The items found in a lock-up garage sparked concern that potential attackers could have been plotting to pose as police and other officials.
It is also feared the discovery of the store, which followed the search of six properties, could provoke an attack similar to the bombings in the Belgian capital last year.
The attack on an airport and a metro station on 22 March, 2016, which killed 32 and injured more than 300, occurred after police uncovered a weapons cache as they hunted an Islamic State cell linked to attacks in Paris the year before.
Police charged two brothers of a convicted jihadist on Wednesday but revealed on Thursday they are looking for further members of a possible terror cell….
Belgian nationals Akim and Khalid Saouti, who were among four people detained in overnight raids on Tuesday, are believed to be the brothers of Said Saouti, a member of the Kamikaze Riders motorcycle club.
They were charged on Wednesday with belonging to a “terrorist group” and suspected of planning an attack.
Last year, Said was jailed for recruiting people to jihadist organisations and supporting IS on social media.

Abdirizak Mohamed Warsame, 22, was sentenced to 2.5 years in prison last year, after he admitted he conspired to help two friends join Islamic State and planned to go to Syria himself.
Now, in an interview with Scott Pelley of 60 Minutes, the Somali-American explains how the online ravings of a dead terror cleric radicalized him and drew him into a plot with eleven other young men in Minnesota’s large Somali immigrant population.
Asked if he had planned to join Islamic State in Syria and join in their atrocities, Warsame replied: ‘I was going to be, I was going to be participating in those activities.’
Warsame said his descent into extremism began after he began attending mosque at his mother’s urging.
‘Learning about the religion and reciting the Quran, I started to become more religious. I felt like there was something that was missing in me,’ Warsame said….
Then a teenager, Warsame felt alienated from his own mosque, which has not been tied to extremism, because the lessons were in Somali.
He turned online looking for religious instruction in English, and found the videos of Anwar al-Awlaki.
Once the respected imam of a mosque near Washington, DC, al-Awlaki was exposed as violent extremist and went into hiding in Yemen, where he was killed by a drone strike in 2011.
Yet the terror cleric’s sermons live on online, where they have been responsible for radicalizing scores of young Muslims.
‘He explained how Islam was, you know, like, my calling. It was almost like he was talking to you,’ Warsame explained to Pelley.
‘And like it made you feel like you were special, you know? And like you’re the chosen one. And the more I listened to it, the more it was appealing to me and the more interesting it became.’
Warsame became convinced that committing violence against non-Muslims would be best not just for himself but his family.
‘Most of the videos would talk about how if you would engage in jihad you would be doing your family a favor. And that you would be saving their lives from eternal hell fire,’ he said.
‘And so whether you’re doing something good for your community, whether you’re going to school, whether you have a nice job, all of that, they’re gonna make it seem like it’s worthless. And that there is something greater that you can be doing.’…

Using stark language he added that: “Europe must make it more difficult for Africans to reach the continent via the current transit routes.” His statements cannot be dismissed as mere prejudice. A man of impeccable liberal credentials, Gates now uses the colossal fortune that he built from Microsoft to fight poverty, hunger and disease in Africa, largely through the foundation that he and his wife Melinda created.
In total, their charity has so far spent at least £28billion on this work, while Gates has pledged that his long-term goal is to give away almost all his personal wealth, currently estimated at more than £70billion.
Such a background of epic generosity only reinforces the power of his words. He is right to argue that Europe is in the grip of immigration meltdown. Austria will “very soon” impose border checks and deploy soldiers on its frontier with Italy if the influx of migrants across the Mediterranean does not slow, Vienna’s defence minister was quoted as saying.
“I expect that very soon border controls will be activated and that an assistance deployment (by the military) will be requested,” Hans Peter Doskozil told the online edition of the Krone daily on Monday.
He was cited as saying that this move was “indispensable if the inflow into Italy does not ease”. The paper said that 750 soldiers were available and that four armoured vehicles had already been sent to the area over the weekend.
Austria introduced checks on its eastern border with Hungary in 2015 and has readied physical measures such as barriers on its Italian border in the south-west, including at the famous Brenner Pass.
Nearly 85,000 migrants and refugees have arrived in Italy by sea this year, the UN refugee agency said earlier on Monday. More than 2,000 others have died or gone missing on the perilous crossing.
“This is not sustainable. We need to have other countries joining Italy and sharing that responsibility,” Vincent Cochetel, the UNHCR’s special envoy for the central Mediterranean, told reporters in Geneva.

