Greetings everyone, and Happy New Year. Welcome to a new year for our weekly constitutional briefs, meant to inspire thought and share perspectives and insights.

Boy howdy, are we off to a start in this new year, 2026, where we will celebrate 250 years of American independence. Unfortunately, our dear Marxist leftist friends would prefer our embracing the “warmth of collectivism” instead of honoring the “rugged individualism” that fought and built this great Nation. Delusional socialists like Zohran Mamdani need to read the Declaration of Independence and refresh themselves on the fact that America was established on the premise of individual sovereignty because our individual, not collective, rights emanate from the Judeo-Christian faith heritage God and Creator…not government. As well, government exists based upon the consent of the governed, rugged individuals, not collective mindless lemmings.

Speaking of NYC Mayor Mamdani, I found it interesting that in his first week in the job, he would think so highly of himself as to call President Trump to express his disagreement with the operation in Venezuela to bring a socialist dictator to justice. Then again, none of us should be surprised, since maniacal socialists tend to flock together, and they just don’t like it when one of their own gets their wings clipped. I am sure Mamdani will be expressing his support for the mullahs of Iran soon. But it is Mamdani, and the rest of the leftist gang, who are raising their voices in anger in reference to the impeccable military raid into Venezuela that highlights, once again, their hypocrisy.

Leftist outlets continue to ring out about the constitutionality of the operation to apprehend Venezuelan dictator Nicolas Maduro. I did find it interesting that the New York Times had an op-ed that actually agreed with Maduro being removed. Needless to say, we can go back to December 1989 and Operation Just Cause in Panama to apprehend one Manuel Noriega as a precedent. Truthfully, we can go even farther back to the early 1800s when the Barbary pirates were attacking and seizing American ships and citizens on the high seas. Thomas Jefferson was the President then and dispatched our US Navy and Marines against Pasha Karamanli as he demanded tribute from America.

Under Article II powers of the Constitution, the President, as Commander-in-Chief of our Armed Forces, is charged with the protection of our Country. This is something that Joe Biden did not do, and enabled one Nicolas Maduro to infiltrate criminal gangs, Tren de Aragua, and massive amounts of illicit drugs into our Nation. The result was the deaths, assaults, rapes, and crimes perpetrated against hundreds of thousands of Americans. At no time did we EVER hear voices from the left speaking out against the unconstitutional open borders policy of the Biden administration. And, to this day, we have leftists who are assailing and promoting the assault of our law enforcement officers who are enforcing the law and removing criminal illegal immigrants from our land.

Senator Chuck Schumer is ranting about the War Powers Act; he did no such thing, as Barack Hussein Obama was outsourcing our military to Islamic jihadist groups in Libya to oust Muammar Gaddafi. And, when those same groups attacked sovereign US territory, our Benghazi consulate, killing an American Ambassador, a State Department communications employee, and two former Navy SEALS…well, SecState Hillary Clinton said, “What difference at this point does it make?”

The military operation into Venezuela was indeed moral, just, and constitutional. Just a reminder, it was Joe Biden who issued an illegal, immoral, unlawful, and unconstitutional order to our men and women in uniform to be stuck in their arms with an experimental drug. The operation into Venezuela was a narrow, precise, strike operation, a raid, no different from the raid to kill Osama Bin Laden, or the failed raid, hostage rescue, operational debacle known as Desert One in the Carter administration. At no point has war been declared against Venezuela, and we are not advancing a force of occupation into Venezuela.

When the non-state, non-uniformed, unlawful combatant, Pancho Villa, launched an attack into the United States, Columbus, New Mexico, killing 16 Americans, Woodrow Wilson dispatched the US Army into Mexico on a “punitive raid” operation to capture Villa. Nicolas Maduro has done far worse to American citizens in his support and benefitting from alliances with narco-terrorists, and dispatching criminal gangs into our Country. Young, twelve-year-old Jocelyn Nungaray of Houston, Texas was killed by two Tren de Aragua members. Never forget that!

Leftists who are ranting about the constitutionality of the Venezuelan operation need to grasp the hypocrisy of which they speak. Of course, they will not, because Hugo Chavez and Nicolas Maduro are of their own. Funny, the Marxist left parade about America chanting about “No Kings,” yet when America, the Trump administration, removes a brutal tyrant and dictator that they even quipped was illegitimate, they support the dictator.

That, my friends, should tell us all we need to know about the left, our Constitution, and what they truly embrace.

The global left is not a political movement; it is a parasitic organism that feeds on the foundations of sovereign nations.

For decades, it has operated as the primary architect of chaos, hiding behind the veneers of “human rights” and “social justice” while systematically empowering the most regressive forces on the planet.

From the destruction of Imperial Iran to the current subversion of the United States, the left’s objective remains constant: the eradication of excellence, nobility, and national identity.

