight, and when they come out they’re gay.” As the great statesman Admiral Gial Ackbar once said, “It’s a trap!”
After conservative heads thumped desks around the country – incredulous at how Carson’s analogy would help to further “Akinize” the Republican Party – Carson tried to walk back the remarks the next day by stating what he said “does not fully reflect my heart on gay issues.” He added, “I do not pretend to know how every individual came to their sexual orientation. I regret that my words to express that concept were hurtful and divisive. For that I apologize unreservedly to all that were offended.”
But Carson fell into the trap deftly laid for him by a media searching for that “gotcha” moment they can use to paint all conservatives with the same brush. Just as most of the GOP hopefuls had to answer questions last month about Rudy Giuliani’s remarks regarding Barack Obama’s lack of love for America, now each will likely have to endure questions about sexual orientation thanks to Carson’s remarks. Never mind that the lackluster economy and foreign policy are far more pressing issues; if the media can shift the focus to social issues, they can trot out the tired old message about the “war on women” and Republicans being bigots and homophobes.
We know the Leftmedia give Republicans tougher questions – for example, you wouldn’t see Hillary Clinton or Joe Biden face a question on why their policies have consigned minority students to woefully underperforming schools or whether life begins at conception. But Carson then effectively egged on the media horde by declaring he won’t talk about the “gay rights” issue anymore. That insures his campaign will have to deal with this topic front and center for many months to come because the Leftmedia won’t take “no” for an answer – unless it involves information making a liberal look bad.
In Ben Carson, we have a very successful member of a minority group with a compelling story who happens to be conservative. That’s bad news for Democrats that count on the black population to give them 90% or more of their vote, and it’s a reason some observers would rather see Carson run for the suddenly open Senate seat in Maryland, based on his long history there and Maryland’s high minority population.
But the best part of Carson’s appeal is also the biggest problem he faces – the lack of political experience. You have to look back to Dwight Eisenhower to find a president who hadn’t held some sort of political office prior to winning election – and all Ike did was play a major role in winning a world war. Carson was a gifted neurosurgeon and certainly has appealing positions on a number of issues, but running for president presents a very steep learning curve where one won’t get a break because he’s “not a politician.”
All this is somewhat reminiscent of the Herman Cain campaign that caught fire in the fall of 2011 only to crash and burn amidst infidelity allegations a few months later. With an extremely deep and talented GOP field this time around, Carson supporters have to ask whether a neophyte can win. The conservative side won’t get the benefit of the media’s lack of curiosity we saw about Obama and his background, so the 2016 presidential race may be better run by an experienced hand. Otherwise, Ben Carson has to be much more prepared than he showed during his first few days on the trail.

The real significance of this moment – and a partial explanation of the media firestorm over it – is that time is running out to stop the Clinton freight train. … At some point down the tracks, when yet another fetid cloud of Clintonism erupts into plain view, many smart liberals will look back at this moment as the time when they should have pulled the emergency brake and gotten off the Hillary train. The unease they feel now will be nothing compared to the buyer’s remorse to come.”

The call comes amid heightened tensions between Israel and the US over nuclear talks between a US-led coalition of western powers and Iran, and Netanyahu’s March 3 speech to the US Congress in which he will argue against an emerging deal.
Hanoi Kerry has attacked Netanyahu personally in recent days, implying last week that the Israeli premier’s support for the US invasion of Iraq in 2003 was an indication of faulty judgment.
On Sunday, Hanoi Kerry tried to calm tensions ahead of Netanyahu’s address. He insisted the nObama administration’s record on Iran entitled the US to “the benefit of the doubt” as negotiators work toward a long-term nuclear deal.
Hanoi Kerry said — in an interview broadcast before he left for more talks in Switzerland with Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif — that Netanyahu was welcome to speak in the US and that the administration did not want the event “turned into some great political football.”
That sentiment was a step back from some of the sharp rhetoric between the allies in recent weeks.
But Hanoi Kerry stressed that Israel was safer as a result of the short-term nuclear pact that world powers and Iran reached in late 2013, and he described that improvement as the “standard we will apply to any agreement” with Tehran.
Officials have described the United States, Europe, Russia and China as considering a compromise that would see Iran’s nuclear activities severely curtailed for at least a decade, with the restrictions and US and Western economic penalties eased in the final years of a deal.
“We are going to test whether or not diplomacy can prevent this weapon from being created, so you don’t have to turn to additional measures including the possibility of a military confrontation,” Hanoi Kerry told ABC’s “This Week.”