The leftist media is saying that the President calling them out about reporting lies and mistruth is undermining the First Amendment of the Constitution. The First Amendment reads: " Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances." The First Amendment is actually threatened in several ways. One is if the news media abrogates its responsibility as a trusted watchdog of the government; another is if the government threatens its guaranteed freedoms; and another is if citizens don't hold accountability.
The leftist news media has abrogated its responsibility as a watchdog. As a collective group, it is crying like spoiled children because a President dare expose its heretofore monopoly on reporting whatever it can to support a narrative of a political agenda that is poisonous to the Republic's form of government. This is very real. It appears that the mainstream of the leftist media is conspiring with the leftists in the Democratic Party to undermine duly elected officials and prevent them from governing as the people have so instructed. This is proven repeatedly by the fake news, the visceral participation in dividing the nation, inflaming the populace and reporting the news from a slanted point of view, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The previous Administration and the leftist news media worked together for eight years in painting a picture of America that was and is counter to the Constitution. Laws were broken. Laws went unenforced. Conservatives were singled out and punished or silenced. In his parting address to the news correspondents dinner on April 30, 2016, the former "president" said, " But we've always shared the same goal--to root our public discourse in the truth; to open the doors of this democracy; to do whatever we can to make our country and our world more free and more just. And I've always appreciated the role that you have all played as equal partners in reaching these goals." His words were never truer or more revealing of this relationship. His truth remains a globalist socialism that is counter to and incompatible with the American ideal.
When the media supports a particular political agenda (surveys indicate the media votes about 90% for Democrats) it has lost all objectivity resulting in the public receiving mass weaponized deception. It is up to the people, therefore, to stand for their First Amendment rights. It starts by boycotting leftist media because it is dependent on your viewership/readership. Then we must vocalize our distrust. Above all we must stand for the truth-not facts as they are presented-but the truth. Jesus said in John 8:32, " And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. " In John 14:6, Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes unto the Father, but by me." Galatians 5:1 says, "Stand fast therefore in the liberty with which Christ has made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage." Let us do so with vigor.

Linda Sarsour Says Muslims Should Wage a Form of ‘Jihad’ Against Trump

Linda Sarsour, a Palestinian-American activist who has expressed support for terrorists, recently called on Muslims to wage a form of “jihad” against the Trump administration.
Speaking at the 54th annual convention of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) last week, Sarsour said that she was not advocating for a violent form of jihad.
“A word of truth in front of a tyrant ruler or leader, that is the best form of jihad,” she said, quoting the Islamic prophet Muhammad.

DNC Won’t Release Evidence of Seth Rich’s Wikileaks Ties
A team of private investigators demanded the Democratic National Committee turn over “any and all” information that could help determine whether there is a link between the Democratic National Committee email hacking during the 2016 presidential race and the mysterious murder of DNC employee Seth Rich.
But the DNC wouldn’t provide any information Thursday, claiming it’s “not interested in propagating conspiracy theories about a beloved colleague.”
While the DNC insists that its email was hacked by Russia in a grand conspiracy to assist Donald Trump in “rigging” the election, the Profiling Project pointed out in a letter to DNC Chairman Tom Perez that Guccifer 2.0 categorically denied links between the Russian government and the hacked documents.
“There have been all sorts of reporting in the media on the DNC computer hacking on June 14, 2016, one month before Mr. Rich’s murder,” the letter states. “At the time, the DNC blamed the hacking on two groups associated with Russian intelligence. However, a blogger named Guccifer 2.0 subsequently claimed that he hacked your computer system, and passed along thousands of pages of files to WikiLeaks.