To understand the left’s methodology, one must look at the 1979 catastrophe in Iran.

The global left, in a fit of ideological hysteria, abandoned a modernizing, secular, and noble monarchy to facilitate the rise of a medieval theocracy. They traded the Pahlavi nobility — a symbol of Iranian dignity and rapid advancement — for the charlatanism of Ruhollah Khomeini.

The left-wing media and intellectual apparatus did not just report on the revolution; they curated it. They took a parasitic cleric and packaged him as a “saintly” figure to the Western world.

In doing so, they deliberately suppressed the legacy of figures like Gen. Nader Jahanbani, the “Blue Eyed General,” who represented the pinnacle of Iranian honor and military brilliance. By helping the Islamists execute the elite of the Iranian military and aristocracy, the global left ensured that Iran would be transformed from a regional powerhouse into a hub for global terror.

The left’s hatred for Iranian history and dignity continues today through their selection of “symbols.” They ignore the true underground resistance that seeks a return to nationalistic roots and instead elevate “activists” like Narges Mohammadi and a cultist, Islamist-Marxist MEK leader, Maryam Rajavi.

These figures are hand-picked by the global leftist establishment because they do not threaten the status quo but merely act as a safety valve, ensuring that the discourse remains trapped within the left’s approved framework of “reform” rather than total liberation and the restoration of Iranian pride.

This is a recurring theme: the left mocks the proud history of the Great Civilization and replaces it with a curated gallery of victims and “reformers” who are, in reality, extensions of the same ideological rot. They want an Iran that is weak, perpetually “reforming,” and stripped of its Imperial grandeur.

The same machinery that dismantled Iran is currently deployed against the United States and Europe. The global left has moved from the “Red Terror” of the 20th century to a more insidious form of institutional terrorism. By capturing the education systems, the media, and the bureaucracy, they are executing a slow-motion demolition of Western civilization.

The Erasure of Borders: Just as they sought to weaken Iran’s sovereignty, they now demand the total dissolution of Western borders, inviting chaos to dilute national identity.

The War on Merit: The left’s obsession with equity is a direct assault on the concept of the “Nobility of Spirit.” They seek to replace the high-achiever – the Jahanbanis of the world – with the mediocre and the parasitic.

The Funding of Proxies: Through back-channel diplomacy and the loosening of sanctions, the left-wing establishment in the West has effectively funded the very terror networks that threaten global security. The billions of dollars funneled back to Tehran under various “deals” are the lifeblood of global instability.

We are no longer in a phase of political disagreement; we are in a state of existential war. The left’s alliance with Islamists — often called the Red-Green Alliance – is the greatest threat to human survival. By destabilizing the Middle East and weakening the West from within, the left is creating a vacuum that can only be filled by ultimate escalation.

Once a cornerstone of American political life, the Democrat party has transformed into something unrecognizable — a force that now threatens the fabric of the nation.

If the left is not confronted and eradicated from the halls of power, the trajectory is clear: a nuclear-armed theocracy in Iran, emboldened by a hollowed-out West, will eventually trigger a global conflagration. The left’s “diplomacy” is nothing more than a stay of execution while they help the enemies of civilization sharpen their blades.

The solution does not lie in “centrism” or polite debate. You cannot debate a movement that seeks your total humiliation. The path forward requires:

The Restoration of National Identity: Embracing the symbols of nobility and strength, such as the Pahlavi legacy, to counter the left’s cult of victimhood.

The Dismantling of the Leftist Bureaucracy: Removing the ideological parasites from the institutions of power in both the East and the West.

Absolute Zero Tolerance for Terror: Ending the cycle of appeasement that has defined Western foreign policy for decades.

The global left is the true face of modern terror. It provides the intellectual cover, the funding, and the moral justification for the destruction of nations. To save the future, the left must be treated not as a political opponent, but as the existential threat to civilization itself.

OPINION:

New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s newest appointment, Cea Weaver, to the Office to Protect Tenants, once ranted on the then-known Twitter platform that “homeownership is a weapon of white supremacy.”

Oh, boy. And the hits just keep on coming.

With each Cabinet pick, with each agency chief selection, with each mayoral office appointment, Mamdani seems to ratchet the Marxism. So far, he’s got Kamar Samuels as schools chancellor — the guy best known for shoving “integration initiatives” into Manhattan’s education system, a model that put equity above education. He’s got Lillian Bonsignore as commissioner of the city’s fire departments, the lesbian former EMS professional. He’s got Elle Bisgaard-Church for his chief of staff, an anti-Israel, Democratic Socialists of America faithful. He’s got Ramzi Kassem as chief counsel, an attorney who previously defended the openly anti-Israel activist Mahmoud Khalil — oh, and al Qaeda terrorist Ahmed al-Darbi, too.

