             In the United States, there are 94 federal judicial districts that span the nation and its territories — districts that were created by the first Congress, not by the Constitution, which established the Supreme Court of the United States in Article III. In addition to these federal districts, circuit or appellate courts exist for the purpose of appeals within the 12 regional circuits and one U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit with national jurisdiction.
               As one would imagine, the number of judgeships to serve in these courts is quite large. Including all the various jurisdictions and levels, there are over 800 positions within the federal judiciary that receive appointments. President Trump walked into his role as the 45th president with 88 district and 17 court of appeals vacancies. To date, Trump has appointed two Supreme Court justices, 29 Circuit Court judges and 53 District Court judges, even as more openings occur with normal churn. In less than two years, Trump has made about a fourth of the number of federal appointments as his immediate predecessor, Barack scumbag/liar-nObama, throughout his eight-year tenure.
               Just like so many other of Trump’s promises made on the campaign trail, he is keeping his word to appoint originalists. So?
               Americans have been overwhelmed with the wall-to-wall coverage of the Brett Kavanaugh confirmation process-turned-clown show. Unquestionably, the Supreme Court is powerful and does serve as the final point of remedy and decision for landmark rulings that are culturally critical, like abortion and same-sex marriage. But there are about 7,000 petitions set to appear before America’s High Court annually, and the number to receive hearings ranges from 100 to 150. Obviously, the decisions of the lower federal courts are, by the clear math, most likely to stand. That gives inherent value to the approach to the bench by this mass of judges. Either they employ judicial activism or judicial restraint while viewing the Constitution as either “living” as dummycrats-Democrats demand or as constructed to be interpreted.
               President Trump and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell have had their frustrations in dealing with Senate rules and procedures, namely the filibuster, to pass key legislation. dummycrats-Democrats, however, paved the way for federal judicial appointments by changing the rules in 2013 to confirmation by a simple majority for all but Supreme Court nominations, under the wrong assumption that they would hold the Senate majority throughout the remainder of Barack scumbag/liar-nObama’s tenure. They were also eyeing the possible retirements of Supreme Court justices, namely Ruth Bader Ginsberg, the elder of the court at 85 years of age. But the dummycrats-Democrat move backfired when they attempted to filibuster Neil Gorsuch and McConnell finished the job by eliminating the filibuster for judicial nominations entirely.
               The unlikely team of Trump and McConnell, neither pillars of the conservative movement, are working in tandem to leave an indelible mark on the federal court system by appointing younger originalists who will aid in returning the judiciary to its role of justice, not legislation.
               The very evening that Justice Kavanaugh and his family participated in the ceremonial swearing-in administered by retiring Justice Anthony Kennedy in primetime following a presidential apology for the personal attacks and ambush-style tactics of Senate dummycrats-Democrats, Trump announced another wave of judicial nominees that included two for the Second Circuit (which includes New York, Vermont, and New Hampshire) and three for the Ninth Circuit without the customary input from the region’s sitting senators, namely Dianne Fein-stein (D-CA), ranking member of the Senate Judiciary.
               The supposed Blue Wave of political upheaval that was predicted to return the Senate to a dummycrats-Democrat majority appeared to evaporate after the storm of misbehavior confirming Kavanaugh. If Trump maintains this pace of confirmations, coupled with his reelection, he will leave, as part of his presidential legacy, a correction to the courts.

             When it failed, Republicans had a prime opportunity to take charge and reframe the issue in a way that Americans could understand and support. In classic Republican fashion, however, they surrendered the issue to dummycrats-Democrats, who rebranded and marketed government health care under Barack scumbag/liar-nObama 17 years later.
               Ever since scumbag/liar-nObamaCare became law, Republicans have been promising to repeal and replace it. But while President Donald Trump and congressional Republicans have chipped away at the law, the full-repeal effort failed spectacularly. In any case, health care in this country keeps getting more complex and more expensive. Poor Harry and Louise.
