In April, the Los Angeles Times ran an op-ed complaining that Muslims were being singled out in airports. “Does the 4th Amendment apply to Muslim citizens at LAX?” Lubana Adi, its author, fumed.
Adi, a Syrian, told a sob story about visiting her “aged mother” and two brothers who were refugees in Turkey. Then airport security “groped” under her Hijab and demanded that she empty her purse. They wanted to know why she had visited a border city and where all the money she was carrying had gone.
“President Trump’s new security regime wastes yet more of our time and our taxpayer money and shows outright scorn for the spirit of the 4th Amendment,” Adi complained.
The Los Angeles Times felt that the story was so important that it needed to be referenced in future pieces as an example of the abuses that Muslims face in this country.
It was a shocking Islamophobic outrage. But now the Times is telling another story.
This one mentions that a business owner by the name of Rashid Jijakli had been indicted for smuggling military equipment to Jihadis in Syria. Jijakli had smuggled the equipment to Syria through Turkey.
What it neglects to mention is that Rashid Jijakli’s wife is Lubana Adi. But Adi mentioned that in her own op-ed. “I had later met and married a Syrian-American U.S. citizen, Rashid Jijakli.” The registry for the Palmyra Corporation, the check cashing business which Jijakli had used to fund the smuggling, lists his address as a home in Walnut, California that appears to be owned by him and Lubana Adi whose past media and social media mentions place her in the same locale.
This evidence would suggest that the Los Angeles Times ran an op-ed blaming Islamophobia for being subjected to extra scrutiny on a trip back from Turkey by the wife of a man who had smuggled illegal items to Islamic fighters through Turkey.
Rather than being singled out due to “Islamophobia”, the more likely explanation is that her husband was already on the radar of the authorities.
According to the indictment, the smuggling scheme began in 2012.
Rashid Jijakli aided in the smuggling of assorted military equipment, including rifle sights, night vision scopes and other materials. He crossed over into Syria, personally smuggled some of the equipment and may have even participated in the fighting. In one communication he complains that his trip to Syria hadn’t been much fun because he was unable to “join with (sic) some action.” In another, he tells an unindicted coconspirator that a “Russian weapon” would be available for him.
It’s unknown which specific group of fighters Jijakli was aiding. But Lubana Adi’s Facebook page includes an enthusiastic endorsement of a Syrian American Council event with Sheikh Saria Rifai. The Sheikh and his brother Osama head up the Syrian Islamic Scholars Association. They fled Syria for Saudi Arabia after Assad Sr. defeated the Muslim Brotherhood in the eighties. Their father had been a prominent Muslim Brotherhood member. Osama played a major role in the Brotherhood’s League of the Syrian Ulema which dominated the Syrian Islamic Council.
“Don’t miss out this event,” Lubana Adi had written. “Come and support, I am here& there to help.”
Adi promoted another event featuring Sheikh Karim Rajeh, chair of the Syrian Association of Islamic Scholars, and an ally of the Rifais. She frequently shared other Syrian Islamic Council events.
The Syrian American Council is interlinked with Muslim Brotherhood front groups such as CAIR.

It is highly likely that whatever group Rashid Jijakli supported was Islamist. And linked to the Brotherhood. If not worse.
“Like any loyal citizen, I want my country protected from any and all terrorist threats. But such ‘unreasonable searches’ are a waste of taxpayer money,” Adi had written.
But it was all a matter of how you define “terrorist”.
Lubana Adi has made regular appearances in the media. She could be seen at a vigil against Islamophobia and a protest against China. The Los Angeles Times had sympathetically profiled her participation in an MPAC rally against America and Israel.
As American soldiers were battling Islamic terrorists in Iraq and Israeli soldiers were being killed by Hamas, Adi was quoted as declaring that she had come to “support the Iraqis and Palestinians who are dying there.”
MPAC is closely tied to the Muslim Brotherhood. Maher Hathout, whom the Times article claimed was there to pray for peace, was a Muslim Brotherhood member who had defended Islamic terrorists.
