            legal Constitutional Gun  Weapons Rights

Where do you draw the line in the sand in defense of your life, your family and your community? What happens when the President of the United States, determines that it is illegal for you to use the very guns which are constitutionally protected because he issues an executive order against ownership? What alternative are you left with, and who can you turn to?

Your weapons which are constitutionally protected may need a local sheriff who will stand against the federal tidal wave of unconstitutional White House directives to protect gun rights!

States and local sheriffs in several jurisdictions are leading a resurgent awakening in the nation in protecting the gun rights of citizens from being quashed by federal edicts. In fact, some of these states which are considering legislation to criminalize efforts of federal employees that attempt to enforce gun control executive orders. Some of these states considering legislation action include Alabama, Missouri, Montana, South Carolina, Texas, and Wyoming, among others.

Reaction to the proposed legislative edicts by President Obama for a reinstated sticker assault-weapons ban and a 10-round limit on magazines is raising concerns by local law enforcement officials. According to CNS News, Oregon, Linn County Sheriff Tim Mueller has already told Vice President Biden in a letter, that he will not enforce any recommended gun laws he deemed unconstitutional.

Another sheriff has joined the growing effort to prevent the assault on legal law abiding citizen’s Second Amendment rights in the state of Kentucky. According to Breitbart, Sheriff Denny Peyman of Jackson County, Kentucky stated recently, “My office will not comply with any federal action which violates the United States Constitution or the Kentucky Constitution which I swore uphold."

A state legislative leader in Texas is tackling this gun control overreach by the Obama administration and gun control advocates. Rep. Steve Toth (R) is planning legislative action to make it illegal for the state of Texas to enforce any federal laws that restrict the constitutional rights of its citizens to own semi-automatic firearms or the size of gun magazines.

Is this not the legal obligation of all local sheriffs and state legislative officials to uphold the dictates of the U.S. Constitution as well as their own state constitution? Is this not their oath of office? In fact, it makes perfect sense that every county, parish and borough in America has a sheriff or law enforcement officials who has taken such an oath to uphold the U.S. Constitution.

  • I rest my case about Civilization Jihad in our public schools even Jan Morgan Media is commenting about it soooo! Where is the outrage huh? I'll be damn if they try this on my grand children because they will hear this Navy Vet!

  • The 3rd Amendment is my line in the sand

  • Nah! You aren't lazy, Joyce....you're smart! Antone who watches the shot-'em'up movies knows the guy who has extra full clips available with extra ammo has a big advantage in any fire fight!

I'm looking for a semi-auto 9mm with clips that hold 9 rounds or more and I want two full clips in my pocket.

That should narrow the possibilities of prospective side arms I will buy. It also has to be light-weight for concealed carry under the arm in a holster. It would also be nice to have a holster with clip pockets.

I'm off to search the internet!

  • Some kind of 9mm is what I'd like to have due to capacity & have pre-loaded extra clips. Maybe I'm just lazy cuz I don't wanna re-load every 6 shots, but maybe it's sentimental now cuz that's the type of gun used in my backyard shampoo bottle story where my current husband & his friend unloaded nearly 2 clips on it... & my oldest 2 sons got to watch while I took 1 shot & handed it back. I've had bragging rights ever since. (Maybe that's why this hubby is so much better than the last? HAHAHA)

  • I like the idea of having a couple full clips in my pocket that I can pop in a 9mm if needed.....and the cost is right, too.

  • Hmmmm, Joyce.....blind from diabetes, eh? Didn't Capone die blind from syphilis?

One more thing to ask of the Creator's mercy regarding Obama.....what goes around comes around.....does blindness accompany AIDS in the later stages?

  • Dang Phil, youre wicked man LOL

  • Hey Wilson, these guys gave you some pretty good advice on personal protection firearms. I agree with MeMike on the 9mm. Buy top rate ammo (remington/winchester etc) so you dont have a jam or misfire if youre goin with a semi auto. Myself I have a 357 w/6in barrell revolver. I like the revolver b/c if I have a misfire I can just go to the next round. But I sacrifice capacity by doing so (6 rounds vs 15). If you buy a semi auto you might wanna consider a 38 revolver for a back up. Check out Reds post. Anyway happy hunting. "Gentlemen, prepare to defend yourselves" Sgt Mjr Basil Plummley

Makes good sense.  9mm is the way to go for those not tuned to larger calibers.  JHPs are good. My favorite is Winchester Silver Tips.

  • Wilson, the gun you buy depends on what for.  If you plan to carry and home defense, 9mm is the way to go.  It is down to personal ability with money and recoil.  The 40 and 45 cost almost twice as much as 9mm so being retired I have money to buy more 9mm.  As far as the recoil, I find I group much better with 9mm than with 40 and 45.  In other words, I have a better chance hitting the target with the 9mm as most of the time the first shot misses so less recoil is easier to bring your gun back on target.  One important thing to consider, 9mm holds far more bullets than 40 or 45.

One more thing...I use jhp for home and personal defense and fmj for target.  Why?  JHP will stay in the body better, where FMJ will go through the body and hit someone else.

Search....Rugher youtube or M&P Shield youtube (new carry gun I am looking at).  Search anything about guns youtube and you will get so many videos of boys and girls with guns.  Happy to show you their guns and tell you all about them.

Here is one to get you started....you will like it.