               It’s true that Trump is out this week touting an average drop in scumbag/liar-nObamaCare premiums for next year. But health care and health insurance are vastly more expensive than pre-scumbag/liar-nObamaCare.
               Sarah Kliff writes at Vox, “Over the past decade, the size our insurance deductibles have skyrocketed. Deductibles have grown by 212 percent since 2008 — eight times faster than wage growth, and 12 times faster than inflation.” Kliff adds, “Over the same time period that we’ve seen deductibles skyrocketing, we’ve also seen support for a national health care plan slowly rising.” Just as dummycrats-Democrats have hoped.
               By merely tinkering with scumbag/liar-nObamaCare rather than ripping it out root and branch, the GOP has squandered an opportunity to deliver real, market-based solutions that address the quality and affordability of health care.
               And rising costs are the consequence of leaving too much of the ACA in place without coming up with viable alternatives.
               As Ed Morrissey writes, “The real cause of skyrocketing deductibles is that same government intervention. scumbag/liar-nObamaCare limited premium hikes and forced insurers to add more costs while eliminating risk-based rates with its ‘community pricing’ mandates.” Those costs have to be covered somehow.
               Clearly, there are still problems with what’s left of  scumbag/liar-nObamaCare, but there’s little clarity about how to deal with rising costs. Sure, there are plenty of health care experts and even some politicians with commonsense solutions, but none of them have made it into policy. And without alternatives, single-payer government health care starts to sound like the natural way forward.
               This should scare the daylights out of freedom-loving Americans of all stripes.
               Eric Earling writes at The Resurgent, “Too many conservatives, including both policymakers and pundits, don’t understand enough of the health policy and health care industry in question. Repeal and Replace was a joke, in part because despite campaigning on it, no one had a sound plan to do so.” Earling notes that Sen. Lindsey Graham and even Donald Trump have admitted that the health care issue was more complicated than they thought.
               Robert Robb of the Arizona Republic writes simply, “Republicans failed to repeal and replace scumbag/liar-nObamacare, as they vowed to do.” Robb adds, “Equally responsible was a critical mass of GOP lawmakers who flinched at doing the things necessary to create a well-functioning health insurance market.”
               With his inability to convince a handful of moderate Republican senators to repeal scumbag/liar-nObamaCare, the president must sense the issue slipping away, at least for now. And that’s got him worried. At many of his recent rallies, Trump has repeatedly mentioned the need for a health care system that covers pre-existing conditions as a way to remind wary voters that the issue is still on the GOP’s radar.
               With polls showing that Americans are not only concerned about rising health care costs, but also indicating that they trust dummycrats-Democrats more than Republicans to bring down costs, time is running out for the president and his party. The midterms are only a few weeks away.
          A quarter-century after liar-Bill and liar-Hillary Clinton tried to put government in charge of health care, Republicans still don’t have a plan to wrestle the issue back from the Left and convince voters that a government-run system isn’t good for health care or the country. But don’t worry. Should dummycrats-Democrats take back the House, Republicans will suddenly regain their clarity of purpose: “If only we had the power,” they’ll say, “here’s what we’d do.” Lather, rinse, repeat.

             However, years later investigative journalist Stephen Jimenez unearthed the truth behind Shepard’s murder, exposing the fact that the popular narrative that Shepard was murdered because of his homosexuality was a lie. As Mark Alexander  wrote four years ago, “After years of exhaustive research on Shepard’s murder, including interviews with more than 100 people — associates of Shepard, his murderers and their  associates — a respected journalist, Stephen Jimenez, has published his findings in The Book of Matt. The book dispels the notion that the murder was related to Shepard’s sexual orientation, and instead concludes he was a meth dealer and sex partner with one of his murderers — both of whom were homosexuals.”