But the media, as usual, is curiously uncurious about such things. And the lies continue.
Did Lubana Adi know what was going on? The indictment contains an extended list of unindicted coconspirators. And Adi spent most of her time on social media fulminating over the religious war between Sunnis and Shiites in her homeland. If she knew, then whether or not she actively participated in the smuggling, she had a very good idea of exactly why she had been singled out for screening.
If so, she chose to write an angry op-ed to intimidate the authorities while misleading the paper.
But don’t expect the Los Angeles Times to be upset or offended that it may have been used as cover in a military equipment smuggling scheme to terrorists. The media has no ethics, dignity or patriotism left.
Lubana Adi’s original claim that she was the victim of Islamophobia will continue circulating. The likelihood of the media linking its original viral story to Rashid Jijakli is minimal. That would undermine its narrative that law enforcement is motivated by an unjustified hatred for Muslims rather than acting based on a fully justified effort to protect our country and other countries from Islamic terrorists.
And to end the financial pipeline from Islamic settlers in America to Islamic Jihadis abroad.
“Is America safer when agents spend hours interrogating an American citizen with no criminal record or terrorist associations?” Adi asked. As she ended up demonstrating, the answer is undeniably yes.

Perhaps one of the most worrying parts of the Facebook post is that they say they have no idea how the local police obtained his details without some sort of court order or similar legal action.
At the time of writing, this question remains unsolved.
As you will all now all be aware, I was visited last week by two local police officers who wished to provide ‘words of advice’ regarding supposed Islamophobic content posted onto this page, which was itself locked and suspended for a fortnight.
The officers themselves were polite and reasonable enough, however their message was somewhat chilling: it was insinuated that if I continued to post material which could be considered critical of Islam or offensive to the practices of Muslims, I could potentially be arrested for ‘hate crimes.’
Equally chilling was that I have no idea how they obtained my personal information and they weren’t willing to disclose this information during their visit.
On the advice of some patrons of this page I have this morning submitted a formal complaint to the IPCC and also made written enquiries to the Police and Crime Commissioner to try and get answers.
I will of course keep you all updated with the progress of these enquiries.

There should be a global outcry against this shocking racism and coverup of sex abuse against UK young girls, but the ongoing tolerance of the intolerable continues because of the acceptance of the “Islamophobia” agenda, which paints Muslims as the victims as a means to distract from the reality of those who are being victimized by Muslims globally, including Muslims themselves. Despite the shocking news that “as many as one million white English children may have been the victims of Muslim rape gangs,” the media always referred to these criminals as “Asian sex gangs,” or simply as “grooming gangs,” so as to conceal the clash of civilizations problem in the Britain.
Former Home Secretary and parliament member Jack Straw once said, “There’s a particular problem involving Pakistani heritage men who target young, vulnerable, white English girls.” He also said these Pakistani heritage men view white English girls as “easy meat.”
The UK also has some 85 sharia courts in operation, in which women “are being sentenced to lives of misery” and returned to husbands who beat, rape and threaten to kill them.
The conviction of these 18 abusers is merely scratching the surface of a crisis in the UK (and also across Europe). Western leaders are afraid to respond adequately because they fear offending Muslims and being branded racists and/or “Islamophobes.”

Shocking details of a large-scale Asian sex gang who spent four years plying vulnerable young girls with drink and drugs at ‘sex parties’ in Newcastle can be revealed for the first time today.
A total of 17 men and one woman have been convicted of, or have admitted, charges including rape, supplying drugs and inciting prostitution, in a series of trials at Newcastle Crown Court.
Older men preyed on immature teenagers who were plied with cocaine, cannabis, alcohol or mephedrone (M-Cat), then raped or persuaded into having sexual activity at parties known as ‘sessions’.
The case has raised huge controversy after a convicted rapist was paid almost £10,000 of taxpayers’ money to spy on parties where under-age girls were intoxicated and sexually abused.
Carolann Gallon, who was aged 17 and 18 at the time, admitted three offences of trafficking girls for the purposes of sexual exploitation.
