"Operation American Spring":Will it Work?

Though not yet covered by the MSM, the internet is abuzz with news and extensive commentary regarding "Operation American Spring" which kicks off May 16th in DC. From conservative sites, news of the operation is being met with a mix of grassroots angst, fervent support, thoughtful reservations, sincere doubts, and even some ridicule as to the efficacy, especially as it relates to the constitutionality and achievement of Phase 2 objectives described below.

Conservative grassroots anxiety has also been expressed regarding the likelihood of Obama's deliberately inciting violence and using that as a pretext for imposing martial law. Others have complained about the operation's being somehow badly timed (whatever that means), inadequately organized, and ill-equipped to handle the exigencies of such a massive and sustained turnout and occupation.

Still others worry that the media will deliberately de-legitimize and demonize the movement and its "lawless participants" (so, what's new)' thus eclipsing the movement's  momentum by undermining public support. Still other detractors have gone out of their way to argue that OAS will do little  more than seriously jeopardize conservative chances for an electoral victory in November. In short, lot's of excuses for doing nothing or more of the same, which is essentially nothing.

As can be expected, the omnipresent trolls are out in force attacking Col. Riley's motivations and impugning his honor--without a shred of proof, of course--and sowing discord and confusion to the extent possible. All very obvious to the trained reader, but to the unwary their venom has some perceptible effect.

Spearheaded by one COL. Riley, the following is the OAS plan:

Phase 1 – Field millions, as many as ten million, patriots who will assemble in a non-violent, physically unarmed (Spiritually/Constitutionally armed), display of unswerving loyalty to the US Constitution and against the incumbent government leadership, in Washington, D.C., with the mission to bring down the existing leadership. Go full-bore, no looking back, steadfast in the mission.
Phase 2 – One million or more of the assembled 10 million must be prepared to stay in D.C. as long as it takes to see Obama, Biden, Reid, McConnell, Boehner, Pelosi, and Attorney General Holder removed from office. The senior republican in the US House of Representatives will become Speaker of the House and the US House of Representatives will elect a temporary President and Vice President of the United States. The U.S. Senate will take action to elect a new majority and minority leader.
As required, the U.S. Congress will execute appropriate legislation to convene new elections or U.S. States will appoint replacements for positions vacated consistent with established constitutional requirements.
Phase 3 – Those with the “principles” of a West, Cruz, Dr. Ben Carson, Lee, DeMint, Paul, Gov Walker, Sessions, Gowdy, Jordan, will comprise a tribunal and assume positions of authority to convene investigations, recommend appropriate charges against politicians and government employees to the new U.S. Attorney General appointed by the new President.
*All actions in Phase 2 and 3 will be consistent with the U.S. Constitution.”

According to the Patriots for America site, considerable planning for all manner of contingencies has been underway for some time now. Nothing in the areas of logistics, self-policing/security, sanitation, medical care, emergency housing, retreat strategies, etc. is being left to chance. And, from all indications, the detailed planning and organization continues unabated and at full speed.

Having followed this for some time now, from my humble perspective, many of the naysayers are simply ignorant of the careful and detailed preparations underway to ensure the operation's success and sustainability. To wit, this isn't a government operation; this is a military-led civilian operation. And having been in a military leadership role myself (Infantry Captain, US Army), I believe we can all be assured of a well-planned, disciplined and well-executed operation from start to finish. Like every such operation, objectives and tactics will be permitted to quickly and efficiently adjust to realities on the ground. For this reason, particular objectives may necessarily change, though the overall strategy to prevail in the end will not.


The short and sweet of it is this: I am of the view that OAS is the only genuine patriotic push-back effort we have going for us at the moment. For me, arm-chair and carping patriots unwilling to get out from behind their keyboards pose a greater threat to patriotic efforts to restore constitutional order and economic sanity than anything OAS participants could possibly perpetrate.