And now comes Weaver.

As Newsweek wrote, “In a post published in August 2019 on the social media platform then known as Twitter, Weaver wrote: ‘Private property including and kind of ESPECIALLY homeownership is a weapon of white supremacy masquerading as ‘death building’ public policy.’”

Yikes.

Mamdani, in his opening hours as mayor, issued executive orders that revived this Office to Protect Tenants, an agency that was established in 2019 but that had largely stayed quiet. Affordability is its focus.

Whatever that means.

“The affordability agenda starts with the rent,” Weaver said, upon appointment.

She put landlords on notice.

“We are going to hold you accountable to operating [affordable housing] alongside the housing maintenance code. If you can’t do that,” she said, “we are going to offer you money so that you can do it, but you have to make the homes affordable. And if you still don’t do it, we’re going to take it away from you.”

So, landlords will get tax dollars to lower rents, and if they don’t lower rents enough to appease Weaver, then the city will take away their apartments.

Wait for it. Wait for it.

Courts will certainly be called to intervene.

After all, apartments are generally private properties, owned and operated and leased, by private property owners and private companies. America doesn’t actually allow for governments to wrest control of private properties for the cause of “affordability.” America’s public servants can’t simply nationalize housing.

But here’s the face-slapper. Mamdani will successfully redistribute wealth and take from earners’ to pad the pockets of renters; to pad the pockets of landlords; to buy votes. He will also successfully use and abuse tax dollars to boost his socialist programs and spread the socialist cancer even wider across the city, past city boundaries, infecting other states, other jurisdictions, other voting populations with his claim of compassion for all and pity for the poor. And when he is met with court battles for socialism that goes too far, like the seizure of private property rights?

He will use tax dollars to wage the court fight.

In the end, and no matter which way taxpayers turn, Mamdani will successfully strip freedoms and finances. The only unknown is how far his tentacles will reach.

America’s main goal now should be to confine his socialism to the Big Apple and stand back and allow the city to choke and fall on its own failed system. Failure must be the only option — a massive, gasp-worthy failure that is so utterly devastating that voters around the nation flee socialism forever more.

New York City, under Mamdani, is the canary in the socialist coal mine. Better the canary die, so the country can live.

OPINION:

Zohran Mamdani ushered in the new year with a pledge to bring the “warmth of collectivism” to the residents of New York City, for whom he now serves as mayor. 

The only warmth from collectivism comes from the fires of hell.

If socialism is the slower sister of communism, and the common denominator between socialism, communism, Marxism, progressivism and today’s modern Democrat Party is collectivism, which it is, then this headline from the Hudson Institute from way back in 2017 screams necessary truths: “100 Years of Communism — and 100 Million Dead.”

This is what collectivism brings.

This is what Mamdani promises — albeit, he doesn’t see it that way.

He’s a true believer, and he’s a dangerous ideologue, in part because of his prideful belief in himself; that is to say, that somehow, in some way, his particular brand of collectivism will differ from all the other brands of collectivism that have brought nothing but death, misery and poverty to the people who’ve suffered under its government boot. New York City is not immune from the consequences of a collectivist governing structure, however.

New York City can fall in the same manner as any other communist-run community.

That Mamdani is so open about his adoration for collectivism is the bigger problem for all of America, though. Normalizing communism in a country founded on individualism is the mark of destruction.

“Today begins a new era,” Mamdani said, on his swearing-in for New York City’s mayoral office. “Beginning today, we will govern expansively and audaciously. We may not always succeed. But never will we be accused of lacking the courage to try.”

The boot is being raised.

“We will replace the frigidity of rugged individualism with the warmth of collectivism,” Mamdani said in his inaugural address.

The boot is being lowered.

But it cannot squash historical truths.

“Over the last 100 years,” the Wheaton Center for Faith, Politics and Economics posted, in an essay titled “The Death and Rise of Socialism,” by James Otteson, “over two dozen countries have attempted to implement socialist economies. The list includes not just the Soviet Union, Cuba and North Korea, but Yugoslavia, Albania, Poland, Vietnam, Bulgaria, Romania, Venezuela, Somalia, Ethiopia, Cambodia and many others. … In every case, the economies declined or collapsed.”

In every case, innocents died either from starvation or at the murderous hands of their own government officials — all to protect the “for the good of the people” collectivist narrative. Secret police, anyone?

Such to collectivists are necessary. 

“The number cost of communism in USSR, 1917 to 1959, under Vladimir Lenin and Joseph Stalin was 66,700,000, that of the USSR from 1959 to 1978 was 3,000,000 minimum, and that of China 1949 to 1978 at 63,784,000, all but two years under Mao Tse-tung. Another 2,923,700 German civilians were killed during the expulsions of 1945 and 1946,” The Eagle Observer reported in an opinion piece from 2018 titled, “Death by Socialism: Look at the numbers.”

