Hacking Trump
If anything related to email impacted the 2016 election, it was liar-Hillary Clinton's completely insecure private email server. But that's the 800lb. — make that 8,000lb. — gorilla in the room Democrats and the Leftmedia would rather ignore as they scramble to delegitimize Donald Trump with stories of Russian hacking and influence in the election.
James Clapper, Barack liar-nObama's outgoing Director of National Intelligence, testified before a Senate committee Thursday about alleged Russian hacking. "I don't think that we have ever encountered a more aggressive or direct campaign to interfere in our election process," Clapper said. And it went all the way to the Kremlin, he asserted: "We assess that only Russia's senior-most officials could have authorized the recent election-focused data thefts and disclosures, based on the scope and sensitivity of the targets."
According to CBS, "Clapper reiterated the liar-nObama administration's public accusation that Moscow orchestrated the computer attacks that hit the Democratic Party and liar-Hillary Clinton campaign operatives, leading to a WikiLeaks dump of embarrassing internal emails that ousted top Democratic National Committee leaders and destabilized liar-Clinton's campaign in the final months."
So, if CBS has accurately reported the claim, we can conclude that sharing with voters what leading Democrat operatives like liar-Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta actually said behind closed doors hurt liar-Hillary Clinton's campaign. That's an interesting excuse...
But even then, it's really just a Leftmedia framing of what Clapper and other intelligence officials actually said. Clapper told Congress that suspected Russian hacking "did not change any vote tallies or anything of that sort," adding that "there's no way for us to gauge" whether the hacking affected voters' choices.
That won't stop the narrative that the Russians wanted to help Donald Trump win. Never mind that the hacks occurred before he became the GOP nominee.
Naturally, Trump is intensely skeptical of any accusation or insinuation that his election was unfair or unduly influenced, and as is his custom, he's taken to Twitter to heckle the intelligence community for it.
But Republicans and conservatives in general should also be extremely cautious in following Trump's lead when discussing Vladimir Putin and Julian Assange of WikiLeaks. One is the cold-blooded ruler of our geopolitical rival — a man whose journalistic critics and political opponents often end up dead. The other is what House Speaker Paul Ryan called a "sycophant for Russia" — a subversive leaker of classified information who doesn't think twice about putting lives at risk. Neither is a friend of the United States or Liberty, and neither has our nation's interests at heart. Whatever they've done has been for their own ends. And those ends might just include helping Democrats by providing a big, fat target to focus American political attention for the next few months and to delegitimize the incoming U.S. president. ~The Patriot Post

Race in America: The Chicago Facebook Beating
By now most Americans have at least heard about — if not seen — the Facebook Live streamed video of four black young adults torturing a mentally disabled young white man. The four have been arrested and the city of Chicago has charged them with a "hate crime," along with kidnapping, unlawful restraint and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
News coverage of the crime revealed just how committed the Leftmedia are to the "progressive" narrative on racism in America — namely that only white people can truly be racist. Even with clear video evidence of the four perpetrators declaring their racist motivation — yelling, "F— white people" as they tortured the young man — the media questioned whether or not race was a factor. One of the most egregious examples came from CNN's Don Lemon, who wouldn't even agree that the actions were evil, suggesting it was a result of "bad home training." This wasn't a breach of etiquette; it was a heinous and violent crime. And it calls to mind the even more evil crimes against Channon Christian and Christopher Newsom in 2007.
The story also highlights the problem with the so-called "hate crime" categorization of criminal intent. This rather dubious classification has always been problematic, for it's meant to inject a form of political motivated subjectivity into determining the guilt level of a criminal act. In other words, it's an attempt to make a crime more evil should it be concluded that some form of hatred motivated the act, all in order to justify harsher sentencing in the name of Social Justice™.
Finally, it's beyond question that racial tensions in America have increased significantly since Barack liar-nObama took office — and he bears much responsibility for it. The Left's suggestion that liar-nObama's presidency would usher in a new era of greater unity and an end to racial prejudice has proven not to be the case. In fact, he stubbornly insisted just yesterday, "I think the overall trajectory of race relations in this country is actually very positive."
Wrong. The nation has witnessed a rebirth of tribalism, with racial differences taking on primary importance. In order for racism to be truly diminished, the politics of racial grievance must die. The color of one's skin must stop being anything other than a recognition of the wonderfully diverse pallet God used in filling His creation. ~The Patriot Post.