That said, like any patriot worth his salt, I too have questions. A blind follower I have never been. As I have shared with Col. Riley, I sincerely question the attainability of Phase 2 objectives. Why? If the targeted political hacks--who, by the way, are duly elected political hacks-- refuse to resign, then what? Like the plague, an operation should avoid a "what now?" moment at all costs. Nothing could be more debilitating to an operation's momentum and demoralizing to its participants than such a moment of vacillation and uncertainty. Such a moment of ambiguity could easily encourage participants to either retreat with egg on their face or to quickly and ill-advisedly commit to a more forceful and, perhaps, undisciplined approach to removing those politicians from office. And IF the latter is the underlying aim of OAS leaders--and I have no reason to believe that it is--then it really is the beginning of a full-scale people's rebellion. At that point, we will ALL be forced to make a critically important decision for ourselves, our families and our country: yield to a more emboldened ruling class or resist by all means necessary. And though I question the Phase 2 "removal objective", in the final analysis I am confident that the careful planning underway will prevent such a debilitating moment. In the end, the prize, that being the restoration of constitutional order, will be achieved.

My hope--and, in truth, my expectation--is that as the certainty of a massive occupation of DC becomes clearer to both the MSM and to the political elites in DC, the latter who value their hides will unilaterally take corrective actions to assuage participants' fervor and to appease OAS demands before May 16th. In that regard, I'm hopeful that the mere threat of such massive numbers descending on DC will, at the very least, compel the ruling class to TIMELY appoint special prosecutors to investigate Obama's eligibility/fraud/impeachability/possible treason, as well as the Fast and Furious, Benghazi and IRS scandals. Of course a FIRM TIMELINE for completion of those investigations and appropriate and timely convictions, removals and punishment of those found in any way culpable should be insisted upon and fully achieved before OAS agrees to stand down.

I have to say that never in my lifetime could I have ever envisioned such a turbulent and dangerous time in our country. The sincere expressions of grassroots anger, fear and disillusionment are deeper and far more widespread than I could ever have imagined.  Oh, the detractors, that being the subversive trolls and the fair-weather, whimpering and overly-cautious "patriots", are making their presence known on the internet, but their whimpering is consistently and quickly drowned out by a flood of unwavering patriotic fervor unlike anything I've ever seen. So, I predict that the OAS occupation will achieve its patriotic goals this year. But, it can't  happen without a critical mass of patriots stepping up.

Finally, these words of advice from "Lone Survivor" seem especially relevant for patriots everywhere: "Find an excuse to win!" Without a convincing alternative plan for real action to restore constitutional order, excuses for inaction are totally unacceptable and meaningless.

The reality Americans must contend with is that the world is no better the day after President Obama’s State of the Union address than it was the day before. Indeed, if the following rundown on the actual state of our freedoms is anything to go by, the world is a far more dangerous place.

Americans have no protection against police abuse. It is no longer unusual to hear about incidents in which police shoot unarmed individuals first and ask questions later, such as the 16-year-old teenager who skipped school only to be shot by police after they mistook him for a fleeing burglar. Then there was the unarmed black man in Texas “who was pursued and shot in the back of the neck by Austin Police… after failing to properly identify himself and leaving the scene of an unrelated incident.” And who could forget the 19-year-old Seattle woman who was accidentally shot in the leg by police after she refused to show her hands?

Americans are no longer innocent until proven guilty. We once operated under the assumption that you were innocent until proven guilty. Due in large part to rapid advances in technology and a heightened surveillance culture, the burden of proof has been shifted so that the right to be considered innocent until proven guilty has been usurped by a new norm in which all citizens are suspects.

Americans no longer have a right to self-defense. In the wake of various shootings in recent years, “gun control” has become a resounding theme for government officials, with President Obama even going so far as to pledge to reduce gun violence “with or without Congress.” Those advocating gun reform see the Second Amendment’s right to bear arms as applying only to government officials. As a result, even Americans who legally own firearms are being treated with suspicion and, in some cases, undue violence. In one case, a Texas man had his home subjected to a no-knock raid and was shot in his bed after police, attempting to deliver a routine search warrant, learned that he was in legal possession of a firearm.

Americans no longer have a right to private property. If government agents can invade your home, break down your doors, kill your dog, damage your furnishings and terrorize your family, your property is no longer private and secure—it belongs to the government. Likewise, if government officials can fine and arrest you for growing vegetables in your front yard, praying with friends in your living room, installing solar panels on your roof, and raising chickens in your backyard, you’re no longer the owner of your property.

Americans are powerless in the face of militarized police. In early America, citizens were considered equals with law enforcement officials. Authorities were rarely permitted to enter one’s home without permission or in a deceitful manner. And it was not uncommon for police officers to be held personally liable for trespass when they wrongfully invaded a citizen’s home. Unlike today, early Americans could resist arrest when a police officer tried to restrain them without proper justification or a warrant—which the police had to allow citizens to read before arresting them. As police forces across the country continue to be transformed into outposts of the military, with police agencies acquiring military-grade hardware in droves, Americans are finding their once-peaceful communities transformed into military outposts, complete with tanks, weaponry, and other equipment designed for the battlefield.