“Our hope is that diplomacy can work. And I believe, given our success of the interim agreement, we deserve the benefit of the doubt to find out whether or not we can get a similarly good agreement with respect to the future.”
Netanyahu, set to arrive in Washington later Sunday, will press his opposition to a diplomatic accommodation of Iran’s nuclear program in the speech Tuesday. The prime minister says he is making the address out of concern for Israel’s security.
The invitation from Republican congressional leaders and Netanyahu’s acceptance have caused an uproar that has exposed tensions between Israel and the US, its most important ally.
By consenting to speak, Netanyahu angered the White House, which was not consulted in advance, and Democrats, who were forced to choose between showing support for Israel and backing the president.
“I will do everything in my ability to secure our future,” Netanyahu said before flying to Washington. He described himself as “an emissary” of the Jewish people.
The congressional speech has also sparked criticism in Israel, where Netanyahu is seeking reelection on March 17. He also planned to speak Monday at the annual conference of the pro-Israel lobbying group AIPAC.
Netanyahu considers unacceptable any deal that does not dramatically set back Iran’s nuclear program. But President Barack nObama is willing to leave some nuclear activity intact, backed by safeguards that Iran is not trying to develop a weapon. Iran insists its program is solely for peaceful energy and medical research purposes.
The dispute has become more personal of late.
Last week, nObama’s national security adviser, Susan Rice, described the timing and partisan manner of Netanyahu’s visit as “destructive” for the US-Israeli relationship.
On Sunday, Hanoi Kerry painted a more positive picture of continued close cooperation. He said the US-Israeli security partnership was closer than at any point before, and noted the large investment of American money in the Jewish state’s Iron Dome missile defense system.
He said the US government has “intervened on Israel’s behalf in the last two years a couple of hundred times” — in more than 75 for a — “in order to protect Israel.”

Sen. Mike Lee of Utah is holding a hearing on music licensing next Tuesday. It is very important that people whom treasure music sharing programs to pay close attention to the hearing. This hearing could have a dramatic impact on a large segment of Americans who use their phone or computer to listen to music.
The Justice Department is studying two consent decrees that have governed the sale of music licenses for nearly 75 years. The distributors of those licenses have hired top gun lobbyists to pressure the Justice Department and members of Congress to lift the agreements allowing the recording industry and music publishers to fix prices on radio stations, television broadcasters and streaming music. Let's not forget all the money that the recording industry raised for President Barack Obama's re-election campaign.
In a free market, there would be no reason for agreements with the government not to fix prices. But due to the unique nature of copyright law and the way musical rights are aggregated to music publishers, there is no competition. Without the consent decrees, there would be no market.
The results of vacating the decrees would be devastating and the impact would be felt must immediately by fans of streaming music. With the bulk of their revenues going out the door in the form of royalty payments, Pandora and others probably wouldn't survive if the music publishers could dictate prices without the give and take of a marketplace.
Innovation is great. People are embracing new technology but the recording industry seems intent on holding on to a business model that has become outdated. That's why they send millions of dollars on lobbyists and why they hate technological innovation.

It's not far fetched to envision a future where you turn on Pandora or your favorite streaming service and you hear the following message: “We are sorry, but Pandora was put out of business by politicians in Washington, DC.” The only thing preventing that from happening is two consent decrees with the government.

Morgan Stanley CEO James Gorman Says Financial Management Does More Harm Than Good. Deceit and Risk Corrupted the Financial Markets.
Morgan Stanley, CEO James Gorman executives received stock-based performance packages that nearly doubled since they were granted three years ago, as reported by Bloomberg. James Gorman’s reward was 113,510 shares, around 6% more than was originally projected after the company beat targets for investor returns.
Morgan Stanley’s stock has increased 165% in three years, and has outperformed the S&P 500. Gorman told the Australian Financial Review some of the lessons he has learned heading up one of the major forces in the financial world.
For one thing, even though he is a CEO, James Gorman thinks management is more likely to do harm than good to a bank. “A laser focus on the quality of management is crucial,” Gorman said, according to the Australian Financial Review. The key is not strong personalities, but strong values, discipline and control-oriented focus. In addition, a CEO needs to recognize that catastrophic risk is faced by all companies, identify where the potential for this risk lies and neutralize it. Gorman added that capitalizing a company’s strengths is crucial, and used the example of Morgan Stanley making smart acquisitions, such as Citigroup’s wealth management business, during the financial crisis. In addition, company culture is important; everyone working for a company needs sufficient ego to avoid being an automaton, but should be a devoted team player who can add a unique perspective to the running of a business.