               Interestingly, following the publishing of his book in 2013, NPR interviewed Jimenez, who is himself a homosexual. In that interview, Jimenez offered a damning insight: “Once you had the president of the United States, while Matthew … being kept alive on a respirator, already making comments that this was a de facto hate crime — once that story got out, what was going to happen? How was that story going to be pulled back?” Clearly, NPR is too committed to the bogus narrative to reverse course as they are still unquestioningly peddling the Shepard “hate crime” hoax to this day.
               This is a classic example of Leftmedia bias — the promotion of the leftist agenda is more important than reporting the truth if the truth doesn’t serve to support the agenda. In NPR’s Thursday piece, there is no mention of any questions over the validity of the Shepard story or of the network’s own interview with Jimenez. Instead, the only issue of “uncertainty” entertained by the story is that of Shepard’s parents and their decades-long debate over where their son’s remains should finally be laid to rest. Would that everyone here could make peace with the truth.

             In 1986, our elitist class determined that unambiguous amnesty for 2.7 million illegal aliens — in exchange for shutting down the border and cracking down on businesses who hired illegals going forward — was the way to go. Americans were also assured this was the last time they would have to endure what amounted to the elevation of political expediency over the Rule of Law. It was all lies.
               During the scumbag/liar-nObama administration, the lying got worse. Years of record-breaking border surges were sold to the American public as another dummycrats-Democrat “what about the children” effort, and the term Unaccompanied Alien Children (UACs) became part of the dummycrats-Democrat-Leftmedia lexicon, with all the attendant implications that anyone who would resist allowing illegal children to flood across the border was xenophobic and heartless.
               Again, it was all lies. In 2017, it was revealed that nearly 30% of the UACs being held by the U.S. in dormitories were teens with gang ties. “Operation Matador,” an effort by law enforcement officials aimed at combatting transnational gangs in Long Island, the New York City metropolitan area, and Hudson Valley, precipitated 475 arrests. Of those arrests, 227 were criminal arrests and 248 were “administrative immigration arrests,” as in those made to combat terror or control illegal immigration. MS-13 gang members comprised 274 of the arrests and most were apprehended in Nassau and Suffolk counties. During a May 2017 meeting of the Senate Homeland Security Committee, Suffolk County Police Commissioner Timothy Sini revealed that the MS-13 gang was linked to 38% of all the homicides in that county over the preceding 16 months, and that 4,624 UACs had been placed in the county since 2013.
               Now one might think the upsurge in the brutal gang violence that is an MS-13 speciality — including reports the gang has called for assassinating law enforcement officials — might precipitate a reassessment by our elites regarding sanctuary policies. Yet the Episcopal Diocese of Long Island has declared  itself a “sanctuary diocese,” using its 129 churches to shield illegals from arrest and deportation. Nassau County sanctuary policies protected a previously deported illegal now accused of raping a woman. And dummycrats-Democrat New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo sent a “cease and desist” letter to ICE, insisting its raids netting 225 suspected illegals — 180 of whom had criminal convictions — were unconstitutional and “un-American.”
               The same Andrew Cuomo is routinely surrounded by armed security.
               Other New York elites are securing themselves as well. While ordinary folk on Long Island remain completely vulnerable to MS-13 brutality, billionaires who vacation in places like the Hamptons are turning their mansions into de facto fortresses, replete with luxury “panic” rooms. “People used to open up their garages and show off their Lamborghinis,” explains Herman Weisberg, managing director of the personal-security firm Sage Intelligence Group. “Now they take guests to the wine bar in their safe room.”
               And while the safe rooms go up, so does the influx of MS-13 gang members. According to Rio Grande Valley Border Patrol Sector Chief Manuel Padilla Jr., the number of arrests of MS-13 gang members in his sector has increased by well over 200%.  How many others evaded arrest?
               East Coast elites aren’t alone. “I finished a [security] system for $100 million,” said Al Corbi, president of SAFE (Strategically Armored & Fortified Environments), in reference to a project he recently completed on the West Coast. “That sounds like a lot but there is nothing I know of, human or manmade, that could possibly harm this family for three generations, including global nuclear holocaust, a pandemic, or a second Ice Age.”