Americans no longer have a right to bodily integrity. Court rulings undermining the Fourth Amendment and justifying invasive strip searches have left us powerless against police empowered to forcefully draw our blood, strip search us, and probe us intimately. Accounts are on the rise of individuals—men and women—being subjected to what is essentially government-sanctioned rape by police in the course of “routine” traffic stops. Most recently, a New Mexico man was subjected to a 12-hour ordeal of anal probes, X-rays, enemas, and finally a colonoscopy because he allegedly rolled through a stop sign.

Americans no longer have a right to the expectation of privacy. Despite the staggering number of revelations about government spying on Americans’ phone calls, Facebook posts, Twitter tweets, Google searches, emails, bookstore and grocery purchases, bank statements, commuter toll records, etc., Congress, the president and the courts have done little to nothing to counteract these abuses. Instead, they seem determined to accustom us to life in this electronic concentration camp.

Americans no longer have a representative government. We have moved beyond the era of representative government and entered a new age, let’s call it the age of authoritarianism. History may show that from this point forward, we will have left behind any semblance of constitutional government and entered into a militaristic state where all citizens are suspects and security trumps freedom.

Yes, the world is a far more dangerous place than it was a year ago. What the president failed to mention in his State of the Union address, however (and what I document in my book A Government of Wolves: The Emerging American Police State), is the fact that it’s the government that poses the gravest threat to our freedoms and way of life, and no amount of politicking, parsing or pandering will change that.

The Poison of Postmodern Lying: ‘When truth is relative, political expediency becomes the truth’!-Posted on National Review Online-By Victor Davis Hanson-On January 30, 2014:

AAll presidents have, at one time or another, fudged on the truth. Most politicians pad their résumés and airbrush away their sins. But what is new about political lying is the present notion that lies are not necessarily lies anymore — a reflection of the relativism that infects our entire culture.

Postmodernism (the cultural fad “after modernism”) went well beyond questioning norms and rules. It attacked the very idea of having any rules at all. Postmodernist relativists claimed that things like “truth” were mere fictions to preserve elite privilege. Unfortunately, bad ideas like that have a habit of poisoning an entire society — and now they have.

Texas gubernatorial candidate Wendy Davis was recently caught fabricating her own autobiography. She exaggerated her earlier ordeals, lied about the age at which she divorced, and was untruthful about how she paid for her Harvard Law School education.

When caught, Davis did not apologize for lying. Instead, she lamely offered that “my language should be tighter.” Apparently, only old fogies still believe in truth and falsehood — period. In contrast, Davis knows that promoting a progressive feminist agenda is “truth,” and she only needs to be “tighter” about her fabrications to neutralize her reactionary critics.

Massachusetts senator Elizabeth Warren for years falsely claimed that she was a Native American. That fabricated ancestry proved useful in upping her career trajectory. When pressed about her racial background during her 2012 campaign, the Harvard law professor denied any deliberate misrepresentation and went on to be elected. Such progressive crusaders assume that they serve the greater truth of social change.

In the gospel of postmodern relativism, what did it matter if the president of the United States promised that Obamacare would not alter existing health-care plans when it was clear that it would? Instead, the good intentions of universal health care are the only truth that matters.

For that matter, the “law” that requires a president to enforce legislation passed by Congress is likewise a construct. If ignoring bothersome laws — whether the individual mandate and timetable of Obamacare, or federal immigration law — serves a greater social justice, then such dereliction also becomes “truth.” Blindly enforcing legalistic details of the law that are deemed no longer in the interest of the people would be the real lie, or so the reasoning goes.

Without notions of objective truth there can never be lies, just competing narratives and discourses. Stories that supposedly serve the noble majority are true; those that supposedly don’t become lies — the facts are irrelevant. When Senator Hillary Clinton in 2007 heard the factual details of the successful Iraq surge as related by General David Petraeus, she said they required a “suspension of disbelief.” In her postmodern sensibility, fighting an unpopular war was a lie, but opposing it was the truth — and the actual metrics for whether the surge was working or not were simply an irrelevant narrative.