This isn’t to say New York City residents under Mamdani are going to be subjected to midnight sweeps and secret imprisonments in makeshift Gulags — or even starved to death. That won’t happen because Mamdani is just a mayor, not a national dictator. What will happen, though, is that the failed collectivism of Mamdani will lead to federal and state bailouts and redistribution of dollars from outside-the-city coffers — spreading socialism further, and giving leftists a platform to feign compassion for the people while decrying conservatives who want a limited government.

What will happen is more normalization of socialism; of communism; of Marxism; of collectivism, which is the cultural equivalent of America’s death knell. If America, founded on the concept of God-given rights and liberties, is trained to expect government to supply all, and government to provide all, then self-government becomes an outdated principle. Limited government becomes a thing of the past. God-given becomes government-granted.

And the message of Mamdani, mayor of a city, becomes the desires of an entire nation.

That is the true danger of a man such as Mamdani.

Lies repeated often enough can one day become truth.

Greetings everyone, and Happy New Year. I am starting this new year with a new right hip. Surgery was back in December, and recovery has gone exceptionally well. I know that many of you have resolutions; I hope you can fulfill them. As we enter into 2026, the year that will welcome America’s 250th celebration of Independence, and a critical midterm election, there is a simple question.

What do Democrats prioritize?

Yes, I know that the shape-shifting Marxist leftists are trying to deflect by coming up with the narrative of affordability. As if they really make anything affordable for Americans. Yes, we have a political party called the Democratic Party, but their philosophy of governance is Marxist, and if you listen carefully, communist. They embrace principles, ideals, and ensuing policies that are antithetical to our Constitutional Republic and its foundation of individual rights, freedom, and liberty. As we celebrate our independence, we should recognize that the Marxist leftists advance a direction to make Americans more dependent. They do not prioritize the individual; they celebrate the collective subjugation of the law-abiding citizen.

Leftists have shown that they prioritize criminal illegal immigrants over the safety and security of Americans. Ideals such as “sanctuary” cities and states are unlawful, unconstitutional, and illegal. How can any elected official support the idea of harboring those who have committed a crime in entering the Country unlawfully, and that is enshrined in the U.S. Statute and Code. Why would anyone support a political party and ideology that demonizes and attacks our law enforcement officers who are enforcing the law? It is plain to see that the American Marxist left places more priority on the illegal element in our Country than our own sworn officers who have a duty to protect us and safeguard our sovereignty.

You just have to scratch your head when considering how the Democrats can actually complain about killing narco-terrorists. These are the non-state, non-uniformed unlawful combatants who have been responsible for the deaths of hundreds of thousands of Americans, numbers far exceeding our losses in combat from the Korean War to today. One would think that these leftists would join together in an effort to keep Americans, especially young Americans, safe from deadly drugs. Nope, that is not a priority. To the point that leftist members of Congress are even encouraging members of our Armed Forces to disobey “illegal orders,” yet they cannot define an illegal order. Hmm, where were those members of Congress when Joe Biden and Kamala Harris opened up our border? Or how about them speaking up about forcing members of our military to unlawfully get jabbed with an experimental vaccine? Or where were they when 13 Marines, Sailors, and Soldiers unnecessarily lost their lives in the greatest strategic and operational debacle in U.S. military history, the withdrawal from Afghanistan? No, not even the safety of Americans, and our men and women of our Armed Forces, is a priority to the American Marxist left.

Consider how the left, including their media accomplices, are doing everything possible to deflect and shield the clannish criminal Somali community. Are we to believe that holding those who have committed a crime, defrauding the American taxpayer, is acceptable? It is racist because the leftists utilize cultural Marxism to advance their cause. Let’s not forget, this is the same Somali community that contributed the most American-based fighters to ISIS back during the rise and scourge of that terrorist group, which Barry Soetoro enabled. Then again, the Marxist leftists prioritize having a fond supportive relationship with Islamic jihadists, as we have seen on college and university campuses. Or the new darling of the Democrat (Marxist) party, Zohran Mamdani, who in any realm of reality would have never been an acceptable political candidate in America. Then again, it was ol’ Barack Hussein Obama who fully embraced the Muslim Brotherhood during his tenure, so Mamdani is just a newer manifestation of the smiling, charismatic, Marxist jihadist, symbolic of the Red-Green alliance.

Speaking of Mamdani and Obama, leftists do not prioritize your freedom; they love to throw out rhetoric that centers around the word “control.” Maybe they listened to that song by Janet Jackson too doggone much. Rent Control. Price control. Gun control. Why, in this year of celebrating our Independence, would we vote for a bunch of control freaks? After all, that is why America got its start, to break from under the control of a distant tyrant; are we supposed to now celebrate domestic tyrants?