Liberal vs Leftist
What is a liberal? Or maybe a better question is, what does the term liberal mean today? Well, according to Jacques Berlinerblau, a professor from Georgetown University who recently wrote an article for the Washington Post, there are liberals and then there are "radical leftists." Berlinerblau admits that American academia is mostly composed of liberal professors and that professors who identify as politically conservative are utterly underrepresented in America's halls of higher learning, with humanities departments in particular being the least politically diverse. In other words, leftist ideology is controlling most of the nation's colleges and universities.
But while Berlinerblau rightly concludes that conservatives are not to blame for the recent havoc wreaked in places like Middlebury, UC Berkeley and Evergreen College, he also attempts to shift the blame away from liberals. According to Berlinerblau, three groups exist in academia: a small conservative minority, a sizable liberal contingent and the dominant radical left he blames for the current campus intolerance. The question remains, what is the difference between a liberal and a leftist?
Berlinerblau's answer to that question ends up sounding more like a disagreement over the manner of application rather than over opposing ideologies. He cites as examples liberals' reactions to certain events, such as "liberals didn't exult over Iran's 1979 Islamic revolution," or that liberals didn't "refer to the victims of 9/11 as 'little Eichmanns.'" He also notes that "liberals are generally made highly uncomfortable by censorship, speaker boycotts, trigger warnings, safe spaces and the like." Berlinerblau's argument sounds eerily similar to the one made by Muslims who may reject the methods of Islamic terrorists, yet refuse to disavow radical Islamists.
The truth is that modern liberalism stands in stark contrast to the classical liberal values expressed by our nation's Founding Fathers. It is today's conservatives who hold most closely to those classical liberal principles. Today's radical leftist social justice warrior is merely the logical manifestation of modern liberal ideology. Liberal and leftist is a distinction without a difference. It is modern liberalism that can be credited with teaching the ideology of socialism that glories in the utopian ideals of Karl Marx. It is modern liberalism that sees little value in Christianity and has long mocked Christians as backward fools. It is modern liberalism that has questioned the very nature of truth itself, opening a Pandora's box of relativism. {townhall.com} ~ Only in Washington, D.C. will you find politicians so wrapped up in themselves, their party, crazed ideology, or something -- that they will not come together to pass legislation for the sake and safety of the American people.
Even though the House managed to pass two common sense, safety-focused bills on June 29, it is beyond comprehension that most Democrats voted against Kate’s Law and the No Sanctuary for Criminals Act. The GOP did have a handful of rogue nays, but very few in comparison.
What were they thinking?
Whatever they were thinking, it had little to do with safety and security of Americans. Leftists do their best to hoodwink normal Americans into accepting their San Francisco-style values like the absurd presumption that it is moral to break federal immigration law and shelter those who illegally cross our borders instead of following the rule of law to protect U.S. citizens.
A little background on the two bills. Lawmakers introduced Kate’s Law after an illegal immigrant killed a beautiful, young San Francisco woman named Kate Steinle. Although her killer, Juan Francisco Lopez-Sanchez, had a lengthy list of felony convictions and multiple deportations, sanctuary city policies meant the San Francisco Sheriff’s Department would not honor a detainer issued by U.S. Immigration and Customs [ICE]. Sheriff officials said they found no active warrant for his arrest, so rather than contacting ICE to pick him up, they released him and the rest is history.
The San Francisco which Lopez-Sanchez found sanctuary in, Miss Steinle did not. Kate’s Law serves to enforce immigration laws already on the books, imposing mandatory minimum prison sentences for lawbreakers like Lopez-Sanchez should they reenter the U.S. post-deportation.
The No Sanctuary for Criminals Act cuts off federal grant money to safe harbor cities and forces sanctuary city leadership to take responsibility for their actions, opening the way for victims of illegal immigrant crimes to sue.
You would never know it from the uproar by the left, but we are only talking about illegal immigration, not legal immigration, albeit Washington Democrats and their corporate media sidekicks have an astonishingly tough time differentiating between the two.
The left’s obsession with protecting lawbreakers at taxpayers’ expense is baffling. Taxpayers in San Francisco are set to foot the bill for a $190,000 lawsuit brought by an illegal immigrant who sued because a police officer had the audacity to obey federal immigration laws and report his whereabouts to ICE, reports CBS’s KPIX-TV.
It comes as no surprise that a Harvard-Harris Poll survey taken earlier this year found that 80 percent of voters surveyed reject sanctuary cities because they believe “local authorities should have to comply with the law by reporting to federal agents the illegal immigrants they come into contact with.”
Regardless of surveys or polls or public opinion, Senate Democrats will try to defeat these two bills using the lame excuse they have already raised that supporting this legislation might somehow ramp up fear in the immigrant community.
Apparently, there is nothing more petrifying than obeying the law.
Democrats’ fear of ramping up fear in the immigrant community is misdirected. They should instead focus on the fact that besides the Almighty, the only thing Democrats should fear is themselves. They alone are responsible for the mess they are in and the chaos they have created.
It would be nice to believe Senate Democrats will set aside their partisanship and emotions long enough to do what’s right by the American people to vote “yes” on this legislation. But, if history is a prognosticator, don’t hold your breath.
So, with countenances drawn and somber defeat on their faces, Democrats will march lockstep into the 2018 midterm elections as weak on crime and weedy on principles as ever.

Why Democrats Voted
Against Bills to Protect Americans
{townhall.com} ~ Only in Washington, D.C. will you find politicians so wrapped up in themselves, their party, crazed ideology, or something -- that they will not come together to pass legislation for the sake and safety of the American people.
Even though the House managed to pass two common sense, safety-focused bills on June 29, it is beyond comprehension that most Democrats voted against Kate’s Law and the No Sanctuary for Criminals Act. The GOP did have a handful of rogue nays, but very few in comparison.
What were they thinking?
Whatever they were thinking, it had little to do with safety and security of Americans. Leftists do their best to hoodwink normal Americans into accepting their San Francisco-style values like the absurd presumption that it is moral to break federal immigration law and shelter those who illegally cross our borders instead of following the rule of law to protect U.S. citizens.
A little background on the two bills. Lawmakers introduced Kate’s Law after an illegal immigrant killed a beautiful, young San Francisco woman named Kate Steinle. Although her killer, Juan Francisco Lopez-Sanchez, had a lengthy list of felony convictions and multiple deportations, sanctuary city policies meant the San Francisco Sheriff’s Department would not honor a detainer issued by U.S. Immigration and Customs [ICE]. Sheriff officials said they found no active warrant for his arrest, so rather than contacting ICE to pick him up, they released him and the rest is history.
The San Francisco which Lopez-Sanchez found sanctuary in, Miss Steinle did not. Kate’s Law serves to enforce immigration laws already on the books, imposing mandatory minimum prison sentences for lawbreakers like Lopez-Sanchez should they reenter the U.S. post-deportation.
The No Sanctuary for Criminals Act cuts off federal grant money to safe harbor cities and forces sanctuary city leadership to take responsibility for their actions, opening the way for victims of illegal immigrant crimes to sue.
You would never know it from the uproar by the left, but we are only talking about illegal immigration, not legal immigration, albeit Washington Democrats and their corporate media sidekicks have an astonishingly tough time differentiating between the two.
The left’s obsession with protecting lawbreakers at taxpayers’ expense is baffling. Taxpayers in San Francisco are set to foot the bill for a $190,000 lawsuit brought by an illegal immigrant who sued because a police officer had the audacity to obey federal immigration laws and report his whereabouts to ICE, reports CBS’s KPIX-TV.
It comes as no surprise that a Harvard-Harris Poll survey taken earlier this year found that 80 percent of voters surveyed reject sanctuary cities because they believe “local authorities should have to comply with the law by reporting to federal agents the illegal immigrants they come into contact with.”
Regardless of surveys or polls or public opinion, Senate Democrats will try to defeat these two bills using the lame excuse they have already raised that supporting this legislation might somehow ramp up fear in the immigrant community.
Apparently, there is nothing more petrifying than obeying the law.
Democrats’ fear of ramping up fear in the immigrant community is misdirected. They should instead focus on the fact that besides the Almighty, the only thing Democrats should fear is themselves. They alone are responsible for the mess they are in and the chaos they have created.
It would be nice to believe Senate Democrats will set aside their partisanship and emotions long enough to do what’s right by the American people to vote “yes” on this legislation. But, if history is a prognosticator, don’t hold your breath.
So, with countenances drawn and somber defeat on their faces, Democrats will march lockstep into the 2018 midterm elections as weak on crime and weedy on principles as ever.