Later, as secretary of state, Clinton dismissed the circumstances surrounding the murders in Benghazi with the callous exclamation, “What difference does it make?” She had a postmodern point. If President Obama, then–United Nations ambassador Susan Rice, and Clinton herself all wrongly and deliberately assured the nation that a politically incorrect video had triggered the attacks in Benghazi, were they not on the right side of opposing religious bias and helping a progressive president to be reelected? How could that good intention be a lie?

If Director of National Intelligence James Clapper lied under oath to Congress that the National Security Agency does not snoop on American citizens, how can that be perjury if Clapper’s goal was to silence Obama’s right-wing critics? For that matter, if Clapper wanted to show tolerance for Islamists, how could it be a lie when he testified earlier that the radical Muslim Brotherhood was “largely secular”?

By what arbitrary rules can one claim that “Piss Christ” or other provocative anti-Christian art is blasphemous or inferior if its apparent purpose is to lessen the influence of a purportedly pernicious religion? Was Obama’s autobiography truth or fiction, or something in between — as hinted by the president himself when he was caught in untruths and then backed away from some of his stories, claiming they were now just “composites”?

Part of old America still abides by absolute truth and falsity. A door is either hung plumb or not. The calibrations of the Atlas rocket either are accurate and it takes off or inaccurate and it blows up. Noble intentions cannot make prime numbers like five or seven divisible.

But outside of math and science, whose natural truth man so far cannot impugn, almost everything else in America has become “it depends.” Admissions, hiring, evaluations, autobiographies, and the statements of politicians and government officials all become truthful if they serve the correct cause — and damn any reactionary discrepancies.  

To paraphrase George Orwell, everything is relative, but some things are more relative than others.

Remember that spiky-haired blonde lady fitness guru all over TV years ago? Her famous line was “Stop the insanity!” As a common sense thinking black conservative, I offer the same clarion call to fellow black Americans, “Stop the insanity!” Why do you continue sleeping with the enemy; voting for liberal Democrats whose policies imply that you are inferior, stupid and culturally immoral?

When the NAACP and Democrats claim that requiring a photo ID disenfranchises blacks, such implies we are stupid. For the life of me I do not understand why millions of blacks are not highly insulted by this absurd claim. Do blacks fly? Do blacks drive cars? Do blacks cash checks?

When Democrats and liberals accept over 70% out-of-wedlock births and fatherless households as a cultural norm in the black community, I am offended. And yet, I am called a sellout.

Liberal Democrats policies and programs have destroyed the black family and continue to devastate the black community. Meanwhile, blacks vote monolithic for Democrats and politically beat up anyone, black or white, who offers common sense solutions. For crying out loud, stop the insanity!

God forbid that a black person dare to think outside of the liberals' we-be-simpleminded-blacks-in-need-of “gov-ment”-intervention-to-survive box. Blacks becoming successful the old fashion way, by earning it, does not cut it with Democrats and liberals. Liberal media and Democrats grab such uppity blacks by their afros and politically drag their black derrieres kicking and screaming back to the liberal Democrat plantation.

There, such blacks are strung up in the public square with their naked backs exposed; made an example for any other conservative leaning blacks contemplating their escape. Beaten, battered and broken black conservatives are flogged within an inch of their political life with countless articles and operative pundits calling them a stupid n*****, Uncle Tom and traitor to their race.

A prime example of a black overlord of the Democrat liberal plantation attempting to rein in a black escapee is North Carolina NAACP Chapter President Rev. William Barber. Black race-baiters typically use Black History Month and Martin Luther King Day to trash America for purposes of extortion.

In celebration of MLK Day, Rev. Barber called black conservative and Tea Party American Senator Tim Scott a puppet, saying, “A ventriloquist can always find a good dummy.”

Senator Scott is about applying common sense solutions to issues plaguing our country. Thus, once again, any black who does not view themselves as a victim of an eternally racist white America, entitled and in need of lowered standards and expectations is a dummy; a tool of white Republicans – a stupid self-loathing n*****. This is not an exaggeration.

I have been called these names and worse by Democrats and liberals for many years every time I suggest that blacks stop having babies out of wedlock, stop dropping out of school, stopping killing each other, stop blaming whitey and assume personal responsibility for their lives. Too me, this is true Black Empowerment.

