Peace is possible only if those seeking it want it... the Eukrain has a long social and COMMERCIAL relationship with Russia... and the restoration of trade, commerce, and cultural interests of both... are key to the formula for PEACE.

A list of commercial and social grievances, on both sides, is at the root of this war (it's a civil war) The grievances of both nations can be resolved through negotiation.  Both parties need to be willing to open discussions that lead to solutions that both belligerents can agree on.  For Russia an unrestricted commercial path to the Black and Caspian Seas, through the Donbas.  

Any solution must involve the restoration of the former shared commercial interests and access to the resources in the Donbas region.  Ukraine's borders must be restored and its national soverignty guaranteed by Russia.

This war is complicated by the commercial and cultural interests of the world's oligarchs in the region's raw materials... it's about gaining access to the raw materials and the geo-political position once held as part of The Russian Federation and the former USSR. 

Third-party oligarchs and commercial Interests want to regulate access to the Donbas region... and its rare earth and other raw materials found there.  These third-party interests are working to force Ukraine and Russia to accept peace on their term. Terms THEY can use to control the resources in the region... it is complicated.

WASHINGTON — Attorney General Pam Bondi revealed Thursday that “thousands of pages” of documents in the FBI’s investigation into the sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein were withheld from her.

And she’s demanding that they be turned over by Friday morning.

Bondi, 59, disclosed in a letter to FBI Director Kash Patel a tipster said that all but “approximately 200 pages of documents” were still being kept secret at the FBI’s office in New York — despite her repeated requests for the “full” Epstein files.

The initial batch included flight logs, phone numbers and the names of victims, but a source in the FBI’s New York office reached out and said that hundreds additional documents were not included.

“By 8:00 a.m. tomorrow, February 28, the FBI will deliver the full and complete Epstein files to my office, including all records, documents, audio and video recordings, and materials related to Jeffrey Epstein and his clients, regardless of how such information was obtained,” Bondi said.

“There will be no withholdings or limitations to my or your access,” she vowed to Patel.

Rep. Andy Ogles (R-Tenn.) has floated a bill to prevent non-public records on Epstein housed at the Department of Justice from being destroyed, according to a copy of a letter obtained by The Post.

Ogles, 53, wrote to Bondi on Wednesday, announcing that he was “drafting legislation entitle the Preventing Epstein Documentation Obliteration Act, or the PEDO Act” following “reports that certain FBI agents are allegedly attempting to destroy critical records.”

“Should you encounter any statutory barriers to the expeditious public release of Jeffrey Epstein’s client list or other pertinent information related to his activities — to include circumstances in which any such documentation is housed in other federal agencies — I stand ready to assist,” he said.

“Our constituents deserve nothing less than radical transparency in matters implicating the integrity of our justice system,” he added in the missive, which was first reported by Fox News.

A former FBI special agent had suggested the Epstein files could be among documents during a recent interview on the conservative influencer Benny Johnson’s podcast.

“There are FBI servers,” said ex-agent-turned-whistleblower Garret O’Boyle, “and people inside the FBI have been working night and day to destroy files on these servers.”

“No idea on what it is — I can only speculate — but you mentioned the Epstein list,” he added. “I’d imagine it’s cases like that.”

The FBI currently has hundreds of Epstein files available to the public on its website, but The Post previously scooped that the Justice Department was preparing to release 100 pages of the notorious criminal’s personal address book on Thursday, according to a source who reviewed the file.

Bondi had hinted on Fox News “Jesse Watters Primetime” that the DOJ was going to release “some Epstein information,” while adding the fact that details of the financier’s abuse of more than 250 victims “will make you sick.”

Conservative influencers were received at the White House and presented with “Phase 1” of the Epstein files release, emerging from the West Wing Thursday afternoon to brandish the binders at the press without immediately disclosing any details.

Ogles in his letter to Bondi also claimed a “decades-long obfuscation campaign” had withheld full details on investigations into the assassinations of President John F. Kennedy, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy.

The effect of that “has clearly marginalized trust in our institutions and has contributed to all sorts of alternative theories and motivations regarding the deaths of these men,” he said.

Another Tennessee lawmaker has also pushed for the full release of the Epstein files.

“For years, my efforts to crack the Epstein trafficking ring wide open have been stonewalled by Democrats at every turn,” Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.) posted Monday on X.

“This will change under [FBI Director Kash Patel]. I just sent him a letter asking for the complete & unredacted Epstein files.”

In his confirmation hearing, Patel committed to Blackburn that he would “do everything” to reveal the “full weight” of “what happened” in Epstein’s child sex trafficking ring.

The FBI did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

It was not a good day for the Trump Justice Department. No major scandal erupted, but this Jeffrey Epstein document dump, which Attorney General Pam Bondi claimed would contain some sick stuff, was hardly newsworthy. Almost everything was public knowledge, the lion's share coming from documents submitted into evidence during Ghislaine Maxwell’s trial a couple of years ago. Maxwell was Epstein’s right-hand woman who facilitated the child sex trafficking antics, which made the New York financier infamous before his ‘suicide’ in August of 2019. Epstein is a convicted child sex predator, but his ties to the wealthy and powerful allowed him to escape justice for years.