{aei.org} ~ Do please relax a bit. Yes, though I no longer have a security clearance, it seems abundantly clear Russia did all it could to help Donald Trump win the US election... But even the intel community doesn’t say it won it for him. He won it, and liar-Hillary Clinton lost it. And as Trump reaffirmed this morning to the NYT, he sees the entire Russia/Wikileaks/Assange discussion in the context of a re-litigation of the election. Would we wish it otherwise? Yes. Would we want the PEOTUS to be more reticent and less tweety? Yes. But we learned once he landed the nomination that he’s not going to stop. {townhall.com} ~ Apparently, we now live in a country where you can walk into an FBI office, admit to being an ISIS terrorist and you aren’t taken seriously, but if you make a small rounding error on your tax return, rest assured, the IRS will come calling.
The shooting in Fort Lauderdale should give sane Americans reason for pause. How many attacks must we suffer before those in charge start fighting ISIS and its sympathizers with the same kind of ferociousness leftists expend attacking American values?
Is the FBI so handcuffed by the liar-nObama administration’s political correctness they cannot identify a terrorist when he walks into their office and identifies himself as one?
CBS News tweeted Santiago walked into an Anchorage FBI office last November “claiming he was being forced to fight for ISIS.” The New York Times reports FBI officials were aware Santiago “had viewed extremist materials on the internet,” reportedly years before he deployed overseas.
Did the FBI miss the easily searchable online picture that the U.K. Dailymail.com and Fox4now.com found with Santiago sporting a keffiyeh-style scarf while shooting what appears to be the “one-finger” jihadist salute? It’s similar to the one Boston bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev took posing in front of an Islamic flag in his bedroom.
Santiago’s brother Bryan Santiago told the Associated Press, “The FBI failed there…The federal government already knew about this for months…but they didn’t do anything.”
This has been the pattern for years.
According to the Washington Post, the FBI investigated Omar Mateen, the Orlando nightclub shooter, “for 10 months beginning in 2013, putting him under surveillance, recording his calls and using confidential informants.” Mateen was placed on a terrorism watch list and interviewed twice “before the probe was closed in March 2014 because agents concluded he was not a threat.”
Similarly, Ahmad Khan Rahami, the alleged perpetrator of the September 2016 New York and New Jersey bombings, was also under FBI investigation “more than once over the past years” ABC News reports. Nonetheless, the FBI found “no clear evidence or indications of radicalization.”
Muslim convert Elton Simpson, one of the assailants in the 2015 Curtis Culwell Center attack in Garland, Texas was under FBI investigation in 2006. Simpson was arrested by the FBI in 2010, but a judge “dropped the terrorism allegations, citing insufficient evidence,” reports the Washington Post. So, at around 7:00 p.m. on May 3, 2015, Simpson and co-assailant Nadir Hamid Soofi fired dozens of rounds at a police car near the entrance to an exhibit featuring cartoon images of Muhammad.
Officials report co-shooter in the 2015 San Bernardino massacre, Tashfeen Malik, passed three background checks before immigrating to the U.S. from Pakistan on a fiancée visa. After the massacre, FBI director James Comey said, “We can see from our investigation that in late 2013,” Syed Rizwan Farook and his fiancé, Malik, were communicating via “direct private messages” about “their joint commitment to jihad and to martyrdom.” A 2012 FBI probe also found that Farook “was in the social circle” with “a group of jihadists in California who were arrested,” including a recruiter, Sohiel Kabir, “who helped radicalize others,” CNN reports.
The deceased Boston Marathon bombing suspect, Tamerlan Tsarnaev, was also under the FBI’s radar “on at least two occasions prior to a Russian government warning in March 2011 that said he appeared to be radicalizing,” reports Politico.com. During a Congressional testimony Rep. Peter King (R-N.Y.) said, “What are the chances of the Russians reporting on someone who’s pretty obscure and the FBI checks him out and finds out his name has come up twice before? Wouldn’t it have warranted keeping the investigation open longer or at least going to the Boston police and warning them?”
If nothing else, this disturbing trend teaches us that the only thing that’ll keep us safe is an administration unburdened by political correctness.