I do not know what it is going to take for black America to see the light; to realize the betrayal of a majority of the modern civil rights coalition. If these so-called advocates truly gave a hoot about blacks, they would celebrate extraordinary black conservative achievers such as former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas and businessman extraordinaire Herman Cain. These blacks should be held high for black youths to see what can be achieved in the greatest land of opportunity on the planet via education, hard work and right choices.

And yet, these blacks are despised by white liberals and black civil rights leaders. Why? In a nutshell these blacks nuke the Democrats and liberals entitlement and big government narrative.

So while black America believes white conservative Republicans are burning the midnight oil plotting ways to keep blacks down, Democrats and liberals are the ones keeping them enslaved.

With the liberal mainstream media in the Democrats' back pocket as complicit liberal plantation gate keepers, I will continue praying for divine intervention while pounding on the plantation master's door. Let my people go! My fellow black Americans, it truly is time to stop the insanity.

As the United States geared up for Super Bowl Sunday, leaders from Israel’s American football community arrived in New York to drum up support for the iconic sport in the Holy Land.

Their goal? To raise $400,000 to fund training facilities and the hiring of new coaches needed for the formation of an Israeli national tackle football team.

“We decided to do it at this time because of the Super Bowl , because we thought there would be a great buzz about football, and we wanted to interest American Jews,” Steve Leibowitz, President of American Football in Israel told The Algemeiner in an interview.

Once formed, Leibowitz said, Team Israel will need to start right from the bottom and make its way from there. “We will start at level C and eventually we work our way up and play against some of the best teams in Europe, and eventually the world, once we get to be good enough.”

So far the venture has attracted some big names. Business magnate and owner of the New England Patriots, Robert Kraft, has long been a backer of football in Israel and paid for the construction of a Jerusalem stadium which was named for the Kraft family. At an intimate gathering at his office on Friday morning, hedge fund billionaire Henry Swieca urged attendees to get behind the project. Besides Kraft, other Jewish team owners have also shown interest, although they are not yet ready to publicize their involvement, Leibowitz said.

American Football’s journey in Israel began in 1989 when Leibowitz decided to create a touch football league in Jerusalem. Launched with just 8 teams, there are now 5 leagues in both flag and tackle football including a women’s league and a high school league with 15 teams each and a men’s league with 40 teams. The tackle football league now has 11 teams.

American football in Israel is recognized as the country’s official football administration by the Ministry of Culture and Sport and hosts an annual Israel Bowl which is aired on Israeli TV.

In flag football the country is already quite advanced. Its women’s team ranks sixth worldwide, and its men rank fifth. “We have been competing in international competition on a world and a European level for about a dozen years,” Leibowitz said.

Later this year, Israel will play host to the Senior World Championships for flag football in Jerusalem in what Leibowitz said will be  “the biggest international championship ever held in Israel in any sport.”

“Teams from about 20 different countries will be coming to our championship,” which will run from August 13th to the 15th. “It will be at venues all over Jerusalem. Kraft [stadium] will be the host venue and we will have activities in the evening, it will be an Olympic Village type atmosphere,” Leibowitz said.

It took great effort for Israel to be awarded the right to host, and Israeli football will face some of the same Arab boycott challenges that other Israeli sports have faced in the international arena. Kuwait, a member of the International Football Association, will not be attending. Turkey however, will attend.

Within Israel however, football has been a uniting factor. In 2011, David Hartstein, an Austin, Texas-based documentary filmmaker captured footage of the league in action, showing Arab Christian, Arab Muslim and Jewish players of all stripes playing together, displaying a common love of the game.

“I hate this settler,” one Arab player says to his Israeli coach, in a scene caught on camera. “It’s true, I stole his land,” the Israeli responds. The men both laugh, and then head back to playing the game.

It was the explosion of flag football’s popularity in Israel that led Leibowitz to conclude that the country was ready for the next level.

“Now we feel we have players that have been playing the game for a number of years,” he said. The decision to field the international team was made a year ago, and Israel National Team Coach, Yonah Mishaan, was hired three months ago.

“I would call it a passion, I have been doing it for 25 years,” Leibowitz said, speaking to The Algemeiner just minutes before NFL Super Bowl XLVIII was set to start. “When the game begins I am a different person.”

The male doctor’s eyesight was only saved by the prompt action of prison officers. Two guards, who were handcuffed to the killer by short chains, yanked Adebowale’s arm away with just inches to spare.

