“When Sen. Barack Obama, a few days before his inauguration as our 44^th President, promised an adoring crowd “the fundamental transformation of the United States of America,” few realized that he was not speaking merely of himself or of his own role as the country’s incoming chief executive.  Behind the avatar of “hope and change” lay a left-wing “progressive” movement waiting to come to power.

At first, we knew very little about this clandestine “Red Army,” whose goal is the transformation of America into a socialist system.  As a matter of strategy, the “progressives” had quietly and patiently perfected the art of creating innocuous-sounding front groups, and the promotion of its policies in the guise of moderation and in the rhetoric of modest-sounding social ideals.  Before the candidacy of Obama—whose entire political career has been spent under the tutelage of the progressives, including some of its leading figures—this radical network had already succeeded over the decades in infiltrating major institutions of American power.  But with his election to the presidency, it reached the highest levels of our government.

Along the way, the progressives hijacked an entire spectrum of important social causes, from feminism and race relations to environmental and antiwar activism, each of which became subordinated to an agenda having very little to do with the actual cause at hand and everything to do with the underlying agenda of the radical reconstruction of our society.

This Red Army has taken over not merely the largest worker unions, but also the mainstream of the Democratic Party.  It has deeply penetrated the United States Congress, forming one of the most powerful caucuses on Capitol Hill.  Key legislation, including President Obama’s health care and stimulus bills, was crafted by the network’s various branches—operating both inside and outside the government.  The same network is now pushing other major measures, including defense, economic and immigration policies.

Like a conventional army, the progressive Red Army is an organized network consisting of numerous branches and divisions, deploying an appropriate battalion for a specific goal or battle at hand.  Many of these activists are openly hateful of America, or at least of the American capitalist system, including its basic document and compact, the United States Constitution.  Many others, to be fair, genuinely love this country, while believing that socialism would pave the road to a better society.  Still others are merely along for the ride, and pursue personal power and profit in the service of a new order.

While this radical network played a major part in the nomination and election of Barack Obama, it runs far deeper than the slew of “czars” in the Obama administration or the extremist personalities demonstrably tied to our President.  It is much larger than Obama himself, and will far outlast however many months of the Obama presidency yet remain.  Indeed, it is already planning how to advance its agenda following the 2012 elections, regardless of which candidate is victorious.

This Red Army shows no signs of relenting.  With the dramatic erosion of his poll numbers and the ascension of Republicans in the 112^th Congress, Obama’s mandate for change may have for the time being run thin.  But these radical groups demonstrate an uncanny ability to wait patiently, like sleeper cells, for years or even decades, for the next opportunity to push their nefarious agenda while updating and perfecting the details of their well-planned, multilayered assault.

My co-author, Brenda J. Elliott, and I, in our previous book, The Manchurian President, documented President Obama’s extremist ties.  Our first book-length effort focused on unmasking Barack Obama and his radical associations.  But even before its publication, as we continued to delve into Obama’s administration, it became clear that we were uncovering a larger world of radical organizations, which are not only the force behind Obama’s “fundamental transformation of America” but are also now so well-entrenched in the institutions of American power that their influence can hardly be overstated.  In other words, in peeling off the layers of the onion that is the radical network, Brenda and I have unearthed something much larger and far more disturbing than even we, as seasoned political observers, could have anticipated.

We must take up the extremely loaded question of conspiracy.  Conspiracy is a very serious offense in the U.S. legal system, and of course this applies to conspiracy to commit a crime.  Yet the Red Army of which we write employs mostly legal means to pursue its radical agenda.  In fact, the largest part of its nefarious genius lies precisely in its employment of legal and quasi-legal stratagems to “fundamentally transform,” and even overthrow, the American system.

There is a conspiracy—albeit a mostly legal one—behind Obama’s promised “fundamental transformation of America.”  It is the radical socialist network behind the President that relentlessly pushes this agenda.  What we call the Red Army has devised the means to seize enormous instruments of political, economic and cultural power in our country, from the very presidency itself on down.

To be sure, the American people have begun awakening from their slumber, rousing from their acquiescence, and seem eager to reclaim their great, free and prosperous nation from this clutch of radical operatives.  But in order to prevail, in order to save our nation from the designs of these operatives, we must first comprehend—and then defeat—the radical network that has seized the reins of American power.”