Democrat-Controlled States Face Debt Crisis
Longtime Democrat-controlled state governments are running out of other people's money. Three states in particular are in varying degrees of budgetary crisis. Illinois, Connecticut and New Jersey are swimming in debt and yet Democrats' only solution is to call for tax increases, not spending cuts. Illinois is especially bad, finding itself staring at a growing debt crisis owing primarily to the cost of public pensions. It recently passed a massive tax hike, though Republican Gov. Bruce Rauner vetoed the bill over its failure to deal with the root cause of the problem — the public employment system. But the state senate's Democrat majority overrode Rauner's veto, displaying once again that Democrats dance to the tune of big unions over and against the interests of citizens. Is it any wonder that Illinois has seen its population decrease by over 500,000 since 2010?
Both Connecticut and New Jersey find themselves in similar predicaments. They're trying to find the funds to pay for ever-increasing public pensions and retirement health care costs without actually working to reform these programs that have precipitated the problem in the first place. And their solution is always increased taxes.
By contrast, look at a longtime Republican-controlled state. Tennessee is a state where high taxes are essentially non-existent. With no regular income tax, the Volunteer State has become a magnet for businesses and Americans seeking greater freedom from oppression of government excess. The Brookings Institute ranks the state as number one in the nation for advanced industry job growth. The state government also finds itself on the opposite side of the debt crisis and sitting on a revenue surplus, as Tennessee's constitution requires lawmakers pass a balanced budget plan each year. As a right-to-work state, it has helped to prevent the development of political culture adhering to the demands of unions. Trump's Nuclear Energy Ambitions
By Paul Albaugh: President Donald Trump has made some significant policy promises regarding America's energy sector. For most Americans, his policies are extremely welcome news because the days of excessive government regulation and oversight of our nation's ability to tap into and produce vast amounts of energy will be ending soon.
During a speech last Thursday on energy policy, Trump offered a stark contrast with his predecessor on not just pursuing energy independence for America, but "American energy dominance." He outlined a six-pronged approach to doing so.
Put simply, unlike Barack liar-nObama, who implemented onerous regulations on coal, off-shore drilling and other fossil fuel production methods — while demanding unrealistic increases in unreliable and expensive wind and solar power — Trump is taking an all-of-the-above approach to unleash American innovation to produce more energy than ever before.
Notably, the first part of his six-pronged approach is to "revive and expand our nuclear energy sector," which will begin with a study on the issue. The study will analyze regulatory challenges that need to be addressed and offer possible solutions for fixing them. Furthermore, the study will take stock of costs associated with nuclear energy production and building additional nuclear reactors — much of which is regulatory burden. There weren't a lot of details given in advance of this study, but recognizing a problem is the first step in coming up with a solution.
During a White House Press briefing, Energy Secretary Rick Perry stated without reservation that America needs to regain a "leadership role" in developing nuclear energy. "We really need to have a conversation with our country about making sure that America stays technologically and economically engaged on the nuclear side," he said, "because if we do not then China and Russia will fill that void."
Perry also noted that the Trump administration will "end the current blockade that has hindered American energy creation," and he gave a passionate defense of nuclear power that is sure to irritate leftists. Perry pledged to make nuclear energy "cool again" and added that "no clean-energy portfolio is truly complete without nuclear power."
Perry, Trump and other administration officials believe that nuclear energy development is important for America and that it can be a "game changer." They're absolutely right, but there are numerous obstacles that will need to be overcome if nuclear energy is truly going to be part of Trump's plan for American energy dominance.
The nuclear industry is currently ailing with many construction projects being costlier than anticipated. One of the major nuclear reactor builders, Westinghouse, filed for bankruptcy this year after losing money on construction projects in South Carolina and Georgia. The projects were three years past due and cost between $1 to $1.3 billion more than expected. But the costs and timeframe were primarily due to — surprise — government regulation. Perry and the Trump administration intend to address these burdensome regulations and will push for incentives aimed at giving our younger generation a renewed interest in studying nuclear energy production.
You can bet that the push for American energy dominance and independence, with nuclear energy being at the forefront, will outrage ecofascists. As usual, they'll cry that Trump is trying to destroy the planet. For years, the Left has ignored nuclear power because words like "weapon" and "waste" come to mind whenever the word nuclear is mentioned. But nuclear power is clean energy just like wind and solar, and leftists have been making a terrible mistake by ignoring the benefits that come with nuclear power.
Approximately 20% of America's electricity comes from nuclear power. The nuclear reactors currently in operation produce four times the amount of energy that wind power can and 21 times the amount that solar power does. By the way, it's also cheaper to produce than wind and solar, and because of research and innovation it is a safe means of producing energy.
If Trump can follow through with his energy plans, we may very well see another example of American greatness through the harnessing and use of the vast energy resources with which our nation has been so richly blessed. ~The Patriot Post