Armed police, who were outside the room, rushed in and one pulled a Taser gun and threatened to shoot. The prison officers, fearing they would be hit by the 50,000-volt weapon, persuaded them to hold fire. Adebowale was finally restrained by his prison guards and a dozen police officers.

A source revealed: “The doctor came within a whisker of losing an eye. He had been told not to give Adebowale a pen because it was feared he would use it as a weapon. “However, he ignored the advice and insisted he needed patient consent before any medical intervention.

“Adebowale only had about four inches of movement due to being restrained by the chains. But as soon as he got the pen he launched himself at the doctor like a madman.  The incident happened at the hospital in Whitechapel, east London, after Adebowale developed an infection and high temperature due to his injuries.

Today in our country there are people that do everything they can to keep any part of Jesus Christ from being seen. Basically you can worship anything else that can be mentioned and seemingly it will be well advertised by the media and even excepted by those that are in authority.

Praying at our town council meetings all the way up to the white house is expressly prohibited and if it is done it cannot be in Jesus name. Why is this?

In(Acts 5: 34-39 we hear from a man called Gamaliel. He is a man of the law and had a reputation of all the people. What he told them is that if what was be done was of man it would come to naught, but if be of God they could not stop it anyway.

People that are born-again are on the winning side. The victory has already been won, we just have to fight the battles and stand for what is truth even if the world thinks they are winning. The reason we have to fight the battles is to help our enemies to see what we have already seen. They are blind to the truth and can't see that the very prayers that they block is a gift from us to them. Any time truth is put forth or righteousness is sought for a battle will come and the more it is put forth , the stronger the battles.

Common sense would say to allow every one or anyone that wanted to pray, to pray. Just lay out a schedule and allow one person each meeting to pray in any bodies name they choose, even born-again believers, in Jesus Name. Why not? If it is nothing to Him what harm can it do? We could even go so far as to mandate the President start the State of the Union address of with a word of Prayer and pray that prayer to any god he chooses. If we allow that we might even find out what god he truly worships. Hum! Now that's an idea! Do you think we could trust our leadership to be honest about that? The answer to that is no, our leaders know that if they allow that they have to tell the truth. Their constituents who they are and therefore they can't lie and if they have to reveal their true heart in a spiritual sense other won't like them so to them it's better to stay quiet about it. If the Tea Party ever becomes a political party that has a platform we should make prayer and who any person worships a part of that platform. This would not be to decide or force any one to believe like any of us do  but to know the inner being of who we will be voting. For instance, we could ask a man or woman straight, do you believe in Jesus Christ and accept Him as your personal. if his or her answer then we can expect that person to pray in His name. If he says he is an atheist then we will not expect that person to pray at all although we might like what he stands for on all other things and could follow his leadership as long as he allowed each of us to worship as we please.

The reason that most of our leaders want to stay away from Jesus Christ and prayer of any kind is because they know just how much power the Holy Spirit has. They don't want to open the door for anyone because if they do that door might be opened to the Spirit of God as well. That power has the  ability to change the world if born-again believers ever put it to work, believe it or not.

To make to point we could do an experiment. We could put five differ religions on a stage and show them to all this country, only one of them being a born-again believer that is filled with God's Spirit. Each person has five minutes to speak and say anything they choose about the god they worship. When the born-again believer speaks under the inspiration of God's Spirit, in Jesus Name the confident level and the power of that Spirit will change hearts, even if it's not known until eternity and that's really all that matters.

Common sense and wisdom has been hid for way to long. It's probably in abundant supply, just not in the right places. One thing for sure, you can't educate it into any person or spend enough money to buy it. An smart man once said, and I quote( you can buy and education, but you can't buy experience.) You forget about the educated, that is the ones with no common sense and wisdom, just look and find someone that has been to the school of hard knocks, and those that knows what it is to have to humble themselves and ask for help with things that can't handle, sometimes even down on their knees. That will be where you find true leaders that will put this country back on the right foundation.

Maybe we need to be the first ones to get down on our knees and pray, we could start by saying, Lord we can't fix this, it's out of our hand, please, you lead us and guide us, show us the way.

The next thing to do is listen, when He speaks to your heart, MOVE IN THE DIRECTION HE LEADS......

Nearly 30 years after the Immigration Reform and Control Act (IRCA) of 1986 was signed into law by President Reagan, ostensibly to fix the illegal alien problem once and for all, America begins 2014 embroiled in yet another bitter, divisive, gut-wrenching  debate over the fate of tens of millions of illegals who reside here unlawfully.