But the truth is that Deceit and Risk Corrupted the Financial Markets', former Morgan Stanley trader Frank Partnoy argues that “the structure of Wall Street compensation seemed to encourage traders to take excessive risks, or even to defraud their firms.” Employees who gambled on risky investments that achieved windfall profits in the short term saw their bonuses increase exponentially. On the flip side, if their bets resulted in spectacular losses for a bank’s clients, there were few consequences the criminals got rewarded and our government granted impunity to these criminals that demise the savings and retirement of the working people of this country.

| Churchill's biographers say they can't find the quote, but someone said it. The left/right dichotomy has strongly influenced my life for decades. When I was teaching in the public schools, my history textbooks were slanted liberal. I provided balance by offering a conservative point of view to contrast the book’s perspective. Lately I’ve been teaching a group of ten home-schooled, high school-age students in Auburn with whom I’m doing something I’ve always wanted to try: using both a liberal text and a conservative text, and assigning them readings on a particular period in history from two perspectives. Each student has “A People’s History of the United States” by the late Howard Zinn - a closet communist. They also have “A Patriot’s History of the United States” by Schweikart and Allen. I’ve got students only once a week for two hours, and we cannot cover too much in one year, but it’s very instructive to compare and contrast the two points of view. Authors of both books claim to be unbiased, but neither Zinn nor Schweikart, nor Allen are of course. Neither am I, but I try to be. No one is really, but we should keep our minds open.
When I started teaching in 1975, I was pretty far to the left. After dropping out of college in 1972, I worked with liberals in Hanoi John Kerry’s failed congressional campaign in the Massachusetts 5th district that year. I also worked with “community organizer” disciples of Saul Alinsky and Noam Chomsky in Lowell, Massachusetts. After all that I went back to school to become a teacher and began my long metamorphosis from left to right. When I first started publishing columns in 1989, I was still straddling the fence. By about 1993, however, I had become a full-fledged conservative.
Around that time, I began publishing regular weekly columns for local newspapers in which I expressed my opinions without reserve. Many readers on the left assumed I taught my history classes the same way I wrote my columns. At first, they wrote letters to the editor suggesting I was unfit to teach and these were published frequently. Several leftists went further by trying to influence principals, superintendents, school boards, and state teacher licensing agencies to discipline me, silence me, or pull my teaching certification. By the time I retired, I had amassed quite a paper trail documenting their efforts. For the past three years, I’ve been working on and off writing a book about this, being careful to get it all down as it happened. Last month, I thought, “Okay, I’m done. It’s all down there in black and white.” I printed it off, made some copies, and asked friends to read it with the condition that they be ruthless in their feedback. Well, that feedback is trickling in and I’m thinking maybe I’m not all done. Looks like I need to expand it. Some suggest I add more on what caused me to move from left to right. Others said it reads too much like “just the facts, ma’am” written by a detective or a reporter, and I need to put in more about what it felt like as events unfolded.
Then there’s the business of book publishing. It’s not like publishing columns, except that both are changing rapidly. The more I look into it, the more I realize how much I still have to learn. It looks like I may have been premature when I announced on the “Left and Right” show that my book about moving from left to right was finished. It was hard enough to get down what happened. Now I’m going to have to write about my feelings? Introduction
What do Common Core, “comprehensive” immigration reform, and IRS targeting of conservative groups have in common? They are just a few examples of Muslim Brotherhood-connected policy initiatives that are affecting the lives of Americans every day. Under Obama, many new domestic policies, as well as many scandals, can be traced back to, in varying degrees, the Muslim Brotherhood.
To understand why America no longer feels like America – why it seems that the government has its favorites and while others are targeted and even persecuted – it is important to understand two strong influences on the Muslim Brotherhood. The first is historical: the Nazi Party of Hitler’s Germany. The second is more contemporary: the strategy developed by Al Qaeda’s strategic mastermind, Abu Musab al-Suri.
“The Vampire Economy” and Economic Repression
In 1939, German economist Guenter Reimann published a study of the German economy under Hitler. The Vampire Economy described a corrupt, backwards economy that was not based on any economic logic, much less profit seeking, but instead on the politics of the Fuehrer (i.e., Leader), Adolf Hitler.
Like Communism, Nazism was a form of socialism. (The term Nazi is a contraction of the German word Nationalsozialismus, or National Socialism.) Unlike Soviet Communism, which, at least theoretically, depended on shared ownership of capital to direct the economy, in Nazi Germany the shops, farms, and factories remained, nominally, in private hands. Yet the outcome was basically the same in both Soviet Russia and Nazi Germany: total control over the economy by the Leader and the Party.