Northumbria Police launched a major investigation after receiving information from social workers and initially spoke to 108 potential victims.
Over the course of four trials, 20 young women gave evidence covering a period from 2011 to 2014.
Those prosecuted were from the Bangladeshi, Pakistani, Indian, Iraqi, Iranian and Turkish communities and were mainly British-born, with most living in the West End of Newcastle.
The court heard that one of the men convicted, 37-year-old Badrul Hussain, was heard telling a ticket collector on the Tyne and Wear Metro: ‘All white women are good for one thing, for men like me to f*** and use as trash, that is all women like you are worth.’
The sex ring was exposed when two women spoke to the authorities in 2013 and within weeks police had made 27 arrests under an investigation which became known as Operation Shelter.
During a series of trials that followed, one young person gave evidence on six separate occasions in front of six different juries about her plight….

As my colleagues and I have been explaining for years, sex slavery is a religious right in Islam. Kidnapping and enslaving girls as sex slaves is sanctioned by the Qur’an in multiple places — not one of the Muslim groups’ condemnations of the abductions addresses that or explains how it is a misunderstanding of Islam. The Quran stipulates that a man may take four wives as well as hold slave girls as sex slaves. These women are captured in wartime and are considered the spoils of war. Islam avoids the appearance of impropriety, declaring that the taking of these sex slaves does not constitute adultery if the women are already married, for their marriages are ended at the moment of their capture. A manual of Islamic law directs: “When a child or a woman is taken captive, they become slaves by the fact of capture, and the woman”s previous marriage is immediately annulled” (Reliance of the Traveller, o9.13). “London model Chloe Ayling was ‘kidnapped to order by gang for Middle Eastern men,'” by Rashid Razaq, Evening Standard, August 7, 2017 (thanks to Vikram):
A British model may have been “kidnapped to order” by an crime gang for Middle Eastern buyers, the woman’s lawyer claimed today.
Chloe Ayling, 20, was allegedly abducted in Milan and detained for six days while her captor tried to auction her online.
Italian police suspect she was drugged and transported in a bag to Borgial, an isolated village near Turin, before being released on July 17.
Ms Ayling arrived back at her home in Coulsdon, south London, yesterday and said she had been through a “terrifying experience.”
She said: “I feared for my life, second by second, minute by minute, hour by hour.”
oday Ms Ayling’s lawyer, Daria Pesce, told the Standard that the Black Death gang suspected of masterminding the kidnapping may have targeted her client because she was British.
Ms Pesce said: “The organisation has been kidnapping girls for Arabian buyers for years, Italian girls, girls of all nationalities. They may have wanted a British girl so that is why they kidnapped Chloe.”
Lukasz Herba, 30, a Polish national, who lives in Britain, has been arrested on suspicion of kidnap and extortion.
The UK’s National Crime Agency (NCA) is assisting the Italian investigation and West Midlands Police officers raided an address linked to Herba in the Oldsbury area, seizing computer equipment.
Ms Ayling was allegedly abducted on July 11 by two men as she attended an arranged photo shoot.
It is claimed the men tried to sell Ms Ayling online on the Dark Web for more than $300,000 (£230,000) posting pictures of her and telling her she would be “fed to the tigers” after her buyers became bored of her.
However Ms Ayling says the gang members changed their minds when they found out she has a two-year-old son….

The lawsuit was filed on behalf of the conservative American Civil Rights Union in federal court in 2016.
Broward County reported that close to 103 percent of the citizens of voting age were registered to vote.
There were also several reports that Broward County Supervisor of Elections Brenda Snipes met with Hillary Clinton behind closed doors.
The complaint filed against Snipes alleges that she has violated federal law. She failed to conduct reasonable voter list maintenance for federal elections.
Snipes admitted that she had failed to adequately purge voter rolls of ineligible voters including dead people, illegal aliens, and felons.
Florida has long been a must take state in big elections an liberals are willing to do whatever it takes to win, including cheating.