These tens of millions of uninvited and unwelcome peoples have settled here despite IRCA and despite the terrorist attack of 9/11 which should have caused our leaders to forcibly close US borders to unlawful entry.

As US lawmakers struggle to find answers to this continuing problem, our leaders should look south to our troubled neighbors in Mexico, where some of the toughest, no-nonsense immigration laws in the world are on the books.

As reported at the reference, Mexico’s immigration laws, if enforced, could help solve America’s illegal alien problem, once and for all.

MEXICO’S GENERAL LAW OF POPULATION:

• Mexico welcomes only foreigners who will be useful to Mexican society:

- Foreigners are admitted into Mexico “according to their possibilities of contributing to national progress.” (Article 32)
- Immigration officials must “ensure” that “immigrants will be useful elements for the country and that they have the necessary funds for their sustenance” and for their dependents. (Article 34)
- Foreigners may be barred from the country if their presence upsets “the equilibrium of the national demographics,” when foreigners are deemed detrimental to “economic or national interests,” when they do not behave like good citizens in their own country, when they have broken Mexican laws, and when “they are not found to be physically or mentally healthy.” (Article 37)
- The Secretary of Governance may “suspend or prohibit the admission of foreigners when he determines it to be in the national interest.” (Article 38)

• Mexican authorities must keep track of every single person in the country:

- Federal, local and municipal police must cooperate with federal immigration authorities upon request, i.e., to assist in the arrests of illegal immigrants. (Article 73)
- A National Population Registry keeps track of “every single individual who comprises the population of the country,” and verifies each individual’s identity. (Articles 85 and 86)
- A national Catalog of Foreigners tracks foreign tourists and immigrants (Article 87), and assigns each individual with a unique tracking number (Article 91).

• Foreigners with fake papers, or who enter the country under false pretenses, may be imprisoned:

- Foreigners with fake immigration papers may be fined or imprisoned. (Article 116)
- Foreigners who sign government documents “with a signature that is false or different from that which he normally uses” are subject to fine and imprisonment. (Article 116)

• Foreigners who fail to obey the rules will be fined, deported, and/or imprisoned as felons:

- Foreigners who fail to obey a deportation order are to be punished. (Article 117)
- Foreigners who are deported from Mexico and attempt to re-enter the country without authorization can be imprisoned for up to 10 years. (Article 118)
- Foreigners who violate the terms of their visa may be sentenced to up to six years in prison (Articles 119, 120 and 121). Foreigners who misrepresent the terms of their visa while in Mexico — such as working with out a permit — can also be imprisoned.

• Under Mexican law, illegal immigration is a felony. The General Law on Population says,

- “A penalty of up to two years in prison and a fine of three hundred to five thousand pesos will be imposed on the foreigner who enters the country illegally.” (Article 123)
- Foreigners with legal immigration problems may be deported from Mexico instead of being imprisoned. (Article 125)
- Foreigners who “attempt against national sovereignty or security” will be deported. (Article 126)

• Mexicans who help illegal aliens enter the country are themselves considered criminals under the law:

- A Mexican who marries a foreigner with the sole objective of helping the foreigner live in the country is subject to up to five years in prison. (Article 127)
- Shipping and airline companies that bring undocumented foreigners into Mexico will be fined. (Article 132)

MEXICO’S CONSTITUTION:[2][4]

Mexico’s Constitution
(English translation)


• The Mexican constitution expressly forbids non-citizens to participate in the country’s political life.
Non-citizens are forbidden to participate in demonstrations or express opinions in public about domestic politics. Article 9 states, “only citizens of the Republic may do so to take part in the political affairs of the country.” Article 33 is unambiguous: “Foreigners may not in any way participate in the political affairs of the country.”

• The Mexican constitution denies fundamental property rights to foreigners.
If foreigners wish to have certain property rights, they must renounce the protection of their own governments or risk confiscation. Foreigners are forbidden to own land in Mexico within 100 kilometers of land borders or within 50 kilometers of the coast.