Herein lies the fallacy of the leftists talking about “affordability,” their explanation of such is their having more control over you, your life, and the product of your labor. And let’s be honest, there is nothing “affordable” about the Obama Affordable Care Act. Just like there was nothing positive for our economy about the Inflation Reduction Act. What Democrats do prioritize is a mastery of rhetoric, and sadly, there are just enough mindless lemmings, useful idiots, and illegal immigrants who fall for the lies, deceit, and deception. Then again, when leftists follow the doctrine of Nazi propagandist Josef Goebells, “tell a lie often enough, and it will be accepted as truth,” and they employ a massive leftist media to that end. That is what they prioritize.

But what is more disturbing about the Marxist left is their hatred of our American children, born and unborn. What manner of depraved mind would say that dismembering a child in the womb up until birth is a right? When did these people become so barbaric? That is called infanticide. What type of disgusting mind would seek to mutilate the bodies of children? And we have 19 leftist States suing to continue to do so? Why do Marxist leftists, aided by their teacher union acolytes, refuse to support educational freedom and parental choice and rights in educating their children, relegating them to failed school systems? And this mania about allowing biological males to compete against girls, and enter into women’s private spaces?

No, the Democrat party does not prioritize our children or women.

So, what does the Democrat party prioritize? It is a deranged ideology that is a failed philosophy, a creed of ignorance, and is rooted in hate and envy. They do not prioritize American Independence. Matter of fact, they despise it. They prioritize control, subjugation, and submission, which is why they find sympathy with Islamic jihadists. Whenever you tune into mainstream media channels, along with CNN, MS Now, PBS, and other leftist media outlets, listen to them. They are telling you what they prioritize, and it has nothing to do with OUR America.

Yes, we are telling each other Happy New Year this week. Shall we still be enjoying a happy year at the end of 2026, remembering that Christmas Eve 2026 will be the 250th anniversary of George Washington’s famous crossing of the Delaware River? It would be a real disappointment if we allow the party of Marxist leftists, illegal immigrants, death and mutilation of our children, and Islamic jihadists to triumph this year.

Let’s prioritize American Independence, this, and every year going forward.

The Trump 2.0 Administration has provided patriotic Americans with many delights, but there are few more delightful than going to bed and waking up to find communist dictator Nicolás Maduro had been plucked out of his bed by killmaxxing American Army guys; it’s kind of like when we woke up and realized that the Iranian mullahs and their nuke program were as neutered as a Bulwark staffer. You’ve got to hand it to Donald Trump. This is a guy who doesn’t play footsie with happy talk illusions about universal brotherhood, hugging, and the idea that people who hate you are just friends you haven’t yet sufficiently groveled to. When you’re his enemy, he plays to win. He doesn’t drag it out endlessly, not quite losing until, finally, he does, and our people must flee the country while locals drop off the last C-17 out. When Donald Trump and his supporters talk about hating forever wars, you need to understand that the part of “forever wars” they hate is the “forever” part. They like kicking foreigner tail. They just don’t want to lose, and they don’t want to take forever doing it.

This was a glorious American victory over a communist dictator, so it naturally elicited the usual whining and crying from Democrats, libertarians, and the rest of the eunuch caucus. Oh no, Donald Trump’s not obeying international law! Of course, “international law” is a fantasy for fools, children, in the globalist foreign policy establishment. There’s one thing that regulates international relations – raw power – and when the D-boys showed up in Caracas, they were enforcing its Rule 5.56mm. As pundit Varad Mehta aptly observed on X, all the self-appointed best and brightest commenters commenting on American foreign policy “should read the Melian dialogue sometime.”

TLDR: “International law” is whatever America does because we’re bigger and can kick your butt.

There were 10 great things about this attack on the Maduro regime, as I initially pointed out on X that morning. Let’s count them down, shall we? 

10. America’s enemies are terrified by this display of American prowess. If dumping giant bombs down the holes made by the prior giant bombs at the Iranian nuclear facilities were not enough, the fact that our forces can come in and grab some scumbag potentate right out of his marital bed and then leave without a scratch must serve to concentrate their minds wonderfully. This caper has got to send a subtle message to America’s enemies: You can’t run, you can’t hide, this is our cell block, and you’re the pretty new fish.