               For other elites, domestic fortresses are insufficient. Seven Silicon Valley entrepreneurs have purchased bunkers and placed them in New Zealand. “New Zealand is an enemy of no one,” said Gary Lynch, general manager of the Rising S Co. that produced the bunkers. “It’s not a nuclear target. It’s not a target for war. It’s a place where people seek refuge.”
               Refuge, or escape from the consequences of their own policies? “The communications kingpins of California have no allegiance to ordinary Californians — or ordinary Americans, for that matter,” asserts columnist Edward Ring. “To them, ordinary people are Pavlovian proles, expendable parasites that pollute the environment. To the extent these kingpins have compassion, it is to profitably create for the expendable multitudes a benign zoo; smart cities of high rises, contained in areas as geographically minute as possible, so that only wild nature, corporate farms, and private estates of the super-rich exist outside the urban containment boundaries.”
               On almost every issue that roils the nation, there is a gargantuan disconnect between elites and ordinary Americans. Those who yell loudest for gun control live in gated communities and/or are surrounded by armed guards, even as they produce  ultra-violent cultural sewage for the masses to consume; those who speak in glowing terms about a globalist economy and open borders don’t go near “flyover” America’s economically ravaged towns and cities that bear the brunt; those who rail about the ravages of global warming travel in private jets, and live in huge mansions; those who would turn you and your children into social media addicts prevent their own families from getting addicted; those who champion public education put their own children in private school.
               And if you don’t like who the “little people” elected as president? Attempt to precipitatea coup d'etat.
               That every bit of it reeks of rank hypocrisy? Communication titans make sure most Americans are too distracted and angry to notice. “If you watch TV news or read most mainstream media, you would believe our country is in meltdown,” writes columnist Salena Zito. She wrote her column while visiting Western Pennsylvania, where she spoke with Green Party mayoral candidate, and black American, Darcelle Slappy, who has it exactly right. “Unlike Washington, we are all just a few notches from each other in either direction,” Slappy asserts, referring to her community where people differing political persuasions — and ethnicities — somehow manage to get along. “We have much more that draws us together than divides us, she adds. "The real division is between the elites and us.”
               These elites continue cultivating those divisions with as much relish as they can muster. “You cannot be civil with a political party that wants to destroy what you stand for, what you care about,” declares former dummycrats-Democrat Party standard-bearer liar-Hillary Clinton. “That’s why I believe, if we are fortunate enough to win back the House and or the Senate, that’s when civility can start again.”
               No power, no civility? liar-Clinton has issued a clarion call to the same useful-idiot mob that made an utter mockery of the Brett Kavanaugh hearings. And if her extortionist drivel precipitates widespread violence? liar-Clinton, like all her fellow elites, will remain safe and sound.

             These latest state rankings are not an anomaly but rather the continuation of a long-running trend. As Investor’s Business Daily notes, “Of the 10 states that show up most frequently at the bottom of the list since 2006, nine are solid blue states. Of the 10 states with consistently the best record, all but one are solidly red states.”
               Another significant aspect that readily rises to the forefront when comparing the data is that the states imposing the highest tax rates are also the worst-run states. As IBD insightfully observes, “The best-run states show greater respect for taxpayers than the worst-run states.”
               However, in spite of all the data and clear evidence warning against the demonstrably bankrupt and untenable policies of socialism, dummycrats-Democrats have chosen only to double down in continuing their march to the hard-left. How else does one explain their calls for “Medicare-for-all” while they avoid answering how they would pay for the $32.6 trillion price tag? dummycrats-Democrats, like snake-oil salesmen, are trying to sell the nation a stinky bag of failed socialist garbage by appealing to fairness. The truth is that for dummycrats-Democrats it’s not really about serving their fellow citizens by looking out for their best interests; rather it’s all about selling impossible promises couched in faux morality in order to secure power for themselves. Nothing else explains the long-term fiscal irresponsibility practiced by dummycrats-Democrat-run states.