This tweet comes as there are allegations of shady business occurring at the Southern District of New York, where damning Epstein documents might be getting buried intentionally. Liz Wheeler noted that Bondi reportedly already knows something is off since 200 pages contained nothing of substance regarding Mr. Epstein. Yet, she promised documents, so she gave us some, albeit already public information. It sounds like the SDNY needs house cleaning, and Patel and Bondi will do that if necessary. 

Let’s hope this was merely a misfire, which happens, because the document dump today and later this evening from Bondi’s office were as anti-climactic as you can get.

The Justice Department on Thursday evening released a long-awaited trove of documents related to notorious sex predator Jeffrey Epstein, including his contact list, flight logs and a list of evidence the government amassed against him. 

But the much-hyped, roughly 200-page document dump provided no big revelations, instead listing celebrities and politicians who were already known to have palled around with the notorious pedophile.  

Attorney General Pam Bondi claimed a witness told her that the FBI Field Office in New York has thousands of pages worth of outstanding documents and demanded the bureau fork over that material so that she can disclose it to the public. 

Among the famous names in Epstein’s contact list released by the Department of Justice Thursday: Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger, Michael Jackson, actor Alec Baldwin, Ethel Kennedy (the mother of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.), former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, supermodel Naomi Campbell and rocker Courtney Love.

Others include Harvey Weinstein’s brother Bob Weinstein, industrialist David Koch, the late Sen. Ted Kennedy (D-Mass.), actor Ralph Fiennes, Kerry Kennedy, lawyer Alan Dershowitz, John Kerry, actor Dustin Hoffman, businessman Jon Huntsman, Ivana Trump, Ivanka Trump, and model Liz Hurley. President Trump’s name was not in the contact list.

The list is not “a client list,” but includes names of people on Epstein’s vast contact list.

While the names on the contact list were revealed, their addresses and contact information were redacted.

The vast majority of names on the list — if not all of them — had been previously reported in the years of lawsuits and document leaks in the case.

In addition to the contact list, the DOJ released a redacted list of the masseuses, whose names were blacked out because they were victims. There were 254 names on that list. 

Also in the binder were Epstein’s “Lolita Express” private jet flight logs — which have previously been made public with redactions. One section of the binder was completely redacted as it contained the names of Epstein’s victims.

The logs showed pilot David Rodgers’ signature for the flights. Rodgers has previously testified in court about what he witnessed during his time flying Epstein around. 

Two copies of Epstein’s “little black book” had already been made public with 349 names of associates from the 1990s. One copy went up for auction.

A source who reviewed a binder containing the first tranche of information — called “phase one” — said Thursday’s release would likely be a “disappointment” for anyone hoping for bombshell revelations about any potential damning ties of high-profile politicians and business leaders to the sick sex trafficker.

It was not immediately known if there would be further Epstein-related information dumps, but the binder’s name implied there could be additional “phases.”

The “Phase One” binder was provided to 15 conservative influencers prior to being released to the public.

“Now what’s interesting is we’re all waiting for bombshells,” podcaster Liz Wheeler told followers in a livestream on X. “We’re all waiting for juicy stuff. And that’s not what’s in this binder. That’s not what’s in this binder at all. And that’s exactly how the attorney general presented it to us.”

“It’s fine to feel frustrated,” she added. “You should feel frustrated.”

Critics such as Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-Fla.), who leads a House GOP task force on government transparency, quickly demanded more information.

“I nor the task force were given or reviewed the Epstein documents being released today … A NY Post story just revealed that the documents will simply be Epstein’s phonebook,” Luna tweeted.

“THIS IS NOT WHAT WE OR THE AMERICAN PEOPLE ASKED FOR and a complete disappointment. GET US THE INFORMATION WE ASKED FOR!”

Bondi has given the FBI a deadline of Friday to cough up the outstanding material. 

“The first phase of files released today sheds light on Epstein’s extensive network and begins to provide the public with long overdue accountability,” she said in a public statement. 

FBI Director Kash Patel vowed “there will be no cover-ups, no missing documents, and no stone left unturned” and that anyone “who undermines this will be swiftly pursued.”

“If records have been hidden, we will uncover them,” he added. “And we will bring everything we find to the DOJ to be fully assessed and transparently disseminated to the American people as it should be.”

Epstein’s notorious “little black book” first came to light in a 2009 court case and was then publicized by the since-defunct site Gawker in 2015.

That book, dated 2004 and 2005, had notable entries including former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, Jagger, Prince Andrew, Andrew Cuomo, Baldwin, singer Jimmy Buffet, Koch and former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger.

The book containing Epstein’s contacts from the ’90s surfaced years later and contained 349 names, 221 of which weren’t in the book released in 2015, including President Trump, billionaire New York businessman John Catsimatidis and Melania Trump’s best friend and co-owner of the New York Jets Suzanne Ircha.