Pulosi Progressives — The Winning Formula
for Republicans
By Robin Smith: Political parties once had the power to stand on their own platforms of ideas and policies. Voters would ideologically or practically align with Democrats or Republicans based on values and issues. As money and the power of incumbency have grown, along with the now-24/7 cable news cycle and the rise of social media platforms, individuals in leadership, particularly those of significant tenure and position, have become the face of their respective partisan groups.
It's true that some conservatives and Republicans cringe at that fact. Now that President Donald Trump is moving his agenda, complete with his, er, extraordinary mannerisms, as the face of the Grand Old Party, angst is on display among the Republican ranks. Democrats are buoyed by this fracture and perpetuating the fairytale of Russia/Trump collusion to derail any agenda.
But there's a chink in the Left's political battle armor that's proving to be an existential threat to their work to regain the House majority in the 2018 mid-term elections: The face of the Democrat Party and the political Left is House Minority Leader Nancy Pulosi.
In the special congressional elections that have occurred following Trump Cabinet appointments, Democrats intentionally declared each one served as a referendum on Trump's unpopularity. Yet all four special elections were lost by well-funded Democrats. So much for the all-out rejection that is supposedly brewing among the American electorate against Trump's agenda.
Two of these congressional races must be noted. First, in Montana, the GOP candidate to replace Ryan Zinke was charged with misdemeanor assault of a reporter the evening before voters went to the polls. Despite his popular folksy Democrat rival looking to benefit from a nationwide flurry of horrible press for manhandling a member of the "fake media," Greg Gianforte won — maybe because he manhandled the media. Not only did Trump not cost Republicans a seat, but the accepted belief that media is the problem worked in favor of a fed-up Gianforte, who was pressed with a hail of questions about the GOP health care proposal. Montanans chose that over the whole state being represented by Nancy Pulosi's values.
In Georgia's 6th congressional district, a peach of a race shaped up with historic fundraising. Democrat nominee Jon Ossoff, who hadn't found it necessary to yet live in the district he sought to represent, couldn't vote for himself, nor could most of his California donors and big money coming from Planned Parenthood. When records show that of the almost $24 million raised by the Democrat, nine times more contributions came from California than within Georgia, Karen Handel, the GOP candidate was accurately able to state, "He's raised millions outside of Georgia from Nancy Pulosi and outsiders who just don't share our priorities. My opponent doesn't live here [and] doesn't share our values." Ossoff and Pulosi lost to Handel.
In short, Pulosi's unabashed hard-left stances based on sensationalized information are rejected, as were Barack liar-nObama's. But Nancy gets a little extra help in her public disapproval due to some of her antics. Let's walk down memory lane.
Who can forget the oldie but goodie during the cram-down-our-throats passage of the insultingly name "Affordable" Care Act? Then-House Speaker Pulosi declared, "We have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it." Or what about her later declaration that "I believe the [Republican-controlled] House of Representatives, at this time, is an unsafe place for children and other living things"? In December 2016, the California congresswoman whose worth is estimated at $100 million avowed, "I don't think people want a new direction. Our values unify us and our values are about supporting America's working families."
Another favorite videoed moment of Pulosi was in January 2017, just days after Trump's inauguration. Democrats marched in protest of Trump's so-called "Muslim ban," which merely called for a temporary pause in travel from nations Barack liar-nObama identified as being of risk. Oh, the theatrics as the anti-Trump crowd watched Rep. Andre Carson of Indiana trotted out to the microphone to challenge Trump's move. The hot mic picked up Pulosi feeding lines to him: "Tell them you're a Muslim. Tell them you're a Muslim."
So, as Pulosi provides reliable ammunition for Republicans — and no, the use of this metaphor is not a call to arms or violence — why does she remain as the face of the Democrats?
It's simple, really. The 77-year-old, first elected to Congress in 1993, is a fundraising powerhouse on the Left. Since rising to House leadership for Democrats in 2002, she is credited with raising almost $568 million for leftist candidates. Perhaps it's no wonder the Democrat Caucus has moved so hard-left. Furthermore, as noted in the June 27 CNN analysis declaring "Nancy Pulosi Can't Be Beaten," you can't beat anybody with nobody. The shallow pool of candidates who might oppose Pulosi's leadership are not viewed as credible — there are no young guns in the wings who pose a threat.
Pulosi's unpopularity is no recent development. Back in 2013, Gallup showed she earned the distinction of being the most unpopular congressional leader. Just over the last eight weeks in 11 House districts that are targeted by Democrats for 2018, Pulosi's job favorability didn't surpass 37.2%.
Democrats may want a new face of their party, but their blindness to the authentic issues facing working Americans has been exposed. Republicans have much work to do in the House (and Senate) to capitalize on what's become a gaping hole in Democrat armor — the obstinacy of the hard-Left. Thank you, Madame Pulosi.