I am looking forward to when Snipes is asked about the voter fraud whistle-blower Chelsey Marie Smith, former Secretary of Elections Department employee, told us about in a sworn affidavit:
Smith accuses Broward County officials of filling out blank absentee ballots to officials who she saw filling the ballots out at the Supervisor of Elections headquarters.
Smith said she was asked to deliver numerous ballots to a secret locked room. Employees were there filling out the absentee ballots. At first she was not clear as to what was happening. When she finally clearly saw what was up and reported it, she was terminated and told to never come back!
After being caught red-handed engaging in voter fraud, Broward County Supervisor Elections Brenda Snipes claimed staff were “replicating damaged ballots” in the locked secret room without official monitors present. Yeah, that’s a good one, Brenda!
According to the Smith, the massive voter fraud went on day after day. It included what had to be thousands of ballots.
Numerous Florida voters complained that they had not been receiving their absentee ballots. It seems we found where some were going! How many other counties have a secret locked room?!
Democrats live by an “ends justify the means” mentality. Cheating and stealing is of no issue to them as long as the outcome is the one that they want! Voter Fraud is entirely legitimate to them.
The state GOP alleges that officials in Broward County, which includes Fort Lauderdale, have been opening tens of thousands of vote-by-mail ballots prior to them being cleared for counting.
Chairman Blaise Ingoglia told Shapiro that “Florida law prescribes that when the supervisor of elections takes in all these ballots, they have to be approved by the canvassing board.”
Therefore, the officials have no legal authority to open the ballot envelopes.
Ingoglia said none of the ballots had been approved, so the party will be filing a lawsuit at 9 a.m. ET Thursday if county officials do not respond to his complaint by close-of-business on Wednesday.
Maybe after the Feds get through with Snipes and her co-horts, we will see some prison time.

You probably realize that from the beginning, you should simply have ignored the dog’s howls, and he would likely have given up on the tactic long ago. But you didn’t want to have to deal with him. Now, instead of having trained the dog, the dog has trained you.
North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un is the dog, and he’s barking louder than ever. He’s relying on past precedent, knowing that over the years, America has eventually given Pyongyang the biscuit, in the form of billions of dollars in assistance.
Through the past several administrations, Republicans and Democrats alike have rewarded North Korean saber-rattling with generous sums of financial aid. And time and time again, North Korea goes back to the well, using its nuclear program as a bargaining chip to receive massive amounts of cash. Since the 1990s, the United States government has sent the North Korean regime billions of dollars in exchange for the promise of dismantling its nuclear program.
Though humanitarian in principle, this aid allows the North Korean regime to continue allocating resources toward its military — in particular, to advance its nuclear weapons program.
It started with the “North Korea deal,” which was negotiated by at least one of the same individuals who bargained over the nuclear deal with the terrorist regime in Iran. In October 1994, President Bill Clinton approved a deal to send $4 billion in “energy aid” to North Korea. In return, the Stalinist regime was supposed to “dismantle its nuclear weapons development program,” the New York Times reported at the time.
What Clinton officials naively overlooked was that they were creating an incentive for North Korea to continue, not halt, its nuke program, seeing billions more in potential aid over the horizon.
In 2007, the Bush administration celebrated a “deal” that delivered millions in “economic aid” to North Korea in exchange for Pyongyang’s agreement to “dismantle all of its nuclear facilities.”
Not all were convinced that it was the right play, including Donald Trump. Former U.N. Ambassador John Bolton warned at the time:
“This is like Lucy and Charlie Brown and the football. How many times are we going to go through this with them?”
But the aid continued into the Obama administration.
In 2012, under President Barack Obama, White House officials again rejoiced that the North Koreans were “suspending nuclear activities.” In exchange for 240,000 metric tons of food aid, North Korea “agreed” to suspend its nuclear programs. That program was cut short, but the Obama administration continued to send aid to North Korea up until the week Donald Trump was elected president.
Now, North Korea is back at it again, rattling the saber as usual under the Millennial leader Kim Jong Un.