9. Democrats went from siding with Somali fraudsters early in the week to communist narco terrorists who ignored democracy by the weekend. In their eternal quest to always stay on the 20 side of the 80/20 issues, the Democrats were outraged that we’ve arrested a country’s elected leader. Never mind that was their thing throughout the Biden administration, except the leader was ours, and he was being framed. Maduro, on the other hand, sends drugs and thugs to America that kill Americans. He also parties with the Chinese and the Russians, who I was told by reliable sources – those same Democrats – are the very worst people ever. The morning after we snatched him, it was hilarious to watch all these dummies with Ukrainian flags in their usernames crying that America had deposed Putin’s pal. But hey, in an election year, don’t let me get in the way of the Democrats standing firm with the foreign thug and against our glorious troops who have notched yet another victory over tyranny.

8. Libertarians are upset. When these tiresome goobers are mad, you know you’re doing something right. Thomas Massie, who’s trying to jumpstart his personal narcissism engine as the Jeffrey Epstein onanism that fueled it fades, naturally jumped in, and he was very upset that we defeated one of our enemies. Apparently, the Constitution says you can’t, somewhere. He thinks Congress should have authorized this, ignoring the practicalities like, you know, it’s a secret mission. Regardless, it would be hard to declare war when the war, such as it was, was over before Massie even started running his fool mouth.

But in fact, Congress authorized it by not doing anything. We’ve been rubbing up against Maduro for a couple of months now. If Congress were against Trump finally deposing this creep, it could have passed a law to keep Donald Trump from triumphing over evil. But it didn’t want to, because the majority of Congress was perfectly happy to have Donald Trump flush this human floater. Congress is not somehow ceding its authority by not opposing something it agrees with, and it manifestly agrees with this.

7. It’s hilarious how all the pinkos started screaming about how this is a war for oil, and Trump was right up front going, “Oh yeah, we’re totally doing this in part because of the oil.” I’m not sure when history ended, and resources stopped having anything to do with wars, but the critics apparently think that happened. In fact, oil is key on many levels. Unleashing Venezuela’s oil production will screw the Iranians as well as the Russians, who we keep being told we should screw with. Both of those regimes run on oil revenue. Venezuela pumping big time is in our interest because it’s against theirs. Socialism, in its collectivist warmth, has destroyed Venezuela’s oil industry. But with it up back and running, that means more global supply and less money for our enemies. Oh, and they used to sell a lot of it to the Chinese. Now, we’ve got a hammer lock on that. So, Xi, go ahead and invade Taiwan, and we’ll cut off your gas. Also, getting their oil industry going will help us by paying back America for the property Venezuela’s leaders stole through nationalization.

6. We blew up Chávez’s mausoleum. Screw that guy. Of course, the libs were sputtering about desecrating his tacky tomb, but that’s what we call an “information operation.” It sends a message. And that message is that if we’re petty enough to killyou again after you’re dead, what do you think we’ll do to you when you’re alive? El Comandante Generalísimo el Jefe Grande Maduro is lucky that he landed on the USS Iwo Jima instead of getting his sorry booty Pinochet-pitched out the side door of a Chinook over the Caribbean.

5. Everybody who had doubts about Pete Hegseth must contend with the fact that they were stupid and wrong. He’s been incredible. Our recruiting is through the roof, Iran has no nukes, and Maduro is worried about picking up the soap. The American military is back. All the weirdos, deviants, and perverts are gone, and you can’t tell us that empowering trans majors to flounce around dressed like Charo helped our combat readiness. You know what helps combat readiness? Combat readiness. And this flawless operation proved it.

4. The video of cheering Venezuelans is wonderful. It’s nice to see people freed, but it’s nicer to see the American people freed from the millions of refugees who flooded our country because no one else would stand up to the communist dictator. And it’s especially nice that thousands of American lives will be saved because the drugs those communist scumbags sent north will no longer be sent north.

3. Trump has made the Monroe Doctrine great again. This is our hemisphere. Now, foreigners may think that’s arrogant or obnoxious, but if we cared about foreigners, we’d be Democrats and losers. The fact is that, for too long, we let Iranians, Russians, and the Chinese touch grass on our turf. No more. There’s a new sheriff in town, and his name is Donnie Trump.

2. The Cuban communists are next, and they are sweating like JB Pritzker when someone pulls out the Ozempic. If you’re an investor, go short on the commie ruling class because they’re running out of friends. Pretty soon, they’re going to be doing some Cuban dancing at the end of a rope from a light post. I look forward to the day my father-in-law goes back to reclaim the property those bastards stole from his family. We’ll have a Townhall VIP party; I’ll supply the cigars and the rum.

1. And, most importantly, it was great that the Army and the Delta Force pulled this off instead of the Navy and the SEALs. We soldiers have had to listen to the squids run their mouths for 15 years about how they iced Bin Laden. Yeah, that was cool, I guess. But not quite taking down a whole country in a night, cool. Now, it’s the decisive branch of American military power’s time to shine again! Go Army!