Rights: Health even for the dying?

{jewishworldreview.com} ~ Standing at a bus stop in Paris recently, I noticed an advertisement for Medecins du Monde, Doctors of the World, a charity similar to the more famous Medecins Sans Frontieres. "Liberty, equality, health," it proclaimed: in other words, health replaced fraternity in the trio of French republican virtues or aspirations.
At the bottom of the ad were two additional slogans:
Health for all
Rights for everyone
But what could health for all possibly mean? Health even for the dying? Or immortality, perhaps?
No doubt there has always been high-sounding verbiage in the world, but it is never entirely innocent, in as much as it implicitly demands consent without thought, much less contestation.
No one bothers to argue with a slogan, especially when it is so obviously virtuous, for what kind of monster would wish illness on anyone? Health for all is obviously desirable: as are many other impossible things.
The slogans do not explicitly say that health is a right, but the proximity of "health for all" with "rights for everyone" certainly encourages their conflation.
And indeed, it is not difficult nowadays to find not only health care but also health itself propounded as a human right.
The absurdity of this is obvious. If I discover tomorrow that I have a fatal tumor, my rights have not been denied me, any more than they were when I was born less handsome than I should like to have been.
Even health care is not a right, though it is obviously desirable that everyone should have access to it, for the simple reason that it is better to prevent or relieve suffering than not to do so.
But how can an idea as absurd as a right to health have become current? Actually, it fits in well with a certain kind of thinking about freedom and equality under the law.
Critics of the classical liberal concepts of freedom and equality point out that the opportunities of the rich to exercise their freedom of choice, and also to influence or escape the rigors of the law, are much greater than those of the poor.
As the jibe has it, the rich man and the poor have equally the right to sleep under the arches of a bridge. And, incontestably, this argument has had an effect on social policy in most countries.
What goes for money, however, also goes for health. The healthy man and the paralyzed have equally the right to play tennis: but in order for them both to have equal rights in practice, it is necessary either to cure the paralyzed of his paralysis or prohibit the healthy man from taking up his racquet.
Again, in practice, the second is far easier than the first.
In other words, those who demand of freedom and equality under the law that everyone should in actuality be placed in the same condition or position will soon destroy freedom without having achieved equality.
But to explain why requires more than six words on an advertisement at a bus stop.

State authorities outlined evidence against 22-year-old Aziz Sayyed during a hearing Wednesday in Huntsville.
A defense attorney for the North Carolina native is asking a judge to set bail so the man can get out of jail. But prosecutor Jay Town told a judge Sayyed claimed he wanted to behead people, and he practiced using a knife.
Authorities have said the man had bomb-making materials, and Town says he planned to use them at a police office after pledging allegiance to Islamic State.

What is more interesting- and in our opinion, relevance- to this incident is his employer.
Tayseer is that he is the franchise owner of not just one, but a chain of IHOP restaurants, and as with all franchises, they are not cheap to start. In the case of IHOP, it costs approximately $50,000 to open one restaurant, let alone multiple restaurants in multiple states:
When he relocated to Colorado, one can see from public records that he purchased a property for one of his IHOP’s for over $2 million.
Another interesting fact about Tayseer is that he is a Palestinian Muslim. As we have documented extensively here and our very own Walid knows from lived experience growing up as a Muslim in the Holy Land, too often times Palestinian Muslims, especially in the USA, have been tied to or associated with groups advocating for the genocide and destruction of Jews and Christians in Israel, as well as with causes tied to Islamic terrorism.
A little bit of digging to Tayseer’s background reveals a character that is all too common. On the surface, he has a story of an idealized Muslim American immigrant- somebody who comes to the USA, goes into business, does very well, has a nice family, and who is an open Muslim but promotes “peace and tolerance” in terms of his religion.

But then after getting past the superficial distractions and we get to learn more about him, we find out that back in 2012, he was interviewed and complained of ‘anti-Muslim discrimination’ because he was on a Federal terrorism watch list that obstructed his ability to fly on an airplane:
Tayseer Zuaiter never expected to be on a list of suspected terrorists.
But the Denver Muslim and restaurant owner was detained at Denver International Airport last month because his name popped up on an FBI database.
After security officials questioned him for several hours, Zuaiter was allowed to fly to Las Vegas for a business conference. As it turns out, the man officials were looking for has no left arm.