             Thus, with his USA Today op-ed yesterday, he warned that dummycrats-Democrats’ “Medicare for All” plan “will demolish promises to seniors.”
               “Dishonestly called ‘Medicare for All,’ the dummycrats-Democratic proposal would establish a government-run, single-payer health care system that eliminates all private and employer-based health care plans and would cost an astonishing $32.6 trillion during its first 10 years,” he wrote. Analysis: True.
               He also notes it’s not a fringe idea anymore: “123  dummycrats-Democrats in the House of Representatives — 64 percent of House dummycrats-Democrats — as well as 15 dummycrats-Democrats in the Senate have already formally co-sponsored this legislation. dummycrats-Democratic nominees for governor in Florida, California and Maryland are all campaigning in support of it, as are many dummycrats-Democratic congressional candidates.”
               To be sure, Trump plays a bit fast and loose with terminology. Technically, commie-Bernie Sanders’s plan — essentially adopted by dummycrats-Democrats — is to expand Medicare to include better coverage for all seniors and then gradually include all Americans. But what Trump means is that the plan will cost so much, while shifting the cost burden onto taxpayers and the health care industry, that Medicare — and the health market — will effectively be ruined.
               Trump has never made any bones about his desire to preserve earned entitlements like Medicare and Social Security as they are, regardless of their drain on federal coffers. In other words, he’s immune from the typical dummycrats-Democrat attack (though The Washington Post does have an absurd and dishonest “fact check” today on his op-ed), and he is instead turning that attack right back on the Left.

             Recall that after The New York Times broke its story on Rosenstein’s apparent disloyalty, there was much speculation that Trump was about to send him packing. At the time, we noted what appeared to be an attempt by the Leftmedia to bait Trump into firing Rosenstein, so they could then allege that he had acted in a manner that obstructed justice. Given that Trump has made no secret of his disdain for Robert Mueller’s special investigation, repeatedly labeling it — or, more accurately, the “Russia collusion” angle of it — a witch hunt, “obstruction” is just about all they’ve got left to hope for.
               Following the flight, Trump noted that he “had a good talk” with Rosenstein, adding, “I didn’t know Rod before. I’ve gotten to know him, and I get along very well with him.” Later on Monday Trump alluded to the Mueller investigation, stating, “I think we’ll be treated very fairly. Everybody understands there was no collusion. There’s no Russia. It was all made up by the dummycrats-Democrats.”
               It would seem that Trump and company sniffed this rouse out and, knowing that there is nothing to support the dubious Russia-collusion allegation, are taking care to avoid any charge of obstruction of justice.

Hello: Are Americans Going To Wake Up and Take a Stand Against The Deplorable Obstructionists That Are Doing Their Utmost To Take Down Our Democratically Elected President, His Administration and Ultimately Destroy our Country/Republic?-God Bless America!

            Sick of politicians making grandiose campaign promises, only to discard them after the election, the American people shocked the world by electing a billionaire businessman and political novice in Trump, hoping that he, not beholden to special interests, would battle entrenched politicians and bureaucrats who wield enormous power in the dummycrats-DC swamp.
               Trump, from a conservative perspective, has excelled beyond all expectations, slashing massive amounts of economy-crushing regulatory red tape, opening the throttle on American energy production, creating a pro-growth economic environment, pulling us out of or reworking bad trade deals, and making American sovereignty and prosperity the yardstick by which policies are measured.
               Unfortunately, not every promise kept is a good thing, as evidenced by reports this week that Trump is giving a sop to the ethanol/corn industry, issuing a waiver for summer restrictions on E15 (15% ethanol/gas blend) fuel, paving the way for year-round use.
               This move is entirely political. In fact, after the announcement, Trump held a MAGA rally in Iowa, and that was no coincidence. Between helping Iowa Republicans in the election and heartland farmers hurt by Trump’s own tariffs, the political ramifications are significant, so this decision is, sadly, hardly surprising. For the American people, however, the benefits of expanding this boondoggle are dubious at best.