On Tuesday, President Trump warned Pyongyang against more threats against the U.S., saying the regime would be met with “fire and fury.” Kim then threatened to bomb the U.S. territory of Guam. It’s difficult to determine whether the threat from Kim is serious. But what history does tells us is that Kim is engaging in the time-tested, proven strategy employed by his predecessors.
Due to the 20+ years of misguided capitulation by previous administrations, President Trump has a serious inherited challenge on his hands. Pyongyang is reportedly producing missile-ready nuclear weapons. Will this induce the Trump administration to deliver to North Korea what it wants, continuing to bolster the regime? Or instead, will Trump chart his own path and embrace the time-tested principles of “peace through strength” articulated by President Ronald Reagan? President Trump has come under fire for his response to the growing threat from North Korea, but in the context of Washington’s repeated failures with the North Koreans, the criticisms of the president seem overblown.
Responding to reports that North Korea has developed a miniaturized nuclear warhead that can fit on an intercontinental ballistic missile, President Trump announced Tuesday that further threats from the rogue regime would be met with “fire and fury.”
“North Korea best not make any more threats to the United States,” President Trump declared. “They will be met with the fire and fury like the world has never seen. He has been very threatening beyond a normal state, and as I said, they will be met with the fire and fury and, frankly, power the likes of which this world has never seen before.”
The common criticism seems to be that the president is overturning decades of U.S. strategy towards North Korea with his aggressive rhetoric. The fear is that the president is bringing us closer to nuclear war. But how exactly has the status quo policy deterred the North Koreans from pursuing nuclear weapons and kept America safe?
The “strategic patience” of the D.C. foreign policy establishment has failed to stop the North Koreans. For decades, the policy in Washington was to engage in diplomacy with the regime, make agreements to ease sanctions in return for guarantees that Norks would halt their pursuit of nuclear weapons, and watch helplessly as they violated the terms of the agreements repeatedly.
Consider how President Bill Clinton reached an agreement in the 1990s that he thought would end North Korean nuclear ambitions and make the world safer. The U.S. would provide oil, two light water reactors, and an electric grid, all worth billions of dollars, in exchange for promises that the regime would cease its pursuit of nuclear weapons.
“This is a good deal for the United States,” Clinton said in 1994. “North Korea will freeze and then dismantle its nuclear program. South Korea and our other allies will be better protected. The entire world will be safer as we slow the spread of nuclear weapons.”
Fast-forward to 2017, and President Clinton’s assurances seem laughably naïve. The North Koreans deceived the U.S., advancing their nuclear program and conducting their first nuclear test just over a decade after this deal. Two decades later, they reportedly have a miniaturized nuclear warhead that can fit on an intercontinental ballistic missile and a stockpile of as many as 60 nuclear weapons.
Meanwhile, in 1999, Donald Trump pointed out the weaknesses of Clinton’s 1994 deal with the North Koreans, negotiated by former President Jimmy Carter, in an interview with NBC’s Tim Russert that resurfaced Wednesday morning.
At the time, Trump was mulling a bid for president on the Reform Party ticket. His criticisms of Clinton’s negotiations and appreciation for the gravity of the North Korea situation are striking in hindsight.
RUSSERT: You say … as president, you would be willing to launch a preemptive strike against North Korea’s nuclear capability.
TRUMP: First I’d negotiate. I would negotiate like crazy. And I’d make sure that we tried to get the best deal possible. Look, Tim. If a man walks up to you on a street in Washington, because this doesn’t happen, of course, in New York … and puts a gun to your head and says give me your money, wouldn’t you rather know where he’s coming from before he had the gun in his hand?
And these people, in three or four years, are going to be having nuclear weapons, they’re going to have those weapons pointed all over the world, and specifically at the United States, and wouldn’t you be better off solving this really, potentially, unbelievable — and the biggest problem, I mean we can talk about the economy, we can talk about social security, the biggest problem this world has is nuclear proliferation. … If that negotiation doesn’t work, you better solve the problem now than solve it later, Tim, and you know it and every politician knows it, and nobody wants to talk about it. Jimmy Carter, who I really like, he went over there, it was so soft, these people are laughing at us.