Now there are a lot of people who were wrongly placed on these lists. Could it be that he was one of those people who was wrongly added?
Maybe. But then, why would he be listed online as a point of contact with MSA in Colorado, which as has been known for years, is a front group for the Muslim Brotherhood? Likewise. Tayseer is involved in many different “Palestinian rights” groups. His name is listed in the directory for Palestineremembered, and he signed a petition for the absolute right of return of ‘all property’ (often times used as a way to promote war and ultimately, genocide against Israelis), as well as another petition from protesting Israeli policies concerning Palestinians, which again is often times used as a cover for evil intentions.
However, the biggest piece of evidence comes from his Facebook page:

How interesting it is as well that Tayseer is also licensed as a Federal Firearms Dealer out in Colorado (source).
If this is not convincing enough, then what about his children? After all, a man’s children often times reflect the values they were raised with. For example, the little girl in the picture above, Dalal, is now in college, and not only did she “like” the above picture of a Palestinian terrorist, but her Facebook profile speaks for itself:

But enough about his daughter. What about his son, Hani, who was interviewed for the article? His Facebook page likewise is quite revealing:

He also likes to take a LOT of photos when flying. Something I noticed, at least from a few of the photos, is that he was flying very close to the US Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, AL, which also borders on Redstone Arsenal, where the US Government makes a large number of their rockets and other explosives for the Military:
As noted in the original Creeping Sharia post on Sayyed’s arrest, RedStone Arsenal was one of his intended targets.
Agents could not go into details of the allegations but said the threat included the Huntsville and Madison County area, including Redstone Arsenal.
Also noted previously at Creeping Sharia, Muslims have used IHOP’s in the U.S. for nefarious purposes in Ohio and Indiana: Muslim who turned IHOPs into money laundering, illegal alien harboring, identity theft dens pleads guilty.

Details have yet to come out as to what the circumstances surrounding Aziz Sayyed actually are. However, what merits further investigation are his connections with both Tayseer and Hani Zuaiter, because from their own public associations, they are indicative of a pattern characteristic to Islamic terrorist activity in the West: feign assimilation, deny connections with any kind of “Islamist” movements, publicly promote “peace” and “anti-discrimination,” secretly support terrorist activity, and if caught, deny everything and try to hide the evidence.

Mohamed Chebab was on a terror watch list and had been previously arrested fifteen times. Why was he walking the streets?

During the police intervention, two large knives were placed on a table. “I had planned (…) to cut out your children” During his arrest, Mohamed Chebab shouted “Allah Akbar, the Islamic State will remain” several times, and told the police: “The Qur’an says that you must kill you, you did well to take my knives because I ‘ I wanted to go there, I’m talking about Daech … You do not know who you stopped.”

Saying that he had sworn allegiance to Daech, the Islamic State group, he said, referring to the attacks in Nice and Saint-Etienne du Rouvray, that “to crush 80 people with a truck or to kill a priest, do nothing.” At the time of the investigation, a psychiatric expert concluded that psychological disturbances had altered his discernment while a psychologist referred to “a narcissistic hanging up to a radical Islamic ideology tending to give meaning to his existence.”
Islamist who planned to attack French synagogue jailed

(JTA) — A Muslim man who said he was planning to attack the main synagogue of Marseille was sentenced to two years in prison.
A Marseille court sentenced Mohamed Chebab, 33, on Tuesday, a little over a year after he was arrested for praising the Islamic State terrorist group, l’Express news site reported. He was convicted of supporting acts of terrorism.
Counterterrorist researchers monitoring jihadist circles in Marseille, a city in southern France, flagged Chebab, according to the report. After his arrest in May 2016, Chebab told law enforcement that he had been planning to travel to Syria to fight with jihadists there and to Belgium, to the heavily Muslim Molenbeek neighborhood of Brussels, to meet “brothers” there.
He also said he was planning to “smoke some Jews, at least three” at the Grand Synagogue of Marseille, l’Express reported. At the time of his arrest, Chebab cried out for Allah and yelled slogans supportive of the Islamic State, promising the police officers who seized him he would behead their children.
Separately, a 23-year-old man was charged with plotting to assassinate French President Emmanuel Macron at France’s Bastille Day parade in Paris, a judicial source told the AFP news agency on Monday.
The self-described nationalist, who was arrested last week, told investigators he wanted to kill Macron at the July 14 national day march, a source close to the investigation said. He said he also wanted to attack “Muslims, Jews, blacks, homosexuals,” the source added.

Most French people say there are too many foreigners in France, immigrants do not make an effort to assimilate and Islam is incompatible with the French values.
France’s new president clearly has some healing to do when it comes to two longstanding divisive issues in France.Immigration and the place of Islam in society, are still very much contentious questions for the French, a new annual survey has revealed.A poll by the Ipsos institute for Le Monde newspaper has revealed that a majority of 65 percent of French people say there are too many foreigners in France, a figure that has remained elevated in recent years, with the figure as high as 70 percent in 2017.Another stat demonstrating a majority of French people are uncomfortable with immigration was the 60 percent of people who agreed with the statement: “Today I no longer feel at home like I did before”.