In Germany, the pseudo-legal rationale used by the Nazis was regulation, which was subject to change on a whim. If you stepped outside the regulations, you were punished with fines, political persecution, imprisonment, and possibly shipped off to a concentration camp. Sound familiar?
Yet pervasive corruption in the Third Reich ensured the rules applied differently to those in favor, and to those who opposed the Nazis. Specifically, in such an economy, there are party members in good standing, and there were dissidents. Party members can break rules with impunity, while dissidents face public character assassinations and blacklisting.
This calls to mind Obamacare’s implementation. Certain companies, approximately 1,200 in fact, received waivers from the law. Other businesses were forced to provide health coverage for abortions against the will and conscience of the business owners (though the Supreme Court later overruled this regulation). A similar comparison can be made for the fines and prosecutions unequally levied on banks for violating a myriad of complex and overlapping regulations.
Abu Musab Al-Suri’s Plan to Cripple the American Economy
Although most Americans know the name Osama bin Laden, very few know the name Abu Musab al-Suri. While bin Laden provided the charisma and wealth to found Al Qaeda, al-Suri, one of his top lieutenants, provided valuable strategic advice to the fledgling jihadi network. A member of the Muslim Brotherhood from the time he was a student, al-Suri rose to become a member of the Brotherhood’s military command in 1982.
Al-Suri was a calculating thinker, who recognized that to bring down America (and the West in general) would require something different than mass murders. He urged the targeting of high value targets, such as infrastructure, which would force the United States to incur significant economic costs. As an example of this strategy in practice, Al-Suri was the architect of the 2004 Madrid train bombings. There is a good case to be made that the World Trade Center was long in Al Qaeda’s sights precisely because it was a bastion of capitalism, an important hub of New York City’s communications network, and the home of many prominent companies.
Of course, there’s little sense in physically targeting an economy which has already been knuckled-down under onerous, impossible to keep-up-with regulations issued by Obama’s bureaucracies. Various sectors of the American economy have already been effectively taken over by the Muslim Brotherhood Obama administration, including: healthcare, banking, energy, agriculture (think EPA and FDA), and transportation. Last week, the Obama administration, without the consent of Congress or the people, seized untold new powers to regulate the internet.
Meanwhile, as the government unapologetically intrudes into every aspect of life and business, a case could be made that the middle class is being systematically bankrupted. Financial columnist Charles Ortel has shown that the economy is fundamentally as weak as it has been in a generation. Following the collapse in 2008, the government pumped in trillions of dollars to supposedly stabilize and jumpstart the economy (recall the misnamed “Stimulus”). But as of January 2015, there were fewer core jobs in the private sector economy than ten years earlier. Compounding this economic morass is national debt: in roughly the same period (2005-2014), debt has increased $16.5 trillion, to $58 trillion. Finally, information from 2012 and 2013 (the most recent data available), shows pre-tax incomes decreasing for high, middle, and low income earning households.
Abu Musab al-Suri had a terrorist superstar with Osama bin Laden. However, when it comes to economically knee-capping the American economy, Barack Hussein Obama has proved far more effective than the cave rat, Sheikh bin Laden.
U.S. Chamber of Commerce in Doha, Qatar – Bipartisan Influence by Muslim Brotherhood
What would be powerful enough to exert this influence over the American economy? What entity could be that pervasive as to reach into big business across the nation?
In February 2010, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce established their first legal Chamber in Doha, Qatar. Qatar, the reader should be reminded, is a prolific financier of terror. Qatar is also home to the spiritual leader of the Muslim Brotherhood, Yusuf al-Qaradawi, now an Interpol fugitive. The Chamber represents American business and also has an explicitly political and diplomatic mission. In the words of the Chamber’s Executive Vice President and COO, David Chavern, AmCham Qatar is “another concrete example of positive U.S. Engagement with the Muslim world.”
Among the companies and organizations which are premier sponsors of AmCham Qatar are ExxonMobil, The Boeing Corporation, Carnegie Mellon Qatar, Northwestern University in Qatar, and Fluor. Moreover, the following companies have significant involvement with the State of Qatar: Lockheed Martin, Bloomberg, Bank of America, Miramax, among many more.
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce, with its close ties to Qatar, is by far the largest lobbying spender in Washington ($136.3 million in 2012). Business is a bipartisan pursuit, which means that money from Qatar – which is arguably today’s most prolific financial sponsor of Islamic terror – carries great weight in both Republican and Democrat circles.