Every member of the Senate voted in support of FDR to declare war, as did every member of the House except for a feminist from Montana miffed that “as a woman.” she and her sisters could not go to war. By contrast, America’s next major military action was launched by President Harry Truman with the blessing of the nascent UN but, critically, without congressional support. This “police action” lasted three years and cost more than 33,000 American lives—90-plus percent of all non-Korean lives lost.

The Democrats still revere Harry Truman. They despise George W. Bush. Yet as hard as this may be to believe, the Iraq War, by historic standards, was honestly waged and reported. In October 2002, the Authorization for Use of Military Force Against Iraq Resolution passed both the House and the Senate by comfortable margins. This did not make the Iraq War the smartest war ever waged, but it has proved to be the most constitutionally sound US military engagement since World War II.

On the Democratic side of the aisle, 29 of 50 Senators voted in favor of the resolution. This included all of the most ambitious Democratic senators—Joe Biden, John Kerry, Hillary Clinton, Joe Lieberman, John Edwards, and Tom Daschle among others. They turned against the war out of political expediency. The anti-war Vermont Governor and presidential candidate Howard Dean had begun flanking them on the left.

Of all the military actions launched in the last eighty years top honors for illogic, constitutional indifference, bad outcome, and sheer ugliness go to Barack Obama for the 2011 intervention in Libya.

On March 19, 2011, President Obama authorized, without congressional approval, a “limited military action” in Libya whose stated goal was “to protect Libyan civilians.” This move made no sense to anyone but the media and Obama’s Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton.

The “why” of this attack is still uncertain. For all his flaws, Libyan strongman Muammar Gaddafi had recently abandoned his WMD program and his terrorist arm. Obama admitted as much years later. “It’s fair to say that I found the idea of waging a new war in a distant country with no strategic importance to the United States to be less than prudent.” You think?

In his March 28, 2011, address to the nation Obama claimed that if America had delayed just one more day, “Benghazi, a city nearly the size of Charlotte, could suffer a massacre that would have reverberated across the region and stained the conscience of the world.” Obama was either lying or just being stupid. There had been no massacres and would be none until September 11, 2011, when four Americans were murdered in Benghazi.

A month after the bombing started, Obama, along with France’s Nicolas Sarkozy and Britain’s David Cameron, sent a letter to the international press. They now claimed, “The bloodbath that he had promised to inflict on the citizens of the besieged city of Benghazi has been prevented.” The only one not promising a bloodbath was Qaddafi. By this time, Obama had to know the pretext for war was false, but he would continue to pursue it for another six deadly months.

On October 20, 2011, NATO planes attacked a convoy among whose passengers was a desperate Qaddafi. Militia members took Qaddafi prisoner, indelicately sodomized him with a knife, and captured it all much too graphically on video.

They then threw Qaddafi, still breathing, onto a pick-up truck. When the truck pulled away, he promptly fell off. This Keystone Cops-meets-Mad Max muddle was not quite the image of a new Libya Obama and Hillary were hoping to project, but the Left didn’t care.

The Guardian headline captured the giddy mood in Washington: “Obama hails death of Muammar Gaddafi as foreign policy success: President warns other Middle Eastern dictators, particularly Syrian president Bashar al-Assad, that they could be next.” Said Obama in a Rose Garden speech, “The dark shadow of tyranny has been lifted.”

No one summed up the mood in Washington better than Secretary of State Clinton. White being interviewed by a CBS newswoman, Hillary learned that Qaddafi had been killed. She turned her head toward an aide, laughed, and said, “We came. We saw. He died.” She laughed again at her bon mot and the unnamed female interviewer laughed along with her.

This is a video all Democrats needs to see. When they start wailing about the fascist in the White House remind them of the military actions they launched and lied about—Korea, Vietnam, Serbia, Libya, and, covertly, Ukraine.

As to the constitutionality of the Venezuela strike, everyone will be right and everyone will be wrong. “Among those issues that cause friction are military operations short of declared war,” writes my author. “Although only Congress can declare war, Presidents have repeatedly ordered U.S. forces into action without Congressional approval. Perhaps because foreign affairs were not the most pressing concern of the Framers, the Constitution is somewhat ambiguous in this area.”

And ambiguous it remains.

The checks roll in – fatter with every birth – while he rotates his visits like a warlord on patrol. The kids? A horde tumbling in the gutters, all his, all on the state’s dime. This isn’t folklore; it’s fraud on steroids, documented in federal busts where Muslim immigrants pocketed over $126,000 in stolen aid before the cuffs snapped shut. Credit to the always savvy Mike Benz for calling attention to an incredible document issued in August 2020 by a deep state cabal calling itself the “Transition Integrity Project” (TIP). Launched in late 2019, TIP feigned bipartisanship but coalesced around the notion that “President Donald Trump has steadily undermined core norms of democracy and the rule of law and embraced numerous corrupt and authoritarian practices.”