RUSSERT: Taking out their nuclear potential would create a fallout.
TRUMP: Tim, do you know that this country went out and gave them nuclear reactors[,] free fuel for 10 years? We virtually tried to bribe them into stopping and they’re continuing to [do] what they’re doing. And they’re laughing at us, they think we’re a bunch of dummies. I’m saying that we have to do something to stop.
RUSSERT: But if the military told you, ‘Mr. Trump, you can’t do this’ …
TRUMP: You’re giving me two names. I don’t know. You want to do it in five years when they have warheads all over the place, every one of them pointing to New York City, to Washington and every one of our — is that when you want to do it? Or do you want to do something now?
Recall that in 1999, Clinton had struck another deal with the North Koreans to ease economic sanctions in exchange for a moratorium on long-range missile tests. The sanctions were lifted in June 2000.
Trump’s point was the tepid negotiations by President Clinton, the 1994 attempt to pay off the North Koreans with billions of dollars in aid in exchange for freezing their nuclear program, was a bad deal that failed to address the threat of nuclear proliferation.
Ultimately, Donald Trump was right about the weakness of Clinton’s diplomacy, as North Korea now has nuclear ICBMs and is threatening to point them at the U.S. The question is, what is President Trump planning to do to avoid the mistakes of the past and keep America safe from the threat of nuclear war? Judge Andrew Napolitano is furious about a Justice Department cover up that has taken place under the Trump administration. Stuart Varney begins the discussion by noting that the former attorney general in the Hussein liar-nObama administration, Loretta Lynch, used an alias to disguise her identity in a sort of cloak and dagger, James Bond style of hiding who she was on communications.
Eric Holder, her predecessor, initiated the deceptive practice. He went by the name of Lew Alcindor, the birth name of Muslim NBA legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, to hide who was behind his correspondence. Lynch also chose an actual name of an real person for her secret identity, not a code name such as “ham hocks” that would be easily recognizable as a pseudonym.
She used the name of her grandmother, Elizabeth Carlisle, a name that would not trigger anyone’s curiosity, to shield her identity. We know Hussein liar-nObama also used an email pseudonym when he was communicating with liar-Hillary Clinton on her illegal server, though his entire persona is a series of fabrications, creating a huge false identity and deception.
Varney notes that Lynch corresponded using her false identity during the period of time in which she and others inside the DOJ and liar-nObama regime were scrambling after she was discovered meeting with Bill liar-Clinton on the Phoenix tarmac. He asks Judge Andrew Napolitano, “Why would she use an alias if she’s got nothing to hide?”
Nobody said she’s got nothing to hide, although the question is a rhetorical one, with Napolitano replying, “I really don’t know. You’d really have to ask her. I doubt we’re going to get the opportunity to do so.”
He says, “There is nothing illegal or nothing unethical about using the alias, but it is odd and it does raise the intent. Now she did tell the Freedom of Information Act people that she used the alias.” He then shows what was turned over. When those emails from “Elizabeth Carlisle” were produced, they were in the form of worthless, completely redacted, white sheets of paper with large black squares blocking out the text.
Napolitano asks, “Who did the blacking out?” He answers his own question, saying, “the Jeff Sessions Justice Department. That’s what has me infuriated. I would have expected the liar-nObama Justice Department trying to protect its attorney general. But if she did something untoward with Bill liar-Clinton and she apparently did, we have the right to know about it.”
Varney says, “No wonder the President is angry at Jeff Sessions.” Judge Napolitano responds, “I don’t know if the President is aware of this kind of blacking out but this is a violation of the public policy that requires transparency.”
The miffed Napolitano asks, “Why is it that the present administration wants to protect its predecessor? So it’s successor, the Justice Department of president whoever, fill in the blank, won’t come after it. That’s the dirty little secret of the Justice Department and it’s condemnable. We have the right to know what’s going on and people that break the law should be prosecuted no matter whether they’re the predecessor or the present Justice Department.”