Obama feels he doesn't need congress to pass laws and all he has to do is issue executive orders.

Obama care was passed and no one knew what was in it! He offers a 27,000 page bill and expects it to be passed in two weeks and he bribes 6 senators to pass it!

He starts his own 2 week war and extends it to 7  months and now all we have to do is wait for the Muslin Brotherhood to take over as in Egypt!

He offers a jobs plan which favors only his voting constituents such as the violent union leaders lke Trumka. So he gets about 1.5 million public temporary  jobs but nothing for the 12.5 unemployed in the private sector.

Government can not run anything well and the reason is that no one stands to loose a dime if the government is run poorly.

“Democratic California Sen. Dianne Feinstein told a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing that lax gun control laws, not Obama administration malfeasance within the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (BATF), was the real problem uncovered by Operation Fast and Furious.

“My concern, Mr. Chairman, is there’s been a lot said about Fast and Furious, and perhaps mistakes were made, but I think this hunt for blame doesn’t really speak about the problem,” Feinstein said during the Tuesday hearing. “And the problem is, anybody can walk in and buy anything, .50-caliber weapons, sniper weapons, buy them in large amounts, and send them down to Mexico. So, the question really becomes, what do we do about this?”

“I’ve been here 18 years,” Feinstein continued. “I’ve watched the BATF get beaten up at every turn on the road. And, candidly, it’s just not right.”

After the hearing, Feinstein’s staff refused to answer when The Daily Caller asked how gun control laws would have prevented the abuses in Operation Fast and Furious when the law enforcement agents responsible for upholding gun laws were the individuals giving the weapons to drug cartels.

They also refused to say whether the Sen. Feinstein wanted to hold Obama administration officials accountable for shipping guns into Mexico, for Border Patrol agent Brian Terry’s murder, or for the murders of countless Mexican citizens directly resulting from the failed gun-walking program.

When TheDC asked if Sen. Feinstein cared about the program’s connections to the murder of Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent Jaime Zapata, Feinstein’s spokesman pointed to a comment she made during a March 9, 2011 hearing. Then, Feinstein did not mention any relationship between the murder and Operation Fast and Furious.

House oversight committee chairman Rep. Darrell Issa recently indicated that Attorney General Eric Holder may be withholding more information about Zapata’s murder.

During Tuesday’s hearing, Sen. Feinstein advocated for Operation Fast and Furious as a springboard from which to advocate for gun control laws, including national databases and government-controlled firearms registration. She argued that such laws would prevent future programs like Fast and Furious from reaching maturity.

“So, the question comes, what can we do?,” Feinstein asked Assistant Attorney General Lanny Breuer, a hearing witness. “And, I’d really rather concentrate on the constructive, rather than other things, so the questions comes: Do you believe that, if there were some form of registration when you purchase these firearms, that that would make a difference?”

Breuer, a high-ranking Obama administration official who is notable for his willingness to accept some responsibilityfor the scandal, said it would.

“Senator, we’re talking today about transnational organized crime,” Breuer said, ”and your leadership, and the chairman’s, and other senators’ shows that information — information — is the tool we need to challenge and defeat organized crime.”

“I know others disagree,” Feinstein added, “but we have very lax laws when it comes to guns and I think, to some extent, this influences BATF as to whether they have political support or not,” Feinstein said. “But, I think these numbers are shocking — and when you know the number of deaths these guns have caused, used by cartels against victims, it’s literally up in the tens of thousands.”

According to the Obama administration’s BATF, 70 percent of weapons recovered in Mexico come from the United States. Feinstein insisted those numbers are a “very deep concern for me.”

Sen. Chuck Grassley, Iowa Republican, contested the weapons-trafficking statistics Feinstein and Breuer cited, arguing that they appear to make the U.S. appear to be a more rampant source of illicit firearms than is actually the case. Grassley has been challenging those statistics since June, when he wrote a letter to then-acting BATF director Ken Melson.

“I am concerned that the selective release of certain statistical data without further clarification and categorization may inaccurately reflect the scope and source of the problem of firearms in Mexico and the DTO [drug trafficking organization] violence,” Grassley wrote to Melson in June.