Unmentioned in the document is the quiet Russiagate coup that collapsed with the release of the Mueller report months before TIP was launched. Only in a deep state uber-bubble could 100-plus “current and former senior government and campaign leaders” agree to overlook so evil an abuse and participate in an exercise that imagines Trump to be as ignorant as they are.

Participants included political strategists, journalists, polling experts, tech and social media experts, and former career officials from the intelligence community, the Justice Department, the military and the Department of Homeland Security. If the Deep State needed a poster girl. it could do no better than TIP co-founder Rosa Brooks. Named after German Marxist martyr Rosa Luxemburg, Brooks has worked in and around the Defense and State Departments since Obama came to power.

Since Brooks could not ask members of Team Biden or Team Trump to play themselves, she “did the next best thing,” recruiting participants with “similar backgrounds.” Here, the exercise descends into self-parody.

On Team Biden were people who might well have been on the real Team Biden—high profile Democratic hacks John Podesta and Donna Brazile and former Michigan governor Jennifer Granholm. On Team Trump were a sorry bunch of TDS-infected Quislings who, in real life, played on Team Biden—former RNC Chair Michael Steele, commentator Bill Kristol, and former Kentucky secretary of state Trey Grayson. Confirmation bias, anyone?

Speaking of John Podesta, the TIP crew imagined one scenario that included “spurious claims” linking key Democrats to “child sex trafficking.” That TIP would include this seemingly minor detail shows how blind its people are to their own vulnerabilities. Were she to read the coded language in the Podesta emails exposed by Wikileaks, even Rosa Brooks might not ever eat pizza again.

The TIP cabal imagined four potential outcomes to the 2020 election: ambiguous results, clear Biden victory, narrow Biden win, and clear Trump win. TIP predicted chaos for all these outcomes except for a clear Biden victory. In that case, concluded TIP, “Once it became clear that efforts to overturn that outcome were unlikely to succeed, the Trump Campaign pivoted to a strategy of self-preservation and limiting future legal liability.”

Most revealing is what TIP predicted in the light of a clear Trump win—in the electoral college, that is. The cabalists could not bring themselves to imagine Trump getting a majority of the popular votes. In this scenario, Biden retracts his election night concession speech and exploits “the public’s outrage that for the third time in 20 years a candidate lost the popular vote but won the Electoral College.”

Team Biden then shifts its focus to alleged GOP voter suppression and encourages three key states with Democratic governors to demand a recount. Governors in two of the three—Wisconsin and Michigan—send separate slates of electors to counter those sent by the state legislature.

The country soon finds itself “in the midst of a full-blown constitutional crisis,” one proudly generated by the Left despite the “clear Trump win.” The crisis involves political chaos, a poisonous media environment, and “sporadic actual violence in the streets.”

At the next stage, the Biden campaign encourages the three westernmost states to secede from the union unless the GOP agrees to end the electoral college and institute majority rule. Team Biden also demands statehood for DC and Puerto Rico and a maximum age of 70 for Supreme Court justices.

In one of its “most consequential moves,” on January 6 Team Biden provokes a “breakdown in the joint session of Congress by getting the House of Representatives to agree to award the presidency to Biden (based on the alternative pro-Biden submissions sent by pro-Biden governors).” The GOP refuses to yield, and January 20 arrives “without a single president elect entitled to be Commander-in-Chief after noon that day.”

As the TIP report makes clear, the cabalists seemed perfectly comfortable imagining actions for which Trump and his team were later chastised and punished. By June 2024, as is well enough known, dozens of Republican state officials and Trump associates would be indicted in four states for presenting alternate slates of electors.

Trump attorney John Eastman, who argued for the constitutionality of presenting alternate slates, was criminally indicted and recommended for disbarment. The State of Georgia indicted 19 Trump associates for calling attention to rampant election fraud and demanding a recount. The FBI meanwhile arrested some 1600 protestors for challenging what was absolutely not a “clear Biden victory.” and Tina Peters, 70, remains in prison for trying to prove the fraud that allowed Biden to pose as president for four years.

In 2020, alas, the cabalists prevailed. On Saturday, November 7, the TV networks all declared Joe Biden the president-elect. They came to this unanimous and simultaneous conclusion despite flagrant violations of state election law, the filing of numerous lawsuits documenting voter fraud, and growing demand for recounts in close swing states.

The Left’s shock troops got the word of “victory” even before the media did. The 400-plus sites the cabalists had set aside to protest a Trump win were reoriented toward a day of celebration. This day just happened to coincide with the day the networks called the election. In the world of TIP, celebrating, like rioting, was orchestrated.

Had Trump not won the popular vote in 2024, we can have no doubt but that those sites would have been used for their original purpose. In the run-up to 2026, they still may be.