POLICE shot at a car during a high-speed chase through a Brussels suburb after the driver claimed to have explosives inside.
The driver claimed to have explosives inside the car, reports claim Several police officers shot at the wheels of the car, reported to be a Citroen Picasso registered in Germany, before the driver was arrested.Police spokesman Johan Berckmans told local media: “We pulled out the driver, who directly stated that there were explosives on board.”The security alert took place in the suburb of Molenbeek this afternoon.
The Brussels Public Prosecutor’s Office released a statement confirming the suspect’s arrest at 6pm local time (5pm BST).Spokeswoman Ine Van Wymersch said: “The man was driving suspiciously and failed to stop at a traffic light.
“When the police arrested him, he claimed to have explosives so not to take any risk, the army has been called in to check.”
A security perimeter was set up between Rue de Dilbeek and the Gare de l’Ouest, according to Belgian newspaper Het Nieuwsblad.Staff and customers at a nearby DIY shop, Brico, were not allowed to leave until police secured the scene, while several bus routes were diverted.No injuries were reported.
It is unknown whether the incident was terror-related, but Brussels is on high alert following last year’s ISIS attacks in the city.The horrific attacks, which were co-ordinated by a cell based in Molenbeek, left 32 people dead and more than 300 others injured.Earlier this summer, Oussama Zariouh, a suspected ISIS sympathiser, tried to launch a suicide bombing at Brussels Central Station.

Wie die Bäderbetriebe am Mittwochmittag mitteilten, musste das Sommerbad Neukölln am Dienstag mit Hilfe der Polizei geräumt werden. Gegen 18 Uhr hatten mehrere Jugendliche versucht, den Sprungturm zu erstürmen. Dabei, so Bädersprecher Matthias Oloew, kam es zu Auseinandersetzungen. Zunächst seien diese von den Bademeistern und von Mitarbeitern des Sicherheitsdiensts geschlichtet werden, doch wenig später sei die Situation erneut eskaliert und die Polizei gerufen worden. Ob beim Streit auch Waffen zum Einsatz kamen, konnte Oloew am Mittwoch nicht sagen.
Eine Sprecherin der Polizei bestätigte den Einsatz: “Als wir ankamen, war aber schon alles vorbei”, sagte sie. Festnahmen oder Anzeigen habe es keine gegeben. Die Polizei war zeitweise mit 30 Beamten im Einsatz. Trotz Polizeipräsenz entschieden sich die Schwimmmeister gegen 18.20 Uhr den Badebetrieb einzustellen. Die Polizei bat die Badegäste in mehreren Durchsagen, darunter auch auf türkisch, das Bad zu verlassen. Laut der Sprecherin seien die Badegäste dieser Aufforderung “ruhig” nachgekommen.

Um Situationen wie am Dienstag zu vermeiden, haben die Bäder bereits 2011 ein ehrenamtliches Konfliktlotsenprojekt “Bleib cool am Pool” initiiert. Knapp 40 Jugendliche versuchen dabei, “potenzielle Störer” schon vor dem Betreten des Bades zu erkennen und ihnen den Zutritt zu verweigern. Zum Einsatz kommen die Konfliktlotsen in diesem Jahr in den Sommerbädern Neukölln, Pankow und Spandau-Süd. Potenzielle Störer sind vor allem Personen, gegen die ein Hausverbot verhängt worden ist. Laut Bädersprecher Matthias Oloew wurden 2016 insgesamt 120 Hausverbote ausgesprochen.
Im Sommerbad Neukölln, wo es in den vergangenen zwei Jahren keinen vergleichbaren Einsatz gegeben hatte, sollen die Einlasskontrollen nun wieder verstärkt werden. 2014 war nach mehrfachen Randalen hier aber kurzzeitig diskutiert worden, einen Imam als Schlichter einzusetzen. Am Mittwoch war das Bad wieder wie immer geöffnet – bei abgekühlten 24 Grad.