Article 27 states, “Only Mexicans by birth or naturalization and Mexican companies have the right to acquire ownership of lands, waters, and their appurtenances, or to obtain concessions for the exploitation of mines or of waters. The State may grant the same right to foreigners, provided they agree before the Ministry of Foreign Relations to consider themselves as nationals in respect to such property, and bind themselves not to invoke the protection of their governments in matters relating thereto; under penalty, in case of noncompliance with this agreement, of forfeiture of the property acquired to the Nation. Under no circumstances may foreigners acquire direct ownership of lands or waters within a zone of one hundred kilometers along the frontiers and of fifty kilometers along the shores of the country.” (Emphasis added)

• The Mexican constitution denies equal employment rights to immigrants, even legal
ones, in the public sector.

“Mexicans shall have priority over foreigners under equality of circumstances for all classes of concessions and for all employment, positions, or commissions of the Government in which the status of citizenship is not indispensable. In time of peace no foreigner can serve in the Army nor in the police or public security forces.” (Article 32)

• The Mexican constitution guarantees that immigrants will never be treated as real Mexican citizens, even if they are legally naturalized.
Article 32 bans foreigners, immigrants, and even naturalized citizens of Mexico from serving as military officers, Mexican-flagged ship and airline crew, and chiefs of seaports and airports:

“In order to belong to the National Navy or the Air Force, and to discharge any office or commission, it is required to be a Mexican by birth. This same status is indispensable for captains, pilots, masters, engineers, mechanics, and in general, for all personnel of the crew of any vessel or airship protected by the Mexican merchant flag or insignia. It is also necessary to be Mexican by birth to discharge the position of captain of the port and all services of practique and airport commandant, as well as all functions of customs agent in the Republic.”

• An immigrant who becomes a naturalized Mexican citizen can be stripped of his Mexican citizenship if he lives again in the country of his origin for more than five years, under Article 37. Mexican-born citizens risk no such loss.

• Foreign-born, naturalized Mexican citizens may not become federal lawmakers (Article 55), cabinet secretaries (Article 91) or supreme court justices (Article 95).

• The president of Mexico must be a Mexican citizen by birth AND his parents must also be Mexican-born citizens (Article 82), thus giving secondary status to Mexican-born citizens born of immigrants.

• The Mexican constitution singles out “undesirable aliens.” Article 11 guarantees federal protection against “undesirable aliens resident in the country.”

• The Mexican constitution provides the right of private individuals to make citizen’s arrests.
Article 16 states, “in cases of flagrante delicto, any person may arrest the offender and his accomplices, turning them over without delay to the nearest authorities.” Therefore, the Mexican constitution appears to grant Mexican citizens the right to arrest illegal aliens and hand them over to police for prosecution.

• The Mexican constitution states that foreigners may be expelled for any reason and without due process.
According to Article 33, “the Federal Executive shall have the exclusive power to compel any foreigner whose remaining he may deem inexpedient to abandon the national territory immediately and without the necessity of previous legal action.”



Bottom Line: American citizens deserve to be protected from foreign invasions similar to the protections that Mexico uses to protect its citizens.

As the Republican party continues to abandon the American people by morphing into a far-left wing of the Democrat Party on issues like immigration, many important questions about illegals are not being asked, to the potential detriment of American citizens.

For example, conventional wisdom(?) is that there are 11 million illegals in America. That number has been bandied about for years, with little or no substantiation.

However, if the government’s ability to estimate is anything as pathetic as we have seen with Obamacare, one can reasonably expect that there are many, many more illegals here than the Democrats are claiming.

Thus, the fiscal, social, and cultural impact of amnesty may very well be several times more damaging that is being stated.

Then, the question not being asked is: Who in the hell are these people?

Migrating to America (legally) is, and should be, a long, drawn-out procedure meant to protect the interests of American citizens. It involves more than simply jumping a fence and heading north in pursuit of free health care, education, food stamps and other handouts paid for by US taxpayers.

Legal immigration means enduring rigorous hurdles like background checks to detect a criminal background or possible ties to terrorists.

It means medical examinations to detect diseases still prevalent in third-world nations, but long since eradicated here, and

It means proof of financial solvency so as to prevent newcomers from becoming a burden on U.S. taxpayers.

Those who have jumped the fence into America in order to avoid our immigration checks are not immigrants, and are not deserving of amnesty..

In truth, people who come here illegally leave America vulnerable to undetected crime, terrorism, disease, and financial devastation. And they have no legal or moral justification for being here.

Bottom Line: Before even considering amnesty, our government needs to determine how many illegals are here and what medical, criminal, financial, and social questions must be answered before anyone is allowed to bypass the rule of law.