Indeed, Republican Senator Lindsey Graham is on the record last year as saying, “I’m going to embrace being a Chamber of Commerce Republican.” He was part of a bipartisan Senate delegation to Qatar this January which also included Senators John McCain (R-AZ), Bob Corker (R-TN), John Barrasso (R-WY), Angus King (I-ME) and Tim Kaine (D-VA).
The Brotherhood’s Connections to Policies and Scandals of the Obama Administration
In June 2012, The Daily Caller reported that the CAIR, the Council on American Islamic Relations, had attended “hundreds” meetings with the Obama administration. CAIR, it will be recalled, is a Muslim Brotherhood front organization very closely tied to Hamas.
Why so many meetings? What incredible portfolio of business does CAIR have to discuss with an American administration? What follows is a snapshot of various policies and scandals that are linked, often directly, to Muslim Brotherhood individuals, organizations, and their goal of “civilization jihad.”
Militarization of the Department of Homeland Security: While running for President, Obama stated several times that America needed a civilian national security force that matched the might of the U.S. military. Candidate Obama stated in 2008, “We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded.”
To many, this sounded like a call for a militarized federal police force. Given that DHS has been advised by such people as Mohammed Elibiary, Arif Alikhan, Eboo Patel, and Mohamed Magid, who each have documented ties with the Muslim Brotherhood, is it not possible that DHS has been weaponized as a force against the American people by the Islamists?
Domestic Spying and Wiretapping: While journalists at AP and Fox News have been subjects of wiretapping ordered by Eric Holder‘s misnamed Department of Justice, the NSA’s dragnet on regular Americans has been revealed to be broader than virtually anyone suspected.
Curiously, the spreadsheets that were leaked detailing the email tracking of Muslim American leaders stop in 2008. CAIR Director Nihad Awad is listed as a target, as is Faisal Gill, a Republican operative who held a top-secret security clearance with the Department of Homeland Security. The spreadsheets were leaked in 2014 by former NSA contractor Edward Snowden.
Purge of Military Officers and Christianity: Over the past several years, the U.S. military has been purged of hundreds of high ranking officers. Many of these dedicated military officers were dismissed based on trivial offenses. Occurring simultaneously is a purge of Christianity, indeed even Bibles, from the U.S. military.
Anti-Police Protests: In conjunction with the militarization of DHS, state and local law enforcement have been targets of the Obama administration and Eric Holder’s Department of Justice. This anti-police agenda culminated last summer with riots in Ferguson, Missouri and violent protests New York City. Among the most prominent groups involved in these protests was ANSWER, a pro-Palestinian group that had on its original steering committee the Muslim Students Association.
Finally, the NYC cop killer Ismaaiyl Abdullah Brinsley stated on his own Facebook page that he was previously an employee of the (Muslim Brotherhood) Islamic Society of North America (ISNA). At the time of the killing, the president of ISNA was Mohamed Magid, an advisor to Obama, DHS, and the National Security Council.
Immigration and Amnesty: Revealed in a recent editorial, “Between 2010 and 2013, the Obama administration imported almost 300,000 new immigrants from Muslim nations — more immigrants than the U.S. let in from Central America and Mexico combined over that period.” Given the paucity of background and security checks, as well as the high incidence of terrorism from such countries, it is any surprise that the FBI now admits that ISIS is active in all 50 states?
The Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC), another Muslim Brotherhood front organization operating in the United States, conveniently issued a policy paper in September 2013 calling for “comprehensive immigration reform.”
Moreover, in January the Obama appointed Fatima Noor, a veiled Muslim woman, to the position of “Special Assistant in the Office of the Director for U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services in the Department of Homeland Security.” Other than her religion, her credentials are very thin.
It is hardly an exaggeration to state that the administration is taking gradual steps to eliminating the very concept of American citizenship. In fact, a recent White House conference call made it explicit that these new immigrants are not supposed to assimilate into American society, but instead establish their own ethnic communities within the United States. Does this remind anyone of Gaza, or the no-go zones in Europe?
Common Core: Even classroom education has not escaped the tentacles of the Muslim Brotherhood. The connection between Common Core and the international terror group is through, once again, Qatar. The Connect All Schools initiative is a program to promote “One World Education.” It is aligned to Common Core State Standards, and is funded by the Qatar Foundation International (QFI). The director of QFI’s Research Center for Islamic Legislation and Ethics is Tariq Ramadan, grandson of Muslim Brotherhood founder, Hassan al-Banna.