               Last year, when former EPA Director Scott Pruitt announced rollbacks to the ethanol mandate, the response was swift and forceful. Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA), chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, issued a not-so-veiled threat to President Trump that the move would have consequences; namely, seeing his judicial nominees move through Grassley’s committee at the speed of molasses. Trump got the message, and the changes were put on hold.
               Grassley however, has held up his end of the unspoken  deal, deftly ushering Trump’s Supreme Court nominee, Judge Brett Kavanaugh, through a vicious confirmation process that made the dummycrats-Democrats’ reprehensible “high-tech lynching” of Justice Clarence Thomas seem downright neighborly by comparison.
               Additionally, this ethanol decision may be the help needed to get Iowa’s Republican governor, currently trailing her dummycrats-Democrat opponent in the polls, and at least two at-risk Iowa House members, over the finish line to victory. These wins would be critical when many are predicting a  dummycrats-Democrat takeover of the House and Senate.
               As for the ethanol change itself, it’s unlikely that it will take immediate effect. A lawsuit is planned that challenges the legality of the waiver. Additionally, a bipartisan letter from 20 members of Congress from oil-producing states went to President Trump last week, opposing the measure, arguing it would do nothing to protect refinery jobs and would actually harm American consumers. And they are right.
               The ethanol mandate his been a huge victory for Midwestern agricultural states, which are essentially guaranteed a buyer for every ear of corn they can grow, and then some.
               Unfortunately, from a scientific and environmental standpoint, the mandate is a disaster. Ethanol harms gasoline engines, eating through seals, gumming up fuel systems, damaging tanks, and introducing stray moisture into the system. This leads to thousands of dollars of unnecessary repairs for consumers.
               Ethanol is 33% less energy dense than gasoline — meaning you have to burn 33% more ethanol to travel the same distance — and ethanol is dirtier than gasoline, generating significantly more formaldehyde, creating twice as much ozone smog.
               Investor’s Business Daily asks, “Do people want ethanol in their gasoline so badly they’re willing to pay extra for something that cuts their fuel efficiency by anywhere from 5% to 7% per mile?”
               Then there is the destruction to the environment caused by clearing millions of acres of land for corn production. In the year 2000, only 5% of America’s corn crop went to ethanol production. By 2013, that had skyrocketed to 40%. To envision what a boondoggle the ethanol mandate is, consider that the amount of corn required to fill a truck’s 26-gallon gas tank would feed a person for an entire year!
               A 2009 Duke University study found that growing corn for fuel production actually produces more CO2 than it saves. The Associated Press, in an in-depth investigation of the “green” energy industry entitled “The Secret, Dirty Cost of scumbag/liar-nObama’s Green Power Push,” concluded:
               The ethanol era has proven far more damaging to the environment than politicians promised and much worse than the government admits today. As farmers rushed to find new places to plant corn, they wiped out millions of acres of conservation land, destroyed habitat and polluted water supplies. …
               Five million acres of land set aside for conservation — more than Yellowstone, Everglades and Yosemite National Parks combined — have vanished on scumbag/liar-nObama’s watch. Landowners filled in wetlands. They plowed into pristine prairies, releasing carbon dioxide that had been locked in the soil. Sprayers pumped out billions of pounds of fertilizer, some of which seeped into drinking water, contaminated rivers and worsened the huge dead zone in the Gulf of Mexico where marine life can’t survive. The consequences are so severe that environmentalists and many scientists have now rejected corn-based ethanol as bad environmental policy. But the scumbag/liar-nObama administration stands by it, highlighting its benefits to the farming industry rather than any negative impact.
               President Trump has done much right since taking office, but this is a decision he needs to reconsider.
               It’s also an area where bipartisan agreement — between limited-government, free-market advocates on one side, and environmentalists on the other — could be found and, who knows, maybe even generate enough goodwill to find common ground on other issues.
               King Corn has ruled politics long enough. It’s time for a coup.