Other names included billionaire activist investor Carl Icahn, Chris Cuomo’s wife Cristina Greeven, ex-Playboy CEO Christie Hefner and Marty Peretz, ex-New Republic publisher and former political mentor to Al Gore.

No one listed is accused of any wrongdoing tied to Epstein.

The book from the ’90s was found on Fifth Avenue in the East Village by a woman who auctioned it off on eBay for $425 to Vermont social studies teacher Christopher Helali. Helali is putting the book on auction in March with hopes it’ll fetch as much as $50,000.

The multimillionaire sex offender pleaded guilty in Florida in 2008 to child prostitution crimes and was given a hush-hush sweetheart plea deal that only saw him serve 13 months in jail on a cushy work-release program.

He was arrested again by prosecutors in Manhattan on sex-trafficking charges and hanged himself in a Lower Manhattan lockup while he was awaiting trial.

His right-hand woman, Ghislaine Maxwell, was later convicted in the same sex-trafficking case and is serving 20 years behind bars.

At some point, some president was going to have to stop the unsustainable spending and borrowing.

To have any country left, some president would eventually have had to restore a nonexistent border and stop the influx of 3 million illegal aliens a year.

Some commander-in-chief finally would have to try to stop the theater wars abroad.

But any president who dared to do any of that would be damned for curbing the madness that his predecessors fueled.

And so none did -- until now.

Not since Franklin Roosevelt's rapid and mass implementation of the New Deal administrative state have Americans seen such radical changes so quickly as now in Trump's first month of governance.

Americans are watching a long-awaited counter-revolution to bring the country out of its madness by restoring the common sense of the recent past.

It is easy to run up massive debts and hard to pay them back. Politicians profit by handing out grants and hiring thousands with someone else's money or creating new programs by growing the debt.

Yet it is unpopular and considered "mean" to spend only what you have and to create a lean, competent workforce.

1776, not 1619, is the foundational date of America.

Biological men should not manipulate their greater size and strength to undermine the hard-won accomplishments of women athletes.

Affordable fossil fuels, when used wisely, are still essential to modern prosperity.

American education must remain empirical and inductive, not regress into indoctrination and deduction. If college campuses no longer abide by the Bill of Rights, then perhaps they should pay taxes on income from their endowments and guarantee their own student loans.

If American citizens are arrested and arraigned for violent assaults, destroying property, and resisting arrest, then surely foreign students who break the laws of their hosts should be held to the same account --  and if guilty, go home.

Tribalism and racialism, and government spoils allotted by superficial appearances, are the marks of a pre-civilized society. Such racialism leads only to endless factions and discord.

It is easy to destroy a border, and hard to reconstruct it. And it was not Trump who invited in 12 million unaudited illegal aliens, a half million of them criminals.

Who is the real culprit in the Defense Department -- the new secretary with the hard task of restoring the idea among depleted ranks that our race, religion, and gender are incidental, not essential, to defeating the enemy and ensuring our national security?

Is it really wise to divert money from needed combat units and weapons to indoctrinate recruits with social and cultural agendas that do not enhance, but likely undermine, our national defenses?

Who is the real callous actor -- Elon Musk, who is trying to prevent the country from insolvency by eliminating fraud and waste, or those who bloated the bureaucracy in the first place with jobs and subsidies for their constituents, friends, clients, and fellow ideologues?

No one likes to fire FBI agents.

That certainly is an unpleasant job for the new FBI Director, Kash Patel.

But again, who are the true culprits who so cavalierly turned a hallowed agenda into a weaponized tool to warp elections, harass political enemies, lie under oath, surveil parents at school board meetings, doctor court documents, and protect insider friends?

Massive borrowing is an opiate addiction that needs shock treatment, not more deficits to break the habit. An unchecked administrative state becomes an organic organism that exists only to grow larger, more powerful, and more resistant to any who seek to curb it.

Yet those who brought the cultural revolution of the last years are now screaming that it is unfair to restore what they undermined. It is as if a patient blames only the tough chemotherapy and not the invasive cancer that it seeks to cure.

Most of the Trump people are not high-fiving while firing people. They are not laying off miners or frackers and directing them to go "code" or dismissing half the country as "deplorables."

The left screams that those who are tasked with balancing a budget and pruning back a strangling bureaucracy are heartless.

No, the pitiless are those who recklessly sought to hire with borrowed money and fire people on the basis of their race, used federal programs to feather their own nests, and harassed and arrested those for their politics.

No SWAT teams are now raiding the homes of ex-presidents.

No one is trying to take a presidential rival off state ballots.

No one is coordinating local, state, and federal prosecutors to indict, harass, and bankrupt an ex-president.

And no president -- his dementia sheathed by political insiders and a toadish media -- is working three days a week, avoiding press conferences, or stonewalling reporters' questions.

No wonder the current normal seems abnormal to the status quo of the recent past.