According to WND, in 2011 QFI “partnered with the Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education to facilitate matchmaking between classrooms in the U.S. and international schools through … the “Connect All Schools” project.” QFI explains on its own website that the initiative was founded in response to Obama’s infamous 2009 Cairo speech, during which Obama had the Muslim Brotherhood seated in the front row.
Participation of the Qatar Foundation International puts in proper context the ever more prevalent cases of Sharia (i.e. Islamic law) incursions into American schools, such as: girls forced to cover up like devout Muslims on school sponsored trips to mosques; Islamic vocabulary lessons in high school; the teaching of Islamic culture; teaching the five pillars of Islam and “A call to jihad;” and Qatar investing $5 million to teach Arabic in schools.
Finally, any treatment of Common Core would not be complete without mentioning the involvement of another one of Obama’s mentors, domestic terrorist Bill Ayers. Ayers received $49.2 million from Vartan Gregorian, a board member of Qatar Foundation who is also part of Obama’s White House Fellowships Commission. Gregorian is an integral part of Connect All Schools.
IRS Targeting of Conservative and Pro-Israel Groups: The targeting of Obama’s political enemies is reminiscent of the politicized bureaucracies of all tyrannies, from Nazism to Communism and everything in between. Among the persecuted by apparatchik Lois Lerner were: hundreds of conservative groups, Constitutional groups, groups that criticized Obama, 5 pro-Israel groups, and an 83 year old Nazi concentration camp survivor.
As usual, the pattern of targeting conservatives, Israel, and Jews in general is the trend of the Obama administration … and the Muslim Brotherhood. The IRS targeting nearly mirrors DHS’s profiling of “right wing sovereign citizens and extremist groups” as the primary terrorist threat facing the country, which was CAIR approved.
In addition to suppressing political enemies, the IRS has actually enabled the Muslim Brotherhood through Obama’s half-brother, Malik.
In 2011, the IRS granted a 501©(3) statuses to two groups connected to Barack Obama’s half-brother, Malik Obama: the Barack H. Obama Foundation (BHOF), and Mama Sarah Obama Foundation (MSOF).
This would not be of particular concern, but for the fact that Malik Obama has documented associations with the Muslim Brotherhood, wanted terrorists, and terrorist organizations. These include Sudan’s Muslim Brotherhood leader Omar al-Bashir, the organizers of the infamous 2010 Gaza Flotilla, and Hamas. In fact, contravening all standard practices, the IRS granted the tax exempt status to BHOF retroactively, after it was learned that Malik was falsely and criminally representing his organization as a charity (which, at the time, it was not). The George Soros Connection
In more than one of these instances, the fingerprints of billionaire investor (and breaker of nations and currencies) George Soros can be found. Soros operates a vast network of various “leftist” front organizations. In reality, these organizations are anything but liberal. They regularly attack capitalism, Israel, and fund the subversion of American society. It is not the intention here to dissect Soros’s network and political machinations, but to place him in context in the above scandals.
Combating “Islamophobia”: Soros has “donated” $10,117,186 to the Center for American Progress since 2000. One of the major initiatives of CAP is to combat “sharia hysteria” by the “religious right.”
Ferguson unrest: Soros’s Open Society Institute donated $33 million in one year to various activist groups in Ferguson who were active in the protests and subsequent destruction.
Immigration: Prominent Muslim American immigration lawyer Rabia Chaudry is employed by another Soros-controlled group, the New America Foundation. Previously Chaudry was Media Relations Director of CAIR-CT.
Common Core: A project of the Soros-funded Center for American Progress (CAP), Common Core was conceived under the direction of John Podesta, while he was President of CAP. Podesta is currently Counselor to Obama, and also a Visiting Professor at Georgetown University Law Center. (Note: Georgetown has a campus of their School of Foreign Service in Doha, Qatar. All campus costs are fully covered by a grant of the Qatar Foundation, which also funds aspects of Common Core.)
Net Neutrality Regulation: According to Washington Examiner, Soros funded “net neutrality” groups to the tune of $196 million. Net neutrality was adopted last week by a committee vote of the FCC, and is widely expected to be used to regulate content on the internet and television.
Conclusion
Tyranny, whatever name it’s given, has one recipe. It starts with a base of fear, it’s spiced with terror, and served with sides of persecution and intimidation. The poorer and more desperate the people become, the more readily they’ll meld into the pottage of political domination by their government.
Taken alone, none of these events would be of much concern in a country of 300+ million people. Even the general feeling of depression and oppression by government could be overlooked as a result of global economic conditions, many which are out of the control of even the President of the United States.