At least 29 members of Congress have now called on Attorney General Eric Holder to resign over Operation Fast and Furious. With a Tuesday tweet, North Carolina Rep. Walter Jones became the latest, writing: “It’s time for Eric Holder to go!”

Established in 1988 (under the name “Occupied Land Fund”) by Shukri Abu Baker, Mohammad El-Mezain andGhassan Elashi, the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development (HLF) was a non-profit, tax-exempt, charitable trust headquartered in Richardson, Texas. It also maintained branch offices in New Jersey, California, and Illinois. Its name change took place in 1992.

Calling itself America’s largest Islamic charity, HLF purported to be a source of help for needy Palestinian Muslims in Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, and the Palestinian Authority (PA). “Our mission,” stated its website, “is to find and implement practical solutions for human suffering through humanitarian programs that impact the lives of the disadvantaged, disinherited, and displaced peoples suffering from man-made and natural disasters.” In reality, however, the Foundation was a major financier of the terrorist organization Hamas.

In its earliest days, HLF received a $200,000 cash infusion from Ghassan Elashi’s brother-in-law Musa Abu Marzook, the Hamas senior political leader and Virginia resident who would be deported in 1997 for his involvement in six terror attacks in Israel that killed 47 people. By 1989, HLF had already sent nearly $1 million to Marzook and Hamas co-founder Ahmed Yassin (to the latter through an account called the Islamic Center of Gaza—another ostensibly charitable entity used by Yassin to finance Hamas activities).

HLF’s precursor, the Occupied Land Fund, was named in a May 1991 Muslim Brotherhood document—titled “An Explanatory Memorandum on the General Strategic Goal for the Group in North America”—as one of the Brotherhood’s 29 likeminded “organizations of our friends” that shared the common goal of destroying America and turning it into a Muslim nation. These “friends” were identified by the Brotherhood as groups that could help teach Muslims “that their work in America is a kind of grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and ‘sabotaging’ its miserable house by their hands ... so that ... God’s religion [Islam] is made victorious over all other religions.”

Suspicious of its terrorist ties, U.S. federal authorities began monitoring the Holy Land Foundation in 1996. On September 5, 2001, federal anti-terrorism agents raided InfoCom Corporation, the company that ran the HLF website. According to defectors from the conspiracy, the HLF web server was used also by the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR), the Islamic Society of North America, the Muslim Students’ Association of the U.S. and Canada, the Islamic Circle of North America, the Islamic Association for Palestine, and American Muslims for Jerusalem. As Islam scholar Stephen Schwartz writes, “All these organizations drew from the common financial and technical pool at HLF. All shared a single administrative and technical contact for the maintenance of the web server. They had been erected as political shells around the Hamas hydra-head represented by HLF.” (Support for Hamas had become illegalin 1995 as the result of an executive order by President Bill Clinton and subsequent congressional action.)

On December 4, 2001, the Bush administration seized all HLF assets and records because of its Hamas connections. Said President Bush at the time: “Hamas has obtained much of the money that it pays for murder abroad right here in the United States, money originally raised by the Holy Land Foundation. The Holy Land Foundation ... raised $13 million from people in America last year. … Money raised by the Holy Land Foundation is used by Hamas to support schools and indoctrinate children to grow up into suicide bombers. [It] is also used by Hamas to recruit suicide bombers and to support their families.” 

In July 2004, federal authorities arrested five former HLF leaders: Shukri Abu Baker (HLF’s co-founder and former President and Chief Executive); Ghassan Elashi (HLF’s co-founder and former Board Chairman and Treasurer); Mohammed El-Mezain (HLF’s co-founder and former Board Chairman); Mufid Abdulqader (the half-brother of Hamas’s supreme political leader, Khaled Mashal); and Abdulraham Odeh (HLF’s former New Jersey representative). In a 42-count indictment, these individuals were charged with providing material support for Hamas terrorists to the tune of $12.4 million over a six-year period, and more than $57 million since the late 1988. Two more ex-officials of HLF, Haitham Maghawri and Akram Mishal, managed to escape U.S. jurisdiction and are considered to be fugitives.