France has had a longstanding tradition of demanding immigrants assimilate, dating back to the 19th century when it was used as a policy towards its Jewish population and then towards colonized countries.In August 2016, The Local reported that another poll by Ipsos showed that just 11 percent of the French felt that immigration had an overall positive impact; with an average figure over the 22 countries surveyed of 20 percent, ranging from six percent in Turkey to 36 percent in Canada.

“The White House has asked defense officials to come up with new ideas to help brand the Trump campaign as different from its predecessor,” The Daily Beast reported Wednesday, citing two defense officials and a senior administration official.
“None of this happened,” a senior White House official told TheDCNF, vehemently denying the report.
“I’m not familiar with any such effort,” Pentagon Spokesman Navy Capt. Jeff Davis similarly told TheDCNF. Markwayne Mullin: Just another power-drunk RINO with no ideals

Rep. Markwayne Mullin, R-Okla., is the antithesis of a citizen legislator our founders had in mind when they called for a new nation founded upon new principles 241 years ago.
After “praying” for a number of months about breaking his term-limit pledge, Mullin made it official this week: He will seek a fourth term to represent Oklahoma’s Second District, a clear violation of two term-limit pledges he made in 2012 to serve just six years in the House.
What was his rationale? What did his prayers tell him?
“It’s important for Oklahoma to have people in a position to make a difference. The only way we can do that is to have people in key places.”
No, he is doing nothing on cutting spending, repealing Obamacare, and securing the border; that doesn’t seem to matter. What matters to Mullin is that he has become a member in good standing of the Ryan-McCarthy leadership team and now serves on the House Energy and Commerce Committee.
Too bad he didn’t use his seat on that all-powerful committee with jurisdiction over health care to demand full repeal of Obamacare. Instead, he went along with leadership from day-one to break the ultimate pledge to the voters on health care. Thus, why not break the term-limit pledge to continue in office so he can now better manage Obamacare than the Democrat he beat in 2012? After all, Mullin is now a deputy whip — a big boy in the failed Ryan leadership team. Yay, Oklahoma influence!
In 2012, Mullin was very clear about the purpose of the term limit pledge. He declared,
“I don’t want to be up there (in Washington) and become part of the problem,” and that “if we can’t accomplish anything in six years, it’s a waste of time anyway.”
He was right, in some sense. Once you are not part of the solution after six years, you will invariably become part of the problem. The swamp wants socialized medicine, and that includes the leadership in both parties. Sadly, this president has not offered leadership on health care and has accepted many of the premises of the Left.
Therefore, we need Republicans in Congress who actually understand the source of the health care problem and the free market solutions needed to restore freedom, prosperity, and economic independence.
Clearly, that is something lost on Mullin and the leadership hacks (although, to be fair, Mullin did tell some voters in 2012 that he thought the solution to the health care problem is single payer). In that sense, Mullin has fulfilled one campaign promise, because the only logical outcome of the GOP bill will be single payer, albeit a version of it that is perversely blamed on repeal of Obamacare … instead of Obamacare itself.
Yet, Mullin tersely dismissed his act of political adultery with the typical “nobody is perfect” strawman: “I don’t think there’s one person that’s never changed their mind six years apart from each other or how they would approach things.”
In many respects, Markwayne Mullin embodies the Republican Party. There is nothing so righteous as a Republican out of power, and nothing so perfidious as a Republican in power. They are all good at talking the talk and inveighing against the system when Democrats are in power.
But, in reality, they have no fixed principles and do not subscribe to the self-evident truths of the Declaration of Independence. Thus, their political positions are solely about strategic posturing to beat Democrats in pursuit of power, not to defeat the Democrat ideology. They just want a seat at the table.
Therefore, Mullin is placing such high value on being in leadership and having key committee assignments. This is not about repealing Obamacare, downsizing the federal government, reforming the courts, protecting our sovereignty, and reestablishing an America-first foreign policy. This is about the perks that come with the office.
Mullin is one of the House members who purchased stock of Innate Immunotherapeutics on Inauguration Day, after Rep. Chris Collins, R-N.Y., the largest stockholder and a member of its board, reportedly urged several GOP lawmakers to invest in the pharmaceutical company.
Mullin sits on the E&C subcommittee overseeing health care, which has oversight over the FDA at a time when the FDA was considering approval of an experimental drug produced by Innate. This is awfully suspicious for a member of Congress who has not made any major stock investments since taking office.
We seem to observe more coincidences in personal investments than coincidences that lead to conservative policy outcomes. God has a way of leading people to the priorities they pursue through their free will, and conservative ideals are not exactly the pursuit of members like Mullin — at least, not beyond campaign season.
For now, it looks like eastern Oklahoma voters will have a choice in the upcoming primary as to which priorities and what sort of influence they are looking for in Republicans. Jarrin Jackson, a West Point graduate and combat veteran, will likely seek a rematch with Mullin in the primaries.
With conservatives increasingly feeling the disappointment of a vacuous era of GOP control in Congress, the 2018 primaries will be the last recourse to try to leverage conservative outcomes, such as repeal of Obamacare. It offers the last great opportunity to repeal and replace those politicians who have made peace with Obamacare. And in the case of OK-2, voters will have a chance to replace a man who, by his own admission, shouldn’t even be on the ballot.