But viewed together through the lens of the Muslim Brotherhood’s plan to dominate America and bring her down from within, dismissing them as coincidence would be to ignore a carefully constructed plan. Whether attacks on cops, downright crazy immigration policies, the persecution of American citizens by the IRS, or the takeover of school curricula, there is a rhythm to all of these scandals that jives seamlessly with the song of the Muslim Brotherhood.
Evidence above suggests a bipartisan infection, a betrayal of the American people by the crony establishment in both parties. What will it take before the pundits, politicians, and regular Americans start to demand answers and accountability from the people in their own government who are each day plotting their demise, and will only be content when the American people are destitute and servile?

In recent years he released terrorist murderers from prison. He abrogated Jewish property rights in Jerusalem, Judea, and Samaria. He agreed to support the establishment of a Palestinian state west of the Jordan River. He agreed to keep giving the Palestinians of Gaza free electricity while they waged war against Israel. He did all of these things in a bid to accommodate US President Barack nObama and win over the media, while keeping the leftist parties in his coalitions happy.
For his part, for the past six years nObama has undermined Israel’s national security. He has publicly humiliated Netanyahu repeatedly.
He has delegitimized Israel’s very existence, embracing the jihadist lie that Israel’s existence is the product of post-Holocaust European guilt rather than 4,000 years of Jewish history.
He and his representatives have given a backwind to the forces that seek to wage economic warfare against Israel, repeatedly indicating that the application of economic sanctions against Israel – illegal under the World Trade Organization treaties – are a natural response to Israel’s unwillingness to bow to every Palestinian demand. The same goes for the movement to deny the legitimacy of Israel’s very existence. Senior administration officials have threatened that Israel will become illegitimate if it refuses to surrender to Palestinian demands.
Last summer, nObama openly colluded with Hamas’s terrorist war against Israel. He tried to coerce Israel into accepting ceasefire terms that would have amounted to an unconditional surrender to Hamas’s demands for open borders and the free flow of funds to the terrorist group. He enacted a partial arms embargo on Israel in the midst of war. He cut off air traffic to Ben-Gurion International Airport under specious and grossly prejudicial terms in an open act of economic warfare against Israel.
And yet, despite nObama’s scandalous treatment of Israel, Netanyahu has continued to paper over differences in public and thank nObama for the little his has done on Israel’s behalf. He always makes a point of thanking nObama for agreeing to Congress’s demand to continue funding the Iron Dome missile defense system (although nObama has sought repeatedly to slash funding for the project).
nObama’s policies that are hostile to Israel are not limited to his unconditional support for the Palestinians in their campaign against Israel. nObama shocked the entire Israeli defense community when he supported the overthrow of Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak, despite Mubarak’s dependability as a US ally in the war on Islamist terrorism, and as the guardian of both Egypt’s peace treaty with Israel and the safety and freedom of maritime traffic in the Suez Canal.
nObama supported Mubarak’s overthrow despite the fact that the only political force in Egypt capable of replacing him was the Muslim Brotherhood, which seeks the destruction of Israel and is the ideological home and spawning ground of jihadist terrorist groups, including al-Qaida and Hamas. nObama then supported the Muslim Brotherhood’s regime even as then-president Mohamed Morsi took concrete steps to transform Egypt into an Islamist, jihadist state and end Egypt’s peace with Israel.
Israelis were united in our opposition to nObama’s behavior. But Netanyahu said nothing publicly in criticism of nObama’s destructive, dangerous policy.
He held his tongue in the hopes of winning nObama over through quiet diplomacy.
He held his tongue, because he believed that the damage nObama was causing Israel was not irreversible in most cases. And it was better to maintain the guise of good relations, in the hopes of actually achieving them, than to expose the fractures in US-Israel ties caused by nObama’s enormous hostility toward Israel and by his strategic myopia that endangered both Israel and the US’s other regional allies.
And yet, today Netanyahu, the serial accommodator, is putting everything on the line. He will not accommodate. He will not be bullied. He will not be threatened, even as all the powers that have grown used to bringing him to his knees – the nObama administration, the American Jewish Left, the Israeli media, and the Labor party grow ever more shrill and threatening in their attacks against him.
As he has made clear in daily statements, Netanyahu is convinced that we have reached a juncture in our relations with the nObama administration where accommodation is no longer possible.
nObama’s one policy that Netanyahu has never acquiesced to either publicly or privately is his policy of accommodating Iran.