According to the indictment, HLF tried to hide its terrorist-financing activities from American law-enforcement by making a few small contributions to innocuous, non-Palestinian entities while reserving the vast majority of its funds for terrorists. As Shukri Abu Baker told his underlings: “We can give $100,000 to the Islamists and $5,000 to the others.” Another HLF program, masquerading as charitable support for needy families and orphans in Palestinian territories, is said to have channeled money to families whose relatives had been killed or captured while waging jihad; some of them were suicide bombers.

In December 2006, two openly pro-Castro organizations—the Humanitarian Law Project and the Center for Constitutional Rights—jointly petitioned a federal judge to dismiss many of the charges brought against HLF.

On July 23, 2007, HLF’s leaders went on trial. Seven principal individuals were charged with twelve counts of providing “material support and resources” to a foreign terrorist organization. Additionally, they faced thirteen counts of money laundering and thirteen counts of breaching the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA), which prohibits transactions that threaten American national security. Along with the seven named defendants, the government released a list of approximately 300 “unindicted co-conspirators” and “joint venturers.”

Among the unindicted co-conspirators were groups such as Hamas, the Council on American-Islamic Relations, INFOCOM, the Islamic Society of North America, the Muslim Arab Youth Association, the Islamic Association for Palestine, the United Association for Studies and Research, and the North American Islamic Trust. The list also included many individuals affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood and/or Hamas. Among these were Omar Ahmad, Abdallah Azzam, Yousef al-Qaradawi, Mohammad Jaghlit, Abdurahman Alamoudi, Jamal Badawi, Abdel Aziz Rantisi,Ahmed Yassin, and Mousa Abu Marzook. Thirty-nine directors, employees and representatives of HLF were also named.

On October 22, 2007, after a two-month trial and nineteen days of jury deliberation, Judge A. Joe Fish declared a mistrial because the jury had been unable to deliver unanimous verdicts and had failed to convict on a single count brought against the defendants.

When the government retried the case a year later, prosecutors made several key adjustments. Most notably, they dropped some counts against particular defendants; they called several new witnesses; and they displayed three exhibits which Israeli military officials had seized from the Palestinian Authority (PA). Those exhibits demonstrated that the PA, like the U.S. government, clearly considered HLF to be a Hamas funder; that an HLF-supported charity committee was fully controlled by Hamas; and that the defendants were well aware that whatever money they were raising in the U.S. was earmarked for Hamas.

On November 24, 2008, the jury convicted five former HLF officials—Shukri Abu-Baker, Ghassan Elashi, Mohamed El-Mezain, Mufid Abdulqader and Abdelrahman Odeh—of conspiring to provide material support to terrorists.”

MR. HUNTSMAN TOWN HALL MEETING AS BROADCAST IN C-SPAN 3 THIS MORNING WAS A UNIQUE EXPERIENCED. THE ENTIRE ATMOSPHERE WAS UNUSUAL FOR A POLITICIAN.  MR HUNTSMAN SAT AT A TABLE RARHER THAN STANDING OR USING A DESK. THE ATMOSPHERE HE PRODUCED WAS MORE LIKE A GROUP OF FRIENDS SEATED AROUND  AND HOLDING A CASUAL DISCUSSION ABOUT THE PROBLEMS CONFRONTING OUR COUNTRY.  THERE WAS NO LECTURE TYPE OR USED CAR SALES TYPE ATTITUDE,  JUST A COMFORTABLE FEELING ABOUT THE MAN PRESENTING HIMSELF IN A FRIENDLY MANNER, THIS FORMAT WAS CONDUCIVE TO A FEELING OF CONFIDENCE AND ADMIRATION ABOUT THIS MAN. THISW WAS SO DIFFERENT FROM THE DEBATE FORMAT OR THE SALES TYPE OF PRESENTATION THAT IS USUALLY ENCOUNTERED AT THE POLITICAL GATHERING TYPE WE HAVE ALL BECOME ACCUSTOMED TO,  MR HUNTSMAN SPOKE IN A CALM MANNER WHICH GAVE THE BELIEF THAT HE WAS TALKING TO EQUALS, NOT LECTURING OR SELLING, JUST BEING AN ORDINARY TYPE PERSON.