Since nObama’s earliest days in office, Netanyahu has warned openly and behind closed doors that nObama’s plan to forge a nuclear deal with Iran is dangerous. And as the years have passed, and the lengths nObama is willing to go to appease Iran’s nuclear ambitions have been left their marks on the region, Netanyahu’s warnings have grown stronger and more urgent.
Netanyahu has been clear since his first tenure in office in the 1990s, that Iran’s nuclear program – as well as its ballistic missile program – constitutes a threat to Israel’s very existence. He has never wavered from his position that Israel cannot accept an Iran armed with nuclear weapons.
Until nObama entered office, and to an ever escalating degree until his reelection in 2012, preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons has been such an obvious imperative among both Israelis and Americans that Netanyahu’s forthright rejection of any nuclear deal in which Iran would be permitted to maintain the components of its nuclear program was uncontroversial. In some Israeli circles, his trenchant opposition to Iran’s acquisition of nuclear capabilities was the object of derision, with critics insisting that he was standing strong on something uncontroversial while buckling on issues like negotiations with the Palestinians, where he should have stood strong.
But now we are seeing that far from being an opportunist, Netanyahu is a leader of historical dimensions. For the past two years, in the interest of reaching a deal, nObama has enabled Iran to take over Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, and Yemen. For the first time since 1974, due to nObama’s policies, the Golan Heights is an active front in the war against Israel, with Iranian military personnel commanding Syrian and Hezbollah forces along the border.
Iran’s single-minded dedication to its goal of becoming a regional hegemon and its commitment to its ultimate goal of destroying the US is being enabled by nObama’s policies of accommodation. An Iran in possession of a nuclear arsenal is an Iran that can not only destroy Israel with just one or two warheads. It can make it impossible for Israel to respond to conventional aggression carried out by terrorist forces and others operating under an Iranian nuclear umbrella.
Whereas Israel can survive nObama on the Palestinian front by stalling, waiting him out and placating him where possible, and can even survive his support for Hamas by making common cause with the Egyptian military and the government of President Abdel Fattah al-Sissi, the damage nObama’s intended deal with Iran will cause Israel will be irreversible. The moment that nObama grants Iran a path to a nuclear arsenal – and the terms of the agreement that nObama has offered Iran grant Iran an unimpeded path to nuclear power – a future US administration will be hard-pressed to put the genie back in the bottle.
For his efforts to prevent irreparable harm to Israel Netanyahu is being subjected to the most brutal and vicious attacks any Israeli leader has ever been subjected to by an American administration and its political allies. They are being assisted in their efforts by a shameless Israeli opposition that is willing to endanger the future of the country in order to seize political power.
Every day brings another serving of abuse. Wednesday National Security Adviser Susan Rice accused Netanyahu of destroying US relations with Israel. Secretary of State Hanoi John Kerry effectively called him a serial alarmist, liar, and warmonger.
For its part, the Congressional Black Caucus reportedly intends to sabotage Netanyahu’s address before the joint houses of Congress by walking out in the middle, thus symbolically accusing of racism the leader of the Middle East’s only liberal democracy, and the leader of the most persecuted people in human history.
Radical leftist representatives who happen to be Jewish, like Jan Schakowsky of suburban Chicago and Steve Cohen of Memphis, are joining Netanyahu’s boycotters in order to give the patina of Jewish legitimacy to an administration whose central foreign policy threatens the viability of the Jewish state.
As for Netanyahu’s domestic opponents, their behavior is simply inexcusable. In Israel’s hour of peril, just weeks before nObama intends to conclude his nuclear deal with the mullahs that will endanger Israel’s existence, Labor leader Yitzhak Herzog insists that his primary duty is to defeat Netanyahu.
And as far as Iran is concerned, he acts as a free loader ad a spoiler. Either he believes that Netanyahu will succeed in his mission to derail the deal with or without his support, or he doesn’t care. But Herzog’s rejection of Netanyahu’s entreaties that he join him in Washington next week, and his persistent attacks on Netanyahu for refusing accommodate that which cannot be accommodated shows that he is both an opportunist and utterly unworthy of a leadership role in this country.
Netanyahu is not coming to Washington next Tuesday to warn Congress against nObama’s nuclear deal with Iran, because he seeks a fight with nObama. Netanyahu has devoted the last six years to avoiding a fight with nObama, often at great cost to Israel’s national security and to his own political position.
Netanyahu is coming to Washington next week because nObama has left him no choice. And all decent people of good will should support him, and those who do not, and those who are silent, should be called out for their treachery and cowardice.