For those of you who do not follow football, former college football quarterback superstar, Tim Tebow is an outspoken Christian. The liberal media and pro abortion groups were furious when the story of how Tebow's pro-life mom was advised by doctors to abort him, but refused, was featured in a Super Bowl commercial. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qLds7Xcs0-w

Tebow is now a pro football rookie quarterback with the Denver Broncos. Some sports analysts and media say Tebow does not have the skills needed to “make it” in the NFL. While some of the naysayers and criticism may be justified, some desire to see Tebow fail because he is so outspoken regarding his Christian faith.

My doc says exercise helps control my diabetes. That Sunday, I was at the gym on the ellipse machine watching the Denver/Miami NFL football game. It was Tebow's first start as a pro.

An elderly husband and wife couple approached the aerobic section. They visually scanned the bank of TV sets. I suspected they were looking for the Tebow game. I was correct.

I asked, “Are you folks Tebow fans?” They smiled and replied, “Yes” I said, “So am I”. The woman said, “Thank you”. Something in her voice told me their support of Tebow extended beyond football. I suspect millions across America share similar feelings about Tebow.

Rather than giving you a play by play of the game, let's say for 95% of the game, Tebow's performance was unimpressive. Miami was beating Denver 15 to zero. Then, with 2 minutes left in the game, Tebow brought his team back to tie the score. Tebow's team won the game in overtime. Wow!

When interviewed after the game about his amazing comeback and win, Tebow said the last thing I am sure the liberal media wanted to hear, “First, I would like to thank my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ...”

Folks, I yelled, “Yes!” and felt a little tearful.

Please do not get me wrong. I am not suggesting Tim Tebow walks on water. I am saying that in our culture which celebrates crudeness and the lowest common denominator, it is extremely refreshing to see this young man boldly standing up for traditional wholesome principles and values.

Unquestionably, the American left has launched a war against Christianity. We are lectured and threatened with political correctness to respect every religion under the sun except Christianity.

It is open season on trashing Christians in movies, political interviews and etc. The Christian is portrayed as the nut job, the loser or the nerd.

Rumor has it, Tebow is an extremely hard worker and a born leader; sounds similar to a fire ball from Wasilla Alaska who is also despised in the liberal media for similar reasons.

Be prepared for an all out campaign by the left, throughout his pro football career, to destroy and discredit Tim Tebow.

Thus far, Tebow has done three things to infuriate the left and secure his name permanent residency on their excrement list. First, Tebow dodged being aborted and went public with his story. Second, Tebow won his first game in the NFL and publicly thanked Jesus for it. Dem there is fightin' words to the left! Third, without being intentionally political, Tebow's life promotes Conservatism.

Culturally, we have fallen a long way from President Reagan declaring a national Year of the Bible. Such a proclamation would be impossible today. Tebow publicly thanking Jesus in a secular setting is deemed fanatical by liberal media standards in America today.

And why is the left so angry and threatened by Tebow's mom's decision not to kill him?

Congratulations Tim Tebow on your super NFL debut. Millions are praying for you. And thanks for scoring one for us Christians.

Reality check #1 for Obama: The middle class has lost ground because of your failed economic policies, not because of the top 1 percent in America. I. Obama's Real Strategy!

“Watching the machinations of Barack Obama, it seems as though he is creating what the Marxists call “internal contradictions.”

Gas prices ready to breach the $5 mark, but a relentless Administration campaign against increased domestic energy production; midterm elections soundly rejecting the President and his party’s command and control initiatives, butvigorous efforts to extend them in contempt not only of electoral, but legislative and judicial checks; foreign and defense policies that have produced nothing beyond betrayal of our interests and few remaining friends, but an eager embrace of fringe notions of a utopian internationalist order and our place in that order: every day brings new movements in this symphony of  dissonance.

Unfortunately, we are not simply enjoying a clarifying dialectic; we are in the middle of a high stakes race.  The objective in this race is not a place; it is a date: Election Day, November 6, 2012.

As the contending parties converge on the objective, the Administration understands that the conventional electoral calculus seems irreversible—gas prices, inflation, unemployment, and geopolitical discomfiture will be joined in 2012 by the newfound fear of deficits and the national debt, and maybe even for the fate of constitutional government.  Their response to this looming threat of defeat is a version of the old Cold War communist strategy of “talk talk, fight fight.”

The talk element is employed to waste time, obscure tactical maneuvers, divert and divide the opposition, and sometimes even to draw fire onto decoy targets.  Behind the screen of the talk is the “fight” or action element of the strategy—executive, and to the extent still possible, fiscal measures calculated to bring the country by November 6, 2012 to a state in which an electoral majority, comprising both Obama partisans and opponents, is in such a high state of anxiety that they are unwilling to change presidents.

How does this work?  First, there is the talk element.  Obama and his people are drowning us in a talk tsunami.  I am convinced that much of it is, for them, meaningless, meant merely to overload our capacity for outrage and give their house media “issues,” ostensibly to debate each evening, but really for generating a constant supply of vehicles through which to diminish the opposition and generally desensitize the country to the enormity of what Obama is doing.  The outrage fatigue grows and conservatives scramble to confront the dizzying torrent of talk, talk, with a tone increasingly shrill and desperation—borne intramural wrangling.  The  release of the birth certificate, “Something special about the Resurrection,” and other peculiar Easter omissions and commissions, the rise and disappearance of the political “civility” issue, keeping alive for months the fantasy of New York City trials for 9/11 conspirators, the great Fatwa against down time naps for drowsy air traffic controllers, UN international legal rights for Mother Earth, endless reprises of canards about the evil effects of conservative talk radio, the Ground Zero Mosque contretemps, TSA groping policy, attacking Arizona’s immigration enforcement initiative, embracing Al Sharpton and giving the New Black Panthers a pass, Michelle’s “You don’t want fries with that!” campaign.

This is not to say some of these do not merit real concern, but Obama and his minions are merely playing with them; the best evidence for which is the airiness of their arguments and the insouciance with which they and their media mouthpieces flit from one to the next.  The key here for the opposition—forget about the talk.  It is just talk.  Republicans shouldn’t play the other guy’s game.  They have neither the language nor the style, as Speaker Boehner most recently demonstrated when he trod on the oil price banana peel; he should concentrate on the fight fight.

When national Republicans respond to Obama talk talk in their accustomed mush mouthed, tentative, and bloodless way, they generally turn off those they need the most to join them—including the libertarians and the generally politically inert 25-somethings, for whom irony and not outrage is the preferred tone.  But show you can fight, win, and deliver and they will give you a chance.  In the end, for all their eloquence, Lady Thatcher, John Paul II, and Ronald Reagan did not outtalk the Soviets; they showed they were prepared to outfight them, and that was enough.

As good as Obama is with talk talk, the fight fight component has thus far has been equally well-executed.  Again, fight fight for Obama consists of using his executive power and remaining fiscal armory to create and maintain an atmosphere of pervasive anxiety.  The calculation is that fear and anxiety will induce his remaining supporters to stick with him, and that enough of the forty-odd percent who claim to oppose him will pull the Democrat lever as well out of fear—fear of retribution and fear of losing what shreds they have left of their security as one from the gaggle of lame Republican contenders attempts to reverse the damage Obama has done.

The elderly are the most obvious target.  ObamaCare frightened them because of its potential negative impact on Medicare, and this presented a problem for the President.  So Obama moved recently to postpone one of the more onerous elements of his health reform until after the election.  With that flank secure he is free to focus the Medicare fears of the elderly on the Ryan budget blueprint.

On the union front, the Obama gang fostered maximum thuggery and rancor in Madison, as teachers became screaming harpies and schoolchildren pawns.  The line was clearly drawn—standing between fiscal prudence and public employee vested interests is Obama, so stick with him or else.  What about the business community?  Obama has assiduously used executive and regulatory power to show that crony capitalism works for his friends like GE, GM, and assorted connected green scam artists, but the retributive hand of his federal Myrmidons can be heavy indeed.  One frightened hedge fund magnate recently was reduced to whistling past the graveyard: “I am sure, if we are really nice and stay quiet, everything will be alright and the president will become more centrist and that all his tough talk is just words...I mean, he really loves us and when he beats us, he doesn’t mean it.”  (Notwithstanding, he has apparently begun contributing to Republicans.  Now that is hedging.)
